I received this book in eager anticipation and was not disappointed. I have found the recipes in this book delicious and satisfying. Green Beauty and Pico de Gallo are just a few of my favorites. I can make the Chia Custard Shake and feel totally full when I need something in the middle of the day. Ruby's Smokin' Hot Tomato Soup is so good. Wonderful book. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to incorporate healthy and tasty alternatives to their diet. Penni Shelton has created this wonderful book, in part, through the experience of real people in real life following her program. And I have to say, I think that alone makes it an excellent resource for raw food info ... because we're all looking for real results. Penni's writing style is also warm and encouraging ... she's just a delightful and inspiring writer.



This book is organized around 3, 7, 14 and 28 day cleanses. But in this case, a "cleanse" is neither harsh nor strict with so many raw food recipes. The recipes are easy to follow and the dishes are visually stunning and delicious.



I really enjoyed the real life stories of people who've already done this program. They're genuine and open in telling about the changes that have happened in their health and their lives after following this way of eating and living.



I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in a genuine and uncomplicated introduction to the amazing health benefits a raw food lifestyle can help create.

The Raw Food Cleanse is an easy guide for anyone who is interested in upping their health game which features a test group of people who actually participated in a trial cleanse. The information is clear and encouraging for newbies to the raw movement as well as seasoned followers. There are juice feasts of various lengths so you can test the waters or dive in for a long term fast. In any case, there are a multitude of delicious recipes to create for during your fast and a bevy of taste titillating recipes for post cleanse. I have alot of raw food recipe books and the recipes in this book are not overwhelming as some of the books I have. Even if you are not gung ho about cleansing I would recommend it merely for the recipes. It is the perfect affordable choice for anyone who wants to increase their intake of fruits and vegetables in a easy yummy creative way!!

This book practically jumped into my hands--read me! read me!. I do have about five or six raw cookbooks that my friends have given me. But as I have recently returned to a raw diet for cleansing, I was so happy to read this little gem. Just about every recipe calls to me and looks so much easier that other raw books I have. Plus it's packed with so much other useful information all in one concise and easy to digest format. I am going to order more copies for my family and friends. After using these recipes for two weeks my brain fog is gone, my skin looks great, the whites of my eyes are whiter, and I have so much more energy! The food revolution is on!

This is THE book that changed my life. I heard of it from a friend who did a cleanse and I bought it just for the cleanse but loved it so much and eating raw so much I kept on going and now 3 months later I still use this book EVERY day. I recommend it to all my friends, even those who don't want to eat Raw all the time like me, but for the cleanse and for great recipe ideas. I never knew juices could be so good and it takes smoothie making to a whole new level. I also never knew how much you can do with raw ingredients, this book has some amazing dressing and dips. It was also educational for me, I know more about food and nutrition than I ever have and I have this book to thanks for making me change my diet and my life.

After reading such glowing reviews and researching the author online, I eagerly anticipated starting this cleanse. But, the results and the experience were not at all what I expected.



After just two days into the 14 day program, I became so violently ill that I had to immediately stop. Now, before anyone suggests that I must have been going through a "detox", I would like to explain that I am a vegan who eats almost entirely organic foods. I am extremely fit and active and compete in triathlons. I consider my health optimal. So why start a cleanse? Well, I had been interested in raw foods and basically wanted to give my body a reboot and see how my performance was affected. Unfortunately for this review, I instantly felt better once I returned to solid foods and stopped the juicing.



I still am interested in raw foods and will take away some of the recipes she included in the book, but as far as a cleanse... I will do without. One other small criticism I have for this book is that the stories in the book, although inspirational, are taken from people who did not actually do the specific cleanses in the book. These people who signed up for the test followed a different program entirely, which the author used as research for the programs she outlines. Even the foods and juices seem different. Just a note...



For anyone who did well on this cleanse, bravo! But, it's not for me.

I thought this book was very informative and got down to the main subject instead of the first 100 pages being about the history. There was a lot of practical recipes and I have certainly gotten plenty of use out of this book! I've even let my vegan friends take a peek at this! I love this book and keep it in my purse!

Wow! This book was everything I hoped for!!! It has so much great information that encourages you towards healthy living (but no guilt or pressure). Then it's broken down so clearly with the cleanses which make it so doable. I'm new to RAW and was looking for a book to guide me. I've done the 3 day cleans and plan to do the 28 day cleanse next. I LOVE that its not 'extreme' which makes it really feel like I'm learning a lifestyle in a gentle way.

And the recipes!!!!! So good!!! I really love them all. I think after I do the cleanse I'll go through and make each one. How fun and yum!

I LOVE this book and am so glad I got it!!!!! (I've seen it at big book stores and its cheaper here on Amazon).

Very disappointing. This product has less control than an average pair of pantyhose. The "high waist" was always rolling down. I wasn't expecting miracles; I just wanted to smooth out my silouette while I lost the final ten pounds of pregnancy weight. This product was completely useless. Product has a clever name but that's it. I really felt like a sucker for spending so much money on this item. Look elsewhere. Lipo in a Box "Original Firm Control" High Waist Brief w/Legs, Nude S

Given the name of the product and its price, I thought I'd get something that offered at least a little control, but it didn't even smooth out the appearance of cellulite on my thighs. It won't flatten your derriere because it won't flatten anything. The only promise it keeps is the waist and legs do not bind - they're not made strong enough to bind. The high waist kept sliding down, too; I had to tuck it under my bra to make it stay up. I bought this so I'd have a smooth look with the gown I wore to my daughter's wedding, and this garment was very disappointing. It was a waste of money. I've worn tummy control pantyhose that control better than Lipo in a Box.

I have been on a relentless search for a product like this. Other shapewear that i have tried is either very uncomfortable or has no control. Finally, I have found a product that is both very comfortable and very supportive. I truly look ten pounds lighter when I wear this. You will get your money's worth with this product. I have gotten the hight waist brief, the full control body suit and the camisoles. They all work like magic.

This is truly the first shapewear product that I can comfortably wear all day and not feel like I have to rip it off the moment I get home. The material is soft not rubbery like other products. It fits like a second skin but it's breathable. It feels snug where you need to be like in the tummy area and relaxed where you want it to be like in the waist and crotch areas. I'm hooked!

This product is fantastic! I have some extra weight right around my hips and belly and some shirts I tend to just bulge out the sides of. This product really works great to hold that in. I have outfits I won't wear without it and I love it! Now, It's definitely not perfect though, sometimes it does roll down slightly at the top. I might have to adjust it a couple times a day, but it's not too bad. Actually, one of mine has a hole in the butt and that is my best one! I don't know why, but that one doesn't roll down ever or anything!

i was worried the high waist would roll down and the legs would roll up...I havent had those problems . Its been a very good garment and holds everything in. i've tried other shapewear and this is by far the best.If you get black you might want to go up a size since the black seems smaller.

This product is garbage- it looks and feels like a cut up pair of pantyhose with no support or shaping provided despite claims otherwise. I perhaps should have ordered a smaller size but following their sizing chart I ordered correctly. What a waste of money! Do not buy this product- go buy a pair of cheap control top pantyhose for under $5 and save your money. Notice this company does not even stand behind its products by allowing returns for new un-used products. RIPOFF!!!!

OK, I AM AN OVERWEIGHT PERSON WITH ALOT OF MY WEIGHT IN MY STOMACH AND BACK. I HAVE NEARLY TRIED EVERYTHING OUT THERE TO MAKE ME LOOK BETTER IN MY CLOTHES. I MUST SAY THAT THE FIRM CONTROL HIGH WAIST BRIEFS ARE GREAT. I DONT FEEL ALL SUCKED IN AND OUT OF BREATH LIKE SOME OTHER BRIEFS I HAVE. I AM NOT CONSTANTLY PULLING AT THEM ALL DAY. YOU CAN WEAR THIS EVERY DAY, I AM SERIOUS. IF YOU WANT TO LOOK BETTER IN YOUR CLOTHES GET THESE BRIEFS!

I got this after seeing it on Oprah last year -- what a huge waste of money. I guess if it were a really great product it would have been on one of Oprah's 'favorite things' episode. I had the same problem with the top rolling down. Also, when I was trying it on with different pants/jeans, it was finally such a relief to take it off and when I was comparing a pair of pants with and without, it was much more comfortable without and didn't look that much different. Waste your money somewhere else.

I had a great loss of weight in the last 2 years, and this one, and the long ones had helped me a lot in my shape... I can't live without them... you just have to buy the right one for your size, if you buy it too little you will pay the consecuences... Just try to be honest with your size and you will have the good shape you want... I'm using an XS right now. It is great... I wear them under my bra. I bought two, because I wear them everyday... you have to replace them maybe in 6 months, in some cases I've had to sew them.'

I saw these online when looking for Christmas presents for my 6 yo son. I remembered them from when I was a kid and they are just as much fun now as they were back then! We spent quality time together coloring them and watching them shrink in our toaster oven...only takes a minute or so. The holes that are already in them make them easy to create keychain decorations or "bracelets" with the pipe cleaners (included). These are just plain fun. The box comes with a ton of pieces to color and a set of pencils for coloring. There is no right or wrong way to color them, it is entirely up to the child (or adult if you can convince your kids to give you any :P).

Once they are colored, you just pop them in an oven and watch carefully. We use our toaster oven so we can keep a close eye on them through the window. The instructions clearly state to wait until they curl up and then lay flat again.



Take them out and viola - a fun little piece of art.



I think they are a doubly fun craft kit because kids get to color and design and then they get to see a little oven magic.



The pieces hold up but there are so many that if you break one or lose one, there are no tears.



A great way to pass the time on a rainy afternoon or cold winter day and fun for many ages (if I could only get my kids to share with me...) Maybe I'll have to buy my own box.

Fun for all ages - both me and my 11 y.o. had fun with this. For less than five dollars (Amazon sale price), this kit is an awesome value, as there are at least 20 different shapes included, as well as the colored pencils, pipe cleaners, and magnents. And unlike traditional shrinky dinks, these are pre-cut shapes (sooo helpful), and the holes for pipe cleaners and such are also pre-cut. We shrank them in the toaster oven, but you can also use a traditional oven. Would buy again for gift giving.

I actually purchased this for my 40 year-old son & his wife because it was a favorite item from their childhoods. If used by young ones, it certainly needs adult supervision. Cheap for the entertainment value and smiles.

Fun retro toy that was a great rainy day project. The six year old that I bought it for had a blast coloring them and then watching them shrink. A little bit brittle once baked, so not great for really little ones.

After looking at several other labcoat's reviews, I decided to buy this one. It was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a labcoat for a tall person, and this did not disappoint. It was a tad big, but I took it in anyways. The fabric was wonderful and it was very sturdily put together. I love the three pockets as well as the slits in the sides so you can reach your own pockets. It was very easy to handle and doesn't wrinkle as much as I anticipated. This disc represents the best example of 3D photography available for Blu-Ray 3D at this time (17-Nov-2010). And, where one might fear that it would be undermined by insipid commentary from Jim Carrey, that fear turns out to be misplaced, with only a few brief exceptions.



Having done 3D (it should really be called "stereo") photography in the past, I can say that there are ways to do it well, and ways to do it poorly. Poor technique, and/or difficult subject matter, lead to artifacts (like distracting cases of the left image bleeding through into the right image, and vice versa - imperfect presentation technology is a factor in such cases, but stereo photographers know they face such problems, and failure to allow for them shows a lack of care) and, in extreme cases, even to difficulty in mentally assembling the 3D scene.



The stereo photography on this disc is not perfect in every case, but, overall, it is the best I've seen yet from any Blu-Ray 3D title (and I've bought all of the IMAX conversions available to date, and several of the few available films). Sit directly in front of your TV, and you can reach out and touch many of the creatures they've captured. It is a thing of beauty. (You will, for instance, probably never see a potato cod captured more perfectly.) In the rare cases where quality problems emerge it is in situations where stereo photography is just plain problematic - scenes with significant, but unpredictable, depth of field, high contrast elements, and subjects whose proximities to the camera(s) vary uncontrollably, leading to excessive parallax at times. I have no idea what equipment the photographers who made this IMAX film worked with, or what the state of the art currently is (or was at the time), but, in my experience, they'd have been hard-pressed to do better in practice.



If I were to pick any of the currently available Blu-Ray 3D titles to show-off 3D (stereo) television, or just for the pleasure of repeated viewing, this is the one I would choose. IMAX: Under the Sea 3D (Single-Disc Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray Combo)

I rented this movie at Blockbuster to watch on a Samsung UN55C8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV.

IMAX offers many different movies that cover a wide range of topics that are great for children and adults.

Needless to say, the quality of the movie is simply breathtaking.

The movie shows various animals and species in their natural underwater habitat that most of us simply will never get to see in our lifetimes.



Jim Carrey's narration is an added bonus to the overall entertainment value. He narrates with a relaxed yet charming voice with small jokes you and your family will be sure to enjoy.

With stunning images and vivid colors and scenery, this movie must not be missed.



The only drawback to this movie is the length at under an hour which will leave you either wanting more or simply watching it again.

I am placing an order on Amazon for my own copy after I finish writing this review.

I am a scuba diver and I have dove all over the world including the South Pacific.



Many friends ask me what it looks like when we scuba dive. White balance is extremely difficult when shooting pictures under water, and changes constantly. You need to take a white card and rebalance the camera every few minutes. This movie, shot in the South Pacific, New Guinea, New Zealand, The Great Barrier Reef etc, is the most accurate ocean movie I've ever seen. They have somehow accurately captured the rainbow of colors we see when we dive. You will never see anything as bright and colorful as tropical fish and coral. The film crew must have a huge array of lights to shoot this.



Fish "school", move together, so nearsighted larger predator fish, sharks and such, will think they are one big fish instead of a thousand small fish and not attack them. This movie shows thousands of small fish schooling together, which is a fascinating and hypnotic process to watch.



Movie also contains a scene of the fabulous reclusive Leafy Sea Dragon one of the strangest creatures in the sea, which I have only seen here and in the Monterey Aquarium.



Yes, it's a little short. The film crew doubtless shot hundreds of hours of movie and has provided the viewer with the choicest and most interesting parts. (it's damn hard to get those fish to pose!)



It's the closest you can come to diving without getting wet.

"IMAX Under the Sea" narrated by Jim Carrey is spectacular when seen in Blu-Ray. The color photography is stunning and very vivid. It's a trip. It is photographed mostly along the sea bottom in the coral reefs off New Zealand and in Australia's Great Coral Reef.

As usual with these nature films it features a great deal of footage on predators. I guess the moviemakers think that their audiences will be enthralled by seeing predation at work, and of course it is dramatic and exciting to see hunters go at it. There are scenes of cute sea lions cavorting around the bottom, and luckily the producers don't show the predatory feats of the Great White Shark who is shown lurking in the vicinity.

The living coral reefs make marvelous visual images. The symbiotic relationships between species are shown when one species relieves another of parasites. Watch out for those cuttle fish with their darting projectiles that grab unwary passers-by. Big schools of fish are shown swarming through the sea as other fish sedately undulate along.

This movie is a treasure, and the camera people showed extraordinary skill. It's a rare sight to be able to see the teeming marine life that inhabits the reefs.

This film is indeed quite short, but so beautiful that you'll watch it again and again. The educational narration is fun and easy to discuss later with young children. I rented the movie, but I would consider buying it because I could watch it over and again. It seems quite steep new though, so I would look for a used copy. - 3d Blu-ray - 3d - 3d Movie - Imax'

This is my first time using a gun with the coil nails. I'm shooting them through a Makita AN611. It's probably partly due to the gun itself and partly due to the nails, but there are no jams and the nails feed all the way to the very last one without any problems. Nice product!

I ordered this nails one day and needed them the next so i use fastest shipping they were delivered on time and these nails hold tight, I got used like new so there were a few rolls that were a little out of round but nothing to worry about this is my second box and have used them on cement siding and cedar fencing I would recommend this product.

The nails were shipped in one of those made in China flimsy boxs and the box was falling apart by the time I got the product. Now every roll of nails needs to be rolled out and streighted before using. - Siding Nailer'

Lcd Mount - tv mount, lcd wall mount

I just used this to mount a 32" lcd to the wall. I wanted the smaller mount for it (the one that only goes to 37") so the ends don't stick out, etc. The harware pack was complete, and everything went together very nice. The mount itself is extremely sturdy, and the metal is nice and thick too. The black finish is nice also.

I will definitely recommend Cheetah Mounts to everyone I know that needs to mount a lcd or plasma.

I just bought a 32" Samsung LCD and decided on this mount for it.



Pros: For the price, this is a great deal. I have no experience with other brands of mounts, but I've found this one to be very sturdy and feel comfortable hanging a 30lb TV on it.



Cons: While this was a great purchase for the money, here are the negatives I've found about this mount.

1) The reason I took a star off was because of the design of this mount. Adjusting the screws is very difficult once the TV is hanging. In addition, I needed to get an extra long screwdriver to adjust the bottom-locking screws. I do not have experience with other mounts though, so this may be standard. Still though, it could be a little better designed to be user friendly.



2) The built in level seemed to be off. However, Cheetah includes a free level with this model and I used another one I had just to double check.



3) The directions were straight forward, however, they recommend an 3/16" drill bit for the pilot hole. I found this to be way to small to fit the anchors in and had to use a 3/8" drill bit to get them to fit. Don't try to hammer and force them in, you will just damage the anchor. It should be snug though. 3/8" bit worked.





Overall this was a great product for the price, and I would definitely buy it again.

I receieved this product fast. I opened it up and was very pleased with all parts and HW in tact.

Set it up on my wall in a short time, and tilted it perfectly for viewing on my bed.

Very legit!! I am happy with the low low price and very sturdy construction.

I recently ordered two mounts. Unfortunately, only one arrived on the scheduled delivery date. I contacted their Customer Service group via email and received an immediate response. They apologized for the inconvenience and decided to file a claim for the missing mount. Then, they sent another mount 2-day express. I don't know about you but I am not used to a company taking responsibility for delivery issues and resolving the problem quickly. The mounts are excellent. They fit perfectly to the LCD and the wall. My only complaint would be that the distance between the farthest holes were barely 16" wide (typical span between studs). But I was able to align this just right using an electronic stud finder. I research many many site to find a mount for the right application and right price. Trust me, you will be extremely pleased with their mounts. Other similar mounts cost double. They provide all the hardware pieces you'll need.

Got one of the new Samsung LED TVs and this mount worked out fine. Just make sure that it fits. This mount is a little smaller than the last mount that I got. My last mount was also from Cheetah, but it was model APTMM2B. This mount was a few dollars cheaper so I went for it. It fits TVs where the holes in the back are up to 17" apart side to side and about 12" top to bottom. It turns out my display is what they call VESA 400x200mm which is about 16x8" so my TV just fit. I really don't think the weight is an issue as I think this mount could have held a lot more. But my last TV was a Panasonic and the holes on the back of that TV were further apart, maybe around 25" and so this mount would not have worked. I did not really pay that much attention to where the holes were before I bought so I guess I got lucky. The ad did say that most LCD or LED LCD TVs do follow the VESA standards like the TV I got so maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Panasonic was a plasma and not an LCD, cause the Panasonic is Not VESA standard. So anyway, you can save a little with this mount, just check the holes on your TV first.



Other stuff. The mount has a built in bubble level which was just a little off, but it did also include a nicer longer bubble level that was level. The longer level has magnets on one side and so when you are mounting the part that goes on the wall, you can just set the level on top of the top piece and it "sticks" there because of the magnets. The manual was decent and the mount came with a lot of screws that I ended up not using because my TV already had screws for a wall mount. It really is a shame that they have to include so many screws because my last 2 TVs both came with screws. I have ended up with 2 big bags of hardware that I will probably never really use for anything. But I guess some TVs don't come with screws so it is probably better overall if the big screw bags are there.



One other tip. Set the amount of tilt you want before you attach the TV to the wall. Once it is on the wall there really is not enough room for your hand to reach the tilt adjust. In my case I set it for a fair amount of tilt right off because that is what I need so I didn't really have to adjust it. That's it.

Generally, this unit is OK. It's when you look at two specific details that you start running into problems. First, the screws that fix the unit to the back of the TV are too long. They provide spacers, but the spacers are also too long. I had to use 5 or 6 washers to take up the extra space on each screw. Second, the tilt mechanism is not aligned properly. You cannot loosen or tighten it while it's on the wall. When you try taking it off to loosen it a half turn, it is too loose and the TV tilts down (i.e. it won't stay up). Try tightening it a half turn, and it's too tight (i.e. won't tilt at all). By the way, a half-turn is your only option due to the long lever used on the mechanism. I tried several things. Nothing worked. Ultimately, I left it tight (no other choice really.



I should have known I would run into these types of issues when I saw the 'built in level'. The built in level is worthless (and WAY OFF). Across a 30" span, the level was about 2.5 inches off. Any manufacturer who hasn't actually tried installing their product from time to time for quality assurance is not going to last. These people clearly don't.
