Aviator Helmet With Goggles - aviator hat, goggles

the hat was shipped by ultrafino and has a note to try the hat first without removing the tag to make sure it has a good fit and if not, to return it. but, it didnt need to...

the hat fits perfectly and got good reviews from friends.

it has a high quality feel and the fabric used certainly look great. PILOT TROOPER Brown AVIATOR Leather Hat Men's 7 1/2

Nice and warm and covers the back of neck better than I thought it would. Measured my head and bought the approiate size. When it came the fit was great. After about a week my head shrunk. Wish I bought the next smaller size. Still with the stretch I think it is a great hat. Live in a windy area and the leather stops it. Now to figure what to do with my nose.

I just received this hat by USPS. I had some troubles getting my hat, because the USPS don't update the order status often so i missed the first time and i had to order a redelivery twice. But, i finally got it and it looks amazing. A reason why i choose this seller is because they have details about the size which is hard sometimes to know. Even with that help my hat is kinda of small for me. But it looks great and i love it. If you are going to buy it i totally recommend you to buy it. - Steampunk - Hat - Goggles - Aviator Hat'

Rechargeable Batteries - laptop battery, dell battery

Just a little tidbit for everyone using laptop battaries(specifically LI-Ion)

Most battaries that favor a constant charge and recharge capacity work in two different forms. Your standard Ni-Cd or nickel cadmium battery is a slow drain slow charge type battery, a complete drain and recharge is a standard that most of us know. Not the case with Li-Ion, the lithium battery, and newer Metal Hydroxide batteries work better and last longer using the 100-40-100-20-100-40-100-40-100-20% recharge plans. On your initial charge of 100% charging you let the battery drain to 40% and then recharge to 100% and then the second depletion to 20% and back to a full recharge cycle. This helps maintain the battery condition and in some aspects the "Brain" of the battery so to speak is set in motion and maintains battery health througout time.

I myself thought the cycle was complete depleation of the battery on each recharge which actually shortens the life of the battery.(learn something new everyday)

Another item to remember is that when you plug in your laptop, and the indicator says fully charged, the battery is still being used in most cases and recharging. A good note is to remove the battery while in use of a power outlet and set aside until going mobile. This will also help prolong the battery. Hope this helps anyone who may be having to replace batteries often.

(P.S.) also good for cell phone usage (have had my phone for 4 years with no problems in keeping a full charge of battery life for at least 2 days, havent replaced the battery yet)

Enjoy :) Laptop Replacement Battery for 312-0428, 0UD260, KD476, GD761, Inspiron 1501, Inspiron 6400, Inspiron E1505, Latitude 131L

Hi All,

I have been a great fan of all products and customer reviews provided at amazon. This is the first time that a product that had 17 4+ reviews failed miserably. The battery seems to be not recognized by Dell. Once I put the battery in my Inspiron E1505, on booting the laptop, i get the warning message stating

"Warning:The model number of the primary battery can not be recognized by Dell

The battery would not be charged."

I spent almost 2 hours trying to resolve this issue, upgraded my bios from A03 to A17 but still nothing changes. Either all the 17 4+ reviewers were affiliates of the seller and are bogus or my case is a one of scenario. Whatever be it, I am highly dissatisfied by the product and would appreciate if anyone knows of a valid solution for the 50$ spent on this item.

In spite of Amazon's product title, this battery is not compatible with my Inspiron 1505. The 1505 does not recognize this battery, and it does not charge. Save yourself the aggravation, and avoid this product.

I read all the favorable reviews about this "Laptop Replacement Battery" and bought this product on September 10, 2009. I received it via USPS on September 24th. The battery was about 62% charged when I got it. I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, and I had checked before buying that this battery was compatible with E1505.

Now the problem.

The battery is not recognised by Dell at bootup. I upgraded by bios, with the same result. After the complete charge of the battery was drained out, i have tried charging it, and it does not charge at all.

I think I have been thoroughly duped. I bought this for $51, and I now see that the price has been reduced to $39.

I am going to figure out a way to return this product and get my money back. A complete waste of time, and waste of money.

Save yourself $50 and don't buy this piece of crap.

The laptop battery arrived promptly with USPS priority mail.

I left it charged fully over night for about 6 hours.

It functioned for a full 3 hours before getting down to the 10% recharge level. The usage was heavy 2 hour disk and CD drive work as I was installing web cam software twice as I goofed it up the first time and had to unload the software and load it again. Last hour was email and web usage.

The battery performed better than expected. The battery meter at one point indicated that it had 5+ hours left. I am sure that would be just web usage.

Great deal versus the Dell $150+ price tag.

This battery is compatible and works well with the Vostro 1000. Instructions are confusing. I simply installed and followed good battery practices - completely charged the battery, completely drained the battery, then repeated.

UPDATE: One year later and this battery is still working like a champ! :)

--------------------------------------

I've needed a new battery for my Inspiron E1505 for several months, but just didn't want to bite the bullet and spend nearly $200 buying it from Dell. On a whim, I thought I'd check Amazon. I found this and saw that most reviews were good, so I took a shot.

I've had the battery for a little over a month now and it seems to be working well. I'm very glad I didn't spend the money buying a Dell battery when this one works just as well for 1/4 the price. Even if it doesn't last as long as a manufacturer's battery, it won't be that heart-breaking to lose $50 bucks.

The only VERY MINOR complaint, if you can call it that, is that the indicator lights on the battery itself (showing you how much juice is left when you press the button,) doesn't seem to work. I shaved off one star because of this, but it's really not a big deal to me.

This battery was received as advertised and it's fit and performance was and is as promised. The price was right too. Am using it now as I type this review. It is the same battery with all details except not having the Dell logo on it. - E1505 - Laptop Batteries - Dell Battery - Laptop Battery'

Raw Foods - raw foods, raw

I based my purchase of this book on the reviews listed here; however, I fear they may not be a good representation of this culinary book.

I agree that the book is full of beautifully photographed and mouth-watering delights and include detailed recipes to exotic looking meals.

My perception from a raw foodist point of view is that whist these raw food recipes require no cooking, please expect a lot of preparation time, particularly days in advance. Many dishes require a dehydrator, which apart from being an expensive piece of equipment, does require dehydrating for 6-12 hours.

There are also uses of heated foods (such as maple syrup) but the authors suggest strict raw foodists to try other ingredients. I also have a concern with the use of a lot of salt (the authors say they love the coarse nature of it in their recipes) and nut butters, which both ultimately are not a good thing to have in large proportions, whether it be via cooked or raw means. There is also mention of a lot of specific types of vegetables and greens, which is not easy to get a hold of by the general public.

The book is certainly written by talented artists of food, but from my point of view, a lot of the recipes (but not all)are beyond the typical householder.

If you are wanting to spend some creative time in the kitchen, finding exotic ingredients, then this exploration will lead you into culinary passion. But if you're looking for raw food dishes to whip up after work, you will have limited choices. I hope this gives the book a more rounded overview for those intending to purchase. Raw Food/Real World: 100 Recipes to Get the Glow

I completely love good cookbooks, to be inspired to try new dishes and tempted by the photographs. This cookbook (or un-cookbook!) does not dissapoint!

Throughout the book are beautifully photographed pictures of Matthew and Sarma, their restaurant and of course the food! A recipe might be great but if it has no photo, or yet even worse a bad photo then Im not usually compelled to try making it. Every picture in this book makes my mouth water! Even meals made with ingredients I dont typically love are tempting me from the pages.

The recipes are clearly written and easily understood. The process for preparing the food is also explained throughout the book.In the back of the book is a special section for locating ingredients, whether easy or hard to find.

Special chapters focus on tools, techniques and the why's of raw foodism. Also chapters on cleansing, organic living and dealing with friends and family about your new way of eating.

Throughout the book are Matthew and Sarma's personal stories and comments. These make the book fun to read and as though they are speaking to you from the pages. It's not just a cookbook, but almost a journal of sorts and we get a sneak peek!

I have read a few complaints about the recipes in this book using expensive machines and taking too long to prepare. But I dont find this a problem. Ebay has given me many a good deal on dehydrators and blenders, Im sure you can find a deal there too!

But the key to any successfully run kitchen whether restaurant or home is being prepared. And that certainly comes into play with raw food. Unless you want to eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables as they are out of the fridge then you need to make an effort. Other raw cookbooks who claim to give you recipes in 10 minutes or those without machines may be fine, but I wouldnt want to eat them very often. Without using a dehydrator or soaking nuts and seeds you wont get any variety in texture as far as moisture content. Simply plan out your next weeks meals and make your grocery list. I like to prepare items such as cookies and cereals at the same time to let the dehydrate on the weekend ready for the week. And while some recipes require you to think about what you want to eat tomorrow, they are well worth the effort.

Who knew you could enjoy so many delicous foods on a raw food diet? You will find delicously tempting recipes for cereal, maccaroons, pizza, samosas, tacos, ice creams, smoothies, juices, apple cinnamon crepes, cocktails and more!

I am in LOVE with this book! Thank goodness for these two wonderful chef's and their creativity for raw foods!

Buy it......you WONT be dissapointed!

I've been "raw" for a long time now and, as a professionally trained chef, I'm always thrilled when a quality "living foods" un-cookbook comes out. When I first picked up Raw Food, Real World and thumbed through it, I put it right back on the shelf. It struck me as incredibly egocentric and self obsessed, overflowing with glamour shots of the authors. While I appreciated their insights into the living food lifestyle, I don't care about their relationship or uber-hip, trendy New York life. Americans tend to be celebrity obsessed and I'm sure many folks will just LOVE this aspect of the book. For me, it was a turn off. I'm interested in the food and recipes, not Matthew and Sarma (who, it turns out, aren't even together any more... so much for all those glam photos and cutesy anecdotes).

Raw food is suddenly "en vogue" and I do appreciate the attempt to elevate healthy cuisine beyond the realm of dehyrated patties. The food shots speak for themselves... could we skip the celebrity aspect, please?

It took a couple more browsings of the book on subsequent visits to the bookstore to get over my initial judgments. I tried to focus on the recipes, themselves. Unique. Flavorful. Upscale and refined enough to serve to discerning non-raw dinner guests. I appreciated the actual food photography and I finally decided to buy it. Apart from the Matthew and Sarma glamor photo shoot mayhem, it's a great collection.

As with most raw food that rises above salad, everything takes time to prepare. You'll find little in this book can be thrown quickly together for dinner except some soups, salads and smoothies. Special equipment is needed (dehydrators, juicers, etc) and the ingredient list is decidedly geared towards "foodies" who have access to a really diverse farmer's market. The average, busy homemaker may throw their hands up in despair.

Still, if you're ready to expand your raw repertoire (even if you're just starting out), there are some excellent offerings here. As a chef, I feel there's just enough complexity to the dishes to make them creative and interesting without being overwhelming to prepare (from a raw foods point of view, that is). You'll have Matthew and Sarma staring you in the face on every other page but, if you can get over that, the recipes are delicious.

Netbook Computer - 16 gb, sd card

SDHC CARDS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SD DEVICES. YOU MUST HAVE A DEVICE THAT SUPPORTS SDHC TO USE SDHC CARDS. SD CARDS ARE NOT THE SAME AS SDHC CARDS.

Numerous incorrect ratings are faulting SDHC cards for not functioning properly. It is very apparent that the buyers are not selecting the correct product for their devices. This problem includes the SD card reader devices - users complain they can access the SDHC cards while the cards are in their device but the card ceases to function in their PC reader.

I fault the Sandisk consortium that agrees on design and standards for SD cards. When the SDHC card was developed the consortium designed it with an identical physical appearance (minus the HC logo) to the standard SD cards - knowing full well that the tech is not reverse compatible. I also fault users for not paying closer attention to their purchases. Most SDHC outer packaging I've seen notes that SDHC cards are not compatible with straight SD devices - different manufacturers just make it more or less prominent on packaging.

Additionally, the primary manner in which SDHC cards are rated, by class, is very misleading. Class (Class 1, Class 2, Class 4, etc) dictates a minimum write speed rather than a range. The SDHC manufacturers tend to omit the actual write speed while advertising the card class - which may be very low or high compared to the indicated class rating. Capacity is the typical consumer focus for many users but there are many interested in actual write-speed performance. This dictates whether or not the card throughput will bottleneck and slow a device - especially important in DSLR cameras and HD cameras where the device will simply slow or stop functioning until the card catches up.

The Class rating system creates unusual situations where cards rated in lower Class can outperform cards in a higher class. Thus the off-brand companies will advertise a 16gb card for a fair margin cheaper than Sandisk or Kingston equivalents. However, the latter (Sandisk & Kingston) products will perform significantly better in use because they both write faster despite similar class ratings. Off-brand SDHC cards are fine so long as the associated device doesn't demand faster performance and the user does not mind suspect quality control.

This PNY product works adequately and can keep up with my Canon 450D/XSi full JPEG burst to about 40 consecutive photos at 1/2000 shutter. RAW format fetches 6-10 consecutive photos on the PNY outpacing my Sandisk Ultra II (Class 2) by about 2-3 photos - expected results. However, the 450D has a limit of 3.5/sec for RAW burst which may now be my limiting factor. I may try the Sandisk Extreme III 30 MB/s at a later date once the price comes down.

Buyers with more demanding devices (such as Canon 50D, 7D, 5D, etc.) may wish to look towards a faster card. PNY Optima 16 GB SDHC Class 4 Flash Memory Card P-SDHC16G4-EF

This SD card is for devices which are capable of using the HC standard which greatly increases the speed of read and write operations. If you don' know for sure that your device (camera, pda, etc.) uses that newer standard instead of the older SD card standard, hold off buying it until you know for sure.

That said, it has worked perfectly in my new Panasonic DMC-FX50 digital camera. Four gigabytes is a LOT of storage to have on a tiny card for your camera or other device. It allows me to shoot nearly an hour of VGA quality video from my camera or shoot over one thousand 10 megapixel photographs.

Since we feel we can never have enough storage space for our digital memories, that's fine with me. At this very low price, getting this card from a major manufacturer is a tremendous bargain.

Recommended.

I have a love/hate relationship with PNY. I've always been enamored with their prices, going back to the days of the GeForce4600 Graphics cards (they were one of the first vendors on the shelves). But they must cut some corners as far as QA is concerned. The plastic housing on all three of these 8GB cards have issues when inserting/ejecting from my Canon HF10, PS3 and Wii. The size of the card is slightly larger than the receptacle. I have the same problem with a Transcend SDHC 16GB card. Odds are, both PNY and Transcend purchase from the same OEM.

I have an 8GB SDHC card from SanDisk. I've never had physical size issues with that card.

I have no complaints as far as speed is concerned. Even though the card is branded as a Class 4 card, the HF10 rates it as a Class 6 and sustained transfer rates are in the 12 - 15MB/s range.

I can't speak to reliability. So far, I haven't had any issues with data retention, but then, I don't use these for long term storage. Nor would I ever recommend anyone use this class of flash for **any** long term storage purposes. That's what tape, CDR and DVDR are for.

PNY, although slightly less well known than Kingston or Transcend, makes some very fine SDHC cards. This one is no exception. At 32GB, this card can store an amazing amount of data in a very small package. (Anyone else remember when having a 20gb hard drive in a laptop was considered cutting-edge?) However, there are some things to consider before buying this particular card (or any other 32gb SDHC card).

1. This is NOT an ideal card for a digital SLR like a D80, D90, Rebel XT, etc... That is because it is a class 4 device. The class of a SDHC cards has to do with how fast they read and write files, not how much storage they have. For a digital SLR, you should purchase a class 6 SDHC card most of the time. Class 6 cards will allow you to take 'bursts' of photos and not be limited by the card's capacity to write them. Also class 4 cards are slower reading data, meaning they will take longer to upload files to your computer. Upload speed is convenient, especially when loading large batches of files.

2. This card has far more storage than you need for your digital camera. Unless you like to keep all your photos on a SDHC card and never move them to your computer, there is very little need for more than about 8gb of storage space on a SDHC card. (The possible exception to this is if you have a D700 or other professional SLR that shoots files in the 16-20mb range). If all you intend to use this card for is a digital camera, save yourself a lot of money and buy a PNY 8GB SDHC Card. If you're worried about running out of space on a vacation, buy a few of them.

So what is this card intended for? This card is fantastic for use in a video camcorder capable of writing to an SDHC card. (Check with the manual first to insure that a class 4 card will be fast enough first). It is also perfect as extra storage for an ultra portable computer or net book like the Asus EEE pc. Another great application would be as added storage to a personal media player or MP3 player equipped with a SDHC slot such as the Cowon D2.

That said, this is a fantastic SDHC card with a breathtaking amount of storage. PNY makes quality products (I swear by their computer memory) and I think their SDHC cards are easily as good as more recognizable brands. If you have a need for the space, pull the trigger and get one. You'll be glad you did. - Sd Card - Sdhc - 16 Gb - 16gb Sdhc'

Neckstrap - canon, strap

Ok, I had the Black Rapid RS4 and returned for this after I found it here. A sling strap is much better then a regular strap over a long day and you don't look like a tourist.

Differences:

+the built quality of the BR RS4 is much thicker in the padding and the strap width then this guy.

+the attachment here is unique, but the lock would probably scratch the bottom of your camera over time. I fixed this problem by buying Black Rapid FastenR-3 Third Generation for R-Strap and taking out the default fastener here.

+the strap on this one is not as long as Black Rapid, but long enough for me.

Goods:

+Less bulk on the strap and padding makes it easier to storage in my Kata KT D-3N1-20 Sling/Backpack (Black) with my camera.

+Price, price, why Black rapid charges as much as a camera bag is highway robbery.

I sling strap is one of the best design for a DSLR users in a while. At this price, its became very affordable even with the BlackRapid Fastener I got with it. I got mine from cowboystudio here. RainbowImaging Innovative High Quality Quick Release Oxford Neck Strap For Canon, Nikon, Olympus. Sony, Pentax, Panasonic , Fujifilm Digital Cameras

This is a good inexpensive knock off of the BlackRapid RS-4/RS-5/RS-7 straps.

Those are pricy at upwards of $50.

It works just like the BlackRapid straps.

It does not look as well made. The strap padding is okay for the price.

However, it does not have the "sticky" rubber / rubber feet on the bottom side to keep it tight in position. It has a soft cloth bottom which keeps it in position most of the time.

The other noticeable difference is the connector to the camera. The Black Rapid strap has a threaded connector. This one is a spring-loaded snap. But it works just fine.

The zippered pocket is ok, just a fancy feature.

Great for the price.

The delivery took a couple of weeks but that was made clear right from the start and it did arrive at the predicted time.

I got an automated email from the vendor with a link to videos/instructions for the strap but there were only videos/instructions for other products, not for the strap.

Lets just cut to it; this product works as advertised but is certainly nothing fancy. In fact the "build" quality is less than what I had hoped for. If you are the type of person that really has a taste for better quality accessories, then spend your money on the Black Rapids sling. It can be purchased here at Amazon and is eligible for Prime shipping rates. The "build" quality of that unit would have to be an improvement over the RainbowImaging unit. After all, it sells for more than three times the price. If you are like me and don't have deep pockets, but do have a need for a better solution for carrying your camera, go ahead and give the RainbowImaging unit a try.

I was going to wrap up my little review but just wanted to stress again that the quality of this strap is very low. In fact, I can't afford to replace my camera or any of my lenses for that matter so I'm very apprehensive about using this strap. Consider the quality of the strap that came packaged with your camera. This is on par (perhaps even lower) with respects to material and overall finish. If you purchase one of these, I strongly suggest that you do as I plan on doing; limit the weight of the gear you attach to it (smaller lenses, no battery grip) and tread somewhat lightly...

The title of this review says it all; however, I will add that Rainbow seems to have changed the tripod mount connector from the one in the image to one that closely resembles the Black Rapid FastenR 3rd Gen tripod mount. I consider this a good thing, and one more reason to buy this product versus the Black Rapid or Luma Loop products, which seem great, but are out of control on price for an item that amounts to 5 bucks worth of assorted off-the-shelf components. I actually ordered the FastenR along with this product, thinking that I would use it instead of the camera mount depicted in the product photo. Well, now I don't need it! In fact, this one is better that the FastenR because it has a "pass through" threading that means you don't have to remove it for tripod use! Nice! Also, I didn't realize before ordering this product that it does, in fact, come equipped with a "stopper" designed to keep the strap in position, just like the expensive Black Rapid one, and the pad also has a built in zipper pocket with a special holder for memory cards. Smaller DSLR batteries could also fit in there, and certainly extra AAs for a flash. I guess the title didn't actually say it all.

Get the product on here and spend the $40 you save on an extra battery or memory card. Or just pocket the difference.

I belong to the cult of people who is not a great fan of Canon strap (yeah, touristy!!!). I also read in a photography book about the benefits of using a sling type strap. I was slightly speculative before ordering this strap, as I looked at more expensive Black rapid camera strap first. But after reading other reviews, I thought I'll give this a shot as this is comparatively inexpensive and I could afford a wrong decision at this price :)

Today I received this strap and to say the least, its very good. The strap quality is not bad at all and it took less than a minute for me to connect this to my camera (I have a tripod base connected to my camera always and I am able to connect the tripod base to the strap now). I have a Canon 7D and this strap fits like a charm! I feel very comfortable too. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sling-type strap.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this since there weren't many reviews. I am very glad I did. It is easy to attach and unhook. It is also very convienent to have the camera hanging at your side inside of on your chest (much easier to use). I recently used this on a cruise, having it on me one day for about 4 hours and really like how it distributed the weight. - Nikon - Canon - Strap - Neckstrap'

Portable Gas Grill - weber, gas grill

I bought one of these things ten years ago and despite twice replacing it with big, traditional-looking (and very expensive) grills I keep coming back to this one. In fact, when we bought our latest one at a local fireplace/grill store, the owner just couldn't stop talking about this cheap little grill. He confided to me in a low voice that if I were to lift the lid of his own $2500 home gas barbecue, I'd find this little gem sitting inside because it's all he uses too. Why? It's not ease of cleaning or durability or any of that stuff (they rust out after a few years sitting on the porch). And you'd better buy a big propane bottle with an adapter hose if you don't want to those little gas cylinders to suddenly empty out on you mid-meal while you're cooking for guests... No, the reason I adore this is that it just plain grills better than anything else on the market - and we've tried a lot of them.My wife, the culinary school grad, thinks it's the "flavorizer" that does it (the metal pan that replaces those awful lava rocks). When we grill salmon we just cover that metal pan with alderwood chips and let the smoke penetrate the fish while it grills with the lid on tight - flat out beating every restaurant or neighborbood grilled fish ever made. Friends of mine simply won't cook salmon for us.Even though we virtually never clean the thing, it simply does the best job flavor-wise of all our grills. If you crank it up to high for 10 minutes, then grill with the top closed (never open) you get very consistent heat which is the secret to good grilling. Some cookbook author who writes barbecue books constantly repeats the phrase "Know Your Fire" like a mantra. This fire is 100% consistent, heats up in minutes (again, no lava rocks to soak up heat) and produces superb results for us. If you know your fire, this is the fire to know. Weber 1520 Propane Gas Go-Anywhere Grill

I've owned a Weber Go-Anywhere for a couple of years now and it's been a regular part of my outdoor cooking. Gets up to temperature quickly and is great for grilling simple stuff like salmon, chicken and sausages. The food doesn't taste *quite* as good as my mesquite-fired kettle BBQ but the Go-Anywhere also doesn't take 30 minutes to fire up.The piezzo lighter flaked out on my Weber a couple of months after I bought it but it's pretty easy to light with a match. As another review mentioned, they do rust pretty quickly but they're really sturdy and basic. It grills as well as it did when I first bought it.Strongly recommended for folks looking for a small, no-nonsense (or frills) gas BBQ.

As someone who doesnt like spending the weekends at home, I often travel and talegate before sporting events or camping out. I have had a few travel along grills in the past, and this will be the last grill I ever buy. The ease of use and cooking quality make this the best grill I have ever used. Its compact size makes this easy to travel with and pack, and cleaning is not that hard (even after a couple of beers :). The flame heats up quickly and cooks meat evenly, so you can cook up to six hamburgers or two steaks at one time. The meat tastes great, and unlike charcoal grills cooks evenly. If you ever camp out or talegate (or ever bar b que at all), buy this grill. Remember to take along a couple of extra propaine tanks just in case it runs out. This will make any cooking occasion better than you have had before.

I bought one of these compact units for my mother three years ago. She liked it so much and found it so easy to use that I got one for myself last summer. It is easy to clean and does a great job of cooking small quantities of food in a short time. It is easy to transport and easy on gas. It starts easily and stays lit even on windy days. I found that one end of the grill is cooler than the other which is nice for warming or holding food before serving.

I remember in college my roomie had this old gas hibachi purchased at WalMart for about $25. It was all we could use at the apartment, so it had to be small. It cooked unevenly, never got super hot, but got us through two years of school. Fast forward nine years later, where $50 doesn't seem like a huge sum of cash anymore. Based on some reviews here, I ordered it up. I have cooked ten meals on it - pork, chicken, burgers, fish tonight. It cooks better than ANY grill I have used before, full-size or not.It gets pretty hot, for one. The drip pan over the pro-style burner tube vaporizes all of the fallen juices, smoking things up real good and giving food a great flavor. You just have to let it crank for 10 minutes on high to get up to temp, then adjust the temp to your liking. You can tell out of the box the difference Weber makes in grill making. It is heavier than you would think. The burner tube is a full length unit, covering the enetire cooking area. The regulator is even better than on the portable grills you find at K Mart. The drip pan replaces those terrible, smoky, greasy lava rocks. The ignitor is a nice touch. Some keys to good grilling though - always, always keep the lid on. Don't poke your food - lets all the juices out!Only cons to this unit -- the disposable propane tanks get expensive, and this grill goes through them pretty quickly (if you use the grill every day, of course). And lastly, the right side of the unit cooks ever so slightly cooler then the rest of the unit (good for veggies, etc). Best portable anywhere!

Nobody has mentioned one big factor in this grill's favor. The housing is porcelain coated steel, not just painted. The porcelain is a much more durable coating. I had one of the $20 cheapies, and rust was a big problem even with the unit sitting protected from rain in my garage between uses. The Weber will outlast the others several times over -- and look a lot more presentable while doing so. In addition, the electronic lighter is a lot safer and more convenient than match lighting. No chance of burning your hand with this little grill! - Portable Gas Grill - Compact Grill - Weber - Gas Grill'

Kids Fishing Equipment - easy fishing for kids

I bought this pole for my cousin for christmas after he had been asking to go fishing for a good year. We ended up going fishing recently and I thought the pole was going to be a little small for him but it actually worked out well for him and we were both happy with the pole. I was really impressed with how far this spincast reel casted. I also had a cheap spincast reel, with the same line weight, and mine didn't cast half as far. It really boosted his confidence, he is 6, with how far his pole was casting compared to mine.

Shakespeare did good with this pole. It's inexpensive and performs well. Shakespeare Cars Spincast Fishing Kit

Bought this for my 4 and 6 year old children. They love it. The set comes with a rubber wheel that you can attach to the line to practice casting. My kids have practiced for hours already, and will definitely be able to cast with a real hook and bait. The only negative is that the set does not come with a basic set of lures.

I'm not sure exactly how to rate this rod. It is WONDERFUL as far as durability, casting, the cute little tire that is tied to the end. I'd give it 5 stars!

Only one problem is that the packaging clearly states that it contains lead. Does not say exactly what part.

Not so good for a children's toy....

I actually contacted the company. They said that there was trace amounts in the paint but that it still passed safety standards.

So...I guess like houses build before 1978, unless the paint is chipping or if they chew on it and eat the paint chips then they should be fine!

This was bought for my grandson so he has a fishing pole when he comes to visit. It's a fun and great pole for little ones learning the ropes. We also have 2 barbie poles for the granddaughters they are a good buy at a great price.

We bought this to be used as our son's first fishing pole. I opened the package while he eagerly awaited. Unfortunately, the set is a EXTREMELY poor quality. The rod fell apart in my hands -- the little trigger piece fell out and the inside of the rod crumbled into the table. I re-assembled it. But, the rod just would not work. The line wouldn't come out when I pressed the trigger release. To no avail, I tried every way possible to fix the rod and had some friends look at it. Nothing worked.

Overall, this set is really weak and exemplifies the problems with selling a cheap Chinese-made pole. It tarnishes the good "Shakespeare" name and the history of decent fishing poles. I'd willingly pay double the price to have something that would last and actually work!

Also, this is not a complete set. Anyone who buys one of these and manages to get it to work properly will also need to buy a hook and a sinker. This does not come with either!

Overall: AVOID THIS TERRIBLE FISHING KIT.

This children's fishing pole is made with every bit of quality you'd expect from an entry-level adult fishing pole. The shaft feels very sturdy, and the metal eyelets are securely mounted. My only complain about construction is that the yellow spindle cover is made from a thin plastic that would probably break if it landed hard on the ground. Also, the "Cars" graphics are just decals - I would prefer it if they were silk-screened onto the plastic instead... Anybody can put decals on something. The reel is easy to maintain - just unscrew the plastic cap and it gives you easy access to fix any tangles that might occur. Actually, my fishing pole came from the factory with a slight tangle in the line, and I had to take it apart and fix it before we could use it, but it works great now. The practice lure is pretty neat, it is a little "Lightyear" tire from the movie, and it is made of rubber so that it won't break when it hits the ground. All in all, it's a good quality fishing pole that I would definitely recommend to anybody that wants to get their kid started out fishing! - Easy Fishing For Kids'

Compaq Ac Adapter - adapter, laptop charger

I received this cord a couple of days ago as my third charging cord for my HP laptop. The original cord broke near the tip. The second cord I purchased at Wal-mart for almost $80 was a piece of garbage that lasted only a few months before breaking at the tip as well. It didn't work great from day one and it was a certified HP replacement cord! This cord however, worked perfectly straight out of the box! With the first two cords, I had to wiggle, jiggle, move, tape, twist, and BEG to make them work. This one went straight in the port and began to charge immediately! NO more twisting myself into funny positions to make my laptop charge. I figured for less than $9, that the wires would be flimsy and cheaply constructed. I have to say that they are just as thick and sturdy as the original ones (and obviously better because the charger actually works as it is supposed to!) Don't think twice about ordering this one!!!! I know I'm glad I did! NEW Clearmax Laptop AC Adapter/Charger for HP Compaq/Pavillion DV1000 DV2000 DV4000 DV5000 DV6000 DV9000 G5000 G7000 6720s nc6000 nx6110 nx7010 Presario A900 C300 C500 C700 F500 F700 M2000 V4000 V5000

The charger would not charge unless I put tape to hold the charging cord to the charger box part and still had some issues. I can get it to work if I really need it for an emergancy but otherwise I dont care to use it at all

This Charger was purchased for my HP Pavilion dv6000 to replace my broken one. This product works very well, reaches as far as I need it to reach and hasn't messed up on me yet. So overall great product and will recommend to anyone else in need of the same type of charger.

I have purchased numerous DV series adapters because I work on them for my customers. I have had the gambit of bad to good.

Usually, they might fit one of the products and not another. Or they are somewhat loose, but still work to a degree.

This didn't fit a single DV series laptop. Didn't turn the light blue on a single one. Ultimately, it is total junk because what can you do with it if it doesn't fit?

I needed a new powercord because my old one was worn out. A few years ago i was going to purchase one and they were $100.00 so when I started looking I was expecting the worst. Found this one and thought it was too good to be true. Thought I would give it a try. For the price I thought it wouldn't hurt if it didn't work. Needless to say I got it in the mail and it works beautifully!!! I was so thrilled. It arrived in good time and is working like a charm. I will be buying from this seller again if the need arises. I hope it doesn't but just in case I am keeping it in my favs!! Thanks for a great product at a wonderful price!!!

do not buy from this vendor. item did not fit the DV6000 as it specified it would. I requested a refund and heard not another word about it. In fact, I was asked to take pictures of the item not fitting. Ridiculous. Buy from someone else.

My HP charger wire broke due to constant moving around and wanted to get a new one but didn't really want to spend a lot. Found this charger at my Fav spot - Amazon.com, read reviews, bought one instantly and I'm happy I did.

Only complaint I've is the length of cord, its short, but I can live with it.

This is my second charger, it works great, fits my hp laptop perfectly and the cable is plenty long. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was that it gets very, very hot and that could be why I needed a second one. Overall it is a very good alternative to the very expensive OEM replacement from hp. - Laptop Battery - Ac Power Adapter - Laptop Charger - Adapter'

Locks - master lock

I hestitated buying a secure lock on the internet. Boy was I wrong. This is a top quality lock. built very secure. Looks really nice. The deadbolt goes clear into the main frame of the door. My metal door is now quite secure. It would take a mighty blow to knock my door in now.Easy to put in,included a template that made it easy to match up to frame. Master Lock TUCO0605 Tulip Entry Door Knob and Keyed Alike Single Cylinder Deadbolt, Antique Brass

I didn't expect this level of quality for the price of this doorknob. After cringing at the thought of paying $50 for a decent doorknob and dead bolt, this was my only hope. The locks are very sturdy and they feel that way when you turn the knob or dead bolt. The finish is superb- quality I would expect of a much more expensive set. Installation was easy. I would buy this doorknob set again, but I doubt I will ever be required to do so- it looks and feels as if it will out live me.

I ordered the locks due to the great reviews. I bought 2 sets. One for the front, one for the back door. It is nice that they are all keyed the same. Very easy universal installation. Don't hesitate to order, you won't regret it.

Good product. Had a little troubling installing and adjusting the position of the lock. Also, received some parts that I didn't know what to do with. Had to purchase a new faceplate because the one included didn't cover the existing hole. Good quality but not the best. Lock is a little too snug but over time should loosen up. - Master Lock'
