26 Inch - lcd, samsung

The Samsung LN26D450 26" LCD tv has been great. The picture is remarkable. There is minimal ghosting during fast action video, the colors are full and vibrant. Much better than older 26" LCD tv's I've looked at in the past. The Price of the new 2011 models are much better than last year models as well (~$100 cheaper). The menus are very easy to use in making adjustments. The remote is also very easy to use. It has all the necessary Component and HDMI slots for setting up Directv/Cable box, Blu Ray players, and more. It has it all!!

The only aspect of this tv that is not perfect is the sound quality. I have yet to see a LCD tv with good sound. I have a 52" LCD tv in the living room and it was awful. I had to get a Bose system to finally get some good sound. This 26" tv is better than other tv's sound quality I have heard, but its still not perfect. I use this for my bedroom, so the sound is perfectly sufficient for my needs. No matter what lcd tv you buy nowadays, your pretty much forced to buy an audio system to along with it. Overall, this tv is great and I would buy it again if I had to. When looking at the other 26" tv options out there, this tv exceeds expectations! Samsung LN26D450 26-Inch 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

I needed a TV for my bedroom, and this is perfect!!! I did a lot of research as to which brand to buy, and Samsung was a top choice. I actually purchased three Samsungs at the same time for three different rooms, and love all of them!!! All were extremely easy to attach the base to, set up, and light enough for me to carry each by myself. Great choice!!!

I purchased this TV fairly recently and it's fantastic. The picture quality is amazing. The audio quality is good especially compared to other LCD TV's. It's somewhat thin but clear. The design of the TV is very nice and classy. Has all the connections that you'll need for whatever device(s) you want to hook up.

Great value. Highly recommended.

My brothers and I purchased this tv for our mom in the nursing home. She absolutely loved it. The perfect picture bursting with beautiful colors amazed her. Everyone that comes into the room says how nice it is. The size of the tv is perfect since the room is small and she sits close to the set. It takes up less room on the dresser than her other one did. Everyone is very happy with it.

I purchased this TV from Amazon about 2 weeks ago after researching options to replace our older 22 inch Sony in our bedroom. By far this TV was the best priced at the time from Amazon for the features offered. Picture is crisp and the sound is good at the 45 - 50 level which would be normal for a TV of this size. The market for 26 inch is small. I'd stay away from some of the off brands. Stay with Samsung, Panasonic, LG or as a last result Sony. Vizio was described as a disposable TV by a TV serviceman that I know.

This was ordered because of recommendations of previous buyers and from buyers guides on the Internet. It was easy to hook up, easy to use and excellent quality! I have had excellent results with Samsung products.DLB

Although I heard some folks knock the off-angle viewing and the audio in this set, for my purposes those are great. I am using it in a bathroom, so surround sound isn't a big deal to me. The normal stereo is fantastic - and quite loud. And in my 10x14 bathroom, I can see the screen clearly at any angle (except directly under it of course); even when the sunshine is coming through the big window in the morning. So far, I haven't found anything I don't like. I would recommend anyone look at this seriously. - Lcd - Samsung'

Hitachi Brad Nailer - brad nailer, nails

I have a Dewalt cordless 18-guage nailer that I use for quick handyman projects. I keep this assortment kit inside the tool's case. It is small, clear and has everything from small to large for every need. I refill it from one-size packs of 1000+ nails that I can't fit in the tool's case. Senco A209909 18-Gauge-by-1-2-Inch Electro Galvanized Variety Pack Brads

Variety pack supplied a good selection of brads for most projects. Once you determine the type you need, you can order a box of them. Better than buying a box and finding out they aren't suited for your project.

I bought these nails for use with the Hitachi brad nailer I bought on Amazon at the same time. The nails came in a variety of sizes and functioned flawlessly. I did not experience any miss fires or loading problems. I don't know how much credit goes to these nails or or the great Hitachi brad nailer, but both work great together. If you need just one size, I would only order the single size pack, however this variety pack was great for my needs and included plenty of nails in each size. - Senco - Brad Nailer - Brad Nailers - Nails'

Office Supplies - clear, labels

We bought these to use on our save-the-date cards and wedding invitations, and they worked out great. Just the right size for regular envelopes, and the look was exactly what we were going for.

One suggestion - if you're not using the whole page of labels, and want to use the remaining labels later, take a piece of white paper, and tape it over the labels you are not using. The labels get darker every time you run them through the printer. It's hard to notice on the page, but once you affix them to the envelope, they can look a bit dirty. Avery Easy Peel Address Labels for Inkjet Printers, 1 x 2.625 Inches, Clear, Pack of 750 (08660)

These address labels are such time savers! I am getting married and was thinking about paying a lot extra to have the company print my return address on the backs of all the envelopes but figured I'd give this a shot before ordering. I'm so glad I did!

I thought figuring out how to line everything up on microsoft word would be a huge hassel but if you go to www.avery.com all you have to do is look up the labels you are purchasing and they provide a free download of "avery wizard" which allows you to simply input whatever addresses you need printed and configures microsoft word accordingly. It also has the option of either filling the whole page with the same address or putting a different address in each block. No hand writing a million addresses for me!

Now that I am the committee secretary for my son's Boy Scout troop, I volunteered to set up a troop newsletter. Well, writing the newsletter turned out to be the easy part - the hard part was either hand-writing the envelopes, or stuffing the envelopes through my printer one at a time. Now that is no longer a problem.

All I have to do now is feed a sheet of these labels through my printer, and I can print up a batch of mailing labels and be all ready. Setting up the format through my word processor was quick and easy, and the actual printing is a snap. So far, I have printed quite a few pages of these, and I have experienced absolutely no problems with labels coming off inside the printer or anything like that.

So, if you need to address a lot of envelopes, get these labels, they will make your life MUCH easier...they did mine! I highly recommend this product.

Not sure what the issue was but each time I printed a sheet of labels for my baby shower invites, the ink smeared! I have a new 3-in-1 HP printer and the ink would not dry to the labels. Other than that I love the clear look and they are very easy to peel off and they make the envelopes look neat and crisp. If anyone has any suggestions on what I may have done wrong...please let me know! I tried different settings and nothing worked! - Clear - Avery - Inkjet - Labels'

Wall Stickers

These appliques do not have a solid white background, but a translucent, almost clear background, so the wall color shows through the picture. It's worst on the whites in the picture, which only appear white on the removable backing because the backing is white, but it also affects the lighter colors. These look okay on a light colored wall, but I'd avoid placing these on dark walls. (Note that the giant appliques do have a solid white background and look much better.) They did maintain their peel-and-stick properties during several moves, are easy to handle, and are made with a good quality (not flimsy) vinyl-like material. RoomMates RMK1154SCS Marvel Heroes Peel & Stick Wall Decals

Generous amount of P&S superheroes, you will love the price, you can't beat it!! The vibrant colors lit up my 4 year old's room, and the best part for parents, there is NO MESS!! You just peel them and stick them where you want, and if the

spot is not right, then you can remove them as much as you want!! Phenomenal item for toddler/pre-schoolers who love the whole superhero thing!!

These are great, my four year old loves them. They stick and restick and are very durable, the only problem is his bedroom walls are blue and the translucent background makes the stickers hard to see. They work much better on white walls.

lots of characters to play with! Leaves no marks behind. Let a 3 year old put them up and they were sturdy enough to not rip and they restuck when we moved them around just like the directions promised. Purchased other products of this brand and they work jsut as well

These were a gift for my 6 year old son. We recently added on to our house and I really didn't want to put any holes in the walls or mess up the new paint, but I did want my son to be able to decorate his new room. I found these and thought I would take my chances and try them. These worked out great. We have had these for about a month and you can still peel them off and reapply them. They haven't messed up the walls at all and my son has a great time rearranging his room every once in a while. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because with some of the bigger ones or any that have a small piece like a foot or a hand you have to be careful peeling them off or they rip. I have just told my son to let me help him peel them and as long as you peel slowly they do not rip. Otherwise this is a wonderful idea for any room.

These were just the thing i needed 4 my toyroom walls.Easy 2 put up but not easy 4 my grandsons 2 take bak down. They're toddlers and love superheroes. These r inexpensive, colorful and go great w/other roommates products. Great purchase. Grandma Theresa'

Portable 12v Air Compressor - portable power, air compressor

A great ergonomically designed little jump start unit.

I love the fact that it can be left plugged in perpetually

and will take care of itself. I'm not mechanically inclined

so the less I need to do the better.

The only complaint I have about it is that it doesn't come

with a cord to plug into the wall. You have to get a heavy

duty extension cord to connect it to the wall, and they

never tell you that when you are reading the product

description. For the price of this item, I think it should

come with a simple short extension cord. Energizer 84020 12V All-In-One Jump-Start System with Built-In Air Compressor and Power Inverter

If it weren't for my All in One, I would have been dead in the water, literally, on Lake Lewisville in Texas. Needless to say, we ran the stereo & fish finder WAY longer than we should have and found ourselves stuck in a cove in the middle of nowhere. We brought the all in one, with the intention of just using it to inflate to tubes for the kids, but the Jump Start feature is what really saved us. I didn't even realize that it had a light on the handle (thank you wife for noticing) but that came in handy too trying to jumpstart a boat in the dusk while mosquitoes were starting to attack! I have since recommended it to many of my co-workers and fishing buddies.

This jump-starter, air compressor, inverter, is of excellent quality and usefulness. As mentioned in other reviews, it would be nice if they included an AC power cord; and possibly a DC power/charging cord for the price. This is a fairly large unit and takes up a large amount of room in a trunk or the back of a station wagon/hatchback. It charges fast and has plenty of reserve power to start our motor home or inflate large tires. Great carry handle.

UPDATE 19 May 2011: The user manual was missing. Now I need it to check something. Item itself is pretty user friendly. Tried to download manual on website from manufacturer (UPGI.com) but no manuals or documents available from support. None available from Energizer. Tried Google. No one has uploaded manual yet. Finally found support 800 number for UPG Inc. which is also a wholesale/retail sales number. Nice lady answered. She took my name, email, telephone, address, etc. Said she would "look around" for one and send it "somehow" if she finds one.

Apparently, this is a "marketing arrangement" where they buy the use of the Energizer name, then import and distribute it.

Design pretty good. Sales-marketing good. Support not so good. Technical support essentially non-existant. Downgraded to two stars. Will post another update if I ever get the manual.

I was intimidated by all the other industrial looking jump starters but this one is so easy to use: just follow the numbers printed right on the starter 1,2,3! This is the starter for people who are uncomfortable messing with car or other batteries.

I spent a few weeks researching different jump starters and I wanted something that was easy to use, had a built in float charger, air compressor and was cost effective.

This unit fit the bill and the additional features (plug-ins) is a bonus.

These boxes are basically a battery you charge and use it to start your car when your battery is dead. When you charge batteries you must be careful NOT to overcharge...meaning, you can not just plug them in and leave them until you are ready to use them 1, 2, 9 months later. The overcharge will literally cook the battery and render it useless. Suprisingly there are very few jump boxes on the market with built in float chargers...meaning, when the battery is fully charged it will go into a float mode and trickle charge the battery not overcharge.

I have used this box 5-6 times over the last 4 months and it has performed flawlessly...even started our 2005 Diesel truck and that takes some power!

Agree with many of the other users the box should come with a cord to plug it in...another $10 at the store and the cables could be just a touch longer as it is sometimes difficult getting to a grounded location with the negative cable.

All in all I knew about the need for a power cord and cable length going in and I felt this was the best product for the price...value!

I bought this charger to replace an old charger (Duracell brand) that had worked wonders for me for years...but finally gave out. This Energizer charger works really well and includes an air compressor, with which I topped off all four tires (added 10 psi to each tire...I know I waited too long to inflate them) and it worked like a champ. Only drawback this charger has is it needs an extension cord to charge it (spent less than $10 on a 12ft one from H--- D----). This model has a built in sensor to avoid overcharging, so you can leave it plugged in until you need it without overcharging the battery. Very happy with this purchase.

The Energizer All-In-One is a great item to have when you take road trips. My husband and I were on our way to Arkansas for a vacation and suddenly a low tire! We were miles away from any gas station and remembered that the All-In-One was in the trunk. We aired up our tire and made it to our destination on time. I think everyone should have this in their car. Highly recommended!

I purchased my all in one to take to the lake for memorial weekend.

In one weekend, I boosted a friends jet skis several times, put air in the tires of the fifth wheel and ran my laptop while sitting by the lakes edge.

I look this handy product and have others wanting to buy them.

Simple and easy to use and affordable power.

Biggest flaw: it does not came with a power cord for charging! Add another $10~$30

minor flaw: it's round design also has a round (bevelled) base that is extremely slippery. It's always on a different corner of my trunk... and i have a rubber mat there.

expected flaw 1: the tire filler is ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES. otherwise it takes 2min per PSI increment on my car. Also, the gauge is really dumb. while most cars you have to fill around 30psi the gauge goes all the to zero. so you have NO idea if it's 20, 30 or 40psi. let alone 32 or 35!!!

expected flaw 2: It will not work on bigger engines. I knew that and my i6 car is fine with it (never have to use for intended purpose so far) but helping a friend with a V8 was a futile exercise.

good thing: used it several times to charge my mobile with gps when i forgot the car charger but had the wall plug charger in the backpack!

durability: it's holding up for some time. but the green led is stuck inside the unit now... maybe because of all the sliding it does in the trunk. - Power Supply - Air Compressor - Portable Power - Portable 12v Air Compressor'

Miniplug To Rca Adapter

For those who are not sure what this product does...it connects a single headphone jack (found on portable audio equipment) to right/left audio jack connectors on an audio receiver. So if your looking to hook up say your mp3 player or portable cd player to the receiver of your home stereo system look no further, you've found the right product.

I use this Belkin splitter to attach my muvo (mp3 flash player) and ,sometimes, my mp3 portable iriver cd player to my stereo system. Works great. I don't have a problem with the connection being loose, but I don't have an ipod to test this out with. My mp3 cd players and the few flash mp3 players I've tried work fine with this. Belkin, as usual, offers a quality product.

Cheap, works well, recommended. Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter 1-Mini Plug/2-RCA Plugs (6ft)

I purchased this splitter because I have tv shows on my laptop that I would rather watch on my 42'' Plasma HDTV, and unfortunately S-video cables don't transmit sound as well as video. So I bought this, plugged it into the headphone jack on my laptop and into the Audio inputs on my tv, and low and behold it worked like a charm! Finally I don't have to watch on a big screen while listening to the speakers on my laptop...

Don't let them fool you.

I love those endearing geeks at the Apple store as much as the next guy, but- I swear- they'll look you straight in the eye and try to convince you that you need to spend lots of cash if you want to play your iPod through your stereo.

And you do need to play your iPod through your stereo. Once you've gotten into the spirit of things, once you've spent those lonely hours crafting your playlists, you can't go back to shuffling CDs for your guests. At this point I have my "Warming Up" playlist, which transitions to the "Early Happening" list, then "Now We're Cooking" and finally the "Cooling Down" playlist. I even got carried away and made my Shiva playlist. In the completely unexpected and unfortunate event of my premature death ["God forbid! Khas Vesholem!" then spitting three times], please check my iPod for a list to play on shuffle mode during the nights of intense mourning. Enjoy the tunes. Some are meant to tug at the heart strings but others are a rollicking good time. Turn to each other and remark on what a shame it is, "of all people, Marc would have enjoyed this the most."

I got off topic there, sorry, but the point is, you need these cords to play your iPod or MP3 player through your stereo, but that's all you need. Now I know there are audiophiles out there who will argue the importance of spending a lot more money on a product that is better sound quality. I have a buddy who talks about this stuff all the time. He told me that, even the overtones that are out of the range of human hearing need to be transmitted faithfully because your body can feel the difference in the vibrations. He said it with such authority that I believed him. You know the type. He takes over the bar at parties because he knows the exact right way to mix drinks. He can talk endlessly about barbecue sauce. But, one day, he told me he really likes that really insipid James Blunt song. He even argued that it was well written. I try not to be judgmental but I just can't take him seriously anymore. Anyway, I don't get worked up about sound quality. It wasn't that long ago that we all listened to music on tapes with that hissing background noise, or listened to LPs with their pops and scratches, and it was fine. Just tune into the music and don't worry about the other stuff, take some breaths, work on your radical acceptance skills and you should be okay.

Cable works great and the length is just right for what I intended to use it for. With most cable purchases, it is strongly recommended that the buyer know exactly what length is needed. Too long and it gets bulky and cumbersome, not to mention it doesn't look great to have cables tangled everywhere. Too short and you'll be buying yet another cable.

I found this cable to be really useful for connecting my PC to a home theater TV system. Most PC's come with the standard DVI port and that hooks up to a flat-screen via a DVI/HDMI connector. HDMI can transmit/receive both digital video and audio. Unfortunately, the PC DVI port only transmits digital video.

This cable will solve that conundrum by allowing the audio from the PC to go to a home theater system that has the Red/White (also called the L/R or R/L, I don't recall) port to be connected. Just hook up the black 3.5 mm jack to the PC audio-out and the Red/White to the sound system and the connection's done.

Some work on the home theater or flat-screen settings may need to happen. This does take some thinking of and visualisation of the setup to be done, preferably before any work's done. Once it's done, you've got an internet TV setup w/o buying any special electronics besides the PC, flat-screen and maybe the home theater sound system.'

Lifetime Updates - lifetime updates, gps

just received my new GPS today, plugged it into my mac, and installed tomtom's mac version of their home software. everything has worked well so far and the free map update installed fine. there are two main things that purchasers need to know:

1) space is very limited on the device. there is only 2 GB of internal flash memory and out of the box there was less than 50 MB free. the very first thing you should do is to delete voices in languages you don't use. this will free up a couple/three hundred MB. they can get backed up to your computer so you could always put them back in the future. once a bit of space is freed up you'll be able to update the device without issue. after removing spanish and french voices, running update which installed a new dave voice, and then installing the free map update i was left with 89 MB free. when i tried to run update before removing the voices, the unit warned me about lack of space and aborted without creating any further problems. maybe the mac version of home is more robust than the windows one in this respect.

2) the device only supports USB 1.1 transfers which max out at a bit over 1 MB/sec and can be slower. so doing a full backup or a map update will take quite a while (1-2 hours) and this is normal.

for me, those limitations are more than offset by the large, bright screen, text2speech capability, crowd-sourced map/route updates, and cheaper southern africa maps (we're moving there soon). especially given the cheap sale price i found. i will provide updates as i put unit through paces on cross-country trip and then intercontinental move..... TomTom XL 340TM 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Lifetime Traffic & Maps Edition)

I'm pretty tech savvy and have used different GPS devices in the past. I chose Tomtom over Garmin mainly due to tomtom HOME support, better user interface: tomtom has more info on the screen including the street name you're driving on.

Most negative reviews here are from issues updating map which is larger than the old one (about 5 Mb larger) and causes error.

but it's simple to go around it.

1. connect to home computer. turn the unit on. select Yes to connect. Tomtom Home will install on your computer.

2. on Tomtom HOME menu, go to "Manage my ONE XL". On Items on Device, click voices. you can back up then delete all foreign computer voices (recorded voice files are small, so doesn't matter). just keep DAVE, and Susan computer voices( you need at least one computer voice for spoken street names). You should free up about 130 Mb (much more than you need)

3. now you can update new map with no problem. it does take a long time. after you're done, you still have 125 Mb extra to download customized items, map corrections in the future. customized car symbols are really cool, as are start up and shut down images. these customized items and map corrections are so small: tiny to 0.5 Mb that with > 125 Mb free, you can keep updating for years to come.

Pros: 4.3 inch screen, great routing, advanced lane guidance (it does work well), IQ route (faster route based on historical traffic data), very quick GPS fix <30 sec (but you need to connect to computer at least every 7 days so that a GPS file can be updated to help fix signal quickly), a little longer for a cold start or if you forget to sync with your computer more than 7 days, but it's still around 1 minute or less to fix the signal. also very strong signal, almost full bar inside my house. Text to speech (for spoken street names) is computer voice, so it's OK. recorded voices are nicer but unable to do text to speech. the included Easyport mount is great, simple, stable.

Cons: the screen brightness at 100% is still not as bright as I want (I also use Tomtom Navigator 6 on my smartphone with better contrast, brightness) but you still can see fine on a sunny day. The computer voices for text to speech are not as clear when you drive and play music.

In summary, this tomtom has a lot of great features for the price. if you don't need bluetooth (for hands free call with your cell phone, which is not good anyway because your volume always appears tiny to the other end), FM transmitter (which is not practical if you need to play your CD in the car), or live traffic receiver (which is spotty based on the info I've read), This 340S is the one to get. most people own smartphones these days with internet, so they can get live traffic, up to date points of interest from Google map, play mp3 and pictures. So you don't really need those features from a GPS device (which is more expensive)

This is my 3rd Tom Tom and i always buy them refurbished beacuse they look and work new (Comes with a 6 month warranty) ! I got the unit out of its box and immediately hooked it up to my computer. After a few seconds the unit started and connection was made ( if you never had a tom tom unit, it will download the software for you) i immediately clicked on "latest map guarantee" and it told me that there was a new map available and it was free for me to download ! It took me afew hours to do the download and get the new map and now i have a brand new map in my refurb unit :) I turned the unit on when i was in the car for the first time and it took 5 seconds for the unit to find where we were !

The screen is very big so it is very easy to enter address and do the settings. The lane assist feature is great now i know where to stay on the highway and never miss a turn. I used it under the train tracks( Bronx NY) and just like my older tom tom never lost any signal and kept up with my speed and turns. IQ routes are great it knows where there will be traffic (gets this info from mapshare not live traffic but uses historical data) and suggests other routes for you to take. Map share is great so even if your map gets old you still get updates from other drivers so it is like getting free maps everytime you hook the unit up to your computer.

Update 10/3/2010

I have been using this device for about 7 months and i am still very happy with it and not willing to upgrade or change it to another yet ! My rating is still 5 stars because this unit never failed on me ! did it give me 1 or 2 bad turns ? yes it did but this is acceptable and it was minor. Battery is still great gives me over 1 hr without the cord. Everything works perfectly so as i said before don't think twice just buy this refurbished unit ! - Tomtom Xl 340s - Lifetime Updates - Tomtom Gps - Gps'

Acne Treatment - salicylic acid, acne treatment

My 17 year old daughter has used this for a couple of weeks now and the breakouts on her face have cleared up. She is also using the "Neutrogena Acne Stress Control, Power Foam Wash." She had tried many different products including some very expensive acne kits sold on TV and they did not work. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment 2oz

This product does everything it claims. It clears up acne gently and moisturizes your skin at the same time. It also moisturizes enough so you don't have to use another moisturizer afterwards.

I used to use Proactiv and I have really oily skin that dries out easily if I use too harsh of products. I find I have to have a delicate balance of acne clearing ingredients and moisturizers otherwise I have either really oily or really dry skin.

Before using this product along with the Power Foam Wash has made my skin clearer, smoother and softer then I ever saw it while using Proactiv or any of the other systems I have tried. I love the tingling sensation I get after using this and how light it is on my skin. I went from having a bunch of zits on my forehead to very small if any zits on my forehead. And if I do breakout, they are much smaller and go away much quicker then ever before.

I fully recommend the Foaming Power Wash and the 3 in 1 hydrating acne treatment. Not only are the products priced fairly, I have had both for two months and haven't used half the bottles yet. I also don't worry about acne anymore or what my face will look like daily. I have to use less makeup to cover up acne and both of these products fully deserve the 5 star ratings I gave them in my reviews.

My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination.

When I first tried this product, I have to admit that I was skeptical because everything else on the market seems to operate under the assumption that it has to be harsh to work. Thankfully Neutrogena made an effective acne product that doesn't leave me red and flaky, even after a few months of use.

Morning: Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash and this product. (Also, I use Neutrogena skin soothers stick concealer and L'oreal Bare Minerales foundation for my make-up.)

Night: Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub every other day (the Neutrogena scrub that's supposed to go with this system made me break out), Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash, this product, and then Neutrogena On-The-Spot treatment all over my entire face.

Everyone is different, so this might not work for you, but I hope you find something that does. Good luck!

I'm 24 and have been dealing with mild acne since my teens. I saw an ad for this product in a magazine and decided to give it a shot. My family and friends have always recommended me many products, so believe me, I've been around the block and tried many things, even seen a dermatologist. My main goal was to reduce the redness (staining) on my face and get rid of the blackheads around my nose, I also get breakouts around my chin area frequently. Within two weeks of using this I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. It's smooth, and is evenly toned. It's reduced nearly all the redness I've been looking at for YEARS. The blackheads on my nose are nearly all gone, and for the first week I had to deal with a few breakouts because I could see this product was cleaning deep down in my pores and bringing all that "gunk" up to the surface. My face looks great! This product has a mild cucumber scent which I love and HAS NOT dried my face out in the least. I'm 110% happy and completely blown away to find something that has worked for less than $10, after the hundreds I've spent on other products! Thank you!!!

I have been using this product (along with the foaming wash and scrub in the Acne Stress line) for about two months now. I apply a generous amount of the treatment in the evening and in the morning. My face looks and feels amazing. The treatment goes on smoothly and absorbs into the skin within 2-3 minutes. It does hydrate my skin and my breakouts are reduced in frequency, severity, and duration. As a bonus, this preps my skin beautifully for application of concealer, moderate powder, and blush every morning. Not only does my skin itself look better, it's a much better substrate for the minimal makeup I need these days!

I love this acne gel, it is my very favorite! I can't buy it anymore except on the internet. I buy like 3 or 4 at a time. I fear this product is being phased out or something. If you are middle-aged like me and have acne-prone skin, this is the bomb. It works and does not irritate. It is the best acne gel I could find and I have tried them all.

I bought this like 2 months ago at Walmart, and it's amazing! It doesn't dry out your skin like most salicylic acid products, meaning you can apply it over large-ish areas, instead of just a spot treatment. I really love how it reduces redness, and it does everything extremely fast. It also dries clear (as long as you don't glop it on)so you can apply it in the morning, and by the afternoon, a flare-up can be substantially reduced. I've heard good things about Neutrogena's stress control line, but so far this is the only thing I've tried; but it definitely makes me curious about the other products.

This really is a great product. I'm 36 have always had acne--not horrible, but I pretty much always have a few. As I've gotten older I esp. have problems with blackheads on my chin. Could NOT get rid of them, and everything I tried was too dry on my skin. This product helps the blackheads and does not leave my skin nasty and flaky.

Also, I have a lot of scars on my chin (not acne ones, regular ones from an accident), and this product doesn't dry them out either which, if you have any scars, you will know is a plus.

BUT...I don't care for the scent much--it smells fake and sicky-sweet. If they made this in an unscented or fresher scent, I'd give it 5 stars! - Blemish Control - Salicylic Acid - Anti-wrinkle - Acne Treatment'

Kitchen Gadgets - lighters, zippo

Zippo butane fuel - pretty straight forward. Only thing is, if it isn't refueling the lighter, insert as if you were refueling, and press down... but jiggle the fuel bottle a little. I had a little problem with refueling, but when I jiggled the nozzle a little, it started working like a charm. Don't forget to fuel somewhere with good ventilation and no open flames. Zippo Premium Butane Fuel (1.9 oz.)

We tried Zippo (premium butane fuel) for our butane kitchen torch - also purchased on amazon - it works great to add a special touch of torch to your favorite creme brulee - try it, you'll like it! (recommended). Please dont wait till the last day before you need it to order it, this fuel must be shipped separately and if you can purchase it locally it might be better than Amazon, but this was convenient and I wasnt in a hurry...one more reason to state "Amazon has everything you need" - I love amazon in case you couldnt tell :-0

I love the brand of Zippo since I was young and I allway had a Zippo in my pocket to light up my cigarette {but not the Butane Barbecue Torch Lighter I just purchase later on...}.

So , if I need fuel, flint...I allway looking for Zippo brand.

Good product, fair price, on time deliver brought me back anytime I need something...

Thanks. - Zippo - Fuel - Butane Torch - Lighters'

Blackberry Car Charger - ipad, samsung galaxy s

I ordered this car charger to charge my Samsung Galaxy Tab and my wife's Apple Ipad. I just received the charger and immediately went to test it out. I plugged the charger in and then attached a usb cable I picked up from ebay for my Galaxy Tab and it worked great. The Galaxy Tab immediately indicated it was charging. I did plug the usb cable into the top usb plug since the charger indicated that the top plug is for the Galaxy Tab and bottom is for the Ipad. I did not expect it to charge both my Galaxy Tab and my wife's Apple Ipad at the same time, but I tried it just for kicks. Both the Ipad and the Galaxy Tab indicated they were charging. I am not sure how long it would take to charge to 100% with both plugged in, but they appeared to be charging at the same time since I saw the percentage increase. Not sure if I will ever have both plugged in at the same time for normal use, but good to know it is capable.

The only downside to this charger is the blue light that another reviewer mentioned. It is a little bright if you are driving at night. But I am sure I can find a way to cover the light.

The price and functionality of this small charger definitely make this a Five Star charger! RND Power Solutions Dual Black USB car charger for Tablets, Smart Phones, MP3 Players and Gaming Devices including Apple (iPad, iPhone, iPod, iTouch), Blackberry (Torch), HTC (Evo 4G), Motorola (Droid Series), Samsung (Galaxy Series, Tab) & many more

This does just what you think it would and is of a better quality construction than what I expected for the price.

I don't think I'll need another one of these for a while but when I do, I won't hesitate to buy this again.

Pros:

* Works with iPad and iPhone.

* Perfect size so you don't bump into it.

* Quality

* Not an eye sore looks good.

Cons:

Don't have any

This little guy is perfect. Because it has two USB slots, I can charge my iPod and iPhone at the same time. Also, it's much much smaller than it looks in the picture, which is a good thing. It doesn't stick out crazy-far from the plug. For anyone who uses their iPod in their car without a device that offers auxiliary and a charger in one, this is a must-have.

I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Problem #1: The movement of the charger from side to side caused it to loose power. A little electrical tape on the sides prevented it from shifting and losing power. I had no problem with it in another car though.

Problem #2 Removing a USB cable pulled the item from the cigarette adaptor. Extra electrical tape on the sides solved the problem.

The blue light was much less noticeable than I was expecting, and could easily be partially, or completely, covered.

I was worried that the power required for an iPad would provide too much wattage. All items requiring lesser wattage worked wine. No problem.

I would definitely recommend this item, it works very well for everything that I plug into it.

After going through all the reviews from different USB chargers, I've learned that just because a product is claims that it works for devices like iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Droid,...it may not be true. So, I recommend when you look for a USB charger, make sure you go through reviews to see what really works.

This one works with my iPod Touch (gen4).

PLUS

With this new charger, the iPod Touch and my phone can now be charged in the car at the same time, it's great!

PLUS

It's very small and not bulky. My 2002 Outback has the 12 v socket close to the stick control that if I put a huge charger, it's in the way. Besides, it's ugly when the charger is big. Also, being small is an important factor when I'm packing it for travel.

I don't have an iPad, but based on other reviews it seems to work.

COULD BE BETTER

What is ideal is that this unit has 2 USB's with a socket plug (aka cigarette lighter charger) as well for my GPS. There are some in Amazon, but I have not seen one that guarantees that they work for the iPod Touch gen 4, iPhones, and iPads.

I bought this item and didn't use it until about 6 weeks later. On a recent road trip I plugged in my iPad but the iPad indicated it was not charging. So this did not have enough power to charge my iPad 2 even though that was the only item plugged into it at the time. I tried both USB port slots with no luck and used my original Apple cable.

I needed a charger that would charge my iPad and the ability to charge two devices was just a plus for me. It's a great little charger that does what it claims to do. Simple, inexpensive, & it works!

I used this for our 18 hour trip to charge both my iPad and iPhones during the trip. It has two ports on it. One for the higher current iPad and a lower one labeled Samsung I believe but is the same as the iPhone rating. Both worked fantastic and they work at the same time. It got a lot of use during our trip and is very compact so it doesnt stick out from the cigarette charge much which was really nice as well. It does light up on the face in a blue color and might be distracting if in the eye sight of the driver but for me it was plugged in to my center console in the rear seat area so it didnt bother me at all. I think I will buy another for my other car. What I think I liked the most about this is that it uses a standard USB charger cord. So all I did was pack my normal wall charger and cords and then this small plug and I was all set.

I read alot of reviews for dual chargers and am very happy I chose this one. And it was very cheap IMHO as well - Ipad - Iphone - Samsung Galaxy S - Ipad Car Charger'

Macbook Pro 13 Inch - keyboard protector, macbook pro

I was a little skeptical about purchasing this since there were only a few reviews, but I think this was a great buy! I was originally geared more toward the transparent, thin keyboard skin but the price deterred me. This particular product was way cheaper, and the quality is great! I really like the fact that the keys are black, because at first glance, people don't even realize I had a keyboard skin on! The fit is perfect, and I actually like the fact that it is slightly thicker than the clear transparent ones because the edges don't curl or lift up at all (however its thin enough that the laptop opens/closes without any issues). It comes in the mail in just a plastic USPS bag, with no filler material, so I was scared that it would be bent or have fold marks, but it was just fine!

I purchased this keyboard for my MacBook Pro 13" Aluminum Unibody. GTMax Aluminum Unibody Apple MacBook / Pro / Air Silicone Keyboard Skin Cover...

I didn't like the transparent keyboard covers so I was happy to find this one, with the keys printed on it. It said it was just for the aluminum macbooks, but I have a new white macbook unibody, and the keyboard looked similar enough. I was a little nervous that it wouldn't fit, but happily, it fits very well! It doesn't slide around when I type, and it fits over the keys very nicely.

My only concern is that the keys that are printed on the cover might rub off after a while. It seems fine so far, and it's not expensive so I could buy another one if I needed to.

Also, I do have to type a little harder than I did before (but that applies to every cover). And it's just something I have to get used to.

Overall very happy with purchase.

Basically I was very impressed with this keyboard protector UNTIL my macbook pro fans started to spin faster. I called up Apple and they told me ventilation uses the spaces in the keyboards to pull in air. So using this will block the intake, and cause the fans to spin harder. So you have two options stay vigilant and keep your keyboard clean or use this and maybe cause your macbook pro fans to spin harder. I choose to take the cover off, even though I tought the product was great initially.

I have the new white unibody MacBook Amateur (May 2010 release), and I was a bit worried about the fit, as this seems to have been designed for the MacBook Pro; however, it fits perfectly. In fact, based on the other reviews, it may even be better for the Amateur than for the Pro. It gives the computer a really spiffy look and since the keys don't light up on the Amateur anyway, you don't lose that functionality.

It isn't perfect, however, and there are some significant drawbacks. First off, two of the keys already had the lettering partially rubbed off before I even got it. Due to the nature of this defect, It looks like the skin got folded at some point and two keys got stuck together or something like that, so I would definitely highly recommend NOT folding this up. I know some people take the skin off whenever they aren't using the computer, so this could be kind of a pain. It also does indicate to me that, most likely, the markings will rub off over time from use; however, it's really cheap, so I have no problem with replacing it.

The reason I have heard for taking off the skin whenever you close the book is to prevent the keys from ruining the screen, as this raised piece of silicon is being pushed up against it for long periods of time. I haven't seen any proof of this; however, I haven't been using it for very long. I would be very curious to hear feedback regarding this from people who have been using the skin for a while now.

It also does make it harder to type. You have to hit the keys harder and there also just seems to be something awkward about typing on it. Maybe it's just the feel of the silicone? I can't fully explain it, but I definitely type a lot slower now, and I don't think it's just because you have to hit the keys harder, as I've got one of those old springy keyboards at work that require hammar like strength to use. If I don't get used to it over time and it continues to hinder my typing ability, it will make this worthless to me. I'm a really fast typer, which is extremely necessary as I'm a law school student, and all we do is type constantly.

As a side note, the reason I have this new computer is because I spilled coffee on the keyboard of my previous MacBook. I haven't spilled anything on this one (yet), but it does entirely cover the keys and lays very nicely on the board; so, when I do spill something, I am pretty confident about the ability for this to protect my Amateur. I would do a test like they do on TV with ziplock bags and detergents by pouring various types of liquid on it, like red wine and coffee, to be able to attest to it's ability to prevent meltdown; however, I don't think the fine people at Apple intended the extended warrantee to cover field tests. - Accessories - Macbook Pro - Keyboard - Keyboard Protector'

Hp Inkjet Cartridges - printer ink, hewlett-packard

The cartridge supplied with the HP Deskjet 932C doesn't hold much ink, so when I purchased the printer 3 months ago, I bought a 2-pack of 45A -- I hate to run out of ink. I just ran out of ink in the small cartridge, and sadly found that both 45A cartridges had completely dried out. I sure wasted a lot of color ink trying to decide what was wrong! I went back to Office Depot where I purchased the printer, and was advised that I don't use enough ink to warrant buying a 2-pack because they are almost sure to dry up before I would need them. So I bought a single... and voila, the printer is back to its normal wonderful self... Yes, the cartridges that dried out were still under warranty with both the store and HewlettPackard, so I have been reimbursed. HP 45 Black Ink Cartridge

A great work horse! I've used 20-25 of these cartridges over the past few years, with consistently excellent results. The print is always clear, I seem to get over 500 text pages per cartrige, and unlike some earlier generation models it doesn't clog when the ink level runs low.

I agree with some of the reviews that the cartridges don't last very long and are expensive. I tried a refill product from Dataproducts for both b&w (51629A)and color cartridges (51649A). Both work well. I didn't trust the cover for the color refill and used the old one by attaching it with tape. Works fine so far. Hope this helps.

Some reviewers complained that this cartridge has a low ink supply. I suppose that may be true for someone running a very active office or home-office with very demanding print needs. However, in my Deskjet 882C (an excellent printer) used at home with moderate printing (in a home-office), these cartridges last just fine. I have been using them in my 882C since March, '99 and am only on my 4th one - 4 in 16 months is not too bad. But even more importantly, is the excellent performance: clear black text, never smudged or faded, very professional looking - on practically any paper. A good, safe, relaible product.

I've had the HP DeskJet 722C for over a year now. I have been happy with the performance of the black inkjet cartridge, and have only had to replace it twice. I don't have especially heavy print needs; I am a computer professional, however, and I estimate that I am perhaps an average printer user. The ink dries quickly, and I have not had the "smudge" complaint that I had heard from a friend (who told me AFTER I purchased this printer)

Let's face it, how much can you really say about an ink cartridge? Using this on my HP970cxi produces very good print quality. The biggest problem I've had with the cartridges has been a tendency to dry up more quickly than they should. A couple of them have gone dry far too soon after purchase both in terms of time and the number of sheets printed. Fortunately, most of them hold up for a reasonable period of time. The bottom line is that you need ink cartridges to use your printer and this is a good cartridge even if it isn't perfect.

This cartridge holds a nice deep black ink that makes great smudge-free print. My only gripe is the cartridge should last longer than 500 pages before I run out of ink. (sigh) If only HP made these like their test equipment.....

This is what is recommended for various HP printers. Works as advertised, a bit expensive, but way better than at Office Depot/Staples. I prefer laser printers, as they are faster and crisper... but ink jet printers are definitely cheaper. Don't use refills, they ruin your printer. - Hp Ink Cartridge - Printer Ink - Deskjet - Hewlett-packard'

Canon Mp980 Printer

I know this OEM ink is expensive, but the quality of this ink can't be matched by the NONOEMS. If you care about the quality of your prints, this the way to go. I have used all kinds of after market products, and no matter what they claim about their quality, they just can't compare to oem. I also ended up with clogged print heads and at least 1 trashed printer. Photo output with this ink is gorgeous, and the color tones are just right. You also save a few bucks with this 4 pack. Canon CLI-221 4-Color Value Pack (Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow) (2946B004) in Retail Packaging

I moved up to a MP620 from a previous Canon printer. While I'll admit with the previous post that the ink wells are smaller, but they also use less drops of ink than my older model and gives out a MUCH better picture. And if you install the software that comes with the MP620, it will pop up showing a low cartridge, then click the exclamation above the tank, it will give you the part number needed. You can even click the 'about ink' button and will give you a nice large printable list of the ink part numbers.

I'll admit I still use local print shops for large quantities of 4x6 images, but single 4x6 or any other I can print with very pleasing results.

NOTE: The Canon Photo print software gives a more true to life color than either Photoshop or Lightroom. I know something needs to be changed in the Adobe software, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Excellent product. I suggest to readers that you consider using OEM products for printers. I screwed up my Canon printer using an off brand. You may go for some years with no problems using off brands and save some heavy duty money and it will pay for itself. However, if your printer fails early on because of off brand you are a loser. I have a good printer and will just pay the extra dollars. Some of my off brands were empty. Some would not work and the last batch dorked up my printer for good.

I use third party toner on my laser printer, but I don't want to use third party ink on my photo printer. I don't mind spending a bit extra on a quality print especially after I spend great deal of time taking and editing my photos. These inks do the best job. Period.

But let's be realistic. 10$ on a tiny plastic box of ink that won't last very long is bit too much. Digital photography let you take lot of pictures at relatively no cost, but when you want to print them, they seem to be far more expensive than printing film.

So far it looks like the ink is lasting a bit longer than I thought it might based on other reviews of the MP980 printer and these ink tanks. I do a lot of Birthday and greeting cards. Some of the cards have quite a lot of graphics and it is still chugging along. My former printer had the printer head go bad due to my purchasing non-Canon ink which was supposed to work just as well. The printer head costs almost as much as the printer itself. It's just not worth going cheap. I really prefer Canon printers so I'll stick to their ink. At least they have separate inks for the 3 primary colors and two black tanks.

Well what could I say the 4 color pack is great love that you dont have to replace all ink cartridges at the same time you only have to replace what colors are needed to be replaced. That is a good feature Canon is known for that. Alot of other brands you have to replace all ink even when they are halfway full. Never have problems with Canon ink, never had any problems with any of Cannon products. Oh yeah almost forgot and it is so easy to replace each cartridge.

I do a monthly newsletter for a TOPS group, and use quite a lot of ink. I like my new Canon printer - model MP620 -- I find that ordering my supply from Amazon is the most practical way, plus I like the multi - packs available.'
