Wireless Usb Adapter - wireless video, pc to tv

I purchased the older Warpia device that streams video only a few months back and have had a very good experience with the product. It works great streaming Hulu or [...] movies from the internet directly to my TV wirelessly.

Now with this part I am listening to the audio through the TV as well. Streams both the audio and video directly through the HMDI port. There are few tricks you can learn in the instruction manual such as streaming video in Extend mode, enabling Aero mode in Vista, etc to get the video as clear as can be.

Highly reccomeded to anyone who wants to watch PC content on their TV and does not want the clutter of cables going from the laptop to the TV. Warpia Wireless USB PC to TV Audio / Video Display Adapter

I bought this Warpia device on April 23rd. Out of the box, I installed the software and hooked it up to the TV and tried it...Nothing, didn't work. Upon reading the instructions (Yes, I am a man) I learned that the device needs a firmware update to work (Easy to do, online instructions). Make sure the transmitter and receiver are within about 1-2 feet of each other as I didn't do this and after the first attempt to do the firmware update, It failed. After making sure they were close to each other, the firmware update took. I did have a little trouble getting the resolution set properly but this was kind of human error on my part. I did call tech support for help on this and actually talked to an English speaking American, nice for a change. Also, some reviews were saying that the audio cable needed to be hooked up for sound, but if you are using HDMI as I am, no audio cable is needed. I have hooked this to my Mitsubishi 57" Rear Projection TV and it works like a charm. I have had absolutely NO problems with it. I waited over 3 months to write this review as I wanted to see if I would have any bugs or disappointments. NONE! I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews and the trouble people had hooking it up. If you do have some trouble, call tech support and you won't be dissapointed. My laptop sits approx. 25 feet from my TV and base receiver and I have no problems at all. You do need a reasonably good direct line of sight for them, but I do ocassionally walk between them and there is no freezing or anything like that. They do both get quite warm to the touch but it seems to be ok. I am giving this 5 stars because it has enabled us to completely drop DirecTV and rely solely on Netflix and Hulu for our TV needs. (We get our locals from our high speed internet provider for free.) I would highly recomend this to anyone who is looking to a web alternative for TV needs.

I've been looking for a product like this for a long time. Finally any easy way to stream internet content to my TV. Easy to install, took only five minutes. I'm a big Netflix internet fan. Now can stream a movie and don't have to sit in front of my laptop to watch it!

Only downfall, I wish it wasn't limited to having the PC in the same room as the TV.

I followed the printed instructions and in three minutes was playing video from my laptop on the 46" Samsung LCD TV.

Very good audio and video quality, no visible glitches. Amazing - just plug small USB dongle and laptop connects instantly to TV. Real value wireless technology.

I have been using the video only version for a while and loved it. But had to use Blue Tooth Speakers to send audio from PC. Just bought and set up the full version with Audio and love it even more. Gotta love the one connection (HDMI) for both the video and audio. And the audio is great. Turn it up just like DVDs and the sound is perfect. I even started listening to my iTunes wirelessly from my PC to stereo system with this when not watching videos, etc. Sweet. Didn't even waste the video only version. Brought it to my office and using it there with projector now. Very cool for presentations, meetings, etc.

I love horse racing but our cable company does not offer either of the TV racing channels; however, the internet does (Youbet or Twin Spires) and this puppy is just what the doctor ordered. Does the trick for the intended purpose. The only issue I experienced is that the range is not as advertised. The specs say up to 30 feet, but my experience with two TVs in two separate locations in our home says 20 feet "line of site" max. Best used while sitting on your easy chair in front of the TV. Hopefully Warpia can pump up the output on newer versions. I did notice that the adapter on my laptop gets very warm with extended use, so that may have something to do with the range/power issue. Regardless, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Before I got this unit, I had a VGA cable running from my laptop, across the living room, to the TV. My wife wasn't happy with that at all. Then I got the Warpia and set it up with the base unit connected to the TV (Toshiba Regza) with a VGA cable and audio cable. It worked great. I used the PC-Input setup on the TV. However, I had to make sure the VGA resolution of the laptop was compatible with the allowable resolution on the TV, otherwise, no signal. Then I bought a cheap HDMI cable and was able to do away with the big VGA cable - and I didn't have to fuss with the laptop video resolution. PLUS, now that I had the audio-out from the base unit free, I routed the audio cable to my stereo. Now I can run anything from Netflix or YouTube to the TV, and my stored mp3s to the stereo.

I'm running a Toshiba laptop about 12 feet from the base unit at the TV. The laptop is running on a wireless network also. I'm competely wireless. Strong signal, no dropouts. My wife is happy too.

I saw this item while looking at other video streaming products on Amazon and thought it looked like a great way to use my laptop and send video to my TV. I received it about two weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. Upon receiving the package from Amazon (shipping time was great as usual) I unboxed it and set it up right away. I thought I had everything done correctly but I couldn't get it to work. I rebooted my computer, unplugged the TV and still couldn't get it to work. I called Warpia's Tech Support line and we happy to talk to a real person and not end up on hold for some crazy amount of time. The Tech Support Rep was very helpful and walked me through the entire set up. I am not proud but the issue was that I had the power cord for the TV base plugged into the audio jack by mistake. It says clearly that the audio is green and the power is black but I didn't follow the instructions. User error. With that problem fixed, the unit fired right up and I was able to stream soccer highlights from ESPN360 to my TV. Pretty cool. I have used it with a number of different sites and it is working for me.

One thing that I like about Warpia is that I can have my settings configured so I can use my laptop as my primary screen and the TV as my secondary screen so I can still do other stuff while having something else play on my TV.

Samsung Tv - samsung lcd, samsung

I think this is a great TV. I was torn between C350, C530 and this. I ultimately went for this because it was the sweetspot for me between price/performance.

Pros - The picture is excellent, my friends have Vizios from 2008 ranging between 26" up to 46" and in comparison, they look dim and unsaturated compared to this model from Samsung. 720p/1080i or downcoverted 1080p looks excellent, the picture quality at 1366x768 looks sharper, brighter and more colorful than other budget 32 inch 1080p models I seen. You can only notice stairstepping/pixels if you sit less than 2 feet away. Which with a TV this size would be way too close. I sit 6 feet away and edges are smooth (I have 20/20 vision.) OTA HD with bunny ears/loop antenna looks flawless. Upconverted 480p content looks great for it's format. The amount of options to play with are great. But, even so, this TV looked excellent on it's factory default settings. This TV also has multiple sound settings such as Movie and Clear voice modes. By the way, the speakers are hidden and loud, I have it set to 5-6 volume (out of 50) when using the PS3, 8-10 when watching TV, with very good sound quality for it's wattage.

Cons- 8ms refresh rate, many might not notice but, going from a CRT (SD) to an LCD (HD), it was expected. In games it's not really noticeable but, news tickers and other scrolling text it's noticeable, but, this could be related to the TV being 60hz. Another thing is that it's not true 1080p. 1080p content looks excellent however, it's being displayed at 1366x768. This is a subjective thing, at 6 feet away, 1080p and 1080i/720p look the same on a 32". But, if you want to future proof yourself, get the C530/C550. The stand is fine but, you may have to tighten the screws down until the they stop turning to make it stable. 480i non converted SD channels/inputs look so-so.

Synopsis - Besides 480i (SD), excellent picture quality for it's class, even better than comparable 1080p sets from other brands. LCD refresh rate will take a few days to get used to if this is your first HDTV.

It was easy to set up and plays cable and DVD's beautifully.

Relatively compact size.

It has a very special feature for those that are hard of hearing: there is a sound setting called "clear voice".

It appears to raise the treble information relative to midrange and bass, and also, makes the distinctions between sounds much sharper. For those hard of hearing, who usually have good bass/midrange hearing but rolled off treble, this will be a revelation. No more annoying your neighbors because you have to blast the TV in order to understand the voices. Also the TV does seem to play closed captions about as well as it can.

My aunt is using closed captions on cable TV and standard DVD playback and it works great. We had trouble using CC on a new upscaling DVD player using HDMI but that turns out to be a problem with the HDMI specification; HDMI relies on the source to decode CC and put the words on the screen, whereas older cable formats and resolutions like composite carry the CC signal distinct from the picture to the TV for decoding. This appears to be a major step back but it's not the fault of the TV. If you Google "cc dvd hdmi" you will find a LOT of conversation on the net about this problem. No one seems to have a solution.

This is a great, very nice looking HD LCD TV for a very good price. I originally bought the 27 inch Samsung 1080p at Costco, but found it a little small for the space. I was a little hesitant because of the 720p, but I found that this TV actually has a better picture quality than the 27inch 1080p, and its the same price as I payed at Costco (once you factor in taxes and state fees that you do not have to pay at Amazon). The size is perfect, the picture is great (with an HDMI cable) and the sound is also much sharper on this TV than the one I returned to Costco. I even linked my Roku to pandora and am playing it through this tv...sounds great! My one and only complaint is that the remote control is unnecessarily large. Otherwise...this is a great TV for a great price.

I bought this as a gift for my mom but I now watch it also. I only run standard cable to it but the picture is still rich and clear. My mom doesn't see the benefit of a HD signal but I think she'll come around when I partner it with an HDTV cable box. As good as the picture is what I was even more impressed with was the clarity of the audio. It really makes it enjoyable to watch a movie or show. Kudos to Samsung for including such good sound with their TV's. I had to return a Hitachi 47" LCD because the sound was so weak and tinny. 25% Volume is quite sufficent with this model. If someone has optimal picture settings for this model, please reply. Settings for my Panasonic 50"G10 transformed it.

Update-4/28/2010. I played music from a flash drive and it was great. Great speakers once again. Next up-Avatar

I bought this TV in October of 2008. About a month ago the TV started turning off and then back on after I turned it on. Suddenly it stopped turning on altogether. After a little research I found this is not uncommon. Samsung knows about the problem but doesn't care since it's just out of warranty. There is no recall. Big bummer. Do I pay $200-$300 for repair or just buy a new one for $400-$500? Stay away or buy an extended warranty.

I did a lot of research before buying my Samsung LN32C450 32-Inch LCD HDTV. Samsung is clearly top-ranked in the LCD TV market. My new TV met my high expectations, and so did the seller's service ... delivery time was excellent and exactly as promised. Hook-ups to cable, satellite receiver, and DVD player were easy. I wanted a more attractive upscale looking whiteboard for the fridge, and this fit the bill. The problems? The magnets stick onto the cardboard on the back, but the plastic rim is thicker than the magnets, so the magnets don't touch the metal of the fridge. They still mostly work, but it makes a much weaker copnnection so the board will fly off if the fridge door is slammed. If you buy this you should mount the magnets with some double sided foam tape which will push them out further. Also the pen holder sticks out past the rim in the back so it doesn't sit well. After owning this whiteboard for one day, I was really unhappy with this whiteboard. The surface of the whiteboard has been thoroughly scuffed up and discolored after only writing/erasing on 4 times! The back of it is made of thin cardboard with a black made in china ink stamped on it poorly thrown together with low quality material. Very disappointed.

It's a nice litle board, my nephews and I try to play picture nary with and that guess what I'm drawing game, I found out I'm not good at drawing at all. The magnets are strong enough to hold the board in the fridge. I like I do recommended.

Cinderella - role play

My daughter loves this dress! It's hard to get her to take it off. So far she has spilled lots of food on it and colored it with markers. All the stains come out when I wash the dress. It has gotten a few pulls in the fabric because she is pretty rough with it, but it is holding up really well overall. Great dress at an affordable price! I bought this to give my 4-year-old granddaughter on a recent visit and we had to act out the whole Cinderella story five times in one weekend! Her mom and I played the female roles, and her daddy, of course, was the prince. I also bought her "glass slippers" from Disney to complete the costume. I can't tell you how thrilled she was. She's very petite, so I was concerned if the dress would be huge on her, but it was on the big side of okay and she should be able to use it for a long time. As other reviewers have said, the material is soft and stretchy. We put her ballerina tutu under it to make it puff out. If you want a Cinderella dress, this is the one to buy.

Based on the other reviews of Little Adventures dresses, I was pleased to find a washable princess dress but this dress has not held up. After the second washing, the bodice tore along the seam. I mended it but I can already see other places where the seams are coming undone. Also, the skirt is a very light, whispy material which easily gets little pulls in it. My daughter likes her hand-me down Disney dress better because of its weight (feels more royal), so I guess I'll be hand-washing that one some more. - Role Play'

Like the other review has stated, I had the same problem. I had purchased four $100 cards for my boys stockings for Christmas and all cards and a zero balance on it. After many calls and getting the run round I had enough of this company and also threatened with a lawyer I got most of my money back. I would never buy from them again. With how fast the internet is and even the US mail system, I was so very disappointed with my purchase of a GameStop gift card through Amazon. It took over a week before it finally arrived. --For a last minute person like me, not a good choice. Next time, I'm just sending a regualar Amazon gift card. It's instant.

You pay $25 and you get $25. Can't get ripped off with this item. It took longer then expected to come in the mail. I mean, com'on. Put it in an envelope...address it and send it. Why would it take two weeks to get to me?'

Android - watches

This watch was pictured in a men's magazine with all things red(shoes, etc) and it stood out in the group. Android has a number of unusually styled watches and I am hoping my son will like this one as much as I do. As it is a gift, I am not sure of its wear and tear, but it is striking in its appearance. The dial may be difficult to see in low light or at odd angles. The airplane on the "radar" feature is actually part of the hour hand in the smaller face, the light moving around with the seconds which is fun. It seems like a great casual watch. I love love love this watch! One little disappointment is that the color is not the deep red (a dark crimson or dark scarlet is how it looked to me) I was hoping for, but more of a brick red (as in the very slightly orangey color of a brick). C'est la vie. Still a great watch, and still a fine color of red.

A truly unisex watch for people interested in something a bit out of the ordinary. Bold design, colors, and shapes make it appealing to both. It is small enough to fit on a woman's wrist without overpowering, but is not at all "girly" so it can really be unisex. Win!

Very attractive watch, with a nicely supple leather band. Quality tells.

Inside the radar sweep dial (blacked out except in that little triangle which is clear and allows a window to what is below) is a red line dial, and a little red airplane. So it gives you something to watch for, and this bizarre thrill when you actually look down in time to see the airplane. Yeah I know, small minds...

That said, I have no clue what the dial or airplane do - if they just reflect the hour and minute hands, how do I wind them when I can't see them through the blacked-out window? Meh, I don't really care, I kind of like the randomness since I get this happy little jolt when I see it, and if I knew when it was coming I don't think I'd enjoy it so much. - Watches'

Stainless Steel - ana-digi, stainless steel

I was looking for a watch with both analog and digital outputs. I found this one that fit the bill. It wasn't very expensive so if it bit the dust at work I wouldn't mind too much. The only problem I found was the dial window. It's plastic. Soft plastic. Unfortunaly only a week after buying the watch I already had several scratches on the face that made it more difficult to see the face. If the dial window was more resilient I would be very happy with the watch and give it 4 or 5 stars but as it stands it gets a 2... barely. Great watch with many great features. I love the size of the digital layout and the metal band is durable. To resize the band, push out the pins from the side that looks like screws.

Pros: Accurate, good looking, multiple alarms, timer, and stop-watch.

Cons: Metal band latch sometimes deforms, making it hard to latch. You have to bend it a certain way to make it work. The analog hands sometimes get out of sync with the digital time. You can fix that easily, but annoying sometimes. Lastly, at night you can't use the watch features. There is a light, but it occupies a button used for setting alarms and such. So if you are setting your alarm, you can't see the display. Timex has a night feature that, once enabled, turns the light on with every button press. My former watch had it and it was a very handy feature.

Great for the price.

I lost my casio edifice watch and decided to get this watch since it had all of the features that I needed (time zones, alarm, display date/day, etc.). The watch arrived the other day and so I thought that I would contribute my initial thoughts since I found the other reviews here to be useful.

This is a very solid and good looking watch. The display is easy to read with large numbers/letters and a bright back light, much better than the casio that I lost (and half the price!). Setting it up was very easy and it is comfortable. I prefer a metal band to the resin bands on the other version of this watch. The band is solid and easy to adjust (wikihow has a brief article on adjusting the band called "Adjust-a-Casio-S-935L-Watch-Band").

The watch is thicker than most of the previous watches that I have had. At first I was concerned about this, but now that I've worn it for a while, I don't really notice.

I haven't had it long enough to notice scratches on the watch face.

I like the watch and would buy it again.

Strap is either too loose or too tight, because the links are a little too big. Its hard to adjust at home and needs to be taken to a watch repair shop.

Material used for construction of the body is cheap painted plastic that gets scratched very easily. The dial window is claimed to be "Mineral" but it certainly doesnt feel like that to the touch, and again scratches very easily.

Seems to be showing accurate time so far, but then casio electronics are generally reliable.

I would go for a more expensive casio model in the future which have better construction.

I bought this watch looking forward to the fact that it had both analog and digital options along with a metal band. I received it and not a week later, it died. I thought that it must have been the battery and took it to get the battery replaced. The technicians replaced the battery and nothing happened. The watch had literally died. I looked to send it back because it was still in the 30-day return timeframe, but since I had worn it and because I had thrown the packaging away after it worked for a week (about the day before it died) it did not meet the qualifications of being returned "unworn and in the original packaging." I do not recommend purchasing this item due to its unreliability when it comes to actually working.

My watch just died today after 4 years of use, so I decided a review was in order! This watch has everything you could possibly want - analog + digital, time zones, timer, stop watch, multiple alarms, lights. Feature wise it is perfect. However I do think some of the specifications are wrong. The band is far too light to be steel, and it's not magnetic, so I'm inclined to believe that it is aluminum. Also I'm not sure how true the watch face is a mineral material, as mine got many scratches over the year. If the watch had better build quality, I would get another.

Watch is very nice looks expesive easy setup 5 alarms are great help track work schedule. Light works great. Light wieght which is good for everyday use. Would have gave 5 stars if it was all metal and the glass was not plastic. But can't go wrong for the price.

I got this product hardly a month ago. I am very much satisfied with this product. It provides a professional as well as a fancy look. The only part that am disappointed is the watch glass. Poster

The poster quality it top-notch and beautiful; you can see every detail of Chris Evan's face. It's nice that there aren't any dates or movie information on the poster to detract from the actual image.

The product itself is professional, but I have a few quips about the shipping. PosterRevolution has great customer service, however, their packaging for unframed posters is lacking. My first shipment was damaged by USPS, but they sent me another one, free of charge. It too was damaged during shipment. As a seller of art prints myself, I know from experience that regular thin poster-hugging tubes and triangular tubes still are more likely to be damaged during transit. A good solution is to have a small tube in a larger tube with room for it to move around. More costly, but less chances of damage to the poster in the long run.

So if you're getting an unframed poster, just be aware that it may be damaged by the carrier. The company has graciously given me a refund in the end and I tried to fix the creases of the poster using an iron and heavy books. Still noticeable, but not as obvious as before. Great Vintage Hat

It was a bit too big for my head, but the arrival time and condition of it was excellent. Also, even though it's a tad big for a girls head, it folds in at the bottom so it doesn't fall off and still looks okay. Another good point is it matches with everything because it's black. I've now got five Newsboy hats from e4hats and this one is the bomb... I brought it because of the reviews left by other buyers - all are just a little tight and this one fits exactly. The elastic at the back holds it securely, yet adjusts for different head sizes. And the hat looks so cool at a great price. My next-door neighbor girl says she loves it. You will too...

I purchased this hat after reading mixed reviews about it. I needed it for a Team Rocket Grunt cosplay (from Pokemon), and this was priced well, so I decided to go ahead and risk it.

The hat that I received fit me well, which had been one of my main concerns. After reading the other customers' reviews, I have determined that these hats are inconsistent in size (some are bigger than others) and are not adjustable as the description claims. Luckily, this was not a problem for me.

Another thing that was brought up in the other reviews was the quality of the material. I have to agree that it is made of very cheap material which easily picks up lint. However, unless you are holding the hat and looking closely at it, you can't really tell that the material is crappy. It is perfectly suitable for my costume, and I may wear it out on occasion. It is not bad to the point where I wouldn't want to use it.

Overall, the hat isn't too bad. It looks nice and fits me well, and I would not hesitate to wear it if I felt like it.

The black hat, supposedly the same hat as the white one I purchased at the same time, is a full inch smaller across the top. It is also advertised as 100% cotton when the lining is definitely polyester.

Great for the price, and it was the perfect look for my female team rocket grunt cosplay. However this hat is not for people with big heads. Overall I have a somewhat small head and this hat is still a snug fit.

I bought this for a costume this Halloween. It's a touch too tight on me, but I've always had trouble with hat sizes. It looks good, it's clean, pretty much exactly what I was expecting. Also arrived quickly.

The hat was arrived on time, however, the quality of the item is questionable. There were strands of thread sticking out in places, and there was glue on the top from the little button that holds it together. It was also creased due to the way it was shipped. This item was very cheap, however, so I suppose you get what you pay for.'

Binding - gbc, binder

The comb binding machine has a nice appearance and is very functional.The only problem that I could see was that the instructions weren't as clear as they could be.It took a few times around before I could figure out what the instructions meant. GBC C55 Personal CombBind Binding Machine (7708900)

I bought it last year and only used it 7/8 times and it doesn't work anymore! I have a presentation tomorrow and I had to rush to the shops and buy an other binding machine. I spend £50 and it is so much easier to use. I got a cheap one the first time around and it was cheap! Spend the little bit extra money and get one that works! the instruction are also pretty rubbush! Today I got the Starlett 90 from Fellowes... much better.

Purchased this machine a year ago on sale (at MyBinding.com) for less than $20. For the price paid, it works great - for light duty only. It only punches 5 sheets maximum of regular (20#) bond paper. If using heavy card stock (110#) and acetate covers, do ONE at a time. That being said, it can take a LONG time when making big booklets. Once you practice several times with it, you can get the hang of punching and opening/closing the combs. A few times, I have put too much in to punch and wondered if I was going to break it since it is made of plastic (from China), but didn't. You also need to remember to keep punching ALL of your stock the same direction for the best fit. It can adjust to 3 different paper sizes. There is a very narrow, long plastic cover on the underside that collects and holds the punched paper 'holes' which is easy to open and dump over a trash can.

COMB INFO:

Plastic combs are sold depending on how many sheets you want to put in them. I would recommend getting one additional size larger combs than the sheet recommendation for easier constructing and use. Smaller 'combs' are harder to use and fill than the medium to larger sized ones. The teeth of the opener have to be watched on the smaller combs to make sure all are open - in order to accept the punched paper before releasing to hook together. You cannot punch & put a comb on at the same time on this machine - it is two steps.

This machine assisted me in constructing 40 - 70 page journals. Fortunately, I had a month to do this project and all were pleased at the outcome but would prefer a better, faster comb binding machine. This can help you make nice looking booklets or reports (vertical or horizontal) that open flat and you have a wide variety of colors for the plastic combs and covers; so you can be a little creative.

Is is definitely for personal projects as the number of sheets (5 maximum and has to be thin, not quality paper) makes it's a little time consuming to bind your work. But it is a great price, but I was still a little surprised how high it was. However, it does not take up too much space for storage.

Apart from the hole punching and the manual opening of the spine, the application's punching also adjust for letter, A4 and US cover. I loved it has A4 too as this can be used anywhere in the world. Neat.

I use it for music score books that do not have spiral bind and note how easy it to compile a different music book and reuse the spiral. So green and much better than getting the large plastic binders. - Binding Machines - Binding - Binder - Gbc'
