Compatible And Affordable - cheap ink cartridges, generic hp ink cartridges

Great company to buy from! I had my apprehensions when buying such inexpensive ink cartridges (the price for all six, plus shipping was less than the cost of ONE cartridge from the HP store) but was pleasantly surprised by the product I recieved. They arrived within a few days, which further surprised me. They even included a note thanking me for my business. Im not sure how they made any money, but I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to order from this seller. I will definately buy from them again. Set Of 6 Black & Color HP 02 Remanufactured Ink Cartridges

Was hesitant about buying these as they are refilled but they are just like new. No leaks, lots of ink (seemingly) and my printer works with them just like the HP cartridges. I've book marked the seller and will def. buy these again. No more $42 packages of tiny HP ink for me!

The cartridges are clear which allows one to see the liquid contents. Not like the opaque original cartridges.

The key way which controls which color can be inserted where it is empty is round. This allows each cartridge, no matter the color, to be inserted in any position. For example, yellow could be inserted in the blue color position. The originals have key ways that are unique for each individual color cartridge.

One color that I used seems to work without problem although the machine display shows what appears to be an exclamation (!) by this color. No other colors show this exclamation.

The price is right.

So far...so good; working very nicely. Impressed by the supplier: I thought I had an issue with a couple of cartridges so I contacted them. They replied immediately and put my mind at ease. That's service!

Hopefully the product is fully compatible with the printer and will not damage it. What a buy!

Adt

I ordered these and they arrived much faster than expected, but when I tried them my printer rejected one, saying "missing or damaged." I contacted the company and within an hour they responded to tell me there was a new cartridge already shipped to me to replace it.

They work as well as my other cartridges did, I spent significantly less, and to be honest I don't want to give another penny to HP after my printer stopped working because my ink "expired." - Cheap Ink Cartridges - Generic Hp Ink Cartridges'

High Speed - pro duo, 16 gb

Hard to find a Sony Memory HG Duo MS-HX16A Stick in the US. I saw it for sale online in Europe and Asia but in the US they're still selling the 16G version (I was googling and accidentally stumbled upon Sony's Latavia version and they had so many more selections that the US website.) 16A is up to 30MB/s transfer speed while the 16G is at 20MB/s.

So I'm glad I finally got one for my new Sony Cybershot WX5. Sony 16 GB PRO-HG Duo HX Memory Stick MSHX16A (Black)

I have read about numerous fake memory stick pro duos on the market, so I was initially concerned about ordering one for myself. However, I needed a memory card for my new PSP, and seeing a few positive reviews for this card, I decided to take a chance with this one.

I am happy to say that this memory card is genuine and reads "MagicGate Supported" on my PSP, so I should be in good shape for years to come!

This memory card works just fine. As usual, every time we buy a new camera, a different battery and memory card becomes an additional item to purchase if you want backup.

This is not what I consider competition but rather lack of sensible standardization. To some extent I realize this might stifle innovation. Some day we hope to have a universal memory card and battery world.

I have Sony SLT A55V the 16 gig allows single shots followed by 10 ripid fire then on to movie recording without any delay. It also downloads to computor as fast as the program you are using allows. I have am happy with the 2-16 gig. 32 gig would be too much for my uses.

I use this memory stick with my sony alpha 550 and works excellent. Very fast and reliable. Memory stick continue working fast after 2000+ pics. Excellent shipping by the seller. Original Sony product.

Bought this back on Feb 15, 2011 here on Amazon and have had it in my Sony DSC-HX20 camera and took it on a 7 days cruise in the Southern Caribbean, and have had not problems at all. Fast, and works flawlessly. Soon will be upgrading camera to the Sony dsc-HX9v when it becomes available again.

If you need a fast and true Memory Stick Pro-HG DUO card that is up to 30 MB/s get this! Tests out good and fast also.

Works! Awesome price. I don't really see the difference in speed compared to a class 10 SD card. I even used an older MS Pro Duo to capture video and 10fps on my a55 and it still worked the same as this. But it's always good to be prepared...especially for this price. - Memory Card - Pro Duo - Sony - 16 Gb'

D-link Wireless Router - d-link, d-link wireless router

Reviews. from people like me don't really help you consumers much, as I am a tech freak, so I come on here, already knowing what I want to buy, all I will say is that, if you are looking for a wireless router that has great strength over a moderate distance, then the D-Link N150 is for you. It works for just browsing, and gaming alike. I have yet to lose a connection with the massive use I have going on with it.

I have 9 computers, 1 Playstation 3, 2 Xbox 360's and 1 Nintendo Wii, running off of this one wireless router, and even with 80 percent of those up at one time, I have never been dropped, and have seen full connectivity each time, with perfect latency in between. No lag, Nor overlay.

I live him an apartment, with 3 people. D-Link DIR-601 Wireless N 150 Home Router

I have used many bargain & a few name brands of wireless equipment over the years. I bought this D-Link because it is almost as inexpensive as the bargain brands, some of which worked, some of which didn't & all of which lacked helpful software and instructions. I'm using 2 of these DIR-601's a Wireless Access Points. No interference with each other (BTW, 2.4 GHz portable phones interfere with all wireless network devices, so we switched to Panasonic DECT 6.0 phones). There are simple instructions in the PDF manual, which is quite good overall, for hooking them into a router & using them as WAPs. They connect easily to our laptops and iPad -- just choose your network and type in your password (WPA2 encryption is best) the first time -- no software drivers required. We run both G and N laptops. Range seems excellent. Setup software is easy to use. I like this D-Link so much I bought my son one. He uses it as a wireless router at his apartment and it works fine for him too.

Unfortunately, this router suffers from intermittent lapses in broadcast. I have not had a problem with the hard wired desktop attached to it but the wireless cuts out when using my laptop and Roku player. Both are stationary and all are in the same room as the router. Online and phone support were great but could not fix the problem. Went with a N300 Belkin for ten dollars more and have had no issues. You get what you pay for sometimes.

I was just moving out of my DSL to Cable to get better bandwidth, I was looking for a new wireless router and found DLink DIR-601 with mostly positive reviews and decided to go with it. Used the CD came with the box and the setup was complete within 10 minutes and I was able to move away from my old linksys router to this one. I have 3 laptops, 1 desktop, 1 iMac, 2 iPhones, 1 squeezebox, 1 security camera, 1 Google TV (Revue), Dish Receiver and Vonage phone all going through this router without any trouble. The signal is good within my house which is 4 bedroom and 1800 sq.ft. Its been more than 2 weeks now and (touch wood) so far no issues or dropped connections.

The user interface was much better than linksys or my other router Airlink. Did not try the DDNS. For under 20 dollars, this was the best 802.11n router.

I never write reviews, but was so impressed by the bang for your buck with this little router, and its ease of set-up, that I decided I would for this product. First off, I'm a mac user, so I was totally prepared for this to be a nightmare for me to set up on my parents' PC. Seriously, I don't know the first thing about PCs, but thought I'd give it a try since I needed a wireless network so I could use my ipad when visiting, and the router was so cheap. I was concerned when I saw the box and it said perfect for the small apartment, as my folks have a large house, but for the price, and since I'd only be using it when visiting, I figured at least there would be a few rooms I could connect. Well, I popped the disc in and followed the easy step-by-step directions, and not only were we wireless in less than 5-10 minutes, but we also had coverage all over the house. Very pleased, and so will my parents be when we start chatting via face time!

I am a Mac user and could not use the disk that came with the wireless router (minus 1 star). Got it up and running in about 15 min. Did look over the PDF file on the disk. Has been running for 60 minutes without any problems. However, the Wireless Network is WPA, not WPA2. It also has WEP. Overall, for the price, it seems to be a good wireless router and it replaces my Belkin router. Virtual servers are available and will set up next. If I have any problems, I will write an update.

I gave the D-Link DIR-601 router a 4-star rating based the three most important attributes: Price, ease of setup and performance. It was only $20 at the time I purchased it, which seems less than the cost of the materials to make it(!). Since this was my first experience with a router in my home, I did a fair amount of research and found a lot of not-so-good reviews on many more-to-MUCH-more-expensive routers. The problem areas were invariably poor range and difficult installation. The reviews on the DIR-601 were much better than most, which, combined with price, is why I chose it.

I can confirm that the reviews are accurate. Installation was extremely easy; the "wizard" worked perfectly on an XP computer. I do have some minor range issues, but fewer than those reported by some users of much more expensive routers. The router is in my home office in the BASEMENT of the house. The basement walls are 8" poured concrete and the router happens to be next to the north wall. If I take my Toshiba Win 7 laptop to any part of the house OUTSIDE the planes of the basement walls (the porch and the breakfast-room-extension off the kitchen), the signal strength can drop to as little as 2 out of 5 bars, and download speed can drop from 18-20Mbps to just under 4Mbps. But I'm pretty sure that NO router -- at any price -- would do significantly better if positioned in the same place. Everywhere INSIDE the planes of the basement walls -- even the bedrooms 2-stories up and farthest from the router -- I typically get 4-5 bars. There are times when it falls to 3 bars in one bedroom, but it's not consistently at that level, so the drop-off could be due to transient interference from other electronics (e.g., our three cordless phones or routers in homes near us). I'm virtually certain that I could improve the signal strength in the areas where it's low by positioning the router close to the basement ceiling and away from the walls. But doing that requires (a) a couple of very long Ethernet cables (impractical) or (b) a couple of power line Ethernet adapters (expensive) or (c) getting a repeater (also expensive).

I had one issue that I called D-Link's tech support about. Shields Up (Gibson Research's program that tests the status of the first 1056 ports on your computer) has always shown my desktop ports to be 100% "stealth" -- invisible to the Internet. After installing the router, it showed ports 0 and 1 as only "closed", not "stealth". I contacted D-Link support via e-mail and received a reply within a day asking me to call a support phone #, which I did. The call was answered immediately (no hold time), the technician (South Africa) was knowledgeable and resolved the issue during the call. Turns out Shields Up is measuring the status of the router, not my PC. This tech support experience was completely opposite to what I had been told about D-Link's support -- that it was slow and not very good. If I were rating their tech support, I'd give it 5 stars.

If you're new to routers, be aware that this is NOT an N-300 router; it's an N-150 router. That means (my understanding) that the maximum bandwidth it can deliver is 150Mbps. Since no one in the house plays complex games or streams movies from the Internet, and there are currently only 2 computers using the cable connection, a 300Mbps router would be overkill for us. But if you have multiple (4-5) computers playing Internet games simultaneously, you should probably get an N-300 router. - D-link Wireless Router - Wireless N - D-link - Router'

Handheld Gps - watches, handheld gps

Just finished 1st round with my new G3. It took about 5 minutes for it to get a GPS signal the first time, but performed like a champ once it did. The scorecard feature is great and really easy to use. I stood on the red, 100 yard marker in the middle of the fairway on 3 holes and each time it read from 99 to 101. 1% margin of error is better than I experienced with my old skycaddie. The touch screen was calibrated perfectly. I had no trouble with the cursor. Using rechargeable duracells, it shows about 60% power remaining after 18 holes. I'll carry an extra set of batteries just in case. This is replacing a skycaddie sg2.5 that had the screen go out after about 6 months. I won't miss paying for their yearly subscription either. As long as your favorite courses are available, I'd highly recommend! Garmin Approach S1 Waterproof Golf GPS Watch

Three holes into my first round with the new watch (a Christmas present to myself), it dawned on me that this is cooler than I had imagined. I predict two years from now, this is the new rangefinder technology.

For the past several years, I have been a big proponent of the laser rangefinder, arguing with my gps rangefinder friends that the laser is more accurate to the pin. After my round today, I am not sure I will ever pull my laser out again. The convenience is unbelievable. I just look down at my wrist, and I have my distance to the front middle and back. I look in the cart at the pin sheet, and subtract or add for a perfect distance. No reaching in the glove box of the cart or fumbling around for a device.

Even cooler, and more used than I anticipated, is the function that lets me measure the distance of my shot. You just hold a button and select "measure my shot" then drive or walk to the ball, and it gives the distance. I started doing it with all my shots just to get a feel for how long I was hitting the ball with each club. Pretty cool.

Less cool, but neat -- you can also measure with an odometer how far you actually walk on the course. And other things, like how far away your mother in law's house is on Christmas day, important things like that.

The watch is very comfortable and readable with large, clean numbers. I am going to start wearing it as my regular watch.

The only con that I can tell is that there are no distances to hazards, etc. I suspect that will be in the next generation.

Only one round in, but I can tell this is going to be a keeper.

Update:

After about 4 months of pretty heavy usage, there are my thoughts.

I still think it is a great product, but I use my laser in conjunction to get precise yardage. I find myself looking at the watch as I pull up to the ball for club selection, grab the right club, then shoot it with the laser to confirm and get the exact distance to the pin. The distances were not perfect when I first used it. A few holes were off by as much as 10 yards. I wrote to Garmin about my course, and my guess is that they remapped the course using google earth or something like it. The distances are much better with the latest update. On the Garmin web page, look around, there is a link to send them comments about yardages on a particular course.

The battery charger is kind of a pain. It clips onto the watch, and with mine you have to jigger it to get it to start charging. It is not that I am not getting the leads in the right place -- that is easy to see. You have to wiggle it to get the charging bars to start. The charger definitely needs improvement, or I got a bad charger.

Also, the battery charge life is not great. I played 36 holes the other day, and it did not finish the day. I don't often play 36 so it is not a big deal, but be aware that it is really just a one round charge.

But I still love it. It is comfortable to wear, very easy to read, and fun to show off to other players. I would still buy it given what I know now.

I purchased the Garmin G3 for only two reasons. The price and lack of subscription. I got more than I paid for. The features of the G3 definitely give the average golfer the best bang for his (or her) buck. I read many reviews on many different GPS systems. Initially, the GPS that I was leaning toward most is the SkyCaddie SGX, but when I considered the price and subscription cost of the SGX the Garmin became that much more attractive. I learned my lesson trying to go from an automotive Garmin GPS to another brand. Just wasn't the same. Not only did I read the reviews, but I went into the local golf stores to get a good idea of the user ability and to compare the reviews I ahd read of both the SGX and the G3.

Many of the negative reviews for the Garmin focus on the screen and the glare. While the system can "maybe" have a little glare at times, it is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be based upon the reviews I read. I have no problem reading the screen and knowing the location of hazards. For people who are vision impaired or would normally have to wear reading glasses to see particular colors or fonts, this may make reading the screen a little more difficult.

I greatly enjoy being able to navigate through the courses prior to arriving at the course. To some extent I already know which clubs I plan to use for each hole. It doesn't always work out that way, but arriving at the course knowing you'll tee the first hole for a 4 hybrid (my 190 yard club) because of the hazard at 205 yards builds a little starter confidence.

Inputting in the scores and players are also relatively easy. I particularly like moving the pin around on the green to make my club selection a little more accurate. I often used the markers on the course to verify the accuracy of the GPS, and it is almost always right on target. I've only been off by a yard once or twice. While the GPS does use AA batteries, it easily lasts at least one round. This was a problem for me given that I have other electronics that use AA batteries. Therefore, I already have quite a few rechargeables. I usually put two extra in my bag for safe keeping, but I have only had to change the batteries once while on the course, but that was during a second round and after playing with the system while off the course. Another good feature that I like is that while I browse course on the system I can get the address and phone number right off the screen and call to set up a tee time. My thought process is typically, "this traffic sucks. I wonder if there are any course nearby where I can grab 9 or more holes in the next few hours. I know! I'll check the garmin GPS, browse for nearby course, check out the 1st few holes, determine if I like the course, call them up." I know I shouldn't be doing any of this while driving, but hey I love golf, and most of us who are golfers are strategic risk takers. There is always that hole on which we know we shouldn't pull out of driver, but we do it anyway, only to end up in the water, or searching through the bushes looking for a pro v1 ball, only to find a few other balls that aren't yours. All those other balls represent the people who shouldn't have pulled out the driver. I only wonder how many of them actually did the right thing and took that extra stroke.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Garmin G3. The score taking, accuracy, pin location, look, fell, durability, and did I mention the tough screen. The touch screen is perfect. I definitely think that I got my money's worth.

If I had to change any features, it would be the ability to input the clubs that I use for each hit and keep track of my club distances to get an accurate idea of which club I should be using and when to use it.

Most importantly, go out, buy it, enjoy it, and have fun. - Watches - Handheld Gps - Gps - Golf'

Unlock Cell Phone - unlock cell phone, tmobile

Here's what I think. So far I have seen negative reviews but I've had absolutely no problem. It takes getting used to and its great for loyal sidekick users. I for one, LOVE THIS!!! Okay, being a previous Sidekick user for 3 years helps. I find this has great features, a nice sleek design and is lightweight. Motorola Slide was a bit heavier than Samsung Sk 4G. Samsung version has more features. Two cameras, one on the back and one in the front. This is handy if you want to do communicate via webcam such as Skype. Granted this is still new, we have to wait and find the apps that allows this use of feature. But what's the hurry? Moving on. Android apps, gamings and such to while away the boredom. Granted, the battery life is iffy but then again, I've experienced this with Iphones, Itouch and such but its ANDROID! It takes up a lot of battery life, GET OVER IT! Recharging will be required. However I found that the battery drains a lot quicker for some reason and it took me a while to work out the kinks. I discovered that if you adjust the lighting mode helps. As well goes for Background data synch, receive data needs to be TURNED off! Its right under Account & Sync and uncheck that. That helps a lot. Keep it off unless you want to download apps it will ask you to turn it back on. Oh not to forget the screen is larger for easy viewing. I found that popping the screen open is little stiff since it's on a hinge but we can adapt to it. The keys are wider apart for easy typing.

This Sidekick 4G is awesome. No regrets. T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Android Phone, Pearl Magenta (T-Mobile)

I was looking to replace a MyTouch 3g with a modestly priced touch screen phone. That phone turned out to be the Sidekick 4G with its physical keyboard. And as for the Pros, that keyboard ended up being the only major plus. But other minor positives were a responsive touch screen, long battery life, and the Wi-Fi calling.

Here's the NEGATIVES: It's big, it's heavy, it feels slightly cheap, the USB/charging slot cover is annoying to open, the phone charger is extremely cheap, the camera is only 3g with no flash, poorly placed buttons, poor volume control, the Cloud Text feature is a joke, and the screen is virtually unreadable in sunlight.

Let me explain. This heavy and bulky phone will not fit into any cell phone holder your midsized car has to offer. Plus, it leans quite far out of the cup holder. The plastic case and the big buttons give it a cheaper feel. When going to charge the phone, if you don't have a decent fingernail, you'll never get the USB cover open. The charger is so cheap you'd think it was a replacement knock-off. The camera takes decent pics, but using it is a complete pain. First, the physical camera button is placed opposite the power button. So when you go to take a photo, you accidently turn off the phone. And because of the phone's size, you need to use both hands and your other hand tends to get into the camera shot. The loud speaker can be great when needed, but it should be responsive. I've had the volume one notch above vibrate and the email notification was still audible 10 feet away. The touted Cloud Texting was a major selling point for me so I tried it via my iPad 2 - pitiful. The website layout and text functionality was poor. I'd be embarrassed to advertise it. And lastly, I was floored when I walked outside and literally had to find shade in order to vaguely see the icons on the screen.

I've had the phone for 2 days and it's going right back.

I ordered a cell phone from Amazon Wireless. Because I have a PO BOX, i didn't get 2 day shipping, but it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten it. The tracking information says it was delivered by FedEx to my town on May 2, 2011 and it still states that my phone is in transit. If you need your phone in a timely manner, I suggest you order it straight from AT&T, pay the price and wait for the rebate to come. Now I can't make any changes to my account until I get the phone. Yikes, I made a mistake. - Unlock Cell Phone - Cell Phone - Tmobile - T-mobile Sidekick'

Mens Fragrance - eau de toilette, mens cologne

I found this fragrance a few years ago when a saleswoman at a Perfume Store suggested it to me. All In One - all in one, printer

I have used HP inkjet printers for many years and always found them to be of high quality and reliable. This is not the case with this printer. This printer constantly loses connectivity with my computer (it is connected with a USB cable). After approximately 48 hours of being plugged in the printer on/off button ceases to function. The only way to print is to uninstall the printer and then reinstall the printer after power cycling the printer. My first call to technical support was answered by someone in the Philippines who eventually forwarded me to a knowledgeable supervisor and that is how I learned about reinstalling the printer to make it work. My second call two weeks later was answered in India where the tech person was difficult to understand and obviously was not knowledgeable about the product. I spent quite some time waiting while she tried to find simple answers in her resource materials. Her supervisor was also not helpful other than elevating this issue to HP in the United States which was not open at the time. I have not yet received a return call from US Tech and R&D support, but my experience has been poor enough already that I would recommend against purchasing this product. I regret that I purchased it.

Addendum to above review: HP elevated support has issued a gift card to me which I was able to use to purchase a Photosmart Plus B210a printer directly from them. I have been assured that this printer will not have any of the issues that I have experienced. I am hopeful and impressed that they have taken my issue seriously and have resolved it with a superior printer. HP Photosmart D110A Wireless e-All-in-One Printer (CN731A#B1H)

We finally bit the bullet and got a new printer - the old hp deskjet 3220 just would not die, so we donated it to a school. We switched because we wanted better photo printing and speed, and the scanner was USB 1.1 only.

I'm a Mac person, but more and more HP products are truly impressive. The laptop I most recently set up was the simplest ever. This unit was more of that simplicity. Just unpacking it was comparable to the Apple experience. One booklet, and the packaging was two pieces of foam and a tote bag instead of plastic wrapping, cords and ink were in a zippered reusable pouch. Both were of the same material used for reusable grocery bags. Minimal waste. Suggest they move from styro to compressed paper like others.

Setup was done without so much as a USB cable. All was done by loading the software, first into the Mac, then later into the HP. Power up the printer, tell it to find your WiFi router and it appears as a Bonjour (zeroconf) item. No issues with Mac or Win setup. Alignment is done by printing and then scanning an alignment page. No more squinting to discern the most-lined-up raster.

Printing is darn good on plain paper and knockout on photo paper. A 4x6 guide on the tray is convenient. There is an extended paper support that I don't even see using.

Scanning was the big question. I've used Ed Hamrick's VueScan for years, it's a wonderful tool. It warned that I'd need to install HP drivers in order to use VueScan, which would contribute to bloat. Since we sent off the USB cables with the printer and scanner, VueScan didn't see the cable-less WiFi scanner when it booted. I figured we were stuck. Well, we weren't - as there is a web interface to the scanner that can scan jpg or PDF at up to 600 dpi from a browser.

*** Correction - VueScan now sees the printer and scans as always. ***

Printing and scanning over WiFI is wonderful, much improved over similar devices from just a few years ago.

ePrint gives you an email address that lets you print common document formats via email attachments.

The web interface lets you double check remote print jobs.

Amazing for $99 retail, $79 at HP, $55 here. Available XL ink also saves.

It was very easy to get the printer set-up on the wireless network by following the prompts on the LCD screen. It really walks you through the process very well. The applications that can be accessed through the printer itself are pretty cool. These include Disney coloring pages, coupons, etc. Printing from my camera's memory card was intuitive.

The next step was to install the software on my computers. This was also easy, although I did have an issue in which the printer picked up an IP address that the router didn't like. This was solved by searching the HP website to determine how to assign a static IP that was within the DHCP range. Thankfully the instructions were clear and very easy, because I really don't have much networking experience.

After everything was set-up, I printed off a few pictures from my PC. There is not a multi-page paper feeder and the speed may not be enough for some. However, for a household like mine, where we will only have occasional printing needs, I think it's more then sufficient. Even though I haven't yet had an opportunity to use photo quality paper, I think the quality of the print, even on multi-purpose paper, was very good.

I then had an opportunity to use the included picture printing software. My daughter and I had quite a bit of fun setting up different borders, adding text, and choosing different decorations to add to the pictures. This was pretty darn cool. I am not sure if there is a limit and after I reach that limit it will start charging me, or if this will always be free, but for now, at least, it's free.

Finally, I had the need to actually scan something in. This was a very easy process, and once scanned in you are given the chance to edit the scan, flip it around, etc. This was my first time ever scanning something in, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought the process was very simple.

BTW, because it wasn't mentioned in any other reviews and I didn't realize it and almost bought wireless NIC cards: A desktop computer, connected by Ethernet to the same wireless router as the printer, is able to print to the wireless printer. The desktop PC's do not have to be wireless. - All In One - Wireless - Printer - Wireless Printer'

Grantwood Technology - ipod touch, itouch accessories

The original protective cover on my 3rd gen. iTouch was peeling after about the first day so I knew I needed another, & this product was exactly what I needed! it came with TWO screen protectors for $5, while others are much more expensive.

It was easy to apply, it only took me one try and it's just about perfect (i've never applied one before either, just take your time with it :). there were only two small bubbles and I was able to get them out anyway.

The screen protector is pretty decent against fingerprints and it's not opaque at all like the product image seems(which had me a little worried)

took 3 days to get here from the time I placed the order, with the cheapest shipping.

Don't spend more than you have to, this product is just what you need Grantwood Technology's 2-Pack Premium Screen Protector for iPod Touch 2nd and 3rd Generation (not latest), 8 GB/ 16 GB/ 32 GB/ 64 GB

This will be the third protector for my recently aquired iPod Touch and is by far the best. It was very easy to apply and since it was not too flimsy it was easy not to get bubbles underneath. I am very impressed and my iTouch looks as if it doesn't have a protector on it at all ! My previous two attempts were with far inferior products which resulted in lots of lumpy bumpy bubbles. I would say that this protector ranks with those found in the 20 dollar+ range. Grantwood Tech also impressed with their delivery advices etc.

Jan 2011 - It is now nearly a year since my original review. I use my iTouch every day..and the original protector is still on and is as good as new !

This stick on cover is fantastic. It is a relatively thick sheet of optically clear plastic. This makes putting it on easier than if it were thin (from a no-bubbles point of view). Make sure your ipod glass is completely clean, no dust, no other foreign particles. The tactile feel of the cover is just like feeling a piece of glass -- so smooth, you won't even notice it is there. It is very durable too -- I carry my ipod in my pocket together with my wallet, with the screen facing my leg (screen rubs the fabric pocket liner all day), and so far there are no scratches or dulling of the plastic sheet. This is an Excellent product at a great price!

Update as of 8/12/2010: I've had the same 1st cover on since purchasing a few months ago. As described above, I keep it in my pocket and so far there are no visible blemishes to it. No roughening or change to the clarity. Really nice material -- whatever this plastic is that used to make this.

Update on previous review: recently purchased more of the Grantwood screen protectors for my iPod Touch 3G. I absolutely won't use anything else! A lot of products are out there and I have tried many; no one else's product comes close in clarity, touch-sensitivity, and durability. Thanks again Grantwood!!!

For those of you who want just the facts: superior product, unbelievable value, awesome service.

For those of you who want more details: I have tried other iPod 3G screen protectors and found them all to be sub-par in comparison to the Grantwood product. The Grantwood screen protector is not nearly as flimsy and has a far-superior touch sensitivity (something I highly value in a touch-interface device!) all across the screen. The DLO product I currently have on my iPod has more of a matte finish and is "anti-glare", but I have found it to be less sensitive to touch and, because of the finish, actually shows fingerprints more clearly, contrary to what I thought might be the case. The Grantwood screen protector is much easier to clean with a slightly damp lint-free cloth and lasts much longer.

I am not a pro when it comes to installation. In fact, in my efforts at perfection I have found my first attempt is usually best left as is. To help those like myself who don't seem to have enough thumbs, Grantwood provided links to videos that demonstrate how best to install the screen protectors.

Thanks, Grantwood, for your great product and service, and watch for another order soon! =)

This review is based on the quality of the product, not Amazon's service was excellent as well. The cover's price is amazing and works as stated. I was confused at the instructions initially but the fault belongs to me there. I bought two just in case my first one was faulty and I believe everyone should because the price is affordable. The first time I applied the cover, the placing was awful and I have this mental OCD therefore I removed it and used another one. It was a waste to use another one but I can bare to look at my Ipod Touch now. Overall, I highly suggest this if you are looking for an affordable cover that will endure and protect your screen from any scratches.

As others have mentioned, it is a little tricky to get this on the iPod just right. It needs to be completely clean, and you have to work it on slowly to avoid bubbles.

Since these are so cheap and the shipping/handling is the biggest cost, you might as well buy a few at once. They don't last forever and will eventually start to peel back at the corners.

I've bought generic screen protectors before that you cut to fit your device and then you deal with trying to get the air bubbles out. It's a real pain. This is where this product trumps over those protectors!

Not only does this fit your iPod Touch perfectly, but THERE ARE NO AIR BUBBLES TO DEAL WITH!!!

Someone took a look at the iPod I had these screen protectors on and they didn't even realize one was on there!

For the price, this should be an instant purchase for anyone that owns an iPod Touch and if there were an option to give this higher than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat!

I got a new ipod touch 3rd gen for Christmas, and since my last one had a lot of scratches on the screen within like the first 2 weeks, I decided not to let that happen again. This is a cheap and terrific way to protect your ipod from scratches done by keys in your pocket - Ipod Accessories - Itouch Accessories - Screen Protector - Ipod Touch'

With Answering Device - corded cordless combo, cordless phone

I purchased these phones to replace one with a few less features but was very good quality. My older developed a problem in the answering machine part. I shopped around looking for phones that had "speaker" phone capabilities on all of the units, the corded base and two cordless extensions. The phones offered the features I wanted but aren't very good quality with respect to sound or operation. The cordless phones have to stay reasonably close to the base or the received signal fades in and out. I'm not talking about taking it outside, I mean in the next room and within sight of the base. The speaker phone sound quality is fairly good on the base unit but marginal on the cordless units. That might be because of the issue of not working well when a little distance away from the base. It does have lighted keypads on the cordless phones, a nice feature that isn't on the base. The base does have a display screen that illuminates when the handset is picked up. All in all, the phones work alright, I was just a bit disappointed in the sound and distance issues. I tried to save a few dollars purchasing phones with a lot of nice features and they do have several nice ones. I could have spent more money and bought better qality but that's true of any product on the market.

Would I recommend this phone? Yes, if you have a limited budget and want to be frugal, buy it. It works and works dependably and I suppose that's all that matters. I am spoiled because it isn't quite as good as the one it replaced. Uniden DECT1588-2 DECT 6.0 Corded/Cordless Digital Answering System with Dual Keypad and Two Cordless Handsets

All and all I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The price was right, easy to set up and use , and so far (I bought this phone about 6 months ago) no problems. I haven't experienced any distance problems like someone else mentioned. We take the handsets outside and pretty far from the base without any loss of sound quality.

The only gripe I have is that the handsets don't ring very loud. The corded phone rings loud. Other than that, I would recommend this phone.

We purchased this phone to replace our old Uniden. We wanted the DECT 6 technology for the clearer sound, and that was a big improvement over our old phone. We, also, wanted a built-in corded phone, but not for the advertised reason (Power-Outage capability), we wanted it because "I" could never fid a hand set when the phone rang, but with this phone I know there will always be one stuck to the base.

If you're looking for a useful tool with high tech features and reasonable quality and price, you'll be happy you've purchased this phone.

I have had this phone 1588-2 for several months. The corded base answering phone works well for my needs and can be wall mounted. The cordless units (Cannot be wall mounted) work well even on a different floor of the house or out in the yard. One of the things I really like is the ability to screen calls from the cordless units. The speaker phone works pretty well from the cordless units with fair to good sound quality. Looking to add another cordless unit or two to the system.

Our old answering machine finally bit the dust, so the hunt was on! Didn't want to spend a fortune, but we definitely wanted something just above the basic machine we'd had. Also, it was important to us to have a corded phone that would continue to function during a power outage. Lately we have experienced several significant power outages, and many people were caught without a working phone.

This one fit the bill, and the extra handsets have enabled us to place a phone everywhere that was handy for us.

Dislikes are few; I marked construction down one star only for the lightness of the receiver, which makes it feel a little cheap.

The only other nit-picky thing I could think of was the brightness of the red light on the handset base when the unit is in the base. I almost wish that feature was reversed, since the light is so distractingly bright when on, whenever the handset is in the base unit, which is most of the time. It would be better as an indicator that the handset was missing.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase so far. The Amazon price was much better than the local Best Buy, too!

Picked up this nice little unit for my wife's mom in Mexico. Liked the benefit of a corded base station for use in power outages (more prevalent there), though I found the best part about the corded base station is that you always know where you can find the phone to answer a call no matter where you hid you cordless sets.

Handsets feel solid and durable. Audio is pretty good. *It was an instant hit! Also, range seems to be good; they worked fine through concrete walls (didn't test long distances >300', but I don't expect that to be a problem) Caller ID came up after first ring and ringer activates very fast (usually 1 ring prior to the old corded set ringing once).

We like the intercom feature to communicate from any location among the base or handsets! Expandable. Price was good for the field. Answering machine. (menus are a bit comber-sum, misses some top-end features that you probably won't miss, but I doubt you'll use them after getting it setup)

Bottom line: Nice system, and Yes I would recommend this to a friend. - Corded Cordless Combo - Cordless Phone - Caller Id - With Answering Device'

16gb Sdhc Memory Card

I received this item as a gift since I love taking pictures and HD video. All of that can really eat up space quickly, so I was glad I got a SDHC card.

I've used many other amazon basic items like HDMI cables and other electrical cords, and they've all served me well, so I didnt worry about a amazon branded SDHC card. For all I know, they're probably made on the same assembly line as a big brand name card like SanDisk or PNY.

Write speeds, they're quick. My old camera used to make me wait 2-3 seconds after taking a photo, and waiting for it to write on my old old SanDisk 2GB SD card. Now after using this, instantly, I can shoot more photos and videos without needing to wait for it to write to the card.

Read speeds are pretty quick, all my pictures and videos showed up within seconds. My old Sandisk would make me sit there for a minute or two while it read each image and created preview icons for them in windows.

I highly recommend it to anyone who's into photography or just likes to shoot tons of videos/photos. I tend to copy everything and save it on my computer when the card starts to get full, but if you're the type of person who saves it all on SD cards for a long time, you might opt to get a 8 or 16GB card instead. AmazonBasics 16GB Class 4 SD Flash Memory Card

The card certainly has capacity to spare, even shooting RAW files. However, like many of you I enjoy taking photographs at sporting events and that is where the difference between a class 4 card and a class 6 card (which I have several of) shows up.

The slower writing speed on the class 4 card, and slower transfer speed when off-loading the images to my computer, is disappointing ~ enough so that I will sacrifice capacity for enhanced speed when making future purchases.'

Minidv Tape - sony, minidv

Sony tapes work well with the new HDV camcorders that record in high definition. Previously, I was able to use the cheaper TDK, Fuji, Maxell tapes with my old Sony DV camcorder without problems but these tapes gave dropouts while shooting in high definition. On the other hand, using the higher quality Sony or Panasonic tapes work just fine for HDV. These tapes work and are 1/4 the price of the specialized HDV tapes that Sony offers. The only benefit to spending more for the Sony HDV tapes are longevity. Sony DVC-60 PRR/5 Premium Minidv Videocassette (5-Pack)

Don't be fooled, "premium" means "average consumer grade" in non-Sony speak. But that being said, it's a perfectly fine tape for taping your kids at the local park or a ball game.

The main difference is that consumer tape isn't designed for archival storage, so you may experience more drop-outs or tape delaminating as it gets older.

Mini DV tapes are all pretty good. I know and have worked in the business for years to testify to this. The real difference with pro and am tapes is the mech. that the tape runs through. Pro tapes will take more rewinding, fast. pause. etc.

The best advise is I'd give to anyone is buy a good brand. i.e. Sony, Panasonic, JVC, TDK. Steer clear of the cheaper brands as they will deposit more 'metal oxide' waste on the head of your camera.

A good extra to buy is a cleaning tape. What these do is de mag the heads, and remove the oxides from the drum. A clear sign on required cleaning is when the pixels start showing on play back. An good tip is perhaps clean the head before an important recording just in case.

No problems whatsoever. HDV was made to work on regular DV tapes, so I really don't see the reason for buying those more expensive "HD-grade" DV tapes. I don't think the rated +3dB gain in signal-to-noise ratio of the more expensive tapes makes any difference if you're recording digital content. Perhaps higher quality tapes are needed if you record over and over on the same tape. Anyway, I'm happy with the results I've had so far.

I have been using these tapes for a while and have only received one bad one out of hundreds. We shoot a daily show called Noodle Scar and record on these tapes then use them for archival. Grat deal for the money!!! - Sony Minidv - Sony - Minidv - Tapes'

Portable Scanner - document scanner, scansnap

The ScanSnap S1300 rocks and this page doesn't do it justice.

BTW, the difference between the ScanSnap S300 and S1300 is simple.

S1300 works with PC and MAC. S300 only works with PC. Get the S1300.

It scans FAST and PDFs pop up on my PC immediately. It does OCR in the background while the PC is idle.

Great, great quality. My old Epson Perfection 1240 never scanned docs with such clarity.

One drawback...you can't use TWAIN with the ScanSnap series. So no "import from scanner" in Photoshop.

But this things will scan a JPG that can you later open in Photoshop. No worries.

As a designer, I'm not impacted since I rarely scan anything in color these days.

(It does scan in full color, btw...really nice quality).

I'll let the video show you real-world usage.

Personal stuff has been blurred. ;)

You can watch it at you of the tube

and search for the following kB7268TGEng. Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 Instant PDF Sheet-Fed Mobile Scanner (PA03603-B005)

I was thinking about the 1500M but then realized that the software was for Mac only and that making it work with a PC using the great software that is bundled would not be possible. Sure you can get the scanner to work but not all of ease of use features with profiles etc.

I like the Scan Snap software, it is easy to use. I did not use the manual to figure it out(beyond checking what needed to be installed).

You simply select active Profile for your scanning task and then it is a one-click affair.

Scan to a file

Scan to Evernote (I had to configure, very easy to-do)

Scan to email

Scan to Card-Iris

Scan to Word

Scan to Excel

etc.

Could this get any easier?

Page Per Minute:

8 supposedly but if you turn on the special PDF feature to make the document SEARCH-ABLE then the PPM goes down or at least the post-scan processing takes slightly longer.

Small size benefits:

* I like the ability to take it with me to a meeting where I know I will want to share notes

* small footprint on my desk (I like this)

* when you fold up the trays the 1300 is just a tiny little box

Small size issues:

* the paper tray cannot hold as many sheets as the larger models

* guide rails are small and papers can sometimes get fed in at an angle if your paper is curling up a little, I have to assume that with bigger guide rails that would help keep the paper straight

* if you have the space and you want to be able to do large batches of scans I have to assume the larger SCAN SNAPS would be a better choice (they can process more PPM too).

power from USB:

* the option to power form two USB ports is pretty nifty

* this feature is useful for people that travel and do some serious word warrior computing

Lastly, my use case (so that you can determine if my advice applies):

* I am a GTD user and scansnap is part of my process of processing my inbox (getting to zero).

* I scan a lot of stuff to evernote (magazine articles/notes/project related documents)

* I scan all my bills and tax related documents to an encrypted folder

* I scan business cards and use card iris to send to entourage

* My goal of FILING less stuff is a success thanks to the EASE of use of the Scan SNAP

* my goal of shredding old files after scanning is a success

I own other scanners, and they are PERFECT for scanning a few important documents for a task but not for BULK SCANNING jobs. WAY too many steps and too slow! I strongly recommend SCANSNAP scanners.

I've been looking for this scanner for 15 years. It's good enough. It could be better, but it's good enough. If it lasts for two years I'll happily buy it again at the same price.

The hardware is essentially perfect. It's a bit annoying that you need two USB cables if you want to avoid the generic (mediocre) power brick, but blame that on USB. We should all be using either old style firewire or never coming USB 3, but we're stuck with USB 2. It scans both sides of paper at once. Yes, DUPLEX.

Although it's primarily a document scanner, I've used it scan color prints. The results were not professional quality, but they were darned good and fast.

The documentation is excellent.

The software is mediocre. Some of the bundled OS X software is so old it's non-native on Intel machines, fortunately you can omit that. Unlike the higher end machines you don't get Adobe's superb PDF/OCR combination (yes, once Adobe was competent), you get a much less efficient product called ABBY FineReader. Even so, it does produce PDF images with searchable OCRd text indices.

Most importantly, OS X Spotlight WILL index the text associated with these PDF image files.

The mediocrity extends to the ScanSnap Manager UI and workflow. Clearly this was a low bid contract. Don't expect much in the way of upgrades or future products. The scans, however, can be sent to products like DevonThink Pro ($150) for processing.

The scanner uses proprietary drives. This is perhaps the most lethal problem. If they're not upgraded we can be sure that within 3 years they won't work on OS X. Fujitsu, notoriously, does not provide new versions of ScanSnap Manager without a hardware purchase.

There are other problems with the software, but so far it hasn't been unstable.

In summary, 2 star software, 5 star hardware, gives a 3 star review. Surprisingly, I still love the product. If Apple were ever to produce a scanner, it would be a lot like this, though with a better power adapter and infinitely better software. - Scanner - Document Scanner - Scansnap - Fujitsu'

Thickness Planer - planer accessories, folding table

These tables are not included with the DW735 planer. Don't let that lead you to believe that they are optional. I tried to run the planer without them, and I got significant snipe. Adding the tables improved the snipe quite a bit, and as I adjust the tables to be level with the bed of the planer, the snipe keeps decreasing. If you want to get the performance you paid for with the DW735, you need these tables. The tables should be purchased with the planer and mounted before the planer is bolted down to its final resting place. To mount the tables, the planer must be moved off of its platform just enough to get a few fingers and a wrench underneath the base. The instructions make a big deal about securing the planer during this operation, but I think their concerns are overstated. Only about 2" of the base needs to be accessible from underneath in order to mount the table, and this leaves the planer in a very stable position. Just be careful and use your own judgement. It's true that the outfeed table does not fold up. Let's set this in perspective. This is a sign of inattentive design. It's silly, it's embarassing to DeWalt, but it doesn't reduce the usefulness of the infeed and outfeed tables. Frankly, I don't understand why it's so important that the tables fold at all. Jointers have huge cast iron infeed and outfeed tables that don't fold, and the only complaint I have heard about them is that they are never large enough. It seems to me the only point of folding tables is to perpetuate the silly notion that this is a "portable benchtop planer". I don't consider any object weighing 90 pounds to be "portable". I wonder how much more it would have cost DeWalt to have provided a non-folding cast iron bed of equivalent size. Perhaps that's coming in their next version.Having tried the planer with and without, I am glad I bought the tables. I would recommend them to anyone with a DW735 planer. DEWALT DW7351 Folding Table for DW735 Planer

As has been noted by another reviewer, these table extensions for the DeWalt DW735 planer aren't really optional. The only good reason not to buy them is that you intend to build a full table for the planer. This isn't a bad idea, since it gives the woodworker the ability to set up some sled jigs for for planning bowed and twisted lumber. But if you intend to make even a pretense of having a portable planer these are required. Unless you like snipe.

Snipe, if you don't know, is the extra deep cutting that can occur at the ends of the board intil it finds (and keeps its level. Frankly, all portable (and many stationary) planers snipe. Even with these tables you will get some, just not as much or as often as without them. The added stability you get from the tables is often enough to get everything stable before the wood hits the blades instead of four inches later.

These extensions are surprisingly stable. They do fold up out of the way, but there isn't any mechanism to keep them up. I use a Velcro strap, but heavy-duty industrial rubber bands will do just fine. I wouldn't wait to discover that you need these in the middle of a battle with 8/4 hard maple. Buy them when you buy the planer and you won't ever regret it.

Okay, I finally got the folding tables. They are very easy to assemble and align. Each corner of each table can be adjusted for height. The attachment points are spring loaded so they are also easy to take off and put back on. They do help in supporting the work and seem very solid. The front table folds up out of the way and stays there. The rear table however is another story. Because the main table and the back of the moter/blade assembly are pretty much even and the pin to hold the table is set back the rear table will never fold up and stay. When the depth of cut is set around an inch and the cord is wrapped around the cord holder the rear table won't flip up more then around 20 degrees. In my opinion this is a major design flaw, the main table needs to stick out at the rear by at least an inch or two to allow the table to fold up.

If you've read some of the other reviews you already know the back table extension will not fold up with a chip collection accessory hooked up, and that is true. The extensions do work very well with the plainer and install and fold up easily (at least the front). They are made well and work great. The back extentsion not folding up for me isn't such a big deal because I have the chip collection accessory and it sticks out about as far as the table extension anyway. I do recommdend you get them because they do help prevent snipe and make is easier to feed long boards through the plainer. After all, thats the main purpose for them anyway.

The tables are easy to install. Folds up against the planer when the planer is not used for a smaller storage footprint for the planer. The tables are easily to remove and reinstall if necessary. The table returns to the same level after removal and reinstaliation. One adjusted to match the planer's plate, no readjsutment is needed. The table is heavy, well made and not likely to flex as wood is passing over the table. Worth the money but it would have nice for DeWalt to include them as part of the planer package.

These extension tables greatly increase the accuracy of the 735 planer by reducing snipe through additional support on longer stock. They are relatively easy to mount, and provide a plane even with the bed of the 735 planer. While the front (input) table can fold up when not in use, the rear (outfeed) table is blocked by the exhaust port and cannot be raised.

All in all, I would not be without these additions to my planer.

I was happy with the ease of installation, the fact that all hardware came with the kit. The instructions were easy to follow and adjustments were easy to make once the installating was complete. It only took about 20-30 minutes to install and adjust the tables. - Planer - Extensions - Folding Table - Planer Accessories'
