Boat Cover Support - boat rain water accumulating pro, useless

I have had this for four months and can say...I love it. This is a great idea and works like a charm. I seen some reviews about needing another strap or something....not sure why because mine is great! This is a must have with a cover. Taylor Boat Cover Support System

Works pretty good. Definatly better than nothing. It really needs a front support as well to keep water from collecting in the front. This is a good kit to expand off from, add some extra straps and supports and your good to go. - Boat Rain Water Accumulating Pro - Horrible - Boat Cover Support - Useless'

Usb Cord - usb cord, usb cable

was not sure if this would work i bought this to replace a $30.00 cable from radioshack for my printer a hp allin one so i breathed a sign of relief when it worked so i could return the $30.00 cale to radioshack the shipping cost was the rippoff but it arrived quickly so it ws worth it specially to replace the $30.00 cable so i saved a lot of money with this cable plus it is 4feet longer so i wont have to worry aboutdistance i have a hp printer and it worked just fine with it. 10-Foot USB Type A to Type B cable - Printer-to-Computer Connection

This is a good product. I didn't find any fault. We bought it to use it with a printer we purchased from Craigslist which came without a printer cable. The cable is pretty long and does what it supposed to do. The package arrived before the said date and in good condition. The cable is not shiny or gold coated, but I knew that and I don't see why such cables have to look pretty. Buy this cable, save some money and use the saved money on something more meaningful instead of buying a good looking cable for a higher price.

The item works great. But the shipping was horrible. I purchased this item december 26 2010, and did not recieve it til Jan 19, 2011. I was quiet upset about how long it took for me to recieve the product.

Not only was the order filled with great speed, but the product works fine. Why would anyone pay $30 for something like this from one of the major computer stores? This was an awesomely convenient sale. Commendations! I'll be back! - Usb Cord - Usb Cable - Printer Cable'

Over-the-calf - long-lasting, over-the-calf

It took me until age 47 until I really started to pay attention to my socks. I've always hated the drooping ankle-sock, showing skin with legs crossed look.. So I went on a mission to find a great, affordable over the calf and this is it. Fully stocked my sock drawer with 12 pairs in black, that's all I really need for work or leisure. The quality and comfort (they go up over your calf and STAY there...no bare ankles showing on me!) are exemplary. Next I'm going to try the athletic sock version of these, Gold Toe makes great stuff. Gold Toe Men's Canterbury Over the Calf Dress Sock 3-Pack, Black, Shoe Size 10-13

Best sock in performance that I have ever tried. I buy them in bulk and have never been dissappointed. No sagging, no defects. The only reason I toss them is that they fade to gray after a long life of use.

One of the few products that once you try them you never have to worry about this item in your wardrobe again. If they ever stopped making them, I would buy a 100 pairs just to know I would have them for my liftime.

There...I actually wrote a review on socks!

These socks are flawless. Extremely comfortable, you can wear them all day and the cotton allows your feet to breath while the nylon ensures that your socks never droop. They wear like iron, never had a hole after many years of use.

I read the reviews before purchasing but after using the socks I've found that; they cling to your pants. When standing, pants do not slip down to your shoes, they cling to your socks. When sitting, they grab your pants and stretch your pants tightly over your knees. They socks are also very tight.

I gave them 1 star because they don't fall down as advertised, and they do cover your ankles.

I'll go back to occasionally puling up my socks.

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT I'VE BEEN WEARING THESE SOCKS FOR MANY YEARS,IN FACT THIS WAS MY FOURTH ORDER OVER THE YEARS. UNTIL THIS BATCH I'VE HAD NOTHING BUT PRAISE, IN FACT THE ONLY REASON THAT I REPLACED THEM WAS THAT THE COLOR FADDED. THATS NOT TO SAY THAT THESE ARE BAD BUT JUST NOT AS GOOD AS THEY USED TO BE. THEY ARE ADVERTISED AS 70% COTTON WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE ONLY 60% COTTON HENCE THEY SOME TIMES CLING TO YOUR SLACKS, AND WHEN FOLDING TO PUT AWAY IN THE DRAW, THEY JUST DON'T KEEP THEIR SHAPE THE WAY THE OLD ONES DID. UNFORTUNATELY THEIR STILL THE BEST AVAILABLE SO I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO KEEP THEM. WHEN I WAS A YOUNG MAN ALL THESE PRODUCTS WHERE MADE IN THE GOOD OLD USA, I JUST HOPE THAT SOMEDAY THEY WILL START MAKING THEM IN THIS COUNTRY AGAIN, BECAUSE THE QUALITY WAS SO MUCH BETTER.

I have worn Gold Toe over the calf NYLON for about 40+ years and nothing comes close. They feel like silk and really stay up. Try finding 100% nylon anywhere, instead most sox are now cotton blends. Let's have a little choice around here. Being nylon, they do last a long time.

Great item. Don't know why it took me so long to try this brand. The socks actually go all the way up, over the calf, to the knee. If anything they are too long! (Many OTC socks barely make it to the calf line.) Furthermore, they really stay up, like all day for a 12-hr workshift. Nothing worse than pulling at your socks all day. Also, no toe-hole punctures yet.

I highly recommend these socks, they may be the best I have ever worn. - Socks - Over-the-calf - Long-lasting - Excellent Socks'

Deck Building Game - board game, games

Dominion is a deceptively simple appearing game which encompasses endless variation and fun. The basic game contains the following major components:

1. 25 groups of cards with additional money cards to supplement the game play (in total over 250 cards.)

2. Card storage and organizer designed specifically for organizing the components of the game.

3. The Rules.

Game Play:

A game starts with each player holding an identical small (10 cards) deck which contains the basic resources for starting play. As the game begins a group of 10 cards are selected from the 25 categories of cards in the box (the rules outline specific card selections for scenario play or people can design their own through customization. There is no banker or moderator; all players start entirely equal with the exact same cards.

During each player's turn they have the chance to take actions by playing cards from their hand and purchase new cards from the central decks (which are accessible to all players.) Each player has to balance the need to buy new cards and money, with the purchase of victory points (which remain in the player's deck but don't help them during the game itself until they are tallied up to determine the winner.)

I have to be honest, when I first heard about the game and had it described to me I didn't understand why my wife and several of our friends were so worked up over the thing. It sounded terribly dry and repetitive, particularly to a person like myself who has played collectable card games like magic the gathering for many years now

Nothing could have been farther from the truth.

Dominion has something for everyone, from the collectable card game nut, to the poker player, to the family looking for an alternative to trivial pursuit on Sunday nights. Since everyone starts out with access to the same selection of cards and the same resources for advancement, everyone has an equal chance of victory (which isn't the case in many games where the players construct their decks in advance of play.) Because there are 10 different categories of action cards (each category having at least 10 cards in its pile) to choose from there is plenty of room for strategy (particularly as the game progresses and certain resources are bought up to the point of extinction.)

The game is set up in such a way so that you can play cut throat games with lots of player-vs-player actions or less interactive games where the victory is determined who fields the most effective resource acquisition strategy. Those familiar with CCG drafting from sealed packs will feel right at home in this environment, while those with no card based gaming experience won't be at a disadvantage compared to those who have played card games extensively.

My only criticism of dominion (as has been said on several other forums) is that while the game is entirely self contained and doesn't require purchase of booster boxes and the like, I can easily see the cards (which are essential in exactly the numbers provided) wearing out or being lost. Because there are so many of them I recommend using card sleeves (available at most hobby stores from companies like rook and ultra pro.)

I started out one night thoroughly expecting to dislike this game and found myself 3 hours later having played several games and wondering where the evening had gone. This game is completely addictive and doesn't loose its fun factor after the player has played multiple scenarios in one sitting.

Simply put, this is the best interactive casual game I've played in 32 years. Dominion

Ok, I have to start this review off by saying I had my reservations about this game. I absolutely love Euro strategy games like Puerto Rico, Agricola, Power Grid, Caylus, etc, but I'm not into card games. In fact, I pretty much hate card games.

This game was getting a lot of publicity on BoardGameGeek and everyone was raving about it so I decided that I should buy it to give it a shot. I'm glad I did.

The whole point of the game is to build your deck of cards and build up a collection of victory points. The reason this game shines is because it is a quick game that only takes about 30-40 minutes to play. It is also very fun because as you are building your deck of cards you aren't usually getting rid of the cards. If you spend some gold to buy a card that gold goes back into your discard pile and will eventually be shuffled for you to use again in another turn.

There are over 500 cards in this game with around 25 different action cards available so you can vary the game a lot depending on what cards are currently on the table. The only downside is that someone that has played the game a lot and knows a base strategy can usually beat a new player easily.

Overall this game is very addicting and short, which is a good thing. You can play multiple rounds of this game in an evening as opposed to one game of another typical Euro.

In the days of technology and scheduled events we struggle to find times to connect with our children. Dominion has helped us renew that connection. My wife and I plus both our sons (age 17 & 11) LOVE playing this game together. Whether you go in with a fine tuned strategy or just "make it up as you go along" the opportunity to enjoy the game and win is presented. We love that the entire game play lasts about 30-40 minutes, we don't always have an entire day to devote to a game, but we have a half hour after dinner to enjoy the company of our kids. they will be moving out soon enough and beginning their own families. Dominion is a game that everyone wants to set aside what they are doing and play together. When was the last time your kids begged to play a game with Mom and Dad?

I picked up a copy of Dominion hot off the presses after I played it a few times at GenCon 2008 after it was introduced. I was amazed by the uniqueness of drafting cards into your hand by the way of getting money cards and increasing the size of your deck. The fact there were so many combos available to make the 10 types of cards to buy in the box seemed to offer limitless play. But I quickly began to see the cracks in the game.

While there are a lot of cards you can use to make up the ones you can buy to make your deck, they end up being pretty similar and there will be some you use all the time and some you'll never want to use for personal tastes. There will quickly emerge strategies that if you just work to build up your money cards and skip the majority of action cards you'll win >75% of the time. This cuts down on the fun since if everyone takes this route there isn't much to the game, and if you are the only one to do this, you'll find yourself bored as people try to chain actions after more actions to find they still don't have enough money in hand to buy the top victory point cards. This is the crux of why my love for the game has faded.

I time and again find myself bored as the other players take their turn. Since there only a handful of cards that cause you to interact with other players, you essentially all play 3 or 4 solitaire games at the same table. I don't find this interesting and would rather play strategy games, even light ones, that have some level of interaction, even if it just watching where the other player moves.

I have even tried to renew my interest by trying the expansions that have followed almost every 6 or so months after the release of Dominion in 2008. Some expansions offer more to the game (Seaside is probably one of the best, avoid Alchemy) it still comes down to being bored while everyone plays their own solitaire game until the end when you tally your points.

I rated this game a 3/5 and not lower because there will be some, even many, who will not hold the same boredom with this game and will love it. This game is a great light game that plays quickly, teaches quickly, and offers a lot to casual players. For people who play a lot of board games, particularly deeper strategy or Euro games, or even like the Axis & Allies or even Risk type of player interaction, this game may wear thin faster than for others.

Even though I rated it a 3, I would recommend this as a great game for families and casual gamers. I'd also recommend Ticket to Ride (any of them, but Marklin and Europe are probably the best, USA being the first and simplest), Carcassonne, and Settlers of Catan. These games are quick to learn, easy to play, and offer a good casual experience. For people looking for a little more depth and replayability, I'd recommend Pandemic (terrific cooperative game), Stone Age, Ra, Small World (one of my favorites), and Dixit (one of the best party games out there, the artwork is hands down the best). The rabbit hole of complexity and length goes as far as you are willing, but it is up to you to determine your needs of a game. Dominion is a great start, but if you've been playing other games it may be too thin to offer something for you. - Board Game - Eurogame - Card Game - Games'

Womens Watches - watches, womens watches

This is the 4th or 5th watch in this series that I've owned. This one allows for multiple interval timing. Fantastic!

I 'did' the Chicago marathon this past fall. The group that I train with runs for 3 minutes and then walks for 2 minutes on all of our training runs. This watch alternates these intervals, sounding an alarm after each! The buttons are intuitive, making it easy to use even with quite a few features.

The silver and black color combo has held up much better another black and metallic green Timex watch from another line did (The metallic green on the watch face scraped off). The band has openings which is nice (your wrist doesn't get sweaty). Good value. Timex Women's T59201 Ironman Triathlon Sleek 50-Lap Resin Strap Watch

I've uploaded several photos so you can see for yourself why I gave this watch only 1 star. Timex Ironman are my favorite watches, and I have owned several over the years (currently I own the Timex Ironman 30 Lap and it's great -- no problems with it whatsoever). But this one ... such a disappointment and ONLY because the resin strap/band is a piece of junk and the 'paint job' on face wore off almost immediately. The timepiece itself is fantastic. No problems there, but after the nice silver paint wore off, the little loop that prevents the excess band from catching on your clothing split and fell off (not a piece you can find & replace). Then the band started cracking in many places and the problem is not just aesthetic. Eventually it's going to fall apart completely and I won't be able to wear it again. The band is not replaceable. Such a bummer. A great watch but the poor quality band ruins it. BTW - I've owned this watch for 1-2 years and wear it constantly, including in the shower. So I've definitely *used* it, but this is marketed as a *triathlon* watch so I would expect it to be able to stand up to things like water.

The Women's Ironman Triathlon watch is a good watch. It works well keeping track of my laps and timing. There are 2 major issues with this watch for me.

One, the band is not really comfortable. It is made of some kind of rubbery material that makes my wrist sweat! Also, the band is difficult to fasten because of the rather stiff nature of the material. The end of the band wants to keep "popping up" and you have to make sure to slide the loop over it each time. This is an inconvience when all you want to do is get on the track and get moving.

Issue #2 is the indiglow factor. When I push the indiglow to see the time in the dark, the numbers are illuminated but they are illuminated in such a way that makes them difficult to see! I was familiar with a Timex watch that would illuminate the face of the watch - literally flood it with light so that you could easily see and read the information. I was very disappointed with this feature of the watch.

Keeps great time and it is easy to operate - so I give it 3 stars.

Given an opportunity to buy this watch again, I would opt out. I am sure there are watches much more suited to the runner/walker's needs.

From the pool, to the bike, to the run; this watch does it all. Even when not racing this watch is a great daily wear and easy to navigate through all the options.

Multiple time zones and alarms make it easy as a traveler's watch and fits small wrists nicely.

I have been a faithful Timex purchaser and love their IRONMAN Watches and fell in love w/the new sleek design. Now Im not a "Triathlon runner" but I am a "TRIATHLON MOM" With 2 boys ages 2 and almost 4; Running around chasing and cleaning dishes and muddy shoes! This watch is awesome! I however am always finding myself having to buy a new WATCH when my band breaks or tears. I cant find a replacement. Only if TIMEX offered it on their website. The band/strap on this watch is different where it wraps/loops around the buttons on the sides. Love the watch, thou the band will give out first!

I love this watch. It's perfect for swim workouts and aquathlon races -- takes splits, can do intervals, etc. I use a different product with a heartrate monitor for my runs, but can't use it for my swims (since heartrate monitors can't transmit under water, and also, the unit itself is not waterproof). This Timex has an audible chime under water, and it's easy to set the various functions. It stores your workout splits so you can recall them later when logging your workout. I also love the 3 alarms - my schedule is different every day, so I use the alarms to remind me when to leave work for school, when to leave to pick up my son, etc. I had lost my first watch (same model), but never found another watch that had all the features I wanted for a reasonable price. This is my second one!!

I've used this model watch for the past three years of my cross-country career and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's very light and not bulky at all - something every runner looks for in a watch. Along with that, the interval timer really comes in handy when doing timed work outs or when simply doing crunches. The fit is so comfortable and does not cut or chafe. Also, the battery life is outstanding (+ 1 year).

Though, I have had a few issues. I broke off the band that keeps the excess watch strap in place - though that may be my own doing from the roughness of the sports I play. Also, I've had to return the watch for a replacement due to water damage. Sure, it was covered by the warranty - but it's still a hassle to deal with if the problem comes up - though, I've only experienced this when steam gets into the watch or while swimming in high pressure circumstances - like when diving.

That being said, when I lost the watch - I immediately replaced it with the same model. If you're looking of a light, sleek, and versatile watch this will definitely do.

Despite claims, this watch is NOT waterproof. The whole reason I bought it is so I could wear it in the pool. After only a few swims it began taking on water and shorted out. I would NOT recommend this watch if you plan on getting it wet. - Timex - Ironman Watch - Watches - Womens Watches'

Liquid Ink Highlighters

These are pretty good highlighters. They aren't bright like most highlighters, so they look more like markers. Unlike most liquid highlighters, these dry fast, so you don't have to worry about ink smearing onto the facing page.Spring Action Chisel Tip: The tip of the highlighter is chisel shaped, like most highlighters. There is a spring inside the barrel, so if you accidentally press too hard, the tip will adjust so you don't damage it. Zebra's Zazzle Brights Liquid Ink Highlighter Chisel Tip Assorted 10 Pack (71111)

I am a teacher at an elementary school and I like these Zazzle highlighters very much. I personally consider them THE BEST. The very first set I purchased, I used each color multiply times a day and they have lasted me for 2+ years. I just purchased 2 new sets and there is still a touch of ink in the tubes of the older set. They do not dry out quickly like other name brand highlighters. If you are careful and do not press down hard when you use them, the tips do not break down & the ink comes out minimial and does not run. To use them properly, simply highlight or press ever-so-lightly. Not much effort at all. Of course, in any liquid-filled product, you must replace the cap each time or the tip will dry out, briefly, depending on how long the cap was left off. A good shake or a slight touch of water will bring them bring them back to life. They are great highlighters with a long life!!!

These are excellent highlighters. There is however a little learning curve with respect to how you use them. The criticism of some that they soak through the page and blotch so that you can't turn the page until the ink dries is related to a poor application. If you use them with a light and steady stroke, they never bleed through the page; if you use a lingering stroke, a heavy application, or if you start and stop again with a lot of pressure on the pen tip, they will blotch and even soak through. It is only a matter of correct technique to fix that problem. These pens are not very good for glossy pages however; for example, magazine pages don't absorb the ink very well and you do have to wait for the ink to dry. For most books, text books, and typical paper pages, I have never had a probem with them soaking through, and I have used these pens for years (I read constantly and underline something on almost every page). The different colors can be matched, doubled up, or covered over each other to create new colors, and lightly applied they still don't soak though. They also won't work real well as Bible hightlighters though; most Bibles have very thin pages, and the ink does show through. With a light steady application, they go on very bright, don't fade over time, and are pleasing to the eyes. I want my underlining to look good, not messy, and these are the best pens I have found so far, and I have tried a great many brands.

I have been using the blue to highlight text in my class notes, and I love these. They highlight without hiding the text, which can sometimes happen with some colors.

I love that you can see how much ink is left in the pen, a feature I have often wished other companies would adopt.

It took a short while to get used to the spring action, but it really isn't a problem.

Although I love the color assortment, I would love to be able to buy a box of a single color as well, as I inevitably end up using some colors more than others.

I purchased these for work and school over 2 years ago. With consistent use they have only now all run out and I am purchasing a new set. Lots of colors makes organizing easy, doesn't bleed through paper, smudge or leak. They are the bright spot in my work day!

These highlighters come in pretty colors, but even without much pressure, so much liquid comes out while you're highlighting that it pools and dries very slowly. I ended up having to sit in class with paper towels to soak up any extra liquid, smudging a lot of the highlights in the process, and therefore having the product defeat it's purpose. This happened to me with all the highlighters in the pack, so it wasn't just one defective highlighter. Stay away from them!

I've been using the same 5 pack of Zazzle highlighters since 2002, the ink lasts very long and you can adjust how the dark the color is by how much you press down. I bought this ten pack last month to take with me to school and I'm happy to report that nearly 10 years later the quality is the same, but with a much wider variety of colors. Another thing that makes these highlighters so great is that you can use them on thin pages (like in your scriptures) without the color bleeding through to the other side.

I love these highlighters! One day I randomly found some in my office and now I'm addicted. My favorite thing is the spring loaded chisel tip! If you press down hard the highlighter adjusts so you don't ruin the tip, which is really nice. Someone else mentioned too much liquid coming out but I haven't experienced that at all. The ones I have dry very quickly and don't smear. I highly recommend these highlighters! They're the best I've ever used.

Great highlighters. But they kinda show up like a marker, like the other day i used the purple, and yes it highlighted but it showed up purple..i know that kinda sounds weird but most highlighters show up more Florescent!

Also i read a review stating "But even without much pressure, so much liquid comes out while you're highlighting that it pools and dries very slowly" !!!NOT TRUE!!! I have used these highlighters more then once, even on a calender and not ever has any liquid spilled out. I can even write with them, almost like a pen!

But i do have to say, im still wondering if these Zazzle highlighters are actually worth $9?? Im not sure yet, i would probably purchase them again. I have to try the Zazzle gel pens!!

I first used these highlighters in college years ago and was instantly hooked. Now I pretty much refuse to use anything else. They are bright, barely smudge, and come in colors I can't find anywhere else. My only complaint would be that they don't last as long as some other highlighters. But it's not a huge difference, so I'll continue to purchase these.'

Alarm Clock - alarm, alarm clock

I purchased this alarm clock for my 14 year old. We have tried numerous other alarm clocks for her, even the ones with the bells on top that clang. She has slept through them all, sometimes even when they go off for 30 minutes near her head. This year she started high school and has to get up much earlier. The iLuv has woken her up much more quickly than any other alarm clock! I no longer have to get up and drag her out of bed. I would recommend this for sound sleepers! iLuv iMM153PNK Dual Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker for your iPod - Pink

Here is the rundown:

Pros:

+Docked flawlessly with my iPod nano 5g.

+All buttons worked.

+Ability to have auxiliary input.

+Wake up bed shaker is a nice touch. (and it has a very long cord)

+Alarm is a beep that gets louder over time (and can be used in concordance with the bed shaker)

+Can customize both alarms to incorporate different alarm types (ie. Shaker and beep, shaker and playlist, etc)

Cons:

-Sound was absolutely unbearable with any bass (even with ipod EQ settings set to bass reducer)

-Wake up bed shaker is not as strong as I hoped it to be.

-Product "feels" cheap (thin plastic, cheap buttons).

-Time setting is clumsy and difficult, why not just have it sync to the atomic clock (my $15 walmart clock did that)

-There are two bass "holes" in the back that appear to do nothing (I don't hear anything coming from them)

-Many comparable docks have remotes included. This does not.

-The screen does not look like it does in the image. It has a bright blue backlight.

Bottom Line:

This is great if you want an alarm clock with multiple alarm features that will also charge your iPod. You should not get this if you want to listen to music on it.

Why I gave it 2 stars:

I got this so I could listen to my iPod while I go to sleep. The sound quality is so unbearable that I stopped using it. It still has nice alarm features, but is overpriced for what I wanted.

A great concept let down by a few design flaws.

My intent for buying a new alarm clock was two-fold:

1) To enable me to set an alarm which would wake me, without disturbing others

2) To have a way to dim the clock so it would not disturb my sleep with too much light in the room.

Having this connect to an iPod Nano was a bonus.

The first thing that impressed me from the specs on this alarm clock was the bed shaker. Now, take note, this says Bed Shaker - and it truly is. Anyone sleeping on the same matress will feel their skull vibrating almost as much as yours, even when you place the vibrating disc under your pillow. 9/10 points for effort - 4/10 points for implementation

The second thing that persuaded me to this model was that it appeared, from reading through the reviews that the brightness on the clock was settable from 0 (no backlight) to 9 (bright enough to read a book by). This seemed great as this would allow me to have the backlight off for sleeping and adjust it if/when I needed to read the clock... However, the implementation of this is a fatal flaw for me with this product. Let me explain in detail:

a) The brightness change requires you to set a new overall brightness level; so if you are at 0 you click the Dimmer/Snooze button and it goes to 1. To turn the light off you have to click the button another 9 times to cycle back to 0. This is awkward, though is way surpassed by the loud clicking made by the cheap switch which wakes anyone else not wearing earplugs...

b) Insult is added to injury with the design of the Dimmer/Snooze button. Imagine you're sleeping with the backlight off (Dimmer 0) and the alarm occurs - you hit the button to increase the brightness, but it's a joint-function Dimmer/Snooze button... So, the alarm snoozes - and no matter how many times you hit the dimmer/snooze button again, to turn the brightness up to see the time, nothing happens. It appears the the clock is in "alarm mode". The only way to see the clock is to fumble for the alarm off button, turn off the alarm permanently and then hit the Dimmer/Snooze button again to now increase the backlight on the clock to level 1.

I know, and apologise, if this appears like a rant - and maybe my unit is faulty as the Dimmer 1 setting is incredibly bright and disturbing to sleep.

On the brighter side. The iPod functionality works well, even on the new iPod nanos, and the speakers are ok - definitely not hi-fi, but for a bedside table to listen to music whilst reading a book, they are adequate.

Anyway, please take the review as is, and if you we looking to an alarm clock with similiar prerequisites steer clear of this one. I wish/hope that these flaws are corrected and welcome any feedback to highlight better alternatives.

Hope this helps,

I personally don't regret getting this alarm clock, there are some downsides but they are easily negligible.

Pros:

-The bedshaker and alarm is very effective

-The sound quality of the speakers is decent

-The time on the clock is clear

-The alarm clock is multipurpose, can serve as a speaker system for your laptop or computer if you desire

-The radio is pretty good, the antenna is small and can provide decent service

-You can change the brightness of the screen display

-iPods work in general, and this clock charges it

-You can use it without an AC adapter by batteries

-Snooze button is easy to access when you're dead asleep

Cons:

-It is confusing to use at first, you might adjust to the controls

-The buttons are very loud, so you might disturb the other person if you share your room

-iPhone 3G shows up as not compatible for some reason, but you can charge it perfectly

-May cause problems in your iPod if you use sleep

-Bit overpriced

In all, this alarm clock is good, but there are small things that can be fixed. It's a bit overpriced, but I really liked the design which brought me to buy it. Amazon has some of the price slashed then if you bought from the original company. - Ipod Clock Radio - Clock Radio - Alarm - Alarm Clock'
