Cooking Mama - video games, cooking
This is a very cute game for the DS. A good one if you've just purchased a DS and want a game that really shows you what a stylus can do. ;) Some recipes are kinda easy, while others proove more challenging. I'm still working on peeling potatoes fast enough. The graphics are very amuzing. I laughed out loud as I spilled water all over the place while trying to drain some pasta. The meals are japanese based...and make you want to go out and make your own gyoza! This is very fun for an adult who likes DS mini games, and it doesn't seem too 'kiddish' as I had feared. I'm so glad this unique japanese game made it to the states. Two thumbs up for Cooking Mama! Cooking Mama
I won't say that Cooking Mama is the best game I've played in recent months. Surely, there's something more important than cooking - like, killing zombies on the X360, for example. However, it's certainly the most innovative, especially when you consider how much you can do on the limited dimensions of a Nintendo DS touch screen.
In Cooking Mama, you're an apprentice in the fine art of cuisine management. Your master, a certain Mama, will put you through a series of saliva-inducing recipes, and will grill you through the preparation of each as if it's the only thing you live for. You can choose to practise before hand, but when you go into the actual process of making a particular food, you'll find that there's no room for error. A wrong move, and Mama will not hesitate to show you her wrath.
Making a food involves several steps. Some are short, while some may take forever. For example, when preparing a pan-fried fish, you'll have to go through the coating of the fish slices, the melting of the butter, the actual pan-frying and the arranging of the plate. Each process in turn involves different ways of doing things. Coating the fish slices, for example, requires you to drag your stylus in a left-right manner while touching the fish. Melting the butter requires you to rapidly drag the butter in a circular motion when it's on a hot plate. Pan-frying involves a "following the command on-screen" mini-game that requires you to perform whatever Mama tells you to, and so on.
The impressive thing here is that, even though you're just stroking your stylus throughout the game's 70+ recipes, you're essentially doing different things. It's a bit like Trauma Centre from last year, but instead of seeing body parts, you're looking at food. If you're more adventurous, you can even combine recipes to form new ones, which adds depth to the gameplay.
For a game as quirky as this, it's understandable that it uses quirky graphics. The presentation of Cooking Mama is light-hearted, and makes the hectic process of cooking (to me, at least) much more enjoyable. The music is a little weak, even though it does have some nice variety. But seriously, graphics and audios are not what you'd buy this game for. I mean, who cares about these things when you've Fried Octopus Balls to make?
For its sheer audacity in bringing the kitchen onto the DS, I'd recommend Cooking Mama to every owner of the DS. Don't expect to see your DS in a few weeks, however, if you bought this game, and have a missus in the house. Now, if only my wife can learn a few tips out of this.
I got this for my girl along with one of the new pink DS Lite and she is loving both the machine and the game. I think anybody that enjoys cooking will probably enjoy this game.
It is basically simple stylus controlled fun little minigames (200+) through which you make 76 real world food items.
It has a great progression so it is easy to learn even if you don't know cooking or don't know how to play games. For example first you learn to make boiled rice which is as simple as adding the right about of water to the pot with a simple minigame... and then if you do that successfully then next you can try making fried rice.
I really like the low price of the game. It should appeal to anybody that enjoys Warioware, Feel the Magic, etc type games.
Having recently purchased a DS lite for my seven year old we let him choose his games. Being like most boys he picked a Mario title and a Sonic title. I jokingly commented to my husband I wanted to try Cooking Mama. The game is mine! Or so I thought when he brought it home for me a few days later.
I started playing right away and was quite amused by the cute little graphics, annoyingly catchy music and Mama's firey eyes when I messed up on my Fried Octopus Balls. The mini-game style and chances to practice each technique before making them kept me entertained to the point of taking the DS with me so I could play at random places outside my home. Until of course I laid it down one night (my thumbs were sore from hours of perfecting my Miso Soup) and my husband picked it up. Hearing him curse at the cheery little Mama and his over-cooked chicken was more amusing than watching him throwing his console controllers. Next my son got his hands on the game, it is HIS DS afterall. Soon it was his favorite, Mario and Sonic long forgotten.
I never thought this game would become a family favorite. I expected it to wind up lost somewhere in the stacks of other games. Instead everyone in our family takes turns preparing all these odd Japanese dishes and earning new ones. While very repetative and at times frustrating we've all really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a family friendly game for all ages I would reccomend this game a thousand times over.
Cooking Mama is esentially a series of cooking mini-games strung together to form 'recipes' for dishes. It's an enjoyable game but it lacks enough depth to be truely replayable. When enjoyed casually I think this game could last a while, but aside from these dishes there is little else to do. I found myself wanting to unlock more than recipes, to find new ways of using my cooking practice. One way this game could have easily been made a classic would have been to add some competitive play to it. How about Iron Chef matches or Wi-Fi tournaments? But there's not much to this game once the novelty wears off, which for me was about 6 hours later. I've come back to it casually but not for more than a few minutes here and there. It is, however, well worth the $20 price tag. - Cooking - Nintendo Ds Games - Cooking Mama - Video Games'

Corded Rotary Tools
I haven't used this on any projects yet, but it does seem promising. It has a rigid feel to it and the price is ideal. I haven't used a Dremel brand rotary tool so I can't really compare.
The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the collet nut is pretty hard to loosen once it's tightened. However, I found that putting the wrench against one of the fan blades made it easier to loosen. Probably not a good thing to do, but it does work.
Update 10/14/2008: I have used this on several projects now and it has held up very well. Cuts, grinds, and sands plastic and metal with no problems. The cut-off wheels included are not that great, but you can always get reinforced replacements. Also, make sure to let off on the material you are cutting, grinding, or sanding from time to time so that the cut-off wheels or sanding bands can cool off. Otherwise, the cut-off wheels are more prone to shatter or burn the material when it gets too hot from the friction. If you think you need a rotary tool to get a job done, this will do it and then some. In my initial review I stated that I had problems with the collet nut, but after using it I found it was my own fault. I did not have the locking safety mechanism engaged all the way so I had problems getting the collet nut off. Just make sure the safety is engaged all the way and tap the collet when it is loosened to get the attachment off and you will be golden. I am happy that I bought this for about half as much of a Dremel brand rotary tool. If I could change my rating, I would now give it 5 stars.
Amazon doesn't include a list of the accessories, but it's not their fault. It doesn't even say on the box itself. For those wondering what this comes with:
Rotary Tool - 1
Carrying Case - 1
Woodworking Clamps - 2
Wrench/Flathead Screwdriver - 1
1/8" Standard Mandrel - 1
Sanding Drum Mandrel - 1
Rubber Polishing Wheel (Coarse) (Brown) - 1
Aluminum Oxide Stone Bullet (Brick) (For Grinding) - 1
Diamond Point (For Engraving) - 1
Heavy Duty Cut-Off Discs - 20
Sanding Band (Coarse) - 3
Sanding Band (Fine) - 2 Black & Decker RTX-6 2 Amp 3-Speed Rotary Tool with 30 Accessories and 2 Spring Clamps
First off, I had a hard time getting this question answered when I was looking at rotary tools, so I'll say it right now: ALL DREMEL ACCESSORIES ARE USABLE BY THIS ROTARY TOOL. To someone who's used a rotary tool before I'm sure this is a logical statement, but to someone new to the devices (as I was), it can be confusing. I thought there might be some notch or something in Dremel accessories that made them only usable by Dremel rotary tools, but there isn't. They're all the same.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I just got my RTX a couple of weeks ago, and thus far I'm very impressed by it. It looks and feels substantial and sturdy, and fits very nicely in your hand as you work with it. Though I'd have preferred to see fully adjustable speed settings on this tool, the three speed settings seem to allow more than enough versatility in power to handle any project you throw at it. Mine came with a nice, simple case that's about the same size as a 2 cd tall cd book, which I greatly prefer to the extremely large plastic case that most Dremel tools come in.
My only complaints from this unit are that it doesn't come with a very impressive array of bits/accessories (I bought a 150 piece Dremel accessory kit to supplement it), and I've had some difficulty with the locking mechanism that allows for you to switch accessories getting stuck. It's always loosened up after a little persistent encouragement, but it's still a decent sized annoyance when it happens.
I've used a 300 series Dremel regularly in the past, so I feel that I can safely say that from what I have seen from this tool thus far, the Black and Decker RTX is just as capable a tool as the Dremel, perhaps more so (when you take into account the RTX's superior power). That said, it should probably be noted that the RTX hasn't been around for nearly as long as the Dremel brand, so it's durability over time has yet to be tested.
I've got to wonder why someone would pay 2 or 3 times the price of the RTX to get a Dremel... I suppose name recognition has a lot to do with it, after all people do refer to these things as "Dremel tools" not "Black and Decker tools", but that doesn't seem like a very wise way to make purchases. Puffs facial tissue works just as well as Kleenex, generic cotton swabs work just as well as Q-tips, and the RTX works just as well as a Dremel tool, so why pay the premium price?
If you're looking for the most bang for your rotary tool buck, this is the one you want to go with, hands down.
Bought one as the Dremel was selling for more $$ and I only needed a rotary tool for a very small home project. Having used a dremel brand before, I was cautious about not overheating the unit by having it bog down on tasks. Well that wasn't a problem with the RTX. Didn't realize that it had more motor juice than Dremel until using it. Lots more torque makes it easier to control. Good value.
Edit: Recently purchased the little jigsaw attachment sold by Dremel. I was told this unit really taxes the power out of a dremel unit due to its gearing system and application (i.e. dremel never designed for this type of task). Well the unit fit perfectly on the B&D and the power really shines with this attachement -- I can slice through wood like butter without any bogging down of the unit. Incredible.
I own a professional model shop, and although we occasionally use a Foredom (this is a motor with a cabled handpiece--very powerful, and with a foot pedal speed control, quite easy to use, except for the darn cable) we mainly use Dremel "rotary tools." I've gotten used to them lasting less than a year. They are not in constant use--a week may go by when none are used, but we have several because all of a sudden three people may need to drill tiny holes, or use small burrs, or?
One of my employees came in with this B&D and I was impressed. I ordered one for our shop, and now there are three. It's been less than 6 months, so I'm not sure about longevity, but the oldest still seems solid. There is no external brush replacement like there is on the better Dremels, but I don't know if this is an issue, as generally, the Dremels were dying before the brushes were worn down to replacement status. One of the problems with the Dremel design is the location of the cooling vents--it's hard to hold the Dremel comfortably and not block many of the vents, so the tool overheats.
The B&D is better in this regard, though still not perfect. Balance is good, certainly on par with the top Dremels. Power seems similar. The speed control may be a bit less specific (although there are intermediate settings between the three marked speeds, so this is actually better than expected. Quieter than the Dremels, seems to run a bit smoother. I like the lever lock for the collet change quite a bit too.
Overall, I am very please with these roto tools. Especally at about half the Dremel cost, they are a definite best buy.'

Subaqua Noma Iii - invicta, subaqua noma iii
If you are looking for a watch that has cool looks and gets attention, this is it. What I especially like about this big timepiece is always being able to see the hands in little or no light with the blue dial. Make sure you wear for a few days to break-in the band and acclimate to the weight before considering a return. A nice addition to any collection. Invicta Men's F0003 Reserve Collection Venom Chronograph Gunmetal Ion-Plated Watch
I have been collecting watches for almost a year now and have been drooling over the Venom since I began. I bought this one and apon receiving it and wearing it for a day ordered the silver verson as well. The price is outstanding here on amazon and invicta is a great watch company. The black watch with the blue face is an awesome combination.
Be warned this is a huge watch and not for the faint of heart. I have an 8-1/2" wrist and it fits well. I don't know if the rubber strap will be comfortable on a larger wrist or not. I ordered the black Venom ss bracelet from Invicta for $112.00 including shipping. So for $496.00 I have the venom with the rubber and ss bracelets. The bracelet will be more comfortable and suite the bigger wrists.
So if you are looking for a big, beefy, monter of a watch this is it. Buy it and you'll see.
A friend of mine has the silver reserve venom and, upon seeing and holding his watch i was amazed at the size, weight, and attention to detail of the watch,i knew i had to have one.I did some looking around on various sites and i decided on the gunmetal Ion-Plated (black),this is a Big watch. The blue face is beautiful, the functions are precise, accurate, and this watch looks good on my arm and is Heavy, and it gets plenty of attention from the guys and gals alike.this is a real man's watch.
This is a beautiful, BIG watch. I was impressed by the little details: every screw is in perfect alignment, the dial turns easily with satisfying clicks, the chronograph buttons screw down to prevent accidental pushing. People are amazed how heavy the watch is when I let them hold it. This is a quality timepiece that should provide me years of service.
A couple of things to note. This watch sits 22mm high. That means if you wear it under a long-sleeve shirt with cuffs, it will make the cuff tight or get caught when it comes out below the cuff. The other thing is if you don't like your watch to move around on your wrist you will need to wear it tight. It's heavy enough to move around with normal arm movements if it's the worn loose at all. Neither of these things bother me and I love this watch.
What a magnificent machine - that just happens to tell time. This watch commands attention and is worth every glance, comment, and compliment that is given it. The most significant piece in my collection. Invicta makes the most eye appealing, detailed, and extremely well crafted watches I've ever seen. You can not go wrong with any version of this timepiece.
CDM - Phoenix, Az.
The Invicta F0003 is both an engineering success and an extremely functional time piece.
It is both comfortable and an attractive eye catcher to say the least. People are always
facinated by its appearance and interested in learning more about the watch. It is both
functional above and below the water and is manufactured to last a lifetime of service.
Invicta has hit another "home run" with the Venom collection.
Neverlate
I had read other reviews and expected a large watch, once it arrived however I was blown away, this is a brute of a watch, it is big and bold and by the way weighs 1/2lb, I decided on the rubber band for better comfort and even wearing it now for three weeks I am still reminded of the weight from time to time.
If you are looking for a large watch I strongly recommend this watch, I had one occasion where I had to reset the main chronograph hand back to zero, if you follow the instructions, it is real easy to do.
The quality and finish is excellent, and the blue face compliments the whole look, the rotating bezel is big and easy to turn and turns with a solid click, the illuminous dials show up really well in the dark, and you will most certainly be noticed with this watch hanging on your wrist. As a result of this purchase I will certainly be buying another Reserve,to add to my collection,
I have been collecting Invicta watches for a few years and finally decided to buy a Venom. I knew buying a priceless Invicta watch through amazon.com would be hassle free and what an amazing watch! Please read all reviews before judging Invictawatch.com and/or amazon.com. I ordered online Friday and am wearing it today, 4 days shipping time, excellent services! Heavy, immaculate, attention getter and worth every cent!
I ordered this model although it is not "SWISS MADE" model of Invicta Venom. It Is only "SWISS". That means it made somewhere in far east using swiss movement (different to ordinary Invicta Venom models). It is clearly visible coz chronograph small dials are differently positioned. But that is the only difference of this amazon model. The rest remains the same. Craftmanship is exactly same I think. I can see no difference among this model and swiss made Venoms 5730 and 5729 I have here on my table right now. And I have to admit that amazon model is the most beautifull of all of them. So... If somebody likes this kind of watch do not worry to order this model. I m satisfied......
honestly i wasnt expecting to get what i saw in the thumbnail. Usually i get some pispoor version of what i pay for, but i was so pleasantly surprised. I Admitt i wouldve paid full price for the watch had I seen it in person before purchasing. This is a steal!! - Subaqua Noma Iii - Invicta - Watches - Subaqua'

Sweat - sauna the pounds off, sweat
I bought this sauna suit a couple of weeks ago! As soon as I put it right on I felt the heat already working, then after just 5 minutes on the tread mill I was already sweating my butt off...and then after just a 15 minute work out, I took my suit off and it was as if i just came out of a swimming pool, dripping wet....I felt really good knowing that in just a few minutes of a work out, it felt as if I worked out for an hour! I recommend if you wanna lose inches fast, in just two weeks i lost 5 inches off my waist, 4 inches off my thighs, and 2 inches off my arms and 3 incehes off my back & chest..... Bally Sauna Suit
As soon as I opened the box and pulled the suit out this is the warning I saw: "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and/or other reproductive harm." Is using this suit even worth the risks? Not to me. The main reason for me wanting to exercise is for the health benefits. The side effects of this product defeat that purpose. I will definitely be returning it. Bally, please come up with a safer product for your consumers to use.
I think the color is nice, however, it's not true to size. It states X-Large, but closer to Small-Med. Price is a little much for the quality. I assumed if the price was a bit higher quality would be too. One thing for sure if you're looking for a good sweat any of them will do the job. Keep in mind they don't last long...
I received my sauna suit on 10-5-10, I've tried it out 5 times since then. I do admit I work up a very good sweat while doing my elliptical exercise routine. However, I do have a complaint, I ended up paying 67.94 for the suit, I see now it's marked under 25.00. But, my big complaint is I wanted a quality suit so I thought I would get a little pricier one thinking the durability would be there. I wish I could attach the photo I took of the underarms on my suit. They are tearing away on both sides. I'm very disappointed in this. If I could send it back for a refund I would. - Sweat - Sauna The Pounds Off'

UPDATE 4-5-2011.
I Called Smittybilt customer Service (Also procomp) and turns out when amazon.com shipped my unit it's possible the carrier dropped the box a certain way. My clutch lever was loose and this is NOT normal. They are sending me a replacement unit and gear cover to fix the issue for free. So if you purchase this - make sure the lever is tight when shifted from freespool to engaged as mine was pretty loose and could move with a pinky. B/c of the good customer service - i've changed to 5 stars
END UPDATE
I just installed this on my cherokee XJ so this review will be specific to that installation. I have an ARB Bull Bar on a 2001 XJ. I attached a picture to the amazon for review.
Packaging:
This product comes shipped in a box. the styrofoam must be cheap b/c some of it melted on the controller cable. There appears to be no dents or dings and things came well. The synthetic cable doesn't come on the drum and is in it's own plastic bag. It does come with a pull line for the winch itself which is not pictured but is pictured in what i've posted. It does come with all the hardware needed which is nice.
Clocking:
I had to clock the transmission on my winch so that the handle would point downwards. I had to mount my winch with the bottom facing the the front of the car (you can see the bolt holes). I also had to clock the motor side of it so the battery connections are easily accesible. There are instructions on how to do both the clocking in the winch kit.
Installation: This unit weighs about 60 pounds and I was able to mount the winch with the bumper in place. I had about 3/4" of room to spare. I had a helper thread the screws in for me. For the fairlead I had to drill two holes. then i had to spacer the bottom mounts of the winch out with washers to get the nut to fit behind it. The battery cable provided is long enough. If i had to do it again i would consider move the solenoid to be underneath my hood. then run the longer cables to the motor itself. At current the solenoid sits on my radiator support. I took the solenoid out of the plastic container. The solenoid box is WAY too big, it should be made much smaller in my opinion.
So far I've only used this on a test pull. I pulled my jeep towards another rig as an anchor. I did it once as a double line and again as a single line. It's decently fast for it's cost. The synthetic line was what sold me on this in addition to the $50 rebate that is being offered. The line itself is extremely light so that would help a lot since this is bolted on the very front end of my rig.
Issues:
I've found that the clutch handle does not stay engaged. When a load is relieved, it goes into a middle area between free and engaged. You need to apply some force to the handle to stay engaged. I've rigged something up for now that hold it. Will call their customer service and will go from there. My other complaint is a smaller and a truely waterproof solenoid case. These issues are what stop me from giving it 5 stars. Smittybilt 98281 XRC 8 Comp Series Black Winch with Synthetic Rope and Aluminum Fairlead
This winch is a very nice package it looks great. The rope is worth the extra coin just for easy use and quality of rope and safety.Winch functions easy has a good line speed for the cost of the winch. They remote works fine but could use a little rubber on shell just in case you wear to drop it a lot.I plan on mounting mine on the inside of my buggy so this will not be a issue for me.I also like that when you hook the remote to the winch you have to turn it clock wise to lock it which is a great thing for the hard rock crawling or trail rides cause it is less app to vibrate loose.Great over buy like it way better than my last winch the warn 8k with a different rope.
I've only used this winch a couple of times, but I love it. Thanks to the 100' of rope, I was able to self recover my truck while off-road by attaching to a tree that was around 75' away. Also used it to pull 8'-10' lengths of firewood out of the woods.
It has a nice line speed.
decent working winch for a good price, it is great with the synthetic line, my line is grey, not the blue that is pictured. Pretty slow line speed but it does the job. I used it twice already and it worked great.
The installation was easy and only took a couple hours to mount the xrc8 winch to an xrc front bumper. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I look forward to the day. I was expecting the synthetic rope to be blue like the picture and the hook to be red but all in all its a beautiful setup and I'm pleased with my decision to go with Smittybilt.
Got this winch on a friday. Went out to go off roading that night, and took that winch with me that friday night.
Saturday morning after waking up, and picking up camp. We hit the trail, and got stuck not too long after starting. I installed the winch out on the trail, and did it fairly quick. Shortly after the installation, I used the winch to pull me out of a rut. It worked flawlessly.
I was surprised at how reliable the wench was, and how strong it pulled. Would not hesitate to purchase this winch again.
Went wheeling at Uwharrie Natl forest in NC a month or two ago. ended up having to get winched up a pretty steep rocky incline about 150-200 yards total. winch performed flawlessly. seeing as how i already had an ARB winch bullbar on my 2000 4runner, i decided to get the Smittybilt XRC 8 w/ synthetic line. first of all, the line saves a total of around 30lbs to the front of your vehicle. For those who have modified/upgraded rigs like mine, you know that every little bitt of extra weight makes a difference. Also, the synthetic line is MUCH safer than the wire rope (smittybilt has a rope core wire rope -VERY DANGEROUS I.M.O.). used the winch seriously for the first time last night when i sunk to the chassis. free spooled, hooked up to my tree protecter strap that was wrapped around the tree ahead, commenced winching. PERFORMED AS EXPECTED. NO ISSUES. VERY PLEASED. I would def recommend this product to anyone who is on a budget and needs some solo-security off the pavement. every other upgrade in the world is great until you cant get unstuck by yourself.'

Garmin Nuvi 200w Carryng Case - garmin, garmin nuvi 200
The Garmin leather carrying case is a decent travel compainion and a perfect fit for the Nuvi 370, 360, 350, 310, 300 and also the new 270, 250, and 200.
After purchasing the new Garmin Nuvi 200, and quickly realizing it didn't come with a carrying case, I purchased this product. The quality black leather make this both appealing to the eye and durable however this is a slide-type case, so it is constantly open on one end. A nice feature would have been some type of zipper or velcro closure so the Garmin GPS unit could be fully enveloped within the case. It has a snug fit so I haven't had any problems with it slipping out yet but I do find myself constantly checking to make sure my Nuvi 200 is properly placed inside the case.
I would have preferred a little more padding with it too. The case is made up of thin leather on all sides with very little padding to protect against accidental drops. It would have been nice to have some more cushion for those clusmy moments we've all expercienced.
This case seems to be designed more for protection against scratches and to shield the LCD screen against accidental scrapes.
Still, I give this carrying case three stars because of it's price, duarability, and sleek leather appearance. Garmin 3.5-Inch Carrying Case
This case is very nice leather, with a firm (probably plastic) insert that protects the scrren. We had one shattered screen, so this seems like just what the Dr. Ordered. The fit is snug which is great, so the unit won't slip out even if you hold it from different angles.
The Nuvi 350 (and possibly the other Nuvis) comes with a leather case, so you don't need to order it separately.
The 350 also comes with both car & AC chargers and dash & windshield mounts.
All these accessories that come with the Nuvi have worked fine. The leather seems to be of good quality, and the Nuvi slips into it easily.
Very well made leather case which fit my Nuvi 270 perfectly. I used this extensively during a recent trip and the case helped protect the Nuvi against scratches, dings, dents, and weather (though not waterproof). A very good way to protect your Nuvi investment. Does exactly what it advertises to do.
This product has very nice touch and eye appeal. It's slightly different from and better quality than (it appears to be) in the image on the page at Amazon.
If you decide to buy it, be aware that it is a cushioned sleeve into which the nuvi slides, not really a full, closed case. It is fairly snug, but I do not know how well it would protect the unit if dropped, particularly on the open side.
I like it though, and it's fine to protect the screen when I store it in the glove compartment or center console, or in a coat pocket.
Strictly from a functional standpoint though, you can get one of those little Velcro cases they make for digital cameras, for about a third the price. But this case makes you feel nice. So there IS that.
Added 12/23/08 - I see that the image of the sleeve has been updated. It does look like this image, and I'm still happy with mine.
To be accurate this is not a review of the case itself but a red flag to all you Garmin widescreen GPS owners. Both Amazon and ANTonline recommend this case for the 4.3 widescreen unit when it's at east 3/4" to short to protect the screen. I informed both Amazon and ANTOnline and they still have not corrected the recommendation. So people are buying it
with the wrong impression. I tried to have ANTOnline either accept it back as a return or an exchange for the correct case (see Garmin website for the correct case)but they ignored all my requests until they finally emailed me to tell me they contacted Garmin who will work with me to correct the matter. Regardless of why Garmin should be responsible for their mistake, I called Garmin and asked them if ANTOnline had contacted them.
They claimed they never heard from them but were willing to send me the correct case for free. So within a week's time I received my new case from Garmin. Three cheers for Garmin! Three boos for Amazon and ANTOnline.
I bought this case for my Nuvi 650 to protect the screen. While my unit technically does "fit" in the case, only about two-thirds of the screen is covered. The rest just sticks out of the top of the rather small case.
If you want to protect the screen I suggest a larger case.
I am happy with the Nuvi carrying case - as everyone and their grandmother have mentioned it is too short for the "W" Nuvi's but mine is a regular 260 and this case is the perfect size and at a great price. I like the look of it as well, it's not a flashy, "look at me" type of case and seems sturdy. - Nuvi Case - Garmin - Garmin Nuvi 200 - Garmin Nuvi'

Relax With Good Vibrations
I had my first Wahl "massager" for almost 15 years before the cord frayed. It is such a great and reliable product and the two-speed function allows you to control the intensity. I also appreciate the various attachments which allow you to pinpoint just the area you want to work on. May I risk saying I find this a multi-purpose massager and have found many marvelous uses. For the money, you can't get anything better. Wahl 4120-200 All-Body Massage Powerful Therapeutic Massager in Pharmacy Box
I had read some of the reviews on this massager so I said well let me try it. I really didn't expect all that much. I haven't used it on my shoulders or any other common spots because I bought it to try sexually. All I can say is OMG. Whatever motor or equipment they put in this massager, I am grateful for my purchase. I will definitely be buying the Gspot attachment. Oh and the fact that I can just plug it in the wall makes it even better. Never have to worry about batteries. It's my fav in my toy chest now.
I must say I was very skeptical when I received this massager as a gift. It looked a little clunky and is pretty heavy. However, once I turned it on and gave it a try I was pleasantly suprised.
It has a really nice vibration speed and motion that is a little different compared to most massagers. Also, the rythm really is relaxing for the whole body, not just the area you have the massager directly on.
I would recommend this product but wish they made it a little lighter. The wieght of it is a little cumbersome and could be a little too much for smaller individuals.
I received this massager as a gift and I LOVE it! I use it for sexual purposes but it seems to be great for body massaging also. The 7 attachments it comes with are great to play with and try out. The cord is 9 feet long which is a good thing in my opinion because it reaches far and you don't have to deal with recharging-or the vibration getting low while using it. I personally would rather deal with a cord. This is also less pricey than a hitachi. I used this massager for over an hour and it started to get a bit warm. But, an hour is long enough. A few minutes with this thing on high and you will almost become numb if you aren't careful. If you are looking for something inexpensive with fun attachments and super high vibrations-this is awesome! It's got 2 speed settings. Personally, I have went through about 4 vibrators in the past year and have used so many batteries that it was time for something new! This thing is amazing. If you want high vibration-get it. I would also say that it's not very loud surprisingly on the low setting-high setting gets a bit louder. It depends on what you use it for though. For sexual purposes you don't have to press hard at all, but the harder you press the louder it gets. I have had louder vibrators, with less vibration. If 10 stars were available I would give it 10!!!
This little guy is great! Easy to use, powerful yet gentle at the same time. The high and low settings are a good way to get rid of those stubborn sore spots. Also works wonders with my girlfriend ;)
An old aunt gave me my first Wahl for my wedding for,"when I just needed to relax". When the red pointy head broke last year after giving thirty years of extreme satisfaction, I was devastated. Finding this at Amazon was such a surprise. Only the Wahl give just the right sensations to that special little area where it is needed. The effects of this quiet little unit can be mind blowing and the price is the best anywhere. But who can put a price on true happiness. Girls, just try it and see.'

Battery Tester - battery
Universal Battery Tester for Energizer Duracell Battery, Analyze AA AAA C D 9V and Button Type Cell Batteries for Lithium Alkaline or Rechargable Type
This is the easiest way to check the state of charge of a small battery. You don't need to find your voltmeter, leads and hope the voltmeter batteries are good. Just insert the battery between the two contacts on the side of this tester and it will show you if it is good. AAA through D and nine volt batteries are easy to place between the contacts. The red contact is for the positive side of the battery being tested. The tester has no batteries to go dead and replace because it uses the power from the battery it is testing to get the state of charge reading. I keep mine with my replacement batteries so I always know where it is. I just find this tester more convenient to use than a voltmeter for checking a battery. Holding voltmeter leads to each terminal of a battery and reading the meter requires two hands and placing the voltmeter where you can read it. Universal Battery Tester Tool (Battery NOT Included) -- Best Tester on Amazon!
We were tired of having dozens of batteries laying around the house and not knowing if they were any good or not. So, we found this on-line for a minimal amount and it works just as advertised. It's easy to use and very accurate. Great buy for the price!
With alkaline batteries a voltage tester like this will work most of the time. With the new generation of rechargeable batteries it is worthless. I have had rechargeable batteries that showed as being at 100% on the charger and with the battery tester but would not enable electronic devices to function properly.
I finally bought a $27 pulse load battery tester by ZTS and it showed that two my "good" batteries were in fact only at a 40% charge. No different than a car battery where you need to apply a load and observe the voltage drop to know if the battery is still viable.
The ZTS Mini '9R' Multi-Battery TesterTM
The ZTS works on all battery types (alkaline, NiCad, NiMh, lithiumm). Fast and easy and accurate.
Why (oh, why?) did I wait so long to order one of these? Sure, I own expensive digital Fluke multi-meters but who wants to dig one out, hook up the leads, etc. just to test a battery that wound up in a drawer? This fine device will be living with the new battery cache (so I'll remember where it is!) and we'll no longer be throwing out batteries that we "think" are bad or keeping batteries that we "think" are still okay! What about batteries that are past their "Best if used by" date, no more guesswork!
We've been through a bundle of these. Mostly the kind that have the angled arm that you raise with your finger. You take your chances on accuracy of the reading. This one is much easier to use, produces an accurate reading, and costs less. What more can you ask for? I love it!
I bought this battery tester after my decades old (and relatively expensive) Radio Shack tester finally failed. I didn't expect much for $4, but this is a good tester. It's small, convenient, easy to use and accurate enough for my purposes.
This product checks AA, AAA, C, D, 9volt. Just thought I would put that out there since I wasn't sure when I purchased this product. Anyway, it works perfect for an inexpensive means of checking whether batteries are good or not. It's not 100%, right to the exact point accurate, but it is in the general area and close enough to be confident in either keeping a good battery or throwing one away. I use it all the time and would definitely recommend it!!!
I like versatile tools. Knowing I can check AAA, AA, C, D, 9V & button cells was my key feature. Some battery driven stuff, like toys, require a strong battery to run good enough for the kids to enjoy. But, others, like portable radios will pick up a signal with weaker batteries. Having an easy tool to check their power level is so convenient.
You almost need 3 hands. The battery has to be held in place, and the contact slid to hold it. I just needs a curved rest to hold the battery which would cost less than a cent to add to the production cost. The construction feels flimsy. I would surprised if the this lasts for more than year. - Battery'

Counter - tally counter, lap counter
This counter is perfect for counting laps. I walk about 5 miles a day around an indoor track. I lose count in my head. So I bought this little blue counter. I have the metal version, but it is heavy by comparison. This blue plastic counter is a simple machine, light-weight, needs no batteries, and is very inexspensive. GOGO™ Hand Tally Counter in Blue, ABS Mechanical Clicker, Handheld Tally Clicker
I needed several of these - loved the blue, plus it stands out from others! It worked well, easy to carry, doesn't rust and works reliably. So, what did I do? I bought more! Great product, great price, friendly company.
For years I had a chrome colored lap counter which I had bought at a health club. I used it to count laps on a circular track. Eventually, the item started to fall apart, and I feared that this was no longer available, since everything is now computerized. I checked on Amazon and discovered that the item not only still exists, but is now available in colors! I was ecstatic to receive it and begin using it. It is very lightweight and operates sooooo smoooooothly. I'm sure there are other uses for this type of counter, but this indoor track walker didn't need any other reasons to order this item.
Purchased to help a volleyball fan keep the score of each set/games. Durable, lightweight, small and portable. Glad to have them! Bought a different color for each of the teams competing in a match. - Tally Counter - Lap Counter'

8300 - 8330, 8300
What was so OUTSTANDING about OEM is that upon receiving the Blackberry Standard Battery C-S2 for Blackberry Curve is that the battery was already fully charged when I placed it into the device. The purchased item (battery) was packaged with care. I have now adopted OEM as a personalized method of purchases.
Hats Off!!!! RIM Standard Battery
The batteries I received were not only used with no protective wrapping whatsoever but 1 of the 2 batteries was totally defective. This battery was not even recognized as installed in the phone. OEM did address the problem by refunding the cost of the purchase. - 8330 - 8300 - Curve - Blackberry Curve Battery'

Blackberry 9700 - bold 9700 dock, bold 9700
This is the 3rd blackberry that I've bought the charging stand for and it really does make it convenient to charge your phone. The cradle eliminates the need to plug in for charging which doesn't sound like much except if you keep getting calls the plug/unplug thing gets old fast. Also, when you cradle you get a clock face which is ideal for your bedside... Blackberry Charging Pod for BlackBerry Bold 2
Its definatly worth it... instead of paying $40+ for the same thing buy it here it's definatly original RIM product and its sleak look and anti-slip coated underneth so it does not move on your tale top. its a great product and works perfectly im very happy with it
Excellent little port. My past three phones have all died because the charging ports have broken. This little device has the world's easiest method of charging - using metal touchpoints in the cradle to connect with metal touchpoints in the phone. Additionally, the cradle has some weight to it, so it is stable on the table/desk. Overall this is the best $10 you can spend to protect your phone. - Blackberry Bold 9700 - Bold 9700 Dock - 9700 Dock - Bold 9700'

Fruit Of The Loom - hanes, underwear
Quality briefs, the band is nicely made and cotton material is heavier/thicker than other brands. I've had them several months and have noticed no shrinking or the band stretching out at all. They fit comfortably all around. Fruit of the Loom Men's 5-Pack Wardrobe Briefs,Black/Grey,Medium
I like this F.O.t.L classic brand of underwear. I'd like to see all black underwear in one package or underwear that's actually stain resistant (yeah, I'm kidding but I can dream can't I?) but this is close enough and it fits nicely even after numerous washings. Recommended as it is priced quite reasonable, comfortable and looks good on. Not that I'd walk around in public with just a pair of these on but I do have a wife I'd like to not scare.
In the last year I have purchased underwear from two major retailers and one mail order firm. They all seemed to be cut from the same pattern with leg openings cut to fit the leg of an elephant that went nearly to the waist which was cut lower than a full cut usually is. This gave no support and meant you might as well be wearing nothing at all. Also, their prices were unrealistically high for a two pack.
These are truly great fitting true full cut briefs with normal leg openings that used to be the norm. I did not give them a 5 star rating as the fabric is light weight (fine for hot weather). Also the waist band and construction could be better but you are getting a much better product than the price would indicate.
The color choices are fine for me but more choices would be fantastic. FOL also makes an upmarket brief using the same pattern that uses heavier fabric but are much more expensive and difficult to find in large sizes, especially in varied patterns and colors. - Briefs - Hanes - Jockey - Underwear'

Wow my kids love these and so do I!!!
I purchased these fins after seeing the swim school use these as swimming aides for toddlers & kids. Adds comfort and CONFIDENCE for the kids, fits extremely well for smaller sized feet (kids sizes 6 & 9), and stays on without loosening. As others have mentioned, the fins do correct body position in the water. I also used these for snorkeling with my 5 yr old in open water.
The strap has three adjustment snaps...three on the fin and three on the heel strap. You can use one, two, or three to size up or down from the standard size (all three connected). We use all three for both kids, which may add to the security of the clasp. If you need to size up or down and connect with one or two snaps, these fins may not be as secure...something to keep in mind. Finis Fishtail Baby Fins (Blue)
I bought two pairs, different sizes for my 3 & 6 year old boys. These fins really helped influence the correct horizontal swimming posture. Before using these fins, my boys were always exhausting themselves with a "bicycle" kick and they tended to remain in a more vertical/upright position which also tended to cause them to sink.
Once they had these fins on their feet, their posture changed and their ability to achieve some actual propulsion in the water gave them the confidence to truly swim. My 6 year old literally went vest free and eventually fin free within a week. He is now swimming on his own but occassionally wears his fins still for the speed and efficiency. My 3 year old loves them and though he still wears a vest, I have observed considerable progress in an improved swimming form/posture and the fins have definately boosted his confidence in keeping up with his big brother.
I highly recommend these and in fact I've bought two additional sets for my two nephews. - Lap Count - Swimming - Counter - Lap Counters'
