Carpet Chair Mats - floor mat, chairmat

The polycarbonate chair mat UtilMat from Cleartex was bought in replacement of another plastic chair mat

that showed (after about a year of use) chair-leg marks and cracks. The replacement shows none of these, so far,

about 2 months of use. I am very happy with the quality of this product, which also arrived promptly. Cleartex UltiMat Polycarbonate Chair Mat for Low/Medium Pile Carpets - up to 1/2 Inch Thick, 0.09 Inch Gauge, Clear 47 x 35 Inches, (118923LR)

I am beyond pleased with this chair mat so far. Typically, I like to wait in order test out anything I buy prior to writing a review, but this time I couldn't wait.

I work from home, so I am in my office all day. My previous chair mat was purchased from Office Depot for something like $30-$40, and within a couple days after bringing it home, the cracking started. After about 5-6 months, there had been so much cracking and buckling that my feet were starting to sometimes get scraped when attempting to move the chair. And moving the chair was almost impossible as it would get stuck in all the cracks. This does not work well when you are working between two different computers.

Needless to say, I looked to Amazon to get a replacement instead of going to an office supply store. My new Cleartex chair mat was received a couple days ago, and there is a complete difference. Instantly, I could tell the quality is much better. The mat is very thick and not too pliable. Now my chair can actually move freely without much effort. For the last two days, I have smiled after sitting down in my office chair when I used to curse and grumble every morning. What a difference! It's weird to say, but I love, love, love my new chair mat!

I've had this for a few months now. Its been great so far. I kind of wish I got the one that would be better for thicker carpet. This one is probably mainly for office use, and not for thick high quality carpets. It does slide quite a bit, however in terms of build quality its great. This chair mat does not bend and its quite strong. With cheaper chair mats, after sitting on it, they will usually start to bend or sink when the chairs feet are. This chair mat will not do that at all. I suggest getting the bigger chair mat from this brand because this one is kind of small but that was my fault for not measuring.

The edges on this mat curl up. I have had it a little over a month and it is in a bedroom with very light use. The edges lift up and it does not lie flat and flush with the carpet and so it has become a tripping hazard. Do not recommend this mat for purchase.

This is a highly satisfactory product. After experiencing disappointment with two other locally purchased mats, this is a real comfort. It is everything it is portrayed to be. Just remember, it is a bit on the small side, but that just happened to be exactly what I needed in a limited space.

First off Amazon needs to change the picture that goes with this product. It is NOT for hardwood floors! The back has spikes/grippers to help the mat stick to the carpet! Note also this is for Low/Medium Pile up to 1/2 inch thick carpet only because the spikes/grippers are not large enough to work with a thick, plush carpet. The mat itself is stated to be 0.09 Inch Gauge. I don't know how things like mat thickness is measured so that number meant nothing to me at all! Also on the product picture it looks to be perfectly square, but it does have a lip on it. When the mat arrived it was shipped flat and easy to open. When my husband lifted it out of the box the first words out of his mouth were "it seems thin". On his lifting it out of the box it did have movement "play" in it not totally stiff at all. When it was put down on the floor it hugged the carpet perfectly. The chair rolls easily on it. We are using it with a chair at our computer table. I'm small, but my husband is large so we both took turns sitting down on the chair. So far no problem at all, but I am interested especially since my husband is large (6" 3 and 1/2" tall with a weight of around 220 lbs) how well it will hold up in the long run. It does say it will support weight up to 250 lbs. So we will have to see how it goes since we just got it today. If there are any problems that develop, I will update this review. Update: 6/24/11-I'm glad to see that Amazon has changed the picture for this product. While people should read the description of the item some just look at the picture and then are disappointed because the product doesn't match the picture. But it still interests me that the weight limit is still not listed in the product description and the product description still ends in a "comma" like there was more there and it got dropped. Believe me I didn't come up with the 250 lbs. weigh limitation on my own! We have now used the mat for over a month and it still looks like it did the day we first put it down. And since my husband and I take turns using the computer there is never a day that the mat doesn't get used. Update 8/17/11 - well the "comma" was taken off the product description and there is no mention of a weight limit. I would say Amazon corrected the comma, but I don't know who eliminated the weight limit? As for the mat it is still in perfect condition. It looks the same as the day we got it!

This mat works as advertised when you can get it to stay in one place. I have to readjust it almost daily, as the teeth aren't holding it in place - and I do have low pile carpet! One of the rare times I regret buying a product unseen from Amazon instead of checking it out personally beforehand.

Outside of the constant sliding, my chair rolls great and smooth on the mat and it hasn't developed any fissures after a month of ~6 hours per day use.

Only time can tell when it comes to wearability but one huge advantage over ones I've had in the past, it came flat as opposed to rolled, allowing it to lay down flat in an instant rather than possibly hurting your hands on the bottom prongs that hold it in place on the carpet while trying to unroll it, unrolling one of these and getting it to lay flat on the floor can be a daunting task. Quick shipping and reasonable price are two more reasons I'm happy with this purchase. - Floor Mat - Chair Mat - Chairmat'

Tomtom One 130 - portable gps, tomtom one

I just purchased this GPS for a trip to Boston after my old GPS was stolen. I was looking at price and this one was on sale. My old GPS was purchased for a similar price but it voiced the street names. In my opinion not telling you the name of the street to turn onto makes this GPS hard to use.

When I connected online to update the maps I was not offered a free update, but was offered 50% off to bring the two year old maps up to date. This service cost me an additional $40. Maybe I was scammed into paying for something that should have been free with the "30-day" map update guarantee...

The GPS itself is cool. I never had a problem getting a signal and the personalizing options are nice. I like the screen view, except that the street names are too small to read while driving and are not voiced. It did give accurate directions. However, it's frustrating to have two exits close together coming up and all the GPS says is "Turn right here" - Is it exit 13A or 13B? On more than one occasion I took the wrong right and had to be redirected by the GPS.

At least the GPS did not continually tell me, "turn around at your next opportunity." Instead it would calmly redirect me around the block. Overall, I like the TomTom. However, I did make a mistake in purchasing a GPS that does not voice street names. I would not buy this model again and recommend that you put high importance on voiced street names. TomTom ONE 130 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Box Version)

A very good solid GPS unit - and at a very good price here on amazon. Such a good price that it is less expensive to purchase a dedicated new one for the USA/Canada than to purchase the maps from [...] for my European unit. (Ridiculous!)

If you are considering the 130 think about spending a few more dollars to get the text to speech for street names in the 130-S TomTom ONE 130-S 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator. Even though the street names are pronounced in a weird way it is one more way of keeping your eyes safely on the road.

I find the menu structure very intuitive. It is very easy to input a desired address quickly and just get there. As mentioned in other reviews if you make a mistake or decide to take a different route it doesn't get angry at you but just recalculates a new route on the fly. The easyport mounting system is super and compact. You snap the suction cup onto the windshield and then turn the dial to increase the suction. It has never dropped off the windshield for me even going from high to low altitudes, freezing to balmy temperatures. If you choose the 130-S with text to speech you will want to stick with the default voice because it allows for street names to be synthesized/pronounced. But if you choose the 130 try out the voice of Kathy from Ireland. Outside of having an aphrodisiac effect she says things like "second exit off the roundabout" or "Take the motorway". Highly recommend these GPS units.

Ah yes, the only other thing you might consider is a protective carrying case sized for this unit for when you take the GPS out of the car into the house at night or for packing the unit for business travel. TomTom One Carrying Case and Strap for One 125, 130, 130s, 140 and 140s (Black) If you have not used the unit in a while you should plug it into your PC to charge it up the night before. Also to update the maps using the included software.

I have had 3 Garmins over the years, and thought I would try a TomTom this time (for my daughter). When I tried to update the system to the latest firmware and maps, it took me many hours and 2 calls to tech support to get things straightened out. The system appears to have had a flaky storage unit so when the updates tried to get installed, it would fail after 90-120 minutes. After several attempts, I contacted TomTom and was told to try running chkdsk against the unit. Errors and bad sectors were found and corrected. Attempted to install updates again, and after 100 minutes, the updates failed again. Called TechSupport back, was give more things to try (deleting files manually, etc) and after running chkdsk 2 more times, I was finally able to get the data to load.

My daughter tried using it for a few days, and said she would rather have her Garmin C330 back, because she did not like the way that the TomTom worked and the screen was too small, so I sent it back to Amazon and ordered a Garmin nuvi 260w for around the same price.

I'm talking about a different Tom Tom GPS than this model but here was my experience overall with this brand.

First, their so called GPS kept locking up on me frequently. I would have to wait until I got back home to hook the thing up to the computer and reset everything.

Second, their service was abysmal. They never fixed the problem. They just kept feeding me the same, pat, out of the manual answers.

Third, I took a chance and paid for advanced maps software thinking that maybe this would resolve the issue once and for all. Not only did the new software also freeze up frequently, Tom Tom never got it working once properly over the next three weeks of back and forth, almost daily correspondence. When I finally got fed up and asked for a refund (just for the new software), I was told it was past their two week policy of allowing refunds.

I gave them plenty of chances to fix their product and they screwed me over.

Completely unreliable product, one of the worst support experiences ever, and an unethical company to deal with.

I've since bought a Mio GPS (in Europe) and a Garmin GPS (in North America).

Both proved to be very reliable products.

Bought it at Walmart. Have had the TOMTOM One 3rd edition since 2008. Worked well all the time. Tried to update maps (free service) on TomTom site. After the update GPS screen froze. I spent 1/2 of one day on line with Tomtom tech service support. Reinstalled all files to no avail. Then told "Sorry, there is nothing more that we Tomtom can do". I find it interesting that the GPS unit was working until I tried to update it. After the update the unitwas frozen. So it is a software issue not a hardware issue. Tomtom just said sorry and offered me a $10.00 voucher for the purchase of a new unit. I believe that they screwed up my software and do not care that they did so.

Oh well, just go buy another one.

I suggest that if your TomTom is working do not connect to the TomTom site via your computer. Leave it alone. Do not mess with it.

This is a poor way to get more sales of TomTom units by TomTom screwing up your installed software

and then claiming that there is nothing more that they can do (ya right).

No offer made by TomTom to repair it.

Buyer be ware.

Drive on.

Made In Italy 2 Button Suit - valentino made in italy suit, darya trading

Just a word of warning first, I bought a number of suits in 42L, all fit me perfect except this one. It's defiantly not slim fitting like the picture. My tailor did say it is high quality and it does look very nice, so I have no complaints there. The pants fit me well also. I usually wear 33 or 34 waist. Nice suit just needed to spend another $55 at the tailor. Gino Valentino Made in Italy Wool / Silk Mens Suit 150's Hand Made Two Button Canvas Front Jacket Flat Front Pants Custom Working Buttonholes Business Suit Charcoal Gray (42 Short)

I'd never ordered any suits online before (and certainly not from amazon.com), so I really had no idea what to expect with this one. But wow, am I ever glad I decided to take the plunge. The suit I received is super sharp and the jacket (48L) is a perfect fit. I just couldn't be happier with it. Better still, I took it to Mens Warehouse to get the pants hemmed up and they told me that it was indeed a very good quality suit and a real bargain at $150. So there you go - expert testimony. I'll certainly be adding a couple more of these GV suits to my wardrobe in the very near future.

Like everyone else, I was nervous about ordering a suit online. The price also seemed a little too good to be true. I ordered a 36R and it fits perfectly. The suits quality and cut are perfect and the color is better than expected. Around $70 to get it tailored and it looks like I have a new favorite suit!

Would definitley reccomend. You can use it as an all purpose suit, but is classy enough for important meetings and such.

I give it a 2 star only to catch people's attention. I bought this suit mainly because of the excellent reviews. However, I truly believe some of the reviews were written by seller. The labeled retail price is totally misleading. The suit should be priced around $200-$300 if it is sold in local store. So internet price of ~$150 totally matches what you pay for. Don't expect to get a great bargain. Overall, I don't regret to make the purchase. The material is decent and lining is not bad. Comparing it to my Nordstrom suit (On sale for $300), the difference is subtle. Of course, the more expensive one does have better quality. So, I would say it is a good buy for the price. But again don't have too high an expectation so you don't get disappointed. - High Quality Suit - Suits - Darya Trading - Valentino Made In Italy Suit'

Marine - boat, marine

I thought this would be a great battery box when I ordered it. It's a good price, with a good marine name (Attwood). However I had to return it as it had one fatal flaw. This is a "vented" battery box... which is good, but they decided to put the air vent holes on the top of the battery box directly over the terminals! What good is a battery box on a boat if you have water/rain splashing and having that water being directed to drain directly on top of your live electric metal battery terminals/wires and then ultimately filling up with battery box with water so your battery is "swimming in a bath of water! I guess I could have put a couple of pieces for tape over the holes as there is already plenty of venting in the box where the cable openings are, but why not just buy a marine ready box?

I understand from Attwood's web site that they make a "non-vented" version. It's harder to find, but boaters should get that box instead. Attwood Standard Battery Box, Vented, 24 series - Boat - Marine'

Vessel Faucet

Great faucet! The lever action is smooth. Easy to wipe clean. I like not having to bend down to turn the water on/off, or get my hands under the flow of water, as this faucet is a foot tall. Very happy with this purchase. If you like the way this looks, and the size is right for your sink, you won't regret buying it. By the way, I put this on a small 18" bathroom vanity and it looks fine, however we did reduce the flow of water to the faucet in order to prevent people from turning it on full blast and overshooting the small sink. Euro Modern Contemporary Bathroom Lavatory Vanity Vessel Sink Faucet Tall Brushed Nickel

I needed a faucet for my vessel sink so i bought this one. It arrived in 20hrs, and it comes very well packaged. Now if you have an older faucet, you will most likely need to replace your valves as these new faucets come with their own set of hoses (and this is for most new ones, name brand and no name) they no longer use the same hoses the older ones did. I replaced them both for $14, besides you might as well replace them if youre going with a new faucet. Installation is easy and it does fit on standard faucet holes. If it doesnt its because you dont have a standard sink or vanity top. The end result is a beautiful faucet that is built like a $200 one. The handle glides very smooth and the finish is perfect. I would highly recommend.

I ordered the Euro Modern Vessel faucet in the brushed nickel finish. It arrive on schedule and was perfect. I had looked in other stores and saw the prices and knew I had to look further. I found this on Amazon and couldn't be happier. 1/2 the price and same quality product.

Thank you

Bought two of these faucets for a guest bathroom remodel and have no problems with them at all. They look very nice as well. They do NOT come with a pop-up so you have to be sure to order one for each faucet as well. Still a great deal after buying the pop-ups seperately.

The installation instructions are, well basically non existant. There is just a small, four page pamphlet with photos of six different models of faucets with a cut away of each. It isn't hard to figure out how to install, but one word to assist you, be sure to thread in the two securing screws in the body, without the nuts, before you mount the faucet body. It is also easier to screw in the two supply lines ( included ) before mounting the body. I applied a small amount of vaseline to the rubber rings on the supply lines first to insure that they would seat properly. I also used a small amount of vaseline to the O-ring that mounts under the body, to keep it in place until the body was seated on the countertop.

This faucet arrived looking beautiful and feels heavy and solid.

The brushed nickel finish is pretty.

Husband had no trouble installing it and it works great, does not drip and the lever is smooth as others said.

It is almost exactly like the one they sell at the big box improvement store for 140 dollars... and is just as good of quality!

I was worried about not being able to see this in person before buying, but there were no surprises and it is perfect for our powder room.'

Dell Inspiron Battery - cheap, laptop

Our original Dell laptop battery needed replacing. I am so glad to have found New Trent! The battery they sold to me lasts as long as the Dell battery did at its best, and cost about 1/4 the price. Additionally, their customer service has been simply outstanding.

When I first received the battery from New Trent, I thought...erroneously... that something was wrong with it. (It turned out to be a 'power option' setting in Windows that was causing the issue). I called New Trent, and they immediately sent a replacement battery, no questions asked. By 'immediately', I mean that within a few minutes, I had a tracking number for the replacement battery. It went out that day, at their expense. They also provided a return shipping label, prepaid. They ALSO made it clear that if for some reason I needed yet ANOTHER battery, they would send that to me, too. Their only interest was in making sure I was a satisfied customer.

I am. Very. You will be, too.

A very good product, at an amazing price, backed by great customer service.

It doesn't get any better than that. New Trent New Replacement Battery for Dell Inspiron 1520 1721 1521 1720 530S Vostro 1700 1500 fits 312-0504 312-0518 312-0520 312-0513 312-0576 312-0590 312-0575 312-0594 [Li-ion 9-cell 7200mAh Black]

Bought this battery over 6 months ago. I get between 3 to 5 hours depending on what programs I am running. Which is a lot better that the 1 to 2 hours we got with the Dell 6 cell. Solid replacement for the Dell battery. And, you can't beat the price. And customer service is good too, they contacted me recently to make sure I was happy and answer a few questions. Nice people.

My Dell Vostro 1500's battery was about dead and only lasted 10 minutes so I decided that it was time for an upgrade. I bought the battery on July 29th and it arrived August 7th. I've been charging it fully and then letting it drain to about 5-10% and each time my laptop is saying that the battery will last around 4-5 hours when fully charged on the 'High Performance' power setting, and standby time is around 7-8 hours. I am VERY happy with the battery. It sticks out about an inch but I knew that before I ordered the battery. The quality is good and it feels solid. I recommend this battery as an excellent replacement for Vostro 1500 laptops.

EDIT 12/12/10:

The battery still charges fully and works fine. Lasts for 7 hours with moderate web browsing and then closing lid for standby in between each 30-40 min session.

If you are needing to replace your laptop battery and want an alternative to Dell's OEM replacement battery, then look no further. New Trent's price is far less than Dell's price. Run time of the battery marginally less than Dell's but it is also roughly one third the cost of a Dell battery.

Shipping was fast, product arrived well packaged and installation was very straight forward. It has the same dimensions that the original Dell 9-cell battery the laptop had. So far, we have had no problems with the battery.

I would certainly buy from New Trent again.

I have so far been really impressed with this whole order. I think this is a great replacement. This is $170 on dell's website. The battery was delivered to my house in 1 day all new in box. I would recommend someone buy it if you want to save a lot of money, and the charge lasts about the same time as my original dell battery. Good deal!

I'm a college student and inherited my father's Inspiron 1520. I knew it was about time for a new battery after it would only last for about 10 minutes without being plugged in. (It was mostly plugged in and used as a Desktop rather than a travel notebook.) While running only Firefox, this battery will last about 4 hours, which I find pretty good for the price I paid for it. I'd rather not spend over $100 dollars for one DELL battery, so this was perfect for me. The only complaint that I have is that the battery sticks out about an inch past the Laptop itself, and it looks somewhat strange; however, the only reason it sticks out is because this battery is a 9 CELL and the original DELL battery is a 6 CELL.

I recently purchased a battery from New Trent through Amazon. The battery arrived on time and in great condition. I have used the battery for a few weeks now with absolutely no issues. I own several Dell laptops and have had to replace several batteries. I would recommend New Trent over buying a replacement battery direct from Dell. The Dell direct batteries are very expensive and don't last any longer.

Update 9-24-10: I have now been using two of the batteries for a couple of months with no issues. I will continue to monitor them and update this if I have any issues.

After my Dell battery stopped holding a charge, I decided it was time for a replacement. Dells batteries were upwards of 120 dollars and I already knew the quality of them, so i decided to check out what Amazon had. Out of the reviews of all the batteries, this one had the best reviews of not only quality but also customer service. I decided to get it and the other reviews were spot on. Not only has the life of the battery lasted longer then the dell, but the customer service is top notch. After 2 weeks of constant use, the battery holds a legitimate charge for around 5 hours. I would highly recommend this battery to anyone who needs a replacement.

I'm in college and needed a new battery for my laptop. My factory battery wouldn't hold a charge long enough to make it through class anymore. I looked on [...] and saw that the batteries were upwards of $150, and checked on Amazon and found this one for 1/4 the price. It's working great so far and will hopefully stay that way for a few years

the New Trent 9 cell battery works great. I have used battery for about a month now. received battery in mail in no time, battery works at 100% charged for 3 hours no problem. the old Dell OEM now is lucky to pull off 90 minutes and ordering from [...] a new battery would cost way over $100, at the time writing this review, was [...], an excellent price and shipped by amazon.com with free shipping. in the future, will order from New Trent again. battery was identical to OEM battery even down to button checking amount of power left onboard the battery tester.New Trent High Capacity (9-cell) Laptop Battery for Dell Inspiron 1520 1521 1720 1721 Vostro 1500 1700 Series Pn 312-0504 312-0513 312-0518 312-0520 New - Battery - Laptop - Laptop Battery - Cheap'

Cpu Cooler - core i7, cooling

Although large and heavy, it runs several degrees C cooler than the heatsink/fan delivered with the Intel Quad Core CPU. Running Core Temp, all 4 cores run under 40 C where as the Intel factory provided system was running 44 and higher at idle temps and 65 C + under load, which is what prompted me to purchase a larger heatsink.

I rarely hear the fan spin up faster and never see temps over 45 C even while running gaming applications.

CON: It is large and may require a little caution when installing depending on how your power wiring in your PC is setup. I had to tie one power wire to the case to keep it from touching the heatsink. Also it's own power wire for the fan needs a little care when installing. It can be pulled to tight and interfere with the fan.

Install was simple but does require you remove the motherboard as there is a back plate you must install to support the weight. It does not use the horrible push pin locking system that the factory setup does. Zalman CNPS9900LED Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler

OMG! I can't OC my Phenom from 3.0ghz to 3.8ghz with the stock cpu cooler without reaching 75'C-80'C (its true!)Then I bought this thing and added Arctic Silver 5 as my thermal paste. WHHHOOOAAA!!! Im 3.8ghz now with 57'C-60'C at 100% stress test. Isn't that lovely! Guys Highly recommended for the oc's, it work for me!

I was a bit confused because of the mixed reviews and the conflicting information in Amazon.com's product description. Contrary to what Amazon.com states above, they are actually shipping the *current* model of this cooler, which is the Zalman CNPS9900A LED. This latest model of the cooler comes with a mounting bracket for socket LGA155/1156. One of the reviews is from 2009, well and perhaps that is why the information is inaccurate. This is the *latest* version of the cooler, and it is *beautiful* and *effective!*

However, assembling the cooler is a bit trickier than the instructions report. The instructions correctly state that one has to remove the protective shroud before using the cooler. What the instructions do *not* say is that the protective shroud must be removed *before* one can install the base bracket on the cooler to mount it in the case. I wasted quite a bit of time trying to install base bracket on the fan before I realized that simply cutting off the protective plastic shroud made assembly simple.

I recommend the Zalman CNPS9900A LED CPU cooler highly and without reservation. It is a highly effective cooler and it is beautiful, with a bright blue LED, while doing its job.

I am running a core i7 940 and was previously using the Intel stock cooler.

Performance:

I have the fan set to be controlled by the motherboard. When kicking off something like prime 95 you will instantly hear the fan kick up. At normal speeds the fan is pretty silent though. I also do not hear the fan spin up when playing games so the noise of the fan at full throttle doesn't really bother me since I rarely do anything except video encoding that would kick the fan up like prime 95 causes it to.

Temps:

Ambient temps 77-80 F (25 - ~27 Celsius) The basement tends to get warm during the summer.

The ranges are largely due to differences between the 4 cores.

Idle

Stock cooler: 47-51 Celsius

Zalman 9900: 35-40 Celsius

Gaming (Specifically tried World of Warcraft and Borderlands)

Stock cooler: 59-67 Celsius

Zalman 9900: 47-52 Celsius

Full load using Prime 95

Stock cooler: 90-95 Celsius

Zalman 9900: 60-63 Celsius

The full load I found very impressive also I am pleased with gaming temps being around the level it previously idled at.

Construction:

Fairly sturdy structure. The fins are incredibly thin which is excellent for airflow but you must be careful as I could easily see someone cutting themselves on them. The bottom contact surface looked very flat and had a mirror finish. I read reviews of peoples fans causing a rattling noise, but this was not the case for me at any speed. It is big, but due to its circular structure it fits well in my case and I did not have to remove my side 120mm fan that blows on the video card/north bridge area.

Installation:

To install I had to take the motherboard out which wasn't too much trouble since I have a full tower with tons of space. The only really annoying part was screwing the heatsink into the bracket. The one side of copper fins is wider than the other and the screws are unfortunately placed in a difficult to reach spot because of the fins. My advice would be to use a screwdriver with a long slim neck and even then you will be at an angle.

Summary: I would fully recommend this CPU cooler. The installation is what caused me to drop it to 4 stars and also the fact that there are better coolers on the market. For me though the performance was everything I hoped for and looks slick to boot.

Wow, this is awesome. It's brought my idling temp down from about 45°C to around 30°C, and the temp when playing games hasn't gotten more than around 45°C. I do have a case with very good airflow however.

Speaking of cases, if you don't have a big one, then try a smaller one of Zalman's coolers. This thing is preeeeeeeettyyy big.

I love this thing; it keeps everything super cool and it has a blue LED :D.

I would definitely recommend this cooler. Zalman FTW

This was the easiest to install CPU cooler I have done. An AMD install should take about five minutes to do though it includes brackets for various intel chips as well. Check the Zalman site for animated installation instructions as the paper instructions are difficult to follow (though for an AMD install they are hardly needed). There is a lot of room in my case with plenty of space between the cooler and the graphics card and ram modules. I see a lot of complaints about the copper fins being fragile but mine came with a hard plastic shell around the fins that I left on until I had it secured to the mother-board. I then carefully cut through the shell and had no problem with bent fins or cut hands. The blue led has a subtle glow which is nice. CPU was running at 39 degrees celsius which is fantastic! I'm glad I made this purchase for my new build. Specs below to help out anyone with the same mobo or other wondering if it will fit:

I am not one to put down any one or any company but why would I look at this product twice when I can get the same size Plain Shank Full Head Framing Nail in a 4000 pack at Lowes for $30.00. That's over 3000 extra nails for the same price. It will be interesting to see if this review shows up. I have used this brand and see no difference then other brands for less money such as Grip Rite. I have looked at the (review guidelines) I do not own stock in any home building supply company but I would like to see my fellow tool users get the most value for there money. Price, quantity and quality go hand and hand with any product. My name is Scott I am a tool addict. Thanks for letting me share.

ADDED 5-4-2011.. Good nails but shop for the better price. DON'T BOTHER WITH HOME D. CHECK LOWES EVERYDAY PRICES B & C Eagle A312X131/22 Round Head 3-1/2-Inch by .131-Inch by 20 to 22 Degree Plastic Collated Framing Nail (500 per Box)

If you have a Porter Cable FR350, for some reason finding nails can be a slight problem. The mega home store with the orange sign has them, but not consistently. So these are a good stop-gap until you can find more. They drive well and seem to hold well.

If you are looking for the highest quality nails for your nails gun then you better get these. I have used these forever and they have performed to the highest extent the whole time. They have never jammed or messed up my guns. These are top of the line

These may be great nails, but they'll probably jam and misfire with the Porter Cable FR530 nail gun. The FR530 needs plastic-collated nails, not paper-collated like these are. I made the mistake of buying a ... case of paper-collated nails, only to have non-stop problems with them. Only on the Porter Cable website does it mention that the gun uses plastic-collated.

I used these nails in a Porter Cable round head framing nailer. They worked very well and I have not had a single misfire or jam. I can only speak from experience for the Porter Cable nailer, but highly recommend them for this particular nailer.

I would like to see a better match for the gun, and larger quantities at local store prices. The nails have yet to jam; however, the gun stops ALWAYS with about 3 to 5 nails left in gun and I just need to keep adding some more to keep gun going.

These are 16d nails that measure 3.5" ... I used these nails to frame 2x6 walls and to frame the rafters on a 20x 16 garage... these nails never jammed or misfired... have recently ordered more of these nails.. - Christianity - Nails - Hero - Bill'

Expanding File Jackets - smead, storage

These 13 pocket expanding files are a MUST for organization. Get at least three. One to organize your receipts (1 current month and 12 past months), one to organize your classes, clubs, and careers, and one as a portable tickler file until I can store the new information into the relevant places. Smead Frequency Expanding Files, Waterproof and Tear Resistant Materials (70863)

This is an excellent quality expanding file. It is sturdy and looks professional and includes paper label inserts to personally label your sections as you like. The clasp is secure and easy to use. Would buy again!

This folder is excellent! It comes with enough pockets and the corners are sealed so that any small items cannot fall out. The pocket separators are clear, and you can add labels to the tabs on top to separate documents. It has an elastic band that you can snap on to close the folder and keep it that way.

I used this for international travel and it was great, I always knew where all my documents where and they were easy to find.

This folder was exactly what I needed to carry around a lot of various papers; its many pockets expand several inches, so running out of space is not an issue. However, the plastic that is used to make the sidings is very weak, particularly at the point where it is bonded to the case at the rear. Upon opening the expanding file, the plastic tore away from the bond. It still functions, but when the folder is open, it flops over on one side. If you can be careful, you might be able to avoid this, but with little effort, mine snapped under the pressure.

Much more room than I had expected. I think I could fit several hundred pages in here, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Even each compartment has enough space for a small novel. If I were to guess, the entire file folder expands to about 8" wide.

Now the *exterior* material may be of the type that resists water and is stiff, but I can see my pages underneath. It covers the top, front and back. Not underneath. The inside compartments appear to be glued or pressed in, with a much thinner material, almost like a tearable plastic film. Today is my first day owning it. So far so good, but I can see the potential for this falling completely apart. By that I mean if it breaks down, nothing will keep your papers inside because that durable exterior plastic does not wrap all the way around the folder.

What bugs me, however, it that they sent me one that was damaged. That little elastic band that holds it shut has little notches on it, giving the appearance that it has been squeezed or that the band has deteriorated. I'm very disappointed they would attach damaged materials to their product. This is how you lose customers, guys. Design is one thing, but quality control is another. This wasn't something that happened in shipping or packaging, you tried to use materials that should have been thrown away. This band will surely snap in a matter of days, being that part of it is only holding together by a few threads. - File Organizer - Expanding File Jackets - Storage - Smead'

Cutoff Saw - milwaukee, metal cutting miter saw

This Dry-Cut saw is really amazing. I've always had a 14" abrasive cut-off saw. But I quickly tired of the noise and especially the mess it created. And I always used it out in my driveway, because of the sparks. And when using an abrasive cut-off saw, you are always required to add a fraction of an inch to your measurement to allow for the melting of your work piece. The Milwaukee 6190 Dry-Cut Cuts much faster, perfectly smooth (no aftercut grinding required), low noise, very few sparks and the mess (tiny chips) are easily swept up with my shop broom. I now use this saw in my garage without fear of catching something on fire or tracking the mess in the house. We don't want to upset the wife! The precision is unsurpassed. Cuts right on the line. And I can place it on my portable welding table without clamping it down. There is absolutely "No" vibration. The motor shows off its torque when you hit the power switch. I rate this saw a "True 5-Star" in all areas.

And I must say. After checking every possible way to purchase this Dry-Cut saw at my local retailers and every website I could find, Amazon once again proved it was the least expensive by far. And I received free shipping. The saw arrived exactly seven days after I placed the order in perfect condition and I saved $50 to $150 or possibly more.

After owning many different brands of power tools, I prefer Milwaukee tools. Although many brands pack plenty of punch, the power cords on Milwaukee tools never crack or suffer from dry-rot like so many other name brand power tools I've had.

I can't decide which cutting tool I like better, my Plasma Cutter or my new Dry-Cut saw. I guess it depends on the task at hand. Milwaukee 6190-20 15 Amp 14-Inch Metal Cutoff Machine

Milwaukee's 6190-20 is a reasonably good dry cut saw, similar in most respects to the other dry cut and abrasive chop saws I've used. The base and motor support are solidly built. The vise works fairly well, though I wish I could tighten the backstop down just a bit more. The final tension seems just a bit light and isn't adjustable. As far as I can tell, it's the same design used on most metal-cutting chop saws. Angle markings on the base aren't terribly accurate and the design of the saw makes it difficult to get a combination square next to the fence and blade to verify the angle; it's hit or miss whether you'll end up with perfect 45-degree miters or not-quite-right 44-degree cuts. Compared to an abrasive chop saw, the Milwaukee 6190 cuts much faster, generates very few sparks, and doesn't heat the metal appreciably. It does have a tendency to throw metal shavings all over the place, but I find them easier to sweep up than the fine grit that ends up coating the shop after using an abrasive saw. Due the the amount of metal thrown off, I'll suggest that safety glasses are a requirement when using this tool, in addition to hearing protection. Like most metal cutting saws I've used, the Milwaukee 6190 doesn't feature an electronic soft-start on the motor; when you squeeze the trigger the motor kicks in at full torque and tends to jerk the blade up or down if you don't have firm grip on the handle.

Unfortunately, the blade is a worthless piece of junk! Mine started to go dull after four dozen cuts through 2" square tubing. In the process, it caught a piece of metal and sucked it into the saw, completely ruining the blade guard! Luckily, no one was injured when this happened and, surprisingly, the crappy blade wasn't damaged. I had the blade re-sharpened, but it only lasted for another dozen or two cuts before it was dull again. Called Milwaukee tech support to see if they had any suggestions for making blades last longer and the only thing they could tell me was that the didn't recommend re-sharpening their blade. I ended up paying $105 for a Metal Devil 14-Inch, 72 Tooth blade and have had smooth sailing ever since... minus a working blade guard.

Factor the cost of the replacement blade into the purchase price of this tool... or buy the DeWalt DW872 and hope DeWalt supplies better blades!

This Milwaukee dry-cut saw is awesome, heavy-duty, fun-to-use, and saved our shop oodles of money.

Our family started a target stand fabrication business, Target Meister, where we started out cutting everything with an abrasive chop saw. Because we sell professional quality stands, every cut needed to be hit with the disc and/or die grinder; no-burrs allowed. Due to the imprecise edges cut by the abrasive saw, the welder must compensate with mad welding skills and a square; everything must be perfect.

After analyzing labor costs a few months ago, I noticed we were spending significant amounts of time on grinding and welding. I saw an episode of American Chopper where Paul Jr. makes a perfectly straight and burr-free cut on some kind of a chop saw. I knew that was exactly what our shop needed to solve our labor problem. After some research, I purchased the Milwaukee 6190-20. That was the biggest money-saving decision I have made in quite some time. Since this saw has entered our shop, the abrasive cutter, die grinder, and disc grinder have not left the storage cabinet and welding time has been cut by almost 30%. This saw paid for itself in two days! I estimate that there is also a savings in carbide blades versus abrasive cutting wheels, but that's insignificant compared to the labor savings.

I uploaded two customer product images (top of product page) to demonstrate the cut quality of the original Milwaukee 72 tooth blade. It's not bad, but after about 350 cuts, the blade was dull. I got it resharpened for $22 and also bought two Tenryu blades, a 90 and 72 tooth. The Tenryu blades make the Milwaukee blade look bad. They cut much faster and cleaner and last 3 to 4 times longer. Also, they emit almost no vibration when compared to the Milwaukee blade, which really shakes the saw and reduces the cut quality (notice the cut lines in my images). Quality blades are highly recommended and well worth the extra money.

This saw has yet to blow a 15 amp breaker. With our other abrasive cutters, we always needed to run an extension cord to a 20 amp outlet or periodically make trips to the breaker box.

Cool things you can do with this saw that you *cannot* do with an abrasive cutter:

1. Trim edges - Sometimes the edges of material are a little beat up or rounded. This saw will trim off a 1/16, no problem. An abrasive cutter will always slip off, giving you a slope.

2. Cut accurately - It's nice to be able to make a cut and immediately take edge measurements with calipers and not wonder if you're off eight thousands because of a burred edge. Also, if you're careful, you can get most cut lengths to 1/32 or less.

3. Cut fast - It really is amazing how fast this saw cuts; easily 3x to 5x faster, depending on material. 1x2x1/8 tubing cuts in less than one second. The blade literally falls through the material like a hot knife through butter. I smiled my first cut; couldn't believe it.

4. Cut cold - We don't have to wear gloves anymore in fear of getting burned or a metal sliver.

5. Make less mess - The metal filings are large and isolated to the area around the saw. The abrasive spews a fine black powder dust that settles on everything in the shop. - Metal Cutting Miter Saw - Metal-cutting Saws - Milwaukee - Chop Saw'
