Magnetic Therapy - magnetic therapy

After we weared it out for more than a year now, phi-ten really works. At begining, I were wondering what it was and now, I confirmed that phiten really magically make your sore hands and backs and legs go away while you wear them. I bought all kinds phi-ten bracelet, clothes and necklace etc. and plan to gave them to my parent and friends that may benefit from this techonology. Phiten MLB Authentic Bracelet, New York Yankees, Medium (6.75 Inches)

I purchased this bracelet for myself for the baseball season. My husband's use of alternative magnetic therapy for the aches in his hands from being a delivery driver convinced me to try it myself for my arthritic hands. And it really does the edge off the aching.

I ordered a Large (new) bracelet and today I got in the mail my item but it was a opened Small Yankees Phiten one.. I emailed this vendor earlier and only to get a mail back of a automatic reply telling me to leave feedback.. Im grateful I got at least something beacuse something beats nothing but this being my first true amazon third party purchase first ever I cant believe I got ripped off like this. Like im truely unhappy and now will be weary of third party purchases. Please be careful if your purchaseing from this vendor. ~Chuck

So looks cool, get a lot of compliments. The one thing is that it is does a little small, go for the larger size. I got the Medium, but it just fits around my wrist, should have gotten the Large. Also the color of the blue is a little faded, was expecting it to me more vibrant. I got more because it had the Yankee colors and logo, didn't get it for the titanium properties.

Seriously, even though the price is $7.44 this bracelet is the real deal its no fake, if ordered on phiten.com its 25, i know most of the necklaces sold on here for less than 20 are most likely fake(unless the seller is amazon llc or anything that says fulfilled by amazon) but this bracelet is the real deal....plus it really works, dont know if its a placebo effect or not but it works

I'm currently wearing this item; only wished they were available in a quarter size smaller (6.50) due to my smaller wrist size. Other than that, it looks great along with my matching Yankees "power" necklace. - Magnetic Therapy'

50 Inch Led

A few months ago, I decided to upgrade from my current 32 inch Toshiba Regza to a slightly bigger TV. After aiming for a 40+ inch, I discovered this TV on Amazon for $600 and decided that this would be a great upgrade. A couple days later, and I received the TV and I have had a chance to test it out. Does it hold up?

PROS:

-The image quality is excellent and quite beautiful for 46 inches. Just make sure you are the proper distance away (About 8 feet).

-Sound is excellent. It is clear and the TV can be quite loud if you want it to be.

-HDMI cables are easier to plug in then my previous Regza. In the past, I had to plug them under the device at a downward angle, which was awkward and frustrating. This set allows you to plug it straight in.

-120 Hz mode is great for animated videos and if you like your shows or movies to run at a faster frame rate. It isn't so hot for games, but there is a game mode option that turns off 120 Hz mode and lowers it to 60 Hz if needed.

-The TV itself feels well built and has a nice black gloss look to it, while the back has a nice metal finish with quality looking ports.

-There is a USB slot on the side for viewing saved videos and pictures on the TV. Great for home movies or if you have some videos from the net that you want to watch.

-Somewhat of a small update, but I bought a Blu-Ray player and several Blu-Ray movies and tested them out via HDMI. It ran beautifully and had no major problems, so if you are in the market for HD movies and want to mainly use a Blu-Ray player to watch things, then this is a very decent TV.

CONS:

-You cannot sit too close to the TV without getting eye strain. It is generally recommended that you are at least 8 feet away from the TV to get the best viewing experience. I had to move my furniture around in my room. I tried it from 5 feet away, and games look pixilated from that close to the TV. This isn't too much of a problem if you put it in a living room or larger room, but it might be too big for a small bedroom or apartment.

-There are very few options with adjusting the TV. You can turn off the 120 Hz mode if needed, but the menus are a little confusing (They are set up like my old Regza) which is kind of disappointing.

-Not wi-fi capable, meaning no Netflix out of the box. You will need to get a blu-ray player, Roku, or video game console capable of using it.

-I am not a big fan of the stand that comes with it. It has a similar glossy finish to the rest and is in a football shape, but attracts dust like crazy. It also isn't the easiest thing to install and even with the screws it still jiggles around a bit too much.

-Even though there are 3 HDMI ports, one of them is on the side and does not look all that great if you have more then 3 devices. I really wish it came with 3 back ports and 1 side port and not the 2 back ports it comes with.

-I am not sure if I am just doing this wrong, but the game mode setting "resets" to off every time I turn it to another input. This might be able to be turned off, but is kind of important if you do not want 120 Hz mode for games.

OTHER:

-I tested my PS3, 360, HD Netflix, and several upscaled DVD on the TV. Like I stated above: my PS3 and 360 were great as long as you were roughly 8 feet away. HD Netflix worked just fine, but it depends on the show and when it was made. Animated shows tend to look better, while older shows might look a bit "meh", especially if they were filmed back before 2000. DVD, sadly, do not hold up nearly as well as they used to on my 32 inch. They are still quite watchable from 8 feet away, but you can defiantly tell the graininess now. To be fair, it depends on what movie and when it was made: more recent DVDs tend to look and play much better while older ones tend to look fairly grainy.

-This obviously does not have 3D capabilities, but at the moment it is not too much of a con to really count it as one.

-The TV is pretty big and heavy. It weighs about 50 pounds and is quite wide, so you might need some help if you cannot lift easily or have a smaller frame.

-If you want to turn off 120Hz mode, go to Menu > Picture Settings >Advanced Picture Settings > ClearFrame and turn it Off.

What is boils down to is this is just as it advertises: A 46 Inch HDTV. It is not a super TV that has internet and various other bells in whistles, but a TV for people who want a decent quality TV for a excellent price. This is a steal for the $600 I paid for it and I have no regrets whatsoever. Toshiba 46G310U 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV, Black

Slim tv with a great picture. I have dish network with an HD DVR box connected through the HDMI cable. I have also tried my new Blu-Ray player with HDMI cable. The tv has a great picture. I am very picky on picture quality and I would recommend this tv to anyone.

The tv screen also does not have a bad glare with room light or sun coming in from the windows. We have alot of sunlight that comes into our great room and the screen performs well. You can see the picture clearly day or night.

The only reason I did not give the tv a 5 star rating is for the lack of HDMI inputs on the back. There are only 2 on the back and a 3rd input on the side but you can see the cord when it is plugged in. If you have only 2 devices with HDMI cables then you will be fine.

Buy and you will enjoy!!!

The TV was to replace a 46" Toshiba DLP television.

I recently purchased the G310U and actually really enjoy it. So far, I think it's a great tv and has a good bit of potential. At the $599 price point, I think it's almost impossible to pass over when looking at other televisions.

Things I've noticed:

The stand is a little on the cheap side. It has two tabs that sit in the base of the tv and is secured with 4 screws. Even with the screws, it still feels slightly unstable. I do feel that it is secure, but I would feel better if it were a little tighter fit.

The tv will automatically adjust the picture size based on the incoming signal (native, stretched, 4:3, etc.) which is a very nice feature.

This tv is currently connected to a TERK HD antenna with a signal booster and out of the box, scanned and found 16 channels. I know that the channels depend on the closeness to the stations, weather, etc, but the time this took to scan, label, and setup was rather impressive.

The initial setup itself was rather simple, straightfoward, and easy to go with.

The inputs on the back are definitely further to the edge of the tv than they could be. Running the wires and attempting to hide them behind the small neck support was tough. With a simple 3' HDMI cable, one of mine felt a bit stretched and needed to be switched around. I can still see it from the front of the tv, but it's a minor inconvenience. I do think the inputs could be closer to the middle of the tv.

Being able to switch and dial back between 120Hz and 60Hz is a very helpful feature. It appears that the tv tries too hard at times to adjust the refresh rate, but having the feature is nice.

Overall, a good tv.'

Sports Games - soccer, winning eleven

When PES 2008 came out, I was as disappointed as most people with the quality of the game. It just seemed that Seabass and team had taken a huge step backwards. Not to say that I didn't enjoy it at some level and pour a large amount of hours into playing, but it just was not good enough for a next gen platform.

This time around, I was undecided whether to jump to the FIFA franchise. I went so far as downloading the demo but it was like playing through syrup so I decided to wait for PES 2009.

I'm glad I did. This time round, the graphics are slick, the music pumped up a notch and the addition of the Be A Legend mode is completely addictive. The ball physics are much more realistic and it plays an excellent game of soccer.

Not to say that everything is rosy in the garden - the commentary is still inept, the lack of licensing can be solved with an updated option file (but when oh when is Konami going to realize that North American players want to use the option files created by their European cousins!!) and I have yet to try the online mode (I mainly play Master League so no biggie but the signup was tedious).

In general, and in concert with other reviews, this is what PES 2008 should have been. The core gameplay is fantastic. Now Konami needs to build on this with game modes, presentation and licensing that can match FIFA. Pro Evolution Soccer 09

Besides playing online, this game is brilliant. The gameplay is awesome and has improved alot from last years efforts. If you love watching and playing football/soccer then this is the game for you. Konami's AI improvements have made it closer to reality where now in order to score and win you have to unlock the defense, find spaces, make intelligent runs and maintain possession. Loose possession in the midfield while attacking and you'll see how the AI takes advantage of your players being out of position.

There are many different game modes and the ones most addictive are master league (ML) and Become a Legend (BAL). In the first you take a team of average players and struggle through the lower divisions, buy and sell players in order to make it to the first division and eventually dominate all. The second mode, BAL, is essentially taking control of a 17 year old player and guiding him through the football career. This new addition to PES09 is very addictive and requires real understanding of football and the different player roles.

For example, if you are an attacking midfielder you have to constantly provide passes, regain possession, create passes that cut the opponents defenses and help your team in assists and scoring.

Overall this game is highly recommended.

Playing PES series since 1998, this PES 2009 is the best soccer title ever made on planet earth, while some like to point FIFA 09 for the "photorealistic" images, gameplay and true soccer physics are inside PES 2009 pack.

On PES 2009 we have the usual and awesome gameplay now with enhanced ball physics, 3D Kinetic motion engine, good looking graphics and last but not the least the incredible A.I., A.I. very smart and giving large hours of fun for beginners or professional PES players.

Licenses aren't problem because the missing team licenses can be fixed with the great Option Files for PS3 (Edit Data file), we just need to copy and it's done, names, logos, kits all good and official.

Offline mode is endless with all leagues, Master League and now the Legends modes. ONLINE mode isn't perfect yet but we can play very good now, nothing we can compare with last year's version.

This is a true soccer game any player shouldn't miss, great and unbiased reviews about PES and FIFA can also be found on [...] site.

I think Konami is playing catch up for online gaming with this product. In Asia (Thailand etc.) most gamers are in arcade style rooms where they meet up with their friends and play together. From my experience you go to these gaming locations and either play with your friends or ask someone to challenge you. It is a lot of fun. So most of the gaming so far that I have seen in Asia (maybe except Japan)are done offline in gaming centers with friends etc. The Winning Eleven, Pro Evolution series I believe was more geared towards this type of offline game playing. Granted Pro Evolution, Winning Eleven series game play offline is very good and much better than any FIFA soccer games past or present. Now with the popularity of the Pro Evolution series in Europe, North America, etc. And the popularity of online gaming I don't believe the Winning Eleven or Pro Evolution gaming series were ever equip to take advantage of the online gaming platform. EA Sports FIFA is ahead of Konami on the online gaming for the soccer series. I honestly believe Seabass and company tried their best to be better with the online gaming for their product but they are still coming up short. The Pro Evolution 2009 still have online lagging issues. The 2008 edition was a complete disaster to say the least. It is a shame for such a good game with better mechanics than FIFA the online aspect can't meet the basic mechanics required for smooth online play. I guess they have to keep trying until they get this right. Hopefully Seabass and company will get it right for the PES series one day. There is no way the FIFA series is better than PES series when it comes to realistic feel like game play. If they get the online right I honestly don't think anyone would be talking much about FIFA. I am sure PES would blow FIFA out of the water altogether.

I have both the Xbox 360 and PS3. I was able to download both demos via Xbox live. Both demos were quite bad, to be honest. But I thought Fifa's demo was a little bit more polished. I was quite disappointed with Pro Evo's demo. So I made up my mind not to buy either this year and keep playing my PES5.

When both games released, I played both of them. I felt that Fifa was quite similar to the demo but Pro Evo was much more polished now and I was pleasantly surprised how much more I'm enjoying it. The "Be a Legend" mode is extremely fun. Btw, I bought the PS3 version because I read that there are some glitches in the Xbox version. - Football - Soccer - Winning Eleven - Pes'

Unlocked Phones - unlocked blackberry storm, blackberry 9530

I had bought the refurbished blackberry Storm 9530 from "recellulartoo" in feb for $115, frankly speaking I was not sure about the condition of the product until I received due to some of the negative reviews of the refurbished storm at amazon. When I received the product it was in a brand new OEM housing, looked and worked like a new one. It was locked to verizon, since I wanted to use it in India I unlocked it by buying the unlock code from amazon for $5 the next day itself. Now I have an unlocked blackberry Storm 9530 for a total of $120 (115+5) working perfectly in india. I have been using it since a month and no issues till now and the phone is working fine. A nice phone at a very low price, I recommend it for those who are reluctant in buying a refurbished one. Since this is fulfilled by amazon I received it within 2 days of my order. This is my first refurbished phone and it is really very good and worth the money I have paid. It is better to buy this locked phone and get it unlocked because it works out much cheaper as compared to the ones that are already unlocked which costs more than $150. And moreover the unlocking is simple and quick for just $5, just email your phones IMEI number and the service provider (verizon) and they will send the unlock code, enter this code in your phone and it is unlocked for any GSM as well as CDMA worldwide. One thing I liked about this phone is that I works for both GSM as well as CDMA networks, and the only thing missing is the WiFi connectivity. Overall a Smart phone at a Beautiful price. Kindle Devices - ebook, i own it

The books are great, I've been reading this non-stop since I received it. However, there are several typos, which is the reason for the 3 stars. The typos are easy to ignore and do not really change the meaning of the sentences at all, they are just annoying to me. The Sherlock Holmes collection

These are incredible detective stories because they are not just about wacked out crimes, but Holmes' personality is revealed as he unravels the crimes. By far the best and most intense Holmes stories I have ever read.

He is a keen observer of things, people, and movements.

He can see whether you were a soldier or a navy.

He has a keen eye, especially for science. His senses are

sharp as a razor. He is physically fit. This book is one among the greatest books, I have read, written by Arthur Conan Doyle, about his fictional detective. It is a must for all detective fans. Sliding Compound Miter Saw - hitachi, home improvement

I bought this same saw about a year ago at Lowes, I paid something like $150 for it. It's a great saw, really smooth and comfortable to use. Works great for cutting trim boards, but I've also used it as a chop saw to cut 2x6's, it doesn't bog down one bit when cutting larger stock. It's a little heavy, but to me that just means it's built better. It's also quiet compared to other miter saws I've used. This is definitely a great deal! I'm almost tempted to buy a second as a backup! Hitachi C10FCE2 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw

Received the Hitachi C10FCE2 yesterday after a longer wait than usual from Amazon. But still within the window they specify.

Assembled the saw accessories in about 5 minutes (flip over fence, rear stabilizer bar, and hold down) and took it out to my shop. First up was a standard pine 2x4. Plugged in the saw and gave the trigger a pull. The first thing I noticed as a nice soft start mechanism, very nice. The blade started spinning and had little to no vibration. I love the horizontal anti vibe handle. Pulled the saw down and cut through the 2x4 like a hot knife through butter. I was impressed at this price point. Next up were some miter cuts. 52 degrees left and right, no problem. The indicator is very thin which makes for more exacting measurements, again very nice. Next up, bevel. Went to 45 degrees, gave the handle a tug and i had a clean 45 degree bevel. Checked the angles and they were spot on, right from the factory. I cut 2x6's, stacked 2 2x4's, and stacked 2 2x6's and it cut them without any problems or bogging down. This saw will cut 4x4 posts no problem at 90 degrees.

With the 5 year warrantee and a saw that performs like this you can't go wrong at $99.00 with free shipping.

I received this saw as a Christmas present in 2007. I've used it nearly every other weekend since, and the only complaint I have is with the manual. This was my first miter saw so I wanted to be sure that it was put together correctly, but the instructions were nearly incomprehensible. But, since I'm a guy and am used to not reading directions (j/k) I figured it out eventually.

This saw is very powerful relative to other models in this price range. I had looked at the Dewalt saws, but didn't really think the quality of construction was the same since Black & Decker bought them out a few years back. I've used this to cut 4x4" treated posts and it slices through them like a hot knife through butter, with no motor lag at all. The sawdust catch-bag is a nice feature, but doesn't catch it all. I wasn't expecting it to, and having ANY of it get caught is a plus, and simply less clean up for me once the project is finished.

After receiving this saw, I did some research and found out that all Hitachi power tools have a 5 year limited warrantee. I've blown through 3 drills - 1 Skil, 2 Black & Deckers (guess I didn't learn) - on my trip to the Hitachi brand, and will never buy anything but Hitachi tools from here on out. I would recommend this tool to anyone that is looking for a professional quality tool at a decent price.

I purchased this miter saw to replace its predecessor, Hitachi model C10FC2, which experienced a terminal encounter with my garage floor...

First Impressions:

This model is both smaller and lighter than I was expecting. Hitachi has apparently redesigned this product to minimize shipping costs from China. The bed of this saw is about 3 inches shorter than the C10FC2. It is also noticeably lighter. With these modifications, the saw can be packaged in a smaller (and flimsier) box. The saw pivots smoothly and has solid stops at common angles. The "D" style handle offers good control and is an improvement on the earlier pistol grip. I also like the fact that they have enlarged the throat of the dust collection bag; not nearly as much blockage. Finally, the Hitachi 5 year warranty makes this a reassuring choice.

The first thing I did after unpacking the saw was to align the fence(s)and blade. Next I upgraded the saw with a quality 80 tooth blade and an Irwin Miter Saw Laser Guide. Finally, I bolted the saw down to a larger plywood base to minimize tipping.

This saw delivers good basic accuracy at a reasonable price. As noted, the bed is kind of short. I suspect that commercial users will want to add extensions or build a cutting bed to handle longer pieces. The manufacturers have added a "flip fence" feature to the left fence to address some of these issues. Folded up, it provides support for taller material. Unfolded it pivots out horizontally and provides backing for longer materials. I was a little skeptical of the pivot, but it seems to work as intended. The only drawback is that you can't make bevel cuts with the flip fence retracted.

One disappointment is the redesigned material clamp/vise. They've downgraded this feature by using lighter materials and resizing the hand knob to the size of a small dial. The screw down clamp is mounted on a post which slides into a receiving vertical hole in the left or right fence. A second hole is lined up in the bed of the saw. So why couldn't they make these items the same size? The post slops around in the fence hole, but doesn't even fit into the receiving hole in the bed. If I used this feature more I'd be more concerned. It works, but its not pretty.

Overall, I am happy with the saw. Cuts were very accurate and repeatable. A reasonable tool for the hobbyist or home shop. Commercial users will probably need to make some of the noted upgrades. Too early to address durablility issues. I doubt this will be as robust as the earlier saw, but it will probably hold up if not abused (or dropped).

This saw was bought as a replacement for a contractor grade Craftsman compound miter saw and boy... I should have upgraded sooner!

The Craftsman saw weighs in at 55 lbs which makes it a pain to move and setup, however with this Hitachi weighing in at half the weight (just 26 lbs) not only makes it easier to move and setup it feels as well constructed as the Craftsman, if not better constructed. Also the built in carrying handle on top of this saw means no more having to carry it awkwardly or smashing my fingers!

The motor is nice and powerful and can easily cut through pressure treated 4x4 posts, 2x4s, you name it it cuts through it with ease. And the saw itself adjusts to pretty much any angle and beveling degree you can possibly need. The large fence allows you to cut some of the largest pieces of wood (like crown molding, window trim, etc.) without having to figure out a weird and dangerous way to hold the piece of wood while you make the cut. I can't remember how many times I've had to hold a piece awkwardly while making a cut because the fence is too short.

The added vise assembly is a HUGE plus, something that some of the more expensive saws don't even include.

Now you're thinking why did I give it only 4 stars? The dust bag only does a mediocre job at collecting dust and it's made in China... thats right a Japanese company making stuff in China. I really would have preferred to see it made in Japan or the US. It is covered by a five year warranty and made to the high standards of Hitachi... so it is a trade off.

Overall I would highly recommend this saw to anyone.

Pros:

Powerful.

Light-weight but very well constructed.

Fairly quiet, even for a miter saw.

Built in handle on the top of the unit makes transportation and setup much easier.

Comfortable handle.

Cons:

Made in China.

Dust bag doesn't collect a whole lot of dust... better then nothing though. - Hitachi - Miter Saw - Woodworking - Home Improvement'
