1 Tb External Hard Drive

I work for Computing support at Arizona State University, and I have enough technical knowledge to be certified as a TECH JUNKIE :).

I am a photographer too, so I have tons of Photos (about 160GB), Videos, Software, Movies and Documentaries. I was looking for a simple external hard drive without any backup software included, I am smart enough to do manual incremental backups with file tree structure intact (I use GOODSYNC to backup, its very simple and easy to use and free).

I have looked at many many external HDDs and narrowed down to two models "Samsung Story 1TB - very good one too" and this one (I wanted it to be cheap too - got this for $85 on [...]). I did not go with other WD models because of their annoying Backup Software.

Coming to the WD Elements 1TB: Its much smaller than I expected. It is dead silent, I had to touch it to convince myself that it was running, when I first turned it on. Its not too heavy either. The indicator light is placed at the rear, which is a very good thing (I find these LED's annoying, especially at night).

After I did the first setup, I copied 383GB of data (931GB was total space). It took about 4hr 47min, speed varied between 20MBps to 37MBps. This is pretty good speed for USB 2.0. It was just a bit warm (my old segate hard drive would be very very hot for this amount of data transfer).

I would recommend it to beginners or pros alike. I am very happy with this purchase!

UPDATE:

After about three months of heavy usage, it never gave up on me. Its still dead silent and works flawlessly. It never got even warm!!

Follow these steps to get GOODSYNC for FREE:

In the beginning GOODSYNC was free, later they made a paid version as it gained popularity..

but there is a way to get PRO version for free...

1. go to good sync website

2. signup for a trial offer and you get PRO serial for free (I signed up for eMusic trial)

3. Once you get the serial, end the subscription before the trial expires...

NOTE: The above mentioned procedure may not work anymore :(

UPDATE: 07-28-2010

I sold my WD Elements 1TB and got a 2TB one a couple of months ago(as my data is on rise all the time), couldn't be happier :)

I bought it from TigerDirect for [ ... ] and got [ ... ] cashback via [ ... ] ...awesome!! Western Digital WD Elements 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive

I bought this on sale at Fry's for $99, way below the amazon price. I wanted something simple as most hard drives these days come with their annoying built in software which cannot be deleted (like WD Essential Edition). This is a hassle free drive and is not bundled with any of the extra software which is exactly what I wanted. You simply plug it in and it works. It can easily be formatted to work with macs as well. I've been using WD hard drives for years and I own several models of the "essential" and "passport" editions. They are very reliable.

This elements hard drive has a sleek and sexy, minimalist design. It is well built overall and constructed of durable plastic. There is a slot for the USB cable, a slot for the power adapter and a tiny circular white light which blinks when it is in use (the light is not overwhelming as some hard drives can be). All three of these features are on one side/face of the hard drive (as shown in the picture), so if you have this plugged in and it is facing away from you, you won't see the light at all. This doesn't bother me but it may be a turn off for some people.

When in operation, it is very smooth and quiet compared to other WD hard drives I own. This may be due to the fact that it is closed entirely and there are no holes for ventilation as in other WD models. But this doesn't bother me because I just use this as a backup and don't need it on all of the time. This could (emphasis on "could") be an issue if you are constantly using your hard drive because it may become hot. I haven't experienced this at all, just speculating. If you are just backing up files and, say, watching a movie on your computer which is stored on the hard drive, I think you'll be fine and there won't be any heating issues.

More info here on WD's website: [...]

I purchased the 1tb Elements (WDBAAU0010HBK-NESN) for use with a Dish DVR 622.

Installation was was truly "plug and play". I simply took it out of the box, plugged it in, and it was immediately recognized by the DVR. I have since transferred about 200gb of content to/from it, and have watched content directly from the drive. So far, it is working perfectly. It automatically spins down after a few minutes of non-use, as well as when the DVR is powered off. It also spins back up automatically (less than 10 seconds) when the DVR accesses it.

One thing some people might not like: The case is designed to sit flat (as pictured), not on its side. There are four small non-skid pads on the bottom corners, but none on either side. There is no indication on the box, in the documentation, or on Western Digital's web site as to whether the drive will work properly on edge. As a general rule, WD drives are designed to operate sideways or even upside down (any X,Y,Z orientation), so this one probably will too -- but you'll need to provide your own non-skid pads.

Several similar Western Digital drives, such as the late model "My Book" series, now include a firmware-based CD-partition that is difficult to remove, and can cause compatibility issues with some devices. That partition contains backup software and utilities that are of questionable value in any case, and of absolutely no value when using the drive with a non-computer device (like the Dish DVR). The Elements -- at least at time of this review -- doesn't include any of that junk. (Note: WD does have a downloadable utility to remove the partition from the other drives, but if you don't want that junk then save yourself the time/trouble and just buy the Elements drive.)'

Mimo Usb-lcd Um-720s - mini_monitor, 7 monitor

I received the UM-720S promptly after ordering it, and I had no problem connecting it and starting to use it under Windows XP. It's very nice that only a single USB cable is required (as some USB-powered devices need to be plugged into two USB ports to get enough power). The display is crisp and bright, and the driver allows it to be rotated. The touchscreen functionality works reasonably well - it requires a firm press to register consistently, and the tracking is typical for these kind of screens (i.e. it's nowhere near the responsiveness of tracking on an iphone). It's very nice that you can use a stylus instead of your finger. The screen and stand are incredibly thin and compact when folded up. The USB connector comes straight out of the back of the screen, which may be awkward for some applications (like mine), but a right-angle USB connector can be obtained very cheaply. For the price, and for particular applications (such as building a custom controller), this is a very good product, and is currently quite unique. I'm getting close to ordering a second one, which should tell you how much I like it.

UPDATE: I just discovered that OpenGL operations do not work on a DisplayLink device (such as this monitor). So, if you're doing custom development of software to make use of this monitor, you should be sure to NOT use an OpenGL-based library. The DisplayLink drivers may support OpenGL, someday, but I wouldn't hold my breath. MIMO UM-720S Touch Screen USB Powered 7 Inch Swivel LCD Screen Mini Display

I've had this display for quite a while and I have very mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I really like the display, it has decent resolution and I think it looks very good. I love the clamshell feature since it means I can drop it into my laptop bag without having to worry about the screen getting damaged.

The touch screen is another story. When running under WinXP 32 bit I found that about 1 in 4 boots the touch screen would work. The calibration sofware was next to useless though because, as one other reviewer noted, it scales the calibration screen incorrectly so you have to guess where touch targets 2 - 4 are. I was able to get it mostly calibrated but never quite as well as I'd like just by guessing where the target should be. Even worse, the one target it does show is not in the right location - you have to touch between the target and the corner to calibrate it right.

Then I got a Windows 7 64-bit laptop. Much to my delight the calibration screen scaled correctly and I was able to properly calibrate the screen. Unfortunately over time I've found that the touch screen drivers are unreliable under Windows 7 as well. For a while the touch screen would work about 1 in 4 boots then it quit working entirely but I could get it working again by reinstalling the driver - required every time I rebooted. Now it works after every boot but it will only control the cursor on the main screen, I can't get it to let me assign it to the actual touch screen monitor. That means when I touch the screen it moves the mouse on my primary monitor. I suppose that would be handy for some people but my primary monitor is a multi-touch so it's the last feature I need. The drivers won't let me select anything except the primary monitor either so I can't fix it.

I have tried writing the company multiple times and have never once received any response. If you need any sort of support you're out of luck.

My advice is to buy the non-touch-screen model and save yourself some money. The touch screen was nice when it worked but it's incredibly unreliable so it's not worth the extra expense.

I love my MIMO! I have it connected to a laptop running Windows Vista, and the software installed very easily. (I had an error/hang when I tried to install with both checkboxes marked, but it worked beautifully when I did them one at a time).

As soon as the drivers were installed, it immediately became an extension of my laptop screen with one cord (and one USB port, not two - at least with the version I have, 720S). Calibration was quick and easy. I can choose to have it extend my desktop in whichever direction I choose. Then I grab the handle of a window and move it over to the small screen. I have my tasklist and my twitter feed on it currently. If I turn the screen off, those windows just appear back on my main screen. Likewise, the touchscreen works seamlessly also. Touching a window with the stylus will shift the window focus to that window and acts like a mouse click (so I can check off tasks with my stylus once I focus on that window), and focus will shift back when I click my touchpad on a window on the main screen.

After reading other reviews, I was surprised at how simple to get working this was and how intuitive and handy it is. This "toy" will get a lot of use here.

Bought this item for a very specific purpose: rapid prototyping for touch-screen interfaces. I wasn't concerned with the terrible 6 o clock viewing angle or the 262k colors. It just had to work as a touch screen. Which it barely does.

Contrary to the funny translations from the manual, I was able to display full motion video onto this screen without any problems. Yes, the video files I was testing weren't great but then again neither is the native resolution of the display. The display brightness isn't very good. For indoor use and dark computer labs, it's ok. Would not recommend puting it in any kind of direct illumination.

Construction and assembly seem decent but nothing to write home about. The display has 3 buttons concealed on the left edge under its little blue power LED. I'm glad to report the LED is not of the light-house kind and won't need to be masked off. The buttons control power (or stand by) and brightness. You really won't be using the brightness controls though, unless you're prototyping a bed-side clock. The entire screen is powered via a Y cable USB connection (mini USB at the display end).

The software is...beyond words. The manual does a good job of pointing you in the right direction, even with instructions of the type "The calibrated Touch Screen coordinates may vary upon the lapse of usage time." Unfortunately, the drivers are a mess. The display part of the drivers seems ok. I successfully installed the display on a Shuttle PC and a laptop (M2400). The touchscreen on the other hand, installed properly only on the Shuttle. On the laptop it refused to properly scale the calibration screen to the available display area, such that only 1 of the 4 points was actually visible. This rendered the ENTIRE touch screen completely useless. After re-installing the drivers from the CD...twice, I went online and downloaded the same drivers directly from the website. Once again, the display driver worked correctly but the touch screen driver kept on failing to initialize properly even though I rebooted. I chose to ignore the failure and attempted to calibrate once again. It worked! The app properly scaled the calibration display to the screen and I was able to calibrate and use the touch interface. I'm sure I'll keep getting that failure every time I connect the display though.

There isn't much else to be said. At $200, this is at best an alpha candidate for a product. These days you can have a full 19 inch display for less or a very nice photo frame with way more brains than a simple display. So the question you need to ask yourself before taking out your credit card is "How much do you NEED the USB interface?" Mine's already packed and ready to return. - 7 Monitor - Displaylink - Monitors - Mini_monitor'

Wireless Remote Control - wireless remote control, harmony 1000

The Logitech Harmony RF Wireless Extender allows your RF-equipped Harmony Remote (the 890, 895 or new 1000) to control components without having an IR "line of sight" to the components. One RF Wireless Extender is included with the Harmony 890, but it is unfortunately not included with the Harmony 1000.

Make no mistake, this device is an absolute REQUIREMENT for any large room or complex setup. In my configuration, the Harmony 1000 didn't have the strength to power all of my components through IR from 20 feet distance. The RF extender solved this problem, and now I can control my entire setup even from another room.

One RF Wireless Extender can control up to 8 components within the line of sight of the unit, or within line of sight of the 8 included IR emitters. You can add multiple extenders to your configuration if you have components in different rooms or areas that could not be served by one unit. Annoyingly, even if you have more than 8 components within the reach of the unit or the emitters the Harmony software won't let you assign more than 8 devices to a single extender.

IMPORTANT: You should try to setup and verify your Harmony configuration using IR-only if possible before adding the extender, even if you have to sit near your components or have cabinet doors open. This is because the Harmony software makes you connect and disconnect both the extender (which must be unplugged from AC power) and the remote each time you make a change. Setting up the Harmony first, by itself, with IR is much easier to make changes to the configuration.

After verifying I could control my components using IR-only, I added the RF Wireless Extender to my setup. The Harmony software updated to the latest firmware, and I have had no problems configuring it using both Mac OS X and Windows clients.

Setup is very easy. If all of your components are behind a cabinet, you can simply mount this "blaster" unit inside, at least 10 inches from the front of your components. Or, you can attach the 8 included wired emitters (in 4 pairs of 2) near the IR receivers of each component. The wires for each of the 4 pairs are roughly 7 feet long, splitting into 2 emitters that must be placed within 25 inches of each other. Also good to note is that the tape is strong enough to attach to your component, but not strong enough to leave any residue should you need to remove them.

Within the Harmony setup, you then assign each component to either IR or RF Extender control. Optionally, you can assign each component to a channel (A,B,C,D,blaster) which corresponds to the 4 sets of 2 wired emitters and base, or all channels which sends all commands to all emitters. I chose to specifically assign each component to its channel, which seems to give better performance. (TIP: label your emitter wires!)

Once configured, you connect the RF Extender and the Harmony Remote to your computer to download the configuration. Then, you must plug the RF Extender into the wall, and optionally attach the IR emitter wires. The Harmony remote must initially be "paired" with the RF Extender, which is done by pressing the "Connect" button on the extender, and following the prompts on your remote.

Operation was flawless. I could control all components from around my house! And, the performance of startup was much faster, I believe because I had assigned each component to a specific channel on the extender.

In my configuration, I was pleasantly surprised to find the RF extender is fast enough to send the repeated command sequences needed to accelerate up and down through the menus in my AppleTV. Great job, Logitech!

If there was one area where Logitech could make improvements it would be the supplied documentation, which attempts to be user friendly but in the process is so oversimplified it is of little use. Since Amazon doesn't allow half-star increments, I stand by my 5-star review, documentation withstanding.

Based on the large number of problems people had when this was first released a year ago, I was expecting issues, but it would appear that the latest firmware (RF Extender v2.4, Harmony 890 v4.7) and Harmony client software (v7.0.2) have resolved all issues for both Mac OS X and Windows users.

All in all, a highly recommended product - and a great value bundled with the matching Harmony 890 (see my review there). I have since upgraded to the Harmony 1000, but kept this extender to use with it. It's a shame that Logitech doesn't include the extender with the 1000, as it really is a requirement.

I would recommend this without hesitation. Logitech Harmony RF Wireless Extender

Works well with both the Harmony 890 and 1000. Fairly easy to set up, though there are two HUGE drawbacks which Logitech should fix.

1. They have hard-wired the cable to the Extender so that you have to unplug the unit whenever you want to upgrade the settings - a royal pain when it's plugged in behind your components.

2. Even if you want to make a tiny change to the Harmony settings (e.g. changing a couple of icons) you have to update BOTH the Harmony and the Extender. This takes much longer and, because it's hard-wired, is very annoying. - Harmony 1000 - Wireless Remote Control - Universal Remote - Harmony'

Moving Comfort - sports bras

I bought this bra based on the detailed reviews and it didn't disappoint. I have tried many sports bra's before and I can say, not many of them have been comfortable or supportive enough for me. I have size D breasts and so jogging is not usually the most comfortable activity. But, I thought I would give this one a try. I have done yoga, jogged, power walked and ran stairs in this bra. And It's great!! I have never felt so supported jogging. It has no underwire but it still works pretty well. I would recommend this sports bra to anyone wanting quality, practicality and comfort. Some features: Soft Velcro adjustable straps to get the bra on and off and adjust easily. The velcro doesn't make that loud ripping noise either. Soft material, which is great for comfort. The straps come closer toward the neck than the average bra and this works well too. I bought green! Worth the money! I'm very happy with my purchase! Jogging and exercising is a less embarrassing experience when you got a power bra! Moving Comfort Women's Juno Bra,Black,34D

I just received my Juno sports bra today. I did the standard bounce test on it to make sure it would work. It does! I'm a 40D and barely had any movement. I've worn it for a couple of hours now and the only issues I see is that it may rub against my neck a bit. But I don't ever workout longer than 1hour so this shouldn't be too big of a deal. It is not that hard to put on but taking it off is a pain. Excellent bounce control though.

I ordered this and the MAIA style because they were the top rated. This bra does not have cups, merely indentations. It was really cute with the racer back, but difficult to get on, and once I was in it, I felt completely squished. One plus, they didn't move when I jumped up and down, but huge negatives are the lack of cups, thus pushing them together and creating a prime location for heat rash, and it was sized small so I was popping out the sides as well. (the other bra fit perfectly)

This is the best sports bra I've ever had. I wear a 42D normally and when I run I get these terrible rashes where the underwire from my bra rubs into my ribs. I tried cheap sports bras from Target, walmart, and other sporting goods stores with no relief. This bra is considered an "encapsulation" bra ... it's meant for hold the breasts very tightly to the chest and keeping them completely still. I really love it. I now have 3 of them.

I just ordered this bra and Moving Comfort's Fiona bra, and this one offers more better support for larger cup sizes. It runs true to size (my 32D fit perfectly), is comfortable, and offers great support.

I wore this for the first time while doing a high-intensity plyometric workout, and it kept me in place, with only slight bounce. My Lululemon Ta Ta Tamer offers a bit less bounce, but the price of the Juno bra is much better since there is only slight difference between them.

What I especially love about both bras is that not only do they have the adjustable back closures (hooks just like a regular bra), but the front straps are also adjustable with velcro.

The only downside is that this does give a slight "uniboob" effect. It does have separate cups, but, since it's such a heavy duty bra, you don't get quite as much separation. I also noticed that bra hits at a weird spot around my armpits, which gives me a bit of that smooshed "bra fat look" near my upper arms.

Overall, though, this is a great bra, and I'm going to pick up a few more!

I have been running for 34 years, and, other than the earliest sports bras that were mainly compression, the Juno by Moving Comfort is the best sports bra ever. It is comfortable, prevents bounce and does wick sweat. Yes, it is expensive, but worth the money. I have three of this model.

I am a 34D (implants) and have had a slight issue with movement in one of my breasts which is causing friction when I run or play soccer. My surgeon recommened the Enell bra. I ended up buying a couple of them, but I found that they were so constricting that they ended up making the issue worse. Not to mention they give granny panties a run for their money! So, I came upon the reviews for this bra and decided to take a risk and it paid off. I love this sports bra. It keeps my breasts in place without feeling like I am being squeezed. This is by far the best sports bra I have ever owned. My only negative comment is that the lower band seems to run a little big. I decided to order 2 additional bras, but went down a size because of this. I will update as soon as I receive them. This bra is absolutely worth the money (and it is cheaper than the Enell)!

As a 32DD, size 6, female runner, I am always on the search for a great and very supportive sports bra. I went to a local store to try some on and found this great, racerback style. I did end up ordering it on Amazon because it was a full $20 cheaper here! My problem is mostly trying to find a smaller chest circumference with a bigger cup size and not paying through the nose for it or having to sell off one of my children.

The bra is a little tight to get into, but really needs to be to offer support and maintain the racerback style. If it was super stretchy then it wouldn't hold the girls in place so well. A non-racerback style would most likely be easier to get into, but then you have those fat bra-type straps peaking out of your tank top and that is NOT a good look at all. Racerback style was a must for me.

There is a 3 hook enclosure in the back which I found to be very easy to hook up after the bra is on. The shoulder straps are also adjustable but the adjusting part is hidden! It has a very heavy duty velcro on the underside of the front straps. The straps loop through the front of the bra and up again to connect to the velcro. The soft velcro is facing down towards your skin, I thought there might be worry for chaffing but I was wrong - there is none. It is a great design for those of us who would like a sports bra to look like a sports bra and not a regular bra.

The cups are soft but are heavily molded. I don't see how anyone could fall out of it in anyway if they are wearing the correct size. Yes, my girls were smashed together a little bit but I haven't found a bra yet that eliminates that problem for me so I'm not complaining about it. I don't chaff there anyway, if you do, you might want to try bodyglide with the bra. Another feature that I really like is the dip in the neckline. A lot of high impact sports bras will come up very high on the chest and make me feel like I'm wearing a weird straightjacket type of garment. This bra has a slight dip which makes it look more like a regular sports bra. It still is higher than something you'd buy off the rack at Target, but not as high as a lot of other high impact models.

One pleasant surprise about this sports bra is how flattering it is when on and under a shirt. I didn't look smashed flat at all, but very feminine with a good breast shape silhouette. Even when I'm running and sweaty, I still appreciate looking girly and good!

Overall I find this to be a perfect execution of a high impact sports bra that does what it is intended to do while maintaining as much of a regular sports bra appearance as possible. It is adjustable in the two areas you need it to adjust. I've run in it for an hour at the longest and it has held up great!

When buying any bra, be sure to get the right size. Go to a store and try it on first if you're unsure. You shouldn't be coming out anywhere - the top or the sides and you should still be able to breath when it's hooked up. If you're popping out anywhere then you need a bigger cup size, if you can't breath, you need a bigger strap size. I would highly recommend this product to any overly endowed woman out there! - Sports Bras'

Reading Light - kindle book light, reading light

The light has really only got to do two things well: stay in place and provide glare-free light.

The clip mostly works, though it can be dislodged rather easily. The clamp is not a levered-clothespin, but a parallel clamp that doesn't exert a whole lot of pressure when in place. Not a dealbreaker for bedtime readers, but just don't expect to leave this thing in place while walking around the house or transporting in a bag.

The LEDs put out as much light as a decent flashlight. It's not a peaceful, soft glow but a serious task light on a gooseneck. It's bright enough to annoy a spouse... even a spouse that's watching TV. If Belken knocked the lower setting down to about 1/3 its current brightness, it'd be plenty bright for reading the Kindle. The switch is on the lamp head, which itself is pretty small. Flicking the tiny switch with a thumbnail isn't that bad, but it's easy to flick right past the lower setting and end up lighting up the whole bedroom for a second --before switching the thing off by accident (missing the lowest setting, again). By doing this you end up creating a momentary disco effect in the bedroom just trying to get the thing turned on.

Having AAAs instead of coin batteries in the light is a welcome convenience. You're more likely to have AAAs around the house than some little watch battery. Changing the batts is as simple as changing the batts in a TV remote control; there are no little screws contend with. I haven't had it long enough to judge its battery life, though.

But be aware that the using 3xAAAs in a light does add a considerable amount of weight to the top of the Kindle. The concern isn't really with the weight it adds, but the way it affects the balance and ergonomics of the Kindle. I found the I had to hold the Kindle up a bit higher than I was used to. Holding something for an hour or two, you find that a little change can make a big difference. I found I liked clipping the light to the bottom of the Kindle to keep the center of balance low. But, this covers up the space bar and some other keys. The next best thing is to clip it to the side of the Kindle I'm holding, just above the page turn buttons.

Pro:

AAA battery's easily available and simple to replace

2 brightness settings

Flexible head is easily adjustable for glare-free reading

Con:

Too bright. Even on it's dimmer setting, it lights half the bedroom.

Heavy, affects the handling and balance of the Kindle Belkin Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle (White)

Like Periwinkle I have been collecting various lights for my Kingle 2. After reading Perkiwinkle's review, I bought this light. I absolutely love it. It is much lighter than all the other lights for the Kindle 2. It can be adjusted where there is no glare. I have been using it every day for going on a couple weeks. I do a lot of night reading so the weight, amount of light is important to me. I find this to be the perfect lightweight and the amount of light perfect.

Now I have to figure out what to do with those other lights as this is the perfect light for the Kindle 2.

I have a gel cover on my Kindle 2 and the light fits over it very well. Admittedly it is a snug fit, but that what I would want.

I would give this 100 stars if I could.

So i've been surfing around for a light for my kindle for a bit, the only requirements being that it lights up my kindle and wont hurt it/scratch it. As per these preconditions i've been hesitant to buy some of the others that you can get like the Great Point Light Flex Neck Clip-On reading light or the M-Edge e-Luminator2 Booklight because i also like to read with my kindle 'naked'.

So i saw this one and decided to give it a go -

- Does a great job lighting up my kindle, there are no glare spots that cant be coaxed away

- Fits on my kindle like a glove, an im not worried about any damage done because of the anti-slip grip

- It's nice and light so you barley notice it when your holding your kindle

- It squishes up for easy travel

- And kudos to the 'guaranteed frustration free packaging' which i just found amusing

Overall, i am very happy

For those of you who have tried to find reading lights for your Kindle, you know there are surprisingly few to choose from on Amazon (at least at the time I looked). After reading reviews on the ones available, I decided on this one. I can't compare it to others, like some reviewers have, but I can say I love it. It's light and compact and easy to carry and use. The light has 2 settings, high and low. High is a little too bright for the 6" Kindle but may be needed for the DX. The low setting is fine and even tho there is a bit of glare, you can adjust that by moving the light a bit to counter. So far, the batteries (3 AAA) are lasting a long time. I am very happy with this purchase and hope my review helps in your decision. - Kindle 2 Book Light - Reading Light - Kindle Accessory - Kindle Book Light'

Cell Phone Case - accessories, cell phone accessories

I honestly bought this case because it was really cheap, and I just wanted to put my phone in something so it wouldn't get scratched up. I was really caught off guard with how it is a very quality made case. The LG Voyager fits in it perfectly. Not too bit, not too small. With the magnetic flap, you put no pressure on your phone to close it, and no added pressure on the case trying to open it. I didn't even catch in the description that it was magnetic. The clip is nice and strong, so attaching it to things is great. I'm not worried my phone will fly off. I'm also confident that if I dropped my phone in this case, that I would have nothing to worry about.

I am very amazed at the quality of this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants a case for their LG Voyager. At this price, how can you resist?? Black Horizontal Leather Pouch For LG VX10000 Voyager VX-10000 Phone Case Cover with Belt Clip Magnetic Closing

The product looks good and is an awesome product, it has loops so you can put your belt through it and it has an extra clip just so you can clip it on your belt easily. however the clip does not hold well and starts to rip the leather

Like many others I bought this simply because the price was so low. Upon arrival I found the quality to be much higher than expected. I wear a thicker leather belt and have had no issues with just the clip holding the pouch solidly in place. For those (women?) who wear a smaller/lighter belt I would suggest running through the loops. I think the real story with this holder is that you could buy 5 of them for the price most places are charging for a similar holder, so even if the flap wears out, or the clip becomes loose it would take quite some time until it becomes an inequitable choice. 5 stars based mostly on bang for the buck.

The case is well made, but I guess I was a little rough on the belt clip. This case comes with a really nice belt clip that has a flap that actually clips over the belt clip, making sure this case does not come off your belt. It is a rather ingenious little design, However, After about 2 months, the flap detached at the seam, and then the piece of leather sewn to the pouch to hold the belt clip in place, came off. Basically leaving the case useless for wearing on a belt. I bought this becasue the $25 case I bought with the phone began to wear out and the metal rivet holding the belt clip on to the case began to chaffe the touch screen on my phone. It was way too late for my phone (cosmetically) before i realized what was happening. So I bought this case through Amazon. It was very inexpensive, but did not last me very long.

If you look at the insignia on this item , then look at the pouches they sent me, You will see that amazingly enough there is no insignia on the pouches they sent me. These pouches are actually about one half inch longer than the origional one that my Ladyfriend bought me from this same place 6 months ago. this is why I bought from you is because the first one fits perfect!! these do not. If you are going to change product, you should change the picture also, to one without the insignia. Thanks

Many buyers have given this cell phone case good reviews, but the case I received was too small to hold my LG-Voyager. I could squeeze the phone into the case, but the fit was so tight that I couldn't get the phone out. There are no cut-outs or anywhere where you can grip the phone with your fingers to pull it out. I had to wrap my hand around the bottom of the case and squeeze it like a toothpaste tube to get the phone to pop out. The fit of the case is so tight, it was constantly activating the touch screen and running the battery down. The only good thing was, the cost was so cheap that after 3 days I gave it away to someone with a smaller phone and didn't feel too bad about it.

Good thing this product was only 97cents because it is a fraud. it is NOT leather and it does NOT fit the voyager phone. It was way too small.

Figured I couldn't go wrong with the price but i guess you get what you pay for.

Good holster. Does what it's supposed to do, hold your cell phone, but what make this so good is the price. Again, go to Verizon and see how much this cost and you'll understand. The shipping cost more than the holster but it's still worth the price. - Lg Voyager - Cell Phone Accessories - Belt Clips - Accessories'

Highest Heel - pumps, heels

Because I'm a lover of all shoes high heeled, I ordered these for myself on my birthday. When I got them I didn't think they would be so high (they are almost 6 inches). They didn't look so skyscraper-ish on the pics. Anyway, they don't come in half sizes because of the platform fit, but they fit fine on me. All in all they are SUPER cute and not at all hard to walk in. They go great with a cute dress. They're well made and not uncomfy at all either. I get tons of compliments (and some outrageous looks and question,s to boot). But I DO absolutely love them, and I will be ordering another pair in a different color soon. Bordello by Pleaser Women's Teeze-06 Platform Pump,Red Patent,12 M US

I got them in the hot glittery pink! They are my new favorite shoe! They're super comfortable, and although the heel height sounds daunting, the platform on the toe makes them easy to walk in! I'm an 8.5 and I ordered a 10 - the 9 was way too snug, so I recommend going up at least a full size. They come in a really cute box and each shoe comes in it's own little bag! This shoe is way too cute to pass at this great price! I might just have to buy a second pair!

These shoes are just gorgeous and good quality. They even came in a pretty box I just love it, and they have a pretty print on the inside with good sturdy build. My only qualm is that this shoe is very narrow and small. I usually wear an 8 but my feet are wide so I thought it would be safer to order a 9. When it came even the 9 was almost too small to put on and not just because of the width these shoes are just very small and narrow. I was so sad! I'm afraid if I get a 10 it still won't fit quite right. So if you have wide shoes beware and go even up to 2 sizes up if you want to be safe.

I bought these shoes for my birthday/going out. I love love love them. Are they crazy? yes. Will you question if you've lost your mind/if people might think you're a hooker? perhaps. Are they for everyday/wearing to church? no. But if you buy them for fun they're perfect. I got lots of compliments from both guys and girls the night I wore them out. I ordered the hot pink ones.

I'm so glad everyone said to order a size up. I did and they fit perfect, even though I was reluctant to do so (I usually wear a 10 and I ordered an 11, but sure enough they fit!). I would definitely invest in some gel ball of the foot inserts, and I used the inserts for arch support too and was able to wear them for 4-5 hours with little discomfort.

If you're looking for a fun/sexy shoe for a special occasion, look no further.

The shoes are way higher than I thought. I've worn 5 3/4 heels but these seem higher than that. The shoe seems well made & comes in a really cute box. I read the reviews about the shoe running really small, so i went 2 sizes up... they were way too big so I'd just go 1 size up next time. Platforms dont come in half sizes so whatever sz u usually get in platforms just go one sz up. I like the shoe but i wasn't as thrilled as I thought I'd be so I gave it 3 stars.

This is a wonderful, sexy and comfortable pump. It comes in a cute little box, and shipping was fast. I will say though that I wear a size 9 shoe without exception...I did have to send my 9 back for a 10...so consider that when buying...they seem to run a little small...But WELL WORTH the wait.

These shoes are beautiful!!!! They arrived in a really pretty box, each wrapped in there own little protective bag inside the box. They are so much prettier in real life. I love shoes and will definetly order from spike angel again.....i even wear these to work at my office......LOVE THEM LOVE THEM LOVE THEM!!! Could not be happier!!!!

Every girl should have a pair of shoes like these in her closet. This is my third pair of Pleaser's Teeze platform heels. I bought these in black patent, the mary-janes in white patent and the three strap platform in red patent. I think I'm set for naughty shoes for a while. I absolutely love them all. As many reviewers have noted, you definitely should order a full size up. These are very high heels even with the platform but I found them relatively easy to walk in.

I have these in red; holy cow. They are AWESOME! I received so many compliments on them that I couldn't walk inside or out without someone saying how they loved my shoes. And they are 5-3/4" so they are tall - these babies are not for the faint of heart, or the novice. But mmm, mmm! They looked good. I'm a solid 8 and they fit well - no slip in the back or anything. If your regular shoe size always fits you, order that; not up.

I got these in the black glitter pump. I didn't read the reviews before ordering them. After I had ordered them I read the reviews and got nervous because everyone was saying to order a size up. When I got the shoes in I was a bit nervous they wouldn't fit (I am usually a size 8). I put them on and they fit PERFECT!!!! I couldn't be happier and I will own them in every color! - Sexy - High Heels - Pumps - Heels'

Garmin Nuvi 260w - gps, dashboard mount

My Prius has a rough dashboard and a windshield that slopes very sharply. Thus, the suction cup mounts are not good solutions. Fortunately, the friction mount is a great solution. It works much better than I expected. Very stable, does not slide, and lets me adjust my Nuvi to a variety of different angles. I can place the GPS anywhere on the dash or even on the center console. Also works great when transferred to my wife's Ford.

Only downside to the device is that it has a rather large footprint, but not prohibitively large. I like the fact that I can easily use this in both of our family vehicles depending on where we need the GPS.

UPDATE: Now that I have used this mount regularly since May, I have to say this is the best mounting solution I've found for a GPS or any other device for my car. It hasn't slid out of place once!! Given the rise in GPS units being stolen from cars, this mount allows you to easily stash your GPS Unit and mount out of sight and then put it back into position with ease.

2009 Update: Still using this in my Prius and my wife has one too. It's held up quite well. It IS a bit bulky to store out of the way when not in use, but still a good solution. I usually remove my GPS from the mount (a simple process) and then place the mount as far under the seat as it will go. Not perfect, but the best solution I've found to date. Garmin Portable Friction Mount

This mount works great. The selection of Garmin mounts is confusing as some are two parts and some are one. If you have a Nuvi with the included windshield mount, then this is the only part you need to buy. The included mount disassembles at the ball and socket joint and attaches to this one. I can't say it will never come off the dash if I do some really high speed maneuver, but so far it's held steady for all regular driving.

I like that it's easy to move the mount and gps unit down to the floor when I park. Yeah a thief could still see it if they came right up to my car but at least it's not obvious from halfway across the parking lot like a windshield mount is. A thief that sees an empty windshield mount is probably going to assume (correctly) that I've just put the unit in the glove compartment.

I have become addicted to my Garmin Nuvi 660 and used it for six months with a successful windshield mount. But now I have bought a new car. I discovered that the windshield suction mount left an ugly black ring on the window of my old car. (I assume I can get this cleaned up when I detail the car for selling.)

So no way was I going to put one of those on my beautiful new car. I tried the Garmin dashboard mount but shied away from the "permanent" disc. I found the "temporary" disc was just not up to the job of holding this device in place -- at least on my vehicle. I found this very frustrating. I read about the Portable Friction Mount, found a Best Buy store that had it in stock and ran out to buy it.

Though it is not terribly good looking, it does the job very well. I tried whipping around a few tight turns in parking lots and the whole thing stayed put. As another reviewer said, this lets you easily remove the thing and put it on the floor so it's not obvious. That may be more valuable than you would think. I know somebody who removed his Garmin Nuvi (and took it with him) but left the window mount in place. The car was broken into and the window mount alone was stolen. (Probably that was a pretty frustrated thief.)

Also, this will be easy to transfer to a rental car. And it will make it easy for my wife to borrow my Nuvi. Hmmm!

While the friction mount on the bottom of the beanbag is pretty darn stable even with stops, starts, and turns I sometimes would find it sliding across the dash. The solution has been to use one of those little 6x4 inch mats sold at Radio Shack or Walmart for keeping cellphones on the dash. The mat is sticky on one side but leaves no marks or glue. I have not had one slide since using the mat. I even bring the mat with me in rental cars. This gives a very secure mount that is very easy to take from car to car.

The first time I tried this mount was in a rental car for a Garmin C530, and I never thought it would stay on the slightly sloping dash of the Pontiac Grand Prix but it held firm going up and down San Francisco's hilly roads. That prompted me to buy one for my car. Essentially this mount is a bean bag with a mouse pad like rubber base but its engineered to stay where you put it and not slide around unless you move it. The good thing is that it stays put even if you brake suddenly, and if you drive in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic like me every day you'll appreciate this even more!

The advantages are:

- No sticking on windshield. This is a BIG advantage as the windshield mount starts to come off easily after a year of usage, less if you leave it in your car while it's parked in the sun. There is nothing worse than your GPS sliding off while you're driving round a tricky bend, especially if you are new to the area. Sometimes it can be downright dangerous.

- The windshield mount also alerts thieves that a GPS is in the car. A friction mount can be placed down under the car seat when you leave the car without needing to disconnect anything so that you're ready to go quickly when you come back to the car.

- The other big advantage is the ability to move it around to the position you want it. If a passenger is sitting in your car you can just slide it to their side and they can input the information while you are driving. It also makes it easy to slide it closer to yourself. Since I have the Nuvi 660 I often make calls with the bluetooth feature while driving, it is easy to slide it towards me when I am speaking to someone in order to get better voice reception.

This mount works for all Nuvis as they have the "snap the ball in the joint". If you buy any model of Nuvi then this is all you need, no other adapter parts are needed. It's also easy to switch this mount between cars or move it to a rental car when you travel. It has been the best and most useful accessory I could buy for my Nuvi 660. - Dashboard Mount - Gps - Garmin Nuvi - Garmin'

Airport Extreme - apple, 80211n

Ah jeez, what can I say. I can do most anything with a computer, Apple or PC, but when I try to configure a network, gremlins keep any of it from working. When my Netgear "lost its settings" spontaneously, they were kind enough at technical support to offer to fix it for me for 99 bucks. When I declined they offered up that I might go to their website for support tips. But I had spent too many hours when I first bought that router, I was done. So I purchased this router and it is just like other reviewers have said: plug it in, stick in the disk, answer a few simple questions, and it's done. THIS is how consumers LIKE computers to work. Bemoan the higher price tag if you want, but I will pay a little extra for things that just do their dang job and don't aggravate me NEEDLESLY! Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station (Simultaneous Dual-Band) (MC340LL/A)

This review is going to mention a number of products--because a wireless network is all about infrastructure and integration. I purchased the AirPort Extreme to pull a number of other devices together, so I hope shoppers considering it will find this kind of review useful.

Since 2001 I have used the original AirPort (graphite), the AirPort Extreme (2003) with modem, and a host of Netgear and Linksys wireless routers to set up 802.11x networks at work and at home. The latter work well in their applications, and this review is not intended to knock any of them.

Apple M8209LL/A AirPort Base Station

Apple M8799LL/A AirPort Extreme Base Station with Modem and Antenna Port

But at home, I'm not a masochist. I want my networking system to work with my gear, and I don't want to spend hours setting it up and more hours dealing with changes to my system.

When we replaced our home theater system after an equipment meltdown (thankfully insured), I wanted to add a Logitech Squeezebox to the receiver, streaming music from a ReadyNAS Duo. The problem was that the older AirPort Extreme was in our office at one end of the house, and didn't have the range to reach the family room where the Squeezebox receiver is located.

Logitech Squeezebox Duet WiFi Internet Radio

My first thought was to add an AirPort Express as an extender--plug it in at a suitable halfway point and allow it to extend the network. This was only half the solution, because the most recent AirPort Express is an 802.11N-centric device, and it proved to be nearly impossible to set up a stable Wireless Distribution System (WDS) with the older AirPort Extreme.

Apple Airport Express

The solution turned out to be recognizing that, gradually, all of the wireless devices in our home now support at least 802.11G, and our computers all support 802.11N. On AirPort devices that also support 802.11N, it turns out that Apple has developed a much simpler way to link AirPorts in an extended network.

The new AirPort Extreme arrived two days ago. Installation was classic Apple: open, remove plastic cling wrap, and plug in. Using AirPort Utility, I entered the new base station and network passwords, and needed to reset my cable modem to allow it to recognize the new MAC address it was feeding. (I should also note that AirPort Utility allowed me to view the settings of the OLD AirPort while I was setting up the NEW AirPort.) Installation took a grand total of 12 minutes, including slitting the packing tape on the shipping box.

The second step was setting up the AirPort Express. This involved setting a base station password, naming it, and then following the three step procedure in the Help menu for "Extending a Wireless Network." The steps are: Click a checkbox in the AirPort Extreme's settings to "Allow This Wireless Network To Be Extended," choose a popup menu item in the AirPort Express's settings to "Extend a wireless network", and tell the AirPort Express which network it is extending along with password.

Once settings are saved, the network is extended. Using the 802.11N standard still involves a small hit in networking speed, but because of the greatly increased throughput it's not as large a decrease as in earlier versions.

This kind of configuration would have involved multiple instances of changing IP addresses, network SSIDs, and finger-crossing with other routers. (Believe me, I've done it successfully, and I plan for a two-hour session, even with known configurations.)

With the AirPort Extreme and Express, it just happened. My Squeezebox is now happily streaming music to the receiver, TiVo is receiving streamed programs from Netflix with (almost) no rebuffering--a huge improvement--and both my spouse and I are happily living in the 21st Century!

TiVo TCD652160 HD Digital Video Recorder

TiVo AG0100 Wireless G USB Network Adapter for TiVo Series 2 and Series 3 DVRs

As I said at the top, I don't want to spend hours tearing apart and troubleshooting my network at home--home is for relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family. The AirPort Extreme is ideal as one building block of that equation. - Apple - Wireless Router - Wireless N - 80211n'

Indestructible - dog items, indestructible

When we got our dog - a lab - we bought all sorts of balls to play fetch with. Tennis balls got one use before he destroyed them. He would literally crush them in his mouth and rip them apart. We've had this Kong ball for almost a month and I think it's the best investment we've made on a dog toy. Our dog loves this ball. We play fetch with it twice a day, he chews on it around the house, he even sleeps next to it at night. It still looks brand new...no signs of wear at all. KONG Ball Dog Toy, Medium/Large, Red

I had to write because my dog actually destroyed one of these! It took her over a month, however, to get little chunks to start coming off, at which point we threw it away and got her a new one. It's the best, most durable ball I've found and she LOVES it, so I don't mind replacing it periodically. She's got other, even more durable chew toys (the black Kongs are REALLY tough!), so we're going to use this ball for playtime from now on and not let her have unsupervised, constant access to it as a chew toy. Wish Kong made this out of their black rubber, actually! Fortunately, my beautiful rescue dog restricts her chewing to her stuff, or I'm sure she could destroy my house!

We have bought every kind of ball you can imagine for our 2 year old German Shepherd. He is hardly ever without a ball in his mouth. He has destroyed every toy he has ever had. We even bought him a small radiator hose because I knew Pit Bulls liked them and couldn't tear them up. Our dog did tear his up. The Kong Ball as lasted for a month so far and that is the longest any toy has lasted him. He loves it and has it in his mouth constantly and has not even been able to put a tooth mark in it. Would recommend this ball for anyone who has a big dog that likes to chew.

A large, heavy, and solid red rubber ball. This thing is sturdy and bounces quite well.

My bull mastiff loves this! This ball has lasted for a whole year so far, and she still loves to play fetch with it yet she somehow managed to destroy 90% of other toys. Kong ball still going strong!

My dog is constantly out to get me. Keeping little miss 'Princess Paws' from rooting through the trash, diddling the carpets or wrecking the house is like trying to keep Lindsey Lohan out of dive bars, crack dens and paparazzi mug shots. In other words -- nearly impossible.

But lord help me, I try.

All dogs like balls. Whether chasing, chewing or licking -- and whether their own or someone else's -- what dog can say no to a nice game of fetch with a happy fun rubber ball?

*MY* dog. That's what.

Try as I might, I couldn't get her interested in this product. And I tried everything. I rolled it to her. I rolled it away from her. I dangled it over her head, buried it in her food and tied it to the back end of that Schnauzer across the street she likes to trade sniffs with.

Nothing. It's like her ball-chomping gene has been removed or something.

Not her 'temperamental' gene, though. Last night, I was trying again to get her interested, waving the ball in front her like a manic rubber hummingbird. She finally had enough, batted the ball hard out of my hand, and it hit me right in the mouth. And stuck there. It took me half an hour to dislodge it from my jaw, and another before I could close it properly.

So I'm giving up on this toy. Next time I try to get her to show interest in something, it'll be a tuna fish sandwich on rye. I look forward to that.

Good toy, and simple to boot! Its a very large bright red rubber ball. Most small dogs wont be able to fit their mouth around it, but i bought it for my Alaskan Malamute and she can play with it just fine.

Just a word of warning though, this is the second all rubber ball i have purchased (The first was not Kong) and have had the same thing happen with both. DO NOT throw this ball directly at a hard surface that has an angle or could bounce into an angle. This is the second time i have thrown a hard rubber ball, only to have it come flying back at me and breaking my nose. $8 toy, plus a $450 doctors visit makes this the most expensive dog toy i have ever purchased. Wonderful toy, but be careful with it.

I have a Bull Terrier who is obsessed with playing ball. He usually destroys any toy within minutes. I have given him some irregular shaped, indestructible toys but none catch is attention like a ball. I ordered three large, solid ruber Kong balls. He has tried his best to destroy them but has not so much as even put a knick in them. They bounce great and seem to have a magic ingredient that dog's can't resist. Best of all, the kong ball is by far his favorite of all toys. You can't go wrong with these.

I currently live in an apartment with my lab-mix puppy and a 2 year old black lab. The black lab loves to put holes in all the toys and tennis balls I give to my dog--which then turns into my dog tearing at the puncture holes. I decided to buy the Kong Ball to reduce the number of tennis balls I go through. He has yet to puncture the Kong ball. Because the Kong ball is simply a rubber ball, it is a lot heavier than a tennis ball. At first it was more difficult for my dog to catch and carry over long distances. It also makes more noise when it hits the ground if you're not on the ground level in a house/apartment. The Kong ball resembles a Lacrosse Ball in size, weight, and construction. If you play with the Kong ball on a tennis court or any hard surface, it will bounce A LOT. It's funny to watch my dog try and jump to catch it in the air and completely miss. I do recommend this ball if you want to cut down on your dog destroying tennis balls. - Indestructible - Dog Toy - Kong - Dog Items'

yoga mat - yoga mat

I enjoyed using this Jade mat for the past 10 months or so. My only real gripe is that it wore out so quickly. To be fair, though, it didn't last any longer or shorter than my previous mats. But for the price, I had hoped that I could get more than a year of use out of it.

The mat is heavier and thicker than most mats. It is also, at least initially, perhaps a little less sticky than some of the other mats I've used. Once in a while I did have some trouble slipping on the mat during my practice, but this was due to sweat, and I doubt any other mat would perform better in this respect.

For the money, I would probably go for a Manduka mat. That's what I've switched to, and I have no complaints. The benefit of a Jade mat, however, is that it is more ecologically friendly since it is, I believe, constructed entirely out of biodegradable material, which is something you can't say for most mats, including the Manduka. Jade Harmony Professional 68-Inch x 3/16-Inch Yoga Mat (Purple)

I had been on the lookout for a decent non-slip mat for some time. Fortunately, not only did I find a good one, but it's environmentally friendly too! And in colors (early rubber mats were in white...snore)!

The cushion is nice too, especially if you attend classes at a studio with a hard floor surface (those thin, plastic mats just don't cut it on hardwood). It *is* heavier than the average mat, so you'll feel the difference rolling it up and carrying it around. Plus it doesn't slide in and out of my cloth yoga mat bag like the plastic mats, so I've given up the mat bag for velcro straps. There's a heavy rubber smell in the beginning, but that goes away with time.

Easy to clean too ~ I just rub down with anti-bacterial wipes. I can't comment on durability yet, as I've only had this mat for about 3 months. But I use it nearly every day and drag it back and forth to class, and it's as solid as the day I bought it.

I've used a Jade harmony yoga mat for more than 2 years in a regular vinyasa practice. I remember it had a rubber smell at first, but the smell didn't bother me at all (it's weird but I actually liked the smell).

I saw a couple reviewers said it was slippery and not durable - I have had the opposite experience. It's lasted more than 2 years and still has much life to it. It's slightly worn where my downdog hands and feet go, but has actually given me more traction in those places. I should also say I'm an advanced yogi and am very rough on it. It's also great for traction. I've tried Wai Lana and other mats and this one is definitely the best. It does get slippery if I'm completely drenched with sweat, so I don't practice hot yoga without a towel on it. But I typically sweat a lot and my slippage is fairly minimal.

Tip for cleaning - every 3-4 practices I take my mat in the shower with me and rinse both sides with water, then let hang dry. No chemicals and it's kept it clean and in great condition. I can't speak highly enough of this mat.

The mat is indeed very non-slip when it's clean. But when it's not clean, it's very slick, worse than the worst sticky mat. The problem is that its open cell construction (like a sponge) soaks up sweat and body oils voraciously. The only way to clean it thoroughly is to soak it because the oils and such soak deep into the mat and wiping doesn't clean it. Since it's a big rubber sponge it takes days to dry after soaking it. Even worse than the slipping is that it starts to stink pretty quickly when it's not clean. So it's been quite a chore keeping my mat clean enough to enjoy. I'm tossing this one when it turns six months and going back to a normal sticky mat. I'd rather deal with the slipping using a towel than bother with cleaning this mat anymore.

I was so frustrated with those so called "sticky mats" and skidless towels, I left everything to try a jade harmony mat.

This product worked really well for my slipping issues. When my yoga classes get really hot however, i do notice I may slide a little in down dog but it is nothing like any other mat I've tried.

Some people complain about the weight of the rubber mat, since it comes in 3 different thicknesses. Since I have scoliosis and want to carry as little as possible on my back, I chose to get the thinnest rubber mat (1/8" travel mat). While at the yoga studio, I place one of their common mats under my mat for added cushion. I also recommend doing this since the rubber mat tends to be a dust magnet. So if the floor isn't the cleanest (say if you practice at a gym studio), dust, hair and fuzz tends to attract to the mat.

The smell of the harmony mat is overwhelming when you first get it. It would make my entire room smell of rubber when I was trying to air it out. The smell, however, fortunately goes away over time. Just make sure you air it out for as much as possible.

I've had my harmony mat for about 10 months now and I don't notice any wear on it. - Yoga Mat'

Space Pen

After seeing many reviews here and on other sites, I decided to go ahead and purchase my first Fisher Space Pen. I've had mine for about a month now and I absolutely love it! It is compact when closed and won't catch on anything when it is in my pocket-I don't like carrying a purse. I have the brass one and it fits very well in my hand. When closed it is just a little bit longer than my middle finger. When open and with the cap on, it is almost exactly the same length as a Papermate Flexgrip with the cap off.

It writes smoothly on many different surfaces and it is always ready to write. When I first got the pen, I switched out the black ink with a blue refill. They have been in my desk drawer, just laying in the tray without anything covering them. The original "refill" works now just like it did when I got the pen. I like the pen so much that I purchased a few others. Fisher Space Pen, Bullet Space Pen, Gold Laquered Brass, Gift Boxed (400G)'

E-book Cases - e-book cases, kindle

I wanted an attractive neoprene case that would accommodate my Gelaskin Kindle cover, and this case works perfectly. It is light-weight, protects the Kindle from falls, and the front pocket is handy for carrying a few dollars for a coffee during my afternoon walk. Although I bought the case for use when traveling, it will be very handy around home too. Note: The neon green is not as bright as shown in the picture, more muted. rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case Cover for Amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device with 6" Display 3G Wi-Fi (3rd Generation and Latest Generation) (Black / Green Neon)

Excellent sleeve cover for my Kindle 3. It is light but very protective. The Kindle fits perfectly. Not enough room for the Kindle to moving around which is good for protection, but right size so you can put your Kindle and take it out in a comfortable way too. Lot of cushions thanks to the internal bubble design but such design does not make it bulky.

My only not so good comment is that, if you look carefully from the front side, mine it is not totally rectangular or well shaped; it looks like the hand made process or construction could be a bit better. But hey, not big deal!

If you want to enjoy and read your Kindle with no bulky covers on it but give some protection when you are not, there is no better sleeve than this one. It looks cool as well. I like it!

EDIT: My wife wanted a Nook Color and just for fun, I tried to use this sleeve for the Nook Color as well, it fits. I know has not been specifically designed for Nook Color, but wanted to make the comment. By the way, we returned the NC :-) ... but I know this review is not for that ...

EDIT#2: it works for Galaxy Tab too. You will find this same product listed for Galaxy Tab as well, but it's exactly the same. I love how it fits my Galaxy Tab; light but protecting, at the same time thanks to the bubble design.

This case really should get 4 1/2 stars.

I like the bubble lining since it gives a good deal of protection with very little weight. The fit of my "naked" K3 is nice and snug which makes me comfortable knowing she won't be sliding around while in the case.

One confusing thing: The sleeve case comes in a cardboard wrapper that lists the attributes of the case. One of these supposed attributes is a two-way zipper which this case does not actually have. No problems with the one-way zipper that it does have; I just thought a two way zipper would be nice. That way, I could put my K in the case top side first and adjust the two way zipper so that there is just a small opening to put the charging cable through, keeping my K safe while charging. As it is, I still put my K in top first and just close the one way zipper half way while I'm charging. Not a big deal and I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who wants good protection when carrying their K3 in a purse, backpack or briefcase.

I may have spent more time researching the perfect case, than I did on deciding which eReader to buy. I ended up with Nook and this case fits it perfectly. I spent a lot of time in Barnes & Noble trying the various covers and cases, but realized they wanted a lot of money for a case that didn't meet my requirements. I prefer to read my nook naked (no cover) and needed something that would protect but still allow me to slip the reader in and out easily. I also wanted the added pocket to hold the charging cable and night light. The green color of the zipper is more muted than the interior bubble material. All in all, I'm thrilled with my choice. My nook is safe and the case is just the ticket.

I was excited to order this because of the "egg crate" type interior. I carry my Kindle in my purse at all times and I worry about it getting squished. I currently have it in the Built neoprene sleeve, which I love, except it doesn't have a zippered top.

I ordered this two day air, got it in a few minutes ago, put my Kindle in it and it floats all around the case. I now have my Kindle in my Built sleeve, inside the Roo case. I just had to Fold the top of the sleeve down to zip the roo case. Now my Kindle is snug in the roo case.

I love the bubble case and show of bright green. Easy to remove/replace Kindle. My husband and daughter have the type of case that zips all the way and folds over. Not sure if this would be better or not. I just remove my kindle and lay it on the case to read. Since I keep my charger in the outside pocket, it creates a small incline which is helpful for reading. I would purchase this again.

Few little quirks that I did not like:

1. The case is bit more thicker and larger than I had hoped for. It allows me to fit my kindle with a silicone case, but I personally find that there is still too much space inside the case. I can feel and hear my kindle moving around inside the case.

2. For the extra front pocket, the opening is held with velcro. Personally I would like the case better without the velcro.

Otherwise the case is well built for its purpose and lets me carry my kindle around without fearing I would damage the kindle itself. - Kindle - E-book Cases - Kindle 3 - Kindle Covers'
