Dancing - belly dance hip scarf, hip scarf
we ordered two of the skirts to make the beginner's lessons more fun when you are in character. the price was relatively inexpensive, so we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and detailing of the outfits. they were beautifully colored, just like the ad, but the ad did not not do the detailing justice. overall, we were exceptionally satisfied, and will definitely order from this company again. the sizing is perfect too, where it will fit a good range of weights and builds and still look great. Hotpink Belly Dancing Skirt with Gold Coins; Authenic Dance Hip Scarf Wrap (Great Gift Idea)
I just recieved my skirt in the mail, I am learning Belly Dancing to help tone while losing weight. The skirt is very well made, and I love the sound it makes when I move. It's a generous size (I'm a size 26W) and I don't have much trouble tying it on. I think that this is a wonderful product and it ships super fast. I plan on ordering more in the near future.
The skirt came in record time and when I opend the package I was so surprised at the color. It's even pinker than the photos. I LOVE it. I have 42" hips and I still don't have a problem tying it on. My daughter's got 36 inch hips and STILL has no problems with the size. The coins really jingle and it looks beautiful on. The hot pink color is really gorgeous. I highly recommend this product... especially for the price... very modest. - Belly Dance Hip Scarf - Belly Dancing - Dancing - Hip Scarf'

Ripped Off - bad value, amazon
As previous reviewer noticed, this BubbleWrap has small bubbles, so it will work better with smaller items. If you send something relatively big, you'd rather go with bigger bubbles as you may need several layers of smaller ones to nicely protect your stuff.
Duck Brand is respected for its quality and this product is no exception. Despite some missing bubbles, it's a pretty decent product and it'll meet your needs.
offtop: I've wasted one roll just by popping bubbles on it, it's so much fun :-) Duck Brand Bubble Wrap Protective Packaging, 12" x 60' (1061835)
I almost didn't order this because of another review that said it was low-quality bubble wrap unsuitable for moving. In reality, it is totally normal bubble wrap like any other. Just be aware it's the mini-bubbles and not the wide ones.
I think this must be one of the best deals on Amazon. Some stores will charge $20+ for one roll of bubble wrap. This is 8 rolls for $13.99. I was shocked by the HUGE box this arrived in. Thank you, Amazon!
Ok, here we go. I ordered this 3 months ago. 8 Pack of bubblewrap. I get the currently on back order, we'll ship asap once it's available again. OK, fast foward to Dec. Package arrives with 1 pack of bubblewrap. Customer service says Sorry, we do not have anymore. Please return it to use for a refund. But, if you look at the item, they will still accept your order. So, they won't honor my original order for the 8 pack but they will accept new ones. The listing shows 1 bubblewrap, but I saved the original item with an 8 pack for the same price. I don't want a refund, I want what I ordered. Now I have to take time out of my day for their error.
Same thing happened to me. I waited patiently 3 1/2 months for my 8 rolls of bubble wrap only to be shocked this afternoon when only one roll arrived. Where's the other 7 rolls to complete my order???? I ordered this in August and today one eighth of my order showed up. HELP!!!!
I was also part of the group of people that ordered when it said it was an 8 pack. I think it's funny how upset people get because of a simple error in the listing. It's not like this is the only product Amazon is selling people.
As for the actual product, this works great. The roll is nice and convenient and it protects stuff well just as it should. People giving it bad reviews are just bitter and are not actually reviewing the product so they should be ignored.
Ordered this since it was a great deal on an 8 pack I believe? I know it specifically said it was a lot more than 1. It was backordered month after month. I was fine waiting since it was supposed to be such a great deal. When it finally arrived, it was 1 pack of wrap for a much higher price than walmart could have sold it to me for. I was totally ripped off and was too busy to try to dispute it. The bubble wrap is fine and I have no problem with the product itself but the seller nailed me good.
This helps me package about 30 small packages without worrying about packing.
obviously the "8-pack" was a mistake.
selling 8 packs of these for $10 would not even be worth it for the seller.
heck, shipping these wraps would costs that much
I was completely ripped off by Amazon on this order. Was supposed to receive what I paid for, that being an 8 roll pack of 12'x60' Duck Brand Bubblewrap. Instead I receive 1 roll, which I ordered October 12th and didn't receive until December 22nd (still have another package in transit since I ordered a qty of 2 of the 8 packs). There isn't even a place to contact customer service about this. I paid 13.99 for 1 stinking roll of bubblewrap. I feel completely cheated. I agree with the other reviewer this was a bait and switch. So Amazon, do you want to pay me for all the other rolls you owe me and maybe some interest on the money of mine you held for 3 months to boot. The most horrible online shopping experience I have ever had. Additionally, the roll of wrap comes with a huge sticker affixed to one end causing you to rip the edges of the bubble wrap along the entire roll since the sticker was not easily removable. By the way, you can get 60 feet of bubblewrap cheaper by just going to a local office supply or department store when it is on sale. This was not a good bargain and Amazon only refunded me for one roll. My request fro compensation for the other package missing 7 rolls was never acknowledged and unless they feel compelled to make it right, once and for all I will never again will I order from Amazon.
I too think this was a bait and switch. I ordered 2 8-Packs of this BubbleWrap back in September. I accepted 2 order extensions from Amazon and it was finally delivered today. There was only one roll for each order. I was told by customer service that the original listing was in error and should have only been for 1 roll. All corrospondence I have received from Amazon for 3 months listed Item # 1061835 Duck Brand Bubble Wrap Protective Packaging, 12" x 60' as an 8-pack. Why was the 8-pack offered and shipped at the $13.99 price for so long if it was all a mistake? The listing only changed today as far as I can tell.
After speaking with 3 reps, I have received a full refund, but I am still upset that I was not shipped what I ordered. I can understand 3rd party sellers falling short like this, but not Amazon directly.
I am very disappointed that so much time was wasted on this transaction. I guess I will have to purchase my shipping supplies elsewhere. Sadly, I am no longer an Amazon cheerleader. - Amazon - Bad Value - Ripped Off'

Planer Blades
These are the standard replacement for blades in the DW735. No surprise then that they work exactly as well as the originals. Which means that when they are sharp they work quite well. And when they are not you can reverse them. When that side is exhausted you can replace them.
I find that about 200 board feet of 5/4 by 8" hard maple is where the blades start to show wear - a dining room table's worth in realtime terms. Nicks can be suppressed by adjusting the blades laterally so that one blade removes the fault one of the others creates. To be honest, given the price of these strips of metal, I would like them to either last longer or be sharpenable. Although the prospect of sharpening 13" cutting edges does not thrill me.
What I would like to see is someone to start making aftermarket blades, carbide if possible. These are just pricey enough that I would be willing to pay just a bit more to get a few hundred more board feet out of a set. Lacking that, this is our only choice, and it is the single biggest flaw in the DW735 planer design. DEWALT DW7352 Replaceable Knives for DW735 13 Inch Planer
Yes, like toner cartridges, these blades don't last long and forever need replacing. For that reason I sold my DW735 and switched back to a DW733...I could not afford the blade habit! If you use exotics, or simply use your planer a lot, I would not recommend the DW735, as they obviously switched to non-sharpenable blades in order to hook you on their VERY overpriced replacements. If you get 3-400 BF out of a set, consider yourself lucky!
I purchased my DW735 as a quicky (read: impulsive) replacement for a Jet JWP12 that died in the middle of a job. (The poly belt broke.) Uncharacteristically, I didn't research the tool before buying. I should have. Although the planer is satisfactory, the knives are not. I planed about 80 lineal feet (yes, JUST 80 feet!) of antique white oak 1x6s before suddenly finding the blades too dull for the feed rollers to overcome the resistance. This occurred suddenly...within the span of three boards! Going along just fine in the "dimensioning" mode when the feed became slower and slower until finally, the boards quit feeding. The dull knives offered too much resistance. I cleaned the feed rollers with acetone, thinking there was contamination causing them to lose friction. This helped for one board, then the feeding stopped again. These boards were salvaged church kneelers from 1900. I had rough planed them of old varnish and grit to clean wood with a DW675 power hand planer and then ran them through the DW735 to true and thickness to 3/4". Surprised and annoyed, I flipped the knives and continued with the project. I surfaced another 50 linear feet without incident. A few days later, I start another job that required surface planing some 2x10 Select structural Doug fir. These were new clean planks. I managed to surface two sides of one plank before the feed stopped again. Cleaning the rollers had no effect. The blades were SHOT! I tried just a very shallow pass (the material removal gauge didn't even register that material would be removed, but failed halfway through when the planer kicked out a 20 amp dedicated breaker. Cranked up the planer head and removed the plank. The resultant stopped cut was barely perceptible, perhaps less than 1/64th of an inch. Hardly a heavy cut! I've seen some snipe that was greater. So, now I've got two planers and both down! I've ordered replacement knives, but what a PITA. The knives on the Jet were three years since replacement with a huge amount of varied lumber under their belt and although not sharp, still managed to bull through some 2x10s without complaint. I've found some aftermarket knives for the DW735 online at Infinity Cutting [...]. Apparently not laminated or reversible, but anything is better than the stock knives!
We have been pleased with the DW735 Planer, it works well for our needs. The knives are the weak point in the system. They seem to wear quickly. This could be due to the abrasive nature of the particular wood (Makore) we are milling at this time. I think DeWalt does a good job overall but could do better with the knives.
The DW735 is a very expensive planer. For LESS MONEY, one can purchase a planer that has good blades that can be resharpened, and for which blades are available on a secondary market - including carbide. Not with this machine!
Other reviewers have pointed to the problem - these blades are disposable, expensive, and can't be sharpened, and they are the heart of the system. Go look elswhere before you consider buying one of these. If you are even considering planing hardwood, look for a machine that has secondary market knives, preferably carbide, and don't waste your time on stuff like the blades supplied with the DW 735 that probably won't last more than a few hours (or minutes)into the job. When planing hard maple, I had tear-out almost with the first pass, and never recovered from it.
Just to make my point, when I went to "reverse" the blades on my machine, the "new" edge wouldn't even put a crease in my fingernail let alone cut paper. If even a new edge won't cut, no wonder tear-out is a problem.
Don't bother with this one. Look for replaceable knives, preferably on a secondary market by a manufacturer who cares.
When it was time to get a planer, I knew I had to get a portable. I do some remodel work and wanted something that could come with me when my shop was too far away. For a portable, the planer can't be beat. It is heavy (which is great when you're feeding stock) and it ejects chips like nothing else. The issue of course is the pesky blades, and therein lies the trade-off.
I don't do enough milling to mind having to shift, reverse, and replace blades every 6-12 months. I tend to work mostly with hard maple, rough-sawn white oak, and fir. I've found that the 200 bf number is probably about right if you're looking for what some consider a "finished" surface. I've had more problems with the blades getting nicks before they get dull. My stock looks clean, but I've resorted to milling up a lot of stock with the first pass through an old set of knives and a finish pass with a new set. For this reason, I think it would be really frustrating to someone who does a lot of volume. For me, it just isn't an issue.
Now that Infinity Tools has released replacement blades (HSSK-041) here on Amazon for <$10 more (price as of 1/2008) that CAN BE RE-SHARPENED, I'll be trying those next.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd still go with this planer.'

Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop Battery
If you have shopped around for Dell laptop batteries, you know that this one is WAY cheaper than the one that Dell sells directly. My original Dell battery only lasted 2 years so why would I go to Dell and pay $150 for a replacement when I could get a no-frills brand battery for only $28 including shipping? Even if this no-frills battery only lasts me 6 months, I am still way ahead of the game. OK, I will come down from my soapbox and tell you that this $28 battery fit perfectly into our Dell laptop, and performs well. After a full charge, it runs the laptop for many hours before needing a recharge. Even at $100, this would be a great deal. At $28, this is a no-brainer. I recommend this battery for anyone who needs a replacement or spare battery for thier Dell laptop. NEW Laptop/Notebook Battery for Dell Inspiron 1525 1526 1545
I tried to save money and it came back to bite me. The battery does not charge. My Dell Inspirion 1545 says plugged in not charging. It didn't work straight out of the package. VERY disappointing! Sadly, I even read the reviews of this happening to others and thought surely it wouldn't happen to me. How could someone sell a faulty item and get away with it? I so wish I had just bought a battery from Dell. I guess its time to read the return policy. I will update after I return it.
Dell's battery that came in my wife's laptop would never provide more than 2 hours of up time. I complained to Dell, but you know how that goes. This replacement battery provides double the original battery provided.NEW Laptop/Notebook Battery for Dell Inspiron 1525 1526 1545
let me start out by saying that I was quite skeptical of buying a battery online for half the price that Dell offers them at, but being the extremely broke college student that I am, I really didn't have much of a choice. Let me tell you that so far, this product is great. (its only been a few days, but all seems well) Fits perfectly into my inspiron 1525, and holds a charge for over 3 hrs while surfing the internet and through constant use. I would suggest this product to anyone and am extremely satisfied. great product, and it arrived at my door within 4 days. Will change my rating to a 5 star after i have owned it for a month or so if it continues to work like this.
This battery works perfectly well for my Dell Inspiron 1525, but it turns out the battery was not the problem. I was getting (plugged in, not charging) message and I thought the battery just died? The real problem after getting the new battery and it still didn't charge, was the AC Adaptor? The computer worked with the AC Adaptor but it just didn't charge for some reason? I tried another adaptor from my wife's Dell and it worked and started charging the battery. I guess I will just keep the battery for later. Now I just need to get a new AC Adaptor.
Battery initially didn't work with my laptop. I contacted customer service for help and they sent me a condescending email treating me like an ignorant child. I had to look for an outside source to get the battery working and once I did it only holds a charge for less than 2 hours if I'm lucky on low power settings. Also after leaving negative feedback their customer service department has harassed me sending me multiple emails trying to get me to change my review feedback (I also want to note that they immediately contacted me after the negative feedback unlike when I initially contacted them for help and it took them a few days). I highly advise looking for your battery replacement from a different seller.
It seemed to work for about a week but then stopped accepting a charge. Fortunately, Amazon stands behind the products that they sell. They made it easy for me to return it for a full refund. I will try again to find a functional replacement laptop battery.
I've had my Inspiron 1545 for about a year and a half (bought it new) and first my charging cable died out of nowhere, then I got an alert saying my battery was basically dying for good. Dell wanted me to shell out $130 for this cable. With expedited shipping, I still paid $100 less and the battery works perfectly. It's in my computer right now as I type this. Long story short, Dell is a terrible, money hungry company who drastically overcharges for shoddy equipment, and items like this are the perfect solution.'

Miniplug To Rca Adapter - ipod accessories, cable
For those who are not sure what this product does...it connects a single headphone jack (found on portable audio equipment) to right/left audio jack connectors on an audio receiver. So if your looking to hook up say your mp3 player or portable cd player to the receiver of your home stereo system look no further, you've found the right product.
I use this Belkin splitter to attach my muvo (mp3 flash player) and ,sometimes, my mp3 portable iriver cd player to my stereo system. Works great. I don't have a problem with the connection being loose, but I don't have an ipod to test this out with. My mp3 cd players and the few flash mp3 players I've tried work fine with this. Belkin, as usual, offers a quality product.
Cheap, works well, recommended. Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter 1-Mini Plug/2-RCA Plugs (6ft)
I purchased this splitter because I have tv shows on my laptop that I would rather watch on my 42'' Plasma HDTV, and unfortunately S-video cables don't transmit sound as well as video. So I bought this, plugged it into the headphone jack on my laptop and into the Audio inputs on my tv, and low and behold it worked like a charm! Finally I don't have to watch on a big screen while listening to the speakers on my laptop...
Don't let them fool you.
I love those endearing geeks at the Apple store as much as the next guy, but- I swear- they'll look you straight in the eye and try to convince you that you need to spend lots of cash if you want to play your iPod through your stereo.
And you do need to play your iPod through your stereo. Once you've gotten into the spirit of things, once you've spent those lonely hours crafting your playlists, you can't go back to shuffling CDs for your guests. At this point I have my "Warming Up" playlist, which transitions to the "Early Happening" list, then "Now We're Cooking" and finally the "Cooling Down" playlist. I even got carried away and made my Shiva playlist. In the completely unexpected and unfortunate event of my premature death ["God forbid! Khas Vesholem!" then spitting three times], please check my iPod for a list to play on shuffle mode during the nights of intense mourning. Enjoy the tunes. Some are meant to tug at the heart strings but others are a rollicking good time. Turn to each other and remark on what a shame it is, "of all people, Marc would have enjoyed this the most."
I got off topic there, sorry, but the point is, you need these cords to play your iPod or MP3 player through your stereo, but that's all you need. Now I know there are audiophiles out there who will argue the importance of spending a lot more money on a product that is better sound quality. I have a buddy who talks about this stuff all the time. He told me that, even the overtones that are out of the range of human hearing need to be transmitted faithfully because your body can feel the difference in the vibrations. He said it with such authority that I believed him. You know the type. He takes over the bar at parties because he knows the exact right way to mix drinks. He can talk endlessly about barbecue sauce. But, one day, he told me he really likes that really insipid James Blunt song. He even argued that it was well written. I try not to be judgmental but I just can't take him seriously anymore. Anyway, I don't get worked up about sound quality. It wasn't that long ago that we all listened to music on tapes with that hissing background noise, or listened to LPs with their pops and scratches, and it was fine. Just tune into the music and don't worry about the other stuff, take some breaths, work on your radical acceptance skills and you should be okay.
Cable works great and the length is just right for what I intended to use it for. With most cable purchases, it is strongly recommended that the buyer know exactly what length is needed. Too long and it gets bulky and cumbersome, not to mention it doesn't look great to have cables tangled everywhere. Too short and you'll be buying yet another cable.
I found this cable to be really useful for connecting my PC to a home theater TV system. Most PC's come with the standard DVI port and that hooks up to a flat-screen via a DVI/HDMI connector. HDMI can transmit/receive both digital video and audio. Unfortunately, the PC DVI port only transmits digital video.
This cable will solve that conundrum by allowing the audio from the PC to go to a home theater system that has the Red/White (also called the L/R or R/L, I don't recall) port to be connected. Just hook up the black 3.5 mm jack to the PC audio-out and the Red/White to the sound system and the connection's done.
Some work on the home theater or flat-screen settings may need to happen. This does take some thinking of and visualisation of the setup to be done, preferably before any work's done. Once it's done, you've got an internet TV setup w/o buying any special electronics besides the PC, flat-screen and maybe the home theater sound system. - Y Cable - Audio - Cable - Ipod Accessories'

Carrying Case
I recently compared many brands and styles while looking for a larger CD case for my collection. I ended up deciding on this one, as it seemed preferable to all other options I've looked at. The "pages" hold 92 CDs, and there are an additional 8 slots inside the front cover, making for a total capacity of 100. The clear plastic makes it easy to quickly flip through and find what you're looking for, and yet the slots are still sturdy enough to hold the CDs in place and afford some protection - I've seen other cases that are so flimsy the CDs will just fall right out of their slots at the slightest disturbance. And for its large storage capacity, this case is still of a size that lends itself to portability - whereas the models that hold 128+ CDs begin to get rather ungainly. The handle on the spine is also nice, making it easy to carry. I would highly recommend this product. Case Logic CDW-92 Nylon CD/DVD Wallet 100-Capacity (Black)
Seems like one aspect most other reviewer are missing is the binder. The binder that holds the sleeves in is what sold me on this case. I own 5 other larger cases that hold 280+ discs with metal rings and 3 hole sleeves. While the higher capacity is nice the sleeves tend to rip off the binder and you end up having to buy replacements.
Not with this case though, the sleeves are held in by 2 wide plastic "rings" keeping the sleeve very secure on there. I have very little worry that the sleeve would rip out of the binder in a case where you flip too fast.
Other than that I actually put a CD book/insert into a slot and put the disc in the same slot and it fits well. A little snug, but not to the point where I stretch the plastic or anything. This is great for PC games where the CD Key is printed on an insert, I can put it all in the binder and not have to worry about losing all those #'s.
All around, feels like good quality, case logic usually does. It's not flawless, but I haven't seen much better.
if you dont mind the size of this cd holder then its pretty good. i got it for $14.99 on sale and so far its worked pretty decently for me. it has extra pockets on the side that can hold a couple of extra cds/dvds. the only problem that i could see is the pages, they seem a lilttle flimsy when i turn it, but it seems to hold up. not bad for the price
I read the previous reviews regarding this item and definitely agree that it was a good choice. I carry it in my car and the sleeves are easy to pull the CD from but also tight enough to keep them secure. I would buy this product again as well as recommend it highly.
This case is designed with ease of use in mind. The new binder system that is used within this case makes turning pages very simple.
The oval shaped rings are now plastic instead of cheap metal. This means that instead of warping with pressure, it bends and regains its shape.
This wallet does lay flat on a service to allow for quick and easy access to all 100 discs.
There is only enough page slots to hold 92 discs in the wallet, the other 8 that it holds go in the front of the wallet for "now playing" storage.
This cd case is an excellent companion in the car, and it is the best i have found that holds 92 cd's. Although it is a little bulky, it can always be set in the backseat or in a closet. If you have a large cd collection, case logic is definitly your best bet.
I bought six of these to store all my CD's for work (and I've got a lot of CD's). At first I was concerned that they might be too big to fit neatly in my standard corporate Steelcase cubicle's desk drawer since Amazon lists the dimensions at 8.1 x 12.7 x 3.5 inches. Fortunately for me, Amazon's dimensions are *wrong*. By my ruler, the actual dimensions of the Case Logic CDW92 nylon CD wallet are 7.75" x 11.5" x 3.4". With the longest dimension being 11.5", I can place the CDW92's 11.5" length across the width of my 12" wide desk drawer. At 3.4" thick (it might bump up to 3.5" when filled, I haven't tried it yet), seven of these will fit nicely in a 24" long drawer. Fortunately, these *do* have sturdy nylon handles (you can't see it in the picture here or at Case Logic's website), so pulling them out of the drawer is easy. (See my pics in the customer images section).
Highly recommended if you need to store a lot of CD's in a desk drawer.
This item is perfect for a growing CD or DVD collection. Disks can slide into and out of the pockets easily and there is a section inside the front cover that fits about 10 disks. I would recommend this to any music or movie enthusiast.'

Ceramic Flat Iron - hair care, hair straightener
I have very fine, medium-thick hair that's wavy and all my life I have been struggling to get it to stay straight without frizzies. My hair is straight after blow drying and using a curling iron to smooth it out, but 20 minutes later my hair doesn't look as smooth anymore. I'd never tried a flat iron before but thought that since I was essentially using a large curling iron to smooth it down in the same manner, maybe a flat iron would be the way to go. Since I'd never had one before I came here and did some extensive research into what type to get. I knew that they could be very expensive and was willing to pay if it was worth it, but luckily came across this item. It was so cheap that I figured if it didn't work well, so be it, I wouldn't be broke because of it and I'd just go buy another. Well, there was no need to worry because this thing works great. My hair has never looked this good in my life. The first time I used it I went out and everyone was asking me, what did you do to your hair, it looks great. Even on a day when it's raining my hair stays straight. It used to be that even a hint of rain or humidity and my hair would start to fuzz up, but no more. And I'm finally getting used to it, where it was taking me what seemed forever to straighten all my hair I now have down to a science and it takes just minutes to do. If you're new to flat irons and thinking of getting one of those ultra expensive models, do yourself a favor and try this one first, you won't be sorry and you'll have saved yourself a ton of money. Oh, and my stylist says that Andis is a very good brand, they have been making professional dog and people grooming tools for a long, long time.Andis 67095 1-Inch Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron
This is the best straightener I've ever used--and you can't beat the price either! I have coarse hair that is part wavy, part curly and part straight and is also fairly frizzy. This works like a dream. My hair is so soft, smooth and shiny after I use it (no more waves or frizz). I started using it two weeks ago and every day someone new tells me how good my hair looks. Andis makes a much better straighener than Conair (my Conair was a piece of junk that didn't do anything for my hair). It's easy to use and the different heat settings are great.
This flat iron also makes great curls! I have long fine hair...and a ton of it. I always run into trouble with regular curling irons...it curls great, then falls within a few hours, even with a lot of product in my hair. I saw flat iron curls a few weeks ago and decided to try it myself. The Andis flat iron was the mid-priced one at a local store. My first attempt at making curls with this flat iron was a great success! It is so simple, and the curls are so full and bouncy...and they are staying in my hair...without product!! If you are looking for a different type of curl...go with this flat iron! I am very happy with this product!Andis 67095 1-Inch Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron
I was searching for a cheap flat iron to store at my boyfriend's house so that I would not have to transport my Solia 1 1/4'' Ceramic Tourmaline back and forth each weekend. I wanted a product that looked similar to my Solia since I was already accustomed to using it. I found this one and purchased it due to high reviews. It arrived the next day (bonus points), even though I received free shipping. At a price a little over $17, this item met all my expectations. Some reviewers on other sites have stated that this Andis is just as good if not better than a $100+ CHI, but I highly doubt that is so. When I opened the product from its plastic case, I could tell right away that the quality was not comparable to my Solia which was ~$85. So if you are able to spend the extra dollars, definitely go for a higher end iron, as it is much worth its price. Anyhoos, as for this specific product, it is able to go up to 375 degrees (as stated on its packaging). However, the heat dial on the iron is not in units of degrees, rather it is on some sort of scale from 0-20. First I set the dial to 15, but felt the heat radiating from it from a foot away, so I truned the dial down to 10. It heated up in about a minute. I have found that I could get my hair straight on the first go if I just went slowly with a small section of hair at a time. I had permed my hair into loose waves last Decemeber, and now that it's grown out a bit, I have found the curls to look a bit awkward and prefer to straighten it when I have the time. For reference, I have thick, Asian hair that is naturally pretty straight (but now chemically permed). I was able to straighten my hair in less than 10 minutes, taking care to straighten the bottom, middle, and top portions separately. I used VO5 Heat Defense spray to protect my hair and let it dry prior to ironing. However, I did not feel that my hair was as smooth or as shiny as when I used my Solia. A couple times while I was ironing with the Andis, I could feel the plates catching a couple hairs and pulling them out (ouch). While this product is a good purchase for $17, I am glad that I will only be using this only the weekends and not everyday. - Andis - Hair Straightener - Flat Iron - Hair Care'

Rechargable Camera Battery - camera accessories, battery
The item I purchased was exactly what I needed for my new camera; it arrived way before the date I expected and in excellent conditions. I've only used it once and worked fine. I was somewhat surprised by the fact that the charge didn't last as long as I expected, but now that I know I'll be prepared next time. Kodak Digital Camera Battery Charger K8500-C
I am new at using Amazon, but the product I ordered was shipped quickly which I appreciate because I needed it for a trip that was planned. It was new and I was able to purchase the battery and charger cheaper than I could just get the battery at some other places on the web. Amazon, thank you for the excellent service and I look forward to make future purchases with you.
Best purchase I have made....I took over 200 pictures on vacation and charged it "just in case" but probably didn't have to. It was sitting on the shelf over a week and I turned it on and took several pictures of the blizzard! My old batteries would have been dead if it sat more than a day.
I bought this for my best friend due to the cost of the batteries in the store being $10 a piece, and not lasting long. This eliminates the need to buy batteries constantly & pays for it's self in just a few weeks :-) Very happy!!! We could never find this in stores in our area and was very happy to find this online. Shipping was very fast, only a few days even with the Christmas rush going on!
I broke the charger that came with the camera. This is to replace it, and got a third battery for backup. Be careful sliding the adaptor in the back of the charger. I broke off one contact. This time I just leave it all connected and at home. With three batteries I haven't had to charge up on the road. - Battery - Battery Charger - Camera Accessories - Rechargable Camera Battery'

Contractor Table Saw
A friend got this six months ago for job-site use. It cut pretty well right from the box. The fence has a rack-and-pinion system that is clever, but not quite perfect. We measured the alignment error and have two fixes. If you want to know about them so you can save some money, read on...
Using a TS Aligner, we checked the alignment of the fence. The fence was near-perfect when we backed up to the mark, (going right) but it skewed by as much as four or five-thousandths when we moved the fence to the left. That's because the connecting rod between the two gears flexes and there is some "slop" or "play" in the gears. This is more noticeable when approaching the mark from the right. Sometimes this is referred to "lash-back or back-lash."
The easy work-around was to always go past the mark (an inch or so to the left) , then roll the knob back slowly right to the mark and try not to overshoot. That works OK, and it is free, but it is a time-wasting nuisance and won't provide the consistent accuracy that good woodworking requires.
SO... we replaced the flimsy metal rod that connects the two rack-gears. Instead of the stock rod, we used hardened O1 tool rod, which doesn't twist or flex as easily. The rod costs $12 bucks. We also adjusted the two gears to remove the slop. (loosen set screw, twist gears forward together, then re-tighten) Now we had fair fence parallelism in both directions. Not bad for a twelve-dollar fix... but there is more.
After using the saw a while, several of us noticed it made burns marks even with reasonable feed-rates and a new blade. One rainy day, we got out the TS aligner again and checked all the critical alignments. Dewalt uses decent bearings, so the runout was not too bad. But there were a number of other small inaccuracies that added up: arbor run-out, slot-parallelism, fence alignment, blade-alignment etc.
It took about an hour of measuring, but the Dial indicator with the TS Aligner helped us get everything literally "dialed-in." Now this thing cuts as smoothly and accurately as our five-thousand dollar cabinet saws.
The secret is to choose a saw with good bearings and a design that allows adjustments.
Dewalt and Bosch contractor saws both qualify.
Use a dial indicator with a TS Aligner to accurately measure and adjust EVERYTHING. It takes an hour, but it is worth the effort MANY times over. If you buy a new saw in the box, you have to assemble it anyway, so that isn't much more work. ... You can get professional precision at a fraction of the cost of a cabinet saw. If you don't have a TS aligner, you can use a dial indicator with a magnetic base and a 1-2-3 block set.
We cut all kinds of mitered molding and trim. We make custom installations and complex speaker cabinets that require EXACT cuts. After we adjusted this with the TS Aligner, the noise-level was lower and blades stay sharp much longer. That's always a good sign!
The beautiful thing about this saw is that we can take it to a site, make measurements on a story-pole and cut exactly to the mark, repeatably and reliably. The saw's design allows you to adjust it, assuming you have the right adjustment tools. Those tools are inexpensive and pay for themselves very quickly. You get your money back fast because you waste less wood, blades last longer and the motor runs cooler when everything on the saw is tuned up.
This is a good saw because you can adjust it and it has accurate bearings. It takes some tweaking, but with a TS Aligner and a cheap dial indicator, you can get many times your money's worth! (About FIVE times in fact!) Highly recommended! DEWALT DW745 10-Inch Compact Job-Site Table Saw with 16-Inch Max Rip Capacity
When I saw this, I immediately thought of how handy it would be on the jobsite. I have a Bosch 4000 that I truly love & believe its the best 10" saw in it class, but its heavy and I don't always need the capacity of that saw. This "little" DeWalt is perfect for ripping 1x stock for trim work & the like. I've even had it up on my scaffold. I've found the fence to be dead on and very easy to adjust. The motor has plenty of power. I think DeWalt hit a home run with this saw...Now if it only came in a cordless version!!
Absolutely fantastic portable saw!! It's about time someone has offered a "portable" saw with small "stationary" power. This saw cuts through tough hardwoods with ease, so with it's compact size it is the perfect saw for small jobs without compromising power. I own the Bosch contractors table saw w/ gravity rise stand, another awesome portable saw, but when doing small jobs it's easier to not have to drag out a bigger saw to complete an easy job. The only draw back is the price and the chincy miter guage that comes with it.If they could cut the cost to $300 they would sell more of them but I paid more and am happy I did. I use it more than I thought I would. Other wise 5 stars easily...
My main complaint about the saw was the piercing, circular saw-type noise. I replaced the blade with a thin kerf Forrest Woodworker II and added a blade stabilizer from Rockler. The improvement in noise reduction and cutting ability was dramatic. I highly recommend this upgrade. The fence is great and dust collection works pretty well with a shop-vac (which drowns out the noise of the saw!).
I don't want to waste my breath here, so I'll just say its a good saw. I used it to rip hardwood flooring and found its smaller size perfect for the job. The reason we picked this one over others was the no monkey biz on the fence. The fence just snaps into place according to manufacture specifications. Its good as done; do it once and so far never again.
Its a little loud but that doesn't surprise me. Overall this is a prime saw. Its smaller size proved to be more functional than I would of imagined. The job went smoothy with this saw.'

Light Weight Rain Poncho
Good product. When folded, it is the length and width of my wallet, and about half the thickness, so it's really easy to carry around. The material is thin and flimsy, but perfect for the job. The "one size fits all" is very wide and I can wear it with my knapsack on my back, so it protects my knapsack also. This is great for my purposes, but it may not be great for everyone because it might be blown upwards on a windy day since the fit is so loose. Also, it's a bit shorter than I would have liked, it barely covers my knees and elbows and I'm only 5 feet 7 inches tall. I have not tested it in the rain yet.
It's mistakenly described as "assorted color", it's really all clear.
Altogether, it's certainly good to have. The price is good and I would not be able to carry a bulkier one with me when I travel, so I'm certainly happy to have it. Disposable Poncho One Size Fit All with Hood 20 Per Pack Assorted Color
There isn't too much to say about inexpensive rain ponchos but we took them on a five week trip when all we were carring was a duffle bag and one backpack! They are individually wrapped so you don't have to worry about them getting damaged when crammed into a bag. We did use ours and they were big enough and sturdy enough to keep us nice and dry. If you're looking for a small (disposable) poncho, these certainly will be just fine!!
Make no mistake, this is a DISPOSABLE poncho. Use it for one day and then throw it away. If you understand that, you will appreciate this poncho. I bought a stack of these from Amazon and I always keep one in my bag instead of a heavier, permanent poncho or an umbrella. When it rains, I throw on the disposable poncho. When I get home, I throw it in the trash. Sure, that's not very Earth-friendly, but it's convenient. As other reviewers have noted, it weighs next to nothing (less than 1 oz, I think).I always carry a rain hat to use in conjunction with one of these. You need the rain hat to keep the hood on (and keep rain out of your eyes/face/glasses). Ponchos don't work well in the driving rain or wind due to the hood always getting blown off and your face being exposed to rain. Putting a rain hat over the hood fixes this problem. Two thumbs up for this excellent product!
I haven't had a need to use one yet, but the size and weight are perfect to put a couple in your pocket for an emergency. They are quite sheer to afford the compactness, but should work to keep you dry if you caught in an unexpected storm. I put a couple of these in my golf bag, my backpack, my cars, my briefcase, and if need be my back pocket. The package has plenty to keep me covered.
These disposable ponchos are actually somewhat thicker than expected and can be reused if some care is taken. Being somewhat larger (wider) than the average person, the "one size fits all" doesn't always apply to me but these did fit fine with a little room to spare.
The ponchos are clear plastic and come in individual ziplock bags so they can be put back in after drying off, with careful folding. We are keeping some of these in our camper and in the glovebox of the cars so we will always have rain protection on hand when needed.
Highly Recommended!
CFH
These ponchos are terrific if you get stuck in a downpour without an umbrella. They are compact enough to carry in a pocket, handbag or automobile glove compartment. I am sending a couple to a friend in Florida which experiences heavy rains without notice all the time.'

Even with the negative reviews I decided to purchase this product because I had to have it like Yesterday. One of the bad reviews had mentioned getting an error message about the 32 Bit Version error coming up when installing. Well the same thing happened to me and the problem was that with my new computer there was already a trial version of this product on the computer so I uninstalled the version that came with the computer then when I went to install this product I had no problem so hopefully this will help anyone else that comes across that same problem. The product installed perfectly and works great. Hope this is helpful. Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010 - 1 User-2 PC [Download]
This is the 64-bit downloadable edition of the venerable Microsoft Office suite of programs. It makes some improvements on the "2007" version of the suite, though the changes from "2007" to "2010" are considerably more minor than the changes from the "2003" edition to "2007." The Office suite now uses a large top-of-the-screen "ribbon" interface, which for some is a blessing and for some a curse. The available menus within each of the programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) are supposed to be at least somewhat context sensitive, but I have found myself customizing the menus so that the functions I use most often are more or less universally available. In Word, the "comment" features are a bit improved, and the Outlook calendar functions are, while similar to the 2007 edition, much improved from the 2003 version. One final note: the 64-bit edition allows users to open very large spreadsheets and other files, but has some interaction issues with certain other programs (e.g., my X-1 Desktop Search program).
After researching Office 2010, Amazon had the best price and with free delivery, I had it within a week. I downloaded it on two of three computers that can be done and it was seamless and easy to do without tech. help needed. Haven't tried all the new stuff that comes with it but it is pretty easy to learn. Just keep pointing and clicking and you'll find whatever you need. I highly recommend 2010 as a very good upgrade over 2003 and 2007 that I had on two PC's.
Upgraded from Office 2007 to Office 2010. Needed the new video production features in PowerPoint. My upgrade from Office 2003 to 2007 was not pretty. Total new interfaces took a long time to learn--but finally worth it. This time not much at all new to learn. Also, my fear of loosing saved emails in Outlook was needless--very smooth transition to Outlook 2010 with NO loss of data. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint 2010 all SEEM to be a bit faster and more stable. Only major problem with the upgrade was that the Amazon.com downloader did NOT work--and Amazon was of no help in fixing their problem. But with the product key I bought from Amazon.com I was able to down load the new Office from a Microsoft site.
based on a few negative reviews from other sites and on Amazon.com, I put off purchasing Office 2010, waiting for the kinks to be worked out. But, having bought it I think they were wrong, and the users did not to cause the problems than they realized, as I downloaded the 64 bit version, installed it and have worked very well in all the applications with no errors happening.
Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010 - 1 User-2 PC [Download] I downloaded the software. When I attempted to get into Word; Excel; & Other Items, I received a message that the download could not be completed because the item was 32-bit and there were 64-bit items online. Spoke w/a Tech Rep who worked with me to correct the situation unsuccessfully. She has given me information on how to contact Microsoft Customer Service which I have yet to do. The problem appears to be Microsoft's. I was completely satisfied with the response and help of the Amazon.com Tech. Rep.
I had Home and Student 2007 but I decided to upgrade because of Outlook. The Outlook part of this suite is an excellent email provider. You have everything you need to stay organized daily. This software is marketed as a Home Office/Business software but if you like organization this is the product for Home Use as well. I highly recommend it! The Office suite update from 2007 t0 2010 was minor.
This product downloaded well with no kinks. Although I was used to Office 2007, Office 2010 has quite a few changes to it and is taking a while to pick up on all the different changes. I would not recommend this to a novice user. It is not user friendly.
Product works just fine once you actually get it installed. My problems was the amazon downloader kept malfunctioning to the point it took over half a day before I had the software installed. I bet it downloaded the 900MB item 5-6 times and failed to launch the installer all but the last time. I was truly at my wits end; regretting I had even tried this method. I am not sure why everyone insist on having their own downloader these days; it's like windows users do not know how to download anything. If you need a special key to install the software then whats up with the extra downloader. Why not keep it simple and provide an iso image or executable? You know an executable is the same way Microsoft handles it on their website. I should have just purchased it directly from Microsoft and yes I would have paid more for the software but it would have took less of my time and time is money. I am not sure I'll do try to download windows based software anymore until I have an option to bypass the super downloader. Amazingly enough I have downloaded mac software from amazon several times and not once had a problem. There was no special downloader needed just a simple file downloaded via a browser, like the good old days. - Word'

Lightweight - corded phone, corded
I was looking for some cheap phones to put in our bedrooms and living rooms. We no longer use a landline much since our cell phones have so many minutes. We now use the magic jack and only make occassional calls. I was hoping this phone would be a good choice.
Pros: cheap, nice looking
Cons: poorly made, when pushing the phone buttons it doesn't have much sound feedback to tell you if you've pushed it, the LED on the front has no light so you cannot see the numbers you are calling or the people calling you, and unfortunately it takes batteries to use the caller ID (that may be standard and I didn't knock of points for that, but it sucks).
Of the 4 phones I ordered, one was bad out of the box, but that could be a fluke. To me, it's a pain making a call, since you really have to pay attention when pushing the buttons. Most other phones give you a nice loud sound when pushing the number buttons.
All in all, I'm sorry I went so cheap on this phone, and wish I'd spent just a few dollars more and gotten something better. Uniden Black Slimline Corded Phone (Slim1260BK)
This phone has very good call quality and sound. The ringer can be switched off but the cord cannot be switched out nor the line cord so the length is set. It is light weight so when you pick up the receiver on a desk be careful because the cradle may come with you. It is more stable mounted on a wall but the cord is normal length. If you want a good basic phone for use during power failures or to use with a magic jack for traveling this phone fits the bill.
Why would anyone design a phone with buttons on the receiver where your hand goes? Easily-pushed buttons. That I never use for anything. It defies logic.
I accidentally hang up on my friends so often that I'm afraid they'll get a complex.
It's also so lightweight that I'm forever picking the whole phone up with the receiver enough that it falls down inconveniently. Horrible, horrible phone. If the maker has not already, they should issue a recall and replace all of these for free.
In stores, it is hard to find a simple corded phone. I think this was the only one @ Target when I purchased it.
In general, it's been hard to find a simple corded phone that works well in several years. The quality is usually terrible. The sound is often poor. I guess customers who want a few simple extra phones are not of interest any more.
This phone sounds great and the Caller ID screen is easy to read and use.
2 major drawbacks:
1. The hook hanger for the handset is lousy for an on-the-wall install
- You need to be careful how you hang up the handset or it can fall to the floor
2. The phone handset cord is built-in and cannot be extended
- No real excuse for this one, other than to be cheap... and 2 sockets for a handset cable, please!
The phone looks good and has good sound quality. One MAJOR down point- the phone cord from the headset to the base cannot be replaced. The cord is about 3 feet long so you have to stand right next to it to use the phone. I had bought an extra longer extension cord with my order as recommended by Amazon. Turned out that it wouldn't work with it. Would not recommend if you are looking to sit down and talk or need something with a longer cord...
The phone is well constructed, but has several inherent problems.
The first is related to the little button on the handset that is supposed to pop out. Some complain, claiming when their face hits this button, they hand up the line. I've had the OPPOSITE problem; when I pick up the handset from the base, the button doesn't always come out (meaning I've not yet answered the phone) and I have to bang or tap the handset to answer the phone.
The second problem is that the caller ID display is very hard to read and is virtually impossible to read unless you are looking directly perpendicular to the phone. That means if the phone is on the desk, you have to get right on top of the phone to read the caller ID, and if the phone is on the wall, you must get directly in front of the phone - at the same level - to read the caller ID. So if you want this feature, you should mount it on the wall at the exact height of your eyes - and hope there's no one significantly shorter or taller who will have to answer the phone.
The last of this phone's disappointments is that NEITHER wire is changeable. That is, the wire from the phone to the wall is hard-wired into the phone. If the little clip breaks on the wall plug, you're SOL. And the coiled wire from the base to the handset is also hard-wired, so if you want a longer or shorter handset cord, no deal.
Other than these concerns, it seems like a solidly built phone, and the sound clarity is good.
I don't have a lot to say about this basic phone with Caller ID.
For the price (11.00 delivered) I don't know if you could do better.
Sound & Build quality seem fine.
Comments about phone's base being lifted up & falling when you answer call, is operator error. The little plastic do-hickey that the handset spring loaded button rests on is reversible. If the hand-set is lifted with the base - slide the do-hicky off and reverse it or even try removing and the problem should be solved. - Bad - Corded - Telephone - Corded Phone'
