Ipod Touch 2g Case - speck, ipod accessories

If you've been waiting for a good case for your new ipod touch 2g than your wait is over. First, I had the belkin wave silicone case and it's good but not worth $25, maybe $10. This case by speck, is definitely worth the money. It fits the ipod perfectly, it has a nice grip, and feels sturdy enough to take a fall because of it's extra thick corners. It does not add much bulk to the touch so it's still looks cool in your hands. My suggestion on this product is if you don't have a case buy this, if you have one, consider buying this one, you will not regret this purchase. Speck PixelSkin Rubberized Case for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black)

I still wouldn't want to drop the ipod -- this is not a hard case (they're pretty bulky), but this slim rubber case protects from minor bumps and feels good in the hand. I coupled it with an ikross screen protector and now I don't worry about everyday wear degrading the look and function of my favorite new toy.

I've owned dozens of iPod cases over the years and this without question is the best one for the iPod touch 2g. Several things make this case superior. 1st and foremost, if you sit it on the dash of your car and turn a corner too sharp it won't go flying out the side window. The volume, power and home button are all covered and raised so their easy to find and adjust. Removing the iPod is a breeze, it fits snugly but also stretches. The sides and back are treaded so it feels more secure in your hand. Make sure and buy a good screen protector, it finishes off a percect product.

I bought this to use at the gym until I could settle on an armband, and I am very pleased. Last week, while exercising on an elliptical at the gym, I decided to play TapDefense in addition to listening to music (LOVE that you can do that - my old iPod was a 4gig Nano, and with this iPod Touch I feel as if I jumped ahead in time three generations). My back wasn't happy with my game playing, as slumping over to look at a handheld device for twenty minutes isn't an ideal position for one's back to be in. Nevertheless, my addiction to the game (currently the top free game on iTunes), told me to ignore the potential back spasms and continue.

Needless to say, I dropped the darn thing. A few people laughed. I almost went into cardiac arrest, as I was dead certain the iPod would have something wrong with it.

I got off the elliptical - no simple feat when worried about one's most prized possession (or, at least, one's new favorite toy) - and when I plugged my headphones back in was delighted to hear music playing! Still wary, I "touched" it on, and sighed with thankful relief when the screen came back on.

A week later, and it's still going strong.

Now, though, I have an armband for it, and don't give in to distractive obsessions. Still, I use the Speck PixelSkin when I'm not at the gym. If it can survive a six to eight foot fall in that skin, it can survive just about anything else I could subject it to. (As I knock on wood.)

I agonized over a case selection ever since buying my 64GB gen 3 iPod nearly two months ago. I had not yet used it because I was afraid I'd break it or jack it up with scuff marks and scratches if I used it without a case (and likely would have). I originally searched for a case that offered screen protection as well as body protection. After failing to find a decent one I finally decided to trust the positive reviews on the Speck. Boy am I glad I did! The quality is top notch. The case arrived in quality packaging and slipped very easily over my new touch. There was no pulling or need to force it in. the fit was snug enough to inspire confidence in the safety of my device but not tight or stressing at all. For the screen I just picked up a pack of clear overlay screen protectors (which ironically took much longer to install than the Speck Case). The case did not increase the bulk of the unit much at all. The iPod is still nice, slender, and small, case and all. It has a nice solid rubber feel and I no longer feel like a clumsy drop is inevitable whenever I pick up my new iPod. Although the case covers the side and top buttons, there are moldings to indicate their location and it doesn't interfere in any way with operation. The bottom ports are unobstructed and easily accessible. The case (so far) doesn't seem to attract fuzz or dust as I expected it to (given the material). I highly recommend this case if you're searching for a decent case for your gen 3 (or older) iPod Touch.

One nice thing that nobody else has mentioned yet is that this case is molded well so that pressing the volume button and sleep button on the iPod touch 2g is made easier by the case being on. I think the case does exactly what you want it to do, but obviously it does not protect the screen if you drop the iPod. It is really handy because it's a little tacky. One other thing is that I use my ipod as an alarm clock and I have to remove the ipod from the case because the case tends to dampen the sound of the built-in speaker a little bit. Overall it's a very nice case. I think it's more comfortable to hold and less slippery with the case on than without the case. - Speck - Ipod Touch - Itouch Accessories - Ipod Accessories'

Ipod Accesories - ipod cable, cables

Ive only had this cord for 30 days and already doesn't work. It has come apart at the end of the cord going into the plug. It lives in my car and is almost never touched so I don't think over use is the issue but just a poorly made product. It worked great for the first 30 days though. 3.5mm Stereo Male To Male Cable 1 ft.

Works OK, but the connection is poor. Any slight wiggle causes the right channel to fluctuate. A firm press back into the jack combined with a careful removal of my hand causes it to work well until the next time it is wiggled.

I have a number of other cords that work much more reliably with the same devices.

I brought this cable for my car so I could listen to my ipod. This length is perfect for the driver and the front passenger to adjust the ipod. People in the back won't be able to reach up and change the song or what not.

No problems with it! Works great!

Unlike many that I suspect are looking at this product, I am not using it for audio. Instead, I am using this as a replacement cable for a set of Radiopopper Jrx Studio triggers for my Canon flashes. Radiopopper charges a very handsome sum for its replacement cables. These cables cost 75% less and work just as well. Build quality seems to be very good. For the price, I decided to buy two of them.

This short patch cable is functional and works as intended. But would it have killed the manufacturer to use a heavier gauge wire? It feels cheap in your hands because the wire gauge (diameter)is so small. Probably no line loss due to shortness of the cable. Plugs are large and easy to grasp. Just can't get over the small diameter of the cable.

I bought 2 of these short cables for use in connecting my iPod to the stereo in my car and in rental cars that have auxiliary inputs but no iPod integration. No matter what I am trying to connect, different iPods, different cars, the connections are problematic and require a lot of wiggling to get just right so that any sound actually gets transmitted. Avoid these. Buy from a different vendor.

If you like being ripped off....go to RadioShack. If you're patient, like saving money for something that works exactly the same with the same quality as those cables in RadioShack...then you're smart like me and you're purchasing something that costs much cheaper than anyone else!

A lot of people are giving bad reviews because this is a cheap product that breaks easily.. Um yeah... it costs $1.50 INCLUDING shipping... What do you expect? Gold plated? I bought a coule of these so i could use them in my car. I bought 2 because knowing the cheap price for these, I understand they won't last forever.

While using them to plug my phone into my Car's AUX IN, it works great. I can play music from my phone with no problem. If I move the phone around, the connection gets a bit wonkey and you get some static that can be pretty loud (but that's because I blast my music). Simple solution? Put the phone in one place that you don't have to move it to change a song. Been working fine for me! - Accessories - Ipod Cable - Ipod Accesories - Cables'

Svga Monitor Cable - 25 Ft - monitor cables, vga cable

I ordered this cable for my home theater projector. I can see absolutely no signal loss whatsoever. It's rather thick and well coated to avoid any signal degrading effects on the image. The "chokes" (round things near the ends of the cable) help, too. I am very satisfied with my order and would happily order another cable from this company! RiteAV - SVGA Monitor Cable - 25 Ft.

I wondered what a 25' video cable would do to the signal, therefore the image reaching my 19" VGA-only monitor. I also wondered how this cable -- which seems to be rated for different resolutions -- would work with my Mac and my intended 1280 x 1024 screen. And most importantly, how would such a cable -- purchased at such a bargain -- perform.

Glad to report that everything is 100%. I already have a "pigtail" made by Belkin that converts the DVI signal to standard VGA, so all I had to do was connect this cable to that, then run it around furniture to my monitor and direct-connect it to the monitor.

Worked first time, every time.

Very pleased with the cable and Eforcity's fast service.

I have no doubt that this would be a good, inexpensive solution for delivering the video signal from a Mac G5 to High-Def Television via the PC port found on nearly all of them. Then I would use one of Eforcity's optical cables (TOSlink) to deliver the digital audio from the Mac to the Optical In of the Flat screen TV for all-digital sound from the Mac. I already own a TOS link optical (fibre-optic) wire, purchased months before this.

We use this cable in a portable church setting. We wrap it fairly carefully in circles and do not create any pressure points when packing or using. However, about 4 months later, the cable became unusable - initially, it changed colors to all yellow, red, or blue, and after a while, it would freeze an image on the projector. We tested with multiple cables, and this was the only one that did so. My assumption is that due to its length, somewhere in the middle the cable became damaged, causing the image to become distorted.

I ordered this cable to use my laptop via the VGA jack to be able to 'stream' online episodes of many of the TV episodes onto my LCD TV through the TV's VGA input.

This is the best cable yet for this purpose. It has a 3.5 mm jack on both ends, one end plugs into the laptop headphone jack, the other side plugs into the LVD TV's 3.5 mm input jack for sound from the laptop.

Works great, black rubber coated cable is quite flexible and fits well on all jacks.

Great product and price. 5 Star product

Cable is well constructed. I've run a MacBook to projector with this cable and couldn't notice any signal degradation in the picture. Also used this cable from a distribution amp to LCD displays and cable performed perfectly at 1024x768.

I also bought this RiteAV cable in the 50ft length and that one works great too! - Computer Cables - Vga Cable - Monitor Cables - Pc To Tv'

Probiotics - now foods, probiotics

This si one of the best pro-biotic blends on the market. just one a day will suffice all your good bacteria needs.

before it was only available as powder, which was a little icky on the taste buds, but now thats its also in caps, there is no excuse to keep your flora as healthy as possible!

NOW maintain their excellence in quality with yet another product i have tried

Took this to India, never got sick. Took 2 a day. It's actually hard to find probiotics that don't need to be refrigerated. At home mine are refrigerated. 1 billion is not a lot, so when you are home take a higher dose, maybe 5 billion or more per day to get really healthy digestion. I'm buying another bottle now to take with me for a month long trip to rural China. Thanks now.

I had horrible stomach cramps and constipation for about a week. I suspected the balance of 'flora and fauna' in my GI tract was off so I went to my local health food store looking for something. After one pill the stomach cramps were gone. Constipation disappeared after the second pill. This is great stuff for stomach problems.

This product is a very good product. A local health food store recommends this one over other probiotics. My husbands been taking this faithfully for at least 2 years if not longer. I say try the product. It is good for your overall health and well being!

Acer Aspire One Case - acer aspire one case, targus netbook case

The main problem with this laptop backpack, as with others on the market right now, is the location and design of the laptop sleeve. The laptop should have a compartment unto itself with room for a few accessories and maybe a folder. At the very least, in a backpack with dual "main" compartments, the laptop slot should be in the smaller section either toward the front of the pack or in a crush proof section by itself in the rear. By either method the laptop is not constantly banged by books and other materials as one moves, and it does not bear the weight of the materials when the pack is laid on its flat side. Unfortunately, Targus missed the mark in all these regards. The laptop sleeve is attached to the very BACK of the pack in its LARGEST compartment. So when you put the largest and heaviest items in that section (e.g. text books that don't fit in the other "main" compartment), each time you walk you can feel and hear the items in the large compartment banging against the laptop in its sleeve (in the same compartment) at the very back of the pack. Furthermore, when you lay the pack down on its back, you can just see the weight of the whole pack bearing on the helpless laptop in its sleeve. The sleeve, by the way, has no rigidity, is very thin, and has no closure flap to keep out dust, dirt or paper clips. Other problems include shoulder straps that are too thin on the padding, and not even a single strip of reflective trim on the pack for safety. All in all, Targus -- generally a leader in this field -- has put out a poorly designed, inadequately field-tested, and unjustifiably expensive backpack that will put your laptop at risk. Targus Sport Clamshell Case Designed for 10.2 Inch Netbooks TNC101US (Black)

Targus TNC101US Sport Netbook Case for up to 10.2-Inch Netbooks (Black/Grey) This is a great case for my ASUS Eee PC 1000HE netbook. It is a perfect size and well padded to provide great protection for the contents. Despite its small size, it also has enough room for the power adapter plus cord, a Logitech V450 Nano Mouse, a LiteOn eSAU208-31 Slim Line External DVD Burner and the power adapter and cord for the latter. With some careful packing, I can also include the Targus slimline power inverter and cables in order to use the netbook in my car or plug it into an airline seat on longhaul flights. Only gripe, my case arrived without the advertised padded shoulder strap and with 4 smaller and inadequate carrying straps. Targus responded well to my complaint and quickly sent me a very nice padded strap to replace the missing one. I purchased this Targus case fom DataVis.com but do not bothering to call Datavis if you encounter any problem, they are just an on-seller and will only refer you to Targus, anyway. I can strongly recommend this case from a functionality perspective but it is still too early to comment on its durability although it seems pretty sturdy and I would expect it to last well. It looks attractive too and the black and silver exterior perfectly complements the Asus Netbook it contains. The case is designed to allow you to actually use the netbook while in the case without needing to remove it, if you wish, which is great while flying. Highy satisfied with this purchase and at the advertised price, it is an unbeatable value.

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One (6 cell version) and ended up spending a surprising amount of time looking for a case for it before tripping across this one. I am happy to report that it is a perfect fit. Moreover, it has a full size external zipper pocket that is roomy enough to hold both the Samsung external optical drive I purchased for the machine and the battery charger without adding any appreciable bulk. The detachable shoulder strap is the option I particularly wanted since I often do not have a free hand when traveling. The only mystery is why Amazon does not list this case among the suggested cases for the ACER machine since it is an excellent choice.

I found this case in Staples. At first I did not like the way it looked, very bulky. Bought it anyway, it was the only netbook case in stock. Fits the new Aspire One with large battery perfectly. There is a lot of padding, straps and room to store additional supplies, etc. I plan to keep the bag now. It is what is.... nice workmanship, nicely put together, I even kind of like the bulk.

I have had the Targus rolling notebook backpack for almost 1 year and use it every week to carry my laptop, work papers, lunch, snacks, etc to the office. I commute by train with 10 to 15 minute walks through suburban and city streets on either end. I've taken it through rain and snow and it still looks new and keeps everything dry. It's taken a lot of abuse over this time but the wheels still roll smoothly and it is easy to get over curbs. Other reviewers mentioned inadequate laptop padding but I've found that my laptop is well padded against normal bumps and jostles. It holds quite a lot and is good for day trips. My only somewhat negative comment is that if you are petite, you will not be able to comfortably use it as a backpack when fully loaded. Larger individuals will not have a problem with the weight when using it as a backpack and pulling it is no trouble regardless of your size. - Acer Aspire One Case - Asus - Netbook - Targus Netbook Case'

Esme - esme, hard drive case

It fits like a glove on a WD My Passport Essential 256GB && 320GB. Size: H6.12" x W4" x D0.5".

Good for protecting portable hard drives from dust, scratches, etc. However, I would not recommend this sleeve for travelling purposes. Western Digital My Passport Essential 320 GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive WDME3200TN Neoprene Slip Case

I bought this originally for my 1tb toshiba canvio and it fits perfectly snug! even though i do own a wd mypassport essentials 500gb i do not use it as much so i originally ordered one and decided to get another if i liked it. And I did so i just ordered another one right now! i was wondering what that little elastic band was for in the pictures and later figured out it works perfectly to hold the usb cable with it snugly too! so it's convenient contrary to other reviews. Also the other review that mentions that it should have had a lip to fold over or a zip to close, i do kind of wish it had it too, but since it fits so snugly i don't think there is a need for it! infact i've used it to my advantage by placing my hdd in the case so that i can plug in the wire without having to remove the hdd out the case! i think it works better for the toshiba canvio than my wd mp passport essentials because it's a more snug fit and my wd tends to drown inside the case and would probably slide out if shaken hard enough (although i don't know if it's because i've kept my canvio in there for so long it might have stretched it?) Really good quality too, infact i feel that i can throw it on my carpeted floor really hard and it will still be protected and stay in the case! (again that's for the toshiba canvio, it's a bit loose on the wd but not much)

ps disregard the 320gb they are all the same size physically irrelevant to the digital size of it

This is a fine case, but it is not Western Digital Brand. It fits my Western Digital brand 500GB hard drive well, but--as the pictures show--it is ESME brand. I wish there were space for the USB cable inside the case (rather than laced through the strap on the reverse), but other than that it does the job and fits snugly. - Hard Drive Case - Carrying Case - Esme - External Hard Drive Case'

Canon - canon

This is the calculator for the person who wants to know what the payment will be on their car loan or what the value of their CD will be in two years, without knowing any of the details of time value of money (TVM). TVM can be complex unless you use it every day; on most financial calculators, some amounts have to be entered as negative numbers and you have to know whether payments are applied at the beginning or ending of the interest period. This calculator relieves you from having to know those details. Want to know what your car payment will be? Just enter the amount of the loan, number of months financed, APR, and you've got it. Want to know how much your CD will be worth in 24 months? Just enter the initial value of it, the APR, the term, and you've got it (you specify compounding period, like quarterly, when you first setup the calculator, then you don't have to worry about it anymore).

The form factor of the calculator is great. It is a clamshell design, and when folded measures 4" by 3" by .5". It fits in your shirt pocket with much room to spare. The display is second to none; huge LCD readout. And it steps you through each calculation via easy to understand prompts.

The battery is one CR-2032 and should last 2 years if you use it one hour per day, according to the manual. The manual is easy to follow and complete, although I wish the font was a bit bigger.

See the Canon web site for a complete description and specification; it does several types of loans and savings plans. It calculates days between any two dates also. And it has a large 12-digit display, which is very easy on the eyes.

All in all, a neat gadget. Canon FN-600 Financial Calculator

This is a basic financial calculator, it calculated mortage payments and compound

interest very well. It does not show mark up and few other functions. The calendar and time clock is a nice feature. Good handy little calculator.

It is an attractive size, light weight, and useable with a small repair and user manual download. If it had been expensive I would drop the rating to 2 stars but for under $8.00 not bad.

I removed the battery activation tab and entered a number, then a function, and when I started to enter the second number the first one flickered and returned to zero. The cause was a tiny flexing of the case and the reason it matters is that the battery compartment lid does not put quite enough pressure on the battery. I inserted a sliver of foam between the case top and the battery and all is well now. The English manual starts the first few pages in English and then switches to Spanish. Thinking I had this under control I went back home a grabbed the Spanish manual. OOps the middle of the Spanish manual was still Spanish! If yours has this short coming here is the link: [...]

Otherwise it is an OK and very inexpensive calculator that looks clean and is a quick way to calculate payments, CD and savings values (compounded) and TTS (Telegraphic Transfer Selling / buying rates). I'm sure I will never use the TTS functions. - Canon'

Gluten Free Dairy Free Gfdf

I've been gluten free for ten years. I'm o.k. enough that I can slip up a little and only get a little sick: what that means is that if something isn't entirely gluten free, it will make me sick for hours, not days. That's made me tolerant of food that isn't entirely gluten free--I'll eat the not-entirely-gluten-free food for a couple of days, and then start having a reaction, not realizing that is what is happening.

This is only sort of gluten free. You might be able to eat it a few times with only a little bit of distress, but then it will get worse. If you are a celiac on a long-standing gluten free diet, you will slowly get sicker again.

And, your risk of getting colon cancer later in life will go up dramatically, which is apparently what happens to celiacs who eat little bits of gluten throughout their lives. Just because it's not really making you sick, doesn't mean it's not doing damage.

Avoid this, and don't feed it to celiac kids.

Edit: On the gluten-free listservs there are discussions of people getting sick from this. Erewhon has confirmed that they run oat cereals on some of the lines, so if you are a celiac who can't tolerate oats (which I am) this is bad stuff.

Also, they make this in a facility that processes wheat, so it may be legally gluten free (20 ppm or less), but not actually gluten-free. Mixed facilities can have 10 ppm wheat in the air alone.

Gluten-free Rice Krispies

This is a great tasting cereal, but it is NOT gluten free. It took me months to figure how my family kept getting gluten because I trusted the "family" owned Erewhon brand. Guess what? They are no longer family owned. The corporation who makes Skinner Raisin Brand owns them and processes raisin bran in the same plant as the supposedly gluten free Crispy Brown Rice cereal. If avoiding gluten is important to your family's health, then avoid this cereal. It is definitely cross contaminated with gluten.

My name is Annelies and I work for attune foods, the manufacturer of Erewhon Crispy Brown Rice- Gluten Free cereal. Our Erewhon certified gluten free cereals are made in a peanut-free, tree-nut free and dairy-free facility. They are run on a shared line with gluten and we abide by good manufacturing practices to help ensure against cross-contamination. This consists of the machinery being sanitized and thoroughly washed down before the cereal is made. Then after it is made, the cereal is tested to ensure it is less than 20 ppm of gluten. We sent the cereal to a separate facility last fall to double check the levels at which it tested and found it to be less than 5ppm of gluten. In November of 2010, our Erewhon gluten free cereals were certified gluten free by GIG. I hope this helps clarify our current practices as I realize there are reviews dating back many years on amazon.com and thought it would be helpful to update interested consumers of it on amazon.com.

I'm a cereal fanatic, but I've got celiac so I have to choose gluten free cereals. I bought this as a substitute for Rice Krispies so that I could make my favorite cookies, which require that type of rice cereal. The pieces in this cereal are a bit bigger than Rice Krispies. I'm not sure if it was the sweetener or the brown rice, but the flavor just did not appeal to me at all. So I didn't even bother trying to make my cookies. I actually threw out most of the box, which I never do, because every time I tried eating it, it just didn't taste good. I tried it with regular milk and almond milk (I thought maybe the almond milk would flavor it better, nope). I did not have any sort of gluten-related reaction to it. I just didn't like it, and neither did my non-celiac husband.'

I am the librarian for a college that offers a digital filmmaking program. We bought the second edition for our library and our students and the faculty actually fought over it. I know for a fact that several bought the book for their personal use. The author has updated a valuable resource that is easy to understand and use. I really don't think there is anything else like this book. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone interested in actually making movies. We are adding the new edition to our collection ASAP! Killer Camera Rigs That You Can Build: How to Build Your Own Camera Cranes, Car Mounts, Stabilizers, Dollies, and More!

This is by far one of the most helpful books to a no-budget filmmaker-but only if you actually build the projects in the book. There are other plans on the web to build cranes and the like, but Dan goes out of his way to make sure that you can actually find the materials he lists. I've found that obtaining the material is by far the hardest part of the process, which can feel more like a scavenger hunt than shopping. (Many materials can be found at Home depot or Lowes, but Mom and Pop hardware stores seem to be much more helpful and get into the spirit of things when making the project. (People at Home depot acted like I was a crazy when I tried to explain what a Steadi-cam or a Car mount was.....)

The projects end results are sturdy, and you can feel safe attaching your expensive DV cameras to. Having equipment really expands your creative possibilities, and you can get shots you would never have thought possible on your budget. - Video Production - Crane - Cinematography - Video Camera Stabilizer'

Photo Scanner - portable scanner, portable

I am an avid photo taker. I have thousands of photos from the past 40 years. A couple of years ago, I looked for something you could feed old photos into that would scan them into your computer. Nothing was available but then, a few months ago, I found the Kodak 4x6 Personal Photo and Negative Scanner (P460) at Amazon.com and ordered it. When it arrived I used the "quick start" directions and hooked it up to my computer. Within minutes, I was feeding old photos through the device and they were appearing in a photo file on my desktop. I fed photos through the thing all day yesterday. When I finally got tired of loading photos, I had scanned nearly 500 into my computer. The rate that this thing operates is amazing. You place the edge of the photo in the feed slot, it gives you a couple of seconds to readjust, then the motor quietly feeds the photo through, scanning it into your computer. Then, a couple of seconds later, the photo appears in the photo file on the desktop and the machine is ready for another photo. I tested it to see how many photos I could load in a minute and fed between six and seven during the sixty second period. The scanned images were often times better than the wrinkly old photograph I started with. The only thing that slowed me down was that I labeled each photo as it appeared on my desktop. The Kodak 4x6 Personal Photo and Negative Scanner (P460) did everything the ad claimed it would do and more. I was totally satisfied with it and could not say enough good things about it. Kodak 4x6 Personal Photo and Negative Scanner (P460)

This is a wonderful, portable scanner. You could sit and watch tv, and scan your old photos on your lap, its ultra light. Other scanners do more robust projects. But if you just want to get a bunch of your old 4x6's on an sd card...this is the way to go. It does one picture at a time; but quickly. The quality was great.

The compact nature of this machine is what attracted my buying it. Set up was easy, but by the 3rd picture scanned, there appeared a thin white line down the middle of the scanned photo. Then I scanned another picture, it was OK. Another picture was scanned and there were two vertical lines. Some pictures were scanned with good result. Looking at the originals, there was no indication of why this would happened. Read the instructions again, and try the "calibrate" card, but did not helped.

Then I gave up scanning photos, so I tried the negatives. The result was acceptable, but needed some color correction. The machine prefers to scan the images into the SD card, and "supposedly" is able to scan directly into the computer with an USB and the software provided. I scanned more negatives into the computer, then later when I tried to do that again, it only was able to scan into the SD card, despite what I selected on the software screen.

So this was returned to Amazon.

this is a great little machine! I had such fun using it, it is very easy to connect to a computer/laptop, and save all pictures that are scanned. I will be looking for one that will scan larger pictures in the future.

I had hundreds of photos that both my Grandmother and my husbands Grandmother had left me when they passed and now they are safetly backed up on computer files and look great and it only took a few days thanks to this little gadget. It was so easy to use and when I go visit my Mum in March I plan to take it with me and scan all her photos as well. I couldnt be happier with it!

Wow! I am not one to buy electronics online, I like to touch something, play around with it before I buy... but I did this time. I am very pleased. I have thousands of old pictures that I want to add to my digital library & this is perfect. There is not much loss of resolution from the original to the scanned version and the portability, weight, size speed & convenience makes this great to take anywhere. All you need is a place to plug in and an sd card to store your memories. I can go though my mother's old photo albums in less than a quarter of the time I would with my laptop & traditional scanner. So far I have scanned over 600 pictures with no issues and it is so easy that my 6 year old could use it. It is about the size & weight of a stapler, I can put it in my purse & go.

Now, the (not so) bad; if you have something smaller (3x5 or wallet)or a portrait (vertical) shot, make sure you line it up with the guide. A couple of times I have rescanned due to the first try not 100% straight. If you have a picture that was blurry to begin with it will look worse scanned (but that is true for most scanners).

Other than that, I am happy with this scanner. I will update if things change over time & heavy usage.

After looking as several variants of this product from Kodak and Pandigital (the maker of Kodak's models), I chose the P460. It was very easy to set up, very quick, and very easy to use.

I ran a few pictures through without the included sleeve as the sleeve seemed inconvenient and I actually hadn't found it yet. It was tucked into the French part of the user's guide. Anyway, the first picture was fine but I very quickly started to get white strips in the images. I am guessing that dust gets trapped in the mechanism and you get a white line where the dust blocks the scanner's view of the photo.

I then cleaned the scanner following the manual's instructions and used the sleeve. The lines went away. Reasonably happy with the results, I set about scanning a whole bunch of photos. As the P460 scans onto the included SD card, I couldn't see the results. After a few dozen, I put the card into my computer to see how it was going. I was very disappointed. Slowly dust had accumulated in the sleeve. Even though I couldnt see the dust, the scanner could see it and the photos got increasingly speckled with white spots and curvy lines of lint. And then the white strips returned!

I also found the quality of the scans to be irregular. Some scans looked great, others looked all washed out. Some scans were mottled and fuzzy when the original photo was not. So I took a photo and ran it through the P460 and my regular flatbed scanner and then I compared the results. The flatbed scanner's quality was hands down superior. Not only was there no dust accumulation problem, the overall quality of the scan was much better. The P460's image comes over looking "flat" and obviously scanned. I was scanning at 600dpi in both scanners, but the image file size from the P460 came out 1/3 the size as the flatbed. The compression takes out a lot of the nuances in the colors of the image leaving a poor result. Another complaint is the the edges of the photo would still need to be cropped as the automatic job that is done isn't perfect and often leaves a white or black edge.

I am sending this back and now have no solution for scanning about 1500 photos other than by going the slow flatbed route :( - Portable - Portable Scanner'

I Would Recommend It - lg vu, lg vu car charger

I ordered two car chargers for my and my girlfriend's lg phones. One worked for a day and the other did not work at all. The red indicator light turns on when you plug it in the outlet but turns off when hooked up with the phones. I should have returned it but I can't find the invoice. Quite disappointing LG Vu CU920 Cell Phone Car Charger / Vehicle Charger

Piece of junk. Fell apart as soon as I plugged it in. Couldn't get it back together. The end that plugs into the phone jack wouldn't stay in anyway. Would cost me more to send it back than what I paid for it. But hey, for $0.01, what should I expect. Bought much better quality at Walmart for $9. You get what you pay for.

It is wastage of money in my case...

I bought this charger approx. on 29 Nov. 2010 & got it around 4 Dec 2010. I wrote a very positive review too. But now when I am using it, I found that this is crap product. There are two major draw backs with this product,

1. The front point from where we can charge, slips out from the power plug with in few seconds (to be sure that this issue I used an adapter also, which I got recently which can be plugged in to power socket and has two output, same experience when I used adapter too. Then I got another power charger, which I had ordered for my other cell and that works perfectly.).

2. Second end which is plugged to my cell phone is bit small & that also comes out even if someone just touch the connecting wire.

So both end practically are so loose that with in few seconds both ends gets disconnected. Unfortunately, I started using it late and since one month is passed I can not return this to vendor back.

And writing this review to help other customer, first of all do not buy it; even if you want to buy, use it first and then please write the review.

i was wondering why this item is so CHEAP - now I know - cause it's crap!

this thing broke after only 1 use! the part that inserts into the phone fell into the charger. any attempts to get it out was not successful.

DO NOT BUY!

Purchased this thing for .01 cent. I guess that's all it was really worth considering the stupid thing broke apart pretty quickly. It's not durable at all, pretty CHEAP quality, but you do get what you pay for. - Cell Phone Accessories - I Would Recommend It - Lg Vu Car Charger - Lg Vu'

Pc To Tv Cable - pc to tv, computer cables

This cable was what I needed to hook up my laptop to my big screen DLP HDTV. It has VGA males at both ends and also a stereo mini headphone plug, just the type that plugs into the headphone jack of my laptop and input of my TV. RiteAV - VGA Cable with 3.5mm Audio - 25 Ft.

I looked all over for cables to connect my PC to my television, but could only find either cables without the sound connection or cables that cost twice as much or more than these for a much shorter run.

I have friends that have had the same experience so I turned them on to these.

So, I would definitely recommend them. They do exactly what they are supposed to do at a great price.

The clarity is just what you'd expect, great. Of our four computers, none does true HD, so having a SVGA is just fine, though I'd be willing to make a fair sized wager that having a SVGA cable has no impact on HD output. One of my computers (with a nvidia card) correctly identified the TV and the TV's native resolution and outputed accordingly.

If you're comparing this to a HDMI cable, the only two issues with the cable have to do with the equipment capabilities on either end. Mainly, the computer I use with the TV doesn't have the correct resolution where a HDMI cable is going to output the correct 1080. Secondly, the TV will only take a stereo input with the PC input thus won't pass surround sound from the TV to the receiver. (this is a big issue, if directly connected from PC to receiver all of the sound will be off by the time it takes the TV to properly render the video image. Drives me nuts.)

Pros:

Not HDMI.

Ridiculously cost effective.

Every 'not mac' I've seen has a SVGA out.

Cons:

None with the cable.

I bought this to hook my HDTV up to a computer across the room to be able to stream internet source video to the TV. The picture quality is HD with my video card. I use the built in speakers on my tv, so the audio is just fine for my needs. It would be nice if the audio had a pass through jack on one end of the cable, but for the price, I can't complain.

I got this with high hopes of simplifying an installation to a large screen TV used for presentations with a built-in sound system. It worked great for video, but I had to use a seperate audio cable. While the audio cable was dandy in theory, there was cross-talk from the video and the audio quality was quite poor. When I used a seperate cable, much much better audio quality, but now two cables to keep track of. Sigh.

I've used another 10ft cable (with ferrite beads to prevent interference) to send video from my Lenovo to my Sony Bravia. I got this one because I needed a much longer cable. Used for about a month so far I rate it as follows:

The screws don't seem to catch as easily as previous cables I've owned so it is annoying if you are constantly hooking and unhooking.

Video quality seems just as good as other cables I've used. This is what really matters to me, so I continue to use the cable despite a few odd quirks.

Audio quality is noticeably noisier than my previous cable but tolerable. I'm not sure if that is because this cable does not have the anti-interference ferrite beads or what.

One very interesting thing about the audio is that if I am streaming from a website like [...] and the video player is not full screen it makes a lot of noise but once I full screen the video player it does not. I don't remember this happening with my old cable.

Purchase the VGA & Audio cable separately. I purchased this and it has horrible buzzing crossover from the VGA to the audio cable. I'm now having to purchase the audio cable to keep it away from the VGA cable interference. You may as well just get one of each from the start. The VGA cable works OK on its own, but you won't like the audio at all! - Pc To Tv Cable - Computer Cables - Vga Cable - Pc To Tv'

Mens Grooming - clipper, grooming

Decided to look for a new beard and mustache trimmer when my trusty old Norelco Maverick TX-450 finally gave up the ghost and just quit running. If this sounds like I'm slamming the product, I'm not, as I had owned this basic battery-operated trimmer for over sixteen years - far longer than I ever expected it to last when I first got it. I could have probably fixed it (again) if I disassembled and cleaned it out, but decided to see what might be new on the market. This was primarily used as a mustache trimmer, but after using it for a few years with a handheld comb, was able to do a fair job with my beard.

Was amazed to see how many models were now available, and how many companies were making them. After doing some research (and asking my barber), ended up getting the Philips Norelco G370 All-in-1 Grooming System, and must say that so far this seems to have been a good choice. My barber had suggested that I stay with the more basic (and more economical) trimmers, as most from a particular manufacturer have the same heads as their higher-priced models, and it was the cutting head itself that made a trimmer good or bad. He had suggested that I consider some of the Wahl and Panasonic models, but also had a personal preference for the Philips Norelco products, as they seemed to last... which I had also experienced.

This trimmer has a great array of attachments, and each of them is quite useful, performing exactly as expected. It has an excellent beard and moustache comb/guide with nine locking length settings, as does the hair clipper comb. The little mini-shaver attachment is good for cleanup, and acts like a miniature micro-screen electric razor. Was cautious about the nose and ear trimmer, but after reading the instruction sheet, found that it was easy to master.

The online comparison chart between the various Philips Norelco trimmers is wrong here, as this one does come with a nylon travel pouch. This model features:

* Six attachments that can be rinsed, making it easy to clean

* Nine length settings with the key trimming attachments

* Self-sharpening blades, no oil needed

* Charging stand with storage slots

* Travel pouch (the listed specs are wrong)

* Two-year factory warranty

Took the time to read the instruction sheet that came with this trimmer, which was detailed but easy to understand. The instructions had indicated that the trimmer shouldn't be left with the unit shouldn't be left charging full-time, which I found to be a nuisance at first. When setting up the plastic charging and attachment stand, found that if it was rested gently above the charging plug, the green charging light was off, so that eliminated that problem. Charged it for the ten hours suggested before using it, and it has worked fine, and a charge last for weeks. The stand itself looked to be a bit flimsy at first glance, but while handling it when I was setting it up, found that it was sturdier than I had first thought. All of the attachments fit easily in the proper slots.

Must note that this unit came in one of those irritating clamshell packages. This one was more of a nuisance to open than most because it was difficult to see if the contents were going to be damaged when cutting through the plastic with a combination of scissors and a sharp knife.

Pros:

- Excellent selection of attachments

- A single charge lasts for weeks

- Charging stand holds everything quite well

- Good ergonomics, nice feel to it

- Solid; seems to be built well

- Detailed instruction sheet

- 60-day money-back guarantee, 2-year warranty

Cons:

- Horrible clamshell package, difficult to open

Since we all have different things that we look for in trimmers like this, thought that I might share some of my findings with others here.

Also considered the Philips Norelco G380 All-in-1 Grooming System, but the only difference between this and the Philips Norelco G370 Trimmer was that the G380 came in a gray color and had a travel pouch... which also came with the black G370 trimmer.

Looked at the Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer which was considered for its hair deflector and vacuum, but the price difference was enough to make me go for the more basic G370 trimmer.

The Wahl 9918-617 Groomsman Beard and Mustache Trimmer seemed to be a good one, and its ability to operate cordless via battery or plugged into charger sounded good, and it had good reviews. This was a very close second choice.

The Wahl 9877-500 "The Goatee" Advanced Dual Blade, Rechargeable/Cordless Beard, Goatee & Mustache Trimmer had some interesting dual blades, but the Philips Norelco G370 had more attachments, and the model that I looked at made me shy away from this one.

Had also considered the stylish Panasonic ER2403K 5 Position Beard/Moustache Trimmer. This one features wet or dry trimming, five length adjustments and an excellent price, but since it uses two AAA batteries, decided to rule it out.

In the end, it was my past experience with the Philips Norelco products that helped make my choice, and I don't regret it. If I can get half the life of the sixteen years of service that I got from my original Maverick TX-450, then I'll be happy. - Clipper - Trimmer - Grooming - Beard Trimmer'
