Ipod Touch 4th Generation Case - anti-glare, ipod touch 4g case

With several low-cost options for screen protectors, I ordered a few different kinds not knowing what to expect. Like some others, this one had roughly an equal number of one-star and five-star reviews. This protector, from TDC-Direct, was the first to arrive, so it was the first one I tried. The application instructions seemed self explanatory, so I did not bother with the on-line video. The firm, removable backing on both sides made proper alignment a snap. There was a couple of small bubbles at first, but they smoothed out easily. I am now getting great protection with no sign of peeling. Each protector even came with its own microfiber for pre-application cleaning. Considering I got three of these for less than two bucks including shipping, this is easily a five-star purchase for me. Three LCD Screen Guards / Protectors for Apple iPod Touch 4 / 4G / 4th Gen

Well I don't really know why all this people had trouble with this protector, but ill give my review! so it shipped in like 4days! When i got it I thought ''Well lets see if it works'' and so there was a paper with a youtube link on it just to HELP YOU and to apply this correctly, I followed the instructions and it worked! no bubbles, nothing! And it looks like it doesnt have any protector! so I recomend you to buy this one, at the end its just $1 and FOLLOW instructions! and you'll see no you wont get any bubbles and it will look great! I still have the first protector ON and I'll tell you that it will be there for a long time cause it just WORKED!

Nobody listen to the negative reviews. This product works fine...The reviews that bubbles appeared behind the protector are only evident of someone who does not know how to apply the protectors or does not have a clean screen to begin with. The screen has to be absolutly clear of any dirt or dust particles or it WILL leave little bubbles, so make sure the screen is completely clean before you apply. I cleaned my screen off very well and applied the protector from one corner to the opposite corner and i do not have one bubble...Fits perfect.

This product is alright. I purchased their screen protectors for my HTC Hero about 4 months ago, and am still on the first one (it doesn't have any scratches!). That being the case, I came back to them when I purchased an iPod Touch (4th gen). The screen protectors are still the same quality, still easy to put on and handle, but there is a second hole on the screen protector on the top right. It has a hole for the camera in the top center, and a hole for the button on the bottom center. I assume this third one is for something in the iPhone, but with this product being marketed towards the iPod, you would think they would alter it enough to properly cover the entire screen.

That being said, the hole is barely noticeable, and you can't see it at all in the images Amazon provides. It's still a good product, I was just surprised to find an extra opening in the product and didn't want other consumers to go through the same surprise.

Other than the fact that it took me two tries to get the screen lined up correctly with the holes, this was a really great product. The application was simple and i only had one bubble on the entire screen. The only advise i can give to make this product better for potential buyers is: Read the Instructions.

I read many of the reviews that were very neg. about this product. I am not sure what the problem was that they were having but it worked great for me. If I had no issues applying then anybody can do it. I know nothing when it comes to this stuff. Maybe they did not read the directions. I think for the money this was a great deal and worked as described.

No instructions with the Guards. If you haven't put some on before, you will have to look up how to do it. Even so, I messed up the first one. The second one went on OK. They do seem to scratch easily. But for the price they are worth it as long as you expect to change them every so often.

Good product. The only thing I didn't like about it was the process of sticking it on the screen because it leaves you with a messing ending. It takes a litlle cleaning. Overall good product and would recommend to any one with Ipod touch 4

Good screen protectors for the low price they were at (Apple charges 10 times what I ended up paying this vendor). They're cut exactly to the iPod Touch's screen size and don't interfere with the operation of the device. The corners don't peel and the material doesn't scratch easily. What more can you ask?

Item arrived and right away I had a bad feeling as the English used on the package was rather poor. Following the application instructions found out that things did not make any sense besides the fact that the "applicator" cardboard used to smooth the guard was not included either. The screen guards had two sticker tabs (blue and red) attached and they read: "remove before applying the guard"; that did not make sense because then you couldn't peel the "cover film" from the guard if you remove them prior to the application. After going through the second guard and finally having it attached to the iPod, when attempting to remove the (blue) sticker left on the guard it did not come off completely leaving half of the paper on and a very difficult to remove layer of glue. Finally cleaned the glue but several air bubbles of air were impossible to remove. Not very happy with this thing - Anti-glare - Ipod Accessories - Ipod Touch 4g Case - Ipod Touch 4th Generation'

Ipod Shuffle - armbands, ipod shuffle accessories

The problem with this item is that it was made for the earlier version on iPod Shuffle, so it does NOT fit on newer shuffles. Microsoft, in thier infinate wisdom, changed the clip size on the back of the shuffle so that even though it looks exactly the same the clip is smaller and there for the clip on this arm band is to big to fit the new shuffles on. Unless you want to cut it down to size do not buy this for the new shuffles Griffin Tempo Armband for iPod shuffle 2G (Light Gray)

I like the convenience of this, however, sometimes it makes my arm a bit numb, even though it's not too tight. If I loosen it, then it's too loose and falls down my arm. But still, it's a good product and more convenient than just clipping the shuffle to my shirt.

It also comes in very handy if I'm doing my own workout and wearing my shuffle (so it doesn't bounce around). Great price too!

Its a shame that this product doesn't fit my Shuffle... I even fished the package out of the trash to double check the picture to make sure it was the same kind of shuffle. Ya, Griffins' patented locking mechanism is useless if you can't put the device in the armband. I ended up breaking the clip and using the thing anyways....

I ordered this as a gift, along with a 4G IPod, based on Amazons suggestion. When both arrived I found this armband only fits a 2G IPod and not the 4G. It appears to be a well constructed band but is worthless to me. Amazon, you need to remove this as a suggestion on your 4G ad. - Armbands - Ipod Shuffle Accessories - Zulma - Armband'

Digital Radio - digital, sangean

I am a letter carrier for the post-office and my pocket radio was my constant companion. In this age of MP3 players and

I-pods, it would seem that the AM /FM pocket radio had become extinct. No electronics store, even in New York City could offer a reasonable replacement for my worn out AIWA CR-LD100. I thought my radio days on the route were over. In desperation I searched the web and came upon the SANGEAN DT-120. If you are looking for a pocket sized, lite-weight radio that offers outstanding reception when you are on the move, then this is it. Only slightly bigger than the AIWA but not bulky at all. The reception is outstanding and there is plenty of volumn. With 5 preset buttons for 2 FM bands and 1 AM, you get 15 presets. The controls are not complicated at all. The on/off button is at the top, on the edge, and the volume toggle is directly below it(maybe a little too close to the on/off). On the front face, 4 buttons control the band selector, x-tra bass, and manual tuning. The digital display is plenty big and highly visible. Across the top edge are the TINY and close set, preset buttons. You can easily cover two of them with one finger tip, so you need a light touch. Its the only feature that is problematic for me, but in no way is it a deal breaker. The AM receiver is quite sensitive and easily pulls in distant stations, especially at night. Which is perfect if you like to search for sporting events from local stations in far away cities. The FM stereo is superb, loud ,clear, with lots of seperation. The sound quality of the ear buds is excellent, but because I walk all day I needed to replace them with the type that hook around my ears. I use this radio all day sometimes 10 hours a day, and the battery lasts about a week and a half. I never thought I would find a radio as good as my AIWA, but the Sangean DT-120 does the job for me. Sangean Dt-120 White Pocket Am/Fm Digital Radio (White)

This is a delightful little radio. It has excellent FM and AM reception. It even rivals my Denon receiver at home for pulling in some of the weaker stations. The controls are intuitive and easy to use and the radio is also surprisingly light. Battery life is also great.

Overall one off the best purchases I've made this year. I'm very impressed.

I have had this unit for a couple of months. So far I am very pleased with its performance.

I bought this unit because of all the positive reviews for the tuner. And this unit does not dissapoint in this regard. A local sports team has a low power radio broadcast within their arena. A cheap $10 radio could barely get the station, much less provide a listenable broadcast. The Sangean pulls the broadcast in perfectly. The Sangean even outperforms the factory radio in my Toyota Tacoma. The digital tuner and readout is a huge upgrade from the cheaper radios with their analog tuners.

This is an excellent radio for the size and price. I live in the middle of nowhere (translation is north west Minnesota in the woods) but it can pull very strong AM and FM signals.

The only thing this radio needs is to have clock to display time, otherwise it is perfect delivery of what Sangean has promissed.

This thing is smaller than a deck of cards but really delivers. I am pulling in a AM station clearly that two big boom box type radios I own will not, and one's a Sony the other an Emerson. You turn this radio on in two different modes. If you just press and release the on/off button, it will turn itself off in ninety minutes. If you turn it on by holding in the on button for a couple of seconds it will stay on indefinitely. It has three band settings, AM FM1 and FM2 and they all have five presets easily set so you can program a total of fifteen presets. Searching for stations is easy, you can click the up or down buttons or hold them down to scan for a station. You add them to a preset button by just holding down the preset button for a couple of seconds until you hear a beep. It has a stereo/mono switch for ear bud listening and a rocker switch for raising or lowering the volume. It has a DBB (Bass) button that really works. Lastly it has a lock switch so that absolutely nothing can be changed (station/volume etc.) accidentally. Runs on one AAA battery. When turned on all settings are clearly shown on the LCD screen. I use a pair of Skull Candy ear buds and the sound quality is very good, i don't like the large button ear buds that are typically included with sound equipment. I'm happy as a clam with mine and it will be in my pocket most of the time.

This is great little radio. It is my second one. I lost my first one after several months. It was working perfectly when I lost it(subsequently found, now I have two). The radio doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles(tone control, cock etc), but it has a great reciever, plenty presets, fits easily in a pocket, and only requires one aaa battery. The automatic shut off after 1 hr is great because it saves the battery. You just have to turn it back on once an hr.

I listen to it in bed at night, in the doctors waiting room, and during excercise. It is totally adequate if you just want basic. Great! - Portable Radio - Sangean - Digital - Am-fm'

Pain Management - fibromyalgia, stress relief

I see the American reviewers are much more positive about the mat than the British. But I agree with you Americans on this point.

I have used it naked (otherwise I can't feel the spikes) and up to an hour at a time, though I began gradually.

At first it feels extremely painful. though I suspect this appplies only to us unhealthy people who are already suffering from this and that and have intense need of stimulation of the various points. (My 12-year old granddaughter when trying out a Shakti cushion claimed she felt no pain when using it while other members of the family - adults - felt it to be extremely uncomfortable.) However after about ten minutes, generally, the pain subsides and one can hardly feel it. In my case, however, when using the mat on the buttocks, firstly, it was more painful than usual, and secondly, the pain at first did not subside, though it does now slightly, though only after a long time.

When exposing only the back area to the mat, after about ten minutes I generally feel a wonderful, extremely comfortable inner heat spread throughout the area, similar to leaning on a hot water bottle, but as stated a deep inner warmth. The feeling is almost orgasmic - it feels like the exposed cells are feeling ecstatic, and extremely satisfied. This is a wonderful feeling - in fact I'm becoming addicted to use of this mat!

I suffer from MS and several other auto-immune diseases. I had had most of my left buttock numb for several years. After about three applications of the mat on my back (not buttocks) suddenly my left buttock felt normal. This was fantastic. Also when being scanned with something called Meta therapy (a treatment used in Russia and other East European countries for about 20 years in their hospitals - something I get done regularly in Denmark where I live - but not administered by doctors!), it could be seen that my heart and circulation were extremely improved, apparently functioning perfectly. The therapist found it amazing and told me to use the mat twice a day from then on. However, I don't generally do that.I use it when I can, and when I feel like it. But the improvement that occurred did so after only a handful of "treatments".

Sometimes I feel extremely relaxed after using the mat, though I don't always notice this effect.

I'm not saying this mat is a miracle worker, but it definitely has an extremely beneficial effect, and I feel that users should try it out on various parts of the body. I feel that the more health problems one has, the greater will be the benefit. But even if you do not suffer from severe health problems, use of the mat will surely have an immense preventive effect.

I recommend it highly. Who knows what its use could lead to in the way of dramatic health improvement?

It really is a wonderful product. I use it regularly, with relaxing music, and always feel invigorated afterward. I also take it with me while traveling. 10-15 minutes on my Shakti mat is so restorative! And as far as it being faddish, I understand what the other reviewer is trying to convey...but if you're into maintaining your health or improving it, I recommend it. I've had mine for nearly a year and my husband and I both use it regularly--mostly on our backs, but sometimes on our feet (after lots of sightseeing!). And I can't say that the Shakti is the main reason for my health or well being, but it feels great and I feel wonderful after using it. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend bought this for my anxiety and lower back pain....it hurts at first, but only for a few minutes. Then you feel warm and then you...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I have yet to use this thing without falling asleep. It's great for relaxation. I highly recommend it--might really work for insomniacs!

The Shakti Mat is simply amazing! This is the original Swedish spike mat and I actually bought mine while I was in Sweden last year.

I still use it several times a week when feeling stressed or tense at night and most times I even fall asleep on it :)

It's so relaxing you just melt away...

I received my shakti mat from [...] and I'm very pleased! I've had chronic pain since I was a child but was not diagnosed until my mid-twenties as having hypermobility (which caused fibromyalgia). I've found the shakti mat to be a very helpful pain management solution, particularly since my acupuncture appointments and other alternative means can be quite costly. I've also found it helpful in relieving neck tension and overall stress. While people with no pain or non-chronic pain may have difficulty getting used to the mat and may find it initially uncomfortable, in areas like my back that are very desensitized to pain it took no time at all to get used to it, it actually feels great! I would definitely recommend this product particularly for those who suffer from chronic nagging pain. - Stress Relief - Pain Management - Pain Relief - Fibromyalgia'

Portable Media Player - archos, android tablet

Edit 20110314: I no longer recommend this to anyone. This product is Version 1 running Android 1.5. The new 7HT is Version 2 running Android 2.1.

[...]

The 7HT is the fourth Archos product I've owned. Aside from the Gen 1 Jukebox, 5IMT amd 5IT, I purchased three 7HTs. Two as gifts for friends. Both my friends are technical types, not your average Home Owner to whom Archos markets the 7HT.

Personally, I am very pleased with the 7HT. It does everything I wanted it to do. However, I'm a retired techie and I found workarounds for flaws which would hamper the average Home Owner. I'm also a moderator on the ArchoFans Support Forum and focus on the 7HT forum.

Flaw 1:

As delivered the Archos 7HT cannot create new folders. This flaw prevents using the 7HT as a Digital Photo Frame with the supplied App - Photo Frame. Photo Frame treats folders as "albums" for displaying slideshows.

--Workaround: Install an App like ES File Explorer which can create new folders.

--Conclusion: Works fine for me now.

Flaw 2:

Archos provides the Aldiko eReader. I downloaded two books before I installed an 8G microSDHC card. After I installed the 8G card Aldiko "lost" the books I downloaded previously.

--Workaround: Don't use Aldiko before you install a microSDHC card.

--Conclusion: Works fine now and I have over 100 epub formatted eBooks in Aldiko now.

Flaw 3:

The Archos 7HT has an Unexpected Wake from Suspend every two hours. I had a drop from 81% battery charge to 18% after 4 hours and 36 minutes when I had the Screen Timeout set to Never.

--Workaround: Installed FastBright app to switch to a minimum 5% screen brightness and set the Screen Timeout to 1 minute. With these settings I've experienced only a 3% to 5% battery decrease.

--Conclusion: Works ok now. Only a firmware update will eliminate the Unexpected Wake from Suspend.

Iffy:

Out of the box Video playback did not work for all the videos I tried which did play on my PC under VLC and on my Archos 5IT. Some folks at the ArchoFans forum have no problems and others have plenty of video problems.

--Workaround: Convert videos via a PC program. I've found one group of settings which work and am still searching for more.

--Conclusion: Works ok for me since I'm more interested in eReading and less in video playback.

Note 1:

The 7HT does not support video out despite what you may read at Amazon or elsewhere.

Note 2:

A USB adapter, micro A male to A Female, is required to use the 7HT as a USB Host for thumb drives, USB keyboards, mice, and powered USB hubs. These adapters are difficult to find as not even Amazon has any. The USB receptacle on the 7HT is micro AB and the supplied USB cable is micro B for USB client mode.

Note 3:

Out of the box the 7HT has no support for WiFi file copies. An App like ES File Explorer provides this.

Note 4:

I doubt if Archos will provide additional firmware updates to correct the "flaws" I mentioned above. They outsourced the Android development and are working on the new Gen 8 software.

Note 5: (Update 20100923)

In mid-September Archos did update the firmware. While I've seen no corrections for the "flaws" AF forum members and I have found the touchscreen to be more responsive and satisfying.

Conclusion:

If you're an average Home Owner and want the 7HT to "work" out of the box, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. If you have a gadget or Android or techie background the 7HT should work for you and at $200 is a great value. I recommend you join a forum like ArchoFans to get the most from your 7HT. For example, recently one of our ArchosFans members got the Google Android Market working on the 7HT.

Allen Archos 7 8GB Home Tablet with Android (Black)

As others have said, it's a good value for $200. But I take that a little bit further and say that I'd rather have this gadget than the $500 iPad. Why? Here's why.

-It is smaller and almost half the weight. This makes it comfortable to hold and view with one hand, which is difficult with the iPad. I plan to hold on to it and watch videos while stationary biking at the gym, which would be difficult with a bigger tablet.

-The screen is matte. It has much less glare than the iPad.

-I use it mainly to watch videos. In this capacity, it excels, supporting more video formats than the iPad, and coming in a widescreen format instead of 4x3.

-It does most things as well or nearly as well as the iPad. Aldiko is a great ebook reader, you can download Swype to make typing super fast, videos and music play great, etc.

-It plays youtube and flash videos if you use the Skyfire browser.

Of course, there are drawbacks. I wouldn't give it a low rating though because it's missing features that only come with $500 tablets.

-The screen is resistive, and occasionally doesn't register your tap. This improves with time, if you turn on the click-on-tap sound setting.

-The Android marketplace doesn't work from the device. To get apps beyond the basic ones, you must either install another marketplace (like Slideme) or search around the web.

-The chip is supposedly slower to lower the pricepoint. I haven't noticed this much.

So for a student, or younger working type without much cash, this is an insane buy. Tons of tablets will be coming out this year, but this one works perfectly fine and may still be cheaper than anything else coming out for a long time. 7 inches is a perfect size right in between small phones and big iPads, and I've enjoyed using it in various situations during the week I've owned one.

Blu-ray Player - samsung, 3d

Owned it for about a week so far. I read the other reviews and have not seen or experienced any of the same issues they have had with regards to apps and disc playability. There were however two firmware updates that I downloaded automatically after bootup and installed - these probably fixed the issues that others have seen. So far it has been a great player with fast loading and nice apps. It interfaces well with my Samsung HDTV and have only experienced good things with it. I tried many different Bluray discs including Avatar and have had no problems. I would recommend.

(UPDATE 7-7-11)

Downgraded from 5 stars to 1. The player took a dump on me...in a general sense. A couple of blu-rays were not playing back well (or at all). Mr. & Mrs. Smith had constant juttering of the picture, Knight and Day would give us an error saying that a software update was required by the manufacturer (had the latest firmware btw). I called Samsung customer support and they had me jump through all the hoops to determine that something was wrong with the player and they wanted me to mail it to them for repairs ect... Instead I called up the local store where I bought it and exchanged it for the Sony BX-58.

It was a very nice player until it wasn't. Samsung BD-D5500 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (Black)

I just received this player from Amazon three days ago. There are certain features of this product that exceed my expectation.

1.The Blu-ray disk reading is very fast. This is compared to the Panasonic DMP-DB60 Blu-ray that I had previously. This one is almost 10 times faster than the Panasonic DMP-DB60. I am very pleased by its fast reading capability.

2.You can connect a mass storage device to this machine to the USB port. I initially thought the USB ports were for small storage devices such a flash drive or thumb drive, like many earlier version Blu-ray/DVD players. But after I tried to plug a 500GB external hard drive into it, all the multi-media files on the drive were quickly recognized by the player. The reading was fast. I was pleasantly surprised by that.

3.Besides its high quality video output, the audio output is also very powerful. I connect this player to my "Logitech Z-5500 THX-Certified 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker System", which is the best PC audio system that I have had so far (perhaps the best in the market). The sound is much more powerful than if the PC output is used. I had to tune the volume down by 1/3 of the normal level so that it won't shake the wall too much.

4.It plays many video formats and supports many codecs. It's the first Blu-Ray/DVD player that plays mkv video file that I've seen in the US market.

Please note that in order to have the subtitle of a video file to be read by the machine, you have to make sure the file name of the subtitle (with the extension of .sub or .srt) must be the same as the video file name. I didn't do that earlier. After I tried to play several video files, I figured it out myself, which made me more pleased with this product. I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.

I bought this player along with "Samsung UN55D7000 LED TV", which has several USB ports by itself. After a few days of use, I realized that the USB capabilities of this Blu-player and the TV are overlapped. But I was still impressed by the new technology.

Good:

Quick Boot

Plays the content it advertises

Looks sleek and has the newest collection of Samsung Apps

Bad:

Not sure if it's because this is new but the Hulu Plus & Netflix apps stutter uncontrollably. I brought this player to replace an excellent earlier Samsung model which never had this problem. It is so bad that a video could go 10-15 minutes without audio or out of sync. Sometimes the video will play in slow motion with no audio. I thought it was the apps' fault so I pulled up Netflix on my earlier Samsung blu-ray player and had no issues. Also pulled up Hulu Plus on a Sony blu-ray player and did not have the same issue. I have a 17 Mbps connection (actual speed not advertised) and the part that drives me up the wall is that Hulu Plus ads work perfectly on this player. Again, this must be the player because my other blu-ray players do not have this issue and the website does not either.

I have AV receivers and a nice home theater setup so since most blu-ray players play content very well and just bitstream audio to my receiver, the main difference will always be apps and this player was a dissapointment.

I have noticed this player to be the MOST RETURNED

Blue Ray Player Samsung makes.

I've been to Best Buy and CompUSA.

My findings have been from November of 2010 to Sep 2011.

Bunch of returns on the shelf every time

I go into the stores.

Excellent integration with a Samsung LED TV I bought at the same time; both have network ability and after a few days of testing it out I prefer to use the BluRay network (the sound is setup to go through the HT receiver, while the TV still outputs to speakers; I realize I could setup the TV to output through the speakers, but will have to drag some Toslink through the wall...)

The 'network' function is implemented well - you can get the IP address and other network information easily, and test your connection. The only thing missing is a measure of network speed (which can be done through its web browser).

One star was removed due to the terrible Samsung 'Allshare' software. I have a Win7 machine in my home office, with a speedy wired connection to an Apple Airport Extreme router. The BluRay player is connected via wire to a wireless bridge (a Trendnet wireless bridge I found at Amazon [...]) as it is too difficult to get Ethernet wiring to the family room (slab basement, brick exterior and a second floor on top so basically no crawlspaces at all).

Anyway the idea is to stream photos, music, and video from the main unit to the bluray player via this DNLA 'Allshare' software, and it is terrible! One hour after installation it is still grinding away at my fast office PC indexing >5,000 files (it didn't give me a choice to limit what it was indexing, incredible). Anyway after some research I cancelled the indexing, and installed Servioo instead, which is an open-source package for doing the exact same thing.

Bingo - it appears under 'My Contents' and 'Video'/'Photos'/'Music' and you have the choice to select the now-found 'Servioo' device, and from there can drill down into the folders you have specified. Just about instantaneous after setting up the software on the main PC, and easy-peasy.

I'm able to stream many file formats via DNLA, browsing folders and music is fine, and I'm going to have a lot of fun with the home movies accessed via the big screen. The kids will get a big kick out of seeing themselves more than life-size.

I understand the need to save money (and trees) by not providing a printed manual, but I'm getting too old to be reading 74 pages of a manual!

Anyway this player is so much better than the super-cheap (and non-networked) Philips player that it is replacing. I really like the Samsung apps (although admittedly only played around with Hulu Plus and not Netflix, yet); navigating an on-screen keyboard with the remote is an exercise in frustration though (for YouTube searches). The 3D function is fun (took advantage of a Shrek + glasses promotion) although it is a bit gimmicky, and nonetheless we got the higher-end system mainly for the networking ability.

I'm looking forward to many years of networked fun with this. - Blu-ray Player - Samsung - Blu-ray Disc Players - 3d'

Electric Scissors - tools, crafts

The SZ360 (item on this page) includes:

-3.6V scissors, universal cutting blade, and charger.

The SZ360T includes:

-3.6V scissors, universal cutting blade, fabric cutting blade, table mount & charger.

I picked this up at my local Sears and found that it didn't include a table mount or an additional blade that a lot of people talked about on here. Home Depot offers the SZ360T online for the same price.... something to keep in mind. Black & Decker SZ360 3.6-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Power Scissors

Took me forever to track down these blades. I can't believe no one has done this previous to me and saved us all the work by posting where to buy them here.

Well here ya go - work done.

Here is the elusive part number, which you need to have to order replacements from DEWALT's website (even though they are Black and Decker, you get the replacements from Dewalt.)

Part #5140027-49 Blade Assembly "Shoe Blades" $7.20

http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=62275&tid=14211

Hi Folks,

I purchased these scissors after seeing them advertised on the (....) tube. After seeing the price I figured what could I lose I mean really, I've spent more on lottery tickets and ended up with nothing to show for it. I charged the scissors for 12 hours as per the instructions and then went on a cutting frenzy! <LOL> Trust me folks, there was not a safe magazine, cardboard box or plastic carton for 2 miles that I didn't chop to bits with these things. The power of the scissors is really quite amazing considering their size and weight and they fit your hand like a glove. The only thing I could think of to improve this product (More like a wish) is to have a holster for them that you can wear on your belt like a cowboy and his trusty six-shooter. Yep, there would have been a very different outcome at the O.K. Corral if I had been there with my powered scissors. <LOL>

Ok so enough blabbering, the scissors are a great product at a good price, just be careful not to become a power scissor bandito or you and I are going to have it out on the white paper of life! <LOL>

Ciao!

The Black and Decker Cordless Power Scissors, along with Black and Decker's Cordless Screwdriver

and the Black & Decker Handisaw were just what we were in the market for. While I had often thought about buying them in the past, this seemed to be a perfect time to finally make the purchase. Just in time to use for the cutting and wrapping of our family Christmas presents. Because my wife has a plate in her wrist using regular scissors is sometimes, literally, a pain for her. Not so with the Black and Decker Cordless Scissors. She has said these just glide right through. She doesn't have to work the scissors, she said she just holds them and goes along for the ride! Not having any wrist or hand fatigue to deal with is a blessing. Works as smooth as a knife through butter! ~ The Boss (Mrs. B. agrees!)

This came out of the box fully charged and ready to go. Cuts through the hard plastic case it came in like a hot knife through butter. The Cordless Power Scissors makes a great gift for anyone, man or woman, who would enjoy saving time and elbow grease. You really won't know how you lived without one.

I saw this product on a christmas commercial where a woman had to open a child's toy that was covered/wrapped in that awful clear plastic. I have two young children and it is such a pain in the neck (and hands!) to open all those christmas toys vaulted in plastic. So, I thought these scissors were my ticket to an easy morning opening all those christmas present. Unfortunately for me, the scissors were not strong enough to cut through the plastic vault it came in! Ugh. I ended-up returning the scissors. If you want to cut anything softer than plastic, then these are great scissors for you!

I bought these before they ever hit the market. I was searching for an easier way of doing the cutting for Rag Quilts and Chenille Quilting. I saw the ad for these in a craft magazine and because of Black & Decker's great reputation I knew I had to have these. For all you people doing rag quilting and chenille quilting, do yourself and your hands a favor and invest in these scissors. You'll soon find out you'll wish you had gotten these sooner. My husband also loves these and I'm going to order 2 more of these sets very shortly. I've told many people about the ease of use of these scissors and also the fact that they will cut not only fabric but tarp material; vinyl and canvas. There just isn't too much stuff out there on the market that these scissors won't cut through and the blade still stays sharp.

I sew and cutting fabric is my least favourite part. This scissors makes the cutting a breeze. So far it has handled heavy material and silky fabric well. The shoe blade works well for cutting on flat services and it's quite maneuverable. I'm glad I got it. - Crafts - Black And Decker - Tools - Scissors'

Power Outage - camping, camp stoves

After a bit of research, me and my girlfriend wanted a camp stove with all the bells and whistles. High output and the grill feature was key. We've had this for over 6-months camping/tailgating all over California and Oregon. Hopefully, this review will help fellow fence-sitters like us:

1) if you're more of a grill person (like me) but need a stove, I suggest the bigger grill and single burner option ('Rainier) is better. This 'Denali' configuration is much better suited for families and larger groups, it's actually near-perfect. When we camped with 8+ people in Big Sur, our stove was the fave to cook with. All three can be churning and burning at the same time,no sweat.

Unfortunately, the center grill is on the small side. So if you plan to grill a quantity of food, this will be very limiting. After some usage, we wished for a larger grill as the two of us rarely used both burners at the same time.

2) the high-output is fantastic. A pot of water boils faster than our home stove. Just in case, bring an extra canister of fuel if you're camping for more than 2.5 days or plan to cook a bunch.

3) overall, this unit has served us very well and we've been mostly satisfied. So to recap the pluses:

(+) better for families / larger camp groups

(+) great feature set with 2 burners / small grill

(+) high output

(+) decent product design & retro-look/color

Now the minuses-- as mentioned earlier, get the bigger grill/single-burner if you want to grill in quantity or larger portions.

-The small grill is also uneven in heat distribution-- there's a big hot spot towards the back which quickly burns food. No problems to move the food around while grilling, but just be aware of it.

-Because of the high-output, the shiny chrome on the stove burners, the grill floor, and burner grate became heat-discolored on the first use. (My designer gripe is why they used shiny chrome on a stove-- it's not durable at all. Brushed metal/aluminum or wrought-iron are better choices.)

-The ignition slowly died on us -- it only works on the right burner. =(

-The flimsy grill surface overheats and loses it's non-stick powers. So you know, it doesn't clean off very easily as advertised. This will likely happen on the bigger grill unit as well, so don't let the non-stick fool ya. (I wish I could find a heavy-duty iron replacement.) =(

Overall it's a very decent camp stove but it has its weak points. Despite the minuses, we love the stove. Good luck and happy camping! =)

p.s.- if you plan to purchase this, definitely get a carry bag. Very convenient and prevents any excess drippings from ruining your auto's interior. Camp Chef Denali 3 Burner Camping Stove

I have to say, all in all, this is a great stove!!! I've owned a coleman two burner that I had to retire and wanted something a little sleeker with more bells and whistles. Voila! Camp chef takes the stage. The outer burners are great, but I kind of wish that the center grill had just a little more BTU output. It made it slightly difficult to cook shish kebabs properly. I'm sure if I was cooking hot dogs or hamburgers, the center grill would have done fine otherwise.

At first glance, the only thing flimsy about this product is the gauge of the hood/door and the side wind reflectors, but it does make the stove a little lighter and honestly, how stiff do you really need them to be. As long as they get the job done and it doesn't fall apart, I'm happy. The hardware and the latches seemed to be of good construction and quality and the main portion/body of the stove is built quite well. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product and have already!

My girlfriend and I are going to be doing a 6 month overland expedition with our toyota truck and needed a great way to cook food. Originally we purchased the Expedition 2 burner stove by Camp Chef. After our first "outing" to test our equipment we found that it was just to big (60lbs), to awkward, and way to powerful. All the food burned on low! So then we went with a coleman 2 burner stove, but found that it burned fuel and had too many little quirks we did not enjoy. So enter the Denali stove. The priority for us was ease of use, cleaning, cooking, and weight. This stove not only hit the nail on the head but it packs in a few extra features as well. The stove heating / ignition system is top notch. However we had some labels made up so we could easily tell the level of the flame for exact cooking. Its not difficult to tell the temp level but by labeling the nob we found cooking much more consistent and the use of fuel was greatly reduced. Next up we loved how the stove literally packed in to itself and had a lid that was secure and everything. It made putting in the back of our vehicle easy and worry free. The grill worked great, and everything was super easy to clean. The windscreen "lid" set up is the second reason why I gate this 4/5 stars. All thought its functional, if your cooking with a 10" pan or larger it causes the burner to be just slightly out of center on the pan. If you were able to put down the side screens then this would be much easier but by doing so you loose the wind protection. Not a big deal, just being picky really. Overall this stove is great for the size and cooking ability. We are usually able to cook a veggie, a side like mashed potatoes, and a protein like meat or fish all at the same time and can usually get 3 meals a day for 4 days out of a single propane (1lb) bottle. We did however upgrade to the 10lb bottle due to the length of our trip.

Tips : Buy the "burner" plates. These little plates are a solid round plate that goes over the burner to more evenly distribute the heat. It creates faster cook times and way way more controlled outcomes. We were amazed at the fuel savings and the outcome of the food. I found some at REI made by backpackers pantry that also had the pot elevators. By using these we were able to put them under the grill when not in use so the whole unit is still self contained. This also helped for spills and clean ups.

Tips: Next I would suggest that if your going to store this item near metal and other items you buy a carry case. The outside of my lid and the sides got completely trashed from bumping in to other items. Not that it hurt anything or caused any dents but the scratches are annoying.

Tips: Lastly I found that the pretty stainless steel shiny look came off really really fast ( using the stove 3 times a day ) so we purchased a little amount of brillo and just used that to clean the stuff off. Kept it much cleaner and looking fine.

I had no rust issues, no ignitor issues, and this stove is working great! - Camp Stoves - Camping - Great Camp Stove - Brunton'

I'm not a tech guy. Just a guy with a computer. I'm running an HP Slimline in a hot, dusty environment. I've gone through three NVidia GeForce 210's. The fan-bearings failed in all three in a matter of months, causing the cards to overheat and fail.

I then tried two EVGA Passive (fanless) 210's. Both failed within 45 minutes.

I've been running HD video through this 5450 for over 24 hours straight now with no problems at all. I think I've finally got a winner. And if I don't, I'll update it here. ASUS EAH5450 SILENT/DI/512MD3(LP) Radeon HD 5450 SILENT 1400 MHz (700 MHz DDR3) Video Card

With rebate the value can't be beat. Upgraded an older sempron system using windows XP. The driver software loaded easily and even HDMI works great. Now I can watch HULU and PBS episodes online, using only 25% of the CPU. This was impossible with the integrated graphics.

The fanless heat sink runs warm; about 60C, but there's no fan to wear out or make noise. As long as your case has reasonable ventilation I don't consider it a problem. - Silent'

Winning Eleven - winning eleven, kickass games

For the record, neither EA nor Konami has made any innovative upgrades to their franchises for many years. Back when Konami wasn't releasing a new game every year, there used to be surprising innovations in the PES franchise. FIFA hasn't changed much in terms of gameplay since FIFA98. So both FIFA and PES are far from what they should be.

If you have been playing FIFA: there is little justification for you to switch. PES 2010 doesn't offer a much more enjoyable experience.

If you have been playing PES: This is the PES that you are used to and love, it's a nice upgrade from PES2009 in almost any aspect of the game.

If you have never played a soccer game before: Take PES, it has better player movements, tactical support, good AI (except for the refs and the goalies). It may lack the realistic feel outside the penalty area that FIFA is slightly better at, but it is much more exciting in the penalty area when it comes to passing and shooting for goals. Goals in FIFA are a bit more boring than PES goals.

Pros

* Slightly improved Become a Legend Mode

* Slightly improved online play

* Much improved Master League

* Much improved graphics

* Much improved tactics and strategy support

* Brit-pop heavy tracks

Cons

* Slow response for some moves and some parts of the field

* Brit-pop heavy tracks Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

For those worried about being disappointed with another poor iteration of PES can rest assure that you won't be disappointed this time around. It's apparent that Konami really listened and actually made huge, noticeable improvements based on gamers' feedback. The graphics are top notch (Rooney, Messi, Torres, Ibra, and other players are uncanny in their resemblance); gameplay is a bit slower and more realistic but not to the point of being dull and laborious. You still get that classic excitement when you hear a big "thump" and a "swoosh" noise when you strike the ball to make that hard earned goal - something that you can't experience with FIFA for some reason even with it's vast superior graphics and official team/player licenses. I'm not a PES fanboy (too old and busy with life) and admit that FIFA have made some huge strides in terms of game realism, graphics, and online play in the past few years. But whenever I have time to play and host games with friends and family, we keep coming back to PES because of its gameplay, not eye-candy.

I'm extremely satisfied with PES 2010 with its much improved graphics, gameplay and most importantly, online play. Thankfully, you no longer need a separate Konami ID. You choose "Online" from the main menu and you're in the Lobby, seconds away from playing someone online. Most of that awful lag is gone this time around with smooth online experience. The game actually disconnects during joining if it detects sub-par connection, not during gameplay or worst, forcing you to play lag plagued game. You still get that "jitter" from time to time (playing people with slow connection) but not to the point of playing with disappearing ball and players. I have played fair amount of online PES 2010 games and my experiences were 95% lag free and enjoyable for the first time.

PROS:

1. Vastly improved graphics and online play

2. Classic PES gameplay with improved controls and animations

3. Slower, more realistic gameplay with easier set piece play

4. Soundtrack - I personally like them

CONS:

1. No licenses but you should know (but not expect)that by now if playing PES

2. Awful hot pink menu selections - it'll hurt your eyes

PES 2010 highly recommended!

I've been playing the franchise since ISS 64. This is definately the most exciting game yet. The gameplay is fluid and feels more like a simulation style compared to last year. Graphics are great, new soundtrack with actual music and a great master league mode. There are small small nuances that get annoying, but that is the case with all footy games. This game does not dissapoint and the editing option to update the licenses is easily taken care of with a US option file. There are many out there already.

Don't go the FIFA route this year. Although it is a good game, which I've played, PES 10 simply delivers the more realistic feel. The demo on the ps3 or 360 network doesn't do the finished product justice by the way.

In recent years PES has been a source of disappointment, with bad next-gen games and lackluster performance following the magnificent PES 6 (2007). FIFA had gained some hype thanks to great marketing by EA Sports - something Konami should watch for and learn from - and was being hailed as the best game. It bothered me how an average game suddenly became magnificent... it's not that FIFA improved so much, it was because it was showing it was trying to improve AND because PES has been dreadful since 2007 on the PS2. Next I am going to go over some points that I've read in too many places, some by biased people, some by people who don't know any better.

How can FIFA have better graphics? It's the same engine as FIFA 2007, graphics not changed since FIFA 2008 and it looks old-gen compared to PES, which even has player hair, skin pores, higher resolution textures, better grass... PES it's better everything in graphics, for example you can even see the tongue-clip of the Adidas boots while in FIFA we have a blurry thing when we zoom in.

Tactics in FIFA are a pain, it's very limited and there's very little freedom to change anything at all, again I don't understand how you can say FIFA is better. PES continues the same format however it adds Player Cards and other very specific sliders (marking, pressure, support...). Player Cards feel useless most of the time as in most cases it will be just one or another attribute which shouldn't make much of a difference.

Soundtrack and Menus: FIFA has a TON of stuff, no denying, however most of it is annoying music to me. Just because it has something from a lot of countries doesn't mean it's good. It's appreciated they do that but more and more I feel they worry about putting some "have-been hits" more than they do about improving the rest. PES has some songs that were hits going back last year but it has a better overall track, more solid, far less annoying songs, lesser known groups but the track choices are good and even I enjoyed some of the upbeat pop/electronic stuff (there are other types too). On Menus, I prefer PES's menus over FIFA, they are straight forward and easier to navigate, finally Konami's overhaul Worked! The menus look very good now, it feels modern and vibrant even though I don't like pink, which does work nice with the black, while FIFA has kept the same format from years back.

Licensing: true, FIFA has a ton of leagues and PES doesn't. We wish it did but we have to make do with the very good selection in Other Teams A, and edit as we wish on Other Teams B. I am actually working on my own Option File to release with a few German and Brazilian teams. However, the UEFA integration is ASTONISHING.

Edit: My Other Teams B- Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen, HSV, Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow, Botafogo, Corinthians, Flamengo, Fluminense, Grêmio, Palmeiras, and São Paulo. Option Files for each region of this game have been released, which update all of the leagues without any hassle for the player.

Editing: PES allows you to edit anything, FIFA makes you buy Live Season which only takes care of a handful of leagues, you won't get to change the stats for vastly underrated players in any other leagues. Want to create a team? PES gives you a lot of freedom, though some options have been gone for a while, PES 2010 has the best editing of the next-gen games (from PES 2007 to 2010). FIFA you cannot change one thing on a team, so if you're stuck with a team having an orange instead of red shirt, or want the goalies to actually wear their real life shirts, you can't. In Other Teams B you can create up to 18 new teams.

Master League is an unmatched game mode. Manager Mode in FIFA 10 is supremely buggy, and Be a Pro and Become A Legend are similar to compare much. PES lets you play BAL for 18 years, FIFA gives you only 4 years in Be a Pro. However, the one aspect that FIFA has the upper hand is that we play Reserve Team matches, in PES we play a training match with either A or B teams. Master League and Become A Legend have UEFA Champions League and Europa League integration, with BAL also including National team integrations.

PES 2010 is the best in the 360/PS3 era, and PES 2010 is the best and an improvement over PES 2007 on the PS2, PES 2007 being the last great PES. PES 2010 is a few major steps in the right direction, it's building the foundation for 2011 to return to the top. It doesn't have the bugs FIFA has, it has better game modes, and everything else EXCEPT for the nice 360 movement and motion capture, it has a faux-360 which feels like a 16-direction thing.

PES 2010 needs improvement on goalies, who know DO make some great saves but their one issue is giving rebounds. I can't complain about online lag, and I have to say the same regarding FIFA. With PES, however, I couldn't connect with players whose game is from a different region, like UK/Australia or Europe. A must buy for players who skipped 2008 or 2009, and a "should buy" for players who have previous versions as this one is far superior. - Kickass Games - Winning Eleven - Soccer - Pes'

Beautiful Earrings - studs, cubic zirconia

Ok, they're not really diamonds but when they sparkle they defintely can pass for it. They are bigger then the picture actually shows. I love these earrings, i wear them everyday with any outfit. They are defintely worth the price. 7mm Round Clear Cubic Zirconia 925 Sterling Silver Post Stud Earrings

I purchased for my wedding in May, they not only look beautiful, they are just what I needed for that extra little sparkel. They can quickly and with no defects or flaws in the packaging. Can not wait to wear the in May.

For $3, no complaints. It's bigger than I would like and it doesn't have a fraction of the brillance of my quality CZ earrings but I paid a lot more for those and everyone thought those were real. It's been over 7 years and still everyone thought my quality CZ earring are real; it might be worth it to get better quality CZ.

They were a great cut and really sparkly! but not so sparkly that they seemed like the walmart junk. I bought them for my boyfriend and they were the perfect size and cut for him and I really liked that they were sterling silver, he can be kind of sensitive to metals and these didn't bother him a bit! - Studs - Cubic Zirconia - Earrings - Diamond Earrings'

This is what Onkyo does best. This thing offers great performance. It is rock solid, no nonsense, just what you need and not much else. What it does, it does very well: decode most everything, and HDMI 1.4!!!

I was surprised how similar this unit was to my old 2006 model Onkyo 5.1 reciever. This model is clearly a new generation of the same line, with many features and design choices being identical. What sets this unit apart from those of yesterday is the connectivity. 3 HDMI 1.4 inputs, full 3D compatibility for down the road, two optical inputs, composite inputs, and more.

What is not so hot are the "frills". I say "frills" because they are not so frilly. The alternate listening modes are mostly useless- just like they were 5 years ago. The on unit display looks very, very dated, and the remote is even worse than before. In fact, the display and listening modes are identical to my old unit. After setup, dont expect to be pressing more than about 4 buttons on the full-sized remote unless you have other Onkyo components- this remote is NOT universal. This unit does support some "control via HDMI" functionality, so depending on your TV you may be able to sync them to some degree and use one remote for most casual functions on both devices. It also does not upconvert lesser video inputs to HDMI, which is nice to have, but nobody really does that very well until you get into the much higher price points anyway.

But who really buys one of these for a remote and boring sound effects? Not me. I bought this for one reason only: Onkyo quality sound. And this unit does not disappoint. Aside from just sounding great, the functional aspects of this unit are absolutely rock solid and do exactly what you would expect from Onkyo. For the money, I dont know how you could beat this unit. You get Onkyo's top notch, no nonsense audio performance and everything that comes along with HDMI 1.4. Auto a/v sync is here as is deep color if your TV and other components support them. You will be ready if 3D really takes off, or if the reasonably priced HDTV's keep getting much better within the next 3-5 years. This budget unit can grow with your home theater as the industry evolves over the next few years, and keep sounding great the whole time- which is big plus considering where we are in the technology cycle. Onkyo really got it right this year with this model at this price point.

I fully recommend this unit to anyone looking for solid 5.1 surround at this price point that they dont want to throw away in 2 years. Onkyo TX-SR308 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black)

Was looking to upgrade my onkyo 6.1 receiver that I purchased 7 years ago. I came across this model at a local electronic store and was blown away by the sound and price.

It will decode DTS-HD Master audio and Dolby True HD. Which is important to me, because I just moved over to blu-ray and wanted the best sound possible for play back. I hooked up my new sony BDP-S570 blu-ray player and put in Avatar as a test movie. I running a HDMI cable to the Onkyo and a HDMI out to the TV. When the movie finally started, I couldn't get DTS-HD Master audio to come on the receiver. After some research you need to make sure your DVD player is not decoding the audio and sending it to your reciver to decode. Once I got this fixed and saw the DTS-HD master audio I was very impressed. My kids stopped what they were doing and came over to HEAR the movie and not just watch like last time.

Again, This Onkyo rec is a Great buy for under $300 and is also future proof for when 3D TV goes main stream in the next year of so.

P.S. Currently run my Cable box, PS3 and Blu-ray player via HDMI and all work very well with sound and picture.

My old Pioneer receiver finally gave up the ghost so it was time for a new AVR, my main requirements were: HDMI switching, inexpensive and a nice remote. I didn't need 7.2 or Audyssey because I only have a 5.1 setup and I like playing with the settings.

I looked at Denon, Yamaha, Pioneer and Onkyo. Man there are a lot of choices today, when I bought my old Pioneer there was only stereo and Dolby Pro Logic. I narrowed it down to the Denon AVR-391 and the Onkyo SR308, the Denon had 4 HDMI(which is nice) but the subwoofer crossover is limited to 80Hz min. The Onkyo won with 40Hz min, on-screen display and a nicer remote(not to mention I got a better price). The front panel is simplistic yet you can control almost everything, I didn't need analog inputs on the front because I use my Blu-ray player for video. The remote is well laid out but it is NOT universal, it will only control Onkyo products. You can rename your HDMI ports and the on-screen display makes setup a snap. The SR308 will switch analog sources but will not upscale via HDMI.

My only gripe, which I couldn't get answered before I bought it, is if HDMI switching would work with the power off....it doesn't. In fact the only way to get a signal passed when the power is off is to turn on TV Control(HDMI CEC), this will allow Pass Thru on a HDMI 1.3+ TV. You can turn on TV Audio which is nice but you have to leave the power on.

Pros:

Onkyo quality

Great sound

Nice remote

Price

HDMI 1.4 with ARC

Cons:

Only 3 HDMI ports

Charging Cradle - accessory, cradle

This is a nice enough product; stylish, holds phone horizontally, heavier than you'd expect with a non-skid bottom. Problem is, that's all it is. There is no charger included as I had assumed. You either have to use the charger or the USB charging/sync cable that came with your phone. I wanted a second charger for my desk so I could keep the one that came with the phone in my briefcase or suitcase. Not sure it's pretty enough to justify almost $30 with shipping. BlackBerry Desktop Charge,Sync Pod for BlackBerry Storm 9500 and 9530 (Does not work with Storm2 9550 and 9520)

This device as others have noted does not fit the Storm 2 - 9550, and Amazon should quickly fix the merchandise materials to reflect this as other Storm 2 buyers will all have to go through the same fate of buying and returning this device.

Pros: It works, I use my storm as my alarm clock now. The storm fits snugly into the device. I've even seen pictures where a person had this in their car, but it takes some DIY skills.

Cons: You won't be able to use it if you have your storm in a case.

Other Thoughts: I wish it had a headphone jack then I could use it as a bedside MP3 player. You can still access the jack on the phone but it would be nice if it was in the dock.

I bought this charger for my Storm and recently upgraded to the Storm 2. I can hardly blame the manufacturer for creating a product that does not work with RIM's future line of phones but it does not work with my new Storm2. It works great for the Storm so 5 stars!

The charger will not work with the Storm2 9530 however. There is a anti-slip grip that is designed into the phone's casing which makes the phone a little more bulky than the Storm in that one area of the case. The Storm2 overall is smaller and more light-weight than the Storm. Regardless it doesn't work with the 9530.

I just received the sync pod, but cannot use it. The unit looks good and has a nice weight, but the Storm 2 will not seat on the charge plug. You have to press the Storm 2 quite firmly to get the charger to start (as evidenced by the clock showing on the screen). Once you release the pressure on the phone, it springs up, off the plug and charging stops. RIM's website states that the dimensions are the same for the Storm 2 and the Storm, but my phone won't work on the charge/sync pod.

I will be returning it for a refund. It is too bad - the concept is a good one. RIM needs to revise the dimensions of the sync pod so that the Storm 2 will fit.

Very convenient charging stand. By docking it and putting your phone on clock mode while charging, it doubles as a desktop clock. Once your phone is fully charged, however, it turns off. The charger integrates with your current charger. This is NOT a stand alone charger. You plug in your existing charger to the base. This unit merely lets you keep it in horizontal position so you can use it as a desktop clock.

I've never reviewed anything on Amazon before, but I had to write about this product. I love it. It's great quality, has a nice rubberized pad that protects the surface of your nightstand or table, and it has a good amount of weight to it -- it's not flimsy at all.

This is a great accessory for your BlackBerry Storm. When you put your Storm in the charger it turns it into a great table clock with huge numbers that are very easy to read and bright, all the time keeping your Storm fully charged. I love it!

This is the perfect docking station for the bb storm. It connects perfectly and brings up all my BB info on the computer right away. Changes screen on the BB to clock mode so you have a clock while it's attached to the dock. I love it, it works great and the shipping was really fast.
