Acne Treatment - salicylic acid, anti-wrinkle

My 17 year old daughter has used this for a couple of weeks now and the breakouts on her face have cleared up. She is also using the "Neutrogena Acne Stress Control, Power Foam Wash." She had tried many different products including some very expensive acne kits sold on TV and they did not work. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment 2oz

This product does everything it claims. It clears up acne gently and moisturizes your skin at the same time. It also moisturizes enough so you don't have to use another moisturizer afterwards.

I used to use Proactiv and I have really oily skin that dries out easily if I use too harsh of products. I find I have to have a delicate balance of acne clearing ingredients and moisturizers otherwise I have either really oily or really dry skin.

Before using this product along with the Power Foam Wash has made my skin clearer, smoother and softer then I ever saw it while using Proactiv or any of the other systems I have tried. I love the tingling sensation I get after using this and how light it is on my skin. I went from having a bunch of zits on my forehead to very small if any zits on my forehead. And if I do breakout, they are much smaller and go away much quicker then ever before.

I fully recommend the Foaming Power Wash and the 3 in 1 hydrating acne treatment. Not only are the products priced fairly, I have had both for two months and haven't used half the bottles yet. I also don't worry about acne anymore or what my face will look like daily. I have to use less makeup to cover up acne and both of these products fully deserve the 5 star ratings I gave them in my reviews.

My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination.

When I first tried this product, I have to admit that I was skeptical because everything else on the market seems to operate under the assumption that it has to be harsh to work. Thankfully Neutrogena made an effective acne product that doesn't leave me red and flaky, even after a few months of use.

Morning: Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash and this product. (Also, I use Neutrogena skin soothers stick concealer and L'oreal Bare Minerales foundation for my make-up.)

Night: Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub every other day (the Neutrogena scrub that's supposed to go with this system made me break out), Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash, this product, and then Neutrogena On-The-Spot treatment all over my entire face.

Everyone is different, so this might not work for you, but I hope you find something that does. Good luck!

I'm 24 and have been dealing with mild acne since my teens. I saw an ad for this product in a magazine and decided to give it a shot. My family and friends have always recommended me many products, so believe me, I've been around the block and tried many things, even seen a dermatologist. My main goal was to reduce the redness (staining) on my face and get rid of the blackheads around my nose, I also get breakouts around my chin area frequently. Within two weeks of using this I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. It's smooth, and is evenly toned. It's reduced nearly all the redness I've been looking at for YEARS. The blackheads on my nose are nearly all gone, and for the first week I had to deal with a few breakouts because I could see this product was cleaning deep down in my pores and bringing all that "gunk" up to the surface. My face looks great! This product has a mild cucumber scent which I love and HAS NOT dried my face out in the least. I'm 110% happy and completely blown away to find something that has worked for less than $10, after the hundreds I've spent on other products! Thank you!!!

I have been using this product (along with the foaming wash and scrub in the Acne Stress line) for about two months now. I apply a generous amount of the treatment in the evening and in the morning. My face looks and feels amazing. The treatment goes on smoothly and absorbs into the skin within 2-3 minutes. It does hydrate my skin and my breakouts are reduced in frequency, severity, and duration. As a bonus, this preps my skin beautifully for application of concealer, moderate powder, and blush every morning. Not only does my skin itself look better, it's a much better substrate for the minimal makeup I need these days!

I love this acne gel, it is my very favorite! I can't buy it anymore except on the internet. I buy like 3 or 4 at a time. I fear this product is being phased out or something. If you are middle-aged like me and have acne-prone skin, this is the bomb. It works and does not irritate. It is the best acne gel I could find and I have tried them all.

I bought this like 2 months ago at Walmart, and it's amazing! It doesn't dry out your skin like most salicylic acid products, meaning you can apply it over large-ish areas, instead of just a spot treatment. I really love how it reduces redness, and it does everything extremely fast. It also dries clear (as long as you don't glop it on)so you can apply it in the morning, and by the afternoon, a flare-up can be substantially reduced. I've heard good things about Neutrogena's stress control line, but so far this is the only thing I've tried; but it definitely makes me curious about the other products.

This really is a great product. I'm 36 have always had acne--not horrible, but I pretty much always have a few. As I've gotten older I esp. have problems with blackheads on my chin. Could NOT get rid of them, and everything I tried was too dry on my skin. This product helps the blackheads and does not leave my skin nasty and flaky.

Also, I have a lot of scars on my chin (not acne ones, regular ones from an accident), and this product doesn't dry them out either which, if you have any scars, you will know is a plus.

BUT...I don't care for the scent much--it smells fake and sicky-sweet. If they made this in an unscented or fresher scent, I'd give it 5 stars! - Salicylic Acid - Anti-wrinkle - Acne Treatment - Blemish Control'

We bought these for party favors for our child's birthday party. We took two out before the party so we could check them out and after a few minutes they start to smell really bad. No doubt some toxic Chinese plastic. We threw them in the garbage. My only goal here is to save someone $30 who might otherwise be sold (as I was) on the Duke name. The team that created the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever game did NOT work on this title. I thought it was strange that I didn't hear much about this DS title. After playing it I understand why they're trying to slip it under the radar.

Cons:

-The graphics are outdated. Even for DS (compared to PSP), they are disappointing for 2011.

-On level after level you will be shot by enemies off of the screen. The developers tried to resolve this by allowing you to use right bumper to see 'ahead', but who wants to hold a button down throughtout a level plus have the view be negatively skewed??

-The controls are some of the worst and convoluted that I've seen for a handheld game. For sniping, imagine 4-6 enemies shooting at you while you're using a touch-screen stylus to navigate two separate controls: one to zoom in & out and another to look left and right. Then, another button allows you to hold your breath. Then, yet another button takes the shot. All while you're trying to hold onto your DS! On top of that hand-numbing contortion, the framerate is so poor that it's hard to line up an actual shot.

I could continue to list the negatives but instead will just say that it commits the worst crime a game can commit: it isn't any fun. Duke deserves better. Duke Nukem: Critical Mass

PEPOLE STOP SAYING DUKE NUKEM FOREVER IS BAD! This game is the real garbage. Just go with the real duke in FOREVER or waste money on this trash. There is a good reason why gamers are to mature or next-gen players hate Duke Nukem Forever and it's because of this. The quote on this game, FAIL TO THE KING BABY! The Step - step platforms, exercise

I REALLY like the fact that the black blocks were available, instead of the widely used pastel colored blocks. I weighed 290lbs when I began using them and they supported me daily as I lost 30lbs. I'm still using them with the step, without any signs of wear. The Step Additional Risers for The Original Health Club Step (Violet, 2 Blocks)

I had seen a stepper on fit tv that offered 3 blocks of height plus the height of the stepper so I went online and found them. They worked and looked exactly like the violet blocks that came with my original club step.

I really wish that the picture for the blocks had not INCLUDED a picture of the step in it....that seems a bit misleading and actually was. I went back and bought the step which is what I was looking for. Somehow, this 2 blocks is what came up when I searched for your the step. Very odd. There were other The Original Health Club Step, 2 Blocks, that did not have a picture of the Health Club Step. Hence, I knew that these were not what I was looking for. Please be more descriptive if you choose to take a picture of WHAT you will NOT be sending, as that is inappropriate. (Perhaps you have since changed this as the picture to the right of my screen is NOT the one that I saw when I originally purchased this item.)

Thank you for the information - I almost made the same mistake. I saw other Steps that were $80+, and then saw this one advertised here for much less so I almost jumped right on it. Your review was really helpful and prevented me from doing the same thing you did ! I totally agree, they should never post a photo for a complete step if all they are selling are the blocks. They are going to have a LOT of unhappy customers. - Step Platforms - Step Platform - Fitness - Exercise'

Anime Collection - trigun, anime

I bought this anime on a whim, knowing next to nothing about the plot and the characters. My reasons? It looked interesting and what I read about it made it sound like a good choice. I wasn't disappointed. Trigun is a very comical anime (don't let the cover fool you) which centers around Vash the Stampeded (aka the Humanoid Typhoon) with a $$60 billion dollar price on his head. Without getting into too many details, Vash has this bounty because every town he walks into inevitably gets destroyed. He is by no means a mean-spirited man, quite the opposite in fact, always outwitting his enemies either through skill or sheer luck (more-so the latter). His comedic actions and slap-stick answers to every situation hides a mysterious past however. The animation, while simple at times, is done very well, with good use of colors to offset the important characters from the everyday townsfolk (i.e. Vash wears a red overcoat). The music also has a decidedly western "twang" to it, with guitars setting the mood for many of the episodes. Overall one of the better anime series that I've seen recently. If you're in the mood to sit back and laugh and then be amazed, I highly recommend Trigun (I also recommend it if you're like me, who is a glutton for those "simple plot"-turned-serious-myterious-past animes ^_^). Whatever you favor, get this anime, it's well worth it. Trigun

Vash the Stampede (aka The Human Typhoon) has got to be one of my favorite anime characters of all time. I picked this up from my local rental store expecting some typical anime ultra-violence.I was pleasantly surprised that it was exactly the opposite. Trigun is hilarious. Vash is the typical lovable, bumbling hero that turns out to be a villain. (That made absolutely no sense here, but you have to see the DVD to understand!) There are plenty of shoot-em-up scenes to appease all you anime violence buffs, but this is easily one of the few animes you wouldn't mind showing your younger siblings. This anime is very well drawn and one of the few imports I actually think sounds better in English than in its original Japanese.I love everything about this title, and the additional artwork you get in the DVD's extra's section is pretty cool, but more pics would have been nice.I can't wait for the next installment of Vash! I highly recommend this one.

Trigun is an incredible anime piece. I've watched the entire series, and I can basically give you the jest of what this series is about. Don't worry, I don't plan on giving anyone any spoilers. =)Trigun revolves around the guy you see on the DVD box. Duh! =P But anyway, unlike what you see on the box, Vash (him), is a very complex character who will surprise you as the anime unfolds in later episodes. In this first DVD, you'll be introduced to Vash as the baffoon! You wonder how such an incompetant person could be worth such a high bounty. Of course, it doesn't mean he's not likeable. You may question his worth, but you'll still definitely like him. Basically, he's clumsy in a "likeable" sort of way. This anime is done with some serious style! While the animation is not fluid like Ghost in the Shell, it definitely wouldn't disappoint. The music score follows right along with the overall western theme, the story is deep and entertaining, and it'll definitely make you want more. The other main characters will grow on you like a fungus too. My overall review? Go for it! This is an anime series worth investing in. And don't worry about Vash who acts like a baffoon. As the episodes progress, you'll see that he has a deeper intelligence, wisdom, and a sense of honor which will earn your respect, make you want to be just like him. =)

You're probably wondering just how much of an action this is, or just how funny it really is. Well, let me just start off by saying, don't let the McFarlane Toys action figure fool you. When I saw that toy, I thought Trigun would be a really brutal guns & bullets anime with a hip sci fi theme. In actuallity, after investigating the anime and then buying & watching it myself, it turned out Trigun is a western. Now, in this western we have a fair amount of action, with some very cool weapons. It's not terribly bloody, just violent at times. Also, there is a good deal of comedy thrown in, in the same way "Lethal Weapon" does. The difference between Vash the Stampede and Mel Gibson is that Vash is a lot goofier. I enjoyed this anime very much and look forward to seeing the other volumes. The animation is very nice, the characters are personable, and it is a lot of fun. It wasn't as humorous as I expected, but I wasn't disappointed, either. It's not "Dragon Half" or "Wicked City"....there is comedy and there is violence, but it doesn't lean one way or the other. Keep that in mind, as people seem to be fooled by the cover. Anyway, it is an enjoyable anime and I recommend it. The DVD edition is great, too. It has perfect dubbed and subtitled versions (the subtitled version is the best, of course), as well as some nice bonus features, including character sketches. Be sure to check Trigun out!

Ah... what can I say about this anime? The animation quality is good, the dubbing... (yadda yadda yadda). THAT'S NOT THE POINT! Trigun has loveable characters, good plot, plenty o' action, and hilarious antics. Meet Vash the Stampede, or the Humanoid Typhoon. He's a wanted criminal with a $$60 billion price on his head (yes $$, not $). He's famous for leveling any town he enters (but not a single death has resulted from his destructive tendencies). As you might imagine, this bad habit of his is an insurance company's worst nightmare, so one company sends out two of their employees, Meryl Strife (or Streep in the Japanese version)and Millie Thompson, to find Vash. Their mission: keep Vash under 24 hour surveilence so he doesn't blow anything else up. Their plan: give him donuts and be real nice about it. The problem is no one knows what he looks like and no one has seen him in action. The real Vash is right under their noses, but can that hapless dork who "scarfs donuts like a hog in heat", peeks in on pretty girls in the shower, and can drink a town drunk under the table really be the merciless gunman? He's the only one that fits the description... - Anime Figure - Anime - Vash - Trigun'

Heavy Duty - exercise bands, p90x

I just got my Bodylastics strong man band system and I am just blown away. I literally will never need to buy any other resistance bands unless I suddenly turn into The Hulk or something because these things are HEAVY DUTY, I swear it seems like you could tow a truck with the orange ones and it comes with two of those! I have not attempted to curl all the bands because to be honest with you I cannot even curl both orange ones which REALLY surprised me because I am by no means weak, I can easily curl 65 lb dumbbells for 10 reps. I am so happy I ordered these bands because they are just the highest quality I have ever even seen. The speed of adding or decreasing resistance is really going to come in handy when I do my P90X workouts too which is really awesome. Even the door anchor that it comes with is massive and there is no way that thing could slip through the door, the regular anchors I have seen I have always been to scared to use because they seem like if you pull to hard they will pop right on through the door and savagely bull whip your skin. It comes with an extra pair of handles too so you can have another resistance ready or share your bands with someone. Also two pair of the leg attachment. I know this review is getting long but I just wanted to be as clear as possible when I tell any and everyone out there who may be considering buying these bands that you should do it because you will not regret it at all. If your looking for some seriously hardcore bands that are going to build really explosive power then you have found them. As Forrest Gump said, Thats all I have to say about that. Bodylastics 19-Piece Strong Man Quick-Clip Resistance Band System

I was a complete skeptic when I came across Bodylastics. I cannot stress enough how much I HATE going to the gym. I loved lifting weights when I was younger, but was always disgusted by how many people go to the gym to talk. I go to the gym to take names, or at least I went... Starting a few months ago, I purchased a set of kettlebells and dropped my gym membership. Not only did this cut $45 a month in fees I didn't get much use out of, but it also freed up some cash to invest in equipment I use anywhere and everywhere. Kettlebells. Medicine balls. And now I have Bodylastics to add to my routines, and after using them a few times, I'm adding them proudly. These things are built like a Russian beet-farmer. Another point is that you should ask a doctor if you have a latex allergy before ordering these. The reaction is nasty: trust me.

First of all, Bodylastics is not a gym in a bag. Gyms are a waste of time if your real interest is athleticism, period. Bodyweight exercises (calisthenics) are the best way to build athleticism safely without much risk of injury. Bodylastics are a great way to either add or subtract resistance to bodyweight exercises. The isolated movements that you're capable of doing with these that are associated with traditional bodybuilding are just icing on the cake. There are a million different ways a creative person can use these, and with essentially limitless amounts of tension... go nuts. As for explosive strength training, I'm going to stick to kettlebells, medicine balls, and boxing. For athleticism and stability: Bodylastics, calisthenics, sprints, and stability balls. Get it clear: Bodylastics is not a total solution. They are an extremely good tool to have in your kit. The value is phenomenal: they are built better and cost less than half the price of other... latex tubes from companies like TheraBand that don't even offer the possibility of modular resistance! It would be an insult to call Bodylastics that: Bodylastics is a product that is as competent as the brain using it. Look around your gym. People are stupid. This package gives you most of the potential of a gym membership, only your results are your own responsibility. No talk. No blame. Resistance tubes are based on real science that will get you outside instead of locked in a sweaty meat locker with idiots that have an inability to bathe properly and stand WAY too close with the blank stare of their oblivious soul.

Now for the bad news: latex is a natural biodegradable product that is harvested from rubber tree sap. Like any other natural product, latex is biodegradable. As an EMT, we are trained to understand that latex starts breaking down as soon as it comes in contact with the skin's oils. A latex glove is an ineffective barrier after about 10 minutes, +/- how much you sweat. Add in sunlight and repetitive stress and you can see where I'm going with this. These tubes WILL eventually break, the smaller ones are most vulnerable. While it is tempting, try to avoid handling the tubes BY the tube itself and try to avoid getting sweat on them. Also try to avoid long periods of direct sunlight. UV, natural oils, and moisture are the things that accelerate the breakdown of natural materials: especially latex. If you're moving nearly 270lbs of resistance and a small band snaps, it isn't a big deal. If the two big bands snap, it's a big deal. Take care of your equipment and your equipment will take care of you. The good news is that Bodylastics offers free replacement within 90 days of any broken tube and a lifetime replacement for $5.95. If you ask me, that warranty is far beyond what I would be happy with.

Things everyone should have: good shoes for interval sprints, a bag of chalk, a 35lb kettlebell, a jump rope, a couple of medicine balls, and Bodylastics. $250 minus shoes. Gym membership: $200 sign-up fee, $30-$50 a month in membership fees, waiting for machines, oblivious wanger-hangers in the locker room, disgusting equipment, herpes and other STDs on the shower knobs, and fluorescent lighting on beautiful days. Minus shoes. Do the math and take the $300 you're going to save and hire a licensed personal trainer to design a program and show you how this stuff works. You'll end up $150 ahead on first-year cost alone. - Exercise Band - Exercise Bands - Exercise - P90x'

Navigation Drving Directions - navigation drving directions, maps

I purchased this program with GPS recently to use with my laptop as a navigator on road trips. I have used it on a couple short trips so far, and it works great. Getting ready to use it on a long, 7,000+ mile road trip. Easy to use, easy to change course for side trips. I like the display of all restaurants and motels at any given spot. Great price - approximately $50. I saw this same product at Office Depot for $75. I like it better than a Garmin GPS I purchased a couple years ago for $500. Microsoft Streets And Trips With GPS

Only a couple of complaints. First, the documentation and help for this are horribly inadequate, causing a serious learning curve in order to figure out all the features. Be prepared for a lot of trial and error before you can quickly and easily navigate with this thing. You're on your own.

Second, the audio is VERY low. I have my laptop volume as far up as it can possibly go, and I still cannot understand the navigation voice over highway noise. And I drive a brand new car that is quite quiet. They definitely need to put a volume control on the program itself. I mean seriously, this is made to use in a car! What was MS thinking?

Third, the database of sites that can be displayed on the map is terribly inadequate. If you set it to display schools, you won't see many schools. I realise that new schools are being built all the time, but even old schools are commonly not shown. Same with many other sites. It would also be nice if fire and police stations were in the database to be shown as an option.

Now the good stuff. The program was incredibly easy to install, set up, and get started using. No problems at all quickly getting on the road with it, albeit very basically.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about with the GPS hardware. It has worked just fine for me. During the several interstate trips I have taken since buying this, I have only a couple of times lost GPS contact. But I had the GPS module attached directly to the laptop. The problem was very quickly remedied by putting the GPS module on the dashboard, using the extension cable.

I am amazed at how many streets that I would never expect to see appear on this product. Even the streets on some military bases and many private roads. It is also very good about showing all names for a road when multiple names are used locally. There are obviously some inaccuracies found in all maps, and this one is no exception. Some long closed streets still show up, and some newer ones still do not. But overall, the accuracy is extremely impressive. I have used Delorme, and this program is definitely more accurate and easier to use.

When using MS Streets with the GPS Doggle it allows 2D Map view rather than the 3D tunnel view that the Garmin/TomTom family of windshield GPS units offer. Have already found streets (that have been built for years) missing and 1 incorrect in a small area. There mapping company needs help. A co-worker with a TomTom that is a year older has the (missing) streets. Good program, but the data needs more updates sooner.

I've used Streets & Trips for several years now and have been pretty satisfied with the software itself. I decided to update to 2009 and get the GPS receiver with it this time. Being familiar with how a GOOD GPS works (I have both a Garmin auto and hand-held) I should have known better than to spend the extra money to get the Pharos receiver in the package. A wire coathanger could pick up satellites as good as this thing does.

not what i would expect from Microsoft, used the gps in town, location was 4 blocks further than gps said ,it uses old hwy numbers, typed in address in Louisiana that I pick up trailers, pulls up Port Allen,La. There is no hwy 165 there.Uses shortest route, even if practical is faster,no way to change settings to avoid, unless I just can;t find in menu..overall,not finding good adresses and/or coming up blocks short, makes having this product rather useless...it is easy to use though...have an issue with the install....states registry settings were not installed correctly...had to go to program files..open software there, create shortcut...then open as administrator...can't use by just simply clicking on like normal, over all,not worth the headache of just trying to figure out how to even open to use..then to find out,I'm reading hwy numbers that were retired years ago. Also, cannot get software updates, have to purshase the next release, over all, very dissapointed in this softwares outdated info and not finding known addresses...but it will get you close, you can ask for better directions when you get the city limits...lol - Navigation Drving Directions - Maps - Gps - Navigation'
