Highly Recommended - hdmi splitter, highly recommended

I purchased this HDMI Auto Switch last month, and it works just perfectly. I connected my TiVo HD DVR and DVD recorder up to this switch and into my HD TV, so that both of my components could share a single HDMI connection, and it works like a charm. Anytime that I want to watch a DVD, I only power on the DVD recorder, and the switcher automatically switches from the TiVo DVR to the DVD recorder. When I power off the DVD recorder, the switcher automatically switches back to the DVR, just like the product description on this Amazon.com site states.

I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone and everyone out there who have multiple devices with an HDMI connection. The great advantage to having this HDMI switcher is that the user does NOT have to physically get up and push any buttons on the switcher just to use one of their HDMI connected components like their DVD recorder, DVR, etc. This HDMI Auto Switch sure beats the heck out of other HDMI switchers that require the user to physically get up and PUSH the buttons on the switcher just to use a different HDMI connected device.

To all out there with multiple HDMI connected devices, this product is an AWESOME buy for YOU. HDMI 3-In 1-Out HDMI Auto Switch with 1.5 ft. Cable

This is the product for you if you need a cheap but reliable solution to lack of HDMI inputs on your HDTV. No more getting up, turning everything off, and swapping cables back there.

Works exactly as advertised. I have a (few years old) OPPO DVD upconvert player and issued COMCAST HD DVR plugged into the adapter.

Turning on the DVD player automatically switches the input to DVD. Turning off the DVD player automatically switches back to TV. Couldn't be simpler. No problems yet.

Not sure why you would need to spend $50-150 on an HDMI switch box...

Works as advertized. Perfect if you need multiple HDMI inputs with auto switching ability. Some electronics do not always switch entirely off so this may confuse it's selection process. Not the fault of this device, however.

This device is not what I need. The unit creates strong signal noise which transfers to the screen of my HDTV. I was able to prevent this, but running one HDMI cable behind an sheet of aluminum and the other cable in front of the aluminum sheet. This should not be necessary for the unit to work properly. It was not the cables either, because the manual switch I replaced it with didn't need the sheet of aluminum while still using the same cables. Additional observations are that the light on the switch is too bright for low light level TV viewing. It is very distracting. The sound from my DVR and DVD player come through half the time, but I had to restart the DVR and DVD systems several times to bring sound back when I would lose it. If you are buying this for automatic switching, I would recommend looking for a more expensive device. I seldom rate merchandise poorly, but this one really disappointed me.

The switch works as described; however, the technical details are not accurate. This item is listed as a category 2 with a rating of 10.2 Gbps. The clamshell packaging clearly states "High performance up to 2.5 Gbps."

I chose this model because my PS3 will get the best hookup at anything over 6.68 Gbps, and my current HDMI cable is rated high enough to give me the best quality image and sound. I was therefore quite disappointed to learn that this switch will not transmit as well as my cable alone.

Otherwise, the switch does a great job of transferring between my various components automatically. I just wish that it ran at the speed that was listed.

I use this to connect my DirecTV DVR, my Xbox 360, and my Windows 7 Media Center PC. The fact that it automatically changes to the input that is powered on is invaluable. This product does exactly what it says it does. I've used it every day since I bought it. I tell people about this all the time.

UPDATE 2010- This device is still working perfectly 2 years later. It's so good that I felt the need to update the review. I'm buying another one for the TV in my new "man cave." The autoswitching is EXACTLY what I need for my wife. She just turns on the DVD player and it switches the input automatically. No messing with remotes or manually changing the input on the TV. I can't tell you how perfect this thing is. I'm ordering another one now.

I didn't feel like paying $100.00 at Best Buy for similar devices that also required a power supply (no more wires, please!) so I did a little research and found this unit here on Amazon.

This gadget works beautifully without external power; it even does the switching for you, that is if you have only one output device powered up at a time. If more than one output device is powered, you must use the selector button to choose what gets displayed.

I use it on my Gateway XHD3000 monitor to switch between an XBOX 360 and a PS3, and regardless of which console I power up, it will automatically detect the output signal and display the active console.

Really nice!

Most definitely worth the money. - Highly Recommended - Hdmi Splitter - Automatic - Hdmi Switch'

Powerpoint - powerpoint, presentation remotes

This presenter is great for on-the-go presentations. It is easy to carry around and I love that the usb stick fits into the back of the remote. I am a teacher and it is perfect for me to use when I am presenting to my class 2-3 times a week. I would highly recommend it!!! Swissgear Wireless Mobile Laser Presenter

I have received the presenter only today evening. So, it may be immature to do the judgement on durability part. But, the presenter is working as per its promise from long distance. The forward and backward button also works for browsing PDF, Word document. Any Image slide show is also working fine with the presenter. I am happy with it.

I conduct safety training using MS Powerpoint (who doesn't?!), and had been looking for a decent remote with laser pointer that wasn't too pricey. Since I train in a factory, there's a very real chance that it could get torn up, and I needed to be able to replace it relatively cheaply. I saw some negative reviews, mainly about battery life, but figured I'd take a chance because of the price. Wow! Plugged it in, brought up my slideshow, and off we went! Easy to skip back and forth, which I need since I'm a bit ADHD and I like to bounce around. I also like the screen blank feature, for when I stand front & center and rant. The laser pointer was where I was surprised, since I'd seen some back-and-forth, but for me it works great! Strong light, dot isnt' blurry at all, and decent range (only needed ~10 feet). As to the batteries, I have to say this: TURN IT OFF WHEN YOU'RE NOT USING IT. Seriously, it's a laser pointer, so I don't know what kind of battery life people expect. I've used it a lot, and still no problems, I just have to remember to turn it off before I store it so buttons don't get pressed and run the batteries down.

So, if you need a laser pointer and controller for MS-PPT with more-than-basic functions and low price, I can't recommend this enough!

This is a convenient pocket presentation tool. It plugs in to any laptop I have used (indcluding those machines locked down by IT) and works without having admin rights. The button cells work for a shorter time than with AA or even AAA cells, but they are available at $ Tree, so not so bad. It feels a bit odd in the hand without the USB dongle, but you get used to it.

Pros:

Not too expensive

Laser built in, so only one thing to hold

On/Off switch, saves batteries

Has a B key for blanking/black on the screen

No mouse control, easy for novice presenters to use

Don't need admin rights to use (most are this way, but the real fancy ones are not.)

Cons:

Limited range from receiver (13 meters or so)

Shorter battery life

Has an escape key to get you out of the PPT presentation. This is a minus for me, because I often have the presentation computer some ways away, and I am not always the one using the device to run the presentation. Seminars with multiple speakers.

No mouse control. Annoying for experienced presenters.

This device worked well out of the box. Mine is used fairly often and spare batteries need to be kept on hand. In some locations it works quite well, in others not at all (not a computer issue, just space and range), and in others, it works sometimes or with multiple clicks. The battery cap won't stay on anymore, and the transmitter (that nests in the clicker unit next to the battery compartment when not in use) won't stay in anymore. The laser pointer is tough on the button batteries. For occasional use with the above caveats, good for the price. I got what I paid for.

I have had two of these now. The first one I had purchased after seeing it sitting on a shelf at a local store. Love the thing as it just plain worked and worked well. Never had any problem with it not doing what I wanted or skipping ahead. It just works and the size is really good. It is comfortable to use and the batteries lasted me many of presentations. I do a lot of sales and marketing presentations, sometimes 2-3 times a week.

Others who had borrowed it loved it as well. They would always ask how much I paid and they were shocked.

The only reason I had to get a second one was due to my lone complaint. The battery cover came off one day, who knows where, and due to the type of batteries it would not longer work. This is a flaw with the product as the battery cover can come off a bit too easy. One my second one I put a small strip of clear tape over the top edge of the cover. You can not see it there so it does not look bad, but the issue is taken care of.

For the price and how well it has worked, it is a minor inconvenience.

The batteries for this are as expensive as buying a new presenter. They do not last very long and the presenter has a habit of getting turn on when left in a bag. Presenter does not always change the slides right, especially if you are using presenter mode in power point. - Powerpoint - Laser Pointer - Presentation - Presentation Remotes'

Summer Workbook - activities, summer workbook

Engaging for the child. Mostly math and language activities of differnt types, styles, and complexities. Tasks get progressively harder toward the new school year. A good general purpose review and prep to keep skills fresh and build a few new ones before schools starts in August. Moderately well-illustrated. Encourages independent reading and offers a suggested reading list--though parents should review any of these books for appropriateness for their child. Books off this list that increase vocabulary and reading skill without frustrating your child are also very appropriate. The key is for the child to enjoy reading challenging materials--let your child choose what interests them as much as possible. Summer Bridge Activities: 3rd to 4th Grade

My daughter completed at least one full page Monday through Friday this past summer and tested the highest in her 4th grade class this fall in reading and in math. She has always been a strong reader, but lacking in confidence in her math skills. We'll continue to use this book during school vacations, and the next book this coming summer.

The Summer Bridge Activity series of books is an excellent way for kids to have fun and learn during the summer. I have used the book with three of my children at different grade levels. My children have continually entered the school year tops in their classes. I would recommend these books to any parents who are interested in their childs learning abilities. Great books.

Workbook is a fairly comprehensive coverage of basics of third grade. As with all supplementary material, parents/teachers may want to highlight specific subjects that students need help. I found the pace to be appropriate for summer days, and the writing exercises with prompts help even the most reluctant writers to try! I recommend this book to the parents of my incoming fourth grade students.

My soon-to-be 4th grader has been working through the book this summer, and we have found it to be very rewarding. The math and reading exercises are age-appropriate and he has enjoyed doing them. I also like the suggestions for other activities through the summer. Just remember to remove the answer pages before leaving your child alone with the book! Normally we worked through the book together but one day I left for a few minutes, and was surprised by a fast and perfect completion of the day's work!

I have used the Summer Bridges workbooks with my children for several years. The review is very nice for them, and working with them helps me to know where they need extra help.

I ask them to do one page of "morning work" from the book each day. They have ADD, so some days it takes all morning to get it done.

Unfortunately, my children hate doing the work. It is difficult to convince them that it is worth their trouble.

I'd love to hear ideas for making it a little more fun.

I have been using these workbooks in my preschool program during the summer for 5 years now and even my son's Catholic School are now highly recommending them to work out of over the summer. I will never to with any other work book than Summer Bridges and the price was very reasonable for the size of the workbook!

As a third grade teacher, I have found this series to be an excellent summer review program. It takes my own children about 15 minutes to do their pages each day, while providing critical review in reading, grammar, and math. I will recommend this book to all of my students' parents next year. Even the highest students can benefit from a short review during the summer. - Summer Workbook - Learning - Kids - Activities'

Delicious - delicious, zico

I have been trying all brands of coconut water. I agree that the Vita Coco is perhaps the sweetest tasting coconut water. I bought the Naked Coconut water right when it became available (at a good price; keep an eye out as prices for several brands of coconut water has been fluctuating on Amazon). Anyway, Naked water is not as sweet as Vita Coco, yet not as sour as Zico. Naked water was certainly good enough to order more.

I work outside in the Texas heat quite a bit. During this summer of 2010 (with temperatures above 100 degrees) I will work up a huge sweat, literally soaking my shirt. I found that drinking coconut water, of any brand, does wonders at refreshing me and giving me the energy I need to head back outside. Indeed, one memorable day I went inside to cool off; I was literally so tired that I thought I would not be able to go back out into that heat and finish my chores. However, after chugging down a container of cold coconut water and sitting for about ten minutes, I was amazed at how refreshed I felt. I was able to head back out and work up a new sweat. From that day on I have been a real fan of coconut water.

I doubt the hype about being 'good for diabetes' and other health-related claims (I am diabetic and have found no difference in my blood sugar levels). However, coconut water does wonders at rehydrating the body: much better than Gatorade. Even Zico (which has been much maligned lately) does me great after a hot session in the heat.

So, load up on coconut water. When you are overheated and thirsty, any brand will go down great. Keep an eye on the prices, since they seem to vary.

I have tried about 5 brands of coconut water, Amy and Bryans, ONE, Nature Factor, Zico, and VitaCoco. This one has the most subtle taste of all of them and looking at the nutritional listing on the box, seems to contain the least amount of sugar. For some, it might taste like water since the flavor does not seem to come out compared to the other brands.

Amy and Bryans and Nature Factor coconuts are way too sweet for my taste and I think they get their coconut water from Thailand. Vita Coco tastes a bit tart.

Zico used to be my favorite before they switch from all natural to concentrate and though I have not tried it, based on other people's reviews, it does not come close to any of these particular ones.

So in the end, ONE coconut will be the brand I will continue to buy and if Zico comes back into the market, I might pick them second. For my taste, the ONE brand tastes the best.

I would rate this at 3.5 star but since that is not available, I guess I will put it at 3. It just tastes too close to water.

Preface: Growing up in south India, I used to drink coconut water almost everyday.

I haven't tried ONE or Vita. I have tried Zico (natural flavor), and it was really disappointing. Everytime I took a sip, I kept turning the tetra-pak to look at the ingredients on the back. It did say 100% coconut water and nothing else. But I am not so sure, I have never tasted any coconut water that sweet, it was just awful. Hmmm.. may be not awful, but that's just not how coconut water tastes.

Compared to Zico, Naked is way better. It is definitely the real thing, though it lacks, just a little bit, in flavor. I would give it 4 stars, but seeing Zico rated higher than Naked, I am giving this a 5 star.

If you grew up drinking coconut water, definitely buy Naked over Zico. If you are new to coconut water, mild tasting Naked might be a let down. You might like the more sweeter Zico better.

Normally I'd like to see more options available with something I love like coconut water, but what really peeves me is how the quality keeps going down! The larger companies are now getting their hands into what is "hot" and they're pumping out low quality coconut water. The only thing that kept me from giving a 1 star is that the better alternatives can't seem to stay in stock. Jeeze!!!

I'm from Brazil, and when I'm home I usually drink coconut water straight from the coconut. When I moved to the states I really missed tating real good coconut water, until I tried this product. Trust me people, this is the real stuff. It's not as sweet as the othe rbrands, and real coconut water isn't supposed to be, but sour coconut water means that they took it from coconuts that aren't ripe yet. This is the best coconut water you can get in the states.

I will start by saying that I am NOT an avid drinker of coconut water. This was my first (and probably only) experience with the stuff. I like trying new, healthy items when they come out and coconut water had been on my list for a while. I decided to bite the bullet with this one since I am a fan of the Naked brand. While I'm sure that the beverage is healthy and good for you, and may even qualify to college kids as a hang over drink, I, on the other hand, think that its distinct taste (not coconut-y, but rather 'earthy') and don't enjoy it. I'd probably say that if you have ever had wheat grass drinks, you would like this. If you don't like wheat grass, you probably will no like this. (I'm not crazy about wheat grass, but I mix it into some drinks for the added health benefits). While they are made of different ingredients and don't taste exactly the same, I think that the taste TYPE is very similar. They will probably taste better in a nice, healthy fruit smoothie.

It's also important to point out that the expiration date of the beverages I received was 2.5 months after I ordered it. That may seem like a lot of time, but if it will take you a while to consume the drinks, you may want to keep that in mind. I ended up bringing them into work and left them in the kitchen for anyone who would want them since I knew I wouldn't finish the entire box before it expired. - Zico - Beverage - Delicious - Health - Coconut - Sports Drink'

I've long been a fan of boy shorts - they're sporty, sexy in a kind of 'tomboy' way, and they allow you to move without thangs ridin' up, etc. Well, imagine boy shorts knit from the softest, lightest, coziest, most gently-stretchy fabric that cuddles your hot cross buns in the most loving way, and you've got these lucsious low-rise stretch knit shorts pegged. I like to do yoga in them in the morning, when my apartment is chilly but my body is gonna get hot soon enough - they keep you cozy where you need it most, but leave you feeling sexy wrather than bulkily bundled. They're also great for lounging around the house without feeling like a couch potato - maybe more like a couch bon bon! Tres chic. And they go grrrreeeeat! with KD's thigh high leg warmers...Did somebody say, "Roller Rink?!"... New York Black Low Rise Shorts by KD dance, Sexy Stretch Knit Boy Shorts Great For Yoga, Dance, Gym, Pilates, Figure Skating To Pool Parties, Fashionable & Durable, Made In New York City USA Small

I bought this for my girl friend and must say it looks awesome on her. She comments on the softness of the materials and it looks well made from what I saw. Fit was nice and snug as expected.

She is a size medium and I purchased the medium as well. From the amount of stretch I saw, I guess even a size small could have fit her so their recommendation to get a smaller size for a sexy fit is good.

kd dance shorts are very comfortable and hold up very well..even with many washes so far..i was looking for a more form fitting short that was comfortable and of good quality, and these shorts definetley are.

I just loooooove my sexy, soft, comfy and well-made booty shorts. (I got one in cream and gray). I was actually looking for short shorts to wear under my KD Dance sexy stretch mini dress and these are just perfect! You can wear these under the sweater when you are wearing it as a short mini dress just to be on the safe side. (What I mean is, mainly to prevent wardrobe malfunction when you're bending over and stuff in your mini dress). ;P I thought these are cool because it doesn't look like underwear unlike other booty shorts. These are made with high-quality and durably knit soft sweater material. Sweater shorts are most often itchy, frumpy, bumpy, stuffy and clumpy. These pair of booty shorts are definitely NOT! It's the ultimate booty shorts for providing freedom of movement without compromising on style or comfort! These are so cute its a waste to be wearing them at the sweaty gym or lounging on the sofa. (-although its perfect for it!) You can wear them mainly for dancing, exercising or lounging. OR nonchalantly wear them out with a cute baby tee to pick up some milk at your grocery store and you're sure to see a lot of chicks jabbing their man in the ribs as you prance by. Thanks for the great product and keep up the GREAT work, KD Dance!!!

I am extremely happy with the speed in which the items were shipped. I am also extremely satisfied with the quality and the style of the items. I would DEFINATELY recommend this shipper to anyone looking for this type of product

I'm an avid buyer of boy-shorts, hotpants, and the like, and I really had high hopes for these, especially based off of other reviews. unfortunately, they look nothing like the photograph, and while the material is very soft, the shorts themselves are just... horrible. I now have an item of clothing that I wanted for so long which I will never, ever wear.'

Amazon Gift Card - gift idea, last minute gift

I purchased this gift card for a co-worker who had recently had surgery. She is an avid reader, and this was a fantastic gift. She was able to choose what she wanted and have it shipped directly to her. Being able to print the gift card out rather than have it emailed to her was also nice. It made the gift feel more personal, too. I'll definitely use this service again. It was immediate--I didn't have to wait for the card to be mailed--and it was personal. Loved it. I was happy, and (more importantly)my friend was happy. Amazon.com Gift Cards - Print at Home

I found the Gift Cards very easy to purchase. There was a selection of methods for sending. I chose the printable method which was simple to do with several choices of pictures and the cards looked very presentable.

These Amazon.com gift cards, the kind you print at home, are absolutely amazing. I was so surprised at how simple they were to print. No, really. If you have never printed something from your computer, then I can understand how difficult this task might seem, but once you do it a couple of times, you will feel like an old pro.

Anyway, back to these gift cards. At first, I thought there was something wrong with them because they kept printing upside down. I turned the paper around, I tilted my monitor on its side, I even tried to turn my printer upside down but the paper kept falling out. It seemed that no matter what I did, they kept coming out upside down.

I was so frustrated, I had to walked away from it for a few hours just to clear my head. Then, I figured it out! I printed one more and then moved to the other side of the printer and when it came out, I could read it. It was only upside down when you looked at it from the left side, but it was just fine when I looked at it from the right side! Who would have thought it was that easy? So, if you do print one, and it looks upside down, just go to the other side of the printer and you will be able to read it.

OK, here is a huge tip to help you get a real good card - always use fresh paper in your printer. Don't use paper that has already been printed on because it just doesn't look good. Not only does it not look good, it could be really embarrassing. I mean, what if you gave one of these gift cards to somebody and when they held it up to look at it, there on the back was a letter from your divorce lawyer?

Oh, and another thing about these cards and this one is really sad. You can only use these things once. I printed a bunch for my friends and they all got mad because they didn't work. Just keep that in mind.

Anyway, I gotta go. There's a big sale going on at Big Bubba's Dollar Palace. I like to go there because it's a real casual place; you don't have to get all dressed up like you do when you go to Wal-Mart.

Really, now. How else does one review a gift card that you print at home?

I bought the amazon gift card for a dear friends birthday. Her husband bought her a kindle and I wanted her to get some accessories or purchase some books. I was realy sick for the week prior to her birthday and buying the gift card on line was wonderful. I did not have to go to the store with my nose running and head pounding the whole time. I was able to print the gift card right at home on my own computer and pick a style my friend would like. What a great way to shop!

This was the first time I used this option. I absolutely love it. It was so easy to use and the Gift Card was actually in a printed Birthday card (my choice). I will be using this feature again in the future.

I like actually giving a gift, really, rather than a gift card, but a Kindle gift card is really practical, so I wanted to try it. I didn't want to just send an email, though, so I went through the process and printed the gift card at home. Easy! She loved it and so did I. - Gift Idea - Gift Card - Gift Certificate - Last Minute Gift'

Portable Dvd Player - dual dvd player, rca

My wife and I really shopped around for a DVD player for our car. We took a chance with this one because there was no reviews on it. I have to say that chance really paid off for us. Here is why we decided to go with this one:

1. Brand recognition. We could have went with a couple other names, but I have known RCA for being decent. Maybe not the best but good enough for me.

2. Remote controls. This is the number one reason why we went with this one. The first one we had didn't come with remotes and we found it to be a real pain if you have to skip sections, stop, play, and all other normal functions you would use with a DVD player. Because we don't want the kids to get out of their seats while driving this is really ideal and highly recomended. Our children are also too young to understand the controls. The different colors make it easy to determine which control works for what player.

3. Two independent players or able to view the same movie on both. The original one we purchased only had one player. With two kids you never know what they are going to watch. This solves the problem when they both want to watch different things. The other reason is for back-up purposes. I have read in many reviews that the dvd player breaks after a while...well with two, if one goes down during a long drive, your not at a complete loss because you can use the other.

The one con with this player is the fact that it doesn't remember where the DVD left off if your in the middle of a movie and you shut your car off. This may bother some people but the fact is on long drives your not going to stop every half hour...more like every two or three hours. The average movie is around two hours so it's unlikely this is going to be a major problem during those drives. Unless you plan to use the DVD player for every little drive, this really isn't that big of a deal.

Other than that this DVD player is perfect for what we intend to use it for. RCA DRC6272 Twin Mobile DVD Players - play two different DVDs!

I had no problem with setting up the RCA cables to each other. or mounting it to the back of the head rest. It was very easy to use. Best of all remotes are NOT interchangeable! The remotes are color coded to their prospective dvd player. So during a trip you will not hear .... Dad! He keeps messing up my movie. And as long as you have power to the players it will remember where the movie was last stopped. Cannot say enough how fantastic the picture and sound is. I'm so glad I got it for our 16hr round trip to Rhode Island. Never knew the kids where there. :).

I was in the market for something to entertain my small kids on drives, particularly during our long daily commute to work (where their daycare is located). This appeared to fit the bill. Indeed it did do the job, but it could be a lot better.

PROs:

- The system was very easy to set up. So long as you aren't worried about hiding cords, it only really takes minutes to get this up and working.

- The system is relatively easy to operate. You can have both screens showing the same movie, or each watching something different. Switching between the two settings is very easy.

- The picture and sound were adequate for our sedan.

- We never had a reliability problem.

CONs:

- Many people will be buying this for small children. If your kids are too little to be trusted with operating the unit themselves, the system doesn't work well. For one, as mentioned in other reviews, everytime you stop the car (even if you leave the key in the aux position) the movie completely restarts when you restart the car. This becomes a problem when the person in the front seat (not the kids in back) has to wade through the menu and get the movie back to where it was (supremely frustrating if you're dealing with a Disney movie... parents, you know what I'm talking about). Equally frustrating is that, while the system comes with remotes, you must be directly in line with the sensor to get them to work. In other words, only the kids in the back can really get the remote to work. In our case, that won't work because the kids are too little to figure out the remote buttons. Bottom line you end up reaching behind the headrest from the passenger seat and trying to hit buttons without being able to see them or what's on the screen. There is no tactile indicator on the buttons to let you know which is which by feel, so you really have to go off of experience. There is also no 'menu' button on the unit. It only exists on the remotes. The front seat occupants will NOT be able to get the remote to work while remaining seatbelted in the front... no matter how much yoga you practice.

- The unit's cord are hard to hide in order to give you a clean look. The way they plug in makes the unit easy to set up but also hard to make look clean. Also, my two year old son liked to kick the cords out of the monitor with his feet.

- The headrest strap is really just one long strip of velcro strap. It works but it doesn't make for an overly secure fit. Also if you have tapered headrests, you'll find it hard to get it to work great. We had to loop it around the metal headrest posts instead of the actual headrest.

- As I mentioned previously, the unit is easy to install. It isn't SO easy to install that you'll want to take it down and put it away every time you get out of the car. That would just be too much of a hassle. On the other hand, it is easy enough to get out of the car quickly to be enticing to a thief. That is exactly what happened to us. The first time we forgot to lock the car (after having this for about 1.5 years), it was gone in a heartbeat.

We are now looking for a replacement unit and will probably NOT get another RCA. We need a system that is easier to operate from the front seat. If your back seat passengers are old enough to operate this independantly and you don't make frequent stops, this unit should work for you just fine and is very cost effective.

If anyone knows of a similar dvd system that remembers where in the movie it left off when you turn off the car, please let me know via the comments here. - Rca - Dual Dvd Player - Car Dvd Player - Portable Dvd Player'

I love my Rotozip! I have owned it for more than 10 years and have used it on every remolding I have done since. My previous concern was sometimes how quickly I dulled and broke drywall bits and how slowly they cut. Not anymore! This is the bit to buy! I adore these boots! I've been coveting them for 6 months but wasn't willing to pay the $495 retail for them. When I found them here on Amazon for $220 I was super psyched. I actually tried them on at a store right before I bought them online to make sure I had the right size. Everyone had said to order up a size and they were absolutely right. I ordered a woman's size 8 (38) and I normally wear a 7. They fit perfectly. They are pretty comfortable too and easy to walk in (and I'm not a heel girl at all). The only down fall to them is that you will need to enlist someone to help you get out of them hahha. The leather is really stiff and there is no zipper so trying to take them off is quite the workout. So ladies, know that if you buy these boots you'll look & feel fab but have someone on standby when you're ready to take 'em off ;) swedish hasbeens Women's 479 Knee-High Boot,Black/Black,9 M US

I was very excited to order these, and I ordered the same size shoe I always wear. These were WAY too small! I measured them against my other shoes, and they were at least an inch shorter than all of my other shoes! Then I checked the box: the company is apparently using the wrong conversion chart! You might want to order a larger size than you usually wear - maybe even two! Also, the calf was MUCH larger than I anticipated! I ordered these in part because I have small calves and have a difficult time finding boots to fit them. When measuring, these should have fit with just a tiny bit of extra room, but they were huge. This seems like a great company, but I'm definitely never again ordering their products without trying their shoes on in person. My friend has ordered three pairs so far and only kept one - and those boots, she says, are also too small.

At first the boots were uncomfortable to walk in and I did want the boots to fit closer the the calf, but I decided to keep them. Very quickly they became comfortable to walk in and I get many compliments. It seems that not many people have these boots, so at least it's not like everyone has your style. I am happy with this purchase. I do wish they came in other colors though. They are difficult to take off,as the leather is very sturdy, but I hear that gets easier with time. They are made very well and seem like they will last the test of time.

My shoes size is a 9 1/2 after reading some reviews that warned future purchasers to go up 1/2 a size I ordered these in a 10. As soon as I put them on they hurt immediately- too short and too narrow. I exchanged for a size 11 and these are perfect! - Bc Footwear - Boots - Swedish Hasbeens - Clog'

Earbuds - earphones, jlab

These were my fourth pair of earbuds and the most impressive I've owned. The wiring and connections are solid and reinforced. I've replaced earbuds when the wiring breaks or the sound volume becomes unequal.

I'm hard on earbuds. My workday starts late in the morning and lasts until late in the evening. I need to still be asleep when the gardeners come with their leaf blowers and weed whackers. Earbuds serve a dual purpose: they keep sound out and give me pleasant sounds to sleep by. Being a bit of an insomniac, my MP3 player helps me to fall asleep each night as well. This is tough on earphones.

I'm impressed with the construction of these buds. Stress points are well reinforced and unlikely to fail. But ruggedness isn't the primary reason for buying phones ... sound quality is.

These are second to none when it comes to sound quality. Bass is solid with no distortion. The midrange and highs are crisp and clear. I've listened to everything from hip-hop to classical and they have provided a superior listening experience.

The worst feature of these phones is that they have a straight plug into the media player instead of an angled plug. This makes it easier to accidently unplug the phones. At worst, a minor drawback. Also, the barrel of the buds is a bid longer than others. At first I thought this would be a problem with lying on a pillow, but it hasn't disturbed me at all.

These utterly dominate all the other earbuds I've owned, both in terms of construction quality and in terms of sound. Buy a pair with confidence - you can't go wrong. JBuds J2 Premium Hi-FI Noise Isolating Earbuds (Pink Martini)

I bought some earphones not too long ago from Radio Shack. They were the kind you press into the ear. They were awful. The sound was bad and they wouldn't stay in the ear at all.

The jbud j2 are also a kind that you press into the ear (stay in pretty well you you give them a small twist when inserting instead of just pushing them in.) It made me a little nervous, but the price wasn't bad and the reviews were all good, so, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. Amazon got them to me in less than a week and packaged them well.

The sound quality is very good. Some of my classic piano concertos just come to life with these.

The dynamic range may be a little too good. I like to listen to music before I go to bed and I would use the Samsung earphones that came with my player, and by the way they are very good for being the included earphones. Since it's right before bedtime, I'll turn my player's volume down to 2 or 3 (out of 30). The J2s when turned down that low on volume, the higher frequencies I can't hear like I could with the "cheap" earphones. Perhaps it's my hearing. This really isn't a complaint because when I turn the volume up to say 10, It (J2s) sounds fantastic.

The construction seems pretty good, but only time will tell for sure.

The noise canceling part of the earphones also works very well, if that's what you like. The Samsung earphones you could hear other people talking just fine and still listen to the music. J2's you cannot. That can be good or bad depending on the situation.

I may get another set for my son.

They are good,

Bryce

So I've ordered the Jbuds J-2 in Lambo Yellow on the day before Thanksgiving, and I got them earlier this past week. I've also tried three other sets of noise-isolating earbuds, namely the Creative EP-630 In-Ear Headphones, the V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds - Bling Bling Black, and the JVC HAFX33A Marshmallow In-Ear Stereo Headphones (Blue). I'm trying to find a good set of noise-isolating earphones to use on a day-long bus trip I'm taking next month, and have tested them while studying in a laundromat (lots of noisy washers and dryers; my laundromat has study tables and wi-fi). Overall, I have liked the Jbuds J2 the best; here's my opinion on all four:

--The JVC Marshmallows had the worst sound quality of all four. They didn't sound very realistic, they were very tinny. I threw them out.

--The Creative earbuds produced very good sound quality, BUT the cord microphonics were too much (the cord was very rubbery, and you could hear it even with the slightest bump, so it was useless to walk with). I'm giving them away to someone else.

--The V-Moda earbuds also have very good sound quality, very little cord microphonics, and may very well have the best noise-isolation of all four; however, I felt they may have been a bit TOO bassy. This gives me somewhat of a headache when listening to something like Star People, so I don't use it for normal listening. But it may be the best option for the bus or laundromat.

--Overall, the Jbuds J2 have virtually no cord microphonics, and very good noise isolation (though slightly less than the V-Moda). Not too much bass, very balanced and the most realistic sound of all four that I've tried. They attenuate noise very well, but the V-Modas are very slightly better at that (which is why I'm giving these 4 stars instead of five).

So overall, if you like lots of bass, go with V-Moda; if you like the best balanced sound quality, go with these. But overall, I think that these are the best all-around. - Headphones - Earphones - Ipod Earbuds - Jlab'

Ac-dc Converter - micro inverter, automotive

I have not tried it with a draw near its max of 175W but at lower draws it is fine and always runs cool, thanks to the built in fan. That is also the only negative I have after a month with the unit -- fan noise. It is loud enough to be noticeable over normal road noise, although the car radio drowns it out at normal volume. I think I can put up with the fan because otherwise it seems a very good unit. Maybe they could hook the fan to a sensor and only have it run when the unit gets hot. The shape is good for my pickup's dash arrangement and being all-in-one it doesn't slide around or need securing. Overall, a good unit that has done the job. Xantrex Technologies 851-0178 XPower 175-Watt Micro Inverter

This little inverter is perfect because there are no bulky boxes or wires running all over the floor of the car. Perfect for my laptop and for my cell phone charger. It has it's own little fan built in that keeps it from overheating. So far so good!

I am a traveling sales guy , and I use this thing everyday, I purchased this one after I recieved 2 broken Wagon tech ones from amazon, This brand is BY FAR the most well put together, built very solid, and works well. I usually never write reviews, but I had to for this one.

I fly American Airlines coast to coast. Most American planes have DC outlets under the seats. I was able to plug the converter in the DC socket, plug my computer into the AC outlet and work and use the internet service without running out of battery power....Highly recommend for this application. Just make sure you purchase the correct wattage rating. I use a Dell laptop and the 175Watt rating worked well.

I bought this device trying to eliminate endless number of car chargers for cell phones, PDAs and DAPs used in a car.

What is good for this inverter

1. small size

2. a good fit in cig lighter that provides AC feed without interruption at bumpy ride

What is bad for it

1. relatively tall, so it can't fit in some cig lighter when not enough vertical clearance

2. noisy, because it has fan, so it can be a problem for listening music not so loud

3. no on/off switch so it needs be unplugged if a car doesn't support of automatic switch off of cig lighter

4. fan moving parts make me think that it can break

Overall it's a good device and I'm mostly satisfied with it.

The cooling fan was making noise on initial use. After a few hours of use the cooling fan stopped working causing the unit to overheat. It could have been an isolated occurance. I sent it in for exchange. Otherwise it's a nice design.

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing and thought that this looked like a pretty good deal. Worked great for the few times we traveled, but stopped working in November. I contacted Amazon and was told I would have to contact Xantrex for help since it was past their thirty day return policy. Fair enough. Started with my first contact with them on 11/11. Took until the 26th to get an answer after two more emails. Said they needed serial # and proof of purchase to start an RMA. I even tried the inverter again and had to pull it as smoke began to pour out of it. I supplied the required material on three different occasions (as well as telling them about the smoke) and finally let them know I would be contacting Amazon about their poor response. Still nothing. I suspect that they'll probably get around to answering around January 15th to tell me I'm too late, as the warranty expires on the 14th. I will not be buying from this company again, and would definitely not encourage anybody else to buy their products.

The product works as advertised. However, it occasionally emits a high pitched sound which I identified as a hardware issue with the mini fan which resides in the unit. Something is loose: either the case that holds the unit together or the mini fan inside. After I fumble around with the unit for a minute I get the sound to go away. But it's annoying to have to do this. I have only used the unit a few times so far. Perhaps the noise will go away entirely...or it might come back and never go away. So I remain concerned. When the unit isn't hissing at me, it's great. - Automotive - Inverter - Ac-dc Converter - Micro Inverter'

16gb Sdhc Memory Card

This micro SDHC card is the best in the US market. Samsung has developed a 32GB one but it is only available in Asia at the time of this writing. With that said, this is a good card. I bought it for my Blackberry Curve 8300. If you are going to use it for a Blackberry, make sure that you have the Blackberry OS 4.5 or later as it will not read the whole 16GB if you do not.

Even though this is a Class 2 card (the 16GB Class 4's, like the 32GB cards, are only available in Asia right now), it reads and writes fairly quickly. The card is fast enough to record and play videos on my Curve, and saving a couple minute video after shooting it literally takes seconds to write.

I have two minor gripes about this card, and they aren't that bad. One is the price. You can get an 8GB card for less than half of the price of this one. However, it is still "new" so that's the penalty for being an early adopter.

The other gripe I have is that with the Samsung reader (see the bundle Amazon sells with this card) will NOT format this card in anything other than FAT32. Now the Curve can't understand NTFS, so for me it's not a big deal, but for someone who may want to use this as take away storage, just be aware of that.

Other than that, I think this card is great. Also please note this card DOES come with an SD adapter. Don't let the Bulk Packaging fool you. If you have an SD card reader, you will not have to go out and buy a separate card reader for this. Save yourself the 5 bucks if you can. I hope this review was helpful. SanDisk 16 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDQ-016G (Bulk Packaging)

The card arrived when they said it would. Took it out of the box and stuck it in my MP3 player, the Sansa Fuze (2GB model) and it recognized it immediately and I was able to start putting music on it (didn't need to format it). I put about 10GB of music on it which took roughly 2 hrs to load. After the initial upload of all my music. Adding a new album only took a couple of minutes. After I disconnect the Fuze from the computer it took approx 8-10 minutes to refresh the media library. I have the latest firmware update for the Fuze (maybe older firmware versions are slower - I don't know). The upload speeds didn't bother me because I'm only loading my whole library once and then its only a song/album or two at a time and that's only a few minutes. The card came with a SD adapter - so if you have a SD reader your set. I now have a 18GB MP3 Player!

I bought this card in February 2009 and it eventually failed by May 2009. I have of course only anecdotal evidence, but if you search around the Sandisk support forums and other places, you will find a lot of very upset customers complaining of the high failure rate of these Sandisk 16GB SDHC cards after a 2-3 months of use. To compound the problem, Sandisk only offers a 30 day return or refund period warranty on their flash memory cards which is atrocious in my opinion!! Unfortunately, most resellers here on Amazon only have a 30 day return policy as well assuming you have the product still in the original packaging. So overall, you are screwed if and WHEN the card does eventually fail. Thus, I recommend you not rely on this card to store important data like pictures and such. I unfortunately found this out the hard way. It just seems that this card is just not as reliable as advertised, and I am quite disappointed in the lack of at minimum one year manufacture's warranty for these cards by Sandisk. Buyer beware!!

I bought this six months ago (in January 2009) because it was the only 16GB micro SDHC card available. I needed it to dump as much of my music as I could onto my BlackBerry Bold. It has worked fine for the most part. However, if I were buying such a card today, I would search out at least a class 4 card and probably a class 6, both of which are now available here on Amazon (A-DATA MicroSDHC 16GB Class 6 Turbo With SD Adapter 16GUSDHC6 (Black); Sandisk 16GB Ultra microSDHC CLASS 4 / MobileMate micro Reader (SDSDQY-016G-S11M, Retail Package)).

To the extent that it is a problem, my BlackBerry scans this class 2 card when I do a restart -- and is sluggish during that time -- so because I have almost the entire card filled up, it can take the BB a good five minutes to scan the card because a class 2 card has a slower read speed. That's a good five minutes of unwanted sluggishness after a restart. A faster class 4 or 6 card would reduce that time considerably.

I bought this memory for my HTC Touch Pro. I wanted to sync my music with windows media center and backup another USB flash drive. This card should only be used for occasional file transfers. The class 2 card is painfully slow to sync anything. I would have gladly spend more money for a faster Class 6 microSDHC card if I was paying attention at the time of purchase.

Bought this to upgrade my EVO 4G Android smartphone and have no complaints, works perfectly. Good value for the money (and now they're even cheaper!). Note when I bought mine it was delivered directly from Amazon (which I wanted as there are counterfeit cards out there).'
