Air Compressor - compressor, campbell hausfeld

I purchased this as a tire inflator/blower/air tool compressor. It's light duty, makes noise like a small compressor does, but works, has good features, and for the price is very capable. I mention the noise because people are always surprised by how noisy air compressors are. It's not designed for big air tools and the like, but is very useful for homeowners like myself. Campbell Hausfeld FP209499 3-Gallon Air Compressor

Great little air compressor, very lightweight and portable and does not take up a lot of space in my utility room. Works great with the hitachi NT50AE2 brad nailer I bought, I get about 40 or so nails before it needs to refill the tank. Glad I bought this separately from my nailer rather than buying one of the branded "kits" that includes three nailers (two of which you probably don't need). The only complaint I have is that the compressor came with a crappy plastic hose. The other accessories were fine (quick changes, tire fill fittings, etc) but the hose looked like it would burst if I stepped on it by accident or just looked at it funny. I bought the 50' yellow rubber good year hose recommended by others and it is working out really well.

This compressor is ok for inflating balls & tires, but beyond that it's pretty much worthless. It's 'rated' to 100 PSI but getting this thing to maintain even 80 for more than 2 seconds is impossible. Also, one of the reasons I purchased this packages is because I thought I wouldn't need to get a lot of additional stuff because it came with a hose and accessories. The hose has to be one of the worst quality products I have ever seen. It is brittle plastic with NO flex whatsoever, and i'm afraid any amount of movement will snap the dang thing right off. If you want a compressor for anything more than tires/balls look elsewhere - you truly get what you pay for here.

No complaints here. This product did exactly what it was supposed to and has given us no problems. Even better - I saw it in Advanced Auto Parts a couple weeks back for TWICE what we paid on Amazon! SCORE!

The Unit works well... it could use more power... it takes along time to build up what's needed for some jobs. I would say depending on the type of jobs you need an air unit for... be careful buying this unit if you need alot of air quickly and need to maintain that level of air above 40 PSI.

Otherwise it is packaged nicely and is light weight to move around.

The cord is stiff plastic...curled...making it almost impossible to get the end on the tire stem to inflate. When I tried to straighten it (with normal pulling) it broke. The unit also took a while to fill up.

Pros: Compact and lightweight, great carrying handle, good accessory pack, nice gauges, fair price.

Cons: LOUD, slow to fill, quick to empty, leaky fixtures, poor quick-connect.

Chose this to replace my beloved CH Quiet Air when it died after 11 years of great service, primarily airbrushing. I instantly regretted it. This compressor is LOUD - louder than a lawn mower. It's only exacerbated by the tone of the noise, which sounds exactly like a diesel tractor, and the fact that the motor kicks back in constantly and lengthily (and startlingly). In addition, the quick connect fittings don't quickly connect, and they leak even using the included plumber's tape.

Will be returning this, having picked up a lovely 1.5 gal Husky instead. It's quieter (though hardly whisper-quiet, and louder than my dearly departed Quiet Air), wheeled (though larger), and comes with better quality accessories. It fills in seconds to a higher PSI, almost instantly refills, and only turns on as often as the 3-gal CH, despite being half the capacity. - Small Air Compressor - Compressor - Campbell Hausfeld'

Walking Tall DVD

Walking Tall is a remake of [[ASIN:B000VDDDWI Walking Tall]. This time the Rock stars as an Army Officer who has come home to find his hometown full of vice and corruption. In this movie he finds a 4X4 versus an axe handle to use as a "helper". I think I'd prefer the axe handle. Highly recommended for fans of the Rock and for people who think Wrestling is real, but the moon landing was fake.

Gunner April, 2008 Walking Tall

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this film... it was just short! If you take away the credits you're only left with an hour and thirteen minute movie!

The Rock can really act, who would have thought? The only other downside beside the time is that most of the other characters are so under developed. You can't quite feel happy or feel sorry for them because you just don't know them. Knoxville was great also... he's just a funny guy in my opinion.

The plot is great, as well as the action sequences. At the end of the movie, you are really just ready for the Rock to rip everyone apart that has tried to hurt him and his family and friends; those scars he gets spark a few nerves as well. I would say definitely go rent this movie, just rent one or two more while your at; the Rundown is another good film w/ the Rock also; try that if you haven't already.

This movie is great, and full of action. I was never a fan of wrestling and knew very little about the Rock. I rented this movie last night for my boyfriend and I to watch. Since I was strictly informed not to get any chick-flicks, I figured this was the best choice. It is based on a true story about a guy named Beauford Pusser (gross name) who after comming home from the millitary notices a great deal of change in his home town. The mill he and his father once worked at is now closed and the main source of income for this small town is the casino/strip club owned by his former friend. Things turn ugly whe Chris Vaughn (The Rock) notice the casino is cheating their customers. He tries to go to the police and they are just as crooked as the casino, so the Rock takes matters into his own hands. Great movie choice for ladies wanting to please their boyfriend with a non-chickflick. But don't worry ladies even if you don't like the story line, you will still enjoy it, because the Rock is very nice to look at!! Enjoy.

i went to see this movie and was very pleased with it. i thought the rock did an excellent job. i do not watch wrestling so i do not have my judgement clouded by whatever his character was like on tv. but in this movie i thought he gave a believeable preformance. i loved the rundown so i had to check this one out too.

Walking Tall is a remake of the 1973 film, which is in turn a "semi-biopic" of Sheriff Buford Pusser. Ironically enough, Pusser was a former professional wrestler-turned lawman in McNairy County, Tennessee. For those of you keeping track, the Buford Pusser was renamed to Chris Vaughn (in the world of macho movies, this is understandable) and his background was changed from wrestling to Special Forces. Which is funny, because Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who plays the role of Vaughn, is a former professional wrestler turned actor.

In this action movie, Vaughn returns to his hometown of Kitsap County, Washington (instead of Pusser's actual McNairy County, Tennessee) from a stint in the Special Forces. We're not sure what Vaughn did, but it must have been ugly, because he never speaks about it and answers questions about people he killed with a sad stare. Unfortunately, Kitsap County has gone downhill since the local lumber mill closed. His father, Vaughn Sr. (John Beasley) is out of work. Vaughn's sister Michelle (Kristen Wilson) has become a cop, but her son Pete (Khleo Thomas) hangs out with the wrong crowd. Heck, even Vaughn's old girlfriend Deni (Ashley Scott) has become a stripper. All these sins can be blamed on Vaughn's old high school rival, Jay Hamilton (played with sneering arrogance by Neal McDonough).

Vaughn's return is cause for celebration by his friends, including the recovering alcoholic Ray (Johnny Knoxville, of all people), who treat him to a night of gambling and debauchery at Hamilton's premiere casino. But the whole place is dirty, where gamblers cheat and drugs are given to kids. It's at this point that Walking Tall flirts with cartoonish levels of evil. Even Hamilton points this out: "Why would I sell drugs when I own the entire town already?" Why indeed?

Vaughn goes nuts once he discovers that the place is corrupt, and his fisticuffs earn him a form of vicious revenge from the security staff that involves a box cutter and a lot of cutaway scenes of Vaughn screaming. Left to die, he manages to recover on his parents' sofa. The sheriff (Michael Bowen) and his deputies are obviously in Hamilton's pocket and refuse to help. When Vaughn's nephew overdoses on drugs gained from Hamilton's casino, Vaughn's had enough: he takes a four-foot hickory club and smashes the place up. That's just the first half of the movie.

Returning to reality, Vaughn's outburst causes him to be brought up on several charges, brought by the very people who cut him up the first time. Vaughn wins the case by appealing to squeamishness of the jury, who wince once he shows them the scars from the box cutter. "If you acquit me of these charges, I'll run for sheriff!" he shouts. And they do. And he does. What happens next is a good old-fashioned butt-whupping from a big man with a big stick.

I didn't expect much from an action movie headlined by a wrestler, but Walking Tall distinguishes itself in several ways that make it worth watching:

IT'S MULTIETHNIC: Vaughn's father is black, his mother is white; Vaughn's girlfriend is white. The movie doesn't make a big deal about it.

IT KNOWS ITS LIMITATIONS: The Rock is huge. This obvious fact is used against Vaughn when he's on trial, as the poor, beat-up thugs make him out to be a monster. And he sort of is...he's just a monster you want on your side. Ray is both pathetic and amusing, but mostly pathetic, as only Knoxville can play him.

IT UNABASHEDLY LOVES ACTION: This movie is about good guys beating up bad guys. Although Vaughn's Special Forces training is curiously absent from most of the film, he does get into fistfights and gunfights with everybody. The fighting is fast and furious but never overtly cinematic. There are lots of thuds, grunts, and crunches.

I like The Rock. He's handsome and sleek in a way that other muscle-bound stars are not, conveying both strength and speed. He doesn't come off as a brutal thug by just looking at him, unless he's standing next to someone else. And because Johnson is famous for arching his eyebrow in ironic "am I for real or what?" pose, he's able to pull off comedy by standing next to someone considerably smaller, like Knoxville.

Walking Tall has both heart and muscle, a feel-good tale about a tough guy who stands up for his hometown in an era when nobody seems to be standing up for anything anymore. - Walking Tall - Action Movie - Action - Drugs'

Laptop Battery - e1505, laptop battery

I own a Dell E1505 laptop computer. The original battery did not last very long and since I have been using my laptop as a portable 'desktop' computer. Recently I decided to purchase a new batter as my travel frequency has gone up. I normally purchase items from Amazon with good to excellent feedback. So I was comparing the 9-cell battery by Tavas with the one by New Trent and I ended up purchased the one from Tavas as it had a better rating (7200mAh vs 6600mAh) and is slightly cheaper because I had to pay tax if I ordered the one by New Trent.

The battery arrived and immediately I put the battery to test. Boom it was not working. The computer BIOS complained that it does not recognize the battery. But when I booted into Windows I can see the battery meter displayed about 52% charge and I can read the battery ID (don't remember the exact ID No.) and such but apparently the battery is not charging. I removed the power cord and the computer was still on so the battery was actually supplying power to the laptop. When I plug the power cord back, the little power cord icon was showing that the battery was charging but after a few minutes the charging icon disappeared so again the battery was sitting idle.

I called Dell technical support and was advised to only buy Dell battery. Finally they told me that the issue can be fixed by flashing (the BIOS) but I have to purchase a one time support which would cost me $59.95 because my laptop is out of warranty support. So I decide to return the battery since Amazon offers a easy return process.

I then reorder the 9-cell battery by New Trent. It took only three to four days for the battery to arrive and again I immediately plugged in the battery for a test. The BIOS did not even notice that there was a new battery. Every thing just worked as my original battery. I booted into Windows and found that the battery was charging normally. This battery, when fully charged, gives me about 4 to 5 hours run time with my laptop set for Maximum Battery (as opposed to Maximum Performance). So far I am very happy with this battery but I only own it for less then two days. BTW, the battery is rated at 7200mAH even though the ad on Amazon says the battery is rated at 6600mAH. New Trent 11.10V,7200mAh, 9 cells, Li-Ion, Replacement Laptop Battery For Dell Inspiron 1501, Inspiron 6400, Inspiron E1505, Latitude 131L, Vostro 1000 Brand New

Received this battery a couple days ago and have been impressed since. My old battery for my Dell I6400 would last about 40 minutes before it would so graciously turn off with no warning. I saw this as the sign to get a new battery. I was pleasantly surprised to find this New Trent battery for under $40 on Amazon. My first replacement battery for this Dell cost over $100 and didn't even last 1 year before the above mentioned symptoms.

My Dell computer recognized this battery without a problem and I am getting between 3 and 4 hours of battery life now. I would definitely recommend this product after only having it for a few days now.

With the original battery in my Dell Inspiron 1501 worn out -- only about 10 minutes of runtime before it would require recharge, and with the computer giving me constant messages that the battery needs to be replaced, I went to Dell to buy a replacement. I was shocked to find that a new Dell battery would cost nearly $150! While uncertain about buying an "aftermarket" battery, I researched quite a bit, looking at various batteries, and after reading a number of excellent reviews for New Trent products, I decided to purchase one. The battery arrived promptly, I installed it today, and my Dell immediately recognized the battery and began charging it. Given that I have just received the battery, I am not yet sure what the full run time will be -- as I have not yet discharged it. However, after some of the bad experiences I learned of during my research with folks who bough other brands of batteries from other companies, I am very pleased with the New Trent product. And, you can't beat the price -- less than 1/3 the cost of a new Dell battery! Finally, I also checked out New Trent's website, and spoke with the company on the phone with some questions, and they were incredibly helpful and kind, and really stood behind their product. I do not hesitate at all to recommend this company, and I will absolutely return to New Trent the next time I need a laptop battery.

I have had this battery for several weeks now. The price was low and that made me a little worried but since it was ordered from Amazon I knew they would make it right if there was any problem. It holds several hours of charge and I couldn't be more pleased! I will definitely re-order this battery when I need one.

This is the fourth battery I've had to buy for my Dell Inspiron E1505. I seem to go through battery's fast. That is until I read what others had to say about Dell batteries being less than adequate. As I searched for another replacement I came across this one on Amazon and chose it because of positive reviews and the more than reasonable price. It arrived quickly and upon looking it over I found it to be a well assembled product, that plus the quality packaging set me up to the fact that this is a excellent product. I'm sure I wont be disappointed and so far I haven't been.

I decided to search amazon for a laptop battery when I found dell was selling mine for over $100 (I also had a $5 off coupon code). I came across this one and since it was less than $40 with shipping and had great reviews I decided to give it a try. I must say it is very nice to be able to move my laptop away from the cord for more than 30 min. I have not timed the battery life but it is at least 3 hours probably more. I have only had it about a month but am very happy for the price I paid!

I have used this battery now for about 2 months and the life is just as good as the original Dell battery it replaced (3 - 4 hours). No complaints at all. I'm glad I didn't spend the money for a Dell OEM battery. - Dell Inspiron - Laptop Battery - E1505 - Battery'

Batman - law enforcement

I brought the belt for my 19 yr old son that is Security Guard and he real like. The Belt came with all the little pockets and it is heavy duty as well. This was a good buy and I recommend this to anyone that is in Law Enforcement. Airsoft Tactical Law Enforcement Belt

I ordered this belt for my son for Xmas. Although it was too big to begin with, we were able to take off a couple of the attachments to make it fit.

It's very good quality, and really designed for genuine security people. My son loves it! - Law Enforcement'

Childrens Earphones - pink, child headphone

We got these for my 5 year old daughter to use with her MP3 player. I was excited at the idea of the volume control since I knew she liked to turn it all the way up. However she only had these about 2 months when they stopped working all together. I thought it was the MP2 player, but it worked with my headphones fine. My daughter is fairly careful, as careful as a 5 year old can be, and really only used these in the car for long trips. I certainly don't believe anything was done beyond normal wear. I was disappointed since I thought I had paid more to get a better quality. We are now using the Philips kids headphones and have been pleased with the quality. Sony Mdr-222Kd/Pin Children's Headphones (Pink)

We needed some chid-size headphones to replace the wireless that came with our Honda. These fit the kid's heads and added bonus having the pink for my daughter. Teamed these with one 3.5MM extension cable to get headphone to the passengers side - both kids love them

We bought these for our 5 yr. old to watch dvds on our laptop while traveling and for use with an ipod. I like the idea that the heads phones would not get too loud. Unfortunately, with all the road noise, she could verily hear the sound. I tried myself and it was very hard to hear. If using in the house, the sound is fine and the smaller size is great. However, if your computer sits on the floor under a desk with the only headphone jack in the back, the 3.5 foot cord isn't quite long enough. We added an extension and it helps. At least she doesn't get tangled up in the cord! She actually prefers earbuds because they don't fall off her head but as a mom, I prefer headphones that don't go directly into her ear.

We bought these for our five-year-old daughter to use with a portable DVD player on a family road trip. The packaging touts the high impedance of these headphones as a "feature" but it made them too quiet for our daughter to hear most of her movies--even with the DVD player's volume control turned all the way up.

These headphones definitely keep the sound from getting too loud. My kids didn't complain about the sound but I found them too soft. When I put the DVD player without headphones at a comfortable volume and then plugged in the headphones the volume definitely decreased. I suppose this is good for protecting a child's sensitive ears but if an adult plans to use them as well they will probably be disappointed.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. 2 1/2 months later, the plastic is cracked where the earpieces attach to the head band. I have them taped together. The size is perfect, and she loves the pink color. I would have expected a product made with more durable materials for children, and especially from Sony.

These have worked perfectly for my 9 and 4 year old daughters who are not comfortable wearing little earbuds or big adult headphones for MP3 players or portable DVD players. I especially like the fact that the cord is only attached to one side of the headphones, not both sides, so the cord doesn't go across their necks and I don't have to worry about it choking them. Highly recommended for children. - Childrens Earphones - Kids Headphones - Child Headphone - Pink'

Camera Nikon Cool Pix - camera case, nikon camera case

Do NOT buy this product if you are planning on putting a Nikon COOLPX L22 camera in here. It does NOT fit, even though Amazon advertises it to go along w/the this model camera. You cannot zip the case closed without forcing the zipper which could cause damage to a sensitive electronic device like the Nikon camera. Complete waste of money! Black Hard Case for Compact Digital Cameras

This hard case is awesome! I am a Marine and deployed in Afghanistan. This is the best thing I can think of to use for multiple environments. I take pictures as often as possible so my camera is in and out of the case all the time. It has been dropped, walked on, buried in sand and still out performs any other case I have had. Thanks to this case my Nikon camera is still in pristine condition. Oh, and the case is doing great also.Nikon Coolpix S570 12MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Black)

This case is sold with the L22 Coolpix as being correct size. It is not, it is too small, way too small. Trying to zip it shut sometimes pops the battery compartment open and the zipper scrapes the side of the camera trying to go around the corner. The case is not usable except as a temp before I trash it and buy one at Wal-Mart.

Bought this for a Nikon s3000 camera and it fits like a glove. Very sturdy case and like that it attaches to your belt loop. Would highly recommend this case for ease of use. Shipping was very fast from Amazon.

I like this case more than the Nikon Coolpix 9413 Leather Carrying Case that came in a grouped package. I like it because it totally surrounds the camera (Nikon Coolpix S640) whereas the Nikon 9413 has holes in the corner that can let is dust and (God-forbid) water/moisture.

There is a shoulder strap and a metal hook for a belt or belt hoop. Without the shoulder strap it's not really bulky.

I got it for $3.95.

Ordedred through Amazon.com. When I recieved it I opened the packaging and then tried to open the case but the zipper on the case would not budge. After a few tries it moved but not like a zipper should. I said I'll put some bees wax on it and it shoud be OK. The next thing I did was to try to put the neck cord (included) on it. What do you know - the snap broke and was unfixable. Now having a worthless case for my camera I decided to send it back. The catch, I have to pay the shipping which was about the cost of the item. Bottom line is, the only good place for this case is the trash can. "Buyer Beware"

We bought this for our Nikon Coolpix S6000 and it worked great the first few days. Slowly the zipper failed and the camera could not zip securely into the case. The zipper isn't a high quality zipper (such as a ykk) and it just isn't durable enough to perform. Got us through our short vacation, the straps and clip were nice features, however it is useless without the zipper and must now be replaced. Also, don't loose a SDHC card by storing it in the internal camera case pocket (when the zipper fails the card may fall out).

This case is hard and protective but barely big enough to fit my L20 Coolpix with the hand strap attached. No way to carry any extra batteries which is a bit of a hassle. Otherwise a great value and well constructed. Shipping was prompt.

I purchased the Nikon S 80 for my wife for Xmas. It was recomended by Nikon to use the "Black Hard Case for compact cameras.

Well the camera won't fit in the case, its to long. And Amazon won't exchange or refund my $ - Nikon Camera Case - Camera Case - Camera Nikon Cool Pix - Nikon Coolpix'

Blackberry Curve - micro sd, cell phone memory

SD-card counterfeiting is truly rampant online (e.g. eBay). A 2GB card is modified to look like a 16GB card (both the packaging and the actual interface circuit, so it even tricks your computer). The card works fine until you use more than 2GB; then data corruption occurs.

This 16GB card is a good 40% cheaper than anywhere else I've seen, so I was initially very suspicious. Amazon is certainly reputable; however, in this case the seller is some third party (BoBoTECHNIC), and Amazon is shipping it on their behalf.

"H2testw" is a standard program used to verify SD card legitimacy. It writes a bunch of data to the card and then makes sure that it reads back exactly what it wrote. I am happy to report that the card passes the test.

Incidentally, the card holds 14.8GB (differs from 16GB due to marketing tricks that SD card makers play). H2testw averaged about 3.4MByte/s on both reads and writes. It takes about an hour to transfer 15GB to the card. SanDisk 16 GB Class 2 microSDHC Flash Memory Card

The chip I got had a very slow write speed (<500kbps) And syncronizing 10 gigs of music files took many hours. However the read speed is fast enough for the music player and I've had no trouble with video files so the read speed is fine.

The long sync was so worth it. Having my entire music collection at my fingertips anywhere I go definitely made this a must-have upgrade for my phone.

Its 16GB, and it is a great price for just being released.

For the BB you do have to update the device software to at least 4.5. It will not work if your BB does not have 4.5. When installed in a BB with older software the BB only sees about 6gb, and it causes the BB to act strange.

So far I haven't had any major issues with the card other than some write errors using an internal card reader on a laptop (I believe it was the laptop's fault).

Moving from 1GB to 16GB of storage has really allowed to me put a lot more data (pics and music) on my phone (n95). It is definitely quick enough for playing music and snapping pictures, even 5MP ones. However, when I went to sync my 8GB of music it definitely took a while.

Bottom line is that it is a great value for the money, just don't expect blazing transfer speeds.

This product is great, not only did it come with an SD card Converter, but the card is compatible with the Google G1 phone. Which is the main purpose of me buying it, not only does it allow the convenience of having more space, I can store tons of files on the card and just pop it into the phone. The 16GB sandisk has the highest rating, best review and holds the highest capacity. If taking interest in purchasing one, rest assured that your money is not going to waste. The Micro SD is becoming one of the most commonly used memory card for phones, pda, GPS, etc. it's becoming the most used memory card for portable devices.

I had been reading about the issues the Windows phones were having with the MicroSD cards, but I still decided to purchase this card knowing the risks, but also knowing that the Class 2 cards may actually work. The install went well, easy to format, and once formatted, it functioned great. After finally installing my apps again and loading all of my files, I still didn't have any problems.

The problems occurred when the phone was left idle. Not long after putting my phone down, I noticed that it was rebooting. This would happen again and again, and after a few times, the phone reset back to its initial format. The icons were there, but my contacts, music, videos, etc. were all gone. I simply restarted the phone, and everything was back. But then the process repeated. I noticed that as long as you used the phone, everything worked properly. The problems always occurred when idle, even if it was just for a minute.

I finally decided to power down, eject the microsd card, and reformat the internal memory, and now everything is back to normal. Unfortunately even though the card itself is very good, the Samsung Focus does not function properly, so my recommendation if you have a Focus is to continue looking for something that is Windows certified.

This memory card is all you need to store music and videos!! It has 15000MB approximately based on my phone and I'm loving it so far. Don't really have a problem with the speed of it even though other people might say that it's very slow. It's also genuine sandisk product as well! But what I don't understand is there is a black sticker on the back. Maybe it's suppose to be on there? I was thinking of getting a Sandisk 32GB Micro SDHC since it just came out. But then again, it's too expensive ($200+). I'd rather stick with x2 16GB and can buy even more than just 2 at that price. Nobody will regret buying this because it's so good price and good quality! - 16gb - Micro Sd Card - Micro Sd - Cell Phone Memory'

Iphone 3g Accessories - iphone, iphone 3g accessories

I ordered this cable because the image shows a real style Apple cable with rounded edges. I have an OtterBox case that requires a rounded edge cable in order to charge it. I received this cable and it is a generic square ended cable, which is completely useless to me. Though it might work it would require I remove the phone from the case every time I wanted to use it, which is not an option. White Sync & Charge USB Cable for Apple iPhone 3G / Apple iPhone 3GS

within days of a less than favorable review of this $.01 iPhone sync & charge cable, I received a call from the seller to inquire about the nature of my complaint. On my part, it was a minor inconvenience that the cable would sync but not charge. For a penny, I thought I got more than my moneys worth. He, however was dedicate to total customer satisfaction and I received a new cable, at no additional cost within 3 days.

That is Customer Service!

When my dog chewed through my iPhone adapter, I didn't want to spend $19 in the Apple store for a replacement. I considered replacing the dog, but instead I decided to find a cheap, compatible adapter. I found this one and I thought, "Well, if it doesn't work, I'm only out a couple bucks." I bought two of them, and the disadvantages were apparent right from the beginning.

First, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the business end of the cable is squared, not rounded. This wasn't a problem with my case, but it would be with others. Second, the construction and materials used leave a lot to be desired. There is no doubt when you look at this product that it is a cheap dollar store version, and that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in it. Finally, my phone would not sync with iTunes. Considering iPhone users need to sync their phones to get crucial updates, that is a big problem. However, the cord did charge my phone, so it wasn't a complete loss. Or so I thought.

Within a week, through normal use, I broke the iPhone connector end on my cord. The plastic case came apart, and a few of the components fell out into my hand. The rest I had to carefully remove from inside the port on my phone. After a little tinkering, I was able to put the cable's connector back together, but it didn't fasten tightly. I remedied this by wrapping two small hair elastics tightly around it. The second cord lasted a few weeks longer, only falling apart recently. I was unable to repair the second. But hey, when held together with duct tape, chewing gum, and rubber bands, I still had one cord that charged my phone! Until just now.

The rigged up, cheap, piece of you-know-what cord decided about an hour ago to stop charging my phone completely. I don't know why. The components in the rubber-banded end are still secure, the connection is good, and it's plugged into a reliable power source. It occurred to me that though I saved a few dollars, I paid for it in hassles. Don't waste your money on this inferior product. Inferior is not even a strong enough word for what this product is; I don't think there's a word in the dictionary that quite captures the essence of crap that is this cord.

After reading all the negative comments, I didn't know whether to order the product or not. At last, I decided to give it a shot (rather than paying the high cost for the apple cable). When I received the cable, I tried to charge/sync my iPhone on a PC, a Mac, and with the wall charger - it didn't work. I contacted the company. Their answer was prompt and really kind.

Meanwhile, my girlfriend got herself an iPod touch. We tried to cable with her iPod - it worked. So, I decided not to return the cable. Then I went to an Apple Store and figured out in fact the problem was with my iPhone, not the cable. They swapped my iPhone, and right now the cable is working.

The cable is different than the original (the phone connector part is thinner). It comes in a nice box. Fast shipping. The customer service is great if your cable is not working - just make sure that the problem is caused by the cable. (They told me they were going to pay all the shipping, refund me for my return shipping, and send a new cable).

Cable works as described. Tested with an iPhone 3GS and it charges and syncs when attached to the computer. Works with the Apple branded USB to AC adapter that came with my phone.

The cable has two buttons that can be squeezed while inserting or removing from the phone. I actually prefer this to the OEM Apple cable which feels like I might break the small "hooks" when inserting into the phone. - Iphone 3g Charger - Iphone 3g Accessories - Sync Cables - Iphone'

Nail Biting Solutions

This product definitely has helped my three year old break the thumb sucking habit, but it should be used cautiously. The first time I put it on her thumbs, I painted the entire nail. She complained all day about the "yuckies" whenever her thumb accidently touched her lips (for example when she was eating her snack using her fingers). At bedtime, she stuck her thumb in her mouth and got a full taste which caused her to gag and throw up several times. (This is the simplified version of the story! You really don't want all the details of the hour long ordeal!) Of course, this product is not designed to come off easily (the instructions say to apply every TWO DAYS!) so I had to figure out how to get her through the night. I finally used nail polish remover to try to remove the product from her thumbs. I'm not sure if it worked, or if my daughter was just too traumatized to put her thumb in her mouth after that, but she didn't gag or throw up again. Now, I do still use the product but I only apply a very small amount to the tip of her thumb nail. As a side note, while preventing her from sucking her thumb, it also has effected her eating habits. Any time she eats anything with her fingers and gets a tast of the Mavala Stop product, she decides that she no longer likes that particular food! So, if you plan to use this on a young child, you might want to start out applying a minimal amount to the tip of the thumbnail, and be aware that the effects may be more far-reaching than you intend. Mavala Stop - Helps Cure Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking, 0.3-Fluid Ounce

This product is amazing. I've been biting my nails for more than 15 years (I'm almost 22), and I managed to stop completely in three weeks.

Mainly, I had to become aware of what I was physically doing so I could stop doing it. Because of the horrible, bitter, lingering taste of Mavala Stop, I gradually became aware of what I was doing and could consciously think about my actions. It forced me to be conscious of my bad habit. Secondly, the nasty taste removed any enjoyment or stress relief I got from biting my nails since it was so incredibly unpleasant. I became very wary, very quickly. This combination of factors made it possible for me to stop, which I thought I could never do.

The taste is really horrible. It's like acetone (nail polish remover), bitter, rotten wood, and some sort of fish put together. It has a very chemical taste with a sweet undertone that makes for a horrible experience. The taste is also very durable and lingering. If you licked a nail painted with Mavala Stop, it would take a few minutes to get the taste out. The taste was so bad, in my opinion, that getting it off of my teeth, lips, and tongue when I slipped up stopped whatever I was doing or thinking about. It's very, very gross. Two coats of polish will last for more than one full week before rubbing off. It can help to freshen it up during the week to keep the taste at full unpleasantness.

It ruined finger foods for me during the time I used it. My fingers periodically touched my lips while I was eating, and the nasty taste would rub off slightly. This made me lick my lips a lot to remove the taste quicker-- it's easier to get it over with quickly than to try to avoid it on your lips--which made them lose moisture and chap badly. So you should also buy some lip balm at the same time. If you touch a nail with a fingertip, it will rub off there, too, and from there can transfer to coffee cups, pencils, hors d'oeuvres, etc. Wash your hands before you eat anything that might touch them.

There were no English directions packaged with the product. I don't think this is a problem, since the directions are pretty much obvious (Shake. Paint nails. Gag at taste) but it might be a concern for some people. A great deal of other languages were represented in the instruction pamphlet, including German, Portugese, Spanish, French, and a number of Asian languages.

Mavala Stop has a shine comparable to clear nail polish, but not as shiny as premium or ultra-shine clear nail polish. Your nails will probably not look natural, but if that's a concern, you could probably lie and say it's just a nice, buffed manicure. It could easily be worn over nail polish and would probably work like an extra protective topcoat. The shiny quality rubs out over time. At the end of a week it will be duller and more matte, but also less effective.

The bottle holds roughly the same amount as a regular bottle of nail polish, but Mavala Stop seems to be of a slightly thinner consistency. I recommend carrying the bottle with you in a pocket or purse so that if you must do something to your nails, it can at least be a touch-up. Washing your hands seems to dull it out more quickly, and removes some of the taste, but not all, by far. It does not wash out with water and soap, but the power is reduced.

The only reason you would fail with this product is if you can't bring yourself to enforce it. You have to make sure you put it on and touch it up. The temptation of not putting it on or letting it wear off quickly is certainly there. I would advise getting someone else involved who will scold you or remind you about it.

I would recommend this product to anyone. The price is worth it as it works very well. I am very pleased with the result.'

Panties - cotton, panties

I purchased these a few years ago at a local department store and can no longer find them for sale at any retailer in my area, so I was very happy to find them on the internet.

I went to Kohls, Walmart, Target, etc., and all these department stores sell anymore in the way of underpants are all kinds of things that don't cover up the behind at all. I am interested in comfort, not trying to seduce anyone, so these nice, clean, breathable, cotton underpants are comfortable for everyday living and suit me just fine.

If you want to show off your behind and are not interested in comfort, these aren't for you. If you want comfortable cotton these are recommended.

For those of you who are not familar with this style and brand, you need to take a look at the size chart, because a size 7 in these underpants are considered an extra large. So measure and go by the size chart and you won't have any problem with them fitting.

I would be even happier with this product if it were offered in select colors, such as all black, all white, etc. I had to settle for an assorted colors package. Fruit of the Loom Women's 6-Pack Cotton Body Tone Briefs,Assorted,8

I purchased this 6-pack of Fruit of the Loom panties in a size 10. They are well constructed and comfortable to wear but man, they are HUGE! I guess I should order a size 7 in the future because these are like wearing boxer shorts. It's a good thing the waist band is elasticized or they would probably drop to my knees.

I kept them because it would be too much of a hassle to exchange. I wear them with my baggy shorts when I'm on the treadmill. They are perfect for that since they don't bind or ride up.

When I opened them I thought, "waay too big" ...not worth sending back. Darn it !

But, they actually fit well, cover everything and are unbelievably comfortable !!

NOT something I would let my man see though, very granny.

NOT for low-waisted jeans, either !

To be clear, and in case anyone is put off by reviews stating the panties run big, ALL cotton panties are bigger right out of the package. Before you think they'd make a terrific sail for a small boat, wash them in a warm or hot water cycle, and dry them on high. That said, I bought Jockey briefs (paying a small fortune at Kohl's) three months ago, and they've already started to come apart at the stitching around the waist as well as getting some small holes near the crotch seam. Plus they're MUCH larger--even after washing--than these Fruit of the Loom panties. They fit okay when I put them on, but sag and bag by the end of the day. Not attractive, very uncomfortable, and for a price of $20 per three pack. These Fruit of the Loom panties are 6 for $10, and while I don't yet know if they'll hold up better than Jockey brand, at least I won't have paid more than $6 for each brief. I'm taking a 10 day trip very soon, so needed some new undies. For $1.66 each, I'll be happy if they simply hold up long enough for my travels. On average, my experience with Fruit of the Loom is they hold up for about 6 months. Most stores no longer carry the brand. I find Hanes brand cotton panties start falling apart a bit sooner, and the fit isn't as comfortable as Fruit of the Loom. Yes, these are "Granny Panties", and not a bit sexy. Since my husband isn't traveling with me (and I'm not looking for a cruise ship fling)I don't need sexy lingerie... I need basic, cotton, comfortable panties. These fit the bill nicely!

I only ordered for the 2 black pairs pictured and was disappointed when the package arrived with only one in six being black! Especially since they are not comfortable to me, as I prefer boy leg cut and rayon. I wanted black for traveling when I might need to wash underwear with dark clothes. I may donate the rest to Good Will or Salvation Army.

So annoying--the ONLY reason I bought this underwear was because the photo showed beige/black colors. Instead what I received was 2 pink, 1 maroonish, 2 beige and ONE black. This is not what I wanted. I could get this color combo anywhere -- didn't have to order on line for crying out loud!!

I got this item in time and was happy with the delivery. As soon as i opened the pack,i started laughing. The sizing is ridiculous. After reading few reviews about big size,i ordered them smaller than my pre pregnancy size and still i can fit them on my 29 week pregnant belly now.I think later it would come down to my knees post delivery. My husband joked that if we cut them in front and put buttons then we can have onesies for baby. The material is soft and comfortable and i will order from the same brand as soon as i can figure out correct size. - Panties - Cotton'

Kindle Accessory - kindle 3 covers, kindle accessory

I've noticed that like myself customers have been concerned primarily with two things regarding the new lighted case from amazon. These are: 1)The weight and 2) The uneven lighting. My review will briefly discuss these two things.

1)The Weight - The lighted leather case is a nice weight, sturdy and comfortable to hold. In ounces it is about the weight of the kindle itself however don't let that concern you. With the case on it feels like a medium sized paperback, however it is far much more comfortable to hold. It's easy to hold the case open like a book (nice for couch and table type reading) or to fold the front back and close it with the bungee so that the bungee doesn't hang around (this is good for bedtime reading).Closing the front back with bungee keeps the case folded in position and you don't have to worry about it bothering you. BTW THIS CASE FOLDS BACK 100% - Very comfortable. In sum very comfortable to read with the case and very sturdy.

2) The uneven lighting - Amazon's pictures don't do this case justice. The light hits the ENTIRE screen. Yes if you look closely it's brighter in the top right corner then in the bottom left but Amazon's pics make it look the top is lighted while the bottom is dark. There is good light all over the screen. Trust me I'm fussy about these things - the lighting will not bother you, your entire screen will be lighted and it is extremely pleasant to read in the dark.

*Final Thoughts - Great case, good quality, works well, kindle feels very secure and protected (I would feel comfortable slipping this case into my backpack or suitcase and I think it would sustain some mild impact). Lastly hinges are a non-issue, casing of the kindle will not get damaged with normal or even slightly aggressive use. You could damage the kindle by trying to pull the back of the case but you'd have to really force it to cause any sort of damage to your kindle. The hinges work fine and should not be a concern to any case user.

Update 1st December 2010:

Have now been using the case for 3 months. Leather still looks impeccable. Some people expressed concern that the bungee cord might loosen with use. I have not experienced any loosening so far. Quality of the product has proven outstanding. I've occasionally spilled or messed the cover, just a wipe with a damp cloth has cleaned it up, and the case looks like new. Have to admit I enjoy the feel of the case in my hand, there's just something great about taking your kindle to a coffee shop in this case, it just looks and feels so classy. Also with regard to the hinges: I have had no scratches on my kindle or any other issues, so I remain convinced that the hinges are a non issue. Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, Burgundy Red (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

I was hesitant to buy this cover mostly due to the pictures in its listing, which seem to show a light that doesn't even extend to the opposite corner. The fact that I have not been impressed with the Amazon's Kindle covers in the past didn't help. I went ahead and purchased it because the cover I wanted isn't available yet and I don't like to take my Kindle out and about without a cover. Now I am glad that I went ahead and bought it.

PROS:

1. The light is much better than I thought it would be. Using it in a darkened room I found that the light did the job very well. In a pitch black room, it performs even better. While the screen corner opposite the light is a bit dimmer than other areas, there is no problem reading the page at all.

2. The light gets its power from the Kindle itself, through the gold-plated hinges which attach it to the cover, so batteries are a thing of the past. When your Kindle goes to sleep, the light will go out as well. It will also turn off when you slide it back into the case.

3. The cover is slim, well-fitted and very easy to attach and detach using the hinges. The inside has good padding. The leather outer surface has a nice pebbled texture with the exception of a smooth area along the edge of the front. While stiff enough to protect the reader, the cover is slight flexible and the front easily folds behind when reading so you can hold your Kindle with one hand if you like.

4. A great plus is that the cover has an elastic cord that fits into a groove on the front of it. This holds your cover closed (unlike the original Kindle 2 cover that would flop open in your purse & let things slide into it) and easily distinguishes the front from the back--important as many owners of the Kindle 2 cover accidentally opened it from the back, which could cause cracking along the Kindle's spine.

CONS:

I haven't found any, really. The light Is a bit hard (stiff) to pull out of the cover, but then you wouldn't want it to be flopping out when you don't want to use it so that is more of a Pro than a Con.

The one concern I do have is about pulling the light in and out--I wonder if whatever wiring or conductor that is used to get the power from the hinges to the light will eventually break. But that is something to find out down the road. Right now, the more I use this cover, the more I like it. - Kindle Covers - Kindle 3 Covers - Kindle Accessory - Kindle 3 Cover'

For the costs this product worked great and delivered. Only point of frustrations was plastic tips on the safety trigger would fall off from time to time but replaced them with the ones provided and worked great. Replacement nails are difficult to find to buy plenty off Amazon when you purchase the gun.
