Glowsticks

This was a very great way to make our talent show memorable.

A group of me and my friends wore all black and taped this glowsticks to our bodies making us look like stick figures.

Some of these broke when we snapped them, but most were very durable and lasted LONG!

BLUE, PURPLE, and ORANGE DO NOT GLOW BRIGHT. GREEN, YELLOW, AND PINK ARE THE BRIGHTEST!!! 8" Lumistick Brand Glowsticks Light Stick Bracelets Mixed Colors (300 bracelets)

I got hammered drunk and threw about 1000 of these around a local club.

Best night ever, I could dance with anyone because I was no longer "that random guy", I was the glow stick guy.

People bought me drinks. Done.

Best investment ever.

I purchased these glow sticks to wear to concerts that I attend with large groups of friends. It's a way to find everyone at the event. Our first show was last night. We activated our bracelets about 7pm (1 hour before show-time). We each wore 2 sticks connected as bracelets and out of the 8 bracelets, only 2 were still glowing after the show was over at 9:30pm. Had extra bracelets in my bag and we each put 2 more on...those were out by 11pm. I'm very disappointed to say that the least. The 8-12 hour claim in the description is nowhere close to the reality. Also, when my mom cracked on of her sticks, the stuff oozed out all over her hands. That glowed pretty nice until she washed it off. I also found that some of the sticks were glowing in spots before we even activated them and most had empty areas even after shaking. I guess why they were so reasonably priced...I kind of feel like they are a defective product. Bummer.

I bought this product Junior Year of High School to wear at a high school dance. I threw a small pre-dance party at my house and placed 10 bracelets in each goodie bag for my guests.

Before going to the dance I covered both my arms with bracelets. I also connected them to make necklaces. Looked awesome. Wore them with my Platform Dolly shoes and plaid skirt.

Product is great for raves, dances, nights out,Sleep overs, and Halloween. Any night occasion with friends...except for movie theaters. People get really angry if you are wearing these at the movie theater.

Also great way to keep track of where your friends are. Could also be used for night time games that require teams.

When I received the tubes of glowsticks about 1/4 of them did not glow. Also there were not enough connectors to connect all of the bracelets. They also did not last very long or glow very brightly but served their purpose for a few good hours of fun.

I have purchased these over the years and I basically am satisfied with the glow sticks. But this time many more broke when snapped and leaked the fluid on the kids. There were only 75 connectors in each tube rather than 100. And the orange glowed so dim that you really couldn't see it, so 20% of the bracelets were worthless. The fluid wasn't distributed evenly inside the bracelets so there were gaps between the areas that did glow. But the price is cheap enough that we just purchased extra to make up for all the defective ones.'

Cordless Lawn Tools - chain saw, ccs818

This is a nice small branch trimmer. Its downfall is the chain oil is gravity feed onto the chain and leaks consistently. Wherever you store the chainsaw will get oil underneath. I'd give it 5 stars if they fixed that issue. I'm still pleased with the purchase and have learned to deal with the oil problem by simply carrying a small squirt bottle of oil and adding it directly to the chain, bypassing the leaky oil chamber. Black & Decker CCS818 18-Volt Cordless Electric Chain Saw

I was tired of reving up my heavy 20 inch gas chain saw for occasional jobs around the property. This saw is light and convenient for work in tight locations like brush clearing.

It arrived promptly from Amazon. It I appears to be well designed and worked fine after charging the included 18 volt battery. Although product specs do not mention it, the package includes a charger for the battery.

I have not used the product long enough to determine how long the battery holds its charge. But, on a fresh charge it successfully cut through everything that I have tried it on .. soft wood and hard wood.

This saw will fell and buck two average trees 5-7" at the base before the battery pack runs down. I would be inclined to lop manually for small trees like these, so that the battery will last a bit longer, and safety is a bit higher.

4 stars since the convenience of use could be improved (would be nice to have a hook or Velcro(r) loop for the scabbard rather than have to keep track of it on the ground, and some kind of retention method for the battery prong cover so that the cover doesn't wander about and get lost). It would also have been nice if B&D included a little bottle of the non-toxic chain lube like the Alligator Loppers come with, so the user doesn't immediately have to go out buying chain oil before using the saw.

Very lightweight and easy to handle, no fumes and minimal kickback. Great value for the price.

I bought an electric chain saw so that I could saw my own wood to heat our house, and also for my wood cook stove. Due to arthritic shoulder, elbow and wrist I have great difficulty getting the gas chain saw started. So I recently bought a Black & Decker battery operated chain saw, it starts with the push of a button, is very light and easy to handle and does a great job cutting even hard wood. I purchased an extra battery and with both batteries I am able to cut enough firewood to last about four days.

I bought this saw to clear my backyard that the previous owners had let go and it's a small jungle back there. Saw arrived today in time for weekend testing and I was surprised just how tiny it turned out to be. I own other B&D 18v tools so no waiting for the battery to charge. I used it for about 45 min to cut down dead trees in the very back along with some sprouting Oak trees. I was thinking it would cut slower than gas but this thing has really good torque. You should clean it and adjust the chain when finished which I did tonight and found it only took about 5 min and was very easy. The battery still has juice and I will see how long it holds out tomorrow before I have to switch to another battery. Speaking of which, I have seen comments on the price of battery's and the need for additional packs to complete the job. Here is how I play it and this system works for me:

1) I buy packages, never the batteries by themselves. Sometimes you get a free tool just for the price of 1 battery. Walmart had 2 batts and a cordless drill for 39.95 awhile back. The drill was not the one with the high torque (which I also just bought) but for the price it was worth it to get the batteries. Everyone runs sales..just look for them.

2) As you get more tools and batteries you get chargers as well. The lawn care center comes with a nice 3 place charger but it is slow. You should buy the quick charger for sure. It was about 20 bucks but I think it has gone up a bit. It is a peak charger and because of this, it seems to do a better job of topping off the batteries than the slow chargers. It comes in handy when I know I am running low on spare packs.

3) Take care of your batteries so they will last. I keep mine on a kitchen shelf all in a row and the freshly charged battery goes to the back of the line. That way a battery is not used over and over and they all get a break in between use. Labels work well too. Tools are fine for the garage, utility but keep the batts themselves inside so they don't get too hot or cold. Always let a empty pack cool down before you recharge. As of today I am up to 8 packs which sounds like a lot but I have gone through 5 packs on my front yard about 2 weeks ago.

The B&D chain saw does the job it is designed to do without fuss. Although the product info doesn't mention it, the package includes a battery charger but if you intend to use it much you are advised to go ahead and purchase another battery (or two) as well as the optional rapid charger.

It is important to note that the chain seems to stretch a bit faster than the chain on a gas saw so periodic tension checks the first few hours of use is really important.

If you need a light-duty chain saw (to use around the property, not out in the woods by professionals) then buy this! It's beyond useful and is nicer in-person than what it looks like on the web.

I trimmed our 20+ yr old maple tree like it was child's play. No cords, no gas to store, no problems. I trimmed that tree and several other bushes in the yard, and have yet to recharge the battery for it even once.

One recommendation however: make sure you have some SAE 30W motor oil handy. There's a built-in reservoir for such a lubricant (to oil the chain to extend its life).

This saw is solid and it performs. If you're a lumberjack, buy a gas-powered one instead. Otherwise get this one! - Ccs818 - Chain Saw - Black And Decker - 18 Volt'

Cassette Adapter

This is a replacement for a unit that was stolen when my car was in the shop for repairs (who would have thought anyone would want that?). The price is very good, but after trying it out I think it is too expensive at 50 cents.

It worked the first time, after jiggling the plug around in my player, and the next time it would not work. After fiddling with it and inserting and removing the plug a few times, I can get it to work intermittently if I find the exact sweet spot where the plug connects. But if I look at it too hard or breathe on it it tends to lose the connection. Don't waste your time. Free is even too much money for this piece of junk. My old unit had none of these issues. Not even worth half a star rating. Car Cassette Adapter For Apple iPod

These are completely worthless. I can't even say "I got what I paid for". I bought 2 of these and neither work. Bargaincell was quick to send 1 replacement of the two I ordered, but it didn't work either. Just a waste of time, and a lot of aggravation.. :('

Superhero Novel - gay fantasy, mmromance

I have been waiting a long time for comics to be available on the Kindle. I thought it was a natural. But there is a big problem. Each page should take up one Kindle "page" or else you have to scroll around to read each page. This comic book does print one page per "page." But when you print the entire page, the text is too small. You can read it...but it is an effort, and comics are not supposed to be an effort. It is a shame. Maybe I need an I-pad. Or x-ray vision. or maybe they should just print silent comics like "Henry" and "Little Louis," if you are old enough to remember them. Oh, well, time to die, old man, time to die. America's Greatest Comics Issue #1

Perfect for fans of a more innocent black and white viewpoint age of comics. Contains several stories featuring several of comics early years, with cheesy advertisements to boot. The text is small but still very readable on the latest Kindle model. - Gay Fantasy - Manga - Mmromance - Erotic Romance'

Motion Control - chargers, motion control

This is a must have if you are playing with the PS3 Move a lot. It saves you from having to leave the PS3 on while charging the Move controller and/or the move navigator. This unit will charge either the controller or the navigator. I have put both of my move controllers in the unit at the same time and both are fully charged. So unlike the picture on the package, you CAN put two move controllers (the one with the bulb on top) into this unit and both move controllers will charge fully. Thanks. PlayStation Move Charging Station

Now that I had gotten the PS3 Move motion controller and navigation controller the only problem I had was when the power died out on these two, and while you can charge them through the usb port via the PS3 console I found that a little aggravating since if I'm not playing any games why should I have the PS3 on just to charge these two controllers. Now with this separate charge station for the motion/navigation controller that problem is solved, you can charge either the motion/navigation controllers or two motion controllers since they hook via the usb ports on the controllers and since their for the most part cylindrical there's no difference in their over all shape for any problems with the charge station. The charge is very well done giving a strong connection between the charge station and controllers so there is no worry of not getting a fully charged controller when it's over, and yes while there are more charge stations coming out in the next month or so for $30.00 dollars and to keep you mind at ease I feel most people will find this a very good item to have for their PS3 move gaming console for now...

I was in the market for a dock that would allow me to charge my PlayStation Move controller(s) without needing to use a USB cable. The main reason for this is that I'm not a big fan of leaving my PlayStation 3 on or charging this via a laptop or cable box. After checking out several docks, I decided to go with the one created by Sony. I realize other docks charge more controllers at once, but in my opinion, nothing beats out a first party accessory. This item doesn't overcharge the controllers at all and allows me to use my Move controllers whenever I want without worrying about the battery. I would recommend this to anyone whom is considering a dock for their Move controllers.

charges move controllers in about 4 hrs, navigation controllers in about 2.5 hrs. Light on controller blinks while charging, goes off once charging is done, can leave controllers on charger even when done charging. Unlike some other third party dumb chargers I've read about, where you are supposed to remove the controllers when done, from getting overcharged.

Pros:

Smart charger

Small foot print

Uses two charging contact points, that touches the bottom of the controller, makes seating the controller onto the charger easy. Unlike most third party chargers, which uses a USB plug.

Cons:

No USB port, Sony could've included at least one port for charging the dualshock controller

The pictures do not do the product justice IMO. The Move Charging Station has a black gloss finish on the top with a flat black base that matches the phat PS3. The charger looks and feels like very high quality. The price is fair considering the $20 move chargers are a lot cheaper looking and most likely are. Not much to say about a charger. If $30 does not seem overpriced considering the competition I would reccomend it.

Bought this to go with the PS3 Move & Navigation controllers since I didn't see the need to have my PS3 powered on just to charge the controllers. It came in handy for doing its intended job and provided a much faster charge than via USB.

There are other charging docks which would be available before the holiday season and those would be recommended due to the fact that they allow for more than two controllers to be charged at the same time that a given if you have more than one controller to go with your PS3 Move.

I'm going to try and avoid saying what's already been said elsewhere and instead focus on why you should get this charger specifically and not some other charger. Well, those third party chargers you've probably been looking at may be cheaper and they may have more slots, but there are downsides to them. Many of them use mini-USB connections, which might be a concern if you're worried about wearing those ports out. The Sony charger, on the other hand, connects directly to copper contacts on the bottom of your Move controller and uses those to charge them instead.

Also, those other chargers might have more ports, but many of them can only accommodate either the Move controller or the Navigation controller, and not both. This charger's ports can accept either controller type. Finally, there's the issue of third party peripherals in general. If you have as much experience with them as I do, then you know better than to trust them to do as good a job as the first party stuff.

Just got this charger for my two motion controllers. I picked this over some other third party chargers mainly because it uses the metal contact at the bottom of the controller for charging, instead of the mini USB port. It's very easy to drop the controller into the slot, and you don't have to use much force to put it in or take it out of the charger. This is much easier to use than chargers with a USB plug, and there are no risks of damaging the controller USB port.

The charger itself is elegant and simple and sits by my TV on the TV stand. There are no gimmicky, bright lights to distract me while I am watching TV (this is another reason I picked this over the other chargers). A small light at the lower end of the controller flashes to indicate charging, but you won't see the light unless you get up close because the light sits slightly below the slot on the charger. The charging automatically stops once the controller is fully charged, so you can leave them on the charger without damaging the batteries.

I would probably buy another charger once I get two more controllers. In my opinion, the easy of use and no risks for damage are more important than having 4-ports on a single charger. - Motion Control - Sony - Chargers - Playstation 3'

Corded Rotary Tools

I haven't used this on any projects yet, but it does seem promising. It has a rigid feel to it and the price is ideal. I haven't used a Dremel brand rotary tool so I can't really compare.

The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the collet nut is pretty hard to loosen once it's tightened. However, I found that putting the wrench against one of the fan blades made it easier to loosen. Probably not a good thing to do, but it does work.

Update 10/14/2008: I have used this on several projects now and it has held up very well. Cuts, grinds, and sands plastic and metal with no problems. The cut-off wheels included are not that great, but you can always get reinforced replacements. Also, make sure to let off on the material you are cutting, grinding, or sanding from time to time so that the cut-off wheels or sanding bands can cool off. Otherwise, the cut-off wheels are more prone to shatter or burn the material when it gets too hot from the friction. If you think you need a rotary tool to get a job done, this will do it and then some. In my initial review I stated that I had problems with the collet nut, but after using it I found it was my own fault. I did not have the locking safety mechanism engaged all the way so I had problems getting the collet nut off. Just make sure the safety is engaged all the way and tap the collet when it is loosened to get the attachment off and you will be golden. I am happy that I bought this for about half as much of a Dremel brand rotary tool. If I could change my rating, I would now give it 5 stars.

Amazon doesn't include a list of the accessories, but it's not their fault. It doesn't even say on the box itself. For those wondering what this comes with:

Rotary Tool - 1

Carrying Case - 1

Woodworking Clamps - 2

Wrench/Flathead Screwdriver - 1

1/8" Standard Mandrel - 1

Sanding Drum Mandrel - 1

Rubber Polishing Wheel (Coarse) (Brown) - 1

Aluminum Oxide Stone Bullet (Brick) (For Grinding) - 1

Diamond Point (For Engraving) - 1

Heavy Duty Cut-Off Discs - 20

Sanding Band (Coarse) - 3

Sanding Band (Fine) - 2 Black & Decker RTX-6 2 Amp 3-Speed Rotary Tool with 30 Accessories and 2 Spring Clamps

First off, I had a hard time getting this question answered when I was looking at rotary tools, so I'll say it right now: ALL DREMEL ACCESSORIES ARE USABLE BY THIS ROTARY TOOL. To someone who's used a rotary tool before I'm sure this is a logical statement, but to someone new to the devices (as I was), it can be confusing. I thought there might be some notch or something in Dremel accessories that made them only usable by Dremel rotary tools, but there isn't. They're all the same.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I just got my RTX a couple of weeks ago, and thus far I'm very impressed by it. It looks and feels substantial and sturdy, and fits very nicely in your hand as you work with it. Though I'd have preferred to see fully adjustable speed settings on this tool, the three speed settings seem to allow more than enough versatility in power to handle any project you throw at it. Mine came with a nice, simple case that's about the same size as a 2 cd tall cd book, which I greatly prefer to the extremely large plastic case that most Dremel tools come in.

My only complaints from this unit are that it doesn't come with a very impressive array of bits/accessories (I bought a 150 piece Dremel accessory kit to supplement it), and I've had some difficulty with the locking mechanism that allows for you to switch accessories getting stuck. It's always loosened up after a little persistent encouragement, but it's still a decent sized annoyance when it happens.

I've used a 300 series Dremel regularly in the past, so I feel that I can safely say that from what I have seen from this tool thus far, the Black and Decker RTX is just as capable a tool as the Dremel, perhaps more so (when you take into account the RTX's superior power). That said, it should probably be noted that the RTX hasn't been around for nearly as long as the Dremel brand, so it's durability over time has yet to be tested.

I've got to wonder why someone would pay 2 or 3 times the price of the RTX to get a Dremel... I suppose name recognition has a lot to do with it, after all people do refer to these things as "Dremel tools" not "Black and Decker tools", but that doesn't seem like a very wise way to make purchases. Puffs facial tissue works just as well as Kleenex, generic cotton swabs work just as well as Q-tips, and the RTX works just as well as a Dremel tool, so why pay the premium price?

If you're looking for the most bang for your rotary tool buck, this is the one you want to go with, hands down.

Bought one as the Dremel was selling for more $$ and I only needed a rotary tool for a very small home project. Having used a dremel brand before, I was cautious about not overheating the unit by having it bog down on tasks. Well that wasn't a problem with the RTX. Didn't realize that it had more motor juice than Dremel until using it. Lots more torque makes it easier to control. Good value.

Edit: Recently purchased the little jigsaw attachment sold by Dremel. I was told this unit really taxes the power out of a dremel unit due to its gearing system and application (i.e. dremel never designed for this type of task). Well the unit fit perfectly on the B&D and the power really shines with this attachement -- I can slice through wood like butter without any bogging down of the unit. Incredible.

I own a professional model shop, and although we occasionally use a Foredom (this is a motor with a cabled handpiece--very powerful, and with a foot pedal speed control, quite easy to use, except for the darn cable) we mainly use Dremel "rotary tools." I've gotten used to them lasting less than a year. They are not in constant use--a week may go by when none are used, but we have several because all of a sudden three people may need to drill tiny holes, or use small burrs, or?

One of my employees came in with this B&D and I was impressed. I ordered one for our shop, and now there are three. It's been less than 6 months, so I'm not sure about longevity, but the oldest still seems solid. There is no external brush replacement like there is on the better Dremels, but I don't know if this is an issue, as generally, the Dremels were dying before the brushes were worn down to replacement status. One of the problems with the Dremel design is the location of the cooling vents--it's hard to hold the Dremel comfortably and not block many of the vents, so the tool overheats.

The B&D is better in this regard, though still not perfect. Balance is good, certainly on par with the top Dremels. Power seems similar. The speed control may be a bit less specific (although there are intermediate settings between the three marked speeds, so this is actually better than expected. Quieter than the Dremels, seems to run a bit smoother. I like the lever lock for the collet change quite a bit too.

Overall, I am very please with these roto tools. Especally at about half the Dremel cost, they are a definite best buy.'

Daniella Chace - smoothie recipes, juicing

I've had this book for about 2-3 weeks now and I've made a handful of good smoothies from this book and the rest of the recipes sound great...but I'd need to own a smoothie shop to be able to make half of these recipes. All of the recipes use different ingredients and the ones I want to try the most include several powders so I'd have to go out and buy dozens of different powders and juices for this book to be useful to me.

I was hoping this book wouldn't have a lot of fancy ingredients. More Smoothies for Life: Satisfy, Energize, and Heal Your Body

I love this book! I was looking for a recipe book that would give me good ideas for making delicious drinks, and this book takes it one step further...these fantastic smoothies are actually GOOD for you! What a great way to combine good health and good taste. Thank you Daniella Chace!

I am really enjoying this book. The author has done a really nice job explaning the cause of common ailments and then gives recipes that incorporates ingredients to help protect against them. The chapters make it simple to refer to the areas that I personally want to focus on and I appreciate the fact that the information is coming from a practicing nutritionist.More Smoothies for Life: Satisfy, Energize, and Heal Your Body

I got what I expect when buying this book. I like the organize of the book. However, I feel like it misses something (maybe it is my fault). I am new for the smoothie kind. Therefore, I am not familiar with the ingredients to make a smoothie drink. The book does not have figures or details of the ingredients, so I am not sure what they look like or where I can buy them. But overall, I enjoy the book.

I APPRECIATE AN AUTHOR OF A DIET/NUTRITION BOOK/MANUAL TAKING THE TIME DOING THE RESEARCH, AND LETTING US KNOW WHAT WE ARE REALLY PUTTING IN OUR BODIES. I LIKE KNOWING WHAT GRADE OF FUEL I AM POWERING UP WITH. I.E.WHAT LECITHIN GRANULES ARE GOING TO DO FOR ME. WELL WRITTEN, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, AND MANY GREAT SUGGESTIONS.

I am loving this book! I recently lost 30 pounds just by cutting a lot of junk out of my diet. Traditionally, I have not been the healthiest eater, and I have been wanting to make a real change in my diet. One of my problems is that I don't like the textures of many fruits, but I like their flavors. Smoothies are a great solution for me because I am ingesting the fruits (and other healthy ingredients) in tasty drinks. Did I already have things like flaxseed oil or nutritional yeast on hand in my kitchen? No. However, in an effort to eat healthier, I have no problem purchasing these ingredients to accomplish this goal. A little bit of an investment up-front will pay off in the long-run. Plus, the ingredients tend to last a while, so I don't have to constantly stock up.

The best thing about this book is that the author (a nutritionist) explains the health benefits of the different smoothies and their ingredients. The book is separated into sections based on things like burning fat, building muscle, increasing libido, etc. Nutrition facts are included for each recipe, so you will know how many calories are being ingested per serving in addition to vitamins, protein, fat, etc.

I'd recommend this book to anyone wanting to embrace a healthier way of life.

The recipes are not only good in taste but the author goes a step further by adding in all of the nutritional benefits of the different fruits and vitamins. If you are interested in more than just great taste but in the benefits of what to add for your health....This is the book for you!

I have the same problem with this one as I do with her first smoothie book. Every recipe calls for about 4 servings of fruit. Where is the balance between fat/carbs/protein?? I'm a big fan of breakfast smoothies, but I make sure that it always has around 25-35 grams of protein in it. Some of these recipes call for adding a scoop of protein powder into the mix, which will get you to that 25-35 grams, however just about every smoothie calls for so much fruit, that your carb count is upwards of 100-120 grams of carbs...in one meal!! Holy crap. You don't need all 5 servings of fruit a day in one serving. The sugar rush that I would get if my breakfast had upwards of 100 grams of carbs would be absurd.

I'm a green smoothie guy, and this is not really a green smoothie book, so it gets minimal use, but of the stuff I have used, it is good. Introduced me to some good additives such as nutritional yeast. Only true complaint is low consistency smoothie to smoothie so you would need a huge amount of ingredients to make different recipes on different days. - Juicing - Delicious Drinks - Smoothie Recipes - Smoothies'

Ipod Touch - ipod touch, mirror

The screen protectors included in this pack really do work as advertised -- they turn your iPod Touch into a mirror. You can see very clearly in the mirror, and there are no odd visual effects when using the protector as a mirror. The screen protector fits very well, and holds onto your screen just fine. It also seems to be quite durable -- I have few noticeable rough spots on the screen.

The problem with these screens is that they cause pretty heavy discoloration of the screen if you look straight at it. You'll see plenty of hues of green, orange, and red. You'll also want to turn up the brightness on your ipod. The protector noticeably darkens your screen. My flashlight app doesn't work as well as it used to.

Overall, I like these mirrored protectors, but I'll probably get a plain old clear protector next time. Yeah, it's a cool novelty, but I'd rather save on battery life and see my screen clearly. 3-Pack Premium Reusable LCD Mirror Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth for Apple iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8GB 16GB 32GB

I ordered these things a week ago, and I got them in 3 days. Once I put them on my iPod, I noticed that they felt smoother than any other screen protector I have used. Also, the mirror looks great, but the is a little problem with glare if any light is reflected by it. Other than the relectiveness, these screen protectors are great, and the price is even better

The screen protectors came in around 4 days, really fast! Having 3 was great for when people saw mine and wanted one of their own. I gave one away and I have the other stowed away fro when i need it. The on i put on my ipod works great and wasn't hard to get on, but i am pretty good at that, either way you should not have too much of a problem.

Pros: Works great as mirror, Easy to see through when screen is on, Gives ipod touch style.

Cons: Scratches easily(not the actual screen but the screen protector), May be hard to see through in sunlight, Easily gets smudged

Overall I'd say the good outweigh the bad for me. I recommend the mirror screen protectors!

These screen protectors are really sharp!! I have had several people ask me about it. When the device is off, it looks like a mirror or stainless steel covering. But when you click the button, the display projects right through.

There are a couple of downsides to this product none of which are deal breakers for me though.

First, they are a bit tricky to apply. I messed up on my first try and had to throw that one away and use a second one. My second attempt was successful with the exception of a one small bubble. The bubble is not noticable at all because when the device is off, all you see is a mirror. And when you turn it on, the display conceals the bubble.

Second, the mirror finish atracts ALOT of smudge marks and fingerprints. I haven't scratched it yet but I'd assume that any scratches would be very visable. So I end up wiping it down frequently.

Othere than those issues, this is a real nice product. And like I said, neither of those issues were deal breakers for me. Because the price is soooooo low, I already ordered four more packs!

Oh I almost forgot, the shipping is pretty slow. I don't remember how long exactly, but it was well over a week.

Pros: ITS AWESOME! AMAZING! SUPER MIRROR. almost gotten my itouch taken away in class, i said it was a mirror and was using it for a mirror and turned off the screen, he saw it and gave it back to me. also a + for me is that the itouch looks 3d now... awesome!!!! oh and its super strong and its like a armor for my itouch screen. theres no way i can scratch it. i would give 7/5

cons: hard to see during day time, have to turn up the brightness on itouch. Kills battery cause of that fact.

i honestly would have payed 15$ for this. after trying i would pay 25$ but for 2$ for 3 i almost pee'd myself :)

These are cheap and great protectors for your ipod. They do however make the screen very dark! I have my settings on low brightness and i had to turn it up all the way to about 2/3's just so that i was able to see. That is why i gave it a low rating other than that its really cool how they reflect and double as a mirror.

The screen is very reflective, which is nice, but if you try and use your ituch in the sun you can hardly see anything. Also the material scratches easy, but hey, for the price I could replace the screen every week. Oh, one more thing. If you are wearing polarized sunglasses you won't be able to see the screen at all if your Ituch is upright, but if you turn it side ways the polaritys cancel out and you loose all reflection, which means you can see the screen fine. - Ipod Accessories - Mirror - Ipod - Ipod Touch'

I am so pleased with the items that I ordered and with the sf planet's shipping of the product. I lost my original usb plug for my sandisk sansa and I still wanted to use it for my car, home stereo, and exercising. I was impressed with the price (the shipping took about five days but I wasn't in a rush), the packaging was small, neat, and well done. I took the parts out and tried them and they all worked fine. I am happy and I will be ordering more things.2-Piece Value Combo Pack Of Brand New Home Wall Travel Plug in Ac Charger + Vehicle Cigarette Lighter Power Car Charger with IC Chip For SanDisk SansaUSB Cable for Sandisk Sansa Wall+Car Charger for Sansa E200

I have a sansa c240 mp3 player. I had been having the worst time charging it with the USB cable. I am glad that this charger was offered. I got it yesterday, plugged it into the mp3 player and then the outlet, let it charge for a couple of hours and I was good to go. As a bonus you get the car charger. - Mp3 Accessories - Accessories - Charger - Fuze'

Netflix Streaming - streaming video, blu-ray disc players

It surprises me how many negative reviews I read about Blu Ray players in general that have nothing to do with the player, but has everything to do with the person's lack of knowledge about electronics. While researching for a Blu Ray player for my parents, I came across a guy who gave a player a negative review because the player's box didn't tell him that the cable modem that he was using wasn't capable of supporting two Ethernet connected devices and that he would need a router for the player and his home computer to be hooked to the internet at the same time. It is not the Blu Ray manufactures job to inform the customer of basic facts. That would be like getting mad a car dealership for not telling a customer that the automobile needs gasoline to work correctly.

The next one that drives me crazy is when people complain about firmware updates. Wake up people. Your player is a dumbed down computer that is made especially for videos and will need updates from time to time. Do you get mad at Microsoft every time your home computer gets updates? No, you don't. It may be annoying, but you do it anyways because you know it will make your computer run better. Also, whining about needing an update right out of the box is plain stupid. In fact, it makes me feel more secure about my purchase. It lets me know that the manufacturer is still working to make my device better even after they have my money. And it lets me know that if any new apps are released, my player may be able to handle them and, once again, make my home theater experience better.

The Samsung BD-D5700 was purchased because of the Built-in WiFi (I really have no idea why they even make WiFi Ready Players). I researched and compared all of the mid-priced Blu Ray players with Built-in WiFi and it came down to either a Samsung or Sony. I wanted the Hulu Plus App and these were the only two with that option. Both the Samsung and Sony models had decent reviews but each had a few negative aspects. The Samsungs had a slow load time reviews (time it takes to power up the player and play a movie) and the Sony models apparently had some spotty WiFi video steaming (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube). This player was going to be used at my parents on an N wireless router, so the Sonys were out. But a few weeks later I ended up buying a Sony that I hooked up to a hard line in my own house. Both work amazingly and have not had a single issue. But then I knew what situation each was going to be used for and planned ahead. And just so this review is complete, the Samsung does not load as fast as the Sony, but it is nowhere near the wait time as the earlier Blu Ray players. Samsung BD-D5700 Blu-ray Disc Player (Black)

I haven't much to add to the recent decent reviews for this product. I'll give you my $0.02 and let you decide whether or not it helps.

I bought this after the death of my beloved LG BD390 whose ability to recognize any and all disc both puzzled and frustrated me. What I loved about that player was its ability to play almost anything I burned to disc and the added convenience of Netflix streaming. What I didn't like, even when it was working, was main menu structure and the lack of sorting/searching for the Netflix app.

So flash forward to March of this year when I lost the ability to play any discs and was left with a device that could only stream Netflix (although a bad interface) and computer content (which was the spotty dnla) and I'm ready to research the purchase of something that will hopefully last longer and be more of what I want in an all around player.

With the expansion of online content I was hoping to find a player that was essentially a Roku box with the ability of playing blu-ray discs...and be able to play a host of other video filetypes (divx, avi, mp4, mkv etc) from streaming and from files burned to a data disc. I know that was a lot to ask, but I was hoping that this year's LG offering would be the ticket. After reading reviews here on Amazon and elsewhere, I see that LG is having difficulty implementing their online content (i.e. hulu plus etc. not coming online--something I was looking forward to adding since I don't subscribe to cable) and factoring in my 1.5 year short-lived player, I wasn't too happy to jump back on the bandwagon. So I turned toward Sony and Samsung (my TV is a Sammy and the Anynet feature was icing on the deciding-factor-cake). Sony has a good reputation and feature set (Netflix, Hulu+, dnla, etc.) however, they have limitations on what filetypes are compatibile with the player (for me, this was important since I have hundreds of compressed video for my kids that we use on the TV and portable devices).

So, stacking up the feature lists, this player was ahead...stacking up the reviews, I should wait until 2012 to buy a player. Well, I'm somewhat impatient and decided to give Samsung the benefit of doubt.

It's been a month, and so far so good. The online content does take some time to access. However, it works...just be patient; the dedicated Netflix button works well. I currently have Hulu+, Vudu, Youtube, Vimeo, Netflix, Picaso, Pandora, et al. all working fine with no problems with the high definition content. And having them all work, albeit slower interface than any computer, is better then having a faster interface with none or only a few of them working. Plus, the Netflix interface lets you search and see new arrivals! I find that I really like the Hulu+ interface and find myself using that service more and more. I do hope that Amazon VOD becomes available, but currently have enough to keep me occupied for the forseeable future.

Well, I won't be purchasing the Roku & Blu-ray combo. I don't need to. Wait, what about discs you say; afterall this is a blu-ray player: Blu-ray looks fantastic (I only wish one could skip all the ads from the Netflix discs), all content streaming or otherwise has worked (mkv, divx, etc.) and my kids are happy about that. I'll update this review if things change. - Streaming Video - Blu-ray - Blu-ray Player - Blu-ray Disc Players'

Kenneth Cole Reaction Belts

This is a really nice high quality belt. I am more impressed with this line then I have been with some of the other name brands. You just really can't go wrong with Carhartt. Great for working as it seems to be more of a heavy duty type style. Carhartt Men's Journeyman Belt,Black,34

Size appears to be accurate. Quite durable, single chunk of leather style of construction.

Only warning is that this belt is on the wide side. It is listed as 1.5" (I think) and that is accurate, but it is on the beefy side of that. Other belts tend to be on the smaller side. Notably, I wear Dickies traditional work pants, and this just barely fits through the loops. OTOH it is perfect with jeans, and just right with Sears work pants.

Sizing is wrong. I got a belt labeled 46 (as ordered); but it's actually 47 1/2 -- measured from the middle (of five) holes to the point on the buckle where the prong lays on the frame. The five holes are an inch apart between 45 1/2 and 49 1/2 inches of length. Belt seems sturdy and flexible. Haven't worn it yet. May return it because of the sizing defect. Made in China BTW.

My husband is tough on his clothes. He wears out jeans, socks and belts very quickly. He always wears out the notches in his belts to where the belt pretty much breaks in half. However, this Carhartt belt has lasted a long time and is still in great shape. Over the past two years, I have just about replaced his entire closet with Carhartt-brand clothes. Definitely worth the money!

When I ordered this belt, all I wanted was a durable, no frills belt. That is what I got. Good quality and very plain. My only complaint is that, when ordering, I was instructed to order one size larger than my waist size. I wear a 36-38 waist, depending on brand, so I ordered a 40 belt. I had to add 2 holes to the belt for it to fit comfortably. I think, had I ordered the 38 I would have just made it. Otherwise, I would buy this belt again (in the proper size).

We bought this basic belt a size larger so that it could be used for a costume for the groom. It's a very sturdy belt... It's true to size as we needed it to hang down (that's why the extra size) and support a real sword, scabbord and frog(that's the part that holds the sword to the belt). It worked great! Very sturdy!

I like these belts. This is the 2nd one that I purchased because I have been losing weight and wanted a smaller one. The leather seems a little thin to me, but it holds up well and looks good. The ones that I've ordered seem to be sized for your waist. Example: size 42 jeans need a size 42 belt. I recommend them.

This belt is great. Finally a great belt that is made well and rugged. My husband is a sheperd and needs a belt that can stand up to abuse. This belt appears to be one solid piece of leather and not just a thin piece glued on to cloth.

Bought the belt and it looked great but after wearing it for a month the leather started splitting apart. Now it looks like my dog has been chewing on it - and he is innocent. Next time I get a Filson as I expect my belts to outlast me.

The belt looked good out of the box. It was a little too wide to fit easily through the loops of my dickie work pants. Took me 2-3 minutes to put the belt on because of this. But the real kicker was that I ran into the same problem as another reviewer on here. The 2nd time I went to cinch and buckle the belt (1st day wearing it), the belt buckle popped off in my hand. I wouldn't recommend this purchase.'
