When I purchased this watch I thought I might be disappointed when it arrived. I love being wrong sometimes. It arrived quickly and it was all I had hoped for and more. It is rather large, but it fits very well. And it is a watch that seems to get a lot of attention. It keeps great time and it was a great buy. Just don't tell your Yuppie friends what you paid for it. Invicta Men's 6620 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Silver Dial Watch

I bought this watch because of price, ratings, and looks. While not a Corduba, Reserve, or Subaqua, I am totally happy with this purchase. These along with the Russian dive watches I have purchased have all been excellent products. The dial size is perfect on this watch, not small but not super large either like the Russians. I will continue to browse Invicta when adding to my collection due to my past experiences with the Invicta line.

The simple and elegant face makes this watch a real stunner. I have two other Invictas, both with over sized faces and wanted some thing a little more understated. The 6620 is just the right size for daily wear.

I love the day indicator and date windows.

I could not be happier with this watch.

I purchased this watch as a gift for my son. He's a big guy so needs a big watch. He's a mechanical engineering student and this watch fits the engineer image. He was thrilled when he opened the package and said it is exactly what he wants. I was impressed with the ordering & shipping process. The item arrived quickly and all cross border (US - Canada) fees were dealt with efficiently. Amazon even credited my account when the tariff was reduced. Thank you!

I purchased this watch for my fiancé on June 10th, and it just arrive today (June 15th). Needless to say, this was shipped in such a swift manner and I did not even request the quicker delivery service. The watch itself is GORGEOUS, absolutely gorgeous. When I opened the box I was taken aback. The picture is no comparison to what this watch looks like in person. It is definitely a big watch -- the dial sits so wonderfully large and beautiful. I could not wait to give this to my fiancé and he absolutely loved it. He even stated that it was the best present he has ever received and that the watch was amazing. Personally, I fell in love with it, and for the price how could you say no? It was a little big for his wrist but he was so excited about it that he immediately wanted to get it resized (which took only about two minutes and cost less than $10). I had absolutely no complaints about the watch -- it is perfect all around. If you're thinking about buying this watch...STOP THINKING! Buy it! You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be purchasing more Invicta watches in the future.

I bought this watch a couple of month ago,it's still running perfectly.it's really a nice item, the design and the price.I think that this watch will last longer than my previous ones.the minor inconvenience is that the bracelet loses its beauty everytime it is scratched. But I definitely recommend this one.two thumbs up

The picture in the website looks great and I thought this is it. When it arrived, different story!

Pros:

1. Looks well made (manufacturing quality is great!)

2. affordable price for what it is worth

3. Arrived on time as promised and well packed

4. Tachymeter! great addition..

Cons:

1. Can't clearly read the hands

2. Date is too small to read

3. The three smaller chronograph dials are too reflective and so I can't see anything in normal light. May be under outside sunlight it may be readable, but within the house, either under artificial or natural light, I can't clearly see anything in this watch because the surfaces are very reflective and there is no color difference between the hands and the background.

4. Night time the hands don't glow at all. I expect this from every watch (should be able to see the time even in darkness), and this one doesn't glow.

I can't use this as a watch first (before using it as chronograph or tachymeter or whatever...)

I have bought Invicta watches in the past and I am very impressed with their quality and price, but I will not buy this particular one.

I purchased this watch a few weeks ago. It caught my eye while I was looking at the 'Invicta' watches (I was doing some Christmas shoping and watches are on my giving list) Being the watch whore that I am I could not resist this one (6220).

The look of it is very 'Understated'. It is 'Plain and simple'. 'Elegant' These are the things others have said after examining this watch while I was wearing it. followed by 'what store did you buy it from?' And the look of shock when I tell them the price I paid.

I love the watch. I have receved quite a number of compliments over it, And the price was to die for.

Mind you, I have only owned it for a few weeks, I may be singing a different tune in a few months.(Yah...Right)

This is a very nice watch...specially for the price. The watch is big, and has a nice weight to it, but that is my favorite this about it. The braclet is very nice and comfortable. While the date is rather small, you can clearly see the date. Although the dail and the rest of the watch seem to blend, you can see the numbers because they are finished in a nice polished steel that will contras the brushed dail.

The back of the watch reads "Swiss Parts Chronograph." Looks to be made with Swiss parts, but maybe assembled elsewhere. The SWISS MADE lettering is not on the bottom of the dail.

Overall, I am pleased with this watch. This is my first Invicta, but certainly not my last.

As an avid collector of Invicta watches, I was more than pleased when I received this watch. It is much more beautiful than the photo suggested. It's an impressive watch that looks much more expensive than the extremely reasonable price at Amazon. It's so good-looking that it's hard not to look at it while you're wearing it.'

Blindmark's cutout tool is so ingenious you won't want to live without it. It's simple: insert (or snap in) the magnet in your electrical box, set your wallboard in place, literally toss the cover magnet at the wall and it positions itself right over the other magnet, and voila!, outline around the outer magnet, and then cut out around the box. Done! No need for measuring, estimating, or any of those steps. And it's accurate every single time. It even does double and quad outlet boxes, too. Delivery is prompt. This is well worth it. Bluetooth Speakers - wireless, bluetooth speakers

Given this is the first review, I will be thorough.

I've owned the Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker for two months (paid $78.47). I'm very pleased. The sound quality is excellent for this type of speaker. The volume is loud enough to completely fill a room or a small outdoor area (e.g., patio). I've enjoyed it on the beach and found quality does not suffer much at high volumes.

Like with any small speaker, if you crank it to max volume, there is some distortion on bass-heavy songs. But the distortion is slight, and the bass sounds great if you have the volume appropriately set for the type of audio you are streaming.

On that note, there is no remote. The only way to control the volume is the `volume up' and `volume down' buttons on the front of the speaker or directly from streaming device ONLY IF it allows it. That is, my iPhone (3G - iOS 3.1.3) CANNOT change the speaker's volume while streaming, but my laptop can. In my use, I have not needed a remote. Usually I directly set the speaker's volume for the environment (e.g., bathroom, patio) and forget it. No remote also means you must control the streaming media from your device. There are no media control buttons on the speaker.

There is an auxiliary input on the back of the speaker, if you want to hook up a non-bluetooth device, or maybe just to save battery by not using Bluetooth.

Pairing with Bluetooth-capable devices (in my case, iPhone 3G and HP laptop) is simple and quick.

Battery life (four AA) is excellent. It is so long I cannot even put an estimate in terms of hours. It also came with an AC adapter, but I have never used it. The battery compartment is underneath the speaker.

The speaker is fairly small and very light. I actually carry it from room-to-room to enjoy while I am doing chores.

My only concern with the speaker is the build quality. The plastic casing is sturdy, but the front face of the speaker (surrounding the name plate and volume controls) is made of cloth. The cloth is spongy, but I am worried that it will inevitably tear with my heavy use of the speaker. There is no travel case included with the speaker.

Looking for a portable Bluetooth wireless speaker, I also considered the Logitech Z515 ($90, smaller and cloth-free). I've never used that Logitech speaker, but I ultimately chose the Creative D100 based on superior reviews for sound quality and bass quality. Look into both. There are good reviews for them and a comparison on CNET, if you want more information.

On the front of the speaker:

Volume up button

Volume down button

Bluetooth connect button

On the back of the speaker:

Power (on/off) switch

Aux input

5V AC adapter input

Underneath the speaker:

Battery compartment (four AA) Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Black)

I was looking for speakers that provided acceptable music reproduction, that were portable and easy to use, and could connect via wireless Bluetooth to a mobile phone (Motorola Droid) and iPad. I was also looking for something I could give as a gift to someone who would appreciate the same features but who does not have as much patience as I do for making these things work. The Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is perfect for our needs. As one reviewer mentioned, the Creative D100 is light-weight and simple to unplug and move from room to room. It has a battery option too, but I haven't used it with batteries yet.

The one-time Bluetooth pairing setup is simple. All you need to know before you begin is how to instruct your music device (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) to scan for and 'pair' with other Bluetooth devices. The rest is covered in the Creative D100 instructions. Power up the Creative D100 (turn on the power switch on the back side), make the D100 'discoverable' (press and hold the Bluetooth 'pairing' button on the front side), turn on the Bluetooth feature on your music device and begin scanning for other Bluetooth devices, and presto, it will pair and connect to the Creative D100. For those who would be using the music player on their phone and are concerned about taking calls while listening to music, I discovered that when using my Motorola Droid (Android OS v2.2), the music will connect via 'media audio' to the Creative D100 while 'phone audio' maps separately to my Plantronics Voyager Pro headset. Cool :)

Don't expect this speaker system to make the walls, roof, and windows shake, although at 3/4 volume the sound fills my 20' x 20' living room area very nicely with Christmas jazz at a pleasant, undistorted level. It's perfect in the master bedroom and in my home office too. But if you're looking for bass that you can feel in your gut, that's not what the Creative D100 is built to do. You may want to experiment with speaker placement as I did. I found that the music was enhanced by moving the speaker from an open space on a table to a shelf in an entertainment center where it was partially enclosed. I'm not a sound engineer, but my guess is that the shelf placement that sort of surrounds the unit assists the functionality of the rear speaker port on the Creative D100, helping to capture and direct the sound towards the listener. I also tested the Bluetooth range by placing the speaker in the living room and moving my phone (and iPad) to a bedroom down the hall, probably 25-30 feet away from the speaker. I was impressed that there was absolutely no device-to-speaker signal loss all evening regardless of which music device was connected. I'm very pleased. I got a black one for myself, and a pink one to give as a Christmas gift.

I had the D100 for two weeks of light use before it went bad. It paired easily with an iPod Touch 4G and a Kin TWOm phone and played music well with decent quality and volume controlled from the iPod/phone. Portability was useful too, but it mostly stayed on a shelf. Battery life with four rechargeable AAs was excellent.

Then the sound went bad. It was distorted and raspy and had exaggerated stereo separation. This persisted on battery/wall power and with Bluetooth and wired connections. Creative Labs customer support was no help. I am returning it for a replacement and paying for shipping. If I had bought it from Amazon they would have covered the shipping, but the refund/replace period is shorter than the other big national online electronics seller. - Bluetooth - Speakers - Wireless - Bluetooth Speakers'

46 Inch - samsung, 46 inch

Great picture with vivid colors, easy to use remote, menu options are easy to follow. We were not going to upgrade to an HDTV until we watched a couple of programs on a friends Samsung 46-inch LCD TV. No comparison to our old regular TV, the detail and color are amazing. Samsung LN46D630 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

I bought this a few weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing!! Its actually a little disturbing how realistic the picture quality is. I have no complaints about this TV. You can't beat the price for an LCD TV. The auto motion technology makes everything so life like. And even if you have just a basic DVD player this TV makes the DVD's look great!!

Got this TV as a replacement for my 3-year-old VIZIO 46" (neither one of them purchased on amazon, just for the record) and very disappointed with colors. They are nothing close to being realistic. I played with settings 2 days now and still cant get it right. If realistic colors is what you're looking for, don't purchase this one... - 46 Inch - Samsung'

After two years of suffering at the gym, I got nothing out of it but aches and pains. But with this bike, you can just sit and watch TV and work up a heavy sweat. I was a bit concerned when I ordered it that it would be too easy and not be a real workout, but it absolutely is. Your back stays comfortable, there's no stress on your joints, but your muscles get as much of a workout as they need. You can get on and off it so easily that I will weave little mini workouts right into my day. I wish I got it sooner. Exerpeutic 300SR Foldable Recumbent Bike

Decent machine. The pulse reading is a joke, but I mostly use the timer. Arrived with the wheel cover misaligned and couldn't be repaired. Again I got it not for very heavy use so I hand adjusted it and fixed it with duct tape!! Would have sent it back but it's the last piece you assemble and I would have had to disassemble everything else and try to repack it. Again for light use it's OK but be sure you inspect everything else before you start assembly.

I've spent several thousand dollars over the past 25 years purchasing various types of and looking for the perfect exercise machine for me. This is IT! Relatively easy to put together (it took me approximately 1.5 hours) though the instructions aren't as good as they could be (but then again what instructions are?). Just make sure that you follow them in order they are written. If you don't have much strength in your arms or hands then I suggest you get some help as the bolts and screws need to be very tight and I lifted and propped it up on my knees and sofa to ease putting it all together. As for comfort - Oh My! I detest exercising but this makes it enjoyable. I've placed it where I can see the TV and just start pedaling away. The first two nights I pedaled for 25 minutes without wishing time would speed up so I could get what used to be exercise ordeal over with. The back rest gives excellent back support, the lower pedals are easy on the knees, and the machine is designed to get on and off without any effort. I'm so glad I spent the money. I love this machine! - Amazon Kindle Fire - Android - Exercise Bike - Ebook Reader'

Wardrobe Closet - mobile closet, storage

This item started out good. I made sure I checked how much weight it could handle before I bought it. I weighed my clothes and was well under the limit.

It held well until I had to move it. It has a very weak base, and yes I made sure everything was tight. Because of the top-heavy nature of this wardrobe you need to move it very carefully, and from the bottom and top at the same time. The one time I didn't do this the whole thing came apart, and the plastic pieces all bent and were permanently damaged.

Not only that but the bottom piece is made out of some kind of thin material, almost like tissue paper. It got caught on a hanger and ripped without even resisting.

A simple fix for this wardrobe would be metal reinforcement. If at least the base was made out of metal it might be just right. I'd be willing to pay a few dollars more for that.

There are some pros though. The zipper works pretty well and it is nice to be able to see inside the wardrobe.

You might try not installing the casters if you don't need to ever move it, so that the wardrobe is more stable. Super Clear Vinyl Wardrobe Hanger with Casters Home Rack Rolling Storage Organizational Home - Storage - Mobile Closet'

Residential - reference, interior design

History of Interior Design is great. I study interior design and, without John Pile's books, this wide-ranging subject would have been far more difficult. Studying the subject "history of interior design" would have been such a struggle for me without having this book at my side. I just couldn't find all I needed on the internet. Apart from the high quality paper and excellent images, John Pile has a writing style that gets his point across very clearly. That makes for rapid reading and faster absorption of information. A History of Interior Design

WOW! beautifully organized and articulated. thoughtful and well-rounded discussion of the variation and evolution of interior design. it was purchased to use as a course resource (on 20th century American consumer culture), but am now tempted to buy my OWN copy.

The third updated edition of A HISTORY OF INTERIOR DESIGN comes packed with the latest examples throughout and offers a synthesis of some 6,000 years of domestic and public interiors. Topics range from furniture and decoration to cave dwellings and temples, cathedrals and palaces, and provide a blend of architectural survey and political and social analysis to consider the extent of how interior style evolves. An accompanying CD-ROM with over 100 illustrations provides a timeline of this history. Perfect for college-level collections strong in interior design history.

If you're bored with historical overviews of a discipline, you're in for a surprise. Pile brings interior design to life with vibrant examples, wonderful background detail, and the kind of information that will help you understand this arena with much more depth.

I really do enjoy the book except that on some important topics in the class I am taking with this book there is little information. Nonetheless on the topics it greatly expands upon the book shows impressive and accurate knowledge. The pictures also aid in examples and are for the msot part the best picture examples that any book could offer.

It's a very interesting book, it offers a vew over design from ancient times to ower days. We can follow the developement of design over time. The book is recomended especialy for professional designers.

It was a very good purchase. If you're looking for a book that covers interior design from as Early as Egypt to as last at modern times that's organized into easy to understand sections then you've come to the right place. This book combines the perfect amount of Text with Pictures and gives you an acute understanding of each era. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I received my brand new book in perfect condition just days after placing order! First book out of 7 to come in the mail. I would definitely recommend buying this book if needed...speedy service and in mint condition-couldn't ask for more.

A Text book on Interior design History deliverd at my door in an excellent condition for a second hand textbook. I got it at a very great deal. I am highly recommend this site for a second hand textbook. You can save a big buck!.
