9 99 Boycott

I agree with the bit on the cover of this book where it says that this is not an easy read. For me, it has not been, and not just because the truths Schlichter spells out and explains are so not-easy to take. I am a huge fan of his, and have been ever since I first heard him talk about the analysis in this book in London about a year ago, but he makes me work hard. This book is heavy on logical exposition, much lighter on diverting anecdote. For the latter sort of Schlichter stuff, you must read his blog.

One way to describe Paper Money Collapse might be to say that it is the sort of book that the great Austrian School economist and economic historian Murray Rothbard might have written, had he lived a bit longer. Last year I read Rothbard's Man, Economy and State. While doing this, I kept hoping that I would read a theoretical analysis of our current financial woes, as opposed merely to Rothbard's general take on Austrian Economics as a whole. I realise that this was a lot to ask of a book published several decades ago, and not surprisingly I was, although in general much educated, largely disappointed on that particular count. Well, what I was only hoping to read in that Rothbard book was what I did read in Detlev Schlichter's much shorter book, which I heartily recommend to anyone willing to really get stuck into it. Here is a conceptual analysis, in very much the painstaking Rothbard manner, of how non-commodity-backed currencies behave when they collapse, and why they do collapse, always, inevitably. In other words it is about the times we now live in.

I learned a lot from reading Paper Money Collapse. In particular, Schlichter has convinced me of the wrongness of the argument that since we want economic activity in the world to increase indefinitely, but gold is, barring a few trivial further discoveries, fixed in quantity, gold won't work as the basis of currency. But non-elasticity is exactly why gold is such a good basis for currency. Totally elastic money, on the other hand, inevitably collapses, always and everywhere. Why should our elastic money be any different?

Schlichter is not pointing the finger at individuals. This is not a detective story, where in the final chapter all the suspects are rounded up and Herr Schlichter points the finger at the guilty man. President Nixon's decision to break the final link between the dollar and gold is deplored, and Ben Bernanke's recent pronouncements are likewise disapproved of, but many of the decisions that lead to our current mess were made many, many decades ago, and by their nature they are the kind of decisions which are far easier to make than they are to reverse and clean up after.

Nor does Schlichter believe that hyper-inflation now threatens us all because central bankers are unaware of the badness of hyper-inflation. They know that hyper-inflation is bad. Unfortunately, they also know that if the collapse that Schlichter describes occurs while they are in office, then that, for them, will be even worse than a bit more inflation or even quite a lot more inflation. So, they carry on printing money and postponing the resolution of the problem, which means that when nemesis does finally arrive, it will be all the worse. But, says Schlichter, they know what they are doing; they just don't know how to stop. Schlichter telling them to stop will accomplish nothing.

I suspect that Schlichter may be being rather kind about just how plain stupid some even quite high ranking central bankers now are, but clever or stupid, these people are now thoroughly boxed in by their previous decisions and by the decisions of their predecessors of earlier years and decades.

I have been using the phrase "paper money", as Schlichter himself does in his title. But as we all know, when central bankers now create yet more money, they are mostly putting numbers in electronically managed bank accounts. It is not the printing of bank notes that is the problem; it is the lack of a commodity base to control the process. By the same token, paper bank notes that refer to a currency that is solidly based on something like gold would be fine. But I am sure that Schlichter has thought long and hard about this phrase, and I gladly defer to his decision to call it "paper currency" in his title. I certainly don't know a better way of putting it. "Fiat" money? "Elastic" money? (That's the phrase that Schlichter switches to in the subtitle, also prominently displayed on the front cover.) Both are a bit more accurate than "paper" money, but are also a bit less attention-grabbing for the kind of intelligent and educated everyman whom Schlichter is trying to reach. "Paper" gets over the gist of the problem pretty well, I think. And you start learning what that means as soon as you read the sub-title.

When it comes to Schlichter's pessimism about him personally having any influence on the conduct of public policy, I agree with him, in the short run. But I think he may be proved wrong, in the longer run. I agree with him that there is nothing much he can say to the people now in charge of financial policy that will persuade them to do the right thing now, which basically means getting the collapse over and done with as soon as possible. But when this collapse starts seriously happening anyway, in just the manner and for precisely the reasons that Schlichter says, he could then become a very Big Cheese, as we say in my native England. In fact, if this book does half as well as I suspect it may, Schlichter will probably be accused, by various paper (fiat, elastic) money idiots who know only the title of this book but nothing of what it says, of having precipitated the catastrophe he describes. But other people, including politicians and central bankers, could also then be asking him: So, Schlichter, what the hell do we do now? I urge Schlichter to be ready for this moment. Suggested title for his next book: Now What? (Presumed answer: Let non-state controlled and non-state backed bankers supply currency, which they will back with gold. Get out of their way and let them get on with it.)

Meanwhile, I urge anyone who thinks that he might find this book enlightening, and helpful for personally navigating through the mess, to go ahead and be enlightened. I think this book may become very big. It certainly deserves to. Paper Money Collapse: The Folly of Elastic Money and the Coming Monetary Breakdown'

Highly Recommend - great price, recommend

This winch kit is a great value. My only complaint would be that the two wires running from the regulator to the winch motor could be a foot or so longer. I mounted the regulator in the storage box under the seat and had to splice a foot or more of #8 wire to make my connections on the motor. Other than that everything seems of very good quality and it should give me years of trouble free operation. Superwinch 1120210 ATV LT2000 Series Winch

A nice package at a nice price.

Pros: It does everything that I bought it for: getting an atv out of the mud.

Cons: 1)The wires leading from the solenoid to the winch are at least a foot too short as other reviewers have stated. Expect to pay for connectors, ends, and at least another foot of 8 gauge wire. 2)The snatch block that is included will require wrenches to take apart and thread. Not a great thing when you are stuck in the mud, so while I was at the hardware store picking up the above parts, I picked up a new bolt, washer and wingnut. 3)The winch is a bit loud but I wasn't expecting it to be quiet.

All in all not a bad investment for the money, just don't be surprised if you have to take a trip to the hardware store. I had a hard time finding connectors and ends for 8 gauge wire and they were expensive (3$ a piece +-).

Recieved item and had installed professionaly. Unit would only retrieve would not allow to run out under power called superwinch ( They told me switched wires around unit now work in the other direction they told me bad solenoid)They said it's a known probem with the solenoid relay. They gave me a part number and to me to visit local dealer for exchange could not find a local Amazon. Un believable brand new did not work stay away do your research before buying this item.

returning to Amazon bougt a Warn winch instead

I bought this for my 2006 Suzuki Eiger 400 ATV.

I had to split the installation into two sessions because of time.

My first session I installed the winch and that went pretty easy.

The second session took a bit longer because I wanted to make sure that the wiring piece of the install would go smoothly.

It did, but here's a hint, lay it all out FIRST, then install. That way when it doesn't quite fit one way, you'll have a plan B to fall back on.

Anyway I bought this so I could operate my plow, and works like a charm. Good price too.

I wasn't sure as to what I was getting exactly after I had ordered this. I was a little worried with how cheap it was compared to other brands, but if you don't try it you won't know right?

Pros:

*comes with everything needed to wire up

*well worded instruction with pictures to backup

Cons:

*wish the main lead cables were about a foot longer

Good installation instructions, works great pulling stuck 2wd four wheeler out of mud, also used a block and pulled out some yuopon bushes without any overheating or breakage, definetly need to follow instructions to preserve cable with grease.

I had one of these on my 08 Kawi Brute Force 750i. I say had because I went into some deep water and smoked the relays for the switch. I ended up with a fancy non working attachment and removed it. I will say that while it was installed it worked well and took a good bit of abuse. Pulled trees down with it, cleared trails with it, pulled a CanAm DS650, buried seat deep in sand out with nothing more than the winch's own power.

It's a good unit. Mount the black box high or seal it in something cause when it gets full of water and you hit that button you'll hear a light POP and that's it...game over. I tried to find new relays to just repair it but came up empty and scrapped it. The leads are short as others have said. A good stereo shop will sell you bulk wire for a DIY install. There is no good place to mount the box on a stock Kawi Brute with no storage boxes. It doesn't fit under the seat.

I bought this for myself at Christmas. Fit in a 2007 Suzuki Vinson 500 4x4 just fine and I built my own heavy duty mount plate. Found out the ATV was prewired for a winch in front and back but used the supplied kit. As others have said the main wires from the solenoid to the winch in front are too short so I used the #8 from the factory wires to make up the difference. The only major problem is the small black solenoid wire needs to go to a ground and not the fuse as the instructions say. Whoever wrote those has never used them. After purchased I learned the a permanent magnet such as superwinch is suspect to burnout unlike a series magnet used in the Warn winches. I'm not a winch expert but for the $87 it cost me I'll let it cool if it gets too hot.

I purchased this winch after reviewing the price and reviews and so far have been impressed. I mounted it on a CanAm Outlander Max 800 (which is a heavy ATV). On my first trip out after mounting it, I got stuck in a deep and rutted hole where the only exit was straight up over a 4-5 foot lip, and the only anchor was 90 degrees to my left and at the very end of my line length. The winch pulled me out without trouble. Well worth the $70 purchase price, especially with the mounting kit, roller fairlead and pulley clevice.

I got one of these winches, and it is a great ATV winch. Plenty of power for any job, and easy to use. You can buy it with or without accessories (this item comes with accessories). I recommend that you get it with the accessories as doing so will save you a good amount of money. If using it with an ATV, you will need to get a seperate mounting place. To find the mounting plate you need, go to www.superwinch.com and then to the ATV section. Their technical support people are very good as well. I'm so happy with my winch, that I'm going to get another one for my wife's ATV! In other words, "A winch for a wench!" Just kidding. Expanding File Jackets - plastic folders, file

It is truly a five-star product. It isn't the best of expanding files out there. But for ~$5, it tops many at its price range. It has excellent quality, and even premade inserts for nearly every subject you could think of (maybe 16-18) and month and alphabet inserts (a-c, Jan.-March) I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a quality product at a cheap price who needs a quick one. For those that'd like a better one, that'll take time and a bit more money than this. But for me, a student, it is perfect. Five Star Student Expanding File, Black (72391)

I like the color. It is lovely and like the picture shown. I thought the 6-pocket design would be good because I don't need too many categories, but it is not like that. As soon as I put my stuff in I can hardly close the lid. And even if I pushed and closed it would still slip and open a bit because the lid is too short and the elastic closure is not tight enough to hold it.

This is just what I needed to get organized. I have six classes and this folder is great for keeping my syllabi and handouts organized. It even comes with pre-printed labels for the tabs with various subjects on them. I am very pleased with this folder.

This folder is perfect. I'm a college student, so I'm glad I could get all of my subjects together in one folder. True to Five Star's name and reputation, I can tell that it should last a while no matter how much it gets stuffed. Great buy.

This expanding file is great. Once a term starts (College), I buy one and use it for all my classes. I store my old notes, old exams, old material, etc there. When I have an exam, paper, or final coming up, I open that baby up and I can find all my material. This holds a lot of paper. Highly recommended for college students and others who are looking to store their papers without loosing it.

This expanding folder seems well-constructed, provides plenty of room for flat items in the various sections and the elastic closure keeps the vinyl "envelope" securely closed so that you can keep keys or other small, flat items in it and they don't fall out. I recommend this item.

This expanding files is an excellent organizing tool, and I purchase a new file for each new semester. Amazon shipped the product speedily. (The online photo looks fuchsia, but the actual folder is red.)

The first folder I purchased was a $4 one from Walmart. That lasted a few days before it started to rip. This lasted a week before the first rip but it was a small rip that didn't compromise the use of the folder. The Walmart one completely fell apart. This is still holding up and I am glad I bought it. - Plastic Folders - Expanding File - File - Project Folders'

License Plate Cover - cruiser accessories, car accessories

I don't own this license plate cover.. be advised that even a clear cover over the license plate is illegal in California. (CVC 5200) This tinted one likely obscures the plate from photo enforced traffic lights; plus police officers aim for the plate with their LIDAR speed guns depending upon the 980 nanometer IR laser to reflect with a Doppler frequency shift. They will spot a covered plate in a hurry. Cruiser Accessories Tuf-Shield Smoke Flat License Plate

Just off the bat here, I'm not really sure why someone would buy this product JUST to "protect" their licence plate. When I'm driving, the last thing I'm worried about damaging is my licence plate. Most people, like me, buy this product to make the appearance of their licence plate darker so it looks better on a full black car. This does the job very nicely, and I'm sure it will protect my licence plate well.

I've seen other tinted shields, and they were not as dark as this one. I took the rear one off and left the front one on. Depending on how bored the cops are they'll either pull you over for it or not, more likely they will at bar time or late at night as it is illegal here. I don't know if I'd buy another one. Also, if you're plate is attached with machine screws, this plate cover will require it's own bracket - which was not in the description - but was on the package when I received it. It works on my front plate as it is mounted with like a wood screw, but my back plate is a machiine screw - was not long enough to safely mount it and the plate.

This product is as described and is very nice looking. It fits flush on top of your license place and is made with very durable material. I would also suggest buying the cruiser license plate screws that are rust proof so you won't have rust running down your newly bought tuf-shield!

As advertised, these covers ar tough (I've been through the Bell and retail versions that always crack), and are low profile (with a lip which your tag will fit into). MUCH better quality than I could find at Wal Mart/NAPA (tried both and theirs cracked). A little more money gets you a product that's gonna last and will protect your special plates!! - Cruiser Accessories - Great - Covers - Car Accessories'

Hidden Arch Supports

I find this product super nice to use in my sandals, but they started to look gross after awhile. The edges got black and the clear support turned a greyish color. If you don't mind people seeing that, though, they are quite nice. Foot Petals Amazing Arches, Black 1 pr

I bought one pair to try in a pair of high heels that I love, but having a high arch, the shoes just don't give me the support I need. The supports were so comfortable that after one wearing, I ordered 10 more pairs from Amazon to put in my other shoes. Since I have a high arch, I never get enough arch support in my shoes, but the Dr. Scholls plastic/gel supports are too big and hard. I thought these foam supports might be just the ticket for my feet, and they were perfect. I don't understand the reviews that say they are too big. I wear a size 7.5 and they are perfect. If your feet hurt from not getting quite the support they need, definitely try these arch supports!

These are amazing. I have high arches and my feet get really sore from not having the support they need. I am soooo comfortable now and I don't have to toss shoes out because they hurt my feet.

I did not find them too big but I wear a 9 1/2.

I'm here online to order 5 more pairs!

I agree with the other reviewers that these are too big. I bought them to put in my sandals. In order for them to do the job I had to cut them, but they work now so I'm happy with it. Maybe they would fit better in tennis shoes or boots?

My intention was to combine it with Lumiscope Arch Easer which is a slip on. Strategically placing them where I needed to most support, since a significant arch is what I am lacking. I thought they worked out very well. Now I just have to figure out how I can permanently attach them without compromising the extra support they offer. I think the petals work if you use them in the right area your foot needs it the most.

These arch support/cushion are just too large. They go under my whole foot and are useless as arch support. They are very uncomfortable as they just don't fit. I have never worn them except to try them out.'

These glasses serve a purpose. The make 3D movies, 3D.

When I put them on, I see 3D images. So they work!

Also, I wear glasses, as does my son. They fit nicely above the prescription glasses, so that's a plus!

Each pair also comes with a cleaning cloth to help keep them clean.

I have about 12 pair. LG AG-F210 Cinema 3D Glasses for 2011 LG 3D LED HDTVs (2-Pack)

Nice and light, and still work great. I'd like them to have a little better "build". They feel a little cheap but they are only $15 and I got 10 pairs free with my new LG 3D TV. There are 2 sets of glasses in each box.

Glasses work well using LG's 2D to 3D conversion. Still haven't used with a native 3D video, but looking forward to it when I get a 3D player (I'll update when I do-around Thanksgiving or Christmas I expect). They are light and comfortable and a great price so that many friends can come over and enjoy the experience together, Thanks LG!

When 3D tv's first started to show up in stores, I was not impressed mainly because one had to wear active glasses to enjoy the 3D experience. These glasses run on rechargeable batteries, and cost over fifty dollars. Anyone watching had to be inline with the infrared beam emitted from the tv, if you turn away the glasses go dark, very annoying. So when I heard about LG's passive 3D technology, I ran to the store. I was amazed by the 3D picture, and very happy that the glasses were polarized just like the ones you get in movie theaters. These LG cinema glasses are light weight and very comfortable. They come two in a box with a pouch to store them in, and a cleaning cloth. Most importantly is the cost, for the same money you can have 10 pairs of polarized glasses to one pair of active glasses.

Pros. Light weight-inexpensive-no battery- no flicker

Cons. None - Wireless Network'

Cookbook

This wonderful book is packed with delicious recipes that are good for you too. The book starts out with 10 tips to make your smoothie it's best. Then fruit and vegetable glossaries describe each fruit, its nutritional value and its health benefits. There is also a thorough explanation on fruit and vegetable preparation. Other ingredients used such as peanut butter and milk products as well as additives like wheat grass are also discussed in detail. A seasonal fruit chart and a brief overview of essential nutrients are nice bonusesThere are recipes for almost anything including energy, weight control, PMS, hot flashes, morning sickness, anemia, libido, bone building, stress and even some that boost your immune system when you get sick. There are also special sections for kids and men. Conveniently, each recipe contains complete nutritional information. My favorite recipes are the constants craving, grape escape and protein jolt. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to make quick, easy, nutritious meals without cooking. Super Smoothies: 50 Recipes for Health and Energy

I bought my blender last year and used it exactly once, before I bought this book, that is. Now with a whole collection of delicious and nutricious blender drinks to make, hardly a day goes by that the blender doesn't get a workout! The concept of smoothies is ideal for a single working person with little time to cook dinner because of long hours. And the best thing is it is healthy!

Being a bonafide smoothie addict, I can say that this is the best book of smoothie recipes I've ever run across. As a small size smoothie at the mall costs $2.25, this book pays for itself in no time at all and is worth every cent. I loved the breakdown of nutritional values which is very helpful for anyone watching their calorie intake. The variety is spectacular with inclusion of even vegetable recipes. If you're looking for a good change of pace in your diet, definitely try out these delicious recipes. You won't be disappointed!

The authors' write, "It's hard to imagine what smoothies would be without bananas." I say "TRY!" Nearly half the 50 recipies in the book have banana in them, so unless you are a major banana fan (which clearly, I am not), I would pass on this one. I'm going to.

I absolutely LOVE this book! I think the receipes are creative and fun with easy to find ingredients. The book starts with descriptions of each ingredient and its' health benefits and goes into preparation techniques and even explains the job of 'binders' in smoothies. I really love the way each smoothie has a 'job'; they list smoothies for PMS, for extra energy, for weight-loss, morning sickness, snacking, and for kids. The book also has receipes for specific male issues, like virility. I think this is the best beginner smoothie book on the market. The receipes go from basic banana-strawberry to exotic tomato and avacado smoothies. And each receipe lists detailed nutritional information, which is great if you're trying to cut back on fats or carbs, for example. This book proves smoothies aren't just a treat anymore, they can be a beautiful addition to a healthy diet as well as curing what ails you! Try the "Constant Craving" apple smoothie- it's my favorite.Buy it!! Trust me, you won't regret it!!

I really can't complain about the content of this book, I find most of the smoothies to be yummy and refreshing. However, I wanted one smoothie book to use with my blender and this isn't the only book I ended up getting. Plus, I've had this book for only about three months and I'm already getting tired of thumbing through it and seeing the same stuff. I really wish I had purchased a book that focused more on the quantity of recipes and less on the pictures of the recipes it did contain within (as this book does). I ended up purchasing Smoothies, Shakes & Frappes ISBN 1579121721 for about half the price and, with no disrespect to these authors, found this to be a better choice if it really is quantity of smoothie and shake recipes you are looking for.

This book is a must for people who want to learn how to make smoothies. I've been through three books, and lots of money wasted on fruit and all kinds of groceries just trying to create a great tasting smoothie. I just got this book two days ago, and I already have made four smoothies that came out perfect! I like not adding ice cream or frozen yogurt to the reciepes it's all mainly fresh fuit or veggies. You gotta have this book!

I purchased this book for myself, but I was thinking that it would make a great gift for that "person who has everything". Also as a wedding gift, with a nice blender! I really enjoy this book and the healthy and yummy smoothies.

...As soon as I got the book in the mail I went down to my local market and picked up some fruit. That alone is worth the price of the book. If this book does anything it'll make the reader more insightful to nutrition and it will force them to eat more fruits and vegetables. Not bad for a...book I think. The recipes are so simple to follow. The ingredients, for the most part, can be purchased in any local fruit stand. Yes, there are some obscure ingredients. I had no idea what silken tofu was until I read the preface. The stuff tastes great! Don't be afraid to try and drink something new and different. After all, what would you rather drink, soda or a smoothie? It takes a matter of minutes to put one of these drinks together - and that includes the preparation which usually doesn't entail anything more then a peeling here or there. If you have kids they will go nuts for this stuff. You can make them together. Then DRINK them together! Yum!'

Cell Phone Charger - android, case

I purchased this item to go with my Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V. The screen protector and case fit perfectly, and the charger works, however all are cheaply made and durability may be an issue in the future. Of course I didn't pay much either. This is the reason for the 4 start "I like it" rating versus the "I love it" one.

This case will fit any of the LG Optimus phones as the S simply means its used by Sprint and V is used by Virgin Mobile. Ironically they both use the Sprint 3G network!

For the price, this package is tough to beat. Just know that the case is lightweight hard plastic with a rubberized coating. It's not overly thick which is good, and snaps together well, however it's not likely to offer much protection for your phone and I have concerns that the coating will rub off quickly with much handling. The case doesn't block any ports, the camera or speakers.

If you want a cheap cover and charger for your LG Optimus, this package is a good buy. Just be gentle!

UPDATE: 3/30/11

The need to get the case off my phone has come up twice and despite being gentle taking it off n' on, the case is now starting to break at the tab portion - a flimsy plastic piece that if bent even slightly it will break off and or not connect. I'm not overly surprised, but yes, disappointed. Have now ordered a more expensive case by Otterbox to protect my phone. It's a bear to get on and off, but previous experience tells me that my phone will be safe and the case won't be breaking.

I'm still glad I purchased this package, but as expected durability of the case is an issue. GTMax Rapid Car Charger + Black Rubberized Hard Cover Case + LCD Screen Protector for Sprint LG Optimus S LS670

This case is a well built case that completely surrounds the phone and it stays on well. Fits on both the LG Optimus V and Optimus S. The screen protector quality is okay, but the application of it is easy. It is pre-cut to the Optimus' screen size and shape. Great deal for the price.

While I haven't yet added the screen protector to my LG Optimus V (I already have one in place, so it wasn't a priority), I have used the rapid car charger and the rubberized hard cover case and have these observations:

1) the case is a snug fit (which is a good thing) but requires help from a dinner-plate knife to get it apart once it's snapped in (which is a bad thing, especially since it increases the chances of creating small cracks in the case <which, yes, has happened>)

2) if you carry the phone in your pocket the rubber coating on the case doesn't take long to start rubbing off; I've been using mine for at most a month and there are already some bare spots on the back

3) given the price of the package and the reality that you can pay $35 for a case, you're welcome to take points 1) and 2) with a grain of salt

4) the car charger works fine so far, with these caveats: A) it gets hot quickly and seems to make the Optimus hot, too, and 2) my Subaru Outback has 2 12 volt plugs (one in the dash and a second in-between the two front seats) and the charger seems to work only in the dash-mounted one -- not sure why (NB: the one between the seats *does* work -- my daughter uses it to charge her iPod Touch)

Bottom line: you get what you pay for, and this package of accessories didn't cost much. I'm just crossing my fingers that I get a couple of years of use out of the charger and a good 6 months from the case.

I purchased this set for my Optimus V phone from Virgin Mobile. it arrived promptly and everything works as advertised. For the price, the quality was excellent and I'm very happy that I shopped at Amazon.

I bought this for my husband, and it sucks! The case lasted only a week and chipped all along the center so it wouldn't stay clasped onto the phone. The charger only lasted 2 days and wouldn't charge the phone without holding it a certain way, and well the only good thing about this was the screen protector it's still looks great... Do not buy!!!!!!!

I was so happy to receive this product I just had to write a review about it. The case fit my phone perfectly and I had no problems attaching it to my phone. It snapped right in place. The car charger works perfectly and the display cover works great too. I'm really glad I went with this seller and I give them a grade of A+++++++++GTMax Rapid Car Charger + Black Rubberized Hard Cover Case + LCD Screen Protector for Sprint LG Optimus S LS670 - Cell Phone - Cell Phone Accessories - Android - Case'

Shipping - ink jet labels, shipping labels

I purchased these because of the USPS online postage option. I was starting to be fairly active within the ebay community buying and selling, and I decided these little puppy's would make my life a while lot easier. I was right. :) I was able to get the item I had sold, print postage, and schedule a pickup all from the internet and my own home. I HIGHLY recommend these if you are looking for the print-your-own-postage approach to online selling. They are cheap, unmarked and extra big (they do require cropping) but that didn't bother me. 200 Half Sheet Shipping Labels Laser/Inkjet USPS UPS Fedex

I wanted to save money on labels so I went with these. What a complete mistake! First off, both sides of the labels look and feel IDENTICAL. You have no way of knowing which way to put them in your printer unless you peel back an area to test it. Second, there is no perforation in the middle so you'll have to use the scissors to cut labels in half. This may not be a problem for others, but it's very annoying for me. I'd rather buy 8.5 x 5.5 or have the middle perforated. I bought self-adhesive so I don't have to waste time taping/scissoring everything to death. Lastly, and the complete deal-breaker for me, THE ADHESION SUCKS! I've used them on regular boxes, padded envelopes, plastic envelopes, they just don't stick properly. I have to smoothe my hand over the label for a while in order for it to stick decently. The corners still turn up by the time I've dropped it off at the PO. Oh yeah, the labels are so thin that they wrip easily. You wouldn't want to see these labels if they accidently got wet in transit. Do not bother with these. There are better options out there without paying for Avery, etc. Totally overpriced for the quality.

The half-sheet design makes the labels compatible with all major online shipping providers - USPS, FedEx, UPS. Print quality is okay. Worked well with Word 2003 to create labels with my logo to add a little color and professionalism.

For my printer, I have to "uncurl" the sheets by pulling them across the edge of my table. If I don't uncurl them, they will jam. Most printers feed with the sheets flat and face up so it may not be a problem for most. My printer feeds face down and turns the sheets face up before exiting. I may have given this product only 3 stars but at less than $6 I'll put up with a minor problem.

The adage that you get what you pay for applies to these labels. I was appalled at the price of laser and ink jet labels when I went to the office store. I was thrilled when I found these, thinking I was wisely saving some dough. Well... For one thing, there is no distinction between the front and back (ie: a logo, marking, difference in color). I never know which side I am printing on and whether or not I'll get the actual sticky label when I am done. They are very large, and usually require trimming on just about every size package I use. They don't stick very well and I have to tape the edges to ensure that they don't peel off in transit. I used them to label some boxes for storage and they began to peel off within a couple of weeks (if not days). As you can probably tell, I am not thrilled with this product and next time I will spend the extra money for the extra quality. When will I learn?:)

The labels are great the first time through the printer, but if you plan to print one label and then come back later and run the other label through, I find that they tend to jam the printer. Otherwise, great price and easy to use, no wasted margins.

The labels are really cheap compared to similar labels by Avery or even store brands. They work great. They are however very thin, which leads to a little bit of bunching sometimes. But at this price, thats a minor, minor issue. So far they've been great. - Postal - Shipping Labels - Ink Jet Labels - Clicknship'
