Magnetic Dry Erase Board - dry erase board, whiteboard

The product is as advertised. It's a basic 11x14 dry erase board. It includes magnetic and double-sided tape mounting options, which is nice since it's a pain to get something that isn't mountable out-of-the-box. The included dry erase marker is a fine-tip, and will probably need to be replaced quickly with regular use. There is no board eraser included. My only complaint is that the marker leaves dark traces after erasing, so you'll need to clean the board often. This size is good for quick notes and lists for placement in smaller areas like narrow walls and refrigerators. Board Dudes 11 x 14-Inch Metalix Magnetic Dry Erase Board, Colors May Vary (45000UA-4)

You can see the quality as soon as you pull the dry erase board out of the box. We ordered ours more than two months ago and it continues to work perfectly. Our board is mounted on the refrigerator door and we use it for shopping lists, errands and to-do lists.

We can go a couple weeks between cleanings. Like all dry erase boards, eventually you will need to clean the surface to remove ghost lines.

The product is a great value for the price. We are thinking about buying a couple more before Christmas for our sons' room.

In summary, excellent quality and price; what more can you ask for in a dry erase board? Rating: Five stars.

Great size for kids working on math problems.

Save LOTS of paper.

Can be easily taken to anywhere (even school).

After I bought them for my kids, and they take it to school, the teachers have asked every student to get one too. Everyone saves paper.

Great for students.

I have this board on the outside of my door at school, and I love it! It's a good size, seems sturdy, and it gets the job done just fine. I was not a huge fan of the mounting materials provided, though. I ended up buying some 3M command strips and using those instead, which worked perfectly but it wasn't ideal. I had hoped the mounting materials provided would be adequate but for sticking to the outside of a dorm door, not so much.

Doubts I had & the answers for it:

Quality of magnet - Pretty good

Quality of board - Good

Quality of marker - Not bad

Quality of silver metal - Fancy (not useful for me)

How the board is been used personally:

--------------------------------------

- Keep track of the vegetables, fruits bought and the order to use them

- Keep track of left over dishes

- Keep track of coupons and their expiration date

- Keep track of groceries/essential items to be bought

- Keep track of bills to be paid

Fits perfectly on fridge. Marker works great, magnets small but useable.

Previous reviewers stated it didn't fit right and that you should put foam pieces between board and magnets.......it came with the foam pieces!!!!!

All in all, just what I was looking for!

Our 2 boards are warped and don't lay flat, so when they are on the fridge if we put pressure on a corner that isn't laying flat against the fridge the whole board flies off the fridge and falls the the floor. Very annoying. - Magnetic Dry Erase Board - Dry Erase Boards - Dry Erase Board - Whiteboard'

Hardwood Flooring Nailer - hardwood floor nailer, hardwood

Have no fear in purchasing this nailer. This nailer is very well made and buying one vs renting one made more sense to me.(At $40-$50 per day to rent). I am installing Brazilian Walnut 3/4" by 2 1/4" solid hardwood flooring. This wood is 185% harder than oak. This nailer had no problem driving the nails. I purchased the "L" shaped cleat nails at my local Lowes. This is my first attempt at installing a wood floor. One tip for DIY'ers, practice on a scrap piece of flooring, I had to adjust the air pressure on my compressor to 90 psi. Also when hitting the nailer with the rubber mallet you need a nice firm swing, not to hard, not to soft, a few practice hits and you will get it. Now about the seller, great service, nailer arrived in 1 week, nailer is exactly as described, was delivered by Fedex in perfect condition. What sold me on buying from this seller was their great price and the fact that they did not charge an inflated shipping rate. To all readers of this review, Good Luck in you flooring project. Akuzuki Contractor Pro Series Dual Hardwood Floor Cleat Nailer and Stapler

I purchased this nailer for use when installing 640 square feet of strand bamboo flooring, in conjunction with Bostich 'L' cleat flooring nails Bostitch FLN-150 1-1/2-Inch Flooring L-Nails, 1000-Per Box. As expected to use the tool over the course of days, with an eye toward utility for future projects, I chose to buy a nailer rather than rent.

Pros:

1. heavy-duty feel

2. budget price

3. changeable baseplates for different thickness flooring

Cons:

1. two of the four allen screws that hold on the base plate simply refused to budge and stripped in the process of trying to remove them to change the plate- completely rendering useless the feature of changeable baseplates for various flooring thickness. (no worries- I added strips of duct tape to suit my 5/8" bamboo strips) This is a manufacturing quality issue. Either the screws should have been properly torqued, or should not have been installed at all, leaving that to the purchaser.

2. Halfway through the flooring project, the unit began to leak air through the head. Not a lot, just a whisper- but enough to cycle my compressor and make me wonder about the tool's longevity.

Despite the cons, it drove the cleats flawlessly and never misfired. I would purchase this again, given the price and balancing the use I would get from it Vs. renting costs.

UPDATE -01/2010

After having written my review I received a very nice, and unsolicited, note from the manufacturer. They were kind enough, based upon my review, to fully repair the small issues I was having with my tool. When was the last time a manufacturer rung you up and offered to fix what was wrong with your tool without having to spend hours on hold or navigating a phone tree? THAT is customer service, folks. Got the tool back in double time: baseplate screws fixed, and rebuilt with new seals. I tried it immediately and it performed flawlessly, as it was before. (remember, it performed perfectly before, with no misfires, even when the nails ran out of the magazine) It is rare indeed to find a company willing to stand behind their product these days, let alone to this extent. I am impressed. Curious to know whether new buyers experience too-tight screws on the baseplate or whether they have actually changed the manufacturing process. Pros: Seriously consider this tool.

A decent floor nailer and a great value, especially with the ability to use either cleats or staples. The construction of the nailer was solid and well made. I was however disappointed in the mallet, the wooden handle was very loose and not well finished and doubt it would hold up well in the long run, fortunately, I recently purchased a Stanley graphite handled mallet and have used that.

The nailer arrived in just under a week and I was ready to start putting down my bamboo floor. The base plate needed to be changed (bamboo is 5/8" vice 3/4" for most hardwoods), but was quickly accomplished by removing the 4 allen screws with the wrench supplied. After adding a few drops of oil, I made a few test nailings and was pleased that no further adjustments were necessary. The nails were set perfectly in the tongues of the bamboo. The starting wall clearance was excellent, with the 3 5/8" wide bamboo, I was able to use the nailer on the second row! Do be careful when installing bamboo as the nailer needs to be set flat and square to prevent damage to the edges.

I did run into one nail jam as most floor nailers are infamous for. It occured between two strips of cleats. It took about five minutes to clear the jam (breaking out the directions just to be sure). Future jams could easily be accomplished in under two.

I've only installed about 150 square feet, but so far I've been very happy with the performance of the nailer.

Awesome...I have been renting guns for years and decided to buy this one before installing about 500 SF in my house. I am a homeowner - not a pro - but I have installed thousands of feet of wood. I wish I bought this gun a few years ago. Not a single miss-fire, as a result of the gun, in 500 SF. I have never had a more consistent floor nailer. The gun is easy to use and really does not require a hard hit to work. If you are planning to install any decent quantity of wood, I would highly recommend this unit over renting. Good Luck!

During a major remodeling job of our home, we hired a carpenter crew, that was well respected in our area. They put down the hardwood flooring in our kitchen and dining room area with a regular air nailer. We noticed after a couple of weeks that the floor made squeaky noices when we walked on it.

Having to still complete another area with the same hardwood flooring, we decided to try and do it ourselves. So to Amazon.com we went and purchased the Akuzuki nailer. Upon arrival we began the project. We found the recommendations on Amazon from other buyers to be true and the instructions in the box were easy to follow. Within a couple of days our flooring was down and it doesn't squeak. It looks really professional.

Thank you for offering a great product.

Vincent Price

After I saw the "Mad Magician" when I was 14, I became a Vincent Price fan forever. What a wonderful surprise to discover that he also loved art and cooking! I saw him lecture on art at the University of Kentucky and read his book "I Like What I Know." I was thrilled to buy his cookbook in the late 60's--it has remained one of my most prized possessions. The recipes are just the best, but the real wonderment for me was to see the beautiful full page color plates of his house and his extensive collection of plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. All sorts of things I had never heard of at the time. Just wonder-full. So not only did I enjoy your movies and cooking expertise, I felt that I shared in a part of your life, too. Thank you and God bless you, Vincent! Mary and Vincent Price's Come into the Kitchen Cook Book ( A collector's treasury of America's great recipes)

I've been looking for this book for many years, and infortunatly I coudln't find it. I hope, Amazon.com can to find it for me. I will be very glad for your help. thank you. (SORRY, BUT I'M LEARNING ENGLISH)'

Bracketron - mounts, electronic device holder

I needed a mount for my iphone and ipod classic, so the mount i was looking for needed to be universal, and I didn't want to mount it on the windshield so I decided to get this mount for the cupholder. it does exactly what its supposed to, it holds the device in place while I drive. I can plug in the ac adapter to my devices while they're in the mount too. There's alot of adjustments, so it should fit just about any handheld device out there, it also comes with velcro for the bottom and a seperate attachment if you want to use a satellite radio or gps. To me they have thought of everything, and at this price point I would suggest it to anyone. Bracketron UCH-100-BL Universal Cup-iT Mount with Grip-iT for GPS

Unit locks into a deep cupholder very well to hold any electronics without shaking or rattling. I drive a Dodge diesel truck (maybe one of the shakiest non-commercial trucks around) and it holds up great, never dumps my phone and stays out of the way of my gearbox/stick. Reccomended

Generally, I like this cupholder mount. It is more gentle on my iPhone 4 than my previous Belkin mount, which broke in less than a month after purchase. My only complaint with this mount is that it does not remain firmly in the cupholder - i.e. the base wobbles a bit in the cupholder. Otherwise, very solid product.

The price being very low caused me to almost not order it. It is the best buy I have every made for a car mount. Fits cup holders perfect as advertised. Holds my iphone4 perfect. Great product for a great price.

Description omits major feature, that the neck rod is flexible but stiff, for different angle orientations such as face-up.

Also this holder is one which can grip a small clamshell type cellphone properly, not pressing little side buttons -- which some cannot.

This is a great product I'm sure for larger vehicles with better placed cup holders. I however drive a Grand Am and I can't us this in my car. The way my cup holders are placed this gets in the way of either my arm or I'm unable to put my car in "park" because it's gets in the way of my shifter. I was hoping not to have to use a holder attached to my windshield but it looks like that will be my only option with my car. - Mounts - Electronic Device Holder'

Boxing

When John Salley was playing for the Detroit Pistons he said of the NBA's roughness that "the only way to learn how to fight is by getting beat up." And so the only way to learn about man's attraction and obsession with climbing into the ring - short of doing it yourself - is by reading "This Bloody Mary Is The Last Thing I Own." Jonathan Rendall uses a master storyteller's touch to introduce real-life great characters whom anyone will find interesting and compelling regardless of whether they're fans of the sweet science, or hate boxing completely. "This Bloody Mary" not only tells the story of legendary brawlers like Kid Chocolate and Jack "Kid" Berg but explains with the casualness of a kindly stranger seated next to you at a bar why some men like to fight, why others have to fight, and why nearly every one of them - in the end - eventually wants to stop fighting. From a sweaty gym at Oxford, to the bright lights of Las Vegas, to the ruins of the Polo Grounds in New York City - "This Bloody Mary" takes you on a trip through boxing's highs and lows and lets us peer into the hearts and minds of the men who just keep fighting. Don't pass it up. This Bloody Mary Is the Last Thing I Own: A Journey to the End of Boxing

Very enjoyable read wether you are into boxing or not. Many anecdotes on travels, famous and not so famous people who add color to this well written and entertaining read. Shows some of the questionable business practices at the top of any profession and shows a glimpse at what it's like to manage a profesional athlete to the top and all that comes with that too. You will turn the pages one by one once you get started...

This book describes the experiences of a young writer who fell in love with the art of boxing at an early age, fought and was badly beaten while at University, and was then able to realise his dream of managing a talented fighter to a World title. At once engaging, but also very funny, this is an extraordinary insight to the rather seedy world in which Rendall found himself. What makes it perhaps unique is the way in which he describes his upbringing, the places he visited (Las Vegas),and the characters he met (the "astonishing" Jack Kid Berg) I could not put it down and read it in one night. Not just for boxing fans - this is a great story about life and a great one for the beach this summer.

This is a non-fiction book about the fight game by a guy who goes from easily beaten young college fighter to professional sportswriter to manager of a world champion, and the people he meets and things he sees along the way. There are many heart-wrenching sequences set in and out of the ring, some great fear, great exhiliration, and great sadness. This guy's powers of observation and description powers are phenomenal. This one really hit me hard.

This guy has a gift for the scary. His search for old-time legend Kid Chocolate in Cuba is lively and colorful and time and again unsettling and nerve-wracking. His getting helplessly caught up in the wrong party with the wrong, and very unsavory, people, while safety helplessly and unstoppably drifts away as if in slow motion, makes for a vivid, torturous waking nightmare.

But he's also funny. His description of the dressing down of a prime Sony Liston by the a tiny tough as nails ex-pro and streetfighter provides an absolutely hilarious come-uppance of the legendary thug by someone who wouldn't put up with a bit of it no matter how small he was nor how big and sure of himself was the heavyweight champion of the world.

Rendall manages to capture the terrible liveliness of the world of boxing in writing whose keen observation and honesty lays both himself and his subject almost uncomfortably bare. Here is a man who has truly felt what he has written about, and takes us to places we can't help but be fascinated by but are grateful to encounter only on a well-written page.

Funny book, great perspective on boxing, I just wish he'd put a bit more about some of the incidents he witnessed and people he met. The talk about the trip to Cuba was pretty saddening. Quite different from standard boxing books, but very enjoyable!

This was a strange book as the first half of it was excellent and the author spun some interesting tales about a pair of old-time boxers and the rise of his own boxer.

Then at about the half-way mark, the lustre of the book seems to fade and it becomes fairly mundane. It is almost as if the author lost the energy to write as well as he had for the second half as he did for the first half.

Disappointing.

The underside of the boxing world from seedy gyms in London and NY to the Vegas fight scene is examined in this book. It is interesting for even a casual boxing fan because it describes how boxing chews people up and spits them out. Very few recieve the lasting notoriety of an Ali or a Foreman. The death this week of Jerry Quarry who suffered terribly from brain damage sustained during his boxing career and the sad stories in this book have convinced me that boxing should be banned.'

Worx Leaf F Blower - worx, leaf blower

this product is a cool idea...a leaf blower that turns vacuum w/the flip of a switch. Problem is, it doesn't do it nearly as well as it could or should. First, the impeller is plastic. One errant rock or hard piece of bark sucked up in the vacuum, and expect your blades to chip. Mine chipped on the first use. Next, the bag is problematic. It's easy to click into place, but very difficult to dislodge. Mine just would not budge at all. No amount of force, or coaxing or balance could get the bag off. I have read other people have had the same problem. Finally, the design. The end of the unit is angled up. Which seems like a good idea until you use it. Because the motor is the heaviest feature, the unit naturally wants to tip backward in your hand--the opposite direction of the angle on the nozzle. It just means your hand/forearm gets tired a lot quicker. the power of the blower/vac is pretty decent. But that's about all I can say for this gadget. For the money, I expected better. A lot better. I sent this back, and bought a Toro Ultra for $20 less. It doesn't have that "one touch" toggling between blower and vac, but it does have a metal impeller, is simple to assemble and use, weighs less, mulches great, has variable speed and doesn't have nearly the "hang ups" that this unit has. WORX TriVac WG500 12 amp All-in-One Electric Blower/Mulcher/Vacuum

After the second use the zipper on the bag broke. Contacting customer service has been a nightmare. They don't answer the phone and a machine asks you to leave a call back number, which they say they will return in 24-48 hours, never happened. Finally after 2 weeks I finally got a hold of someone. They would not provide me with a phone # that was not a 1-800 number or physical address for their company or let me talk to a supervisor (said they were all busy on other phone calls. They did consent to replace the bag, but I am not sure this is a good idea if their customer service stinks. Seriously considering returning the whole unit.

The Worx All-in-One Electric B/M/V is good and strong, but may not be dependable for more than quick clean ups. My experience with the machine is that it has a strong motor and worked very well for about two hours. The plastic impeller is it's achilies heel. I found that it chipped easily and the machine lost a great deal of its power fairly quickly.

The Worx warranty is a good one and the company honored it with a replacement unit.

This is an awesome machine ! ! I previously have owned a Craftsman and a Toro blower/mulcher. I knew it was a pain to switch the attachments to mulch versus blow. But now that I have the flip of a switch operation, I would not want to go back.

Previous reviews mentioned a negative of the plastic impeller. I trimmed 24 landscaping bushes (spirea, euyonomus, holly, barberrrys and such) and mulched the trimmings. I had to stop one time as a pretty big piece of cypress mulch got lodged in the impeller. I have never owned any gas operated models before but I think it handled it all well.

I love mine ! !

I just bought a house and needed a leaf blower now that fall is here. I just happened to see an infomercial for this on Saturday and saw it in Sears on Sunday, and am returning it on Tuesday.

As a blower... WORTHLESS!

As a vacuum... not terrible if you only have a tiny amount of leaves.

As a mulcher... well, it did chop up those leaves pretty well.

Overall, great is you're a 90 year old woman looking to clear a dozen leaves from her patio.

Completely worthless if you are anyone else.

The Worx TriVac definitely is a jack of all trades. It does everything it says it does, however, don't expect to be blown away! The power in this unit is OK at best. Don't get me wrong, it does vacuum and blow, but the power isn't anything to brag about. You really have to be right on top of the leaves to suck them in and not much range in the blower. However, it does mulch the leaves to extremely tiny particles which makes for a great mulch or fill. I would recomend this product to a guy that wants to vacuum up and mulch the leaves, while occasionally blowing certain areas. This is not a product to buy if you mainly blow the leaves; in that case, get a more powerful blower only model. I also would not recommend this product to a woman of petite stature as this product is definitely a bit heavy and not the most comfortable.

Having over an acre to clean up, I found the blower lacked power compared to my old, cheap Toro. The switch from blow to vac is nice but I need the ability to blow a lot of leaves more than I need to suck them up. It's probably going back. I also found it heavy and cumbersome.

I purchased this item after seeing it on a TV ad. And I must say, it's just as it was advertised - a rarity. I'm 67 years old and I can manipulate the TriVac with ease. It wasn't heavy or cumbersome at all. When you set it on "full-blow," it really moves the leaves. And I really like the ability to switch from blower to vac/mulch with the flip of a switch. I was able to suck up a large pile of leaves in a very short amount of time. Of course, I had to fight with my grandkids because they wanted to jump in the pile of leaves, but that's another matter.

I did think the 10 to 1 bagging ratio was a bit overblown, but I was able to put all of the leaves in my back yard (a good size yard) into one 55 gal liner bag. So I guess they were correct on that as well.

I only have one concern. I wish the fan was made of metal rather than plastic. While Customer Service said the fan was made of hardened plastic, I wish they would offer a metal fan as a replacement. However, since the plastic replacement fan is only $9.00, it's not a bad deal if it has to be replaced.

Other than my one concern, I'd give it high marks. - Electric Blower - Leaf Mulcher - Worx - Leaf Blower'

Fishing Equipment - knots, lures

Although not an expansive collection of every knot in the world, this book contains a library of many useful knots for nearly every fishing application. It's descriptions of the knots are clear and illustrated quite nicely. It certainly contains more knots than I would ever use in my lifetime.

If you're looking for every obscure knot in the universe, look elsewhere. If you want a simple description of knots with clear illustrations, then you've found a winner with this book. It's one that I will refer back to for many years. Complete Book of Fishing Knots, Lines, and Leaders

Nice book. BUT - I don't agree to be "complete" book for knots and information. Nice pictures, but again lack of knot varities or quantities. Some knots are complicated and don't show detail information or enough steps to finish the knot. They are missing some very good and important knots. Again - it's a good "not so comlete" book.

In knot tying I would definitely say that a picture is worth 1,00 words. The pictures are horrible. They are in black and white which wouldn't be that bad, but they decided to use a black background along with black rope to show you how to tie a lot of the knots. You can't distinguish between the rope and the background half the time. I would not suggest wasting your money on this. You are better off googling the knots and learning them at home. They have way better animated videos on how to tie which ever knot you are looking for online.

This review is for the Kindle Edition. I was excited to have a knot book that was always on hand. I read the table of contents and knew of 1/2 dozen knots that were in the book, that I've used before and needed a ready reference for. Unfortunately the Kindle Edition of this book is not worth getting. The diagrams are illegible. They consist of dark gray line on a light gray background and you can't distinguish what is being done with the line. Big disappointment. I've already emailed amazon to return (It took me longer to figure out how to do that than it did to decide to return it). - Outdoors - Lures - Pocket Guide - Knots'

Finis Snorkel

great training aid. The junior one is good for kids under age 10. Bigger kids or adults are going to need the adult size to keep water out. I also have an adult size for myself-I find I need a nose clip (speedo works well) for flip turns. You will need to use your streamlined arms to hold the snorkel straight on the push after the turn! FINIS Junior Swimmer's Snorkel

I have 4 swimmers in my family. My middle child uses this snorkel (she's a tall 10 yo) She probably could have went with the normal size snorkel, but then it's harder to master - especially during those flip turns. She's a great swimmer, and the snorkel (when her coach makes her use it) has her focusing more on her stroke, and less on her breathing. I've also notice that she doesn't bounce as much when she uses it - because if she bounces, she'll get water in the tube. DO NOT get the insert to help keep water out - you're kids lungs will explode while they try to breath air in - with the cap on it's like giving them a bar straw to breath through. Might be a good tool for the older swimmers trying to build up their lungs, but that's something definately not needed until college levels or above.'

Wall Mount - wall mount, cheetah

Two very good mounts. I needed two mounts and I saw two Cheetah Mounts, the APTMMB and APTMM2B. I was not sure which to buy and so I bought one of each. Both of them did a good job - very sturdy and easy to install. I already left a good review for the APTMM2B. The APTMMB also worked. The biggest difference between the two is the part which hangs on the wall. The part which attaches to the back of the TV is literally the same for both. Regarding the wall part, the APTMM2B has 4 pieces which connect together to form a rectangle. Putting these together takes about 2 minutes. The APTMMB instead comes in a larger box and the wall plate is a single piece. My only reason for giving a lower score for the APTMMB is that I did not feel they explained this difference between the two mounts in the item descriptions and I did not think it was right to charge $3 extra for the APTMMB for something that only took 2 minutes to put together. But I guess the fact that the APTMMB wall plate is a single piece and not "assembled" probably does make it a little more secure and easier for a lot of people. So I guess you can decide if the $3 is worth it for you. I hope this does make the difference between the two mounts clearer for future buyers.

On the good side, both mounts shipped quickly, included two levels to help with installation, decent manuals written in English! I could read, and lots of screws options for mounting. By the way, my TVs were both Sharps and they actually already had screws for the wall mount, so I only really used the screws to put the wall pieces into the wall. There were literally like 20 or 30 screws in both mounts plus spacers and washers in case your TV doesn't already have screws like my Sharps, but I did not need them. The boxes were good quality and the mounts shipped double boxed! - something which Amazon always seems to do, but not always their partner sellers. My mounts Did Not ship together which I kind of expected, but the two mount boxes are different sizes and so that may not have been possible.

All in all, I was very happy with the Cheetah mounts. If you are not that handy and like the convenience, I guess you can pay the extra $3 for the APTMMB. For me, if I ever need any more mounts, I will save the $3 and get the APTMM2B model. Either way, they do the job at a crazy low price. Not really sure how these guys make any money. Cheetah Mounts APTMMB 32-55" LCD Flat Screen TV Wall Mount Bracket with Universal Tilt Flush Mount Mounting Brackets for Flat Panel Plasma, LED, & LCD Displays

Great mount. You could hang a volkwagon on the wall. Every kind of screw and bolt you can imagine included. If you don't know the difference between a lag bolt and a molley bolt, get help. If you buy a wagon, barbecue grill, or bicycle, and can't put it together, you probably shouldn't hang anybody's bracket and put your tv on it. This bracket is 30" wide. You shouldn't have trouble with 24" center studs, even if you have to drill a hole. No drill? This is not for you. Use the lag bolts on studs. You could do chin ups on this. I know they include two molleys. Two molley's are not enough on sheetrock. I know they include concrete plugs, I wouldn't use them, could be too short if you are hanging on fireplace. Use longer concrete anchors, and know what you are doing. This bracket might be too big for a 32" tv, not that you couldn't hang it, but you might be able to see the bracket from the sides. I hung a 50" Pani, and yeah they included the screws that fit the back of the tv, in two lengths too. The pocket depth on the Pani screw holes must be 1 1/2". I used the long screws. Oh yeah, there are locking screws on the bottom after you hang your tv. A tornado could take the house, but your TV will still be attached to the wall in Kansas. If none of this has scared you. Buy this bracket. It's a steal. Avoid the yo yo that is selling it for $150.

If you buy a flat-panel TV at one of the big-box stores, they're going to try to sell you a wall-mount costing $200 or more. Don't do it. This mount is affordable, made of high-quality materials, and has a pretty good range of adjustment when it comes to tilting the screen to the right angle for your room. I hung my 46-inch Samsung LCD, and I don't worry about it a bit -- it's very secure, and was simple to install.

After buying my new Sony Bravia 46z4100 I was in the mood to get the perfect mount no matter how much it cost. When I saw the 30 dollar price tag on the Cheetah I almost clicked past it but decided to read some of the positive reviews about the mount. I'm glad I did because I just finished setting it up and couldn't be happier.

The mount was extremely easy to setup. I am severely "mechanically declined" and was a little nervous when unpackaging this mount. The 1 page instruction sheet was simple (as long as you ignore the steps involving connecting the mount to a cement wall). There are at least 4 different screw sizes to use so I didn't have to buy additional hardware to connect it to the mount. I have 24" spacing between studs and because of the elongated holes in the mount there was no trouble getting the bolt into the center of the stud. The really neat thing about the mount is it clips on to the wall bracket so you can slide it to the left and right to reposition it on your wall if you want or easily unmount it. With it on the wall there is still plenty of room to get behind the tv and connect/disconnect cables and adjust the screw that moves the tilt.

Overall I'm extremely pleased with the mount and would strongly recommend this product to people mounting their new flatscreen tv's.

I purchased 2 tilting mounts at seperate times. First, I purchased the Peerless ST660 Universal Tilt Wall Mount for $80. For that item I thought I was getting a great product at a great price. It worked ok, but it was a little difficult to get tilted right, and the tilt was minimal.

Then when I needed a second for a new tv, i searched to see if anything else was available. I came across this Cheetah Mount, but I was reluctant to believe that a tilt for less than $30 could be safe. But after reading all the positive reviews, I gave it a shot. I am very glad I did. This product installed more easily, gives more access space behind the tv to get to the inputs, and is easier to adjust the tilt. It is absolutely just as strong as the Peerless, if not more so. Given all the ridiculously high prices of tilt mounts, I can't believe that Cheetah can do it for so little. This is a 10 star product on a 5 star scale. - Plasma Wall Mount - Cheetah - Tv Mount - Wall Mount'
