Hd Media Player - v3, hd media player

We hunted for such a device for several months trying to decide which to get, we finally settled on the NBOX v3. The box is simple, light weight and easy to use, for the most part plug and play.

Upon getting the device we took it out, read through the short and informative manual and went about hooking up some things to test it. We tested AVI, MKV and MPG movies, all worked flawlessly except for one hiccup where it went out of sync on the audio when we left it paused overnight.

The Layout is simple and easy to use, if you can scroll through and choose whether you want a movie, music, file, etc...then you can use this.

Only one concern is the remote, it feels like it's unresponsive sometimes, and I'm not entirely sure it's going to last as long as the device itself is, although I have found that if I sit straight across from the NBOX that I can turn on the device and go through the buttons quite easily, so maybe it's just the angles. Although it is probably best to turn on your movie or whatever and then put the remote up where it won't get sat on or something get put on it so that it will be just fine.

I've now recommended this device to several people, it plays everything I have thrown at it, it went to work smoothly and is used on a regular basis, the family loved it this week.

A side note about the review that said it wouldn't work with 2.5" external drives, I found this to be true at first but I've found since then it isn't true for me. I am currently using an old laptop hard drive with an external enclosure, it won't work with a long USB cord but will with a really short one. I don't know why, but with a short USB cord it works, with the long one it won't. So you might test that see if that holds true with yours. BONUS PACK! NBOX V3 Full HD 1080P Multimedia Digital TV Media player

I bought this in an effort to reduce my DVD collection, and it totally does :-)

This is super easy to use, works right off the bat, and is overall well worth the money!

I plugged in a 2TB external hard drive with about 120 movies on it and it all works well. Overall, I am happy and am considering getting another one for another part of my house...

I found myself needing some kind of device to play my numerous digital files. This fits the bill. NBOX offers other models with affordable pricing options. I went for the V3 model with its many outputs to display on any TV. The HDMI has fantastic picture qualiy on my big screen. The SPDIF optical audio output has great audio for movies. The benefit of its small size makes it much easier than always having to hookup your laptop to view various files. Photos, video, audio even text files display big and bright. I convert all my .FLV files to .WMA compatable files to play smoothly on this device. Includes contact info and website link for after the sale service if needed. Amazon product description is accurate.

Overall an affordable quality solution to playing digital downloads on your TV.

I don't normally leave reviews but I felt like I was taking a risk in buying this little gadget and a couple extra reviews would have been helpful for me. This thing works exactly like it is supposed to work. Hook it up and go. The ONLY criticism I have is that the side-to-side range of the remote is limited. You basically have to be directly in front of the box for the remote to work. But even with the remote issue I love this player and would buy another again anytime.

I bought this specifically for the H.264 playback capability. It has no such

capability in any real sense. The video freezes and frames stutter and sound is

out of sync. The first files i tried were high@L3.0 but i eventually backed down

to Simple@L1 and still no improvement. I re encoded to match the frame sizes exactly

and still no useful picture.

The Divx does seem to work well and i like the resume feature that remembers where you

left off. The manual included DOES state that the USB port will not power a portable

hard drive that gets its power from USB.

I think quite a few of these reviews here are planted. I am surprised at this and will

be much more careful about trusting the reviews in the future.

This is a review for the Nbox version 3.

I purchased the Nbox as a Christmas present for my brother. Not only did I need something that could play a wide variety of video types but also included subtitle support. The Nbox fits the bill very nicely. It's small, seems to consume very little power and worked like a charm out of the box. My brother isn't a techie but he had it set up and running very quickly. Simply plug in the included HDMI cable to the Nbox and a HD TV, insert a USB 2.0 flash drive with a video and you're off. As others have noted you do need to make sure you don't lose the remote as there are no controls on the box itself. I don't mind that personally as I prefer the box being very small and conserving space. I haven't measured it but I believe it's only about 10 inches long by 5 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high.

I've never tried other devices that work similar to the Nbox but but for the price, the Nbox was a great deal. I'm very happy and I don't think anyone purchasing one will be disappointed. The only concern is whether it lasts a long time but so far so good. Great purchase. - V3 - Media Player - Multimedia Player - Hd Media Player'

Home Security - door lock, home security

I read all the reviews before I tried this product. I am very concerned and picky shopper. I thought I would give this a try. I believe the key to this product is the flooring you are using this on. The foot on the lock works excellent on title or wood. I would not recommend this product on carpet.

One key point to remember...the farther away you have the base from the door the less strength it has. Try to get it between 70 degrees and 80 degrees. I was able to knock it out of place at 50 and 60. I normally do not worry about safety; however, I am a heavy sleeper. I can fend for myself but I have to hear it first. Let me know if you found this helpful! Master Lock 265DCCSEN Dual-Function Security Bar

With all the hype about bump keys (which basically renders most locks useless), I tried to think of something that can counter it. So far, this is the only thing that I can find short of buying a top of the line lock for a $80 - $200.

[Pro]

It's moderately effective with a low price.

It's lightweight and portable. You can bring it on trips.

It's versatile (it's adjustable and can be used on any door that swings inward and sliding doors)

This will slow down potential intruders, potentially either buying you precious extra time or alerting you.

You can use it as a makeshift bat if needed.

It has better quality than similar competitors.

[Cons]

It only slows down a potential intruder. It won't stop them. This device is common enough for them to think of ways of countering it.

The top piece that hooks into the door knob is made of cheap plastic. It will eventually break. Check it often.

The device does what is suppose to. If someone wanted to break in the front door of our apartment they would have to kick it down... and we would actually hear it.

We were more afraid of someone "sneaking" in the place, rather than breaking in.

When it is stretched out to the fullest it seems a little flimsy.

An Added bonus is that it also works as a door stopper to hold the front door open.

The silver button that locks the bar length in place slips out of the hole VERY easily, allowing the bar to collapse. I tested this bar by simply leaning with my full weight (220 lbs) on the outside of the door, and the button gave way, allowing the door to open freely. This little button BARELY makes it through the hole on the bar. Rather than return this thing, I am going to use my drill to make some modifications, and use another metal pin to lock the bar in place. Also, the foot of this thing slips pretty easily, even when moistened and pressed against a high-friction floor.

Master Lock should be very ashamed of this piece of garbage. It will negatively influence my future security purchases.

This security bar is very easy to use and a good alternative for providing additional protection. There are questions about how it's installed and its width - this is from the package:

* This security bar adjusts to fit most sliding and hinged doors

* Simple push button adjustment. No tools required.

* High strength steel tube (20-gauge)

* Portable, collapsible to fit most suitcases (**I wouldn't try to bring it inside a carry on**)

* Ideal for home or apartment (entry doors, interior doors for privacy, garage access doors), student dorms and travel

* Limited lifetime guarantee (see your store for details) (**Not sure what it means but keep the receipt**)

For use with hinged doors:

* Non-marring yoke designed to work with most types of door hardware. Can be removed for use with sliding glass doors.

* Pivoting ball joint (assures full contact with the floor)

* Padded foot provides sure grip on most floor surfaces and protects against finish damage.

* For hinged door, adjusts from 30" to 44.5"

* Should not be placed on loose rugs or floor mats

* To install, adjust bar length so padded base is 15-18 inches from bottom of door when yoke end is placed firmly under door knob

* Adjust length by rotating tube until silver button pops up

* Place yoke end tightly against the underside of the knob

* Slide padded base of security bar toward door until snug

For use with sliding glass doors

* Remove non-marrying yoke from end of security bar

* Adjust bar length to fit in the sliding door track

* Allow enough slack to remove the security bar quickly

* For sliding door, adjusts from 27.5" to 42"

For childproofing purposes, a Charley bar is better. If you don't have one, this bar may be better than the typical broomstick but you could consider placing an additional sliding glass door lock on top in case your child figures out how to lift it off the track (not too hard as it's not pressure fitted). In this regard, the Master Lock 251D which had a pressure lever was superior, as it could be wedged firmly high up, out of reach of children.

This is just what I was looking for. A little extra security for my front door. We have tile in the entry way, and when in place it is very secure. To test it out I have tried to open the door with a lot of force, with it in place. It kept the door closed and secure. It is very easy to assemble, adjust and use. Several of my family members have purchased it and love it also. Would buy again.

I am so glad I puchased this security bar. I learned the hard way how well it worked. The first weekend I used it I locked myself out (went out of the garage door and did not have my garage opener with me) and had to climb in through the balcony. The security would not budge and the small opening that was available when we unlocked the door with the key was not large enough to poke anything through to try and dislodge it. This is a great buy in order to get some security. An intruder would literally have to break down the door or break the glass (if you have it on your door) to get in. - Home Security - Door Lock - Door Stopper - Charlie Bar'

Notebook Charger - toshiba satellite ac adapter, notebook power adapters

My puppy chewed up my laptop charger and I needed a quick fix without having to spend too much. The shipping was extremely fast and the product was great, but after a week it stopped working. I have to spend about 20 minutes every time positioning my laptop so that it will charge. I would recommend spending the extra money for a better charger. Universal AC Adapter/Power Supply/Charger Cord for Toshiba Laptop 90w

I have owned this product for alittle over a month and I have not had any problems with it. My computer is about 5 years old and the battery doesn't hold charge, so I have keep the charger plugged in constantly. I have NOT had any problems with pieces being broken or loose as I had read previously. I am very happy with the use I am getting out of this computer charger. NO PROBLEMS HERE!

The item arrived fast and packaged well. It worked as one of the tips fit my laptop. You will need to be careful with it after a week or so of moving the laptop around and plugging and unplugging laptop the tip worked loose and no longer supplied power without alot of wiggling it around.

I looked at the product reviews before purchasing and I wasn't sure if i should have bought this charger especially since it was less than 10 dollars!

But now I own this computer charger now and it SUCKS!!! I have used 2 tips since 2 fit my computer and they both gave me the same problems. I have to move the tip around in circles to find where it will charge for the time being and it has to stay in that position the whole time without moving to make it charge.

I do not recommend buying this charger.

This product was a huge piece of garbage. The adapter would not stay plugged into the back of my computer. We had to keep moving the cords around in order for the lights to go on and charge the computer. It lasted about 2 weeks then we couldn't handle the dumb thing so we don't even try to use it any more. It basically will not charge my computer unless I hold the adapter plug just right into the back of my computer and let it charge. Waste of money.

I needed a universal charger cord for my Toshiba laptop when mine stopped working(they didn't sell one for my laptop anymore). I looked at multiple places but it was like $90. I'm very happy with this purchase it works great! - Universal Laptop Ac Adapter - Battery Charger - Toshiba Satellite Ac Adapter - Notebook Power Adapters'

Dvr - dvr, digital voice recorders

I bought this recorder 2 days before my classes started on amazon prime. Based on the one review that someone posted on here I was hesitant to purchase it but I bought it anyway and it works great! It picks up every little sound. During 1 of my lectures, the machine that the janitor uses to clean the floor was making a lot of noise and when I played back the lecture I could hear the mop machine going off as well as hear my professor close the door. The only thing I don't like about this recorder is that I find this recorder hard to operate. Its not hard to operate the record button and do the playback for the recording but trying to get to the folders is the hard part. The directions aren't really clear to me but I will figure out. The real cool thing about this recorder is that its small and it has a pop up USB port that u could just stick into the computer. I like playing with the button to push it up. LOL RCA VR5320R 1GB Digital Voice Recorder

Bought this recorder for work to record one-on-one research interviews. PROS: very portable, inexpensive, sensitive mic, great editing capabilities, playback is good with decent volume. CONS: not very user-friendly; USB port is poorly designed. I bought this device for the easy USB transfer of files, but the port is at the top of the recorder and the batteries are at the bottom. This forces the weight to bear down on the port, which is bad for both machines and also means the connection goes in and out. I had to find something to prop it up so it could hold the connection. This port would be better placed in the middle on the side of the recorder so the weight is more evenly distributed. I downloaded my files once successfully (though I fought with it), but the second time I used it, the recorder became corrupted and now it won't work in any machine and I can't get my files off of it. If uploading files is important to you, I would recommend a recorder that can receive a USB or that has a removable memory card.

Just returned this device. Works ok but the highest recording quality is 65Kb/s. This is about half the quality of an normal MP3 recording. For my application, it was not good enough. For normal dictating, it would be fine. - Dvr - Digital Voice Recorders - Digital Voice Recorder - Mac Compatible'

Collector S Edition - warcraft, blizzard

You can all see from the product details what comes in the box, so I won't rehash it all for you, but one thing not mentioned is that in the special pack of cards for the trading card game, I got one "loot" card with a scratch-off code you can use to get stuff in the game. That was pretty sweet. Also the pictures of the mouse pad do not do it justice. My wife told me if I get the dragon pet in game, that she gets the mouse pad. It's very high quality, and looks amazing, almost like they used holographic type paint for it.

The gameplay itself is great. I've been so busy playing my new Death Knight and leveling their trade skills, my own lvl 70's fishing, and cooking... and alchemy... getting achievement points that were released in v3.0.2 prior to the launch etc. I've only hit 72. I did however take the first day to just run around and look at everything. The world design is amazing. It's all themed around cold climate except the southern parts of the two starting areas, but, it's not like you're going to run around and look at the same thing from beginning to end, there is tons of zone variety. Crystalsong Forest is my favorite so far, I plan to spend a lot of time there for sure.

UK and the Nexus are the first two instances, they are solid. UK is like a cross between a really big Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines. Nexus is like... geeze... I dunno... a blue Underbog crossed with Tempest Keep. So they definitely made it a point to distinguish this content from old world just like they did with Outland in The Burning Crusade.

They added a bunch of new enemy and neutral NPC models to the game, which is nice. I was disappointed with the rehash and redesign of several old world mobs in TBC. Most of what I've seen in Wrath so far is all new, and that's definitely a welcome change.

*EDIT* The same can also be said for the quests. It's still mostly, gathering and mob farming, but there are a lot more, "go here, use this item to do x" quests as well as some completely new quests that center around a new vehicle engine. There's an alliance quest in Howling Fjord where you get in an airplane, actually pilot the plane around an open mine picking up bags of minerals with a grappling hook, then flying them back up to the top to drop them off. There's another in the Borean Tundra where you hide in a mine cart, wait to get carted behind enemy lines, get on their boat and use a huge cannon to fire into several enemy brigades. You actually get to aim the cannon and there are a couple different actions while in the cannon. This new system has thus far proven to be a welcome addition to the typical mmo game play. *END EDIT*

All in all I am very pleased with this collector's edition, and would recommend it to anyone with a few extra bucks to spend, that enjoys extra "real world" loot so to speak. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition

I have been playing WoW since it all began (was even in the beta). This review is not about the game itself, however. There are more than enough reviews about that. As far as that is concerned, I've played pretty much all of the major titles (LotRo, AoC, EQ, UO, AC, AC2, DAoC... etc.), and I keep coming back to Wow, still going strong for 4 years with 3 accounts for me and my sons.

So, what about the Collectors Edition? This is my first CE version of WoW, not having gathered up the previous versions. I can say that this was a very satisfactory purchase. The Art Book is great, with small color commentary as well as the beautiful artwork, about certain areas of the game. I only wish they would have been expanded more as it really does wet your appetite for the rich back story of Warcraft. As a result, I am now looking for even more literature on the story-line. It really does bring the world to life.

You also get the Audio CD Soundtrack, and it is excellent. All of the theme music you are familiar with is there, and I really enjoy playing them in the background some days when away from the game. Yes, I know: I am addicted, but I look at WoW as a hobby, and a really inexpensive and fun one at that. Some people fix up old cars, knit quilts, paint landscapes, watch TV ... I play WoW :)

You also receive a very colorful mouse pad that I am afraid to even use, because it looks so nice. I want to keep it in prestine condition, so I won't use it. I love it! You also will get an ingame pet, Frosty. It is a great edition to the game and sort of a bragging right to other players. I keep Frosty with me at all times.

The last item is the 'making of' DVD with interviews and other interesting bits of information about the game. It includes the awesome trailer, which is just visually stunning and beautiful. If you love the game as much as I do, you will be showing family and friends this trailer at every chance you get.

This is overall a GREAT collectors edition, with lots of stuff included for the fan and hobbyist of WoW. I am very, very pleased with the purchase.

Something of Collectors Editions you should know: they are truly COLLECTORS editions, worth every penny. This is why -- Back in 1996, I bought the 'Charter' edition of Ultima Online (UO). It came with a Pin, a cloth map, and nice packaging. I still have the map, but lost the pin when it fell off a backpack in college. I am SO UPSET I lost that little pin. Why? Try to find one ANYWHERE and you will see my pain. This charter set is now worth several hundred dollars to a Ultima collector. I LOVE the cloth map, even though I haven't played that game in years. It's nostaligia. Brings back soooo many memories of friends I never met in person, but are still dear to me. WoW is no different.

Someday I will move on from the game, but the friends I made, the fun I had... I want to keep that with me always, and the Collectors Edition is a keepsake that will help me remember people who I will never know in real-life, but had names like Youskajin, Stromblade, Nyota, Sef... and we fought epic battles together, had more than a few laughs, pretended we were great heroes every once in awhile. Oh, and the set will probably be worth a lot of money someday ;) - Warcraft - Collector S Edition - Blizzard - Wotlk'

Face Treatments - face oasis, h2o plus

Face Oasis isn't like any other moisturizer I've tried - One application makes my skin appear plump and well-hydrated even if I've neglected to drink my 8 glasses of water that day. It isn't at all greasy, absorbs quickly, and serves as a great base over which to apply my makeup. The guys I've introduced it to have raved about it as well! H2O Plus Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment 1.7 fl oz (50 ml)

I started using Face Oasis when H2O Plus first opened its stores. There are two specific reasons why I continue to use it. I am sensitive to most cosmetic product smells and perfumes - it has its own unique "light" smell, but it certainly does not make my eyes water - and its ability to be absorbed by the skin without leaving a residue, or greasy feeling. Some skin products (some very expensive ones)have left my face dried out even though labeled as "moisturizers". Face Oasis has this wonderful 'cool' feeling to it. A $34.00 jar lasts 3 months - do the math. Some over the counter skin products cost over $9.00 and Face Oasis and H2O Plus products on the whole, are fiscally sound purchases for those looking for a bargain.

I have dry skin, this moisturizer worked so well when I used it in my 20s, I felt my skin being hydrated instantly after putting it on my face. However, after i reached 30s, it's no longer good enough for my skin. If you have very oily skin (or outer oily, inner dry), it would be a very good moisturizer for you.

I got a compliment that my skin looked "dewey" the day after I started using it.

It is not greasy and the natural ingredients do not cause irritation. This is important since I have eczema.

I think this product is fantastic.

It's hard to find the perfect skin products, but this one is flawless in my opinion. It's not heavy or greasy and goes on the skin just perfectly. I tend to have sensitive/combination skin and now use this treatment everyday. I strongly recommend it.

I have used this for about 15 years, and it is AWESOME ! It does everything the others have said and makes your skin look and feel great. I could tell a difference the first time I used it and although I've tried other products I always came back to "face oasis" its just the best! Recently my co-workers found out that I am 42 and they were all very suprized, they had me pegged for around 29 or 30 !

I got this after looking for a good, natural, affordably priced moisturizer and reading reviews on Amazon. It does work well, has a nice smell, but I was disappointed to see parabens and other synthetic ingredients on the packaging. Did not see the full list here, so if others are looking for all natural products, just be aware. Otherwise, I've been using it in 90+ degree summer humidity and it moisturizes without feeling too heavy, yet it seems to last most of the day.

After trying the H2O Oasis Mist (which is also spectacularly good), I tried this one when I needed a night cream. It immediately makes my skin feel great and soft--and in the morning, it's just as good. It feels great going on - almost cold, and so smooth - not greasy at all.

My husband has the driest of skin, he has tried nearly everything on the market and nothing has worked to help repair his dry skin. I finally bought the H2O Oasis, because I myself like some of their other products and thought why not, let's try it. Well, he scoffed when I handed it to him, but eventually tried it, the difference was immediate. He Loves it... We no longer go anywhere without "the Cream". - Face Oasis - Dry Skin - H2o Plus - H20'

I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with this set! I seriously doubted how something that inexpensive could cover and protect my iPad 2. It is a good looking leather case too! The smell (which comes from how the leather is processed) goes away in a few days.

I love the magnetic closure strap, as it really secures it. The ipad2 fits in very securely, and The case doesn't add size to the iPad, so it still fits in my purse and briefcase. I haven't figured out half of the extra cords yet, but love the screen protecters and car charger. They could easily charge double the price and I would still consider it a good deal.

I spent 2 weeks looking at cases and was prepared to spend up to $100. I bought this to have some protection until I found what I wanted, but I have stopped searching and am very happy. CrazyOnDigital Full 18 items Accessories Leather Case Charger Screen Protector for Apple iPad 2 2nd Generation 16GB 32GB 64GB 3G Wifi

This is a GREAT deal. You get a ton of stuff for very little money. I bought the set for the leather case. It smelled horrible when I got it, but it was fine after airing out for a few days. The headphones work great. I haven't used anything else, but this is simply a great deal.

I purchased this bundle because it seemed like it would be great protection for a great price.....I was terribly wrong...I had on the blue case with the leather case and I accidentally dropped my iPad from about 3 ft off the ground and the screen cracked all the way across...I will never buy something like this again'

Waterproof Boots

I've been looking for a good pair of waterproof, warm, and sexy winter boots for 3 years now. I've never bought shoes online before and went on a limb with these because they looked so comfortable, and I'm glad I did! They're comfortable, well-made, and will definitely make it through a few winters. I am usually between an 8.5 and a 9 and have narrow feet. I bought a 9 and they fit perfectly with a little extra room for bigger socks or inserts if I wanted to add them. I definitely recommend them to everyone! Timberland Women's 21633 Earthkeepers Grandby Tall Fleece Lined Boot,Black,5.5 M US

this boot has it all....cozy fleece ALL over, totally waterproof, and nice rubber traction for snow. very comfortable and good looking. i have super big calves and can't usually wear high boots, but these are easily adjustable. definitely not to be worn under pants, as they are thick and lumpy looking. i do suggest going up a half size due to all the fleece, and also i never considered myself a wide foot, but i did have to return the B(m) for a c/d width. should last forever, and are stylish to boot.

This boot is very warm and cozy. Comfortable soles. With the fleece inside it, I might go up a half a size from what you would normally wear. Also, the taupe color is more of a true taupe then the color my computer screen interpreted it to be, not as tan as I thought. I wouldn't recommend wearing them without socks, there is a bit of zipper lining that rubs on my ankles.

I read several of the other reviews carefully and selected a 1/2 size up from my normal size since these run small. And because I have a somewhat wider calf and slightly wider feet (although I normally wear a medium shoe) I selected the wide. These boots are a perfect fit. With socks and jeans, loosen up the laces a bit, unzip, step into the boot with your pants or jeans tucked, rezip, readjust laces. Voila! Want to wear them without jeans? Simply tighten the laces. Not only do the boots look terrific, they feel terrific. The arch gives great support, and the fit is so nice I've been wearing them for the past 2 hours. If you're looking for warm, comfortable, stylish boots at a reasonable price, these are for you.

I LOVE this boot! For years I've been wearing Uggs and the last couple of winters have not been too kind to my boots. I decided on trying these because they are cute and waterproof. I read many reviews on many websites and ordered a wide and medium because many said it ran narrow. My feet are between a medium and wide width and I tried both. At first, I felt the medium was fine. But when I walked around the sole is rounded and I felt like I was rolling to the side. And when I tried to pull them off I was literally on my back tugging because I have tightened the laces and the space that was left couldn't free my wider than normal foot. I was laughing and tugging for quite a bit. The wide width worked better for me. The sole was more stable and even after I tightened the laces I could get my fat foot out. The nice thing about them is that I have small ankles and calves and I was able to tighten the laces so the boots looked nice and snug with my jeggings on. The height was perfect for me even though I'm a whopping 5' 2". They are a great buy!

I have two Timberland's boots size 5.5 M US that fits perfectly on me, but the Timberland Earthakeepers Grandby tall Fleece Lined Boot with the same size got small for me, I should had bought half size bigger.

These boots are immediately comfortable. They arrived in the middle of a cold snap so I put them on and went out into the windy, icy world. At the end of the day, my feet were fine: no rawness, no soreness. They never got cold. The laces are sturdy and give a decent amount of control over the tightness of the boots (I prefer tight).

I normally wear size 9s (rarely 8.5s) and I fit perfectly into a 9 with a normal-thickness cashmere sock. For what it's worth, I consider my feet to be slightly wider than normal. Whether I'm right or wrong, the material is very supple and I suspect it will easily adjust to the necessary toe box size.

They treds don't give a lot of traction, but the sole's material is flexible enough to give you a sense of control over your stride. No clunkiness, no heaviness...just you and your cozy cozy feet.

Ordering was nice and easy, shipping was prompt, with no issues. I am more than satisfied with this product. The material is of great quality, the fit is nice, the utility of the boot being waterproof and warm, with great sole traction, makes it for the ideal women's sexy winter boot. I live in Alaska, where the terrain is rugged, and the winters can be harsh, but these boots definitely keep my feet warm and dry, while adding a sexy flare to my winter look! Highly recommend the boots!

I wanted a warm pair of boots that I knew it would fit me (having the lace-up is usually a good choice) and that was waterproof. I got it half a number up, from what I had read on reviews, and it fits perfectly. Enough space for when I want to use a thicker pair of socks. It's warm, and for the bit of rain I've been through since I got them, they work fine!! Not slippery and very comfortable! And they're beautiful!! Definitely the best choice I made on winter boots.

The delivery was even sooner than expected.

This review is based on the size 7 Wide boot. I live in Chicago & was looking for a good, waterproof winter boot. I had ordered these off the timberland official website in a size 7 B (a half size up from my true size) & when they arrived, my foot barely fit them. I was so disappointed because I loved the way they looked. You can tell they are made very well. Unfortunately, no amount of "break in time" was helping & I had to send them back. Then I found these in a wider size on Amazon. I took a risk & purchased them. I could feel the difference as soon as my foot slide in. These boots are AMAZING. The fur lining keeps my toes warm & the waterproofing keeps them dry. They go up to my knee & can easily be worn with any jeans as the lacing is very adjustable. I recommend spraying them w suede protector to keep the dirt & salt off & to really seal in the waterproofing. So far, I've worn these for a month now & not only are they stylish, they are very comfortable to walk in.

You will NOT be disappointed.

A side note: I don't really have a "wide" foot, but it seems that Timberland's run very narrow. The wide doesn't seem that much wider than their regular sizes, but it did provide more toe room & the ability to wear thicker socks for when its very cold.'

Amethyst Key Pendant

Looks great, it looks just like the picture, or maybe better. You don't have to worry about being ripped off, with some discolored plastic swapped in the middle. The Amethyst gem has a great cut, deep purple that glows when light goes in through the back, or reflects off the front. The diamond accents surrounding the gem, give it a little extra dazzle as well, even though they are only accents/shards; it's still nice to know diamonds! are on this thing, and it glitters around the glow of the stone, and also down the key. Purple's a great color, if I could replace the Amethyst with a clear diamond, I wouldn't. Sterling Silver Amethyst Diamond Key Pendant, 18"

I received this for my birthday, since it has my birth stone.I love it and everyone asks me if i have bought it from a designer store. I have had no problems with it. It is well made, stones are well attached, and it looks like it will last for a very long time. I don't care much about the chain part, but it is still a great deal.'

Closet Storage - suit bag, closet storage

Especially for the low price, these clothes bags are great. I rarely wear suits and so I prefer to have them protected from dust. These vinyl bags do that perfectly fine. And they are clear in key places so one can tell which suit is in each bag without having to unzip them. Honey-Can-Do SFT-01243 Vinyl Suit Bag 42-Inches Tall, White

I was honestly expecting something far lower in quality, very surprised at the quality and size of these. A bargain for covering jackets, coats, suits, sweaters etc. etc. Highly recommend these and I WILL buy more! - Suit Bag - Closet Storage - Garment - Clothes Bag'

Do you know what you get with this massive 11 disk collection? Absolutely nothing you wouldn't have gotten simply getting the individual disks. Three disks are dedicated to Cars, and by that I mean you get the same move on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital copy. Cars 2 is the same only you also get a 3D Blu-Ray Disk and a Blu-Ray bonus features disk in addition to all the rest. The third "movie" is Mater's Tall Tales, which is only about 90 minutes worth of content when you include all the special features, also sports BD, DVD and digital copy disks.

This is no special Director's Cut or Alternate Scenes type edition like the name Director's Edition may imply. The only thing I can find to give it that moniker is a toy car the set includes that was in Cars 2. This car was director John Lasseter's "screen debut", and that's just about all it is. There are no features exclusive to this collection other than the novelty box and die cast "John Lassetire" car. And I'm betting even that will end up being in toy stores eventually. Sure you can say the digital copies for the original Cars movie and Mater's Tall Tales are exclusives, but that's only temporary until the next release of those disks. Trust me.

The price point is too iffy for me to say this is a good deal when trying to get the whole collection at once. Do you really need a 3D disk if you don't have a 3D television? Are digital copies worth that much to get this collection instead of the cheaper separate disks? Then you have the fact the collection is put in a keepsake style case that looks very much like it will just be foam inserts much like the Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box Collection (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy). At the very least it would take up much more shelf space than the individual disks. So for the casual fan I have to say no. Nothing to see here. This is only for the big Cars fans who want the collectible appeal of this collection. Cars Director's Edition (Cars / Cars 2 / Mater's Tall Tales) (Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)

11 DISC SET! With 3D, Blu-ray, DVD's and Digital Copies of both films and Tall Tales. If you are a Cars fan or just love the Cars series, then this is the box set to go! By the way, this comes out in 11/1/11. - Willy Wonka - Gene Wilder - Family Films - Classic Movie'

Nikon Digital Cameras - digital camera, nikon

UPDATE: 1/11/2011 - Because there are so many comments asking the same question I decided I should add this to the beginning to save you agony. This camera is poor in low-light and not the greatest for taking shots of kids running around or in situations where you need to quickly take multiple shots. Having said that, this camera has an absolutely amazing zoom, optics are top notch, macro mode is incredible and great video recording is possible as well. I've taken thousands of beautiful photos with this camera. You need to work with this camera and it will reward you handsomely. But read through as many comments as you can because there is a lot of discussion that may interest you. And now on to my original review...

I have two types of cameras that I generally use, small point & shoots, like the Canon Canon PowerShot SD600 6MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom for "take anywhere" convenience and DSLR's which for me currently is the Nikon D300 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)

If you have any questions about the camera, leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer you. Please note that I have updated my review with some additional observations on 3/29/2010 based on my continued experiences with the camera.

I wanted to get a camera that was SDHC compatible (the SD600 is not SDHC compatible, while the D300 uses CF cards) so that I could use the Eye-Fi wireless card Eye-Fi 4GB Share Video SDHC Wireless Flash Memory Card EYE-FI-4SV with it. I've had excellent results with small Canon point & shoot cameras over the years but the Nikon L110 caught my eye and I decided to buy it. It is substantially larger than the svelte Canon SD600, yet much smaller and lighter than my D300. It's called a "bridge" camera by some people since it has some qualities reminiscent of a DSLR at the expense of being as small and pocketable as a typical "point & shoot" camera. Consequently, depending on where you are on the scale of novice to professional photographer and how pocketable you need your camera to be, this camera may either thrill you or leave you wanting something else. I'm somewhere in the middle.

There is a lot to like about this camera. It has a very nice feel in the hand and the rubberized grip makes you feel secure holding the camera. The large 3" LCD display is gorgeous... it is bright, sharp and has excellent dpi not normally found in a camera of this price range. It also works quite well outdoors due to the fact that it has an anti-reflective coating on it. However the camera lacks an optical viewfinder which I do miss as I am more accustomed to using a viewfinder than not. The lack of a viewfinder is not a deal-breaker for me though. 12.1 megapixels gives you ample file size to make huge enlargements or lots of room for cropping. And the awesome zoom, from the 35mm equivalent of 28mm-420mm gives you an amazing range. It's not normally even possible to hand-hold a camera and expect a very sharp image if you are zoomed to 420mm, or even 300mm, but with the great VR and Motion Detection incorporated into the camera, you can actually hand-hold at that extreme and get usable images. I was impressed with that. If you use a tripod at those extremes, then be sure to turn off the VR or you will get poor pictures. This is always the case with electronic VR... you never want to use it when also using a tripod since it is intended to compensate for your hand shake and when you're on a tripod, there is no hand shake to correct so it is not necessary or desirable to have VR on.

The L110 has a minimal number of buttons and control pads which makes it a very approachable camera to use. Of course, the downside to that is you need to delve into the menu to get to some other features or controls that you may want to fiddle with. Again, coming from the D300, I found this a bit frustrating but someone more used to a point & shoot might not mind or even think about that as much.

What I like specifically about the camera is that I can take stunning photographs with little thought. Using the default "easy auto mode" lets you get started taking photos with little to worry about. Just frame your subject and press the shutter button. But you may not want to keep the camera in that mode all the time because it does come with some limitations that you need to be aware of. Easy Auto Mode automatically determines what you are trying to accomplish then sets the "scene" to what the camera thinks is the appropriate setting... it may not always be correct. And I noticed that auto-focus may not always work correctly especially when trying to shoot closeup images in easy auto mode. So in those cases you can switch to "auto mode" or manually select the "scene" to the mode you specifically want, such as "close-up, portrait, landscape, backlight, etc"

The macro mode on this camera is excellent. You can get as close as .4 inches from your subject and this is fantastic if you are into macro photography. I will post some sample photos in the customers images area for you to see.

I like that the camera can be turned on directly in playback mode simply by pressing the playback button instead of the on/off button. The advantage to doing this is that if you just want to view photos/videos on the camera, the lens remains retracted. Otherwise if you turn the camera on using the on/off button, then press the playback button, the lens first extends then goes into playback mode.

The flash does not automatically flip up when needed like some cameras of this style. That's not a bad thing, just something you need to know. If the camera determines that flash is necessary, it does display a message on the LCD screen informing you to "Raise The Flash."

The buttons on the back of the camera only require a very light touch. At first this annoyed me a little bit as they felt overly "touchy". But I quickly grew accustomed to the lighter touch and now must say I like it.

Video quality is very very good, especially in outdoors and well-lit situations. Low light results in more grain than I would like to see, but since this is not a dedicated video camera, nor expensive, it is acceptable. The audio recorded in video mode (stereo by the way) is very good too.

UPDATE: I've been using the movie mode more extensively since my original review and have changed my opinion of the audio and video quality. The low light performance of video recording is not very good at all and results in -very- noisy (grainy) video. I've also noticed a significant muffled quality to the sound that is especially noticeable when just a persons voice is recorded. Recording where the ambient noise levels are high, such as when outside, masks this somewhat. But when recording video in more quiet surroundings, a single sound source such as voice will present the distortion, hiss or whatever you want to call it, at much more noticeable levels and is not what I would call good quality at all. On a scale of 1-10 I'd have to rate the audio quality about a 4. There is no capability to attach an external mic, nor would I expect that for a camera in this price range. The audio quality is quite disappointing to me now though, especially when compared to my Canon SD600 that has extremely clear, distortion free (mono) audio. Finally, I also heard some zoom induced mechanism noise while zooming and recording video.

One feature that really appeals to me is the "small picture" option. If you take a lot of photos that eventually end up on the web, you can have the camera make a smaller sized copy of any photo that you have taken... either 640x480, 320x240 or 160x120. I find this really helpful because if you take your original photo at a lower resolution, then that's what you're stuck with forever. But with this feature you can take your photos at the highest resolution then have the camera make a re-sized copy of the photo at the resolution you specify. I build websites so this is very helpful for me as I don't have to spend as much time in Photoshop resizing photos destined for the web.

There are a slew of other features, such as "blink warning", automatic red-eye fixing, smart-portrait mode, sport continuous mode (pretty cool feature that will take up to 20 continuous photos at 11.1 fps) and even more. Regarding the Sports Continuous Mode; this mode reduces the image quality/size to a maximum of 3Megapixels and is not going to give you razor sharp images that you would get in other modes. But consider it's purpose... to get a shot that would otherwise be nearly impossible using this level of camera. It takes a burst of photos to enable you to hopefully get a decent action shot out of a series of shots taken at a moment in time. The ISO is also increased to 640 in this mode which does inject more noise into the final image. This is common to small sensor cameras such as this. You really want to keep the ISO at as low a value as possible to reduce "noise" in the photo. Increasing the ISO increases the sensitivity of the sensor and this is what causes the increased noise... think of it as distortion when you turn the volume up to high.

I'd have to write a book to cover all the features in detail. But one more feature that I'll mention is Panorama Assist which is handy when composing a series of shots intended to be a panorama. It provides a ghost image of the previous shot to help you align the next shot you want to take in your series of photos destined to be a panorama.

Nikon includes several software titles including Panorama Maker Pro by ArcSoft. I was happy with the results that Panorama Maker Pro produced; it was easy to use and flexible in what you can do with it.

Battery life is quite good. The camera uses 4-AA batteries, either alkaline, Ni-MH, or lithium. That makes it convenient if you have dead batteries since AA batteries can be purchased anywhere. Proprietary batteries often provide longer life, but once they're dead, so are you if you don't have a charger or second charged battery with you.

A few issues for me with the camera is that I am frequently wanting to manually focus the camera and that is not possible. Another issue is that other than setting ISO and exposure compensation, there is little else you can manually do to control the camera. You cannot manually set the shutter speed or aperture. Concerning ISO, when it is set to 3200 or 6400 the image mode settings are limited to 3 megapixels 2048x1536, PC 1024,768 or VGA 640x480.

Overall I like the Nikon L110 quite a bit. The photos are excellent and HD video is a nice extra although you won't be too happy with lower light video quality and the audio capabilities are not the best. It strikes a nice balance between a simple point & shoot camera and a larger and substantially more expensive DSLR. It's a product that because of it's price point, will not meet everyone's expectations. If you desire excellent video from this camera, you'd be better off spending more and getting something that is video-centric. If you view this as predominantly a camera that also has the ability to take video, then you'll probably be OK with this. If you are expecting this under $300 camera to also excel at taking movies with awesome audio, you will not be happy. Concessions will have to made at this price point.

UPDATE: 4/4/2010- Just a brief update regarding battery life using plain old Alkaline batteries. I took over 300 photos plus 20-30 movies of varying length and did quite a bit of viewing before the batteries died. That's not bad for regular Alkaline batteries. Consider also that I am also using the Eye-Fi wireless SDHC card in the camera that automatically uploads any photos or movies through my wireless network so that is also putting a drain on the batteries. Without the card, I would expect even better battery life than what I've reported. You'd get much longer life with Lithium and of course rechargeable NiMH batteries would probably be the best long-term bang for the buck.

UPDATE: 4/22/2010- I've uploaded a few video snippets from the L110 on YouTube. Just search for "Nikon L110 Video Sample". They will not win any Academy Awards for cinematography but just a really quick indication of video quality. Sorry for the wind noise, but it was quite breezy outside. Bic Mechanical Pencils - bic mechanical pencils, pencil

My highschooler will only use mechanical pencils. In this day and age teachers don't usually like students to sharpen pencils during class anyway. There a variety of colors. The grips are comfortable. She hasn't complained about the lead breaking like she usually does with mechanical pencils. The plastic seemed a little thin or flimsy to me but she hasn't said anything about them breaking and she is hard on her supplies. She seems very satisfied with them. I would buy them again.
