Hdmi Cable - amazon hdmi cables, hdmi cables

I use this connector to view the video output of my Nikon D300s DSLR, attached to a Meade ETX-125 telescope, on a Samsung HDTV. It's a lot of fun to pan across the craters of the moon in real time with this setup. A more conventional use might be slides shows viewed from the camera body, but IMHO a better way to do that is view the images from a PC attached to the HDTV (better control of the show through software than through a camera). But the cable itself is up to the the task. It's well-made and affordable for 2 meters, which I think is the minimum length necessary to be useful in most situations. AmazonBasics High Speed Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ethernet (6.5 Feet / 2 Meters)

Well constructed HDMI cable with good shielding and well finished connectors. This cable is being used for connecting our Flip Ultra HD directly to an HD TV, I am not sure why others have said this does not work with Flip cameras as it clearly works flawlessly us. If your signal is only traveling 6.5 feet I see no reason to pay a premium for other cables AmazonBasics show no signal degradation and they are a bargain.

I have purchased many Amazon Basics cables. Universally they have been high quality and an exceptional value. I use this cable so I can output photos and videos to my TV.

When I need a new cable I always look to AmazonBasics first to see if they provide the cable I need, if there is a cable available from Basics, I stop shopping buy the Basics cable.

The packaging is great! No horrible clam shell plastic, just a cardboard box with a sticker holding it shut. Genius simplicity! - Hdmi Cables - Amazon Hdmi Cables - Hi Def - Hdmi'

Kids Fishing - fishing gear, kids fishing

I purchased this rod/reel combo for the convenience of having an outfit that would fit inside my checked baggage when I travel on airlines. The initial performance was good; I used it to catch a dozen or so rainbow trout while fishing in the Donner Lake region of California. The padded bag survived the trip quite well, and storage is more than adequate. The only flaw I encountered was some loosening of the rod sections after several casts. If you don't pause to push everything in tightly periodically, the rod tip (or even the whole rod) will separate and get flung into the lake with your lure. Okuma VS-605-20 Voyager Spinning Travel Kit

I recently purchased a Okuma rod and reel travel pack. I used it a couple of times to make sure it worked ok before my trip. It is a very nice combo that casts easily and has a light enough action that I enjoyed using it to catch small panfish. The whole pack is a bit bulky but worth the space to make sure your rod and reel get to your destination in good shape.

Don't plan on whipping this out of the case in a hurry and dipping your hook in the water. It takes some setup and tear-down time, as it does not easily come apart to fit in the case with the reel attached and the line strung. Look somewhere else if you want a quick solution for back country fishing where compact is key. To its credit, the rod has nice action and the reel seems well built. Comes with no line and only one spool. It is not telescopic.

I got this item for a Christmas gift and it was perfect for the beginner fisherman. It was safely packed so nothing could get broken and was easily assembled. I strongly recommend this item for a gift for someone whose trying to get their fishing kit together.

I purchased this fishing rod for my grandson. He was thrilled with the case that the fishing rod came in. He can carry everything that he needs in the case and go fishing. He takes his bike so the case works very nice.

I've used this rod 2-3 times a week for the past three months and am, for the most part, satisfied with the purchase. The rod/reel combo is of good quality and there's room enough in the case for a basic set of tackle. The case fits very nicely on a mountain bike tail rack and has proven to be very durable.

Now the reel is not nearly as smooth as my $120 Shimano and the rod tip will occasionally come loose on a very energetic cast. Still, the action is much better than a typical telescopic travel rod and the price is definitely right. The trout seem to like it too.

I purchased this item about a month ago and had it shipped out to my FOB here in Iraq. I am deployed deployed in an area that has a small lake and there are some trout sized fish all the way up to 5 foot long carp and other species of related "freshwater" fish. I have used the pole about 10 times and nothing has went wrong with the quality of the pole or reel. The top of the base had cracked when i hooked into a fish simply because i didnt seat the first section of the rod in tight enough. Overall a GREAT buy for this product! I would recomend it to anyone that is looking for a reliable breakdown travel rod. Thanks for a grea product and providing shipping to military!

This is a good, compact unit for travel and camping. The rod assembles easily and seems to be of good quality. It is stored in sections, not telescoping. The reel was a little difficult to set up and adjust, but worked well when everything was assembled. The case is nice quality, but not lightweight ripstop - a little bulky and heavy for serious backpacking.

The Okuma Voyager Travel Pack is everything that I had expected. Today I went back on line at Amazon to order another one for my wife to use when we are on trips to Colardo, Ohio, etc. However, I got the message "Currently unavailable. We do not know when or if this item will be back in stock". I hope that the quickly restock this item.

Sad, I will now look elsewhere.

However, If I cannot find it, I will check back with Amazon - the service and delivery meet exceeded expectations. - Fishing Gear - Fishing Rod - Okuma - Kids Fishing'

Dremel Multi-max - dremel multi-max, dremel

I used this paper to remove old thinset. While it was useful for getting into tight corners, the reality is that the Dremel Multi tool is not well suited for tasks that require heavy pressure; it depends more on the high-speed motion to do its work. The diamond paper holds up well and is long lasting, but without pressure on the material to be removed, its effectiveness is limited. Dremel MM900 Multi-Max Diamond Paper

I got this pad to even out some rough spots in the concrete floor of the basement. There were areas of lumpy concrete from a waterproofing job. This pad does the job, but creates a ton of dust which is unavoidable.

Used to remove the grout behind the soapdish in the tub. It did a great job. I could get right into the corners without creating a lot of dust. The paper cleaned out the grout fast, and it didn't clog.

When first I bought my Multi-Max I splurged on a few unnecessary items and that includes this diamond paper.

One Sunday morning I was in the bathroom. I mean, I was upgrading a cabinet that's in the bathroom, replacing wood shelves with new mirrored ones. For some strange reason there was one mirrored shelf that would not fit into the cabinet.

The glass shop being closed on Sunday I decided to fix it myself with my Max. Never had I worked on glass before. I didn't know what to expect: Would it chip? Dremel never mentioned anything about glass.

I attached the diamond paper to the tool. I experimented with the speed, 1 to 10. I touched it to the glass. I shaved back and forth. Very soon I realized it required 10 speed. When seeing white dust I was relieved. It was the same white dust I had seen at the shop.

I shaved off 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch and the shelf slid easily into the cabinet. The diamond paper + hook and loop pad did take a beating, but still were operational.

I used this "sandpaper" for one tile square. It may be fine for just a finish sand, but for any other task, one will need a much harder and stronger grinder. The promises do not match the actual result. I blame that more on the Home Depot salesperson who sold me the Multi-Max. - Multi-tool - Dremel - Oscillating Tool - Dremel Multi-max'

Phone Cable - iphone, iphone 4

Okay, I hopefully want to leave a helpful review for people.

So first off, I ordered this cable because I wanted to be able to charge my ipod from long distances away.

When I travel, the wall socket is not always close to where I want it to be, because I use a wall adapter.

I did not get this for syncing because I knew it would not work.

Now, The actual cable I received was 6.5 feet long exactly, But, it was white.

Why did I get a white cable, I don't know, but I really don't mind the color of my sync cable.

Now, The reason you are all having trouble with syncing is because of the length of the cord. When a cord gets to be that long it has higher latencies, and syncing with it can be a heck of a mess to attempt. Because power is usually sent at a constant rate, it is not affected by the cord length, or latency does not matter. But with data, it is sent from the USB and by the time it gets to the ipod it is slightly scrambled; and I'm sure that the actual quality of the wire inside the shielding isn't that great either, although that doesn't matter to power, as long as there is a connection.

So, if you are considering getting this cable, be aware that it will:

1) Maybe come in white...

2) Probably not sync correctly

and 3) Charge perfectly (which is all I needed it for) Extra Long Black iPod / iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 USB Charge and Sync Cable, More Than Double the Length of the Standard Cord - 2m (6.5ft) Long. UPDATE: NOW FITS IPHONE 4 BUMPER AND ALL OTHER CASES

Hello.

I recently purchased this cable due to its blackness beauty. Sadly, I don't know if this product is just "cheap" quality or mine was defective.

Pros:

Its black.

Cons:

Takes about 40 seconds to start the charge.

Does not sync with iPhone 3GS.

Took 25 min for just 1% charge!!!

Will request a replacement. Update if the other product is good.

Worked the first time and then started having problems. When we

use it it started messing up the keyboard on the I phone so that the phone

would not work until you unplugged it and shut down the phone

and restarted it. I would not recommend this at all, save your money.

An extra long iphone cable, who would have thought. I mean who really needs to sit farther than 2 inches from your phone while it charges. This product fixes that problem and is very reasonable, I am a happy shopper.

I have tried to use this cable for 3 weeks with both an iPad and iPhone 4. I really wish it was reliable, but it is not. Save yourself the $10.

The iPad and iPhone frequently disconnects or becomes unavailable in iTunes. This is without any case on the devices. Whenever I switch back to the original Apple cable, everything works perfectly.

The iPad shows up as having 'null' software version when using with Xcode.

The devices display the charging indicator, however they never charge when plugged into this cable.

The connector on this cable is thicker than the original Apple cable and this prevents reliable functionality when using the official Apple Bumper case.

The length of this cable is great, it feels as long as every cable should be whiles still being thin and very manageable. The cable stays plugged into my iPad/iPhone authentic Apple charger but only really charges the iphone. It seems to not like charging the iPad. When the iPad is plugged in it does not charge. My ipad is currently on 4.2.1. Other than that, for it's length alone I would recommend it. The price could be better though, that way I would have gotten multiple cables if they were 5 bucks a pop. - Phone Cable - Iphone - Ipod Cable - Iphone 4'

Photosmart C6380 - hp ink, hp photosmart

The biggest complaint for personal inkjets is well.. ink. It's always expensive and you feel like you are spending the lionshare of your purchase on the fancy packaging and plastic delivery mechanism. We use our printer for casual use and a decent amount of photo 4x6 printing. These XL inks definitely last longer than the std versions that shipped with the printer, and yellow always seems to go first. But they work as advertised, and never last as long as you want them to. We've had our printer for 2 years and replaced inks once a year now.

The colors seem to pop when using the special 4x6 papers and drying time is very fast. I haven't seen any fading in pictures that were printed 2 yrs ago with these inks, and they are advertised to not fade, so i guess its working as advertised. HP 564XL Photo Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging (CB322WN#140)

There is really not much to say about a replacement ink cartridge. It works, it's easy to install. The quality is top class. Make sure you have the correct cartridge because there is another black ink cartridge that is not for photos and they are not interchangeable. The photo ink cartridge is twice the size of the regular one.

I bought a 564xl ink cartridge for my HP printer from Amazon. I checked my specific printer model to make sure the cartridge would be compatible with my printer. The information on Amazon indicated this cartridge would work in my printer. When I tried to install the cartridge, my printer info told me that the cartridge was " either defective or empty". I contacted an Amazon rep. who told me to call another company. When I was finally able to get a response back from the other company, I was first told they would not accept the cartridge back and NO REFUND! After I continued to talk to the rep, she finally offered to check with a manager who said I could send it back and would be charged a 20% restocking fee. I am not pleased with Amazon or the other company..I should have been told to begin with the cartridge was not compatible with my HP printer. This is poor representation when a company does not stand behind the products they sell or make some effort to "make things right" with a paying customer. This has put a negative light on Amazon for me....

This 564xl photo black ink cartridge doesn't work for B209a photosmart printer. Such confusion is perplexing, now i have an opened pack of this 564xl but alas the only one i need for now, the plack ink isn't suitable for this B209a model; of course you are expected to know in advance by some miracle that there's a compactibility problem in the horizon when ................. you know what ..... you don't want to know how disappointed i am right now.

The HP 564XL Photo Black ink was listed as customers who bought related items under the HP Photosmart Plus B209A product description also bought the HP 564XL Photo Black Ink. One would then assume that the Photo Black ink would work in the B209A. WRONG. This ink will not work in the B209A. You need 564XL BLACK not PHOTO BLACK.

This ink worked just as I expected an Ink Jet ink to work. So far, we have made over 100 copies with it and there is still plenty of ink left in the container. At this rate, it appears that it will perform as it says it will. My only complaint so far is that it smears when using a highlighter, but that has happened with all the inks I have used over the years.

Just wanted to post it somewhere on the page with the item that this is not intended for Photosmart PLUS - which you can't find out until you have already received the cartridge. What am I supposed to do now?

I see where several others have had this same problem. I wanted 564XL black ink, and that's what I thought I was ordering. Oops - I got 564XL "photo" black - which won't work in my Photosmart Plus printer. VERY misleading, especially since I have a "photosmart" printer (that takes 564XL ink!!!)

I realize that this is an HP problem - not Amazon - but I REALLY wish the description could make this more clear.

I ordered 564XL black - who knew there were 2 different kinds? - Hp Ink - Hp Photosmart - 564xl - Black'

Ipod Accessories

This Nike+ kit works with your ipod nano, 3rd Gen and above. If you've got an ipod touch, it has its own receiver built in, so you don't need the whole kit, just the sensor- which is cheaper ($19).

This is not a 'pedometer'. It doesn't count your steps. It uses a much more accurate way to measure pace and distance- which is based on the inverse relationship between foot ground time and speed. If you're a 'normal' person, it may be pretty accurate right out of the box, but you can run a measured distance at your normal pace and calibrate the unit. When running at my 'regular' pace, I've found it to be remarkably accurate- hitting mile markers to within a few steps (which is more accurate than my Garmin GPS). However, the calculated relationship breaks down if you run up/down steeper hills, so that will throw it off. Also, if you significantly change your pace, it will come up a little short or long, but still generally within a few percent. Hey- nothing is perfect. Even my Garmin GPS gets 150ft off sometimes.

One of the best parts about it is that your run info gets uploaded to the Nike web site which provides zippy colorful graphs and plots, and lots of motivational tools, training plans, group challenges and such. All free!

There's no cheaper, better way to keep track of your running mileage. Kudos to Nike on this one. Oh- Nike sneakers have a built in spot for the sensor. But, if you don't run in Nike's, not a problem. You'll need to buy a little pouch that holds in on your shoe laces. Plenty choices available here on Amazon. I like the Switcheasy one myself. Nike + iPod Sport Kit (NEWEST VERSION) [Retail Packaging]

I recently purchased the entire nike plus system. It was great and easy to use, but once I loaded my first run onto the nike website from my phone an ad for a new nike app popped up. For around 2 dollars you can get a the NIke+ GPS app, that will do away with having to buy Nike specific shoes or even the little sensor. This is great because not only do you not need to buy all the extras but you don't have to change your brand of shoes, which is a huge issue for most serious runners. I ran with both for a while and the Nike+ GPS app is far more accurate and does not require a calibration run. Hopefully this helps you avoid buying the extras.

I had high hopes for this product as I am an avid long-distance runner. The setup and integration with ITunes, etc. are great. It is easy to put it all together to go out for a run. I ran one run without calibrating it and ended up having it undermeasure by about 10% (It measured 9.0 for a 9.7 mile run). I then calibrated it on my next run and it worked well that day. The next run, however, it was off again about 10%. So the next run I calibrated it again and it worked okay for that day. The next run... You get the picture. I don't know why it won't work for me, but I am really frustrated and wish I wouldn't have purchased this product. The idea and ease of use are terrific, but if it can't measure my runs with accuracy--this is a no go.

I've been using the Nike + sensor since mid-September. I have Nike Pegasus shoes that are designed with a pocket to hold the chip and an ipod nano 5th gen. I've logged just over 100 miles with it on the Nike website. This thing motivates me to keep moving so I can log more miles.

I love how many options it gives you. You can set it for a 5k workout on shuffle or a specific playlist or a specific song (I use Personal Running Trainer mp3's, also on amazon). When you select a specific distance or time, it gives you periodic updates "1 kilometer completed" "halfway point" and those are nice. If you do a basic workout, you get no automatic updates, but if you push the center button on your ipod it will update you on your time, distance and pace.

Then at the end of your workout, it tells you your time, distance, average pace, and calories burned. If you beat your best time for a mile, or go further or longer than you have in the past, a famous athlete's voice comes on and congratulates you. It's great to hear Tiger Woods congratulate you on your fastest mile.

On the Nike website, it logs all of your runs, and posts your runs to facebook if you want it to. I compete in challenges with my friends for "who can run the fastest 5k" or "who can log the most miles in February" and you can set your own personal goals as well, and you get medals when you achieve them.

As for accuracy, if you change your stride, due to changing surfaces, you can recalibrate the sensor at the end of the workout if needed. If you run on a track, and you know you did 3 miles, but the sensor is off by a little bit, just tell it what you really did, and the website will log what you told it to, and now it's recalibrated for next time. I've heard of some people buying multiple chips for walking, one for running, and one for racing, but I've found that it's usually really close. When you calibrate on its own, as opposed to the end of a workout, it does not keep track of those distances for that time you spent calibrating. I currently have mine calibrated to the treadmill, and I might have to recalibrate it when I start running outside again, but I don't know.

I have friends that have other brand shoes, and they bought the separate holder to hold the chip on their laces, and they like it just fine, so you don't need Nike shoes to use this.'

Good Value - good value

I just happened to pick this up at my local Office Depot store. There was a returned open box item that somehow was returned by a unsatisfied customer. It got for for $14.13 due to a 10% discount.

Anyhow, I am using this switch to add additional ports to my Trendnet router which was purchased a year and a half ago from Amazon. This unit is really compact and sleek 3"x 4.5" x 3/4" almost like a scaled down Linksys router. Setup and hookup was easy and painless and quite frankly I am truly amazed with the speed both upload and download. You really can't tell the difference whether your ethernet cable is plugged into the main router or this switch. Really outstanding. Only problem is because the unit is quite small that the five inputs are quite close together so that your RJ45 plugs may feel quite snug if the surrounding jackets or are left on. Otherwise, great little product. I should have bought the 8 port version which sold for $5 more. Right now, it sits directly on top of the routers with a pair of clothes pins for additional ventilation until I can make a small wooden stand for it. Looks and runs really cool. Please give it your best consideration. D-Link DES-1005E 5-Port 10/100 Desktop Switch

Compact, nice looking, works perfectly, I paid the extra ten bucks to have this aesthetically looking unit then the other ugly blue ones I saw here for less. It is very lightweight so you may have issues with keeping flat on the ground. - Good Value'

Christmas Gift Ideas - christmas gift ideas, nostalgia electrics

This hot dog maker is obviously waay cute. It's also a good price. Compared to other cutesy hot dog makers, 8 dogs is a good number. I love the carnival themed umbrella sneeze guard over the dogs, and having that double as a bun warmer was an inspired idea. The poles that hold up the umbrella are nice and sturdy, and it assembles in only 1 minute. This thing has many bonus features:

*Rollers look just like the industrial unit at your local convenience store. They really roll!

*It can also handle 4 foot long dogs and even foot long buns! That's really great because my wife loves those. However, 4 is an anemic number.

*Nostalgia went to the extra expense to include an on/off switch and even a temp control. Temp control should prove useful vs. devices that do not include that.

*This unit includes a griddle attachment for hamburgers/bacon/sausage, etc. I think the unit is too small to be useful for frying hamburgers; you could only do two at a time. The griddle drops in where the rollers would otherwise go, so switching functions is not going to be convenient and will require tools or heat proof gloves if you don't want to wait for a cool-down period.

*The heating element is a beefy rectangular coil that gives good coverage of the cooking area and is directly exposed to the dogs, yielding fast, strong heat.

*The drip tray, griddle, and rollers are all removable for easy cleanup. Love that.

*The rollers are beefy all metal construction - nice.

So that adds up to one very nice unit, of which Nostalgia should be proud. The only real shortcoming I see is that eight dogs, while a good number for a toy device like this, can't stand up to much crowd control. Figure at least two dogs for each child, and three for each man and you're feeding only three to four people per batch. Assume the thing is lightning fast at ten minutes per batch and you see that you're going to need ten of these toys to feed your super bowl party, hahahaha.

Then you have to ask yourself, is this gizmo worth the space? It's pretty big, about the size of a toaster oven. Will you keep it out on the counter and use this special purpose device often (doubtful)? How far back in the closet will it be stored and will you go to the trouble to drag it out to cook up dogs for three people, pack it back up, and re-store it (doubtful)? So is it worth the space? I think it's probably best suited for its intended audience: a party of four kiddos.

I love this machine for one simple reason: it's easy enough to use that my 5 year old daughter is now able to make dinner for us. This was a great purchase. The hot dogs cook evenly and the buns get nice and warm. You can turn the heat down after the dogs are done cooking and let them spin on low heat until you are ready for another. I was nervous when I got it that I'd bring it home and it would be made cheaply and break easily, but no... this is a quality product. I am very happy with it. My daughter and her friends love this machine and it makes making lunch a breeze. I haven't used the gridle feature, but I don't really care about that. This is a great hot dog maker. End of story.

I bought this to use for my grandson's fifth birthday next week after reading the glowing reviews. We (actually, he) wanted to test it out so we did. Now we have used it about 4 times. As others have said, it makes the best hot dogs ever - must be the slow dripping of the juices as it rotates the dogs. It's easy to use and my grandson loves cooking his own (with supervision, of course).

I usually find that "gimmicky" things don't work well but this really does. Morevover, cleanup is a breeze - the rollers and the drip tray both remove easily. The heated buns are great also.

We just need to remember to buy "shorter" hot dogs for his party so we can cook eight at a time.

Thanks to all the folks who took the time to review this! I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for the great reviews

Addendum: 7/12/08:

We have had this for several months now and use it several times per week. My grandson still loves hot dogs made on this and several of our neighbors have decided to buy one. A must have if you like hot dogs!

I bought this for my dad for his birthday after consulting with my mom. They both loved it. It's cute, works well and was a hit at his birthday party. It does take a little while for the hotdogs to cook, so plan for that and start early enough. But no complaints here.

Got a replacement, and new unit works GREAT! - Amazon won't let me change Stars, but I'd change to 4.5 if I could.!

I purchased this after reading the reviews. I had no desire to use this for a party or large gathering, just one serving at a time ( 4-8 dogs). I tried it the day after it arrived and once since. The heating coils turn warm, but they don't warm up enough to prevent touching them after an hour on MAX heat. We tried two batches, after 1 hour the dogs were warm, more than room temp, but thats it. Called the company, they said to return to Amazon, we probably have a defective unit. - Christmas Gift Ideas - Christmas Gift - Food Processor - Gift Idea - Hot Dog - Nostalgia Electrics'

Iphone Case - iphone 4, clips

I like this iPhone 4 holster from Grantwood Technology. I'm calling it a holster to distinguish it from the close-fitting protective sheaths that contain the phone, which are also called cases. I bought the Bumper Edition instead of the original Flipcase because I knew I would use a case with the phone, and this holster has a somewhat looser fit to accommodate that.

After four weeks of use, I am very happy with it. The holster has a belt clip with a metal tip to facilitate sliding over a belt or waistband, and it's a tight grip; it hasn't once popped off my belt.

Another reason that holster is an appropriate name for this thing is that it only took a few tries to develop a one-hand quickdraw. It has a very positive magnetic closure, and it has a cutout at the bottom through which you can pop the phone up with a finger while your thumb lifts the flap. I store my phone with the screen facing inside, so I can pop the phone out with one hand and it's ready for operation. I read that similar cases are sold with Velcro closures, but I can't imagine that Velcro would allow such a smooth operation.

On the fit: when I got the holster I was using a SwitchEasy Colors case, which has a convex button over the iPhone's Home button. The Flipcase's fit was tight enough that it kept pressing the button and activating the phone, so I switched to a Speck case. The Speck fit perfectly in the holster. After a couple of weeks I tried the SwitchEasy case again, and the holster had loosened up just enough so that it no longer pressed the Home button.

I bought my case directly from the Grantwood Technology web site, and exchanged a couple of emails with the staff, which seemed very service-oriented. However, I'm taking one star off for the bogus price markdowns on the Amazon page; on Grantwood's site the price is $17.99, a price it is well worth. NEW!! QuickFlipCase for iPhone 4, Apple Bumper Edition, Grantwood Technology's Premium Leather Horizontal Flip Case (Black)

Following the reviews I read, I ordered the Grantwood QuickFlipCase. It is great! I have a Verizon iPhone with a Splash bumper and it fits right in and is easily and quickly removed. Further, the clip goes on my belt easily yet feels totally secure. Not really anything more I could have wanted...looks great as well.

I have been looking for a case for my new iPhone for a while. Every case I found was too tight since I have a protective case on it. This case fits snugly enough to make me feel safe, but also is roomy enough that my iPhone goes in and out with ease.

I also LOVE the magnetic closure instead of Velcro which I tend to get all clogged up after a while.

Excellent product and quick delivery!

Thanks again!

I looked for various cases for my iPhone 4 after I received the free cover. I had had my previous case for years and hated giving it up but the cover made the phone too large. I looked at all the usual stores in town but the cases they had didn't fit the phone, were too expensive, or were not what I was looking for in style. I wear the phone on my belt and like a magnetic flap that holds the phone securely in the case but isn't such a hassle when you need to remove the phone (velcro is a pain). The QuickFlip case was exactly what they said it would be, precisely what I wanted, and priced as cheap as anything I had seen in the stores that would even fit the phone. I highly recommend the case and am thinking about getting a second one as a backup. If you are looking for a solid case to hold your iPhone 4 with the case on, then you've found it here.

I was looking for a holster to fit my Iphone 4 with a case (rather than keep it in my pants pocket). The QuickFlipCase arrived and I was very impressed. The Iphone 4 fit perfectly. The case appears to be high quality with good stitching and leather. The packaging from the vendor included a nice thank you and an offer for an opt-in email list. I like it when vendors use minimal packaging and treat their customers with respect. The product is perfect for my needs and very high quality. Highly recommended.

I tend to do a lot of research. When I decided to get the Verizon iPhone, I knew I would need a holster. Since I have always carried my mobile phones on my belt, keeping the tradition was a no-brainer. After reading all the good review on the Grantwood QuickFlipCase, I decided to get one.

I was very impressed with the quality of the product. I got the bumper edition since I knew I was going to have a Belkin silicone cover as well. After 3 weeks of using the holster, I couldn't be more please with my decision. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting a quality product at a great price.

When I came across this case on Amazon, I was impressed with all of the reviews and especially the positive ones. There were ten times the reviews of any other case. Then I read them, and most seemed phony looking like they were written by some marketing professional. I didn't know what to think. It was the only case with most of the physical characteristics I wanted with the exception of the white stitching. So I took what seemed like a gamble and bought it.

I received it promptly and quickly opened it to inspect it. I was surprised that it felt very sturdy and looked like good quality. The material that appeared to be leather (it looks almost too nice to be real) on the outside feels thick and soft. The clip felt sturdy. Next, I slid in my iPhone 4, and it fit very nicely with it's camo AGENT18 case on. It slid in and out very smoothly. I was happy.

Now to put it to the test. I only use this case for maybe 4 hours a week at the gym, and just after a few visits the edges of the lining (which looks synthetic) inside started fraying. This doesn't make any sense to me since the inside is not exposed to any of my workout activities. I do take the phone out of the case frequently to update my workout app so that may be it, but even so it should not be fraying so soon. Other than that the case is great. It's magnetic lid works great for for quickly taking the phone in and out of the case at the gym. And, there is an opening so that you can have your headphones plugged into your phone while it's in the case. I just clip it on the waist of my workout pants and go.

Overall, this is a great case. I would have given it 5 stars were it not for the fraying edges which is disappointing but I will probably just trim. And, if the outside is truly leather, then I should be able to keep it looking good with some shoe polish if it ever scuffs which is nice. I may even use some polish to color the white stitching black. - Belt - Clips - Iphone 4 - Holster'

Financial - secure, android

This app gets the job done. I like the variety of report options (total spent vs planned as bar graph, spent by category as pie graph, and list of all expenses input). I like that there is an option to export to excel, though Ive not tried it yet. The only feature that might be nice is an option to set goals for each category. Overall this app is easy to use, gives nice visuals of spending, anddoes what I need it to. Astral Budget - Financial - Free - Secure - Android'

Wenger Swiss Military

I can definately notice a difference in the quality of the product, as apposed to other cheaper watches. The watch keeps excellent time, and looks very nice. I use it mostly for work, and need it for tactical reasons. The only complaint is the knob that sets the watch is rather large and it dug into my wrist. Now that my skin callaused I don't even notice it anymore. Wenger Swiss Military Men's 72925 Classic Field Black Dial Black Leather Military Watch'

Decaffeinated - tea, herbal teas

During the summer months, I enjoy iced tea and prefer to make sun tea because it's so darn simple & energy-efficient. But finding tea that does well in the sun is difficult. The regular teas (black, green, white) become bitter when left standing too long, not surprisingly a requirement for sun tea. The herbals (fruits, chamomiles, mints) never seem to steep well in the sun and are generally bland & lack-luster. But this tea ... ah, heaven. Deep, robust, sweet, well-rounded. Personally, I think it is better as a sun tea than steeped the traditional way with hot water.

This tea steeps well in morning or afternoon sun. I always use glass (never plastic) and 6 bags for about 1.5 quarts. Makes a fantastic tea in 3-4 hours, and letting it sit for a couple more hours produces a tea that definitely needs to be watered down. Needs no sugar, no lemon. Perfect as is. Awesome, just awesome. I wouldn't go a summer without it.

I pick it up at Trader Joe's, and occassionally I find it at Target and Wal-mart. Nevertheless, considering that shipping is included in a subscription, Amazon's S&S price is fair and on-par with B&M retail outlets. Good Earth Original Caffeine Free Tea Bags, 18-Count, Boxes (Pack of 6)

I just received a shipment of this tea (6/24/10) and notice that on the Amazon info lists the third ingredient as "Artificial flavor", but the listing on the box says "Natural flavor" and specifically states there is no artificial flavor in it. So, don't be put off by the Amazon listing or reviews that used that as a source for their review.

I used to get this tea when at a Good Earth restaurant in California; sadly, they are no more. I was very happy to find it at Amazon. I make iced tea mostly. Very refreshing and I can drink it in the evening as it's decaf.

First, to the Natural/Artificial concerns - it really does say Natural Flavors in the ingredient list, NOT artificial as some of the reviews state. Box also states "No sugar, caffeine, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives". I've submitted a picture of the ingredients list to Amazon, which you can view at the top of this item page.

Ingredients list:

Red Rooibos, Chicory Root, Natural Flavor, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Papaya, Chamomile, Panax Ginseng Leaves, Anise Seed, Dandelion Root, Ginger Root, Orange Oil, Orange Peel.

I was given my first box of this tea by a friend who knew I liked cinnamon tea. Up to that point, my favorite tea was Celestial Seasonings' Bengal Spice. But when I tried Good Earth, I fell in love! Now I cannot find it anymore in any of the local stores that carried it, so I signed up for the regular shipments from Amazon.

Everyone I have shared this tea with tell me how much they enjoy it, that it hardly seems possible for tea to have such intense flavor and not need sweetening. I have to be sure to get some before my husband & kids finish the box without my getting a chance to have a few myself! Seems like every time I visit my mom now, she makes up some of this for us to share as some iced tea.

I do not use any sweetener, which says a lot because I use sweetener with pretty much every other kind of herbal tea I drink. Good Earth is great hot or cold, and it sure does give my tastebuds a gingerbread-like warmth on a fall or winter morning. There is no tea-ish, bitter taste or aftertaste.

If you love cinnamon, gingerbread, or a really good caffeine-free tea that doesn't need sweetening, give this one a try!

I found this tea originally at Trader Joe's before my local store stopped selling it. I was relieved to find it on Amazon! This is one of my favorite teas that I can drink every day. It is a sweeter tea that has a nice zip to it, but I don't find it too sweet. One thing I particularly love about this tea is that it continues to taste great no matter how long I leave the bag in. When I am working at home, I often make a large mug with one bag and then keep reheating and refilling throughout the day as needed. This makes it not only a nice addition to my day but very economical:) The fact that it's a bit sweet helps keep down any post-meal "dessert" cravings.

I LOVE this tea and am so glad Amazon carries it as it is hard to find in the stores. The one place I know that carries it is way more expensive than buying it online.

Great herbal tea that is strongly cinnamon and naturally sweet. I don't need to add any sweetner to this. I also find the tea bags go a long way. I only use 2 for a large saucepan full of water. I find the taste is somewhat addicting and I find regular tea boring after drinking this.

This is truly a great tea! It's caffine free. You don't have to add anything to make it better, and it's incredibly soothing! Stock up! I usually would get this at the grocery store, but they were having a hard time keeping it stock. A couple days was one thing, but when it went on to a couple of weeks I had to do something! So I ordered online. Now I have a back up reserve - it's that good!!

I take the individually wrapped tea bags with me wherever I go - friends, meetings, even restaurants. Quite often the aroma wafting outwards will prompt someone to ask me about it. I love that - I'll tell them about it and then I always try to have an extra or two to give out. Waitresses are always asking me about it, and I always offer one to them.

If you enjoy cinnamon and warm spices like that, you'll definitey enjoy this tea! And with no caffine you can even enjoy it late at night too!

Has anyone else noticed that the flavor seems to have changed in recent batches of Good Earth Original? I find it much "twiggier" for lack of a better descriptor, and not NEARLY as sweet and good as it was before. I'm going to buy another box to make sure that this isn't totally random, but this was the case with two boxes I bought, one of Original and one of Original Decaf. Other friends of mine have noticed this as well; I really hope they didn't change the formula because it is/was my favorite tea and I don't like what I'm tasting now! - Cinnamon Tea - Herbal Teas - Tea - Decaf Tea'

Articulating Wall Mount - cheetah, tv mount

The mount arrived on time.

I bought this to hang my Toshiba 52" above the fire place.

The instructions are easy to follow and any and all hardware come with the mount.

My only complaint is the mounting bracket, It could be wider.

The stud's in the wall are wider than 18" (non load bearing wall)

If it came with some sort of "extender" bracket then this unit would be absolutly PERFECT!.

I ended up cutting the sheetrock and added more 2x4 in the wall and put the sheet rock back.(wasn't too bad)

Once it was mounted, I extended the arm and put my weight on it (210lbs) this thing did not budge!

Very sturdy unit, it suprised the heck out of me.

I will buy another one without hesitation as soon as I get another flat TV for my bedroom.

Hope this help's!!!!

Max Cheetah Mounts 32"-55" Articulating LCD TV Wall Mount Bracket with Full Motion Swing Out Tilt & Swivel Dual Arms for Flat Screen Flat Panel LED Plasma Displays

I recently bought this Tv wallmount to hang my new 42" Toshiba clearscan 240 LCD. I was admittedly apprehensive about hanging my tv up on the wall, but after reading the reviews on the previous model by Cheetah and hearing the lone review on the newer model of wall mount, I decided to go for the upgraded model.

I am certainly glad that I did! The build quality of this beast of a mount is high, though just like the original mount it's fasteners are somewhat suspect, so I did what other recommended and went out and bought new bolts and jam nuts. (A tiny cost of 45cents for a few heavy duty nuts and bolts)

The assembly was straight forward, instructions easy to follow and it certainly holds up well under even my bodyweight when I tested the strength of it on the wall (didn't budge an inch). The fact that it's rated to hold far more then my tv's 59pounds was certainly a major plus in my mind.

The mounts movements are fluid, easily adjusted and seady when your done positioning it. I've got it hung so that it's positioned in a corner of the room, so as I move around to different area's of the room, such as my gaming desk I just turn it easily to face the desk, or the couch for movies/tv watching.

Don't buy one of these from Best Buy for $300.

Don't pay for someone to install one of these unless you can't operate a drill.

These Cheetah mounts are great. I have one APDAM3B (newer model) & one APDAM2B. They take no more than an hour to install - and that's with finding the studs (I would not mount one of this without standard 16" studs), making sure everything is level, double checking your measurements, etc.

They are extremely versatile (should fit most TV's and most homes) and very sturdy.

My LCD TV's are 40-50 lbs, but I would have no qualms about installing a big 100 lb Plasma.

The instructions are decent, but remember they can't account for every house and every TV.

I have a 46 inch Sanyo LCD TV that weighs a little under 60 pounds that I bought about 2 years or so ago. So it is well within the limits stated by the manufacturer.

That being said - this is overall a very solid TV mount/bracket. I will try to post pictures later, but I am hoping my solutions to some of the problems will help others.

First, I am in a newer house. So the studs are the normal 16 inches apart. My problem is I wanted to mount it on a wall that is between two closet doors. And once I started looking for the studs, it just so happens that there is a stub smack in the middle of that space. The space was about 30.5 inches wide of wall. So the next studs over were where the actual door frame was for each closet. I searched around the internet and found others that a similar problem. So what I did was (my friend's husband came up with this) I cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood to the size of the bracket part that was supposed to mount to the 2 studs. I spray painted it to match the black bracket. Then we screwed the bracket to the plywood in about 6 different places and then took three extra long bolts (may 2.5 or 3 inches?) and bolted the plywood to the stud. That thing is not going anywhere unless the entire stud comes down. It is VERY solidly attached to the wall. So that is how I solved the "one stud" problem.

The next issues I came across was that one arm on the mount moved fairly easily. It took some force, but I was glad it wasn't too loose or that may be a problem. However, the other arm was so tight that I stood on one side and tried to pull it out with both hands. It would not mave. My friend had to try 2 or 3 times with all of his strength to loosen the bolt. Once he finally managed to do that, it was fine. But good grief. It felt like someone had used some kind of pneumatic wrench to tighten that thing!

The last issue I had/have is that once we got everything on the wall and connected, etc., I looked behind the TV at the bracket. Before we mounted it, the entire bracket (the arms) could be pushed all the way back and the bracket would lay pretty flat. Once the TV was on it, you could see the arms leaning a bit at the top. It isn't noticeable when you watch the TV. And if it was, you could compensate by adjusting the tilt of the TV. But I would think that since my TV is less than 60 pounds and this bracket/mount is solid and weighs about 30 pounds itself, it shouldn't show any "sag" (for lack of a better word). So that is concerning because I wonder if it will sag more over time and with use?

And what others say about the built in bubble level... VERY true. It is way off. Do not trust it for sure. I had two levels of my own and the built in level. My two levels were dead on - both showed really close to perfectly level, where-as the bubble in the built in level was way over to one side.

Otherwise, this is a superb mount! I will try to take pictures soon and post. It works perfectly for what I needed and for the space I had to work with.

And those of you who are thinking "how did she put a 46 inch TV between two doors that are only 30.5 inches apart?" One of the closets is the hot water heater. So that really never gets opened. The other is a game closet. I do open that one often. But because this bracket has the articulating arms and you can swivel it, there is PLENTY of room to just pull the TV out a bit and open the door. It is perfect for me!

If you want to ask questions, please do. And I will try to help or explain what I can. I also put a wall shelf unit for the other TV apparatus like the DVD player, cable box, Nintendo, etc. When I get the chance I will review that unit (because I also bought it off of Amazon) and then post the link in case anyone is interested.

I subtracted a star because of the arm that was almost impossible to loosen and because there is a bit of sag in the bracket now that it is on the wall with the TV on it. I would have given 4.5 stars if that were possible. - Tv Mount - Cheetah - Tv Mounts - Articulating Wall Mount'
