Romantic Suspense - erotic romance, erotic

If I could rate this with a negative star I would. there wasn't much to the story just a lot of sex. I forced myself to finish it hoping it would get better, it never did. Then to make it worse, after you're invested in these charater and it looks like it will all work out, he cheats on her (with her mother). And that's how the book ends.!!! WORST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!! The Boss (Black Lace)

Sex taken to a not so great place. Clearly written for a UK audience, this book is much more gritty and gross (not sexy) than I expected it to be after reading the review. Don't judge this book by it's cover or you'll be sadly disappointed. - Erotic - Romantic Suspense - Erotic Romance'

Home Entertainment Projectors - 3d ready, projector

The qumi is an awsome little projector. I am currently using it to project an 80" picture in my bedroom and I have alot of ambient light and the picture still looks awsome. It is great that it has a bunch of connections and that vivitek includes a mini-hdmi to hdmi, a mini-hdmi to mini-hdmi and a vga connector. My only negative is that those cables are really short less than a foot. If you are looking for a projector I would get one of these right away. Vivitek Qumi Q2 300 Lumen WXGA HDMI 3D-Ready Pocket DLP Projector (Black)

Let's just say I have own an Optoma HD65, due to the lamp and power outages around here, I've opted for an LG HX300(G). I was able to live with it fine and dandy but wanted something around 720p instead of 1080p. I don't need 1080p to live since most of the stuff I watch are from Netflix or YouTube. 720p is enough for HD quality and everything else that I do.

Then I researched for more LED projectors and ran into LG HW300 and Qumi Q2. To be honest I would've gone with the LG HW300 for the DLNA so I could stream videos/musics easier without bunch of cables around my room and in my closet.

As for the Qumi Q2, the 300 lumens is enough for me. I can live with it since the LG HX300 is about the same but I would have to say the Q2 is slightly brighter. My only major gripe is having to buy adapters for my HDMI cable and component (still need to find an adapter for it). No accessories/adapters for other video inputs (for example the Wii).

The menu is really really basic. Can't calibrate much at all. Cannot change R, G, B to suit the situation. The presettings were ok. Brightness was way too saturated but not too bad for me.

Now for the good stuff, pixels are much more less noticeable when compared to the LG HW300, thanks to the increase pixels. Videos played nicely no stutter, no rainbow effect that I could notice, and the fan was not too bad (bad during silent scenes).

**One little trouble, I had a defective one prior to this review. The red led was broken or something because Mario's red under clothing was pure black. So did other images and videos where red didn't show up. Amazon was willing to replace it without any hassle. Thank you Amazon. Vivitek took awhile to respond but I took up on Amazon's offer because they were much more speedier in their replies.

Overall though, I am pleased with the product.

Update- After using it for like 2 weeks. I'm actually getting quite frustrated with the projector. It appears that after shutting off the projector and turning it back on later, you are required to refocus again. If you are using it as a dedicated theater and mounted on the ceiling, you literally have to climb up every time, turn the focus wheel and not turn it off ever again. That's very inconvenient and a major flaw for me. I wish Vivitek would address something on this issue other than telling us to just refocus when it reaches operational temperature.

Update 8/27/11- I'm beginning to notice the projector is not focused in some areas strangely enough. Like along the bottom right portion of the screen is blurred out and middle left. Apparently it's a common problem. Please buy at your own discretion. Dropped it to 3 stars.

pros: Brighter than most led projectors, I have a 100" screen. HD 720p, very nice. Enough ports for a portable (You will find yourself swapping HDMI cables if you don't have a switch).

Only 1.6 lbs. NO NEED FOR LAMP REPLACEMENTS! Plays video, music, and documents from portable media fairly well (if in the right format, handbrake works pretty well for .mp4). Very good skin tones

cons: Seems to need refocused after heating up. No power button on remote, hard power switch though, so any remote controlled outlet could work. Slight green tint to black and white scenes.

comments: Very saturated colors. Super basic menu. I haven't tried the 3D functionality

Good deal for the money.

It was quite a wait for the Qumi projector, factoring in several delays due to manufacturing and Vivitek shipping misfires. But it was well worth the wait. I have an Optoma HD65 720P projector and I absolutely love it. The Optoma is bright, vibrant, and very portable. While the Qumi does not produce as large or dynamic a picture as my Optoma, it does hold its own. The Qumi is surprisingly bright for 300 lumens and the colors are very rich. The picture is sharp and clear. And the portability of the Qumi is fantastic, clearly surpassing my Optoma on that front. I have projected images from 20" to 110" and have been impressed with its delivery of content, especialy from Netflix, blu rays and DirecTV HD. I use it all over my home, yard, and deck and am very pleased with its performance. The ability to achieve 3D viewing appears to be very limited. But honestly, I didn't purchase the Qumi for that use. I wanted a mobile, big screen performance where bulb replacement, due to hours used, was no longer a concern. And the Qumi has abundantly delivered just that. And as usual, Amazon's service was IMPECABLE in the purchase of this projector. A great product and great service. Like I said............definitely worth the wait.

Great little projector. I've had it for a day and I believe you need nothing else if you are looking for a small, light and very portable projector.

300 hundred lumens is more than enough for anything you may want. A good set of connections cables (short, like 18 inches). In my case I got a 120 inches screen from 3.5 meters from the wall. Excellent quality. Only complaint is sound, but any speaker system will do the trick. I recommend this to anybody who is looking for a portable projector.

I've had it for a few weeks now, and I love it! It is my first projector so you could say maybe it's because I have nothing to compare it to. I currently have it projecting a 96" image on a screen I built using black out cloth (tutorials can be found online.) Blu Rays from my PS3 look amazing even at the resolution of 1280 x 800. I have it mounted to my ceiling with a speaker mount.

A few minor problems though. It takes about 15 minutes to reach optimal temperature to focus. So I waited 15 min. Then focus. I leave it at that focus setting. Next time I turn it on it is focused after 15 min. Also, it is quite difficult to get focused perfectly. It can be done, though you may notice a portion of the screen is not as focused as the rest. Not a big difference to me, though other reviewers disagree. Lastly, you really do need complete darkness for the best looking picture. Once I build my theater room in the basement I won't have to worry about that. In the living room now, I mostly use it at night anyway. And when I use it in the daytime, I put a black blanket over my large living room window and I'm good to go! For 500 bucks you can't really complain! A friend of mine has a very high end projector and screen and the difference in image quality does not equal the difference in cost in my opinion. - Optoma - Projector - 3d Ready - Portable Projectors'

Ladies Tag Watch - ladies tag watch, luxury

I don't recommend this watch. I haven't had the watch for a year and it turns my wrist black after wearing it for a day. If I understand correctly it's only coated in stainless steel, once it wears off there is nickel in the wristband that reacts with my skin. Very disappointing after you spend this much on a watch. I expected more from Tag Heuer. TAG Heuer Women's WAF1412.BA0823 Aquaracer Ladies Watch

I bought this watch for my wife as an second year anniversary gift. It is an excellent watch. The fact that the TAG HEUER brand is printed in green and red makes it even look better. My wife says that she can wear this watch with either fancy dresses or with casuals. I strongly recommend it!

DONT BUY!!!. AMAZON IS NOT A AUTHORISED RESELLER

They dont provide an internationla warranty as is should as stated in the manufactures manual. Should have an internationla card with the date and time of purchased.

after repeated requests...I NEVER GOT IT!. Finally one Amazon representative emailed and told me that AMazon is NOT and authorised reseller of TAG watches...Thereby you have no recall at all if is breaks down!!!

DO NOT BUY!!!

I purchased this watch 4 weeks ago and was very happy with the quick postage , packaging and the watch itself. However, after only 2 weeks , when I attempted to change the date ( it was 12hrs out) the winder ( crown) just snapped off. I contacted Amazon as it within 30 days but due to the fact that I had worn the watch ( I had to get it resized too) , I was not eligible for a refund. The crown is not considered part of the watch movement either so it was not covered by the Amazon warranty. I have had to get it privately repaired for close to $200. Very disappointed with this Tag. Previously owned a Longines for 15yrs without any hassles.

I love the looks of my Aquaracer. My complaint is that it loses a minute a month. I've been told that's because it digital(?) and not battery operated. So, every 3 months or so I set the watch 5 minutes fast. It' embarrassing to wear such an expensive watch and then not have accurate time.

I purchased this watch as a present for my wife.

I myself also own an Aquaracer watch from TAG Heuer.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

It lives up to my expectation about this brand in terms of looks, quality of the materials and precision.

I bought this watch with a pink face for my wife six years ago. The watch has worked without any issues. The crown is still there and it keeps perfect time. I have heard the manual operated watches do lose a minute, but I don't own any and they are priced much higher.

I bought this watch at Macys and ensured the seller was an authorized TAG dealer. This is a battery operated watch, which will require you to change out the battery every two to three years. Overall maintenance on this particular watch is only required every 10 years. I have the seals checked at an authorized dealer each time I have the battery changed, which only runs approximately $30. This is a great quality watch. We currently have four TAG watches, two Aquaracers and two Formula 1s, not a problem with either one. - Luxury - Ladies Tag Watch - Watches'

Gift Decoration - decoration, gift decoration

I purchased this paper to wrap a few presents for my sister and her daughter. This wrapping paper is BEAUTIFUL in person. Very thick, I would almost compare it to shelving paper. The fact that it comes with the matching tissue paper is fantastic. The wrapping paper is textured, thick, nothing you're wrapping will be displayed through this, great find. (Also received a note thanking me for my purchase from the seller) Gift Wrap Cool Flowers & Paisley Wrapping Paper & Tissue Paper 20 Sq Ft Roll

I have never seen gift wrap so wonderful and so reasonably priced. The roll has both a tissue paper layer and an embossed, thick wrapping paper layer. After using it, I compared it to the wrapping papers on offer at a couple of local drugstores and bookstores. I could not find comparable quality and certainly not at this price.

It looks and feels great, and the store has great customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend this product and the sellers.

The paper arrived quickly and was much prettier than you can tell from the picture. It's actually embossed to look almost like leather and feels thick and rich. I loved it and my recipient was very carefully opening her gift to save the paper because it was "too pretty to throw away". There is also a ton of on the roll, unlike the usual "one time around the tube" type variety you get at bargain stores. I would definitely buy this again. - Bows - Christmas Wrap - Gift Decoration - Decoration'

Bostitch Finish Nailer - finish nailer, compressor

I purchased this nail gun recently and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The condition of the nailer was really good, you could tell it wasn't brand new as some slight touch up had been done to the black areas of the paint otherwise, you would be hard pressed to distinguish the gun from a new one. After receiving it, I fired up my compressor and ran about 50 or so nails through it to make sure it worked well and to see how easy it was to adjust the drive depth. I had no problems getting the gun to countersink 2" nails in oak.

Just a heads up, the description lists additional tips and hex wrenches as being included however, I did not receive any and do not see these items listed by other vendors in their description of the item. I suspect this is a minor oversight by Amazon.

I prefer to buy new when possible however, when the price is significantly cheaper, there is a promo code, and the warranty is good, there is no reason not to consider purchasing this gun reconditioned. Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/N62FNK-2 1- to 2-1/2-Inch 15-Gauge Angled Finish Nailer

They sent me a heavily used, dirty tool. The box had dirt from the worksite on it. The trigger is loaded with dirt. They did not even try to patch up any of the dings, scratches and scuffs. This looks like it came out of a pawnshop, but worse because it is dirty. I did not even try it to see if it worked, it looked so bad. They did not even pretend to send a factory reconditioned nailer. I am embarrased for this company. Based on the reviews, I suspect this is an anomoly, and that someone who is not greatful to be employed severely cut corners. Only a couple others have had simlar experiences--at least people who have taken the time to post a review. I am sending it back.

I ordered one new from the same company for about $25 more. I received it today and I am pleased. Now I have to waste my time and gas to take the crappy one to UPS because someone did not take pride in their work.

The lesson here is to buy new if you buy from this company. I previously bought a reconditioned compresser and brad nailer from a different company (CPO Bostitch) and it truely was factory conditoned and was beautiful.

The nailer came in the mail 2 days earlier than I expected. It had extra foot covers included in the box, which was nice. The nailer performed flawlessly with the Bostitch brand 2 1/2 inch nails. I did have a minor problem with 1 inch Hitachi brand 1 inch nails...When I held it up to nail into the wall, it misfired about every 5th nail. This was remedied when I aimed it downward towards the ground. I switched to the 1 inch Bostitch nails and didn't have this problem anymore. I suggest using the brand nails for this unit. I have yet to have a misfire with the Bostitch nails. The unit was in perfect condition out of the box. Only some minute indications that it had ever been used. I did have to use my own compressor adapter, as it did not come with one included. Not a problem because I had plenty for just such an occasion. I build a lot of antique reproduction style furniture, and this tool is a must. The 15 gauge nails are strong enough to hold, but thin enough to not split the wood. It leaves a small hole that is easily covered with putty, barely noticeable when finished. All in all a great product at a great price...Well under the price you pay for a substandard brand from the local tool store.

Make sure you buy from a reseller that has a good return policy. I got the full refund without paying returned shipping fee.

I got the really old nailer that look like several year heavy used worn out, missing a box of 1000 sampled nails, no instruction manual, no air fit connector, and a broken case lock clip.

In my case, that is not worthy to save $50.00 compare to a new one. In additional, I have to delay my project in couple weeks.

I purchased this with a Bostitch 6 gallon compressor and 18 gauge brad nailer to do some trim work around the house. Things to note are the gun did not come with a quick connect coupling and be sure to get the 25 degree angled nails. Most other brands use the 30+ degree nails.

The gun works pretty good. Jams once in a while i.e on the last nail in the feeder. Easy to clear them. At 100 PSI I've had no trouble driving in 2 1/2 nails. A lot easier than hand nailing!

Nail gun arrived in perfect condition, almost as if it had never been used. I don't know if they repaint these things or what, but the case, the nail gun, everything was like-new. It also came with a box of 1000 - 2" nails in it which I wasn't expecting. Not sure if that is true for everybody, but I thought it was cool, those are about $20. I've now shot over 3,000 nails with it and only had one minor jam up, on the last nail of the load and it was easy to pull out the nail and move on. It's lightweight and sets the nail perfectly every time. I've used a combination of the Bostich 15 gauge 2.5" and 2" inch nails.

This is the second finish nail gun I have owned. I am so happy with Bostitch and with the CPO company. My nail gun arrived early (as did my 18v lithium ion drill gun from this company). This nail gun has worked flawlessly and has certainly made it easier to install trim work. I found that the nail gun is easy to disassemble if you need to (I didn't, but wanted to see how it would if I had a jammed nail). It is very easy to use and accurately sets nails to the desired depth. I would highly recommend to any do-it-yourself handyman such as I am.

I purchased one of these new about five years ago. I bought it just for around the house projects so it saw very little use - maybe used once every three months to drive twenty nails. Mine went bad about a year after I bought it. It leaks air badly around the trigger. I don't know whether I just bought one that was poorly made or it's just a sorry product to start with. I do know that I will not purchase another, or the Bostich brand. - Finish Nailer - Nailer - Compressor - Bostitch Finish Nailer'

Wide Calf Boot - comfortable, boots

I thought these boots were so aesthetically pleasing, and was excited to read in the description that they fit wider calves. However, when I took them out of the box and began to put them on, they barely fit over my shin - let alone my calf. I do have wider-than-average calves, but they're not monstrously so. I don't know what Aerosoles' idea of "wide calf" is, but if you're got any more than a 14'' calf circumference I'd stay away. Stay very, very far away. Avenue and Torrid have 17'' and 18'' inch calf widths, so I'll be sticking to what I know from now on. ;0) Aerosoles Women's Infamous Boot,Black,10.5 B US

I bought these boots in brown to take on a trip to Italy last October. I was THRILLED that they fit my wide calves (16 inches) with room to spare! The double zipper is a great idea!! I also wanted a lower heel, and these were perfect for walking! The very first day I wore them, I did have a little ankle discomfort, but, it must have been a "breaking in" thing, as the next day, and all the days after, I had no pain at all. In fact, they were more comfortable than the Born flats that I also took along. I walked MANY miles in these boots and as soon as we got back home, I ordered a pair in black! I'm actually logging on today to buy an additional pair in each color because they are on sale and I know I will wear these out at some point ... I want back ups, as these are my favorite boots EVER!!

These are cute boots & quite comfortable, too. I ordered a 7 1/2 and they are true to size. They've got two zippers, so you can unzip one set of zippers a little bit to relax the shaft if you need it. The boots are nice and tall and look great with skirts. I've received many compliments on them. The only thing I wish is that they were made of leather instead of the synthetic stuff.

THE LOOK:

I loved the way these boots look and they were a great price so I purchased them. I was a little surprised to see they were not real leather when I received them (ordered online) but that wasn't really a problem for me.

THE FEEL:

Since these are Aerosoles, i didn't think i had anything to worry about in terms of comfort. However, these are extremely uncomfortable. They have a zipper on the side which bends in such a way that it digs into the side of your ankle. I'm not wearing them today but my ankles still hurt (they feel like they're black and blue).

BOTTOM LINE: I wore them once and will be returning them, unfortunately.

I have bought this boot on sale during the summer, so I have not wore the boots yet. I do like the heel height and have walked around the house in them and it does seem like I could wear them all day, and I stand up all day as a teacher. I was concerned that they would look cheap, but that is not the case. My problem is that I have a 15 inch calf circumference and usually need a wide calf boot. These boots fit my calf, so I am very excited. I do like that they can accommodate my big calves but don't look big on ankles, as I have regular sized ankles. Try them! Looks like they could work with skirts or pants/jeans.

It is a beautiful pair of boots. Well, when I received it, it has a dent in one heal, but I would still say they are beautiful!

The only thing is, they are designed for wide calf. I have 12-13 inch calf, so my leggs are swimming in the boots... otherwise, I would keep it! Now, it's on the way to get refund.

I am wearing the boots as I write this. The most helpful information I can give is to say that I am 5'8", athletic built, with 15" caves and these boots fit me perfectly. I wear them with skirts/dresses. They are very comfortable and stylish - have received many compliments. I have not noticed an issue with the zippers as mentioned in other posts. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the boots.

I am in between a 7 1/2 and 8 in shoes. I usually have to try both sizes but to be safe, I ordered and 8. It fits a bit loose and I am actually going to try the 7 1/2. The fit around the calf is a bit loose too if you have "normal" size calves...but does not look bad stylistically. Very comfy if you get the right sizing. - Boots - Womens Boots - Riding Boots - Comfortable'

Rotary Tool Accessories - rotary tool, dremel

First off, this is a "mini" set (i.e. each piece is the size of a dime [cone shaped ones] or a half dollar [pinwheel ones]). Although the description does list the accurate sizes, the picture is deceiving. This did not factor into my review rating but thought I would mention it.

Second, it is made in China and the quality is lacking. I used a brass piece on a small cast iron skillet to remove simple surface rust and it didn't even make it passed half of the bottom of the skillet and there was nothing left of the brush! I have used these before but this set was the worst. These brushes are cheaply made.

Third, on the BOTTOM of the box it says that the pieces contain lead. After I discovered that, I just threw the box out. Not worth breathing in lead (I do use a mask) or getting on my hands or clothes. Better safe than sorry!

I would avoid this product and do not recommend it.

Thanks for reading. I hope you found this review helpful. 24 piece Wire Wheel and Cup Brush Set

This brush set is a real bargain. Great purchase for those that do alot of small detailed rust removal and such with a rotary tool. Home Theater Component Shelf - audio-video shelving, home theater component shelf

This shelf is quite attractive and easy to install. The depth of it is greater than I was imaging, so if you're using it for a smallish item (like a DVD or cable box), it will stick out form the wall farther than you need. OmniMount ECSB Component Shelf for CRT TVs & Video Accessories

This is a great wall mount shelf. There aren't a lot of 30 lb shelf mount speakers out there. I have Klipsch RS-62s that weigh in at 26 lbs each, and the shelves accomodate them. The down side is that one of the shelves was sent with screws that had no thread! Also you HAVE TO install thise into a stud, period! When you initially drill, make sure you find wood shavings as the drill bit comes out. When you install drill the other holes, MAKE SURE you measure from the ground to the top of the wall plate to assure the speakers will be at the same height. Also, make sure that before you do your drilling deep, LEVEL the plate using a LEVEL you can buy at any hardware store, so your speakers don't tilt in one direction or the other. Make sure the top side is on TOP and put the plastic cover on BEFORE you attach the glass, and that the glass is faced so the rounded edge is in the front! Good Luck!

This OMNIPOINT Glass component shelf was simple to install and strong enough for my VCR & Satellite Receiver. The shelf glass shelf is fixed to the support arm and the support arm can swivel left & right about 20 Degrees. The only downside is that the glass shelf and projection from my wall is a little large for my location. I wish OMNIMOUNT has several sizes of this model available. If so, then I missed seeing it. Not a problem. Have a strong drill to pre-drill the screw holes into the wall. All said, I am fully pleased with this item.

The shelf does what it's supposed to do, but if you're installing where there's no stud, be prepared for a headache. It's possible, but you'll need a couple trips to the hardware store for the right kind of anchors/mollies. I wouldn't do jumping jacks on it, but it holds the TiVo nicely.

Would be nice if it also had a locking feature to stop the swivel. It tightens well, but not fully, so it swings if you bump it.

I looked all over the internet for a mechanism or shelf in which to mount my rear surround Paradigm Studio 20 V5 speakers, of which each weighs 24 lbs. This product is exactly what I was looking for. The build quality is luxurious; and when it is mounted correctly into a wood stud, it is extremely secure. I have only two suggestions being;

1) Don't bother using the supplied screws if you are going to mount the unit

into a wood stud as the screw head will strip and it will take you forever

to screw it down. I recommend purchasing four 3" bolts designed for wood

application and use a ratchet to tighten. I would not mount this unit

simply into drywall and expect it to support 30lbs, but after mounting it

into a 2 x 4, I would bet that it could easily support 50 lbs.

2) Others complained that the shelve swivelled freely after installation from

side to side. I purchased two shelve units and simply applied extra

torque on the nut and bolt which mounts the swing arm to the base plate,

and now there is adequate tension so that there is resistance when I move

the shelf from side to side; resolving any issues with the shelf moving

freely on it's own.

I would not hesitate to recommend this shelf unit as I will guarentee you will be extremely satisfied with your purchase.

Cobra

This is a quality unit, BUT the picture gives you the impression that the shelf does not extend out very far. The arm of the shelf extends so that the glass shelf begins 5" from the wall and extends out to 21" from the wall. This is the only complaint I have as the unit is otherwise well designed, sturdy, and the glass shelf(tempered) is first class. My suggestion, design a sliding extendable/retractable arm. The shelf is used to hold a direct TV receiver below a small wall hung 21" LCD in sewing room.

I bought two of these shelves, one for my TiVo and the other for a DVD player. I was able to install them one above the other and they look great. The glass for the shelf is very thick and it would probably support a TV! The only thing I found odd was that that if was impossible to tighten the bracket so it would not move back and forth. It really isn't a problem unless the shelf was in a high traffic area....which would not be a good idea anyway. Nice looking, well made and gets the job done easy.

This product was the first that I bought from OmniMount. The instructions were fairly easily to follow and the installation process was pretty straight forward. The steel and glass portions of the shelf were very well made and provide a very sturdy platform for our DVD player and cable TV box. The plastic facade pieces are poorly designed and fall off or come loose it lightly bumped. Luckily, these plastic parts are only for show and are not integral to the performance of the product.

This was great for mounting our DVD player and Cable TV boxes out of the reach of our 20 month old twins who love to push buttons.

Great product. Too bad that the cable management kit that you can buy in addition to this shelf are such poor quality. See my review of that item for more information.

I purchased this shelf for my DVD player and mounted it up high, near the ceiling. The shelf is very stylish and looks great. The glass is nice, thick and sturdy. The swivel allows for great angle movements left and right. Great shelf. - Component Shelf - Home Theater Component Shelf - Audio-video Shelving - Wall Mount'

Fishing

for the price i don't think you can better assortment of panfish lures and jigs. if one color or style isn't working, you have something different to put on at your fingertips. it gives you a wide source of colors. Ready 2 Fish Panfish Kit

A useful, cost-effective set of jigs and lures in a nice assortment of colors. As advertised ('panfish'), these lures are scaled for fish around 6-12" in length. My son used some of these with his ultralight rod and caught a small bass his first morning on the lake, so this set gets his enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Many kits such as this contain items that don't catch any fish. However, I caught a number of bluegill in a relatively short time by using the green colored ones. The bonus is that I also caught several smallmouth bass using the same one. So I was quite happy and would recommend this kit to a pan fisherman or a smallmouth bass fisherman.'

Pandora Charms - beads, pandora

I love this bead. I kept the mother part for me and gave the daughter part to my daughter for her to start her Pandora bracelet. I like to have the dangle as well. You will be very happy with this pretty bead. Mother Daughter Bead Charms Compatible with European Bracelet

I received the charm days after ordering! Very fast shipping, and I was very pleased with the product! It looks just as pictured and I know my mom will love it too! The seller even sent a free charm as a gift, even though the gift is not something I'd keep on my bracelet permanently, it was still very nice to receive! The item ordered came in a gift box as well. I would definitely order from this seller again. :)

I was leary and apprehensive about this Pandora Bead purchase but dealing via Amazon has NEVER, EVER, been a problem,

therefore, I chanced it. And I was thrilled with the purchase.

Thank you Amazon for being one of the few reliable "on line" retailers.

Sadly I had to send this product back for a refund. The charms have a very "cheap" look and feel to them. The charms are quite larger than I expected and only one side of the charm is imprinted. The back side of each charm has "925" imprinted in small letters on it.

This would work for someone who enjoys wearing charm bracelets with large charms on them, but if you wear a Pandora like I do - these charms just won't do. It clashes and are just too big.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the bead. The picture is very misleading. I cannot wear this bead next to Pandora beading, it would stick out like a sore thumb. The pieces did not fit together properly either. I'll just have to write this one off and stick to Pandora beading.

Camping Knife - multi-tool, swiss army

For the busy technology professional, a good knife can be the single most used tool. The Victorinox Tinker is pretty close to perfect. It has the critical core screwdrivers -- flathead and Phillips -- as well as simple punch, pick, and tweezers. It is NOT a huge pocket-tearing monster. The biggest problem is not leaving this miniature workshop behind! Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker and Classic Knife Combo

My first Tinker model was a black one-- brought to me from Switzerland in the 80s. I used it for years before finding a red version in the US-- at a Surplus store. I have other models, but the Tinker is the only one I carry on a daily basis. I use it, every single day. It has no attachments that I don't need (scissors, corkscrews etc are nice, but I don't *need* them) and its small enough that I don't feel like I have a brick in my pocket. Tweezers are great for picking up tiny lost objects or splinter removal, and the leather punch is a great awl. The only difference between my Swiss version and the "American" (both Victorinox) is that the Swiss one has a Philips head driver with a horizontal "slot" gap in the tip. That allows it to pinch into a smaller head, while the non slotted one is a fixed size for only larger screw heads. I when I found I could get the Tinker in the US so easily, I put the original in my locked box so I don't lose it. Its a super knife, and I am the hero at the office, at parties (I can open the most complicated packaging easily) and anywhere I fine a loose screw, dull pencil or use for a toothpick (which you can buy in replacement packs). I'd give it 5 Stars-- if this version had the slotted Philips head like my import. I own three in all-- black, red and engraved clear blue. [...]has 4 colors & can do the engraved ones, but they're a few $$ higher.

Great knife for a wonderful price. We are in the Civil Air Patrol and need such a knife for Emergency Services and it has everything but the kitchen sink. Quality is tops. Love it! We keep one in the glove compartment of the cars.

I have loved Swiss Army Knifes for years. They never wear out and the only reason you will ever have a need for buying another is you lost yours or you just want a wider collection of them. Over the years I have lost a couple unfortunately but I get so much satisfaction from them they more than pay for the ocassional replacement because of my oversight. Engrave them if you can because very few will ever get turned into Lost & Found. This two knife set is an excellent value because you get a full size knife for your toolbox, vehicle, or work, and a small one to carry everywhere you go. I highly recommend this set. Don't take these when you travel. Airport security guards love these too and they will confiscate them in the name of security but we all know they end up at their houses.

When everyone thinks of army knives they think of FIXITALL dudes and outdoorsy traveling people. Well, its not only these types that needs tools. The swiss army knife comes in so handy when you've moved out on your own but you haven't started to accumulate years of junk for your future supposed family.

enter: college. tightening screws on a fan, cutting open tough packaging, replacing swatch batteries, and yes... even opening a bottle of beer. its a bunch of tools you need in life in a tiny little package. i'm not carrying it everywhere but i leave it on a hook with a mini flashlight and there's my workbox: the swiss army tinker and a mini maglite. The only thing i don't see my self using is a wire stripper, but that might come in handy for engineering majors. This is probably the only tool you need until you finally settle down.

I ordered two of these: one for my desk and one for an Xmas gift for my brother-in-law. In-case you are wondering, it comes in one of those plastic clear packages designed to hang on store hooks (the ones that are impossible to open without a big pair of scissors or, well, a Swiss Army Knife). Sure, it is not a fancy gift box, but at roughly $17, it is a fantastic value.

The knives are as good quality as any other Victorinox knives I've had go. This is a great way to have the essentials at a low price. The build quality is great, but I did find that there was an excess of oil on the blades when opening the knife for the first time. Be sure to have a tissue handy.

The knives

-The Tinker - probably the most commonly used SAK in the world. This is just like the original Spartan, but has a Philips screwdriver instead of the corkscrew. It comes with the essentials - blade, smaller blade, bottle opener/wire stripper/flathead, reamer, screwdriver, and bottle opener. The reamer itsself has a farely sharp blade on it, and so does the can opener. To many, this knife will have all they need and then some on a package that is farely thin and light. I find that SAK's that are thicker than this (2 slots) can be unwieldy and heavy to carry around in the pocket from day to day.

-The Classic - Great little knife to keep in the bag, in the desk, by the couch, or just about anywhere. It is tiny, and has a good blade, a nail file with a small flathead end, and a pair of scissors. I've used these scissors just about my whole life to cut my nails, and they work fantastic.

These two knives make a great pair, and could be a good gift that will be treasured by the recipient for a long time to come. Not only will they last through many years of good use, but Victorinox backs them up with an awesome lifetime warranty. It is also a timeless classic, and who doesn't appreciate that?

I ordered this for my husband. He has always wanted a swiss army knife, so I started looking for one. Man are they way cheaper here than in store. I found the same one in store and they wanted 50 just for the big one. Great deal as usuall from Amazon.

After I thoughtfully (okay reluctantly) donated my Victorinox Swiss Army Midnite Minichamp Pocket Knife to T.S.A. on my last trip out of town I needed to find a new knife.

Although the light/pen additions to my previous knife were nice, I decided I really wanted the toothpick/tweezer combo this time. Additionally the idea of receiving the second knife as a bonus was a great selling point to me, just in case I am forgetful again and have it confiscated at the airport.

All of the features on both of these knives are useful. The tools I find myself using over and over are the small blade (Great for opening Amazon boxes, just slice carefully!), the bottle opener (For that cool evening beverage on the deck) and the tweezers (For the slivers in my feet from walking barefoot). I've decided that the larger of the two knives will be the one I carry in my purse and the smaller will be my back-up.

I would have loved to not need a new knife, but at this price it wasn't a punishment to buy another. I am also now considering buying some extras to give as gifts. - Swiss Army - Victorinox - Pocket Knife - Multi-tool'

. . . . in light of all the glowing reviews read! Based on other purchasers' experience I purchased this product. Looks good, very wide - as advertised, but disappointingly inconsistent. Followed all instructions, to the letter, but never managed to get it to weigh the same twice. Both my husband and I tried, and both got varying weights. Not helpful when embarking on a weight reduction regime, so it is unfortunately having to go back. Thank goodness Amazon's return system is so user-friendly.

Update August 1st 2010

I was somewhat surprised to receive an email response from the Vice President of EatSmart Products within about 20 minutes of the posting the above. He assured me I must have received a lemon (his words), which apparently happens from time to time. He also went on to say, and I quote, "I was hoping to get you a replacement immediately under our warranty program. Its the least we can do after putting a defective product in your hands."

I was duly impressed and told him so in my responding email. However, to date I have not received a replacement, nor do I now expect/want one to arrive. Having re-read other reviews of this and other EatSmart models, I believe this model is, in fact, a lemon. Other models seem to be consistently accurate, whereas, it appears, this particular model is not.

I am now looking elsewhere for a consistent and accurate scale.

Further update August 4th 2010

Today I received an unexpected package via FedEx. I had duly returned my 'lemon' and received a refund. I thought that was the end of the story. Not so! A new scale from EatSmart Products, with a letter from the Vice President, apologizing for the lemon and enclosing a new scale, which, he informed me, has been thoroughly tested for accuracy.

This accuracy I can confirm. Both my husband and I tested, and re-tested, and there was never a variation. I even tested it with one of my cats - spot on each time.

EatSmart clearly stand by their products, recognise there are ocassional flaws, and quickly correct the situation. I am a very impressed and happy customer. Obviously a company which values their name and reputation, and rightly so. Eatsmart Precision Plus Digital Bathroom Scale with Ultra Wide Platform and Step-on Technology, 440-Pounds

I have anxiously awaited the release of this scale for some time and now that I finally have it I am even happier than I thought I could be. Everybody in my family is big. I am 6'4", 375 pounds, so the need for a scale that could handle my weight was actually relatively tough to find. After talking to the folks at EatSmart, they convinced me to hold out for this one and I am glad I did.

The platform itself is the biggest individual selling point for me. Its probably a good five inches wider than the last scale I had. It gives me piece of mind that I am being properly weighed and I don't have to worry about turning an ankle or worse because my feet are hanging off. The 440 lb capacity was also a must for me, and so far I have found it very accurate. It was within .2 lbs of the scale in my gym, so I am finally confident that I am loosing some weight. The backlit display is nice, but frankly unless you live in a cave I don't think you need it as the display is so big to start with.

The fact that this company also seems to stand behind their products is big for me. At 350+ lbs I have gone through a few scales over the years, and after talking with the owners at Eatsmart I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Probably the best purchase of my young Amazon career.

This is by far the best scale I have ever owned. I love the oversized platform, the clean look of it and that it only requires two batteries. You get the same weight no matter how many times you step on and off right in a row. I did this with every family member in my home to be sure it was accurate. It was right on every time. The prompt delivery by the company was a big plus.

I received an email asking to review this product, and after a few weeks of owning the product I am able to give my humble opinion on such a wonderful product.

I would like to say that Eatsmart is an Awesome company, I had sent them an email asking when the product would be out and within the same day I got a reply with the release date. Now the cool thing was when the product became available I actually got an update email from Eatsmart informing that the product was available and the included a link directly to the Amazon.com page. To me that is a plus in ensuring customer assistance and satisfaction. Product arrive a day earlier then expected - niiiiice.

Finally about the product:

1.Awesome scale - is within a .2 margin of those really expensive scales as well as most of the scales I have used at clinics and fitness centers. (Weighs up to 400lbs)

2. The large platform (length & width) of the scale is great especially being a tall person, it allows for you to stand on the scale more naturally then regular everyday scales where you may need to adjust your footing a bit when getting onto the scale. (15 inches wide)

3. The large LCD display is another plus to the scale allowing you to get a readout whether lights are on or off in the room. Display lights - reading stays up for a few seconds after stepping off to ensure that you are able to your weight (4.25 inch LCD display)

4. Very low profile, sleek and sexy design. The tempered glass may at first give way for concern but after my friends and I have have weighed ourselves with weights ranging from 200 - 365lbs I can assure you this scale will hold up. Using regular (AAA) batteries is another plus takes from one having to search for a inferior lithium watch battery.

5. Quality x Value x cost - Can't be beat (In my opinion - but i did my fair share of scouring the internet looking, and researching in the end I kept coming back to Eatsmart and there fine line of products)

Overall I am very pleased with the company for producing such a nice piece of equipment that should be in everyone's home. Great product for the $$$ - Weighing Scale - Digital - Eatsmart - Accurate'
