1 Tb External Hard Drive - easy to use, 1 tb external hard drive

I was in desperate need of backing up my entire PC after a hardware failure. This was on my laptop which caused me to temporarily find religion as one does when you feel you are going to lose 500 gb worth of irreplaceable data (in the form of art files, portfolio assets, and general work data!) also wanted ot have enough room to spare so I went for this bad boy at 2 times the size of my back up to allow for expansion. It installs quickly, comes with eSATA cable making it appear as just another hard drive in your system and transfer data very quickly to and from your hard drive. It comes with back up software which allows you to setup back ups as needed and is foolproof. I waited for this drive to become in stock once again and it was well worth it! Iomega 1 TB eSATA 3 GB/USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34280

I probably use this a little differently than most people. I have several computers and a network NAS (Synology DS109) that is used for central storage, so instead of backing up an individual computer, I am backing up my NAS. I had previously been backing up to a USB 2.0 drive that finally died. I didn't want to spend too much but needed 1TB, wanted the eSATA speed, but the option of using USB if eSATA didn't workout (the Synology runs on a Linux kernel and I wasn't sure of compatibility). So this one popped up on Amazon as being the proper capacity, option of eSATA or USB, waranty, really good reviews, and a great price for all that.

So far so good, backed up 250 GB (200,000+ files) from the NAS in about 6 hours. Not as fast as I thought, but I don't use any of the included software and the bottleneck could be on my NAS. It is important to note that backing up a few large several GB files only takes seconds, it is when the system has to enumerate tens of thousands of files that it takes longer so I can back up 12 GB of 3 ISO files in seconds, but 1GB of thousands pdfs or pictures may take 10+ minutes. Like some other reviews, no real heat issues, and actually runs very cool now that the single initial large backup is done. I've had it for almost a month, the NAS backs up to it every 4 hours, never fails, and everything is there.

It came very fast through Amazon (about 2 days on Super Saver shipping) and came with all the needed things. It was supplied with both the USB and the eSATA cable. 5 stars for this one from me.

I've had this drive for about 3 weeks now, on day one I transferred about 500gigs to it via the esata and it was incredibly fast and didn't over heat. I've been transferring smaller files to it since and there's still no problems, a great drive

The drive works great, fast SATA connection instead of USB is a big plus. But I bought the drive in part for the "Never Down" software which is supposed to back up your system drive. It's "included" by which they mean it's not actually in the box, you have to download it. It wouldn't install and then Iomega told me it's not compatible with Windows 7 (which has been out for a long time now). I told them the box lists Windows 7 as being compatible, they said what that really means is it's compatible with the drive, not necessarily the software. Apparently the box means whatever they want it to mean.

Bottom line, don't buy this for the software.

After reading all the positives I first purchased the Lacie 1 TB eSata drive however my experience was not at all positive as I had problems with backing up my computer ( Win 7 64 Bit). I had an existing Iomega Drive attached to my computer and tried backing the same image to it and it worked with the Iomega drive. So I decided to return the Lacie immediately. Since I wanted a larger drive as the existing Iomega drive I had was loaded with other stuff in it,I Ordered the Iomega eSata 1 Tb and connected it to the built in eSata port of my PC, the drive was recognized immediately. Used Win 7 backup utility and it worked. I backed up few times to see if it works and so far I have had no problems. Like others have mentioned it is not a plug and play device, does not bother me.

I wish the cable was longer so that I could place the drive on my desk, anyway ordered the 6' eSata cable to remedy the problem. After reading the instructions for the "Never Down Software" which is downloadable from Iomega I had some concerns and did not install it as the Windows backup utility worked fine. My main reason to buy this drive was to use it as a backup drive with plenty of space.

Received this item in the mail today.

Following instructions; shut down PC, connected power and eSATA cable, powered on, turned PC on.

Drive displayed and moved file to it and deleted file off it.

Booted up Casper and did a system back-up.

2.5 hours later, I shut the PC down, disconnect the internal HDD, and reboot the PC.

The PC detects the IOMEGA with system mirror and I am on the OS via the IOMEGA in no time.

Pros:

- Form Factor is small

- Win7 detection was immediate

- Acts as bootable drive

Cons:

- 'Active' light is on the side as opposed to front.

This is ok for me since it is a once a month back-up, but if using every day would be annoying.

I like to 'see' my equipment running via easily referenced indicator lights.

- Back-Up software is D/L only. People on dial-up are screwed.

I do know local people who are still on dial-up. It still matters.

Unknowns:

- Drive includes a license to back-up software reported to be bootable.

As I already had a license to Casper and like and trust it I have not installed the IOMEGA software.

The paperwork seemed to indicate that the IOMEGA software would come packaged with freebies like McCrapee and other stuff I did not want. Another factor in not bothering to get the IOMEGA goods.

This drive will be used as a once a month back up of my 'archive server/pc' in the basement. If usual IOMEGA quality rates, and it sits quiet and disconnected 28 days a month, it should last me a long long time. - 1 Tb External Hard Drive - External Hard Drive - Easy To Use - Esata'

8 Gb Micro Sdhc Memory Card - micro sd, sdhc

I specifically ordered this memory card for my Blackberry Curve 8330 with two goals in mind.

1: Store videos and music on my phone

2: Expanded memory for applications and documents

On both counts I have not been let down! This card is wicked fast when it comes to file transfers via the Blackberry software. I had expected, indeed planned, for a bit of a "hit" when using the RIM software to expedite file transfers (play lists, music, and videos) but if there is one I am not seeing it.

The included adapter is a handy add on bonus as I do have quite a few microSD cards lying around and can now use those for other devices that accept SD cards.

Oh, and it IS a Class 6 card. Transcend 8 GB microSDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS8GUSDHC6E

I purchased this 8GB - Class 6, upgrading from an 8GB - Class 4, because I needed the faster read/write speeds on my cell phone.

After installing it, I immediately noticed a faster response in the data transfer speeds. My ringtones, music, and pictures loaded faster, even when receiving a call.

I recommend upgrading to the Class 6 to anyone wanting/needing fast transfer rates.

The data transfer rates of SD Cards are:

(Read Speed of a Standard CD-ROM = 150 kb/s)

Class 2 - (Equivalent to ~13x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 2 MB/s

Class 4 - (Equivalent to ~26x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 4 MB/s

Class 6 - (Equivalent to ~40x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 6 MB/s

So, as you can see, the Class 6 is approximately 50% faster than a Class 4.

My overall view of the Transcend MicroSD card is that the product itself is good; however, the adapter that comes with it is not HC compatible. I have contacted Transcend directly about this shortfall and they are replacing the adapters as we speak. I do not blame the vendor that sold the card as the package was sealed and it was not a pirated version of the product. There are many different products available through the Amazon website that are also not HC compatible but sold with high capacity markings. If I were to purchase more cards from Amazon.com I would ensure the vendor tested the functionality with HC cards before I ordered them or allowed them to be shipped to me. I suggest dealing direct wth the manufacturer for these VERY FAST MicroSD Cards as they are now available directly on their website.

I own 6 micro SDHC cards which I use to store a variety of images and files for access on a number of devices. I have 4 Transcend Micro SDHC 16gb cards which are clearly the fastest (data transfer, class 6) and most reliable cards that I have used.

I purchased this 8GB microSDHC Transcend card to replace my 4GB Sandisk microSDHC card. This card works exactly as expected. It's hard for me to comment on the speed of it, class 6. It definitely is class 6 so there shouldn't be any hesitation in purchasing due to a lack of confidence. I don't often transfer data on and off the card so I really didn't notice any speed benefits. Again, the speed benefits may exist but I haven't noticed it. I always thought that Sandisk was the best most reliable brand, but that may not be true. I've had issues with Sandisk cards but this Transcend has worked perfectly.

I had been looking for a cheap way to expand the memory on my G1 phone and I wanted the fastest micro SD card around and here it is - a Transcend 8g class 6 card. The 8gigs is plenty of room to hold my stuff and the price is at the inflection point on cost per gig for me (ie the 16g is too expensive for the speed and the 4gig isn't enough space).

I've been using this as my portable music player now for several weeks and all I can say is there hasn't been a hiccup. In fact, I think the card has also improved the speed of the camera (which is to say the camera is still horribly slow - but maybe just a tad less so on the writes). Additionally, I use the phone, mounted as a USB drive, to move files to and from work. In this, I've noticed that the transfers are much more snappy - always a good thing.

For 20$, this is a great way to expand the storage space on your G1, or on any phone, that sports a micro SD card - Sdhc - 8 Gb Micro Sdhc Memory Card - 8gb - Micro Sd'

Photosmart C6380 - hp photosmart, inkjet cartridges

I loved my HP Photosmart D7360 Printer which used the 02 ink cartridges. The colors were clear and bright and the 02 individual ink cartridges ($9.99) lasted longer than the tri-color cartridges. I would only replace the ink that was low.

My new HP photosmart D7560 uses the 564 ink cartridges which were the same price as the 02, however the 564($9.99) ink cartridges don't last as long. To print the same amount of pictures as the 02 cartridges I have to purchase the 564XL ($18.99) cartridges which are 2x the cost!

I was very disappointed that with the newer models the standard ink cartridges now have less ink and the color is not as vivid. HP printers have always performed well for me the the cost and volume of the 564 have been a disappointment! HP 564 Ink Cartridges, Combo Pack in Retail Packaging

There seems to be several misunderstandings about ink replacements.

1. OEM from the manufacturer

2. Remanufactured from a ink distributor

The inks are basically the same, where do you think the OEM company gets the ink? In order to charge more to cover overhead and profits the OEM companies develop things like chips to "read' the ink. When you buy a remanufactured ink product they will not have the chip and "CAN" read empty misleading people into thinking the cartridges are partially empty and they got a bad deal. In reality they just dont have the chip so the computer misreads the info. It is simple to go into the printer software and turn off the chip reading service and everything will work fine except the ink level readings. They arent really accurate anyway. If getting an inaccurate reading of how much ink you have left is that important to you then you will need to buy the expensive OEM ink for that feature. If you want the same ink just a lot cheaper, remanfactured is a much more economical choice. Be sure to check out the company selling the remanufactured cartridges as with all companies selling anything on the internet, some are good and some are bad. The OEM companies have strict guidelines and only buy from the good companies. You need to research and do the same if you decide to buy remanufactured. The cheapest option normally isnt the best, It's the chepest for a reason. There are several reputable companies here in the USA and regulations are more stringent. I would look for that 1st.

Also keep in mind all black inks from either are not the same, some are for Photo and some are for printing. An example is the HP Black XL 800 pages and the HP Black XL photo 290 pages. It is confusing if one dosn't read the box for the intended use. The photo cartridge actually has a greyish color and is for photo usage only and is not interchanable with the Black XL.

If you are in any way handy, several people find buying refill kits easy and the most economical way to significantly reduce printing cost.

Ink is ink for the most part. When it cost more to buy ink than it did to buy the printer you have to ask yourself how the OEM companies "really" make their profits. Especially, when they dont manufacture the cartridges or the ink they put their name on. They purchase BOTH from the companies that ARE selling them to you as remanufactured at a discount for obvious reasons. Are the OEM cartridges and ink really better just because they stuck a label with their name on it and charge us a 300% mark up for a chip?

You will have to decide, but be educated and know your options before you spend.

I purchased a set of five replacement cartridges recently (not really a set, I had to get them from a few different Amazon sellers) because my printer was new (Photosmart Premium, which I LOVE) and I figured that the cartridges which came with it would not last long. Actually, I did a LOT of printing with them. However, when replacement time came, I took out the black xl (not the photo black), twisted the "arm" off of it (I HATE this system they use to get open their cartridges for placement in the printer) and ARRRRGGGGG...the entire "cap" thing came off, spilling black ink everywhere. RUINED my yellow LL Bean shirt, ink in my keyboard, ink on my synthesizer (Kork workstation which sits beside my computer table)...it was a dreadful mess, and three days later, my fingers are still stained.

Anyway, I called HP tech support, who referred me to the design department (which is, I hear, working on a DIFFERENT design because of this problem.) They have overnighted me a replacement cartridge! For free, of course. So even though the design of these cartridges stinks, HP service has always come through for me.

Do not purchase these replacement ink cartridges. We purchased a HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One Printer from Amazon, which we are satisfied with, but these replacement cartridges will not last. You need to order the XL type, it seems to be worth the extra $$, the XL cartridges actually do last longer. - Inkjet Cartridges - Hp 564xl - All In One Printer - Hp Photosmart'

Audio Cables - audio cables, audio cable

...just purchased a home theater receiver and 5.1 speakers....needed a sub cable. After looking at Belken and others, I found this to be the best quality and best price. You don't really need gold connectors but this cable was less expensive than many which were much lower quality. Mediabridge Ultra Series - Dual Shielded Subwoofer Cable - RCA to RCA Gold Plated Pro Grade Connectors (25 Feet)

Built really well, I used this as a video cable running under neath my truck for a backup camera. Thick insulation means it will last a long time (I hope). Still working even after all winter with several snow storms and now rain storms.

Hooked this up to a subwoofer splitter to give me two subwoofers from receiver subwoofer pre-amp out. Even thought it's 25 feet (while the other is 3 feet), I couldn't quite tell the latency as both subwoofers seem to be in sync. I assume (from a non-electrical guru) this mean the thick cable allow the signal to travel through faster? Great price cable that does the job. Happy not to pay extra for expensive cables.

When I receive this cables I was surprised by high quality of this cables. I did check this cables with PYLE Pro Tester and test was positive. This cables are definitely quality product, I highly recommended.

I've been working with home theatres and home automation for the past 4 years and have to say that Mediabridge makes some excellent cables for the price. I've done work with a number of there different series cables and types and all of them have high quality builds and features. Can not pass up for the price..!

Mediabridge Ultra Series - Dual Shielded Subwoofer Cable - RCA to RCA Gold Plated Pro Grade Connectors (both 25 Feet and 15 Feet items):

Highly recommended for computer speaker use.

I bought three of the 15' version and two of the 25' version of these shielded RCA male/male cables for use in a desktop computer surround sound environment, and must say I'm blown away by how great my speakers sound now!

A little background: I have a fairly serious home/office setup with 2 PCs and a Mac Mini, 2 LCD screens, 1 large CRT, wireless hub, 3 printers... let's just say lots of hardware in a small space -- all with their various power cables and data wires or wireless connections. No doubt there's plenty of RFI/EMI/radiation flying around here, and it's probably contributing to my receding hairline. My custom-built oak computer desk was especially designed to hide all the wires with lots of cut-out holes and hidden cable runs, which unfortunately packs lots of cables together in sometimes pretty tight spaces. I work at home all day, listening to MP3s and talking via Skype; also there's a little light gaming some evenings.

For the past 5-6 years I'd been listening to a SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro with Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 surround speakers (non-powered; amp inside subwoofer enclosure) and had been pretty happy -- until I happened across the phenom of "near field monitors" and other recording-studio-quality speakers. It was a humbling experience, walking into a music equipment store and telling the guys I thought I had a pretty decent setup and then coming to find out it doesn't even begin to hold a candle to decent setups.

My Gigaworks S750 subwoofer/amp just happened to die suddenly during a lightning storm (it was actually powered down and unplugged, but I know, right?) so I decided to replace the whole speaker setup. After Googling and poring over tons of speaker reviews, I bought five KRK Rokit RPG6 speakers at the local Guitar Center because they sound good for the price (caught them on sale), they look good ("Black and yellow, black and yellow"...), and they have all three RCA, TRS, and XLR connections on the back. Plugged them in with my existing unshielded RCA cables from the Gigaworks setup and immediately got the infamous 60Hz hum and hiss. It was unbearably loud when the main computer was turned completely off, but got somewhat quieter when it was turned on and providing signal. The volume of this noise didn't vary much with changing the output volume from the sound card.

So I Googled around a bit and discovered this could be caused by either a "ground loop" or interference (RFI/EMI) problem. Spent the next several days trying to figure out if I needed to invest in some heavy-duty "balanced" TRS or XLR wires and how to connect the 2-conductor RCA wires from the back of my X-Fi sound card to these 3-conductor wires. I almost had it when a couple of guys on head-fi.org suggested I try these cables instead.

Long story short is these cables did the trick, in spades. Even being run right along-side lots of existing 120v, 60Hz power cables and such, there's no audible hum or hiss.

These are also much cheaper than some of the brand-name competition. I didn't buy Monster cables and so can't compare, but IMHO zero noise is zero noise no matter how much you spend.

Highly recommended for someone with a computer sound card and the RFI/EMI interference that goes along with typical computer installations. - 25ft - Audio Cable - Audio Cables - Subwoofer Cables'

Baby Wipes - pampers, baby dry

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:

1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.

2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)

3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.

4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.

5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

Hope this review was helpful!

I made the huge mistake of buying the baby dry after reading through the reviews. I thought that for the price, why not try them. What a huge mistake! I should have just bought a smaller amount to try them first. Instead we have been using these for over a month now and I have had to clean up a poop spill at least every other day. My baby was 4 months old when we started using these and since she is not eating solids yet, the poop is pretty runny. The baby dry don't absorb the runny poop and it tends to just go right up the back side of the diaper onto her outfit and usually whatever or whoever she is lying on. It's just not worth the money saved! I will only buy the Swaddlers from now on. Hope this helps someone wondering which to buy Swaddlers or Baby Dry, DEFINITELY go with the SWADDLERS!!

It must depend on your child because I tried the cruisers after always using baby dry on my son and they failed us several times. I went right back to baby dry and no more leaks. I have also tried other brands and I loved Huggies for my daughter but they don't work for my son. Funny how each is different. I am a mother of 4 and Luvs worked for my other son. You just go with what works for your child. I also have noticed that they work differently for different ages as well. Good idea to try a few out before you buy the jumbo packs.

Like other reviewers suggested, the size description is wrong. My five month old is about 15 lbs and a perfect size 2, and this size 1-2 is only up to 15 pounds. I'd say it fits up to size 1 1/2 comfortably. Pampers sells a size straight size 2 in smaller packs. Pampers diapers are great; easy to re-strap if you don't do it right the first time. The smell is pleasant, and the design cute sesame street characters. I recommmend, just make sure your baby is just barely out of size 1 to get this size 1-2!

I used to use the more expensive Pampers Cruisers but thought I'd try the Baby-Dry to save some money. I bought a pack at a local store first to make sure the fit and performance was good. I liked them just fine. Nice stretchy tabs, much like the Cruisers. So I ordered from Amazon. I ordered three cases to take advantage of a promotion Amazon was running. But the diapers I received must be old stock, before Pampers put the "flex" stretchy sides on the Baby-Dry diapers. The older expiration dates on the Rewards code confirms this. Maybe they've gotten rid of the old stock; then those newer diapers would rate 4.5 stars. These non-flex diapers barely close to fit my baby whereas the flex ones were plenty big. It irks me that Amazon posts a picture of the "flex" diapers and delivers a different, inferior product.

I love Pamper's Swaddlers. I've tried Huggies and both Pampers brands, and out of all of them Swaddlers are my favorite. That being said, the Baby Dry diapers are terrible. With Swaddlers you can adjust the fit, and the diapers are really soft. Baby Dry diapers feel like they're recycled and and I really dislike the sticky waist straps. They're shorter so you can't adjust the fit as easily, and the waist is always loose--with a boy that's a very bad idea because he tends to get his clothes wet through the TOP of the diaper instead of the sides now. I can't wait until we use these up because I will never buy Baby Dry again.

I have three children in diapers. My oldest is 4 years old and is autistic. We have not been able to potty train him yet.

We tried several brands only to find out that Pampers Baby Dry was always the one we went back to. No question! No leaks! But the cost of our diapers just adds up. Amazon has the absolute cheapest price I have found - in stores or on-line. And free shipping, and I got (...) off with a promotion for baby items over (...) prurchased. I made out! And never had to leave my door! Thanks Amazon! Really! - Baby - Pampers - Baby Wipes - Baby Dry'

Sooo my mom bought this as a gift for me when she found out I was pregnant.

We all know the bag is an accessory for the mother, not the baby. I thought this was the cutest thing ever. I still love the design.

Anyway, after using it for about a week, the smiles on both the bag and the changing pad had fallen off. I have since super-glued them back on, but they've fallen off a few times. Sad! Julius looks ridiculous without his smile! Now, my daughter is 4 1/2 months old and probably since about 2 months, the grommets on the straps have pulled out and a lot of times the straps pull out of the buckles because of it. Anyone who is a mommy with a purse/backpack, an infant carrier, grocery bags, a water bottle, and a diaper bag falling off your shoulder knows how much of a hassle that would be.

I love the look of this diaperbag, and I knew with the paulfrank label that it'd be expensive, but I just wish the quality stood up like much of the other paulfrank merchandise that I own. Paul Frank Bowler Style Diaper Bag, Black

I've been a fan of Paul Frank since I was a kid myself. When I was expecting a child of my own, I was really excited when I found this diaper bag. Despite the hefty price tag, I decided that I had to have it.

The bag itself is cute, but the quality is lacking. Julius' smile began to peel off three months into use. I was able to super glue his mouth back into place, but I definitely expected higher quality from Paul Frank. The bag has lots of pockets, which are useful. It's HUGE, you can pack practically anything into this bag. And I love that it has the two shorter straps for over the shoulder AND the longer strap for cross body use.

This bag does what it's suppose to do, but if given the opportunity to go back into time I don't think I would pick this bag again.'

Lingerie Sets - sleepwear, lingerie sets

Beautiful. More than i expected.

Great price, fast and courteous.

I love it and with a scarf can be worn out and discreetly left to be with the person you're wearing it for when alone... great deal and lovely service. Would definitely purchase again from this seller !!

~ bets Dreamgirl Women's Sheer Shirt with Bra and Pant, Black, Medium

The look is quite stunning, much like when she wears one of my dress-shirts as a nightgown, but the material is a bit fragile. It runs a bit small, seams are single-stitched which tend to stretch or tear after a few uses, and even with hand washing, it did not last more than a few months before it began to come apart at the seams. The bra and thong are little more than "eye-candy", but that is what they are for, right? The bra is also designed for "perkier", "smaller" breasts... my wife is 38D, and the function was not quite there, if you know what I mean... If you are petite, with 34-36A/B cups, this will be more to your liking for mood setting.

Overall, 4-stars for the look, price, and function. Lost one star because of durability, bra size, and overall size running one size smaller than the label.

This is not Vicky's Secret stash, but it is pretty hot. For the price the quality is good and the fit is nice. My wife looked hotter than the woman in the picture, so this worked out pretty great for me. This is a buy if you have looked at it more than twice.

I bought this MOSTLY for the sheer shirt, it was hard to find my size in black anywhere, especially as it got closer to Christmas. I finally bought one in black from this seller and when it arrived in time for Christmas I was very pleased. It came with a cute hanger and all wrapped neatly in plastic clothing bag.

I tried it on and even with the large size I ordered the bra and g-string didn't fit me very well, they seemed too small for me, but like I said I had mostly bought this for the shirt anyway. When I put the shirt on it fit me PERFECT, like the buttons closed at the perfect area to give me a nice shape through the sheer fabric, and the sleeves are the perfect length.

I already have a separate g-string and bra I planned to wear under this so it all works out nicely =)

my husband didn't think it was sexy... and this is definitely the first piece of lingerie i own that he's ever said that about. and i can't just wear it as a sleep shirt - it's very rough. the only thing i like is the little white lacey thong... which i'm wearin right now ;)

When I got this I was pretty surprised because it was a purple/pink color rather than white. I mean it can pass as white but it isn't exactly, and it also looks very large. It only has two buttons, so finding uses for this shirt outside of the bedroom will be difficult. The material is also stiff a little bit rough.

The bra and panty set that comes with this shirt is lovely, a nice lace and fit me really well. The bra does have a hook on the back, but is tied around the neck. The sleeves ran long on me, covering my hands. I wasn't too thrilled about it but when I put it on and showed my boyfriend he liked it.

Bra not functional for 38D although function isn't why I bought it. I'm a size 14 after losing a lot of weight and panties looked ridiculous on me. Love the feeling of the see through shirt. Feels naughty.

Lovely outfit and the top could be used for a blouse. My significant other thinks I am a prince for surprising her with this item. I have a problem with the seller--it doesn't respond to emails relating to the shipping. Happily, I found what I thought was missing but nonetheless, the Seller's arrogance made me leary of purchasing more from the Company. Interestingly, the Seller has blocked my rating it: 4 stars, not the 5 it could have gotten! - Sexy Lingerie - Sleepwear - Dreamgirl - Lingerie Sets'

Unlocked Cell Phones - unlocked phones, mytouch 4g

OK, so the battery life on this phone is weak if u let it run full blast, with all options etc... enabled, here is what you do: Download SetCPU from the market, now, set the scaling to CONSERVATIVE. Now your phone will not jump wildly from 245-1024 MHz at the slightest processor activity. Experiment with the profiles, you can lower the CPU while the screen is off for instance, i have mine set to 368 MHz whenever the screen is off, and set the priority high. This phone is AWESOME if you have it unlocked/rooted, its functionality and capability are opened wide up for you, just look up the forums on xdadevelopers.c0M THis phone has all the great features mentioned above yada yada, blazing fast in my opinion even having owned an iPhone, this phone opens and page FULLY first before the iPhone does, the iphone loads the 'window" faster, but the My Touch finishes loading FIRST< ALWAYS ON EVERYTHING. MY phone has been off the charger now for 17 and a half hours i browsed the net for 20 min, made some phone calls, took some videos and pictures, download some apps, played need for speed shift 20 min. My phone is at 59% after light to moderate use, almost 18 hrs later its not even half battery yet. Now on a HEAVY USE day, i can go all day before having to put it on the charger in the late evening. Hope this review helps someone with their battery. Tmobile Mytouch 4g Unlock Cell Phone By Htc. 5mp Camera + Front Camera for Video Chat. 1GHz Snapdragon Processor

I received the package on the expected shipment date but the shipment seem to miss the 8GB SD card that was included in he package. Without this the camera was pretty useless. This seems an order fulfillment issue, I hope they rectify the issue.

First off, I've been using iPhone 3G for about 3 years and still love it despite the short battery life and surprisingsly still works just fine after everyday usage. Since I've heard so much good things about Google operating system I wanted to buy another phone and try it out. I first bought Motorola XT720 with Android 2.1 but realized that the SD memory with over 7gb couldn't be used when downloading apps from Google market!? So I ran out of memory after using up only few thousand megabytes of the phone memory. There were other flaws such as not being able to create Yahoo email accounts for quick viewing of all the email accounts with out loging in and loging out with each email. Whereas iPhone you can have Gmails and Yahoo mails accounts and I have over 15 email accounts in which you can see it all at once. I returned the Motorola and got my Mytouch 4g just two days ago and so far I'm loving it! I say so far because who knows what will pop up after playing with it for awhile like I did with the Motorola. Anyway, I checked the user reviews for this phone prior to purchasing and that the consensus was that it is a good phone but has couple of complaints such as speaker volume. Sure enough, after trying it out, the speaker is really poor compared to the Motorola I had. The Motorola had dual speakers and this Mytouch only has one so when you're in a semi-loud environment you really can't hear too well even the volume is up all the way. Another complaint was the face to face video calling but I haven't used it yet and I'm not that much concern about it since not too many people have that capability on their phones so I don't need that feature at this time. Otherwise, everthing else seems to work just fine. I love the camera with flash and the video recording comes with flash light so you can record in the dark! I will continue to update if I see anything else I need to mention as I get used to using this phone more.

Edit: December 13th, 2010

I've been using this phone now for little less than a month and I'm changing my opinion from loving it to just liking it. The things I really like about this phone so far are that what I mentioned before, camera and apps from Google. Also, this phone does allow you to create more than one email accounts from both Yahoo and Gmails. So I'm able to see it all at once since I have over 15 email accounts. It is, however, not as good as my iPhone 3G. It seems to be much slower in retrieveing all the emails compared to my iphone and it's not clear cut looking either. Ok here's the one MAJOR reason that I had to drop the star rating from 4 to 3 stars on this phone, and that is the battery life is ridiculously WEAK! I thought my iPhone 3g was weak but it still isn't that bad compared to Mytouch 4G! It is a pet-peeve of mine with a weak battery life on any phones, the CNET review says 4 to 5 hours of talking time but I really didn't even come close to using it that much. I tried using the battery saver apps such as killer apps and juice saver apps but none helped at all! I barely use it for no more than an hour of talking then did some internet surfing for couple of hours and my battery had drained more than 40%??? This is after fully charged! So now I have to charge this phone about twice a day if not more! I don't know if it's the battery that might be defected or not but it's a brand new phone and battery and I'm not about to go and spend another $40 for a new battery to see if it's defected or not. Another flaw detection is that when I am sending some old photos from my laptop to my emails so that I could downloaded to this phone's gallery but it wouldn't do it???!!! I never thought this would be an issue? This phone doesn't have a selection of which to download into the gallery format! So the photos are just stuck there in the format under the email I sent and if I need to view it, I have to open that email and view it from there. This is a major problem for me. I will keep this phone and will be purchasing iPhone 5G when it comes out next year.

Edit: 12/18/10

Previously I complained that there was no selection in downloading the pictures from the email to the gallery on the phone and that is still true. However, about couple of days later I found that the photos were there in the gallery??!! It took about few days before it actually got into the gallery? There obviously is some sort of delay effect. I'm happy that it did get to be downloaded into the gallery but it's annoying still to think that it took so long for it to do it. Strange. This is definitely a bug with this phone. - Mytouch 4g - Unlocked Phones - Unlocked Cell Phones - Wireless Accessories'

Receipt Scanner - pdf, neat receipts

I purchased a NeatDesk scanner awhile ago to answer a growing need at home for more robust scanning. I'm one of those people that needs to have everything neatly filed away even though I will probably never see it again. I also religiously enter all my personal receipts and track my personal finances in detail. This seemed the perfect product to answer both needs.

I was used to the Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 that I have at work, but in addition to an arm they also wanted a leg. The price of the NeatDesk is substantially less (about 40% for what I paid), and the promotional material for the scanning software was really sexy. So I clicked buy.

After a few days, my conclusion is that although it could be an outstanding product with a couple of tweaks, it's just not ready for primetime. This may be the case of a small company working on tight margins with a product that got too big too fast. It remains to be seen whether or not they can keep up with their new-found popularity.

Here's the dirt:

Hardware:

Good Stuff

- Attractive design.

- You can click the hardware "Scan" button all day, but you don't have to file your scans until you want to.

Bad Stuff

- No adjustable paper guide. Unless you hold it as it's sucked in, every single document is crooked.

- Not enough paper support. Creased documents (like a bill) flop back and aren't grabbed properly.

- I found the slot for receipts and documents to not match any receipt or document I had... Nice slot for business cards though.

- The output tray is not attached to the scanner body. Huh?

- It came with the grim spectre of having to clean and calibrate your scanner. You don't have to clean or calibrate the ScanSnap, although the ScanSnap does include "consumables", so maybe it's a tie.

Software:

Good Stuff

- Recognizes dates, subtotal, sales tax, and credit card used. This alone almost makes the product an overall winner and definitely put it on top for scanning receipts.

- As mentioned above, you don't have to file away your scans until you want to.

- Extremely fast search.

- It's pretty--yeah, that's important.

Bad Stuff

- Always takes the scan from the front but from the sheet in the back, which may be more intuitive for the beginner, but also means that a stack of double-sided sheets will go into the software backwards (page 2, 1, 4, 3, etc.) so you'll have to sort your document before and after scanning. Maybe I just haven't figured this one out, but it does seem like they emphasis multiple single-page documents vs. one multiple-page document.

* UPDATE: I figured out that you have to put the document in face up and everything is scanned in from the last page to the front. Your physical document will come out sorted, and the software will reverse the order of the scanned pages for you so the electronic document is correct.

- Does not auto-rotate to fix crooked problem caused by not having adjustable paper guides.

- Does not do auto-color detection--it's either all black-and-white or all color and you must choose. Those "Scan" and "PDF" buttons on the front are great, but you have to go into the Quick Scan application to set up how everything will be scanned first, defeating the convenience.

- Viewing the documents that are in the library is difficult. Should have a simple hand-tool for dragging and allow multiple documents to be open at one time.

- Moving data around the library is laborious.

- Software installs SQL Server Express, which takes up system resources and at least for me causes the program to not want to start up (try again message a couple of times before starting). Sure the search results come back very quickly, but at what cost? As a developer, I actually already had SQL Server Express installed, but it went ahead and installed another instance... Not very nice.

- Lots of opportunities to categorize data, but searching for the categories is difficult. For example, to see what you marked for follow up click "Advanced Search", click "Looking at..." and select "Action Type", click "Selected in the List", click and check box that says "Follow Up". It's more work finding out what's marked "follow up" than to actually follow up.

- The heavy emphasis is on recording receipts for expenses that will be reimbursed by your employer or be tax deductible. So what happens when I have a pay stub for consulting work? I have to file it as a document where I can't tag it's dollar amount, can't tag it as 1099 income, and it can't be exported to Quicken. That's one of the main reasons I got the scanner.

- Categories for receipts are very limited. Need a split? You'll have to do it yourself when you get to Quicken if you can remember what the receipt was for. Sales tax is always exported as an over-generalized "State Tax".

How it Could (Easily) be Made Great

- Package in or sell another paper guide that is adjustable. You can use the same snap-in style that is used for the receipt/business card guide.

- Add one inch to the pull-out paper support.

- Update the software to take scans from the face down position first on double-sided scans. Take the scan from the face down position only in single-sided scans.

* UPDATE: Even though this way seems more intuitive to me, the way the software does it is okay (see update above).

- Add in auto-color detection and auto-rotate so that scans always come out right. If Neat Co can do awesome text-detection, they could do this.

Conclusion

Seems to be an innovative company so I'll keep it in anticipation of at least the software updates. NeatDesk Desktop Scanner and Digital Filing System

I went to the store looking for the Neat Receipts scanner, and I came across this new product. I could not be more happy for buying it! I had 4 years worth of credit card and bank statements piled up in boxes, and with this scanner system I was able to scan them and organize them on my computer in less than a day (I'm talking hundreds of pages).

I have absolutely no complaints on this (other than the price, which is high, but it is a new product and it will come down).

The scanner can read 2 sided documents and scan both sides, in color! And it does it fast.

It also reads receipts and business cards and extracts the information from them (such as what store the receipt is from, how much total was, how much tax was, date of transaction, etc...) The best part about this feature is that it lets you edit the information (sometimes necessary if the receipt was very worn or wrinkled.

The software is extremely easy to use and very powerful. A great feature about the scanner/software is that you can load a bunch of pages and start scanning them. While they scan you can work on filing other documents. Once the pages are scanned they go into a sort of "inbox" where they wait for you to look at them and decide where to file them.

The two sided, color scanning is great and very fast. Another convenient feature the program has is the ability to combine several pages into one document. All you do is click on the different pages while holding down control and click combine ... and you have one file for a multi page document!

All the files you scan into the program are searchable, so you can enter a search term and it will bring up all the documents (or receipts or business cards, depending on which section you are searching in). Very handy to search back on when you bought something...

Another great feature for those that do not receive paper statements is the pdf import feature! If you get your statements from online, you can still import the file into the program (as if you had scanned it in yourself) and have the searchable capabilites of the other files.

Keep in mind, this is probably not a good scanner to scan pictures with, but for a document scanner, it is fast, and very good. I just hope it lasts the wear and tear I'm subjecting it to right now. I am very thankful that this product has helped me get rid of all of my paper clutter!!! - Scanner - Neat Receipts - Filing - Pdf'

Science Thriller - anthologies, classic sci-fi

It's hard to complain about a $2 electronic book that gives you over 30 novels/stories in it. There's got to be something for every sci-fi fan in a collection like that. I personally bought it for the Skylark series.

Which brings me to why I only gave the collection 3 stars (actually, I'd like to give 3.5, but that is not an option offered by Amazon).

I have had the entire Skylark series and the Lensman series since I first started reading for enjoyment ... some 40 years ago. I still have all the paperback volumes. But I'm older now and it's much easier for me to use my computer and the Kindle for PCs which Amazon was so kind to give me to read my favorite authors. I was sorely disappointed to find that in all my searching only the first two novels from the Skylark series are available on Kindle. I can't find SL of Valeron or SL DeQuesne in any of the collections or as a seperate purchase. And the same is true of the excellent Lensman series. This is very disappointing to me. True, I still have the paperbacks, but would like the electronic versions now.

In an anthology such as this, with so many titles included; it eludes me as to why the publishers cannot include the complete series. Yes, perhaps it is a question of royalties and such, but writer Smith is no longer with us and some of his work is available (all of it in paperback). It puzzles me.

Well, that is the case with this book. That's my beef. Now, for the casual reader who likes science fiction from the golden years. This electronic book is an incredible value. For less than the price of one of today's paperbacks, you get over 30 novels from some of the older names. Truly the material (technical aspects) is dated and sometimes the story is a little campy. But the writings are very enjoyable.

While I'm hoping for a Kindle release of a complete collections version, this is a good temporary solution and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys science fiction. Great enjoyment that won't empty your wallet.

The stories are clearly dated, as I've read quite a few that either dealt directly with or had the backdrop of the arms race between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. and the political systems represented by the two at the time. The stories themselves are bare and simple (character development at times take a backseat) and slowly guide the reader into the their worlds, lending themselves to be easily understood and followed.

This is contrasted with more modern Scifi short stories that tend to throw the reader abruptly into the story and piled on layers of complexity in order to achieve a multidimensional depth. Perhaps with the ages, the scifi aficionados have evolved such that they desire such nuances even from a short story. For folks that like to get back to basics, or for lazy Sundays when you want to lay back and take it easy, these old stories from a simpler time make an enjoyable read.

Fun to read but would have been more fun when I was 10 years old! I am 69 now! Very wordy but the science is close to the mark even remaining far out! And they missed some stuff like computers and robots! - Science Thriller - Science Fiction - Classic Sci-fi - Anthologies'

Lg Optimus - screen protectors, lg optimus v

The product that was sent was not made for our phones. We were sent covers for an Ipod not an LG Optimus V as stated in the description. Instead of sending them back for 2 bucks. We used a pair of scissors and a marker to trim it to fit our phones. (Their product caption reads as follows: "5x Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V Premium Clear LCD Screen Protector Shield Cover Guard Film Kit, no cutting is required! Exact fit and satisfaction guaranteed!") That was not the case at all, next time we get some covers we will just go to a Best Buy and shop around. Its just a thin piece of plastic with a little stick-um on it, not some type of advance tri-layer clear vinyl film. 5x Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V Premium Clear LCD Screen Protector Shield Cover Guard Film Kit, no cutting is required! Exact fit and satisfaction guaranteed!

purchased the LG optimus V <---- protectors and they sent me the ones for the optimus S <--- which have a square cut out on the top and serves no purpose on the OPTIMUS V <----- V V V V V not S The picture of the product is correct but clearly says for optimus S on the packaging i was sent. not satisfied and will be requesting a return and exchange!!!

I received 5 of these so my husband and I can both use them and we have extras in case they get worn out. It comes with a wipe to get old fingerprints off and the directions are pretty easy to follow - all in all a good purchase.

Not impressed as they don't stick well at all. I've had tons of these for past phones but these are the worst. The covers are made of too hard of plastic which make it extremely difficult to get the bubbles out.

I never received my item. I am very disappointed! I contacted the sender why hadn't i received my order. He said It might have gotten lost in the mail. Said he would resent it on April 1, still have not received.. never again will i order something from him!!!!!!!

I ordered this product almost 2weeks ago and still havent received it yet! I contacted the seller and he said something was wrong with their cutting machine. I feel that they should have contacted me first! I will never order from here again!! - Screen Protectors - Lg Optimus V'

Office Storage Supplies - desk organizer, organizer

This is a good, solid product. It works as it is supposed to and appears to be well made. It came with four little foam "stickers" to put on the bottom to prevent scratches to the desktop.

I am quite pleased with this purchase. It helped organize and more effectively utilize my desk space. Safco Mesh Desk Organizer with Two Horizontal and Six Upright Sections (3255BL)

Great for those who need several folders in easy reach at once. I bought it to use as a staffing recruiter, and needed about 4 folders for different stages of the process. This fit the bill perfectly and the bottom two slots I use for blank forms and an in-box. Two extra slots on top give me peace of mind for future expansion. I love this thing.

This is not an inexpensive product, but I love it. It fits on my desk and helps me keep everything in order. It's much more attractive than other organizational tools I saw online. I'll probably have it forever.

Great product for those who tend to pile paper on their desk top. Coupled with letter size file folders it was easy to get organized and equally easy to retrieve file papers by category. Highly recommend.Safco Mesh Desk Organizer with Two Horizontal and Six Upright Sections (3255BL)

I saw this item in the Gold Box deal section. I looked at it just wondering why it costed almost $40. I was surprised to hear that the top slots were 2" wide. This is a very good-sized unit. I added it to my cart, and also after checking its dimensions, I also picked up from Amazon a Whitmor 6054-585 Supreme Wide Stacking Shelf, Chrome (note: the one measuring 14"x15"x15", not the wide one). The Whitmor shelf fits *perfectly* over the Safco organizer. Between these two products, I have organized my workspace tremendously.

As far as the Safco itself, I find the build quality to be above average, definitely exceeding expectations. It's much sturdier than similar fare I've seen in office supply stores. This product was well worth the cost, and turned me on to Safco. I will definitely consider their other products based on the quality of this organizer.

I am a teacher and have a rather large corner desk at home that quickly becomes cluttered with schoolwork, bills, mail, etc. I had a hard time finding a good filing system in the stores.

I looked on Amazon and found this black, mesh organizer perfect for my desk! As soon as I got it, I set it up on my desk and was able to fit all my folders and random junk on it. My desk doesn't look cluttered anymore, I'm able to find everything I need, and it even matched another black mesh item I already had on my desk! - Desktop - File Sorters - Organizer - Desk Organizer'

Portable Headphones - titanium, portable headphones

At home I had been using the larger type headphones (Sony) that fit over the ear completely. They are heavy but I had no intention of changing. I was looking through different ones for work and had saved these in my shopping cart, but had decided on a different pair. I accidently purchased these and it wasn't worth sending them back for a refund so I kept them and now I use these instead of my Sonys. The sound is fantastic. They are much lighter and the volume control make these one of the best mistakes I've made. There are better headphones out there, but for this price, these deserve a 5 star rating. Koss KTXPRO1 Titanium Portable Headphones with Volume Control

Recently purchased an MP3 player with low output, and wanted a pair of on-- not IN-- ear 'phones. These have been a more than pleasant surprise! As a classical music listener, portable phones are plagued with shrill highs, boomy bass; these have a smooth, fairly neutral quality. The headband design is very comfortable, the volume control convenient and they are efficient enough for my MP3 player. At this price (and even if much more), a great find and great value.

Hi all, I have been a user of the Radio Shack Pro 25/35 series of headphones for years. The Pro 25s have been replaced by the Pro 35s, which have been replaced by the Pro 35As in the past couple years or so. You may ask "what relevance is that to me?"

because the Pro 35As are rebranded versions of the KOSS KTXPRO1s

(Just as the Pro25s were rebranded versions of the KTXPRO)!! They are equivalent right down to the last response spec, they even look almost identical (go look yourself!). The only real difference worth noting is the 1/8" plug on the Radio Shack verion is gold plated. Radio Shack will charge you twice the price if they are not on sale, so you can save serious dough here.

Now, down to the sound and comfort which is what (i hope) all of you want to know. Of most importance to me is sound. I tell you these deliver overall sound equivalent or better than budget Sennheisers! (i have listened to the HD-220 and HD-457, the HD-457 i use for backup and extended listening). The KOSS KTXPRO1s are far superior to every lightweight headphone i have ever listened to, better than budget headphones (under $50) of just about any kind! The only sub $50 headphones that sounded even close are the Sennheiser HD-457s and i believe the Sony Street Style MDR-G73LPs of all things. Sound is rich, clear, and true, clean highs which are not harsh at all (unless your source sucks) and bass is amazingly powerful for such lightweight things. The bass is not muddy like the HD-220s nor is it unable to handle the very low bass found in music like Dance, House, Drum & Bass, Rap and Hip Hop. It is not overly punchy either, the bass in my opinion is very balanced. Midrange is true, balanced, and clear as well. Beware of the inline volume control, only use it in moderation, you may realise your CD player is turned up, and sound is not loud but there is distortion (your in-line volume is low) It is great though of people who dont like to touch the CD player for volume often or need a quick abbreviated adjustment.

Comfort with these is better than 95% of all lightweights. The drivers usually make full conact with your ear ( if you have a particularly large head it may not, i wear a fitted size 7 5/8 (XL) hat and it barely makes complete contact), but over very long periods of time (over 3 hours) may make your ears hurt a bit (this was a larger problem with the Pro 25s/KTXPro but with the redesign, spring pressure of the drivers to the ears has been reduced). The rubber headband is a welcome feature, as the top of your head stays comfortable, don't worry, the rubber wont grip your hair at all. They also manage to stay on your head well enough, well, maybe not if you are running, you'll have to readjust them every now and then. For staying on your head, the Pro25/KTXPro does a better job,and will make full even contact with your ear, but they are poorer for extended listening.

My one issue is that you may notice a vibrating/buzzing of the foil diaphram if you listen to high volumes with heavy backup guitar and bass a lot. I have noticed this thoroughout this line of headphones. I think that the foil diaphram becomes detached slightly over time and heavy use. As i test them now they are reproducing only very very slight vibration/buzz in the right ear (Test song: VAST - Here) and i've had these for about 7-8 months, you wouldnt hear it unless you were listening for it. But then again you get a litetime warranty so all is well.

These nitpicky things cannot overshadow the outstanding sound in a lightweight headphone for the price. Even if you have to possibly buy a new pair (or have Koss give you new ones) every 6 months due to diaphram vibration/buzz (if you have good ears :) ) they are so cheap and sound so excellent for their size it's well worth the purchase. - Titanium - Portable Headphones - Koss - Ktxpro1'
