Cordless Impact - impact wrench, milwaukee m18

I have owned and throughly used it as a DIYer for the summer and all I can say is it vastly out performed all of my expectations. I had recently purchased the Craftsman 18Volt version of the same tool and soon discovered its limitations. The Craftsman is a child's toy Christmas toy compared to the Milwaukee. I have removed and replaced passenger car wheels at least a couple of dozen times, plus removing large suspension nuts and bolts including a couple that are torqued to 330 lbs-ft; the tool has never struggles and I am still on the same charge.

I too ordered the tool with the "pin detent" instead of the ball. I chose it because so I didn't need to worry about the sockets falling off when used with the wrench nose down. And for all the other times, I have a super short extension attached to the pin of the wrench and use it has a standard ball detent. This way I get the best of both worlds.

Pros: Great power; Great Battery life; variable speed/force; quite compared to other battery and air impact tools; Great Price when compared to other similar caliber tools, Comes with a nice HD blow molded tool case, charger and two batteries

Cons: With the big battery, its a little heavy; all your neighbors will want to borrow it!

The price here at Amazon is great. It was nearly $200 less than my local tool store wanted for the same tool.

What more can I say, I LOVE THIS TOOL, and would highly recommend it. Milwaukee 2662-22 18-Volt M18 1/2-Inch High-Torque Impact Wrench with Pin Detent

I got mine today after over 2 months waiting because of "back order".

Tried it out, just a short initial performance review.

I was wondering about the pin retainer, I won't advocate for or against, just something that might be useful in deciding between it and the "friction ring" I'm used to. It looks like a rounded pin not a ball. More difficult to get the sockets on and doesn't hold as good as the friction ring.

Except if your sockets have the hole, then they won't come off (unless you use something to poke in the hole to push the pin down). Good if you don't change sockets much, a little more of a pain if you do.

It handled a lug nut (3/4" stud) on an open rim truck wheel, I checked the nut first with a breaker bar and it didn't move with about 350 foot lb of force, so It's easily putting out more than that.

Tried it on the front wheel of my Mitts,, Well that was good for a laugh.

I guess I won't be getting rid of the 1" air impact any time soon.

It appears the 450 pounds-feet advertised is a real number not the rubber kind used by Sears or government accounting.

You aught to be good up to a clean 3/4" bolt.

Unless you also use it as a wheel chock, it's hard to see why you'd want a heavy duty 1/2 Air impact over this.

I like the features of the Milwaukee 2662 impact driver. It takes a little while to get used to the reverse switch and using an Allen wrench or other small tool to remove the socket but you won't lose the socket under your car while working. It removed lug nuts with ease. Just be careful when tightening any fastener. Take it slow at first. I stripped a large tie-rod fastener the first time I used it. It has more torque than my Ingersol-Rand 231 impact driver. The batteries charge very quickly also.

Couldn't believe the power this impact produces. The lugs on my van came right off without hesitation with just a pull of the trigger. Small enough to carry when traveling on long trips for that untimely flat. - Milwaukee M18 - Impact Wrench'

3-hole Punch

There was a typo on this description when we ordered it - should have been a 160 page punch - ended up being a 130 page punch. However, the 130 works great and we really love it here in the office. Ive put up the 125 pages and it works great. The replacement punch parts of not expensive either so even if it gets abused its an easy fix. We ended up with two because we love it so much. Even with 125 pages its not to difficult to push down. You do need to use both hands and push down but it does not require huge amounts of pressure to punch the paper. Its not big and bulky either, fits neatly into a little corner. It is heavy duty and will stay in place while you punch, it doesnt slide around on the table. Good qualilty product. Stanley Bostitch 2-3 Hole Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty Antimicrobial Hole Punch, 160 Sheet Capacity, Black (03200)

The Stanely Bostitch hole punch is used in our Juvenile Department and is very helpful. The problem is the original punch did not last quite a year before it broke. I did research and found that there is a kit that could have repaired the punch but after days of trying I gave up and bought another punch. This punch is very spendy so if there is a kit to make repairs it should be listed on line and should be easily accessible as the punch.

In fairness, our office uses a LOT of three-hole punch paper, which costs considerably more than regular copy paper. Hoping to save some $$ by punching our own paper, I ordered this. And returned it the same day it arrived. Any savings in paper would have been made up by the cost of trips to the doctor for shoulder and arm strains!

This hole punch has exceeded all of my expectations. I put a large stack of paper in expecting to have to struggle to press the lever, and found I was pressing too hard. If you stand, use both hands (as per the instructions) and press gently but firmly, you've got your large stack of papers punched almost effortlessly. Worth every penny.'

Exercise - watches, exercise

I love this watch. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it does it's job perfectly. I love the zone system. It allows me to run much farther and for longer than I have before because I don't exhaust myself by running faster than my body can manage. The beeping feature (that can be turned off) that features two tone beeps to let you know whether you need to slow down or speed up to stay in your zone allows you to pace yourself without having to look at the watch. This model features a bar at the top of the display that shows the lower and upper limits of the zone you want to be in and where you are within (or outside) the zone. This is particularly useful if you decide to turn the two tone beeps off. Not all heart rate monitors from Timex feature this.

The batteries on the chest strap and the watch can be replaced by the user - an uncommon feature I believe.

The chest strap is quite comfortable and picks up signals very well - my wife tried it and she had no trouble with it either (the strap sits on the lower side of the chest). I found that if I put it on about 15 min before I exercised, my body would generate the sweat needed for good pickup.

Some reviewers have commented that the indiglo feature where the numerals light up (rather than the face) made for difficult reading. I found that if I tilted the watch slightly (rather than place the face at right angles to the line of sight), the numerals were clearly visible. I think I prefer this to the old method of lighting the face.

It is a fairly handsome watch - a bit on the thick side (about 14 mm x 42 mm or so wide) - perfect for a man even for daily wear but certainly large for a woman.

It took me a while to decide on buying this watch. Lack of clear size information (their midsize, large and extra large size indications are meaningless) on the Timex website meant that I had to scour shops and call customer service a couple of times to have them measure the watches for me.

PR Timex T5H911 Unisex Digital Fitness Heart Rate Monitor Watch

The last Polar HRM I had died and I assumed it was the battery. Nope the whole thing died. So, I decided to get a Timex this time. I liked that the watch battery has a long life and you can change it yourself, vs mail it back to Polar.

The use of this HRM is a little tricky. You HAVE to use the CHRONO feature or all you get is HR, no calories, etc. Now that I figured that out, I love this HRM. It gets a signal much faster than the Polar, and it seems accurate. I love the zone feature and the recovery feature that keeps track of how much your HR drops in the 1 or 2 minutes after you stop your workout.

This HRM is SO worth the money - equal in features to HRMs that cost hundreds more. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Update - almost a year to the day, the heart rate button stopped working, rendering it useless. :(

I'm 6 feet 4 inches and 210 pounds. The watch is just the right size for me and the band seems quite heavy duty and has a nice feature where the tail of the band has a tab that fits into a notch in the buckle piece so it doesn't flap. The HRM sensor fits comfortably on my 42 inch chest with the detachable band expanded to it's maximum extent. I think it would be too tight for larger chests.

I run the sensor electrodes under the tap and strap it on and the watch always gets a solid heart rate signal. I wear it while using a number of cardio and weight-training machines and in exercise and stretch classes flexing into a lot of crazy positions, and the sensor has yet to drop out. The batteries were fine out of the box.

The watch has a number of fancy watch features, most I don't use. One great feature is the dual timezone setup. I keep the second zone set to UTC and a push of the "start split" button accesses it. If you are into HIIT, note that the timer feature doesn't have the capability for doing (for example) 30 seconds HI and 60 seconds recovery.

The only problem is that I have been unable to get the sensor to work wirelessly with the Precor and Nautilus machines. Note that the product literature doesn't claim that this should work and there doesn't appear to be any standard for interoperability between machines and wireless HRM devices. Some reviews for Timex HRM devices claim that the sensors DO talk to machines. If someone has gotten THIS specific product to work with machines, please tell us how in a comment to this review.

Otherwise I think this product gives very good value. I give it 4.5 stars and if it worked with the cardio machines I would give it five stars. Some may feel it is unfair to downgrade a product rating for lacking a feature it doesn't claim to have: I think a five-star rating should indicate total satisfaction. I really wish the industry would get together and create a standard so these things can work together!

I had used a Garmin E305 to monitor my heart rate and performance on my bicycle during rides. As the Garmin became more flaky, I decided to take a step down to less complex tech... something that gave me the information I needed without complicated features that could become intermittent and frustrating. I decided to use a simple heart rate monitor (HRM) for information about me, and an old wired bike computer for information about the ride. After some research, I settled on the Timex T5H911. Here's the details:

1) The buttons are reasonably easy to learn to use. As with most such items, there are few buttons. So they are multi function. That's not terribly intuitive. You need to read the instructions to figure them out. I did read the instructions and I still have to fiddle around with them from time to time. But it is far from the most confusing piece of gear I've ever had to puzzle out.

2) It captures heart rate quickly and accurately.

3) The booklet that it comes with describes two simple exercise tests that you can do in your own home with the HRM on to determine your max heart rate It only takes a few minutes. After that, you can have the HRM calculate your zones. It also allows you to define custom zones if you want to.

4) Here's where we start getting to the cool stuff... you can select a target heart rate zone before you start exercise. The HRM will measure the full duration of the exercise AND the amount of that time you spent in your target zone. This is a really cool feature to help you determine if you are exercising at the level you want to.

5) It calculates calories. As with most such HRMs, I think it is generous in its calculation to make you feel good about yourself. This isn't a failure of this one product... it is a feature of ALL of them.

6) And another cool feature... you can select whether you display actual heart rate or percent of max heart rate. So if you have trouble remembering the heart rate zone boundaries (let's see, 92 to 110, 110 to 128, 128 to 146, and so on...) you can just just ride the percentages (oh this is easy! 50% to 60%, 60% to 70%, 70% to 80%, and so on...)

7) And yet another cool feature... one of the best ways to take a quick snapshot of your fitness is how much your heart rate drops over a fixed time interval after you stop exercising. This is called initial recovery. The more fit you are, the larger the drop in heart rate. This HRM will automatically measure your initial recovery when you press the stop button. You can select either a one minute interval or a two minute interval. As you become more fit, you will see a greater drop in your heart rate over that first one (or two) minutes after you stop exercising. I had always done this math in my head. It is MUCH easier to have the HRM do that for you while you are still struggling to bring your blood oxygen level up to where you can remember your own name (much less remembering how to do math!).

I strongly recommend this product. It is reliable. Relatively easy to use. Has great features. Get one. - Watches - Calories - Heart Monitor Watch - Exercise'

Coleman Duel Fuel Stove - camping stove, camp stoves

I bought this stove for a recent camping trip after using one my brother has for over 10 years. The materials used today is slightly flimsier than my brothers stove, but overall functionality and other critical materials seemed to be the same. The stove was easy to light up and came with a fuel filter/funnel. It turned out great for use with smaller frying pans and pots and provided plenty of cooking heat. The wind guard helps tremendously in the area we were at and allowed cooking where other unshielded butane stoves couldn't be used. The design allows easy storage and carrying with a handle to allow the stove to be carried like a small brief case.

During the trip a friend brought his Powerhouse version of this stove providiing more BTU and having a larger cooking surface. This was great for larger pots and the extra added BTU cooked a bit quicker. So consider the larger unit if necessary. It'll all depend on what you're using it for and how big of a family/group you are cooking for.

Things to watch out for. Although these are dual fuel - try not to mix the fuels. Always use fresh fuel or else it can take a while for these stoves to "warm up" and burn cleanly. Be sure to oil the pump mechanism on a regular basis. Basically there is a little more maintenance than propane models but it's really worth it. The older models seemed to be more rust resistant as well so be sure to clean up parts and pour out fuel before long term storage.

Most parts are easily replaceable/repairable and can be easily sourced. Coleman 2 Burner Dual Fuel Compact Liquid Fuel Stove

I have had a Coleman dual fuel stove for many years. It has been great for camping, of course, as all coleman stoves are but it was also great during a hurricane. We lost power for two weeks and had all electric. I had no coleman fuel on hand but did have gasoline. We were able to at least keep baby bottles warm and cook our meals every day. Excellent for any automobile camping and very handy as part of your emergency kit.

I've been wanting a Coleman stove for some time now, and finally got around to actually buying one. Too heavy for backpacking (duh) but perfect for car camping. I had a little bit of trouble lighting the auxillary burner (I think it got wet), but it worked just fine in the end, and all in all, this has been an excellent stove. Though I've never had to use it, I like the versatility of the dual fuel, and I love the reliability of Coleman. It's worth the money because I knew it would last forever!!

This is a nice camp stove and can come in handy in an emergency. Unlike propane stoves, you have to follow simple a lighting procedure but it's really no big deal. Once lit the burners are fully adjustable down to a low simmer.

Full burner is extremely powerful. I get better boil times using this stove (outside) than on my kitchen range (inside of course). The stove is not as adversely affected by wind as some of the propane models I've used.

My one runs great on regular unleaded gasoline (even w/10% ethanol ) so I dont bother looking for coleman fuel. Your vehicles fuel tank can serve as a source of fuel in an emergency.

Unlike some of the backpacking stoves that I've used in the past, this one is reliable and starts easily, even when its frigid out.

I take one star off because this model uses a generator system to vaporise the fuel. Generators have been known to clog up over time requiring replacement. Keep an extra generator for piece of mind.

I purchased this product for a recent car camping excursion to Algonquin Provincial Park. Previously, I had a propane stove by the Coleman. I switched to the liquid fuel model to be more environmentally friendly. While the liquid fuel is a little more cumbersome than propane, I found the extra trouble was well worth it.

The burner controls on the liquid gas stove made it much easier to regulate the flame thereby giving you a better heat range to cook different types of food, whereas the propane stove went to high almost immediately. Plus, the Park claimed that it costed them $2.50 to dispose of the nonrefillable propane tanks. A friend of mine suggested refilling the propane tanks myself, but there is a clear warning on the side of the tank that says there is a risk of explosion. However, you can buy an adapter and use the larger barbeque-type tanks for the propane stove, but who would want to haul one of these babies for car camping.

So there you have it. Better flame control and greener. Also you can buy a liquid fuel bottle (I bought one made by MSR) to make the transport of the fuel easier.

This item is a necessity when tent camping or camping with a pop-up. Also like the multi fuel feature. Makes it very convenient if one should be in an area where one cannot buy coleman fuel but regular gas is available. It is easy to start and easy to maintain. My last coleman stove lasted almost 30 years and the only maintainence was to replace a generator and a pump one time each.

This is a great product. We used it everyday, several times a day for 5 days for a family of four (Two men, two women (translated: 2 big eaters, 2 little eaters). It is constructed well and we think it will last a long time. It stores nicely. Simple to use. Easy to clean. Flame even and hot. Boils water fast (important for coffe in AM!). Flame never blew out. Can use one or both burners. Fuel tank keeps pressure for long time...easily enough to cook the meal; if it does go low, easy to pump pressure right up in a few quick strokes. Spacious enough for a 12quart pot and a frying pan if you open wings. Thoroughly recommend.

I remember my dad's green & red Coleman stove on camping trips, as a child. There was a lot of sentimental value tied to that green metal case and the sound of pumping that red gas can. When I got married, and got into car camping with my wife, I went with the duel-fuel Coleman stove + Pwrhouse DF Coleman Lantern. I would have liked the red gas can, but the DF is much more practical using reg. unleaded gas. We have also used it when power went out in our neighborhood during a winter wind storm.

Performance-wise, it's much more efficient than a typical propane model, since you have more BTU's and can pump it up as your can pressure decreases. I'd say it also makes you feel more involved as a camper, since you do more than just hook up a can and go.

I've had mine for 8 yrs now and still enjoy it. - Great Camp Stove - Camp Stoves - Camping - Camping Stove'

Itouch Accessories - itouch accessories, ipod accessories

This protector is great. The product looks a little different from the picture, but its a typical screen protector for the iPod touch. The trick is to know how to put it on right, which can take alot of practice. Bubbles will occur if you've never done it before. Beware of dust and finger prints! I got mine on perfectly! There are bubbles in the edges though because my case that I use on my iPod is really tightly fitted.

Some tips on how to put it on:

- Dont peel off the plastic all the way. Peel off just half an inch or so to stick it on, then align it so that you know it will fit.

- I used a credit card to slide it on so that it covers the whole thing to prevent the bubbles.

- Slide off the plastic slowly while pressing with a card at the same time. Lift up if you see any air bubbles, and just go over it again. 5 PACK LCD Screen Protector for Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation

Um, this product was great. It says it is for the 2nd generation, but it fits perfectly on my 3rd gen. I am very happy with my purchase, and with a price tag of $0.01 for five protectors, how can you lose?

Note: There are going to be bubbles the first few times you try to apply it, but you can work those out.

Its a really good thing that you get 5 screen protectors in an order; I had to throw away my first protector because of some technical issues. The second cover worked great; I tried to apply it slowly because I didn't want air bubbles, but I ended up just throwing the protector on and letting nature take its course. The cover really did a good job at eliminating air bubbles on its own. It left a few bubbles around the edges, but all I had to do was smooth over them with my credit card and they came out very easily.

The only big problem that somebody would have with these is that the protector doesn't fit across the entire screen. There is a microscopic bit of uncovered area around the edges, which is very annoying to nitpicky people like me. Luckily, my silicon case hides the uncovered area and really rounds out the whole look of my iPod, but if you were planning on letting your iPod go naked in the back, I'd suggest ordering a different screen protector. Other than that, I noticed that my protectors looked very scratched up when I took them out of the package, but now that its actually on my iPod, I can't really see the scratches anymore.

All in all, these are definately not top-notch, but they get the job done and you don't have much to lose considering the extremely cheap price.

These screen protectors fit my 3rd Generation iPod Touch 32GB PERFECTLY!! THE ONLY BAD THING IS THE PACKAGING!! IT COMES IN THE MAIL IN A REGULAR ENVELOPE AND KIND OF LOOKS LIKE JUNK MAIL! BUT IT DOES SAY "MEDIA MART" IN THE RETURN ADDRESS.

Besides that I had no problems putting the protector on. Out of the packaging each protector has a Step 1 side and a Step 2 side. It's not rocket science but read the entire instructions below BEFORE hand.

Clean your Touch as best you can with the provided little cloth (it's small but does the job). Step 1 says pull tab before application. So you GENTLY pull off, not the actual tab but what the tab is attached to, a layer of the protector. Carefully you then flip over to the Step 2 side (trying not to touch the surface of the protector) and align the protector from bottom to top of the touch. You align the hole in the protector with the home button on the Touch. If you align the hole up with the button perfectly then the rest will align perfectly as well. Once I align the hole with the button (it took me 2 tries) use the small side of a credit card and push upward on the protector slowly applying the protector making sure there are no bubbles. Any piece of dust or lint will cause a bubble. You may have to peel back the protector (not all the way) to remove any lint or dust if you notice a bubble that will not go away. Try using the credit card to remove any dust or lint from the protector, so you dont leave fingerprints, or use the cloth to remove anything from the Touch. Keep applying the protector with the credit card to you reach the top. Once you have the protector on the way you like it Step 2 says remove after application, so you then GENTLY pull off, not the actual tab but what it's attached to, another layer of the protector. And you're done. I was able to do this in a few minutes just take your time. I only used one protector and I'll store the rest to use later on, but if you completely mess up on your first try the good thing about this product is you have 4 more to get it right. And you can't beat the price...I paid $1.56 with shipping!! And for those who have glare issues these protectors offer no anti-glare but it doesnt bother me and I hear those expensive anti-glare protectors sometimes dont work. For the price you cant beat these screen protectors.

As for shipping I ordered on 7/19/10 and received them on 7/26/10 standard shipping to South NJ. Not great but not bad either. No tracking info was provided.

I don't know why the people were saying you get a squeegee thing to clear the air bubbles. I did not.

Also, it took me about 3 different screen protectors to get it perfect. It's somewhat my fault though because my house is dusty so dust kept creating air bubbles that wouldn't go away.

But it was really cheap and I still have 3 left (they gave me 6).

Oh and this works with the iPod touch 3G 8GB model too...

Thought I would receive saran-wrap for this price but was pleasantly surprised at the fit and quality so far. I have always bought more expensive protectors in the past (invisishield) etc but that could be over with. I do have some experience applying these things with a mini squeegee and some liquid spray from the other companies, this time not it was not needed. The application was very easy , the fit perfect and with one slide over, it went on virtually flawless!

After a few days away with my new ipod , I would definitely recommend this these screen protectors and at this price its a no brainer.....oh yea any ideas what i can do with the 4 extras :) - Ipod Accessories - Screen Cover - Ipod Touch - Itouch Accessories'

Core Training - exercise, fitness

The concept of Men's Health Big Book of Exercises is great: collect hundreds of exercises, group them by muscle group and add some background information and nutritional advice. There you go: the workout manual to make all others obsolete. But despite the lyrical reviews posted here, I found this book disappointing. In short: the collection of exercises is great, but the way they are presented is not optimal. A serious framework to construct your own training plan is absent and the nutritional information is downright silly.

EXERCISES

What I liked about this book is the sheer number of exercises; they are the reason I continue to use this book every now and then. Each exercise comes with at least one clear picture and has some handy little performance tips scattered around. However, this being the main event of the book, there are a number of omissions that I would consider flaws.

First, there is no connection between the discussion of the anatomy in the beginning of each section and the exercises. It's great that you are shown the different muscles that make up the back, but in the 60 or so exercises that follow, there is no way of finding out which muscle or part thereof is targeted by which exercise. Also, if you give 15 variations of one particular exercise, it would have been logical to mark the variations in terms of level of difficulty. No such luck.

Basically, the book first gives some fairly detailed information on an entire muscle group (albeit with some less than great illustrations), but then simply dumps a long list of exercises on you. Though the number of exercises provided is much smaller, the book Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier is infinitely better. It tells you not just how to perform an exercise but also how an individual exercise targets each specific muscle. I sincerely hope Men's Health takes some cues from Delavier for their next edition of the Big Book.

TRAINING PLANS

The 'exercise plans' in the Big Book are alright, but if you are looking for a good, consistent framework to get maximal results (as opposed to just "doing something in the gym"), I feel the The Body Sculpting Bible for Men is way better. It may not have the same number of exercises, nor nice color photos like the Big Book, but I feel the overall framework of training is much more solid and consistent than the somewhat hap hazardous and confusing approach in Men's Healh Big Book.

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION

Now, if it were for the exercises and plans alone, I would still have given the book three stars, maybe even four; the sheer number of exercises makes it quite unique. Five stars would be out of the question, because the difference in content quality is too far off from some of the other books available. Still, I decided to lower the rating by one more star, because of the nutritional sections which are silly at best.

First let me say that from a magazine (such as Men's Health) I fully accept a somewhat eclectic approach. A new study comes out one month that says coffee is bad for you and the next month another says it's good - all fine. A book, however, I expect to be a bit more authoritative. This book is not.

The Big Book opts for the "high protein, medium fat, low carbs" approach. I think Susan Kleiner in her book Power Eating clearly demonstrated why a high carb, medium protein approach is far superior for building muscle and losing fat. Other than the Big Book, Kleiner backs up her story with sound scientific references. Where the Big Book settles for "A study in Denmark found...", Kleiner takes a truly scientific approach. Her conclusions are very different but much more logical and actionable for anyone who can think beyond the simplistic adage "muscle is built by protein, so the more protein I eat the more muscle I get".

Perhaps for people living in the US the nutritional advice in Men's Health Big Book makes some sense. Unspoken assumptions in the book seem to be a consequence of its orientation on the mainstream US audience. First and foremost, you are assumed to be too fat, or at least struggling with overweight. You also really like to eat a lot of fat and most certainly eat lots of animals. Also, you are not willing or able to change any of these habits.

Even within that context, the advice that comes out is sometimes downright puzzling:

- Beans, peas and corn should be avoided as they contain a lot of starch (p. 442)

- However, whole milk is fine (it's not all that much extra fat anyway), source cream is almost pure fat but hey, serving size is generally small, so go ahead! Other "healthiest" or at least "guilt free" foods: butter, pork chops, full-fat cheese, chicken thighs, coconut (p. 444 - 447). This one I found a particularly funny health advice: vinegar is good for you, so sprinkle some on your caramelized onions (!) or in your mayonnaise (!) before you spread it on your sandwich. Now, maybe I have been gone from the US for too long, but I don't think that I ever saw anyone health conscious eat mayonnaise sandwiches. But according to the Big Book, it's apparently great for your workout diet as long as you add some vinegar to it and stay clear of beans and potatoes. Yeah, right!

If you insist of eating a lot of fat, I can imagine the advice in this book to then at least cut back on carbs makes some sense. But it's obvious that this is no optimal diet advice for anyone serious about exercising. Again, Susan's Kleiner approach (high carb, medium protein and low fat) is far more sensible and much better researched. Sure, if you live in an area where KFC is considered lunch and a white sub sandwich is considered your healthy option, any truly sensible exercise diet may be out of reach. But of course, your results will never be the same as when you opt for a truly effective exercise diet.

In summary:

- Great book if you are a strength trainer and are simply looking to find some more exercise variations. The selection of exercises is unparalleled. Major flaw: the book doesn't tell you why and when you should choose one exercise over another, or which muscles each exercise targets specifically. For more detailed information on anatomy, how to exactly perform exercises and how these exercises relate to your muscles and objectives, a much better option is the classic but recently updated Strength Training Anatomy-3rd Edition (Sports Anatomy)

- If you need some guidance in setting up an exercise plan, opt for The Body Sculpting Bible for Men, Revised Edition: The Way to Physical Perfection instead. While Men's Health Big Book contains lot and lots of information, it gives you little guidance to make sense of it all. The little snippets of information basically have the same value as reading a couple of magazines. If you thought this book tied all the somewhat useful snippets of information from Men's Health archives together in a more consistent framework, you're out of luck.

- If you struggle with overweight and you are absolutely sure you cannot stray too far from the mainstream American diet or let go of eating lots of animals and fatty foods daily, then the nutritional advice in this book may be the best you can achieve. But if you are serious about your body and health and are willing to change to an optimal, goal-oriented diet (i.e. eat like an athlete), make sure to ignore all nutritional sections in this book completely. Hardwood Floor Nailer - hardwood floor nailer

I used this stapler to put down ~400ft^2 of engineered hickory flooring. It was easy enough to setup. The adjustable cleat has lots of degrees of freedom, but once I set it up, it never moved or required any adjustment throughout the job. I like that the safety won't engage when the clip is empty preventing dry-fires. The drive depth was consistent from start to finish. I have an adjustable regulator on the hose end and once I dialed it in, I never had to touch it even after starting/stopping over multiple evenings. Though the magnesium makes it light, it still feels solid and well built. I'm happy with my purchase. Bostitch EHF1838K Engineered Hardwood Flooring Stapler

Worked for about ten feet of BR-111 5/16" thick chestnut flooring before dying on me. Trigger wouldnt pull and nose was stuck in. My PSI was set at 62 pounds, the staples used were the ones that came with the kit and I set up the gun quickly using the supplied directions. Called Bostitch for support and they directed me to an authorized warranty center (Apollo Power Equipment in Niles Illinois) to have the gun looked at. Went there at 10:15AM and left about 11:30 with the gun fiddled with but NOT repaired. Called the vendor who sold me the gun (SpeedyNails) and they said they would not replace the gun and that it was a warranty issue. Took it to Pro-Mar in Chicago and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Got back to jobsite and used it successfully for about three hours before I had to leave for the day. I was impressed with how quiet it was and how the staples drove in cleanly and consistently. However, the safety button on the side of the gun didnt seem to want to stay in "fire" mode and clicked off with the slightest touch. It was quite maddening to have to pull the gun away from the work, flip the safety and then re-engage to the work to fire more staples. It should have a more clear detent position on or off. Hooked it up this morning and it died again with the same symptoms after about an hour and a half of use. I briefly considered frisbeeing it from the 25th floor. Bostitch is sending me another gun to replace this one and I hope it works better. I've never had ANY issue with my other Bostitch nail and staple guns. I will update this review after I've received and used the replacement.

I used this stapler on Bella Wood 3/8" solid hardwood maple. It was hard to find a tool that would work with this material. I tried a similar Bostitch stapler that used 20ga staples and one leg of the staple would curl up. The 18ga 1" staples with this tool worked perfectly through the new hardwood over 3/8" luan over 3/4" pine sub-floor. The tool is only setup to work down to 7/16" but I removed the protective plastic covers on the boot and it set the angle and fit right where it needed to be. The 80# air pressure worked well for my application and I did not have to set any of the staples manually.

I recently purchased this stapler to put down 500 square feet of engineered wood. The stapler is easy to setup for the thickness of the flooring and performed flawlessly. 2500 staples later my arm is still attached to the rest of my body due to the lightweight and ergonomic handle. Well done Bostich!

I bought this air nailer for a small 200 sf solid oak hard wood floor and i had no problems at all as long as you set the fences to the right hight for what size boards your using it was very easy to use and sank all the nails to the proper depth

This gun makes the job so much easier.

I did 140 Sq Feet in 4h. on my first project. It is little hard to hold the gun tight to a panels, but plastic block make a great push block for the floor panels. Take little of my time to adjust the foot, but after good setup not a single misplacement of staples. I will buy this product again 100%.

The quality of tool is great, and design is great, when I used with 1/2 solid bamboo nailing to 3/4 OSB the 18 gauge staples had a hard time, they kept curling up, and some cases curled up through the floor itself, did not set good at all. I am going to try the MIIIFS with 15.5 gauge staples to see if it will perform any better. 18 gauge staples are just too thin for this application.

Easy to use, which was good, since there was no manual included, and I purchased a brand new unit.

Works very well, although I had to purchase shorter staples; I installed bamboo engineered flooring, and there didn't seem to be enough power to drive a 1 3/8" staple, but I think that was more a function of the bamboo being very hard wood. The staple would go 2/3 of the way in, but then the top of the staple would crumple on top of itself. My compressor would only go to 120 pounds of pressure, I think higher pressure would have taken care of this in one shot.

The flooring is a click together system, and didn't need staples, but I really wanted the floor to feel very solid.

This tool works great. Just layed about 500 square foot of flooing without any issue or trouble from the Bostitch stapler. I think the bad reviews that customers have wrote about this product is a classic case of, YOU HAVE TO BE SMARTER THAN THE TOOL YOU ARE WORKING WITH. - Hardwood Floor Nailer'

Shorts That Fit Around The Waist

The cut is almost like Khakis only they stop just below the knee on me.

Two side pockets are pretty big and don't bulge if you carry a lot of stuff like I do. Looks nicer than cargo shorts and has almost as much capacity. Dickies Men's 13 Inch Inseam Work Short With Multi Use Pocket, Dark Brown, 29

A little stiff right off the bat but after a few weeks they are the most comfortable shorts you will ever wear. I wear these shorts from 3am when I head to my first job at UPS from there I head over to my other job delivering furniture from 10 to 2. I normally only have one pair at a time and they last me at least 6 months wearing them 5 days a week. the multi-use pocket holds my smartphone even with a heavy duty case, my ipod and box cutter all at the same time comfortably. No complaints.'

Canon Eos - eos 60d, canon

Its a great camera to get your started with Pro-Level photography. The stock lenses 18-55mm and 75-300mm are great starter lenses though I would have much rather preferred the 18-135mm lens with the kit but no complains here. You get everything to get you going with wonderful photos. As with any DSLRs, you can do wonders if you know how to use the camera. Canon EOS-60D surpasses both in picture and build quality compared to its Nikon counterparts (D90, D5000, D7100). Just Google the comparison with Nikon 7100 and you will realize how good this camera is.

Do invest in a better tripod (monopod)than the one in the kit. I would also recommend that you read Digital Photography Vol 1-3 from Scott Kelby, even if you already are a pro. Its a great way to get into serious photography without going into the geeky details. (You can always do that later).

Overall worth an investment. I have ordered the 18-135mm from the seller, anyways. Canon EOS 60D - Digital camera - SLR - 18.0 Mpix - Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS and EF 75-300mm lenses - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: SD, SDXC, SDHC

Skip this package, the tripod was pretty cheap. The top broke the first week. All the cables were nice and the recharge haven't used but the case sucks. I actually ordered another case which is much more stylish and less tourist. Len's is the standard...all and all if I did it again, I would have bought the camera and everything separately, live and learn.

You won't find a better deal with this product! The lenses alone with the camera are worth the price. But you get a bunch of stuff with it too. This is well worth the price and I'm glad I bought it. It shipped in a timely manner too. Thanks

I am VERY happy with this purchase. We bought it through Big Mike's Electronics, they were awesome to work with. Everything arrived on time, included everything that was to be included, there was no damage, etc. I would highly recommend this product. We saved a lot of money vs buyig this at Best Buy, the cost of the 2 lenses alone made up the cost difference. All of the products are working perfectly, we have no problems. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in photography.

I am extremely pleased with both the kit and the service that we received. We were thrilled with the quality of everything included in the kit. Our only complaint was that the camera bag we received was different than the one pictured - it was much smaller and didn't have enough storage space for everything included in the kit. So I emailed the seller about the mix-up, and they shipped another bag to me that same day, free of charge. I just received the second bag today and it is perfect - just what we were hoping for.

I recommend this kit for it's quality, as well as the wonderful seller who made sure to deliver the purchase as pictured. Thank you!

This camera has great technical resources, such as an articulated monitor that allows you to photograph from different angles and the function quick control. Perfect weight for a semi-professional camera.

I bought the Canon in anticipation of taking a trip to Tanzania to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. I want a camera that will give a lot of options for picture taking. The kit will give me those options. I have already started to learn the details of photography will a DSLR. I look forward to being able to use the camera to control the shots that I take with more details and options than a point and shoot.

At first I gave this kit a bad review. Because, I didn't receive the card reader. I thought it was a "flash card" and they would not send me a flash card. So, I was disapionted and gave them a bad review. When I reolized its a card reader, I call them again and they made it right by sending me one. Thank you!

That kit was a GREAT deal! I love my camera, Canon 60D and feel like a PRO with the pictures it takes in a snap! Love It!!!!
