Rechargeable Lithium Ion - toshiba, lithium

Charges quickly, lasts a long time, fairly light. Do yourself a favor and run the battery down instead of leaving the laptop plugged in all of the time. These batteries only last 12-16 months with any moderate capacity, and will last longer if you don't keep them fully charged 100% of the time. Toshiba PA3399U-2BRS Primary 6 Cell Li-Ion Battery

I was pleasantly surprised as to how long the battery charge lasted. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit OS and with my wireless turned off and the display brightness down on my Satellite A105, the battery will last 3+ hours. If you are looking for a good replacement for your Toshiba battery pack, I recommend you stick to this factory replacement. Hope this helps inform your decision a little better. Good luck.

Didn't trust generic batteries when my Laptop is involved...too many reported fires. Replacement battery works as expected from Toshiba.

Laptop is mobile only 25% of usage time, so we will purge the battery at least monthly to ensure longer lifespan.

Went back with the original battery, and not leaving my laptop plugged in all the time seems to make the battery last longer. Will go over 2hrs. on a charge. Good product, and fast shipping as always from Amazon.

It's specificic spare part. Information from dealer was accurate (Toshiba Battery PA3399U-2BRS 6 Cel Li-Ion, 4000 mAh, 10,8V). Perhaps 3 different photos attached give 100% information in order to be sure. Price was lower as retail form toshiba, but its possible get 10% off from other dealer. Delivery time was exact as offer.

When I searched the web for a battery for my Toshiba, I used the part number and got a lot of options. Of course I was looking for a good price but then I realized many places offered batteries "for Toshiba" (generic) and not Toshiba batteries. By now I`m sure everyone knows the dangers people report on generics. So I tried to look for the word "original" and only a few places mentioned then yet the image clearly contradicted this statement. Although the price at amazon wasn`t the cheapest I decided it was a safer option considering my previous good experiences with amazon and the fact that it is such a well known webpage. I found several options (I think it also had generics) but they were clearly shown. For an instant, before cliking on the buy option, I doubted the product would actually be original because the price was so good (less than some obvious generics) but I decided that if it turned out to be a generic amazon would have probably gotten the best possible one. ... Turns out it was original and at a cheaper price than some generics!!! It's running as expected (My Toshiba isn't exactly a hit on battery life) but I'm happy I bought it at Amazon.com. It's trustworthy.

Perhaps there is one observation that I would like to make on the price options (though I'm not sure how or why it works that way). When I first looked in the comparison mode, the option I decided to go with had a real low price (extra low) but since I doubted it could actualy be original with that price, I looked around a little more and when I returned to the page to go ahead with my initial option the price had changed!!! it was still cheaper that others but not as cheap as my first look. ??? I tried retuning to the page the same way I had done the first time and on my third return it was even more expensive! .... what the!...so I decided to click quicly before it went even higher!... it still turned out to be cheaper, just not as cheap....Amazon? can you tell me what happened?...anyway, Buying at amazon is always easier and they have great deals.

I purchased in August. It's now January and the battery regularly becomes so hot I burn myself on the tip (that you insert into the laptop) sometimes and am generally worried it will start a fire. I only have it plugged in while I'm watching it. I avoided generic batteries for just this reason!

Will be seeking warranty exchange through Toshiba. - Rechargeable Lithium Ion - Toshiba - Lithium - Satellite'

Network Cable - ethernet cables, cat6

I ordered a number of these to do online seminars over a T1 connection. They are well made - sturdy, easy to insert and remove - better than any of the yellow cords I've purchased previously. Great deal. RiteAV - Cat6 Network Ethernet Cable - Blue - 3 ft.

I bought several of these cable. They arrived promptly but I have found that if the are nudged or pulled of you move the computer they pull back some and loose the connection. They stayed plugged in but move out just enough to disconnect from the network. It makes working connected to the wired network unpredictable and hard to troubleshoot.

These cables are a bear to remove from the data port, and I've already had one that "lost" its Cat6 capability. One day is was chugging along at gigabit speeds, the next day, megabit. and it's been that way ever since. Glad I didn't pay much for them. - Ethernet Cables - Cat6 - Cat 6 - Network Cable'

Prismacolor - prismacolor, art supplies

Easily blended, brilliantly colored, well crafted pencils. Good for any type of work. Very waxy; if you are heavy-handed, watch out for blooming. They are a little too soft for precision work; buy a few Verithin. Sanford Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set, 48/Tin

I have been doing illustration work for my personal enjoyment since the 1980s, and I have been using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils for nearly 15 years. This 48-pencil set was the one I started with, and it served me well. After using these pencils for a while I soon found that I wanted to expand my horizons and I invested in the 120 pencil set. Now you have the option of 72, 120, or 130+ pencil set. Enjoy!

I have to tell you that these pencils are a pleasure to work with. I use them mainly for doing biological and scientific illustration, but I use them for other things as well. I was introduced to them by a professional biological illustrator who's guidance was, use only the best. Of the colored pencils I've used over the years, these are the best I've found.

Prismacolor Premier colored pencils have a soft lead, so soft that you need to tread lightly as you apply them, or the lead is easily broken. On the other hand, the soft lead makes these colors much easier to blend once they are on the paper, and allow you to put down your colors layer by layer and produce the effects you are after.

I find that for my work a good companion investment for these colored pencils is an electric pencil sharpener, because a sharp lead allows you to put the color down onto paper with greater precision, and gives better results.

I have used these pencils on a variety of surfaces ranging from drafting velum to mat board to Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Board Pads - 14 x 17, Bristol Pad, 20 sheets, Vellum, and Canson Mitientes 122 Flannel Gray - 19x25 Inch Sheet which comes in many colors, as well as hot press and cold press board, 300 lb. water color paper, and a variety of other art boards. Of course, colored pencil works best on a surface that has at least a moderate tooth (paper surface roughness), because once the tooth is filled with lead it is extremely difficult to put down more color.

Word of warning: Make sure that you handle these pencils carefully, because if you drop them on a hard floor the lead can break inside of the pencil, ruining it.

5 stars all the way! You will enjoy these pencils as long as you realize that you can't power them onto the paper, and that the lead will wear down quickly because they are so soft. Enjoy!

Everyone who has used these pencils, and even those who research them, will know that the soft cores are prone to breakage usually from handling.

1) Check your packaging!

This item was sent to me by Amazon in a box that allowed too much movement inside, and packing

material only on the bottom.

2) Check your pencils!

I found that 2 of the pencils were not from the set I ordered. They had different foil stamps

and a few pencils were shorter ( which means they were Used).

Make sure you get what you ordered, (I didn't get any Artstix in my package) It's not a debate about the usability of Artstix --just give me what I paid for!

All in all, I felt like someone was trying to pull a fast one at my convenience. At least I only have to wait another week (even though I am a Prime member) and hopefully will get the right item packaged and shipped correctly, new and unused.

These are very nice colored pencils. Of course with Amazon they came very quickly and were undamaged. I rated these as as 4 only because I find them to be a little too soft and smear or blend too easily. I am not a professional though, I only bought these to color coloring books and do some basic drawing with so the softness of the pencils maybe something that is sought after. I would say if you want pencils for detailed work and/or that do not smear easily to buy the Verithin line from Prismacolor as it is a harder core. I think I will end up going through these pencils faster than I would have hoped given the cost of them because of their softness.

These are great pencils. I would purchase them again but not thru Amazon. The product title and review stated Sanford Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set 48/Tin with Two Bonus Artstix. The item came without the two Artstix. I contacted the seller and never got a reply. They also didn't look uniform. They still work great though. I would just pay the extra and buy them from an art supply store.

Packaging different (the reason I bought this was because I thought it had different art from the one w/ the orange lady), no art stix or metal sharpener. Pencils look used and out of place. NOT happy. I have seen other reviews w/ the same problems: but I thought since it happened once, it wouldn't happen again.

Still, great pencils though.

I got the pencils on time, and compared the horror I went through ordering a different set of pencils, this was easy. However...

1) There were no "bonus artstixs" in the package.

2) Package allowed for way too much movement and breakage.

3) All of the pencils were sharpened and as much as half an inch was missing from the pencils. (2 pencil tips were broken off from what looked like the sharpening)

4) They looked used! There were small dents and tiny scratches in all of the pencils, whether this is from someone using or "testing" them or package movement, I'm not sure.

All in all still great pencils, still work, but it's extremely disappointing to have to deal with such low quality from amazon. - Art Products - Prismacolor - Art Supplies - Pencils'

0 9 Mm - mechanical pencils, pencil

The colors are great. Never jammed for me. The eraser can be removed to add more lead. I have a few in my school bag, some next to the computer and the rest in drawers. I don't scramble for pens anymore. These are awesome. BIC Mechanical Pencil with Colorful Barrels, Thick Point (0.9 mm), 24 Pencils

It is soo hard to find pencils with a 0.9 mm lead. I HATE 0.7mmm lead because it breaks a lot! These are the best mechanical pencils I have ever had. I have even shared 1/2 of my order with my granddaughter in North Carolina...she is 1q2 years-old also LOVES the lead quality for her search a word puzzles! Thank you for offering them to your customers! Marilyn from Rhode Island

I've used these mechanical pencils off and on for more than a year, and I write rather hard compared to most people. 0.9mm lead is the smallest lead tough enough to withstand the force of my writing without repeated breakage, but there is one downside to these pencils that leads me to only buy them in a pinch.

After some time writing, graphite seems to lubricate the mechanism holding the lead. Trying to write becomes much more difficult. The lead pushes back into the pencil, becoming equally if not more annoying as repeated breakages.

My experience has been the same for more than a year. The pencils start out wonderful, but become very hard to use before half the lead is spent. Lighter writers may not experience the same issues.

I am so glad that we found these 0.9mm pencils for my 6 year old son. He loves to draw and hates to sharpen pencils. We tried 0.5mm & 0.7mm mechanical pencils and their leads are just too weak or they poke through the paper. This 0.9mm lead is the perfect width for my budding artist. To make it more fun for my son, we also got the squishy grip and the monkey eraser heads. I highly recommend it!

I have been looking for inexpensive mechanical pens that has thicker leads primarily for use by my kids. Most mechanical pencils are 0.5mm and 0.7mm thick which are too thin, they usually poke a hole on the paper. These are closer to the wooden pencils that they usually use everyday. My kids love to open the sharpener compartment to look how much shaves they make. They throw it to the trash but they make a lot of mess. And for 24 pcs, it is a 5-star value.

They have white eraser on the opposite tip and equipped with a pocket clip. Assorted colors. - Bic - Pencil - Mechanical Pencils - Bic Mechanical Pencils'

Cell Phone Holder - android, mount

I purchased this for my Droid X. The X fits allowing access to the usb port for charging. The camera sits above the mount so you can use it to shoot video while driving. The only negative comment I have with this product is the vent mount. In both of my vehicles (Taurus and Siena), the clips really don't hold all that well allowing the whole mount to move with the additional weight of the Droid. Further, trying to use the phone requires holding it steady first. A quick and easy solution was to add a small piece of rubber tubing to each plastic clip. I picked this up at Ace for < .50. The vent mount is now rock solid, like the windshield mount.

I prefer the vent mount as the Droid X has an issue with heat. This keeps the phone out of the window and allows the AC to blow across it when on. Arkon SM410 Universal Windshield with Dashboard and Vent Mount for Smartphones and PDAs - Mount - Bulk Packaging - Black

With the large screen of the Evo, I finally ditched my Garmin, and I'm using my phone as a GPS. This mount is perfect for the phone. You can adjust the bottom supports so they don't get in the way of the charge port. Also, the side arms hold the phone securely without getting in the way of the volume rocker.

The build quality of this mount is very impressive for the price! The plastic feels solid, not flimsy, and the suction cup is stronger and larger than the one that came with my Garmin. I was concerned about this, as I didn't want to risk my new phone in something that wouldn't hold it right. But after trying it out, I'm very pleased with how snugly the mount grips the phone. It's not going anywhere.

I like this mount so much that I came back to order one for my other car (only to find that they're now back-ordered).

One thing -- the vent mount doesn't hold very tight on my car, so that I don't feel comfortable using it. Maybe it's my particular type of vent (it's an old, old car), or maybe I'm not installing it right. However, the windshield mount is excellent.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I use this product to hold my HTC Incredible to my vent mount while I use it as a GPS and Music Player (via FM Transmitter). Arms holds the Phone snugly so it will not move or fall out, the location of the charging cable and headphone jack are not interfered with by the mount. The vent mount swivels nicely to allow for a good viewing angle while attached to either the driver's side or passenger's side central vents of my cars.

I have not tried the windshield mount.

I guess my GPS vent mount is from the same company because the mounts are compatible and I now I don't have to detach the vent piece when swapping between using my car and my wife's car.

This mount works great for the iphone 4 and more than likley any smartphone or pda. It is very solid plastic. Can have it dash mounted and then change window mount any time you wish. Can turn phone to landscape view by just turning while in the mount. Doesnt bounce to much while driving. Very solid mount. Great purchase for me. Love it.

I haven't had much success with car mounts for either the HTC Hero or Droid Incredible, but the Arkon has been the best I've tried so far and is inexpensive compared to others. I've used it in both a Honda CR-V and Toyota Yaris.

Pros:

- The windshield clamp is secure and doesn't fall off, and the cradle also holds the phone safely.

- Inserting and removing the phone is very easy, which is important since you'll be doing that quite often!

- The mount is very flexible, and can be set in a wide range of positions (it can also hold the phone either vertically or horizontally).

- It's very simple to install, though be aware that there's only one windshield adhesive so you can't use the windshield mount in more than one car.

- The vent mount works flawlessly in the CR-V, and seems most suited to vents with thin plastic bars that are fixed.

Cons:

- Conversely, the vent mount doesn't work in every vehicle. It won't fit on any vent in the Yaris at all.

- The windshield clamp can be tricky to attach (you have to make sure you create enough of a vacuum).

Overall, so far so good - I can finally use my phone as a navigation unit while it's charging in the car. Note that there are no power cables or FM transmitters included.

I was extremely surprised at the quality of this product when it arrived today. It is made out of quality material and all the accessories are well made. This unit is completely adjustable and functions well. It is compatible with the Droid Incredible. The housing does not block the charge or audio ports and it will hold the phone in landscape position. Great product and great buy.

This mount is perfect for the sprint evo 4g. It fits phone with all ports exposed. The mount is of high quality and works just as advertised. The window suction is very strong with plenty of mounting angle options. If you have horizontal air vents I am sure that mount would work fine but I do not so I did not try the air vent mount. I have a seidio active case and have plenty of room left in the mounts mega grip system.

Okay, so if you don't know how to use this product properly, you probably shouldnt have bought it (i'm talking about the other reviews. the package comes with the windshield mount (suction cup), a vent mount (clips), and a dash mount (sticky pad). all of the mounts work with the included holding piece. i'll review each piece separately. i read a review on here before i bought that the suction cup doesnt stay at all. whoever wrote that review is straight up inept. you have to pull the lever behind the suction cup to induce suction. after the lever is pulled, the cup stays VERY firmly. you cant pull it off unless you release the lever. i never used the dashboard mount because i dont have the real estate on my dashboard to place it.

the vent mount is the only relatively week point in this product. the clips seem flimsy (but havent broken yet) and the whole mount is hard to keep steady ( i guess thats what you get for it being universal). when i say hard to keep steady i mean the leg of the mount that is supposed to push the mount up from a spot under the vent isnt too sturdy and moves around alot. the vent is STILL adjustable depending on where you place the mount. im sure moving it around a few inches to find the sweet spot isnt that big of a deal. on the bright side, the mount stays upright and is cooled by the air conditioner. WARNING: if you care about the electronics you place in this mount, dont turn the heat on when using the vent mount. the holding piece works perfectly. the plasting holding "rails" if thats what you want to call them are adjustable on the bottom of the mount, so that you can move them around according to where a charging or headphone jack is on your product. if thats not enough for you, then you can turn it upside down and the bottom of your product will be completely open.

the one thing that i have a problem with is the clips on the sides of the holding piece. when i use my ipod touch on it, they interfere with the volume buttons, but it doesnt take much tweaking to fix that. the clamps hold extremely tight and are very adjustable. they are also padded, which makes the grip extra tight. now while i review the holding piece, i'll review the connection between the piece and the mounts. its great. its slides on very tightly, but sometimes the holding piece is a little tough to get off the mounts ( i guess thats a good thing, so they wont slide off on their own) the mounts hook up with the holding piece with sort of a ball joint, soyou can rotate your product pretty much every direction but backwards (including upside down). i absolutely love how it swivels. i purchased this product for my Droid X to use the gps on a trip to chicago from des moines, ia. it held perfectly throughout the 8 hour drive, worked with the charger and the headphone jack, and cooled with the air conditioning. when i decided to give my phone a break, my friend put his sprint evo 4g in and it worked perfectly with that also. the swivel allowed the driver and the passenger to both use it pretty easily. i used the vent mount for most of the way, because it was too sunny to use the windshield mount.

the windshield mount is the most sturdy piece of this product so im confident that if i need to use it it will be alright. none of the pieces deteriorated when i parked in the sun, and the clamp stayed tight and didnt break even though i released it way more often than i should. i still use this product every day with my ipod to and from work. its a great product and a great deal. so i hope you're happy that you just read probably one of the only legit reviews on here. someone needs to tell the truth. i hope this counts as a verified user review. my ratings follow

adjustability: 5 stars

layout: 5 stars

quality: 3 stars (its made out of really cheap plastic, but it hasnt broken at all even though ive beaten it up a little and it holds steady and shows no signs of wear)

Metal Connector - f21pl, framing nailers

I am a professional carpenter in California, where extensive use of metal framing connectors is standard practice in both commercial and residential construction. This nailer proved to be worth it's cost purely in time savings. When the cost (to a customer) for a carpenter is roughly $70/hour, time IS money. The nail gun drives one nail only when the nail tip is placed in a hole in a connector, making for accurate framing. The reliability of Hitachi tools is well known, so don't worry about that. The only drawbacks are that it will not fire all nails in the nail strip (jamming reducer), and that it doesn't always drive nails full depth into engineered lumber (heavy beams), although this is more likely a function of the compressor. Hitachi NR65AK Round Head 1-1/2-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Positive Placement Nailer

A VERY LIGHT AND EASY TO USE TOOL, OUR COMPANY HAS 6 OF THESE GUNS AND FIND THEM WORTH HAVING. YOU CAN ALSO SHOOT PASLODE FASTNERS IF THE HITACHI NAIL IS HARD TO FIND IN YOUR AREA. THE HITACHI FASTNER DOES WORK BETTER DUE TO THE STRONGER PAPER STRIP.THE GUN IS LIGHT AND FITS IN TIGHT AREAS, UNLIKE THE PASLODE AND SENCO POSITIVE PLACEMENT GUNS. THE GUN CAN ALSO BE FITTED WITH A SAW HOOK AT THE BACK OF THE MAGAZINE.

This gun is a great investment if you do any framing on the west coast. It paid for itself in time saved on the first 2 story adition I did. For example: we counted 80 nails needed for Simpson hardware PER TRUSS in the new roof. That is a whole day of using a palm nailer- done in an hour with this gun. It has the power to shoot 2 1/2 inch nails into a paralam beam (Almost all the time) and has very little recoil. It loads easily, and my local lumber yard carries the proper nails. My only complaints are that it is very loud (but no more so than a palm nailer) and won't always fit in tight spaces for hardware like A35s.

Hitachi used to make great tools. Sadly, I find they are going down hill across the board, which is really disappointing.

When this worked for me, it was great, as per the other reviews. But it started malfunctioning, and the seals died, after about 2 years of light use. First gun I've had this happen with - on the other hand my Hitachi framing nailer (probably the best one ever built) has lasted through a decade with no problem.

I'm not sure if my problem was a one off. I'm sure it is something that never would have happened to Hitachi in the past, and meets with the talk out there that hitachi is going down hill. sad.

I called Toolcrib on 12/21 to order and was told they have no info on nails for this tool. How can they expect to sell the gun if they cannot supply bullets? They advised me to call Hitachi for a source. Pls advise me why nails are not on the net or in the Toolcrib catalog.RegardsJohn Brauer - Nail Gun - Bostitch - Framing Nailers - F21pl'

10 Minute Trainer - exercise, exercise bands

This is a quality product. The customer support is excellent. Replies to my email have been fast and courteous. 1 defective band was replaced immediately.

The set is just as promised. the bands are sturdy and have nice metal clips. The only thing that could be improved is the "door attachment" it works fine at the top and side of the door, but easily slipped through the bottom of a door when there is a carpet. There is a web site with exercises that is oddly not mentioned anywhere, but you can find the videos on You Tube. It's the best bang for the buck. Aylio Basic Resistance Bands Exercise Set

I can't recommend these bands. The yellow band broke the first time I used it. Not the band itself. The clasps at the ends are poorly attached. The band is sandwiched at the ends between a stitched piece of fabric. As soon as the stitches come loose, the end falls off. In the bag is a disclaimer. If you pull too hard on these bands, they may break. What's too hard? I bought these for the P90x workout. They didn't hold up. I agree with other reviewers that the tension is too light as well.

Added Note: Shortly, after I wrote this review the company contacted me and really wanted to make me happy. I think they're customer service is great. Unfortunately it doesn't make the bands work better. Hopefully they'll redesign.

I ordered these bands to be use for the P90X fitness system. The bands are just as promised by the seller, they are good high quality resistance bands with all the needed attachments and allow you to quickly and easily transition from one exercise to the next (possibly even quicker than with an actual weight gym.) I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn't think that fitness bands could provide a good workout - boy was I wrong. By grouping the bands together you can increase the weight resistance to a very high level and provide a nice fluid resistance training session. It also helps to make sure your weaker set of muscles train to catch up to your stonger side. Also, the service from the seller was exceptional, they got these out to me right away, even with the free shipping, and did a follow up email. I highly recommend these bands for anyone looking for a good home workout with limited space and a limited budget!

N Toups

These bands are decent. The first time I used them, the yellow one popped out of the handle. I tried to see about exchanging just the yellow one, but was told I would have to send in the whole set for a refund, and then order a new set. That would take too long and I'm in a workout program where I need them pretty much daily. I've used them for a while since and have had no problems, but on maneuvers where I am stretching it a long way, I don't use the handle, I just grab the band right below where it meets the handle. They give a decent workout and are a much cheaper alternative to buying a huge set of dumbells.

I ordered these bands because of the great price. When I revived them I was really impressed with the quality. These bands were a great price and also one of the best I've seen. Great for P90x videos as well. Buy a set and see for yourself, you won't be let down!

I bought these bands and they are just okay. Supposedly they give you up to 50 pounds of resistance when used together. I was able to do a bicep curl with all of them, and believe me, I'm no body builder. The bands seem more fitted for women who want to tone and lose weight. I don't want to be muscular but lean and well built. These bands did not offer the type of resistance I was hoping for. I am now with Bodylastics bands, which are the best. Hope I was helpful!

I was looking for resistance bands and found this product to be perfect. The price is less than the competitors and it is of the same quality. I am able vary the resistance with ease to get the maximum benefit from all my excersizes and would highly reccomend this product. I also use these bands (instead od the ones sphipping with the product) with the EA Sports Active for the Wii and have found that to be a much better workout.

Fast delivery. Bands are of the highest quality. They are very effective yet durable. I've tried many different companies for exercise bands in the past but have never been as pleased as I am with this set. Highly recommended!!! - P90x - Exercise Bands - Exercise - Fitness'

Believe It When I Finally See It - believe it when i finally see it, pc game

To quote Duke Nukem from this actual game... "FAIL TO THE KING, BABY"

Now I could nit pick about how bad this is... But I think other reviewers will get that just fine as I am not the only one that has been MAJORLY disappointed by this game. SO this will be MY personal single player experience with this... Turd of a game.

Some of the Duke Nukem humor and such is there but nothing I really haven't heard before. They really should have asked Bruce Campbell for some new quotes since it looked like the writers couldn't think of much of their own.

I don't know why people are complaining about graphics... Why would you only play a game for the graphics? The load times for me were around 15 to 20 seconds... So get better computers then. If sitting still for under a minute makes you fly into an uncontrollable rage fit then you need some professional help.

One of the FIRST things I noticed, in comparison to the other 3D Nukem games is that there are NO SECRET AREAS or end level Nukem buttons like Duke 3D, Zero hour, and Time to Kill. This actually pissed me off the most as one of the things I liked most in the Duke Nukem games was getting to explore the levels and find hidden bad guys and secret areas and buttons that do random things and reveal special areas... It gave it this little thing that current developers seem to forget about called RE-PLAYABILITY!!!!!!... "Unf unf unf unf Where is it!?!" But there is none of that in this game! You can only carry TWO weapons! No jet pack! The path you take is pretty much standard SUPER LINEAR C.O.D. and Bulletstorm knockoff with bits of Prey and Half Life 2 thrown in... In fact, my friend was watching me play and kept thinking I was playing a Half Life 2 mod.

There was really nothing new added in terms of bad guys or guns. The A.I.... Oh damn the A.I. is absolutely HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE! BEYOND BAD! At one point I saw some, now shirtless, pig cops and then backpedaled into a room with huge open double doors, and in the other room they just kept shooting and throwing pipe bombs at the wall. I let the game run for 30 minutes while I went off to play Duke Nukem Time to Kill on my ps1 (because I needed a healthy dose of good Duke to make up for all the bad Duke) and not a single one came into the room I was standing defenseless in the middle of. I think the developers said something along the lines of "We want the A.I. to feel like the 90s" In all honesty I think that was their way of saying, "We really don't want to put too much effort into making this a good game for a historic gaming series because people will buy it just for the name alone."

The game starts off Duke Nukem enough but then it loses it's nostalgia really quick... It was promising at the first level or two and felt like it would be an OK Duke Nukem game... So if you want to play an OK Duke Nukem game, just play though dukes Casino/Hotel level then sell the game or turn it off or return it to the place you rented it from... It felt like the developers spent more time on the first two or three levels than the rest of the entire game, and just sort of settled for whatever came along after that. If I had wanted to play around in Las Vegas and Hover Dam I would just play Fallout New Vegas instead because this game goes nowhere else! In other Nukem games you would go from Frankenstein Castle, to an alien ship in space, to the Wild West, to an urban area, to a submarine under water, to England, a duke burger, forward and backwards in time, and many other things. This game was the exact opposite and just too predictable, there was no excitement, no anticipation for what may come next.

The most this got out of me was a halfhearted chuckle at a very few moments in the game. It is nothing like the Classic Duke 3D games where I would bust up laughing at something I couldn't believe they got away with showing or doing. Though I think the part I laughed the most in this game was Duke and The glory hole. When you do this part, just jump up and down to see who, namely what gender, is actually in the stall next to you!

Even if this game came out 10 years ago, I would still be rather critical about it because it just doesn't feel Nukem enough. In car terms it would be like Wanting a New Ford Mustang GT and then getting a Rusty Ford Pinto instead.

-No Secret areas.

-limited environment interactivity after first few levels.

-No good Rock and Roll level music.

-Duke doesn't KICK things anymore, he now does the typical weapon butt melee thing.

-A.I. that is so bad it made me twitch.

-No really new content, guns, or bad guys.

-Way too linear and predictable for a Duke Nukem 3D game.

-For over 12 years of development how can they release an under 7 hour game?!?!?

-No end level Nukem Button.

-No jetpack.

-No really good new "one liners."

-Dated Level design and graphics.

-NOT ENOUGH DUKE!! Duke Nukem Forever [Download]

I posted this same review for the BoS edition, which is the one I almost bought, thought I'd repost it here as there are people that just want the game, not the BoS edition.

I had the opportunity to play Duke Nukem Forever before it was released, and I played up to the levels after the "Queen Bitch" level, where you are outside, high up in the air climbing over the alien growth. The only reason I made it that far was because I am a fan of Duke and really wanted to see this through. So when Gearbox finally finished the game and proved all the skeptics wrong, I was stoked!

Unfortunately, after playing, I canceled my preorder for the balls of steel edition. As much as I enjoyed the previous Duke games, even as a fan I can't justify paying $90 for this game. I've also been told by friends and other people that bought the balls of steel edition that the items are underwhelming. A predictable anti climax if you ask me. But I'm not here to review the items, I want to talk about the game. That's the reason you're buying.

This game is worth the budget bin price of $10 - $15, at most. Kudos to Gearbox for just finishing it, and the graphics don't look amazing, but they don't look bad either. They managed to keep the cheesy macho American lines and overall character of Duke, but beyond those three things, I can't really say anything else good about the game.

Let me start off with the weapons. All your favorites from Duke Nukem 3D are in there, but the problem is, they feel like crap. I know the pistol isn't supposed to be powerful, but it doesn't even feel powerful. None of the weapons are really satisfying to use either, save for maybe the shrink ray and the rail gun. Not only that, but you can only carry two at a time. I can't help but think they only put this in here because of the fact it's going to be on consoles. The whole game is a tribute to the old Duke and how FPS games used to be, as in, you played a character that was practically a one man army.

Next, the A.I. is... From the same era as Half-Life 1. Yes that was groundbreaking, but that was also 1999! Enemies run at you or hide behind cover. That's it.

The level design isn't that good either. There isn't anything innovative and you know you're doing something wrong when, in a level where you control a car, you can't find where to go next. There are also moments where enemies will just spawn out of ships and you have to deal with wave after wave of enemies until they go away. This is lame and if I wanted to experience such cheap gameplay I would play Modern Warfare or Black Ops. The bosses are also pretty standard, just the regular shoot until it dies.

What I do like is that they managed to keep the theme of Duke with cheesy jokes and objectification if women. Though a lot of the people who might find this funny are pubeless thirteen year old boys. Of course, if this was released ten years ago, this might be a different story. By todays standards, and by that I mean Half-Life 2, not Bad Company 2, this game is mediocre at best. A tribute to how shooters used to be.

Overall there is some fun to be had, for a few minutes, but after that, I don't feel compelled to finish the game. The multiplayer has your standard modes and there's no co op, which might of made this a little more bearable going through it with a friend.

Gearbox are responsible for Opposing Force (the best expansion ever made) and Borderlands, so I expected the game to be ok, but not amazing. I thought this was reasonable considering how long we've had to wait, but the game failed to meet such low expectations. If they had made it from the ground up it might of been a good game, but that would of meant an even longer wait. Like I said, kudos for finishing it. I, like many other Duke fans will finally cross this one off the bucket list.

I've played all the most relevant, and some obscure or underrated FPS games on PC, but this is down there with the worst of the lot. If you really must play this game now, rent or borrow from a friend, or wait until it goes on budget. It's not worth full price. I'd give this game a 3/10. - Finally - Pc Game - Balls Of Steel - Believe It When I Finally See It'

Video Camera Security System - video camera security system, home security

Bought 5 of these to put up around the house. Looks realistic enough to fool most people. However, not sure what effect it will have in darkness, since it doesn't have a blinking red light. I initially opted to get these because those with blinking lights required frequent changing of batteries & the areas that these were to be mounted presented a problem when changing batteries. I gave it only 3 stars because of poor design by the manufacturer. An electrical wire is mounted on the back of the camera but you have to use your imagination to determine what to do with it. I decided to drill a small hole into the plastic mounting base, stick the wire through that hole, tie a knot on the open end so one couldn't pull it back out of the hole & then mounted it onto the wall. Perhaps the manufacturer could have pre-drilled a hole or even supplied an instructional sheet with suggestions on mounting & placement of this wire to make it look realistic, even to the trained eye. I also bought 3 of these to cover my carport/porch and driveway. They look very realistic. My only suggestion for improvement is something that draws attention to the camera, such as motion activated sound, movement or light. This would require changing batteries, so it's really a trade-off. But, without drawing attention to itself, the camera relies on an intruder seeing it. So, I also bought some signs and stickers.

The other reviewer's comments about hanging it from the ceiling are unfounded. The "camera" housing has mounting holes on top and bottom, so you can choose to mount it standing up or hanging down.

I bought three of these as I needed a dummy cammera for my eaves in the back and front and for the porch ceiling.

If you notice most of the others are meant to be wall or counter mounted. I bought two of the SVAT ISC200 and they can not be ceiling mounted despite the ad saying they can. Sure you can hang them upside down so that the housing that is supposed to protect from the rain is now on the bottom and this makes them look cheesy and fake. I ended up mounting the SVATs on the wall in the garage and using these 3 on the 3 uses above. They look real and for 9.99 each can't beat it. I was wishing that they had a blinking light but later thought about it. Would I really want to climb a ladder to change batteries for the under the eave installations? No so the lack of a red light is fine also. Most burglars are not going to notice a lack of a blinking light on an outdoor camera and even if they do not every camera has a blinking red light.

These "fake" cams are identical in appearance to this company's real cams. No kidding. Check it out yourself - they sell both the real and fake ones here on Amazon.

I honestly think these cams look fake, but if they are identical to the real ones in every aspect of their appearance...well, I gotta give 'em five stars. Afterall, you buy fake ones that you hope look like real ones. That job is accomplished here.

Before you make a decision based on how some of these other "reviewers" are saying "these things look so fake that they wouldn't fool a child" you really ought to look here: [...]

Or Amazon search this if that link does not work: VideoSecu Night Vision Security Camera, with Built in Microphone

Identical! Mix the fakes in with the real ones and no one will ever know which ones are which.

Good quality for the price! It is plastic, and not exactly bullet-proof, but from a couple feet away looks plenty real. I like the loose cord attached to the camera, so you can run it underneath the trim of your house (or anything else) to look like a true hard-wired camera. Mounted easily and can be mounted in almost any position. - Home Security - Security Camera - Infrared Camera - Video Camera Security System'
