Science Fiction Movies

If you like any special features at all do not buy this version. They are doing the same thing as Avatar. This release gets a full price but absolutely zero special features. Not so much as a trailer. They will be putting out deluxe versions toward the end of the year including a 3D combo pack, blu ray combo pack & dvd. ALL will be packed & you will kick yourself for having to buy this a second time. Many people don't care about features but if you do consider yourself forewarned. And it's not like they're giving you a cut on the price for a "movie only" release. Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

This version is being rushed out at the end of this month. Michael Bay has stated that a Bigger and Better 3D bluray version will be released later, with ALOT more extras than this edition. That version will be release on standard Blu as well, Looks like before the end of this year, just in time for the holidays.

While walking to the counter to PAY for this release, I turned it over to read what extras were included. NONE!!!!! Nothing!!!! I put it right back on the shelf. I am NOT paying full price for a bare-boned release! The greedy corporate thugs are counting on you to buy this, only to wave something a lot more enticing in front of your eyes when sales for this dwindle! Sick of these rip-off tactics!!! I have no sympathy for their loss of revenue from movie pirating! If they treated their customers with respect, perhaps the problem would not be so widespread!!!

Concerning BLU-RAY customers... DO NOT BUY THIS RELEASE. Warner Bros. have once again, screwed the fans/customers over... because they WILL release this in Blu-Ray 3D.... just like all their other past, and future, releases which had 3D Theatrical Releases.... but they'll wait until they feel enough non-3D versions have been sold (usually 3 to 6 months), before releasing a FULL/TRUE release of this movie.

--- THIS IS A PRODUCT REVIEW... NOT A MOVIE REVIEW ---

They've done this already with several other titles... and more are coming... like Harry Potter's finale for example... and there seems to be no end in sight to this nonsense.... so send them a message, and do not buy this INFERIOR release. Whether you already have 3D capability or not... it's just smarter business/financial sense, to buy the complete 3D COMBO-Pack when it's released... not only because it will only cost $2-$5 more than THIS release... but because it will LIKELY include a "Special 2-Disc (blu-ray) Edition", as they did with the previous 2 Transformers movies/releases (the 2nd disc being all or mostly all, HD bonus features, etc.).

=== This release not only does NOT contain 2 blu-ray discs (which means less special features &/or LESS HD QUALITY available if they tried to cram a lot of features onto just 1 disc, leaving less room for the highest possible quality-transfer of the movie)... but again, they don't even include the 3D version.... and if you think for one second, that they spent all that money churning out a 3D Theatrical Release, only to NOT release it in blu-ray 3D... well, you're a fool... and you should go ahead & buy THIS blu-ray/dvd combo-pack release, and stop reading.

I've rented this release from Netflix -- it arrives tomorrow -- I will rip it & hold on to my rip, until WB takes it's thumb out of it's collective behind, and releases this properly... just as I've done w/ all the other titles they've done this to. ___ Keep it up W.B., and I will stop seeing them in the Theater as well!

DOTM made it easy to forget 2009's ROTF. The "plot" was much improved, possibly because there was only ONE writer this time. Some of the best action sequences I have ever seen were in this movie. A great way to end the series, as well. If they made any more, I would hope it would be the military and Autobots working together to hunt down Decepticons, similar to how ROTF started out. Please take my advice: how good a movie is has nothing to do with the studio wanting to get consumers to buy the movie twice. If you disagree, then spam the studio with correspondence rather than deduct stars from your review. Try it this way next time: "DOTM was a fantastic action film, but I am disappointed the Blu-Ray release hardly has any extras. Otherwise, 5 STARS!!!!"

So I got home from work today and I asked my wife if she got the mail. She said she did and I got TF3 which I thought it was odd because it's suppose to come out tomorrow. Well lucky me, I have it a day early. I do have the Amazon Prime service which I shall now refer to the Amazon Optimus Prime service. And no I have not opened the case for fear the FBI are watching me. j/k

Booooo!Don't buy it because no special features are available but there will by by years end, so another clever studio scheme capitolizing on consumers! Yes, they probably factored per 1 million copies sold - 10 - 60 % will double dip generating a flow revenue for the impatient and believe me 90% of americans are IMPATIENT, so they know they have the rabbit by it's tail! Don't take the blue or red pill on this one!!! No rabbit holes running deep here, just peoples pockets that are succorred into buying the bare-boned Optimus...I hope this truly helps you out, seriously..

So there's this one part where the Autobots get in a ship to leave Earth at the demand of the Decepticons, to avoid a war. But as the ship is leaving, the Decepticons destroy it. Oh noes! The Decepticons destroy most of Chicago, killing a whole lot of people. But it turns out that the Autobots faked their death, they had never intended to leave! So all those deaths could have been prevented! They could have just fought the villains head-on! Wait...WTF?!*Ahem*...Okay, so Dark of the Moon is the best Michael Bay Transformers movie so far. The dialogue is a bit better; there's nothing like the mind-numbingly bad college scenes or the character Leo Spitz from Revenge of the Fallen. The acting is a bit better; instead of Megan Fox we have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's actually pretty okay (there's this one part where she says that Megatron is a certain other robot's biatch...to his face!), and Shaia Labeouf is over the top in a way that's kinda convincing and seems to make sense for the Sam Witwicky character. There are less shenanigans; the movie is focused on its plot, knows what it's about. The cinematography is good; I could actually understand what was happening in the action scenes and there were some pretty cool shots of the sundered world. The 3D is good; especially the parts with Shockwave. And Megan Fox isn't in it. So that's great and all, but here's a problem for you: I just didn't care. I mean I didn't care about anything that was going on in this movie. The Decepticons have yet another plan for world domination, and to beat them there's a lot of fighting to be done. Many Transformers die. But I didn't care about them, because they've never been able to develop personalities. Are you even keeping track of who these guys are? Starscream is never actually called by his name. Soundwave is in like, one scene. Say, was that Ratchet? I see grey parts flying in every direction, not the deaths of characters. One of the only Transformers I came to like was George Coe as Cue the Autobot scientist. The Human characters aren't any better, either. Some of the action sequences drag on and on. The falling skyscraper part comes to mind. Then there's the part where Sam fights Starscream. There's such an insane amount of flailing metal in that one, it's hard to believe that the squishy little Human is still alive. But there are sections with Shockwave and the tentacle thing and parts where Optimus is flying that were great. Combined with the 3D, it really felt like you were zooming through the air. By movie's end there has been so much destruction and so many Transformers have died that it's hard to see the series going on from here. The ending made me think "what was the point of all that?", as there's no set-up for a sequel. And nothing very special happend over the course of the film (like character development, closer to the series, etc.). Villains came, they saw, and they got their asses kicked. Yeah, it's hard to see the series going on, but it will. There's money to be made.

Wildlife Camera

I got this camera from a retail store. I got it because I know several people who have it and talk about how great it is. When I got my it was DOA. I returned it to the store and got another one in working condition. Worked great for two months and then went out. Change the batteries and nothing happened. I called Moultrie and they said that they would replace it. I sent mine in and never received a new one. I called to see if it was shipped yet and they said yes and gave me tracking information. When I entered it in, it didn't even leave the plant yet. Called them just to return my money. Don't recommend Moultrie. Moultrie Game Spy M-80

Camera works great. It is not the top of the line model but I knew what i was buying !

Easy to set up

great day pics ok night pic kind of blurry but that ok I do not hunt at night.

will be buy another if the price is right !

I have the Moultrie Camera, the Bear Case fits perfectly, the camera is awesome, really easy to set up, easy digital lock set up. Easy menu to follow, card access great, battery life is excellent, I am using the 8 litium batteries they suggest.Takes up to a 16 GB High Speed, class 4 card, fast pictures. I am buying another one, I see the price has come down. 5 star review

I have two of these now, one I have had for about 3 months, the other 2 weeks. So far no problems with either camera. Daytime pictures are very good. Much better than my old Moultrie cameras. I really like having the option for the Plot camera mode, also nice is the Hybrid mode of Plot cam by day, trail cam by night. Plot camera mode will drain the batteries quickly. Set to 1 picture a min, 8 rechargeable AA's will go about 10 days. They only show about 50% charged in the camera when fully charged, but that is probably expected. In normal trail camera mode I am still running on the same set of regular alkaline after 2 months. Battery life will not be a major concern with this camera in trail mode. I also, like how this camera has a strap that feed through the back. My old Moultrie just had little ears on the four corners on the camera to hook small bungie cord to, and after aging outdoors for a couple of years (all year), they had a tendency to break off. I paid $129 and it is worth that. The price is lower now, so even better. I would definatly reccomend this particular model, but I cannot say the same for some other Moultrie models like the D50. Each model must be evaluated on it's own.

I just bought a Moultrie M-80 last night and couldn't wait to get it set up and try it out. The set up was intuitive and easy enough, but at one point I let it time out (it shut off by itself) and I couldn't get it to come back on. I ended up have to remove the battery compartment and shift the batteries around. It came back on and still showed more than 200 days of battery life. I let it take a few pictures inside my home. It is absolutely silent (no shutter click) and the IR pictures are very good. After reading the reviews and having the issue I had last night, I'm going to give a week or two in the field to see how it performs. I'm excited about the features it offers and truly hope it works well. 3-star rating due to the out of the box issue as mentioned above. I will update this review after some field use.UPDATE 06OCT: Well, sadly my new camera appears to be a dud as well and will be returning to the store where I bought it. I put it out today (here at the house attached to my fence) to see how it would perform through a day or two of use and it didn't make it 3 hours. The batteries are new so it is definitely a problem with the camera. When I went to check on it, it had taken a few pics of me and my dogs moments after I put it out, but then it shut itself down (replicating the out of the box problem I had). I had to remove the battery box and reinsert it to get it to come back on. If Moultrie works out the bugs this will be a good little unit, but for now it is pretty much trash. I'll be going with a different brand as a replacement.

I bought this camera hoping to get a good one even though I had read some negative reviews. When I turned the camera on at home it worked fine and it took pictures. I took the camera to the woods, got the camera strapped to the tree and when I tried to turn it on it wouldn't work - then the strap broke. I returned it - bought another one. The second one never came on at all. I don't see why they still try to sell this camera. The only reason I give this camera 1 star is because you can't give it no stars. BAD PRODUCT!

The first thing that stood out when I opened the Moultrie was the poor ergonomics. It's as if the location of every control is completely non-intuitive. There are too many moving parts (the battery tray slides completely out!) and for some reason I have to turn it completely around looking for the same control every time I use it. I've never had this problem with Bushnells or Primos. More examples: the SD card hits the side of the case when it closes, and it won't sit flat on a table; none of the sides are flat, it just rolls around - annoying. Note that this is a person thing, for many people, this might not be an issue. It bugs me enough that I'd return it for that reason alone, however. The flash is very bright; it will distract game and makes it completely unusable for security purposes. There is a shutter click, but it is very quiet.I tried to load the application onto my macBook (which they claim runs on the mac), but the included SW is on a mini-CD which won't load in a mac CD slot. I tried to download a mac version, but simply couldn't find it on their website, or anywhere else. It simply shouldn't be that hard. The cable lock is just thin plastic, it provides no protection at allAnd, while there is molded relief in the plastic, it's just gloss black - for the price a camo color pattern should be included. Not many things in nature are pure glossy black, and to me it sticks out when mounted on trees.None of these are 'show stoppers,' but taken together, it's enough to have me return mine. And, remember, almost all of my complaints are situational and may not apply to you. For this kind of money, however, I'd take a look at the Bushnell.'

Cordless Impact Driver - cordless, 12v

I love this tool. There are so many great things and so few bad. Let's start with the great.

It's small. It has a nice weight to it. It has a quality build. It's both fast and powerful. It has a little LED on the front to illuminate your workarea. And of course it uses lithium batteries, which are far superior to the NiCd batteries you would get in 18v tools. That's the basics. I will delve more into this later. Now onto the bad.

The only bad thing about this drill is that there is no where to store your extra bits on the drill. Most larger drills have something for that. This one doesn't. Other than that, this tool is definitely louder than normal, non-impact drivers. But that's the price you pay for power.

I suppose the lack of a chuck is a negative. However, it's also a positive because it's far easier to switch bits using the bit-holder on this tool. But if you have legacy drill bits, you will need to either go get new drill bits that have a hex on the end, or you will need to buy the chuck attachment, which is probably a good idea anyway. Having a chuck vs having a hex bit-holder is really a matter of preference, so that's up to you.

This tool comes with few accessories. You get a hard plastic case with plenty of additional compartments for additional components. You get 2 batteries and a quality charger. A word about the charger... I was pleasantly surprised with the charger for this tool. Other drills I have owned give you a very generic charger. This tool comes with a charger that has some intelligence built-in as well as dual indicators that tell you what's going on with the charging. For example, it will blink when it notices the battery is too hot. It will then wait until it's the correct temperature to continue charging. This is a very nice feature that will prolong the life of your batteries (because they're expensive).

Other than those (mandatory) accessories, you get 2 bits -- a Philips head and a flat head. That's it.

As I said, this driver is both fast and powerful. It's fast enough to use it as a drill, and it's powerful enough to cause a screw to strip the wood you're screwing it into, so be careful. The impact mechanism is fantastic. It provides increased torque while also almost completely eliminating the possibility of cam-out (when the bit pops out of the screw and strips it a little bit). Compared to other drivers in its class, this one is much faster, and the impact mechanism gives it tremendous power.

The size and weight make it possible to hold the little guy under your armpit when not using it. Plus, the handle is very comfortable and the batteries are easily removed.

This really is a fantastic tool. I own a Skil 18v driver as well (paid $100 for it). That one uses NiCd batteries that need to constantly be on the charger (and cost $45 a piece). Those batteries have the worst shelf life. They will be dead by morning if you leave them there sitting overnight off the charger. Plus, they take 3-6 hours to charge. The batteries on this tool have excellent shelf life, excellent usage life and charge in 30 minutes. That's incredible. Plus, they have a 2 year warranty. Absolutely fantastic. I really couldn't ask for more.

Compared to other drivers in it's class, I have used a Rigid 12v lithium with a chuck and a Ryobi 12v with the bit-holder. Both of those were fine tools, but didn't compare in speed or power to this Milwaukee. But this Milwaukee is slightly more expensive probably do to the impact mechanism, which as far as I'm concerned is a must-have after having used this tool.

A note about the ~850lb torque specification. Another reviewer has complained that this is inaccurate. He is both right and wrong. Because this is an impact drill, whatever the device used to measure torque would probably register ~850lb maximum, but it comes in bursts. It's not constant because of the impact mechanism. I'm not exactly sure what the term for this phenomenon is in physics, but it has to do with friction. A still body must overcome some threshold of friction in order to begin moving. But a moving body experiences less friction. It's like when your tires spin out. So, when a screw binds up in the wood, much of the energy of the impact is lost overcoming the greater force of friction needed to begin the screw moving again. Because of that, the actual "effective torque" of this tool is probably lower than the ~850lb in the spec. But if the screw doesn't bind up, it will drive in like butter.

UPDATE: There was a free tool rebate offer that went along with this drill at the time I ordered it. It said 8-10 weeks for delivery. Well I received it within 2 weeks. That's very impressive for a rebate offer. Way to go Milwaukee! You guys are awesome.

Also, my dad, a professional contractor, is very impressed with the 12-volt impact driver as well. Milwaukee 2450-22 12-volt Impact Driver Kit

This is a very high quality tool with extremely good battery life. Good light suty tool, not as powerful as a 3/8" cordless impact, but very lighweight. Overall I use the tool everyday in the shop as a Volvo Technician and am satisfied with the performance and value.

Few things grind my gears like a negative review for a tool in which the reviewer describes using a tool INCORRECTLY ea: I read a review (or two) where the person descibes using this with a forstner bit & another with spade bits. This is a 12v impactor it's not meant for boring, nor is an 18V model, it is predominantly a "fastening" tool, not so much drilling, much less boring holes. Yes as an impactor it has high torque but only in short bursts when it's impacting, for boring, a "continuous" torque tool is in order (drill/driver, hammer drill, hole hawg etc) It's "beefy" heavy (that's a good thing). It has a built in, trigger activated battery gauge & LED light. Other 12v impact drivers have higher RPMs, advertise more torque, are more compact, have a better work light, but none combines all of those things like this tool. It's superiority is seen when tapping light metal, or smaller lags. Upgrade the battery to a Milwaukee "XC" M12 battery and the competition is toast. The kit: Tool, tough plastic case with plenty of space for glasses, gloves, bits & attachments, 2 standard M12 batteries + charger. As usual I have to mention the Milwaukee 5 year tool warranty. - Cordless - 12v - Impact Driver - Milwaukee'

Cell Phone Holder - android, mount

I purchased this for my Droid X. The X fits allowing access to the usb port for charging. The camera sits above the mount so you can use it to shoot video while driving. The only negative comment I have with this product is the vent mount. In both of my vehicles (Taurus and Siena), the clips really don't hold all that well allowing the whole mount to move with the additional weight of the Droid. Further, trying to use the phone requires holding it steady first. A quick and easy solution was to add a small piece of rubber tubing to each plastic clip. I picked this up at Ace for < .50. The vent mount is now rock solid, like the windshield mount.

I prefer the vent mount as the Droid X has an issue with heat. This keeps the phone out of the window and allows the AC to blow across it when on. Arkon Universal Windshield with Dashboard and Vent Mount for Smartphones and PDAs (Black)

With the large screen of the Evo, I finally ditched my Garmin, and I'm using my phone as a GPS. This mount is perfect for the phone. You can adjust the bottom supports so they don't get in the way of the charge port. Also, the side arms hold the phone securely without getting in the way of the volume rocker.

The build quality of this mount is very impressive for the price! The plastic feels solid, not flimsy, and the suction cup is stronger and larger than the one that came with my Garmin. I was concerned about this, as I didn't want to risk my new phone in something that wouldn't hold it right. But after trying it out, I'm very pleased with how snugly the mount grips the phone. It's not going anywhere.

I like this mount so much that I came back to order one for my other car (only to find that they're now back-ordered).

One thing -- the vent mount doesn't hold very tight on my car, so that I don't feel comfortable using it. Maybe it's my particular type of vent (it's an old, old car), or maybe I'm not installing it right. However, the windshield mount is excellent.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I use this product to hold my HTC Incredible to my vent mount while I use it as a GPS and Music Player (via FM Transmitter). Arms holds the Phone snugly so it will not move or fall out, the location of the charging cable and headphone jack are not interfered with by the mount. The vent mount swivels nicely to allow for a good viewing angle while attached to either the driver's side or passenger's side central vents of my cars.

I have not tried the windshield mount.

I guess my GPS vent mount is from the same company because the mounts are compatible and I now I don't have to detach the vent piece when swapping between using my car and my wife's car.

This mount works great for the iphone 4 and more than likley any smartphone or pda. It is very solid plastic. Can have it dash mounted and then change window mount any time you wish. Can turn phone to landscape view by just turning while in the mount. Doesnt bounce to much while driving. Very solid mount. Great purchase for me. Love it.

I haven't had much success with car mounts for either the HTC Hero or Droid Incredible, but the Arkon has been the best I've tried so far and is inexpensive compared to others. I've used it in both a Honda CR-V and Toyota Yaris.

Pros:

- The windshield clamp is secure and doesn't fall off, and the cradle also holds the phone safely.

- Inserting and removing the phone is very easy, which is important since you'll be doing that quite often!

- The mount is very flexible, and can be set in a wide range of positions (it can also hold the phone either vertically or horizontally).

- It's very simple to install, though be aware that there's only one windshield adhesive so you can't use the windshield mount in more than one car.

- The vent mount works flawlessly in the CR-V, and seems most suited to vents with thin plastic bars that are fixed.

Cons:

- Conversely, the vent mount doesn't work in every vehicle. It won't fit on any vent in the Yaris at all.

- The windshield clamp can be tricky to attach (you have to make sure you create enough of a vacuum).

Overall, so far so good - I can finally use my phone as a navigation unit while it's charging in the car. Note that there are no power cables or FM transmitters included.

I was extremely surprised at the quality of this product when it arrived today. It is made out of quality material and all the accessories are well made. This unit is completely adjustable and functions well. It is compatible with the Droid Incredible. The housing does not block the charge or audio ports and it will hold the phone in landscape position. Great product and great buy.

This mount is perfect for the sprint evo 4g. It fits phone with all ports exposed. The mount is of high quality and works just as advertised. The window suction is very strong with plenty of mounting angle options. If you have horizontal air vents I am sure that mount would work fine but I do not so I did not try the air vent mount. I have a seidio active case and have plenty of room left in the mounts mega grip system.

I have used the product for a month now. Both the windshield and dashboard mount work exactly as they should, securely holding my phone (HTC Incredible) for navigation and multimedia purposes. I would recommend this product!

I bought two of these for the two cars that I have. I first tried the vent mount. It seems easy to install it on the vent. But I did not like that it blocked part of the vent and also was not completely stable.

I use the windshield and the dash mounts now on both cars. Holds my Samsung Captivate phone secure and stays on the dash or vent. I was able to rotate the mount in all kind of ways, until I secured it the way I want. - Mount - Android - Cell Phone Holder - Dash Mount'
