Laptop Battery Chargers - laptop battery chargers, compaq presario

The first one they sent me started an electrical fire because it wasn't grounded as it is supposed to be. The second they sent me easily disconnects from the outlet and the wire disconnects into two parts easily. Wouldn't recomment this product for your laptop. Compaq Presario C300 C500 C700 F500 F700 Laptop Ac Power Adapter Charger

I ordered this charger to replace the one that came with my wife's laptop. She is a heavy user and he original lasted just short of three years. I was somewhat skeptical of many of these online as most had pretty low reviews...except this one. Even though this wasn't the lowest priced...which for an item like this "lowest price" scares me, I chose this one due to the relatively higher reviews it received. My wife used it for 7-10 days and its already unusable. The cord by the plug has already cracked and frayed. Stay away from this product if you would like to keep from burning your house/apartment/office/etc. down.

I deal with importing products from China and this kind of cheap junk still blows me away. I cannot believe that this kind of crap is being allowed to enter the US. I mean, I understand we're in a recession, but please, you end up spending way more money in the long run buying junk than some more quality product that costs more. I generally stay away from the low-priced stuff, but my wife was insistent on me getting something cheap because she just isn't sure how much life she has left in her laptop. It took her several days to tell me this power cord had already bit the dust because she was too embarrassed to admit it to me--she went straight to eBay to buy another one herself...we'll see how long that one lats, but its in her hands now if she doesn't want to pay for a quality one.

So, to sum up my rant here, stay away from this item. Generally the rule of thumb is...you get what you pay for. I've found that online, a quality product is generally about 50% the cost of what you can find at Best Buy--for basic electronics and electronics accessories. If its even cheaper...so is the quality. This one was about about 8% of what one costs at Best Buy (broke my own rule.)

Do not purchase this item. Was labeled as new and looked new but stopped working within 36 hours! Kept turning on and off and then finally wouldn't charge at all. Wouldn't recommend this product to anyone!

I used the cord for 2 weeks, and one half of the casing around the cord started cracking and falling apart. I have no clue if this cord has been through extreme temperatures to make it so fragile, but relly?! Ridiculous. The 2nd half of the cord stopped working 2 weeks ago, right on the curve to the box. There is a short there, as when I move it around it may work for a minute or two.

I'll be asking for a replacement. Hoping this one will be better. On the positive side, the shipment was prompt at the beginning.

Thanks.

I purchased this product because of the bargain price. I was sticker shocked when I found how much it cost through the manufacturer. At first I was please with it..then I started having issues with the cord staying connected to the computer and to the power box. I have to constantly wiggle the cord to get it to charge..probably every 5 minutes..very annoying. This was after putting tape to hold it together. I though it was just me. I came back to amazon to order a replacement, but now after reading all the reviews I am just going to invest in a better product. Appears that everyone is having the same issues. I didn't give it a 1 because it gave me a good 1 month.

It worked fine for a while, but the insulation on the cord is very brittle and cracked after a couple of months. The wire then shorted and burnt a small bit of my carpet. Luckily it didn't shock anyone or burn my house down. - Junk - Compaq Presario - Laptop Battery Chargers - Charger'

Rca To Miniplug Adapter - audio cables, 12-foot y audio cable

i bought this cable to connect my laptop to my home theatre receiver, eliminating the need for computer speakers whcich could never match up to the sound of my home theatre system. the 12 ft cable is plenty long enough and it is surprisingly high quaality for the price. i don't give the cable 5 stars because i know there are higher quality cables out there with 24 karat gold connectors which will give you a cleaner sound. don't buy the 12ft version unless you need the length because the longer the cable, the more signal loss there is. this is perfect for the average guy who just wants to listen to his mp3's or play PC game audio through home theatre system. Belkin F8V235-12 12-Foot Y Audio Cable

I used cable to send audio from my computer to my stereo receiver. Cable has a Mini male plug at one end, two male RCA plugs at other: plug the Mini end into the Audio out connector on sound card, the 2 RCA ends into spare left and right jacks on the receiver. Note if your sound card has only 1 Audio out connector, you need to also get a Mini male-to-female splitter (I got one for $2 at E-Bay) in order to hear audio from both the computer and stereo speakers.

This item just arrived today and so far it's serving me well. Now I have to get used to grabbing my stereo remote when I open WinAmp instead of reaching for my computer speaker's On button. I have trusted Belkin products in the past so I felt this product would be of good quality. I recommend this item to people that want to listen to MP3 audio on there stereo system. Great buy.

Before getting the Belkin Y cable, I used a "premium" Radio Shack brand Y cable that cost over three times what the Belkin cost (one of the features that made it premium was that it has gold-plated plugs). I wanted a second Y cable so I could have the same set up in two bedrooms, each of which has a stereo system in it.

For purposes of this review, I tested the Belkin cable as follows:

1. While the Radio Shack cable was connected to the Line 2 out jacks of an Onkyo TX-8222 stereo receiver, I connected the Belkin cable to the Line 1 out jacks. I then used each with a laptop playing a web radio station (WQXR FM, which plays classical music), switching back and forth while listening for any audible difference in sound quality. (I switched by connecting and disconnecting the mini-plug on each cable to the headphone jack on the laptop.) My ears detected no difference.

2. With the Belkin connected to the laptop and the Onkyo set to Line 1, I turned off the streaming web radio and turned the volume on the receiver up to the maximum level (the volume on the laptop was already at the maximum level). There was, as I'd hoped, zero hum and "total silence" (as in the scene in Fargo when Steve Buscemi's character attempts to engage his crime partner in conversation).

3. I then connected the Belkin to a Sony Walkman MP3 player. No problems whatsoever; the sound was crystal clear.

4. I twirled the mini-plug in the laptop headphones jack to which it was connected and listened for any electronic noise. There was none. I moved the laptop around (e.g., from the bed to my lap), and there was no noise.

The cable came neatly wrapped in a Belkin cardboard and plastic display package, and the cable itself looks and feels rugged and durable and appears to be of excellent quality.

You can't beat the price, but if you are plugging your computer into your home theater sound system, you will hear a noise that is a hum, at a lower volume than what I found after buying a better cable that is sheilded, for just a little more money.Pro-Techgroup Professional Grade 15 FT 3.5mm Stereo Male to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable - Gold Plated Connectors

I use it for hooking up a PC to my TV in the living room (along with an S-video cable). The PC and TV are on either side of my balcony entrance and the cables run along the floor. Translation: gets stepped on fairly often. Has held up just fine for about 5 months now.

I needed a "Y" cable to connect my computer to my stereo system, as I was tired of listening to music from my small, powered speakers. This required an 1/8" stereo mini plug on one end, and two RCA-type plugs on the other. A little research on Amazon.com and I was soon placing the order for a 12' cable by Belkin. The cable itself is heavy-gauge, and the plugs appear to be high-quality. I am now listening to Youtube through my stereo with great fidelity. (BTW, this same setup also works like a charm with an Ipod.) Nice when something works like it's supposed to! - 12-foot Y Audio Cable - Rca To Miniplug Adapter - Miniplug To Rca Adapter - Audio Cables'

Keyboard Sustain Pedal - keyboard pedal sustain switch, sustain pedal

This pedal works great! It's lightweight and easy to press down. I really like the plastic protective cover on the metal part. I actually bought this as an extra pedal so I could take it with me a not leave my church without one, but I like this one better than the old one. I use it every week instead of the other one. On Stage KSP100 Universal Sustain Pedal

It's annoying because every time you depress it you hear quite audibly a clicking sound. This was quite distressing to me so I promptly sent it back. Along with the clicking are other unwanted noises. I'm still looking for that perfect sustain pedal for my Privia. Where is the noiseless sustain pedal I am looking for?

I am a college student with music as a hobby, and I am currently using this pedal as a sustained pedal for my Akai MPK88.

It is very sturdily built (feels like rubber and metal), and works great. For the price, this is a steal!

Bottom line: what are you waiting for?

The item has proven well to use. The effects on tones is excellent. Shounld not go with out wearings shoes or cover feet to keep from pinching between pedal thoroug tab. Nice to have the tones matching which increases variety and accuracy to sound tones during key playing. Excellent price too.

This pedal does exactly what it is supposed to do.

It is inexpensive, fits easily in my gig bag, and works.

I actually purchased it as an afterthought, but I am very

pleased, and for the cost, I could not have beat it.

A truly "pro musician" would probably want a higher end pedal,

but for guys like me that just enjoy making music, it is GREAT!

Bought two of these about a year ago, and the first just broke (the second one was unopened until today). Both the front plastic points that the bottom plate of the pedal screwed into (there are 4 altogether...two in the front, two in the back) just snapped from the main piece of plastic molding after just a year of use. I'm NOT a violent player (I only use it for sustain on some of the piano sounds on my Alesis QS8), so there's not a really good reason it should have broken this quickly, but it did...

BEFORE that happened, I would have rated this a high 4 or at least a low 5. It had what seemed to be fairly solid and sturdy construction...at least from the outside view. And the actual switching mechanism on the pedal works great...better than both Yamaha and Roland brand pedals that I bought previously.

So, let's see how long the second one will last, as I just broke it out of the box (uh...maybe "broke" was a bad choice of words). I'll possibly be adding to this review in about 12 months.

To give this product a super low review wouldn't be fair. I tried working this with my Casio CTK-574; Mind you, I haven't done everything in my power to get it to work. However, I brought it with me to play on the streets, and I couldn't get it to work for the life of me. With that being said, I'm not going to lower the rating because it didn't work on my keyboard, and also because I never really got to use it!

Using this pedal to activate OverDrive on Rock Band 3 and has been working flawless. It has 6 non-slip feet on the bottom which are perfect for the hardwood floors. The pedal is strong and responsive so as not to accidentily activate and there is no clicking or noise when using it. Comes with a protective and non-slip cover on the pedal itself which can be easily removed for the feel or look of it.

Polarity swith for open or closed states as well. - Keyboard Pedal Sustain Switch - Sustain Pedal - Keyboard Sustain Pedal - Keyboard'

Mood Enhancer

I've suffered for years with the perimenopause and now it's the menopause. Why won't Doctors mention this is available OTC instead of saying my problems were because I'm fat? (I got more fat because of this) All this started in my 30's; I got all seven symptoms - the hot flashes and night sweats were constant. Now in my 40's with these creams I can sleep thru the night, feel that the mind/brain that I thought I had lost forever is returning, and I'm so much happier - and not seething - and yes, I seethed- just ask the boyfriend. He still does the same things he always did, but now I don't go off on him and wish to toss his gear out the 2nd floor window and him along with it. I also use Libido Edge Testosterone Cream For Women (and yes I actually WANTED to have sex). With all three I feel like myself (only still much fatter than I was), but I'm not the angry bitter person too hot, too tired and too cranky to be near. The products may have saved my boyfriend's life in addition to mine. These results may not be typical - but the products have kept me from facing murder charges.Source Naturals Progesterone Cream 2oz

When I lost my insurance, I started looking for over the counter replacements for the medications I took. This was a great find. It actually works better than my perscription medication. I am so impressed with this inexpensive alternative.

got this and the partner estrogen creme and use 1/8 tsp of each and whammo...do I ever feel improvement in the 4 days of using them. I had tried chinese herbs for hot flashes/night sweats, the vitamon E therapy, rhubarb pills , some of the over the counter women's herbal combos the dietitian suggested ...most of those aggrevated my stomach and didn't achieve any results. But I wanted something that didn't require a prescription and constant visits to my Dr. I am healthy, I eat right, I exercise, but I felt like I couldn't get enough moisture to my skin as I was sweating it out as fast as I would replenish liquids. More than 10 glasses a water not even touching it. My skin was becoming the sahara desert and I couldn't get a decent night's rest because the constant puddling was impossible. My Dr. says it is just perimenopause at work...it will balance. This worked and fast for me. I like that it isn't oral. I hate having stomach distress. I have recommended to friend's in the same boat..they won't buy online...but it is doing wonders for them. Great product, nice price, glad to have found it.

My symptoms were probably mild compared to others. I just started getting night sweats (but just a clammy feeling not wetting the sheets) several times a night so I couldn't sleep through the night. Also during the day I'd get the hot flush waves several times a day. I could only tolerate this for two months and went online searching. I was going to go for Amberen but could NOT find any real information positive or negative about it from real users (only several other women asking on the internet if Amberen works or not). I decided to try this cream from Amazon after reading the reviews of other women. I am relieved to say it works for me. The first night I only had 1 mild night sweat and 1 in the morning and 1 or 2 that I hardly noticed during the day. By 2 days of using the cream, they were gone completely. I dab a small amount on my wrists at morning and at night. I hope it keeps working but for now, it's just been great getting a good nights' sleep.

This product is natural and I recommend it to all women. I was introduced to it when I was in my late 30s, in my 50s now and still using it. I notice if I skip for a few days, more likely to be irritated by small stuff or allow a sad mood to take over. Small jar lasts a long time, part of my morning routine to rub a bit on my wrist.

I'm not fond of the fragrance of this cream at all....BUT..it does help level out my periods, bleeding and keep the night sweats at bay. Plus I'm not up several times to pee each night AND my crankiness seems to have settled down. Good product, bad smell.

I have been using Natural Progesterone Cream for two weeks and it's probably too early to tell, but it does seem to have helped cut down on the number of hot flashes I've been having. Ordered from Universal Herbs, Inc., this product arrived quickly (within three days - always a good thing). The cream is soft and absorbs easily into the skin (I apply 1/4 tsp on my wrist twice a day). My only complaint is the fragrance (as other users have pointed out) but it doesn't overpower and vanishes somewhat quickly.

I was having hormonal problems that my Dr was aware of and my next step was to be put on hormone medication. I decided to try this product and it has worked like a dream. I don't need the medication thanks to this product. Love it.'

Hp Pavilion Notebooks - laptop battery, dv6000

This laptop battery is so awesome. I get on average 5-6 hours of charge off of this battery, which is way more than I could have ever imagined. Keep in mind that the 5-6 hours is also because I keep my power settings on HP recommended or power saver options when the laptop is not plugged into the power cord, which is what you should do when your laptop is running only on the battery. But 5-6 hours on average is amazing, when I used to only get about 45 minutes out of the original 6-cell battery that the laptop originally came with. \Now I don't have to worry about my laptop battery dying quickly and I don't have to worry about constantly searching for power outlets during lecture. I don't even have to worry about taking my power cord with me every time I go to class now. Thank goodness. This is a fabulous battery that lasts for HOURS, and if that's what you're looking for you won't be disappointed! Definitely a worthwhile buy!

The battery was priced well below what I had seen on the HP and other websites. It arrived within the timeframe specified with the product description, and worked well in my laptop. I am very satisfied with it and consider it to be a great value.

Great option. It was inexpensive and is working terrific. I didn't find the instructions so I had trouble making it work at first. But I found some tips online and got it working right away. I think some helpful tips on how to get the laptop to recognize it would be wise.

I was nervous about this product when I received it because the packaging was kind of sloppy. The battery was dusty from a broken desiccating bag. After I cleanned up the battery and charge it up, it works like a normal battery supposed to work. I am very pleased how much money I saved from buying this battery. I have this battery for almost a month now and it is working great. I would recommend this product to anyone.

As most of the reviews suggest, this batter performs well enough after you first get it. As with most batteries, however, it degrades over time. Mine, however, has degraded to the point of being functionally worthless within 8 months of first use, which I think is ridiculous (that's compared with about 2 and a half years on my first HP battery). The battery was used pretty conscientiously as well--never set on any soft surfaces, never left running overnight. There's something to be said, of course, for the fact that this is much cheaper than you'll probably get from HP itself, but I question whether the tradeoff is worth it if you need to send out for a new laptop battery more than once a year.

Keep in mind that most people review this product a day or two after they pop it into their dying laptops and remember how great it is to have a computer you don't need to have plugged in all the time. It's fun while it lasts, but this product will not let you keep it up for long. - Pavilion - Laptop Battery - Hp Laptop Battery - Dv6000'

Physical Therapy - exercise, ankle weights

I've been weight training for years and even do competitive stairclimbing. I bought these with the idea that I would use them to train for stairclimbing.

I'm not a small woman...5 feet 8 inches, 135 lbs, but these weights were almost impossible to keep on my ankles...they just don't seem to be made for an average woman's ankles.

I may pass these onto my husband who is 6 feet 2 and 220 lbs. I would not recommend these for an average sized woman. Valeo AW20 Adjustable Ankle / Wrist Weights (10-Pounds Each, 20-Pound Total)

While ten pounds on each wrist or ankle may not sound too extreme, any extended period of time with these weights on is going to fatigue just about anyone. Having said this, it should be noted that adjusting the amount of weight is a simple matter. Given the range of weight options, the overall appearance is somewhat large and bulky. If you are wearing these things, you really can't hide it. However, if you want to give a turbo shot to your daily walk or other activity, these things can't be beat.

I bought these with the idea of doing various exercises I had been doing at physical therapy. The bulkiness of the individual weights was not what I expected. The first time I used the weights, I had a bruise the size of an orange on the back of my leg.

I still use them, but wish I had different ones.

I use these as wrist weights while using a Nordic Track Ski Machine. For this purpose they are great. I took four neoprene soda can coolers and slit them down the side to use as inner padding, two on each wrist. Stacking a cotton wrist band for sweat absorption, can cooler, can cooler, then pull the wrist weight tight on each wrist and they fit nice and snug and don't move around at all. Took a few times to get the sequence right but now it's a snap. Not sure the material the product is made of will last a real long time but I'm happy with the product and the price is right, plus ten pounds on each arm for an hour will give you an awesome workout.

edit 3-15-09

After using these great weights for a time I can offer some advice on handling. Be gentle with these. If you toss/drop them on the floor after you take them off you'll eventually rupture the plastic sand bags inside and leak sand out a little at a time. Still-- a very nice product.

I'm 5'4" tall and weigh 135#. The weights were way too big for me & slipped off the lower legs & on to the heels. Couldn't make them any tighter. The outside construction is good. However the weight inserts are verly flimsily covered & poorly sewn & very difficult to re insert. I would be afraid that they would split open after a few handlings. If you larger than I & wouldn't want to remove the weights then it's fine. For me it wouldn't work. I have seen other products with insert bags that are sewn much better & out of stronger material. Unfortunately it's not that easy finding 20# ankle weights.

I'm rather large (6'3" and 240lbs) and I needed more weight than the average person.

These fit the bill. They are comfortable and adjustable (2 lbs at a time).

They go well with Jumpsole shoes.

I get a really good workout with these, an X vest, and Jump sole shoes. I walk my dogs twice a day and on at least 1 of those walks I'm loaded with weights. More exercise in less time. These ankle weights are the key to a great workout since you must lift your leg with every step.

I don't know that running in these would be a good idea though. May be bad on the joints. But I'm no doctor.

Great quality and great comfort.

I wanted a set of adjustable weights for physical therapy and strength training for my back, core, and legs. I am a lean female, and I knew that 10lb weight each on my legs were going to be over the top, but I figured it still would come in handy for leg lifts and what not, and for just walking around I can decrease the weights to just 2~6 lbs each leg.

I received the item today, and I must say, while I am impressed how sturdy they look, with adjustable velcro all the way around, it is HUGE. I look like I have gorilla feet, even when I remove 3 weights off from each. They look durable and long lasting, but the velcro is almost too strong to be taking it on and off frequently... in fact my thumb's sore from tring to rip the velcro off.

I think my husband (160~170 lbs martial arts buff) would be happy to make better use of this, but I might need to order something a bit smaller and formfitting for everyday use.

I have two sets of these weights for leg workouts a ten lb. set and this 20 lb. set. This set is 10lb. each thus 20lb. They are bulky and very hard to strap on, they slip around a lot and are not comfortable. I need more then the 5 lb. ankle weights so I put up with these because I really do notice a difference in the workout using these, I just wish they were easier to get on and not so clumsy. The 5lb. each set is far more comfortable on the ankle and easier to put on, maybe I should have gotten to pairs of those and used two on each leg, hmmm. - Ankle Weights - Weights - Exercise - Adjustable Ankle Weights'

Wireless Remote Outlet Control

When I ordered this product, I had a tough time deliberating between the other similar products online. I "knew" I wanted something like this, but I was concerned over the various reviews on each of the comparable products -- each product having something that was bashing it a bit. The alternative product of having a remote control for my lights seemed far less attractive to me (though still more attractive than continuing to turn 4 lamps on every time I enetered this room). Side note: I've become increasingly skeptical about 'planted' reviews by the makers of products -- great reviews on their own products, bad reviews on others' products. So, this is my first time putting pen to paper and really viewing something.

I'm 30, living in an apartment in an old brownstown in Boston, and while it's a great place, 100+ years ago when the place was built, the rooms were not designed with single-switch on/off lighting.

The GOOD:

The switch works exactly like it claims to. I plugged the wireless outlet unit into an electrica outlet at one end of my room, I connected an extension cord to it, and then I plugged 3 single-bulb nouveau glass lamps into the extension cord. I then put the double-sided tape on the back of the wireless switch and stuck it to the wall on the other side of the room (right by the entrance to the room). Now, when I walk into the room the first thing I do is hit the wireless light switch and all three lamps turn on instantly. I no longer need to turn 3 lamps on manually to get good lighting! The distance from wireless base to wireless switch is probably in the 15-20ft range and I've never had any problems. The lamps turn on as if they were on a built-in switch, which is exactly what I was looking for.

The Less good:

Not clarified in the product description (to my memory it was left out / ambiguous) -- to clarify, the wireless outlet unit has a 2-pronged plug on it. It does NOT have a 3-prong plug. That is, if you were looking to plug a power bar into the wireless outlet unit, you would need a power bar / extension cord with only 2-prongs. This was a bit of a bummer for me because I actually have 4 of the glass lamps I was hoping to connect via a power bar... I'm still happy with 3 lamps, though now I almost never turn on the 4th one. All the other wireless light switches I considered clearly had only 2 prongs, but this one was ambiguous to me. So, now hopefully you will have this question answered BEFORE you buy.

Question? Feel free to ask me -- not sure I've got more to say about this product, but I'll do my best to answer. Westinghouse T00412 Light Switch Remote

Great product but if you buy more than one they have to be installed at least 50' away from eachother because when you switch one on the other will switch on too! I put one in the living room and one in my office but whenever I switch on the living room light the office light goes on too and vice versa! Too close to eachother!

Don't waste your money on this. I purchased this switch and it broke the next day. I didn't even bother complaining because it's only $20 and it's not worth it. I had to buy a new one and purchased the "handy switch" and it works great!! I have two at home and have never had any problems. It even costs less.

Not sure if this is a defective unit as many other reviews here say positive things about it. But as with the two or so other poor reviews, this works only some of the time. And only when the switch is within a few feet of the receive AND with no obstructions (e.g., the thin wall of a desk or a bookshelf). So, for my purposes this is worthless as I would have to rearrange things just to get the switch and receive approx. 5 feet from one another and with nothing in between them. Even then, it seems only every other click turns the switch on/off. Going to try returning this though it is already open.

My roommate's light switch is outside of his bedroom door, so you can imagine how frustrating that could be. My sister had one of these that she got from the As Seen On TV store a few years back and I couldn't find one there anymore, so of course I went to Amazon and found it. It works perfectly and he hasn't had any problems with conflicting light switches messing with him yet... well, other than the person outside of his door messing with it.

That's right, no more clapping. When my daughter clapped, that was my cue to turn her light off. Often inconvenient. Now She keeps this switch by her bed, reads till she's tired and then uses the remote.

Problem solved.

Product worked great for a month then randomly stopped working. range or interference is not an issue and i even changed batteries and no go. somethings messed up in the box because it no longer makes the click sound when it turns on or off.

I really like my Westinghouse remote light switch, it works well, so I don't have too squish around a chair and a table to turn on a light I use everyday. It works wonderful, even my granddaughter uses it and is so excited that the light comes on so quickly and easily.

I have had this for 2 weeks and it works just fine.

You can attach it to the wall either with the double sided tape or with the screws that comes with it.

Important to keep in mind that you can only insert a two-pronged plug into this. NOT a three-pronged plug.

If you want to connect a three-pronged power bar you would have to buy a 2-pronged to 3-pronged converter (which was less than $2 at Target).

Most power bars are three-pronged, so if you want to attach a power bar to this you would either have to use a special power bar with only 2 prongs or buy a converter like I did.'

I bought this with the hope that I could just wear them around my ankles as I went about my day to give my legs a slight workout. That proved to be impossible because these things are huge. The woman in the photo must not have any weight in the pouches, because fully-loaded, these things have roughly the same diameter as a volleyball (while worn).

Regardless, being able to choose how much weight you want is really nice. The only downside is that if you don't have thick ankles (or wrists), they can be a little loose. I wish I could wear them tightly so they don't slop around. My ankles are a little bruised from all the movement, which means I can only wear them every other day while my ankles heal from the previous day's abuse.

Having said that, someone bigger than me would appreciate that these have two velcro straps that make for a very secure fit, and they even out the pressure on your leg/arm. The velcro is also VERY strong, so I'm never worried about them falling off or loosening up while I'm working out.

My experience is that these are great for doing a basic workout routine, but not for running because they're a little too loose on me. Amber Sports 20-Pound Wrist and Ankle Weight

I dont know how the women in the product picture is managing to keep the thing on, but my wrists are at least as thick as hers and this product will slide around at any sort of rigorous movement. Maybe it's good for slow movements of your arms. As ankle weights they are ok and stay in place. But they are so bulky it would be dangerous to run with them on as each ankle weight will contact the other on a normal stride, probably resulting in tripping and falling. I basically use them on my ankles as "passive exercising". Just do your daily routine, walking up stairs or whatever while wearing them. 10 lbs on each leg will strengthen your legs even just doing house hold work.

The weight bars were too bulky and they wouldn't stay put on my arms while working out. They kept sliding up almost to my elbow. I wanted these to have weight resistance for my arms without stressing my wrists -oh well, no luck. Returned. Customer Service 5* - Ankle Weights - Exercise - Adjustable Ankle Weights - Ankle'

Monitor Cables - cables, monitor cables

Hooked this cable up from puter to tv. It works...BUT...the audio is not that good and I got lines in picture. I dont have this problem doing other things or ways...so I came to conclusion...its the cable. If I would have known I could go S Video and optical..I might have tried that... 25FT SVGA VGA M/M 3x Shielded Monitor Cable w/AUDIO 25' Male to Male 3.5mm stereo HD15 Audio/Video Laptop to TV, HDTV

This VGA cable has very poor video quality. It put a shadow on my TV, duplicating my desktop and I tested it more than once. If you don't absolutely need a cable of this length, you may want to consider getting a shorter one from a known brand. I moved my computer closer to my TV and have been using a 6 ft Belkin cable that works just great for now and will keep looking for a longer one so I can rearrange my furniture. I might be able to use the audio cable for something else, but that's about it for this purchase. The VGA cable itself is going in the garbage.

Ibought this thinking it would be great because of the length and the audio cable was built in it, but unfortunately the picture blacks out constantly,I have a short cable with no audio and it doesn't do this must be somthing wrong with the cable. - Cables - Monitor Cables'

Ink Cartridge - all in one printer, hp ink

The HP 21 inkjet cartridge is very light, easy to install and allows the printer to print out very good quality, durable black ink on the page. It stores for about a year after you buy it so if you want to stock up for your office or personal printing needs that's great! (It even comes with an expiration date!) HP also packs it well so that it is difficult for the cartridge to become damaged during transit.

One thing that I didn't like, however, is that the ink can go quickly. If you print a lot, you might even need to replace this cartridge every ten days or so. My needs are about 10 pages per week and I have to change the cartridge roughly every six to seven weeks. That's not good; although to be fair to this HP ink cartridge I am printing graphics.

As of the time that I am writing this, why don't we get a better discount for buying two cartridges? I notice the price to buy two is just slightly less than twice the cost of one of these HP 21 ink cartridges--but buying two should be cheaper still since you're buying two and not just one at a time; instead HP wants their customers to pay twice without giving them any discount or "price improvement." You might save a little over a dollar by buying this twinpack; but that's not much. There's just no discount nor is there any financial incentive to buy more than one at a time--and, as one reviewer notes, this is a disappointment.

Three and one-half stars for being great ink in easy to manage and install cartridges. It loses one and one-half stars for not lasting longer AND not giving customers a discount for buying more than one cartridge at a time. HP 21 Black Ink Cartridge, Twin Pack

If you really do not want to throw out your printer out every time it runs out of ink you cannot go wrong with this deal. The twin pack is a hair more than most dealers single packs, you have spare on hand, and you order half as often. Now if they had one for the color too, that would be perfect.

It seems like everyday, we are trting to find the best in inkjet cartridges these days. Although some are cheaper than others, like store brands, it is the quality that makes the difference. This 2 pack of HP 21 Black inkjet cartridges is easy to setup for your printer, and connects like a snap. These cartidges works very well with my printer. They are also compatable with the Deskjet 3900 series and other HP printers. I really recommend this 2 pack because it saves in money and in value for all your everyday printing needs.

Price: B+

Quality: B+

Overall: B+

I am writing this review to give this ink the credit it deserves. Since the

guy before me took his frustration (of the seller) out on the ink, I feel it only fair to say that I have used this ink cartridge for 2 years and I print a lot! So, I have probably used about 40 or more of this exact kind of cartridge.

I have never had any kind of problem with it in any way. It is easy to install, uninstall and the quality is great.

This is my first review of any item but I felt I must let people know that this is a good product since some people give it a bad name just because they are mad at the seller.

The seller does not even appear to be Amazon.

Next time don't give the ink a bad review because you are mad at one of

the many who sell for Amazon.

Buy the HP 21XL high capacity cartridge to get more ink for your $$. You won't be bothered with changing cartridges as often, either. The color cartridge is also available in higher capacity as the 22XL.

Why would anyone want to buy a twin pack, which is supposed to save money by "buying in volume", when it is MORE than double the price of a single cartridge? Amazon appears to need some help with their math on this one. Hopefully they'll fix this and my review will become unneeded. Until then, don't assume that a two pack is automatically a better deal.

I would give this cartridge a negative five stars if I could. I go way back to the 1980's in using computers. I have written many books and could always get 300 type-written, double-spaced pages from one cartridge. Until now, I have never had a complaint about the amount of ink in a cartridge. Then recently, I was given an HP All-in-0ne printer. I bought the twin pack of cartridges, and in no time, I was out of ink, in spite of the fact that the ink level displayed on my screen indicated that the cartridge was 1/4 full. The second cartridge did no better, but it showed I still had 1/2 of the ink left, even though it wouldn't spit out so much as a dot of ink. I figured those two cartridges must have been defective, so I bit the bullet and bought another twin set. I have printed about 15 pages with the latest cartridge, the ink shows 3/4 full, but it no longer prints. Yes, for each recalcitrant cartridge, I cleaned the cartridge as per the printer instructions. However, the only way I could get any more printed pages was to install a new cartridge. So, the barely-broken-in cartridges were obviously out of ink. I called Hewlett Packard, but they were no help. I am not paying exorbitant prices for cartridges with a smidgen of ink in them. I am looking for another brand of printer and will never buy another HP product again, especially not their cartridges.

Lens Protection - lens protection, photography

Well, I lost my lens cap down a sewer, so I just purchased a cheap generic 72mm cap. That was a mistake, the generic cap is difficult to put on and off, especially with the hood on the lens.

My new rule, buy genuine replacement caps :-) Canon E 72U - Lens cap

I recently purchased some other lenses for my Canon, and it didn't come with a cap, so this fited perfectly. I only took a star out because of the shipping cost. I ended up paying just as much for the shipping as I paid for the caps. If you can get them through Amazon super saver shipping it would be better.

Originally, I purchased a cheap cap replacement from a vendor. ($5 bucks including shipping)

When I got it, and tested it for 5 minutes, I had to return it. The cap was really hard to get on and off the camera quickly, the edges inside (touching the lens) were rough, and it just felt so cheap, and that it could possibly scratch the plastic part of my lens.

So I spent $6 more ($11) for a canon cap.

The difference is night and day.

The fit and finish is much better (just like your original one), much easier to put on and off, etc.

I give it 4 stars, because it costs $11 for a piece of plastic....

On the other hand, it's just $5 - $6 more than the no brand cheap pieces, and it is much much better than those.

Fits nicely on my lens. It's nice to have extra lens cap especially when it's like the original. These can get a little pricey for a piece of plastic but when you have a brand name on it like Canon, that's expected.

Rule of thumb is you can never go wrong with OEM items (if you like the manufacturer in the first place). I lost my original cap one night when I was in a river side. Instead of buying some cheap no name cap, I bought this one, and man, I love it. I feel that its better than original lens cap that came with lens. Its thicker, has better grip then original one. If we are spending $400 for the lens then why hesitate to spend $11 for original cap.

I have been lucky not to have had to replace the original lens cap before this as I'm bad about leaving them lying about. This one I lost on a hike when I broke my arm in a fall. (my camera was ok)

The replacement arrived quickly and fit perfectly. I can put it on and take it off with the lens hood in place. I may order an extra for each of my lenses, just to be safe. - Lens Protection - Accessories - Lens Accessory - Photography'

George Foreman - grill, easy clean up

I just got my George Foreman 360 and I was very surprised that the chicken breast were cooked through in so short amount of time. I kept cutting off pieces to make sure there was no pink uncooked meat b/c I couldn't believe how fast they were done. This is my first GF Grill and I can't wait to try more recipes.

FYI: Read the manual though. Even though the cookbook says to use cooking spray, the manual states "aerosol cooking spray should not be used on the non stick surface because the chemicals that allow the spray to come out of the can build up on the surface of the grill plates and reduce their efficiency" Instead it says to light oil the cooking plates.

I too was so excited to get this grill and cook up something for dinner the day I got it. Unfortunately, there is a paper plate sized sticker affixed right to the top of this unit that clearly states to remove before use. The sticker did not come off easily at all. Just as you start taking it off it rips so you move to another section and start peeling and it rips again leaving sticky gooey glue behind that is very difficult to remove. After two hours, and using several different things to lift the stickiness we were finally able to use the grill. We made quesadillas and they were awsome! I can't wait to make pizza and to grill up some steaks. All around the grill itself is fabulous, but the person who decided to slap that huge sticker on there should be forced to remove every one from these grills themselves.

It is worth every penny! I wanted the latest from George because I know that it knocks out the fat and thought I would give this 360 Grill a shot. Now i'm cooking so much more right in the grill...I dont even take it off the counter. Its like a one stop shop. I didnt notice the adjustable angle at first, but once i looked at the manual i thought what a clever feature...it flattens out so that you can griddle or make pizza on the grill (I have not made a pizza yet, but cant wait to get creative!)

I COOKED A WHOLE FROZEN PIZZA FASTER THAN I COULD IN A TOASTER OVEN. I MADE PERFECT QUESIDILLA POCKETS CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND GOOEY ON INSIDE. AND TODAY I MADE BURGERS AND WATCH THE YUCKY FAT DRAIN OFF. I LOVE THIS THING! P.S. MY STICKER CAME OFF JUST FINE!

I am pleased w/ the grill that I purchased. It does a great job grilling meat and vegetables, paninis, sandwiches and baking pizza. It is really easy to exchange the plates and it is very easy for cleaning. I am very impressed with the non stick plates, it works really well with grilled cheese. The inclination angle feature is very helpful to get the fat out.

Two things I did not like which avoided it to receive 5 stars from me:

1- There is a very large sticker attached to the entire top of the unit w/ a very strong adhesive. I spent hours trying to remove the sticker and then the adhesive from my new grill and I had to scratch it with the plastic fork and windex. I was very disappointed with this unecessary and unresponsible ad. After 3 weeks is gone.

2- The grill cannot be in a 180 degress position like the Cusinart in order to grill with/ the top opened.

Overall is a good product and I am very happy w/ the following features:

1- Faster to heat and cook;

2- Easy to exchange and cleaning plates;

3- Inclination tool to help on the fat flow;

4- Non stick at all plates

5- Design

Great product. Best one I have used yet. The sticker is an issue after reviewing the other reviews. Here is the trick. Heat the sticker with a hair dryer first, catch an edge of the sticker with your finger nail and pull slowly. When heated just right the sticker simply pulls free. If it doesn't, heat the area your pulling on until you feel it release and continue until you remove the entire sticker with no residue left behind. I heated the entire sticker first then grabbed the edge, and continued to heat the sticker from where I was pulling first. Sticker came off easily in one pull. The one thing I was disappointed in was the product packaging. The shipping box was perfect but the packaged box had evidently been wet and had come apart. I can't believe that they would ship what was said to be new to arrive in this kind of condition. This was a gift to a family member and kinda of embarrassing to explain. The product however is fine and would highly recommend it. - Easy Clean Up - Indoor Grill - George Foreman - Grill'

Lga1155 - cpu, sandy bridge

I bought this as an upgrade for a stalwart Intel q6600 Core 2 Quad system I have been using for the past two years. My previous q6600 system was over-clocked (3.0ghz) and coupled with high performance parts to maximize efficacy. I figured this chip would be a MILD improvement over my aforementioned unit. Delightfully, I was WRONG.

The 2500k:

Saying this chip is a good "bang for the buck" is somewhat inaccurate. It's a sonic boom for the buck. It over-clocks to 4.5Ghz on air with moderate temperatures with a basic ($30) after-market air cooler and runs completly stable. I decided to run this chip on a daily basis at 4.0Ghz to preserve the longevity of its operation. This chip is excellent for use in programs like Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and of course gaming. Providing you have an adequate video card this CPU simply WILL NOT let you down in intense graphic CPU-based games (Star Craft 2) or taxing programs (CS4+).

CONCLUSION:

This is an excellent chip with stellar price to performance ratio.

PRO's:

-Fantastic Value

-Runs Cool

-"K" edition is unlocked and easily overclocked

-Amazon's current pricing is in-line with the web's best.

-Loves to be overclocked with relatively low voltage.

CON's:

-No hyper threading (have to go to the i7 sandy bridge for HT)

-Does not make chocolate chip cookies or sing "Soft Kitty" to cheer you up when you are sick.

Bottom line:

Click the order button and make this baby yours. Unless you want the i7 for the hyper-threading capability (recommended for intense video editing, taxing multi-tasking and encoding). Kudos to Intel- this is a great architecture and worthy successor to their previous lines.

If you have any questions feel free to ask I will try to respond ASAP. Intel Core i5-2500K Processor 3.3GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA1155

I have it running at 4.9 GHz with liquid cooling, and no stability issues. It was able to be overclocked up to 4.0 GHz with stock cooling.

If you're building a computer with this CPU, make sure that your motherboard is compatible. Only a motherboard with LGA 1155 will work with 2nd-generation Intel processors (e.g. this one). There are three types of motherboards with LGA 1155: H67, P67, and Z68. Motherboards with H67 don't allow you to overclock. P67 motherboards allow you to overclock, but don't allow you to use the CPU's built-in graphics card (so you will have to buy a separate graphics card). Z68 motherboards don't have any restrictions. Personally, I chose to buy a P67 motherboard because it was slightly cheaper than Z68, and I didn't need the built-in graphics. But it's really up to you.

I got the i5 2500k at launch (1/9/2011) and I'm blown away by the performance. I'm upgrading from a core 2 duo 2.66. This gets a 7.5 in the Windows Experience Index (not over-clocked).

This thing runs cool with the stock fan and my standard $80 case with 3 fans. I have an ASUS mobo and used the OC wizard to get the turbo boost to 4.43ghz. Ran prime95 for 10 minutes with no issues, the cores got up to 50c on the hottest core. Even at that temp, I could barely hear the stock cpu fan at 2,000 rpm. The case fans run at 800 rpm.

My advice: save your money and buy this instead of i7 2600k. Use that money to get an SSD. Even a cheap kingston value series ssd will blow away your 7200rpm disk.

This chip (Intel's Sandy Bridge) is a significant step from the prior Intel i5/i7 model (Nehalem) in that it runs real cool, and is simple to overclock, and is fast. I have it comfortably OC'd at 4.5Ghz (from 3.3Ghz) with a $30 air cooled heatsink. Video encoding that used to take 90 minutes on my old 2.4Ghz dual core PC takes me 10 minutes on my new PC with this CPU. I NEVER OC'd before in my life, but this chip is simple to work with if you have a half decent motherboard. I just went into my bios and bumped the CPU multiplier from 33 to 45 and rebooted. Runs fast and cool at 1/4th the cost of the best Nehalm (in my opinion)! I tried it at higher multiples and it worked fine, but didnt see a significant improvement in encoding speeds, so I dropped it back down to 4.5Ghz to reduce unnecessary heat in my case. My CPU doesnt run hotter than 55 degrees at 100% load with a cool master hyper 212+ heatsink.

If you want or need hyperthreading, you can go with the i5-2500k's big brother, the i7-2600k. I read on the web that side by side tests suggested that the i7's hyperthreading didnt really make a significant impact in encoding speed versus this cpu, which is a main benefit of hyperthreading, so I decided to save the $80 and stick with the i5...

If you want a fast computer, its actually cheaper to replace your current mobo and get a new mobo and this CPU (all in maybe $400) than it is to go and buy a top of the line CPU that fits a 775 or 1156 chipset. Actually, I recommend doing that now that the Sandy Bridge SATA recall is over. For $150-$200 you can get a new mobo that not only supports this awesome chip, but also USB 3.0 and SATA 3 (6Gbps). Think about it! - Computer - Cpu - Sandy Bridge - I5'
