Beaded Bracelet - men, leather bracelet

This bracelet was a gift for a 13 yo girl. She loved it! The quality of the bracelet was good. The it shipping was very timely. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 b/o packaging,it arrived in a small zip plastic bag.Otherwize it was awesome! She still has it on and gets tons of compliments. Starfish Beaded Multi-strand Leather Zen Bracelet

This bracelet was given to me as a gift. When I first looked at it, I

thought this is a unique design, but I wondered if it was something I

would have picked out myself. Have come to realize that it's a great

look that I really enjoy wearing. It's sturdy, fits perfectly, and it

looks good by itself or combined with my other leather bracelets.

Even though I didn't choose it, it has grown to be my favorite

bracelet - and I have lots of these!

LOVE this bracelet! It is exactly what I was looking for! I have half a mind to buy more of these! They have a slip knot to fit any size wrist, the leather gives it a nice earthy-eclectic feel, and the various colored beads and charms allow it to work with any outfit! If you're buying this as a gift, you better buy two because you'll surely want to keep one for yourself!! I love this bracelet and will probably buy another one!

I just received my bracelet, I have been so excited to get it but I am a little let down about it, It looks a little cheap not worth 20 dollars in my case 30 because I got 2 day shipping. And one of the beads where off so now I have a broke bracelet, its still cute though jst not worth 20 maybe 15 I jst wish the thing wasn't broke thats all.

Oh my...I am sad to say that this little gem is not a gem...it fades on my wrist...it looks not so pretty when you actually see it in person...the beads appear to be a very inexpensive painted wood...that again...left my wrist rainbow hued...

There are many other Zen bracelets from this maker that are lovely without the wooden beads. I am still not a fan of the wooden beads.

I am happy to say that this company was very concerned about my experience with this bracelet and did everything they could to fix the issue and they did.

This bracelet appealed to me more online than in person. I dont like the gold chain that hangs on the bottom. I might cut it off. This bracelet feels bulky on my wrist and wasnt as attractive as the photo. I havent worn it yet, debating on regifting it. lol - Bracelet - Men - Boy - Leather Bracelet'

Metal Banded - carrera, chronograph

I owned a Tag before this one and they are just great watches. I have had this Caliber 36 watch for about 3 weeks now and it still amuses me. For the money, it should and does keep good time. I have realized i am not a fan of the seconds rotating scale, it is tough to tell what exact second you are on when the stop watch is not running. However very stylish and classy looking. The chronograph second hand sweeps very well and the scales are pretty easy to read. The cote de geneve on the bar that connects the 6 and 3 is pretty decorative.

The vernier scale for the .1 second is pretty neat, though I do not know when I would ever need to use it. Nicely engineered piece. TAG Heuer Men's CAV5115.BA0902 Grand Carrera Automatic Chronograph Black Dial Watch

While on holiday at US I was searching for this particular model at various retail outlets of Tag watches. More or less this model was out of stock and otherwise available at much higher price. Alternatively I checked it on Amazon and got a very good price and a prompt delivery.

This watch sucks butts. I've owned several really expensive watches because I'm a really important and rich human being, and let me just say how much butt this watch actually sucks: A LOT. I also own a lot of boats and other sea-faring vehicles, and this watch is only resistant to 99 feet???? Get outta town Charlie. I get drunk and fall off my boats a lot, and I'm also slightly overweight (from the quality of life I lead, as a rich important man), and falling 99 feet isn't tough for a wealthy fat man like myself.

In closing, don't buy this watch, buy a Kia instead. - Chronograph - Carrera - Grand Carrera - Tag Heuer'

If you live in cowboy boots like we do, you'll either go through the traditional break-in period, especially if you have a high instep, or you'll use a device like this to speed up the process. This really is intended for heavy boot shop use as it is built to last forever. Still nice to have when needed. Excellent quality. Cast Aluminum Boot Instep Stretcher'

Ipod Accessories - usb, ipod accessories

While the picture shows an iPod connector manufactured by Apple, you are sent a third party cable which doesn't even allow me to connect my PC to my iPod. A total failure of a product and of a company. Dock Connector to USB 2.0 Cable for iPod and iPhone (White)

The cable they sent is a cheap generic cable that doesn't work properly. It does not look anything like the image and it is not an Apple product. This product page is utterly misleading and should be modified to correctly describe the product this company is selling (i.e. a non-Apple, third party cable),

I didn't start out a tightwad. I already bought a spare cable for $20 at the Apple store. Someone ripped it off from my desk at work. LAME. I am not made of money so I had to find a less expensive replacement. Enter: Amazon!

The quasi Apple-like packaging with a prominent 'Made in China' sticker product arrived in the mail a few days ago. Fast shipping? Absolutely. Safe wrapping too: they used bubble wrap and taped it up carefully so no shipping damage.

It works with my iPhone 3G for charging and syncing which is what I care about. If you can overlook the faux packaging you can get yourself a nice cable for a lot less $.

WARNING: the picture of this product is NOT what you get, and it is made by "Inspiretech", not Apple as claimed. Yes, it seems to charge my iPhone 3G which is all I really need it to do, but there should be some truth in labeling for these Amazon external sellers...

Do NOT Use this cable. Despite the fact that the seller has identified this as being an Apple product, it's not. It's made by a company called Inspire Tech. I notified Amazon that the product details are wrong, but there's been no resolution. I would never have purchased this cable if that info hadn't been wrong. I bought two and one didn't work at all and other cut out after a few uses.

Some reviewers have said that the cost is low enough that you can afford to buy a bunch a throw away the ones that don't work... I really don't agree with that. Using a bad cable on any device that draws power through the cable is a recipe for a screwed up device. It's a risk that's not worth taking considering the cost of the devices you're hooking up to it! Avoid! Amazon sells a retractable iPod/iPhone cable that is about $9 and performs perfectly.

Contrary to what is advertised and what other 'reviewers' indicate, the product I received was not a genuine Apple product and was indeed a cheap imitation. The product was inexpensive, but this doesn't justify patently false advertising.

Pros: The product does allow the iPhone 3G to be charged, but the plug gets pretty warm compared to using the original cable.

Cons: The product does NOT allow you to sync the iPhone, which makes this product quite useless.

Cons: It also looks very much like an imitation product. Guess you gotta pay the full $17 to enjoy the benefits of a real product. - Usb - Ipod Accessories - Ipod Charger - Iphone Cable'

Driving - maps, driving

I got Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005 w/GPS early in 2005 and there were quite a few usability issues with the program. The biggest gap was no voice commands. This new version includes new voice command prompts, which are pretty good and on the screen in VERY large size font it shows you what you will do next along with how much of a percentage you've traveled on the road at that moment. For example, if I am on Smith Rd. and will travel on that road for 5 miles before I turn left onto Jones St., on the screen it shows "Turn left in 5 miles onto Jones St.," plus it has a progress bar showing how many of the 5 miles you've traveled.

I was a simple upgrade (have your CD ready when you plug in the GPS device for the first time), and upon my first use it appears that they haven't fixed some of the bugs and annoyances in trying to find a restaurant or gas station. To illustrate this, if I wanted to find a gas station on my way home from work (15 mile ride), I could choose within so many miles of my current point or so many miles from the entire route. Let's say I'm half way home and decide to look for a gas station, I put 1 mile from my current point, and it looks at a one-mile radius of 5 miles ago?? (Bug, I suppose.) So instead, I put within 1/2 mile of my entire route. Then it lists all gas stations within 1/2 mile of my route (from beginning to end regardless of how far I am from the beginning) and organizes them by distance from my route (instead of how far I am from the station at the moment).

These observations are subject to change as I use the program some more and if I find that I'm doing something wrong. I will post more comments if I can in the future.

[UPDATE - 3/1/06] I continue to have usability problems trying to find places, such as restaurants. I got so frustrated trying to find an Applebee's on a trip lately that I used by cell phone as a modem for my laptop to use their website's locator. Microsoft, I hope you read this!

Overall, it is a big improvement if you want to keep using your Microsoft GPS module from 2005. Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 [OLD VERSION]

Last year I bought Street & Trips 2005 with the GPS package, and I wrote a review on that. If you refer to that review, there are some things that I am somewhat dissatisfied with the 2005 version. After spending many hours searching online and reading review and forum posts, it appears that the only software for laptop GPS navigation that provides all the function and capabilities that one would want or need at a reasonable price would be iGuidance 2.1.1, the one downside to it was that the software costs more than 4X the price of Microsoft's Streets & Trips, this prevented me from purchasing it. After a long wait, Microsoft (as expected) released the 2006 version of Streets & Trips, I read up on the new features and decided that combined with the price (after rebates), it would be a great deal.

On my previous review of the 2005 version, the one thing that I (and a lot of other people) felt that was missing was the voice navigation. It was extremely difficult to follow the small prints for the directions, combined with no voice guidance; it was dangerous to use it unless you have a passenger to help with the directions (which is kind of pointless). This new version solved that problem, combined with a modified interface; the voice guidance is finally on. It is so much easier to drive solo and use this software because combined with a large text field displaying the next action; the voice guidance is clear and easily repeated by pressing the spacebar. There is also a progress meter to show you how close you are to that next action (turn, exit, ect).

The first BIG gripe that I have with the voice nav is that it only says the action and not pronounce the road or exit you are turning into, thus for conformation, one would have to look at the large text plane to see the name of the road or exit number. This is what I don't get, the software uses Microsoft's own voice synthesizer to "speak", then why is it that it cannot at least try to pronounce the name of the road?

The second gripe that I have is that if you go off route, the software doesn't automatically reroute you, and there is no option to turn it on, so you would have to hit F3 for it to reroute.

Another gripe, not a major one, but still annoying is that fact that every single time you start the GPS tracking, the software pops up with a disclaimer about how unsafe it is to drive and operate the software at the same time. I guess this is necessary since software is still not very driver friendly.

All in all, Microsoft did try to alleviate a major problem of its previous version; however, I didn't feel that MS spent much time improving the software. I undoubtedly admit that the 2006 version is much improved, but I would have expected a greater improvement given that Microsoft has been producing Streets & Trips for numerous of years now.

For the price, I am glad with the improvements, however, if I could return it, I would spend the extra money for the iGuidance instead.

The bad news first: The map details are still not as good as were found in the 2004 version of this program. I can't understand why MS would dumb down their product. Also, the street names seem to have been dumbed down as well. For example, Golden Eagle Ferry Road has been reduced to Ferry Road. There are innumerable examples of this dumbing down and simpifying which only serves to confuse.

The good news: The GPS functionality has been vastly improved with voice and large visual prompts which make using the program in an automobile MUCH MUCH easier. The little car cursor in the 2005 version has been replaced by a much more visible circle with a large arrow in it indicating direction.

Despite the dumbing down of the actual map data the program remains a superb mapping program with many updates since the 2004 and 2005 versions. New streets, restaurants and other points of interest are now incorporated. This program offers a truly affordable GPS guidance system for nearly all consumers without having to go to the expensive Garmin or Magellan systems. If you find yourself traveling to points unknown I cannot imagine a better solution for getting around than this product in conjunction with your notebook.

A few comments about the Streets and Trips mapping software. I am familiar with the Delorme product and the Garmin product and Streets and Trips blows them both away - no contest. Instantaneous panning, zooming in and zooming out, outstanding routing software, and a plethora of other features makes Streets and Trips, by far, my favorite mapping software.

One problem I had, and hopefully this will help others who might encounter the same problem: Downloading the software into your computer does NOT automatically load the drivers for the GPS locator device! This must be done separately with the Setup disk when you first attach the locator device. Should you fail to put the Setup disk in and let your computer find the driver automatically ON THAT DISK, then your program will not recognize the locator! I wasted quite a bit of time trying to figure out what was wrong. If you don't add the drivers manually your device manager will automatically load drivers that will not be recognized by the program! I had to go into my Device Manager and uninstall the drivers that were added and then manually install the MS drivers for the GPS locator. Not an insurmountable problem, but it does require a bit of experience with computers.

The included driver software turns your USB port into a pseudo-serial communication port enabling the software to recognize the locator (only serial ports are recognized by the software). The software will not recognize the locator UNLESS it is attached to a serial (or in this case pseudo-serial) communications port. So be careful and follow the installation instructions closely. The locator is made by Pharos GPS and if you have any installation problems go to their web site for further instructions.

I heartily recommend this product however be aware of the minor software and driver glitches I've described above. All in all, I think you will be VERY pleased. - Cartography - Maps - Streets And Trips - Driving'

Digital Bathroom Scales - digital, weighing scale

We bought this scale as a basic bathroom scale for adults. In general, we like it.

Pros:

* Stylish construction

* Large digits are easy to read

* Calibration is simple and fast

Cons:

* Although the top surface seems like strong metal, the bottom feet that actually do the weighing are plastic and feel cheap. That said, we've never had a problem with the feet.

* Scale needs to be recalibrated every time you move it. Recalibration is very easy and fast (you simply tap the scale and let it adjust itself), so it shouldn't be a problem. But if you move it often, just be aware that you'll need to recalibrate. Taylor 7329 Electronic Lithium Scale

Maybe I got a bad scale but mine was not accurate at all. You could weigh and then weigh again and the weight would vary by at least 5 lbs. Maybe the other reviewers who found it accurate are smaller people but at my weight (210 lbs) the accuracy was not good. I returned this item.

I hate to be a party pooper but this scale was not consistent at all.

I tried it 7 different days and got fed up with the fact that it's readings would be all over the place. One time for example the reading was more than 5 lbs different from the previous use. Yes I calibrated it before each use. Because it never gave consistent readings I say it is not accurate. I don't think I am being too hard but I expect much closer readings than it had. It is very small but I knew that and that didn't affect my rating.

I returned it an bought a Tanita HD 351 here and am quite happy with it.

However it is nearly 4 times the price of this one which may lose it a lot of sales. But as the old saw goes you get what you pay for. Mostly.

I am happy for those that like the Taylor, that's terrific. Unfortunately the one I received was not worth a higher rating.

When I first got it it looked to be a good buy for the money. Worked well for about a month before breaking. It just stopped working one day. I did not drop it or otherwise cause damage to it that I know of. It worked one day, the next it didn't. Now all it displays is either "0.0" or "Err". Save your money avoid this scale.

I went on it several times and it show the same weight (sometimes some weights are always off by 3-5 lbs.) It is very light-weight to carry and perfect size to fit any where in any rooms. Also, very thin which you can put upright against a wall to hind it away for company. Great scale, highly recommend.

I am very happy with this purchase. It does the job and I like that you can jump right on it rather than doing a tap first. As far as the weight fluctuating thing. It's good to keep in mind that your body weight naturally fluctuates through out the day and can be as much as five pounds. The best thing to do is to weigh yourself every day at the same time. The most accurate body weight is when you first wake up. There is no need to keep weighing yourself several times a day. I would recommend. It is very stylish and blends in with the bathroom decor.

scale is pretty light, so easy to move around. It does need to be on a hard surface to work. It would give you an error if set on a carpeted surface. It's not the most fancy looking scale, but it'll be fine for the bathroom. The lithium battery is included. I would prefer the reading field and number to be bigger since I'm nearsighted.

Just like some other reviewers, this scale worked well for about a month, and then just quit. It read only "o-o-o" and then 0.0, which is what it did before it gave you your weight. However, one day it just stopped at 0.0 and went no farther. I tried the recommended reset from the company's website. That didn't work. I tried contacting the company and received no response.

Lousy customer support. Taylor must think it has enough customers it doesn't have to worry about losing one. - Digital - Weighing Scale - Digital Bathroom Scales - Accurate'

Best Dress Sock - best dress sock, hanes

If you were previously a briefs wearer before trying out these Comfortsoft Hanes Boxerbriefs, I can see why you may be fussy about the "support" in your underwear products; but for Boxer Shorts wearers wanting to snuggly fit into tighter jeans without the over-supportive feel- or (with boxers) the sudden bagging up, Hanes has found a way to make boxer briefs more boxer than briefs. In addition these are great for saggers, and make your butt more fluently attractive to the ladies without feeling like you're dressed for a WWE wrestling match. The reason why the price is so low is that Hanes is practically the highest selling underwear, t-shirt and clothing brand in the World.

However if you're looking for support:

Medium Support (Support with comfort):

C-IN2

Firm Support:

Calvin Klein

Puma Hanes ComfortSoft Boxer Brief (Pack of 4) - Medium, Assorted Colors

The whole point of boxer briefs is to offer support and comfort while staying in place. Hanes products only do this for a short period of time before the legs become loose and the boxer briefs turn into regular boxers. I got so tired of this problem that I just bought all boxers because there was no point in wearing boxer briefs anymore. I would recommend boxer briefs made by Old Navy, Under Armour, and Nautica over Hanes. You may pay a bit more, but it's worth it.

I concur with the other reviewer, the legs on these become loose very quickly. I noticed it after only two washings and one wearing. I'm going to hold on to mine, because they are fine for "looser" work clothing, but I'm looking for another brand for "going out" wear.

There's a difference in quality depending on color. The black ones are nice, thick, last long and doesn't get loose during use! The other colors however, seems to be produced in a different manner and gets loose during the day and stays loose after multiple uses. If Hanes sold just the black ones, I'd pay extra for them. Plus, the black ones look the best by far. It's hard to find a good pair of boxer briefs :o(

The ComfortSoft waistband is nice also, which I have not found an equal for. Other types or brands have that usual elastic waistband, that doesn't look nearly as nice.

Hanes, please sell packs of all Black Boxer Briefs for cheap! Otherwise, please some other company do it!!

I ordered these Boxer Briefs last year on Amazon.com and I just re-ordered some more because they are really comfortable and do "their job". I have big legs and these Boxer Briefs are just the right fit.

My husband is in Iraq and I had these shipped directly to him. I asked him about them the other days and he said he "loves 'em" Colors were good (and manly) and they're super comfy. Thanks for "supporting my troop" :)

These are my favorite type of Boxer Briefs. The waistband is smooth and one piece with the rest of the trunks, hardly a seam at all. The tag information is just printed on the trunks too, keeping the amount of uncomfortable itchy things to an absolute minimum. I order a package every month because I just can't have enough colors of these.

The boxers are decent. The cut is okay. I ordered the size corresponding to my waist but they are still slightly big on me. I prefer a tighter fit. Still, they look okay.

I do like them better than http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PHOGRQ/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img though. - Underwear - Hanes - Boxer - Best Dress Sock'

Bosch Wiper Blades - bosch, razor blade

I ordered the Bosch 19" and 21" wipers for my 2002 Honda Civic as a part of a Buy One Bosch Blade Get One Free [...]. I probably would've never considered trying Bosch windshield blades otherwise, but I'm so happy I did.

With my previous blades that I got during an oil change at a quick-lube shop, I got a lot of streaking and squeaking whenever I used them. Every time I encountered a rain storm, I had to abide the same consistent, annoying noise if I didn't want to compromise my own safety. It was very difficult to bear.

Even after I pulled the trigger on buying the blades, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to install them on my car because of my lack of automotive know-how. When they came, however, my worries went away. The Bosch blade package showed me how to remove my old blades and how to install the new ones. It was a piece of cake. The only problem? They came individually in two separate boxes that were HUGE. What a waste of packing material, Amazon! :(

Back to the blades: How do they function? Beautifully! I streamed washer fluid onto my windshield and it cleaned it away with no streaking and no noise whatsoever.

What better testimonial can I give than I decided to buy another pair for my partner? They work wonderfully - get them now! Bosch 4822 Evolution All-Season Bracketless Wiper Blade - 22"

I've had these about 2 weeks on a Chevy Tahoe and they work great, the only problem is that the passenger-side blade lacks enough "spring" to follow the contour of the windshield, leaving the outermost 2 inches of the blade with virtually no contact with the glass. I'm hoping that as they age a little the rubber wiper will settle in and lower itslef closer to the glass, but who knows...

Most new cars come with spring-less wipers from the manufacturer. If that's the case I don't think this makes much sense to get these.

If you have an older model car that uses spring-loaded wipers that doesn't do much more than smudging water back-and-forth on your windshield, these wipers are a substantial upgrade. I first bought them for my 2001 RAV4 and replaced only one wiper just to compare side-by-side and it's like seeing half the windshield is squeaky-clean and the other half feels like looking through someone else's eyeglass. The difference is so dramatic you don't need to have the results side-by-side to know there's a huge difference. After that I bought a pair for my 2005 S2000 as well. Same great results compared against the factory spring-loaded wipers.

In combination with applying RainX to the windshield, the result is very similar a brand new car off the dealer's lot. RainX helps the wiping during low speed, and it also has the added benefit of not needing the wipers much at high speeds. I would say these wipers contribute 80% and RainX 20%.

One word of warning is that though the bracket of these wipers come fairly curved in its natural position, it may not fit the the curviest of windshields like a glove. My S2000 windshield outcurves these brackets at the extreme end on the passenger side. That means in wiper off position the last inch or two of the wiper is not touching the winshield. Only after the wiper moves up a few inches does it fully come in contact. In reality this does not affect my visibility from the driver's seat at all. Hence it's a full five-star rating from me despite this.

I live in Seattle with frequent rain, but no snow. So this review does not extend to how well they work in below-freezing weather. See other reviewers' comments regarding snow.

I recently installed 2 sets of these wipers on both my F150 and my wife's Explorer. After an ice storm and 2 snow storms we both decided these wipers are dissapointing at best. These contoured blades are supposed to maintain contact with the windshield in snowy conditions. Well, neither one of us found this to be true. We both spent more time on the side of the road, cleaning the ice/snow off of these, hoping they'd maintain contact with the glass. On my set, after a few times of banging the ice/snow off the blade, the little plastic covers kept opening up. I noticed when I removed these (only 4 weeks old) that 3 of the 4 covers were missing.

Don't be fooled by their cleaner appearance or by their advertising, these are not worth the money.

I purchased a couple of Bosh Evolution wipers in june '08 for a Mitsubishi Lancer. Here's my review:

SHIPPING:

Amazon states that "This item must be shipped separately from other items in your order", so Amazon shipped each blade in it's own big, bulky box. I had to pay double for shipping, which doesn't make sense and is completely wasteful and annoying.

INSTALLATION: The wipers are "universal", so the're designed to fit many cars and include an adaptor for "J" type wiper arms. However, there's no way I could have known beforehand if they would have fit the wiper arms of my car (but I guess "universal" really fits all).

I recall one of these adaptors has a latch that was a little loose.

The graphic instructions are printed on the back of the packaging and I found the blades very easy to install.

PERFORMANCE:

The factory installed wipers on my car had brackets and after 1 year they had started streaking the glass. This bracketless idea WORKS, because the streaks eventually dissappeared.

But wiping the water is what you want these for, and here's a dissappointment.

The wipers work well when they're doing the upward motion. However, after they reach their uppermost position (when the driver's wiper is completely vertical), the wind starts pushing the water inwards (towards the blade of the wiper in front of driver) instead of outwards. The water "builds" on the side of the blade and when the wiper is doing the downward motion, it "sprinkles" the windshield back with water... right in the line of view. And that is VERY annoying, especially if they cost like 4 or 5 times more than the regular ones.

ENDURANCE:

These have lasted almost a year, but I expect them to last at least another one. I have no idea what kind of maintenance these require or will require, because they have this new graphite coating and I believe I might have rubbed it off when I cleaned them with a cloth after installing them. Alas, they're working fine right now. - Wiper Blades - Windshield Wipers - Bosch - Razor Blade'

Workout Towel - non-slip, yoga towel

I purchased this towel because I needed an affordable, but absorbent hand towel for hot yoga. I did not want to spend the money on the expensive yogitoes version and decided to give this one a try. It wicks away sweat with ease and dries very quickly. I'm glad I chose this towel over a more expensive brand. Gaiam Small Thirsty Towel

I really love this towel! I use it everyday for hot yoga and it's held up great for months. It stays odor-free. It's large enough to cover the entire face in one wipe, and it's soft and cuddly and a pleasure to wipe with. The color hasn't faded even with frequent washings, and the thick absorbent towel will probably last several more years. There are absolutely no pulls or fraying in the towel at all. It's so strong that sometimes I even use it in place of a strap. Can't go wrong with this one.

This small-size towel is perfect for my Yoga sessions. I can roll it up to support my neck, fold it to cushion an ankle or knee, and place it beyond my mat to keep my hands off the dirty floor during forward bends. It washes and dries well, and it comes in attractive colors. Oh, yes - it doesn't skid around.

I feel weird about this towel. Here's why.

Let me start by saying that I lift weights and do cardio almost every day, and my time at the gym is 3-4 hours, so I sweat A LOT. My normal white hand towel always "fills up" with sweat before I'm done working out, so I decided to try this towel to see if it was any better.

So here's my assessment: It absorbs great. It never "fills up" with sweat. Therefore I never feel that I've used up all the dry spots. It's a great size for the gym. I can easily toss it over my shoulder and move from exercise to exercise without it getting in the way. I can toss it over the hand rail of any cardio machine and it's long enough that it doesn't fall off. The color is cool. It looks good. It dries fast... You'd think that would be more than enough to deserve 5 stars. But it's not.

The reason? Well, it just doesn't feel good when I wipe my skin. It's a little hard to describe, but basically, it doesn't glide smoothly. It's by no means rough or scratchy. It just seems to catch ever so slightly to my skin and I personally don't like how it feels.

Bottom line is that all the other reviews are correct about this item; it is a great towel. But for some reason, I'm sensitive to how this towel feels and I personally don't like it at all. Only one other review here shares my opinion, so if I were you, I'd buy it and try it. If you don't like it, return it. That's what I'm going to do.

This towel is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a small, absorbent towel that I could use while exercising, and I wanted something I could wash with my workout clothes- which are all dark colored. The white towels microfiber towels pick up color easily, and I knew that they would soon turn grey if I tried to wash them with dark clothing.

The towel is a great size for hanging around my neck without being obtrusive, and it can more than handle my workout sweat. I bought one, then bought two more after I received it and tried it out, so I can always have a fresh one.

This towel has a strange texture, but I have gotten used to it. If you can get past the texture, it's a great towel. It absorbs a lot of sweat for its size, and I think the price is really reasonable compared to other yoga towels.

I don't understand the comments of other reviews about the towel leaving "fuzzies" behind on their skin? Perhaps they were using it before washing it for the first time (not sure), but I haven't had any such problems at all. The towel is very soft and absorbant and I've washed it plenty and it keeps it color (not that I care what color my sweat towel is anyway), so I don't understand those comments on here either.

I think this towel does a great job and at a great price!

After reading some of those reviews before buying this towel, I was worried--but I let the majority of the reviews rule and purchased it. I have no idea what the negative comments are all about because that has not been my experience. - Towel - Non-slip - Yoga Towel - Gaiam'

Led Backlight - g110, illuminated keyboard

I bought this keyboard right when it came out. The first thing I noticed was the setup is basically like the G19 without the LCD. The build is solid. It is a fairly thin keyboard, compared to the bulkiness that added by keyboards with video panels.

Pros

- no ghosting in the wasd area or one key beside each

- no ghosting of the arrow keys

- many configurable buttons

- macro capability

- LED backlighting, blue - red and purple tones

- detachable palm rest

- USB and Audio jacks

Cons

- LED backlighting must be blue, red, or colors inbetween... no white.

- Long, might be a few more buttons than I will ever use. Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110

I use my computer for business, video editing, and way too much World of Warcraft. I was using a wireless HP keyboard, but got fed up with its erratic performance and decided to spring for a wired keyboard that would support everything I wanted it to do. After spending a long time looking at all the usual suspects in the gaming keyboard world I'd kind of decided I couldn't find exactly what I wanted - a fully functioning keyboard suitable for both text entry, media, and gaming. After trying out the G15 at a local big box store and finding the keys to be too crowded to type comfortably on, I started looking at just that aspect of the boards and it seemed like all the gaming boards suffered the same flaw. Then I came across a review somewhere that said the G110 and G19 had a more traditional layout - I couldn't think of any legitimate use I would have for the LCD, so decided to give the 110 a shot.

Setting up was easy, as was keybinding the extra function keys. But what really impressed me was that the keys are spaced almost identically to the standard 101 keyboard on my office. If you're also concerned about that piece, rest assured this one is laid out fine.

My only complaints are that even with the feet down, the keyboard lays too flat for my liking and when typing a lot it puts my wrists at kind of a funky, uncomfortable angle. I think it's probably a function of the height of my desk relative to my chair, so your mileage may vary. Pretty easy to work around either way, though, by just propping it on something that puts it at a more comfortable angle.

Also, the lighting is a bit patchy as others have said - on mine, the text in the tab, cap lock, and other large keys are dimmed out at the top, but it's not really an issue. I'd also like to have control over the brightness of the lighting, and the option for just white.

Finally, the onboard headset volume works independently from the volume control wheel on the board, so you can't actually adjust the volume there - not sure it's adjustable at all, actually. Also, for some reason the headset port doesn't work at all in Warcraft, so it's not really a usable feature for me, unless I can figure out some sort of work around.

All in all, though, it's a great keyboard if you want both gaming and text entry functionality, and definitely at the right price point.

I picked up this keyboard for on-line gaming, as my original keyboard key were starting to stick and causing problems. The back lighting is a nice feature, but is just a sales gimmick and not really required for use. While I can't vouch for the response time for key strokes, I have do not have nay complaints either. The macro keys are one of the biggest reasons I purchased this unit, which are super easy to use. My biggest and perhaps only complaint is that the keys are actually smaller than those on a standard size keyboard. I guess they did this to fit the macro keys and still keep the over all size the same as a standard unit. The reduction in key size places the keys out of their normal positions, so I am constantly hitting the wrong keys. This would be the perfect keyboard if they had only kept the keys normal sized and just enlarged the overall size of the unit as required to fit all the keys.

I spent two weeks reading through the customer reviews of several different backlit keyboards on Amazon, Newegg and Google Shopping before finally purchasing the g110. This is my first backlit keyboard and even though I'm not a gamer, I am very picky - especially when it comes to dropping $50+ on a keyboard. Overall I think the g110 is great with only a couple of minor quirks.

Pros:

* Solid construction. This keyboard is thick, heavy and well-built.

* Feet are padded and I was actually surprised at how well they hold the keyboard in place and keep it from sliding around.

* Keys are quiet and silky smooth to the touch. Key travel distance is basically the same as a standard keyboard, not shallow like a laptop.

* Key layout is the same as a standard keyboard, not condensed or jumbled like mini-keyboards.

* Programmable keys. Nice feature but I am not a gamer so this isn't a big plus for me. Maybe I will find use for it in the future.

* Removable wrist pad. This is a big plus for me. I don't understand why some keyboards have a built-in non-removable wrist pad taking up desk space.

* Backlighting is very nice and fun to use at night. Lighted keys are easy to read in the dark.

* Backlight colors: some reviews have said there are only 3 colors. This is not accurate. You get to choose from the entire gamut of color between red, blue and black. Black in this case means the light is dim, so adding black to red will produce a dimmed red instead of the standard bright red. The Logitech software will render a color box on your screen and allow you to select a color similar to how you would choose a brush color in Photoshop. Search Photobucket for 'g110 color' for a screenshot of the color selection box.

Cons:

* The letters, numbers and symbols on the keys are *tiny*. Check the screenshot of this keyboard to see what I mean. If you have poor eyesight and plan to do much typing in the dark, you may need eyeglasses.

* Some keys are not backlit evenly. Despite being micro-sized, some symbols and letters are not backlit completely and look somewhat ghosted. This lends a feeling of shoddy craftsmanship to the overall good quality of this keyboard.

* The F-keys are half the size of F-keys on a standard keyboard. Check the keyboard screenshot to see what I mean.

* There is something very subtly wrong about the overall typing experience on this keyboard. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but the keys do not feel normal as compared to a standard keyboard. Even though the g110 has a standard keyboard layout, it does not have a standard keyboard feel. I think perhaps the key faces are slightly smaller than normal and thus feel different. Or perhaps the keys themselves are placed slightly closer together. Like I said, it's very subtle and thus difficult to explain.

* The placement of the G-keys is extremely annoying to me, although I can see how they would be helpful to a gamer. My left hand normally rests on the left edge of the keyboard, and from this position i can easily find Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Tab, Caps Lock, etc without looking. The G-keys on the g110 now force me to look at the keyboard because my fingers cannot find the keyboard edge. I am seriously considering taking a hacksaw to this section of the keyboard and moving it about 3 inches back toward the F-keys.

Conclusion:

Despite all the quirks, this is a pretty solid keyboard that allows me to type in the dark which is exactly what I wanted.

Notes for Win 7 x64 users:

* You might need to download the 64-bit driver from Logitech's website instead of using the supplied disk. I did not even bother with the supplied drivers after reading the Logitech forums and all the people having various problems. I instead downloaded the Win 7 64-bit driver directly from the Logitech website, and everything worked beautifully. - Illuminated Keyboard - G110 - Logitech - Lighted Keyboard'
