18v Milwaukee Flashlight - milwaukee, flashlight

Heads up. This work light will not fit the new series LiI batteries that Milwaukee is selling. The Part No. that fits the new batteries is 49-24-0171 and is part of the "M" series tools. This lamp only fits the older style batteries. Milwaukee V18 Cordless Flashlight (Bare Tool Only)

Please Note; The Milwaukee V18 Lithium Battery used in the V18 Cordless Hammer Drill and in this V18 Flashlight in all honesty, was Milwaukee's (The Best ever made). "Milwaukee made this battery too good, it's Warranteed for 5 year's"! I have 2 V18 Hammer Drill's, 4 V18 Batterie's and have 4 V18 Flashlights. This V18 Flashlight is made to last, just as the V18 Lithium Battery and V18 Hammer drill! *Milwaukee no longer makes these and replaced it's current line with Red Lithium Brand that is sub-par and is inferior to the V18 Lithium which it had sold earlier!

"If you can find these Milwaukee V18 Lithium product's buy them, they aren't made to last like these anymore". Unfortunately, a product that was made too good for consumer's during the ever growing Wallstreet!!!

There is nothing "spectacular" about this worklight, it works as well as other cordless worklights on the market. The pivoting head adds versatility & the "clip-lok" receptor is convenient if you've got the belt clip.

Bought this as an add-on for my Milwaukee cordless 18v system. It is a great add-on! Very bright, balanced so it will stand on most any surface and the head swivels up and down for help with directional lighting. Did I say it is very bright? Does much better than my DeWalt cordless flashlight. Could be the bulb used but there is a significant difference. If you have the 18v system, this is a no brainer purchase to add to your system. - Flashlight - Milwaukee'

Large Patio Furniture Cover - furniture, outdoor furniture

We purchased a Target chat set (love seat, two chairs, coffee table, side table and ottoman) and didn't like the individual covers that they offered to purchase with it (or the price of so many pieces). This was perfect - and a good price too! We are happy to say that it fits and is better quality than we expected. There are two vents that help with windy days, as well as a drawstring on the bottom to keep it on tightly if needed. One thing that might be better for us is if the color was darker, as we have it under a tree that stains quite a bit. But the color is nice. We are happy with the purchase and would recommend it. Chat Set / Deep Seating Cover

This is a good cover except it does not have the equipment to tie it down. It has flown off twice in the Santa Anna winds. But it is made of quality fabric and the construction is good. Size stated is accurate and fits 7 oversized lounge chairs. Only drawback is having to weigh it down!

I purchased this to use on my Sears Garden Oasis wicker/resin deep seated three piece chat set. It covers the set nicely and does a good job protecting the furniture and is signifiacntly cheaper than buying a cover for each piece. You have to pull the set in close together, obviously, but I don't think it is any more complicated or time consuming than removing a cover for each piece of furniture.

Thanks for making your description so detailed. It's hard to find just the right furniture cover when you are shopping on line. You made it much easier for me to know I was purchasing the right seating cover. Thanks also for the quick delivery. - Large Patio Furniture Cover - Outdoors - Furniture - Outdoor Furniture'

Safety Goggles - eye safety, safety glasses

If you have a big head, these glasses might be too small. They are 135mm wide which is too small for me. Home depot and Lowes sell ones that are 140mm which fit me just fine. Check the side of the glasses where the width is printed. MSA Safety Works 817691 Over Economical Safety Glasses, Clear

I was worried that for the price, I would be getting a flimsy product. Not true. I was tired of my unnecessary and painful splash goggles in the lab, but worried that these would not fit over my glasses or cover enough of my face to shield it properly. That is not so, these fit over my clunky glasses very well and provide more than adequate coverage without looking stupid! Better yet, these have not scratched yet and I mishandle everything!

My prescription glasses measure 5-1/2 inches across when folded and they fit just right inside these safety glasses. They are comfortable and clear, but they look like they'll scratch easily. I addition to yard and shop, I'm using them for shooting glasses, but there are some stray reflections that some people might not like. It's not bad though, and I got used to it quickly. I'll buy more of these when the two pairs I bought get scratched up.

We bought 2 pairs of these glasses for general lawn work and projects in the house. They are great! They fit over glasses just like they say they do, which we had trouble with, with another product we tried. They aren't overly sporty, but they get the job done!

Let's face it, you're wearing two pairs of glasses at the same time. There's very little hope of this being a super comfortable situation. However this particular product comes quite close to being unnoticeable, which I think is the goal. It fits nicely over my glasses, and seems very sturdy and protective. My face does get hot and sweaty while using them, but it has been a hot, sweaty summer, so I can let that slide. Considering that I'm looking through two layers of lenses, my vision is nice and clear, very much unimpaired. Combining these pros with the low price makes these glasses a very good buy in my book.

I always use eyeglasses even when I'm doing gardening in my home. Orange and apple trees branches can be unforgiving, so I finally gave this pair of safety glasses a chance after looking at some reviews. The other glasses I looked at didn't cover eyeglasses as well. However, if glasses isn't an issue, you may want to consider these : Dewalt DPG54-1C Protector Clear High Performance Lightweight Protective Safety Glasses with Wraparound Frame

It fits very comfortable on my nose, ears, and head. It fully covers me eyes and protects me very well. No complaints there.

Solid build and great pricing.

Buy with confidence!

These glasses work as advertised. They fit over my prescription glasses. They probably won't fit over large framed glasses. I wear them as wind protection while riding a motorcycle. They fit tightly over the bridge of the nose and keep the wind from blowing up under the prescription glasses and into the eyes. I don't like the full face shield type of motorcycle helmets. I bought 2 pair, one for a spare as they are made of plastic and prone to scratching.

I honestly have no idea why someone would spend twenty bucks or even more on a pair of safety glasses. These are the same safety glasses you probably wore in shop class or something...yeah they don't look cool, but they do what they're supposed to do, and they cost next to nothing.

I'd go five stars if they were just a bit ventilated...I do have to take them off quite often if I'm working outside on a warm day because I get sweaty under the glasses. Not a big deal though. - Safety Goggles - Safety Glasses - Chemistry - Eye Safety'

Sata Power Adapter - power, sata

The StarTech "LP4 to 2 SATA Internal Power" cable provides two SATA power connectors from one standard PC power supply connector. I needed to install a second drive in my PC but was short on available power connections and this cable solved the problem. Both SATA power connectors are also long enough to reach anywhere in my midsized HP tower chassis.

Highly Recommended!

CFH StarTech.com LP4 TO 2 SATA INTERNAL POWER ( PYO2LP4SATA )

This does exactly what it says it will. I needed an additional power cord for a new hard drive I added to my despktop and I decided to use this to split one of them. I use this with my primary hard drive the boots and runs my computer. Have had zero issues since hooking this up. I have a 550 Watt powers upply with 3 internal hard drives and have seen no power issues by using this splitter. Wonder how many of these I could use?!

Don't have enough SATA power connectors on your power supply? This adapter will give you two more. When installing, simply make sure that each pin is aligned and give it a firm push. There's really nothing to it. Good quality part.

I had committed to add a new SATA drive to a system that already had an IDE/EIDE drive. I thought it would be smooth since there was a SATA connector on the motherboard that was not being used for the Data Cable. After purchasing the drive, I realized that the only power connectors available were the old LP4 type. This adapter was a cheap, quick fix, thanks to Amazon. I did not need a Y-Splitter, I could have used a StarTech.com 6IN LP4 MALE TO SATA HARDDRIVE ( SATAPOWADAP ), but chose to go this route so that the system now has a free SATA power connector, should there be any other upgrades.

It did what it was supposed to do! There are other types too, like this one with locking metal latches on the SATA connectors: 6 inch 4pin Molex to Dual SATA 15pin with Metal Latch.

Like another reviewer said: Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Worked right out of the box. Plugged into my SATA drive, then into the power slot on my motherboard. As far as I understand it, this won't plug into your Power Supply, but needs to be plugged into a card or your mobo.

What more can be said? It works just as it should. I had to power up an additional internal hard drive but had no power source that would plug into it. I had plenty of unused old 4-prong power cables coming out of my power supply. This little converter let me use that old 4-prong to power up my new HDD. - Power - Sata Cables - Power Cables - Sata'

Otterbox - epic, otterbox

Bought this case because i have always been a fan of Otterbox products.

Overall, the case provides great protection. The rubber lining helps keep the case from moving around and stays solid on the phone as well as providing protection around the side buttons. The top piece snaps on easily and can easily be removed. I thought it was nice they included a rubber piece to cover the headphone jack to not keep it exposed.

The polycarbonate case is nice but as others have stated, gives the case a little bit of a cheap feel but by no means takes away from the protection the case provides. This is probably the biggest of the cases i have tried (Seidio Active X and Innocase)but also feels the most solid.

The complaints about the screen protector i find odd. I was able to apply the screen protector perfectly first try! I cleaned the screen real well, washed my hands and made sure i didn't apply it in a dusty environment. It is made a little thinner plastic then some but i feel it is a little more sticky around the edges so dust won't creep in like some of the thicker plastic screen protectors that just cling to the screen.

The reason i gave it a 4 and not a 5, is due to the slide mechanism. The rubber in-lay helps keep the dust out by creating a seal with the top piece. However, due to this seal it makes it a little harder to slide the phone and sometimes the top piece clips hit the keys. Its not a deal breaker and i prefer to have the better protection.

Overall i think this is my favorite case. It was between this and the Active X but i just like the way this case does the best job of "sealing" the edges as best it can. OtterBox Commuter Case for Samsung Epic 4G

After months with this case on, I decided to take it off. It has scratched a path on all of my keys, where the top part clasps onto the phone. The keys from3-4 all the way down and from 7-8 all the way down are scratched to the point where the paint is off and I can see the keyboard back light through it. I wouldnt recommend this case. Although it looks beautiful, it doesnt do a good job.

Do not buy this case.

Every reviewer here seems to have slapped the case on and closed their eyes from that point forward. Both the front and rear portions of this case fit fine, the problem is the tabs on the upper portion scratch the keyboard keys each and every time you slide it open. To make matters worse the bottom pieces tabs scratch the back of the top half (back of screen) when you slide it open as well.

There are a multitude of similar cases available all of which do not damage the phone as this does. Over time this will destroy 2 rows of keys on your keyboard vertically and make a mess of the back of your screen.

You are getting the exact authentic Otterbox. Easy to install and well worth the price, considering what its sold for on the brand's website. Easy to install. I only had trouble with the screen protector which still has an airbubble. I am no longer spazzing out if I drop this phone. Great buy!

Bought one of these for my Epic 4g. I'm a fan of the Otterbox Series, particularly the Defender. (Used to have it on my iPhone 3GS). Decided to get the only one available for the Epic4G after I changed services.

Here's a brief summary of Pros and Cons:

Pros:

-Design is nice

-Comes with screen protector

-Has flaps to cover headphone jack

Cons:

-Screen Protector's quality is a little lacking

-Don't like how it clips onto the top of the case

-Looks/Feels kind of on the cheaper side for the $30 premium you pay for these things

-Back is on the slippery side.

I tried the Seidio Active X and I think I prefer that case to this one.

I absolutely LOVE this protective case. The rubber sides and textured back make the phone much easier to grip without being sticky. It slides easily into my bag or pocket. Fits the phone like a glove and provides great protection from dropping and debris. Even keeps my phone safe from dust and dirt at the baseball field.

I can't think of a thing bad to say about this case. It's very tough. Stays on when you want it on and comes off without too much fuss when you want it off. I'm frequently changing the battery in my phone and pulling this case off and so far it has held up great.

I would have chosen a defender...but seeing as they didnt have one for this phone, i had to take what was offered. The box is very protective. I havent dropped my phone yet, so im unsure of how it would take the impact

I had been waiting for otterbox to come out with a quality case for the Epic 4G, so when I saw it finally available I jumped on it. I must say it is very well constructed, and the quality of materials is fantastic. Amazon had the best price available. I am glad someone other than seido who's stuff is on the cheap side made a quality case that doesn't detract from the phone, or make it too bulky for the pocket. My case has been toddler tested and held up great. If you are thinking about buying this case do it. The other cases have been tried on and in comparison the seido, and the fishbone both pale in comparison. They fit poorly and most people have to modify them. They are both time and money wasted. Remember you get what you pay for. The case may be a little pricier but for the best protection for your Android phone its worth every penny. - Sprint - Epic - Samsung - Otterbox'

Digital Camo

Not quite as sturdy as the real thing and doesn't include all the same pockets. It also lacks the option of knee pad insertion, but includes reinforced knee and crotch stitching. A button fell off the day I got it with out any use. Overall a decent pair of ACU pants. 8685 ULTRA FORCE BDU PANT - ACU DIGITAL (MEDIUM)

Camo pattern and colors will work great in most environments. Zipper is not heavy duty. It is small like you might find on childrens cloths. Front pockets are shallow but are at least made with the same fabric as outer. Reinforced knee and seat will add to life of these as the fabric seems thin compared to the real thing. Made in China...

pants were great .shipping was good. sizes run a bit bigger than normal pants we found. orderd a med/long for a guy that wears a 32/36 wrangler jean. pretty close but a little baggy in the rear end and thighs. length was good.. definatley will be ordering more . good value good craftsmanship

My comment has to do with the camo itself, the quality of the pants aside. The ACU pattern is designed for woodland, urban, and desert uses. While it works decently well as an all around camo, it is not something I would recomend for woodland use. I wear ACUs everday and I HATE all of the hook and loop tape (velcro). Getting anything out of your pockets is going to make a lot of noise as you tear apart the hook and loop tape. And it wears out and eventually wont hold, then you have pokets that hang open and items can fall out. Real ACUs have a life of about 6 months of use. So, knock off brands probably have less. If I had to pick a camo to wear in woodland setting I would chose either MARPAT woodland camo or multicam. For urban uses such as Iraq or Afghanistan Id pick MARPAT desert or multicam again, ACU would be a close 3rd. The ACU is not a bad uniform by any means but it has its faults in my opinion.

good pants, but....material is a little thin, nothing like REAL bdu pants. wash heavy duty and overdose on fabric softener pants are very starchy. zipper fly is good, beats the button fly. overall good pants!'

4th Generation Ipod Nano Case - ipod nano 4g case, nano case

I ordered the black leather case and love it! The design is quite functional and snug enough to keep the iPod in its place but not so tight that it's a pain to get in and out of the case. The attached belt clip is perfect and is swiveled for ease of wearing. The closure snaps shut and stays shut and the opening to attach the earphones and link to a port is wide enough to do both at the same time without having to take the iPod out of the case - nice! I've had several compliments already on this case from friends. Great purchase for the price. Premium Leather Case with Belt Clip for Apple iPod Nano 4 Nano-Chromatic 4th Generation 8 gb 8gb 16 gb 16gb 32 gb 32gb (Nano 4 Chromatic Not Included) + Bonus Young Micro Shoe Silicone Pouch for Nike+, Leather / Nylon Red

I'd been looking for a case for my new nano for weeks! I finally came across this one and IT'S AMAZING! Perfect for running. I was really afraid i wasn't going to be able to use my nano for running because I couldn't find the right case that came with a clip. That was the entire reason I bought the darn thing. This stays on perfectly. I can change the songs and adjust the volume perfectly fine. I'm so amazingly happy with this product!!!

I've tried a few different styles but after the smoke clears - I always seem to fall back to my leather cases... Just overall the better choice - what more can I say... Although, with the nano and it's small size - the leather ends up being so thick near the control wheel that it's a little hard to hit the bottom of the wheel - where it so happens is the off and on button... but I'm really splitting hairs - compared to it's other benefits...

I bought a 4th generation nano for my wife, shortly after they were introduced...her first ipod. She loves it and she loves this case too which I purchased around the same time. It is a genuine leather case with a snap cover that you open to expose the screen and click wheel. This is a no nonsense design with a basic belt clip and though she has had it for less than a month, it appears sturdy and I believe it will last. The colors offered aren't a perfect match for the 4th gen nano colors, but the blue one we got complements both the blue nano and a blue purse my wife has, so the color is great for her. Recommended!

These cases are wonderful. I ordered one for my husband and one for me and we both love them. They're nicer quality than even the pictures show. The Ipods fit well and everything is accessible. Would defitinely recommend.

Bought two of these products a pink one for the wife and a black one with the magnetic clasp for me they work great clips are strong and it is still easy to work the controls with the I pod in the case. Would recommend to all.

This is a very attractive, functional and high quality case at a reasonable price. To me the only downside is that the clip (which rotates so the case can be positioned vertically or horizontally) is not removable, which makes the case a bit bulky. I specifically wanted a clip so this doesn't bother me, but if don't need a clip it may bother you. The screen protector and shoe pouch are nice bonuses. - Ipod Case - Ipod Nano Case - Ipod Nano 4g Case - Nano Case'

Crime Drama - cops, action

Rating System:1 star = abysmal; some books deserve to be forgotten2 star = poor; a total waste of time3 star = good; worth the effort4 star = very good; what writing should be5 star = fantastic; must own it and share it with othersSTORY: DEA agent is out to take revenge on the drug dealers that killed his wife.MY FEEDBACK:1) Forget XXX or Fast & Furious, this is a much better Vin Diesle movie (Pitch Black is still his best though). Vin does some decent acting and his general charisma carry a large portion of the movie.2) Good attempt at developing the relationship of Vin's character with other characters in the movie3) Not a huge action flick but enough guns to keep this drama moving4) Some suspension of belief is needed in this movie5) Seemed the editing didn't explain a plot twist or two but cut things out leaving gaps in the story.OVERALL: We enjoyed the movie and didn't feel like we wasted out time with it. A Man Apart

I know a lot of people laugh at the thought, but this film illustrates that Vin Diesel can act...he's actually damn good at it.I think this is Diesel's best film ever. Sure, it's got lots of action and fighting, but what really makes this movie for me is the transformation of Diesel's character from beginning to end. It's quite possibly the most tangible thing throughout the entire film. That's not even doing it justice...it jumps out the screen, grabs your heart in it's fist and bursts it...yeah, that's a little better. You owe it to yourself to at least check this film out as a rental. You'll be glad you did.

This movie truly shows another side of Vin Diesel in a way. He's such a bad ass in his other movies. He's a bad ass here too but he's also a sensative man. He plays Sean Vetter, a former gang member turned DEA agent whose street smarts make him the top dog. In the beginning of the movie, he brings down Memo Lucero and it looks like the drug empire is over. But not so fast. A new dealer named Diablo orders a hit out on Vetter at his house and the bullet meant for him accidentally hits his wife and she loses her life. He's devastated by the loss of his wife and seeks revenge against Diablo. Vin Diesel was a perfect pick for the lead role. The emotion and intensity of Vetter was captured perfectly by Diesel. And Larenz Tate as Demetrius Hicks is the perfect compliment to Vetter with his subtlety and calmness. This is one of the best action movies ever made and it's Vin Diesel's best movie ever!

A Man Apart (F. Gary Gray, 2003)At this point, it's getting hard to imagine F. Gary Gray (The Negotiator, Friday, The Italian Job) directing a bad movie. Gray specializes in quick, tense, mindless action thrillers, and he seemingly never fails to deliver on the goods.Take A Man Apart. While it may well win the race for dumbest movie title of the year (original title Diablo was scrapped after a threatened lawsuit from Blizzard Entertainment, who are doing a movie of the videogame franchise of the same name), there's nothing at all wrong with the movie itself. Vin Diesel plays Sean Vetter, a narcotics officer involved in the taking down of drug kingpin Memo (Geno Silva, who ironically appeared in the TV movie El Diablo thirteen years before) Lucero. When a new guy known only as Diablo moves in to take over Santos' old operation, he begins by trying to take out Vetter. The assassins fail, but in the process, Vetters' wife Stacey (Jacqueline Obradors, recently of NYPD Blue and Tortilla Soup) is hit by a stray bullet and killed. I don't think anyone will be surprised when Vetter and his partner Demetrius (Larenz Tate of Menace II Society fame) start cleaning house. It's an old and well-used plot, and I'm sure a lot of people saw the twist coming at the end. (I didn't.) What makes the movie work, and work very well, is the chemistry between the characters. Gray gets emotion out of Vin Diesel for the first (and possibly last) time since Multi-Facial. The chemistry between Diesel and Tate is the best buddy-cop stuff since the first Lethal Weapon movie. It all works very well. Two hours of pure, brainless entertainment. Naked women, things blowing up, and Riddick and O-Dogg shooting lots of people. How can you possibly go wrong? *** ½

This movie was not what I expected it to be. It's sold as an action film when it is actually a solid drama that happens to have guns in it. When I think action I think over the top thrills and intense stunts. I think adreniline, fast-paced suspense, and a certain momentum. I didn't find any of that in this film. But what I did find was a genuinely interesting story. Perhaps the concept has been done before - but that's the case with a lot of films these days. Looking past that: the movie does have substance. It delivers believable emotion and is worth sitting through at least once. I'd say the main draw is getting to see Vin Diesel stretch his wings a bit and hit us with something fresh. Sean Vetter is a little more unique than any of his previous characters.Perhaps not dramatically so - but we can see that Vin put forth an effort. I like the direction he's moving in - and you must admit - seeing him move in a different direction is reason enough to watch the movie. This one isn't about and edgy street racer like in The Fast And The Furious. Or an attitude-driven adreniline junkie as seen in XXX. This is a story about a man who loses his wife. A man who is driven nearly to the breaking point. A man who discovers what his friends are made of when he truly needs them the most.

Revenge movies generally do well with American film audiences, if for no other reason than that they achieve something that other film genres cannot. This type of film speaks to our sense of justice, when someone we love has had some wrong done to them, whether they be hurt, robbed, or worse, be killed, we want to go and set things right. However, in reality we cannot always act on these feelings, as much as we may want to, which is where these movies come in. For one, we don't actually have to go through any real pain or suffering, we simply vicariously live through the characters on screen, and through the emotional connection that is made, if something should happen to one of them, it instantly stirs that feeling for justice to be done.

"A Man Apart" is the story of a volatile DEA agent, Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel), who along with his partner Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate), go undercover to bring down the top Mexican drug lord. With the toppling of the top drug lord in Mexico, a new cartel begins to assume control of Mexico, led by a man called Diablo, this new drug cartel is even more ruthless than the one before it. To get the attention of the DEA, more importantly Sean Vetter, Diablo orders a hit on him, Vetter narrowly escapes with his life, sadly his wife was not so lucky. Vowing to take revenge on Diablo, Vetter strikes a deal with the very drug lord he just put away, and with the aid of his DEA partner, Demetrius, sets out to deliver his own lethal brand of justice.

Many revenge films have been hugely successful in Hollywood such as, "Desperado", "The Punisher", "Four Brothers", and many others. Now, "A Man Apart" can be added to the list, directed by F. Gary Gray (director of "The Negotiator" and "The Italian Job"), "A Man Apart" delivers a solid story of a broken man, that has lost the love of his life, and will stop at nothing until those responsible feel his wrath. Vin Diesel delivers possibly his best performance to date, showing a wide range of emotions that he hadn't needed to portray in his previous films "Pitch Black" or "The Fast and the Furious", though some doubted his acting ability, Vin proves here that he is more than just another action hero. The supporting cast is fairly strong, Larenz Tate is solid for the most part, as Vin's right-hand man, there are some weak spots in his performance, but they can be overlooked. The action is fast-paced and frantic, but serves to show the fractured state of Vetter's life without his wife. A problem many films of this genre can suffer from is an over-reliance on action, with not enough of a story to keep the audience engaged. "A Man Apart" succeeds in eluding this pitfall, with a story that continues to engage the audience emotionally, so that the vengeance doesn't seem pointless.

If you enjoy revenge tales or are a fan of Vin Diesel, then this is definitely a movie you should see. Also, if you are one of the many nay-sayers regarding Vin Diesel's movies or his acting, then you should put your skepticism aside and give "A Man Apart" a try, I believe you will quickly see that Diesel definitely has what it takes to be more than just an average action star in Hollywood.

"A Man Apart" is rated R for violence, language, and brief nudity/sensuality. - Cops - Crime Drama - Revenge - Action'

These tees are great! It is very hard to find plain tees without paying too much. These tees are priced right and look great. I also ordered a jacket and sweat pants from the same company. The service was quick. I will order from them again. Precious Cargo Toddler Tee, Light Blue, Size 4T

So glad I found these comfy, soft, 100% cotton tees for my son! They are very comfortable and look very cute on. It would also work well to pair one of these tees with pants by the same company for light summer pajamas.

We got our son these shirts due to the fact we could not find plain colored shirts anywhere! They are perfect for everyday wear. The are pretty true to size, but might be a shade small for the size we got. With the fact that we buy his clothes ahead of time whenever we find a good sale so he is getting some good wear out of them early. The price is what drove us to order them and now that we know where we can get plain colored T's we will certainly be getting more as he grows up. - Baby Clothes - Baby - Body Suits - Gerber'

Sanyo Eneloop low self-discharge batteries are justly praised. I bought two dozen pieces each of the AA and AAA sizes. My Kodak Easyshare C182 digital camera uses a pair of AA batteries. A freshly charged pair of Eneloops enabled me to take 250 flash pictures before the low-battery warning automatically shut the camera off. I took the photos one after another, counting them. The flash remained bright to the last photo.

When charging an Eneloop AA or AAA battery, charge it until the voltage measures 1.41 volts. No higher. You can push the voltage higher, but this harms the battery's overall life. The voltage will sink back to 1.38 volts within a day or so, but thereafter the self-discharge will become much slower. Sanyo NEW 1500 eneloop 4 Pack AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries

The good:

1) Made in Japan.

2) Pre-charged & ready to use.

3) Rechargeable 1500X (X = times / cycles). I'm happy with just 500X.

The not so good:

1) 2000 mAh. That's not enough juice to provide stamina for power hungry devices.

Background:

For over 4yrs now, I've been using the 'made in Japan', Low Self Discharge (LSD) AA & AAA rechargeable batteries from Sanyo called Eneloop & Eneloop 1500. I use them with all the remote controls & electronic devices / gadgets that I have. I have over a dozen pairs of the Sanyo Eneloop batteries & I like to keep them organized. I have them all marked / labeled in pairs so that I don't mix the batteries when I'm charging them. The plain white color of the Sanyo Eneloop is a plus point here.

For remote controls, the Eneloops are perfect. A single charge c'd stay for more than a year. No complaints. It's when I use the Eneloops with the Canon PowerShot A590IS Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom that I wish that these batteries had a lil' more juice in them. I c'd barely touch an average of 200 shots with a single charge. That's when I gave the Sanyo Eneloop XX a try & I'm impressed with it. The milliampere-hour (mAh), a measurement of the electric charge transferred by a steady current of one Ampere for one hour (check Google for more detailed explanation), in the new Sanyo Eneloop XX has been upped to 2500 mAh. This increase of 500 mAh really shows an improvement in my compact camera's performance. I've already taken over 400 shots with the first charge & I'm still counting. Even the refresh time between shots have reduced a bit.

Conclusion:

Just a few yrs ago, the Sanyo Eneloop (rechargeable 1000X) used to be priced @ USD20 / 4pcs. It's now selling for about USD10 / 4pcs on Amazon & is very good value for money SANYO eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries. The newer Sanyo Eneloop 1500 (rechargeable 1500X), with no performance advantage over the original Eneloop, is priced @ about USD15 / 4pcs. I got the Sanyo Eneloop XX (rechargeable 500X) from B&H, NYC @ USD20 / 4pcs Sanyo Eneloop AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries - new 2500 mAh --eneloop xx -- 1 pack of 4 batteries - Limited Quantity.

I'm sure the prices will eventually come down with more competition & with newer models getting released every year. For now, the Sanyo Eneloop XX sh'd only be considered for power hungry devices such as compact cameras & remote controlled toys. For everything else, the original Sanyo Eneloop (rechargeable 1000X) is still a very good purchase & has not run out of juice just yet.

I find 1500X a lil' over exaggerated. Even if I charge a pair of Sanyo Eneloop XXs every week, 500X will last me over 9yrs. I know I'll replace / upgrade these batteries in about 5yrs or so with whatever c'd be the latest & greatest in LSD rechargeable battery technology then. For 2000 mAh LSD rechargeable batteries, I'd stick with the original Sanyo Eneloop (rechargeable 1000X) & save some bucks.

For best results, I'm using the Sanyo Eneloop batteries with La Crosse Technology BC-700 power battery charger La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger.

Just my $0.02.

Brgds.

I always trust this rechargeable battery for low self discharge, and this might be the 4th - 5th one I am buying. I am happy and satisfied that I can charge and leave them for even a year without using them, and then when I need it - they do not disappoing me. Other rechargeable battery charges used to wear out within a month after charging them, even if not use, and cannot be used when required. I always recommend this battery to my friends.

I own twenty of these, because after I tried the first pack, I knew I had stumbled on something excellent with these. The charger for these is almost always on vacation, because they last so long it's hardly ever needed. Currently, I can say for sure, that for most applications, these are the best available right now. Don't let the 2000 MAH rating fool you. For most products, that's not a problem.

Love this item, was using energizer rechargables for years can't complain about them but these eneloops will give you longer life span over any competitor. I use them with Nikon flashes, exceptional recycle time. And I actually use an energizer pro charger to recharge a bunch of them at once, it seems these charge quicker than the branded energizers (by about 1 1/2 hour). Personally, the only downside to this, is that i only ordered one pack!! I need to get me some more of these things!!!

I love this battery, no more constantly worrying about recharge batteries for my devices.

I never had rechargeable batteries last this long and keeps their power for long period of time.

My golf GPS and Range finder drain batteries like crazy. New batteries last only last couple of hours for each devices. The Sanyo batteries seemed last at least 10 times more than my old batteries.

I am a happy camper now. I think i will replace all my old batteries with these babies. - Aa'

Smart Charger - battery chargers, smart charger

First, let me say that this charger performs flawlessly and deserves five stars when it is in charging mode. I have used it for three years and hundreds of successful charging cycles on a dozen different batteries of various sizes and types.

However, on two different occasions and with two different batteries (both brand new when hooked to the charger) I left them in "trickle charge" mode. The batteries were part of an emergency communications station that must to be ready at any time with full batteries. This charger burned up both batteries after three months of trickle charging. This mode is supposed to allow a battery to be hooked up indefinitely and maintain it at peak performance. Not destroy it. Other folks in the emergency communications service use other chargers and leave them in trickle mode for years. DO NOT use this charger for that kind of operation. Schumacher SSC-1000A SpeedCharge Battery Charger/Maintainer with 50-Amp Battery Clips

Battery chargers and I have never gotten along. I actually once sold, what turned out to be, a perfectly good old snow plow truck because I thought something serious was wrong with the engine. The charger showed the battery was good, so I figured it had to be the engine and it was too old and rusty to put more money into it. The guy came to pick it up, gave me $200...stuck a new battery in it, and drove it away. It was a bad charger not a bad battery.

Recently, using what I thought was a more reliable charger, I couldn't get my batteries to fully charge. Rather than blaming the batteries this time, I purchased the Schumacher. I read good things about the brand on the web and took the plunge. I couldn't be happier. This is a hi-tech charger with all the bells and whistles. It is "stupid proof" as well, and lets you know what is going on as it charges. I love it! I am now able to fully charge all my batteries, and the other charger went into the trash. I highly recommend this automatic speed charger.

Build Quality:

* Great build quality. Has the look and feel of a well engineered product, not some cheap stuff.

* I smiled when I lifted it first as it wasn't feather light and appeared to have decent enough weight to it - an indication of a decent power supply.

* This one seems to be rated for marine use and hence should be more resistant to corrosion.

* The connector cables are thick enough and the clamps have enough spring action/grip to them to securely lock on a battery terminal.

Design:

* Very user friendly with direct 1 touch access to most features.

* I liked the case design. Has a neat little pocket to store the power chord and the connecting cables. The chord and the cables do need to be tightly rolled up first before they can fit in the pocket.

* It's got a neat little handle that you can use to hang it up on the wall. Neat design if battery charging is something that you do more frequently and want to have the unit easily accessible, ready to use but out of the way off the floor.

Features:

Well, I haven't used it extensively enough (Used only twice since I got it a month back), but here are some features that were used (and so experienced) when I used the charger:

* Shows level of charge on a battery - both in percentage as well as volts. Big readout makes it easy to read all the numbers.

* Has user selectable 2/6/10 amp charging options - good for most batteries. Would have liked a 1 amp option as well (for smaller motorcycle batteries), but then that's a different product from Schumacher. The 2 amp option, though slightly higher than recommended, worked great for the motorcycle battery though. So this unit really allows charging a wide range of batteries- for motorcycles, cars, boats. Nice to have just one charger around rather then 1 for each type of vehicle/battery.

* The electronics worked just as mentioned. Once I selected the primary amp setting, everything else was handled automatically by the charger electronics. It switched to a trickle mode charge automatically once the battery was completely charged. Neat feature, keeps your batteries from being damaged by overcharging.

* Has a desulfation mode that desulfates a battery. Of the two instances when I used this charger, it kicked into this mode on my car battery which was completely drained and was left in the completely discharged state for quite some time that resulted in sulfation in the battery. This charger automatically detected this state of the battery and desulfated it first and then automatically switched to charging mode once the battery was desulfated and accepted charge. (I will be honest with you - I don't really know the chemistry and process behind this, but I have read that sulfation can render a battery useless)

* Has a cooling fan to keep the charger cool. Not exactly whisper quiet, but not something that's louder than expected (YMMV) for the application.

Reliability:

Have only owned it for a month and used it twice, so can't really comment on long term reliability. But it has worked perfectly on the two instances I had to use it including it's "automatic" features. So, for the price (I got it when it was about 50% of MSRP at Amazon), it's one awesome, feature-rich charger. - Smart Charger - Automotive - Automatic Battery Charger - Battery Chargers'
