Sport - sport headphones, running
Over the past 15 years I have purchased only Sony Headphones (MDR-W08, MDR-A35) and I have always viewed these phones as excellent and cost effective. However, I recently purchased the Sony MDR-AS35W headphones (replacement for the MDR-A35) and found them to be the poorest sound quality of any of Sony's past headphones. I am a perfectionist when it comes to listening to my Sony Walkman and my Apple iPhone with headphones; my old Sony MDR-A35 headphones are excellent. When I recently purchased the new Sony MDR-AS35W, I anticipated that the quality would be at least equal to the MDR-A35, however I found the sound quality to be the worst of any headphones I have ever owned. I tried these headphones on many different high-end players and they always sound the same ...... terrible. The MDR-AS35W cannot reproduce clear/clean high-end or midrange frequencies, they sound muffled by the low range (bass) frequencies. I listened to all different types of musical content and it was always the same..... terrible sound quality. Sony needs to take these off the market immediately and replace them with their older model MDR-A35. Sony MDR-AS35W Sports Headphones Lightweight with Powerful Bass
Although I have only had this product for a few days, I wanted to share my thoughts on them, because it seems there have only been 2 reviews as of 8/10/10 on this product, and both have been negative. I wanted to be different, and provide my thoughts on them. I bought these headphones at best buy, and I am glad I did. The reason is because for $5.00 more, you get the geek squad warranty, which says it will replace your headphones if they break for up to 2 years. I strongly recommend this and here is why: sports headphones at prices like these break easily because they use cheap materials. If you really want good quality sports headphones you will be paying $50.00 and upwards for them. These might be worth it for avid runners, but for people like me who go to the gym and just want to run on the treadmill the Sony Mdr-AS35W headphones will do the job. The headphones are also pretty comfortable, and stay in the ear while running as well. Their are only 2 major problems with them, and one is opinion. For me, the bass is too much. It makes it sound a bit muddled down. But,some people love bass. This doesn't really pose a problem as I just use the treble booster on my Ipod. You have to be forgiving of the sound because they are only sports headphones. These are not Bose QC15's! You will get used to it in time. The other bigger issue is that the headphones are not that portable. They bend where the earpieces are but not at the top, creating a problem as they lose any purpose Sony might have had in putting the bends in. it comes with a case, however being realistic here nobody wants to use a big case. The older headphones I had before they broke (Mdr-A35G)had 2 bending points making them extremely portable. However, that design is also what caused them to snap in half. This is why Sony chose not to incorporate that design into these headphones. I have solved this problem by taking the 2 sides and criss-crossing them. Then I wrap the cord around them. One other thing you should know is that the cord is very short for people who use armbands, but comes with an extension cord. My advice is to tie a knot in the extension cord so that it isn't very long but long enough to reach your pocket. Nevertheless, these headphones are great for the money, and if you can forgive the bass and the not so extreme portability, these will be a winner.
Just purchased these and I will be returning them shortly. I'd had a set of Sony MDR-A30's for many years and I'd hoped these would be a suitable replacement. Sorry, no such luck. While I give Sony big points for the rubberized and sweat-resistant earpieces, the folding design, and the lightweight feel, the sound is horribly muddy and muddled. The Offspring, which normally are full of treble, sounded like they were being muffled. Definition of any song is terrible - it's hard to hear the difference between the different musical instruments within a song. When listening to DMB his guitar did not sound very different from the strings in his band. Drum beats were muffled thuds, not sharp cracks. As Sony claims these have definite bass in them but either by terrible speaker design or by accident the sound of the headphones is like it has a rubber glove over the speaker...which it kind of does. I at first thought the rubberized capsule the actual speaker elements were in was a great way to keep sweat and ear gunk out. But I'm willing to bet it's to blame for the bad sound. I know that if I try and listen to these while working out I'll be too distracted by the muffled sound of my favorite songs. So...very well-designed headphones, except for the most important part - the sound-producing elements. I would suggest avoiding these.
reviewer Norm the Perfectionist was exactly right, but i wanted to add another one-star review to pull the rating downwards.
1)terrible terrible redesign of this product makes it the first failure in sony's low cost, w-shaped over the head 'phones. previously, an awesome value for about 20 bucks. now, the new rubber "hood" over the earpiece (to keep it dry) muffles and muddles the sound. terrible, and unlistenable.
2)disgracefully, amazon has used the WRONG PHOTO in the product description. what were formerly hinges (and are hinges in the picture) are now bendy-rubber joints. and there is nothing bendy or hingy on the top, so they no longer fold into a W shape.
miserably unhappy customer. sent them back.
The model shown has a "W" formation. The one sent to me does not fold compact as in the picture.
I own the one shown in the picture and was disappointed to get a different model. I'm guessing maybe there was an upgrade to the product but the manufacture kept the same product numbering system . Both have similar Model number of MDR 35 but it is definitely different in the way it folds, the way it "stays folded", the cord size, the clip and the sound.
The sound is just okay but not great.
The short cord is more for upper pocket storage, unless you use the extender.
It comes with a nice unit for storage but it is troublesome for every day usage. I prefer the older "W" fold up style (Also noted by another user who thought they were ordering a replacement unit but received a different style). The older style can be compact enough to fold into an upper knit shirt pocket while the one sent to me cannot stay compact to fit in my shirt or pants pocket.
My order was placed last week and I received my product today. When I went back to the web page that was offering the product, there was a notice from Amazon saying that customers have indicated they are receiving different product than what is offered in the picture and Amazon is investigating the error. I am grateful that Amazon is very responsible and so are their resellers. I am sure it is just an honest mistake since the two models have almost identical numbers. I think in a few days or week, this situation would probably be corrected by Amazon and its reseller. - Headphones - Sport Headphones - Sport - Running'

Natural Skin Care - facial, facial cleanser
I love this product. I have super oily skin and very large pores. I have used countless other products (proactiv, clean and clear, neutrogena, ect) and they have been helpful. But I have always wanted to find something equally helpful that was not as chemically harsh. This completely fits the bill. My skin feels totally clean but not dried out after I wash and it stays feeling that way for at least as long as the other chemical based products if not longer. AFB has definitely won me over and I have already purchased more of their products. One warning. As others have mentioned it DOES NOT lather. If that is of importance then they have another cleanser that does. I haven't used it so I can't comment on its effectiveness. But if lather isn't a must you will probably love this cleanser! Super Detox - Deep Pore Facial Cleanser with Activated Charcoal - Organic - Vegan
I have been a fan of Angel Face's Kissed cleanser for some time, but when I became pregnant my normally calm skin totally freaked out and I needed serious help. I tried this cleanser and saw near immediate results. I am so pleased with how clear and even my complexion is despite the raging hormones of pregnancy. The cleanser is super light and has an awesome citrus smell. Thank you Angel Face!
I love this gentle cleanser. I have mostly oily skin, and use a glycolic cleanser once a week to control breakouts. But the glycolic is too strong to use everyday, so I use the Detox cleanser daily. I feel the Detox Cleanser really cleans my skin, but isn't harsh at all. My skin is soft and supple, and well balanced. I love the silky texture.
This is a lovely cleanser. Light and slightly runny, not highly foaming. I have normal to dry skin and Super Detox leaves my skin feeling fresh but not dry. I love the citrusy essential oils. The natural ingredients make it feel very high-end. Don't let the simple packaging fool you.
From the first time I used this product I've seen an improvement in my skin! Super Detox cleans so deeply removing all the urban grime trapped in my enlarged pores, leaving my face as soft as a baby's bottom! I LOVE IT!!!! - Facial Cleanser - Anti-aging - Facial - Detox'

Dance Workout - dance workout, leggings
I ordered the dance top in cream to wear when doing video ballet and stretching workouts. It's so cute, cozy and warm that I find myself wearing it even when I'm not working out. Two things that should be noted on this KD Dance top. First, the sizing runs somewhat small. I ordered a small (I'm 5'4", 105 lbs, AA cup) and the top is snug on me. If you want a looser fit, go up a size. Secondly, the top is folded up in such a way that you would swear it was a pair of leggings and not a top at all when you first open the package. I contacted customer service and informed them that the wrong item was shipped. I promptly received a response from a very pleasant, personable KD Dance rep, who told me that he would be happy to arrange an exchange for the correct item but to first double check the "leggings" and see if there wasn't a neckhole between what appeared to be the legs. It turned out to be the top and this is apparently a pretty common mistake. Overall, I quite like the top and plan to get another soon in a different color. Charcoal Sexy Sweater Ballet Neck Top by KD dance, Fashionable Pro Classic Knit Dancewear, Conservative To Burlesque Cocktail Top, Soft, Warm & Alluring, Made In New York USA Medium
I love this sweater. I bought it in pink and it is so soft and pretty. One reviewer said it seemed to be knit by angels, which sounds funny but when you get it you will know what she means! To be honest I thought the price was a little steep but it seems hand knit and delicate and worth the money. I wear a medium to large usually but based on KD dancewear sizing, I am an XL. I was skeptical at first thinking it might be too big but it was just right and not loose. If you are an XL normally, an XL would not even fit. This sweater runs small but has very long arms. I have long arms and have to push the wrists up a good amnt. But the sweater is sexy and chic. The pink is a bit sheer but I wore a black spahetti strap tank top underneath and it was really cute. I don't know if the sizing is listed here (it seems to be based mainly on your weight) but if you go to KD Dancewear's website, you can find the sizing. I ordered it off amazon because it was a few dollars cheaper here than on their website. Also, the girl in the picture has the bottom of the sweater all scrunched up to show off her abs. In reality, it doesn't fall like that. Lays like a regular sweater. But it is off the shoulders. Definitely feels like a dancer's sweater. Love it!
O.k., so this top is so lightweight yet snuggly warm, that it feels like it *must* have been knit by angels. If I ever get a chance to visit the KD factory, I will report back on that theory...Seriously, though, it has been cold here in Southeast Louisiana - much colder than usual - and our buildings are not insulated for this weather. I get so *tired* of wearing so many layers all day and feeling like one of those kids whose mom bundles her up before going out to play in the snow (thermal underwear? check! two pairs wool socks? check! flannel shirt? check! wool sweater? check! courderoys? check! extra puffy snowsuit, scarf, hat, and gloves? check!....ughhhhh....). SO, I was thrilled when I recently got this ballet top, because I can pair it with a lightweight scarf, be warm and comfy all day, and *still* feel sexy and chic. It feels like a small victory for this chica! The delicious, rich charcoal color and the sophisticated neckline make this garment as fit for a night on the town as it is for a session on the yoga mat or in the dance studio. The way this fabric moves with you without clinging, and provides warmth while still being breathable, really distinguishes it. And if you wear it to bed after wearing it out on the town, then you can be the most fashion-forward lady in all of dream land! C'mon gals, what are you waiting for?!
This sexy sweater is absolutely a must have and essential to any girl's wardrobe. This one is a more relaxed fit, just like the picture. This fits like a more comfortable, non-stretch and looser sweater. There's a cute detail on the wrist area and it's a nice touch to the simplicity of the sweater.
I give it 100 stars for warmth and comfort. I was shivering at work where they had the AC blasting. I tried this sweater over my shirt as soon as I got it in the mail. I felt warm and toasty immediately, even though its a loosely knit, sheer sweater. I was in KD Dance heaven. Maybe it was also because I was dancing around in excitement when I got my package!
The model is wearing it off shoulder, but I would prefer to wear it on my shoulder because its a more loose fit. It is quite versatile. I love how the model is also wearing it with the bottom tied up to show her fab abs and sexy belly button rings. You can also wear it untied on the bottom and that falls somewhere a few inches below your belly button. This sweater is a loosely-knit sweater so its on the see-through side. I would wear this over a spaghetti strap top with skinny jeans or over a tank dress. Dress it up or down with statement jewelry or stand out with a cute scarf and fedora for an ultimate chic look! All in all, this sweater is a little chameleon to suit all your different looks. Thanks for the awesome products and service. Keep up the GREAT work, KD DANCE!!!
This sweater is extremely well-crafted. It fits and feels like a second skin, keeps your body at a constant, comfortable temperature without restricting your movement. I will be ordering several more colors. Thank you for such an excellent product, K&D! - Dance - Dance Workout - Yoga Tart - Leggings'

Rechargeable Batteries
the original batteries evidently had been on the shelf too long, and didn't last as long as i thought they should have. anyway these new batteries have been very nice to work with, they even seem to have more power than the old ones did. the shipping took a little longer than we thought but we were in no hurry. thank you very much for a fine product.d.r.t. Black & Decker VP143 Versapak Gold Twin Pack
I debated for a long time on purchasing these batteries due to the dissapointment with the original silver batteries. I finally broke down since I have 5 tools that use these. Having used these already I am definitely impressed & I am glad that I purchased them. I am now able to put these 5 tools to use & be happy with the battery life.
As others have also said, these new versa pak batteries really have the power. My hand vacuum is like new. Glad I didn't take it to the thrift shop. Since these new batteries are LiON (?) they should last longer than the old NiCad ones. That will be nice.
The price of these batteries including shipping is very hard to beat. I bid on 3 auction on ebay and lost all 3 as I limited my maxiumu bid to equal a few dollars less than the cost here at Amazon. Finally I gave up and just ordered them here. I could have saved my self the time and effort to begin with but I'm always gooding for a deal.
Do they have "Deals Anonymus"; I think I need to join their support group. You know like AA.
Quality - no question, they are OEM Black & Decker so the product is original and the same no matter who you buy from. The only differnce is price; that 5 letter word that drives us to buy.'

Digital Slr - kingston, cf card
I'm a pro photographer.
This product came quickly, as is always needed for me. With my 40D this product processes images as quickly as I need to cover weddings and sporting events.
With this card on Raw I can get at least 750 images.
When shooting in "large" format choice, I can get at least 1500.
Since the sensor shows 999 remaining and I download after each shoot, it may be able to hold a greater amount.
For anyone shooting photos with a camera less than 10Megs, the number of files on this card for you would be tremendous, and more than you need.
Keeping too many of your prized family photos on a card and not downloading is not such a good idea....
Sturdy product. Would certainly recommend. Kingston Elite Pro 8 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card CF/8GB-S2
This is my second kingston compactflash card (another one is 4gb cf). Kingston never lets me down. It works great! Speed is very fast! There are faster CF cards available on the market, but if you want to use the cf cards on digital cameras, you don't really need faster (than 133x kingston) cards. NO camera can take advantage of the faster cards yet. Anyway, this is perfect for digital camera (Dslr).
[ UPDATE: Make sure you format the card in the camera. After doing so, this card is working much better. The following was written when using the mem card straight out of the package (it was pre-formatted). ]
I bought 2 of these a few days ago, before reading the reviews here. After reading the reviews, I decided to see how it compared to my previous 2Gb Kingston 50x card.
Using my Canon Rebel XT camera, with picture setting on Large/Fine (8 megapixel photos) and in burst mode I was able to take 13 consecutive photos with this new card, and the camera completed writing to the flash card about 43 seconds after first pressing the shutter button. So yes, it will work fine for everyday shooting.
I then tried the older 50x card which I probably bought sometime around 2005. With it, I was able to take 16 consecutive photos (before it started lagging), and it completed writing all those to flash after 14 seconds. (I did both measurements 3 different times, and they all turned out pretty close)
So to make a comparison - for the 13 picts in 43 seconds, would be equivalent to 16 in 53 seconds. So the 50x card will write 16 photos in 14 seconds, the new 133x card will write 16 photos in 53 seconds.
Therefore the new card is about 4 times SLOWER than the older 50x card. Maybe someone at Kingston made a mistake and these were really 13.3x, not 133x??
The only plus to this card is its low cost and large storage size.
UPDATE: After formatting the 133x card in the camera, it is now performing comparable to the 50x card. Which that could indicate its a limitation with the camera memory interface at this point. I would up the star rating, but seems that I can't do it after the review was initially written.
I got 2 of these cards because I needed a decent amount of storage for my Canon 50D. I shoot in RAW 100% of the time, and each file is around 16mb. This card seems great and I haven't had a single problem with it, not being able to keep up with the camera at 6.3 frames per second. I think if you're continuously using the high burst at 6.3fps, then you'll hit the end of the buffer and it will take a few seconds to clear, but I have never reached it. I was contemplating getting the San Disk Extreme III 8gb version, on top of these two, because I need a lot of storage space, and I'm going to be shooting a wedding soon, and wanted a faster card for the ceremony, but I think I'm going to just pick up another 2 of these. The price is way too good compared to the Sandisk Extreme III, and it keeps up with all my shooting. I've never used a Sandisk Extreme III before, but I really don't think it's needed unless you're using the high burst mode continuously. I highly recommend this card. I've been very pleased.
Card works great in my Sony A200k camera. Was concerned about write performance, but it has not been an issue. Camera has beeen very fast. Flash card does not appear to be a bottleneck at all. Good deal on this CF card for 8GB. Better bargain than SAN Disk.
This card is okay when you're not seriously taking pictures. It's with the 133x way too slow for any SLR camera. Better spend the extra $ and get a faster (300x or more) CF card. Taking RAW pictures with this card is horrible - 2 pictures and then you have to wait for about 15 seconds to take the third one. JPG is okay, but even for that my other 300x CF card is amazingly faster with accessing pictures and storing them.
Ordered 4 cards of this batch of Kingston cards from Amazon. Had originally purchased 4 of these a couple years back from another vendor.
The latest batch I purchased were all failures. I format all the cards in camera, and after about 1/4 of the way through, the card will cause my camera to freeze on read - only resettable with a battery reset.
Too many corrupted sectors on this batch of cards, and I just can't trust it.
If it matters: The good 8GB Kingston CF cards I own (with this green label) have a rounded rectangle around the comment lines on the back. The label is (C)2003. The bad batch of cards I have use the (C)2008 label. I can't deduce a trend based on serial#/batch#.
Good luck on your purchase. I won't be buying these particular ones again.
Sometimes they work great then other times not so well. I have used this card in both Canon and Nikon SLR's and both times they would work just fine for a bit then the cameras would start having problems reading the files. And yes I reformat every time so that was not it. I use Lexar and never had this problem nore have I with San Disk just these Kingstones for some reason. Once is enough for me Ill stick with Lexar Pro cards from now on. Stay away from these if you value your photos. - Cf Card - 8gb - Kingston - Photography'

Optical Cable - optical cable, amazonbasics
If it doesn't snap you probably forgot to take the little rubber protectors off the end of the cable... like I did for about a minute. Once removed it snaps in perfectly.
The cable is high quality, long, and very flexible and has nicely constructed connectors. And it is about 1/4 the cost of radio sxxxx and bsst buy, both being rip-off artists on items like cables.
Its things like this that will make me a prime return customer. Who can't wait 2 days to save big bucks?? AmazonBasics Toslink Digital Audio Optical Cable (6 Feet/1.8 Meters)
My goal in life is to never buy overpriced cables. I figure that it is a cable and how could it break. After all it just sits there collecting dust. It's a digital signal going through glass/plastic fiber, there will be no difference compared to the $450 dollar AudioQuest class 5 optical cable - TosLink plugs 1m (3.28'). If you bought this $450 cable, I cry for you.
The cable is your basic black color and it looks as nice as a cable can look. The cable is flexible and bendy just like a cable should be. It is long. The connection fits snugly from my Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K 7-Channel A/V Receiver (Black) to my ancient Philips DirecTV DVR With 40GB TIVO.
It comes in a nice cardboard box that is so simple to open. You can then toss the packaging into your recycle bin for recycling.
1. Open the box.
2. Remove the cable
3. Remove the twistie tie (counter-clockwise rotation is critical for success)
4. REMOVE THE PLASTIC NIBS covering the connectors
5. Plug one end into your TV optical port and the other end into the electronic device of your choice
6. Enjoy the show
These AmazonBasics cables are the cat's ass. I wish they came in shorter lengths (cable neat freak), but the price can't be beat. You won't be disappointed.
A really well made cable. If you are new to this Toslink cabling you may not notice that AmazonBasics Toslink cables come with a near transparent protective silicon cover over the tiny optical connector. Look closely as they are there, and obviously removing this BEFORE installing the cable will be the difference between a trouble free installation and ten minutes of fiddling with connections and scratching your head trying to figure out why your optical connection is not operating.
I had ordered two of these cables to hook up from my computer chassis to my Denon AV Receiver and another for the connection from the Denon AV Receiver to the TV. Being the first time that I had ever used Toslink Digital Audio cables I thought that you just plug them into the outlet and it would work automatically.
I didnt know that the cables contained a clear plastic cap to protect the tip of the cable on each end so the cable kept popping out of the slot when I tried to plug it in with the protective plastic cap on it. I was going crazy so I went online to read reviews on other optical cables, watch installation videos on youtube, and forums to see if other users have been having the same issues but none of the videos tell you to remove the clear plastic protective cap so I thought that the cap was part of the cable. Luckily some other amazon members read my review and told me to remove the clear plastic cap, the cables have been working fine ever since. Amazon has an awesome community, thanks for the help guys.
I would highly recommend this cable to anyone who needs a toslink digital audio cable.
Since I upgraded to a new tv and surround sound I wanted the best connections.
The digital audio is perfect.
Helpful hint, the little rubber things on the tips have to be removed first LOL.
I tried jamming the thing into the Blu Ray player and it just kept popping back out.
Mr. Tech Man I am not.
As soon as I took those off it snapped right in.
Cheap.
Effective.
A must have for HDTV owners.
This product works. It works the same as my expensive big name Optical cable that cost 10 times more. I cannot hear a difference. I imagine 99 percent of the population won't either. So save your money.
I too thought the cable was too loose, but when I re-read the comments, I re-checked the cable ends, and sure enough, there is a little, soft plastic cap on the male pin at each end of the cable. Carefully remove the cap by softly pulling with your fingernails, and Bingo! the cap comes off, the cable snaps in just as it should! PLEASE, all of you who have had looseness probs with this cable, check the ends carefully...the cap is hard to notice, but it blurs the light(strangely enough the cable still worked fine, even with the caps on), if you feel the little soft cap, you've found the problem; just gently pull it off, put the cap in your recycle bin, plug your now functioning cable into the devices and enjoy! It was only after I re-read the comments/reviews that I closely checked my cable, and sure enough, Amazon's quality prevailed and I was wrong wrong wrong! Def recommend this product. I'm no expert, perhaps gold plated or sapphire laser might be better, but this do-dad works just fine for me! - Digital Audio - Amazonbasics - Optical Cable - Toslink'

Micro Sdhc - 8gb, micro sd card
I specifically ordered this memory card for my Blackberry Curve 8330 with two goals in mind.
1: Store videos and music on my phone
2: Expanded memory for applications and documents
On both counts I have not been let down! This card is wicked fast when it comes to file transfers via the Blackberry software. I had expected, indeed planned, for a bit of a "hit" when using the RIM software to expedite file transfers (play lists, music, and videos) but if there is one I am not seeing it.
The included adapter is a handy add on bonus as I do have quite a few microSD cards lying around and can now use those for other devices that accept SD cards.
Oh, and it IS a Class 6 card. Transcend 8 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card TS8GUSDHC6
I purchased this 8GB - Class 6, upgrading from an 8GB - Class 4, because I needed the faster read/write speeds on my cell phone.
After installing it, I immediately noticed a faster response in the data transfer speeds. My ringtones, music, and pictures loaded faster, even when receiving a call.
I recommend upgrading to the Class 6 to anyone wanting/needing fast transfer rates.
The data transfer rates of SD Cards are:
(Read Speed of a Standard CD-ROM = 150 kb/s)
Class 2 - (Equivalent to ~13x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 2 MB/s
Class 4 - (Equivalent to ~26x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 4 MB/s
Class 6 - (Equivalent to ~40x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 6 MB/s
So, as you can see, the Class 6 is approximately 50% faster than a Class 4.
My overall view of the Transcend MicroSD card is that the product itself is good; however, the adapter that comes with it is not HC compatible. I have contacted Transcend directly about this shortfall and they are replacing the adapters as we speak. I do not blame the vendor that sold the card as the package was sealed and it was not a pirated version of the product. There are many different products available through the Amazon website that are also not HC compatible but sold with high capacity markings. If I were to purchase more cards from Amazon.com I would ensure the vendor tested the functionality with HC cards before I ordered them or allowed them to be shipped to me. I suggest dealing direct wth the manufacturer for these VERY FAST MicroSD Cards as they are now available directly on their website.
I own 6 micro SDHC cards which I use to store a variety of images and files for access on a number of devices. I have 4 Transcend Micro SDHC 16gb cards which are clearly the fastest (data transfer, class 6) and most reliable cards that I have used.
I purchased this 8GB microSDHC Transcend card to replace my 4GB Sandisk microSDHC card. This card works exactly as expected. It's hard for me to comment on the speed of it, class 6. It definitely is class 6 so there shouldn't be any hesitation in purchasing due to a lack of confidence. I don't often transfer data on and off the card so I really didn't notice any speed benefits. Again, the speed benefits may exist but I haven't noticed it. I always thought that Sandisk was the best most reliable brand, but that may not be true. I've had issues with Sandisk cards but this Transcend has worked perfectly.
I had been looking for a cheap way to expand the memory on my G1 phone and I wanted the fastest micro SD card around and here it is - a Transcend 8g class 6 card. The 8gigs is plenty of room to hold my stuff and the price is at the inflection point on cost per gig for me (ie the 16g is too expensive for the speed and the 4gig isn't enough space).
I've been using this as my portable music player now for several weeks and all I can say is there hasn't been a hiccup. In fact, I think the card has also improved the speed of the camera (which is to say the camera is still horribly slow - but maybe just a tad less so on the writes). Additionally, I use the phone, mounted as a USB drive, to move files to and from work. In this, I've noticed that the transfers are much more snappy - always a good thing.
For 20$, this is a great way to expand the storage space on your G1, or on any phone, that sports a micro SD card - 8gb - Microsdhc - Micro Sd Card - 8 Gb Micro Sdhc Memory Card'

Epson 69 Ink Cartridge - epson 69 ink cartridge, inkjet printer
Do yourself a favor, and buy any brand but Epson. The ink seems to dry up in the cartridges in a matter of a few weeks, and on the NX400 you can't print if *any* cartridge is empty, so you have to open a new one even if you don't need that color for the job you're printing. It's an obvious ploy to sell more ink.
Personally, I'll never buy another Epson printer because of the high cost of ink. Epson 69 Series DURABrite Ultra Color Ink Cartridges - Multipack (T069520) in Retail Packaging
DON'T BUY FROM THIS SELLER...Seller listed items with photos and text Epson Originals refurbished, using UltraBrite inks. Contacted seller why order is 1-week late shipping, when already emailed Tracking Number, said order canceled because I gave him 1-star rating for last order, 25-percent ink full and only makes lines. Poorest Quality product I have ever used. So this means, if you don't give sellers 5-star ratings, you can't buy from them anymore? I reported him to Epson USA which said he cannot legally use their images, text and specifications - selling Generics. Also reported to Amazon POOR business Code of Ethics. I think Epson USA will be contacting seller and Amazon about falsely soliciting business....
I did not know that epson offered a color multipack in the high capacity cartridges (68 instead of 69), which will hopefully increase the time between changes. Plus, it was a better price than regular cartridges. No problems to report yet after one month.
Epson stylus ink replacement is good but quickly runs out; don't understand why printer has to use color ink to print out black and white documents, therefore, making the colored inks run out faster. I think it's a gadget by Epson to make people buy their ink cartridges.
The product was delivered on time and in great condition. I replaced my existing cartridges and straight away i was getting better printing quality. I wish there was the 68 Series (Hi-Capacity) catridges available which would last twice the number of papers as the 69 series.
Epson makes excellent ink and printers. I use this ink for my Epson Workforce 600 and do daily color printing although not a ton of photos. I am thrilled with the life of the ink cartridges, I rarely have to change them. I especially appreciate how quickly Epson ink dries and has no trouble with highlighters. The colors look as bright as ever and never smear or bleed.
When I changed my ink cartridge in my Epson printer says it is not compatible and now my printer does not work because it thinks there is no ink in it. I have had this printer for about 2 years and all of the other ink cartriges I've purchased for it have worked except these. Now I have to by more ink cartriges because the set I bought from this seller don't work. Complete waste of money!
I recently purchased a set of black and color cartridges from Tech Copy through Amazon for My EPSON Workforce 310 printer. I received a defective cyan cartridge and Tech Copy sent me a replacement quickly. Now I am using the printer with no problem at all. I would give the product a five star rating and appreciated very much the quick resolution from Tech Copy.

It is clear that the printers are just a hook. The money you have to invest in cartridges, specially with this one, is a total rip-off.
Printing quality is ok, but it is too expensive when you consider the cost ot ink. Think again if this is the kind of printer for you.
I've been using epson printers for over 15 years and I've come to rely on their printers and scanners. Buying original is always best but I do admit I sometimes buy the imitation ones and alternate it with the original. If I use mostly replacement inks, they are prone to print head blockages. - Inkjet Printer - Ink Cartridge - Epson 69 Ink Cartridge - Printer Cartridge'

Subwoofer Cable
I just recently bought a sub-woofer and I spent a good deal of time searching for an interconnect. The interconnects I looked at ranged from ridiculously over-priced to questionably cheap. I knew I wanted it to be THX certified and of a length that would allow me some freedom of sub-woofer placement. This interconnect provided both at a very reasonable price. I must say after installing my subwoofer that this cable was a perfect choice.
Some might say that the cost reflects a cables ability to provide good sound. Wrong. This is just as good as those 70 dollar interconnects. I do buy monster cable for most of my home theatre needs, but I do not buy into some of the hype surrounding Monster cable and their more expensive cables.
Why only 4 and not 5 stars. I did not like the way the cable was packaged. The cable was folded down the middle and now the center of the cable has a crook in it. I would have perfered it to be wound around a plastic spool to avoid folding of the cable.
Getting past that, its a good interconnect that produces great sound. Monster THXI100-SW25NF THX Certified Subwoofer Cable (25 feet)
Just incase anyone is wondering what the difference is between this Monster THX subwoofer cable that is 16 feet and the other one on Amazon that is 16 feet as well, one has retail packaging and the other does not.
I actually bought both of them to see what the difference is and the "NF" in the product code actually means "No Frills." The I100SWNF comes in a simple ziplock bag and the other comes in the typical monster retail plastic. Also, there was no plastic spool on mine as others have mentioned. It was just thrown in the bag. I ended up returning this one and getting the retail packaging with the other.
I worked for 4 different national electronics retailers, and I can honestly say that Monster cables are overpriced. 90% overpriced. Every year, they (monster) would have a contest where we could get all the Monster Products we could buy at 90% off, if we sold X amount of product. At 90% off, Monster still made money.
For example, I purchased the top of the line Z series, and the picture quality WAS THE SAME AS THE PACK IN CABLES. No difference whatsoever.
Only place where cables made a difference was with audio. Speaker cables definitely sound better when bigger.
Oh, and the THX label means nothing, except more money for Monster. It's the SAME cable as the non-THX label. I've seen both cut in 1/2. They are identical.
I don't know if Monster Cable cables actually sound any better, but they sure as hell look much cooler than most of the other brands. So really if you think about it, it doesn't make much sense, but to some of you out there who realize that it really only costs a few dollars more than crappy cables from Best Buy compared to the savings (in particular the NF packaging) you pay on Amazon, not only can you have something that is at least = to or >, it will most certainly look better.
That alone looks to be all my brain needed to hear in order to know that my sound sounds much better. My brain says that because it looks good, it obviously must sound good.
First thing, I like Monster Cables they are excellent quality and usually look great but for the most part they are over priced. But at a decent price I will purchase Monster cables over no name brand or lesser known brands every time. I purchased this cable for around $20.00, the cheapest cable I have seen that is also 25ft. is $12.00 and it looked cheap like an extension cord from the dollar store and the inputs also looked and felt very cheap.
This cable on the other hand looks great, very sturdy and the ends fit really tight. I have a THX (cert) subwoofer and THX (cert) receiver so this THX cable was the perfect match. I know you can't see the cables and probably I wouldn't be able to hear the difference but when the price difference is not that much I will go with a good quality, good looking cable every time. I'm into hifi audio and like to place attention to details and have the back of the audio system look as great as the front of the system.
Pros: Good Quality Wire
Tight fitting ends
Durable ends
THX certification
Looks great
Cons: A couple of bucks more than a cheaper brand
Bottom line: I don't recommend all Monster cables because they are so over priced especially their HDMI cables for $100 is crazy but this cable with good quality 25ft. and for around $20 is a good price, you won't be disappointed.
These THX cables are everything you could/would expect from a high quality sub cable. Good stuff.
EDIT: I forgot to mention...the most thorough review here mentions the only downside being the way this cable is packed. I was distinctly worried about this when I put my order in. However, when the package came, I noticed the cable was, in fact, wrapped around a plastic spool, without any kinks or bends. Either the reviewer was mistaken, or Monster changed its packaging since he posted. Either way, my original review/rating remains...quality cable with ample length and a great price.'

Snore Reducing Aids - snoring, anti snore device
OMG! It works!
Before wearing this mouthpiece, I would snore rather loud (according to my wife). It did not matter if I was on my stomach, back, or side. I had spent several hundred dollars for a sleep study and to buy a CPAP machine, since I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. The CPAP maching stopped my snoring and helped with my sleep apnea. However, I would swallow air while using the CPAP and wake up with severe abdominal pain. The people at the sleep center refused to turn down the pressure in an attempt to fix this. After over a month of not being able to get a decent night's sleep, I decided to quit using the CPAP. However, I needed to find a solution.
I was skeptical that a mouthpiece would work, so I spoke with my dental hygenist if a mouthpiece could really help stop snoring and help with sleep apnea (my dentist was out of the office). She told me that I could spend nearly $1,000 on a custom fit mouthpiece designed to reduce snoring, but she did not know if it would help with sleep apnea. She admitted that insurance rarely covers such a device, and an over-the-counter device may produce the same result. I was concerned that an over-the-counter mouthpiece may damage my teeth or jaw alignment. She assured me that it would not be harmful, but I might experience some discomfort and jaw pain. She also told me that these types of devices usually work.
I bought the mouthpiece online. When it arrived, it looked rather small. I was still skeptical that it would fit or work. I went ahead and boiled the water and performed the fit per the instructions. Part of the mouthpiece did become somewhat malformed, so I had to re-fit it a second time.
During the first night of wearing the mouthpiece, I immediately noticed that I could breath more easily, and my snoring was eliminated. Since then, however, on some nights, my mouth opens wide enough so that my lower jaw falls out of the mouthpiece. When this happens, I start snoring so that I am rudely awakened by my wife. I am contemplating using a chin strap to prevent this in the future.
I have noticed that my jaw is sometimes a little sore in the morning. The soreness goes away shortly after I have been up and about, so it is just a minor annoyance. Overall, this mouthpiece has been absolutely fabulous.
I would really like to have another sleep study performed with the mouthpiece to see if it is effective for sleep apnea. If anyone reading this has had a sleep study performed using this or a similar mouthpiece, please comment to let us know if this is effective against sleep apnea. My breathing seems to be better, but it would be nice to at least have some medical evidence to back it up.
Received it quickly from Amazon. I was skeptical whether it will work or not, it does work. Here is what I did, a) I boiled the water b) Let it cool for couple of seconds c)Use the wooden stick to put the device in the water for few seconds d) Put the device in the mouth with lower and upper jaw aligned e) Blow air out, push device with your tongue and push in with your hands f) Bite the device but do not bite through the device.
Maybe I have a small mouth, but after I shaped it exactly the way they said i should it was still too big. I'd lay there at night thinking that I was going to stop breathing because it was so large that it would cut off my airway. The concept is good, but execution was poor.
I figured six bucks wasn't a big price to pay for something that might allow me to take a break from my CPAP machine. I knew that if it didn't work, I would be disappointed, but not financially destitute.
As it turns out, I've been using this thing for the last three nights and it seems to be working as a great alternative to my CPAP machine. I may invest in a chin strap as the mouth piece does sometimes become dislodged in my sleep, but the fitting was pretty easy (with instructions in broken English provided for extra hilarity).
If you've wondered if this kind of treatment might work for you, I recommend this (the cheapest mouth piece of its kind that I'd found) before spending big money on similar implements. If it does work, you may find a professionally fit upgrade to be completely worth it. But this is a good place to test the waters, so to speak.
It's too lose around my lower jaw. Upon re-heating I believe it is softer and won't hold the teeth together. Fortunately I didn't waste a lot of money on it. But it's really hard to get the right mold. If you can, I really see how this helps so many. I wish I could get it to work. My snoring is annoying.
I bought two of these, thinking they were different products as there was such a big disparity in price. They are EXACTLY the same and even when you soften them up, they are still like a big rock in your mouth and hard on my teeth. Too difficult to use, so one sits unopened and one is just sitting. I know there is a 30 day money back guarantee, but I started a new job and didnt have the time to work on it, so ....ayone want to buy the one still in plastic? lol...... - Snoring - Stop Snoring - Anti Snore Device - Snore Stopper'

Unscented Lotion - animal friendly, alba
I'm a fan of Alba products and think their lotion is great. It goes on smooth and is easily absorbed into the skin with no sticky, oily residue. A note on shipping: the packaging consisted of a piece of tape placed on the cap. In the process of shipping the cap came loose and lotion got on my other items. It was quickly cleaned up, but you might want to keep that in mind when placing an order. Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion, Unscented, 32-Ounce Bottle
I wanted a lotion that would leave less weird chemicals on my skin. I tried some in my local health food store, and I LOVE this lotion. It goes on nice and thick, but it's not greasy AT ALL and it absorbs quickly. The only thing that bugs me is the smell. It's unscented, so it doesn't have a fragrance, but it does have an odor. I am SUPER sensitive to smells, so I just mixed it with a little bit of another organic scented lotion and it's all good now.
I've read other reviews about this product and about it smelling funny. The first bottle I purchased was fine. The second, smells a little funny. However, since it's unscented, maybe it's just the normal weird, non-smell. Either way, it's a great product without harsh chemicals to irritate your skin. And it's a necessity during a northern winter.
Also, the packaging for this one was less than desired. The pump top was taped, with scotch tape, and not effectively. The top was loose and lotion was all over the place inside the box in which it was packaged. Luckily, the other product in the box was sealed so not damaged, but could have been upsetting if it was a gift! The loosening of the top could have been prevented with better packaging but to be fair, the package arrived on a 10 degree day, so it's also possible that any extreme temperature transitions could have created some expansion and contraction that could cause lotion seepage.
Either way, I still love this lotion! It's my go-to!
This Very emollient lotion is actually a different newer batch dated 2007 witch has a different mixture and new ingredients. It caused a bad red very sunburn like reaction in me. I have used this same lotion for years with no problems. Too bad I really did like the prior mix.
Lots of reports from others just like mine on the internet. Returned my order.
I read the reviews and decided that alba's lotion would be a great choice for my skin. I also purchased their body wash.
This lotion makes me itch!! I've never had problems with any other lotion before. It's quite strange. I think I'm stuck with a 32 oz bottle of lotion for a while.
This is my favorite lotion! Love the new more organic formula although I notice it is a lot thicker & I need to use more product because it soaks into my dry skin rather quickly. I believe the old formula contained dimethicone & it no longer does which is probably the difference in consistency & why its thicker. But I am happier that it is now I believe entirely organic!
I ordered this item by accident, meaning to buy the Maximum Dry Skin Formula. I was disappointed when I realized my mistake, but thought I would try to make it work, anyway. However, as soon as I put the lotion on my skin, I noticed that it had a strange chemical smell to it. I just placed an order for the correct lotion, which I love, and this stuff is going back. - Alba - Unscented Lotion - Animal Friendly - Lotions'

Wedding Gift - nix, digital photo frame
Amazon's introductory prices for these NIX digital frames were enough in themselves to catch my attention. I started with the 7" model and, though my expectations were not high, sensed that the combination of the extra wide dimensions (necessitating constant repositioning of the frame) and lackluster resolution would result in my finding little if any use for the frame. NIX customer support was so helpful that I decided to stay with the brand but to move up to this 8" model. It's all the difference in the world and well worth the extra expense. First, the 4:3 dimensions of this frame assure that you can load it, start it, and forget it. No need to turn the frame on its long end to fill the frame for every vertically-oriented image. Even with auto rotation and split screen features, the extra wide (16:9) screens, or aspect ratios, of the lower-priced NIX and some of the other "stretched" frames introduce problems because of the different orientations of shots and the cropped or distorted shapes that frequently ensue upon tweaking an image to fill a frame. But there's more . . .
The picture of the 8" model, I'm convinced, has sharper definition and brighter, more pleasing colors--very close, if not equal, to a high-definition computer screen. Additionally, the slide show and transitions are performing more consistently, with the photos even showing more regularly in their correct--horizontal or vertical--orientation. And the size of the frame is such that a vertical photo, even though appearing in a frame that's slightly wider than it is high, does not look disproportionate. In fact, with this frame it's highly unlikely you'll turn the frame vertically to activate its "automatic orientation" feature. Finally, unlike the XO7B, which comes with a quick set-up sheet, the XO8A comes with a more informative and complete little booklet, including a trouble-shooting section (the instructions are perhaps less clear than those with the 7" model, but the frame is practically "plug and play," not requiring close examination of the manual. (If you do any tweaking, I'd recommend trying the automatic "crop" feature. It may reduce some of the area of your photos, but it won't distort or diminish size, consequently making it all the easier to keep the frame in a single, fixed position. I'm so satisfied with what this frame does for the photos taken with my Canon Elf (SD-780), I haven't even bothered to try out the video and music features. Frankly, they're not the reason I was in the market for a digital frame.
For either frame, it would undoubtedly be a good idea for many purchasers to order an inexpensive 2 GB flash card at the same time and to "dedicate" it exclusively for use in the frame (try to avoid the apparent "bundled" deal, which could cost you extra in postage. Instead, enter the item in "search" and order it from Amazon Prime, which offers a nice Kingston card for about five dollars). Finally, before calling or writing the company about a missing back-rest for this frame, notice that, unlike the 7" model (which employs a separate, detachable plastic piece), this 8" model has a handier, embedded telescoping silver rod. Simply use your thumbnail to pull it out of the back of the frame and you'll find it plenty sturdy for this lightweight frame.
Just a couple of caveats: First, the generally well-equipped audiophile is unlikely to make much use (if any) of the built in speakers and MP3 player. Second, the cost to the company of these added, perhaps mostly unused, features is likely reflected in the price. In that case, better the extra features were eliminated altogether or their expense devoted to the one feature that every user would certainly find most useful of all--a rechargeable battery, enabling cordless operation. These frames are currently undergoing rapid changes on the part of all manufacturers, so expect to see more cordless models, more onboard memory with convenient computer interfacing, and lower prices in the near future. But as anyone who has acquired any consumer technology in the last ten years knows all too well, such obsolescence goes with the territory (no longer is it a wise idea to spend a thousand or more on a TV set--these are not appreciating assets--in fact, quite the contrary).
RE: NIX Customer Support: I sent an e-mail with questions related to this model as well as a couple of others. The response was swift, extremely detailed, entirely personal (not an automated response), and very informative and helpful. (By contrast, Logitech offered to replace an entire keyboard with a bad key providing I e-mailed proof of purchase. I was extremely impressed and pleased, since I had hoped for, at most, a single replacement key. However, despite my 3 attempts to mail them my Amazon invoice--everything from a Jpeg to PDF to screen shot--I received the automatic response: "Your requested evidence of purchase is inadequate. Use a different format." If that's a company's version of "customer service," I'd rather receive service from another company, or no service at all, rather that repeatedly feel like someone is jerking my chain.)] NIX N' EASY X08B - 8 Inch Hi Resolution SVGA Digital Photo Frame - Photo, Video, Music, Splitscreen Option, Slim Design - Digital Photo Frame - Digital Picture Frame - Accessories - Nix'

Ipod Killer
First off, I wanted to publish "price paid" in this review since 3rd party sellers are selling the case for upwards of $65. Be wary if Amazon has run out of this and is selling it via a 3rd party. I paid $17.75 for the case via Amazon direct.
I have a Zune 120. (The form factor for the Zune 80/120 is identical.) This thing slid on my zune like a comfortable old pair of long john underwear. It has an attractive, "ridged" look to it as you can see from the pictures. It really does make your zune look more rugged.
The intent of this case is to help prevent scratches, scrapes of the zune when dropped. and to hopefully help prevent more serious problems like platter damage since these zunes use actual hard drives (with moving parts!)
The screen protector, as stated in many other reviews, is garbage. You can try to follow the tips on here for getting it on right; but I suggest you save yourself some headache and put it directly in the garbage can. It really should not be included with this product since it does tarnish the reviews a bit. Don't be concerned, however, since the Dragon toughskin case surrounds the actual screen with a slightly raised "edge." Therefore if you drop it, as I did getting out of my truck at the gym, the screen is going to be more or less protected by this raised edge. This of course, wouldn't apply in a drop where the screen hits directly on an uneven surface like the corner of something, a rock on the ground, etc.
Since I only use my Zune at the gym, it's not a huge concern. I just wanted a little more protection when working out. I keep my zune in my pants pocket by itself (no keys, coins, etc.) and face the screen toward my leg. I have not had any issues whatsoever with the screen scratching or blemishing. The only problem is getting my paw prints all over the screen after a few uses.
As other reviewers have stated, this rubber does seem to attract dust, pocket lint, etc. I have tried several methods of cleaning it and have found the best way. A can of compressed air is not a bad idea to remove a lot of the debris. But even better, is just a small piece of scotch tape or packing tape. This lets you get in all the grooves, ridges, to remove all the lint etc from the dragonskin case. I do this once every couple weeks and it takes maybe 2 minutes. (Same principle as the lint rollers for sweaters, etc.) It definitely makes the case look new again, restoring it to its original black condition. It works great.
Just thought I would note also that if you are one of the smart ones who have picked up a Zune over other less-featured, more popular players on the market, the Zune itself has several safeguards to prevent hard drive platter damage built into the unit. For example, if your headphones are ever yanked out of the headphone jack, the player stops the music (thereby stopping any data reading) instantly. Also, the player has jar/drop detection; so if the player has a sudden "bump," the zune stops reading any data and puts whatever song you're listening to on "pause."
This case can only help, though, in regard to preventing damage in an accidental drop. I believe the case is a good value for the money and was obviously designed with the Zune in mind since it fits so perfectly. Speck Dragon Toughskin Rubberized Case for Zune 80/120 GB (Black)
The Speck Dragon Toughskin Rubberized Case for Zune 80 GB is a terrific product for your money. This case does not leave the buttons exposed like most others do. If you look closely at the product pictures you can see the button areas are covered. I would say this is the main reason I purchased this product over others. The other reviewer brings up a very good point. I would totally agree that the screen protector (glorified sticker) provided is not very good. If you mess up and have to try a second time to stick it on you might as well throw it away. There is a full length clear piece of plastic inside the case that has tabs sticking out the top and bottom. The tabs hold the case squarely in the display box during shipping. When you unpack the case save this piece of plastic. All you have to do is cut off the tabs and trim it to fit over the screen area. Make sure to leave a little overlap so the edges of the case around the screen have something to grip. There is also a cardboard insert (actual Zune size) that works very well as a template. The case is rubber and fits the Zune very snugly so it holds the trimmed piece of plastic without slipping. You are able to use the full Zune button functionality even though they are fully covered by this case. I was worried about being able to "touch" scroll without pressing the actual center button and it wasn't a problem. I would suggest using something non alcohol based to clean any plastic screen protector as it tends to haze even after cleaning it once with the wrong stuff. The only down side I can see is that rubber tends to show dust and may be hard to keep clean. Using a can of compressed air and a light coating with a silicone based cleaner ought to do the trick. With not a lot of after market case options available yet for the Zune 80 GB this ain't a bad way to go!
Overall, great product. The description is a little misleading, about the "DRAGONSKIN" and "MAXIMUM PROTECTION", but marketing is marketing. The rubber case is pretty durable when dealing with drops and scratches though, and it looks awesome, I might add. All you have to do is place the Zune into the bottom part of the Toughskin case first, then pull the top part of the case over the top of the Zune.
About the screen...
Like the first review said, the screen "protector" is crap. It's just a clear sticker that you peel apart from its sticker protector things, then you have to try to stick the sticker onto the Zune's screen (with snake-like aim) before the sticker soaks up all the dust in the room, like it was obviously intended to do. But to be honest, a 1-star rating for just that reason was a little unfair-whoever wrote that first review. I found that you can pretty easily use this other piece of plastic as a screen protector. Yeah, there was another piece of plastic that came as one of those random, pointless packaging items, inside the actual rubber case. You can just cut it up in 3 snips to fit the Zune's screen perfectly, and it sits in the rubber case just fine without moving around. It works great, being thick and stiff (the plastic haha).
Again, overall, great product. It does what it's intended to do: protect the Zune while leaving access to ports and functions. The only reason I gave this product a 4/5 was because of the lack of screen protection THAT WAS EXPECTED and because the rubber gets dusty easily-but that could just be because I have an extremely dusty room.'
