Cell Phone Charger - car adapter, car charger

We needed an adapter for our portable DVD (kids broke the cord). None of the "universal" adapters fit our ports, so we began to look at this kind. Many are very low output and do not provide enough continuous output to run a device, only charge it. Very happy with this product. Great continuous output for our needs. Gets a little warm after 4 hours of use (but so does every other device, including the player). Have not tried using the USB port at the same time yet. Takes a little getting used to the bulk of it when plugging in, but green indicator light lets you know when you've got good contact.

Would recommend in a heartbeat! DBTech® 175 Watt Portable Micro Power Inverter With USB Port --- 12v AC to 110v DC Car Plug Converter For Your iPod, iPad, iPhone, Droid, DVD Players, Laptops, Netbooks, And cellphones

Be cautious to consider buying this product. The device is loud, in that it has a fan inside and this fan runs all the time.

The product gets hot within a few minutes and remains hot while in use.

So hot in fact that one may worry that it is overheating. In addition, the net battery recharge gain to a regular Dell laptop in terms of recharging a battery while driving is nominal.

One thirty minute drive/charge yielded less than thirty minutes of renewed battery.

Obivously, in an emergency or to convert a cars dc to ac for use while driving; this device works.

It is not a very successful converter. Sorry to have to be unsupportive, but hopefully the manufacturer will upgrade the product.

Replaces a much more cumbersome unit. At some point I may wish it had more power, but it will charge my computer or portable speakers while on travelling and camping, which was the main purpose for this purchase.

Bought this 3-21-11 and have used it once briefly to verify it works.

The first time I plugged the inverter into the cigarette lighter I already had my laptop charger plugged into the inverter and the other end of the charger plugged into the laptop before doing this. That blew the 20 amp fuse in my cigarette lighter. So after putting in another fuse I decided to plug just the inverter in first, then the laptop charger, then the laptop. That worked fine and I tried that several times and it worked fine each time (Dell D600 laptop and charger and laptop which probably draws no more than 90Watts on average)

Possible order matters as the laptop charger appears to have a big capacitor in it and possibly trying to charge that up and power the laptop plugged into the charger draws to much current all at once initially.

Also verified the inverter would drive a 60watt light bulb as well.

Will report back after our vacations this year as to how well it has worked over time.

Greg

Great product, works great to charge anything and everything on long car trips. The only knock I have against it is the connection between the devise and the car isn't snug enough so I had to rig up a holding wire so it won't fall out.

This is the smallest 175 watt inverter that I have been able to find. I use it on planes when I need to plug in my laptop or charge items with USB (which is everything theses days). I also keep one in my car for emergencies. Works great.

when i bought this product with the price that it had on it, I didn't think it was going to be worth my money. When i got it I put it right to the test with a cross country trip. I was in the car for over 100hr in a few weeks. I always had my laptop (MacBook Pro 13") Plugged in charging. After a little bit you could start to hear the fan that was in it. But if you have music on even at a low level you cant even hear it. Best product i have ever used for charging my laptop in the car.

I just got mine today from Amazon.com. Upon opening the sealed package, I noticed a rattle inside the inverter.

Turns out that there was a loose screw in the inside. Other than that, the 175w easily powers my Dremel_100 (145watt) for emergency lock cutting and on the road emergencies. Connected fine to my portable booster battery's

cigarette lighter. A portable dremel comes in handy for that once in a year situation.

The plastic looks really cheap. I won't rely on this quality for daily use. Given the cheap plastic, I just hope this thing is fire safe. Nevertheless, the price is right. - Car Adapter - Ac-dc Converter - Power Inverter - Car Charger'

Power Plug Adapter - travel converter, converter

I bought this converter to take with me to Italy while studying abroad. I used it while I was in Rome and it worked well. After doing a bit of research I leaned that converters shouldn't be left plugged in, especially while charging certain items, so I never left it plugged in for more than an hour or two at a time. It heats up quite a bit, so I would suggest not leaving it plugged in to long, especially when it's really hot. I used this converter to charge my laptop, cell phone, and camera battery. I didn't have any issues with it, so overall I'd say it worked great. The watts were good since I wasn't using it for a blow dryer, straightener, or curling iron. I was too nervous to attempt to bring those items along with me to use with foreign currency. The only reason I rated this product a little low is because it weighed a lot and every ounce matters when you have a 50lb weight limit for luggage. VCT VM-200 - 220V Travel Converter 200 Watts Deluxe Step Down Voltage Converter Adapter for Laptops and Light Portable Electronics.

I used this device on a recent trip to Europe. I tried it with my laptop (which doesn't need the conversion since it's power adapter can handle 120V and 220V) and charged my camera with it. It worked great. The only issue was that it does get a bit hot.

This did the job for on our trip to France but it is SOOOOO heavy and not at all compact.

The cord is long enough to make it easy to plug into an outlet and not be tied to the wall.

We used it for our Medela Symphony Breast pump which is a very expensive rental. - Voltage Converter - Converter - Travel Converter - Europe'

this was hard to find I had to call Makita to get the part number because my tool came without it. amazon came through on the order and was very quick. The clip makes the tool very versitile and much easier to use. It never ends up on my belt though. its usually on the side of my toolbox or the oil drain cart. Cpu And Heat Sink Cleaning - cleaner, cleaning

These cleaning solutions are legit. They work almost perfectly for cleaning off old and dried thermal grease or thermal wax, and the company's website has a set of useful instructions for how to use it: [...]

Basically, the solution labeled '1' is the one you use first to clean off the grease and dissolve it. You keep it there for maybe 30 to 60 seconds, and then wipe it off or put something over it to soak up the dissolved grease. I used paper towels for this. After it's all cleaned off, you apply '2', which is a purifier that removes all the tiny particles of leftover stuff, and basically makes it very shiny, smooth, and ready for thermal grease application. The purifier you can wipe immediately, using lint free cloth. I also used paper towels, since I didn't have coffee filters or eyeglasses cloth at hand, but it works fine as long as the towels aren't dusty.

Overall, the cleaning fluids worked great, and I used the Arctic Silver 5 grease for my laptop after cleaning it with these. You could probably go by without buying these, but it gives a lot of peace of mind to know that you're using something specially formulated just for thermal grease and wax cleaning, instead of potentially different mixes of isopropyl alcohol. Might be good to air out the room you're working in, since it does have a bit of an odd lemon-y smell. ArctiClean 60ml Kit (includes 30ml ArctiClean 1 and 30ml ArctiClean 2)

These cleaners made it easy to clean off my old thermal compound. It really gives me peace of mind that I am not hurting the processor with some other household cleaner. It made my life a lot easier and these cleaners are just a step in prolonging the life of my computer.

This two-part cleaning solution worked great. I had excess thermal gunk on my CPU from the stock fan and thermal transfer paste, but the first solution dissolved it. The second solution had a visible brightening effect on the copper.

This thing is great,

I used it to remove a small cooler master cpu hsf and replaced it with a hyper 212 plus

instructions were very easy to follow and it only took me like 5 minutes mind you i have only build two systems from so im still new to all this.

This product does exactly what its supposed to. i highly recommend it!

I normally don't review products that I purchase off Amazon because I'm either :

1. Too lazy OR

2. The product works but isn't anything outstanding.

With that being said, this product does wonders for removing thermal paste off old CPU's and GPU's. I tried using alcohol before and it was taking FOREVER. I purchased this ArctiClean substance and it took me less than a minute to get the processors to a mirror shine.

I would without a doubt recommend this stuff if you are having any sort of trouble removing thermal paste off your processor. - Arctic Silver - Thermal Compound - Cleaner - Cleaning'

Toshiba Satellite Ac Adapter - toshiba satellite ac adapter, laptop adapter charger

An excellent replacement for the standard issued laptop cord. I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 and at first I was hesitant to buy from anyone but Toshiba. But I took a chance and it paid off; I ended up saving quite a bit of money for the risk. The cord is a little shorter than the standard but what's cool is that the cord part that goes into the computer swivels! Not so much strain on that part. But yeah it fits and works. If you are in need of one but cant shell out the money for the Toshiba store, buy this. Laptop/Notebook AC Adapter/Power Supply Charger+Cord for Toshiba Satellite A100 A110 A135 A135-S4527 A135-S4656 A135-S4666 A135-S7404 A200 A205 A215 A85 L25 L25-S119 L25-S1192 L25-S1193 L35 M115-S1061 M35X P205 a135-s2246 a135-s2276 a135-s7403

I tried to find a replacement at the big box stores and couldn't find anything less than $50 and all were in a universal configuration. It works and it arrived quick. Even though the back of my Toshiba Satellite A205 showed 19V @ 3.95A, the 19V 3.42A adapter works fine and I have had no problems.

I bought this as a replacement for the power supply that came with my Toshiba Satellite, and I wish this had come with the laptop instead of the original. Designing this with an elbow right where it attaches to the laptop is perfect. The first one stopped working because the wire got loose from getting jammed and bent all the time since it stuck straight out from the computer. This cord provides more protection for itself, and it never gets in the way.

No issues with it working so far. So glad I bought this! Actually, I'd recommend considering buying one of these even if your current Toshiba power supply works fine. It's just better.

I received the adapter, hooked it up to my computer and plugged it in to charge,

after 30 minutes or so it started smoking and smelled like it was burning, I immediately unplugged it. The top of the adapter box had a melted spot and i burned my hand on it while unplugging it, fortunately it did not damage my computer or the wood surface it was on. Thankfully I was in the same room or it would have started a major fire in my home. I sent an email to the supplier they never responded. The least they could have done was offer to replace it!

There's not much to say other then it works. It charges my computer as fast or maybe faster than my original charger. I actually prefer this charger over my stock charger that came with my computer because the male end of the cord immediately goes to a 90 degree angle so my cord isn't sticking straight out of the side of my laptop thus it feel more durable. And my not break like my previous stock laptop charger.

After the original power supply failed, I found this one for a very good price and with good reviews.

Pros: Price, the "L" shaped plug is a big advantage.

Con: The indicator light is BRIGHT green. Bright, as in if facing up, it will light up the end of a room. Also, the cord is about a foot shorter than the factory cord.

Will have to see about the durability, but so far after a couple of weeks of daily use, it is working just fine. - Toshiba Satellite Ac Adapter - Laptop Adapter Charger - Laptop Charger - Toshiba Ac Adapter'

Voice Recorder - recorder, digital voice recorder

A year ago, I wrote a lengthy comparison of the Edirol R-09 WAVE/MP3 Recorder, Black and the Zoom H4 Handy Recorder + 2GB Accessory Kit (pre-accessory kit). I wanted a high quality, easy to use recorder, so even though the H4 had all of the features of the Edirol and sold for considerably less, I kept the Edirol because it was so much easier to use.

Zoom has responded with the H2, a scaled down version of the H4 with all of the features of the R-09 and all of the controls right where you need them. The H2 even has additional features over the R-09, but they don't get in the way. For example, there's a choice of a 90 degree recording pattern, a 120 degree recording pattern, and even a surround sound option. Samsontech has some nice video demonstrations on its website.

One big complaint I've had with the Edirol is the cost of its add-on stand. Unlike the Edirol, the H2 comes with a simple stand. In addition, the H2 has a threaded hole so that it can be mounted on a standard digital camera tripod! On a separate note, it's much easier to replace batteries with the H2 than the Edirol.

Recently, I got together with friends and recorded the same live acoustic music on both the Edirol R-09 and the Zoom H2. I used Adobe Audition only to normalize both tracks (that is, equalize their loudness). The first time we played them back, I thought I detected a VERY slight preference for the Edirol, with the overall opinion of the group split between the two units. The second time we played them back, my preference was for the H2, with overall opinion continuing to be split. We all agreed that the differences were so small as to be negligible if there were any at all. The sound files can be found at [...] for those who'd like to hear for themselves. We were sitting in a circle with the recorders located next to each other on a mantle above and outside the group.

I do prefer the Edirol's control buttons to the H2's membrane and I'm not about to sell the Edirol, perhaps because I am more familiar with the Edirol and don't want to give it up just yet. Also, the Edirol R-09 is the darling of the moment. However, if I owned neither, I couldn't justify the huge bump in price of the Edirol over the H2 and would opt for the H2. When I went to a music party last weekend and knew I'd need only one recorder, I grabbed the H2. Zoom H2 Handy Portable Stereo Recorder

I've had my H2 since September, and used it in a variety of professional broadcast situations, with mixed success. The recorder worked well when recording from a line level or mult box feed at mic level. I loved flipping out the card and putting it into my laptop's SD slot to get the files in quickly for edits.

Hoever, given that the recorder's construction precludes using it handheld (too much noise transmitted from handling) it is a definite negative that a standard broadcast field mic like an EV 635A does not deliver enough signal to overcome the poor mic preamp built in.

The built-in mic does work quite well (in the right setting) and is excellent for simple voice track tasks recording in a very quiet place. Be sure to use the included pop filter to prevent "P-popping."

I haven't tried it for face-to-face interview yet, using two of the built in mics, but I'm guessing it would be OK.

The Marantz 620 is being evaluated here and seems to be able to overcome a few of the H2's handicaps at a not-too-much-higher price.

Certainly for low-cost voice recording for amateurs or even limited professional use like mine, this is a very cost-effective tool.

This is a stereo digital recorder that in hands more capable than mine could produce quite-nearly professional level recordings.

I bought this a few weeks ago for interview and to create rich media projects for my work as a reporter. I found that when you take the time to be careful with it, and can do some clean up in post-production, this mic/recorder combo will rival systems costing thousands more. Yes, it's built in mics are *that* good. And it's an all-in-one solution to field recording. The basic design premise is quite clever, actually.

Choices for recording are broad, ranging from 44.1, 48 and 96khz/ 16/24 bit WAV files to various quality Mp3s. 5.1 Surround sound, if you want. Some built in limiters and three gain settings. And you can adjust the recording level in all modes. You can split tracks anywhere you want, normalize and more. Menu navigation is passable. Screen is adequate.

I recorded a live show with it, using a preset limiter for concert to keep the top end from clipping (I had to set and forget, couldn't adjust for how loud the show was) and the end product after tweaking it a bit in Audcacity was STUNNING.

No place for XLR mic inputs, so no phantom power whatsoever. It will accept and power 1/8" mini jack external mics. Handles my 4Gig SD card well, and I hear rumors that it'll handle 8gig cards as well. USB transfer is SLOW, so invest in a card reader.

Overall, I'm a bit concerned that I'll break it, it's made so poorly. The switches are flimsy plastic and seem as though they'll break if you look at them wrong. The plastic body seems like it'll shatter. 1/4" 20 tripod socket is more than just handy, but it's plastic too, instead of threaded metal. I would definitely prefer for a more robust body and would pay for it too.

The first thing to break on this thing will be the ultra-cheap battery door latch hooks which are .5mm thick, just waiting to be broken. I'll have use gaff tape to deal with that inevitability.

Note to Samson/Zoom: if the build quality were better all round, I'd bay $300 for it. Overall, this is a technical gem, fabulous value, but made of egg shells. Too bad such a machine will be broken due to a six-and-a-half-cent switch giving out. Samson could have done better. - Recorder - Audio - Digital Voice Recorder - Mp3 Recorder'

Lich King - warcraft, wow

I have been playing World of Warcraft since a month after it came out. Not quite consistently, as I've taken a couple of 6 or so month breaks in that duration, but I've been there through all the changes. Having started playing the game again 2 years ago when Burning Crusade came out and being pretty disappointed, I have to say that restarting the game again this time with Lich King has been a much better experience. At first, I only got the expansion because all of my friends and all the old folks from my guild were getting back together. So I figured that even though I wasn't really looking forward to getting into the game again, at least I'd have the fun social aspect of it. But I'm having more fun playing the game with this expansion than I have had since the game started and everything was new.

So does that mean that the game has totally changed and we're playing a whole new WoW? Not exactly. It seems that this is the expectation that a lot of people are having. I'm reading a lot of negative reviews saying that this is more of the same. Well, unfortunately for them, it is. It's the same game, just more of it. There are still plenty of obnoxious people with bad manners and even worse skills in English, still plenty of quests that involve killing mobs and gathering items, still an opposing faction that kills you while you're questing (for me there is anyways) and so on. But in my opinion, the new content in Northrend has much more depth, much more detail and is just plain more fun than anything I experienced with the Burning Crusade Expansion. It really seems that Blizzard took their time in making the quests much more unique and varied as well as many other aspects of the content.

A lot of people jump on WoW to plow through the quests and instances and get to level 80 as soon as possible. Why? There probably won't be another expansion for 2 years, so what's the rush? That's my feeling about that anyways. I find that when I play the game more sparsely, I'm able to appreciate the time that was put into it and also prevent myself from getting burned out. I pay attention to a lot of things in games that other may not care about at all, such as environment and music. The new zones in Northrend look really cool (at least by the standard that WoW looks considering the graphics are outdated in general, but with an MMO that's not really a problem for me.) With the first zone in Northrend, Borean Tundra, I was just impressed by the scope of the place: four flight points, 130 quests, NPC ships raiding NPC towns, undead crawling out of the earth, gnome planes flying all over the place... It was all a little overwhelming. And I didn't find that much annoying repetition as I did the quests there, despite the fact that there are twice as many quests in that zone as there are in the first zone of Outlands. In fact, some of the quests were pretty innovative. And the environment for the second zone I went to, Howling Fjord, was simply amazing to me. The boat ride into the huge cove with the towering canyons, waterfalls, all around was unlike any WoW environment I had seen. Continually as I go into each zone, everything about Northrend just seems bigger and more grand than anywhere else.

Another thing that's impressed me with the expansion is the music. Most of the up-tempo quasi Lord of the Rings style score has been replaced with more mellow and melodic fare. From the first boat ride into Northrend you'll hear a somber but really amazing fiddle tune and much of the music in the many zones matches that tone. It's sometimes a little odd to be in the midst of slaughtering enemies to the sounds of fiddle and pipes in the background, but somehow it all works. A lot of the music throughout the rest of the world has been changed and enhanced for the better as well.

These things aside, everything else about the game seems to be enjoyable. PVP is one of my favorite WoW pass times and there's no shortage of that here. Admittedly, the Wintergrasp PVP zone isn't quite as huge and amazing as I'd hoped, but it's still fun, as is the new battleground. The instances are more attuned for my liking, since I rarely get a time to play video games for more than an hour or two at a time. The new smaller, more easily accessible dungeons are much more fun and like a lot of the quest lines, they're actually pretty fun and unique.

So perhaps it was the fact that I bought it with low expectations, or maybe it's just because Blizzard really put out a good product, but I really like Wrath of the Lich King. If you're looking for the childish and a**hole players to disappear, looking for less questing to do, less... Warcraft, then you're looking for another game. This is still World of Warcraft, but now it's as good or better than it ever was. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack

For the most part, this is by far the best incarnation of WoW yet. Northrend is joy to quest in since it looks nice, has excellent lore (at least for the alliance) that involves you like never before, and a new class that is really fun to play. However, after awhile the novelty of all this new stuff wears off and you're left with the end game content to keep you playing. As someone who can't raid, I was really looking forward to getting to run the new heroics and things. However, Blizzard's new philosophy on the "difficulty scaling" of the game has pretty much completely changed the way end game content runs. After less than a month of playing, my friends and I were tearing through the heroics like nothing. Its hard to get psyched for new gear when you can already dominate in what you have. Heroics in TBC were basically hard as heck raids for 5 people, and I miss that. Heroics aren't the only casualty to the new system: I've never seen so many people with the best gear in the game before just running around. My friends that do raid have nothing left to do, and are now just epicly gearing out all their alts. That situation will be fixed with patches, but it stinks to have to just wait for everything. This is basically the first time playing the game I (and my friends) were left with nothing to do except level alts. I can't really comment on the pvp state of the game since that's not my thing (bg's are the most frustrating thing ever... especially on Alliance).

In summary, exploring the new world for the first time is fun, but that's about it. If you can't raid and aren't obsessed with pvp, find an alt you love or be prepared for boredom. - Blizzard - Warcraft - Wow - Lich King'

Mangrooming - body hair, mangrooming

Never having groomed "down there" I was concerned that such unabused skin would react badly to the process. I was pleasantly surprised when after the first use, there wasn't a hint of irritation. Further, during the use, it was amazingly comfortable. For any guy considering grooming down there, this appears to be THE choice MANGROOMER Private Body Shaver

I would recommend this product to anyone that trims there body hair regularly. It trims very close to the skin while not making your skin irritated, creating razor bumps, or nicking you. The only downside is that it doesnt hold its charge all that well.

I bought this product for myself after reading the other positive five-star reviews. Perhaps they lead me to unreasonable expectations of this product. This product is not "high tech" or "solid" feeling like other reviews have claimed. This product is cheap plastic and the red attachment broke as soon as I attempted to remove it. The performance is downright mediocre and barely gets three stars. This overrated product only works if you repeated shave the same area until your skin is totally irritated. I would not recommend this product.

At first i was just like all the other reviewers dissapointed that i wasted my money on something that didn't work at all! Well I let it fully charge and figured out that by making an upstroke while i cut was the trick and it worked great! Very happy with the product now.

I purchased the man groomer based on all the positive reviews here and was severely underwhelmed. For starters the manufacturing is extremely cheaply done, all in China. The case is very flimsy plastic and would likely break with any kind of abuse.

Furthermore the product simply does not work and slows down when trying to cut hair. Either the motor or the power supplied is simply not enough to do an effective job on cutting hair. In addition, the red standoff is useless for cutting hair to a certain length as hair will completely miss the cutters when going over certain areas.

Do yourself a huge favor and ignore all the fake positive reviews, many of which conspicuously have only 1-2 reviews in their portfolio. Having spent some time as a manufacturing engineer myself, I can definitely say that little attention was paid to the design of this product and there was likely no product revision and no product testing.

If you still want to believe that this product will do wonders for you, email the company and ask for a money back guarantee in writing! I know I want my money back!

This product is poorly designed and does not work very well. I read all of the reviews and the negative ones really made me think before I ordered, but I did it anyway since it came with a free nose/ear trimmer. I truly believe that the positive reviews below are planted to boost the rating. Any decent beard trimmer would work better than this. I guess if the price was $14-$19 it would be a fair price but $39.99 is too expensive. Spend another $10 and get any more reputable brand beard trimmer if you really want a positive experience. Nothing about this item makes it "better" for "private" areas.

GOOD LITTLE MACHINE THAT IS SUPRISINGLY SOFT ON THE SENSITIVE AREAS WHILE SHAVING. I NORMALLY USE MY PRIVATE SHAVER BEFORE THE SHOWER SO ALL THE HAIR IS EASY TO IDENTIFY TO SHAVE, THEN FINISH IN THE SHOWER TO CLEAN IT OFF OFF AT THE SAME TIME FOR NEXT USE. POWER AND CHARGE LIFE HAVE PROVEN WELL TO DATE AND STURDY FEEL. I STAND IN SUPPORT OF THIS PURCHASE.

the power is strong and blade wider than normal shaver to do faster. for the price paid, this is a great deal. the mangroomer nose trimmer also works great and amazon delivered both in only 2 days time..

I have always wanted to groom in private areas, but never found a convenient way to achieve this. The man groomer is a fast, easy and safe way to accomplish the grooming I preferred. Total satisfaction with this product! - Mangrooming - Body Hair - Mens Grooming - Grooming'

Framing Nailer

I have plans to begin finishing out my basement in the near future. After researching several different brands of framing nailers, I decided on this one based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews it received. After only breaking it in, I can tell you that I can see why everyone has such good things to say about this nailer. It is without a doubt a quality, powerful, confidence-inspiring piece of equipment that anyone would be proud to own.

I bought it right after I purchased the Porter-Cable CFFN250N combo kit. After breaking in the compressor (very important I might add), I set the regulator at 100 psi, and connected and loaded the nailer with 3" .120 coated framing nails. I found a couple of scraps of 2x4, stacked them one on top of the other, and let her go. At 100 psi, and with no adjustment to the gun right out of the box, it went through both pieces and sank the first nail perfectly flush, no problem! After a few more test shots, I gave the depth adjustment on the gun a quarter turn just to see what difference it would make. At the same pressure, it put the head of the nail slightly below the surface of the wood, just as it should. As expected, there was quite a bit more recoil with a nailer this size, and I found that just a little more pressure on the board helped when firing a nail. After all, it is shooting a 3" nail in one shot! I also changed the trigger to the "contact actuation" mode, which shoots a nail every time you touch the tip to the wood. This is a great feature, but as one other reviewer noted, I would suggest using it with caution. In the hands of someone unfamiliar with it's operation, it could be very dangerous! Nevertheless, it worked flawlessly, and all initial indications are that this gun will serve me well for many years to come. It's amazing what having the right equipment can do for your confidence level, especially if you're an amateur like me!

On a side note, I was also very pleased to see that such an affordable and relatively small compressor (2HP, 6 gallons) could produce more than enough pressure to power this gun. The compressor will produce 135 psi, and the gun's operating range is from 70-120 psi. As noted above, I had no problem with 3" nails at 100 psi.

Also, I can't say enough about the deal I got here at Amazon on this nailer. I caught it on a good day at less than $200, ordered the 17-piece accessory kit with it, took advanatage of the $25 off and free shipping offer, and still came out almost $50 cheaper than I would've paid for the nailer alone at the big orange store!

Thanks Amazon. You are an asset to the online shopping community! Porter-Cable FR350A Round Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer

Just finished house number 2 with this bad boy. You just can't beat Porter Cable. Stick with the 350A instead of buying the 350mag. It is only about a pound heavier, comes with a case and you save $40.Very Well Balanced Machine, little fatigue during the day. Great hands-free depth adjustment. Extremely easy to load, advance and clear. You can change from restrictive to sequential fire easily on the trigger. My Hitachi can now be retired, I will not go back, this is my framing nailer of choice. As another reviewer seems to have found out, this is not an appearance nailer, for something like siding you may want to try the Porter-Cable RN175A Coil. I have had no problems sinking 16D's in even engineered lumber. For everyday use the 350A is highly recommended.

Rough Framing is not for everyone or every nailer. We had three of these porter cable nailer because of the price on a framing crew. As time went on we had one nailer on the job because two were always in the shop. The guns do not have the duribility needed to stand up to driving a few thousand nails a day. We oil the guns every day and keep the compressor at 110 but still had problems. The guns jam at least twice a day and there is no easy way to fix them while hanging off the side of a house. I've used Dewalt, Hitachi, Bostich, and a few other and never had to wonder if they would fire each time I pulled the trigger. It is also tricky to change out a clip of nails once they are loaded.

The tool free adjustable muzzle and depth are nice features. I wish that the nailers were put together better. We chose to go to Hitachi and get a nailer worth the money.

I bought this based on a lot of positive reviews that I read while researching framing nailers on several different websites. I must say, I am VERY pleased.

First of all, this tool has copious amounts of power. I was able to sink 3.5" 8d nails with no problem, even while adding a work bench and shelving in my new/old garage which features some really tough dimensional lumber. Further, and in spite of what I had read, I thought that the recoil was minimal.

Some of the reviews I read gave this tool mediocre to above average reviews w.r.t. balance and weight. I'm not sure what inspired these comments. The only issue that I had with balance was when the air hose got caught on something and pulled on the nailer but let's face it, this is an issue with any air tool. In fact, after using it for residential framing for two days straight, I did not notice any fatigue in my forearm or wrist. When I first opened the case, I looked at the size of the thing and assumed that it would be heavy. Quite the contrary. I've had the opportunity to try a few other framing nailers (Senco, Hitachi) and I thought that this felt lighter. Just my opinion.

I live in Chicago, Illinois and have had absolutely no problems finding nails (Lowes and the Borg have multiple selections for this tool). A box of 2500 2-3/8" nails cost me $25.00. Strangely, this is perhaps one item that is cheaper to buy locally when you factor in shipping charges.

I had read somewhere that the exhaust was not tool free. I bought the nailer conceding this fact however I found that it is not true.

I've read a couple of gripes based on the fact that the nailer does not have a holder for the mar-free nose piece. To this I say "big deal." When you are doing framing work, do you really care if you leave toenail spike marks in the lumber when you are face-nailing??

I was suprised to note that, when the magazine is down to 2-3 nails, the gun no longer fires. I don't really see this as an issue though.

One other reviewer noted that it is difficult to remove nails from the chamber if for instance, you wish to change nail lengths/sizes. I own several different nailers including Bostich, Campbell Hausfeld and PC. To date, I haven't found any that are particularly easy w.r.t. removing nails that have already been loaded. On the other hand, loading nails in this gun is simple. You shove a set in the rear of the gun, pull the tensioner back beyond them and let it go. Voila!

To summarize, I am not a professional framer/carpenter. I do not use a tool like this for a living although as a woodworker and homeowner, I probably use my framing nailer more often than most. I think that it is a great product for the money. Can you buy a better nailer? Without even looking, I'm sure you can but at what cost? Finally, the quality of higher-end tools is quite subjective, much like a good pair of home stereo loudspeakers. I think that this particular product is a fantastic combination of quality and value.

Skeptical? Buy one from Home Depot and try it out. If you don't like it, all you have to lose is 35-45 minutes in line trying to return it! ;o)'

Blackberry 8800 Accessory - external battery charger, chargers

Bought this to charge a spare battery I bought for my Blackberry 8350. My cell phone comes with a MICRO USB plug for charging and syncing. I wanted to eliminate a cable during travel.

This unit operates off a MINI USB plug. This means I cannot operate it from my cell phone's charger, which is what I anticipated when I bought the unit. However, read on.

The MINI USB input is the typical one you find on a camera, card reader, or older phone. So it's easy to pick one up or find one laying around the house.

The GOOD thing is there is a USB output. Therefore, I can charge both my extra battery AND my phone from one USB outlet. I use a MINI usb cable to this unit. Then I use the MICRO USB sync cable that came from my phone to go from the output of this charger to my phone. I'll add a picture to show how I use it.

The LED light is moderately useful. OTHER chargers have a clear transition from charging (blinking orange color) to finished (not blinking, green). THIS CHARGER glows solid yellow while charging and SLOWLY goes to a solid green color at full charge. I never feel you've charged the whole way, and I wonder whether I'm really seeing yellow or green because the color is very similar.

I almost want to discount one star because of these issues, but for the price this device has excellent utility and fits my needs.

Note: I tried charging both the battery and my phone at the same time off my PC USB, and I got an error on my phone that there is not enough power to charge the battery. Using an external charger worked fine, there is enough juice coming from a wall unit. RIM ASY-12738-001 Mini Extra Battery Charger - Charger - Retail Packaging - Black

This product works great and doesn't seem too fragile. My only criticisms are that it is a little more difficult than it should be to remove the battery from the charger (tight fit), and the charging and done charging lights are very similar colors so it's hard to know if it's done.

I purchase the Blackberry OEM Mini External Battery Charger because my Blackberry Pearl stopped charging and I am not ready to get a new phone. I am able to keep 3 batteries charged up and ready to go.

What a nice product. It fits into my laptop carrying bag nicely and is a nice product for those who have two batteries for their phone. Now I always have a charged battery on hand when I am to busy to plug my phone into a charger. I am glad I found this product.

This charger has made my life a lot easier. I have one battery charging most of the day. I'm charging a C-S2 battery for my Blackberry Curve 8330. Note that it works well plugged into USB on laptop or PC, or plugged into wall charger. You do need your own micros USB cable or wall charger. My only suggestions to the manufacturer would be:

1) Change the charge light to look more yellow vs green when charging.

2) Give it a defective battery blink

Either of these and I would give it 5 stars.

My BB Pearl Flip 'died' and would not charge. The device had completely drained the battery and apparently even with a USB charge cable (tried both AC Outlet and the data transfer cable) it will not charge up unless the battery has some charge. Took the battery out of the device and used this External Battery Charger, my BB is now working.

I absolutely love this charger! Its so compact you can put it in a small purse and charges in about an hour and a half. I love that its so small and it keeps you from wearing and tearing on your 8330 phone. I hear the charge port on the phone will break but with this mini charger its perfect. I love it and the price is great as well as the shipping!!! Buy One

It's a very nice charger but it has two cons: First blackberry devices takes about 5 minutes to reset the os, then use this charger requires a little pacience to change the device battery. Second the charger uses a MINI usb port to be charged and my BB 8520 and 9300 uses an MICRO usb charger, i can use the provided charger to use this stan alone charger, but it work with any usb cable.

The charger port on my blackberry is broken and I haven't fixed it yet. While removing the battery completely is not the most convenient way to charge a phone, this device works well using the charger cable that came with my phone. And it arrived via USPS in only 3 days. - External Battery Charger - Chargers - Accessories - Spare Battery Charger'

Captain America - captain america, hugo weaving

DC Comics, Hasbro and other Marvel Comics productions NOT involving CAPTAIN AMERICA take note... CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER got it right - THIS is how you make a superhero movie!!

1) DO humanize your hero but not by creating disgusting habits in him (Iron Man) - rather by presenting him as the personified goodness all humans possess but infrequently act on. DON'T turn him into a total pathetic wuss and moronic jerk at the beginning only to turn the improbable light switch for him to become the hero he's supposed to be.

2) DO showcase the central character in ALL his comic book glory and yes, a little patriotic flag waving doesn't hurt. Um, he is suppeosed to be an AMERICAN hero after all not just a "citizen of the world." DON'T be ashamed of the golden legacy that turned an imagined character into an enduring icon of American culture. (Superman Returns and Smallville - I'm thinking of you.)

3) DO stick to ONE story thread and carry it to completion. DON'T try to "add depth and diversity" by intoducing a bunch of superfluous characters that only serve to create a mess (Green Lantern, G.I. Joe and again, Smallville).

4) DO give the superhero a supervillain worthy of him. DON'T save the good stuff for a planned sequel because if your original movie sucks, the sequel becomes very unlikely (Superman Returns - Spacey's version of Lex Luthor was laughable and not in a good way. The first Hulk - his own father???)

5) DO bring out the trumpets and flurries for a memorable theme song. DON'T rely on cheesy heavy metal "music" (Matrix movies).

6) DO allow the superhero to fall long and hard for the ONE true love of his life and vice versa. DON'T create insanely obnoxious girly pointless melodrama (Spider-Man, Superman Returns and Smallville). On similar note, DO present the hero's LOVE and soulmate in all her stellar glory as his one and only equal - SHOW it, DON'T just say it.

7) DO frame the hero in stunning action sequences in all his head to toe uniformed glory (Tom Welling, PLEASE take note). DON'T pick an actor to play said hero if he's going to refuse to wear the suit by trying to hide behind a lame ass excuse such as "it's more interesting to show what happend in the character's life before he became the hero we know him to be." DON'T, DO NOT disrespect your audience by presuming to tell us what to think. If you're going to film the Statue of Liberty, doesn't it make sense that the audience expects to actually SEE the Statue of Liberty and not a blurry CGI version of it or just a close up of the head?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER is quite simply, THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE EVER MADE. Chris Evans and Haley Atwell are bona fide stars. Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and really, ALL the supporting characters have earned my respect. The writers and director Joe Johnston have created a masterpiece. Alan Menken and Alan Silvestri with the music and the entire crew obviously poured their heart into the making of this film and I, as a classic movie lover, am genuinely grateful. God bless you all and God bless the United States of America! ... UNashamedly so! Interior Accessories - car power, adapter

The side contact on the plug end is a bad design. It bends in and looses contact regularly. I am now buying this products replacement and throwing it away. Find one with a dual sided plug or with a spring behind the contact. This just bends in. Custom Accessories CU070051 12V Twin Plug in Accessory Sockets

I already own a different two-port device and needed another one. This works very well. The short cords add some flexibility to a crowded dash area. If your 12v outlet is near the floor or console, this is a great choice. If your outlet is higher up, say mid-dash, you may want to consider a product without the short cords.

I required a dual-adaptor for my car after acquiring a GPS system over Christmas, in addition to my iPod and in-car phone charger. This tool is invaluable; the short cords provide just enough reach, and the plug fit perfectly into my cigarette lighter. Great item!

Not much that I can say about this unit, it's pretty simple and it seems to work fine. The cable is *just* short enough so that you can't plug it into itself.

Our use wasn't so much for the one-to-two expansion (although that's very useful), but used for protection. We've a couple accessory devices for the car that have very long plugs (with circuitry inside) that extend significantly out of the socket. In our case that exposes it to being hit with a knee and because of the long cantilever it's subject to being damaged. Using this spliter device has the long devices plugged in hanging vertically below the socket, and out of the way of a flying knee. And not cantilevered subject to damage. Works perfectly for this purpose. I ordered a second one after getting the first.

The product I received is slightly different than that shown in Amazon's product photo. Simple and effective power port solution. Has indicator LED on plug. Nice product for the price. Would recommend. - Car Power - Car Adapter - Dual Car Adapter - Adapter'
