Monitor Wall Mount - lcd wall mount, monitor wall mount

This mount is about the best I have seen yet. Looking locally, I couldn't find anything for less than $60 -$80 (even walmart). This came home for about $25. It mounts easily, comes with all hardware, it is black, just like the TV I mounted and the cables I strap to it to get them out of the way. The swing is very smooth, there is very little rock (side-to-side). The tilt (pitch) is very sturdy but adjustble. I don't have a single complaint about this unit. VideoSecu Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket for VESA 100 LCD LED Flat Screen Monitor TV 1E9

Nice product, fairly well built, and attractive black powder coating. I mounted a 26" HDTV (22.8 lbs) on our bedroom wall. As others have mentioned, no rotation after installing makes it important that you measure carefully before drilling. Here's a couple tips that should help your install.

Before proceeding, I suggest that you tighten the arm hinges (using the supplied Allen wrench) to where you think they should be. They were fairly loose on the mount that I received. Reason being ... Their tightness changes the level of the TV bracket.

1st tip: First thing I noticed was that the top of the bracket that mounts on the TV was NOT parallel with the mount's arms when the mount was folded flat. Therefore, I mounted the vertical wall bracket (plate) so that the TV bracket was level; this meant that the wall bracket was NOT perfectly vertical, but just a "scosh" off vertical.

2nd tip: Even doing this, the TV was still not exactly level; close, but not "perfect". This time I took a round file to the screw holes on the TV bracket and elongated them to correct the rotation required to make the TV perfectly level. It didn't take much filing; less than 1/8".

That did it! TV hangs perfectly level now when flat against the wall, which is where it is used mostly. Swinging the TV out to "max" position from the wall, due to the slight "give" others have mentioned, the TV is a gnat's off from level, but this is low priority and tolerable.

One other point: If your TV/monitor is wider than 26", you won't be able to get it completely perpendicular to the wall, something to consider.

I purchased this mount to hang a 15" LCD TV, weighing less than 9 pounds (the specifications rate it up to 33 lbs). I carefully measured and used a level to mount the swing arm on the wall, but when I hung the TV, the position of the arms and the small amount of "give" between the arm segments caused the TV to hang at a slight, but noticable, angle. You can tighten the arm segment joints, which helps the problem somewhat, but you won't be able to swing the arm around once tightened. The swivel adjustments only allow you to change the side-to-side angle and the vertical tilt, there is no way to fix the rotation of the set.

This monitor arm is pretty cool, and great price point. I mounted a 26" LCD TV weighing like 32 LBS. Have not had a problem with it. I did need to make a trip to the hardware store for some longer screws than what was provided to connect to my TV.

I tend to be the engineer type, so looks don't win me over if a product is flawed below the surface. This mount looks good, if and when you catch a glimpse of it but most important to me, it is designed well. The joints lock and hold positions well because the design provides enough flat mating surface area. All of the major parts are solid cast, forged or machined.

Finally, after you have mounted a monitor or TV, this mount does not demand or call your attention back, it just does its job, `quietly', behind the scene.

I purchased this wall mount on the basis of other reviews. It was perfect for our need. Installation was very easy, the bracket was well made, moves easy (side to side, up and down). I put a 15" tv on it and I am well satisfied compared to other brackets that are 3 & 4 times the price. I give this bracket a 5 star rating.

I own 8 flat panel TV's, all of them wall mounted, for two (26"ers) of them I am using this particular bracket. I like the flexibility of these brackets, however, they are quite "wobbly" and that leaves me with great concern each time I adjust them. Only time will tell if they will hold up to the moderate usage they receive.

In one of the other reviews someone said something about the mount being lose or having some "give", I am thinking they may have recieved a bad mount and should send it back. I have a 23" LCD mounted with this bracket and its tight and holds the TV right where I set it. Now I can see where if you mounted it maybe a little off center where you could complain that they should have put a rotation(tilt) adjustment on it. But alas if you mount it level then you should have no problems. It was easy to mount and does what it should. A mount like this at a box store will cost you about $80, so you can't beat this price. The product is also very durable

I bought this product to mount a flat screen computer monitor to the wall. It installed easily and works great. You can pull the monitor out from the wall and adjust the swivel (for instance, parallel to wall or at an angle. If you need something you can adjust for different height users, then be aware that this under $30 unit does not adjust for height; you pick the height and that's the height it will be. You have to get a more expensive fully articulating model if you want to be able to change the height. - Wall Mount - Tv Wall Mount - Monitor Wall Mount - Lcd Wall Mount'

Fitness Ball - ball chair, stability ball

I had a shipping problem with my ball, and I also ended up with the wrong size. Max Fitness went the extra mile and met all of my needs with 100% integrity. They were pro-active and gracious.

I also love the ball. One qualification for those of you considering getting a ball. The size of the ball may depend on not only your height but what you are using it for. In my case, I'm 6' tall and I use the ball to do Core Exercises as taught by Gunnar Peterson and the 65 cm ball is definately too small for me. The 75 cm ball works for me, and I'm completely satisfied both with it's quality and the excellent service I received from Max Fitness in the process.

You can't go wrong with these folks. Max Fitness 75cm Exercise Ball with Foot Pump (Black)

I bought this item to use as a chair replacement, which means it likely gets used more often than if for exercise. I bought this items a month ago and have used it almost daily since. To date I have not had to reinflate the ball and it has been sturdy and comfortable. The enclosed pump didn't inspire a lot of confidence but actually worked just fine, and given the fact that it may not require a lot of use, should be suitable for the life of the ball.

I like this ball now that I have it set up- it's great for stretching and even as a chair. However, when it arrived it had an oily residue all over it accompanied by a terrible chemical smell- maybe I'm just oversensitive to these things, but it was really overpowering. I washed it as best I could, and the smell has faded over time, but avoid this product if you have any sensitivity to smells or chemical.s

The rubber in this exercise ball is much thicker than others I've purchased, so I can see why it's listed as anti-burst. The included pump was helpful as well. As indicated in the instructions, the ball didn't seem to blow up that much initially, but after letting it sit overnight, I was able to add more air. So far I'm very pleased with it.

I used a standing bicycle pump to pump up the balls -- still took about 15 minutes per ball. I also sprayed them down with soap and put them in the shower for 10 minutes in an attempt to remove the plastic smell, which worked. I let them hang out for a day at 3/4 full and then pumped more air into them to reach 75 cm. I alternate between the ball and my chair at my desk which works well. It took a little tweaking to get it to the right height.

This thing holds up to my weight which is 318lbs w/o flinching. I lift weights on it, so its really holding a lot more than that. It is quite strong. The pump they give you with it though makes it take a LONG time and a lot of energy to fill up, its nice if you have your own pump.

I've been using this ball as a computer chair since it arrived a few days ago. Really feeling it from my abs down to the tips of my toes.

Two not so great things about the ball are (1) the material it's made of bonds to paint if it touches a painted surface for a few hours and (2) it is extremely difficult to remove the air plug when you need/want to adjust the air pressure. The latter especially is a design flaw I hope the company addresses.

Just received this a couple of days ago. I did not notice an odor as other reviews mentioned. The ball is made well and I'm not worried about it bursting. It is hard to get the plug out to refill. The pump works too.

I've ordered and returned 2 other stability balls, but I'm keeping this one.

I was very pleased overall with the ball I received, as it was easy to inflate with the included pump, surprisingly sturdy, and came as advertised.

However, as a few other users have noted, the ball has a VERY strong chemical smell after it's been taken out of its packaging. I closed it up in another room with the windows open for a couple days, then washed the whole inflated ball in the shower with dishwashing liquid, and those two steps reduced the smell by about 90%. Hopefully in time it will disappear completely -- I wouldn't have used the ball at all if the smell hadn't gotten better gradually. It makes me wonder what kind of chemicals the thing is outgassing and if they're safe. MaxFitness should either deal with this issue by de-scenting or washing the balls before they're shipped, or by addressing the issue in their instructions.

Other than the smell, the ball has been great and everything I hoped for. - Fitness - Stability Ball - Ball Chair - Exercise'

Cable Organizers

This cable management system is pretty good, especially if you only need to bind a series of similar length cables (for example a bundle of cables running from a TV to an AV receiver). It's easy to install using the provided tool. I thought it wouldn't work for binding up multiple power cables because their heads were too large to fit through the adapter tool, but then I realized that it splits open down the middle so you you can easily start at any location on the cables. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are running multiple cables that are going different distances, the best way to do this is to just run the cables the entire length and then when you are done pull out the cable(s) that need to go shorter distances. I found it relatively easy to bind up several runs of cables from my AV-receiver to my speakers and television. Now I don't have an octopus of wires under my AV rack which makes me happy and my wife happy too.

Recommended. Monster CIT MBK-16 Medium Diameter Black Cable-It Wire Management System (16 feet)

My wife's office was a mess of wires - laptop, monitor, laser printer, plotter, networking, router, phone - sooooo many cables. I had to disconnect everything to get it organized, but once I laid out the cords, the cable-it system was easy to install. It has a neet little device to thread the cords in the cable-it wrapper.

I highly recommend, but plan 30-60 minutes to plan out your cable setup.

This zipper and hose style cable management system works pretty well. The zipper tool seems to fall apart sometimes and doesn't stay together well when zipping the cables up. All in all, works good if all of your cables are the same length. If you have several different lengths, setting it all up can be kind of a pain.

The product isn't to bad but it is certainly not of a very high quality. Also, if you order white, you won't be getting white. The color is an almond. Anyway, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't order this.

I looked in the description for how many cords this would hold and couldn't find it so I bought a Medium. It is 1.2 inches in diameter and the box says it will hold 5-8 cables, which is about right. We used it for four TV cords, a dvd player, antenna box, and clock (seven cords total). We were even able to double back a few of them to keep the total length shorter. It's not the loveliest looking thing, but it's better than a cord octopus. It was easy to use--the zipper handle is smart. Watch the video in the pictures for installation details.

This is not what you need if you are running cords up a wall, across a floor, or behind molding, however. It is designed for loose cables that are running from an electronic device to an outlet (behind a desk or entertainment center, for example). The directions also recommend using separate ones for AV cables and power cords, for what it's worth.

I was really happy with this product and buying it on Amazon is less than 1/2 what the local Best Buy was charging (not including tax!).

The little "tool" they include is cute, but not necessary, I gave up trying to figure it out and just used my hands. I had a complete 7.1 surround system with multiple speaker, HDMI and power cords to deal with. Took me all of about 7 minutes to do it by hand. My advice is to toss the tool and just go for it.

The only real negative is that the "white" version is actually navajo white, so be prepared. It looks easily paintable however if you need to do that.

I usually stay far away from overpriced Monster products. But this was the only cable management system I could find that seemed like it would do what I wanted. And I love it. I used it on ethernet and power cables that run to my computer which is on a rolling cart. This makes it very easy to roll the cart and manage the cables.

I had been looking for a cord organizer for a little while. I knew that I could find spiral wrap that I have used before but I found this as an alternate. The photos made it seem pretty easy to install so I gave it a try. Being a guy, I didn't read the instructions on installation but come on, how hard could it be. It was tricky enough that I had to check the instructions for what went where. Once I did that, it was a breeze. The wrap was easy to cut with a heavy duty scissors and it does a great job of keeping the cords organized.'

Winch

This is probably the most purchased Warn winch in the last decade. Very strong/durable. It is even better than the old winches since it uses solid-state solenoids which are located in the integrated body. If you don't want an integrated solenoid winch for smaller mounting areas (like the ARB bumpers), you can get the XD9000. Additionally, I recommend synthetic line instead of steel wire since it really improves winching safety. WARN 27550 XD9000i 9000-lb Winch'

Adhesives - packaging tape, tape

This is a strong heavy duty packing tape. It won't curl up like the cheap ones. It also does not fly away and stick to something else if you are not quick enough when cutting it.

We go through lots of packing taPe in our home, and this is by far, among the best.

Updated August 31, 2009

Wow, was I surprised when I went to buy this again and saw that Amazon is now charging over $25 for 3 rolls of tape. In June, I paid $12.44. I won't be buying it at the increased price. I'll put it in my cart as a saved item, and wait to see if price goes down. Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape, 1.88 Inches x 54.6 Yards, 6-Rolls (3850-6)

Do not buy this tape - it barely sticks.

It's faster to use two layers of weaker but stickier tape, than it is to use this tape, because half the time you will have to use both hands to anchor the starting point, even though I was using my tried-and-true quality packing tape dispenser. The whole point of a tape dispenser and packing tape is to use one hand to hold the box, and the other hand to apply the tape. This tape's poor adhesion defeats the purpose.

CON - It has poor adhesive qualities on every packing/packaging cardboard surface I tried it on.

PRO - It's strong.

Not only is this tape great for sealing boxes up with, but recently I had a car window that wouldn't go up all the way. I had to wait a week for a $400 special-order part (ouch!), and it was a snowy/rainy week. I didn't much like the idea of driving around with a garbage back on my car, so I just ran several lines of this tape to seal up the window. It worked well! Didn't have any stuff flapping in the wind, and it was completely water-proof! Furthermore, it didn't leave a whole lot of messy residue on the car or window...

Great tape!

Bought a 6-pack of this tape couple months ago on Amazon. What can I tell you - on grand scheme of things it was a waste. It simply doesn't stick to anything. Not to carton, not even to plastic. What kind of packaging tape is that? I can't even seal a plastic bag with it, never mind a cardboard box.

I bought this Heavy Duty Scotch packing tape because I didn't want to go with a cheap off-brand and get tape the came off the package during shipping. Instead, I paid a premium price for 6 rolls of tape that don't stick to anything. Worthless. I hope this was just a production fluke and not indicative of a new trend at Scotch. - Scotch - Office Supplies - Packaging Tape - Tape'

Underwire Bras - underwire bras, best bra

I just received this item in the mail and I want to order more! This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. It's super supportive and the fabric feels good. There's just a touch of feminine detailing where the straps meet the cup - other than that it's no frills. Looks great under a t-shirt...seamless and smooth. Bali Women's Back To Beautiful Underwire,Beige,36DDD

I purchased one of these at a retail store, and loved it, but I couldn't find more than one in my size. So I ordered four more on amazon. Yes, they are the kind of fabric that some nursing bras are made of, but I find that to be quite comfortable. The only "con" is that in my normal size, I have to use the very last hook and it's kind of a snug fit. I tried going up a size, but then the cups didn't fit.

Otherwise, they are supportive, fit well, and well, make my boobs look great! My biggest pet peeves with bras is that they don't separate well and my boobs get all mashed together and sweaty. (TMI, right?) Well, these hold one on the east side and the other on the west side and they never meet in uniboob land. I hope that Bali never discontinues this style.

I had never purchased bras online before, but I'm at a size where stores don't carry it.

This bra is very classy in design and very comfortable. I was hesitant about the quality because of the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it...EXCEPT that the size listed is a little smaller than my size, so if you order one, order up one size.

This is a nice bra, the pros: deep cups, nice U back style, great straps, they go "in", won't fall off your shoulder, nice Lined cups for no show through, also the under wire is comfortable.

The cons:..NO LIFT AT ALL, FOR ME ANYWAY, you just kind of fall into the cups & sit there, I totally agree with the reviewer below, this is def like wearing a nursing bra & i'm a full 36DD, so I do like support, this bra confuses me, so it's now it a shopping bag full of the "I don't no what's up with this bra"..!!!!!

Needed a comfy yet good looking bra with padded underwire. I worked out my size in US size and hoped for the best. What I received by courier to my doorstep on my birthday was the perfect present to me.

I am a big bra buyer but this bra is a nightmare. I have the dream tisha, some from lilyete, Calvin klein but this is by far the worst Bra ever! It feels and looks like a breastfeeding bra. As a mom this is the last thing u want, right?

Do urself a favor, don't buy it! - Bra - Underwire Bra - Underwire Bras - Best Bra'

Duracell - alkaline batteries, d batteries

If you have seen the television ads where Duracell advertises that NASA uses their batteries and shake your head in disbelief you are partially right and partially wrong. The Procell battery is exactly the battery that NASA uses for their applications in space and on the ground, not the coppertop or the ultra. These batteries are professional, top of the line disposable batteries that hold their charge longer and can survive more extreme temperature changes than any retail store bought battery. They are also IDEAL for flashlights as they will put out a much brighter light than anything else that can be bought in stores. Highly recommended! DURACELL D12 PROCELL Professional Alkaline Battery

These Procell batteries are very long lasting and I did a price comparison and it is the best bang for your buck. They advertise a 5 year shelf life that I cannot speak to. They come packed very well from the factory in heavy boxes that will hold up well until you use all of them. I highly recommend this battery due to the fact it is long lasting is a very good buy. Thank you Amazon for a win win situation for customers. For my money you cannot buy a better battery and it comes in all the popular sizes,AA,AAA,C,D and 9 volt. I use all of them. I have read on the internet this is the only battery that NASA will use do to its reliability.

I am not sure who the rater was who said Duracell is not affiliated with Duracell Procell batteries, but I went to their website, hit the professional button at the top and came to the website discussing all the advantages of this battery, linked right from the coppertop page.

Anyway, we have a lot of gamers and these batteries seem to hold up well and since we go through a lot of them during marathon playing, the reasonable price makes them a ready shelf item over the ones that are twice the cost. Rechargeables just didn't seem to do the trick. They seemed to last shorter and shorter times, and the price to replace too high.

Good choice for the price, and Amazon Prime shipping too!

I was a bit concerned after reading reports of tattered packaging and roughed-up batteries. The box of Procell D's that I received was sealed and in good shape. The batteries were dated March 2017 and all looked new. A small corner dent on the product box appeared to have been due to the box flopping around inside the shipping box with some other items. I also bought some Procell AA batteries at the same time. The AAs were in a sealed box and in good shape. I would recommend this Amazon partner for good products and very competitive pricing. I will buy from them again.

I order a box of these batteries since I have used them before and they have always worked great. When I received them they had a parts number label on them from a completely different vendor (Grainger) attached to them and the box had been opened and repacked. So far these batteries have perfromed just as well as every other Duracell battery but I was not happy with the fact that I know the item had been on a self at another company before being sold here.

These batteries last longer than any other battery I've used. They were used in my twins' swing. This swing gets very heavily used, probably close to 6 or 8 hours a day! With these batteries the swing was able to function for at least two weeks (probably closer to three, but I don't remember the exact date I put them in). Other D batteries in the swing have lasted barely a week with our usage. They're worth the price if you ask me!

I placed an order despite the number of bad reviews for battered boxes and dead batteries and received my order in new-looking condition with an unbroken "Ready to ship - Fullfilled by Amazon" sticker seal on the box. The batteries seemed to be as fully charged as the ones I bought at the hardware store. No complaints.

I don't care if the boxes were opened or sealed, these are professional use batteries, the shelf life is for like mar 2016 on the two boxes I purchased, If you went out and bought these at a store they would be very expensive, as normal, amazon does a better than average job shipping. a box in a box.

Hands down - the best battery you can buy is the Duracell ProCell. They have an incredable storage life. Great for emergency kit in the basement. Good power that seems more consistant and lasts longer then the regular Duracell. - Bulk - Duracell - Alkaline Batteries - D Batteries'

Door Handle Lock - babyproofing, door handle lock

I've purchased these for every door in the house. They are extremely easy to operate for an adult but our 14 month old can't reach above the handle to unlock it, yet. It would take him both hands to open, although adults can use just one. Only problem is that it doesn't fit on the exterior doors.

Because it relocks once the handle is back up in place, I was concerned that I'd get locked in the room or down in the basement but it's design keeps that from happening. The handle moves inside the guard to prevent this.

Still looking for something for the outside doors, but all other guards have stated to NOT use on exterior doors. Most likely because you can get locked out as the handle won't go down to get back in. Just wish this one fit. Kidco Clear Door Lever Locks

This is a great item. We have 18 month twin boys that figured out how to open the doors and this keeps them from doing that anymore. They cover the lever handles and really work. Only negative is that they are kind of bulky but this is the only peroduct out there that works for these handles, and older kids can operate them easily.

If you are looking for something that is attractive and not noticable, this is not the right product for you. But we use ours for two doors upstairs near our daughter's room and it works very well. She has figured out all the door knobs in the house, but the lifting mechanism on this one keeps her from getting the door open. It's definitely big and bulky but for the bathroom and bedroom door upstairs, it's perfect for us.

The door lever lock does serve its purpose in keeping my 2 year old out of the office--it's not bad that he's in there, but he loves to play with doors and constantly slam it! This deters just that! What's true is that the part that covers the door handle does slide off a lot when an adult tries to enter the room, but it's no big deal, it just 'snaps' back in place by lining up the groove on top with the bottom part of the 'deadbolt.' My husband wasn't about to drill anything into our new doors, the adhesive does work for us although I've read complaints from others that it doesn't. We haven't had a problem with the adhesive. The product serves its purpose for our needs. However it did come without the package, we were scratching out heads on this one. We just got the clear door lever locks in a manilla envelope. Go figure!

This lever lock would be great if you didn't have a sneaky 3 year old to figure out how to open it. We used it on our front door to keep our toddler from going outside but it is not working all the time.

This product was much easier to install than the first one I tried, which required disassembly of the doorknob. I installed it in about a minute and my 18 month-old can't bypass it. It might not work for older kids but for now it is just what we need.

A little flimsy, but it does the job.. I live in an apartment and didn't want to drill into the door. The Kidco Lever lock allowed me to have a child lock on the front door without having to drill holes.

My son is 3 years old, so we definitely needed a product like this. Be prepared to install it using the screws that are provided. With enough pressure on the door handle cover provided, it is easy to pop the top locking part right off the door if you only use the adhesive. Sometimes I have to make sure that it goes back in the lock position on the back door of the house before I close the door behind me, but that is because it was the first one I installed. I paid more attention to aligning it well on the one I installed in my son's bedroom, and it works perfectly. Overall, I am happy with this product, and can sleep easier at night knowing the little guy can't escape!

Our 23 month old figured out how to use this latch in under two months. He basically lifted the top tab and while leaning on the handle, "presto" got the door open and was very pleased with his discovery.

In order to secure the top tab, you must apply an adhesive that comes with the lock and screw holes are optional for additional security. We opted to secure the top tab with the screws to be extra safe.

After only 6 weeks use, we were left with messy adhesive and two holes in our door. I would not recommend this product. - Door Handle Lock - Safety - Babyproofing - Lever Lock'

Fruit Of The Loom - panties, hipsters

The sizing on these underwear isn't hard to figure out - a 5 is for sizes 4/6, 6 for 8/10, 7 for 12/14, and so on. In most of my clothes, I'm a size 8, so I got a panty size 6 and they fit perfectly. They also wash well and don't fade or pill and don't ride up. Fruit of the Loom Women's 6-Pack Cotton Hipster,Assorted,6

I wasn't pleased with my purchase. The quality was very poor and first time washing the seams came unthreaded leaving big holes. Very stiff cotton material. Could have bought in local store for much less. I won't buy again anything by this manufacturer. Delivery from seller was quick and carefree. Packaging was secure. Just did not like product.Fruit of the Loom Women's 6-Pack Heather Bikinis

I've tried so many types of underwear, but this is the only one that actually fits me perfectly. I am tall, have a butt that starts pretty high up, small hips. When I get Hanes in my size, it fits around the hips, but the butt part is so low on my body that it just sags on my upper thigh area. My boyfriend calls Hanes my granny panties. Perhaps when my butt begins to sag they'll fit perfectly. Don't get me wrong... I'm a black woman with a nice round booty, but Hanes just doesn't work. Victoria's Secret underwear doesn't fit that well either.

The material on these is fairly thin, so be aware of this before buying. I recommend going to Target and feeling the material with your hands first. I almost feel guilty buying such cheap underwear but they fit me so well!

You really need to know you size before buying this item,I have never worn fruit of the loom before so I wasn't sure what I was getting! My jean size is a 9-12 so I got a 7 and they are HUGE LoL even after washing them. Also the waist on them are really loose.

I doubt a woman designed these hipster underwear, and I doubt they had real women try them on as a trial. There is absolutely no bun coverage, and the panties creep up as soon as you put them on. I would not recommend buying this set of underwear.

For $10 you can't really go wrong, and the colors are fun. However, they run quite large. I'm taking off a few stars for the sizing. I take a size 6 in Haines (and even those are a bit tight after a few washes) but these 6s are practically falling off my hips. I was hoping they'd shrink in the wash, but no luck. Consider ordering a size down.

Also, the cotton is VERY thin, which should be nice and cool in summer but don't count on any extra warmth in winter.

Finally, although they do in fact look like the photo shown, the package describes them as "hipsters," not "bikinis," so keep that in mind, too. DH was disappointed, but the full coverage in the back works for me!!!

My wife purchased a clearly advertised six pack of Fruit of the Loom panties. She has only recieved a pack of three panties. The order details state that her order has been delivered, and completed. This is not right. No matter how you want to look at it! Unfortunately for the vendor there is no way to contact them about this negligence.

Electric Chain Saws - poulan, electric chain saws

This is really a powerful electric chain saw. Took down a 12 inch oak tree with no problem. The tension control feature and automatic oiler are a real plus and time saver. It does weigh a bit more than most electric chain saws but, then again, it has more horsepower. Be sure you pull the protection bar all the way toward you until you hear it click or the saw will not start. Out of the box, the protection bar appears to be all the way back but it's not, it still has one click to go before the saw will operate. I would definitely recommend this saw. Poulan PLN3516F 16-Inch 3.5 HP Electric Chain Saw

Owned 2 gas chainsaws and a Craftsman electric chainsaw and there is no comparison, this chainsaw is awesome.

I thought I would wear out the easy dial to tighten but I was wrong.

Oregon S54 14"/16" chain fits and lasts the longest for me. Fits tight on loosest setting so when the chain stretches you have a long way to go before you have to replace it.

The engineers at Poulan are awesome and so is the management. Nowadays you see too many managers judging engineers on how much money they can save the company by cutting corners and I commend Poulan.

Picked this up a Lowes to cut down a "weed" tree that we let get far too big (because we liked the shade) between our neighbor's fence and our fence (and engulfing our chain link fence and starting to push up their patio). It was cheaper than finding and then paying someone to do it for us.

It worked well. Plenty of power. Gave my arms quite a workout. It seemed to just stop working once, but turned out to be the safety handle out of position. The chain came off the drive a couple of times, but it went back on easy enough. The chain had to be sharpened a lot, but that was due to my hitting dirt frequently to get as much of the root system I could out, so I cannot blame the chain, however finding a replacement chain was a challenge.

Per the manual, the chain is 16" with 55 Drive Links. Part # 966-051601

0.05 gauge 3/8" pitch

Per Oregon's website, this is the replacement chain for this Poulan PLN3516F: Oregon 16-Inch Semi Chisel Chain Saw Chain Fits McCulloch, Stihl S55. I ordered this from Amazon and it was the same size and it fit onto this PLN3156F pefectly.

Note that I found it easiest to put the chain onto the bar while it was OFF the rest of the chainsaw and then put it around the drive as I pushed the bar onto it's mount, both at the same time.

A replacement bar is P/N 966-051301

It did not come with bar oil, so I had to goto the local True Value and pick a bottle up for 4 bucks.

Now I just have to find the time to clean it, ugh.

This chainsaw is very sharp and last a while. The only problem I have is that I can't find the exact chain replacement from Poulan. I've found Oregon chain equivalent which I found not as sharp as the original.

After going through about four chain saws in 25 years I finally got tired of mixing gas/oil and decided to get this saw for a small project of about six trees---sizes five to seven inches in diameter and thirty feet tall.

Hoping I could at least get them down and worry about cutting them up later.

Well at the end of a day, all trees were down and completely cut up and I used about 3/4 of a quart of chain oil but this rascal cut through those trees like a hot knife through butter.

I recommend this saw highly and I am very particular about what I recommend. Great product.

I have been looking for an electric chainsaw(did not want the gas can storage)for a number of weeks. I found this unit at Amazon and compared other prices on line at other places. I found the unit at Amazon with some extras at a savings of 15%.

The unit works right out of the box,(with the addition of oil to the tank), and does a great job for home use. The 16F is a perfect size for tree branches, and small trees. I had some tree damage in my yard from the latest CA wind storm, and the saw chewed through the branches and 8in tree with no problems. In fact, I cut the trees so easy that I was not paying enough attention to how much stuff I had cut, and bingo the chain came off. After a few cuttings, one should check the adjustment of the chain; and re-adjust the tension. Read the instruction manual a few times before using, and follow the use guide to acheive the best results. The unit was as described in the product guide on Amazon, and preformed better than expected.

When I ordered the saw, I also ordered the oil and an extra chain, just in case of chain failure. The saw does not come with oil, which you will need to do your cutting. I ordered to EXACT Oregon chain as the one on the unit, in the event I would need a backup.

The unit is very powerful, so be sure and take the safety issues seriously every time you use the unit; safety glasses, gloves, and proper clothing; long pants, long sleeves! YOU will get kick backs, and flying chips during usage.

I would recommend the Poulan for your home use, and the extra chain, along with the bar oil for your purchase. My only issue is the saw does not come with a case, which would make a complete package.

I first used this saw on a nine-inch Oak tree and the saw's performance was poor. It might work well on soft wood but on this hard wood tree it struggled. After using, the saw was easy to disassemble and clean. I used a water hose to spray out the dirt and debris from each part and chassis.

I ordered this saw after my wife researched the internet. It has as much power as my McCullough gas fueled. The chain stops immediately when you even think about releasing the trigger. Great safety feature!! It's my saw of preference when there's a power source nearby. Almost worth it to bring a generator along. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. - Chain Saws - Poulan - Chain Saw - Electric Chain Saws'

--Sir Humphrey. The Yes, Minister episodes continue with Jim Hacker moving to #10 Downing Street, bringing along private secretary Bernard and, of course, reuniting with the newly promoted Sir Humphrey (whose sentences seem to get longer with each episode). The audio level is better on this set than on the previous one. The cover artwork is not as clean (there are scan lines through the images), but the back cover is very nice with new photos of the three main characters (no photos on the inside as there were in the previous 4-CD set). The 17 brilliant episodes begin with the 1984 1-hour Christmas special that illustrated the chain events elevating Hacker to #10. The special features include the Sir Humphrey's lengthy review of the Yes Minister Diaries, "Christmas at the Ministry" clip, a 1986 Paul Eddington interview, Jonathan Lynn interview, and profiles on the main actors as well as others. A touching biography of Paul Eddington (Nigel Hawthorne was featured in the first set) in also included. The bio includes scenes from 1950s Dixon of Dock Green, Adventures of Robin Hood, and many scenes from The Good Life and some insight on what Margaret Thatcher thought of Prime Minister Hacker. Eddington's wife, Felicity Kendal, Hawthorne, and Derek Fowlds are among those interviewed. It also includes very sad clips of one of Eddington's last interviews when he was suffering through the last stages of the skin cancer that took his life. He handled his illness with much courage and the interviews with his friends and family reveals how fondly he is remembered and how many lives he touched. This set is a must-have for Yes, Minister fans. I have yet to search for the "Easter Egg" the box promises, so happy hunting. Yes, Prime Minister Season 2

After watching all the Jeremy Brett "Sherlock Holmes" series, Ian Richardson in the "House of Cards," and now Nigel Hawthorne in "Yes, Prime Minister, I can truly say it will be difficult for an American not to become a (British) flag waving Anglophile.

The pure pleasure of this satirical comedy is not something that can be found on American TV. I enjoyed hearing the beauty of the English language the way it should be spoken.

This program will not be for all audiences, however, if one appreciates a sharp wit, clever irony, and a hilarious display of political chicanery, this DVD collection is a treasure.

The majority of people are falling over themselves to watch brainless, charmless and incredibly annoying AMERICAN comedy like Friends and Will and Grace. I've just watched the entire second series and half of the first of Yes, Prime Minister. This is a satirical, well-observed 80's comedy about the political machinations and workings of the British Parliment and the relationships between Minister's and civil servants. Nigel Hawthorne, Paul Eddington and Derek Fowlds are all superb in this. Great acting, script, and message that puts most comedy to shame and doesn't patronize the viewer or insult their intelligence. Highly reccomended

Absolutely wonderful. I dont think a political satire of this quality and wit has ever or would ever be produced for American television. In response to an earlier review, the "Yes, Prime Minister" and "Yes, Minister" series are not for democrats or Washingtonians alone. Anyone interested in political satire will appreciate and cherish these dvd's. The central theme fueling this wonderfuly written and performed series is the never ending conflict between the permanent unelected Civil Service(big government if you will)who administer policy and the elected, yet oh so temporary politicians(self serving populists if you will) who make the policy. There are valid and hilarious skewerings of all sides, all beliefs and all conceits. This is equal opportunity satire and well worth the rather high cost. Rather educational as well. A great way to learn about the basic workings of British democratic government. Many of the bits of humour and wisdom are as relevant here in the good old USA as they are over there.

"Yes, Prime Minister" is a wonderfully witty & devastatingly funny show, but I won't waste your time with a synopsis of the series - it is a delight & many reviewers have skillfully done so already. However, since no one else seems to have found it & I can't find it at imdb or moviemistakes or any other half-way competent sites revealing how the easter egg is to be accessed & what it contains, I feel it incumbent on me to do so here.

Go to the "special features" menu on disc 3 & move your mouse (if you're watching this on a computer) over to the line dividing the article on the left & the features menu on the right. Just to the left of the last item, "Trailers", a crudely drawn blue present will appear. Click on that & you will be given a clip from the "Christmas Morning with Noel" broadcast from 1987. It is of P.M. Jim Hacker bungling a holiday message to the viewers. Quite classic!

At almost 20 years old now, this award winning series still represents the finer aspects of great British comedy. Set in the 80's in which it was made, it satirically mirrors the politics of the era with a wry and subtle genius that is a joy to behold. All that said, a little familiarity with British politics, or the British culture in general helps tremendously. I am not surprised at the success of this series here in the States, but the uninitiated viewer may be being sold a little short on the finer aspects of the characters, and the dry humor. Jim Hacker (Paul Eddington) is the central character (following on from the Yes Minister series) thrust almost unwittingly into the limelight of the Prime Ministerial race, and sets about running the country with the same graceful ineptitude he applied to his previous ministerial post in the deparment of administrative affairs. Nigel Hawthorne is masterful as "Sir Humphrey" his "advisor" and head of the civil service who has his own agenda throughout, and plays all sides against the middle with varying levels of success. The final main Character is Hackers private secretary Bernard (Derek Fowlds) who often naively walks a middle line between helping the PM, but always being aware of his own allegiances to Humphrey (being a civil servant himself). This set begins with Hackers rise to power, and then contains all the subsequent episodes where the three characters play out some hilarious, and often thought provokingly satirical situations in a balanced and polished collection. Being a topically based political comedy obviously has its pitfalls, and those too young to remember the "Thatcher" years of British government, soviet spies, and the peaks and troughs of the economy during the 80's may view this a somewhat bland. I'm not suggesting for one minute that ANY viewer would not find great comedy in watching this collection, but it has to be said that it will almost certainly appeal to a narrower audience ultimately. Lots of extra's on the DVD collection and BBC video are to be congratulated on the excellent picture and sound quality of the presentation. Maybe not a "timeless" comedy, but a brilliant one none the less. Enjoy! - Amazon Kindle Fire - Android - Fire - Ebook Reader'

Watercraft - advanced elements, inflatable kayak

This is my third AE kayak (have the AdvancedFrame 10.5 solo & StraitEdge2 tandem) and after a 1 hour paddle, will probably be my favorite. The workmanship and high quality materials are top notch. I'm a decent sized guy at 6-2/215 and it fits very well. This kayak will work great for someone up to 6-6 or so due to it's large capacity and plenty of legroom. Tracking: very good.Stability: excellent. Speed: very good. Has a huge weight capacity of 450lbs so you can load it up with camping gear. Advanced Elements has some of the best kayaks in the market...regardless of price, and excellent customer service who will answer your questions immediately. Advanced Elements Advanced Frame Expedition Inflatable Kayak

I've done a lot of small boating like canoes and rowboats, but never kayaking before. I received my kayak yesterday and stared it all day until the air pump arrived today. Just for practice, I inflated it on my deck. Once I figured out how the spring valves and the twist valves work, I didn't have any problem. Be aware that not all pumps have the proper adapters for spring valves, especially those made by Sevlor and some other companies, so I would recommend only Advanced Elements pumps for this boat. Although the kayak is advertised to have 9 air bladders, only three of them are critical...the first and second side bladders, and the floor bladder. The first side bladder valve is outside the kayak and very obvious, however, the second valve is inside the kayak and I couldn't find it until I inflated the first bladder. These three critical bladders are the only ones that require any significant inflation effort, although that wasn't really much at all. I am 62 years old with lower back problems, and didn't have any trouble doing it. The other 6 non-critical bladders each require less than one stroke of the Advanced Elements pump to get to 1 psi. I found that the twist valves are tricky because starting to pump air into them tends to make them close unexpectantly and causes the pump to resist. I found that opening the twist valves only slightly, rather than full open, prevents this problem.

The only problem I had in deflating the kayak was in not being able to count to nine. Once I learned that, the kayak folded up neatly and fit into the canvas bag.

Tomorrow or soon after, depending on weather I'm going to take the kayak out for a spin on the Potomac

Like I promised, I took the kayak out on the Potomac River for a little over an hour today in 91 degree heat. Where I went, the Potomac is about a mile wide and very smooth. The kayak tracks very well and makes great speed. I tried to find some sports boats with big wakes, but there wern't any today. I guess the only problem I had was preparing the kayak in the heat. I had some trouble with the twist valves which caused me to spend a lot of time in the hot sun sweating bullets. I think that 6 of the 9 bladders could be inflated by mouth easier than by using a pump because the pump requires less than one stroke before the pressures reaches 1 psi. My 110 lb wife also tried it out and didn't have any trouble but says she wants to order the shorter version. So far, I'm really glad I got this product and can't wait to take it on a more turbulent river with rapids.

I took my kayak out on the Potomac today for three hours in 93+ degrees heat. The worst part was setting it up and packing it in the heat. Out on the water, it was wonderful. Several people at the marina asked my why I would want an inflatable when rigid kayaks are much less trouble. I just told them that when I travel by car, I don't want to have a boat on the roof of my car. It doesn't always make a great impression with business clients.

My wife got her 10.5 foot kayak today and we set it up on our porch. What a difference in weight! The actual differance may not look like much, but the smaller one sure feels a lot lighter when you carry it. However, I noted that the smaller kayak does not have anywhere near the internal storage room that the Expedition has.

Also, I've established a method of getting the kayaks back into the bag which works well for me. First, fold the kayak normally and place it so that part to go in the bottom of the bag is up. Then pull the bag down over the kayak as far as you can. Then flip the bag and kayak over and pull the cover up to its maximum extent. Then here's the real secret...put the bag on its side and kneel on it. You will find that the zipper closes fairly easily.

So far I've only done still-water kayaking (not counting boat wakes). I plan to take my Expedition on a river trip with class 1 to 3 rapids in the near future. I've done class 1 to 4 in rafts, so it should be interesting to see how it works in a kayak.

Since the above, I've been on the Potomac several times in various locations in this kayak...but not whitewater yet. Since the top fabric is definitely not waterproof, I suggest using a heavy application of Scotch Guard on it...that worked for me. However even the Scotch Guard will not prevent water from coming through the zippers. I encountered some rough water last week which broke over the bow quite frequently. No water came through the Scotch Guarded fabric, but I had a waterproof pack fastened in the front bungee area which created a depression. Obviously, the water tended to pool there and came right through the zipper onto my legs. It was not a big problem, but it was cold and uncomfortable. In spite of the 18-inch waves and 2-foot swells, I never had any feeling that the kayak might flip over, even when I was sideways to the waves.

I've also done some rigid kayaking recently and one big difference I've noticed is that my inflatable kayak has a much narrower cockpit because of the air bladders on either side. So if you've got a wide bottom, or simply like to twist around in the cockpit to access the rear storage area, you may want to stick to rigid kayaks. - Boat - Inflatable Kayak - Kayaks - Advanced Elements'

Exercise Program - strength training, aging

At 67 I had developed upper back pain associated with spinal arthritis. Upon the advice of a reviewer, I ordered the book, bought some free weights, and immediately began training to strengthen the muscles that support my spinal column. After a month of carefully following the recommended workout schedule, I found myself completely pain free. Although the results are proof of the pudding, I was particularly impressed with the authors' emphasis on safety and their guidance on how to find your point of beginning and to progress without injury. The photos and descriptions of individual exercises were essential in making sure that the exercises were done correctly and to the greatest benefit. In my opinion the price of the book is a gift compared to the feeling of well being derived from carefully following the given plan, which, by the way, is adaptable to each individual's capabilities and needs. Strength Training Past 50 - 2nd Edition (Ageless Athlete Series)

"Strength Training Past 50" provides the information you need to get started with a strength training program, including -* Reasons why you should strength train (this section is a great motivator).* What equipment to buy (if you're doing it a home).* Which exercises to perform. (This is the largest section. It has a two-page spread format: on the left, instructions for performing the exercises, on the right, photos of ordinary-looking people doing the exercises. It includes techniques using both free weights and machines.)* Building an effective program. (This section answered one of my questions: how to determine when to increase weights and how to do it.)You can read this book in one sitting. (I skipped the "eating for strength" chapter.)The photos show people using fancy Nautilus machines, which are a far cry from the equipment I use at my down-at-the-heels gym. Unless you have access to the machines pictured, you'll probabl! y need someone at your gym to show you comparable equipment and exercises to do.All in all a good reference book for strength training. I recommend it. (I'm 62.)

Strength Training Past 50 is a very good book and anyone past 50 who has an interest in fitness or has been directed by a physician to lose weight should read the book. The program in the book must be carefully followed, particularly the weight and repitition recommendations. This program was designed for a very broad age range and a broad range of physical fitness levels typically found in adults past 50. It's strength is that it is an excellent introduction to resistance training for those who have not lifted or have not lifted for a significant period of time. If you are 50 or older, male or female, and not an experienced lifter, you may expect to lose weight, gain muscle mass, energy, and a positive self image by following the program in this book.

Pros:

A very good intro for boomers who have never done strength training and want to get into it. A lot of other strength training books target an audience who are potential Incredible Hulk wannabees. Excellent recommendations for weight selection, exercise frequency, repetitions, etc. based on scientific studies. Also good training programs targeted for those in the 50+ crowd. But you must keep in mind that the range 50-90 is a very broad range.

Cons:

The discussion on equipment options is very light. I would say it is inadequate. The worst part of the book is the organization of the exercises. They are grouped by the area of muscle exercised - such as Upper Body. Within this group various exercises for machine, barbell, and dumbell are mixed in together. If you are using only dumbells, then when following the recommended training sequence of exercises, you are flipping all over the book skipping past the irrelevant exercises. And, no, the exercises are not indexed. I think a further organization of exercise by equipment (or at least a table or index) would have been helpful.

Overall, though, the book is a big help for someone like me (fifties) just getting into strength training. A couple of more good books covering equipment and a wider range of exercises, and you're all set.

I'm ordering a second copy of this book for my brother. I've shared my first copy with a number of friends. The introduction -- which outlines the value of weight training at any age -- is worth the modest price. I've followed the book for a year since I bought the book, and have seen steady gradual progress in weight reduction and increased strength. Not a quick-fix approach, but instead a well-written plan to incorporate weight training into daily life, for both men and women. Geared towards newcomers, but also has information that will those with prior exercise experience. It stresses safety and gradual improvement.

As someone who is both older and an experienced weightlifter I can tell you that there were many errors in this book. For one thing it did not warn the reader against the leg extensions if he or she has bad knees. They can blow your knees in a heartbeat.

It also gave odd weight recommendations. In one area it gave a starting weight of 60lbs. There are few older people who can or should lift 60lb, at least to begin with. But in other areas of the book it used such recommendations as 10lbs, more reasonable but too high for many fragil oldsters.

The nutrition area was not current either. But it wasn't bad.

Some of the studies it quotes are good and motivational. But you can read those elsewhere. They simply give the many benefits of weightlifting for all people --- especially older people. And that's a good thing.

I would recommend a book like Strength Training Anatomy or a book by Dave Draper or Clarence Bass, both oldsters and great bodybuilders. Beyond that, each person should adjust each exercise to his own limitations and health conditions and not follow any set guidelines. If it hurts, don't do it. There are hundreds of wonderful, powerful exercises you can do that won't hurt you. And you'll build all the muscle and lose all the fat you want.

And by the way, there is a wonderful ebook called "Lose the Fat Feed the Muscle" that I recommend to all ages. It's written by bodybuilder Tom Venuto and is about the best book on this subject I've read in a long time.

Save your money on this book and buy one that will help you. But whatever you do --- DO LIFT WEIGHTS! It will make you a new person at any age. - Fitness - Strength Training - For The Aging - Aging'
