Cholesterol - cholesterol, food

I bought this item as a gift for my health conscious mother. She is very picky about oils so I was a little worried, but decided to buy it anyway for her. Well, she really likes it. She uses it as part of her homemade salad dressing. She told me that the bottles lasted her for many months. As with hemp oil like others....a little bit goes a long way. I do wish though that it came in glass (reusable bottles) versus the plastic ones that are thrown away. Nutiva Organic Hemp Oil, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I am not a vegan or anything, I was just looking to add some healthy fats to my diet, so I tried this product, and I could not be more impressed. The shipping is fast (to PA) and very reasonably priced, and the product quality could not be higher. The oil comes in black light-proof containers, and keeps very well (I keep mine in the fridge). If you are considering this product, buy it. You will not be disappointed. - Nutiva - Hemp - Cholesterol - Food'

Satellite Radio - portable, home kits

We travel quite a bit and having XM has made our trips much more enjoyable. Not having to constantly search for music, talk and news we wan in the vehicle and its great. We use the FM connect in the vehicle and the direct connect dock at home and in the RV. XM XADH1 Universal Dock-and-Play Home Kit (Black)

The dock works great, setup was easy however, I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed. I did have to spend time on the phone with Serius to get my radio set up (no reflection on the docking station). It took several tries before it found the satellite. I have the car kit too and it is so easy to move the radio from home to the car.

I recently purchased and activated an XM radio. By adding this home docking kit I am also now able to play XM radio in the house, through my stereo system. XM has become even more of a bargain. Very happy I made this move. Set-up was easy...the antenna is sitting inside, near a southward window, mainly picking up XM's terrestrial signals. Works great. Still 3 bars of reception, as I receive in the car.

Recently got XM radio for my car and then I saw this kit was available, so got it for my office. It was very easy to set up and it's been working great! Now i just take my radio from my car into work each day and get to listen to satellite radio all day long! Awesome product!! - Home Kits - Satellite Radio - Xm - Portable'

Highly Recommended - cordless doorbell, wireless doorbell

This wireless door bell is just what I was looking for. It has a button for both the front door and the back door. Although the range of the signal is a bit exaggerated it was enough for me to position the bell chime to pick up the signal from both my front and back door. The bell chime works from the electricity of a wall outlet, not a battery. A small 12v battery is needed for both the front and rear door buttons, but those batteries come free with this set. The bell chime itself is nice and small, so that it is easy to plug it into the bottom ofwall outlet and still have room on the top plug of the outlet to plug in something else. Let's see how long it lasts. So far, I am delighted. Heath Zenith SL-6167-C Wireless Plug-In Door Chime Kit with 2 Push Buttons, White

I purchased this door chime yesterday and it was so easy to install I am amazed. I plugged the chime into a spare wall socket then used the double stick tape on the 2 buttons and placed one on the front door and one on the back door. No problems installing at all! The front rings a Westminister chime and the back door a one note ding - helps in knowing which door to answer!

The chime has a volume control which is very cool. I have it turned up all the way and can hear it from anywhere in the house.

I bought this doorbell because last week I was working in my office room and on the computer and didn't hear a friend knocking on the door at 10am. He returned at 1pm and I saw him at the door. Oooops.

Since I spend so much time on the computer, I knew then a door bell was needed.

Great so far and got a great price for the door chime as well.

This doorbell is a great inexpensive replacement for an electric doorbell. When my front doorbell broke, I called an electrician and the service call alone was $75. I've been using this for over a month and regardless of temperature (it's been zero degrees) it works perfectly. I'm happy with my purchase.

It advertise 100 feet range, but I think it's for open air, not for walls between the devices. Who is using this via open air anyway? Who is using this all outdoor or indoor? The range more like 10 feet at most if not via open air. They should also advertise the product both indoor and outdoor ranges so I don't have to waste my time and just move on look for something else.

all features accurately described; volume adjustability range was suitable for an open office area; front door/back door chime selection allowed flexibility for installation; plug-in to standard power outlet facilitated installation and long-term maintainability.

I purchased this to replace a battery-operated unit that had stopped working. It works better than the old unit did, though I wish there was a battery-back up in the receiver box in case of power failure. - Wireless Doorbell - Door Chime - Cordless Doorbell - Wireless Door Chimes'

Laminating Supplies - scotch, home laminator

These pouches are very nicely priced for how many you get and the quality of the pouches. They work best in machines that you don't need to use a carrier sleeve with like the Scotch(TM) TL901 Thermal Laminator 15.5 in x 6.75 in x 3.75 in 2 roller system. They are 3 mm pouches and they seal very well, crystal clear and very shiny.

If you're a crafter, they make a good way to protect non-dimensional paper art, to make custom dry erase boards as gifts or for yourself, or to protect recipe cards. Scotch(TM) Thermal Laminating Pouches, 9 Inches x 11.4 Inches, 50 Pouches (TP3854-50)

Whatever you do, make sure that the machine that uses this product doesn't need a sleeve to operate. I found that this gives the best seal for the lamination with the machines that are run through without the lamination sleeve.

If you are in the market for laminating supplies for your Scotch Thermal Laminator, this is the only product to buy; you can buy the 50 pouches or the 20 pouches. My guess is that 50 pouches are the more economic deal. If you only buy the pack of 20 pouches, you might as well go to an office supply store and have them perform the job; that way, the laminator won't sit in the box while you forget you have it. Real serious people who laminate projects keep it nearby; there are so many uses for it.

The Thermal Laminating Pouches also come in three smaller sizes (in the event you aren't clever enough to cut through the laminated product). The sizes are for 5" by 7" photos or whatever, 4" by 6" photos, and also for ID cards. Personally, the creative person will go for the 50 Thermal Laminating Pouches and become a creative cutter, "after the laminating has been completed".

Take a look at the previous review for the Scotch Thermal Laminator, preceding this review; they are a great match.

I have lamenated a dozen or more items with no bubbling nor burning. I used these with Scotch TL901 lamentator. I lamentated standard 20 wt paper as well as thicker presentation 32 wt paper. I have used these to make bookmarks and feel it provides sufficient stiffness. So far These are the only laminating pouches I have used. I believe that the laminator is just as significant as the pouches.

I selected these pouches even though more costly than others advertised on Amazon because with Super Saver free shipping, they were a couple of bucks cheaper than the no name 5mil pouches offered which required an additional S&H which was the supplier means of adding to their profit margin. Be leery and look at total costs.

I have the scotch thermal laminator, and those pouches are the brand that goes with it, I never buy anything else, the output is hard as a sheet of glass and stays intact and never peels off. I recommend it all the way.

I was looking for the 5 mil, but couldn't find them. These 3 mil pouches are pretty thick though. I've used almost half of my pack and there has been no bubbles or burning. I've not needed to run them thru a second time, either. Like others, I wish I could order larger quantities at a discount, but the product is great! I've made workbox grids for school and a chore chart and added velcro dots and the laminated pieces have held up very nicely to little 5 year old hands!

This product works great! The feature I love is that the laminated sheets come out cool instead of hot. It is not a bulky unit and does not require a lot of storage space. I use it and place back in its original box until I need it again. I will add that after purchasing it online I found the exact same one in walmart about $9.00 cheaper. I have no complaints about this product.

THESE POUCHES ARE GREAT FOR 8.5 X 11 PICTURES, CHARTS, LETTERS, CERTIFICATES, ETC. THEY CAN ALSO BE CUT TO FIT SMALLER ITEMS BEFORE LAMINATING OR YOU CAN CUT AROUND ITEMS AFTER LAMINATING TO LEAVE A SMALL BORDER. THIS IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE THAT USES A LAMINATOR.

I purchased both the laminating machine and pouches of various sizes for my mother this Christmas. She is a laminating junkie and laminates just about everything she can including pictures, proof of insurance certificates, newspaper clippings, recipe cards and even recipes pulled from magazines. Its important to note that my mother is about as anti tech as one can possibly get. It took me a couple years just to get her operating a Mac laptop efficiently. When it comes to technology, she finds even the simplest of things difficult, lol. Anyways, she figured out how to operate the laminating machine in just a few minutes. That's how simple it is to use this system.

The pouches are fantastic as they make aligning of the item super easy. You just pop the item into the pouch and send it through the laminating machine and your all set. The quality is absolutely perfect. No air bubbles and no creases, just a perfectly laminated item. Considering how cheap the laminating machine is, something like this is a no-brainer for people like my mother. The pouches run anywhere from 20 to 33 cents each depending on size.

Bottom line - This system is extremely affordable and about as easy as something can be to operate. The lamination of important documents is just a smart idea and with a system as easy and affordable as this.....well there is really no reason not to. Highly recommended.

Walk-behind Rotary Mowers - cordless electric mower, cordless mower

Pros: Lightweight and ergonomiclly designed. Quiet and extremely easy to use. The highth adjustment is rediculously easy to use as is the self propelled function. Easy to clean and cuts a standard lawn well. Mulches, bags, and rear discharges equally well.

Cons: Lacking in brute power. The self propulsion doesn't go slow enough for certain circumstances and it lags a bit. It takes a few seconds to get up to full speed. The safety button that allows you to engage the cutting function isn't easy to find without looking for it. It could use being raised slightly or textured to be found by feel. The cutting function bale has a very light spring and the blade can stay cutting once you let go. The charging port is in an akward area to use and you must bend over to insert the charging cord. While these are concerns, there is nothing glaringly bad about the mower.

The mower comes almost completely built and 5 minutes is all that's needed to unpack the mower from the box, assemble it, and plug it in. My battery was also almost completely charged and was showing a green light (Ready for use) in about 8 minutes of charging.

My first use was after a brutal rain storm. I had given the lawn about 6 hours to dry out and it had been growing for 2 weeks. It was 6 inches high in several patches and the grass was very wet. I was curious as to how well the mower would cut though. I was, in a word, impressed. The mower cuts quietly and rolls easily along with either the power propulsion or just a push. I ran into the taller sections where I had to back up and go over the same area twice but that was to be expected, even with a gas mower. It would have helped had I raised the mower to it's full highth but I kept it at level 3 (Out of 7, 7 being the highest). I was bagging here and the mower picked up all of the trimmings. I was able to finish my larger than standard tract home lawn in one charge, even with the wet grass. The mower bogs down just like a gas mower will however it will bog easier. I was cutting bermuda grass/clover.

My second use was today, 6 days later and the lawn was still in good shape from the last mowing. Plus, it was much drier. I started out bagging and this time, the mower breezed through everything with no problems. I was able to mow with one pass over everything and the motor barely struggled through the highest areas. Halfway through, I emptied the bag and switched to the mulch function (Just the turn of a nob). The mower functioned better than I expected, leaving no clumps of clippings yet not bogging down either. I finally went after some foot tall weeds with the rear discharge function. The motor, as expected, bogged down and I had to back off and make several passes to get a clean cut. I ended up with a cleanly mowed area with clumps of clippings, expected with such tall weeds.

I noticed several things: The charging connectors, while fragile looking, are actually quite stout. I use these same connectors in an industrial application and have no worries about them. I don't expect them to fail for a very long time, if ever. The mower can be hard to turn or pull back unless you push the mower forward several inches to allow the self propulsion to dissengage. Once dissengaged, the mower is easy to manuver and actually, lighter than my old snapper. It only took me a few turns before I figured this out and now, it's easy to release the self propulsion bale and let the mower travel several inches before trying to turn or reverse. Wet soggy grass will build up on the underside of the mower and also in the discharge chute if the bag is too full for the clippings to be expelled into it. I ended up flipping the mower on its side and scraping the buildup off with a piece of scrap wood, then continuing with my mowing. You shouldn't have this problem with a properly dry lawn. Rinsing the underside of the mower before you put it away is advised because the buildup will come off much easier if it is fresh, verses dried and stuck on.

In closing, I am happy with this mower and the job it has done so far on my lawn. People who have St. Augustine type lawns or larger than a normal tract home lawn will probobly be better suited with a gasoline engined mower. These battery powered mowers are getting much closer in performance to their gas engined cousins but still have a long way to go. For those that have a hard time starting a gasoline mower, who dislike the fumes and maintainance, or (like me) am interested in a newer technology, then the battery powered black and decker may be the mower for you. The only reason I felt this mower deserved 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of power for thick st. augustine type lawns. Black & Decker SPCM1936 19-Inch 36-Volt Cordless Electric Self-Propelled Lawn Mower With Removable Battery

PROS: No cord, gas or smoke, easy to adjust cutting height, only minor assembly required, seems well-built and designed, quiet, 36 volts.

CONS: Heavy at 75 lbs., flimsy charger plug and wire, more difficult to turn because of length, made mainly out of plastic - although this may not be so bad in the long run if you live in a humid area.

I would recommend the self-propelled version mainly because of the mower's heavy weight. The rear drive wheels are great for going up an incline, but take a bit of getting used to. You can't just push down on the handle bar and raise the front wheels slightly off the ground to make a quick turn. After you learn to quickly connect and disconnect the drive wheels as you mow and turn, it becomes much easier. You just have to learn to work with it, rather than force it to go your way.

I like how the drive wheels slip gradually into gear, (nice!) but the slowest forward speed is not slow enough for cutting through tall grass unless you mow the lawn twice at different cutting heights - which the manual recommends. With a mower like this, (or any electric mower I suppose) you cannot directly compare it with gas-powered mowers with 3-4 times the horse power. But this is a great alternative and most probably the trend all mowers will eventually follow.

The manual states that it takes 12 hours to charge, but for me it charged in half that time. The charging times will probably increase as the years go by until the battery needs to be replaced. They also recommend that it remain plugged-in all the time - I assume to prolong battery life. Because of its weight, turning the mower on to its side to clear an obstruction may take some doing. Again, that's to be expected.

Please don't assume this to be a negative review. This is a different kind of mower which can't be directly compared with a gasoline-powered machine. So far, I am quite pleased with this purchase. - Cordless Electric Mower - Cordless Lawn Mower - Self-propelled - Cordless Mower'

Garmin Nuvi Mount - garmin accessories, garmin nuvi

we seem to lose the suction cup and have had to replace it a couple of time(leaving it in rental cars, falling out of brief cases, etc) So that is our biggest problem. This suction cup stays on the windshield very well, and is easy to release it from there. The product does what it is supposed to do- mount the Garmin. Would recommend it if you need something to mount your Garmin. Garmin Suction cup mount

The suction mount does what it's supposed to do. It'll grab onto any nonporous, flat surface and provide a firm mounting location for several of the Garmin GPS models (I am personally using a c550). However, a bit of caution must be exercised if this is used on a window and left there while driving in locations of high heat. I am just about ready to order my second replacement suction mount because the rubber suction cup has been adhering to the window by melting the rubber. The suction cup remains permanently fixed to the window until it's pushed or pulled from its position. After which there is a nice black ring of rubber left on the surface of the window. After the melted rubber has been removed, the suction cup no longer holds suction on any surface. The seal (or lack thereof) generated by the irregular surface of the suction cup perimeter is no longer sufficient to support the GPS. I may consider picking up a friction-weight mount for the dashboard next time.

See: Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount for nüvi Series and StreetPilot C5XX Series GPS Navigators (C530, C550, and C580)

I left my suction mount at my last car rental. I needed a replacement but didn't want to spend a fortune. This product is a Garmin OEM and a not a cheapo knockoff. It fit my Nuvi 200 perfectly. Same exact manufacturer's product id (010-10747-00).

In the past I had bought this item as a knock off Garmin Suction cup Mount. It's cheaper, and I got it quicker, but it did not work as well.

This one has all the bells and whistles. It's got little holes cut in the ball. The rubber part of the base is more pliable. Most importantly, it fits snugly on the back of my GPS. The other did not. When I drove, my GPS would fall with out warning.

It's worth the money to have something that works well. There are enough distractions when driving. You don't need a falling GPS. - Garmin Mount - Suction Cup - Garmin Nuvi - Garmin Accessories'
