Mini-usb To Micro-usb Adapters - adapter, micro usb

I have a number of Mini USB cables that weren't seeing much use. I recently purchased an HTC Incredible (Micro USB) and found myself needing extra charging cables so I wouldn't have to constantly unplug/plug and carry around cables to work/home/elsewhere. These adapters allowed me to use the Mini USB cables I already had. I leave one at work, one by my desktop, one near the couch where my netbook sits, and one in my car. The added bonus of using the adapter is I can take it off and connect the Mini to a device that requires a Mini (my MP3 player and digital camera). StarTech Micro USB to Mini USB 2.0 Adapter M/F (UUSBMUSBMF)

This is not a true USB adapter since there are no wires connecting the data pins. The result is that you can use it to charge but it will not work for data transfer.

I tried it on an LG and a Nokia phone. The charge function worked on both. The data function worked on neither. I then snapped open the case of the adapter and, lo and behold, inside were just two wires connecting the voltage pins from one side to the other. The data pins had no wires at all.

The data function has worked worked for some people, so it appears not everyone is receiving the same item.

If you need a true USB adapter, look elsewhere as you don't know what you'll end up getting.

If all you need is a charging adapter, you may also want to look elsewhere as this one is cheaply made and doesn't look like it will last very long.

I received 2 of these adapters on March 16, 2011. I checked both of them and confirmed that they were for charging only. I opened them up to look at the wiring and only power and ground wires were there. The micro USB plug does not have the data pins sticking out to even soldering data wires.

The older reviews that stated the adapters worked for data transfer must had been different adapters. The product description of "Micro USB To Mini USB 2.0 M/f Adapter" is misleading for not disclosing the details.

Do NOT buy this adapter if you plan to use for data transfer.

Don't buy this if you're looking for an adapter for a data cable. This one works great, but only for charging. Motorola makes a charger and data adapter you can get from Amazon for $3.00 if that's what you're looking for.

I got this product because I have a lot of mini USB chargers that predate my new phone. It is a simple product but badly executed. The micro usb/male end is an extremely tight fit to my phone and with repeated use I notice that other cables no longer make good contact with the phone when charging or tranferring data. The tight-fitting adapter effectively expands your phone's micro usb port making charging with better fitting cables impossible. Not recommended.

My Blackberry curve mini USB connector broke inside the unit. I have tons of accessories for the curve (e.g. chargers, tether cables). I replaced the curve with a bold that uses a micro USB connector. I purchased 10 of these adapters and now can convert mini USB to micro USB. It saved me a considerable expense. These adapters have worked flawlessly.

I bought 5 of these adapters, since they were so cheap. Unfortunately on 1 of 5 (20% of my total purchase) worked. I was planning on leaving some at work, car, office, latptop bag, etc. so that I could just use one cord for USB Hard drive storage and for phone charging, wherever I'm at. They are cheaply made, and the single one that DID actually work, I had to superglue together, since they're just snapped together with cheap plastic; it kept coming apart whenever there was even the smallest bit of pressure on either end. Stay away from these.

I bought this knowing that it JUST works CHARGING a product from a USB charger. It does this job fine and I am very happy with the performance. It allowed me to use several AC (Wall-wart) chargers and Automotive 12v to 5v USB cables with newer USB products. I bought many of these so I would have spares as necessary. The product may not be reliable in the long run, which is why I bought extra. - Adapter - Micro Usb - Blackberry - Mini To Micro Usb Adapter'

Sleeves

I am a voluteer with the Miracle League in El Paso, Tx. At work we have a program to create trading cards for the kids. After I made the cards I was debating between laminating them or buying the card sleeves. I decided to go with the card sleeves, and they work perfectly. For the price you can not go wrong. Once I run out I will get more to protect my own collecting of cards. If you use toploaders these are a must for extra protection. 1 (One) Pack of Ultra-PRO Extra Thick Card Sleeves for Thick Jersey or Memorabilia Sports Trading Cards

Perhaps I did not understand that "extra thick" card sleeves does NOT mean the plastic is extra thick. Quite honestly, they are so flimsy, I consider them useless. The plastic has more of a film-like thickness, not very protective.'

Swim Diapers - samantha, swim diapers

I borrowed the size info from another (very considerate) parent who posted reviews for everyone. The review is all mine though!!!! :)

These diapers are great - the sizing is accurate and they work really well. The elastic is not too loose or too tight, but the diapers contain the solid mess well. Parents should be aware that ALL reusable swim diapers (or at least all that I have found) allow the liquids to pass through and contains the solid matter. My daughter likes these ALOT more than disposable swim diapers - if we tryt o put a disposable on her when traveling she gets upset and says - "no, no,no - I want white diaper" (these)!!!

Sizing & Product Info:

Small: 10-18lbs

Medium: 18-22lbs

Large: 22-25lbs

X-Large: 25-30lbs

3T: 30-38lbs

4T: 38-46lbs

UPF 50+, PVC Free Eco Friendly, 100% Polyester iPlay White Ultimate Swim Diaper, White, X-Large

My daughter had an 8 week swim class. This swim diaper worked like a charm. I was nervous about the white, thinking it may discolor in the pool or if it got dirty. It never discolored and if my daughter had an accident the diaper held up great. She used it once or twice a week for 8 weeks and it still looks like brand new. This product saved me tons of money and I will be buying more next summer.iPlay White Ultimate Swim Diaper, White

Soaking in soap and water alone did not rid this diaper of it's smell after 1st use. As directed I did not use bleach but rather washed it using the sterilize hot water setting on my washer. It was back to new after that. I would recommend this product but advise to wash quickly after use and in hot water.

This is the second iplay swim diaper I have purchased for my son. I love them. I was pleasantly surprised that the company changed the design slightly with the snaps on the side for easier on and off. Iplay swim diapers hold everything in. Yes, the older style (without the snaps) are messy to remove if the child poops in it. The diapers hold up so well though. My son wears them at our local Y (so a high chlorine level in the water) and I machine wash the diaper as soon as we get home. These diapers are worth the money (about the cost of one pack of disposable swim diapers). I feel they run true to size - my son wears a 24 month pant and the XL fits perfectly.

I am so happy with this swim diaper; the seams and fabric and elastic are all very high quality. Probably the nicest one we own! I would probably like colors or prints better, but eh, it just goes underneath the swimsuit, right?

I got the X-large size for my 10 month old and so far we've only used it 5 or so times. It fits great, is easy to put on, and fits under his regular swimsuit. As for functionality, he once peed before going into the pool, and it did hold it. We've never tested it on number 2 yet.

My son is now 2 years old and has been wearing Iplay swim diapers since he was 4 months old and I took him swimming for the first time. I recently purchased our third swim diaper in an XL (24 months). I love everything about the Iplay swim diapers, and have had no need to try another brand. They fit great, run true to size, hold everything, and are very affordable. I was looking at other brands recently because I was concerned about the lack of snaps/velcro and having to pull the diaper down on a squirmy 2 year old in case of a mess. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Iplay has improved their diaper by adding snaps on the side. Now the swim diaper is absolutely perfect. :) - Swim Diaper - Samantha - Swim Diapers'

Cordless Screwdriver - cordless, cordless screwdriver

I bought this as a gift for my Dad for Christmas. I already own (and love) its main competitor, Milwaukee's 12v driver so I decided to do a quick side-by-side comparison. In terms of look, size, and performance, the two tools are about as equal as can be. The Milwaukee did seem to drive the 3" screws slightly faster but it was a very small difference. Overall, the two were basically equal in everything except one factor - the mechanism for changing bits. On the Bosch, you pull the chuck straight out to release the bit, but you need to continue holding it out to insert the new bit (basically need two hands). On the Milwaukee, you pull out the chuck and it locks into the open position, then you insert the new bit and it locks into place (only need one hand to do a bit change). For this reason alone, I would rate the Milwaukee just ahead of the Bosch. In any case, I would be thrilled with either. Bosch PS20-2A 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Pocket Driver with 2 Batteries

As everyone else has noted, this is a really wonderful tool: light, powerful, and well balanced. This single tool now replaces BOTH my heavyweight DeWalt for big jobs, AND a nimble little Skil 2336-02 iXO 3.6-Volt for tight spaces. [The latter duo have gone to a vacation home.]

That said, the Bosch comes with an annoyingly cheesy cloth case, with an equally annoying Velcro strap inside to secure the driver. But most annoying of all is that it comes with essentially NO BITS.

I naturally looked for a companion set of Bosch bits and rapidly discovered from the valuable Amazon reviews [for which this review is karmic payback] that the quick-change chuck in the "Bosch CC2130 Clic-Change 27-Piece Drilling and Driving Set" DOES NOT FIT the PS20 series!

SOLUTION: For one third the price of the Bosch set, I eventually found the Titan 16048 Quick-Disconnect 48 Piece Drilling and Driving Set in Plastic Case which DOES fit and works very well, and also has about double the number of bits as the Bosch set. I now leave the Titan quick-change chuck permanently installed, and can then pop bits in and out with one hand.

This Titan set really is the perfect (and remarkably cheap) companion to the PS20-2A.

Just bought the 12v drill/driver made by Bosch. I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't buy it from Amazon because I found it cheaper on E... Only reason is I'm such a tightwad I make every penny squeek when I'm buying tools. That's why I don't buy cheap tools and this certainly ain't cheap.

I've been using it since I got it and it's a dream tool. I drill with #55 size bits and all my other drills were so heavy I'd break a bit every 7th or 8th hole. Still on the same bit since I switched to the PS20-2A.

The batteries, (you get 2 with the PS20-2A), charge in about 30 minutes and seem to last forever. I tried wearing one down in the first 3 hours of intermittent drilling and couldn't do it.

The only thing I'd comment negatively about is that stupid little super-brite LED they put on the drill. I guess it's supposed to illuminate the drill tip at the point of contact but it only lights up the area below the actual area you need lighted. I sent a note to Bosch about this flaw so maybe they'll fix it. Well, I can dream can't I?

Finally, If you need a great little Drill/driver that'll become a star of your toolbox or belt this is the one. I don't gush unless it's very special but this tool is super special. Best Regards

I purchased this product to replace a compact B&D compact drill driver. The manufacturer's literature says this will drive 100 3 inch screws on one battery so since I was in the process of building a deck, I decided to put this claim to the test. Before attempting to drive a 2 3/4" deck screw, I pre-drilled through the deck board and into the joist. After attempting to drive one screw at the highest torque setting, I put this tool away. It was very ineffective for this purpose, unable to drive the screw all the way. For comparison, I used an old DeWalt 12v driver, which did drive the deck screw all the way. At another point, while replacing damaged drywall, I again tried to use the Bosch. While somewhat more effective, it still labored to drive the screw into the stud, but did manage to sink the head. It appears that the best use for the Bosch is for light duty in close quarters where a full size drill would be unable to reach. Given the price of $99, it would appear there are better options out there. Anyone looking to buy this as their primary drill should look elsewhere.

Bosh advertises this as a driver and that's how I primarily use it, but I have used it as a drill as well.

Since this is a cordless driver, it is relatively slow in the RPM department, I think it maxes out at 300RPM but the control you have over the speed is very, very fine. At the slightest trigger pull the front light comes on, a little more and the chuck creeps around, maybe 5 RPM. Pull the trigger fully and the motor spins up almost instantly to full speed.

But the neat part is the brake... from any speed, let go of the trigger completely and the chuck comes to a complete stop, so quickly that there is a recoil from full speed. When you're driving a screw and the clutch slips, and you release the trigger, the chuck just stops spinning, no extra force is put in to the screw.

I've used this driver for several years as my daily driver while working on computers. I've also used it for automotive and house work as well as tear-down and rebuilding of horse stalls.

Don't let the small size of the driver fool you, this a primary tool! At the lower clutch settings you can safely drive metal screws in to plastic, or plastic screws in to anything. At the MAX setting, you can drive long screws in to hardwood.

Will other drivers out-drive it? Yes. But this tool comes with two batteries, they charge faster than you can drain them and you can literally use it all day without more than a few seconds downtime per battery change every few hours.

Is it tough? My driver has been in the heat, cold, damp, dust and dropped I can't tell you how many times and it still works like new.

I do wish the LED was angled a little bit toward the chuck, in the straight-ahead alignment it has the light falls just below the work point.

If you want an electric driver and part time drill, this should be at the top of your list. If you want a high-speed drill, look elsewhere this isn't your tool. I hope mine doesn't break any time soon, but when it does I'll replace it with another PS20. - Cordless - Cordless Drill - Lithium - Cordless Screwdriver'

Finish Nailers - finish nailer, senco

Wow! What a tool. I am building a home, and decided to do a good chunk of the trim carpentry. Knowing about this technology over 2 years ago(as I call on Senco), I was pleased to find out it was available when it was time for me to purchase a finish nailer. I have every pnuematic gun, except for the finish nailer. I was skeptical at first, but after 8 LONG days of hanging 27 doors, casing all the doors & windows, and putting up base, I'm happy to report the gun is amazing. The idea/technology is pretty simple, and am surprised no one was able to make this before 2010... but, I'm sure there is a lot more to it.

Size is good, battery life is good - at first, I wished I had a 2nd battery, but the quick charge feature made me question that. 2 of the 8 days, i ran out of charge(no idea how many nails fired), but a short 15 mins in the charger, and it was enough to finish the day's work. 2 1/2 in nails had no problem hanging doors... it sometimes didn't countersink when firing into some tougher areas of wood, but overall pretty impressive. 2" & 1 1/2" nails had NO PROBLEM countersinking DEEP into everything. Took some time getting used to the nose & it's size/where the nail would actually fire out... but again, just a learning curve(A smaller nose would be nicer, however).

The gun saved me lugging my compressor in & out of the house everyday, as well as dragging it and/or airlines all over the home. Easily saved me 3-5 hours, and probably more.

I initially thought I would use the gun for building my home, and then selling on Craigslist or something. Now, I'm pretty sure I'll keep it forever. In the past, there have been many times when I'd want to use an air nailer, but didn't want to go to the hassle of getting out the compressor & dragging it to the job. Now, I'll always have this thing... think I'm going to use it a lot more than I had originally thought.

Overall, a great tool, at a great price($400). SENCO FN65DA F-15 15 GA Fusion Finish Nailer

I just picked this nailer up for trim work to replace my Paslode. I installed 12 interior doors with it and another 15 doors the following day. It worked great. My only complaint is the battery does not last long. I have another battery on order. The tip is on the big side for fine nail placement, but for things like setting doors, crown or installing shelving it would work fine. Another review I read said the case sucks, it does but it wouldn't keep me from buying another one.

We were early adopters of the new Senco Fusion technology. I was skeptical at first when my general partner bought one for our use because it seemed pricey, but we decided to give it a try. Our business specializes in residential and office remodeling, where dragging compressors and air hoses around can be time consuming and possbly damage trim work. This nailer is great since you just grab it and go. No cartridges or smell. Batteries charge right away (we have two). The Senco rep says the pressurized cartridge will last for 200,000 shots and the replacement is $180.

Now, the guy working with the air hose is jealous. We can't wait for the 18ga finish nailer to come out in June 2011.

Not a shill review - we use several Senco, Hitachi and Porter Cable finish nailers in our work. They all work super. With hoses.

Hope this helps-

First off let me say this, finally someone got it right. I am contractor and was looking and patiently waiting for someone to produce a truly contractor grade cordless nailer. I have found it in this tool. I found this tool earlier this week and at first was somewhat skeptical. After I called SENCO directly, which by the way was a great experience, I was sold. This tool does everything that it says it does and in my opinion will be unbeatable by anyone else that tries. It is lightweight, charges fast, easy to use, and most importantly drives every nail every time perfectly,

If you are a contractor, home improvement specialist, remodeler, or finish carpenter then this is the tool for you. I know, I know I sound like an advertisement for the company. Maybe they will give me some nails or something for free out of this, but I am really that impressed with this nailer. It is rugged, charges fast, and the designers of this tool had professionals in mind. I can say that it paid for itself the first time I used it.

I've had the Fusion 15 GA nailer for a few weeks, and it's performing well. It replaces a Paslode 14 GA cordless nailer. The only gripe so far is that the 15 GA nails will split thinner trim, such as door casing, more often than the Paslode's 14 GA nails did. That's not the fault of the nailer. It works well enough, especially with heavier trim like brickmold that I'll probably get the Fusion 18 GA nailer once it's available.

It's got a mechanical sounding shot, not a pneumatic one but it's acceptably quiet for use in my consumer's homes. Especially compared to the rifle-shot of the Paslode. I'd always try to remember to warn homeowners that I was about to shoot nails with the Paslode. When forgotten, I'd get responses ranging from screams to, "Are you OK? I thought that you fell off a ladder or something."

It's been in the teens and 20s here in Wisconsin. The Fusion is kept in the truck, and it's worked consistently right out of the cold. The Paslode required the fuel cell to warm up under an arm for a few minutes before it would fire reliably.

I've used the nail jamb clearing feature only once. It performed as described, making a ratcheting sound as the driving pin reset itself. The depth gauge is easy to read and adjust. Nails mostly go to the depth expected, and when they stand proud it's easier to set the heavy 15 GA nails without bending or having the nail-set slip than it was with the 14 GA ones.

So far, no regrets. - Finish Nailer - Senco - Finish Nailers'

Tom Tom Deluxe Carry Case - carrying case, recommended

This case is good for the money. I read the reviews after I purchased it and felt I perhaps made a mistake in buying it. Many people gave this case an unfavorable review. One even said, "say goodbye to your GPS screen" alluding that it would break/crack against the cord when closed. Well, common sense told me to turn the GPS over so that the screen is protected against the outer shell of the case. DA!! Everything fits neatly into it and is not a problem for me. The only thing that doesn't fit in the case is the suction holder for the windshield. No big deal. To sum it up, I am happy with my purchase. Carry Case for TomTom and Garmin GPS Navigators

Case is nice, but will not work as picture shows - you cannot put unit and power cord in case and slose it - no reason to transport unit without power cord with it & that is the case with this product.

I bought this case for my Garmin Nuvi 1300, and it works just fine for me. Its true that if you put your nose inside the case and smell it, it smells like smoke.... but I did not buy the case to smell it! The mesh pouch is large enough to fit only my charger, which is perfect for me. Make sure you store your Garmin screen towards the hard shell of the case... NOT towards the pouch where your charger will be. I was VERY skepical about buying this case because of all the negative reviews, but I am glad that I gave it a shot because its exactly what I need: a case for my garmin & my charger.

No, it's not a waste of money. This is great to protect the screen on the GPS device, that is one of the main purpose for it. Get this and put this and your chargers and accessories in a separate case. That is the way to go, might save you some money in the long run.

I purchased the case for my TomTom 340M. As has been mentioned by previous reviewers, the case that is pictured is not what I received. My case does have the TomTom brand on it. The case is designed to open about an inch, and is only large enough to hold the TomTom unit. There is no room for the power cord.

If you are looking for a case to hold your TomTom in to keep the face from getting scratched while it is in your backpack or purse, then this will be more than adequate. If you are looking for a case that will consolidate the TomTom and the power cord in one convenient carrying case, then you may want to consider an alternate source for the product.

I made a bad choice in choosing this case for my Tom Tom XL340. You can only fit the Tom Tom in it, there is no room for the charger cord.

Go to Wally World and buy you a cheap camera case it will hold everthing. - Gps Case - Recommended - Carrying Case - Tom Tom Deluxe Carry Case'

Secure Digital - memory card, digital camera accessory

It's a fine product, and it works just fine in products that support the SDHC format. However, be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN your product (be it a digital camera, memory card reader or--in my case--the Palm T|X PDA which for some STRANGE reason doesn't read it) reads it. Just because your device is new doesn't necessarily mean that it will recognize SDHC cards (as opposed to the older SD cards).

If your device recognizes SDHC cards, then by all means go forth and thrash. You won't find a better card for the price. SanDisk 8 GB Class 2 SDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDB-8192-A11

I recently bought a Kindle and wanted the extra storage space for books. The Kindle manual states that is uses SD cards, but didn't specify if it could use SDHC cards too.

After chatting with a few people in the Kindle Discussion room, I found that others are succesfully using SDHC cards in their Kindle's, but Amazon Kindle Tech Support told me that they will not support SDHC cards at this time, should they fail.

So being an avid reader, I took the chance and ordered the SanDisk 8GB SDHC card and it works like a champ in the Kindle. I've loaded 7 books to it already and can read and write to it without a problem. Be aware though, that only 7.3 GB of space is available on the card for storage when used in the Kindle.

I have had no problems with any of the SanDisk SD, SD Micro, or XD cards I've purchased over the years. They are reliable & durable and I will continue to purchase this brand again in the future.

Awesome little card...I bought it for my Canon PowerShot G9 12.1MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom, and it keeps up with my shooting wonderfully...it also gives me plenty of space to go nuts, no worrying about running out of memory!

In retrospect. I probably would have saved a little money and gotten a 4 gig card. I have taken well over a thousand 12 megapixel pictures on my camera and still haven't had to empty it out, and probably can take 700 or 800 more. If you take a LOT of pictures, its worth it, but it really has to be a LOT to fill this bad boy up.

BEWARE hidden shipping charges!!! Like others here, I got charged FULL shipping TWICE, ordering 2 SD cards that both shipped in the same envelope - This is nothing but a cash grab as there is no extra cost to the merchant for shipping the second card. I bought from Amazon merchant BoBoTechnic. I contacted the merchant and they basically said 'sorry, that's how we do business'. I'll order from a different Amazon merchant next time.

SD1200is takes HD movies, at about 1GB for 10 mins. Unless you plan to shoot HD movies continously for 80 mins on a tripod, you won't run out of space. For photos? A few weeks worth of space, with the camera on all the time and a fully charged spare battery. I don't like the multilevel cardboard / plastic packaging, hard to get into. Make sure you have SD"HC" capable camera, or you won't be able to use all the space, or maybe not even access the unit. Speed is also great. I have a handfull of CF SD units from SanDisk for several different cameras, never had a problem.

My first 1 GB Memory Card was $100. The price on this 8 GB was under $15. I thought for sure it would not work properly. It has turned out to be an excellent product, with no difference in quality than premium priced products I have purchased before. I can recommend this product without reservation. A photo shop informed me that if your camera equipment is too old to handle the 8 GB load it will not download properly because of the size.

I simply don't understand why you charge double the shipping when you put everything in one packet and send it anyway. The cost to you is not double, but you charged me double shipping, a nice way to rip off customers.

I found this item in the search for deals section. The price of $ 14.99 was crossed out on the screen and the new price of $ 9.69 was in the cost space. I needed two so I selected buy with one click on volume of two. Now I receive the two 8 gb cards with a receipt for $ 14.99 each. What goes on here? I have not used them and have not opened them. I think I will send them back. I should have 3 at the advertised price or a reduced price for the two SanDisk cards. - Digital Camera Accessory - Sd Card - Sdhc - Memory Card'

Electric Powered Ride-ons - power wheels, power wheel

I ordered this Jeep from the actual Fisher Price site because Amazon did not yet have it and I needed it for my 3 year old's birthday. It is pretty awesome. I'm not sure how it compares to the Rubicon or the Barbie version but it does work on grass!

The "rockin' tunes" are funny to listen to (it is essentially an electric guitar solo). The volume adjustment works well and will play somewhat loud. I marked it as 5 star educational because my kid is learning how to drive and mess with the radio AND talk on the microphone at the same time.

At 2.5 MPH my kid who weighs 31 lbs wasn't quite heavy enough to get it through longer grass (longer as in hadn't mowed the lawn in 2 weeks). When there was another child in the jeep, it would go fine on the grass. When I took out the safety screw so he could go 5 MPH, he went through the longer grass by himself without spin-outs.

He's been riding it every day for about 30 minutes for almost a week now (mostly in the 5 MPH mode) and I haven't had to recharge the battery yet.

Setting it up was a breeze. Just needed a longer phillips head screwdriver. I used a drill with an extender for some of the screws and it went quick.

As a side note, it looks way cooler without the tribal art. We didn't put the tribal art (stickers) on the hood or the sides and it is shiny/glossy/metallic looking black. Power Wheels Tough Talkin Jeep Wrangler

This is the best. We had purchased a 6 volt battery operated tractor and it did not have enough power. I would recommend anything 12 volt. My grandson is 2 years old and he has a ball with this jeep. Goes on grass, dirt and pavement. Highly recommend it.

This is a great product. I have two little boys, four and two years of age, and they can't get enough. The tires do not get any traction in the snow unless you modify them. I took a box of self drilling hex head roofing screws and added a little grip. This move worked out GREAT. It can get traction anywhere now.

My kids just received this as a Christmas gift 2010. Within a week, the battery was unable to hold a charge. I called Fisher Price to report the problem (it's only been out of the box for 2 weeks at this point), and their only solution is to have the vehicle serviced at a local service center - a 45 minute drive from my house (I live by a major metroplex not out in the country somewhere). They think that most likely my charger is broken, but they won't just ship me a new charger. The only way to get a new one is to set up an appt with the service center (call before hand and make sure replacement part is actually in stock) and take the entire vehicle and parts to the center -- all for a defective charger on a BRAND NEW toy. So it was great while it was working, but beware if something goes wrong!

Power Wheels Tough Talkin Jeep Wrangler

I bought the Power Wheels Tough Talking Jeep Wrangler for my 3 year old grandson. He has loved driving it and it has space for his 3 year old cousin. It would be nice if the microphone worked better.

My 4 year old got this for his birthday. We have the faster gear locked out for now but he drives his 2 year old sister around and it is so much fun for them and also to watch them drive around and play. He has only had it for three weeks so I am not sure how durable it will be but so far so good. The battery stays charged for multiple uses. Overall I would recommend it. - Power Wheels - Power Wheel - Battery Powered Ride-on - Electric Powered Ride-ons'

Indoor Tanning - bronzers, tanning lotion

I've had this lotion for a couple of months now. It is fantastic you don't have to use that much as it just glides on your body like silk, and it really smells nice, leaves your skin feeling so soft and radiant. I can't say enough good things about this lotion, even the owner of the Tanning Salon that I tan at asked me about it and I let her try it and she loves it so now she order it for her salon. All I can say is try it you'll love it. :) Millenium Tanning Black Night Premium Tanning Lotion, Thermal Emulsion, Bronzer Tan Technology, 60x, 13.5-Ounce

Highly recommend this tanning product. Works great, no orange color. I am very fair complected and now have a great tan (worked well even the very first time)!! Other products have not worked as well. This one does a super job of moisturizing my skin as well. This is the second time purchasing the product and will purchase again. Product arrived quickly.....super!!

With so many products out there you never know what's a good one for you until you try. Black night 60x is great product. It goes on nice, smells clean, leaves your skin silky soft and doesn't give you that feared carrot orange glow :)

I would buy this lotion again.

I was skeptical ordering this, as I've always used Australian Gold products, but had read good reviews on this site about it. I got this order within just 3 days or so...I couldn't believe how fast it arrived! I'm a fair skinned person, and usually, it takes me a couple of weeks of tanning 4 days a wk (or more) to get a good base tan. It only took me 3 times....once every other day....with this lotion to already see a tan/bronze! It works really well! The smell is ok...neither bad or good. It doesn't leave my skin as soft as my last lotion, but it sure gets me darker faster. And what a bargain buying online from the Amazon site! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick tan (for an event or something).

Im fair skinned and ive been tanning in the regular beds for 15 mins Eod or E3d's and using this and im Darker than i EVER have been in my life.. this lotion really works.. just make sure u apply a good amount and get it on even.

If your an indoor tanner this you need. Its one of the best lotions, and I worked in the industry for years!! This price is unbelievable, and even with my discount from where I work, this is way cheaper. Snap it up, you will love it. Not that after burn feeling, and smells great. Im not nervous leaving the salon after tanning about how bad I smell, even had someone ask what body spray I had on it smelled so good, and when I told her it was tan lotion, and I had just tanned, she needed to know what I used, since her lotion was a bad smelling one, just like the box full I have which I will never use!! Get this, I got a couple right away!! Also the 50x which is super cheap right now. You cant go wrong with either!

I've used this product 4-5 times and it works great! My tan seems to last longer and I got darker quicker then other products. I like the smell and its not sticky like some of the other tanning lotions. Also not to mention, I purchased this on sale w/ free shipping

This lotion works really well and it is also the best smelling one I have ever bought. Smells just like candy. It comes out of the bottle easily, without clogging. I will definitely purchase this again :) - Tanning Lotion - Indoor Tanning - Indoor Tanning Lotions - Bronzers'

Battery Pack - tenergy, nimh

I used these on a HPI Sprint 2 Drift, charged it at 3.8a , took a little over an hour, but maxed out at 4200mAH, i got two, and both ran for 1 hour of solid power drifting, compared to Orion rocket pack, these are good for beginners, cheap, good quality, and good power constant power. 7.2V Tenergy 3800mAh Flat NiMH High Power (38A Drain Rate) Battery Pack with Tamiya connector for RC Cars and Sumo Robots

I left a bad review here earlier, but after trying a different charger, I got the battery to hold a charge. Now it's a screamer. It's just picky about its charger. Great battery for the money as long as you have the right charger hanging around.

I bought this battery as an upgrade and extra for this cool r/c tank I bought my teenager - 1/16 German Tiger Air Soft Rc Battle Tank (Upgrade Version w/ Metal Gear & Tracks).

The battery that this tank comes with is a nickel-cadmium rated for only 1300mAh, so I wanted a better type of battery with over double the runtime of the stock battery, and this was a great deal.

Since this is a nickel-metalhydride (MiMH) type battery, unlike the nickel-cadmium (Ni-CD) battery, it is not subject to the "memory" problem of losing its ability to charge fully if not discharged completely between charges.

This is a huge advantage, since it allows the user to "top off" its charge if only partially discharged.

Also, this type of battery does not self-discharge nearly as quickly as Ni-CD batteries, allowing it to go for around a year or so without losing more than about 10%-15% of its charge over that time.

Where before we were only getting around 30-45 minutes runtime out of the stock battery with the r/c tank, we now get somewhere around 90+ minutes, although we have run it longer than an even 90, so it might even make it up to a full two hours.

Impressive performance right there, and at just $21 (with free shipping if you add another $4 to your total), it's a great way to get more out of your 7.2v toys.

I also bought this nice smart charger for it - Tenergy Smart Universal Charger for NiMH / NiCd Battery pack 7.2V - 12V with charging current Selection/Temperature Sensor.

As long as you use this type of charger properly, you will not overcharge your Ni-CD or Ni-MH batteries.

Highly recommended.

Great battery for the money. Bought for an R/C Tiger I tank 1/16 scale on a recommendation from another review that was posted. Was a good decision since it gave a much longer run time. Purchased battery with the following:

Tenergy Smart Universal Charger for NiMH / NiCd Battery pack 7.2V - 12V with charging current Selection/Temperature Sensor]

I am fairly new to the whole RC world, and coming into it, I have heard about how long you have to charge the batteries for RC cars, and how little time you get to actually use the vehicle. In anticipation of this, I purchased three of these batteries, figuring that this would be enough. I would get to use one battery, and be able to charge the other two, always having at least one fully charged battery in in the wings. Well, I have to say I am very impressed with the length of time I am getting to use my car with these batteries. Anywhere between 20 minutes to half an hour of use before having to replace it. Obviously a lot of this has to do with the charger you are using, and the type of motor in the vehicle. But that all being said, I do recognize the hold time of these batteries, and would definitely buy them again.

i purchased this for my HPI mini trophy RC truck. It's all stock. I've only run it through 1 full pack and I'm pretty impressed. the power is very constant. When it starts to trail off then it's very very near it's end of life. It lasts at least 20-30min of continuous play, maybe more. I'll be ordering another one as a backup for myself. I haven't tested it's drain rate yet. it would be interesting to see how well it plays after 2 or so weeks of sitting. I also purchased on amazon b/c it's the cheapest I could find a 3800mah battery.

I adapted this battery pack to work on my Yokogawa H10X Top Gun freon leak detector. The original battery was a proprietary pack made specifically for the detector by Yokogawa and was discontinued years ago.

Since this Tenergy pack is considerably larger than the Yokogawa pack and would not fit inside the handle,...I opened up the original bad battery pack and located the + and - terminals,..discarded the bad batterys then ran a Tamiya RC car MALE battery connector's wires through the empty Yokogawa plastic battery holder and soldered them to their respective positive + and negative - terminals on the plastic battery holder, then plugged the empty pack back into the the leak detector and ran the connector out the bottom where it is hooked to the female connector on the Tenergy battery pack. I then zip tiedthe Tenergy pack to the side of the Yokogawa leak detector's handle. It now works as intended and should have DRAMATICALLY longer run times between between chargings as compared to the original weak suck Yokogawa battery pack. Saved me the cost of a new leak detector too. - Battery Pack - Tenergy - Nimh - Rc Car'

Router Bit Sets - rotary tool accessories, dremel

Most of these work really well with the router table accessory. I have noticed that cutting slots you need to do them starting out at a low cut depth and gradually raise it and swipe your work again. Other than that, the only other thing is that these don't have a bearing guides, just a flat top if it applies to the type of bit. They still work though, just don't rush the job. Dremel 692 6-Piece Router Bit Set

I use these router bits and the two styles of routers for building minuature wild west buildings and doll house furnitureWith these bits I can make very percise cuts and with the finished product I've sold them for as much as 250-300 dollars each. My only regret is that dremel would make some other types of router bits just like the big boys.

These bits have worked out very well. I've put them through a tough test too. I was working with some 1/4" and 3/8 " ply wood. I was amazed how well they worked. Anybody who has used a power tool will tell you that hard woods and plywood are tough on blades and bits. Thumbs up Dremel

This router bit set is a great addition to any woodworker's Dremel tool. We all know that the Dremel is a great tool to have around for dozens of tasks that you never imagined using it for. I bought my Dremel because I had built some drawers for a chest of drawers and forgotten to route the dado for the drawer bottoms into the drawer fronts of four of the drawers before I glued them together. I was able to use my router to get cut most of the dado, but I needed the dremel to get the last 2" by the edge that my router couldn't reach. These bits and the little Dremel worked perfectly.

I recommend the router bit set as an accessory to your Dremel for small tasks where your full size router won't fit. The bits attach right to the collet of your Dremel tool, so you don't need any other attachments to do freehand routing.

I was surprised at how well these work if you have small projects and do not want to but a router get these they work well and are well designed. The shipping was on time. I only wish they would make more bits

I love these router bits. Combined with my use of the Dremel router/shaper table, these bits make precise and consistent cuts. I use these for a very specific project, and I'm fortunate that a couple of the bits in the set are just the size I need. However, I'd like to see more bit types and sizes for added routing flexibility.

This is a nice little set that includes several of the most common profiles that one would use. It is also quite a good value. The cost of the set on Amazon is roughly what one would pay for 2 of the bits at retail. If you want a good assortment, or just need more than one of these profiles, I would recommend this set.

Dremel has a tendency to make bits for their power tools that are of a proprietary size. Fortunately, they do have a nice, reasonably priced, and fairly broad selection of bits. I like this 6-piece router bit set, which has seen me through several projects. I recommend it.

Drip Coffee Machines - replacement carafe, mr coffee

Great coffee is made with this machine, and the value is great also. The carafe that comes with the unit sucks. When you go to pour coffee you will find that it dripples all over your counter. The carafe needs a longer pouring spout. Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Carafe - Black

My Mr. Coffee coffeemaker is sturdy, works well, and makes fine coffee.

But the 12-cup decanter proved overly fragile. I broke it swabbing the inside with a dish brush.

I'd be glad to pay more for a decanter with thicker, sturdier glass.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

One other criticism: The spout on the decanter is too short, which increases the likelihood of spills.

I can not believe that a company as large as Mr. Coffee can sell such junk. Impossible to pour a cup without spilling. A Bunn carafe will pour many cups while this one dribbles all over the counter. Specifically, this is the original carafe that came with the coffee maker in black.

The original carafe on my Mr. Coffee coffeemaker dribbled. When it broke, I looked for a new carafe on Amazon. Reading the reviews, it seems there's some discrepancy as to whether replacement carafes have been redesigned so they don't dribble. Since my need was immediate, I purchased it at Bed Bath & Beyond. It did NOT dribble, so I tried to find out exactly how to identify a good one from a bad one.

I'm publishing this on the PLD12-1 model because it's the most likely to be viewed. I'm rating it in the middle because this is information about both models.

On AMAZON, I found two models of Mr. Coffee 12-cup replacement carafes. (I am only looking at the item in black.)

PLD12-1 ($11.46 + super saver shipping) ASIN B000BH96DO

PLD12-2 ($20.07 + free shipping, other merchant) ASIN B006HLJEI

BED, BATH, & BEYOND The box was only labeled PLD12 (without a suffix). UPC: 0 72179 22692 5 $14.99

WALMART -same box, same UPC as BB&B $11.46

MR. COFFEE WEBSITE - sells only PLD12-2 (or PLD13-2 in white) $15.99 + shipping

I called the toll free number 800-MR-COFFEE (800-672-6333) printed on the box. The sales rep said the PLD12-2 was the newer model, but denied that it was a redesign or that there was any problem with the older one. He also could not (or would not) tell me whether the UPC on the Bed Bath & Beyond box would indicate which model it was.

IN CONCLUSION:

1. I can't definitively prove the PLD12-1 is a bad design.

2. The manufacturer is pushing the later model PLD12-2 without admitting guilt.

3. Walmart is the cheapest place to get one that works.

** UPDATE August 9, 2011 **

I found a website with a 2005 list showing PLD12-1 with UPC 0 72179 22692 5 (older product, but with current UPC).

[...]

This shoots down the theory that there is a correlation between the UPC on the box and the model of the carafe inside. It looks like the boxes were never updated and getting a good carafe may be just a matter of purchasing from a retailer that has newer stock.

This is an "Ok" coffee decanter because it can break easily. I love the Mr. Coffee machine I have so I bought a replacement when the original decanter broke. Just handle with care. Doesn't deserve more than 3 stars.

I was ready to trash my Mr. Coffee machine because the original carafe dribbled onto the counter each time it poured. When the carafe broke in the dishwasher, I ordered the replacement because it was a lot cheaper than a whole new machine of a different brand. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had redesigned the spout on the replacement so that it does not dribble. It still feels like it could break easily in the dishwasher, so I clean it by hand now.

This decanter breaks easily which is why I needed to replace it. This is the exact replacement but I wanted a stainless steel one but couldn't find one for this Coffee maker model. This decanter is made with very thin glass. Buy a couple of them if you drink coffee regularly.

It is just like the one that came with it though.

I bought this because the original pot broke in the dishwasher. I have to say I was disappointed that the lip of the pot broke off so easily. It was in the top rack of the dishwasher. The other problem I had was the fact that I only paid 14.00 for the whole coffee maker. The price of the replacement pot was nearly as much as the cost to replace the whole unit.

I have an MR series red coffee maker by Mr. Coffee. I cannot find the coffee maker for sale anymore and it wasn't clear from the Product Description whether this carafe was the right replacement for my original. It IS, and my lovely red coffee maker is back in business. Yes, it dribbles...I have never had a coffee carafe that didn't, to be honest! So for about $10 I'm happy to have my morning coffee again!! - Coffeemaker - Replacement Carafe - Programmable - Mr Coffee'

Valentines Day Gift - adorable, pillowcases

My GF and I are in a long distance relationship.....so when I gave her these pillow covers over Christmas, she just melted :) They are a very nice gift and very sentimental. Good thing my GF and I will soon be together in the same State :) and won't have to rely on just the phone! BoldLoft "Say I Love You" Couple Pillowcases-Romantic Valentines Gifts for Couples, Cute Valentines Day Gift Ideas, Good Couple Gifts for Valentines, Romantic Anniversary Gifts

My husband has been working out of state for over 4 months. He mentioned how much he missed his pillow; so when he came home for Christmas it was one of his gifts. I thought it was a fun way to stay connected. I originally thought it was a bit pricy for pillow cases, but when I received them in a cool box with a love message and felt the quality of the fabric, I was sold. They are not cheap fabric material and they are very soft. Now we have shared that when we go to bed eventhough we are still apart, it reminds us of each other and they put a smile on our face.

I bought this gift as a present for my girlfriend. I really liked the art on these pillows and it was especially fitting since we are in a long distance relationship with me at college, and her back at home. The product came really well packaged in a nice box and the pillow cases folded nicely inside. They also seem quite soft despite having screen printing on them. Plus, my girlfriend loved them!

Its good. I mean it's a pillow-case so I don't know what you should expect but here are my two cents.

It survived the wash, and kept its colors. Comfy material made it easy on my skin and my girlfriend and I enjoy them. She especially loved it as a gift for our anniversary.

I bought these for my husbands cousin's fiancee. They're an off beat couple who enjoy humor so I thought these would be perfect. They arrived fast and in a neat box which will make wrapping easier. I'm sure they will love them I do!!

I got these for my girlfriend as a part of her valentines day gift and she loved them. It was great to see her open the package, pull them out, and the lightbulb go off when she realized what image the two formed when placed together. These come in multiple different varieties and therefore give the buyer that perfect fit for what he/she needs for the perfect gift. I would've liked to have seen them at a lower price but we all know that when it comes to love, money isn't the first priority.

I found these pillow cases on a whim, looking for something unusual and different for my husband for Valentine's Day. What a treat! The package is sexy and sophisticated. The pillow cases well constructed and just as described. AND he loved them! Or said he did!!! Either way, it was a fun gift and one I recommend for someone looking for a cute and special gift for their loved one.

I gave these to my brother and his wife for christmas, they both travel for work and don't get to be around each other a lot. I thought this would help when they were missing each other. They loved them!!!!!! very original idea and thoughtful too. they were made of quality material and came packaged very nicely, making it an easy wrap for christmas! they were a huge hit!!!!!! - Couple - Pillowcases - Cute - Adorable'
