Respirators - respirator, chemical

I have been using this mask, with the pink 3M model# 2091 P100 RESPIRATOR FILTERS 3M - 2091 - 3M P100 Particulate Filter, for many years for woodworking, construction demolition and drywall sanding. It's like breathing through a HEPA filter. Keeps dust, mold, pollen and other airborne debris out of your respiratory tract MUCH BETTER than those cheap paper masks you find in hardware and Home stores. It's also very lightweight and comfortable for day-long use. A pair (2 needed) of replacement filters are cheap at around $5. The mask comes in small, medium and large sizes to fit your face for a good airtight seal against your skin. I'd have to find a new line of work and different hobbies if not for these babies. 3M 6291 Half Facepiece Respirator Assembly Medium with P100 Filters

We bought this for my husband, who has severe cat allergies but does not want to rely on medication every day to control his allergic reactions to the stray cat we recently adopted.

The mask works wonderfully and gives him the confidence to be in the same room with our cat. And no, he doesn't wear the mask 24 hours a day (that would be sad!), just when he's in really close proximity with the cat's bedding or any upholstered surfaces that have not been recently vacuumed. We also have a RabbitAir brand air purifier, which also helps immensely.

A note about the size of the mask: apparently this mask also comes in small and large. I couldn't find any information on the Internet about what size to choose, so I called the customer support number at the manufacturer, 3M. I was told that about 70% of customers fit into the medium size, so that was what we bought. The fit is perfect.

Based upon this websites recommendations and my need to block allergans and particulate matter while doing yard work I purchased this mask. The disposable pink filters were the only assembly required and they were simple and intuitive. The medium mouth piece was large enough for my face, and I imagine fits must average size faces, but I sometimes wonder if I a larger size would have been slightly more comfortable. The medium size is large enough to cover my nose and mouth but there is light pressure on the bridge of my nose that causes some annoyance when I first start to wear it. The mask features two elastic straps. The first positions around the back of the head and even has a cradle for the top of your skull. The second wraps around the neck and features a simple plastic hook that is easy to adjust and very comfortable. Breathing requires a little more effort and there is a subtle temperature increase to the air you breath, but these very small differences reinforce the feeling that you are inhaling purified and particle free air. For the price and the obvious benefit it is a terrific product.

I read in a couple different reviews that the medium size is supposed to fit 70-80% of people. After trying on the medium, I'm not sure I believe that. I have a big nose, but I still think the medium is quite small... even if I had a normal sized nose. Because the fit isn't right, the mask leaks air and is uncomfortable.

I think this is a good product, but I'm going to have to order a large.

I'm guessing the small would have to be for small children. I can't imagine any adult would need anything smaller than a medium.

Fits good (which is relative to the individual) seals good. Filters excellently. I have been using this mask on a mold remediation project and it has performed fantastically. Combined with the P100 filter cartridges it completely eliminated the foul odor of the mold and no doubt prevented about 100 million spores from getting to my respiratory tract. :D I will use this mask for general wood work and have purchased other cartridges to be used for pesticides and paint spray. I highly recommend this as an economical and high performance product!

i have horrible allergies almost year round that peaks in certain seasons to where claratin, zyrtec, benedryl, and any other symptom reliever just doesnt cut it anymore even with double dosing.

but this mask filters all allergens, and even odors too and only lets clean, fresh air in for you to breath.

granted you are wearing a mask, you wont breathe as freely as you do without it but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

simply put, if you are allergic to anything airborne, this is a MUST HAVE

This item came and I took it out. There were no punctures in the bag or package it came in. It fit my girlfriend well (she's wearing it), but it fit me small (as expected).

The fit is is pretty tight as you test it by inhaling and closing off the filter connections. So there aren't any air leaks. So I'm pretty confident that this respirator works well.

I have bad allergies in the spring and summer time and I currently am taking care of foreclosed homes yard work here in the mountains. Without this respirator there is no way I could get as many homes done in a day and as comfortably as I do. My allergies would be killing me!

I needed to spray some mold under my house with some bleach water. Without a mask I couldn't stay under there for but a few minutes the smell was so strong. With this mask I never smelled a thing and stayed under there until I was done.

I ordered this to use in my welding class because the schools vacuum ventilation system was not properly installed and failed to provide proper protection from dust and welding fumes. The fit up is important and most average sized guys of around 5'9" and 200lbs will find this a good fit in the medium. Cleaning it is a breeze and all you need is warm water and mild soap, adjustment is easy and it stays on securely regardless of your work position and has no problem when wearing a full face welding shield. Range of vision is barely obstructed thanks in part to the pancake filter and filter location. Filtration was fully effective and I went from allot of coughing and flem discharge to no coughing and no flem discharge and best of all no welder boogers ( trust me if you've never welded you dont want to know )so if your welding or working in a trade with allot of dust then get this respirator and save your lungs and your life. - Chemical - Respirator - Mask - Dust'

Book Stand - textbook holder, large book holder

From the perspective of one whose only hand suffers from both arthritis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I rate the ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER, the BOOK BUTLER, and the Fellowes Book Lift Copyholder in 4 areas:

1. Ease of putting a book in the holder

2. Ease of turning pages

3. Holder's ability to keep book open

4. Major Strength/weakness

However, I will first describe the ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER, the BOOK BUTLER, and the Fellowes Book Lift Copyholder:

The ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER occupies 7.5 x 14 inches of table space, does not provide any elevation, but does permit placement of pegs at various widths and depths. It is very stable, and cannot tip over. Its pegs are not parallel to the book's pages, and are about 1 inch high.

The BOOK BUTLER occupies about 7 inches of width and about 8 in depth. Its pegs are 3/4 inch high, and the pegs are parallel to the pages, which means there is only a very minor chance of pages slipping past the pegs. This would only happen if the book was very stiff or if it were a hardback whose cover extended much more than 3/16th of an inch below the bottom of the pages. It has springs to hold its pegs snugly against the pages. The BB also elevates the book about 2 inches above the tabletop. Its metal rod may be inserted to hold books at two different angles: 45 or 15 degrees.

The The Fellowes Book Lift Copyholder is 11 5/8 wide and has an adjustable angle that can be varied to 5 or 6 positions. It folds into a flat easily carried sheet of plastic. It has holes to fit it into a 3 ring binder. Its two adjustable clips simply fail to hold anything but comic books open.

1. Ease of putting a book in the holder: ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER: 5/5; BOOK BUTLER 3/5; FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER 2/5. I had no difficulty inserting a book into the Roberts Book Holder, while I did find it awkward to do so with the BOOK BUTLER. However, even with only one hand and it has both arthritis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I was able to put a 2 1/2 inch thick hardback into the BOOK BUTLER without much difficulty. It is only a matter of figuring out how to do so with only 1 hand. The FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER simply will not hold anything thicker than a small soft cover book, although putting it in was not too hard.

2. Ease of turning pages: ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER: 3/5; BOOK BUTLER 5/5; FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER 2/5. While it was easy to turn pages with the Roberts Book Holder in most cases, there was some difficulty when the pegs were tightly pressed against the pegs. Also note that the pages must be lifted above the pegs, and can rip if carelessly handled. Compared to the BOOK BUTLER, this was noticeably inferior. Turning pages with the BOOK BUTLER involved lifting the hinged tab with one finger while turning the page with thumb and index finger. The FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER's tabs are hinged, and therefore flip easily out of the way for turning pages. However, the pages simply will not stay open.

3. Holder's ability to keep book open: ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER: 3/5; BOOK BUTLER 5/5; FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER 0/5. As mentioned earlier, the Roberts Book Holder has pegs that are at a slight angle to the pages, which may allow stiff books' pages to slip past the pegs. However, the BOOK BUTLER performed flawlessly. Note that I primarily use soft backs but not standard paperback novel-sized books. Manga books work fine. The FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER fails almost every time to hold the book open. It would work fine with comic books as long as they are stapled in the middle and very thin.

4. Major strength/weakness: The ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER's major weakness is that its pegs are easily lost. Note that replacement pegs are available: Roberts Book Holder: Book holder replacement pegs - package of 2. People with severe arthritis may have difficulty handling the pegs. A secondary weakness is the fact that the pegs are not parallel to the pages, thus, pages are more likely to slip past the pegs than they are in the BOOK BUTLER. The ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER's pegs being round can roll away if dropped on the floor. However, its stability upon the tabletop is much better than the BOOK BUTLER, whose major weakness is its narrow 7 inch width that may cause it to tip over when holding a wide and heavy book. I just tried a standard college textbook in the BOOK BUTLER. Placing it in open to its table of contents was noticeably more difficult than it would have been in the ROBERTS. With the textbook in the holder, flipping from the table of contents to the index is awkward, mainly because of the transfer of weight from one side to the other, and would require sliding it so that the bulk of the weight remains near the middle. The FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER's only redeeming feature is that it folds flat, and can be carried in a backpack without being in its box. Its adjustable clips simply flip over with the force of most any book. It is worthless as a book holder. It pales in comparison to either the BOOK BUTLER or the ROBERTS BOOK HOLDER. It is only good for thin magazines stapled in the middle. I had one that I used for a few years, but it simply was not worth the money. Nothing would stay open adequately. My attempts to stiffen the clips were futile.

I have carried the ROBERTS in its box a backpack for about a year, its box is worn but it is still in great shape because it stores flat. However, the BOOK BUTLER does not fold flat, and I would not think it would be appropriate for a backpack crammed full of heavy books, even if it were stored in its box. I have used the FELLOWES BOOK LIFT COPYHOLDER in that same backpack prior to buying the Roberts. There were no problems in carrying it, but since it fails in its purpose, why bother?

Thus, for home, I prefer the BOOK BUTLER; I am keeping the ROBERTS in my backpack; the FELLOWES is in the landfill. Fellowes Booklift Copyholder,Platinum (21100) - Large Book Holder - Textbook Holder - Book Holder - I Would Recommend It'

Irobot Roomba Battery - roomba, battery

I highly recommend Battery Superstore.

When I purchased this product I was disappointed to find it was not an iRobot battery. I wrote to Battery Superstore and they immediately changed the listing so there is no doubt.

I respect their honesty. I also like their battery.

I replaced three original batteries with the Tenergy Replacement Battery and have been very pleased with the result. We use our Roombas daily and they complete their assigned tasks with battery to spare. Tenergy Replacement Battery for iRobot® R3 500 series 14.4V APS Battery

My Roomba was suffering - it would clean about 10 minutes and then start looking for its dock. Most times, it would simply stop in the middle of cleaning and decide it was too tired to even return home. This battery is an excellent replacement, and my Roomba now lasts longer than it did when new, cleaning my entire main floor before returning, when it was only sufficient for about 2/3ds of the floor when new...

I purchased this Tenergy battery from Battery Superstore. It has been in use for more than a month now with my Roomba 530 running for an hour or more one or two times a week. So far I haven't exhausted the battery on any of the cleaning missions!

The battery has been performing as well or better than the original battery (when new) and has been a good value so far.

Amazing price compared to manufacturer's battery. Fits my 500 series irobot. First run was over 1 1/2 hrs so their estimate was right on. Not sure what they mean by "50 percent greater useful life than original Roomba batteries"...guessing that means over the lifetime of the battery and that is yet to be determined. But if it continues as is, is a great product for half the price of the original.

The battery from Tenergy shipped right away, fit well, dropped staight in, charged up, and runs our iRobot as expected. If it lasts as long as the original, I'll be completely happy with the purchase.

I'm fairly satisfied with this battery replacement, after my Roomba's existing battery gave up, even with a power system reset. The packaging was non-descript - brown paper box with a sticker noting the NIMH 14.4V 3500MAH battery. The instruction sheet had an... interesting... translation on it, but the steps to replace the Roomba battery are fairly straightforward. Give it a shot. Cheaper than iRobot's official battery, at least.

I have 560, the battery since brand new only last 15-20 minutes per full charge. After 8 months, the stock battery doesn't hold charge much... I bought this one, it came fully charged. It lasted over 30 minutes before it return to dock. Awesome! Btw, this is 3500 amh, stock is only 2200 amh. This battery charges very well, and takes longer to fully charge, of course given higher storage 3500 amh - Battery - Battery Replacement - Roomba Battery - Roomba'

Speedo Goggles - speedo goggles, men

I used these and I like them. I have a big head, but these still fit! I can see the bottom of the pool with no water leaking into and no fogs. I chose smoky color, so they do not see me, but I can see them. I do not want people to recognize me; when swimming, I am like a hippo bathing after eating full lunch. Speedo Vanquisher Swim Goggle (Clear)

My daughter is on the high school swim team. She has been swimming for about 7 years now. We recently moved and she's attending a new high school. When asked what goggles he recommended, the coach opened his file cabinet and handed us a pair of Vanquisher goggles. My daughter tried them at her next practice and came home from school praising these goggles. She wears contacts in the pool and says that no water gets under these googles. She also said that they are very comfortable. I'm back to buy a couple pair for her younger sister.

UPDATE: My youngest (age 14) loves them too, and my girls never agree!

I've been using these goggles for a while now. I've tried several other goggles and the fit with the silicone is just right, and very comfortable. I thought that the silcone would wear out, but it's lasted me many swimming sessions and is still airtight (although I have to adjust the straps tigther because the silicone straps are loosening with use). Vision is good but I've had a better view with other goggles. It will also fog up slightly with extended use. Anti-fog drops or spit will fix that up. I've used them to swim in lakes (triathlon) for extended periods with no issues. I've also noticed that Speedo's quality in all of products I've tried (silicone swim caps, swim jammers) is above par. I guess that's why they're the industry leaders. It's a great pair of goggles and Amazon's got a great price on them with free shipping to boot.

These are the best selling men's swim goggles but I am not sure if they deserve to be. They need lot of adjustment to be air-tight and comfortable. Based on my experience with swim goggles for years, I think an ideal goggle has these qualities, in order of preference: Air-tight seal, after all, the main function of goggles is to protect your eyes from irritants in the pool water; Comfortable to wear, without any irritation and the commonest source of irritation is the nose piece; Clear vision; Look good; Very little drag - which could be the top priority for a competitive swimmer.

What I have found is that to get leak proof seal with most comfort, you will need to spend some time making the appropriate adjustments multiple times.

ADJUSTMENTS BEFORE THE FIRST USE

1. Press the googles against your orbits, without the straps, and see if you get a feeling of suction and how the nose piece feels.

2. Adjust the headstraps to get the most snug, not the tight, feel. You may need a blunt object like a key to get the headstraps out of the clips.

3. Adjust the nose piece to get suction and the comfortable feel. There are four nose pieces that come with these google. The nose pieces come out of the goggles with a twisting movement.

ADJUSTMENTS BEFORE EACH USE

1. Put the goggles on before getting into the water to get air-tight seal.

2. Press the goggles against the orbits, without the headstraps, to get suction and air-tight seal.

For me, it took fine tuning the strap and the nose piece, for about 5 sessions of swimming to get the right snug air-tight fit. Then it needs to be adjusted about once every 5-6 weeks.

TO MAINTAIN OPTICAL CLARITY

1. Need to store the goggles in a case, preferably water draining, with nothing rubbing against the goggles to scratch them.

2. Periodically, depending upon your use, coat them with anti-fog coating. I have been using Sea Drops Anti-Fog & Lens Cleaner 1.25 fl oz and each application lasts me about 90 laps - mile and a half of swimming.

3. Wash them after each use to prevent chemical damage.

Of course, even with anti-fog spray, sooner or later all goggles lose their optical clarity.

After, you make the right adjustments, these Vanquisher goggles, are pretty close to the ideal goggles. I just found the following two problems.

1. The nose piece is hard plastic, and nose pieces come in different sizes, and you cannot carry them all in case you need to make in adjustment while in the pool. I preferred the soft rubber adjustable nose piece in my old Speedo goggles, which had different notches for adjustment. It was soft and comfortable on the nose and you could adjust it while in the pool.

2. The case for goggles is big and hard plastic which does not drain water. Soft plastic self draining case would have been nicer.

With these minor caveats, I think these are good pair of goggles although I liked my old Speedo goggles better for the reasons mentioned above, but they are no longer available.

I have trouble with most swim goggles, because they dig into the bridge of my nose. The Vanquisher model has a higher bridge, but still has a wide field of view. They are quite comfortable, and have really made my swim training a pleasure, rather than a torture ending with an "indented" nose.

I got them yesterday and was so excited aftering trying them. For the entire 40 minutes of my lap swim, it didn't fog at all, seriously. They snuggled to my eyes tight but did not left any line. I was originally planning on purchasing the Speedo Vanquisher Women but as they don't have the colors I want (I wear contact lens therefore need more color on goggle lens to deflect some light), I went for this model and they fit well. I highly recommend this goggle. The bonus point is with extra nose piece in the case, I was able to replace it on the broken one on my old goggle and it fits well. My previous goggle was made in Japan, non-Speedo brand. - Speedo - Men - Swimming - Speedo Goggles'

Harmony One - universal remote, remote control

The introduction of the new Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote has really raised some eyebrows and produced a lot of chatter in the electronics gadget market. Once you see this remote and try it for yourself you will understand what all the buzz is about!

The Harmony line of universal remotes has become the most popular among average consumer grade remotes here in the U.S. Although not cheap, the Logitech Harmony series offers great functionality, easy computer-based programmability, and stylish looks at a somewhat affordable price. I already owned two other Harmony remotes, including the Logitech Harmony 550 Universal Remote and the Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote Control, before deciding to buy the new Harmony One. The 880 model has proven to be a wonderful but somewhat frustrating remote to own. It has very small buttons, a smallish color LCD display, and I had problems with the charging feature working properly when sitting the remote in its charging cradle. The Harmony one improves on all of these aspects. This new remote has much larger buttons, which have unique shapes that make it easy to determine function of most buttons by feel (so you don't have to look at them before pressing). The LCD screen is bigger, brighter, and has a much higher resolution; not to mention the fact that it is a touch screen. The newly designed charging cradle is formed precisely to hold the new Harmony One snug, so it cannot wobble and lose connection with the charging contacts. The Harmony One is a slight bit larger than the Harmony 880 and 890 series remotes, but feels more balanced in the hand; likely due to the remote's wonderful contoured body. Setting up the new Harmony One could not be much easier, using the same USB interface and Harmony Remote software that all of the other Harmony remotes utilize. If you already have a previous Harmony remote, you can copy over all of the activities and devices onto the new Harmony One. However, doing this will cause you to lose any custom button settings. As could be expected, the Harmony One also has an IR learning capability, so you can teach it IR commands from other device remotes that you have.

Although some of the features of this new model are not unique from other Harmony models, here are a few of the perks you get with the newly designed Harmony One:

- Beautiful 2.2" LCD Touch Screen Display (220 by 176 pixels)

- 40 Essential Backlit Function Buttons, With Unique Shapes That Make Them Easy To Identify By Touch

- USB Interface Allows Easy Setup via Computer With Included Harmony Remote Software

- Harmony Remote Software Currently Includes Database Of More Than 5,000 Manufacturers and 175,000 Devices.

- Activities Can Be Programmed For One Touch Control Of Your Entire Home Entertainment and/or Home Automation System (i.e., Watch DVD, Listen to CD, etc.)

- Up To 15 Devices Can Be Programmed, Meaning You Can Essentially Replace 15 Remotes With The Harmony One

- Logos Can Be Added For Favorite Channels Or Device Functions (although setting this up can be rather tedious!)

- Rechargeable Litium Ion Battery Powers Remote For Several Days Between Charges

- Up To 8 Photos Can Be Uploaded For Slideshow On LCD Display (resolution and file size limitations apply!)

- Ergonomic Body Fits Well In Hand And Feels Light And Well Balanced

- Included Charging Cradle Holds Remote Snug And Keeps Remote Charged And Ready For Use

- IR Learning Feature Allows Custom Teaching Of Specialized Device Remote Commands

- Built-In Motion Sensor Automatically Tuns On Backlighting When Remote Is Picked Up Or Tilted

With the good you always have to expect some bad, and the Harmony One does indeed have a few flaws that nick my overall score of this otherwise awesome device:

- Glossy Surface Of Remote Promotes Ugly Finger Print Smudges And Accentuates The Appearance Of Dust Particles

- Only 3 Activities Are Displayed On LCD At One Time (you can flip pages to display other activities in sets of 3)

- No RF or Bluetooth (IR only!)

- No WiFi for Remote Setup (must be plugged directly into PC via included USB cable)

- Photos and Custom Button Icons Can Be Painful To Setup and Configure

- Remote Wobbles A Bit When Sitting On Hard Surface (counter top, night stand, etc.)

- Cannot Customize Order Of Device List

- No Tactile Response/Feedback for Touchscreen Buttons

Overall I am extremely pleased with my new Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote. It is definately a step up from my Harmony 880 model. However, with a $250.00 price tag this may not be a practical choice for everyone. Many of the cheaper Logitech Harmony universal remotes offer most of the same capabilities; just not with all of the bells, whistles and high-tech style as you get with the Harmony One. I definately wish Logitech had designed this remote with a matte finish, rather than the finger print attracting gloss finish. I also wish they included the ability to customize the order in which it displays the device list. I have 15 devices programmed into my Harmony One, and I find myself flipping through page after page in order to find the device I want (since the LCD only displays 3 per page). These design oversights, and those listed in my cons list above, as well as the hefty price tag prevent me from giving this wonderful remote a 5-star rating. Still, the Harmony One is one of the best, affordable, full-featured universal remote controls you will find on the market today (IMO). Since this remote has firmware that can be upgraded via the Harmony Remote Software, I am hoping that Logitech tweaks this device a little over the coming months. Still, there is no way for them to add features like RF, Bluetooth or WiFi without introducing an upgraded model in the future. This means that buying the Harmony One today may leave you wanting a newer (improved) model, which is sure to be released by Logitech in the near future (as they did when they introduced the Harmony 890 after many of us had already purchased the Harmony 880!). If you are looking for a sleek, one remote solution for your home entertainment and/or home automation needs, and you can live without RF and Bluetooth for the foreseeable future, then I highly recommend the Logitech Harmony One. It really is one amazing remote control device! Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote with Color Touch Screen - Logitech - Touchscreen - Universal Remote - Remote Control'

Ac-dc Converter - ac-dc converter, cobra

This review is in response to some comments regarding wire and fuse size selections for this inverter and others like it.

In response to other review quoting a table from the National Electric Code (NEC). While the table that was posted is correct for 115VAC (household voltage) is does not translate directly to 12VDC (automotive voltage). When dealing with a 12 volt system there is less concern with wires overheating, at least in the way that the NEC considers it, and far more concern with voltage drop. When running wiring a reasonable distance (a couple hundred feet or so) there is little concern with voltage drop with AC power. But when dealing with DC, simply increasing your wiring distance 5-10' can have a drastic effect on voltage drop. That is why this inverter should be wired with, at the very least, #4 wire and really should be installed with #2 or thicker, especially if you need to run wire 15 or 20 feet or more.

The purpose of a fuse in a DC system is to protect the rest of your electrical system in the event of a short. That is why you always want to install your fuse as close to the battery as possible (no more then 3' if you can help it). As far as the amperage goes, there is a really good quick reference chart for automotive wire size that can be found at Tessco's web site here:[Turns out I can't link to an outside page so I'll paste the contents of the table at the bottom]. But to boil it down, you can safely fuse a 12VDC circuit at 150, or 200 amps, or more on #4, #2 or #0 wire.

Now this unit at full load is something like 85% efficient. So if you do the math -- 1500 Watts / 12 Volts / .85 efficiency = ~147 amps, A 150 AMP FUSE IS REQUIRED. If you take peak power into account you would need to double that to a 300 amp fuse, but because the inverter cannot run at peak power for more then a moment, a slow-blow 150amp fuse may work just fine, or perhaps you could step up a 200amp. I wouldn't go all the way to a 300 amp fuse unless you really found that you needed it and had the inverted is wired in such a way that it could handle that level current (read: installed using very heavy gauge wire). Now if your vehicle is running while your inverter is working the amperage will be a little lower because your dealing with 14.4 VDC rather then 12 volts (watts = volts x amps -or- amps = watts / volts). But at the very least, a 150 amp ANL fuse is very good idea and not at all over sized.

Just a FYI on fuses, most car stereos are installed with AGU style fuses, but they only go up to 100 amps.

You will need an ANL style fuse to get one rated at 150 amps or more. See these links for examples:

This product works great, I have a microwave, flatscreen tv, and a toaster i hook up to it and there is no problems. One thing I wish would have been mentioned somewhere is that you need to purchase a 150 amp inline fuse to put in the power wire from the battery to the inverter. So plan on getting one of those and have it ready so you can install it. I didnt know about it and spent some time in North Dakota trying to find one. Enjoy.

The inverter is working for me exactly as described and as I hoped. I drive a truck and have it installed to replace an older, smaller model. I run a number of things including my laptop, external speakers, printer, TV and a coffee pot. The low input warning works great, and will shut down the inverter if necessary. I will be adding things soon, such as a microwave.

The meter is a great feature which lets me see how much power is being drawn by each device attached as well as the input voltage.

I highly recommend this inverter.

Other reviewers don't seem to have had the problem I did, so this might be a good product but I must tell you my experience with it. I am very familiar with inverters and how to hook them up having lived off of solar power now for over ten years. When I first set up this inverter, the input voltage showed 12.3 volts, the same as my battery voltage but undr a 110 watt load the output wattage meter showed 0 (zero) watts. What I had plugged into the inverter was working fine (a small TV), so I assumed this meter was just broken. If that was all that was wrong I could have lived with it. The next morning I turned it on, turned on the same TV and within 20 minutes the picture on my TV slowly shrank down to a pinpoint and then shut off. There were no low voltage warning sounds. I checked my battery level and it was at 12.2 volts, the same 12.2 volts showed on the input meter on the inverter, output still showed zero, as it always did. I checked the output at all three of the outlets on the inverter and they showed zero. I turned the inverter off and then back on with the voltage meter still in one of the outlets and watched my meter go from 119 volts down to 30 volts, up to 80 volts and then back to zero. The whole time there were no warning sounds coming from the inverter. This fluctuation could very easily damage anything that was plugged into the inverter!!!!

The good news, Amazon's return system is very easy, didn't cost a penny to return it and I got a refund quickly. I thought of getting a replacement instead of a refund because of all the good reviews but decided not to press my luck, no equipment was damaged this time but why risk it again. If I could rate Amazon I would give them five stars but the inverter gets zero xtars since it didn't function as advertised, went dead under much lower load than it is rated for. - Cobra - Ac-dc Converter - Inverter - Power Inverters'

Blu-ray Cable - hdmi, hdmi cables

These cables worked great for me...I'm getting 1080p@24hz no problem. My setup is a Samsung 52" LCD TV (LN52A650) and a Playstation 3. Save yourself a whole lot of money and don't get ripped off buying "Monster" or any other overpriced HDMI cable. Order processing, USPS shipping, and receipt in Texas was lightling fast(7 days). Order 2 while you're at it...someday you'll need another one! Mediabridge Ultra Series - High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet - Category 2 Certified - Supports 3D & Audio Return Channel [Latest HDMI Version Available] - (6 Feet)

Ok so I am a girl and I am not much of a techie but I didn't want to spend $100 on an HDMI cable. I came to Amazon and read a lot of the product reviews.

I first purchased the the HDMI cable from ClearAV, it was inexpesive and not the best product. It cost me a little over $4 for the item and S&H. I tested it on my upconverting Panasonic DVD player on 1080i resolution on my 40" 1080p Samsung LCD TV but it had poor signal quality and the cable was not an HDMI version 1.3. So when I played my DVDs the picture would go on and off and so would the sound and there was a flashing line on my screen. Then I thought maybe I need to get another cable but still was not willing to pay $100.

I continued to do my research and realized that not all HDMI cables were created equal :( So I decided to try my luck again with the MEDIABRIDGE : "Premium 6ft 1.3b Category 2 Super High Speed HDMI Cable - 1080p - PS3 - Blu-Ray." THIS CABLE IS THE REAL THING : the true HDMI version 1.3b Category 2 certified (whatever that means but sounds like a really good thing) which can be used with blu-ray or PS3 and will give you great 48-bit color. I paid a little under $7 for everything i.e for the item and S&H. The first thing I noticed was that it has the "HDMI" embossed on the cable; might not mean much but I thought it was note worthy. Second, the cable was thick and sturdy unlike the regular one I previously purchased. Third, apparently it's gold plated, I don't know how to prove this but it sure looks shiny :)

OK so I got the product 2 business days later from MEDIABRIDGE( I was so happy it arrived promptly), I tried it last night and everything was perfect. I didn't have to wiggle the cable to see if I could get a better signal, audio and picture quality. Just plugged everything in and one, two, we were in business. I even did my Core Secrets workout with all the movements and I still got perfect picture and sound. I should have just paid $2 extra to begin with for a better quality product...take it from me...I'm girl with not much knowledge on such stuff but I know a great product when I see one.

Hopefully it will last me a long time :) I'm off to do my research on the Play Station console, I am curious to see how much better Blu-Ray picture quality is...no sense in buying an expensive Blu- Ray dvd player when I can just get the game right?

Just in case someone may feel guilty for not paying a lot more for, basically the same thing, let's look at our top of the line offer, Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (2 meters) and do a quick comparison.

This item supports the HDMI 1.3b standard which is almost as good as it gets (1.3c doesn't add anything special). Any HDMI 1.3 cable can carry up to 10.2 Gbit/s. Hmmm... I suppose the Monster is much better, right? Well... it "guarantees a certified cable bandwidth of 10.2" Okay, but the Monster also supports "x.v.Color, and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD". It turns out that, all of the above, and more, are part of the HDMI 1.3 specs and they are fully supported by every cable that complies to the standard and can be had for about 90% less in the Mediabridge. The expensive brand presentation simply enumerates the HDMI 1.3 specs as if it being HDMI 1.3 compliant was a really big deal. It is not a big deal. Even a cable that costs 95% less is HDMI 1.3 compliant.

My suggestion: if you think that the proponents of the expensive brand have a point when they claim that their product is a lot more durable, buy TWO Media Bridge wires and still pay almost 80% less than you would pay for one of the expensive ones.

My personal experience: I've never paid 'a lot' for an HDMI cable because it makes no sense to pay more. I took home one of the 'expensive' ones once because the salesman promised to take it back if I wasn't amazed by the difference. It made zero difference and I returned it.

Rescue Knife - rescue knife, emergency

My knife just arrived today, and I am very impressed. It has a good weight in the hand without feeling heavy, and without feeling too light and cheap. The construction is rock solid and feels like it can take a serious beating without showing any wear. I have large hands, and the grip is comfortable and unlikely to slip. The liner lock is feels very sturdy and the knife opens quickly and smoothly with a flick of the thumb. It doesn't lock when closed, which would be nice, but that's really not an issue. It fits nicely in the pocket too. With the knife in my pocket and clipped to the pocket edge, it doesn't feel to bulky or get in my way.

This is an excellent knife, especially at such a low price.

Great knife, belt cutter and hammer included! Real help for hobby too, not only for those who intended to dive to save somebody from sank vehicle. Smooth blade movement, one hand operated (either one!), sharp, including a spring on the handle so you can wear it practically anywhere. Nylon sheath available too! Recommended!

First off, what's not in the description and is hard to make out from the picture is that this knife has an emergency glass breaker on the butt end of the handle- a good extra feature considering it's being owned with emergency use in mind.

This is an excellent knife; very smooth blade motion, locks into place without jiggling, very sharp blade and point- very. Pant/belt clip is very well attached/tight- you won't have to worry about this falling loose, its almost idiot-proof. Tanto design gives very solid feel along with strong, solid spine. Highly recommended. Seller provides shipping information as well- very important to me.

Just received this knife, speedy shipping from seller. Knife is light and feels balanced in hand. Smooth opening (non-assisted) and solid locking mechanism. Blade wasn't very sharp but came up nicely once on the stone. Serrated portion was fine though. This unit will be kept in my truck's emergency kit so it will not be an EDC.

I ordered the knife while in Afghanistan to have as an everyday pocket knife and as a last option weapon. The knife is built well and i like the design and the size. It's also quick and easy to open with one hand. The only complaint I have is it's not very sharp. The drop from the point to the angle is pretty dull and the rest of the blade is decently sharp. It takes a few strokes to cut through simple things but it gets the job done. It could easily be sharpened to your liking. I would get the blade again especialy for this price.

For the price, you cannot beat this knife for utility. It has a sharp, nice-sized blade, a very grip-able handle, opens reasonably well and locks securely. I use it to carry while on my motorcycle. A good knife goes a long way when you're on a bike. The serrations allow you to easily cut thru materials a straight edge might have trouble with, the tanto-shaped blade can double as a straight screwdriver (not recommended) and the glass punch can double as a hammer if needed...the seatbelt cutter is just a bonus.

It is a great knife, comes out of the box sharp. Has glass breaker and seat belt cutter, hope never need to use them but glad to have them at hand. The texture of grip is really nice when cutting. When hold in hand if were to use glass breaker had a nice spot on top for your thumb. Fits great in pocket, nice low profile. The knife is a litter bigger than expected, even seeing the dimensions being correct, still was bigger than i guess i suspected. But would rather think knife was little to big than to small. GREAT PRODUCT!

this is my second s&w knife and i am very happy. i'm going overseas soon doing convoys and i wanted a multipurpose knife that i can count on and i found that in this knife. the blade and point are practically razor sharp and the serrated portion is big enough to work but doesn't dominate the whole blade. i tested the seat belt cutter on some zip ties and a thick canvas strap and it performed up to par. it also is out of the way enough that it doesn't effect the grip. i have yet to use the glass breaker but i'm look for any reason to. it seems solid and it a big part of the handle. the rubber grip feels secure and not cheap that is will have a negative affect on your grasp. for not even $30 with shipping and handling what are you really risking? if you use is for a year and loose it or break it (which doesn't seems likely) you should have gotten your use out of it. i'm happy, secure and confident in my purchase- you should be too. - Pocket Knife - Emergency - Knife - Rescue Knife'

I found this case after browsing at different cases to use with my new Galaxy Tab. The price, including shipping, was under [...], so I ordered it even with no reviews available, and it turned out to be better than I expected (an unusual surprise). The case is soft in feel, this black smooth silicone is attractive, useful and protective of the tablet. It is fully covered in the back, with cutouts for the front and back cameras. In order to give greater protection to the tablet, I will get a screen protector next. A great deal. Get it! Premium Black Soft Gel Silicone Skin for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Case Cover

Decent shipping and great price. I received it a day later than my other items. The case itself fits the galaxy tab just fine. It functions better than the other silicone case I had, since the sides are molded to cover more of the face of the tab. This helps keep the edges of the case from sliding off which was the major reason I purchased this one. The case has a smooth feel as well. In all, it fits the edges and face better than other silicone that don't. Get this one

I bought this skin along with a leather cover and I have to admit that this skin is way better than the expensive leather cover. It makes it easier to hold the device and it doesn't affect the touch buttons. I love it.

The seller misled me into thinking that I was ordering a particular type of case when in fact they sent an entirely different product. Now they want me to pay for return shipping (postage) as well as charge me for other shipping charges ($5.99) and restocking fees (20%). It is an extremely dishonest seller who makes buying on Amazon feel like eBay. I am very very disappointed.

I really like the silicon covers I typically get for my Ipod Touch, so when I saw this for the Galaxy Tab, I jumped at it. Fantastic price and exactly what I wanted.... Fits very very well. Provides protection to the case, and feels good in my hands. Less likely I will drop the tablet too because of the extra friction you get from the rubbery surface. The power and volume buttons fit exactly in place within the cover. Highly recommend.

Well, there is no model number on the Samsung phone to use to get the correct silicone protective case. All that it has is Galexy S. They sent me two cases that were for larger devise. I threw them away, as they were so cheap that I would have had to pay more to return and recive the correct ones than just canning them. I am going with the high prices ones from T-Mobile.'

Ipod Touch 4g - screen protector, clear

I like this mirror protector screen. it was kinda hard to put it on my Ipod touch 4th gen since I never did this before, but after a couple of minutes, it turned out very snazzy :] very shiny. recommend you put your screen brightness up high, so you'll be able to see your apps screen clearly.

I recommend this ! iPod touch Mirror Screen Protector (4th generation)

It did not come with instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out. The mirror is fantastic, you can see perfectly in it. HOWEVER the only time you can clearly see the ipod screen is in a dark room. any light in the room at all and you have to battle your own reflection to see the screen. It is great if you dont do anything visual on your screen, like just use the ipod for music. HOWEVER if you play games or watch things on your ipod this will screen protector will not work for you.

Good:

Does not affect the responsiveness of the iPod's touch screen.

Doubles as a mirror when the screen is off (although the back of the iPod is a better mirror).

Easy application but may have to be discarded if removed.

Bad:

Fingerprint magnet.

Screen view-ability deteriorates under bright light.

Screen not viewable at certain angles (this can also be seen as a positive since it doubles as a privacy screen to some extent).

Overall:

Good enough for the price. Wish I was able to remove and reinstall it as I wished. One additional benefit for me is that my toddler doesn't seem to be attracted to the iPod. She picks it up, looks at her reflection, makes a few faces and then moves along... good camouflage.

The mirror effect is too strong:

* You have to override the automatic Ipod brightness settings in most situations, which reduces battery life.

* It makes it very hard to watch video or look at photos in a bright natural light setting.

I do not recommend this product.

Someone put a sticker on this item and it would not come off. While trying to get it off it tore. Because the item was very inexpensive, it wasn't worth the trip wasting my gas to go to the post office to return it. I considered it a complete loss of my money. I DO NOT recommend this item.

Did not work at all! I followed the directions carefully, and I had a screen protector before that required the same steps. Step one is peel off the first side and slowly stick it to your ipod and step 2 is unpeel the top leaving the non sticky side (which is supposed to reveal the mirror on top). However the second tab would not come off had to pick at it for an hour until finally it ripped and the other side was no longer sticky, had to throw it out. but it is just a dollar maybe you'll have better luck with it? :-/

made the retina display look terrible. makes the clarity go away. do not get this screen protecter.

i immediately took it off after trying to use it with my ipod and now my ipods screen feels horrible and my finger now doesnt glide across the screen nearly as easily as it did before. horrible.

This a very nice screen protector. It looks exactly like in the picture, except in the picture there is two holes at the top but with the product there is only one hole for the camera, and looks just like a mirror when the ipod is off but when its on the protector is invisible. I am very pleased with this product =] - Screen Protector - Ipod Touch 4g - Clear - Ipod Touch 4th Generation'

Surge Protector - battery backup, surge protector

I work as a network technician and have used APC equipment for many years. Their high-end units have always done well for us. For many years, I also used their Smart-UPS brand for my home network needs. As they've become old and had problems, it became more economical to replace them, instead of fixing them, especially, since for my desktops, the industry was moving to USB for signaling, and away from serial ports. My rack still has older 1400 VA SU units using SNMP management cards, but I needed a new desktop solution.

For the past three years, I stuck to APC's consumer products and have been very disappointed. They have more problems than the older units I've grown to love, and because they change models so often, it's harder to find a battery replacement. Plus, they just have a sort of cheapness about them.

With my latest computer purchase, a dual quad Mac Pro, my older 800VA APC just couldn't handle it. So, I decided to try this Cyberpower 1500 and have been very pleased with it, using it for about 2 months so far. The signaling and reported time is more reliable than the APC I was using. Although it should be said, any consumer UPS will not guarantee exact runtimes, load measurements, etc. - For what you are paying for this amount of capacity, some sacrifice must be realized. If you do your calculations correctly, and use it as needed (surges, brown-outs and limited black-outs), these units will fulfill your needs. If you need super accurate measurements and reliable AC power generation, then you should consider a high end unit, such as what APC offers for data centers.

The load reading for this unit, when measured with a Kill-A-Watt is pretty accurate. I like the soft blue lighting with auto-off. I connect my two, 24" LCDs to the APC 800VA unit, and the Cyberpower handles the Mac Pro with three, external FireWire drives with no problems. Testing it, by turning off the circuit breaker (shouldn't pull the cord from the wall), reports about 20 minutes of runtime, which seems about right. I've left it on battery power for about 10 minutes, and the readings remained fairly constant. I live out in the country at the end of our power grid, so I get a lot of "dirty" power. Brown-outs are common, and my larger UPS units have the ability to generate statistical logs each day of the power fluctuation. I feel pretty safe with this unit, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

Lastly, the software both Cyberpower and APC provides for the Mac OS, is really bad! I prefer to just use the Mac's SysPrefs to configure the UPS settings and leave it at that. Both companies desperately need a re-write of their OS X software. Cyberpower CP1500AVRLCD UPS - LCD Display 1500VA/900W AVR 8-Outlet RJ11/RJ45/Coax Tower USB

I've had this device for ~3 months and during that period the power has gone out twice for many hours and has "blinked" 5 or 6 times. Half the outlets in the back of the unit provide battery power and surge protection and the other half are just surge protection. I have my Dell XPS710 PC, 20" LCD, and two external USB drives connected to the battery power and my router, modem, speakers and printer connected to the surge protected outlets. It kept my machine running for over 25 mins. when the power went out. My XPS710 is a big gaming rig, so that is just fine. All I need is enough time to finish whatever I'm doing and shut down properly. My PC ran without a hiccup. Same with the power "blinks." They do not affect my PC at all. Plus, it keeps track of all the outages. For a lesser PC, this unit would probably sustain power for much longer. I highly recommend it for protecting any important equipment.

Also, the software will automatically shut down your PC at a pre-set time (i.e., 5 mins of battery power left) in case you lose power when you are not home. Don't forget to download the latest version of the PowerPanel software at the CyberPower website.

Lots of power and big battery for the price. But:

At setup I noticed the display of time remaining was about 91 min. with no load connected. With a very modest load (46W for a DSL modem, Router and new 20" iMac) it showed about 70 min. This was way less than the advertised 170 min. I called CyberPower tech support and got a lot of "I don't know" and was told I would never see numbers as high as 170 min. So I put it to the test. After the first 60 min. "time remaining" droped only 10 min. The "time remaining" display is not linear. The second 60 min. showed a 35 min. drop. Sometime in the third hour it ran out of battery.

I believe the advertised values are a little optimistic but it should be close to the advertised value. I'll bet the chips in the box were calibrated for a smaller unit with less battery so they show low numbers. I wish tech support would have not tried to obscure the display issue.

I want to start by saying that I love the little LCD display with the ability to see how many watts I'm using and the remaining battery time (both without needing to install any software).

However,

1) Both the box and their website say typical runtime up to 170 minutes. I don't want to call it False Advertising, but it's certainly misleading. I've now plugged in two of these units and, after fully charged, the highest remaining battery time is 100 minutes. That's with nothing plugged in so it could never be greater than 100 minutes.

In my case, I have a Dell Dimension 8250 and an LG 24" LCD (turned down to 4% brightness which significantly reduces power consumption). My system uses 144 watts and I get 39 minutes of backup time. That's better than I got with my previous, similarly priced APC model. However, 144 watts is like two light bulbs and it's sad that the modern state of personal UPSes can only power two light bulbs for 39 minutes, and I paid $170 for this.

2) There's no way to completely silence the alarms. First, if the unit's battery is completely drained, you have to remember to manually silence the alarms again when you turn it back on (unless you install their software). Second, even after you do this, the alarms will still sound during the last fifteen to twenty minutes of battery life. As far as I can tell there's NO WAY to prevent this, not on the UPS and not with the software. You can silence the initial alarms, but not the final ones.

My request to all UPS manufacturers: consider the people who buy UPSes that cost less than $200 -- mainly home users and possibly small businesses. These UPSes are not located in a corporate data center, these are in homes where people sleep. The last thing I care about in the middle of the night is if the power goes out. I certainly don't want my UPS to wake up the whole family.

Please give us an easy way to permanently silence all alarms, without needing to install any software, and that continue to remain always silent, no matter what. Even a DIP switch would be great.

3) I wouldn't count on using the telephone/coax surge-suppressing jacks on this unit. Maybe they'll work for you, maybe not. I couldn't use the telephone jack because it created a lot of noise on the phone line (FWIW I don't have DSL either).

I also couldn't use the coax jack. Actually I was using it for several days in the beginning, but then a couple of techs from Comcast Cable showed up at my door and said they'd traced signal noise in my neighborhood to my house. They insisted that I remove the coax from this UPS. (FWIW they said this wouldn't matter because Comcast supposedly has surge protection outside of people's houses.)

Despite my mixed feelings about this UPS, I would probably recommend and purchase this model again in the future because I haven't been able to find anything better in the market in this price range. It's the lesser of the evils. I've had too many problems with APC models, so I hope to avoid APC while their quality remains inferior. - Avr - Cyberpower - Surge Protector - Battery Backup'

Cd Storage

Like the other Case Logic CDW wallets, this one has removalbe pages, holds the discs securely, and has room for rather substantial liner notes. Those that won't fit in the sleeves will fit in the pockets up front.

Because of the unique design of the locking system however, inserting papges is not particularly easy -- the rings lock in front of the first page, so to insert a page, you have to pull out all of the pages in front of it. It would have made more sense to have it lock in the back -- that is where you would either want to add pages, or remove the extra ones.

All in all, we are pleased ... it is a great way to store our cd's, it gets rid of that major shelving system we bought only for our discs, and, frankly, the discs are more accessible, than in some of those fancy jewell cases.

My favorite aspect of the wallets is that we actually listen to our music more -- we were storing our discs in our library -- away from our stereo, so you actually had to make an effort to pull the discs if you wanted to listen to them. Because these books are so much more portable, they are where our stereo is.

I foresee the future holding all music electronically, on demand. But in the meantime, several of us own thousands of CD's and this seems to be the best way to store and protect them.

(PS I understand the hesitation of actually tossing the jewell cases -- all I can say is DO IT!!! It feels fine. And if worse comes to worse, pull them open and save the inserts.) Nylon 320-Disc CD Wallet (Black) plus 16 CD/DVD Fast File Holder

the first cd wallet of this magnitude i ever bought- was the fellowes one. (my review is in there somewhere) I have two of these case logic wallets now (i bought one on sale @ amazon and my friend sent me one from my wish list). I'm ordering a THIRD case logic case because they withstood hurricane Rita... well... actually there wasn't much of a hurricane in Houston - BUT i did have to lug all of three of my 320 cd wallets around during the evacuation. (house to car to 2nd floor apartment to car to house)

both brands are made well- neither of them broke during the evacuation- which is amazing seeing as how- with all my cd's and dvd's inside each wallet weighs 17 to 18 lbs.

I have decided to purchase another case logic cd case- for many reasons...

1. The Fellowes is made well- but you can't take pages out and organize them. The case logic case- you can- it's a pain in the butt though- especially if you want to change a section in the very back... but it's still nice to have the option- and still way better than having to move the cd's out of the sleeves.

2. The Fellowes is made well- but the construction doesn't have as much heft to it as the case logic. when both are empty and you're holding one in each hand- the case logic is a little heavier. the case logic- has nicer smoother nylon feeling fabric- rather than the coarse canvas fellowes. the case logic's has more seam reinforcement. the fellowes has a little bit more padding- but i don't really see how it makes any difference in protecting the media inside.

3. both are difficult to zip- and i'll probably have to rub soap or wax on both brands eventually---- but the thin fabric on the fellowes makes it REALLY hard to zip- where as the case logic - has more hefty fabric which instead of moving with the zipper pull- it stays in place.

4. the binder like quality of the case logic- allows you to use this case frequently without fear of damaging or ripping out pages- ie... flipping around for half an hour trying to figure out what dvd you want to watch.

i keep cd's in the fellowe's one- because it's just for storage. (I highly recommend the 4gb ipod nano opposed to the 2gb fyi) i would NEVER get a fellowe's to house my dvds. These two case logics get thrown around a lot... literally because they're heavy. the pages get smacked around- back & forth, back & forth... they've taken a lot of abuse and that is why this case get's a 5 star rating. i know if i used the fellowes case for my dvd's that thing would have been broken after the first month.

It is wonderful grabbing one of these cases and flipping thru the pages to find my CDs, rather than pawing thru jewel cases, knocking over the stacks of them, and giving up after a half hour of searching. I have 3 CDW-320's, each holding a different genre of music. In a fire, I could grab all three cases and go, where that would've been impossible before. By my calculations, the physical space used by my CD collection has decreased by 40%!

The way to do what I did is to get rid of the jewel cases entirely. To do that, do this for each CD you own:

1) Each side of each CDW-320 page has four pockets. Put the CD in one of the two top-most Pockets on a page.

2) Put the CD's booklet in the pocket underneath its CD.

3) Finally, pop open the CD case (it takes just a little force) and pry out the back-of-the-CD card. Straighten out the folds of that card, and slide it in sideways into the bottom pocket, behind the CD's booklet. It will stick up over the top of the pocket, but since it's in the bottom and the CD's in the top, it doesn't hurt anything. The back card will just cover up a little of the CD.

Continuing in this fashion will allow you to fill up the wallet with 160 CDs, since each CD takes up two pockets. Double and Triple CD cases work similarly, and just use up more pocket-pairs.

When you take out a CD to play it, you can take out the booklet too, and see the back-card with the tracklisting through the clear pockets. You never have to take the back-card out, which is good, since its straightened-out folds may be delicate and may rip with too much handling.

Finally, you can recycle the jewel cases, saving a few in case you want to lend a CD to someone.

One other plus to this one over the other Case Logic cases: not only is it the biggest, but it allows the pages to be removed and shuffled. Like another reviewer said, it's a pain, but at least it's doable. The smaller cases do not have this feature.'

Makeup Remover - wipes, refills

"unscented" yet contains fragrance with the disclaimer **for masking purposes only. The ingredients are listed in the Amazon description so it's not a surprise. I'd generally shop for unscented products to avoid fragrances. While this product omits the fragrance of pleasant aroma, less scented would be a better description for this product than unscented.

I had always used Huggies natural wipes but decided to give this a try since they were around the same price and this ones had aloe. Bad choice! They are sticky, scented and kinda slimy. When you take them out of the tub, instead of only one coming out, it was more like 3. Most of the time the other two were shoved back into the tub since I did not want to waste them but that just made it harder to get another wipe once the shoved ones were used. In general I do not recommend.

I usually use the unscented wipes but ordered these thinking they were the same, I did not realize the aloe would make the wipes so sticky, they are no good for wiping hands and face when out b/c they leave his skin very sticky (and mine since I use them to wipe my own hands a lot). I am holding the rest of the box for use on our newborn instead as she will not need them for hands or face only bottom wiping and the aloe I am sure is great for helping heal diaper rash bottoms.

I just make sure I get the regular unscented now without the aloe.

These wipes leave a very sticky residue on your skin after wiping with them. I am presuming it is the aloe in them. They are also overly moist. I know that may not sound like a bad thing, but the extra moistness combined with the stickiness of the aloe makes them hard to separate. You end up using more than you need because they don't really come out one at a time. And lastly, the description says that the extra packages are resealable & can be used on-the-go, but this is NOT true. The extra packages are only for the plastic box dispenser.

It says they are unscented, but I still smell a scent although it doesn't seem to irritate my baby's skin. It also feels a little "soapy" and there is a sticky film after I wipe my baby's hands or counter/high chair surfaces. I think the Kirland (costco brand) unscented wipes are much better.

The wipes themselves were fine... but, unlike other brands, there's no sticky flap on the individual packages. So, if your big wipe container breaks, you need to find a new wipe holder. And, you can't just throw the individual plastic bag in your diaperbag. Big disadvantage for us.

We've been using Pampers Unscented with Aloe wipes since our son was born. He's 14 months old now. Recently it seems Pampers may have changed the ingredients in these wipes. I say this because now they seem to give our son a diaper rash. The ingredients say there is fragrance for masking purposes. (I think that is what causes the rash. Pampers Sensitive Wipes have no fragrance and our son doesn't get a rash with those). I don't have an old box to compare but the smell seems different. This is speculation because I can't look up the old ingredients. The name of the new wipes is "Pampers SoftCare Unscented Wipes". As of this writing, Amazon has not updated the picture that accompanies these wipes so read carefully.

We've used pampers unscented for years and loved them. However, the newer updated version, as posted here on Amazon, is different than pictured. Also, we don't like the new scent (even though it says "unscented")

The description says these are resealable, but they are not. They come with one big refill tub, but all of the refill packages are sealed - so once you open them they cannot be resealed. This doesn't work for my household as I have the wipes in several locations and do not have tubs everywhere. I will keep using the Costco wipes where each package has a snap top.

These wipes seem to work as well as any. They are thick and do not fall apart during use, even when doing "heavy wiping". My only complaints are with the dispenser. First, the wipes often fall back inside and then you have to thread them back through. Second, when you try to pull a wipe out with one hand, you often get two or three stuck together. Neither of these are that big of a deal though, so I still rate the product 4 stars. - Unscented - Wipes - Pampers Wipes - Refills'
