Dust Collector Accessories - accessories, dust collection

If your worried about this thing fitting STOP !! This fitting fits inside the standard 4" collection hose no problem. As for the reduction end it's also true and mated with my shop vac hose just fine. Here's a little helpful hint.If your having problems with fittings or your dust collection hose has a weird tweek in it and wont fit up under your machine like you want.Use a heat gun or a hair drier to slowely heat up the hose and then position it however you need to. Now get out there and collect some dust. Woodstock W1044 4-to-2-1/2-Inch Reducer

STOP LOOKING FOR A 4" CONNECTOR. THIS ONE ACTUALLY FITS A WOODSTOCK 4" HOSE & GENERIC 2 1/2" HOSE. I HAVE SPENT $$ ORDERING 4" CONNECTORS ONLY TO BE DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DON'T FIT LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT IT TO. WILL NOT FIT 4" MACHINE OUTPUT CONNECTIONS, BUT FITS THE HOSE LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I purchased this item expecting it to hook up to a standard shop vac hose for catching chips coming off a DeWalt 735 bench top planer. The 2.5 inch outlet will not match up to most large shop vacuums.

This item was a recommended "...people also buy..." when buying the Delta 50-359 12-inch Planer Connect. They do not connect together. Each have the same OD & ID. Searched everywhere for an adapter or PVC pipe with the right dimensions; no luck. Used Gorilla Tape. Works great.

A long fexible 2-1/2 inch hose makes vacuuming a car so much easier. This adapter fit my shop vacs inlet snugly making the vac more useful. The smaller hose wasn't cheap, but it's worth having & using.

It gets five stars for being what it is supposed to be without any negatives. It's just plastic, and I wouldn't expect better quality.

With this, I can change from standard 4" duct to the hose that came with my Rigid ShopVac. This can, in turn, collect dust from a mitre saw or router dust attachment. - Accessories - Dust Collector Accessories - Dust Collection - Dust'

Screen Protectors - useless, screen protectors

I bought one of these for my husband's Mytouch 4g. We're no strangers to screen protectors. We've had our fair share of awful installations and horrible quality. This goes without saying for the Mytouch. My husband picked up a screen protector from t-mobile that was made for the mytouch and while the quality was decent, installation a breeze, and the clarity good it didn't cover everything my husband wanted leaving the camera area open and vulnerable. My husband also picked up "high quality" screen protectors 3xs as much as the one featured here and the screen protector became scratched just from installation with the squeegee provided. Very upsetting....

The XtremeGUARD has been, by far, the best. It doesn't feel like a piece of plastic like most I've bought. It's actually closer to a rubbery like texture which holds up so much better to scratches and also allows you to stretch (slightly and carefully mind you) to cover the screen should it be a little short. I've used this type of material before on many of my precious electronic devices and they hold up the best to scratches themselves as well as protecting the device well. They feel good to the touch and add a gripping texture. They do require more work to get on the device but the protection is unmatched. The drawback of this type of material is as follows;

1. You will have to use a solution of some sort to activate the adhesive on the screen protector. It could be a solution provided by the manufacturer or just a small amount of water.

2. You WILL have to allow the solution to dry and let the protector set in place with as little use to the device as possible for at least an hour.

3.The screen protector will look like there are 'bubbles' or swirls underneath immediately following application. (this is the 'saran-wrap' look other reviews metion) This WILL go away after about 12 hours. As stated before the solution has to 'SET'. Just leave it alone and ignore the bubble or swirls. They settle out on their own. It looks weird at first but it will go away.

The amount of water is usually minuscule and not enough to cause any electronic device damage. It would be about the same as talking on your phone while walking in the rain. To add to that the water or solution should be applied to the protector and not the device and the device should be powered off and not connected to an outlet. (this should go without saying) The installation, while tedious, isn't that hard but most screen protector installations will be tedious. Applying a clear sheet of anything with any type of adhesive while expecting to avoid any dust, debris, fingerprints, or bubbles is difficult at best.

My husband was able to apply the screen protector quickly and fairly easily just by following the instructions provided and he's OCD. At the end there are some traces of dust around the edges but had he fully followed the instructions and allowed the proctor to set for at least an hour it wouldn't have. He understands this however. He, like most people, get impatient. Honestly, what's a few hours of non-use versus months of protection of your device? Especially the screen/camera of your smartphone.

Applying screen protectors is never easy and they are not all created equal. The material this one uses is difficult to deal with but once it's on you will not find more protection and better clarity for this price. XtremeGUARD© T-Mobile HTC MyTouch 4G Screen Protector (Ultra CLEAR)(XTREMEGUARD© BULK Packaging)

So i recently bought myself a new mytouch 4g, I LOVE IT. i bought screen protector at a t-mobile store, didnt realize they were CRAP until i installed it, makes screen looks low res. so i looked on amazon.com found a great product came in 3 days and ITS AWESOME! installation is pretty tricky but after the water dries it makes the high resolution display look EVEN BETTER. I LOVE IT. must get if you have a mytouch 4g

The instructions that come with the product seem a little intimidating when you first read them due to the use of water and all of the warnings, but the application of the screen protector really isn't that difficult of a process at all. The package even comes with a microfiber towel and a card for use in the instilation pocess. I followed the instructions exactly and now I can't even tell that there is a screen protector there. It really is that clear.

An added bonus is that the protector itself has a precut hole for the video chat camera so that the picture doesn't become hasy, due to the plastic protector coveing the camera lens, while still protecting the surrounding area of the camera.

Over all a good product that seems like it will last a good long while (as long as you follow the instructions).

I've tried a few of these "military" grade screen protectors. This is by far the best. The main reason is that the screen protector is virtually impossible to see. Some of the others i've used left a bumpy appearance. This goes on clear. And at $2, you really can't go wrong!

A lot of reviewers complain about the fact that after application the screen is blotchy and some bubbles remain no matter what they do. This is totally normal and its ok. In 2 days all the bubbles disappear and you have a nice screen.

I've put on a few of these now, my phone, my wife's, my sisters..... The best way to do it is:

Wash you hands

Remove the protector from the paper

Spray some water.

Do not put your finger on the adhesive side. Put the protector as carefully as you can at one end and push down with the hard card provided until you reach the other end.

Wash the excess liquid.

Remember, this is precision cut. So if you start it in the correct position, the protector will be on perfectly!!

This screen guard is much easier to install than most others because you put it on your phone while it is wet. You can move it around and get it positioned perfectly. Once it dries overnight, it is smooth and completely invisible. You can not tell it is on your phone. - Screen Protectors - Useless'

Minnesota Twins

I read the reviews regarding the larger head size and so ordered the cap. Those other reviews were dead on - the cap fits perfectly, looks good, and feels good. Great choice if you wear a large or above. Minnesota Twins Clean Up Adjustable Cap

I am very picky about what kind of hats I wear. I also have a hard time finding a cap that will fit me because I have a large head. This cap fits me perfect and is very comfortable. I also like it because it just has the team logo on the front and that is it. It's not flashy.

I have difficulty finding hats that fit (I have a big head - my students all say a fat head). Most adjustable hats can adjust to be big enough, but they are still snug in the back because of the way they are cut. But this hat fits great and feels very comfortable. It is a great hat for a Minnesota Twins fan.'

Comfortable Shoes - lace-ups, walking shoe

Oh my gosh...this is the best shoe ever!

If you have a problem with WIDE feet (mine are boats! High instep and just plain wide!), these are a wonderful shoe. I have such trouble finding comfy stuff to put on my feet. These are actually "walkers", so they are good for all the basic stuff. They are also SUPER LIGHT! They just feel like clouds on my feet. I am in heaven.

Also, the styling on your feet is very slimming. Some shoes LOOK like boats on. These have small cording to tie up with and the shape is very narrow looking across the top. But very roomy inside.

Wide shoe that has a narrow appearance. PRICELESS!

They look like an athletic shoe, not geriatric like some walkers do (not that there is anything wrong with that ). Roomy... but I feel very secure in them when walking. Not wobbly at all.

If you have trouble getting shoes, I feel your pain!!! and I highly recommend these. Easy Spirit Women's Jumper,White/Lt Grey Leather,11 M

Very comfortable. The "W" really does mean Wide. If you have wide feet, you know that first thought when trying on new shoes, "Oh, they,ll feel better when they've stretched a little." Not with these. They fit right away. They fit when I put them on and they still fit after they are broken in. Good quality. I like the shoes a lot, I just don't give 5 stars unless I find something amazing. I would certainly purchase another pair.

This is my fourth pair of Jumper. I still have two good white pairs, but I bought this black pair so I could wear them all winter. My feet aren't particularly big, but they are wide. I try to get Extra Wide (EE) when I can, but they can be difficult to find in walking shoes. These shoes have been perfect for me because the have a roomy toebox. They are comfortable, able to accomodate inserts and are nice looking, too. The leather uppers clean nicely and I find them last a long time. My original pair has been retired to garden/outdoor work because they eventually began to look shabby, but they still feel good and have adequate support.

I was somewhat wary of buying shoes online without trying them on first, but figured that Easy Spirit typically offered a great fit in most of their styles of shoes. These shoes were no exception. I was pleasantly surprised at the softness of the uppers and support offered by the soles. These will be great shoes to wear to work as I am on my feet for the majority of the workday.

I used to be a big Easy Spirit fan, until I bought Easy Spirit's Jumper and Punter recently.

First, the good: toe box wide enough for my wide feet.

Now, the ugly: there is simple no shock absorbency. My heels hurt like hell, and the pain persists for hours after I've removed the shoes. This issue only occurred after I began wearing these new Easy Spirit shoes (it's been less than two months). I have not had any food/spinal injury.

In addition, the outsole material is very cheap and the outsole began chipping within one week of use.

As I read the product description, I find that the shock absorbent material type is not mentioned. Is it simply EVA or something else cheaper? Who knows?

I just love these shoes and I am so happy that they are still available. These latest shoes are the fourth pair I have had and they are just as comfortable and good looking as the first pair I bought. These shoes have taken me many places from Italy to Spain to France to Egypt and many places in between. Other travelers have had problems walking or nursing sore feet but I have been spared those wearing my trusty jumpers. Hopefully I can wear these out and get my fifth pair. They really last well, I wear them in the garden and everywhere.

I've ordered another style of Easy Spirit walking shoes and loved those as they fit great and need no breaking in period.... I love it when I can wear a shoe straight out of the box with no problems.

This time around I decided to give the Easy Spirit Jumper style a try due the deep discounted price and good reviews. The Easy Spirit Jumper walking shoes took time to break in and were tight feeling across the top of my feet at first. I have a high arch, so this may have been why I experienced the tightness when I fist began wearing them.

Also, the Easy Spirit Jumper looks a bit fuddy-duddy and not very stylish looking, but for the price I decided to keep them.

I don't know if it is the shoe or my foot, but I am finding them too large at the heels so they slip there causing irritation when I am walking/jogging on the treadmill. I would not buy this style again. - Easy Spirit Walking Shoes - Walking Shoe - Womens Shoes - Lace-ups'

Blackberry Bold - case, bold 9700

This case is worth every penny you will spend on it. It does fit the Blackberry 9700 just like a glove. It is not bulky and it still allows you to carry your phone in the leather blackberry case that it came with. OtterBox Commuter Case for BlackBerry Bold 9700

I've been pretty satisfied with the Otter Box Blackberry case. I've had other cases that snap together, but they always seem to break after a drop. This case fits around the Blackberry and has survived all of my drops. I was most concerned about the rubber/hard plastic combination of the Otter Box and how well it would slide in and out of my pocket. So far, I haven't had any issues. Overall it seems to be a pretty good case for my Blackberry 9700.

I really like this case. It feels great in your hand and have great protection for your phone. Most important of all, it doesn't make your phone look much bigger. This is my second Otterbox case. I think they made lots of improvement already.

I can't say greater things about the Otterbox Commuter Case then what has already been said in other reviews. The one thing we were all missing is a holster. I can carry my iPhone in my pocket, but for some reason, I need a holster with Blackberrys =). Another reviewer (thanks Troy - crackberry_com) had mentioned that the Otterbox Commuter Case worked well with the Seidio Innocase Lock Holster for BlackBerry Bold 9700. I can confirm these statements. It's almost as the Seidio Innocase Lock Holster for BlackBerry Bold 9700 was designed with the Otterbox Commuter Case in mind. It fits perfectly.

With both the Otterbox Commuter Case and the Seidio Innocase Lock Holster for BlackBerry Bold 9700, I can access my mini-usb for charging, my headphone jack, volume rocker, my "special" buttons on the left and right and the lock and stand-by button at the top. Plus with the Otterbox Commuter Case, I can record video and takes pictures. The locking mech. works great with the case too. Nothing but good things to say about this combo.

UPDATE:

So, I've been using this setup now for like 2.5 months and it rocks. I still stand behind my purchase and review. I also read bad review for the screen protector not fitting right or not working right because of how the 9700's screen kinda drops at the sides but, I took my time and put it on and it looks great still, no air bubbles, nothing. Maybe they updated their screen protector when I purchase MARCH 2010 who know. But so far so good. The Bold 9700 also has not disappointed and I'm loving that tether app.

UPDATE: It now been 8 months as of 11/27/10 and can't complain. Otterbox Case and Seidio Holster combo still working nicely together. I've had no issue with either.

Let me start off by saying that the case fits really well on the phone. I took a few leaps of faith and dropped the phone a couple of times from about 3 feet to test it, and the case holds up pretty well. No complaints at all about the protection that it provides. A few people here were commenting about the quality of the screen protector, but I happen to love it. If you're careful enough then it will fit perfectly with very little to no air bubbles. The case even looks great on the phone. In my opinion it grips really well to your hand when you're using the phone. Even though the shell is hard plastic, I never had any problems with the phone slipping from my hands while I was holding it.

My only gripe is that although this case is indeed slimmer than the vast majority of protection cases, it wasn't as slim as I was hoping it would be. One of the reasons I purchased the case to begin with was based on one of the reviews listed here in regards to the phone fitting inside the leather case that comes with the Blackberry Bold 9700. Although the phone with the Otterbox case does fit inside the leather case, it is a far from ideal fit in my opinion. The magnetic clips on the leather case hardly stick together when using this case, and it fits too tightly in the case. When you see it in the case it becomes apparent that the nylon sides of the leather blackberry case will stretch over time, making it problematic to use in the future should you decide to no longer use this case. Looks like I won't be using my leather case after all.

Although it won't fit securely in your leather case, the Otterbox Commuter case with the phone should fit inside your pants pocket just fine (depending on how your pants fit to begin with; I personally wear boot cut or loose fit when it comes to jeans and the phone w/case fits fine in my front pocket). All in all, I would say 4.5 stars. It might be asking a bit much, but the fact that it didn't fit inside my leather case was a bit of a letdown for me.

I have had my otterbox commuter case for about a month now and it has proven to be exactly what I was looking for. It offers great shock and scratch protection on the back and sides thanks to the dual layer system. This dual layer arrangement also makes it much easier to slide the blackberry into and out of one's pocket, which is something that cannot be said about a single layer silicone sleeve (I had one on my previous blackberry so trust me when I say it is a pain to deal with).

Otterbox does include a screen protector as well. I had already purchased one by ZAGG prior to purchasing my case so I cannot offer any comment there.

Overall I am extremely happy with my choice. This was my first otterbox purchase, and I am sure it will not be my last.

The actual Otter Box case that surrounds the phone is great! I took out the clear keyboard screen cover because it makes typing a little difficult and holds in alot of dirt and moisture that slips passed the track pad opening. But the hardcase surrounded by the rubber impact case works for accidental drops and even survived being run over my a full size Front End Loader in a dirt pile.

My only complaint is that the Otter Box holster does not hold the phone well if you are on the move or running. If the phone gets bumped and slips from the side clamps, it is going to fall out...hence the Front End Loader running it over. I have almost lost the phone 3 times because it slipped from the holster without me even knowing it! My kids come up and give me a hug, and the phone usually ends up on the ground.

Overall, I love the case, but wish the holster had some sort of strap or device to keep it from slipping out of the holster so easily. - Case - Blackberry Bold - 9700 - Bold 9700'

Desk Accessories - car charger, palm pixi

I bought this cover for my girlfriend's Sprint Pixi. It didn't come with a touchstone cover but she always liked my Pre's touchstone features. I bought her this cover, a Palm car charger, and two touchstones (one for her desk, and another for her car).

The cover adds a nice bit of fun to a cute and small albeit rather drab looking phone (when it's all black). The functionality it adds to the phone for a low price is pretty amazing too. With the touchstone cover and a touchstone, you can answer calls by picking up the phone, if you answer a call while it's on the touchstone it'll goto speaker phone mode, when you are on a call and pick it up from the TS it'll switch from speaker phone to handset mode. It's a very intelligent and simple system.

The case it's self isn't perfect though. the one gripe my gf had about it is that the door for the Micro USB port is a little hard to open because the magnet always wants it shut. small thing but it does add a level of frustration.

I would recommend the Touch Stone cover for any Pixi out there. Palm Pixi Touchtone Back Cover(Green) - Desk Accessories - Palm Charger - Palm Pixi - Car Charger'

Ankle Socks - fruit of the loom

I ordered these to wear when I go to the gym. I personally find them to be kind of rough (definitely not soft) and easy to stretch out. However they don't ride down so that's a plus. For use at the gym or outdoors, they're fine. Nothing praiseworthy, nothing terrible. Fruit of the Loom Women's 6-Pack No-Show Socks,White,Size 4-10

I bought these socks because I wanted some new pairs for everyday use, including walking the dog. First thing I noticed is that they are paper thin: there isn't much to them. That's fine, I went cheap so it's to be expected. Second thing I noticed, the elasticity is almost non-existant: I think I broke the thread or whatever held it together the first time I opened the sock to put on. Again, I know I paid for cheap socks so they were still doing their job in my book. The thing that killed it for me was when I went to walk the dog today, and partway through our walk I could feel that my toes were hurting from rubbing against the cheap material. I walk my dog 4-5 days a week on the same route--I am not overweight or out of shape, and today was the first day where my toes were in pain after we got home. I think I may be getting blisters from the uncomfortable fabric of those socks.

In the end, they're not that expensive, but if you plan on doing any sort of extended activity that requires walking/moving, be warned that the inner material might cause you some discomfort if you're used to wearing better/average socks normally. These things are not even worth buying because of the price, just save yourself the hassle and get better socks!

I wear size 6 shoe, and these socks supposedly made for sizes 4-10 were too big. I am not sure they would have been very comfortable even if I had bigger feet. I will stick with the ones they sell at Costco from now on. They aren't any more expensive, but way better quality and fit.

I walk/jog a few miles everyday, and these socks were too thin and too scratchy to get the job done. They are not soft at all, nor thick enough to prevent blisters. I only wear them when nothing else is clean.

after the day is through you will notice how baggy and stretched out these socks feel. I have some champion socks that are similar and they stay on your feet and don't stretch out and slide all around your foot. they were inexpensive and cover my foot, but that's really not worth it to me.

I like a sock that hugs your foot with a little spandex in it...these feel like a bag around your foot...

but they are socks so I'm not to bent outta shape about it. - Fruit Of The Loom'

Mechanical Pencils - bic, mechanical pencil

Of all of the mechanical pencils I have used, these are simply the best. They maintain the "lead grip" well, so that the point does not slide back into the pencil with repeated use, and the eraser is firm and effective, and lasts as long as the pencil lead.

I've found that working with these disposable pencils is a much better option than using a single permanent mechanical pencil with refills. Don't bother refilling these pencils- the eraser only lasts as long as a single set of lead points.

The lead that comes in the pencil is strong and firm, and is actually quite a bit longer than the graphite in refill packs.

One warning: Do not purchase a similar Bic pencil type that has a grey barrel- while the superficial structure of the pencil is similar, the quality of the plastic is lower, and so I've had problems with the lead slipping back into the pencil when I press down on the tip. Stick with the black barrels only. BIC Mechanical Pencil, Medium Point (0.7 mm), 10 Pencils

I'm not really sure what all to say about these. They are good, functional mechinical pencils. Each has a good eraser, with spare refills stored underneath. And available at a good price.

If you need mechnical pencils, this is the product you're looking for.

I bought a bunch of these last semester, thinking mechanical pencils would be the way to go for college. These are HORRIBLE though. The erasers are waxy for one, which is annoying, but the lead in the pencil breaks just about everytime I try and write with it. I am not pushing out a lot of lead either, just enough to be able to hold the pencil like a normal pencil and write with it. SO frustrating while I am trying to take notes from a teacher who talks fast. I would NOT reccomend these to anyone who wants something useful and convenient. Buy a portable pencil sharpener, you'll be better off with real pencils.

Have used these plastic mechanical pencils for over two years, and have found them to be both functional and reliable. Several benefits of a mechanical pencil are: no change in overall length when fresh lead ( graphite ) is needed; no sharpener is necessary; the point is renewed with a simple click; and there is no change in line thickness as one wears down the point, with each word and letter being uniform in breadth and density thoughout the sentence and paragraph. For drafting and math, they are invaluble, two arts in which no pen can compete.

With respect to the pencil's eraser, it is seldom used, as a large trapezoidal desk eraser ( the type used in grammar school when we were kids ) takes its place and does probably a better job. Indeed, I found myself reloading these pencils with-out using the eraser on the top at all.

Finally, for their price and function, they can not be beat. If someone takes one or if it is lost, no big deal. Just take another out of the pack and continue on with what you were doing, with no loss or change in quality and density of letter.

Overall, these rate a '10' or 5 stars.

Honestly, why would anyone want to own or even use a pencil in these modern times? Everything is done digitally. Kids take notes in school on their laptops, not in their spiral notebooks (also outdated technology) and what with the vicious texting circles you hear about in the news these days kids don't even need pencils to write mean notes about their classmates, draw pictures of their teachers or send out those "Do you have a crush on Jeff Sterling?" notes. It's all done digitally now.

Maybe a crossword fan would use this but if you can't do it in pen you aren't that smart anyway and maybe should stick to the Sponge Bob* activity book, which utilizes crayons.

They're bad for the environment anyhow. All that lead?! Maybe in China that's acceptable but here in the US we have standards! Plus when I was a kid our number one fear was of getting lead poisoning from chewing on pencils. "Don't chew on that pencil you cretin" our parents would shout," or you'll end up in the hospital with lead poisoning just like the Johnson boy. AND HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!" Our second greatest fear, of course, was getting kidnapped and made into burgers by the Ronald McDonald, which is why our mom never let us go to McDonald's. The Trix Rabbit looked pretty shady and that Coco Puffs bird was pretty unstable looking too.

SO in closing don't buy pencils. They are bad for the environment, encourage kidnapping and could send you to the hospital with the Johnson boy, AND HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!! - Mechanical Pencil - Bic Mechanical Pencils - Pencil - Bic'
