Rechargeable Flashlights - mag lite, flashlight
The Maglite rechargable flashlite is one of the finist flashlights available. It's no wonder Police, Fire, Rescue, Home Inspectors, etc use this light. It's 30,000 lumen light is so bright that you can see it even on a sunny day. It's equally impressive at night also. That said, the batteries only last between two and seven years depending on use. With daily use as a home inspector they usually lasted two to two and half years with daily recharging. Since getting out of that business five years ago I've used the flashlite like most families, ocasionally as needed and when my grand children liked to remind me how bright they are. They too were quite impressed with them. Let me tell you - you get used to not having to replace batteries in your flashlite. But like all things; nothing last forever. But recently I finally tired of having one dim flash light that needed regular recharging ( I own three ). I asked my wife who's always out and about to stop by a national tool and electric franchise to pick me up a replacement battery. Fortunetly the sales clerk couldn't figure out which battery was correct and when she got home and reminded me how much they charge for em I said "well let's look on line". Good thing cause Amazon sells them for half as much. When I pulled my old battery I saw that I had wriitten the purchase date of Aug 03 on it. So there you have it. I used that light for two years professionally and four and half years as Harry Home Owner. So, are they worth it? you betcha. If you want to buy one flashlight that will serve you for likely the rest of your life, buy a Maglite rechargable and note the date of purchase on the battery. It's nice to be reminded years later how long it worked. Good luck. d Maglite ARXX235 NiHM Replacement Flashlight Battery
Although I have recently received this product, I anticipate no problems. I had bought a Nickel Cadmium replacement battery for my Mag rechargeable flashlight earlier last year. Since then, I have acquired another flashlight (needing a replacement battery) identical to this one, so I swapped the NiCd battery to the new light, and replaced my original light with the NiMH battery. So far, no issues. It has held a good charge so far, but I really haven't used it long enough to deplete it. So time will tell to prove the NiMH vs. the NiCd as being a better value for the money, but so far, so good.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went to order a new maglite battery for my rechargable and I now see the battery is not ni-cad but NiHM. It was about time! Serisouly. I love this new battery. Lasts longer and it seems just a tad brighter for the full battery lifespan between charges. I highly recommend this.
This battery fits my flashlight perfectly. I was glad to see this replacement available, as it should last a lot longer than my old battery. The price through Amazon was much better than through other merchants.
Seems to put out a "brighter" light than my old battery, but it should-right? The real test will be after a few years. Wish I had dated my old battery but I think it lasted 5 years or longer. I put the date installed on this battery with a "sharpie". I expect it to last at least as long as the old one. - Flashlight - Rechargeable Batteries - Battery Packs - Mag Lite'

Palm Pre Charger - palm pre charger, palm pre
This dock (hockey puck) is great if you want to add a second location (office/car) to charge your touchstone-enabled Palm Pre.
If you have not yet bought any touchstone stuff, then do not buy this. You should first buy the touchstone kit Palm Pre Touchstone Kit which includes the back panel and one dock.
The confusing thing for many is powering the puck, as this dock does NOT include any cables.
The instructions state that you should not connect this dock to the USB port on your computer. The dock should be connected to an A/C power source; I hear a car charger works, as well. If you plan to buy this as a second charging location, then you're already using the cables/AC that came with your phone for your first dock. So after you buy this dock, you'll also need to buy either (a) a car charging kit or (b) a micro-USB cable and AC adapter to power this second dock. Palm Touchstone Charging Dock for Palm Pre and Palm Pixi
If you have the Verizon Pre Plus, ignore those saying this isn't "the kit" because you already have everything you need. The Verizon Pre comes with the Touchstone back plate, whereas the Sprint version doesn't.
I have the Verizon Pre Plus, which comes with the Touchstone compatible cover, but not the actual Touchstone. This works perfectly, right out of the box. It also works with the car adapter. It works great in the car because the bottom has a tacky surface like sticky notes, so it stays on my dashboard or shift console, making it easy to use and keeping it from sliding around and falling on the floor.
I was skeptical about whether this was worth having. Once I tried it, I am hooked. I wish it came with the phone, because it's definitely one of the best features of the Pre, by keeping it a truly wireless phone.
Well worth the Amazon price (cheaper than Verizon), and something every Verizon Pre owner should get. HIghly recommended!
The touchstone is great, but as others have written, know that this one doesn't come with the magnetic Pre back cover (which is needed to charge the phone) or a charger or a charger cable. You need these separately, either taken from your primary setup or bought separately.
What hasn't been mentioned already is NOT EVERY USB charger will work with Touchstone. Only certain chargers provide enough "juice" and only certain cables actually fit the microUSB slot.
Check forums like PreCentral d o t net for a list of compatible adapters.
As a device, it's wonderful, just know what you're getting.
The Touchstone is everything I wanted it to do EXCEPT for one big problem --- if I leave my Palm Pre phone on the Touchstone when the charge has completed, the phone keeps sounding "battery charging" constantly. I read about this problem from other reviewers and was crossing my fingers when I bought the product, hoping it will not happen to me. Unfortunately I have the same problem. I tried to adjust the phone position on the Touchstone, but nothing helped. If this is something a software upgrade can resolve, I hope Palm will release such a solution very quickly. This same problem does not occur if I charge the phone directly with the USB wire. Really annoying and with this problem, it is not worth to buy the Touchstone.
Jan 17, 2010. Finally I replaced the Touchstone and the backing plate for Pre. What a difference in performance! The Touchstone is charging properly as it should. No more annoying charging tone every 15 seconds. No more power drainage when I leave the phone on the Touchstone overnight. I am happy that Amazon did the replacement for me so quickly and without hazzles. Not sure what's wrong with the original Touchstone -- whether the problem is with the Touchstone or with the backing plate or both. But I am rating the Touchstone a 5 now.
IMPORTANT: As other reviewers have stated, don't buy this Touchstone unless you already bought the Touchstone Kit!! You need the replacement back for your Pre to use this! *Edit- Palm Pre Plus and possibly others already include the touchstone back.
Good's:
- Sticky Back: I originally stuck the touchstone on a wood dresser next to my bed, re-stuck it vertically on the side of my desk about 2 months ago, and so far it has not fallen. It feels secure, but I would be a little nervous if there wasn't 1/2" carpet on the floor.
- Charge is fast. 2 hours gets it from dead to full.
Bad's:
- Makes a very quiet buzz and I do not suggest having it near your head while you sleep!! When I first put the Touchstone near my bed I kept waking up at 1am wondering what was making that strange noise. If you have any ambient sound, or if your touchstone is more than ~5 feet away, you won't notice it. If not, expect an almost inaudible, but still terribly annoying, "mmzzzzpmf... mmzzzpmf" every 2 seconds.
- Like the kit, no cord. What a pain!!
- For vertical users (like me), it would be nice if the magnet was a bit stronger. I wish I could haphazardly slap the Pre on, but instead have to set it on and very slowly pull by hand away to make sure it is centered.
PRE PLUS COMES WITH INDUCTION COVER
Unlike the Sprint Pre buyers, the Verizon Pre Plus (mine at least) comes with the induction back cover. I believe this can be distinguished by the matte (versus gloss) finish but I am not sure. You can definitely tell by looking at the inside of the cover as mine has a very obvious circular induction area with a pair of brassy contacts where it transfers the power to the phone.
DOES NOT COME WITH WALL PLUG
Just in case it's not obvious in the product listing, this includes ONLY the hockey puck shaped component. It does not come with any cables or wall jacks. It is compatible with your stock cable and plug, but see next section for additional detail.
QUIRKLY MICRO-USB PORT
As others have noted, the micro-USB port is deeply recessed so you must have a compatible cable that fits into the slot. Obviously the stock cable fits. In my case, the other (non-fitting) cable I purchased will be in my breifcase so I can use the original cable/wall plug with my touchstone. If you are not using stock Palm Parts (cable and wall outlet thing), you should also read other reviews as some report that some USB plug/converters don't work.
SCREEN STAYS ON WHILE CHARGING
As of this review (March 9, 2010), the LCD display will remain on (at minimum showing the clock, notifications, and the lock button) when placed on a touchstone charger. There is no option to change this. The theory is good as this provides a clock. However, I have sleeping issues and prefer a pitch black room (I even turn clocks away/down) and the light generated by the LCD bothers me. I'm not the only to report this difficulty (forums confirmed it when I looked for a work-around) so keep this in mind if you want to charge bedside and light bothers you. By contrast, if you charge with the cable only, the LCD will go fully black -- also saving you the cost of the touchstone.
SUMMARY
I still gave it 5 stars because none of these FYIs are really complaints about the product itself, just things for buyers to keep in mind when deciding for/against the touchstone. - Palm Pre Charger - Chargers - Pre Accessories - Palm Pre'

Bluetooth Speakers - sounddock, bluetooth speakers
I can't believe I spent $150 on this thing! You would think Bose would have at least tested this. We live in a quiet neighborhood with very little wireless activity so that isn't the reason this thing sounds so bad. It's just terrible implementation. If I were you, just plug in your Ipod or Iphone into the SD 10. Please don't buy this. I am normally a huge Bose fan, but this time they really dropped the ball.
I tried everything including calling Bose and they admitted that you are going to notice "some" loss in quality. They need to go back to the drawing board with this one. I am normally a fan of Bose products, but seriously?? Last thing, they say you get 30 ft. distance with this. Nope, literally within 15 feet, the music cuts out and sounds like pure static. Don't do it, I warned you. Bose® SoundDock® 10 Bluetooth® dock
I think the majority of complaints people will have with this device regard its range. Remember, Bluetooth is SHORT range radio. So this works awesome in the 10 meter / 30 feet range. But if you're halfway across the house, it's probably going to suck.
I was apprehensive about buying this because a couple people complained about interference. However, the Bose store promised I could return it if it didn't work, so I bought it. Setup was super easy, and I was playing my kids favorite music in no time. The device is setup right by our wireless router, XBOX, etc. I decided that a simultaneous "Speed Test" from two different wirelessly connected computers would spit out lots of radio signals and interference. Guess what? The Bluetooth SoundDock 10 kept right on playing the music, absolutely without a hitch.
Couldn't recommend this product more highly. I love the SoundDock 10, but in the store we were trying it out and my son snatched the iPhone out of the player. Not the best behavior ... but probably more likely than not with kids. This lets you have your iPhone or iPod wherever you want ... and not attached to the player.
Highly recommended for wireless playback. Sounds absolutely great, and I cannot tell a difference between the wireless Bluetooth connection and a wired connection. It's that good. Just remember, it's not meant for a long distance connection. This is a short range, wireless connection. So keep your phone or player in the same room (that is what Bluetooth is for, after all) and you'll have no troubles.
In my opinion, this is a very neat attachment to the Sound Dock 10 if you don't want to be tied down.
I generally use the SD10 with my iPhone 3GS and i love the fact that my phone stays with me and i can still play music from it from a reasonable distance.
If you can afford it, it's a lovely extra you might want to invest it.
i like it!!!
Fantastic item!!! I was very concerned prior to buying the bluetooth for my sound dock 10 after reading the only review i could find in which the gentleman completely blasted the product and claimed that Bose had dropped the ball. This is NOT the case in my opinion. I have been using the bluethooth to connect my Blackberry Tour to the bose Sound Dock 10. The sound quality is unbelievable and am able to roam freely around the majority of my 2 story home (2800 sq. ft.). Granted my home has a fairly open floor plan and my Bose Sound Dock 10 is centrally located within the home. I could not be more happy with this product!
We have several devices that allow you to pair them with others by Bluetooth and this seemed like the perfect item to add to the Bose SoundDock 10, which we had already decided to purchase. It was a little frustrating to remember that you must turn off one device when you are finished listening in order to pair it with another device. But when my music starts playing down the hall on my "smartphone" it gives me a little chuckle as I search for the phone to turn off the Bluetooth on that device. :) Still, a terrific accessory to add!
I use this BT adapter with my SD10 and Droid, and it's probably the best BT receiver that I've ever used. Perfect sound and I get around 40ft of distance with Pandora. It's makes for a great sound system.
Purchased because we have a number of Bluetooth devices (including iPad, iPhone, iTouch and Blackberry Torch) that we wanted to use and having the Sounddock on top of the fridge is not friendly for controlling the iPod.
1) irritating to have pay $150 for something that should cost $50-60, but that's Bose,
2) works well and range in my house has been well more than 30 feet. The signal becomes challenged with multiple walls however,
3) using the iPod while not being 'trapped' in the dock is much more music friendly for switching around songs,
4) pairing is simple, but can cause some irritation with multiple devices: it helps having Bluetooth turned off on the devices you don't want to use so the device you want to use is not competing for the connection,
Again, expensive, but it works and makes the Sounddock much more user friendly. - Bluetooth Speakers - Wireless - Sounddock - Bose'

Kindle 2 Book Light - kandle, kindle 2 book light
My wife? Cuddly as a panda cub. She sweetly bought me a Kindle DX for my birthday, but as my late-night reading habit brought unwelcome lamplight to our bed, her temper became violent, mafia violent. "I can't sleep! I'm going to smash your new toy!" she growled one morning with the force of crossed gods and dying suns. A chill swept over the planet. Birds stopped singing. Children paused in playgrounds.
Enter the Kandle. Now I can read in bed (my favorite place in the house) with barely any light spilling over onto my wife's eyelids. The bedside lamp stays dark. No more threats against the Kindle or me.
Suggestion: Clip the Kandle to the side of the DX to illuminate its larger screen. (The bottom of the page is a tad dark if the Kandle is placed along the top of the DX.) Kandle by Ozeri LED Book Light in White -- Designed for the Amazon Kindle (1st and latest generation), Sony Reader and other eBook readers.
OK. I like it, and I'm going to keep it, but just because, IMO, it is better than the competition doesn't mean that it's perfect. From all the 5 star reviews was prepared to think it the greatest thing since sliced bread.
The clip is good. It will fit on the kindle and is versatile enough that even with a cover will either fit over both or slip between the cover and kindle. I'm a little worried about how durable the "spring clip" is. It's a clothes pin design.
Mine did come with batteries installed, but no extra batteries...as many people have mentioned that they received. It takes two 3V CR2032 batteries. Pamphlet says they last 25 hours. I did look up and Amazon sells 25 for $5.81, so not bad. However, to change the batteries you have to have one of those tiny philips head screw drivers to open and close the battery compartment.
Also, I have the smaller kindle. It does not have hot spots nor areas it doesn't cover, but there are certainly areas that are darker than others. It makes me wonder how it would do on the DX.
I know that I've pointed out the negatives, but there are many things that I like. They've been pretty well covered in the 5 stars, but one thing I do like is that when you close it up, it is sturdy. I would feel comfortable just sticking it in my pocket and it being comfortable that it wouldn't get damaged. I think that's a huge plus.
I spent a lot of time researching booklights for my kindle (6" global) and checked the Lightwedge and some Mighty Bright designs (which got superb reviews) at a local Barnes & Nobles store before purchasing this product. The size, design, and features of the kandle pretty much match everything I want in a kindle booklight:
*Lightweight and compact (if you have a lot of electronic gadgets, cables, and chargers to always pack, this makes a huge difference)
*Flat and rectangular clip-on (easy to fit in a jacket pocket or flat zip-case, unlike traditional, bulky desk lamp designs)
*Cordless (no long neck to stuff or tangle in my bags)
*Adjustable lighting angles (There are many ways to illuminate the entire reading area to achieve the desired lighting intensity and also minimize impact on people next to you, whether you're in bed or on the plane)
The kandle is very versatile and portable and will work great with clipboards, magazines, and laptop screens as well.
Well worth the investment!
Got this book light for my Kindle reader. Folds down into a nice compact design making it easy for carrying. My other book light was always getitng tangled up and kept on turning on by itself in my bag causing the batteries to run out. This one attaches securely to my kindle and doesnt move around like the other one I have. This one also matches the Kindle color.
I bought this for my Kindle after using the Mighty Bright and boy is the "Kandle" a hell of alot better!
This one actually stays on Kindle alot better than the mighty Bright. And its surprisingly small. I would definatley recommend this to all Kindle users!
As with any ebook reader that uses the E Ink technolgy, you need a light to read at night. The Kandle solves this problem in a very convenient and easy way. The biggest complaint i've had with other booklight I've used with the Kindle was that the light would never stay on as securely as I would have liked. The Kandle book light stays on tight, and the lights are very bright too. If you like to read the Kindle at night, this is the best accessory you can have.
I recently purchased this Kandle to use with my Kindle. It is compact. Folds up nicely, easily fitting into a purse or drawer. It's lights are bright enough to read the entire screen without glare. A big bonus was that it came installed with batteries and an extra set of replacement batteries as well. I made an inquiry to the company regarding the delivery date of my Kandle and received excellent service. Their reply was prompt, courteous and very informative. I would recommend this product to anyone needing illumination for their Kindle and I would definitely recommend this company for fast, courteous and quality service. - Kandle - Reading Light - Kindle Accessory - Kindle 2 Book Light'

Xoom Keyboard
I got this keyboard the day after I got my Xoom. I wasn't sure how useful it would be, but I do a lot of email so I decided to give it a try. Right after I got the bluetooth configured, I realized it was certainly worth the money. The keyboard has special Android specific keys such as all of the "hard keys" (back, home, menu, and search) that are on an Android phone as well as others that make it so you can use the keyboard to do a lot of your navigating, not just typing. The keyboard is well made and the keys are sturdy. If you are going to use your Xoom for work, this is an accessory you will want. Motorola Wireless Keyboard for Motorola ATRIX and XOOM (Motorola Retail Packaging)
Its a great keyboard haven't used it on the xoom yet but i have used it on driod x from Motorola it works great for typing but the keyboard shortcuts don't work with the droid x i will write another review for this product when i get the xoom.
I pre-ordered a Xoom and picked it up on launch day, and since the store I got it from didn't have a keyboard, I headed to the nearest Verizon Wireless store and luckily they did have one. In my opinion, anyone that does a lot of typing really needs one of these. It's small enough to take with you most everywhere, connects very easily, and has numerous shortcut keys that work with the Xoom operating system for items like opening email, browser, adjusting volume, etc...
I bought a Incase Nylon Sleeve for 13" MacBook and it works great for my Xoom. Incase Nylon Sleeve for 13" MacBook It holds my Xoom in the large pocket and has enough room to spare for some file folders and files. the back velcro pocket holds the keyboard perfectly, and the front pockets work great for holding some screen cleaner and micro fiber cloths in one pocket and misc. cables in the other. This makes carrying my xoom and keyboard around very easy, and is a major compliment to my xoom.
Overall it is a bit on the pricey side, but if you need to type, it's so much faster and more comfortable on a keyboard than on the screen. I use the Xoom portfolio case Motorola Protective Portfolio Case for MOTOROLA XOOM (Motorola Retail Packaging)and it holds the xoom at a perfect angle, and the battery bump on the back of the keyboard fits over the flap of the case to create a little netbook look, very convenient!
I also was curious and paired this with my Droid X and it worked great as well!
I bought this keyboard for my Xoom. I purchased it a week prior to see if it would work on my ideapad s10-3t, ipod touch, and HTC-Incredible. And it worked great, here and there the signal gets lost and needs a minute to reconnect if you stop typing for more than 30 seconds but that is just a small annoyance. Otherwise it works great responsive light nice layout. Now you may be wondering if the shortcut keys work on windows and it does. The back arrow is escape the android menu button is the windows menu button and a few android keys don't work on windows but most do just a small learning curve. As for the ipod touch a few worked but it was meant for android. My final thoughts this is a great but pricey keyboard if you have the galaxy tab, xoom, or android smart phone this is a worthy purchase and the fact it is compatible with windows and apple products just boost its value. The only reason I gave it a 4 was that 30 second disconnect issue.
I don't usually like the chicklet type of keys on my keyboards, but I have to make an exception for this one. The keys are very well placed and are easy to use for touch typing. I love how this keyboard has all of the functionality keys that go into making this the perfect keyboard for the Xoom tablet. It's very thin and although I suppose you could take this with you, I prefer leaving it at my desk for when I'm home and have the Xoom docked into the HD Audio dock I also use.
Well. It is frustrating because I want this keyboard to work, and it does not.
The problem is the keys "stick" (as previously noted in another review. I have tried using compressed air thinking that there might be dust or something under the keys, but this did not help. It was a long shot anyway since it has had this problem since the first time I used the keyboard.
I gave it a three because the concept is great and when it works, it's great. But... that rarely happens.
So, I've had this keyboard for my Xoom for about a month now. And it's really not working out well. Why?
The keys stick. Or at least, the keypress registers as being stuck, and then, you have to disconnect it from Xoom and reconnect. I just wrote a 2 page document and this happend 4 times. It happens every single time I use it. Be it the ., or a space bar press, or just a letter, it registers as being stuck down when in fact it is not.
I actually like the feel of the board itself and I can type very fast on it. But it's failing and failing fast. Not happy about that. I even invested in a nice cover for it through sfbags.com because I wanted to protect it. Now, I'll be looking for another alternative.
Disgusted by the whole experience.'

Ipad 2 Cover - ipad 2 case, ipad 2 cover
I am very pleased I was patient and waited for this IPAD 2 cover to be released. I wanted a cover that would protect both the front and back of the IPAD so I passed on the APPLE electonic cover even though I liked the smart cover option. What a great surprise when I received my rooCase. It not only protects the entire IPAD, it also acts as a smart cover and automatically turns the IPAD on when I open it and puts it to sleep when the cover is closed. It has a nice leather feel and texture and comes in my favorite color - red, but it also comes in black if that's your preference. It's a great buy for the price - much less than the electronic cover and more protective. I was not disappointed in this purchase. rooCASE Dual Station Premium Leather (Red) Case Cover with Stand for Apple iPad 2 Wifi / 3G Model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB
When I purchased the iPad2, I decided not to buy a magnetic cover because I wanted something that will protect both the screen and the ipad body. I searched and searched and when I saw this roocase in amazon, I knew this was the one. Even though I had to wait until the April 11 release date, which meant I had my ipad2 unprotected for almost a month, it was totally worth it. My roocase came in yesterday and its fantastic!
Its not heavy at all. It fits perfectly. Every inch of my new baby is totally protected! Even if I didn't buy the screen shield, the roocase would still have protected my screen. I just chose to put a shield on because my 5-year old loves to play with my ipad and I don't want him getting all kinds of stuff stuck to the screen. lol.
I HIGHLY recommend this product!
We just received this cover for our iPad 2, and are very pleased. It's well made, and covers all the essential access points. Additionally, it is nice to have the magnetized cover and no elastic corners.
I was a little apprehensive when I ordered my roo ipad2 case The Ipad was a gift from my son and he also sent me the red leather Apple cover. I diplomatically explained to him how grateful I was for being so thoughtful ordering me the cover but that I had found one that also covered the back of the ipad for greater protection. The leather is great, the red is beautiful. The iPad fits into it securely and all the buttons are easy to use. When I returned the Apple cover to the Apple store, I showed two of the techs my cover and they wanted to know who made it, where I got it from and the price. They were shocked at the quality. I am a very happy Mom.rooCASE Dual Station Premium Leather (Red) Case Cover with Stand for Apple iPad 2 Wifi / 3G Model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB
This case is indeed a very handsome one. It's stylish and very practical, and the color and texture of the leather very rich. I carry my iPad everywhere I go, and my new case has proven very durable. The flip cover is also sturdy and I can type on my iPad without its collapsing on me. I also appreciate the nice genuine leather with seamless quality stitching. I had been highly awaiting the arrival of my new case (red is my favorite color), and you can trust me when I say I was not disappointed!
This leather, red iPad 2 case is the perfect case. I bought the Apple Smart Cover when I first bought my IPad 2 but didn't like it because it didn't offer any protection whatsoever and it didn't clean up at all so I took it back. I used a slip case until my rooCase came in and my dog knocked my pad out of my hands and it shattered. The replacement iPad 2 came in the same day my rooCase came in. I took it with me to the Apple store. When the Apple guy saw my beautiful leather rooCase AND that it has the MAGNETIC CLOSURE THAT PUTS THE PAD TO SLEEP JUST LIKE THE SMART COVER he kinda freaked out. And especially when he found out that I paid less for it than the Smart Cover.
Also, the flap helps keep the sun off the screen when I'm using it at the pool.
The first time I had to travel with my iPad I had only the cover I bought at the Apple store. It worked great at home but tossing my iPad in my over-sized purse, knowing it was going to be at my feet on the flight, worried me. I was concerned I might accidently step on it! I knew then I needed a more sturdy case. This one fit the bill perfectly! Now when I travel I have no concerns about the safety of the iPad. Love the color as well! The only negative I have is that when using the case as a stand in the more upright position, it is a bit wobbly. It almost feels as though it needs to be taped down to the surface to ensure it won't topple! But as I haven't actually used it that way and probably won't, it's not a real concern for me.
I was going to get the case from Apple, But after reading reviews and compairing prices I decided on this case. Boy was I glad. It is worth twice the money I paid and blows the apple case out of the water!
Definitely a smart case that looks good. It holds the iPad2 nice and snugly and there are holes in all of the right places for the buttons, connector and camera's. I was nicely surprised at the quality of the leather, stitching and overall manufacturing of this unit. I was especially delighted that the rooCASE switched off the screen when I closed the cover using the new iPad2 magnet mechanism. The front cover sits lightly against the unit (due to the leather surround that goes around the perimeter of the iPad2 (to hold it in), this means that you don't get the railway track marks on the screen like the manufacturer case ... yeah !!!. My only concern is that sometimes you have to help it situate when putting it in its most upright position, but that's a small issue in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this case cover. - Ipad 2 Cover - Ipad 2 - Ipad 2 Case - Ipad 2 Accessories'

External Battery Packs - vertical grip, 5d
I purchased this grip while my Canon EOS 5D Mark II was still on preorder. In fact, it arrived a week before the camera did. I did this because I fell in love with the feel of a vertical grip a long time ago, and every camera I've had since then has had one added almost immediately (including: EOS Elan IIe, D-Rebel 300D, 30D, and 40D).
The grip is a real benefit to those like me that have big hands, since all of your fingers can now rest against the camera instead of curling up underneath. It's also a great counterweight when shooting with heavy lenses such as the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L. The arrangement of the vertical shutter release and related buttons on the side makes for very comfortable vertical shooting.
The grip duplicates the shutter button on the lower right corner of the camera, as well as the series of buttons (AF-ON, EL/FEL, and focus point select) that are normally under your right thumb on the camera body. So when you are shooting vertically, all of these buttons are in the standard location and you can shoot as you would horizontally, without having to reach your hand across your forehead to shoot. The grip also has an on/off switch that defeats these buttons when they're not needed, so they aren't accidentally pressed.
The grip accepts one or two LP-E6 batteries, and includes a tray for emergency use that can be loaded with 6 AA batteries. While you can get a couple hundred shots off with the AA's, that number drops off quickly with a lot of LCD use, and there's no point in even TRYING to use the AA's to shoot video. I carry the tray in my bag in the VERY unlikely event that I manage to drain both of my LP-E6's. You can find AA's anywhere in a pinch.
With the two LP-E6's installed, the 5D Mark II will register both of the batteries and list their statistics simultaneously in the Battery Info screen. The Shutter Count numbers even operate independently. For example, after a long day of shooting (over 1500 frames), the Battery Info screen told me that Battery 1 was responsible for 806 frames, while Battery 2 was responsible for 746 frames. At this point, the batteries still showed a 78% charge on each one.
------------
[Edit 01/08/2009] I have a shoot tonight that I need to be safe for, so I'll be charging both of my batteries before I leave. But I wanted to update my battery info for those that are interested in how long two batteries will last: Battery 1: Shutter Count 1400, 60% charge remaining. Battery 2: Shutter Count 1318, 61% remaining.
------------
Grips for lower-end and earlier cameras (such as the grip for my D-Rebel 300D, etc) were made entirely of plastic and had too much flex when attached to the body -- it almost felt like you could break it right off. That is NOT the case with this grip. It feels as solidly built as the camera itself, and there is absolutely zero flex. It is also weather sealed around the buttons, battery compartment and dummy stalk, so you won't need to worry about it being the weak point in your camera's weather sealing.
The bottom of the grip has a fluted rubber base to reduce slippage and a sturdy tripod socket. It also has a strap mount for use with Canon's hand strap (you use the one on the grip, and the right strap mount by the shutter to install the hand strap).
Finally, as is the case with the BG-E2(N) (but not earlier models), there is a spot for you to store the camera's original battery door since it won't be in use while you have the grip attached.
If you have small hands or often worry about camera weight, you may want to try this out in a local camera shop before committing to the (admittedly expensive) purchase. The weight of the grip plus an extra battery is not negligible, and for those with small hands, it may just make the camera unwieldy. Otherwise, you'll want this. Definitely. Canon BG-E6 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark II Digital SLR (Retail Package)
I've always bought battery grips for every Canon dSLR I've owned. Sure, it's an expensive piece of equipment, but if you're spending a lot already on a higher end camera, what's a few hundred more? (as my credit card groans)
The battery grip holds two of the newer Canon LP-E6 Battery Pack for Canon 5D Mark II Digital SLR batteries, and both are registered on the camera so you can see the percentage of charge left. That in itself is amazing - however, it requires you to buy the rather expensive Canon LP-E6 batteries instead of generic equivalents. The grip works fine with generic batteries, but you don't get the detail of percentage left and shutter count.
It also has a battery magazine for holding 6 AA batteries. This is pretty much treated as an emergency effort.
The additional benefit of a battery grip for me is that as a bigger guy with bigger hands, I can't get a good grip of the camera body. And any of the heavier white lenses (70-200's, 100-400) put some serious torque on my wrist so after a day of shooting, I'm sore.
The grip itself is pretty solid, and doesn't feel cheaply made. There's no flex to it when you hold the camera by it and throw it around. The shutter button and the dial to hold in portrait mode is pretty handy, so you're not contorting your right hand to press the shutter.
The only real knock on this is the price. I know, it's well made, but it just seems like an additional insult. Overall this gets 4.5 stars. It's absolutely worth buying, but be prepared to gripe about the price to your fellow 5D Mark II owners. It's a bonding experience. - Vertical Grip - Photography - Digital Slr - 5d'

Full Cut Rain Coat - rain coat, rain gear
Years ago when I was in college, everyone wore the green hooded army surplus raincoats. They had two pockets and a zipper closing. I think they cost all of $7 at the campus bookstore. They were indestructable and absolutely they best in inclement weather. You could where them over a heavy sweater in cold upstate New York and survive the rain, snow and sleet.
I have tried , to no avail, to find them again. This yellow slicker is the closest to those green rubbery slickers. It is fabulous!!
Great buy!!! Under $10. Best wear for venturing out in real sloppy weather either with or without a heavy sweater underneath. CLC Rain Wear R105M .35 MM PVC Trench Coat - Medium
It does smell funny but other wise it is fine for a quick walk in the rain with the dog. Good coverage. It's kind of a slender fit but works for me over a bathrobe or coat. Rounder people may want a different style
I call this my Gorton's fisherman coat. It blocks the wind, it protects me from rain, it practically glows in the dark so drivers can see me if I walk in the dark, gray weather. And can't beat it for the price! Perfect.
This is great for working in the rain: yard, walking your dog, emergency rain jacket, running to the store real quick, in the trunk of your car etc...
This is bad for: Going to work (office), making a fashion statement, wearing over a suit tux or any "nice clothes", going on a date, etc...
Bottom line: buy several for tasks or work in the rain (its only 10 bucks!); If you want a fashionable rain coat, look elsewhere (spend more money! lol)
I do wish it were more knee length instead of mid-calf. But the real problem with it is that it stinks! It isn't just the smell of vinyl; it seems more to have a slight pesticide or mothball smell. I don't mind the smell of vinyl at all, but the other smell is rather off-putting.
The coat I received is chartreuse (safety green) and has grey reflective trim all over it, including a somewhat elaborate chevron type pattern on the back. Those are not the only reasons that I will be returning this coat. The men's medium is still pretty big on me (no smaller size was available); I'm a size 8 woman. The coat is long and close fitting in its cut, without a slit in back. I bought it to use while pushing my kids in the stroller on really rainy Brooklyn days and I think I'd do better with a poncho. It looks like it would be hard to move well in it, though the design probably helps keep you dry.The quality of the material, though heavy, seems very good, and the corduroy collar is a nice touch as that touches your skin. There is no cotton lining, so you definitely want to be wearing clothes on your arms and back rather than have this PVC and poly touching your skin in a rain storm.
I bought it one month ago. After about 3 times use of this rain jacket, left-shoulder to left arm part all were torn. I tried to sew but impossible. I bought another one at amazon. It is on delivery now. But i am so afrsid if 2nd one would tear easily too !
Does amazon have warranty?
My complaint is that the hood of my raincoat will not stay snapped on. I drive a school bus for handicapped children and wanted something easy to slip off and on when loading wheelchair bound children, each time I have had to use it the hood came unsnapped every time I took it off. I don't think I would buy another. - Rain Gear - Rain Coat'

Dslr Camera Case
I had originally bought the Case Logic SLR-1Z Zoom Holster to accommodate my D70 with attached Tamron 28-300 lens, however I found that case had too small of an opening for my camera. So I got the SLRC-201 Zoom and it is much better, the differences between the two cases are:
SLRC-201
1) Larger opening, camera slips in and out with ease.
2) Main compartment zipper is easier to operate.
3) Hammock suspension system is a better design.
4) Base is sturdier and made of better material.
5) Strap is a little longer.
SLR-1Z
1) Strap pad is thicker.
2) Extra pocket on inside flap cover.
3) Although the main zipper is difficult to open, it seems to be more water proof.
4) Has option for belt attachment.
Both of these cases are very well made and great for cameras with attached lenses, if you have a smaller SLR then the 1Z will work for you, however the 201 is much better for a larger SLR camera, hope this helps with your decision. Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster (Black)
I purchased this holster case for a Canon EOS 7D (with the 18-135mm IS 3.5-5.6 lens) when I purchased it. The bag is just the right size for the camera, I have enough space above it to tuck the strap in and zip it up for carrying it around. The pockets on the sides are slightly cramped, but provide ample space for a remote shutter release, lens cloth, miniature tripod, and lens caps. Thus I feel prepared whenever I am shooting.
Now, the caveats to this case:
The 7D is a larger SLR (not the size of the D3 or the 1D, but still hefty) and when you are using the suspension strap, it holds the camera body very close to the top, thus I undid the velcro holding the suspension strap in place, and used a twist tie to keep it from getting tangled up in things.
The strap works well, but is a little thin, and the padded portion tends to slip and slide around, while you can put on a different strap with ease, this is annoying on a case that is meant to hold relatively hefty cameras.
That being said, the case protects the camera extremely well. I have gone skiing with this bag at my side, and had no worries for the camera while on the mountain. If you have anything larger than a 7D, I would suggest you look elsewhere for a case, though if you have any of the smaller nikons or canons, this will do just fine. Overall, I really like it, It's a good size and feels like it keeps my camera well protected.
This is a great case - very nicely designed, well built, looks great, very functional. It is my third Caselogic digital SLR case, purchased because I wanted a holster case for my Nikon D50 with a new, longer 50-200mm zoom lens. I searched around a bit and tried other cases at stores like Best Buy, Ritz photo, and Calumet. This case works great, and has improved several features over my earlier cases (which have worked great for me.) The handle is nicely padded, the "hammock" has a nice Y-shaped cutout extending from the circular lens opening making it very easy to insert and remove my camera without snagging, even with the hood attached in the reverse position. The solid, waterproof base is a nice addition, and allows the case to stand up solidly when placed on a flat surface. Very well made, very well padded, classy and sporty looking at the same time. A great purchase, and also a very good value compare to what else is available.
Usually I carry my cameras around in a cheap insulated soft-side lunchbox - the kind you can get anywhere for less than $10. (They work OK, and they don't look worth stealing which is nice.) Having bought a new DSLR (Nikon D5000) I decided to see if I could find a real camera bag that wasn't too pricey, protected the camera better, had good access and was suitable for moderate exposure to the elements. This one comes very close to all of those requirements.
Pros: Holds the camera securely without requiring excessive handling to retrieve it for use. Has dual zippers so you don't have to remember which side the zipper is on. Has three handy compartments for accessories. The shape fits nicely into niches a rectangular bag would not. The base has a waterproof "shoe" so you can set it down in almost an inch of water without leaking. (Very nice, that last bit. I was traveling in snow and ice in December and sometimes you just have to set it down - if there was snow I just stamped it flat and set the bag down.) Fit and finish seem excellent: at no time have I felt any insecurity about tugging on any of its zippers, flaps or straps.
Cons: The three flap opening in the "hammock" is a bit tight especially if you have a lens shade on your lens. (You can stretch it some, and it will loosen over time anyway.) Depending on your camera it's a bit tricky finding a grip to easily extract the camera from the compartment without accidentally turning a switch or setting dial. (You can upend the bag and the camera will drop out a bit for easier grabbing; an extra half-inch width might have been nice though.) If you have a full sized DSLR this may be more of an issue, if you have smaller hands than I, probably not. Finally, the compartments are fine for a few extra filters, battery, and memory cards, etc., but might be too small for your charger if it's larger than average. (Nikon supplies a charger with a full-length AC cord which makes it a tight fit in this bag.)
Other: No room for a 2nd lens, but that's not the point of this bag. You also don't want to put a long lens on your camera and try to shove it into this bag either. Most reasonable prime and kit lenses should fit just fine, though. (The 18-105 mm Nikon lens, for example, has plenty of room.) Any lens that's about 4.25" or less from lens cap to camera body should be very happy, and the bottom of the case is well padded if it happens to touch that.) The "hammock" can also be unhitched (it's held on one end by Velcro) which makes grabbing the camera out faster, but sacrifices some security. Nice to have the choice, though.
P.S. I repurposed a lunch bag with some cut foam to hold my extra lens, battery charger and other bits for now, but I'm looking at getting this bag's big brother - the one with lens-suitable side pockets - not as a replacement, but as a supplement for when I need a more inclusive kit to carry around.'

Cheap Mp3 Player - mp3 player, 4gb
I have been using ths device for about 3 weeks already, and the following are the pro's and con's I encountered while using this device:
Pros:
-Cheap
-looks good, nice sleek and proffessional design
-nice UI interface
-radio
-battery life (all day non-stop playing and quick charge)
-light and slim
Cons:
- horrible headphones (no ear bud broke within an hour of first using it, the other 3 weeks after), but average sound quality. Recommend buying separate durable ear buds.
- Takes a few seconds too load and shut down, but this is a minor inconvenience.
-Organization, if you are looking for a specific song, you must either know the album, or know the order. Haven't tried other mp3 players before, but it is not that fluid. Feels like you are looking at your songs folder in your computer. (no search function)
-Video ( can only accept a really low quality format (.MTV), which you need a video converter for 99% of all of your video files, which is nearly impossible to find a good one. At the end, it will not be worth it converting.
-Pictures, really low quality, looks like something out of an old cellphone or gif.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a simple, cheap, straight forward mp3 player, I recommend getting this. If you want something extra, look for something else. Coby 4 GB Video MP3 Player with FM Radio (Black)
I bought this to replace my other coby. I like it. Very light wich surprised me and good picture and i just dropped it and it still works which is a plus.
Pros
-easy to read
-easy music transfer
-portable
-sounds awsome especially with skull candies
- puts your music in order and even has album/artist order as well
Cons (nothing big)
- hard to find music when you have alot since you only have a push button but just hold it and it goes by kinda fast
- when you want to search for a new song you have to start from the beginning everytime which sucks but o well
- takes a few seconds to turn on and shut off but aging no biggie
Over all, good player and is well recomended
Sound quality is great. Good battery life. Very light and thin. Has a nice little screen, and rubber backing. Loads of features for [...] bucks (normally retails for [...] - rightly so), and nice 4 gigs of capacity! Obviously it's not an ipod touch, but I'd take this over a classic ipod or ipod shuffle/nano ANY DAY.. I also like that I don't have to feel like I'm handling glass when I use it. I owned an ipod touch, and I was almost afraid to handle it because it felt so delicate. This product actually feels light and durable. Also, it makes for a great flash drive, as well as having excellent reception in the FM tuner.. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a good mp3 player at a great price.
This review is meant to be helpful for potential buyers. I aimed to get an MP3 player that would play mp3s and audio books, while I was traveling; I was not making an investment in buying a showy new mobile device. The product first arrived on time. The packaging was great. Tightly sealed and protected. Most importantly the product did what I wanted it to do. The sound quality was decent. I didn't have much of a problem uploading audio tracks onto the device, but then again that might vary depending on one's familiarity with technology. It's fairly easy, taking about 4 steps. Any concerns about not getting what one pays for: this would have to include the radio function. It didn't work very well in doors for me. It's antenna must not be that big. For me that's fine since I don't plan on using it much. I think that the functionality and price match the product. I do not feel as though I was gipped in any way when making this purchase.
I was definitely not up with the times. I finally decided to get an MP3 player. I honestly knew nothing about them. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and make a mistake so I chose this one. For $30, if it didn't work well, it wouldn't be too much of a big deal. To tell you the truth I didn't really have much faith in this player's quality, because it wasn't an expensive brand or an Apple Ipod. I really wasn't expecting much.
When it arrived I have to admit I was excited to get started. I had loads of songs I wanted to hear that I didn't have on cd. I felt like a kid in a candy store. At first, I found a site I could buy MP3's from and tried to get my songs on the device. Since this was my first time uploading songs on an MP3 player I didn't know what I was doing and had lots of trouble. The directions it came with were not very helpful to me because of my ignorance with technological things. Finally after fiddling around for over an hour I finally figured it out. I bet a lot of you are thinking I am a real dummy, lol!
All I can say is I am thrilled!! This little piece of machinery is amazing to say the least. Once you get the knack, it is so easy to download your songs and add them to the playlist. When I saw how easy it was to upload songs from my computer to the device, I felt stupid for not figuring out how to do it sooner.
I bought a mini stereo cable and connected it to the headphone jack and the other end to my stereo's audio jack and I was pleasantly surprised at how loud and clear it sounds with my stereo system. The earbuds it comes with are a little uncomfortable and hurt my ears, so I am using my Sony Walkman's head phones and it is much more comfortable. My husband and 9 year old daughter liked this device so much, they want their own too. I will buy two more and highly recommend this item. It is well made and looks expensive too.
Thank you Coby for making a high quality, great sounding, good looking device for such a low price. - Cheap Mp3 Player - 4gb - Mp3 Player - Flash Drive-based'

Garmin Nuvi 350-360 Dc Charger
When I purchased a Nuvi 760 this item was shown as frequently purchased with it. Unfortunately it is not compatable and cost me to return as it was my error. Power connections were not visable so how is a person to know if the adapter will work with the GPS? Guess you learn the hard way. Garmin nüvi Vehicle Power Cable
So far, this charger has worked fine. Just want to clarify, though:
You don't need to order this separately, at least not if you order a Nuvi 350. The 350 comes with the car charger, AC charger, leather case, dash mount, and windshield mount. Don't order this unless you want two for some reason. Many of the accessories shown on the GPS unit product page are already included.
This accessory is part of the original package when you buy the Garmin Nuvi navigator. You also get the windshield mount, a leather envelope for the unit, and an AC charger. Don't buy any accessories at the time of purchasing the unit. I bought this knowing I wanted and needed it and ended up with two and had to pay for return postage when I returned it because it was "My Fault" I couldn't use it. You only need this if your original one wears out or if you want to have multiple vehicles completely equipped. The product itself is excellent and keeps the navigation unit power from being depleted while using in the car.
This adapter is actually better than the one that came with the GPS. Whereas the original adapter was somewhat flimsy; this one is more durable and the top does not come off in the power outlet. Great buy!!!
You do not need to buy this charger for the Nuvi 660. The 660 comes with a charger that connects through the mount adaptor, not directly to the 660. This works on a Nuvi 660 to supply power, but it will not charge the battery.
I purchased this item only because other reviews said it was necessary. The perceived problem was that the adapter included with the Nuvi 350 was not substantial and that it broke easily. In fact, this is the very same DC adapter that came with the unit. This accessory is not required.
This is the vehicle charger recommended on the amazon.com Garmin Nuvi 660 product page, but it is not the correct model for it. Get the Garmin vehicle charger (model # 010-10747-03) instead -- also available here at amazon.com through this link: Garmin 12-Volt Vehicle DC Power Adapter for the StreetPilot C510 and C550 (010-10747-03).
I had this as it came with my nuvi 350. Worked fine for a few months and then one day the plastic tip broke off. Appears the heat stress got to it and it breaks very easily. Friend with an identical unit did the same thing.
Fortunately mine was still under warranty and Garmin replaced it at no cost. The replacement appears to be MUCH better than original one. The tip is all metal now and not prone to breakage like the other one.
This product works perfectly well but I still wish I hadn't bought it. I couldn't tell from the Amazon description if the car power cable came with the Garmin Nuvi I was buying. So, I bought the Garmin AND a power cable separately. The cable came before the Garmin and I opened it. Then the Garmin came and there was a cable in the box.
Although my Garmin Nuvi 360 came with the vehicle power cable, I purchased this to keep in my second car. Now, I don't have to remember to take the cable from vehicle to vehicle. I find the extra cord to be a great convenience.'

Office Chair - office chair
I work a front office job and needed to try something other than a regular chair. I waivered between sitting on a 65cm ball or this chair, which would provide back support. I have to say that I LOVED this chair when I sat in it. So comfortable and the back support was just where I needed it. But...when I took my chair into work, it was too low to really be effective at my work desk. I had read other reviews about this, and people mention that the ball must not have been inflated enough. I actually like having the ball a bit overinflated, and this chair was still too low (I'm 5'7"). So I ended up returning the chair and sticking with a 65cm ball. I do have to give customer service 5 stars for their awesome coordination. The first chair I ordered had been damaged in shipping, and the return process to get a replacement was so easy. Then when I called to return the replacement, the rep was so helpful and courteous. Isokinetics Inc. Brand Adjustable Back Exercise Ball Chair - Black 52cm Ball - Free Starter Pump
I love this chair!! I felt my side muscles getting a "work out" the first few days and it helps me with my posture and keeps me from crossing my legs!! I recommend this chair to anyone who is sick of slouching all day in front of a computer. :)
It does say somewhere to slowly transition from your old chair to this new one, so this isn't a complaint. For me, I find the ball hurts my butt after a while (as if I'm sitting on a hard surface even though I'm not)
The back rest is great though, which is why I choose this model over some of the other ones where reviewers said the back support was weak or unusable.
This is the best office work chair I have ever had. My back and hips don't get stiff and sore. I work at a desk all day (1o+ hrs) and forget to get up and stretch. With this chair I don't need to get up. By simply leaning in different directions my muscles get a workout. It's great. I don't have a problem with the movement of the chair, its rolling away or not moving. I would definitely recommend this chair.
I'm 5'7" and without the additional height adjusters I purchased separately, it may have been too short for me. But i have to say I love using it at work, it is the right height for me, and i'm very impressed by the back rest. The back rest is very supportive and adjustable!!!! I just started using it today and I sat up straight with good posture all day. Nice ball too, just add more air to get it the height you need.
We LOVE this chair. My kids keep stealing it from me. Very comfortable -- but a little "sticky" when wearing shorts in the summer. I just put a towel on top. It's the right height for me. I'm 5'8", but I think it's more about the height of your desk than about your own height. It replaced a typical office chair, and I haven't had any height problems. My kids are comfortable at their desk with it as well.
The company sent me the wrong colored ball when I ordered, but they were really nice and accomodating about it.
I bought this chair because I spend many hours in front of a computer every day and my posture was getting progressively worse. Additionally, I thought that if my core was a little stronger, I'd be more likely to take a walk in the afternoon or just get off my butt and do a little activity. I opted for this chair with the weight-bearing back because, well, I'm lazy and want to lean back every now and then.
For those things this chair met every expectation, plus some. The chair is well constructed, easy to assemble, very sturdy, and very comfortable. I immediately was able to sit comfortably and with proper posture, and when I did wish to lean back, the back support is fantastic. I found my posture and balance better as early as 3 days into the process, even when walking or standing. It certainly is easy enough to "cheat" with slouching and leaning back, but if nothing else, the chair keeps you more aware of how you're sitting and just reminds you to use your muscles.
Not to mention it's quite the conversation piece in the office.
With all that being said, I've actually moved to sitting on just an exercise ball most of the time because I really wanted to embrace the "Active Sitting" idea. I was afraid that it would just be too hard and would make my back hurt, so I'd need the back support and stability offered in this chair; however, what I discovered is that the chair actually seems TOO comfortable to give me the additional activity I was hoping for just by sitting. Sure, it did improve my posture and help with my core, so it obviously helps. But if you're looking for something that really helps you move around more in the office, I found it difficult to do much more than kegels, bouncing, and just wiggling on this size ball without feeling like there was potential to lose your balance. And while the wheels are great for moving around, they don't cause you to move your body any more than a regular chair does. I'm still undecided on whether to send the chair back and use my regular office chair when my back needs a break from the regular ball, or to keep it to maintain some level of activity even while sitting more comfortably.
So in summary, if I had it all to do again, I would probably have started with an exercise ball alone to see how I did. Then, if it gave me more back pain than it does (as it is, I think the slight "pain" I experience is still just weak muscles; not a result of an injury or anything), I would definitely have tried the chair and highly recommend it to those who have not had good experience with an exercise ball alone but do want to strengthen their core and posture just by sitting. The quality alone gives this chair 5 stars for me... there's truly not a single part of it that is poorly made, and so I knock off no stars for my personal experience/goals with it. - Office Chair'

Ipad Charger
This is a cheap copy of the real thing. The included USB adapter doesn't fit properly in the iPAD. It is 10 Watt, but it doesn't charge the unit is fast as the original iPad charger. I'd buy the real thing! Compatible 10-Watt USB Power Adapter for iPad
There is truth to the claims that this is not the same charger as the one that comes with the iPad. I just got this today and the two units are definitely different...this one is lighter, has different writing on it [the phrase "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China" is missing from this product even though it does say "(c) 2010 Apple Inc. All rights reserved." The electrical information appears to be the same. I note that the male USB receptacle is mounted in this unit the other way around! There are some other difference too.
I haven't had it long enough to see if the charging performance is the same or roughly the same, but I plan to test this over the next few days. At least my iPad does charge. Not sure about the rate of charging or if this is a durable product.
Comment: I have a charger for my Nook Color that is rated at 5V and 1.9A (or 9.5W). The iPad will NOT charge at all with this charger, but it does charge with the unit under review here. Apple has obviously built some smarts into the iPad and has a fairly tight range of voltage/current that it will accept for charging.
I have been using this charger for the last 3 nights to recharge my iPad 2. Even though this is not an Apple product, the price is also not an Apple product price, either. It seems to work fine for charging my iPad. I will continue to post updates on how this charger performs. And for those who only want the Apple charger, why not order it from Apple or Best Buy? Apple products always seem to come with Apple prices and not discounted (unless Apple has discounted the product themselves (like they did for the 1st gen iPad recently).
Edit: I have now been using this charger for nearly two weeks. It works fine. I'm not giving it 5 stars as the product wording does lead one to believe it is an Apple product. But the iPad 2 won't tolerate charges can't can't supply the required 2 A @ 5V. This one does and charges my iPad 2 the same rate as the one that came with my iPad. It's a good bit cheaper, but it hasn't fallen apart and doesn't over heat.
This is a counterfeit copy of the Apple iPad charger. When connected to this charger, the iPad battery icon shows that the iPad is charging, but it blinks, indicating that the iPad is not charging at full power like it does with the real 10W charger.
The title of this item says that it is an Apple product, and even references the Apple part number for an iPad charger (A1357). This is NOT an Apple product. It is a cheap knock-off, I am fearful of plugging my iPad 2 into this cheaply made item. This will be returned to Amazon.com with an appropriate complaint filed as well.
This is my first review on Amazon, and I felt compelled to leave the review to let others know that this product is a knock-off. The product is not a real apple product, and just a cheap knock-off made in china.
this item did not work. I have sent it back to the vendor and have been waiting for them to send a replacement as per there instructions. I am not happy with this company. I believe they are based in New York, NY
This charger is NOT for an iPad. It may look like the iPad charger but it is not. After one charging cycle, it quit working. I suspect it is not really a 10 watt charger. I compared to the original charger and this one is lighter....so there must be a few components missing...
I ordered and then cancelled the order. Evidently this is NOT an Apple product at all but Amazon implies that it is. I have learned that chargers must match the product being charged. I have two so called universal chargers and neither would work with the iPad. I plan to visit an Apple store and buy the real Apple product.
My original iPad charger was ruined after taking a bath in the sink.. so I was in dire need of a charger and I bought this one... a decision I deeply regret.
This product is most definitely not the real thing. It had a lighter cheap plastic feeling to it and it smelled like burnt plastic when I plugged it in the outlet. Also, it heated up too fast. At first I thought it wouldn't matter as long as it charged my iPad normally. Well... not only did it not charge my iPad, it drained the power completely until it was dead and then it would charge at a rate of 2% per hour. I'm not exaggerating. It was really sad and I returned the product immediately. At least I received a full refund on the item or I would have been pissed off.
SO, I warn all of you who want to buy this "10 watt" power adapter. If you value your iPad experience, spend the extra 15 bucks to get the real charger and don't waste your time with this cheap knock off.'
