Abdominal Support

I really researched the belly band product before buying this one. I bought two sizes of the bandit before having my first baby in order to have the proper size. I found that with both belly bandits, the material bunched, pinched and lost its shape. At this point it becomes useless as a belly band because instead of it being smooth and firm its bunched and wobbly. I am a fit and tall woman and the band creased two days into wearing it and never regained its shape, even with washing and an attempt to reshape.

The idea of the band is good for the post pregnancy time when your belly and its contents are jiggling around and somewhat painful however, this is not a great product. The marketing is smart but the product is cheap and not meant to last the 6 weeks it suggests.

Also, this product is VERY visible under clothes. Everyone who came over to see the baby asked me what I was wearing under my loose shirt. The sound of the velcro crunching when I sat did not help matters either.

I would try another product next time. Nude Original Belly Bandit - Small

I am 5'4'', and this wrap is a bit long for my torso - the top inch of the wrap is actually covering up the bottom of my rib cage, and the stiff fabric is poking into my breasts, which are pretty tender from engorgement and breastfeeding. But, I did notice a big difference even after wearing this for one day. I started wearing it about 5 days post-partum (I got a size small, based on my pre-pregnancy size. I didn't fit into the wrap until day 5, and during that time I was wondering if I should have gotten a second wrap in a medium, but once I felt how uncomfortable the wrap was, I knew that I wouldn't have wanted to wear it so soon after giving birth, as I was already very uncomfortable and in some pain.). Anyway, up until I wore the wrap, I was having a really hard time with my posture - my abdominal muscles were so weak and stretched out, I felt like I couldn't sit or stand up straight. Once I had the wrap on, my posture improved tremendously, and at the end of the day, my abdominal muscles were strong enough to hold myself up on my own. I'm now two weeks post-partum; I do think the wrap has helped me get my shape and strength back. I wear it for about 8 hours a day - anything more is too uncomfortable - but I think it's worth it.

I never got to wear the Bandit immediately postpartum -- but I have tried it almost 4 years later! :) It is supportive, which is especially helpful when you have no muscle tone right after birth. And if you're going to use a wrap, I'd rather have a pretty one, like the couture or bamboo bandits. A lot of people have trouble getting the right size (I'm the owner of One Hot Mama, an Amazon retailer) so here are my suggestions:

In the seventh or eighth month many many women will be the same they will be post delivery (sorry for the bad news!). Simply measure the circumference of your waist starting at your belly button. Buy the corresponding size.

If you're around 40 weeks, simply subtract 3 to 5 inches from your waist measurement and select the band for that measurement.

If you measure between band sizes, we recommend that you purchase the smaller one. The Belly Bandit is designed with five inches of adjustability to stay tight as you shrink.

Good luck, and happy birthing!

This product is foremost very uncomfortable. It is stiff and as someone mentioned, the sizing is 'iffy'. If you're short or short waisted, the one 'width' band does NOT fit all- it either rode up into my breasts or else it bent at the bottom and rode up every time I sat or bent down.

The fabric is so stiff, that it really doesn't hold things in tightly- it hold me in at hte top and bottom but since the fabric doesn't 'give' I bulge out in the middle which is where we all really want to be held in.

The return policy is bacially NOTHING. Once you purchase it it cannot be returned, only exchanged- which does you no good if you don't like it.

And finally, I hated that the product came in a box with thier BIG LOGO and desciption on it. I'm not into my mailman and everyone else knowing what I"m ordering.

I would NOT order this again. I finally went to an ace bandage wrapped around me, and it worked BETTER and was WAY more comfortable. Save some $ , go to the drug store and buy a wide ace bandage for $5. YOu'll thank me.

Its about time!!! I knew about belly wrapping from my mother (it's a tradition in her country) and tried a bunch of different products with my first two children. Nothing worked anything near as good as the Belly Bandit. I was amazed at how quickly it started working. I could see and feel it within two days of wearing. I"m actually thinner now than before I started having kids believe it or not. I highly recommend it to any woman. This is the only thing I buy now for baby showers. Take it from a real user - well worth the money for the results.

I got the Couture instead of original, because that's the only style my local maternity store carries and I want to look at the size before buying. At $50, it seemed really pricey for a piece of fabric with Velcro on it. Turns out that this is the best money I've ever spent on body sculpting! I was quite thin, so I was definitely worried that I will never fit into my skinny jeans again. This band does what it says - I started wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes and jeans again when my baby was 8 weeks. My friends were amazed at how fast I got back in shape.

Also, wearing it shortly postpartum gave my abdomen and back the support it needed. My stomach was quite saggy after birth (sorry ladies, but it takes time for the skin and muscles to tighten up). Belly binding helped keep my innings in their right places and prevented any bowel movement discomfort. I felt I have my body back faster when my abdomen is well supported.

My only complaint is that this is a little too long, heightwise. I am 5'4" and naturally have a short torso, and the band goes from the chest right under my breast to the hip. It keeps my back really straight when I sit, which makes me feel awkward, so I only wear it when I sleep or going out - basically when I spend a good deal of time stretching out. However, if I were taller I can imagine wearing it all day, as the construction is sturdy and the fabric is really comfortable.

At $50, it is a treat for me. But consider how much other useless pregnancy and baby related stuff cost, this is well worth it.'

Shelf Great Omnimount Componet - shelf great omnimount componet, wall mount

I purchased this item because it was sleek looking and matched the tv bracket that would be hanging above it.

Unfortunately, it is not as pictured. If you look at the picture, it appears as if the shelf part (glass) goes just about to the wall. However, when I opened the box and assembled it, I was quite disappointed to find that there was about 8 inches of space between the shelf bracket and where the shelf mounts to it. This made the shelf stick out away from the wall far too much (for my tight area) and therefore, I couldn't use it.

I didn't return it as it is really heavy and didn't want to deal with it. Besides, I didn't want to pay to ship something that heavy so I just kept it.

I can't believe the picture is so different from the actual item! Just so you know, I had my contractor assemble it in a newly constructed room, so it's not just the opinion of a girl who doesn't know how to assemble a simple shelf.

If projection isn't a concern, then this is otherwise a very nice looking and heavy duty unit.

You have to consider, though, if you are mounting a flat panel tv (as I was), you really don't want a shelf sticking out from underneath it by 8 inches more than what you were expecting. Component Shelf

I surveyed the three glass shelves visible on Amazon, this one, the Vantage Point AXWG-01B, and the OmniMount ECSB. All are $30-40, all are rated for about 30 lbs, all are a bit over a foot square.

I picked this for the wider placement of the screws, which should lead to greater strength, the less obtrusive silver color, and the flexibility of the swiveling mount.

One drives four massive screws into the wall, hopefully into the stud, and assembly is trivial. Maybe 30 lbs is close to the limit if placed way out on the tip, but I'd be comfortable putting 100 lbs in the middle of the shelf.

Looks fine. I'm pleased.

We bought 4 of these to hang our speakers on. The speakers are several years old and are larger and heavier than the newer ones. The shelves are very heavy duty and were easy to hang up, easier with 2 people! They should definitely be attached to a stud as they are fairly heavy and I would not trust them with just wall anchors. They do the trick and look nice as well. Definitely recommend this product.

We were looking for a component shelf for our satellite and DVD player that would be child-proof for our 1 year old son. We mounted this up above and to the side of the wall mounted TV, it looks great and we don't have to worry about our son playing with the cords.

very attractive set, but not for the smaller sized rooms. these are bigger than they look in the picture. even reading the measurements, after getting them in the house, they are just huge. i have 3 that i honestly dont want , havnt used, and amazon wont refund me for ( will let them go at a discount). if you have a larger sized living room, these are gorgeous and would do more than justice to spice it up. just know what youre buying. - Home Theater Wall Mount - Home Theater Component Shelf - Shelf Great Omnimount Componet - Wall Mount'

Novelty Cake Pans - baking, birthday

Bottom Line Up Front: Worked as advertised.

My daughter flipped over seeing this on TV. I read the reviews, both on and off Amazon, and decided to give it a shot.

When it arrived, I received the three pieces in good condition. It was not in retail packaging but rather a plain white box. This may bother some, but I was fine with it. Inside the box were three silicone pieces as well as an instruction sheet and an idea/recipe book.

I sprayed the cooking surfaces with nonstick spray. Using a Duncan Hines butter cake mix, I split the batter almost evenly into the top and the bottom. In retrospect, I put too much in the bottom, not realizing how much each of the parts would rise during baking. BTW, the instruction sheet recommends splitting the batter in half. Mixed and baked at 375 degrees as directed by the cake mix instructions and set the timer to 35 minutes. I chose 35 minutes because the instructions advise this time; additionally, the instructions also advise that the top piece will cook faster than the bottom piece.

35 minutes later, I tested the top by inserting a wooden skewer. I found that the top piece was not cooked all the way through, so I lowered the temperature (once again, as directed by the instruction sheet) to 325 and let it cook for another 10 minutes.

After another 10 minutes, I found the top was finished. Removing the filling insert from the top of the bottom mold, I found that the bottom portion had cooked just fine. The result was a ginormous two piece cupcake.

I have no affiliation with whoever makes this product. I don't even like to bake. You'll notice that in my review, I refer to the direction sheet quite a bit. I do that to make a point: while your mileage may vary, the guidance provided with this product is adequate to bake an huge gut-bomb cupcake, which is the whole reason I bought it in the first place. Allstar Marketing BT011106 Big top Cupcake

I was a little nervous to try this due to the unfavorable reviews on this. However, I made a cupcake for the first time today and it turned out great! It seems small but its an entire cake mix, so I suppose you need to just slice it thinner.

I used a boxed devil's food cake mix for my first try. I sprayed the pans LIBERALLY with Pam, not just the bottom like they advise. I put my oven on 330 degrees, not 350. It took about 40-45 minutes to bake, honestly I don't know the exact time because I checked it often. The directions ARE right though, the bottom takes approximately 10 minutes longer than the top.

Both the top and the bottom came out near-perfect. The bottom burned a tiny bit but not badly at all. They came out of the molds easily too.

It takes about a can of frosting to cover the entire thing.

I have used this item 3 times and each time the cupcake pieces came out easily with plenty of spray used. I also tried it with the insert as well. It is important to cool the pieces completely before frosting. I also used a type of frosting cement to help "glue" the pieces together. It was a big hit at the office and for a little girl's party. It can serve plenty of people. Dishwasher safe.

My kids saw the ads for this on Nickelodeon and begged for it. I gave in for my daughter's 6th birthday. Our results were good, and when decorated the cake was great. We love it! A couple notes: the instructions provided with the set aren't great. They say that the bottom takes longer than the top to cook. I found the opposite to be true -- especially when using the insert. And if you do any cake mix doctoring the times can be very different from the instructions. I've baked it for as long as an hour (convection oven at 325 degrees, which matches 350 degrees in regular oven). None of my boxed cake mixes say to bake at 375, which might be why previous reviewer had burnt the outside before the inside was fully cooked. The insert has worked well each time we use it, you do have to make sure it's snapped in all the way around. I never cut cake off the top layer before assembling, works fine. MORAL OF THE STORY: this works, just set your timer for the time on the box indicated for BUNDT cake (because it's thick like a bundt), test with a pick, be prepared to bake longer if needed until it tests done. It's so much fun to decorate and you get a great reaction when you serve it. - Birthday - Baking - Cupcake - Novelty Cake Pans'

Fitness Gloves - lifting, fitness

Snug but e-z to get on and off. Good for regular workouts with enough padding. I use up to 10 lb weights and these work fine. I like Valero products. They seem to last longer than some other brands. Valeo Women Feets Crosstrainer Glove, Pink, Small

I like these gloves a lot and they are not expensive. I have tried lots of different types and these, for me, are very comfortable. I am on my 2nd pair and when those break down, I would buy another pair!

I loved the look of these gloves -- but they didn't hold up at all. Wore them maybe 5 times for lifting, and they came apart on the back of the glove where the colored part meets the black. Too bad, because they are really cute!

I bought these gloves, after reading the reviews, thinking it would be a great deal. I was SO wrong, I have worn them all of three times, they are already coming apart at the seams at the wrist and on the fingers. I was so disappointed because they are so cute and fit well. I would suggest if you are a serious lifter, look for a better quality glove.

I like these because of the color most of all. My friend called them "Sassy"..lol.

Two things I don't like. The finger holes are a bit loose and a little too long for my tiny fingers.

I didn't order the small because I was afraid they would cut my circulation off (like most do).

I think I'm going to order a small. - Gloves - Lifting - Womens Althetic Gloves - Fitness'

Sonic Screwdriver

This is a very well made suit. I bought it for my son to wear as the ring bearer in a wedding. He was so excited about how much he looked like Daddy! Pants had some elastic and the only suggestion I have is that the waist would be hard to fit if your child is slim like mine (he will have to wear a belt). But otherwise, I am very pleased with the suit and it came in its own garment bag. Also, I thought the tie would be the one pictured, but it was not, just as an FYI. Tiec Tocc - tiec tocc, 80s

This is my all time favorite Michael Jackson song ("Pretty Young Thing"). Second to that would be "Off The Wall". "I'll be There" was the best J5 song ever. While people mostly remember the "Thriller" songs by MJJ, those of us born in 1958 grew up with The Jackson Five, and Michael Jackson as a solo artist. I hope that during this time of remembering MJJ, people will explore his ballads, like "Heal the World", "Man in the Mirror", and "You are not Alone";not dance music, but thoughtful compassionate songs that showed his vulnerability as a human being. Whatever weird stuff he might have done, he should be remembered for more than that. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) - Tiec Tocc - 80s'

Halloween Skeleton - gift idea, creepy

Higher quality construction than I expected and great paint job. I didn't pay attention to the size so it is a little smaller than I thought (around 3/4 human size), but still works well since I have a variety of different sized skeletons and tombstones. Lantern is very bright, but does not light the the face below the forehead so don't place him in a dark area where he can't show off his creepiness. Sinister Skull With Lantern Halloween Party Decoration

My "Sinister Skull" just arrived yesterday, and I was very happy with it. It's definitely built well. I think it's a good size. It's not big, but it fit perfectly in my garden. I agree with others about the light. It is bright, about as bright as my solar lights, if not a little brigher, but it doesn't light up the skull at all. So it's kinda pointless to leave the light on at night. I'm still pretty happy with it.

It's sturdy and will survive for a long time. It is smaller than I thought, the light bulb is tiny and doesn't illuminate the skull. But, I think the kids will put it in their room after Halloween and be pretty happy with it.

I agree with all previous reviews that this item is overall a great Halloween prop despite the issues that the lamp does not light up the skull or that it would be nice if the piece were larger. The details though are very impressive. I suggest when you display this in your outside graveyard, place a real votive candle in a small lantern to the left of the skull which should help shine additional light on the piece and draw attention to it as well. Glad I got this on clearance before they sold out. - Creepy - Holiday - Gift Idea - Decoration'

Rechargeable Batteries - low discharge nimh, amazonbasics

I just finished testing one set of those AmazonBasics AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries, using my old La Crosse BC-900 Charger/Analyzer. Here are my findings:

- Right out of the box, their average remaining charge is 1946mAh. The spread is very small, ranging from 1933 to 1959mAh. Note that the date code on those cells says 'MAR2011', so they probably left factory just two months ago. Still, those numbers are really impressive.

- After just one recharge/discharge cycle (done at 700/350mA), the average capacity improved to 2217mAh. That is about 11% higher than the rated capacity of '2000mAh'. Again the spread is small, varying from 2200 to 2250mAh. Those numbers remain unchanged in subsequent recharge/discharge cycles.

It is interesting to note that: performances of those AmazonBasics Pre-Charged AA cells are nearly identical to that of GP ReCyko AA cells, which I have tested last November. So I won't be surprised if those 'AmazonBasics' cells turn out to be rebranded GP ReCyko.

Just for comparison, the NEW Sanyo eneloop AA cells are also rated for 2000mAh typical, but the average capacity I measured is around 2130mAh, or 'only' 6% higher than rated. On the other hand, Sanyo claims the second-generation eneloop cells can be recharged up to 1500 cycles, whereas GP and AmazonBaisc NiMH batteries are rated for 'only' 1000 cycles. In real life, most people will probably never notice the difference.

In summary, all three brands I mentioned above (Sanyo, GP and AmazonBasics) are excellent products. They all live up to the claim of "pre-charged and ready to use right out of the pack", and offer even higher capacities than rated. So just go by which brand is on sale, and you can't go wrong.

[Aside]

Most battery makers are touting their products as 'Advanced', 'Platinum', 'Ultra', and so on. Why oh why does Amazon simply call those superior batteries 'AmazonBasics'? If this is 'Basic', I can't wait to test the 'AmazonPrime' batteries!

[Aside#2]

Those AmazonBasics Pre-charged NiMH batteries are in black, which (to me) makes them look like disposable alkaline cells. On the other hand, the AmazonBasics Alkaline Batteries are in white, which makes them look like rechargeable cells. I really wish the color scheme were the other way around. AmazonBasics AA NiMH Precharged Rechargeable Batteries (8-Pack, 2000 mAh)

With all the pre-charged batteries from different manufacturers out there now, there is no need for 1-time use alkaline batteries anymore.

Using my Lacrosee BC-700 battery charge/test function, the 4 "AA" batteries performed as follows:

Battery 1 = 2,200 mAh

Battery 2 = 2,140 mAh

Battery 3 = 2,170 mAh

Battery 4 = 2,190 mAh

(See picture I took on customers' submitted images)

Straight from the box, the batteries show remaining voltages of 1.31V (see pic above). All packs more juice compared to its rated capacity of 2000 mAh, which is comparable to the capacities of Eneloops and Duracell.

I have been using pre-charged batteries for everything now, from toys, digital cameras, clocks, to remote controls.

I have used/tested most AA NIMH rechargeable batteries made, from the big names as Sanyo, Rayovac, Duracell to Soshine, Ikea and other lesser known (and quality names). As mentioned by Nlee the name and look of the of the batteries has a bit to be desired, but behind the name and look is a quality product.

Right out of the box the 8 batteries measured between 1.29 to 1.33 and the initial mAh was 1930 to 1963 with the same production date as Nlee (March 2011) and almost a month later from Nlee's purchase.

I split the batteries between La Crosse Technology BC-9009 and the Maha Powerex Wizard One. Charge/test of the BC-9009 yielded an average of 2162 and on the MH-C9000 using the "break-in" setting they yielded an average of 2227.

They are reasonably priced, good charge right out of the box, and they are true to its ratings. What else can you ask for?

The batteries arrived as advertised completely pre-charged. They replaced Energizers (model NH15BP4) that couldn't hold a charge for more than a day (which is standard for Energizer rechargeables... just read the reviews).

However, these Amazon batteries caused our Canon SX110 digital camera to malfunction. The lens would not autofocus. I searched online and read digital cameras can be picky about batteries. We tried other batteries in the camera later that day and it worked perfectly. I checked the Amazon batteries on a La Crosse Technology BC-700, which I highly recommend, and they were fine. I'm chalking it up to the Canon is just picky. Aside from that one hiccup, these batteries are amazing when it comes to holding a charge.

I'm using them primarily in my Uniden scanner and they work great.

I'll try to update this review in the future.

Bought these to replace the batteries in some outside back patio solar lights. The stock batteries were aprox 600-800mha and would last from dark until about midnight and then fading was visible. With the new batteries in place, I can get up at 4 in the morning and everything is just as bright as when they first turned on at dusk. Exactly what I wanted. I am ordering 2 more sets of 8 very soon as I have now added more solar lights (rope lights this time) to the property.

The only downside to this is that I have found 1 of the 8 batteries is failing. I have switched which solar light it is in to make sure it is not a matter of placement or charging but one battery is weak. Wish I could return just the one, but the others still make this a great purchase and great value. I would give 5 stars otherwise, and still recommend this product anyway.

I use these for my camera (Canon PowerShot SX130IS), which is notorious about running out the batteries quite quickly. Right off the package, they are charged well, and going strong after many shots. Only problem is that the design of the batteries look like regular disposable batteries, so I'll have to warn my family member to not to throw away... - Low Discharge Nimh - Amazonbasics'

Dancing - belly dance hip scarf, dancing

we ordered two of the skirts to make the beginner's lessons more fun when you are in character. the price was relatively inexpensive, so we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and detailing of the outfits. they were beautifully colored, just like the ad, but the ad did not not do the detailing justice. overall, we were exceptionally satisfied, and will definitely order from this company again. the sizing is perfect too, where it will fit a good range of weights and builds and still look great. Hotpink Belly Dancing Skirt with Gold Coins; Authenic Dance Hip Scarf Wrap (Great Gift Idea)

I just recieved my skirt in the mail, I am learning Belly Dancing to help tone while losing weight. The skirt is very well made, and I love the sound it makes when I move. It's a generous size (I'm a size 26W) and I don't have much trouble tying it on. I think that this is a wonderful product and it ships super fast. I plan on ordering more in the near future.

The skirt came in record time and when I opend the package I was so surprised at the color. It's even pinker than the photos. I LOVE it. I have 42" hips and I still don't have a problem tying it on. My daughter's got 36 inch hips and STILL has no problems with the size. The coins really jingle and it looks beautiful on. The hot pink color is really gorgeous. I highly recommend this product... especially for the price... very modest. - Dancing - Hip Scarf - Belly Dancing - Belly Dance Hip Scarf'

Inflatable Boats - inflatable boat, boat

This boat is very durable but not heavy and a great buy for the price. We had it inflated in about 10 minutes (the pump works nicely), and deflated in about 2 minutes (it has quick-deflate valves).

We fit a man, a woman, a large bag, and a small cooler in this boat. It was a bit cramped but manageable (it seems like you could almost fit three small people in the boat, though that would make rowing very difficult).

I was a little worried about the paddle-blades as they seemed a bit flimsy, but they've worked great on our two trips and are sturdier than they look. This boat was a fantastic buy and a ton of fun. Intex Seahawk 2 Boat Set

This boat is working out great. I use for fishing ponds nearby. It seems very safe and I can manuver it around. I did order the high speed pump and that I like. Also, I ordered 3lb river anchor for this boat. When fishing a slight breeze will move you on the water. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

I love this little boat. I use it on the lake for fishing and it has been awesome, its lets me fish in spots the i normally couldnt from the shore. the oars seem flimsy but i have had no problem with them, i even use them to push me off/on shore. i have had this boat for about 4-5 months and used it probably around 20 times. i recently got a small hole and i mean tiny(more like a tear, probably from a fishing hook) in the side. the boat comes with a patch kit but i just put a small piece of duct tape over it and it still worked like a charm.

I have had two adults in this boat multiple times, with two people it is a little cramped but is still usuable for fishing(with two people its best to sit sideways with you feet/legs hanging off the side), for one person its a great size and i can basically lay back and fish. (do not forget to have PFD's for each person in the boat even if your in 3 ft of water or you will get a $130 ticket from the game warden like i did! >.<)

Like it says it will still float with just the inner chamber inflated, just makes it alot harder to get around (they day i found out there was a hole). The only negative about this boat its pumping it up, its takes about 7-10 mins, it says to never use an electic air pump (even amazon tries to sell you one?).deflation its very easy although the floor chamber takes a bit of effort to deflated cause you must pinch the hole to let air out. for the money this boat has made my fishing so much more fun!!

o and if you use it like i do, dont forget you'll need to buy a little anchor, i use an 8 lb mushroom anchor with just some regluar string to conserve space, i dont know what kind of string it is but it looks likes a big roll of shoe string, it was on the same aisle with the anchors at academy.

This boat is a great value and honestly is very well built. Its not something I would enjoy spending any lengthy about of time in, but its perfect for camping adventures when your just dying to get across a small to medium lake. The Rowing position is a little awkward and takes some getting used too, but two adults can reasonably fit and enjoy and outing on the water.

Im ten years old so my standards are very low. I got this boat for a birthday present and even with my low standards I was impressed. Every year we have a family reunion and it just so happens that we had it this year at a lake. I have five cousins that I had to share the boat with and even with all the wriggling the boat seemed very stable. the boat did get one tiny hole but we bought a patch kit and that was easily fixed. This is an outstanding boat. it holds 440 pounds. I wouldn't reccomend two adults in it though. One would probably work the best. All in all, you cant beat this boat. You wont be dissapointed.

This is a great boat. The person with the one that let out air must have been a dud. Mine is perfect! I can carry it the 100 yards to the lake. The 3 air chambers have not let me down! If you can, put a motor on it, but I am fine without one. I just took it out yesterday and got caught up in some brambles, but no cuts or scratches! I love it, trully do! If you want a cheap but sturdy boat to mess around in, then get this one. No kidding. Its roomy enough for a person and gear. Not to comfortable for 2 people, so get the bigger one if you want it for more than 1 person. I had a bookbag with the boat gear, 2 medium sized tackle boxes, a fishing pole, a lunch pack, and myself. Perfect for one person, get bigger one for two people.

Went down the river with it, my wife was very comfortable. It fits one adult comfortably, and the oars were a great help. The only negative comment is that the oar holders provide limited mobility, we just used the oars without having it in place. Definately recommend. - Inflatable Boats - Boat - Inflatable Boat'

Ink Bottles - fountain pen, fountain pen ink

I'm a recent addition to the small community of fountain pen users and I didn't want to spend lots of money on the spare cartridges that they sell at the stores, so I ordered this ink well. It's great because it's short enough that I can access all the ink in the bottle. The one downside is that it bleeds through the paper slightly more than the other ink I got. THis is only a problem if I apply too much ink to one spot on the paper. If just writing and not going over the same spot twice, there are no problems with this ink. If I knew anyone who had a fountain pen, I would recommend this ink to them. Sheaffer Ink 2 Ounces-Skrip/Black

I'm not very thrilled with this ink. The color is a nice deep black. But it is somewhat thick; it works fine with a medium point, but it skips with a fine point. It's also jammed up two different pens, requiring cleaning out a clot. So, for medium points, this looks very nice. For fine points, I suggest looking elsewhere.

On a certain level ink is ink - how much more can you say about it? There certainly are questions of durability, strength, permanence (also known as washability), and the tendency to bleed through a typical sheet of paper. On those counts Sheaffer Skrip is outstanding, especially in terms of durability and strength. What I particularly like about Sheaffer's Skrip over Parker's Quink is that Skrip is less likely to bleed through a sheet of paper to show on the other side. As far as washability/permanence goes, both brands can be got out by pre-treating with Simple Green or hairspray (or both). Loyalty reasons aside Skrip works fine in my Parker, Sheaffer, Eversharp, and Esterbrook fountain pens just fine and I've come to enjoy it over Quink. More importantly Skrip is available in a far wider variety of colors than Quink, including turquoise, purple, and brown, not to mention green, which has been discontinued by Parker.

Hi All,

My 12 year old son has just discovered fountain pens and thus this became something that was needed. I always thought that fountain pens came with little ink cartridges...but I was mistaken. It would seem the fountain pen has lost its charm. My son received a few as gifts from my mother who was visiting from India...they don't take refills. There began the search for INK...and of course, I ended up at Amazon. Ink is pricey and considering that you do not have to use a whole lot to fill a pen will last for ever.

This ink dries quickly and does not smudge...even on plain old copy paper and or notebook paper.

Excellent quality. I do have one GRIPE - AMAZON used a HUGE box for this little bottle..means a lot of extra carboard for no reason. The product still gets a 5/5...but I wanted to voice out my cardboard opinion.

The ink seems to be watery and doesn't flow right in the pen. Also, it say's it's 2 ounces, when in fact, it's only 1.62 ounces. Isn't that called false advertising? Also, can't find a well inside the bottle for filling a pen. A lot of over dipping going on with this bottle. And again, what's up with the 19% less ink. Don't they owe me money back? - Black Ink - Ink Bottle - Fountain Pen Ink - Fountain Pen'

Cleaning Supplies - glass cleaners

This is hands-down the very best glass cleaning product I have ever used. It is a very powerful cleaner so it cleans down to the glass the very first time. It is a foam, so there isn't any liquid running down the glass/mirror where you don't want it to go, and truly leaves a beautiful streak-free shine every time! I am so happy to have found this product again. I moved an empty can of it across country and have had it under my sink for 2 years just so I would not forget the name of it before I could find a supplier. I cannot wait for it to arrive! Yippee! Krylon/Consumer Div 072321215 Quality Care Multisurface and Glass Cleaner

This is a fantastic cleaning product and works great on glass, mirrors and even my granite countertops. I bought a case (12 cans) of this and use it every day and the price on Amazon could not be beat. It cleans and shines everything and leaves no residual or streaks behind. On a clean-and-shine scale of 1-10, I give it a perfect 10! - Glass Cleaners'
