Great Product - white board, board dudes

These pens are great in my kindergarten classroom. The caps "snap" on so the children can listen for the "snap" to make sure the cap is on tightly. They last a very long time and the tip holds up to a ton of writing. They erase easily from mirrors as well as dry erase surfaces. BIC Great Erase Grip "Pocket" Dry Erase Marker, Fine Point, Assorted, 6 Dry Erase Markers (GDEP61-Ast)

When they originally arrived, the markers seemed to be dried out... I decided to still give them a chance and left them sitting upside down under my desk lamp for a week... They work fine now. The only reason I don't give them a five is that. Otherwise I do prefer these markers to others, because of the rubber grips. The ink and erase quality is the same as Expo markers.

This product -- a package of six different-colored fine point dry erase markers -- does live up to what the manufacturer promises. They are low-odor to practically no-odor, the rubber grips are comfortable to hold, and marks on a small whiteboard do erase cleanly and easily (one quick swipe). The clarity of the six different colors is good, with blue perhaps the best of the six and orange the weakest. These are good for small white boards (think "Little House on the Prairie" school slate size).

I give them a four mainly as a precaution to potential buyers. I did expect them to be fine-point and not good for large classroom white boards, just the small ones; buyers do need to be aware of this. Also, the contrast of the orange marker to my small white board was just weak enough to prevent me from giving a five. In addition, at this point, I cannot tell how long the markers will last. With these things in mind, though, I can recommend this product. - Dry Erase - White Board - Board Dudes - Markers'

Science Fiction - invasion, science fiction

I liked this show and I'm kind-of bummed that it isn't coming back. I liked the characters and while the SFX wasn't always the greatest, it was very X-Files first season. Limited budgets sometimes don't lead to the greatest effects! But the show had heart. And if you suspended your disbelief for a moment or two, it had a sense of wonderment too. Like you were seeing something grand, discovering new life right there with the characters.

That's what made this show, the characters. Rich and Laura were great - Rich in his undying faith and Laura in her pragmatism. They had great chemistry and made the show work. Miles was another great character. Even though some of his scenes with Nim didn't always look right, he made it work as best as he could.

Yes, this show had flaws. They all do. Lost wasn't perfect when it first began but ABC was willing to let it grow. I never got the feeling that NBC had faith in the show. If they had just given it a little TLC, this baby would have swam laps around other shows!

But what we are left with is still really good! I'm totally going to buy this when it comes out. Surface: The Complete Series

The great advantage that Surface offered over The X-Files was that it stayed on its key story without interrupting one-shot adventures. A vast tapestry of characters that only finally all came together in the climactic 15th episode, Surface had a focus that the other great conspiracy/sci-fi giant lacked. The X-Files finally felt as though it were being made-up as the writers went along, with the big conspiracy being revealed in the end to be a recycled 1970s "ancient astronaut" idea that was already dated when the old Battlestar Galactica played with it in 1978. Surface, on the other hand, showed every sign of meticulous planning by the writers, teasing us along in one ongoing saga that rewarded our attention. The utter lack of faith NBC showed in such a well-crafted project with a broad demographic appeal was mirrored only by the CW's similarly inexplicable decision to kill the equally-exceptional Everwood. The spring of 2006 was apparently a hard time to be excellent television.

The DVD set will remain exceptional science-fiction/thriller viewing. Yet it will also have more than a hint of tragedy for the viewer in the "what might have been" of what the ongoing story could have become.

This was my favorite of the three new sci-fi shows included in the "new season" last year. I think it cruel to leave all the viewers hanging without proper closer to the series. At the very least a "made-for t-v" movie should be made to give us fans the ending of the story.

I gave this 4 stars instead of the 5 it derserves only because the network has not given us the story ending the show and the fans deserve.

If you liked the classic Spielberg movies like Close Encounter, Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park and movies he was working on like The Goonies and Gremlins and if you like the James Cameron movie The Abyss, then you will love SURFACE! The new series is the best SciFi series ever I think. You ask why? The answer: It has great actors and it is set into our own world right now. It has great mysteries (which we will never get answered thanks to NBC!!!) and this sense of wonder I was missing for years on SciFi television. No space crafts and future stories... instead a great mystery SciFi setting in our 'real' world with subplots about (maybe?) alien beeings, sea monsters, mutants and advanced genetics.

Buy this DVD if you have never heard from this show because you will not regret it!

I can't believe NBC dropped this show! This shows only once more the TV companies do not have the brightest people working for them... a very bad decission to not giving this great series another season... and a big letdown for all the fans of this show.

I WAS HOOKED from the very first scene of this wonderful show! Surface didn't get a chance to be viewed by many people. I live in the UK and you have to have Sky and watch an obscure channel to see this show. which is a great shame. Instead a sketchy show like Invasion that gets a huge launch, over-hyped and lacked eveything this show had.

BRING IT BACK!!!! At least one more season, please!

when i first watched i was very supprised how much was in each episode! Key events happen in each one. there are three main characters who all have a brush with the creatures, which take them further into the mystery. the acting is good, the stories are gripping and the effects are great! you'll be hooked!!!

GIVE IT A CHANCE!!!

A couple of new shows caught my attention last season. The first was Supernatural. Which has filled my Buffy/Angel void. It ended in a cliffhanger. I am greatly anticipating the coming season.

The second show was Surface. I got right into the characters and their various experiences with the creatures. I learned quickly not to miss the first few minutes of any episode, because something dramatic or spectacular would start it off.

This show was also left with a cliffhanger. A very popular idea this season. (See Smallville and Battlestar Galactica) The difference here is NBC cancelled the show. With all the repetative garbage on the networks, it's a shame that something truly unique like Surface wasn't given a chance to grow. I can only hope a cable network like Sci Fi has the good sense to pick it up.

I absolutely loved this! I cannot believe that it is not coming back! I was so looking forward to seeing how mankind and the creatures might co-exist! There are so many possibilities for future episodes! I have been serching all over for this! I am so glad that I found it! I will watch it over and over again!!!

I looked forward to each and every episode - and hoped against hope that there would be a "button-up" episode at the end. NBC's promo for the final episode was "all your questions will be answered". Who would buy a truncated series? I, for one, won't torture myself. - Science Fiction - Invasion - Tv Series - Surface'

Belt

I bought this belt (Brown) on Amazon. I am pretty impressed with it. It goes well with jeans and Khakis. The finish of the buckle and grains on the brown the belt are the work of a master designer. A cool belt to buy. Tommy Hilfiger Men's 1 1/2-Inch Leather Casual Belt, Black, Size 36

I have bought different makes of belts on Amazon, Kenneth cole, tommy, etc.

Kenneth cole i bought size 36 and 34, although my waist size is actual size 34 inches, KCole's 34 fits me fine.But Tommy 34 is short, i will have to get a size 36.

Otherwise else, the quality of the belt is good and I would recommend it for gifting to others.Goes well on jeans as well as chinos.

I like the way on Macy's site they mention if a particular belt size is sized smaller and suggest to get a size/two size larger than we normally would.If AMazon would help us, that way i wouldn't have to keep buying two belts to try out!

Great belt. Many belts this wide are stiff and some lose their color after some wear, not this one. I have had this belt for several months and wear it several times per week and so far it has held it's color very well. It is also one of the softest leather belts I own. I am very pleased with this belt.

As with most belts these days (and sadly also a lot of other stuff -like shoes for instance....)this one is way too small for the size you are told.

A 34 is more like a 30 and you should consider that when buying.

Other than that the leather is ok only the colour (=black) seems to wear of quickly.

It is too expensive for the price you can most likely find a similar quality for less.

Unless you need the Label of course.

I bought a belt like this about two years ago, I was really happy with the quality of this product, I decided to get a new one to have a spare but I was surprised because the quality is not so good as the quality from the previous one. I don't recommend to buy this item anymore.'

Camping Grills - camping grills, coleman grill

We have used these grates all year and love them. Easy clean-up -- can go right in the dishwasher (when we get back from camping!) The other reviewer needs to remember that the grates are non-stick, so SOS pads can be a little rough on them. Coleman does now make a cast iron grill grate for the Roadtrip grill. Maybe they need to get those instead. Coleman RoadTrip Cast Aluminum Accessory Grill

These grill grates are very nice, but you have to treat them the same way you treat any piece of non-stick cookware. Rule #1: no metal implements. You have to use nylon or wood implements or you'll scratch the nonstick coating off. Rule #2: use plain sponges or abrasive pads that are non-stick safe only (usually the blue pads). SOS pads and other green pads can scour through metal and will definitely remove the non-stick coating.

After using my Road Trip for about a year, I'm beginning to see flaking of the non-stick coating. They still work great, but take a little more effort to completely clean. I'm probably going to try the cast iron grill grate next.

I like my Coleman Road Trip Grill. I took it to a park as a backup, but ended up using it for our party. I had the grill for a few years, and never had problem with it. But at the end of the party, when the grease begin to burn. The Al grll melted. I am going to order a cast Fe this time.Coleman RoadTrip Cast Aluminum Accessory Griddle

I purchased this grill because it was aluminum and had a non stick coating. They clean up easily unfortunately the non stick coating is very thin and comes off using a scotch brite sponge. I knew to be careful but didn't think I had to be that careful. I assumed it would be as durable as most non stick appliances. So much for assuming. Cast iron may of been a better long term choice.

I ordered 2 relplacement grills for my Coleman roadtrip grill. It came with cast iron grills but I ordered one cast iron and one aluminum by mistake. The aluminum was so much lighter and appears to be easier to clean. I sent back the cast iron and ordered the second aluminum one. Haven't cooked on it yet but I think it will be much easier to clean. - Grill - Camping Grills - Grilling - Coleman Grill'

Keyless Deadbolt

I recently bought one of these for our home after we moved in. Now I don't need to fumble with keys every time I need to ket in the house, and I don't have to worry about kids losing or forgetting keys.

Like other schlage locks I have owned, this unit seems to be very well made, sturdy, and easy to install. The programming of codes is simple, and codes can be added or deleted just by using the keypad. Keypad use as far as entering codes or even updating codes is straighforward. The fact that a simple button push "lights up" the buttons at night is also cool.

The buttons are also epoxy-coated, so the numbers won't "wear off" thus revealing the codes used. I have a separate code for each family member, and can easily add codes if I have a contractor stopping by.

A key can be used to open the lock if for some reason the electronic part stops functioning (too cold from sub-sero weather, perhaps?). Since this is a Schlage lock, it can even be re-keyed so that the key you have matches the other Schlage locks your house may have. Schlage FE595VCAM619ACC Camelot Keypad Accent Lever Door Lock, Satin Nickel

The other reviews have covered the product very well, so I am just commenting on the battery life. My 9 volt battery that came with the lock lasted 1 month. I just assumed it had been sitting in the package and was near it's exp. date. The 2nd battery I installed was a fresh Everyready Alkaline 9 volt. It lasted a total of 4 months. There are only 3 family members in my house, so I don't think it is a matter of heavy use.

My point is that 4 months is a long way from the 3 years advertised so consider this when you are thinking of getting this lock.

4/5/09 Another update...3rd battery lasted less than 1 week and when it failed the door sat unlocked all day, not good. Will contact Schlage for replacement, but do not like to have to return things and pay shipping

I timed my installation of this at a surprizing 15 minutes, including removing the old doorknobs and reversing the handles on the keyless entry. Usually everything takes twice as long with me! The only hard part was deciding which door to put it on- the main house entry or an outbuilding I use a lot.

An earlier review stated that the lock shuts down for 5 minutes after four consecutive missed entries of combinations. I timed mine at 30 seconds shutdown, confirmed in the owner's manual.

The thing is made well, heavy duty even. Easy to program and delete combinations. I was hoping to gain entry a tad quicker by "swiping" a finger across four digits in a row, but this won't allow that; it wants a discret push of a number on the keypad with a very short time between entries. So it takes 3-4 seconds to open the door.

No complaints, but I await the day the 9V battery gives out and I have to remove the inside portion of this lock to replace it. Then I may have my first gripe!

P.S. - I paid $118 (on sale) for mine in bright brass at Lowe's, Jan.'09.

Having just purchased a new home and in need of replacing the locks, we did a great deal of research on the various companies before settling on Schlage. Of course, they are a decent mid-level quality lock and there are much more secure, and much less secure lock ratings than found within this line (i.e., commercial, etc). We selected this keyless lock to use on an outdoor utility/laundry shed with the intention of being able to access laundry the laundry room easily without the need for keys. It has been wonderful, and we enjoy the bronze colored finish a great deal. I have heard that it can peel and crack, so be sure to keep your receipts in a safe place, or your original packaging, should you need to send it back to Schlage for warranty work (there is a lifetime warranty, as far as I am aware).

The lock is easy to program and uses a 6 digit master code for this purpose. You can store 2 four digit entry codes in the lock at at time, and they can be changed using the 6 digit code. As others have mentioned, this is useful when contractors need access to the home. For example, we were able to have the sprinkler system repair guy do some work on the house because of this.

As for the battery life, I can't comment much on it, except to say that we are still on the battery that came with the unit and it has been about 2 months. I would note, however, that we do not use this system on an entry door to the main house. Rather, it is in a location where it is not used every day. Nevertheless, we live in a very hot climate, which usually kills batteries at a faster rate, and have not encountered a problem with the lock as of yet.

Thus far, we have been very pleased. If I encounter any problems, I will be sure to update the review, but at present, I am very satisfied. A note of caution - be sure to retain the instructions included with the lock, as they contain the 6 digit code necessary to change the entry codes. If you happen to misplace this, you will need to take the lock apart to get the code, as it is inside of the lock.

I had all the same positive reactions listed by others when I installed this. After I had been using it about six months, the 1-4 digits stopped working - when I pressed them nothing at all happened, though all the other buttons worked. This was intermittent for a while and then they quit altogether, taking me back to using a key. I called Schlage and was told that they recommend replacing the batteries every three months. Wonderful! Anyhow, I replaced the battery and guess what?! Now none of the buttons work at all! I have messed with the connections and all, but have been unable to revive it. So how do you send a lock in for repair? Just leave your door unprotected when you send it in? Anyhow, I misplaced my receipt, so I'm totally out of luck. I guess I'm just back to living with fishing out my key every time I need to get in.'

Naztech - clips, belt clip

So, I ordered this clip, got it, and used it for around a day. The next day, I went to clip it together, and the plastic guide snapped right off. It's not very durable, so if you're looking for something that's going to, say, hold your $100 phone from falling on the ground, this clip is not for you. Naztech Universal Micro Belt Clip Holder (Black)

The clip is good and does it's job. However, the adhesive that it comes with is not that great. Mine ripped off after a day. I highly recommend putting a stronger adhesive to make sure that you don't break anything you're holding with his. - Naztech - Belt Clip - Clips'

Expansion Pack - games, simulation

I wouldn't say the Sims 3 Deluxe is SOOO amazingly better than the Sims 3. But it is an improvement, if you like more variety in your career choices and if you like controlling Sims at work (only available in professions, not jobs). Other than that, not a big difference between the two games. But just a review of the overall game, well, it's great. Infinitely better than the Sims 2! However, it's so good, it doesn't play *very* well on my laptop. It's choppy sometimes, and the graphics aren't great in ordinary gameplay. In Create-A-Sim, it's fantastic. But in gameplay, try not to get too close to their faces. It's a little weird. But if you have a good graphics card I'm sure it'll play fine. Anyway, things I love about the game are the new sliders that came with the recent update (WOW! THANK YOU!), the fact that you pretty much never hit a loading screen except when changing from gameplay to menu or create-a-sim or whatever, and the fact that you can switch families in the same neighborhood and your old sims just go on with their lives. I also like the water ripple effects, but that doesn't mean a lot now does it? Hope you enjoy your Sims!! The Sims 3 Deluxe

My daughter loves this game and plays it non-stop. However, that's only because she got a MacBook Air for Christmas. Prior to that she was using a 13" MacBook that has an Intel integrated GMA 950 video card. This card is not supported, but nowhere is this shared - not in Amazon's description and not on the back of the software case. I finally found this little nugget of information after combing through the manual and researching it online. The game installed & loaded perfectly and appeared to run fine - no graphics issues with any of the scenery and backgrounds. However, once you tried to build a Sim, all that could be seen was their hair, eyes and shoes. Everything else was a black shadow.

I eventually returned the DVD and downloaded the software from Direct2Drive directly onto her MacBook Air and it works flawlessly. Since this review is supposed to be for the game, it gets 5 stars, but I wanted everyone to be aware that their video card may or may not work. It's best to research that before purchasing.

The Sims 3 is an amazing game. You can do basically anything with them. If you have ever wanted to have freedom and unlimited fun, then buy the SIms 3. You can become an astronaut, a pilot, a firefighter, and even a mad scientist! As well as being able to have children, maybe even triplets or twins, you can get medical advice or relax at the spa for the day. You can even get an expensive car or the limo of your dreams. If you want to live big, go ahead and buy the mansion, but if you just want to have a cozy place to stay, feel free to buy a small house near the ocean. Your sim will have all new traits and responsibilities like washing the dishes and being a natural cook or slob. An all new feature is having a wedding and being able to choose clothes. There is a wide variety of clothing to choose from. Your sim can also exercise and even change its name. You can overrun other businesses and even accomplish goals or lifetime wishes.

If you liked the previous Sims games, prepare to be surprised when you buy the SIms 3. It's a must have for any Sims lover. I hope to get the expansion packs later on!

I've been an avid Sims player ever since the original Sims and I've got to say this game is fantastic. The Sims 3 has come a LONG way since the first Sims and it's even made huge improvements since Sims 2. The characters are much more realistic, there are a ton more clothes to choose from, building houses is a dream, and there's so many new features in furnishing your home that it's almost overwhelming. If you've always wanted more control and options to choose from for limitless levels of customization, this is your game.

So far I have not run into any bugs and I'm on a Macbook Pro purchased Thanksgiving 2010. The only issues I had were when I was first installing it and it froze up so that I had to shut down my computer but after that, everything has been running flawlessly. Load time for the actual game is pleasantly quick but it does take a bit longer when loading your actual game. Still, it's nothing compared to how long it used to take. The graphics are great and all the controls are pretty simple to figure out. This game incorporates a lot of the original Sims features which is really nice but includes a lot of newer stuff, such as being able to turn furniture and counters diagonally.

As for the actual Sims, I've read a ton of reviews that think these Sims are a lot uglier than the ones in Sims 2. They're really not as bad as some people are making them out to be. They resemble Sims 2 a lot but are much, much more realistic. Their faces are a bit thick, making them seem a little chubby in the cheeks, but I don't think it's as big of a deal as some are making it. They still look like Sims but with a ton more detail and a lot more human-like. You can customize their body size and shape, and even add your desired amount of muscle tone. Create-A-Sim is amazing. There are a TON of options to choose from when customizing, I spent a lot of time just scrolling through everything and trying on all different outfits. The best part is that you can choose your own color scheme for nearly anything, and you have many MANY traits to create their personalities with.

Building and furnishing homes, like I said before, is a dream. The menus are well-organized and easy to navigate. Building is just like how it's always been except with a few more menus and tools to allow easier creation. I do think that flooring and wallpaper options are a fairly limited, especially compared to the rest of the game; it's typical Sims choices with either really plain or really funky looking stuff and not a ton of options. The thing that I didn't like to build was the driveway/garage. I always build my houses before putting in that stuff and go figure, the parking spot for the driveway doesn't fit onto my land with the garage. There's also only two driveways to choose from and they're really two different sized parking spaces. If you had Sims 2 when building that was super easy, you might be wondering why those features weren't included. Landscaping is great though, lots of plants and trees to choose from with many new choices. I think the flower selection is kind of limited too but there are definitely more options than ever before. And furnishing is so cool. There are so many pieces to choose from, quite a few menus to select from, and they even added toilet paper rolls for the bathroom. After painting and flooring your house with not so many choices, furnishing it with a million and one things to pick from is REALLY nice.

Actual game play - just like how Sims has always been. It's almost a relief because there's so much new stuff that you're almost expecting Sims interaction to be different too. There are more things you can do, like ask another Sim how their day is and ask to go steady. I haven't been around town yet or gotten them jobs but they do have so many really awesome career paths to choose from, like passive private eye or an astronaut. One thing I don't like about the game play is that their free will is more than free. For example, I was trying to have my Sim begin painting but she wanted to go watch TV and my command was just erased. Granted I'm going to change the settings but I wish I didn't have to. But I haven't had any problems with my Sims setting themselves on fire or being overly negative about anything and hating life or not wanting to move. Their wishes are fun and interactive, they give you a goal and they're more manageable than some of the ones the Sims 2 would give you. I haven't run into any bugs with this yet either.

Overall this is a great game. There are some features that I wish were included in this game but all in all, I cannot complain. It's very addicting and you feel like you have a ton of stuff to do. I recommend this to anyone, and if you're on the fence between Sims 2 Deluxe and this game, I'd definitely say go with this one. - Games - Pc Game - Sims - Simulation'

Wicker Furniture - lounge chairs, patio furniture

I spent a long time shopping online for inexpensive outdoor furniture that's also stylish, so I was pleased to find this 4-piece set with clean lines. It was easy to put together, and it's sturdy enough to meet our needs. The cushions are a little thinner than you might find on the more expensive furniture, but the chairs and love seat are still comfortable. Overall, I think it's a good product for the price. Strathwood Brentwood 4-Piece Outdoor Furniture Set

the strathwood Brentwood set looked great on the web and to be honest the framing is good. The problem is with the padding in the cushions. We received the furniture on a Monday and put it together and sat on one chair for about an hour on Monday. I notied the seat pad had depressed and I thought its new and should pop back up. Well two weeks have passed and it never did. I sat in other seats and within no time the seats are flat.

I have never had patio furniture where the seat padding was so cheap. There are no zippers for the cushions to change out the padding so i am gonna just replace all the pads and mark this one up to a learning experience. I will learn not to purchase from this manufacturer again. I would have been better off buying from WalMart or Target,

We received this in a state of disrepair. Frames were bent, screws were stripped and after spending 10 hours putting it together could only get the love seat and coffee table set up. The two chairs were so broken they could not be put together. I contacted the company who said to contact Amazon. Amazon was helpful but could not replace the chairs as they had none in stock. They ended up refunding me half my money but now we have a love seat and coffee table on our deck and no chairs. Very disappointing experience.

Outside coating/covering "bubbled" up and has peeled off within first few months of ownership. Made it unsafe to use, people actually could get cut severely. Just has gotten worse over time and there is no way to contact seller. Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent.

I received free shipping with an order to my daughter for Christmas. There was no mention of anyone needing to be home at delivery time and she has not been contacted by anyone for delivery scheduling. I received letter from freight company applying charges for over $200 for storage due to them not being able to deliver. Amazon needs to make their delivery guidelines clearer to customers. If they need to be home for delivery it should be stated. I am being charged for something I do not feel I should be liable to pay. I will not use Amazon again for ordering after this experience. It's been a nightmare and we still do not have the merchandise.

The frame is assembled my threading screws in one part to a nut welded to another. on 3 of the 4 pieces, there was at least 1 nut that was welded into place crooked. I was able to assemble all pieces but had difficulty with cross-threading and binding.

All in all, the quality of the furniture was so-so and may not be a good choice for a novice.

I had a more significant problem with delivery. The courier service, Home Direct, received the product in our city 2 days prior to the expected delivery date. A representative for Home Direct or their local affiliate called and told us that they wouldn't come to our area until the following week and that there was nothing they could do. The courier then reported to Amazon that the customer requested rescheduled delivery (presumably to hide the fact that they couldn't/wouldn't deliver as scheduled). I was told multiple times over several days that Homes Direct would call me to reschedule delivery, and multiple times they did not call.

The delivery service was lack-luster at best or fraudulent at worst. The incident was reported to Amazon customer service who said that they would investigate

First of all, let me say that I've only just now finished assembling this furniture. I haven't used them yet.

My first impression of the set is that it's about what I expected. For $500, you're getting an aluminum frame and fairly cheap cushions. You're not getting a lot of style or incredible comfort, but I've looked all over and, for the price, I don't think this set can be beaten. It looks nice, provides a great outdoor space and is more comfortable than sitting on a simple lawn chair. The only reason I've rated this a 4 instead of a 5 is because the finish on the frames is pretty spotty and suspect. I believe it will hold up well, but I wouldn't expect it to last more than 5 years or so out in the elements. I plan on covering mine when not in use to minimize the wear-and-tear.

Please follow the meager assembly instructions that come with it. The screws and the screw-mounts are not the best quality. I consider myself a fairly skilled handyman and it wasn't until the 3rd try that I managed to figure out the best way to assemble this set.

First of all, if at all possible, assemble this inside on a carpet. This will allow you to do it more comfortably and will also keep the pieces from getting scratched.

Attach one side of a chair to the seat as specified, however only tighten the screws two revolutions, no more. Attach the other side in the same manner. Then attach the back to the other 3 pieces. Only AFTER you have gotten every screw started correctly in each hole should you start to tighten the screws down. Take your time and work around the chair, tightening each screw about 5-6 revolutions at a time, NO MORE! If you have an electric screwdriver, ratcheting screwdriver or ratchet set with the proper Allen/star bits, it will help a great deal.

Once you have all the pieces snug against each other, continue moving around the chair and tighten each screw with your ratchet or whatever fits the screw best. Do everything very deliberately and carefully to make sure you don't strip a screw. TAKE YOUR TIME. On one chair I tightened a side before I got all the screws properly mounted. It took me almost 2 hours to correct my mistake! However, on the loveseat, I followed the above procedure and the entire assembly took me about 20 minutes.

SUMMARY: Great set for the price. Take your time and assemble slowly and carefully. - Patio Set - Lounge Chairs - Patio Furniture - Furniture'

These Lockey digital Locks are the BEST. I was so sick and tired of keys, keys, keys everywhere. Then I had an employee lose the office key and she had to call a locksmith $$$. So I started researching electric battery locks. They did not seem to be very reliable, and what about when the battery dies. These Lockey Locks are high quality and easy to use and are totally mechanical, no batteries. You punch in the code and turn the knob, and yes, you can change the code. If you make a mistake, it is easy to clear the code by turning the knob and start over. You can even tell if someone has tried entering a code and not gained entry. The first thing you do when you approach the lock is turn the knob (this clears codes or mistakes), if you hear clicks, you know someone has tried entering a code (unsuccessfully). The lock comes with a pre-set code from the factory, but it is very easy to take the back off the lock and set your own code. Now my office, my home and even other buildings have these locks with the SAME CODE. It's wonderful. I could not be happier with these locks. Lockey Digital M210 Mechanical Keyless Entry Bump Proof Deadbolt Door Lock Satin Nickel Finish

The review "What more can you ask for?, October 5, 2009" wishes for the ability to use 6 "digit" key presses, implying that that would result in more security. This is not so.

Given a mechanical key press "digital" keypad:

10 different buttons ("0".."9"),

only able to press a button one time,

order of pressing buttons makes no difference;

then, the most unique combinations possible is 252.

Here is a quick table of all possibilities:

Count of Key presses = possible unique combinations

0 = 1

1 = 10

2 = 45

3 = 120

4 = 210

5 = 252

6 = 210

7 = 120

8 = 45

9 = 10

10 = 1

If you allow a burglar 15 seconds to try one of the possible 252 entry sequences, it will take only 1 hour and 3 minutes to run through all possible combination sequences. It is a trivial matter to write down a list of all possible combinations and just start keying them until the burglar hits the one that opens the lock. This kind of a lock is fine for a storage shed or office bathroom. I wouldn't want to use it on my house.

Look at this [...] for an easy to understand math on why this is so. This is not a defect of the product. ALL mechanical key press devices are like this. If you want keyless entry with thousands and thousands of possible combinations, you have to use a safe type rotary dial lock or an electronic push button type.

I have always been a big fan of keyless entry deadbolts. We have used an electronic one on the front door of our last 3 houses because they are so convenient. You don't have to keep your keys with you if you go for a walk. Also, if your company shows up at your house before you get home, you can just give them the code so they can go in and make themselves at home. Well anyway, I wanted to get a keyless entry for our shop building, but the door is much more exposed to the weather and the electronic ones can short out if they get wet. This lock is completely mechanical with no electrical components. The satin nickel finish is very attractive too. We installed it several months ago and it is working out great. The only reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5 are that it was a little on the pricey side and my husband did say that it was a little harder to install than the electrical ones. All in all though, I'm quite happy with the purchase.

This lock is great. I purchased the Satin Nickel finish and it looks great. Switching the door-handedness was simple, changing the code and adding a digit was simple, and installation was as simple as any other standard deadbolt.

It's a little misleading that it has the word "digital" written on it, as it's entirely mechanical, but that's not really a concern.

The one con I can think of is that the order of the code isn't important. If you code is "1-2-3-4", you can enter it as "1-2-3-4" or "4-3-2-1" and it will work both ways. Minor complaint. I also wish they let you bump the code up to 6 digits, but alas, the max is 5.

This lock is a little tricky to install, but once is on it seems like a very solid lock. You will have to drill additional hole so if you are ever going to go back to traditional lock this will have to be patched.

To change the combination the lock needs to be taken apart so be careful , who you give the combination to. Lock change is not hard but it's not something I'd want to do on a weekly bases .

I suggest one reads the directions first before getting mad about the lock fitting doors that open one way or another. It will fit either, just have to read how to change sides.

Everyone who looked at this lock for the first time has noticed how solid and tough this looks.

I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't need frequent code changes.

I purchased 4 keyless locks in the last 10 years. The 3 electronics one broke already, while this mechanical one still works perfect. Not only that, it doesn't even need batteries. This is one of the few items in the world that the electronics should be removed. I wish the price was cheaper though, but I'm happy to pay this higher price for the included lifetime warranty.

This item was dented and scratched in it's box when delivered to me. It looked like a used part. I installed it anyway, because I was in need. But I suspect the seller on this issue, more than the manufacturer.

The item itself is good. It can be a little tricky to hit the right buttons due to the viewing angle of numbers to buttons, in low light. Also, I wish there was a key override.

Before writing this review, I gave the product a good 2 weeks or trial before making any determination. So let me be clear, this is the best way to deadbolt/lock your doors end-of-story.

I replaced a standard deadbolt lock with this excellent product. It took only 15 minutes to drill an extra hole, change the combination and install the lock.

The only weakness in the product are the smaller screws on the back of the unit for changing the combination, they're made of soft metal, even with a proper sized phillips head they have a bit of give for my taste. I replaced them with hardened steel versions immediately to avoid any future issues for when I want to change the combination. This doesn't change my stance on the product since Home Depot is just down the street from me.

What makes this lock so great is peace of mind. Visiting relatives will never lose a key on me again! I'm putting these locks in all around the house as they really are the next step in keyless entry for you home. The fact they don't require power makes them worth it. - Keyless Deadbolt - Keyless - Mechanical - Dead Bolt'

Bicycle Maintenance - dry, chain

My chain is quiet, clean, and I have smooth shifting. I don't get my leg dirty when I touch it. This seems better than Pedros and White Lighning.

The spray bottle allows one to place the lube along the pins rather than dropping it on top of the chain. It seems more efficient.

"Uncle Al" Artizone of [...] says it is all he uses. Progold Prolink 16-Ounce Spray Chain Lube

Please note: I am reviewing this from Colorado, where trails are mostly dusty and the climate is dry!

After one year of use, I am still amazed at how well this product works. No more dust residue buildup, shifting is always snappy, chain looks as good as new! Just for the record, I tend to clean and re-lube my chain every 5-7 rides. I've tried several other brands in the last few years (Pedro's, Teflon, White Lightning, and pretty much all that comes to mind) and *none* even come close to this. Very highly recommended.

I've used this product for about five years and my only complaint is that it costs to much. The 16 oz pump spray goes a long way towards solving that. Keep a couple of the smaller bottles around to refill.

I have been using prolink for a number of years, and it is a really great chain oil. I use expensive and lightweight chains on my TRI bikes, and lube them frequently, so use up a lot of 4 ounce bottles in short order. To try and economize I ordered a 32 ounce container, which turned out to be a mistake.

The container opening is not drip proof. It is such a poor container, that the oil wicks over the lip and flows down the outsdide of the bottle and flows off the container bottom while you are pouring. A LOT!!! Even over a wide mouth funnel, there is going to be a mess to clean up afterwards. It is impossible to pour into anything from a Park chain lube tool to a smaller Prolink squeeze bottle container. I tried contacting ProLink about the problem to see if they had any suggestions, but their contact link on their web site has been dead for the last month.

My suggestion would be to buy the 16oz spray bottle - you won't gain any meaningful economy, but you won't end up with 10% of the product on the outsdide of the container.

I ride about 4,000 miles a year and lube my chain before every ride (see below). I also replace my chain once a year. I've been using ProLink Chain Lube for about 4 years. Note that I use the 4 oz bottle and not the 16 oz spray bottle.

PROS:

Not too thick - doesn't gum up my cassette.

Not too thin - doesn't spray off onto my chainstay and rear wheel.

Does a great job so your drive train is quiet and smooth.

CONS:

None

How I Lube My Chain: I use two baby wipes - they are pre-moistened, non-toxic (obviously) and don't shed or leave any lint. If they can clean a baby's bottom, they can clean your chain. This process takes about 5 minutes.

1. Before cleaning the chain, use the first baby wipe to clean your frame, rims and brake pads.

2. Then rub the baby wipe along your chain until it's black all over.

3. Use the second baby wipe to clean your frame some more.

4. Then use the second baby wipe to clean your chainrings and the derailer pulleys.

5. Use a paper towel to wipe any excess moisture from your chain and to make it shine.

6. Also use the paper towel to wipe off any grit from your pedals and cleats.

7. Apply a smmall amount of ProLink to the top of the lower section of chain.

8. Rotate the chain and apply again until the inside surface is lubricated.

8. Run the chain between your thumb and forefinger to evenly distribute the ProLink and to remove any excess.

The photo for this product shows a bottle with a large label, presumably put there by the manufacturer. I received the item with no label--just a liquid in a bottle. It could be anything. I'm certainly not going to put it on my bike.

My recommendation: AVOID THIS VENDOR (Niagara Cycle). They are running a bait and switch.

Oh, and if you want to return the item Amazon takes itself out of the loop, not providing the usual printed return label. You have to hassle with Niagara Cycle. Thanks a lot Amazon. - Dry - Chain - Bicycle Maintenance - Chain Lube'
