Ps3 Accessory - gun, playstation 3

This is my 3rd attempt at move guns. I started with the precision shot (pistol with nav attachment in front) that you can find here or in stores. That ones ok, don't have any complaints it's a solid pistol/smg. The next was the move submachine gun which is the tan one with the scope. Not the least bit satisfied with that one, I think it's cheaply made, flimsy, and not well designed, and you end up using the front trigger most of the time instead of the back trigger. Then I purchased this as my 3rd and it is by far my favorite.

As advertised, it has many different configurations so you can use it as an m16ish rifle, a smg, or a pistol, and maybe 1 or 2 other variations. I enjoyed the feel of each configuration, they are all good options and it's fun and easy to slide parts on and off. It isn't indestructable but it feels sturdy enough. Some key things you may be interested to know..

pros

-the trigger operates the move controller trigger, so it works great for most games out now

-It has buttons on the side that operate the nav triggers, you can use your left/front hand to hit those

-It is comfortable and fairly natural feeling to hold with your front hand at the end with a thumb on top to hit the move controller buttons, and has start and select buttons built into the gun, so it gives the best access I've seen to every button on both the move and nav

-It's just fun to play with and feels good to hold, and you can feel some subtle vibration when firing which is good

cons

-If you have small hands like I do, it feels like the trigger is a tiny bit too far away.. but it wasn't enough to detract from my gaming experience

In conclusion, this is my favorite gun out of the 3 that I have ordered. Don't bother with the other ones, just get 2 or 3 of these. If you want variety the precision shot pistol is a good gun, but avoid the tan submachine gun it is crap. PS3 Move Battle Rifle

Even though this is slightly pricer than most other PS move gun attachment, it is worth every penny if you want to have the arcade shooter feel at home. The major advantage is its lighweight 4-part break-away design that can give you options for the pistol, UZI/Guncon, short AK47, Pulse cannon and M-16 looks and feels.

So far I enjoy the enhanced arcade-like experience in Time Crisis Razing Storm and The Shoot with this PS move gun attachment.

With the Move Navigation Controller integrated in the grip, Cabela's Dangerous Hunt 2011 and Resident Evil 5 Move Ed. work wonderful as well. The only kink is the tip would need removed, in order for the PS eye to be able to detect the Move controller in Cabelas's 2011.

In terms of workmanship, the grip cover is prone to fall off easily if you don't have a navigation controller in place. On my unit, the lose plastic inside was making the rattling noise when I shaked it. Other than that, for the price of $30, the quality is considered fair.

Ok so I posted my video review of the Battle Rifle

[EDIT: sorry i cant post the video because the file is to large or the link to it because amazon wont let me but you can search for it on a popular video hosting site that apparently i am not aloud to name. you can find it if you search for "Playstaion move battle rifle"]

but just in case you cant find it here are the cliff notes:

Pros:

-Sturdy

-Doesnt look like a dollar store ball shooter

-Access to all buttons.

-Customizable looks with snap on Mag clip, Stock, Orange stick

-Calibrates just as well with almost every game.

-The Start and Select buttons are actually easier to access with the gun.

Cons:

-Access to all the buttons can be somewhat tricky (especially going back and forth between L1, L2, and the face buttons on the move controller)

-sliding plate that holds navi control is a bit loose sometimes.

finally, a few note worthy comments. i decided to leave these out of the review because its really not the guns fault, but they still are issues you might find. There is a drift in the calibration if you move the move wand to fast. i have heard a number of different reasons from the hardware causing it to the games themselves. you most likely will find yourself re calibrating the gun a few times. i heard there is a patch in the works from sony to fix this, but its something i suggest you google if you are having some real issues with it. Next is the control mapping. the gun is really only as good as the control scheme for it. please keep this in mind before buying the gun. the trigger to the gun is only for the T button on the move control so if some games decide to switch things up this gun, as well as most guns will be kinda useless.

other then that its my favorite gun for the playstation move which is saying a lot since i didnt think i would like it. im also getting the sub machine gun from CTA and i will do a review for that too, but for right now im probably keeping this as my main gun accessory for the Playstation Move.

I bought this gun with high hopes. I figured it was the first move accessory to use the moves ext to assign the buttons. This

is not the case. I had gotten used to playing shooters like MAG with the move and the controllers switch in this setup for right handed players. This makes the learning curve very long. For right handed players the move navigation controller should be a front grip. If you are a lefty this is the gun for you. Even as a righty the gun isn't bad, especially if you haven't learned how to play with the move already. It is possible to get used to. This gun is adequate to hold you over until the official playstation rifle comes with Killzone 3 in February. The official one will have the Nav on the front grip, take advantage of the moves ext and have programmable buttons. On a side not my barrel is loose and will not attach properly. My friend who also purchased this did not have this problem. - Move - Playstation 3 - Controller - Gun'

This item enables simples and easy navigation for the Samsung Continuum. The only thing I don't like is that when you plug it in, it automatically starts up the VZ navigator (it's a pay service). Camera Bracket - diffuser, flash bracket

I am glad I took a chance on a new seller as there was not any feedback for ALZO on Amazon when I was researching which kit to purchase. Free shipping was included, and I had the kit within a few days. I am very pleased with this product. It is sturdy yet lightweight for its size. I was worried about the quality for the price, but this will work perfect for portrait and wedding shoots. I have tried a few different types of flash brackets but have not been happy with the weight, quality or design of any of them. However, this one is perfect. You can not beat the price for everything that is included in this kit. Even though it was not all listed, included is storage pouches for everything: the softbox, the softbox connector hardware, a connector with two hot shoes and the very conveniently made telescoping flip bracket itself. For every other seller I researched, you have to at least buy the softbox connector hardware separately for $25-$30 extra. Putting the kit all together, it would seem like it would be too bulky and awkward to use, but I am not having any trouble getting used to it. Even attaching my 30D with a battery grip on it, it flips horizontally and vertically without a hitch. ALZO Flip Flash ® Bracket Softbox Kit - Achieve studio quality images with your Portable Flash Speedlight - for all DSLR - by alzodigital.com

This product is compact and has a very good build quality. Just do not forget to buy the hotshoe to hotshoe off camera cord. I ended up ordering mine just before I needed it and had to pay for rush shipping. I would recommend this unit.

This product is awesome. Very well built. I'm a professional photographer and I've used this product indoor for headshots and the results are great. The light from the soft box looks like the studio lighting for capturing headshots and portrait with limiting distance from the subject. Shipping was fast and I didn't have any problem with this product. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a versatile studio like lighting. Don't forget to use it with a monopod or tripod because it can be a little heavy.

First of all this product provides a nice carrying case which is a bonus.

Easy to assemble and gives just the right amount of light.

I take alot of pictures at area pools of swimmers. In water normal flash works well

but lighting when you are trying to get a picture of the kids out of the water is another story.

I find this to work well. I beleive the gym and pool lights are a sodium vapor light which gives off a yellow glow.

this helped to eliminate my problem. Excellent quality and great price here on amazon

Excellent build quality. Works great. It's like carrying around a mini studio light. My only complaint is there is no real lockdown in the vertical position which offers bit of give / wiggle. Other than that, this is the best I've seen , especially at this great price!

The quality of this product is better than what I expected! I have had many fellow photographers ask me where I got this gem. Most flash brackets flip the flash. This flips the camera. Easy to set up & use. It is awkward to carry for long periods, but worth it when you see the results. The ability to get that flash raised up so far is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

The Alzo comes with no instructions. Anyone will figure out how to put the Velcro "soft box" head together. Attaching the flash secured correctly so the soft box brackets, camera is difficult. There are two brackets. One to be used for the soft box, and one to be used without the box. You got to figure out the one you need, and configure.

The output light is actually very good. It does a great job for the price. Quality? Not so good. As one mentioned it is light-weight. To advertise that this item can be used for medium format cameras is pressing the issue big time. The way the camera/box/flash connect to the tripod places extreme stress on the major joints, and camera even leans (Using a Canon EOS 55-250mm, Speedlite 420ex.

We'll make it work. Might have to re-engineer the weight distribution so the item will be sturdy enough not to break. - Photography - Diffuser - Softbox - Flash Bracket'

The door handles came in very quickly and they work perfectly. I only needed 2 but the installation for my car was really easy and fast to do. I'd recommend anyone to buy this if your door handles are in poor condition or broken like mine was. 1998-2003 Toyota Corolla Tan Interior Door Handles Set of 4

im happy with the service that i was given. the fact that the ETA was suppose to be one the 1st of March instead i received my parts on the 26th of Feb. makes me want to go threw this company again. GREAT JOB !!!

Ordered and received very quickly and best of all thanks to the comments on Amazon from other users, decided to put them in myself instead of paying 100.00 like I did last time.....Easy,,,Just takes a little patience, Had them installed on 3 doors in less than 20 minutes.

This was a great buy! Shame Toyota handles don't seem to last as long as their cars. Over 200,000 miles and several broken handles. Was so glad to find this product. Saved money, Great service, timely shipping. Would buy again but hope I don't have to.

This is an amazing product, it perfectly suited my car and shipping was excellent, i have not expected such a fast service from the seller. I recommend this seller, given an oppurtunity i will definetely buy other product from the same seller.'

Kids Flippers

Hi,

These fins were almost perfect -- soft, pliable, and effortless for a 3-year-old to kick through the water. Out little guy learned to swim wearing them.

However, they do come off often, which in itself is not a problem. But it does mean having to put them on again and again. The problems with the fins are the reinforced holes where the straps fit through.

Putting them on over and over again and tightening the straps weaken the rubber around the holes, and one strap broke through rendering the fin useless.

I got a full refund from Amazon! So the only hard feelings are from having to return a wonderful product that really opened up the water to our toddler.

If FINIS finds a stronger way to attach the straps to the fins (like grommets), then I'd highly recommend them. Our boy loved them.

Even coming off often is not that big of an inconvenience, since tiny feet don't exactly fill up the space. It's as if FINIS put a lot of research into making a perfect fin for little swimmers, but not enough research was spent on finding a good way of attaching the perfect fins to tiny feet.

Thank you. FINIS Kids Child Finz (Blue)

We bought these flippers for fun in the pool. The packaging says they fit sizes 11-2. We tried them on 4 children sizes 11, 12, 13 and 1 and they fell off of each child while swimming. They would stay on for a few minutes if you placed the velcro over the ankle instead of behind the heel, but no more than a few minutes at a time.

I expected something like the uncomfortable hard plastic fins I've seen in the past, but these fins are made of a high quality soft rubbery material which seems very comfortable. My 2 1/2 YO son really likes them and shows no signs of discomfort. They also seem to be a good size, not so big as to hinder his swimming.

I bought these for my 4 year old son who loves everything that has to do with scuba diving, the ocean, sharks, etc. He has a mask and snorkel and wanted flippers to complete his outfit. (He also wants a wet suit and an aquarium tank, but we'll have to wait a while for those!!!) Anyway, he loves these. I think there was another review of this product stating that the strap in the back broke, but we have not had a problem. Maybe they have been redesigned as the strap is not plastic; it is a velcro strap that seems to be pretty secure. Granted, we have confined our use of the flippers to the bath tub, but still very happy with this product.

These would not stay on my kid, no matter how much we adjusted the backstrap. We got the yellow toddler size and we thought perhaps our toddler was too small for them even though his size was within the size range. Every few months we would give them a try and they still fell off. The Finis Baby ones though twice the price never once fell off in the two years of baby/toddler swim lessons we had. The only pro for these is that they are smaller more compact and lighter if you are traveling with them, but if you are going to the ocean, I'm afraid the waves will just take these away.'

Tool Bags - custom leathercraft, excellent

This is a great bag. Bigger than I'd thought it would be, with pockets everywhere. I'd give it 5 stars, but my only gripe is that I wish that it was easier to access the big middle storage area. I always have to move the handle aside to move my items in & out. (Which isn't really that much of a bother....) Custom LeatherCraft 1528 23 Pocket Large Electrical and Maintenance Tool Carrier

About Me: I work on a little bit of everything, home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, appliances, security systems, surveillance systems, so my favorite, gotta have tools run the gamut. My old bag was a smaller AWP of similar style.

About this bag...

First off, I just got it and loaded it up so my opinion will change as time goes on. What follows are just my initial impressions.

Pros: Nice bag. Nice construction. Looks like it will last for years. You can cram a lot of stuff in this bag. The small parts box in the bottom is a nice touch and will come in handy. Looks impressive when fully loaded.

Cons: I think they really missed the boat on how they laid out the tool storage. There are no loops for storing screw drivers and nut drivers so you either have to cram them all into one of the large inside pockets or split them up one or two to a pocket in the outside pockets. Some of the outside pockets are so deep, you can't use them for most tools so they are limited to longer tools like channel-locks or linesman pliers. Pockets for regular sized hand tools (pliers, needle-nose etc.) are also in short supply. I don't like putting more than one tool in a pocket. The zippered pocket/mesh pocket on the one end is too small. Should have been more pouch like in order to make it more crammable (is that a word?).

I'll keep it, but I'm sure I'll have to add a few "after-market" customizations to make it work for me. I uploaded some pics to give you a better idea. They sure left a little to be desired in that area. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Yes.

Previously had the smaller version, which was excellent, but needed the extra room and bigger parts compartment.

Extremely pleased with the design and performance of this toolbag. It's listed as having fewer pockets than it's smaller brother, but as I packed it, it seemed to have many more. And the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry.

Highly recommended. A+++++++++++...............

great tool bag, I use this at work every day. Hold all my maintenance tools i need, plus room for extra tools. Holds 30 to 40 pounds of tools and hardware with ease. Highly recommend this tool bag, great parts tray hides under tool bag.

This tool bag is working very well for me. Pleanty of pockets so I don't have to dig to find the tool I'm looking for. I also like the small parts container that stores in the bottom of the bag. The only thing buyers need to be aware of is that this is a LARGE bag. Some may prefer a little bit smaller bag.

This isLasted 2 years and finally wore out , I am a service plumber and I need a real bag to carry real tools. This is my second bag of this style. The first was GREAT! The 2nd one I purchased had changed and for the worse. They added these steel dowels into the handles and into the bad vertically in all 4 corners. ALL the dowels have come out and before i knew this i scratched a customer's floor. The bag is very uncomfortable to carry..Trust me I carry this a lot all day. The sides have collapsed even with the steel dowels. The old one never had this in it. Just another example of messing up something that is aleady good. I am now trying to return this product either for an exchange or a refund. This is a $30 bag. That is not cheap. Home Depot has the same style for $20 with an additional larger bag. I liked this one and bought another . If Amazon or the company does nothing then I will buy 2 cheap ones instead of this company's now marginal product. A lot of you are probably saying this guy is just a complainer. I buy all quality tools and am a professional. I think companies need to be accountable and a lot are NOT!!!! Thanks for listening.. Good luck with your bag If you use it light duty then maybe it will not be a problem but if this company wants to hang with pros then they better man up..

I'm on my second CLC 1528 tool bag in 6 years. Both times I did my research and both times ended up with the 1528. I carry this bag in and out of homes on a daily basis, and although I've got it chock full and weighing 50 lbs. I rarely need anything I can't fit in this bag. I'm a low voltage installer and this bag is perfect. I can fit nearly every tool I need in this bag, including my drill and bits/drivers. The bottom tray is awesome for all the small fittings and parts I need. My only complaints are the metal rods in the carry handle pierce through the fabric (so I simply removed them), and would not be an issue if you primarily use the shoulder strap (which I do not). The vertical support rods eventually push through the bottom, which is not cool when you're setting your bag down on someone's maple flooring in their 1.2 million dollar home. The mesh zippered bag side and the opposite tape measure side both need vertical rods in the outside corners to keep the sides from deforming, which they don't have (again, I've fixed this issue myself). All the cons aside, I'll choose this bag again when my current one needs replacing. I know its downfalls and I can live with or fix them.

best tool bag by far, i've owned 2 of carriers already and when i went back to the box store get another one they had stopped carry them. i searched everywhere for one no one carried them.

then i decided to check with amazon, i should have known they would have it. i've never been disappointed with amazon.

I do HVAC systems in biochem labs and hospitals and this bad is PERFECT for me. From the size to the layout to the compartments, this thing is the bomb! A coworker dug on it right away and asked me to order one for him right away - Craft Bag - Custom Leathercraft - Tool Bag - Excellent'

Rechargeable Batteries - kodak, battery charger

I purchased a Kodak Z812IS which came with 2 Kodak AA batterys. I took maybe 20 photos before the batterys died a death. I then tried rechargeable 2450mAh batterys, which the advertising told me would take up to 600 photos, I got 30. So with much trepidation I purchased Li-Ion charger and battery. On the first charge I took over 300 photos with the LCD screen on, and the occasional flash. The low battery indicator light did not even come on. What a pity Kodak don't include the pack with the camera. Excellent value for money. Kodak Digital Camera Battery Charger K8500-C

I admit it... I'm cheap. I tried to buy a generic battery/charger for my Kodak camera. The thing crapped out in less than 2 months.

So I sucked it up and bought the Kodak battery/charger. Worth every penny. And still it was a much better deal than buying it at the store.

We purchased this battery and charger because nothing else was holding a charge very long so we decided to spend a few extra dollars and get a Kodak battery and charger. So far the battery has been excellent. The charger also charges quickly. We haven't had it long enough to say how it is in the long run, but so far so good. The only thing is that it is hard to get the battery out, nothing major. Enjoy.

I was just about to give up on my camera because it would go through batteries after just a few pictures and then would shut off with the lens open. I thought my camera was defective! I was online and looking for a solution or I was going to buy a new camera. I saw that I was not the only one having this problem and I should get a rechargable battery with the charger. The camera takes such good pictures but needs more juice than normal camera's is what I gather. Anyway after getting this battery and charger I have not had to recharge yet and it's taking great pictures. I have had it for a few weeks now and it's just wonderful to be able to pick up my camera and take pictures whenever I want! If your camera is drinking batteries get this product, it's wonderful.

We were going through sooo many batteries with this camera. We were convinced that the camera itself was broken. A little netvestigating later and we discovered that our high performance camera requires high performance gasoline. Enter the Kodak K8500.

Now we're back to being able to use our camera like normal people again!

We frequently do day-long photo shoots and this battery/charger combination keeps us going the whole time. If you've been having trouble with your camera sucking up batteries like Pacman on a rampage, look into this Kodak combo.

Definatley recommend this battery and charger make it so I can actually use my Kodak Easyshare Z1485-IS, 14.1 Megapixel Camera. With other batteries you can take about 20-30 Pictures and it's over, but with this battery hundreds. What a difference, worth the price and a lot less hassle than going through AA's like crazy.

I sent for this because I needed the charger. It came with the battery that should have fit my camera, however it did not. It seemed just a tiny bit too long. I did not really need the battery, but it should have fit.

Quality of the charger is very good, shipping was free and VERY fast))) It goes with different adaptors that is very important for me as traveler, charging process usually takes 3 hours and I can make 300 photos on my Kodak IS 1485))

I have never been fond of rechargeable batteries for my digital cameras because they tend to take too long to charge and then only last for a few pictures. I've spent years using the CRV3 or simply AA batteries. I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare Z1485 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5 inch LCD (Black), and had to reconsider my stance on rechargeable batteries for the camera.

This combination of charger and battery was more expensive than the generic "replacement" chargers/batteries listed on Amazon. I was wary of using them, though, based in part on some of the negative ratings, and the fact that I didn't want to be disappointed in the middle of my vacation.

The charger works very quickly, and the battery easily lasts for 100+ pictures, including flash and LCD screen. Very impressed. Money well spent. - Battery Chargers - Kodak - Battery Charger - Camera Battery'

Digital Media Devices - media streaming, roku

I've been using Roku 2 XS for a few days now and I must say I like the device, but there are quite a few hiccups. So first the good stuff.

* The Box is tiny and the setup is a breeze. I was up and streaming in under 5 mins.

* Netflix, Huluplus, Amazon and Pandora worked fine

* Streaming in 1080p worked fine without buffering (I use Xfinity) and the quality is superb

* The Ethernet option (available only in XS) is very helpful and the Quality of streaming is far better than wireless

and the not so good stuff:

* The Box does not have adequate memory and needs an external micro-SD card for more capacity

* The device re-booted a few times for me when switching between channels. I was initially very upset with this as the reboot process takes about 3-4 mins. I called support and they asked me to uninstall Angry Birds as it takes up huge amount of space. Did that and then on no re-boots. This sucks as Roku 2 advertises Angry Birds big time and the remote is designed for that, but the device is not capable without additional memory

* It is non-sense that I buy the high end XS version for Ethernet and HD support and I still have to buy HDMI cable and Ethernet cable separately!

* I mainly bought Roku for streaming International Channels and to my horror I found that most of the channels do not work in Roku 2!! Apparently Roku 2's video format is different to that of Roku 1. Roku support says that the Channel provider needs to fix it and the Channel provider's support say that Roku needs to fix it!!! So why advertise them and make me sign up for them then??

* Finally, many channels have sub-channels within them. Switching from One channel is only possible through menus and there are no short-cuts. It takes up to 5 to 6 button press to switch Channels and it obviously sucks.

Verdict:

If Roku is serious of competing with Apple TV and Content is the differentiator, then Roku needs to pay more attention to the content and ensure it works and make the user experience better. Roku 2 XS Streaming Player 1080p

This little player, about the size of a hockey puck, is exactly what I was looking for. It's cheap, easy, and fun. I got it to play Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Vimeo, and everything else it does is a pleasant add-on, especially motion-controlled Angry Birds. If you're in the market for a Roku 2, I think you might as well get this high-end model (there are stripped-down versions for less money) since it has a few more capabilities, including a game controller, an ethernet jack, and a USB port for playing external files. The software interface is not slick but everything fast and responsive.

I've docked one star from my review because my unit has crashed/rebooted a few times, possibly as a result of the Facebook photo screensaver I've installed on it. I hope this issue will be fixed with a software update. Waiting for the machine to restart takes a few minutes. Also, there are a few features I'd like to see (mostly things the Apple TV can do, see below), but for what this thing is, it does its job quite well.

How is the Roku 2 different from the Apple TV (which it resembles, and I also considered)? It's physically similar and has some overlapping features, but here are the main differences as I see them:

BOTH have Netflix Streaming and sports channels such as NBA and MLB (subscription required for this stuff). Both have wired and wireless network capabilities. Both are tiny, power-sipping, unobtrusive little devices that could probably be embedded in TV hardware.

AppleTV (not the Roku 2!) has tight iTunes integration, including iTunes movie rentals, streaming from a local PC/Mac with iTunes installed, and YouTube. AirPlay (stream to the box from your iOS device) is supported and works well and adds to the usability of this device if you have an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. At this time, you can only use the "apps" that are included with the box. The AppleTV remote is made of attractive aluminum but relies on line-of-sight infrared signals. AppleTV requires an HDTV to work and displays up to 720p resolutions.

Roku 2 (the product being reviewed! not AppleTV!) has a "channel" installer which you can easily manage via a web app on your computer. This system is a bit less polished, but a lot more open than the AppleTV system. Roku Channel choices include Amazon Prime videos, Amazon rentals, Vimeo, Hulu Plus, Pandora Radio, and bunch of streaming news and movie services. The Wii-like game remote comes with Angry Birds and more 2D casual games are promised. The game controller has built-in accelerometers and game-friendly buttons, and it works well for this game. This layout would be ideal for Super Nintendo style games, too. I like how it doesn't require an IR receiver like the Wii remote does. The tiny Roku 2 box has an IR receiver so you can use a universal remote with it, but the included remote uses RF signals and doesn't need line-of-sight to the box. Roku 2 XS can run on pretty much any TV (it includes component cables) and can display up to 1080p resolutions.

As you can see, these two machines are similar, but not the same. I chose this machine because it worked with an old SDTV, could play Amazon Prime videos (lots of kids programming on there, thanks Amazon), and offers a nice, standalone alternative to the Apple ecosystem.

With an upgraded processor and design, it carries most of the same features as the original player in a smaller size; the main changes is the Wii like remote and Angry Birds being included along with a small selection of games that you can purchase from their games store.

My main peeve is the same as the first player; the device never powers off. This messes with my auto switcher and I have to unplug the Roku when I'm not using it and want to watch something else or play games. Roku's whole goal with this is so that the unit will always be able to receive updates. Even with them saying that it consumes little power while idle, I would rather have the option to power off. I know I could get a better switching system that would correct this, but I don't feel like spending the money on that part of the system at this time.

I've heard several complaints of no Optical connections, which depending on your setup can be a big hindrance, for me this isn't a big issue as I don't use optical. All else fails, you can always get a HDMI to Optical converter box. This may be a big reason that a lot of customers stay with the original Roku or go for another system all together.

The Roku 2 no longer supports dual band Wireless N, it only works in the 2.4 Ghz range.

The XS model is the only one that comes with an Ethernet port, so if you have poor or no wireless you'll need to get this version to be able to connect. For the extra $30 dollars this player costs you, it includes the spiffy remote, Free Game, Ethernet port and USB option. So if you have any hesitation, opt for the XS.

They've moved the USB connection to the side of the device, but you'll have to wait till September for the full USB functional to be released in a new firmware update. Until then you'll have limited compatibility and functionality.

They've opted for a Micro SD card to increase device memory when you need more space for games or more channels. I know it's smaller in size, but I would have liked to see a Standard SD card slot so I don't have to buy special memory for this specific device. Just personal preference and doesn't hinder the usability.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the future their next system was an all out gaming console. With the new focus on games, it just opens up the possibility.

Overall, I'm a casual TV watcher, I might watch an hour a day or less and it fits my needs. if you don't care about the games and a little bit of added performance your original Roku will work just fine for you. Otherwise, if you care about size, new technology, and the option for basic games. It's worth the upgrade. - Media Streaming - Blueproton - Roku - Digital Media Devices'

spark plugs - spark plugs

Hey, these things really make my LS1 run a whole lot better.

By better, I mean better mileage and smoother performance.

I just bought them because I had 30K on the old ones. I was

surprised to feel a power difference. Bosch (4505) HGR8DQI Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plug, Pack of 1

I put 6 of these into two different Blazers. A 1999 and a 2001, both with the Trailblazer trim package. After 6 months of use, both engines have seen a significant decrease in fuel efficiency, losing an average of 3mpg. That's a 15% drop in fuel economy. I've since learned these plugs do not do well in GM engines in general and Chevys in particular. I will be replacing them all this weekend with stock platinum AC Delco plugs.

Do yourself a favor. If you are considering these plugs, do a little research first and make sure you are going to get out of them what you hope. I didn't and now I'm paying for it.

I am not saying these are inherently bad plugs. It's just that these plugs don't perform well in my application.

Purchased this for my 1999 Ford Taurus with Bosch 09743 Premium Spark Plug Wire Set.Unfortunately my car still had the original spark plugs and wire set (130,000 miles).Replacing the wires and spark plugs improved my engine response overall. Engine runs a lot smoother than before.

I honestly did not think I'd be able to notice my engine running quieter and smoother, but I'm happy with this even if it doesn't improve my gas mileage!I was concerned with misfires, and what some people commented was to make sure that the wires go to the exact place where they came from.I was very careful when replacing the wires and the spark plugs. It was a fairly easy job to do, taking about an hour to finish it all!Highly recommend this spark plugs. Later on I'll comment on gas mileage, since I do gas control for the past 3 years with my car. I'll be able to know how big of an improvement it gave me on gas mileage.Average before Spark Plugs & Wire Set:

City: 19 MPG

Highway: 22 MPGAverage after Spark Plugs & Wire Set:

City: Will update later

Highway: Will update later

These spark plugs may be a clever implementation of an old idea, but they don't get along with my Ford Explorer. Immediately after installing these, the engine began to misfire at 1500-2000 RPM no load and at very light load (30MPH in 5th gear). Misfire city. Fine under load, so they were not cracked. Hundreds of misfires on the OBD2 counter. Searching the internet revealed I was not the only one having problems with bosch plugs in explorers. Just to be sure, I also cleaned the MAF sensor and checked for vacuum leaks. Replacing these with autolite APP103 cured the misfire. I suspect the "no gap required" is not a hot enough spark. Avoid these in a ford explorer. I had to give a rating - 0 stars is more appropriate. I wish I could return them.

Our Aviator had 90,000 plus miles so it was time to change plugs. Make sure you have your dealer change the plugs because it's not easy. You have to remove several items before you get to the plugs. I took it to the Lincoln dealer and they changed the plugs for me in approximately 1.5 hours. These plugs run identical to stock. At first I was getting 50 more miles per tank and an additional 1 mpg gallon but now it has tampered off. No problems so far.

In conjunction with new Motorcraft plug wires i picked up a few horses and i think a tad better mileage so far. Have driven over 500 miles on them no engine codes or problems so they run fine. Went into my 99 Taurus with a Vulcan engine

Well I finally changed my old plugs with these ones, got more power engine, better gas mileage BUT i notice my car starts vibrating as soon as I hit 60 mph. dont understand why but that is my only issue. - Spark Plugs'

Carbon Monoxide - smokedetector, kidde

We live in a 4 level split home. Our gas furnace is on the lower, 3rd level. Two years ago we had several smoke alarms, but only one carbon monoxide detector on the top, bedroom level of our home. One early Saturday morning we awoke to the voice of this alarm broadcasting, "WARNING! CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTED!" over and over again. I got out of bed and took the batteries out of the unit. By then my then 16 year old daughter came out of her room and was watching me. I told her to go back to bed, but she asked me why we weren't going outside to our designated emergency spot. I thought I was being a bad example after all the years of telling the children to get our of the house if an alarm went off. I didn't think there was a problem. I assumed the unit was broken or needed a new battery. I wasn't thinking clearly. So, I put the batteries back in to see if it would go off again. It did. She again asked why we weren't following the rules and going outside, so we left the house and called 911.

When the firemen arrived I kept apologizing for calling them to our home for an obvious mistake. I thought the firemen would tell us it was a false alarm. It wasn't. The heater core had cracked and was leaking carbon monoxide. The levels were high enough to make us confused, but not yet put us to sleep. Had my daughter not watched me handle the alarm I would have gone back to sleep without ever putting the batteries back in. We were very lucky to have my daughter and this CM detector.

The voice made everything so much clearer than just a siren. If it hadn't said "carbon monoxide" I would have left the batteries out and gone back to sleep because I couldn't see any smoke or fire and I was tired. I don't think I would have thought about carbon monoxide. It was well worth every penny. I now have CM detectors on every floor of my home. This talking carbon monoxide detector helped save my families life. Kidde KN-COSM-B Battery-Operated Combination Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm with Talking Alarm

After looking at the excellent ratings for this product, I purchased two units and installed them - one each in the bedroom and the utility room. One day, I was getting the toddler to sleep when I smelt smoke and something burning. Upon exiting the bedroom (which has one detector), I noticed that the house was full of thick black smoke from a "microwave cooking accident". There was no fire. The fact that the smoke detector did not go off bothered me and I did a bit of reading on the detection systems. Turns out that there are two detection mechanisms - ionization and photoelectric...and to cut a long story short, one needs to have both types of mechanisms in operation. The manual of this product pretty much says the same thing on page 6. However, it does not tell me which smoke detection technology the unit uses - information that I can use to purchase a different smoke detector with the other mechanism to compliment this one. I can only know how good this product is when it responds to something that triggers it. It did not pick up smoke that I picked up by smelling, and the documentation is inadequate. That is why I give it a one.

I've installed installed two of these Kidde brand combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in my elder parents home. I have one in my own home as well and have found them all to be reliable and trouble free.

What attracted me to this model were its many features:

First, it has a low profile, attractive and unobtrusive design.

Second and perhaps most important, it has a voice speaking function that, in addition to the 85db alert horn, will speak out clear warnings: "FIRE, FIRE" or "DANGER: CARBON MONOXIDE". I think that this feature is a terrific addition toward modern life-safety technology. Indeed, you will likely see more voice warning devices in the near future.

We rely on these detectors to warn us, especially at night when we are sleeping. Awakening to this detector from a deep sleep helps orient you quickly by telling you the specific danger -- clearly and unmistakably. Notably, recent studies have shown that children can sleep through traditional smoke detector alarms, but will respond to voice warnings -- which this unit provides. Thus, placed in or near bedrooms this device can be a true lifesaver.

Another favorite feature is ease of installation. It was a breeze and truly could not be simpler. A screwriver is all you need. A small power drill/driver would speed the process, but is not necessary. Two screws into the ceiling or wall and you are done with the mounting bracket. The detector then just clicks in to place with a clockwise flick of the wrist. This is a do-it-yourselfer's dream. It doesn't get any easier!

Battery maintenance is easy too as all you need do is turn the detector counter-clock wise a few clicks, and down it comes. You slide open the battery cover, take out the old batteries and pop in the new. Replace the detector back in the attached ceiling bracket, give it a slight turn and in it goes with a firm click. Done! Easier than screwing in a light bulb.

Finally, the price is right! Under $40 for a unique life-safety device that is quickly installed and easily maintained.

I have elected to use Energizer lithium batteries and replace them every 12 months -- with no problems. You may wish to change the batteries every 6 or 9 months. Duracells would also be a good choice. I personally would not use the cheaper, so called "heavy duty" batteries in a life-safety device.

I should add that I would also suggest that if you have a home with multiple levels or an apartment with several rooms, having a separate stand-alone carbon monoxide detector elsewhere in the house as part of a total home plan would be a wise investment. Kidde also makes a fine combination model that protects against Carbon Monoxide and Explosive Gas. That unit, which has a digital display, runs on electricity and has a battery back-up system. It plugs in any electric outlet and can stay in the wall socket, or it can be placed flat on a table or dresser.

I would also recommend Kidde's dedicated dual sensor photoelectric/ionization smoke detectors. These dual sensor devices provide maximum warning under fast or slow moving fire conditions. As one never knows what kind of fire could occur, these are the most versatile.

Be sure to test your alarm regularly. REMEMBER that most carbon monoxide detectors NEED TO BE REPLACED about every five to seven years (see manufacturer's guidelines). Similarly, smoke detectors have a useable life span as well. It's usually a little longer than carbon monoxide detectors -- check your manufacturer's guidelines. - Home Safety - Smokedetector - Kidde - Smoke Alarms'

Rechargeable Batteries - camera battery, sony battery

It was an excellent purchase. The price was one cent and I could not beat that. The shipping was reasonable and I received it in the mail before the earliest date to expect it. My wife and I are quite pleased. The batteries themselves were selling for $40 to $50 for the newer cameras. NP-FD1 NP-BD1 battery

My son, Alan, helped me obtain battery replacements for my Sony Cyber-shot Exmor R 10.2 megapixel digital camera thru Amazon. They were approx $40 each at several well known electronic stores but I was able to order a few through Amazon at less than $4 each - BIG SAVINGS

battery fits too tight in my camera & doesn't release from it like the original battery does. I believe it's the outer wrap on it that causes this. Other than that, I'm just happy for a back up battery for when the one goes dead & I need one. Wished the camera would charge while plugged into the computer!

Purchased this battery to have an extra. This battery ruined my Sony Cyber shot camera! It would not eject from camera! Had to be pryed out! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Saving on this after market battery will cost you your $300 camera! - Sony Battery - Rechargeable Batteries - Sony Rechargeable Battery Pack - Camera Battery'

I hope that this helps you! (it kinda makes me hungry) Mr. Sketch Scented Water Color markers, 18-Color Set(20071)

i just got these the other day i highly recomend them!

i like all there flavors and if you want a few fun games to play try this put in a bag and pull 2 out and smell them together and/or do a smell test!i love orange and blue slushie or banana!my teacher has them in her class room and evry body uses them and they are bright they are a little more expensive but its worth buying them its not a doubt! scented markers rule

Mr. Sketck scented parfumes aromatizados - with SIX new scents. Oh what fun. My son absolutely loves these markers. We got this new box for the new scents (school is starting soon) and it's a small price to pay for joy and a little motivation to return to the daily grind.

These are the fatter markers (not for precise drawing). They're great for larger projects and collering in big pictures. I've been surprised on how long they last. With proper care and keeping the lids on, they last longer than regular markers.

The smells! They're pretty strong. Thankfully, they're non-toxic because it can be worrysome when your child is stuffing markers up their nose for a whiff. These the child can smell without getting ink all over their face. And their picture will smell nice too - but if they use all the colors its hard to distinct which ones are on the page.

Colors and smells include: Black/Licorice, Red/Cherry, Blue/Blueberry, Green/Mint, Pink/Melon, Turqouise/Mango, Yellow/Lemon, Orange/orange, Brown/Cinnamon (my favorite!), Purple/Grape, Dark Green/Apple, Magenta/Rasberry, Pink/Bubble Gum, Lavender/Cotton Candy, Lt. Yellow/Banana Split, Peach/Peach, Lt. Blue/Blue Rasberry Slushy, Lt. Green/Tropical Punch.

I used to use these markers in grade school, middle school, high school and college. And now my kids are having so much fun with them. They love using them in their activity books and coloring books. They are more pricey than Crayola or Rose Art, but well worth the extra cost. They are fun and last a long, long time. You definitely will not be disappointed!

I'm a daycare mom and my first set of MR.SKETCH markers lasted me 7 years! I love the fruity scents and they print so nicely. I was excited to see them available in a larger set. I use them for nametag making, parent memos and tracing activities. They work much better and are a sturdier although pricier marker then crayola. You won't be disapointed.

These markers are great! I bought them for my nephew who loves them. (These were actually an upgrade for him, as I had previously purchased him the 12-pack.) The scent will last as long as the markers do, which is a long time. Mr. Sketch has been around since I was a kid (I'm 29 now) and they are as great as I remember! Any kid would love these.

Corporate trainers and teachers have been noticing for two years that the quality of Mr.Sketch markers has dropped significantly. The tips do not write well and they are not "juicy" enough, so letters on a flip chart can no longer be seen at a distance. Calling the company (contact information below) just confirms that they know they have a problem and are "working on it" but there is no solution yet. Very disappointing for us very loyal customers who have insisted on what were the best writing, non-toxic, brilliant colored markers out there at a reasonable price. Please join in and urge them to return to their prior quality. Newell Rubbermaid Office Products Group (formerly Sanford)

My first experience with these markers was for a presentation at work. Since that time I have used many sets of these markers and have never been disappointed. Our grandkids use them now; and each one has to have their own set.The colors are vivid and bright; the scents are a hit with kids and grownups alike.'

Mens Underwear

Had this shipped to me in Iraq. My underwear collection was hurting and the local laundry service had done a number on my undergarments over the months. I was so happy to get these. I still remember slipping into my new boxer briefs. They are durable and held up admirably to the stresses of combat. Hanes Classics Men's 4-Pack Multi-Color Boxer Brief Underwear, Slate Heather/Blue Stone/Scuba Blue Heather/Federal Blue, Large

These briefs advertise a "no ride up" quality (a definite bonus!) and after trying them on, I could see why: the fit on the thigh is quite tight. I ordered a medium and I have average thigh thickness, but these didn't feel particularly comfortable. If the lower thigh portion had more elasticity, this wouldn't be a problem, but there was little "give" in this area. The fabric itself is average quality and actually a little rough. I was looking for a tighter woven, softer feel that I've become accustomed to with Calvin Klein and some of the Jockey boxer briefs. On the plus side, the waist band is soft and comfortable and the pouch has an airy yet slightly snug "cup" feel. Also, considering the price, these aren't a bad value, so for the less-picky (not me) these may work just fine.

The boxers are decent. The cut is okay. I ordered the size corresponding to my waist but they are still a little big on me. they don't hug my thighs the way i would like them to. Still, they look okay.

Hanes makes a surprisingly good, comfortable men's boxer brief. The fabric is quite soft and although at first I felt they were a bit too snug in the thigh I got used to that pretty fast especially with the underwear becoming more comfortable after a cycle or two through the washer and dryer. Now the overall feel is quite comfortable.

True, they don't give you quite as much room as regular boxers but now I like these very much as I got to like wearing them pretty fast. (It's not that snug in the thigh.) The front opening makes it easy to wear while urinating and the elastic waistband is very well made. They last a long time, too.

I highly recommend these boxer briefs.

I was planning on buying some ck briefs but I was lucky and saw this in the process,I can honestly say that they are very close in quality at a great price, this so far have work perfectly and are very comfortable.

My suggestion would be: If you plan on buying quality at a good price go for it, unless you want premium at a premium price.

When I first received these Hanes Classics Men's 4-Pack Multi-Color Boxer Brief Underwear, I was pleased with their fit and comfort. After a couple of washes ( on gentle cycle in cold water and without over drying) I noticed that the there were little strings coming out around the waistband on a couple of pair. Not long after this the stitching continued to come apart and the waistband began separating from the boxer briefs.

I therefore cannot recommend these. I can however recommend the Hanes CSWB Boxer Briefs. They are comparably priced and seem to be better made with a nice comfortable fit.

My husband always buys Hanes boxer briefs because they're very comfortable and durable. These start off a little snug on the thighs but they loosen a little for a more comfortable fit after a few washes. The elastic waistband looks nice and holds up well.

These are my favorite boxers from now on. They are very, very comfortable and do not give you wedgies.

The price is great as well, but it seems that Amazon raised the price on them. Shame really because I got them under $14.'
