Ipod Wall Charger - iphone charger, ipod accessories

This item does not work with the Iphone 3G and Ipod touch 3G as advertised. Probably the reason why it is being sold for 1 cent.

The reason for this is because Apple decided to make things complicated for everyone and no longer support both 12V and 5V charging. Accessory Manufacturers were apparently warned about this 1 year in advance but whoever is selling this item on amazon is falsely advertising it as compatible with the newest generation iPhones and iPod touch.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IF YOU OWN A 3G IPHONE OR IPOD TOUCH. Nokia Evo 4G Inspire 4G Optimus S LS670 Ascend M860 Epic 4G SPH-D700 Captivate i897 Fascinate Galaxy S SCH-I500 Torch 9800 Droid Incredible Cosmos VN250 USB Power Adapter (White)

I went to plug my iPhone 3gs into the wall. And when I plugged it in, a message popped up on my iPhone that said this accessory was not made to charge your iPhone. What a waste of 6 bucks! It doesn't work. Don't buy!

This looks like an OEM Apple charger but it is not. They try very hard to make it look like an authentic usb plug from Apple but this thing not only failed to charge my iPhone 4 it caused it to malfunction and not even function properly while connected.

I'd avoid this item and seller like the plague. Thank goodness amazon has a fair return policy!

I own a 3g Ipod Touch 32gb and the first charger they sent me did not work. I notified the seller (1To3Shop) and returned the item which they promptly sent a new charger which works marvelously. So all-in-all its a good buy, as long as you've got the time to wait for your replacement :)

With the number of negative reviews about this product not working with the iPhone, I was hesitant to buy it. However, I was pleasantly surprised that, at least as of April 2010, it works just fine charging both my iPhone 3GS and my iPad. YMMV, but my experience has been very positive, particularly given the price.

The product was just what I expected. I recieved it by mail in 3 days and I have used it for about a month with no problems. This product frees up the computer USB port and it seems to charge my iPhone faster. I have used it with my iPod, iPhone 2g, and iPhone 3g.

I bought this adapter a few months ago, and when it arrived it was clearly not a new product. It was without manufacturer packaging, and it was finger-marked and very dirty. It also had many small scratches all over, indicating it had likely been used. I complained, and the company apologized and refunded my money. They also sent me a new, clean adapter and even threw in a new sync cable at no charge. I was delighted that they had made amends, and both adapters worked fine, so I gave them excellent feedback for this transaction. However, this morning I finally got around to trying out the sync cable, and there was trouble. Though it looked a little different from the one that came with my iPod, the cable worked OK, but afterward it remained stuck in my iPod. Whatever I tried, using all my grip strength, it just wouldn't budge. Ten minutes went by until I finally was able to yank it out by the cord, which broke off in the process. I'm just lucky it didn't damage my iPod. I think this company is selling bogus Apple products, which may work--but beware the risks! - Usb Charger - Iphone Charger - Power Adapter - Ipod Accessories'

Inexpensive - sexy

I have only worn this out once, but I love it. The sleeves fit snugly, but they're not too tight, and they even cover bra straps if you dress carefully. I wore the shirt with dark jeans and boots for a bit more of a casual feel, but I'm excited to try it with a skirt for a more dressy feel. The only caution I suggest is to be careful with the lace...don't want to punch holes in it while you're putting it on, and it catches on rough surfaces. But that's all lace, not just this shirt! Plus size Floral Lace Sleeve Top Black - 1X

I really like this top. I am able to pull off the whole goth look and feel very sexy. Plus also keep those parts of me I like covered, covered. I ordered a size too small at first but loved it so much I exchanged it for a bigger size and it was worth it!

I was nervous about ordering this shirt. I am only five foot tall and have short arms. Also I carry some extra weight in my stomach area and thought the shirt might look horrible on me. I love it. It looks great and I can't wait to wear it.

This smelled so bad when I removed it from the packaging. It was as if someone had already worn the shirt and returned it and then they decided to send it to me. Another issue with this shirt is that it was not true to size or should I say it is a junior plus size shirt and not a regular plus size shirt. I am just now being aware that this company states that it is up to the consumer to check the measurements to be sure it is the right size, but wouldn't one think that it would be up to the company to make sure they accurately label the products they are selling so there won't be any misunderstandings? This company will not be getting any more business from me.

I received this item but was not thrilled with the quality. It took me a couple of minutes just to figure out how to put it on because of how the lace is sewn. The arms did not drape as the picture shows and the material was much thinner than I expected. Also, it was Way too small. I wear a 2x and this fit more like maybe a xl; it wasn't even close to a 2x. I returned the item.

I just received my shirt - which I was super stoked for. Too bad I received it with a rip about 1/2 the entire right side seam. Additionally, the sleeves fit great from wrist to elbow, and the torso fits ok, but the elbow to shoulder is oddly cut and sort of uncomfortable. - Sexy'

Black Denim Jacket

my fault for not checking the reviews of this jacket in different sizes. i'm a medium. i wear a size 40 jacket and that's what i ordered, based on the size chart. what i got was not even close to what i was expecting. the jacket is ill fitting (i'd bet it still fits poorly in the right size) and oddly shaped. it doesn't have the seams and lines of a traditional denim jacket. i could have got a better jacket for $12.99 at Walgreen's. since the cost of returning the jacket was half the cost of the jacket and more than the jacket is probably worth, it basically went from the shipping box to the trash bin. my advice? spring for a trusted brand. Fraudulent - usb printer cable, usb

Don't pay $25.00 at Staples or Circuit City for this cable to attach your new printer to your computer. It's insulting enough that the manufacturer's no longer include a cable so that you are ready to print 'out of the box', claiming that new printers provide several ways to print including ethernet, wireless, and USB. Give us a break. So you are either stuck buying the cable they offer, which is priced 10 times what it needs to be, or you can plan ahead and order the exact same thing for 1/10th the cost, without the name brand. All cables are made by the same few companies, and are branded for retail outlets. They are made of the same materials, there's not much to add, unless you want gold-plated or a Monster cable. Save your money. This has been working perfectly for six months. The 10 foot length is perfect when you need to set the printer up a little further away from your desk, sometimes the 6' length doesn't give you the flexibility to reach a desktop sitting on the floor, to a printer placed on a top shelf of a computer desk hutch (found that out the hard way!). Fast service from this company, no complaints. Cables To Go 13400 USB 2.0 A Male to B Male Cable, White (9.8 Feet/ 3 Meters)

I've had this cable for 3 months now, connecting an external hard drive to my USB hub.

No problems have come up so far. It's been 100% reliable.

The bright white color makes the cable look very clean and pretty, which is something I can't say for any of the gray and blue cable's I've used until now.

Definitely will repurchase when I need to.

"USB Device not recognized" is more common than an actual connection with this cable, but it is not nearly as common as a complete lack of any communication at all. On the rare occasions that it actually works, though, it works fine.

"Ordered a printer USB 2.0 cable from Cmple and it did not work, my printer would not print. I kept getting a pop up on my computer saying it did not recognize the USB connection from this cable. Put my old cable cable back and the printer worked just fine. Contacted Cmple and they said they would refund my money. It also took a long time to receive this cable after I ordered it. Be careful when ordering these low priced cables.

I used this to hook my new Canon Pixma MP970 to my computer - worked just fine - $8 inc. Shipping from AntOnline - they gave me fine service. Why pay $35 - 40 at Best Buy, etc. I hate to say it but if Best Buy were even reasonable, I would use them - But $35 is ridiculous when I only had to pay $2 to accomplish my goal. I wish there was work around gasoline this easy... - Cables - Usb - Printer Cable - Usb Printer Cable'

Hitachi Framing Nailer - nail gun, framing nailer

I have other Hitachi products and have found them to be well made and dependable. This nailer is no different. I've used 3-1/4" and 2-1/4" collated round head nails without a hitch. The loading is different from my Grizz gun in that you load from the back. The tension spring must be held back when loading so you have difficulty loading with it being held rather than set down. My Grizz spring locks back and the nails drop in through the top of the ramp.

The Hitachi is easier to unload with the nails sliding back up the ramp as you hold the spring back.

Depth is very easier to set. I use a dedicated air control as well and adjust it to the lowest optimum air pressure to save unnecessary wear and tear. A 100 PSI works well on the long nails- 90 PSI for the 2-1/4" nails.

The tool is fairly light and maneuverable although I could only load two sets of nails even though there was almost room for three. Another 1-1/2" longer ramp and I probably could. I picked up a drier and installed it- Dedicated to the nailer. I have found corrosion in other air tools from moisture in the compressed air especially in humid weather.

I've been giving it about ten drops of oil every time I use it. It isn't a production tool so my use is rarely over two hours at a time.

So far I'm pleased with the purchase although I saw it cheaper right after I bought it! Hitachi NR90AEPR 3-1/2-Inch Full-Head Framing Strip Nailer

I have had the gun for a week and it is an awesome tool. It has loads of power no recoil and a nice placement tip. the trigger is adjustable from bump fire to set fire and its a great gun for the money.

the only bad is that the nails are not the most common nails to find.

I have only been using this nailer for two weeks and it's definitely been one of the best tool choices I've made. During this time it has driven 6,000 3 1/4" stainless ring shank nails into lots of 2 by Pressure Treated. There's really no downside to this nailer that I`ve found. It is very powerful and drives these nails fine as long as the line pressure is at least 100psi. Don't expect a little pancake compressor to feed this rapid fire or you will probably be disappointed. Because I am framing and decking with this gun I found the quick lever adjustment between trigger fire and bump fire to be useful in avoiding unwanted multi-fires. This gun loads very easily, contrary to another review, you can insert your nail strips, then you pull back the tension lever and it will automatically catch after the last nail. I have another 4,000 nails to go for this job and so far it has been a great performer.

Update 4-20-11 I've now put 8,000 3 1/4 SS ring shanks and another 3,000 B & C Eagle 314X120HDR/22 Round Head 3-1/4-Inch by .120-Inch by 20 to 22 Degree Plastic Collated Hot Dipped Galvanized Ring Shank Framing Nail (4,000 per Box)through the gun with no jams and only a couple miss-fires. I am now working away from my big shop compressor and I have borrowed a Bostitch CAP2060P 10.5 Amp 2-Horsepower 6-Gallon Oil-Free Pancake Compressor with a PUR-Hose PUR-38X100 3/8-Inch X 100 Foot Polyurethane 250 PSI Air Hose. It works for about 10 quick shots then you must slow down or even stop while the compressor catches up. I'll shoot another 3,000 stainless and then be done for a while. No problems at all with the nailer

Had to buy a pneumatic framing nailer to replace my Duo-Fast 360 which stopped feeding nails in the middle of a shed half done. Couldn't fix the Duo-Fast without sending it into the shop (Two weeks min.) so looked for the best deal on a replacement that used the same nails. Amazon as usual had the best selection and prices. The Hitachi I bought is excellent and works very good. Strong, (loud but normal) trouble free and the right price.

best framing nailer in its class. out of every gun i have shot the hitachi framing nailers are my first choice. 10,000+ nails in the past few months without a single jam. nail depth is spot on and the gun is light.

I am boggled by negative reviews on the Hitachi NR90AE nailer, have to believe off-brand nails, damaged strip collation and operator error are responsible. I have owned the NR90AE for 3 years, shoot only Hitachi nails and have NEVER had a single jam or miss fire.

Can't shoot 8D and smaller nails? Not for sheathing? ..... Say what? Just shot a box of Hitachi galv 2-3/8" ring shanks into studs through 5/8" sheathing with flawless performance.

Build quality on this "made in Japan" gun is sooooooo superior to all the "made in China" framers out there, super light and balanced, yet powerful with a precise depth of drive adjustment. And you can purchase this high quality tool for less then much of the disposable junk coming out of China, now that's value!

Is it perfect? No, would be nice if Hitachi provided a sky hook and bumpers to protect that beautiful finish and grip sloped surfaces.

I bought this nailer based on brand experience and warranty. However, I was very disappointed. This gun is obviously intended for occasion light use. The first time I took this gun out to the job = After a couple hours of frequent continuous nailing the piston started hanging and nailing was erratic. Often not driving the nails down if at all, misfiring. I think the piston got hot and swelled. I noticed that I could lay the gun down for 10 minutes and it would work well for about a minute. I bought it for the good warranty and due to the good experience I have had with my Hitachi circular saw. But the nailer is going back to the big box store.

Been using this for a week now, shooting varying size nails from framing sinkers to 2-3/8" galvanized ring-shanks. No misfires. Loading is easy. Wish it came standard with a rafter hook, though. I like the depth adjustment - it is fairly consistent in getting the nails flush, although you still have to be careful to keep the head angle and downpressure consistent to ensure consistent depth. Light weight is a good plus. - Framing Nailer - Hitachi Framing Nailer - Nail Gun - Nailer'

Too Expensive - too expensive

*Warning Spoilers*

I usually enjoy Allston's entries in the Star Wars universe, but since the legacy series I've been having trouble finding ways not to complain about them. Not that I didn't enjoy this book, but I was a bit annoyed by certain continuing themes, the price, and the story isn't anywhere as interesting as NJO and pre-NJO books.

The Jedi insanity plot was annoying from the beginning and now has gotten even worse. At least in the beginning the cause was mysterious, but now we know it is caused by a villain straight out of a made-for-tv horror movie. Seriously wtf is up with the Abeloth. When I first read the description of her I didn't know whether to laugh at the ridiculousness of it or weep for the lack of creativity in finding a new enemy for the jedi. She now has more than one body and is a cannibalistic doppelganger with mega force powers?

This book continues the new tradition of post NJO EU books by ignoring common sense for the sake of trying to push towards the goal of the author. So many of the decisions characters make in the book go against common sense and the characters' personalities. for example: there is one part in Conviction where Corran Horn makes a statement about not going after his kids when they run off because when he was in CorSec they taught him not to get too involved in cases where family was involved or something and that he would let others handle it.... now correct me if I'm wrong but...wasn't there a whole, very awesome, book called I, Jedi where he began his Jedi training and went through a huge ordeal to save Mirax when she was captured... seemed a bit personal and dealt with family then....

They did finally overthrow Daala.... I still can't figure out how they would come to the decision to put her in charge. what with the whole trying to destroy the Alliance every year of her life, trying to use giant super weapons to kill everything that went against the empire, still expressing support for the Palpatine way of rule, and the whole trying to commit genocide against all force users thingy. But yeah she seems a bit impartial and level headed. Put her in charge.

There is just so much uselessness to this book and the other books in this series. Less than half the books advance the plot. This whole series should have been finished after a few books. I wish they'd just go back to writing trilogies and short series. They can't all be a success like the NJO. There was more content in the Thrawn trilogy than all of the Fate of the Jedi books combined.

Positive notes: They do developed Ben's character a bit more, and seem to maintain some consistencies in his personality between authors. Vestara's character is also being developed pretty well throughout the book(the rest of the sith seem to be getting less intimidating though). There was a funny scene when Daala was being led into her cell where Tahiri got to wave at her from across the hall and laugh. Leia gets a good fight scene. oh and Artoo makes a few good puns at C3PO's expense. Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Conviction

Let me say that I like Aaron Alston's previous work in SW, but this book felt like a waste of time. I honestly don't know what's going on with SW books since the end of New Jedi Order. Legacy had some really good reads, but the whole "Jacen turns dark" idea just struck me as out of character and poorly explained. Fate of the Jedi seems to have other characters doing things that don't quite feel natural, and some of the story lines, particularly in this installment, feel forced. And every time you tell me more about Boba Fett, you make him less interesting.

There's some good stuff here. The Leia/Han interaction is top notch, and I like the ambiguity of Vestara's character. But the Abeloth story arc just isn't executed well. We follow the villain from planet to planet, learning far more about the planets than the villain! I could handle that formula for a book or two, but it's tired now. And I didn't think it was possible to make Sith boring, but this book really pulls it off, with the exception of Vestara. The Sith are so static in this novel, you won't need the Force to see them coming.

The last two books in Legacy where strong, and made some of the earlier subpar entries worth it. Hopefully they can pull it off in Fate too.

First off, there are lots of spoilers, so beware.

This book is just a continuation of everything that's wrong with the entire Fate of the Jedi series. They have so many plots going on throughout, that everything is random and disjointed. For the most part common sense has been thrown out of the window, and characters make decisions not based on their sound logic, but instead to propel the proposterous plots. The "crazed Jedi" was a dead give away that this series was going to be crummy. These Jedi who are being mentally affected by an ancient and purely evil being known as Abeloth, conveniently think that everyone else in the world is an impostor. They don't know how they know, but they do. Of course, by the time Conviction comes around, they can somehow differentiate between real people and "impostors", based solely off of which is convenient to keep the story going. But what's that? The Sith are back? Oh boy. Of course, that's not enough for a story line of it's own (sarcasm), so we'll just toss it into the many themes of the FOTJ series. On top of that, since Ben Skywalker is now a teenager who needs a love interest, let's make one of the Sith a teenage girl who happens to get stuck with him and his father on their quest to rid the galaxy of Abeloth. Hmmm, what else can we throw in to this whole pot of "WTF Stew"? Oooh, I know. How about two separate coups against Chief of State Daala (one by the Jedi, and one by pro-Imperial conspirators) and things will surely be fun. Also, the annoying ramblings of Tenel Ka's daughter, an incredibly in depth trial of Tahiri Veila (complete with prison antics), Mandalorian war crimes, the life and times of HoloNews journalists, the love and drama of Jaina and Jag plus Zekk and his new girl, and dozens of other obscure and random themes from the Star Wars galaxy can all be found, crammed into this one series. In all, it is all used to fill up the pages of the books so that by the end of every one, you've really made very little progress and are left scratching your head, wondering how on Earth you got so far off course, and accomplished so very little. - Too Expensive'

Weight Loss Tools - omron, walking

This pedometer counts all the steps you take while walking at a moderate pace, during the course of one day. Pressing a button will display the number of steps you have walked so far on that day. Then at midnight it stores the total, and resets the count to zero, ready for the next day's walking. Pressing the button repeatedly will show how many steps you walked on each of the previous seven days. Setup is easy -- you only have to set the time of day. The instructions are confused on one point: when they say "The unit must be positioned horizontally . . ." they really mean vertically, the position it automatically assumes when clipped to your belt.

I see this item listed five times here, but this one is the only one that ships from and is sold by Amazon.com, and qualifies for Super Saver shipping. Omron HJ-150 Hip Pedometer

I've been walking for years and always on the lookout for a good pedometer. Most of them are either too complicated, too cheap or won't stay on my waist band. This one gets 5 stars from me in all areas, plus the numbers are large and easy to see. Though a bit more expensive, it's the perfect pedometer for people who just want to count steps!

My pedometer worked fine for two weeks, and then stopped. The clock works, I've reset it, but for two days it did not reliably register steps. Now it doesn't register at all.

Omron will "fix" it for me, but the cost of shipping it to them and the return (they make you pay for it) is the same as the cost of a new unit.

Reading the reviews it seems some people love their units, but that this failure isn't unique.

I can see the other 7 reviewers are delighted with their unit but my HJ-150 was purchased Sept 14th, stopped working October 12th. The battery is OK because the clock function works, and I can reset the whole unit, it just doesn't register any steps anymore.

For a $12.50 purchase, I'll drop them an email and see if they will replace the unit but I am not going to spend much time on the process. Hopefully Omrom will do the right thing and replace it.

I have tried numerous pedometers, both cheap and not cheap, and they all really seemed to stink. This one is very nice. I was only looking for a counter but this also keeps a week to look back on as well as the time. Nice features. Besides it actually working, the feature I like most is its shape. It is not awkward. It is also small and slim enough to turn the face in towards my body an clip to the inside of my pocket for extra safe keeping while still being comfortable. I don't even know it's there. Great buy!

I liked this step counter. It was accurate; it counts every step. I wore it every day. The only problem is that the clasp that attaches the step counter to one's waistband was tight, difficult to get on so that it would attach well and not fall off. One day at the post office when I bent over to pick something up, the step counter fell off; the back had separated from the rest of the step counter, and although I did not realize it then, the battery and tiny screws that attached the back to the rest of the step counter must have also fallen on the floor. I took the step counter to a watch repair service, and I was told that the step counter could not be repaired unless I brought them the tiny screws. At that point I gave up. I'd say this counter could be improved by putting some kind of leash on it. I would have been happy to pay more if I were sure it would not fall off.

I've purchased several pedometers to track my daily steps, and this one is by far the easiest to use. You just take is out of the box, set the current time and it's ready to go! I love the fact that it resets at midnight to zero so that you are ready for the next day, and also saves your data for the last 7 days so that you can track your progress. This one is a keeper and I've recommended it to all of my friends.

I love this pedometer, it has helped me walk a minimum of 10,000 steps a day and it also counts when I am on the stationary recombant bike. If I have not walked at least 5000 steps a day this pushes me to take a walk around the block or walk to the printer etc.

Unfortunately even though I bought safety straps galore, I was walking one day and did not put it on. Unfortunately I droped it down a hill. I am going to check to see if it still works. So far not :(

My advice, buy the safety strap and use it. - Exercise - Omron - Step Counter - Walking'

Topwater Lures

Used this lure on several different occasions now. It does produce bass which is most important, but I would like to see it with a little better oomph in the pop. The colors look great. Cordless Phone Battery - battery, panasonic

I was looking to buy the Energizer replacement for our Panasonic KX-TGA242W cordless phone which wasn't holding a charge anymore. After reading those reviews, I decided to go with the OEM Panasonic HHR-P105 battery simply because we've had these phones for approximately 3 years or more and just now the Panasonic battery in one phone has died! That's pretty good quality as far as batteries go.

The only problem was that I needed an HHR-P105 battery, and all I could find on here was HHR-P105A. I decided to take a chance, because they appeared to be the same battery on the packaging. Also, after looking around, this battery price was substantially less than going to Radio Shack or Best Buy, and they don't have Panasonic brand either. When it arrived, I charged it a full 24 hours and good as new! The phone works like new again. Here's hoping to another 3 years plus of regular use before we have to order again! Panasonic 2.4V Replacement Cordless Telephone Battery (HHR-P105A)

My phone's charger no longer works, so I have two perfectly good Panasonic 2.4V replacement cordless telephone batteries (HHR-P105A). I'll send the original and the brand new one I just bought here on Amazon for free to the first person who contacts me at goodwatson@hotmail.com. I do not want to throw them away and would like somebody to put them to good use. I've just ordered a new Siemens cordless from Amazon, so they are no longer of use to me.

For $9, you're getting an OEM battery. I purposely waited this long (10 months) to see how well it holds up, and I really haven't had any problems. Considering my first battery that came with the phone lasted about three years, I am hoping the same from this -- but again, in three years, I may want a brand new model phone anyway ;)

What can I say, they were direct replacement for the batteries that I had. They hold a charge in the cordless phones the way the phones were when they were new and I like that they were in the factory packaging. - Panasonic Phone Battery - Cordless Telephone - Panasonic - Battery'

Notebook Computer Bags - notebook computer bags, laptop sleeve

My husband and I were browsing the electronics section at Wal-Mart and there it was: The ACER ASPIRE TIMELINE (5810TZ model) for $600! Before buying my new baby a sleeve, I measured it. The 15.6"-sized screen model is approx 15"x10" -- I wasn't worried about depth b/c the lap top is less than a inch thick. Later that night, I went on the internet to look for accessories on AMAZON... what an ordeal! It took me a good hour to find a sleeve that had comprable measurements. A large majority of the products are standard dimensions -- when the dimensions were actually listed -- and there's not much to chose from for wide screens. So, I kept finding 15"x12", 15.5"x12", 15.4"x12", 14.5"x11.1"... Notice the second measurement is never near 10"? So, then I looked up sleeves for 16" wide screens and the HP ONYX was one of the products. The dimensions were not listed, but it looked about right and is advertized as being able to house up to 16" screens... So, I did a GOOGLE search to find its dimensions (14.9"x10.1"x1.7"). Bingo!

I was suprized at how fast it was delievered. I ordered it late at night on the 31st and it was at my door on the 2nd! So, COMPUTER BRAIN definitely provides speedy service! I was a little disappointed about the shipping fees, though. The sleeve only weighs 11.5 oz and it cost over $7.00 for it to go from KY to CA!

As far as how it fits... it's like a glove! It's as if it was made specially for my laptop! The only complaint I have is that it has a very strong rubbery odor (it's neoprene) for the first several days. Airing it out is definitely recommended! LOL

I would recommend this product to anyone with a 15-16" wide screen (measured diagonally). And remember: MEASURE YOUR LAP TOP BEFORE YOU BUY! (Otherwise, it'll either be too tight or too baggy!) HP 16 Inch Notebook Sleeve - Onyx

After long arduous searching for a case that actually fits the HP ENVY 15; this is it, salvation has finally been found! This sleeve fits it so well, that it is as if HP made this case specifically for the HP ENVY 15. Too bad they aren't to help either on my hunt for a proper sleeve or case.

This sleeve will fit the HP envy snug and safe with almost no unnecessary movement with or without the optional 9 cell extra long life battery slice.

Another plus is the extra compartment for the charger and accessories.

Quality is great in my opinion, I've used numerous cases too; it is comparable to the neoprene cases for apple macbookpro's by incase; but with a unbeatable and super reasonable price.

This is the first time I've bought one of these sleeves - I always used a bag or case before with more storage and padding. But, if all you want to do is protect the laptop from minor scrapes and scratches and keep off the dust, this does the trick. However, if you want to go through airports with it, you might want to consider something with more padding for greater protection. For what it is, it's well made with a good zipper and storage pouch on the front.

I recently purchase an HP Laptop and wanted to a sleeve to keep dust and dirt off the laptop. I was going to buy on sale from Staples for $20. I got is for less than half that from Amazon. I like the sleeve. It matches my laptop. It fits nicely and has an outer pouch where I keep the power cord.

Came package overly well, which was nice. It is made of a thick foam/fabric that seems like it would protect good against small bumps and scratches, decent against against a drop of a table or something, and it seems like it wouldn't do to well against water or a liquid, but I could be wrong (am I'm not going to test it). It has a nice sized pocket for a mouse, power cable, and maybe even a book or two. All the stitching is top notch and the edges are made of a seat-belt material for extra ruggedness. The zippers have large leather pulls which are easy to grab. Proudly displays HP on the front. One minus would be the material seems to grab dust and cat hair. It brushes right off, just semi-annoying. Overall, a good bag for widescreen laptops.

I chose this sleeve to replace the bulky interior case in my rolling laptop bag. It works very well for that purpose and offers the versatility to carry in a tote bag if so inclined. I like the zipper pocket for power cord and mouse. It does not offer any padding, however, so be aware of that before you purchase.

Don't let some of the reviews on here miss lead you. This is for a 16 inch laptop. My 15.6 inch laptop is a little loose, but not that bad.

I wish it was cheaper, but considering I bought a camera case for my girlfriend, made of the same material, and one tenth the size for $10, this isn't a bad deal.

Not the best padding on the corners or the edges

All and all, I'm not estatic over this purchase, but I'm not pissed off either. If I had to do it all over again I might try something else, but that could go either way. - Notebook Sleeve - Notebook Computer Bags - Laptop Sleeve - Accessories'

Kayaking - kayaking

This product arrived without assembly instructions, but didn't take long to assemble after reviewing an online picture--maybe an hour or so. It holds our 65 and 75 pound kayaks with no problem. I've seen other racks that cost double and hold less so we're overall happy with our purchase and happy the kayaks are now off the garage floor. SpareHand Malibu Plus Dual Kayak Storage Rack

Fairly priced from Amazon and well-made, this SpareHand rack will hold up to 4 kayaks, although it comes with hardware brackets for only two. If you have 3 or 4 kayaks, you can get extra brackets from Amazon. The SpareHand Malibu Plus Dual Rack does the job nicely if you have room in your garage or on a covered porch. Note: The literature says it is not for outdoor use and that must be true. Our garage flooded during Hurricane Irene and it has rusted badly. You should follow their restriction not buy this for outdoor use, unless perhaps you live in Yuma or El Paso. Note that this model differs from several other SpareHand kayak racks in that the base has "legs" extending on 4 sides, where other racks extend only on 2 sides. I could find no other differences by inspecting advertisements on line. The printed assembly instructions are outrageously bad and completely unsatisfactory, but you can puzzle out assembling it without much trouble, by looking at the advertisement pictures you will find on line at various sporting goods stores. Assembly takes about half an hour. I am fully satisfied with my rack. It is sturdy, meets my needs and takes up minimal room.

This kayak rack has been great. The instructions were easy to understand and my husband and I were able to assemble it in about half an hour. It's also constructed really well. We're thinking of getting another for our other kayaks!

Recieved my rack on Saturday 9/12/09 and tried to put it together. Things wer going great until I got to the cradles. Two of them had the clamps for the uprights built in. The other two it looks like the clamps are a seperate attachment, an attachment that was not included in the shipment. Being that it was a weekend I was unable to contact anybody about this problem although they did get back to me on the next workday. After quite some time I was able to get my point across that the clamps were missing and was told that they would be shipped as soon as possible. Looks like another ten days before I can either upgrade or lower my rating of this item. Hopefully it will be going up as over all I like what I see.

I needed a decent storage solution for my Pungo 120. The wall space in my garage is already taken up by shelving & because I have young children I didn't want to suspend anything that heavy in the garage overhead in case it fell. This rack was the perfect solution. The directions weren't that great, but it was very simple to assemble anyway (about 20 min.). Since I only have one kayak I use the top brackets to hang my paddle, PFD, & other gear, though I believe it would hold a second kayak with no problem. The feet are adjustable so it can be leveled on an uneven surface. The only thing I wish it had was a set of locking casters so it could be easily moved around the garage. However, based on the design I believe a resourceful person could get a set of wheels at a local hardware store & install them easily, which is what I plan to do.

This storage rack works well. Both our kayaks are off the ground and there was enough room to store other items beneath them. The rack's footprint was larger than we expected, but by putting the kayaks toward the wall we made it fit. Unlike other reviewers, good directions and most parts arrived with it (one screw missing).

The fact that this was shipped without instructions was no big deal. However, it was also shipped without any of the screws needed for assembly. A call to Amazon was not helpful as they did not have the vendor phone number [It is (626) 338-8998 and you will probably need it]. You can also head to your local hardware store for some bolts which doesn't seem right for something that costs over $200. Bolts are Metric #6, sorry I don't have all the lengths required. I found the quality on the parts that were shipped to be just fair. Hope this save you an afternoon on the water rather than at the Home Depot. Disappointing - Kayaking'

Multifunction Printer - ink jet printer cartridges, ink cartridge

I use these in a Canon IP5200. It creates great quality pictures, but does have a few limitations. Anyone thinking of buying an inkjet printer, should always check the price of the ink! A great deal on a printer can quickly turn into a money hole. It has been my experience that these cartridges, while less expensive than other brands, do not yield as many prints as advertised.

These cartridges also have the computer chip built into the tank, which I have had a few issues with. On more than one occasion, the printer stopped recognizing the cartridge and would constantly give errors that the cartridge was missing or empty. In both cases, I contacted Canon and they sent me out a replacement at no charge, so kudos to Canon for that.

Amazon is without a doubt the cheapest and easiest place to get these. Add the savings from the low commitment 'Subscribe and Save' program and no other retailer even comes close. Canon CLI-8 3 Pack C/M/Y Value Pack (0621B016)

With free shipping, Amazon definitely has the best deal on these CLI-8 inks. The 3 pack is especially useful, since the 4 pack comes with photo black, which I seem to never use. I have 6 blacks still which I purchased before the 3 packs were introduced.

I don't know why it's so hard to find this product in the stores, but I haven't found it anywhere except at Amazon. Other than that, it's required by the Canon printer we use (which is a good one and I really like it) and I'm glad Amazon carries it.

I own a Canon MP530 printer. It is by far the best printer I have ever had but buying ink for it locally is sometimes confusing and expensive. With the free shipping buying the CLI-8 ink from Amazon.com is generally both cheaper and much easier. Plus Amazon carries the colors in different package arrangements so I can get the colors I actually need. Why shop anywhere else?

This ink looked fine as printed in my Canon MP610 Pixma, and buying the 3-pack saved us a few dollars, but either the cartridges and/or the printer are very inefficient -- we don't print much in color, and yet the cartridge runs out in what seems like a month or so. It just seems like a built-in inefficient system to bleed us of money.

I am very satisfied with this product.

In addition, the service from Amazon is quite excellent! If a wrong product is shipped, they make it very easy to return...I received my shipment quickly. Their customer service via e-mail or telephone has been very very good and courteous. Their products are less expensive, I am very satisfied as a customer, and would recommend Amazon to any one.

Received my Canon Ink a few weeks ago. Thanks a lot. Great prices. As a matter of fact lower than most office supply stores like Staples, Office Depot, etc. I'll keep buying from you guys until I get a newer printer.

Computer Software - voice to text, voice recognition

The original title of my review was going to be "snookered again," but I've since had a change of heart (and sound card). I originally purchased Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 4 years ago which was a total piece of junk. Upon hearing a short review on NPR, it sounded like things had improved.

First off, caveat emptor. You need a good sound card. Nuance is not very helpful here. Their website/docs simply state you need a Sound Blaster 16. I don't know if it's occurred to them you can't purchase a Sound Blaster 16 card anymore (nor would you want to), and they should just bite the bullet and present a list of cards that work well (like they do for microphones). I bought a Sound Blaster X-fi XtremeMusic which seems to work. Second, you need a hefty machine. For me this is a 2.4 GHz dual processor XP workstation with a gig of RAM. The box says you can get by with 512 MB of RAM and a 1 GHz processor, I'm not sure I believe this.

Once you have the right hardware in place the software seems to work fairly well. This review was dictated using the software. However, I'm not giving them five stars because they still seem to suffer from poor software engineering. As an example, take the set up and training process. I was waiting for a new sound card to arrive and thought I would try using my onboard sound card built into my Dell. The setup process did claim that the sound quality was insufficient. Unfortunately, navigating out of the process was impossible leaving me stuck at the "welcome to general training" screen. When the new sound card arrived, Dragon was still stuck looking at the on board sound system and had no UI to allow me to use the new sound card. My only solution was to disable the onboard sound system which luckily forced Dragon back into configuration mode where I could reselect my microphone parameters. A second example of amateur software development was an error message ("can't load compatibility module") that is caused by Dragon's attempt to build a link between icons on the desktop and voice commands. This message wouldn't be so bad if it were not accompanied by random crashes ("dragon is unable to respond, please close all applications using..."). A recently posted knowledge base article states that the error message only comes up if links are invalid on the desktop, and suggest removing things using RegEdit (I kid you not). After uninstalling a SonyEricsson desktop link that I wasn't using, the message went away along with the random crashes.

In summary, Dragon has matured from snake-oil ware (v4) to usable. However, they need to make an investiment in the non-voice rec modules of their software. Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 Preferred [OLD VERSION]

I have long looked at voice dictation software and been disappointed. I am a professional writer and the possibility of dictating my work at least in draft form has always been so appealing that I tried every generation of voice dictation software going back to the early 1990s.

I received NaturallySpeaking 9 last night and captured the screen cast of the out of box experience. While I did not achieve recognition in the upper 90th percentile, I did achieve recognition significantly better than any I have seen before in previous generations. Fans of voice dictation have long said that, "if only you train the application for a few weeks, you can achieve quite practical levels of recognition. " I imagine that's true, but I've never had an initial experience positive enough to make me try.with NaturallySpeaking, the out of box experience is so good that I am willing to continue working with the application.

While I do own a hefty system, dual processors and a few gigabytes of RAM, unlike the other reviewer I've had a very positive experience using only the motherboard's onboard sound.

I won't give it five stars, because I do think that Nuance is overstating the recognition statistics out of the box: while it's extremely good, better than anything I've seen, it is not, for me, only one or two words in 100 that I need to fix.

I've dictated this review, and made around five corrections. Several paragraphs were recognized flawlessly. Given that I type 90 words per minute I think that I would've been able to type this review in approximately the same amount of time, but for slower typists, or for those of us who occasionally dictate documents into recorders for later transcription, I believe that NaturallySpeaking has reached a tipping point and is worth the money.

As an owner of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 7 professional I am here to tell you that this version is so much better and I am totally amazed. It makes very few errors and you don't have to train it as much as the other versions. In fact I spent about 20 minutes training program and it works great. One thing I did differently this time is that I bought a high-end noise canceling microphone because I don't like using a headset. Take a look at the Buddy Desktop Mic. It is totally awesome and it works very well with this program. In fact have dictated this entire review using the program and the new mic. Do make sure that you have a high-end computer with plenty of RAM. My system:

Intel Pentium 3.2 GHz

one gig of RAM and NVIDIA 6600 GT PCI express video card.

It took me a lot of research to find the right microphone and program but this is definitely it. I hope this review helps you and happy dictating!

PLEASE NOTE -- I'm TYPING this paragraph, but the REST of the review was dictated (unedited for insertion here, except where noted therein) by using Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 Preferred, using the minimum required training, even though the product is advertised as requiring NO training. Use your imagination to figure out what I was really saying during that dictation!

The first thing I thought was important to note in this review was that there are a couple full Asia's comments that were used in the advertising for this product on Amazon.com. First, the advertisement states that, "no script reading required to get started", and "require no training," which are both statements that are utterly untrue. As soon as installation is completed, you are asked to begin training for the new user -- just as in previous versions. I'm as shocked as such blatantly false statements could be made in the product's manufacturer or not get in trouble for making them. When you began in and immediately insisted she go to the standard training, in fact I think it's the same training required in Virgin eight with the same selections. In fact, I tried starting dictation without doing any training, and I was informed that the user files were not ready to allow this user to begin dictation yet; instead, I was required to get into the same training as was required in Virgin eight before I could do any dictation. Thus, the reason for my giving this product such a low rating out of the box is because of the false advertising, backspace; if it gets better I mean in my original rating to reflect improvements in the product if they happen during further use in training. "Mean in my" in that last sentence was actually "I may emend" (had to type those three words by hand).

As to whether this program's (that word originally came out as "Koran's"!) dictation is 99% correct as adverse ties in the description, you can be the judge from this dictation's accuracy or inaccuracy.

Oh yes, I also had the same problem of us have had with insistence of either register and reregister and reregister the product.

It is very possible, and that it will improve with use. However, I'm very frustrated that I opted to delete my previous user files from Virgin eight because I was told by the advertisement of a product that there was no dictation necessary which suggested that I did not need mild user files. The word "mild" in the previous sentence actually was "my old." So much for 99% accuracy. So far, I can't really tell any difference in original accuracy over Virgin eight, other than the fact that the Dragon bar is graphics look a little different. The tutorials are the saying with the exception of a small addition of conveying its(that was Advanced) tutorials covering a small amount of information. The training looks the same date, the N. accuracy at star looks about the same, as Virgin eight. I hope this will improve with training, but I have to say that I'm definitely not throw for false advertising regarding a lack of training needed to begin using this product.

Other than the addition of an extra installation disk or a DVD, I'm really beginning to wonder if there is any difference for improvement with Virgin nine over Virgin eight, other than the fact that I just blew another [...], after the rebate a having gotten yet, to "upgrade." And, by the way, I truly do not speak ungrammatical he, which I'm guessing is the impression you getting from the gobbledygook you reading here. Point being, what comes out of my mouth does not as necessarily equal what comes out on the page. Again judge for yourself the insistence that there is no training needed you can start right away and then it is 99% accurate. That is In Oh TE what I just said, and so much for the autopunctuation functions accuracy. Good grief! Even one I try to correct a nonsensical vacation, what comes out of my correction is anime remotely what appears on the screen to be oh so incredibly accurate Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9. Oh yes brother, that's got to be in 99th percentile for sure exhalation mark.

Addendum (this is typed, not dictated) --

Another reviewer here, Chris B, is also absolutely right about the "uninvited guest" InstallShield Update Manager that surreptitiously gets installed with DNS9 Preferred. I didn't see it until after posting my initial review. This "Service" even becomes a permanent fixture in your CONTROL PANEL, and it apparently now "manages" my updates for Jasc and Corel products on my computer in addition to DNS9 Preferred. After finding that it does not work to fix the update error problem (see below), I've simply firewall-blocked its recurrent attempts to access the Internet for unknown/undisclosed reasons. Really annoying, and Chris B is also correct in that I also can not find ANYTHING about this unannounced, background add-on program in the Nuance DNS9 documentation.

Interestingly, in their "knowledge base," there is the following disclaimer: "The InstallShield Update Manager is not included with any ScanSoft product, but is downloaded from the InstallShield website. To un-install the Update Manager utility, download the remover from Installshield's website." In other words, it doesn't come on the discs, but during installation, they download a third party's program off of the Internet and install it on your computer without your knowledge or permission. Sound comforting?

Additionally, my installation of DNS9 can't recognize the fact that the program has been registered (successfully according to the online web page, but unsuccessfully according to the DNS9 on my computer!) THREE times now, so it refuses to check for updates, giving me the "Error 13003: Version Not Registered with the Update Service" message that another reviewer here has also posted about. So, the program won't check for updates. How can I fix that?

The grandiosely named "InstallShield Update Manager" does not function to fix this problem (even when I allow my firewall to let it connect to the Internet), so I dunno, but I can get one "free" help call with Nuance, but any further ones cost $19.99 per "incident." Even worse, to email for support, you have to complete a "Problem Report Form," which costs $9.95 per "incident." I've rarely seen a company charge for email tech support. So, to get this program installed properly, I'm supposed to pay THEM to help me debug THEIR product? Really revolting. Again, to borrow from Chris B's review, he's absolutely right about the lack of "good ol' customer service with this mob."

The dictation quality is improving slowly, though it's still nowhere near 99% accurate as advertised, and these other headaches, backdoor sneakery, and the CS money racket just to get the product functional make me want to deduct a star from my original review. I won't do that, though, in hopes that this revision isn't "inadvertently withheld in processing" for a week by this site's management as the first version of my review for this product was.

My Hardware Info -- Dell Dimension XPS Gen 3, Intel Pentium 4 550 w/HyperThreading (HT) Technology (3.40GHz), 1.00GB RAM, Windows XP SP2, Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS (WDM), Telex H-531 DIGITAL USB Microphone

Update -- May 07, 2008 -- Broke my Telex microphone while moving and replaced it with a Plantronics Foldable USB Stereo Headset (Optimized for Laptop Use) (Audio 470 USB). Accuracy is substantially better than the Telex, even with minimal training. I can't add any stars to my review, though, because even though this microphone works better, DNS 9 Preferred says that the sound quality of the Telex was better than the Plantronics, even when the Plantronics is functioning better. See my review on the Plantronics microphone for details. - Computer Software - Voice Recognition Software - Voice Recognition - Voice To Text'
