Full Size Aluminum Griddle

We were undecided relative to purchasing the full size griddle or its family member the half size. We decided to purchase the full size as we at times camp with our daughters family which includes our two grandchildren and son-in-law for a total of six people.

The griddle works extremely well for our family of six. We were able to fit an entire pound of Oscar Meyer thick sliced bacon on the griddle at once. There was no crowding the slices which allows one to easily tend to the bacon during the cooking process. The slices fit with room to spare, as mentioned there was no crowding and over lapping of the slices.

The grease channel of the griddle is large enough to accommodate the drippings of the entire pound of bacon. However the channel was filled to the upper edge of the rim once we removed all of the bacon from the griddle.

Coleman did not include instructions as how to position the griddle on the RoadTrip grill. Therefore the question is; should one place the grease channel to the front of the grill, or rear? After some fiddling around we noticed the griddle fits the RoadTrip better with the grease channel placed to the rear of the grill.

A word of caution here, place your RoadTrip Grill on aslevel of ground as possible. If not you will have grease possibly running in a direction you would not desire.

Example: the front of your griddle; there is no channel to catch grease build up/run-off therefore it would not take very much to have hot grease running down the front of your grill onto the ground or possible your feet. The front of the griddle only has a very low rim which will not catch any build up or run-off of grease.

Surprisingly cleanup of the griddle is a breeze with just paper towels (plenty of them). We cleaned ours immediately after preparing the bacon so we could use it to cook what turned out to be some of the better and easiest to prepare cheese omelets we have enjoyed.

If you do not have a need for cooking for a gang of people I would recommend purchasing the half size griddle for your RoadTrip. We plan to purchase the half size griddle for use when it will be just the wife and I camping and for use at home. In addition, storage of the full griddle may be an issue for some as we all know space while camping is at a premium. Coleman RoadTrip Full-Size Aluminum Griddle

After buying this griddle we took a week-long camping trip during which we made pancakes, french toast or omelletes and bacon or sausage and hash browns every morning. This griddle is fantastic! Nothing stuck to the no-stick surface and it was a breeze to clean up. The built-in grease catch allowed us to keep our RoadTrip grill spotless, the aluminum made it lighter to carry and quicker to heat up (using less propane), and the size was perfect for our grill. It even fit inside the Coleman carry-case designed for our grill. We're absolutely delighted with this griddle and, for the very first time, are happy to give this product our highest recommendation.

We bought this griddle, which states it is for use with all Coleman Road Trip grills, for our larger-size Coleman Road Trip Pro Grill SS

Coleman Road Trip Pro Grill SS

First, we confirmed that, although this griddle is smaller and fits the smaller Coleman Road Trip Grills, such as

Coleman 9949-750 Road Trip Grill, Red

Coleman 9941-768 Road Trip Grill (Blue)

this griddle would still work in the larger grills. (The one-sided pieces available for the smaller grills, will not work in the larger Road Trip grills.)

Instructions that came with the griddle said to not use it with other grilling surfaces, so we took out the grate, and after some maneuvering, found that the best placement is toward the front (with the fat catcher toward the front), with the small legs resting on the heat tents. We cannot close the grill lid while using the griddle, but this isn't necessary - the grill is plenty hot enough, set just slightly above medium.

The first time I used this griddle, I was amazed. No other griddle I have ever used (ESPECIALLY the electric griddle I have inside), produces the even heating of this one. The bacon came out excellent, each of the six slices (1/4 pound) heating evenly, placed wide across the griddle face. The bacon was fatty, and the grease catcher filled approximately 1/4 to 1/3 full (the griddle was at a very slight slant toward the grease catcher), so was fully capable of holding up to a pound without overflowing.

I followed with an omelet for my husband and two eggs over-easy for myself. Even though the griddle was at a slight slant, the eggs only slightly started running, but because the surface so evenly heated, I was able to just touch them with my spatula and they did not run further.

It was the best breakfast of its type that we have had. Our electric stove (appliance)inside does not heat our anodized, nonstick, even-heating pans as evenly as the Road Trip Grill with the Aluminum Griddle. I look forward to more great breakfasts from this awesome griddle and highly recommend it to anyone with any of the Coleman grills on which it can be used.

This griddle is decent overall, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

Pros: Heats up quickly, good smooth cooking surface, lightweight, easy to clean surface.

Cons: Grill cover cannot close when using this, non-stick coating comes off easily (do not use metal tools on this), grill has to be almost perfectly level to prevent liquids (like eggs or batter) from trickling off.

Overall: I'm surprised this is a Coleman factory product, especially since they didn't factor in the grill cover closing. The jury is still out on whether the grease trap is helpful or not, since it pools everything without letting it drip into the grill's basin where the rest of the grill's grease goes. You'll have to clean that out manually. It cooks well though, but I'm wondering if it would have been a better option to buy two half-griddles for basically the same price, so I could have had the option to use another accessory at the same time when necessary.'

Linux Compatible - digital audio, usb audio interface

I've decided to hide an old IBM laptop near my stereo

for use as a poor man's Squeezebox. I used the "shared

folder" feature of windows to access my digital music

collection (purchased from eMusic, and stored on another

PC) wirelessly. Pretty nice -- I don't have to transfer

music to the laptop itself, which has only a small hard

drive.

I initially had an adapter cable running from the

"headphone out" on the laptop to stereo RCA cables

to the stereo. The stereo volume had to be cranked

up pretty high, and the sound quality seemed just okay.

I took the Micro II card out of the packaging, plugged

it into a USB port, and that was that. The laptop,

running Windows 2000, recognized it immediately and

I simply plugged my adapter cable into the Micro II.

I haven't run any careful tests to compare the sound

of the Micro II to the sound chip on the laptop, but

subjectively the sound with the Micro II was a lot

clearer, and I could set my stereo volume as I would

normally when using the CD player. My wife said she

could hear a big improvement in the sound.

In short: totally simple to set up, works with my

Windows 2000 laptop, and seems to sound much better

than the laptop headphone output. Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro II USB Analog & Digital Audio Adapter

The built-in sound on my Acer netbook running Ubuntu 10.04 is poor. Headphones on this adapter sound great, but the real joy comes from using an optical "cable" to connect up to my stereo -- the sound is wonderful.

This adapter is recognized as soon as I plug it in, although I do occasionally have to manually select it over the onboard audio output.

I bought this to replace an old Griffin iMic that I had connected to a Mac that I use as a Home Theater PC (HTPC). The HTPC is connected to a Sony HTCT100 Sound Bar / Sub Woofer. The Micro II sounds a little better, but for some reason I can now no longer adjust the volume using the Macs volume control, perhaps this is a limitation of the optical output ?

The main reason for buying this was to get 5.1 and DTS so that DVD's would sound better. Unfortunately Turtle Beach do not support these features on the Mac, and do not provide any custom drivers. If I had know this at the time of ordering I probably would have gone with a Behringer U Control UCA202 USB Audio Interface which sounds great, and also has an optical out.

I am very happy to see that this usb audio card worked without any trouble or driver installs under Ubuntu 10.04. The "no driver required" is indeed true from what I have seen.

I bought this because the shielding of the motherboard's audio output was terrible in my computer. The main use-case is listening to music via headphones, and for this it worked great! The volume levels coming out were actually shocking at first, but after adjusting the sound volume in Pulse Audio (global and device specific) everything sounds as it should.

I purchased this product solely for the optical port and surround sound option with the driver install.

The site says the driver is compatible with my OS but not matter what I tried I got at least 3-4 errors when installing it. Their tech support took something like 5-7 days to email me back(no phone number) and about a day per email. Over another 5-7 days we still hadn't figured anything out.

After a few days of tinkering and turning off a few security things I managed to get it to 'sort of' work. Basically I had to install in safe mode and ignore ALL the errors. After letting Microsoft take over the device I had the option to pick a Turtle Beach driver. However... if I tried to use the software to set up the device it immediately stopped working with no way to fix it short of trying a new USB slot. I can get the surround light to light up when I play movies that support it and that is it. So far the games I've tried (Bioshock 2, Crysis, etc) don't actually get the light to light up.

The hardware itself seems ok, just plug and go. Your computer will know what it is. The driver that gives it the surround sound option is the problem. Lack of support didn't help either.

Honestly I would avoid this if you are looking for an easy 'plug n play' workaround for not having the optical port.

This product works perfectly for me so far.

I have only had it for about a week, so I can't comment on the durability.

I haven't had any problems with it, so I can't comment on Turtle Beach's customer service.

I use this device to send multi-channel, compressed audio (Dolby Digital, DTS) from my laptop to my home theater receiver.

I send the video stream via HDMI to my TV. My receiver is just old enough that it doesn't have any HDMI inputs; only digital coax and Toslink.

My TV will pass the audio to my receiver via Toslink (which is awesome for OTA broadcasts w/ multi-channel audio), but restricts the stream to 2-channel stereo.

So, using HDMI from my laptop, I'd never be able to watch a Blu-Ray disc in anything more than stereo .

That's no good. I'd rather watch a DVD in 5.1 or 6.1 than a Blu-Ray in stereo.

This Micro II solved the problem.

It sends any audio format found on today's DVDs, including DTS-ES (6.1).

And the picture and sound were perfectly matched, despite passing over separate outputs.

I also like that this thing is sleek and minimal in it's design. It takes up practically no space, requires no additional power source, and will fit easily in your laptop bag when you travel (although you probably won't use this much while traveling).

Plus, the fact that it includes the mini-Toslink adapter is awesome (what a pain it would be to have to buy one more little thing just to make it work).

And the connection is very sturdy; it won't pull out inadvertently.

The only annoying thing, to me, was that there was no way to select this device as the default output until I had installed the drivers from TB.

Yes, they are clear upfront that you'll need the drivers to use the multi-channel output feature, but I thought the thing would at least show up in my device list.

Anyway, not a huge deal. Just go directly to the TB site and get the drivers.

Oh, and to those reviewers who are Mac users, why would you even buy this?

Unless your Mac is pretty old, it probably has a dual-use jack that functions as a headphone and Toslink output.

Just get a mini-Toslink adapter, which costs about five bucks (or less). You shouldn't need any other device to send digital audio via Toslink. - Toslink - Digital Audio - Usb Sound Card - Usb Audio Interface'

Raw Food Recipes

I've been trying to figure out the best way to review this book. On the one hand, hard-core rawies maybe won't like the fact that the authors are not 100% raw all the time. But me? I like this. They may say that the recipes are so simple, so why write them into a raw cookbook? Yes, they are simple, but they are very different than those I've seen in other raw books, and I have, I swear, most every raw book published! I enjoy and get inspiration and ideas from them all. But taste and simplicity are the themes here.

In addition to the great recipes, this book is pretty - nice layout, photos, etc., and honestly I am a sucker for pretty books. But again, I am enamored with the ease of these recipes. I think it's almost validation for how I eat and most usually approach the raw thing, meaning - in the summer and early fall and even spring it's much easier and feels more natural to eat a lot of raw. But I live in the Midwest, and in the winter, it is very counterintuitive for me to hunt for pineapple and mango to make a smoothie. I want root vegetables - sometimes cooked - and miso soup. And I won't apologize for that. (There are no cooked recipes in here and none for miso soup, I was just making a point.) I do love the raw recipes that use these root veggies (parsnip, celery root, sweet potatoes and Jerusalem artichokes for example)and I am totally all over the fruit porridges. I'm making my own versions with seasonal fruit and chia seeds, and although many may say it's just a smoothie with less liquid, OK - but I didn't think of it - and I love it. Especially the idea to add celery. My non-raw husband also loved the taco fixings, which we had last night.

I think those new to raw will love these recipes. And those who truly need or want to put something together quickly. A lot of books say "quick" but there are often hidden steps or recipes within recipes that make this misleading. In this book, NONE of the recipes require dehydration, so save for the recommended nut soaking in some recipes, these are very easy to do. Over this Memorial Weekend, the book has been my go-to for some needed cleansing and "body resetting." I think this is a great book for beginners, as well as for those of us who are a little burned out on the more involved recipes many raw food books contain. Right now, this is the way I want to eat, and I'm so glad I found this at a local bookstore so I could see it for myself. I look forward to more raw food books by these two women! (Hope you're working on one!) Raw Food: A Complete Guide for Every Meal of the Day

I cannot list all the recipes that I love from this book, as this review would never end, but my girlfriend thinks I'm a master chef due to this book, and I never was that good in the kitchen to begin with.

As someone who used to work for a smoothie company, I can attest that the fruit smoothie recipes in this book are the real deal. I've even concocted my own recipes based on the ones from the book, all though the originals always seem to taste better than mine.

Overall this book is an A+. The food is consistently good, the recipes are easy to follow (which is important) and I'm eating healthier every single day, and have even given up fast food!

Please buy this book, you won't regret it.

I have many, many raw cookbooks, but I've gotten sick of the heavy, dehydrator, nut based ickyness. Not to mention how hard it is to get many ingredients in NJ in the winter.

The recipes in this book call for easily aquired year round produce, so it's great for winter. Yeah, I know, it's best to go local, but that doesn't help in January.

The recipes are simple and delicious and I can fix them up and eat them the same day! Yippee.

I am a newcomer to raw food, but I started with Alissa Cohen's book, Living on Live Food, which is 50% raw food theory and justification, and only 50% recipes and way too big and heavy. However, Cohen's book has some great recipes that I have used successfully.

I bought Palmcrantz and Lilja's Raw Food thinking I would like to learn some new ideas. This book has little in the way of creative recipes. It's biggest drawback is that it has no index, so if you do find something you would like to refer back to, good luck in finding it! All of the dishes it describes are for completely raw, non-dehydrated foods, so you don't need any special equipment (like a dehydrator) to follow its recipes. I tried making the "I Can't Believe Its Not Salmon Pate" recipe - and I couldn't believe it wasn't a very dull paste composed principally of sunflower seeds, almonds and carrots! This book is light on raw food meal ideas and heavy on glamorous photos of healthy-looking Swedish people. So I'm still looking for a good raw food guide.

I've been flirting with raw food for a while now but ever since i received this book, i have yet to eat a cooked meal. All recipes come out beautiful and delicious, including desserts! Raw carrot cake and raw tacos were a hit at an omnivore's potluck dinner and got everyone interested in raw foods.

I do not own a dehydrator and until last week i did not have a spiralizer either, but you really don't need any special equipment for the recipes in this book.

Looking forward to see what the authors will publish next. Anyone remotely interested in raw foods should give it a try and begin with this book.

This book has it all, wonderful recipes, stunning photos and the presentation is straight forward and convincing. I have tried several recipes and just keep going back to sit and look through the wonderful photos!

I recently converted my diet to 100% raw, and this book has some great recipes that are easy to prepare and don't take a lot of preparation. The book is sectioned by meals and food types (drinks, soups, sides, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.). I am particularly fond of the dinner section which is sub-captioned, "I'm Hungry and I Want to Eat Now!" The recipes are truly easy to prepare if you are looking for something to toss together. Just make sure you have some soaked nuts or seeds on hand for some of them. Most of the ingredients are pretty easy to find too.'

Power Adaptor Us To Uk - travel adapter, travel converter

This has honestly been a life saver while living abroad with US-purchasde electronics. I had the usual smattering of personal electronic devices when moving to the UK (iPod, camera, phone, etc.) and needed something that was more than just a plug converter. As there is a voltage difference here as well, I needed something a little more.

This has been a great solution for me. While its a little on the heavy/big side (not something you can throw in a backpack or purse easily), it doesn't overheat and I feel comfortable keeping it plugged in overnight and unattended.

The construction is solid and has survived multiple trans-Atlantic trips to and from the UK. I've been pretty hard on the thing, but the cabling has stayed anchored to the devices and doesn't appear to have any fraying or weakness in the connections.

A great purchase! VCT VOD100UK - 100 Watt Step Down Voltage Converter With UK Style Plug For Travel to 220V/240V Countries

I was forced to buy this product by my wife who insisted on using her CHI hair iron on our trip to the UK. It was heavy duty enough to handle converting the voltage appropriately for this device. I'd read about many other products prior to buying this one, and this one withstood the usage. - Power Adaptor Us To Uk - Travel Adapter - Travel Converter - Transformer'

Healthcare Kits - grooming, child care

I purchased this for my 9 month old daughter who fights me every time I try to clip or file her nails. So I thought this will help. It turns out that it takes too long for his to file her nails down. (That's why I took off a star). So I still clip them and then use this to make it smoother.

I definitely like using this electric nail filer than a regular emery file from Babies R Us because I always file too much and end up messing up her nails. I can't seem to go wrong with this one.

I'm sure this would have been an awesome nail filer if she was just an infant when her nails were still very soft and flexible. Too bad they didn't have this 9 months ago! Safety 1st Prograde Gentle Vibes Nail Filer

I bought this battery powered nail file for my newborn son's nails. First of all, the vibrating noise from the file wakes up your baby if you try to file their nails while they sleep. Second, the file head itself is like those cheap old metal-pointed nail files that you grandmother had that never really filed your nails well and just something that you used if nothing else was available. You also have to hold down an "on" button with your thumb while you try to file your infant's tiny nails which is a pain. Using a $0.99 emory board is much more practical, more precise and better on your baby's soft, new nails and does the trick better than this. I would return this item, but it is not worth the price to ship it back for the refund. Don't waste your money on this item - use it towards diapers and just get a inexpensive emory board from your local drug store or pharmacy.

What a great idea! My Grandson is very tempermental and as most newborns, won't hold still so it was very scary for any of us to try cutting his nails. This battery run file does the job painlessly and the baby doesn't mind it at all - a real find!!!!

the vibration is really strong and I worried about "overfiling" my baby's nails. I also purchased this for my sister in law who agreed that the vibrations were too strong. The file is metal, as well, so I don't see how metal can be gentle on the baby's nails. I would not recommend.

I purchased this filer for my 6 month old baby. However, the surface of the metal filer was too rough to use for an infant. It seems that the metal filer vibrating up and down to smooth nails, but did not really work. After filing the baby's nails, I found out the tip of the nails were even rougher and I tried back to the conventional manual filer. Do not try to buy for infants!!!!

i cant recommend this nail filer, it just didnt work for us... it seemed to just bend my daughter's nails and took soooo long for just one nail! imagine holding a newborn's (or a baby's) fingers for that long. i was afraid i would cut her skin with the baby nail-clipper & thats why i bought this. well, i actually found the nail-clipper much easier to control and WAY quicker... my daughter is 14 months old and i have never nicked her.

I guess other people found this helpful, which is why I registered for it. But when I tried filing my newborn's nails, nothing happened. I think it would've taken ages to file her nails down with this. On the flip side, it is very safe since accidentally filing my baby's finger won't hurt her. This is one of those baby items I have never and will never use. - Healthcare Kits - Child Care - Grooming - Nail Files'

Backpack Purse - cell phone, leather

I had a traditional backpack before and thought I had too much pack for what I carried to work.So far this is small and convenient. The texture is so buttery soft. And it feels and looks more professional.I like that I can also shift it and it becomes a shoulder bag-if I want to.To date I have packed all my stuff ID,glasses, etc plus a small coffee carafe into it. I didn't think all that stuff would fit-but was very pleasantly surprised. If it just came in a deep mocha or coffee. . .But I would also buy this product again in a second. I love it! Versatile Leather Backpack Sling Shoulder Bag Purse (MI-PL1003-Black)

I was very pleased with this purchase. What a great backpack for travel. I use it often. I find it big enough to fit all my items...and that is saying a lot. I especially like the many useful pockets. There is one big snap front pocket, one big zipped pocket in back, and two side small zipped pockets besides the main zipped center section. What a useful backpack. I think it is a great buy.Versatile Leather Backpack Sling Shoulder Bag Purse in Choice of Colors

This was a very well made purse, loved it. Not too big and not too small. I can use it like a regular purse, or I can unzip the strap and put it on my back like a backpack when I don't want my hands to be tied up.

This is a great backpack/purse hybrid. I have always used backpacks in the past but I was looking for something that would fit all of my stuff and that I could both wear as a backpack for comfort but that would also be purse-like enough so I didn't have to switch bags when I wore something nicer than usual (or just look funny to others in nice clothes but carrying my worn old backpack, which is what I used to do). This bag was just what I needed and more. I'd say this bag leans a bit more towards purse than backpack in the scale, but it's comfortable enough when worn as a backpack for backpack users like me to be pleased. The other two ways to wear it (shoulder, sling) are also very comfortable and I like that I can switch between them very easily. It has a relatively good amount of space in the main pocket; just enough to fit all of my stuff. It doesn't open as wide as backpacks do, but I am able to access all that is in it without too much trouble. To me, the only downside is that the extra pockets (one on the inside and four on the outside) are not that big. If your main pocket is as full as mine is, the extra pockets will feel rather cramped. I would've really liked if the extra pocket on the outside with the flap was a little wider. The material looks and feels very nice and so far it looks like it's going to last a long time in good shape (I've only had it for three months and a half so I can only guess at this point; it doesn't show any signs of wear and tear yet).

I love this!! I've always liked the backpack handbags, but they never hang right. Usually they always hang upside down when carried like a purse. I love the way this is designed!! It's roomy & has plenty of pockets, which is what I look for in a purse. The leather is soft & it's really well made. It looks expensive, but it wasn't. Also I picked the 2 day shipping. I ordered it on Sat. & as promised, it was here on Mon. Great product & service!!

Pros: The quality of the bag was good and well made; just not a bag that I would personally use. I would recommend this bag for anyone who is looking for something versatile that can be used from office to evening. Cons: NO cons, bag packed, shipped and received when expected.

I purchased this purse in July. The front and back pocket lining was frayed and the seam had not been sewn properly. Everything that was put in both of these pockets ended up floating around in the bottom of the purse and had to be fished out through the hole in the linings. Very disappointed. Also, I was hoping to find a purse that would stay on my shoulder, and this one does not. - Shoulder Bag - Leather - Shoulder Bags - Cell Phone'

Laptop Batteries - laptop batteries, battery

I have a Dell Inspiron 1520. My old battery only held about 30 minutes of charge so I decided it was time to get a new one. I was wary about purchasing the battery from pyrus electronics since it was so cheap. Nonetheless, the battery arrived on time and it works perfectly fine. When the battery is fully charged, I get about five to seven hours of power (depending on screen brightness, active programs, etc.).

Also, my battery fit perfectly into the slot. There was no force necessary as stated in a previous review. (9-cell) Laptop Battery for Dell Inspiron 1520 1521 1720 1721 Vostro 1500 1700 Series Pn 312-0504 312-0513 312-0518 312-0520

I bought this product admittedly without reading carefully enough through the product description: I took myself to be buying an original Dell battery. When it arrived, it did not fit quite perfectly into my computer; it took an unhappy amount of force to get it situated. My computer (an Inspiron 1520) did indeed recognize the battery without any problem. However, it does not seem to power the computer for as long as my original Dell battery did, which would last for almost 6 hours when it was new. Perhaps this is because I have not yet "trained" the battery. But after the first charge and deplete and recharge, my battery meter now tells me that the freshly charged battery is good for about 4 and a half hours. That's not quite as good as I was hoping.

I bought this battery for my Dell Vostro 1500. Everything seemed to work fine the first 45 days or so. Then for no apparent reason this battery died. Just like that.

This battery comes with a one year warranty. So I contacted Amazon customer service. Of course, I am out of their 30 day period to send it back. They asked me to contact the manufacturer (NG). Amazon doesn't even know what NG is, and what the contact info is. They asked me to contact the seller (Westronics).

I called Westronics. Left them a voicemail. Haven't heard back from them yet. If there is any progress I'll update this review. But for now, this battery is a piece of junk and customer service is the worst.

Despite their claims, this battery does NOT fit correctly in an Inspiron 1720. It is just loose enough to lose contact when I transport my laptop in its case. When I try to awake the computer from hibernation, it ALWAYS reboots completely, telling me Windows did not shut down properly. I lose all my open windows, work-in-progress,etc -- all the advantages of hibernation. Not sure about other models, but AVOID this battery for an Inspiron 1720.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!! This battery charged 100% when first received and within 3 weeks was down to 33%! Now another week and it is at 30%, at this rate will be gone in the next month. $35.00 for two months is too expensive. It will not hold a charge and the company will not reply to emails. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I have a 3 year old Inspiron 1520 and my battery life has been hovering around 1.5 hours. I wanted to get a replacement battery since my battery health was around 47%. This battery worked for 3 days and, when it reached 40% charge, it would plummet to 1%. This battery held even less charge than my old one. I have sent it back for a refund and I would not recommend getting this.

Also, it is worth mentioning that this battery does NOT has the same charge compared to Dell's OEM 9 Cell battery. This battery is 7200mAh, Dell's battery is 8500 mAh.

My old stock battery only held a charge for 20 minutes' worth of use, so I definitely needed a new one. When I saw this one, it was an easy choice. Being a 9-cell, it's important to remember that it will stick out a bit (roughly an inch) from the back of your laptop; I do not see this as a con.

My laptop (Vostro 1500) accepted it without the slightest difficulty, and sliding it into the battery slot was effortless. Even after the recommended breaking in process (which was presented in badly translated English), it does not last as long as I had hoped. I can get two to three (somewhere in the middle) hours of moderate use from a full charge, which is still a marked improvement. The computer's power gauge estimate of how long the battery lasts is not accurate, sadly. It believes the charge lasts longer than it really does, and the battery dies around the 10% mark (though when I plug it in and turn it back on, it properly reports the approximately 0% reading). There may be a way to fix this, but I don't know it.

All things considered, this is probably not the highest quality battery you can find, but it's more than worth it for the price.

Good battery. Fit perfectly. Not quite as good performance as my original dell 9-cell (now 4.5 hrs instead of original 5+), but at 1/5th of the price I am completely satisfied with this product. Please note that this is the 9-CELL battery and will stick out the back. Some people seem upset that this battery sticks out the back and their old one did not. The 6-cell does not stick out like the 9-cell. Please do not rate this product low because the battery sticks out. This is due to the design by DELL and not because of this specific battery.

I would definitely recommend this product.

I am very mad about this battery. I ordered it in June 2010 and now in October 2010 it is already pretty much useless. If my battery says half full my computer shuts off. This battery will most likely not last you. It's garbage. A product needs to last longer than 4 months!! You might want to consider buying the dell battery as they might back up their product for longer than 4 months. At this point it's like a disposal battery and I'll most likely have to purchase the more expensive dell battery anyway. Very unsatisfied with this product. - Laptop Battery - Battery - Dell - Laptop Batteries'

Binding Machines

I am a teacher and a homeschooling mom to a 16 year old and I couldn't wait to get this Fellowes Star Comb Binding Machine. I have used it many times since I received it and have been extremely happy with it. The instructions that come with the machine are very vague, but that is not an issue at all because it's very easy to use. I took it out of the box, placed it on my desk and looked at it for all of 60 seconds and that was that. I have been binding books for my daughter since the moment I opened it and haven't had any problems at all. I use a 24 lb paper and I can easily punch through 8 pages or more at a time. I have to also say that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it's not easy for me to manipulate things with my hands, so if I can use it, anyone can! The one thing I do which might be helpful to you, I put my heavy stapler on top of the papers as I load them onto the plastic binder. It's not really necessary to do this, but it holds the papers down while I load the next stack on the binder. So simple! Also, this is not a huge machine. I can actually pick this up and move it around without any difficulty. It is compact enough to fit in my big desk drawer. This is such a great tool for homeschoolers, teachers, and small offices. If you are thinking of purchasing one, don't wait. This will make your life so much easier and comb bound books take up a lot less space than three ring binders! I hope my review is helpful. Fellowes Star Manual Comb Binding Machine (52173)

This product performed better than expected based the value price as you can pay up to $200 and more for these machines. Fellowes makes very good products. The only negative here is that if you "load" more than 5 or 6 pages of 20lb paper the "punching" process becomes a little challenging. It you are binding lets say 20 pages it then becomes a 3 "punch" process.

I've always used heavy-duty binding machines, so was a little wary about trying this. I purchased it for a non-profit with a very small budget and our options were limited. I based my decision on other reviews and the manufacturer's reputation, hoping that I wouldn't be disappointed.

I wasn't! Granted, you can't put many pages in at a time to punch (I limited it to 5), but by being careful and taking my time, I was very satisfied with the outcome. It works well and is easy to use. If you're looking for mass output, spend the money on a more expensive machine. For occasional use, this will more than fulfill your needs.

Like other reviewers said, sometimes it's hard to know for sure whether you have inserted the sheets deep enough for the holes to be aligned properly. I formed the habit of sliding the sheets left & right a few times after insertion but before punching the holes, and despite doing that I would still miss the alignment every now and then. Other that that it's a good value. Solid construction, small footprint. Looks kind of cute, too.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We bind quite a few things and he had been looking to purchase a comb binding machine. He was actually considering buying this particular brand and model at Staples, but it was rather pricey.

When I saw it here for considerably less, I thought, what the heck, and bought it. He loves it. It is light weight and so easy to use that I didn't even need instructions on how to use it. My only problem was sometimes I would not have the paper completely in the slots before puncturing. Other than that, it seems like this will be quite a hit around our place.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to bind documents at home. I had used professional quality comb binders that cost much more so I was not expecting too much.

This product exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an inexpensive binder.'

Military Apparel - tactical, duty belt

OK anyone that is thinking purchases this item pass on it and find something else.

1. The belt is extremely thin not like pictured as a regular thick duty belt.

2. The pouches tore because they are very thin and I put a pack of cigarettes in

the medium sized pocket and while running with this belt on the I lost my

cigarettes because the bottom of the pouch ripped out at the seem because

they are thin and very cheaply made.

3. The item is misrepresented in the photo and in my opinion it is also

misrepresented in the description too.

This is mt honest opinion stated by me for the purpose of a review of a product. Deluxe Black Nylon Swat Belt - Law Enforcement - Tactical - Military Apparel - Duty Belt'

Digital Notepad - dot paper, digital pen

This are great notebooks to use with your Livescribe Pulse pen. Each notebook contains 100 sheets or 200 large format pages and should be sufficient for a lot of note taking. The quality of paper and binding is high and these are very durable notebooks. Livescribe numbers their notebooks from 1 to 8 so for anyone who is a moderate note taker it will be a while before all notebooks are used up and need to be archived. Livescribe ANA-00018 Single Lined 100 Page 5-8 Notebook - 4 Pack (Spiral-Bound)

Every time I take out my Livescribe pen and write on the paper, it wows me. It makes perfect reproductions of my notes and records the conversation of my meetings accurately. All of the little softbuttons at the bottom of the page work fine - record/pause/stop, etc... The notebook is just like any other college-ruled spiral bound, with the pages micro-perfed so you can rip them out if you want to. I have found nothing wrong with this product except that now I can't decide if I should get more spirals or go with some of the smaller bound journals... :-D

The caution is that when I received this 4 pack, it was notebooks 5-8 in the series (not 1-4 as stated in the description). This is not a problem for me since these are the first notebooks that I have ordered. I have submitted a correction to Amazon for the title and description, so hopefully this will be taken care of soon.

This pen has changed the way I take notes and has immensely advanced my abilities as a student and a manager. I never miss a beat, even if I do no more than mark a highlight I can go back to the precise moment in time and practically relive the moment. The notebooks are great quality and cost little or no more than regular paper. The pen lasts all day and can hold every minute. When I play back the sound through my PC it sounds like it was recorded in a studio, especially if I use the headphones.

If I had any complaint it would be that the software is a bit primitive, totally functional but for instance there is no means to select more than one session at a time for uploading or removing from the pen. Still haven't figure out how to print my own paper says I need a special postscript printer or something, I made a scan of a page just for curiosity and it worked, there are indicators that work is being done to advance this software so I can wait. Great product.

The features of the pen would be great if they worked consistently. I have repeatedly contacted technical support for LiveScribe both by email and then by phone. I have been directed to complete a series of commands and obtain information and forward it to them, the list of information they requested was unbelieveable. What I considered interesting was at no point did tech support attempt to walk me through resolution of this product. The issue I am having is that the pen does not consistently transfer data to the computer. A error message comes up that says, contact tech support. This is a very pricey item and a great disappointment.

I have now been contacted by tech support and this product seems to be working much better. Thanks Brian!

This is my second set of books, so I'm delighted that they have made numbers 5 - 8 available. They are sturdy books; the paper is of good quality and, since I haven't succeeded yet in printing this special paper, I'm tickled that the price for the books is so reasonable. (Don't buy these if you're not using them for the Livescribe Smartpen. You can find plain notebooks that will be cheaper for that, but this special paper is fairly and reasonably priced for using the Smartpen, in my opinion.) This pen has really improved my productivity and the accuracy of my notes. Love it.

Assuming you're buying these to use with the Livescribe pen, these things are perfect and have everything you'd ever want. Don't buy these for use with normal pens or pencils. You'll be wasting your money.

I got the Livescribe pen and notebooks to help my son who has a visual processing learning difference- neither the paper nor the pen worked properly and it was not worth the money. I would not recommend this product. - Digital Notes - Dot Paper - Digital Pen - Smart Pen'

Pink Kitchen - pink kitchen

These hot mitts are very pretty. I like seeing them in my kitchen. I've used them for cookie sheets and other baking pans and they were fine for use on them. Last night I used them on a broiler pan and they were definitely NOT thick enough for that. I will still use them for everything else, but will haul out the old heavy duty mitts for the broiler pans from now on. DII Pink Cosmo Printed Damask Oven Mitt and Potholder Set - Pink Kitchen'
