Wire Cutters - tools, pos

This is an excellent tool.I have two sizes, but use the 8" most often. It works well to pull nails, cut wires, nibble metal, and bend, break, cut, or remove all manner of materials. The nipper gets into tight spots to pull nails when a hammer or pry bar won't fit.I used this tool last night. I was removing an old fireplace for a basement remodelling project. I used it to pull nails from the wooden framing. Then I cut the thick wire in the reinforced fabric ducting connected to the blower assemblies. I used it to cut the 12 gauge Romex to the blower (diag cutters or lineman's pliers may be the purist' choice-but I had this tool in hand...)Finally, I used it to bend sharp, nasty sheet metal edges into less dangerous shapes/positions when I was ready to carry the firebox outside.I have also used it in the past to grab rounded screw heads and extract them.Dependable tool. Frequently and successfully used. Highly recommended. Channellock 358 8-Inch End Cutting Plier

I agree with other reviewers here. These end-cutters are particularly well suited to pulling/leveraging nails. They are not as well suited to end-nipping. There are slightly better manual end-cutters for nipping where the pivot is closer to the jaws and the handles flare more widely resulting in better mechanical advantage. There are also ones with double-pivots which generate even better mechanical advantage and work well, but they can be unwieldy.

These however are perfect for nail pulling in that the jaws open wider, the head curvature is just right for the cam-action of leveraging a nail out and the narrower handles enable easy one-hand operation. As a carpenter I use these every day to quickly remove large stubborn nails with minimal damage to the lumber. Paired with a small Japanese prybar (Dogyu or others) they also work quite well for more delicate trim work.

By far, the easiest, quickest and least damaging way to pull nails.

UPDATE Aug. 2011: Ordered a new pair after losing the old ones. Quality and design has definitely gone downhill. Instead of a solid joint, there is a rivet which will wear and loosen faster. Handles are slightly less flared making one hand operation, for me at least more clumsy. Steel/heat-treating seems to be of lower quality and machining is definitely lower quality. Except for the cutting ends, the body is painted black rather than polished. Downgrade from 5 to 3 stars.

Channellock comes through again, as I can't say enough for the utility of this 358 plier/nipper. My main use is renovation. When I go into a home, for example, that has an unfinished basement, for some reason there are always thousands of nails in the joists -- who does that! But these 358 nippers can either snip a nail head flush with a wall, ceiling, baseboard, floor, or joist, or it can effortlessly extract it by rolling it out. You'll never want to use a hammer to extract a nail again since this 358 plier rolls the nail out without marking the face of the board or wall. Also, its handles are curved so that all four fingers can apply equal pressure, giving you more torque. Another use is to cleanly shape material, corners, and edges. I can enlarge a wallboard cutout for an electrical outlet in a precise way rather than using a ziptool or using a clumsy hand saw. No matter what, make sure you have this tool in your belt.

I'm very disappointed in the tool I received. It is not at all like the pictured item or like the #358 I already own. This is one of the problems with mail order, if I had been able to inspect the tool that I was going to be sent I would not have purchased it. Oh well, that's what I get for trying to save a couple of bucks. I should have gone to the hardware store and then I would have known what I was getting. If this is the future of Channellock tools, I'll have to switch to Klein's. They're still made the good old way. The bean counters have ruined another good company.

You can't go wrong with Channellock. I have been using these pliers for a couple of months now to pull and cut nails. They are comfortable to use and provide fantastic leverage when pulling nails. I highly recommend.

End cuting pliers are one of the most useful tools on the planet. Someone needs to give them a better name, something a little sexier. I use mine mostly for pulling nails - they're the only way to go.

in the ad they show this item but it is NOT the item that shows up at the door. i wanted the one in the pic and they send me one like it. they replaced the rivet in it and they changed the cutting part of the tool. the one in the pic is the good one. both half's of the cutting tool is sharp. this one has one side is sharp side and the other side is flat. what a POS. I want to send it back and get my damn money back. Not happy. if this is the tool they will be shipping out they need to CHANGE the damn pic on the site or others will find this to be a crap tool. I have used this tool in my work for over 15 years and now they changed it to a POS. - Wire Cutters - Tools - Made In Usa - Pos'

Coupon Shopping - coupons, grocery

I am a mother of three trying to cope with cutbacks in our family income. I got wind of couponing from some of my friends and after browsing many coupon websites, decided I needed to read some books to learn more as quickly as possible! I read three books: The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half: The Strategic Shopping Method Proven to Slash Food and Drugstore Costs, Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey, & Shop Smart, Save More: Learn The Grocery Game and Save Hundreds of Dollars a Month. Each book was very different, so I thought I'd share my opinions- I hope they can help you!

Let me first say what each book had in common: they all promoted their own coupon websites and they all taught about how to get coupons, organize them and shop with them to save on your grocery bill. The Coupon Mom gave a thorough analysis of couponing, but in my opinion the book's topic was more on frugal budgeting. It spent way too much time stating the obvious and talking to me like I was a five year old.

If you're looking for a basic review of how to grocery shop/a cookbook, this may be for you. The author do cover in depth about how to cook around your new budgeting system: suggests budget breakfasts like 1 cup oatmeal with 8 oz. milk ($0.20), 2 pieces wheat toast ($0.20), 8 oz. orange juice ($0.16). One whole chapter is devoted to saving on each of the following: meat, produce, dairy and treats.

The Best reason to buy this book: It is thorough and orderly. It covers the topic in depth. It also discusses organic products in depth and contains a valuable appendix with companies that mail coupons in response to an E-mail request via their website.

The best reason to pass on this book: It's dull and gives too much information for my taste. I mentioned a chapter devoted to produce, dairy, etc. The dairy chapter contained tips like "making your own yogurt or using nonfat dry milk." Ack! If I needed to do so, I would do it, but I prefer to buy my yogurt, hopefully cheaply with coupons. This book had the broadest approach to grocery shopping in general, which for some, may be appreciated. For a Mom in a hurry like me, I don't necessarily need to read obvious tips like, "don't shop when you're hungry". The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half: The Strategic Shopping Method Proven to Slash Food and Drugstore Costs

My wife bought the book. She didn't find anything really new and has used coupons for years. Her biggest complaint is that the website wants you to sign up with other sites for coupons. Best thing to do is get a disposable email address for the sign-ups. You are selling your contact info for the discounts.

Couponing and the book will work. Number one rule is that you have to do it! The more effort you put into it the bigger the return. How much extra work do you want to do? How valuable is your time?

In the past few months I've read seven books on saving money at the grocery store and have been able to save $20 to $40 on each shopping trip. While each book gave new ideas, "The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills In Half" is probably the most comprehensive.

Stephanie Nelson begins her book by explaining various shopping styles and then makes a convincing case for shopping at wholesale clubs. She then explains how you can save when you buy meats, organic foods, dairy products and beauty products.

While a lot of this book is about clipping coupons, some of the information is more about a back-to-basics approach. Do you really want to wash your own lettuce, repackages bulk meats, make your own tortilla chips, make milk from powdered milk and shred your own cheese? I know I don't but I could be saving even more money if I was willing to give up some convenience foods. I also won't be giving up my Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract for the 16-ounce bottle at Costco. Yes it is cheaper but there is a great difference in flavor. Yes I've done some taste tests with the cheaper vanilla.

So while you read this book you can take all your personal preferences into consideration. Sometimes saving a few pennies just isn't worth the inconvenience. I will say however I use her advice about using baking soda to scrub pots and pans.

Some of the most valuable information in this book is the websites where you can find printable coupons. There is a list of websites in the back of the book. There is also some information on how to use the author's website which I found to be useful.

One of the things I think is amazing is how Stephanie Nelson can remember all the prices of all the foods she is buying. She saves even more money when she finds a price discrepancy.

While this book is helpful I'd encourage you to also buy the following books:

20 Grocery Store Savings Ideas: Grocery Coupon Savings Tips For Those Grocery Shopping On A Budget

~The Rebecca Review

I am a moderate coupon user, and the book did have new ideas for using coupons that I didn't realize. I like the idea of emailing companies to get free coupons, and the list of companies and the websites that will send coupons is really helpful. I also like the detailed chapters on other ways to save besides using coupons--like what the best deals really are at warehouse clubs and even how to save on organic food. The book was also really easy to read. Well worth the money in my opinion!

I bought this book at the same time I bought "The Krazy Coupon Lady: Pick Another Checkout Lane Honey", KCL was defiantly more clear and spoke to me, The Coupon Mom was not as exciting or as easy to interpret I thought. Its not bad, its just alright, lots of information on grocery shopping in there I didn't believe I absolutely needed, and less info about couponing that I would have liked to learn. - Saving Money - Coupons - Coupon Mom - Grocery'

Welcome Mat - household, mats

I have been wanting this doormat for some time now and it's always been so darn expensive when I had found it. I decided to try looking for it on amazon and found that it was better priced so I bought it. I wasn't expecting a whole lot but when I got it I was stoked with how wonderfully made this mat is. It's already gotten dirty enough to where it had to be washed...thanks to ohio's rainy weather...so I washed it hoping that it didn't come to it's end in the washer or the dryer, but to my surprise it came out looking just the way it did when I got it:) High Cotton Inc Wow! Nice Underwear Cotton Front/back Doormat New

We bought this door mat as a gift for my brother who just moved into a new place. I recently went to visit him and saw the mat and didn't recognize it because it was very worn and much smaller than I had imagined. (he has only had it a few months) So overall I was a little disappointed in this door mat! - Household - Welcome Mat - Mats'

Picture Frame - pandigital photo frame, pandigital

The Pandigital PAN7000DW 7" digital photo frame is the best digital photo frame I've found yet. I've purchased 4 other models in different sizes from Axion, Phillps, Smartparts, and Opteka. All of these others had various issues (16x9 when I wanted 4x3, didn't always start picture show automatically, buggy software).

The PAN7000DW is reasonably priced (about $65 from Amazon as of 11/9/2009) as compared to the Sony models which are all much more expensive.

The PAN7000DW display is excellent -- showing 800x600 pictures crisply and vividly. The software is very good with a reasonable user interface and useful options. I like displaying my photos using their original dimensions (the optimized view attempts to maximize the amount of display used but will chop off edges to accomplish this) - you can pick the view mode you want.

The frame accurately shows the EXIF photo date/time if you want to display it. It will also optionally show the current time. It has a nice calendar w/ picture view as well as the normal full frame photo view. And it seems to show ALL your photos eventually (I had a strange problem with an Opteka frame not showing all the photos, only a subset). The remote is small and is held on the back of the frame by a magnet. The remote works well (some remotes I've used have buttons that are hard to press or control). The menu structure (frame software) is logical and well arranged.

The clock functionality and auto turn on/off functionality is useful if you have power available to your frame at all times. However, I've hooked my frame up to a motion sensing power strip in my office and the time/date gets whacked when the sensor shuts off for the weekend (the time/date seem to survive for a few minutes or hours without power but not over a weekend). So if you use your frame with a motion sensing powerstrip, forget using the clock/calendar feature.

As I've discovered with many photo frames, if you want to display pictures in a particular order, they must exist in flash memory written down in that order - this is not a visible ordering - it does not depend on file name or file creation time. If you start with a totally empty flash card (or internal frame memory) then it will be the order in which the files are copied to the memory device. Macintosh and Windows file copy routines are the fastest way to copy files but the order in which copying takes place is not under your control if you move a large number of files all at the same time - the operating system parallelizes the copying for speed but this places the pictures in different physical memory order. It is too bad that most photo frames do not allow you to display in creation date order or EXIF date order or even file name order.

The best way to lay down the photos in sequence is to start with an empty flash device. Then copy the files either one by one by hand or using an automated method that copies files only one at a time. A cmd file on Windows that can do this is like:

-------

dir /b /od>c:\junk.txt

for /f "delims=*" %%i in (c:\junk.txt) do copy "%%i" f:\

-------

[...] (you need to change this script to fit your exact situation)

Alternatively you can use Photoshop Elements or some other photo management tool to export photos in sequence directly to a memory card or your picture frame.

Hopefully future photo frames will become a bit more intelligent and allow you to pick your display order.

Overall I've found the PAN7000DW to be a good value and to work as you would expect. Pandigital PAN7000DW 7-Inch Digital Picture Frame (Black)

I bought the Pandigital PAN7000DW so that I could load it up with pictures and videos of my new son and send it to my grandmother. After a few hours dealing with it (I'm very experienced with computers and electronic gadgets), here's my take:

- I like the look of the frame (classic looking) and the screen is bright and crisp.

- I could not get any video files to work. The documentation says it plays motion jpeg AVIs, and I tried many conversion options on my Mac using MPEG Streamclip and could not get it to work.

- Navigating the menus is a pain using the built-in buttons, so at first glance you're glad they included a remote...except the remote only registers about every 3rd button click, so you're constantly over clicking.

- The UI is pretty slow and lags your button presses.

All that said, it'll do what I want it to do. I've loaded it with 223 pictures at 1280x720 resolution, and it only takes up 34MB of the 1GB internal memory.

Right after I purchased a digital picture frame (about to become my Mom's 90th birthday present), the Pandigital PAN7000DW 7-Inch Digital Picture Frame (Black), I found an offer from Amazon Vine for a similar item, Smartparts SP72 7-Inch Digital Picture Wood Frame with Beige Matting (Espresso). Oh well -- it gave me the opportunity to compare-and-contrast the two frames (which are similarly priced). *I* didn't know which of these gizmos was best for the purpose, and I dare say you're just as unsure, so maybe my experience can help you.

The short summary: both these frames do what they claim to: They display your photos. But neither of them will give you a heartwarming feeling. The ideas are sound; the implementation kind of stinks. Perhaps more-expensive units have a better user interface, but these two frames are somewhat disappointing.

Let's start with the positives. The picture frames both have a 7" display, which is big enough for sitting on a desk or coffee table, and the displays are bright and clear. You do need a power cable, which might limit where you set up the frame; I can't see hanging them on a wall. The wood frame on the Smartparts is slightly nicer than the Pandigital, but both are reasonably attractive. The basic setup is extremely simple: stuff an SD memory card into the frame and turn it on.

A 2GB card holds 1000+ photos, depending on image resolution. That's a LOT of pictures, even when putting together a huge "this is your life" collection as we did for Mom. I bought a 4GB card along with the Pandigital, which would hold about 5,000 photos, and I could have saved a few bucks.

One thing that isn't clear from the documentation is that you don't HAVE to use an SD card. Both units have their own on-board memory that lets you add a decent number of pictures. You'll need to use the USB connection to get to that memory (and I never DID figure out how to delete their sample photos, grrr); more on that USB connection in a moment.

The Pandigital frame will also play MP3s, if you like. I didn't explore that feature because (a) my Mom's almost deaf and would never use it and (b) there are probably better options for playing music. The Pandigital can also be used as a clock and calendar, though I'm "eh" on that option myself; perhaps you care.

Other options are more important, I think. The Smartparts frame has an option for showing multiple pictures at a time (photo of mom on the left, then Pop's picture on the right, then fade to a third picture to replace Mom's photo). It really does look good, except that a 7" frame is too small to show most photos in enough detail to bother with this. Depending on how you use the frame, though, this feature could be useful. (Maybe for advertising purposes, such as in a realtor's front window, where the detail is a bit less important?)

Both frames have a USB connection, so you can plug them into your computer (mine's a Mac) and easily transfer JPG files to the frame or to the SD card you already stuffed into it. (That's a good thing, in the case of the Smartparts frame, since the card is a real pain to remove.) On the plus side, it means that I could choose a photo in iPhoto and export directly to the unit. On the downside, the Smartparts USB connection was very flaky; it would disconnect itself randomly -- usually in the middle of a file transfer. I used colorful curse words. You're probably best off to use whichever SD-card reader you already use to connect with your PC.

But truly the worst thing about these frames is a terrible, awful user interface for adjusting settings and for interacting with the unit. Both let you control the slideshow from buttons on the top or back of the unit. The Pandigital's are on top, which is slightly more convenient, but both are hard to read without a bright light nearby. The Pandigital also has a remote which (nicely) has a magnetic spot to hold it to the back of the unit. However, I give Mom about 20 minutes before she manages to lose it; it has the right dimensions to be a dandy cat toy, so I'm not upset that the Smartparts unit (which I'm keeping for myself, in case that's not obvious) doesn't have one. Plus, the remote's controls are sticky enough that it takes a few button-whacks to get the frame's attention.

Anyway, they both work with "OK" and "MENU" sort of buttons, and then up/down/right/left arrows to make selections. But the menu design is so poor that it's never clear when you want a right-arrow or a down one. (I never did get the clock set correctly on the Pandigital. Perhaps more detail was in its documentation, but I can't tell you. Other than a "getting started" flyer, the doc is on one of those tiny mini-discs which I feared would disappear into the maw of my iMac's drive. The Smartparts printed documentation is a little more extensive, but not much; a missing CD promised a Windows app, but I wasn't going to use it anyhow.)

Please note that you WILL need to mess with the settings. For one thing, the Smartparts frame seems to need to be told EVERY TIME to show pictures from the SD Card rather than from its own memory. The default time selection to show each photo (5 seconds) is probably too fast for what you prefer, one both units. (The Smartparts has slow/regular/fast; the Pandigital unit has specific time measurements, ranging from 5 seconds to one day.) Most irritatingly, both frames assume you want to choose the "optimal" display setting (well it does SOUND like what you want, right?). However, that actually means, "Make sure the photo touches the right-and-left edges of the frame, even if it means I chop off the heads of the people in the picture." The Pandigital unit automatically shifts the photo display based on whether you arrange it narrow side up or wide side up, but I can't see moving it around that much.

Despite our trained expectation of 5x7 photos, I came to the conclusion that these gizmos ought to be square to accommodate both horizontal and vertical photos. In reality, if I were to get serious about displaying the photos, I'd crop the images to make them get along with the gizmos' formatting; I wasn't about to do that with the 850 images I set up for Mom.

Bottom line: Both of these digital picture frames will get the job done. One isn't significantly better than the other, so I can't tell you to choose the Pandigital over the Smartparts or vice versa. No matter which you choose, though, expect to spend some time cussing before you finish with the setup. - Pandigital - Pandigital Photo Frame - Digital Picture Frame - Digital Frame'

Knife-setting Jigs - freud, jointers

I ordered the Freud C400 6-1/8-by-11/16-by-1/8-Inch Jointer Knives as a replacement for my 1950s era Craftsman Jointer. They arrived promptly and in excellent condition.

I had a little difficulty in installing them due to the fact that they were actually 6-3/16 inches long instead of the advertised 6-1/8. Other dimensions were accurate. I was able to install them and they are performing satisfactorily, however the extra length does not allow any freedom in installation which will shorten their life by not allowing me to shift position slightly when the inevitable nicks occur.

I will try another manufacturer next time with the hope that they will be closer to the advertised dimensions. Freud C400 6-1/8-by-11/16-by-1/8-Inch Jointer Knives, 3-Pack

Bought these knive to replace the ones in my ridgid jointer! right out of the box they had a curl on them and needed to be honed! Should have sent them back but I needed them immediately. After only an hour or so of use they are completely curled over and so dull they chatter the wood. Very dissapointed in the product, spend the money and get a good set if you plan on using them at all!

Needed replacements for my ridgid jointer. These look identical and are exactly the same dementions. They are razor sharp and mount in there perfectly. Have not had a chance to try them yet but I have Freud blades in my table saw and router and they hold up great so I would expect the same from these. I have learned not to be too hard on jointer blades. Don't cut deeper than you have to and check your blades often. I didn't bother to check them till I was getting bad cuts and was amazed at how badly I had worn them down.

A friend of mine brought over a Sears 6 1/8 jointer he found in the garbage. It was covered in rust and the motor was missing. I decided to rebuild it at almost the cost of a new one. Sears wanted $36.99 for the blades plus shipping and tax. I decided to take a chance on these blades for $17.11 from Amazon. The blades are a perfect match to the old blades. If you have a Sears 6 1/8 Jointer Model#113206931, these blades will fit, but always measure the size of the old blades to be sure. Since Sears made several different models of jointers.

I restored an old Craftsman 6" jointer I inherited from a friend of the family and I was surprised to find the exact replacement knives from Freud. This jointer is an early 1950's model and with the new knives leaves as good a finish as I good possibly want. Excellent product as are all of the Freud products I have.

I used these on my Ridgid JP0610 Jointer and they are at least as good as the blades that came with the unit. They already have little nicks in them, which is about what the stock blades did too. For the price they are very reasonable. If you want basically the same blades that came with your Ridgid, these work fine. They are not an upgrade, but may very well be the most cost effective solution. I bought a couple sets to make sure I don't run out again. As always they were shipped promptly and arrived on time and un damaged. - Freud - Ridgid Jointer Blades - Jointers - Knife-setting Jigs'

Tv Mount - home theater wall mount, audio-video shelving

I searched for a long time to find a dual component mount that was one piece for a competitive price. The price was great and it is very sturdy. We have a cable box and DVD on one shelf and and Ipod player on the other shelf. All works great. AVF ESL822B-T Tilt and Turn TV Mount with 2 AV Shelves and Cable Management System for TVs upto 46-Inch (Black)

I've been wanting to mount a tv on my wall for sometime but I always wondered 1)where I would put my receiver box and blu ray player 2)How to hide the cords. This product solved everything! The tv is mounted, there is a place to put my components and it does a very good job at hiding the cables. I agree with others that the installation is not the easiest because there are no words but we figured it out. At the end of the day I'm VERY happy with it...very strong and sturdy! Buy it. You won't regret it.

I researched many different manufactures before I decided to purchase this product. The construction is good and mounting the TV is easy. It's the most versatile mount I found. My mounting installation was unique. It was on a wall by my bed that I walked by all the time with little room to walk. It was a tight installation and on a non-stud wall. The 5-6 holes in both wall bracket section allowed me to put enough screws in to securely support everything. So the mounting the TV wasn't the big issue, It didnt stick out from the wall to far, but mounting the components were my concern. This unit allowed me to mount the included shelves above the TV, out of the way my walking path. This is what I was looking for in one complete mounting kit.My only couple complaints about the unit are 1) It's difficult to reach the bolts that control the tilt angle of the tv. 2) In my opinion, the shelves are about 4-6 inches to deep. 3) One of the brackets that attaches to the tv is so close to the Vizio power attachment, It's actually bending it to the side a little. I'm sure it's fine and wont effect the tv. It's probably more of a Vizio design flaw then it is a bracket flaw. Because Vizio decided to put the power supply right inline with the mounting holes.I'd recommend this mounting kit to anyone. - Glass Tv Component Shelf - Home Theater Wall Mount - Component Shelf - Audio-video Shelving'

Diaper Sprayer - toilet, cloth diapers

Overall, spray is as described. The spray is constructed well.

The negative issue, is the hose connecting between the water outlet and spray.

The hose is just a plastic tube (~1/4 inch). The connection between the tube and

the spray is the new locking mechanism. If you do not shove the tube all the way

in, the water will leak.

Also, if you attempt to spray, and you do not have the valve turned on, the pressure

will loosen the connection and water will leak (or spray all over).

I've made adjustments, and I am fine with it. Mini-Shower - Bidet & Multi-Use Hand Held Sprayer

This item is poorly engineered. The antisiphon portion is attached below the toilet tank and is unstable. Perhaps a cone washer intead of a flat one would have helped. Repeated efforts at installation in accordance with instructions were unsuccessful. The assembly leaked like a sieve. I returned the item.

Look for a sprayer with the antisiphon device resting directly on the toilet shutoff valve for stablility and to prevent leakage.

This is a very useful device with an overall fine design. But, it will break. I know because this is my 3rd unit. These won't survive a full year of service if used several times daily which I do. How unfortunate that a nice product is crippled by a fatal flaw. The trigger (black plastic) is used to move the valve for control of water flow. However, it accomplishes this with two plastic "fingers" which are simply too lightweight and fragile for the task. Either a metal actuator or heavier plastic is required. The company will suggests that the customer may have dropped the unit. Nope. Use it regularly and you will be replacing it regularly. I wish there was more pride in manufacturing.

I purchased the Mini-Shower hand held sprayer primarily for one reason; cleaning up baby poop from cloth diapers. In the meantime, I also use it as a bidet to clean my underside. For both of those purposes, this item is excellent. Just make sure not to crank it all the way on because the jet spray is serious business! I almost gave myself an enema! :-(

The only issue I'm having is getting the tube going into the sprayer to stay in. I've followed the directions with regard to turning off the water when it's not in use. The wife hasn't quite caught on to that concept yet. While sitting in the bedroom, I heard a spraying sound. The aforementioned hose was spraying water all over the place! I've resorted to just putting some packing tape around it to hold it on. Other than that, this item is worth every penny! - Toilet - Shower - Cloth Diapers - Diaper Sprayer'

Face Cream - retinol, vitamin a

I have been using this product for 3 days now and WOW I am simply amazed. I have sensitive skin so I was a little reluctant to try this product thinking it would be to harsh. I did a skin test the first night I got it and everything was fine the next day, that night I used it over my entire face and almost immediately I could feel the difference. Over the past three day my face feels a lot smoother and I can see discoloration lightening. The most amazing part is the way my skin feels, super smooth and supple. Even my 6yr old son made mention that my face feels so soft. I love it, I am going to order a second bottle just to keep it on hand in case I can't find the first one. Very happy with this lotion! Only using it at night and wake up with really smooth skin and pores look smaller. I wish I could use it during the day too, but worried about the sun sensitivity from the Retinol (although, I'm not really sure how much 150000iu of retinol is, since most labels identify it as a %). Overall, very please and will buy again!

I'm in my low 20's but I like to use retinol for targeted issues. I like this one because it comes in a pump rather than a jar. I love the organic content; those sort of "healthy" ingredients is what I look for in my beauty products, and it is hard to find in a retinol cream.

I have tried so many lotions, potions and other things to help my 40 year old skin, I have sun damage showing up with a vengeance. Most retinol products have either been too harsh or too weak but this one is just right. The ingredient list has ingredients that nourish my skin (hemp, grape seed oil) and enough retinol to help my skin start looking more radiant and fresh. I have had very mild peeling with this product, enough to show it's working but not enough to hamper make-up application. Love the product and the price, this will be on my must have list for face care.

Okay, so I was not sure about getting this - but it is amazing. I use it two or three times a week and every time I do I wake up and my skin looks like new! Tightens pores and eliminates redness; I use it over some argan oil and it's perfect.

I'm really glad that I decided to try Retinol products. I really do like purchasing them for Amazon.com.

Watts Beauty Retinol Face Cream 150,000 IU per oz. has lightened and evened out my skin complexion

so well that my friends are taking notice. I also use Skincare L&L Cosmetics Retinol day and night cream.

I am a African American baby-boomer woman. I have always taken care of my skin. but recent I have

discovered better products to use. Thank you Amazon for carrying them.

I recommend this Retinol cream for improving your skin and getting away with using less makeup.

Because this cream is really oily, my skin didn't get dry, irritated, or red from the retinol. Even though the cream is oily, it didn't cause any pimple/breakout...and I have acne proned and oily skin! The oily cream helps "balance" the strenght of the retinol, I think. When I use it at night, the next morning my face feels well moisterized and the retinol helps remove some dead skin. I would recommend this product.

I like this Watts Retinol Face Cream. Only after a couple of uses my skin is very, very soft. I see a change in the texture. Can't wait to see the results with continued use. I'm 54 yrs old with little to no wrinkles but creepiness and dark circles under my eyes. This seems to be helping that too!!

I've had this product for about a month and have used it faithfully every night. Wow! The texture of my skin is noticeably softer and smoother. My pores seem to be smaller. I've used so many products on my face and this retinol face cream really works better than any I've used. The 80% organic products is a real plus. I have melasma and believe this has lightened it. I will continue to use this cream on my face and neck. I love the price! There are so many retinol products on the market that are out of sight as far as price and not as effective.

This is an awesome product not just for it's price but because it's as effective as medical grade age fighting/wrinkle erasing products. I don't recommend using this alone since it is very lightweight and not very moisturizing for people with dry skin like me. Instead, use it at night in conjunction with with your skin care (toner, eye cream, and night cream). When I use it, I notice an immediate difference in the morning because I wake up to glowing, clear, and smooth skin. I have sensitive skin prone to eczema so I sometimes dilute it with a cream and alternate using it on every other night.FYI: Currently I use dermatologist sold products such as Neocutis Lumiere eye cream and Vivate serum and night cream. Before that I happily used Shiseido Bioperformance and other high end department store brands (Le Mer and Cle de Peau). I have also used prescriptions like Retin-A and having experience it, this is the real deal. Having dished out oodles of money on beauty, I LOVE LOVE that this product is a utter bargain. - Retinol - Vitamin A'

L T Beasimer - lady gaga, dance pop

I have loved this recording for twenty years. It is Judy Garland at the climax of her now legendary 1960-1961 tour. My only problem all these years, in my opinion, was that both the LP and original CD release had a very muddy sound to them. The original CD release even substituted a studio version of "Alone Together" for the original track. The performance was still classic, but Judy was lost behind the roar of the crowd and a brilliantly loud orchestra. Well my friends, NOT any more! DCC obtained the original master tapes and re-mixed them the way they should have been. This "live" recording has a REALLY "LIVE" sound to it. Judy is right out front beating the band and has never sounded better. Things what were nearly undetectible on prior issues are now loud and clear! Not only is the audio quality improved but the recording is finally REALLY complete. Including the original "Alone Together" track. You have every moment as it happened nearly 39 years ago. From the first round of applause when the house lights dimmed, to Judy's footsteps across the stage, to additional storytelling by Judy, to the enthusiastic chatter after the curtain fell. It's all there! I don't care if you are a die-hard Judy Garland fan or just meeting Judy for the first time. If this is your first exposure....WHAT AN INTRODUCTION! The Gold Disc set is a must have for ANY music lover. Who ever said that you can't improve a classic. Steve Hoffman and DCC have done just that! The booklet included contains both the original album liner notes and new insightful narritive by noted Garland historian Scott Schechter. Listen especially for the new story from Judy following "That's Entertainment" on disc two. Shows off her legendary sense of humor brilliantly. I give this release ten stars. A highly entertaining, musical experience! Buy It! Judy At Carnegie Hall

This new reissue of possibly the greatest live album by a popular singer of the last century is amazing. In the previous CD release, the overture was thrilling, but here it positively blasts you out of your seat. The audience spontaneously bursts into applause at the climax of The Man That Got Away during the Overture; with this new release you'll hear why: you'll "get" the full power of this wonderful orchestra for the first time. But the best part is, of course, the clarity and power of Judy's voice, which is present on this CD with dramatic vividness. My previous (slight) reservation that her voice was not as powerful as it had been 10 years earlier has been corrected. From the moment she opens with "When You're Smiling", you'll know that she never sounded better! If you already know this performance, your first time hearing this CD will be a revelation, no matter how highly you regarded it before. They have finally released the entire concert, and the pandemonium of the last half hour of the event is excitingly captured, unlike in the previous CD, which merely hinted at what you'll hear here. There is also a new story, one which you can also find on the DVDs of her TV show, but which she puts a hilarious twist on in this CD.It's about time this great performance was given the Royal treatment it deserves. When will there ever be another talent like this? By the way, if you don't already own a surround sound system, this release is the reason to get one. I actually went out and bought a new pair of rear speakers a week after I got this CD.

I have been a fan of this concert since the mid '70s, when I bought the double-record set. Even then I thought it had muddy sound, which I attributed to a belief that the technology for live recordings was primitive in 1961 (not true; it was just a muddy mix!) Nonetheless, this was an addictive recording. The first CD was a terribly disappointing abridgement of the album, with at times an even worse mix than the old lp. The next CD edition was exciting; an improvement over anything that had come before, restoring most of Judy's stories and interaction with the audience, but with some odd flaws: most notably the use of a studio recording in place of one of the live tracks. The release of this new "Gold CD" mix is the most exciting thing since the release of Judy's TV shows on DVD. The sound is vivid, crisp and exciting; the mix is perfect and in a league far beyond that of any earlier release. It brings this recording into the digital era. The restoration of every moment of the original tapes is not archeology; it IS history, and it DOES make it possible to experience more of this amazing evening than ever before.I believe that this was the greatest single pop concert of the 20th Century, and this new release is the only way to experience it now.

This album was originally purchased by me for my 11th birthday (6.00 for mono!). Afterwards my ear was cocked to the hi-fi speakers for weeks. I had never heard anything like it. Almost forty years latter, I still haven't. In the intervening years the mono album was replaced with the stereo version. These LPs were replaced with a truncated CD version which, in turn, was replaced with the 2-CD version. Then came Amazon.com to tempt me with the DCC gold plated issue. My first (and second) reaction? No way. Not again. Well, after reconsidering, the "Gold" version just arrived in the mail this week, compelling me to write. If you've purchased this title before, break down and do it again. I never thought the previous issues were engineered very well, but attributed that to the shoftcomings of live recording. This version finally got it right. The voice is front and center, no longer competing with the orchestra, yet the musicians are heard with a clarity that's new, revealing textures not heard before. The previous versions put you in the audience. These CD's have you sitting on the stage. If you think you've heard this concert before - you haven't. And if you never have, put this in your shopping cart. There must have been some type of planetary alignment the night this concert was recorded. The songs and their arrangements are a testament to how the Great American Songbook often went beyond craft to art. The orchestra and the audience are in some sort of metaphysical groove with a gifted performer who was never in better form than on that particular evening. Her talent was rarely, if ever, better documented. - Pop - Dance Pop - Lady Gaga - Music'
