Five Star

I REMEMBER ALL FALL DOWN BACK IN 1985 BUT NEVER KNEW WHO SUNG IT IN 1995 I FOUND OUT IT WAS BUY A GROUP NAMED FIVE STAR I WENT OUT AND FOUND THE CASSETTE TAPE AND I WAS SHOCKED IT HAS SOME GREAT TRACKS ON THEIR BESIDES THEIR HITS MY OTHER FAVORITES ARE NOW IM IN CONTROL I JUST LOVE THEIR SYNTS WOW MUSIC WILL NEVER BE THE SAME I ALSO WOULD RECOMMED THEIR SECOND ALBUM I THINK IT SOLD MORE THEN THEIR FIRST . Luxury of Life

If you like Five Star, get this reissue. It's nicely packaged and the sound quality is definitely an improvement from the original cd issue. The bonus tracks are not really rare though. Even in America, they are easy to find. What's missing is the a 12inch remix of Let Me Be the One. It's called the 'dance remix' and was on some 12-inch's with the Philadelphia remix, depending on which catalog number was on the picture sleeve. Anyways, it's a slamming remix that mixed All Fall Down in the intro and includes scratching, sampling, and a different sax solo. That version would have made this reissue a MUST BUY!

Like the last reviewer stated, the REALLY good songs on this album are "R.S.V.P.", "Let Me Be The One", "Hide and Seek", "Love Take Over", "All Fall Down", & "System Addict". As for all the rest, ok, to boring. I honestly skip all the rest of the songs. Other than that, this album is a classic!

Back in the day Five Star debuted in 1985 with Luxury of Life. There are some great tracks on the album, Let Me Be The One, All Fall Down, Love Take Over, Hide and Seek, RSVP and System Addict all make the grade. There are some not so good tracks also though, Say Goodbye, Winning, Crazy all have poor production values. Off This 1st album Five Star had some hits and rightly so, the weaker tracks should have been omitted and replaced with stronger material.'

Portable Gps - tomtom, portable gps

I bought this to replace my 2-year-old TomTom XL 340S, mainly because I wanted lifetime map updates which were not available when I bought my XL. I hooked both units up in my car and drove around for an hour to compare them. A couple obvious differences are that the VIA units are slightly thinner and lighter than the XL series, and the VIAs have a slightly better screen, although honestly I could barely tell the difference. Diagonal lines are a little less jaggy on the VIA if you look closely, but the increased resolution does not make much difference. The font size is slightly different as well. The font for the current street is a little larger on the VIA, but the font for the next street to turn onto is slightly smaller, which you can see in the screen image on this site. The street name is green and white and meant to look like a highway sign. The fonts were perfectly fine on my XL, and they are fine on the VIA as well. One thing that they changed, and I think this is new for the VIA line, is that when you are approaching your destination it will tell you if it's on the right or the left. With previous generation TomToms you could see which side of the street your destination was on by looking at the screen, but it didn't announce it audibly. It's a slight improvement, but not a big deal in my opinion.

As far as navigation, the two units were pretty similar when giving directions. I noticed that in some places the Lane Guidance screen would kick in on the XL while it did not on the VIA. I think they have tweaked the software a little after realizing that there were times when Lane Guidance was coming on when it wasn't really needed. Also, I noticed at one exit that the XL said to exit and "go straight on," (although the screen showed a left turn with an arrow) when in fact it should have said exit and turn left. The XL got it wrong, the VIA got it right. Again, that was probably just the result of improvements that have been made to the software in the last two years. Also, the XL would say "take the exit toward Erie, PA" (spoken as "pa" as in "papa"), whereas the VIA just said take the exit toward Erie, and didn't mention the state. It's kind of pointless to say the state in that instance, so just saying a city and leaving it at that is fine.

And now for the best feature. The reason I would not consider any other brand of PND right now is because TomTom is the only brand with the excellent EasyPort Mount. I only use my PND when I travel by air and then rent a vehicle. In my opinion, having the mount built-in to the unit is great. It is much easier to pack and carry than it would otherwise be with a mount that is a separate piece of hardware. I've had no problems with the EasyPort Mounts on both of my TomToms. They work great!

I didn't want the traffic or Bluetooth options, so I went with the "M" instead of the "TM" and the 1405 instead of the 1435.

Overall this is a great PND. I highly recommend it to anyone who takes along a PND for use in rental cars. The EasyPort Mount is excellent and makes for a compact and easy to transport device, and TomTom is the only company that offers it. TomTom VIA 1405TM 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic & Maps

I just bought this a few weeks ago and sent it back within 3 days. Why?

1. Lifetime maps code was invalid at the TOMTOM WEB SITE. I called customer support and they wanted me to scan and send the UPC, The original packing slip, and the plakard with the original activation code before they would do anything. Woa, stop! This was a BRAND NEW PURCHASE with a bad code in THEIR database. I expect a solution and service, not suspicion and hoops to jump through. Customer Service gets 1 star because I don't want anyone to think I skipped it.

2. Nothing in the POI db. I tried it a few times as is and it didn't even find simple things like older restaurants.

3. Wouldn't find satellites until I plotted a route. I wanted to know where I was 1st, kinda handy to have that info when out of town.

4. The VIA won't synch to the full client on the desktop. This acts more like a rushed to production BETA.

AVOID! Get the Garmin instead. not enough letters in the word "sucked" to properly emphasize the suckiness of this product.

I recently purchased the TomTom Via 1405, 4.3 inch GPS unit as an upgrade to a 2007 vintage TomTom One, Third Edition. I was planning an extensive road trip through Canada and wanted something a bit newer, faster and bigger. I also wanted the "lifetime map updates" which are a popular, inexpensive addition at the time of purchase now-a-days. The purchase through Amazon was a piece of cake - as usual.

Some impressions - the unit is light, well put together and starts up fast. However, I noticed right away that even with the screen brightness turned all the way up, this unit is noticeably dimmer than the old TomTom One. On the dash, in the right lighting, it is very difficult to see. I never had that problem with the old unit. Second - the power plug has changed from the widely available, familiar "Mini-USB" to the less available "Micro-USB". Also, the port is in a recessed hole, making some aftermarket charge cables difficult if not impossible to use. The included non-coiled Micro USB power cord is quite long. My dash mount is about 15 inches from my cigarette lighter plug so I have about 3 feet of extra cable to deal with. I have tried two different coiled, shorter Micro USB 12v power cables but neither have worked properly with the unit. One I had to shave down quite a bit to get a proper fit but it still would not work right. On the old TomTom One, you could use just about any Mini USB cable to power it.

Another annoyance is that the unit, when mounted on the dash (not hanging from the window) causes the "L" ended stock cable to point up in the air before making a 180 degree turn to drop down to the cigarette plug.

The new mount is totally built into the back of the unit. My experience is that the rubber suction cup gives up it's grip long before the unit quits working. I am making it a point to un-stick the mount every time I park the car for more than a few minutes. It does not look like this suction cup will be easy to replace. The mount itself seem to hold well on a clean surface although it does not place the unit very far from the windshield. Any radical angle causes the side of the frame to touch the glass.

The Via units also use a new software interface to connect with TomTom for updates, etc. I do not like it compared to the older TomTom Home software. The new interface is a connection to a web page. It does not allow for remote operation of the unit, like the old TomTom Home did and it is confusing to install updates, initialize your map subscriptions, etc. It took me several tries to get my lifetime map subscription up and running and it felt like I happened on the solution by accident. Thinking back, I can't remember what I did to get it to happen but after several attempts, it just worked all of a sudden.

For those who are familiar with the older TomTom units, the new interface is nice. It now shows street and POI's in proper style - no more all lower case names, etc. The map routing is quick and easy to understand. A frequent route I take is now listed correctly the first try in lieu of the custom routing I used to have to invoke to get it to work on the One series. The POI database is up to date for the most part and quick & easy to operate. Complicated interchanges are now displayed in a clear, temporary display which give very precise lane guidance, etc.

All in all - I still like the TomTom units. I was quite surprised at some of the steps backward I feel the new units have taken however. I think TomTom has to work on the software interface and would like to see the Via units incorporated into the older TomTom Home stand alone software package... - Tomtom Gps - Tomtom - Portable Vehicle Gps - Portable Gps'

Bostitch - cpo bostitch, brad nailers

Since each seller may have a different standard and policy, my review is more specific to the one that I purchased from Tool King. Please see my uploaded photos above, the unit I received was likely to be a rental unit. There are stains all over the handle. The paint on the tool is worn off at corners, indicating substantial usage. The signs of "reconditioning" are the black marker cover-up of the scratches on the black paint. The tool is in working order. But it is deceiving to call it refurbished. Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/SB-2IN1 2-In-1 Narrow Crown Stapler/18-Gauge Brad Nailer

This gun works perfect with not one problem. I have always liked Bostitch tools and this one being reconditioned has been tested better than a stock shelf item and I would buy reconditioned anytime with full warranty and I save about 30%, a good deal in my book.

Just started to use the 2 in 1 Bostitch. I would personally recommend to anybody that has a workshop or is a woodworking. It's lite weight plus can get into about any space to staple or put in a brad. Yes' it is small but packs enough power to set the stable or brad where you want it.

works just like it noted in the booklet with no problems.. looks brand new (I could not tell if it was used at all).. Came in a case with complimentary staples and nails (Hello and Thank You Bostitch/Amazon) Thanks so much to whom it may concern....

I bought this item for the flexibility of being able to use brads or staples in it, and the price was very reasonable. When I tried out my Bostitch U/SB-2in1 I could not get it to drive the brads all the way into the 3/4 in plywood I was using for the test. I had the air preasure at the Max recommended for its operation. There is a little knurled wheel in the front, but adjusting it up or down did't seem to make any difference. I looked in the operating manual that comes with the nailer, but could find no solution to the problem. The manual is very poorly written. So I just had a bunch of brads with their heads sticking out of the wood. Maybe they should send a nail set along with this item.

I tried out the staples and had the same result.

I don't know whether its being reconditioned had anything to do with the poor performance. In any event, this one is not a good buy at any price.

Works excellently perfect for the home repair projects I'm involved in.

In the box was everything I needed to get started. You just need a compressor and hose.

The gun is reasonably light, about 2 pounds, making it very easy to maneuver.

Tool King had the best overall deal.

I just ordered this nailer on 6-15-11 and received it TODAY!! (6-16-11) WOW!! that was quick...So, I take it out of the box. The carrying case is clean and working order with the owners manual. The nailer is clean, no blemishes, doesn't even look like it has ever been used.

I tested the nailer with the provided narrow crown 18 Gage staples and then the brad nails. The gun works perfect. I am glad I bought this from Amazon instead of paying full price on a brand new unit. If your looking for good quality tools, CPO is the way to go. I cant say enough good things about CPO.

Thank you

Billy

Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/SB-2IN1 2-In-1 Narrow Crown Stapler/18-Gauge Brad Nailer

I started to do some minor repairs after our foundation was repaired and realized a trim nailer was badly needed. I located this one on the internet and figured the price was right. I am glad I bought it . it came in a nice case, came quickly and works great.

No complaints on this refurbished item. Redid all of my kitchen cabinet doors using this baby. I'm sure it saved me over $3K. Couldn't be happier. Says it shouldn't be used over 100 psi, but I cranked it up to 120 just to get thru the hard beadboard I put over the melamine, and it did great. This was using the 3/4" staples, which I know I went thru a few hundred. I haven't used it yet as a brad nailer. - Woodworking - Cpo Bostitch - Brad Nailer - Brad Nailers'

This is a fantastic product.

Only two simple things need to be done after you have plugged everything in.

Read the manual provided online. It is very informative and explains everything in detail.

Download WD Discovery. Link for it is provided in the online manual.

You can then map the hub as a hard drive and it'll function just like any other hard drive you might have used.

Just drag any content you want into it and you are done.

My dad who isn't technologically savvy has started using it as well which tells you a lot.

It really is that simple to use. Western Digital WD TV Live Hub 1 TB Media Center

This thing does what it suppose to do in addition having 1TB HD it's a big plus. I can honestly say this is the best $200 that I've spent in a long time. It plays every possible movie format that I have and that's the main reason I bought it. Couple of things that I'm not really thrilled about (that's why I'm giving 4 stars)...first no built-in WI-FI, you have to get one of those USB Wi-Fi adapters..... and the second online content is very limited but I hope this will change with future firmware update

Set up was easy (I used a wired connection because it was convenient for me and the WIFI is not integrated). It connects as a NAS, but the copy speed was painstakingly slow. In the end it is much faster to use the USB connection to copy in your media files.

The main menus are easy enough to use, the setup was not complex, but it took several tries to get the media library compiled. I had to clear it and re-compile it several times before it found everything. Sorting and categorizing is ok, but weak, allows no cover art (don't think iTunes-like here...), no descriptions.

The remote is adequate but is missing a few things users take for granted, notably no slow-motion (forward or back), and video control is very imprecise. The remote control buttons are confusingly placed and make it awkward in a dimly lit room. Using the on-screen keyboard with the remote is not at all a positive experience.

It has an automatic firmware update feature, but the WD Support site is full of horror stories of firmware updates that totally or partially disable the unit. Note that their site is also full of complaints about their generally unresponsive support. Not a good thing.

I do like it for streaming and watching NetFlix but that's available on my TV and DVD player as well (again, the remote is awkward here, sometimes unresponsive too). The YouTube interface is not so easy to use (the remote...), but Pandora is just fine.

I bought this and am very happy with the "playing movies" off the internal harddrive part of it. The interface is good and pretty easy to get around. The whole box is amazingly small and quiet.

The only issue I've had the last couple days is getting it to see the internet and my computer through the router...and I'm running a cable to the router-I'm not wireless.

I could plug the WD straight into my modem and get netflix fine but when it went through my brand new netgear wpn824N-100NAS router, I couldnt get on or network with my computer. I've tried everything, read every troubleshooting forum on the web...but no joy. The router works for my computer...I get the internet on it just fine, but not on the Live Hub.

Called WD today. after an hour of resetting router, resetting Live Hub, going through networking on my computer--all of which I'd tried already, he finally asked me what router I used. Then said it wasnt compatible with the Live Hub. I'm sort of questioning if it's just an excuse, but going to try a different router tomorrow. Most on the list he sent were actually difficult to find at a bestbuy.

I caution everyone to make sure they have a approved router before attempting this. very frustrating to spend days trying to figure it out.

***UPDATE***after being told by WD that my router wasn't compatible and being told by NetGear that the HUB was at fault...I went and bought a E2000 lynksis router instead. Set it up, plugged Live Hub into router, clicked on Network Setup...Boom! computer see's the hub, Hub see's the internet and Netflix streams flawlessly! After two weeks of heavy frustration, I really enjoy the Live HUB.

I have an external USB hard drive loaded with media: many years of Photos, Music and Movies. I was excited to learn I could now enjoy them on my HD TV rather than just my PC. I was not interested as much in Internet connectivity, as I also have a ROKU internet media player. Despite all the hype in the reviews, I was quite disappointed by WD TV Live Hub.

My review is for media on my portable hard drive, attached via the USB port. I did not transfer the files to the hard drive built-in WD TV Live Hub. They appeared as "Local USB" instead of "Local Internal". I downloaded the latest firmware before starting my evaluation. I used an HDMI cable to connect to the TV, and configured the box for HD 1080p.

WD TV Live Hub took 30+ minutes to compile all the media content on my portable drive. This is a one time deal and thus not a big issue. But do not expect to attach stored media and play it immediately.

My biggest disappointment was the low quality rendering my photos on the HD TV.

My photos are sharp, high resolution jpegs, 4K*3K pixels, compressed to about 4 MB. When streamed via WD TV Live, they look as poor as the 0.5 MB sample pictures provided in the box. My 55-in Samsung HD TV, which has a USB port, renders them much better than did WD TV Live hub. For example, I could not read car license plates when rendered with WD TV Live Hub while they were clearly readable using the Samsung TV built-in USB port. WD TV Live Hub does not do a very good job downscaling a 4MB jpeg image, and it takes 17+ seconds to do it (time to display the next image). Using 12 bit rather then default 8 bit color depth made no difference.

The video quality of playing stored movies was acceptable. Maybe because image sharpness is less critical when you have motion. And I do not have blue ray discs to compare. I only tried to play VOB/ISO movies. One nice feature is that WD TV Live supports the original menu system, but there is not such thing as a "Menu" button on the remote.

Search has been a touted as a feature of this device. WD TV Live Hub lets you search for movies stored based on title words, director and primary actors. Unfortunately it does not work. First it is cumbersome to key-in the letters with the UI. What was most frustrating, however, is that in my 15 attempts and just using the 1st word in the title, search succeeded only once. And even then, it found only the 2nd of three movies whose title started with the same word. The movies where all there, scrolling down the folders, but were not found using 'Search'. This is totally unacceptable.

For songs, the UI is quite primitive as well. I am used to iTunes and Window Media 9 interfaces, and WD TV Live hub is a long way from that.

Media players are evolving and improving. WD TV Live Hub claims to be 4th generation. I found it is not yet suitable for my particular needs. - Wd Tv - Streaming - Wdtv - Western Digital'

Tools

I guess I should have read what's included a little closer. Yes, 205 pieces. 30 of those are small plastic cable ties. Item was also shipped with an important piece missing, the adapter for the ratchet to allow use of the smaller sockets. Called the seller and was promised a call back that never came. Fortunately had a similar piece from an older tool set I had otherwise this would have been even more worthless. Great Neck GN205 205-Piece Home Tool Chest Set

I ordered this to have a set of tools I could fit in a kitchen cabinet and get my bigger tool set out of sight and back to the garage. It was not immediately obvious to me looking at the Amazon description that this was about a 2/3rds size tool set, everything is slightly smaller than regular tools. This is not a big deal for a light use tool kit in the kitchen but no one would want this to do any serious work with it. Hang a picture, pull out a nail, unscrew something, no problem.

The overall quality seems ok so far, although I have not put any of the tools to even the lightest test, but there was nothing flimsy about them (other than the small size). I am giving them 4 stars as it fits my purpose and I may have been partly responsible for thinking that a 12.8 inch wide tool box was going to hold a 13inch hammer.

Even at $31 delivered you are only getting poor quality tools in a cool little package. These tools are truly best for those who would have no tools otherwise. I purchased the 40 piece set at $9 in order to check out the quality; it seamed to good to be true....it was.

The storage chest is crap. The tools themselves are low quality and poorly measured (for fit to the job). 1/2" maybe 1/2 or a little more, or a little less. The storage chest is held shut by a vertical plastic bar that can easily be lost or broken. I like the way each tool has its own place. Not too bad for backup to your backups

This thing is full of a bunch of useless tools that no average around-the-house type guy would use for anything. The box itself is cheap and the drawers are hard to open. I don't even think it comes with a screwdriver. Don't get this....beware!

This is a great idea for putting together Tools. It is Based on the Larger Mechanic's Chest. It has all the essential tools needed to be the handi man around the house. I would recommend it to anyone considering it.

Also consiter the KR Tools 10120 200-Piece Professional Tool Set.

it will make a very good compliment.

i got my products today and iam very pleased about what i got all of the peices where with these items so iam very satisfied but Amazon could be cheaper on some of there stuff but its alright ill pay for it cause i use my tools everyday so im happy now thanks amazon'

Sexy Lingerie - sexy lingerie

I looked in stores and online extensively for a long black slip with some lace. This one fit the bill perfectly and was considerably less than anything I found elsewhere. I believe the price has gone up quite a bit since I purchased it, but it would still probably be competetive. I would recommend it, and it comes in various lengths. Classic Half Slip in 32 Inch Length - Soft Antistatic Non-cling Fabric + up to Plus Sizes!

This slip arrived faster than I expected. It looked fine and the material was better than I thought. Because of the low price I believed the material would be very thin but it is better than expected. The lace looks good also. I will buy more in another lenght and color.

Half-slips in plus-size are hard to find at retail stores, and expensive when found. Loved the slips I ordered from this seller. Quality was excellent. Fit was perfect, length (I purchased the longer slip) was perfect for me. At 5'2" I wear my skirts just below the knee. Can't beat $9.99. Will definitely purchase more!

Service was excellent and product arrived surprisingly fast (3 days after purchase). The color was fresh looking, the lace at the bottom quite lovely, the fit was perfect, and overall quality was superb...better than other half slips that cost more than twice as much. And as promised, it does not cling, which in my experience is rare. I will be a return customer and enthusiastically encourage others to shop here! - Sexy Lingerie'

Blackberry 8220 - unlocked cell phones, flip phone

I really like this phone. I bought it because I had work in South Africa for 3 months and needed something that I could put a local sim card in. I like this phone so much that I think I will keep it and use it when I get back to the States.

-Calls are both reliable and clear which I think is the most important thing(it is a phone first after all)

-The keyboard takes some getting used to but I think I now prefer it to either a qwerty(takes up too much space w/ too small of buttons for fingers like mine), a touch screen(same finger problem) or a regular keypad. I don't have excessively large hands but I def do have "man" hands so I find many things are not built with me in mind. If this is not your case then you can disregard this part but I find that many of the men I work with and my friends tend to have similar issues.

-I didn't really want a flip phone either but now that I have one I am becoming a fan(no pocket dialing or key locking etc.)

-Battery life is good. I turned on the music player and left it on speaker to see how long it would take to drain the thing and after 4 hrs and less than half the battery gone gave up.

-Camera isn't that great but is more than adequate for a phone like this.

-I like that I can turn off data services and keep wi-fi on so that I don't get clipped in the US for a blackberry plan and can still use data from wi-fi(obviously not as great if you don't have regular wi-fi spots but if data is that important to you then you can always purchase the plan)

-The screen isn't that big(it is more than adequate though) It is bright and crisp

-Interface is good and I like having a smaller phone with the blackberry ball

-Music production quality is really good and doesn't drain the battery(see above) plus the ability to expand the memory is nice.

-Basic memory included is really not adequate if you are going to actually use this as a blackberry or music phone but I picked up a microSD 4gb for less than $10 and am so far happy so plan on buying a card

-Phone seems pretty durable but I haven't had it that long so I will update this as I go

-I have read some reviews about the phone being to slow or not working etc. I think this is prob a hardware issue that would be covered as long as you buy one with a warranty. I think it is also the effect of the 1 in 1000 customers who get a bad phone to be unhappy enough to write a review while 999 ppl who are content won't.

-This is NOT a smartphone but it does do what you need it too. Personally I don't want a phone that is too big just so I can do inadequate work on it. I can do the basics of what I need to while on the go and if I need to do something serious I will sit down and pull out my laptop. That is my preference though.

All in all a great phone for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend it to anyone either traveling or just looking for an unlocked phone in the U.S. BlackBerry 8220 Flip Pearl Unlocked Phone with GPRS, EDGE and 2 MP Camera--U.S. Version with 60 Day Warranty (Black)

Background: If you do your research on this phone (and other BlackBerry's) you will note that many people talk about the bugs/problems, etc. Many of these complaints are hardware based (bad chips, etc) NOT software based (although it may seem so).

Make sure that if you buy it, you can return it (if bad) with no hassles/restocking fees (example: Amazon and sold by Amazon).

Condition: Mines was like new (with covered screens), original box, USB cable, power cable, original CD (there's an update online), headset and small instruction booklet (does not look original). Mines had no software/hardware issues (no rebooting, no Bluetooth issues, no slowdowns, etc).

The advantages in general of the blackberry's are the great screen (geared for text readers) and the keyboard.

The bad is the Blackberry "WiFi situation": they want you to buy the "blackberry internet plan" which is a hookup with your cell phone provider. Cell phone providers will have different names for this plan but note that it will cost you in the US around $15-$20. If you have a prepaid plan they will tell you the plan is not available (unless you have a monthly plan). I don't recommend this plan (if you can get it) because I consider it a ripoff. That will probably be the biggest issue with this phone (and all blackberry's).

The workaround: If you want to use Wi-Fi they will use a combination of WiFi and GPRS/EDGE. For example when you try to use the BlackBerry GMail app from Google you will be able to install it halfway but when it tries to connect it will tell you, you need a connection. If you disable your data connection (GPRS/EDGE) you will get the same result and so on and so forth with different applications.

To get around this BlackBerry Wi-Fi situation you have to get applications that are not exactly BlueBerry approved (and you will probably not see in their new store) that allow you to use Wi-Fi ONLY and not a combination Wi-Fi/GRPS/EDGE (again they use EDGE/GPRS to check if you have the BlackBerry Plan if you don't they don't give you access). For example for GMail I use LogicMail (uses Wi-Fi only), UberTwitter, Opera Mini, Yahoo Mail (you have to use their website) with the Opera Mini browser because you won't be able to use it with the BlackBerry browser (these are the only ones I found that I installed).

Final review: Great phone, almost perfect form factor and screen (recommended 7 point font), almost perfect for SMS/MMS/emailing. Wi-Fi, Keyboard is better than a standard number keyboard but NOT better than a full keyboard (of course). If you can deal with the Wi-Fi issue (and sub par and very limited apps compared to the IPhone or even Windows Mobile phone) then this is a GREAT phone! - Blackberry 8220 - Wireless Accessories - Unlocked Cell Phones - Flip Phone'

Dvd Player - cd, dvd burner

Just got this puppy and am very happy with it. It's so small but does so much. I plugged it into an older PC and it "plugged and played" right of the bat (I run WindowsXP Pro). Also it is very fast, faster than the CD-RW in my Sony Viao. With the right CD burning software I used it to burn a folder of 50 MP3s onto a CD-RW disk and it was very quick! Even though my older PC has USB 1.0 it was still fast.

My only negative is that it comes with two USB cords, one for data and one for power. I only have four USB ports so I have to do some wire switching to use it, then switch back.

I really appreciate a product that works right out of the box! USB 2.0 Slim External DVD ROM CD-RW Combo Drive Writer

* Driver installation not needed. I have a GateWay running Windows XP and a Dell on Vista, both of which recognized this burner instantly.

* Power supply not necessary, but do keep in mind that you must use 2 USB cables for this device to work properly. One cable is dedicated for power, the other cable for data. So in a way, it's not truly "plug and play". More like plug-plug-play. :)

This DVD drive arrived in a thin piece of cardboard (similar to what books are delivered in). NO box. NO padding or protection whatsoever.

It was in a plastic ziplock bag. Also, don't expect a "brand new" drive. What I received is clearly a generic used or refurbished DVD drive. The outside casing is gouged and scratched and looks YEARS old. The parts inside the tray looked scratched and used as well. Unless my order was an anomaly, this company is apparently trying to pass off used or refurbed gear as new. If that bothers you....stay away from this. I'm sending this scratched up thing back.

I used this drive once, and it worked fine. After that, power goes to the device like it's supposed to, and the drive will open and close, but nothing happens. The computer recognizes that there's a drive plugged in, but it spins for a few moments, stops, and makes the noise like it's been unplugged. And since I was an idiot and threw out the packaging after making sure it worked initially, I'm out of luck and can't send it back. I wouldn't recommend this item at all. I feel like I wasted the money on it.

Product did not install on new ASUS laptop. Running 64 bit W7, windows did not see the device. This item is not sold as an OEM-type product, but there was no documentation or support available. All text files on included CD were in an Asian font. After several hours gave up trying to find drivers or install.

Fab USB Item for notebooks it was easy too. Plug and play yup go on get one I think you will be happy and it was a great price. It's just the thing needed for installs on notebooks and computers without DVD rom drives. Yes I would buy another but make sure you get a case for it because it's shell is a bit flimsy. Cool Fab Gear!!! Thanks and all the best.

If you have Windows 7 do not buy this..This much like many other games, programs, hardware and such does not work..It half a@@ed played a dvd..The installation cd did not work inside the player at all just kept giving me an error... finally got it to install quake four then played a bit and closed the game then black screen appeared and when I restarted Windows it had chosen to ignore this player due to errors.. Can not seem to find the drivers for this giant waste of money anywhere because there is no manufacturer name anywhere on anything that came in the package..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

I have a macbook 1 with Leopard OS and works great. You don't even need to install any drivers, just plug it in and go! You need to use 2 USB ports at the same time however, one for power and one for regular use.

The DVD drive did not plug n' play instantly, so I went to read the instructions and found that half were written in chinese. The english ones were readable enough, but since written by someone from another country they were not completely clear. The MAIN REASON I could not get the DVD to work right away was because the vendor DID NOT include the second plug. One USB plug is for the power, and then there is another slot for actually connecting it to the computer. I dug out an old one that I had and THEN it worked. It didn't even need the DVD drivers and recognized it instantly.

MAKE SURE the vendor selling you this drive includes both plugs. I have to thank the reviewers here for pointing this out. If you are someone who is not interested in troubleshooting, you may wish to just pay a bit more and purchase an external DVD drive directly from whichever company you purchase your computer from. Then you will know the drive is compatible and you will also have the company's tech support to help yo. - Slim External Dvd Rw - Dvd Burner - External Drive - Cd'

Memory Card - 4gb, micro sd card

I was happy with my purchase. The 4GB MicroSD memory card was included with the promised bonuses: a full size SD adapter and MicroMate SD/SDHC compatible USB 2.0 Reader. I shopped around before making this purchase, and the total cost, including the shipping charges, was competitive compared to similar products. SanDisk 4GB MicroSDHC Card with SD Adpater ( SDSDQ-4096-A11M, US Retail Package )

I found the Product Price to be competitive and the shipping to be timely, but I did not get what was described. I chose this product because it was described a 4gb Micro SDHC card with "Speed performance rating - Class 4" when I received the product it was clearly labeled as being class 2 I checked the invoice model number on the Sandisk Web site and sure enough it was described as being class 2. Half the speed advertised and not quite the deal I thought I was getting.

Before purchasing, I checked out other sellers and read their reviews. Some mentioned some of the adapters not working. When I received mine, everything worked well - no problems with any of the adapters. The only thing is that it's a little difficult getting the microsdhc card out of the sandisk adapter. Other than that, great product and is easy to use in my LG CU720 Shine.

I needed a memory card for my LG Neon phone that would allow me to take lots of pictures or video. I found this SanDick MicroSDHC card on Amazon at a great price, plus it comes with the adapter that allows me to use my card reader to transfer pics to my computer.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8320, and this is pretty much a necessity. All you do is slide it into it's slot on the phone, and you're ready to go! No formatting was necessary for mine or my husbands (he has a Pearl 8120) and it was a much-needed increase in space, and it is a must have if you plan on using your phone to store music or take photos with (and with a 2MP camera on my phone I do that a lot), and by storing data on it and not on internal memory my phone operates faster... My Blackberry says thanks! (I just wish my model's software provided compatibility with a larger card, but that has nothing to do with the effectiveness of this product). Must have for any phone with a MicroSD slot...

This product was very easy to use and was shipped in a very timely manner. I use it to download music and pictures mostly into my Blackberry Curve. I am so glad it is compatible and at a very great price! A steal!!

More space than I'll probably ever use at the same price most charge for a 256MB MicroSD. This SDHC is compatible with the A737 and all it took was a 2 second format to get it up and running. The included SD Adapter is quite handly. Luckily I already had a SD-USB adapter so I didn't have to worry about that. Of course, anyone who doesn't may want to look for a different package or find one of the retailers including one.

This was a real gud purchase as like the other purchases I have made from Amazon. Lightening fast delivery and a real gud product. Im using this card for my blackberry pearl. Sometimes it acts a bit slow with bigger files yet dont have much to complain. Im thoroughly enjoyin this Amazon-xperience. - Memory Card - Cell Phone Memory - Micro Sd Card - 4gb'

Inkjet Cartridges - 74xl, hewlett-packard

I had an HP 3320 before buying my new HP Photosmart 4480 and the ink for both printers lasted a long time and are of very good quality. The Vivera inks are great quality for photos and time will tell how long the photos actually last. HP 74/75 Ink Cartridge, Combo Pack in Retail Packaging

In late November I bought a new HP printer from Amazon.com. At the same time I ordered two HP 74/75 Inkjet Combo Packs and am happy to report I am very pleased with the quality of the cartridges. When I need more cartridges I will order the same ones.

Company promptly shipped the order but only included the cartridges. This became more of an issue because they also sent along an HP manufacturers rebate form, but this form requires the original UPC from the box that was not included.

My second order -- service has been prompt and products are new. Packaging might not be as expected: instead of combo packs, I received 2 black cartridges, boxed separately, and 2 color cartridges, only in their foil bags. As far as I'm concerned, the less packaging, the better. They are NOT refurbished items, they are new and work well. I'll continue to buy from this company.

HP 74/75 Inkjet Print Cartridge Combo Pack (CC659FN)

The ink cartridges came in record time. They are authentic HP cartridges and work fine. I have not had a bad purchase or delayed delivery with Amazon. I am quite satisfied with the product and the quick delivery through Amazon. Thank you!

Saves me a trip to Staples, where I usually spend more money than I want to. There's not much I can say about the merchandise itself; it's real HP ink in the right cartridges, and it keeps my printer happy, which keeps me happy. Right price, fast delivery. - Hewlett-packard - 75xl - 74xl - Ink Cartridge'

Analog Alarm Clock - alarm clock, casio

I've owned two of these for years, they've taken a lot of abuse (we have two small boys) and still work great. Yes, the alarm setting can be off by a bit, but consistently by the same amount. So once you figure out by how much, you can easily make the correct adjustment. A small inconvenience in my opinion, considering the cost and overall quality- they do keep the time accurately. Also, a nice snooze and crescendo feature, not too annoying but loud enough. All in all, a great value.

Update 1/09 Change of features: I just got another one, and noticed they no longer have the snooze and crescendo features. Will see if the reliability is the same as before. CASIO TQ140-1 Travel Alarm Clock

I bought this clock in January 2010 from JustCalculators for $13.99 with free shipping (no super saver shipping minimum either). I would recommend this seller, who shipped promptly. For some reason another seller thinks that this clock should sell for $45.99. Please. This is just your very basic alarm clock. I bought it because my old Casio one, extremely similar but made in Japan, was 40 (yes, you read right) years old, and started working erratically.

This clock, made in China, looks very plastic in person, but not too unattractive. Because of other reviews, I wanted to see how it would work for at least a month before reviewing. So far, it has kept flawless time. Also, I have not experienced the problems others have of the alarm not going off at the exact time. However, I tend to set it for an hourly/half hour time, like 6 or 6:30 a.m. versus something like 6:20, which might make a difference. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it's not too easy to read the clock in the dark. The hands light up, but the numbers don't. My old one has a button you could press that would light up the entire dial. That feature is lacking on this clock.

In the meantime, after I bought this clock, my old Casio alarm clock started working regularly again. Figures. I don't own much that is older than that first Casio clock. Let's hope this second one is so durable. This review will be promptly updated in the event that any problems arise with the new clock.

I have used a travel alarm for years at home so that any potential power loss won't impact my getting up in time for work. My trusty 30+ year old Braun died a couple of months ago. This Casio looked like it had potential as a replacement. The ticking is so loud it keeps me awake. When this sits on your bedside table it becomes all you can hear after a while. There seems to be no place in the room that is convenient and suppresses the noise.

This little clock only measures 2" x 2" but it's simplicity makes up for the tiny size. The off/off button is simple to operate (up for "on," and down for "off"), the time and alarm are easy to set, and the clock makes no noticeable ticking sounds. The alarm is reasonably loud. I would have liked something larger and a bit more robust (I fumble in the morning) and am amazed at how difficult it is to find a simple battery operated alarm clock that does nothing but keep the time and wake you up.

I bought one of these years ago in Rome when my expensive, multi-time zone, many featured digital failed miserably after only weeks. It worked perfectly while the hotel operator that was supposed to give a slightly earlier wake-up call slept. It worked perfectly on trips thereafter and was a vital companion to make sure flights were made in time. Simple, runs on a single easily found AA cell for a long time and easily seen at night with its glowing dial and hands. A perfect example of KISS! After years of use I broke it in Rio with a pre-dawn flight to catch by forcing in a rechargeable battery that may have been a bit out of shape in darkness. Fortunately the operator in the airport hotel was on his toes though I slept less soundly knowing my reliable little wake-up companion was ruined. I was very unhappy, not expecting to find an exact replacement after the years. There was a big grin when I found Amazon had the exact thing and it sits ready to go among my travel gear. The old one resides in a little corner of a drawer with small "memories" of good things. I got some of the first digital, multi-time zone, calculator watches when they came out in Japan so I know digital. I often like digital. This is the clock I depend upon to wake me for must make flights. The only thing that knocked off a star for mechanics and construction is the fact replacing a battery in less than ideal conditions did break the original.

Smaller than I expected but it turns out that I liked the size which, of course would be great for travel. And the large, greenish numbers made it easy enough to see the time across the room. They seem like they might glow in the dark but don't really. Which was great for me because I didn't want any extra light in my room. However, I was mistakenly under the impression that this clock did not make a ticking noise. And, while it's quiet enough, in general, I can still hear it from 5 feet away while in my bed. And that's too loud for me. - Analog Alarm Clock - Casio - Travel Alarm - Alarm Clock'

Ipad 2g Screen Protector - ipad 2 accessories, ipad 2 cover

5 out of 5: "Great cover. Really nice feel, soft rubber type feel. very cosy, friendly feel. Very good protection as well. Much better than it's picture. I like this very much, just what I wanted. My last one was hard and cold, this is great."

I love the case! Affordable, great fit, and offers protection from scratches to the back of the device. One complaint is that the case smells awful(this is not an exaggeration)! Overall, I'm happy with this purchase!

We got an iPad 2 about a month ago. Instead of waiting in lines for hours/days at the Apple store (they kept selling out) I just ordered one at the online Apple store and waited 3 weeks until it shipped from China, to Alaska, to Oakland, to Portland, and finally to Seattle.

Anyway, my 3.5-year-old LOVES Garageband, and I was concerned about him dropping it. The iPad 2 is considerably lighter than the iPad, but it doesn't exactly float to the ground when dropped! And it's very slippery. We make him sit while using it, but I've caught him carrying it. I was looking for some corner and edge protection in a cover that didn't sabotage or compromise the iPad's uniquely slim feel and design. Too much to ask?

Well, being dropped is bad for gadgets with complicated electronics and big screens, no matter what you wrap them in. But the idea is that if you make a stupid, clumbsy mistake, the case should at least prevent breakage or damage. I don't care to conduct objective tests, but I feel confident this slim case with rubbery, padded corners would do quite well. Also, if you were to place it face down on a flat surface like a table, the thin rubber lip around the front edge keeps the screen from touching and getting scratched. The grip is excellent and goes a long way to prevent dropping or slidding off laps. Somehow it still manages to retain that amazing slim feel of this awe inspiring piece of technology. So I guess wanting decent protection while avoiding bulkiness is not too much to ask after all.

One possible negative: While the back and sides fit very well ("snugg", just like the company's name), the rim which wraps around the front edges seems a bit loose. And there are a couple cut-outs that the iPad 2 doesn't need. These two things lead me to believe the case was designed to work on both iPad models. When playing a game like Fruit Ninja, where you swipe your fingers wildly across the screen, it is easy to push the rubber "lip" off the edge of the device. By no means would the cover fall off because of this (the four corners and the other three edges are still hanging on), but it is a little annoying.

If you plan to travel or put your iPad in a brief case or bag of some sort, I would suggest a folio/folding case of some sort. Because our family mostly uses it around the house, this is an excellent solution and meets our needs.

I figured it was an inexpensive cover to try so I would roll with it. I love the way it feels I also like that protection it affords but what I cannot get over is the fit. This thing is too loose. If you want to hold your ipad from the side the unSnugg slips off. If they could have incorporated a harder material to frame the ipad it would have been fantastic. It's really too bad because I loved everything else about the cover. So, if you don't mind the edges slipping off on occasion it's great. I have since ordered the Macally Dualstand2 based on reviews.

I had high hopes for this case-- the price was right and other reviewers gave great reviews. However, after trying this case out, I'm sending it back because it constantly slips off th sides of my iPad when I'm holding it. I'm going to look for a case with more riid material. I bought a case for the original iPad that was flexible yet stayed snug on the unit when holding it. That's what I'm in search of forne iPad 2. - Ipad 2 Accessories - Ipad 2 Case - Ipad 2 Cover - Ipad 2 Cases'
