Neoprene Sleeve - neoprene sleeve, computer sleeve

It's not perfect, but it's a very nice protector for a netbook. The Case Logic website has a list of every netbook model that fits inside this sleeve.

I have an Aspire One with the 6 cell battery (there's a wart on the back of the computer where the battery sticks out), and the fit is virtually perfect for this sleeve. Nothing else fits in the main compartment. The padding is very nice, just about right, not too much, not too little. It feels very good in your hand.

There is an ingeneous zippered pocket on the front of this sleeve. There is a slot for devices USB - mostly a USB flash drive, but also some shorter USB wires would fit in here. The Acer A/C adapter fits in the outer pouch, but you end up with a very lumpy sleeve (a pretty big bulge where you slid the adapter.

Of course this has the nasty old vinyl / neoprene odor that goes away after a few days. You'll want to turn this inside out and air it out in a sunny location.

As a sleeve - and it's important you know this is a sleeve, not a PC case - this is a very nice protector. You can very easily toss this in a larger PC bag, or carry on luggage, and have no fear that your computer will get scratched or damaged. It will not hold papers, hard drives, cell phone, etc. Just the computer and a USB key.

My sample is black. The charcoal color with gray accents is very nice looking.

March 6, 2011 update - iPads fit in this sleeve. I've carried my iPad for the past year inside this sleeve. With no cover on the iPad, the device is pretty loose inside. I used a DodoCase and then an InCase book style cover for a while, and they both fit inside this sleeve nice and snug. I'm now using an Amazon Basics silicone case that only covers the back of the iPad. The silicone hangs up on the sleeve material, so it's a bit harder to slide the iPad in and out. But then again, the iPad doesn't shift around inside the sleeve. This combination has been on forty or fifty flights in carry on with me over the past year - not a bit of damage or problem with the iPad. When I pull the iPad out, this sleeve crumples up in the book pocket of the plane seat. Pretty darn nice. Caselogic PLS-13 Neoprene 13.3-Inch Neoprene Laptop Sleeve (Black)

I like this bag a lot. I got it for my 13'' macbook pro and it fits perfectly. It is more cushiony than other sleeves I looked at and the pocket is a great addition. It stretches to hold funky shaped things like the charger, extension cord for the charger, flash drives, cds, and more. One review I read said that the inside is a furry material... it is more of a foam material that is very soft. It won't scratch at all. This sleeve is a great buy!

I bought this case for my 14" Lenovo ThinkPad with the 9-cell battery. I wanted extra protection for when I'm carrying it around campus in my backpack.

I was pleased to find that this case fits snugly around my extended battery pack with enough room for my power adaptor and USB mouse. The outside pocket is actually a functional size, even taking into account the stretching of the case around a computer. I was also impressed with the padding, which seems denser and higher-quality than other similarly-priced laptop sleeves I have seen at retail stores.

After a lot of comparison shopping, I'm quite satisfied with this product!

This is exactly what I was looking for with the added feature of a zippered pocket. Although this is a 14" sleeve, it's perfect for my 15.4" laptop, which happens to be 14" wide. Many other reviewers seem to think that a laptop sleeve should emulate a case. Not to be confused with a laptop case or bag, a laptop sleeve is just that and is meant to provide added protection when placing the laptop in a bag or container that isn't designed to transport a laptop, such as an attache case.

Thanks to another review, I was able to get a good feel if this sleeve would fit my DELL Mini 10v with a 6 cell (bigger) battery. The sleeve fits and expands just the right amount to accommodate the Mini 10 and its bigger battery. I was worried about the bigger battery and could not find any details (except from one review for this product) that gave any hint if it work fit. Not even DELL could get me that information (which is odd). Amazon does pretty well with this thanks to customer feedback.

I think this is a nicely made sleeve that will do a good job protecting my 10v as I travel now and then. It is cheap in cost and should work for anyone needing to transport a 10v.

For me, the sleeved mini will be put into the extra compartment of a laptop backpack. This compartment does not have padding so the sleeve will do the protection.

For what I bought it for, it gets does exactly what it was purchased to do. I own a Dell M1330, and it fits my laptop like a glove. I don't have the extended battery so I can't speak for how it'd fit (although I suppose since it is elastic it would fit an extended battery), but with the regular battery it fits like it was made for my 13.3" laptop. The additional pockets are a plus, as it'll expand to fit the power plugs for most laptops and even an interior flash drive pocket which i haven't used since flash drives are attached to me key-chain.

The sleeve itself is like a thin layer of memory form like material on the exterior lined with a fabricy (new word) smooth outer coating. Zippers have a rubber grip for easy access. Inside it's lined with a semi-fur like substance that seems to have been sprayed with a anti-scratch type coating which gives it a slight grip to minimize movement.

Personally speaking, i wouldn't recommend any sleeve for distance travels, but for short distances sure. If you plan on being very mobile, a laptop bag is a MUST. I use this in addition to a laptop bag because protecting my investment is a big factor for me. Overall, it does exactly as described and comes highly recommended. - Computer Sleeve - Neoprene Sleeve - Notebook Sleeve - Macbook Sleeve'

Dvd Recorder Vcr Combo - dvd vhs recorder, vhs to dvd

UPDATE: SINCE I WROTE THIS REVIEW THE ITEM DESCRIPTION INCLUDING THE MANUFACTURER HAS CHANGED AND THE refurbished MODEL ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW DOES NOT HAVE A TUNER ON IT. A refurbished VCR - DVDr combo with a tuner that appears to be the newer version of my model (which is still working great a year later) can be found here : Magnavox ZV457MG9 Dual Deck DVD/VCR Recorder

I bought this after returning a similarly-priced tunerless player-only combo product made by Samsung. That one would only output VHS over the composite line. No component. No HDMI. Apparently some upscaling or signal processing is involved in making the VHS play over those outputs, but the Magnavox outputs VHS over all three types of cables. I don't need to use two inputs on my tv, and I don't need to find my tv remote to switch inputs if I want to watch a tape.

Picture quality is excellent for dvd, VHS, and the cable-box signal I'm running through the player. The VHS picture is not as good as dvd, but I didn't expect it to be. It's still a high quality four head VCR/VHS player that looks tons better than my now dead one from 2001.

I tested the recording functions, which I don't generally use, and they work great, even with cheap dvds. Set-up was easy, and I didn't have any trouble figuring out the remote.

The long and short of it is that I was able to replace my dead vcr at a reasonable price with something that suits my current needs and home entertainment configuration.

Please note that I ordered this model refurbished. The manual that came with it indicates that it is a class A. I recommend that you contact the seller to make sure that you're going to get the A model. Magnavox DVD Recorder/VCR Combo, HDMI 1080p Up-Conversion, No Tuner (Manufacturer Refurbished)

If you want to copy your tape to DVD and to use this DVD in other units, I sincerely suggest you not to buy this product. I have 3 DVD players at home: Panasonic, Element Electronics and Curtis, I cannot play any DVD I copied from this machine in these 3 units.

I followed the instruction P.27 using Sony and TDK DVD+R, P41-42 dubbing Process and P.44-45 Finalizing a Disc, but it did not work. After 6 times try and error, called customer service 3 times, they finally told me "We cannot guarantee the disk you copied can be used in other units."

I would definitely not recommend this product.

I, like most people, have always been skeptical of "remanufactured" products. However, this one is definitely worth the price (and then some).

I was in need of another combo unit when the one I had died and I hadn't transferred all tapes to DVD. I didn't really want to spend that much for a unit, but the "remanufactured" option was within the budget.

I have to say that this was money well spent. Not only to do you get a quality 4-head VHS player/recorder, but you also get a stunningly-versatile DVD player/burner. With 6 months of life left in my old combo unit, the VHS tapes played back with lines through the screen; hardly a quality you want when transferring tapes to DVD. Some of the tapes weren't even played that much, and sure "tape" over time will continue to degrade, but you should still get a decent picture from a tape in good condition. The 4-head VHS player brought the quality of the tape back to life.

Perhaps the best feature I'm crazed about is the DVD chapter editing feature. Of course when you record a program, chapters will automatically be added per your selected setting options (every 5...10...15min) from the menu; however, prior to finalizing your disc, you can review the chapter markers and edit them as you choose (add, move to new location or remove completely); something my old unit didn't do.

Finally, when I purchased this item, shipping was slated for at least 5-7 business days since it was coming from a third-party distributor. I ordered it on 1/25, it was shipped on 1/26 and I received it on 1/27 -- SWEET!! The shipping time enabled me to receive the unit, set it up, review the features and had me recording and dubbing by the weekend.

I just got this refurb model a few days ago and could not be happier. First, I like refurb units because it means someone had a problem with the unit when new, that now has been resolved. The one I got looks like a factory new model. The one touch dubbing is exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of old home movies, TV shows, etc... on VHS. I pop in the tape, pop in the DVD ( I use DVD RW but this unit does R+ and R- as well)hit the dubbing button and come back in a few hours. The DVD copy actually looks cleaner than the VHS original. The DVD RW plays in every DVD player I've tried. I think the compatability problems others have talked about is because they didn't finalize the disc. With the DVD RW you don't have to finalize, with other formats you do. I got this unit for under $70 including shipping. The exact unit at a nearby store sells for $149. This is a solid machine that performs just as stated. I think you'll be happy with it. - Dvd Vhs Recorder - Vcr-dvd Combinations - Vhs To Dvd - Dvd Vcr Combo'

Pouches - laminator, pouches

With the economy being what it is, I search out bargains and hope for the best. I've found some new products, as well as new stores, both brick and mortar and on the web. I feel that excellent deals need to be shared with anyone who could benefit from a quality product at a great price.

Well, these laminating pouches are as good if not better than any I have previouly used at prices much higher. They are clear, and true to spec. At this price, experimenting with heat lamination is a worthwhile event. Actually I have only had one semi-failure and it was my fault for not aligning the pouch correctly in the feed of my laminator. SPR01156 - Laminating Pouch, Letter Size, 9x11-1/2, 5 Mil, Clear

Didn't USE the required carton sandwich board in laminating... because it will not fit my laminator and still PRODUCED great lamination... Maybe it is advisable to create a list of laminator that the sandwich board is USABLE and NOT....

These laminating sheets are high quality and a great value for the money. Each box comes with a "carrier" set and it makes the laminating go smoothly. My documents and school projects have a professional finish after I laminate them and they will last for years to come! - Laminator - Pouches'

Beauty Products

This is a very good product My face feels so smooth I'am so glad I bought the replacement brushes as I don't want to stop using this for a minute. I highly recommend the Oil of Olay cleansing face brush and get the replacement brushes at the same time.

Sincerely,

Patricia Lidel Olay Professional Pro-X Replacement Brush Heads, 2 Count

I bought the replacement brush heads because I wanted to have them when (and if) the brush head I have on the original unit wears out. I use this tool in my daily routine and love the results. I have been using Olay products for nearly 40 years and have never strayed from the line. At 50 years old, I constantly hear from others that I don't look it at all and I owe most of that to Olay.

These were also a gift and they are replacement heads for the Olay Professional Pro-X facial scrubber and I'm sure that they are going to work just fine as the person I give this to said that the Olay Professional Pro-X is great and is doing the job that it is suppose to do. The person hasn't had to use the replacement brush heads yet for the one that came with the Olay Professional Pro-X hasn't worn out yet.

These replacement heads work very well. They are not too hard and not so soft that they are ineffective. They don't fray or come loose from the base. I replace mine every three months, but during the time in use they rinse clean very easily and don't hold any sort of odor. I've used this and Clarisonic's facial brush, and for my money I prefer the Olay system because it does the exact thing as the Clarisonic, the smaller heads allow easier access around the nose, the cost can't be beat.

Never ever, ever, ever exfoliated. Unfortunately, due to an injury I find myself spending more time on the computer. I've noticed a change in my skin almost immediately. This gadget gets in there, the way wishing normally doesn't. Finally, something I can put my stamp of approval on! Believe the hype!'

Kindle 3

This product is very good. It doesn't like most of the screen protectors sold on Amazon which are clear. It's matte, thus no glare at all even in bright sunshine. Hope the seller can sell the screen protector by piece in stead of a pack of 3. GreatShield Ultra Anti-Glare (Matte) Clear Screen Protector Film for Amazon Kindle 3G 3rd Generation (3 Pack)

I was excited that the item truly does leave the screen more or less anti-glare. I have read my Kindle outside in the sun and didn't notice any more glare than say sunlight off the pages of a book.

I wish the protector fit the screen better, it's about an 1/8 - 1/4 of inch too small on both the length and the width. I had to decide which part of my screen I wanted to leave unprotected.

Also, as with any screen protector, I'm glad there were 3 and I think I may need to order another pack. In trying to finagle the protector to lay sort of centered on the screen, I managed to get a piece of dust stuck each time. I do live with cats, and not in a hermetically sealed bubble, so dust is an eventuality, but I think next time I will just have to try moving slowly with the protector to not pick up dust in the air.

This review would have been 5 stars if the protector was cut closer to the actual screen size. I think that would have also helped my application of the protector and I wouldn't have ended up getting dust trapped.

if you want something that doesnt have the glare like most of the ones on here this is defently the set for you. i was surprised at how they look against the kindle screen. i would have thought it would still be glossy but defently not. these look just like the screen except the air bubble i have under my protector that i havent done anything with yet. i am bummed that it doesnt fit the whole screen but it covers majority of it and that's all that i guess really matters to me. i am really impressed by these and defently will buy these again if i need to get more. for me it was well worth the money spent.

I have been leery of many screen protectors and from the reviews written by my fellow amazon reviewers. The beauty of the product is its simplicity of design and quality. There is a little blue cloth to wipe down your screen, then the screen protector is wedged between plastic sheet 1 and 2: peel and one side will have slight, ever so slight stickiness... Then roll slowly over the screen and use the little brown plastic tab to push the air bubbles out. Yep, there is a slight mm gap, but hell you are going to need that to peel it off eventually! It is part of the design and not a fault in the design! I am totally okay with the tiniest bubbles on a few of the corners as it does not affect the print. Yep, I am super glad that I got this screen protector (from dirt and not from too much pressure applying on it!). The anti glare factor, yes, noticed when led lights fall on it, it is much more matted, not that the kindle itself doesnt do a great job in the antiglare department. Well worth this non too expensive accessory.

1) There is no info on the Great Shield package about a manufacturer if you want to contact them, so I assume it is made for Amazon.

2) The instructions on the package are basically impossible to read for older folks because of font size, even with bifocals. There seems to be plenty of room on the package to make the font larger, and I suggest that they do so.

3) The instructions say to use the "installation card" provided to smooth out bubbles. There was no such item in the package. The wipe cloth was provided.'

Earbud Headphones - fitness, exercise

These are the best earphones for running I have ever used. They don't budge once you put them in and their sound quality is fantastic. They come with two sizes of hooks which is a first for me. It seems like more companies would design earphones that way because it just makes sense since we all don't have the same size ears. The ones attached in the package fit me, but I did try the larger ones too and they change out very easily. The nice thing about these is the earpiece rotates on the hook so once you put the hook over your ear, the earpiece can be turned into the ear so it will stay securely in place with no additional effort. I can't tell you what a nice thing that is because the constant adjusting of earphones really detracted from the pleasure of my run. I like to plug in and go, and so far I've not needed to adjust these once, they don't budge. They come with three sizes of ear cushions which is part of the reason they don't budge too. With ear canal earphones, you need a snug fit to help keep them in place but more importantly, to get their full sound quality. Once you get a good seal in your ear, you'll be treated to their exceptional sound. I'm no audiophile, but I know good sound when I hear it and these are very, very good sounding earphones. The music is crystal clear and the bass response is very good. When you consider the price and their functionality, not to mention the case, which by itself is very nice, these are a great deal. I'll be recommending them to my friends for sure. Sound-Squared "Sport" Headphone Earbuds Earphones w/ 2 Earhook Sizes and Earphone Case - Great Value!

I'm so happy that I got these earbuds. I wasn't sure if I should get them because the price is so low. However, the reviews looked good so I figured I'd try them out. I run about 4 miles each time I'm out and have not had to mess with them at all (which I was doing with my previous pair). Also, they come with little extras, like extra buds that formfit to your ears and a carrying case. As a bonus, the carrying case is the perfect holder for my new ipod nano(the tiny one that clips on). I am very happy that I bought these!

I've been through a slew of headphones lately, seeking a pair that won't fall out, won't hurt my ear where it rests after just 15 to 30 minutes and has great sound. These fit the bill perfectly. I was able to wear them all day while I worked and not once did they fall out, even when the cord got caught a couple times they stayed well enough in place to not be annoying. My ear doesn't hurt from wearing them for hours and the sound is perfect. I'd highly recommend these!

I almost never write reviews, but I really had to for these headphones. I bought them primarily for when I work out. As a rule, I never pay much for anything I workout with: shoes, clothes, headphones. I'm not doing speed walking at the Y, so I literally destroy everything that I wear. Extreme sports? I do those in my sleep, and what I do while I'm awake and working out doesn't have a name. Let's just say I pound 9 red bulls to relax after a workout. So how do these hold up?

It's been almost a week now, and I've probably used them for about 12 hours. The sound is really good, they have withstood COPIOUS amounts of sweat, and been stomped on a few times...accidentally of course.

They are such a great fit, although I did the Goldilocks routine of the ear canal pieces being too big, too small, and the last ones...well, you know.

One last thing, I wear glasses, and I find it to be a pain with over the ear grips on ear phones. These DO NOT mess with the arms of my glasses at all, and once I set them in, they don't move much! Could you find a better set of earphones? I'm sure, but not at this price. You'd be looking at paying three times as much, at least! Make a smart purchase and BUY these, you won't be sorry!

These are fantastic earphones!!! The sound quality is amazing, and 10 times better than what you would get out of the standard iPod earbuds. I would go so far to say they are pretty much noise canceling. Plus, they are very fairly priced. They fit very comfortably and are perfect for smaller ears when fitted with the small earbuds. They are also much quieter and don't emit as much sound outside of your ear as a lot of other headphones do. I don't feel like I'm disturbing the people around me when listening to music loudly. If you are looking to get a lot of bang for your buck, then look no further!!

This is my second pair of these headphones. I absolutely love them! They're the only ones I've found that are reasonably priced and actually stay in my ears when I'm running or working out! They come with three different sizes of inserts in case your ear canals are small. I can wear them for hours and they don't even hurt my ears. Plus, the sound is great!

I've had these for about a month. They have a pretty decent sound quality, especially for the price. However, they don't fit quite right in my ears. When running, they slowly work their way out of my ear canal and the sound noticeably deteriorates. If I'm wearing them just to lift, or listen to music, they are great! I bought them with the purpose of using them during runs. I guess it depends on your intended use. There are only two sizes of ear hooks, so it is also difficult to match them up to the multitude of ear sizes out there. If you're buying them for low impact to no impact activities, I would highly recommend these. Not a good choice if you're buying them to run with. - Exercise - Fitness - Ear Bud - Earphones'

Notebook Sleeve - case, acer aspire one

I already have and very much like a slightly-larger version of this for my Dell Latitude D620 computer at work, so this was an easy purchase decision. My Eee PC 1000 already came with a similar neoprene case, but a big too big for the computer alone, yet not big enough to also hold the AC adapter and a mouse, plus no way to keep them from scratching the computer if I'd jammed them all in together.

The Caselogic LNEO-10 is just enough smaller to properly fit the 1000, with a separate zipped compartment that can accomodate both the AC adapter and a mouse. Though the result looks a bit lumpy, it works well. I also very much like the handles on the LNEO-10. They are comfortable in use, and easily fold out of the way when not in use. Case Logic LNEO-10 Ultraportable Neoprene Notebook/iPad Sleeve Fits 7 to 10.2-Inch Tablets (Black)

I picked up one of these cases for my EEE PC 1000h and it fits pretty close to perfectly. The pocket on the side is big enough to hold the power adapter and a mouse. The top handles are more useful than I would have thought, since I intended to mostly carry this case inside a messenger-style bag, but I've found it quite handy to just carry the computer in just this case. The case seems reasonably well padded, probably not enough to protect a laptop from a serious drop but enough to protect it from the occasional bump. The only thing I could ask for would be for a pocket on the other side. I'm pretty satisfied with this case.

I like the design, it's a pretty tiny case. I bought it following a recomendation for my Lenovo S10 that looks awesome in white color. So what I can not accept at first, is that the red cover inside the sleeve stains the charguer and cables that ARE WHITE. CASE LOGIC MUST HAVE TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION.

If you have a black or dark netbook you'll never realize about the stains, but what if you put a document inside?

I did not notice the external pocket when I made my purchase. I was surprised to see it.

EEE 1000 fits inside the main compartment well and the power adapter fits inside the other pocket. It is not as smooth and flat when the power adapter is put in the pocket, but it is convenient for grabbing everything as one set.

The Samsung NC10 fits nicely. Not a snug fit by any means, but close enough to keep it from flopping around in the case. The external pocket holds the NC10 power supply, Bluetooth mouse and has room left for two extra batteries, a small USB router and a couple of very small items like a flash drive. The pocket will be misshapen and lumpy, but all your stuff will be in one place.

The carrying handles are soft and easy to hold.

Overall construction is typical Caselogic: very well made.

I have one small lament: no loops for a shoulder strap. My opinion is that all carrying bags should have loops o shoulder straps.

Other than that small item (and it is indeed a lament, not a complaint), the Caselogic LNEO-10 Ultra-Portable Neoprene Notebook Sleeve is an inexpensive, durable and expandable way to carry and protect your netbook.

Jerry

After trying out several different cases/sleeves for my Toshiba NB205 and being disappointed with each, I stumbled upon this Case Logic Notebook sleeve. It has been an exceptional choice in that it stretches nicely and so will easily accommodate the 6-cell battery which extends out from the back of my netbook. The pocket on the front on the bag is just large enough to squeeze in a mouse and the charging cord for my computer, although it is very "lumpy" when everything is zipped in. It definitely helps to wind up the cord prior to storing it.

One of the nicest features of the bag is the handle. It is a well-built double handle that offers a secure way to carry the computer. This case would be perfect for any of the 10.1" netbooks.

This sleeve is superior to most because:

1) It is made by Caselogic (they make excellent accessories for computer items such as flash drives, memory cards, CD books and so much more. I have owned their product for several years and they are of superb quality. Hence I bought this and am delighted.

2) The outside pocket is a very big reason I bought this case and it holds: My mini retractable mouse, small mouse pad, and a small pouch with my flash drives.

Note that the power cord is somewhat bulky inside this sleeve, however, I fixed this problem by slipping my sleeve inside my ziptop briefcase and place the power cord inside the inside inner pocket. Then I am all set to go!

Also I found that this case has excellent padding for my Acer Aspire One netbook and am very pleased with it.

I recently bought one of these cases to try out on my new Toshiba Mini NB205-N330BN 10.1-Inch Sable Brown Netbook, which has the infamous "9-Hour Battery Bulge", making it difficult to fit in some standard cases. It fits perfectly. The case is small, and I confess to feeling a little self-conscious at times because of its similarity to a purse, but the neoprene protection is fantastic, and the stretchiness allows you to easily fit an additional mouse and/or power pack in the front pocket. Although it does look pretty lumpy when you do that.

It's such a solid build that I honestly don't think I'll ever need another one -- it really does feel like it's built to last. It's good enough that I immediately ordered one for my girlfriend, one for my mom, and one for my stepdad who all have Toshiba NB205 netbooks. - Netbook - Case - Acer Aspire One - Notebook Sleeve'

Fitness Furniture - ball chair, balance ball

I and 3 of the girls that work for me got one of these "chairs". Two of us had been using a regular exercise ball, but due to the fact we are up and down alot during the day we decided to try the ones that are on casters. The "chairs" arrived sooner than expected and were easy to set up...well, except for the air pump, it was cheesy. We used a better pump we had on hand. The only problem I could state is the fact that the brakes on the casters will lock on their own, but it hasn't been a huge problem.

As far as the total experience of sitting on the ball chair all day at work, getting up and down and moving from the keyboard to the file drawer without having to get up (as I had to do with the regular exercise ball) it is a great chair! The exercise ball by itself took concentration and it was not good to wear a skirt or dress while sitting on it. With the casters it's no problem to wear a dress.

One of the girls had been using the Wii Fit Board prior to sitting on this chair. After about a week or so her fitness scores went up on the Wii; for better balance and core fitness. All of us have noticed better posture since using the ball chair. It is possible to slouch while sitting on it, but it is not comfortable to slouch. For some reason it is just more comfortable to sit up straight.

One of the girls had been having minor back pain and she said she hasn't had it since using the ball chair.

We do get allot of comments from customers about how weird or funny it looks, but it has not deterred any of us to go back to a regular chair. It just gives us a chance to applaud the attributes of how much better our balance, posture and core fitness is and tell them "We are always on the ball".

Of the four of us that bought the chair, we all like it 100% and have not gone back to the regular chairs provided to us by the county. We have all been using the Balance Ball Chair since the day we got them, 1 1/2 months ago.

10/7/2010: 2 YEARS AND 2 MONTHS LATER AND WE ARE STILL USING THE BALANCE BALL CHAIRS. One of the balls got a leak and she had to buy a new one. Other than that no problems. I have since hired a new girl and she also bought a ball chair like ours .... I highly recommend the chair ... plus they are tons cheaper than any office type chair. Isokinetics Inc. Balance Ball Chair - with Black 52cm Ball and a Pump

The isokinetics ball chair works like a charm. I recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their sitting posture and improve their health in the process. Instead of alot of fluff about how I love the chair, I will make this easy and concise.

- If you sit at a desk and are contemplating between this or just a plain ball, get this. You don't worry about the ball rolling away and you don't worry about being too low.

- This is the less expensive of the available offerings. I can see no real difference between this one and the gaiam.

- As you can see, there are no arms. If you have a keyboard tray at correct level, it wont be an issue. If your keyboard and mouse are not at a good ergonomic level, you may find your arms straining.

- The construction is solid. Yes, it is plastic, but it is not flimsy fisher-price plastic as mentioned. Use this as it is intended and you will have no problems.

- To avoid the ball explosions (that sounds dirty) others have noted, pay close attention to the instructions when the chair arrives. You wont be using this chair day one out of the box.

- The "back" of the chair is not actually a back, it is for balancing. It is not intended that you lean back on this ball chair. The instructions includes exercise recommendations and the "back" comes into play then.

- Go slow at first. Your spine needs to adjust to sitting up straight. Eventually you can sit the day on the ball and improve core strength as well as posture. At first, it may actually hurt if you sit too long.

- While it is not impossible to slouch, the chair does make it less comfortable to do so.

- The wheel locks others complained about... there are only two. make sure you put those wheels in back and you wont kick them. They have not fallen any other time other than when I did something to cause them too.

I have noted improvements in posture in just a few weeks of owning and using this chair. I dont wake with a stiff back anymore and I seem to be walking an inch or two taller as of late.

Here's to your health!

I first heard of the ball chair when Leo Laporte mentioned he sat on one when recording his This Week In Tech podcast. I thought, that sounds like a good idea. I must have one. And I clicked over to Amazon.com.

I have had issues with my back for years and was looking for something that would help strengthen my core while sitting at my computer all day. This ball chair claims to allow both of my goals to be met and the price is not bad either when compared to other office chairs.

Not being a very patient person I was a little disappointed to have to wait 24-hours while the ball was inflated at 60%-70% percent (cannot remember the exact amount). But my lack of patience isn't the ball's fault. This was necessary to condition the ball so that it would not pop when being used. I found it impossible to use the cheap plastic hand pump that came in the box as it was not even air tight. it did not pump any air at all. Luckily I had a tire pump that had a nozzle that would work with the ball. By day 2 I was ready to test out chair.

I put it in front of my computer, sat down and realized I was sitting too high to reach the keyboard without slouching. Hmmm. The instructions say it is okay to let some of the air out to remedy this. I felt a bit like Goldilocks as I let out some air....no, too low...add a little more air...no, too high....let out some more air...ah, there, just right.

I noticed right off that the ball chair was very uncomfortable. My lower back started aching immediately (it is not used to having to work). I had read other reviews and took their advice to only sit on the ball chair for 10-15 minutes at a time and build up. After about a week I could stand to sit on it for quite sometime without causing the muscles in my lower back to hurt. In fact, as I walked around, I could actually feel where my muscles had become stronger. This ball chair was really doing what they said it would! My spare tire was ever-so-slightly firmer.

However, my rear-end was in constant pain as what I thought would be a soft, bouncy cushion turned out to be a hard, round piece of rubber. I thought I would get used to this too and eventually the chair would not hurt my behind. But after a few weeks, that has not yet happened. Each time I would eventually have to get up and switch back to my old office chair. This week I did not use the ball chair at all. I know it is good for my back, but it is just too uncomfortable for my backside.

I am a 6-foot tall man who has a big rear-end taking up most of the ball's surface......Maybe this chair would be fine for a skinny woman who do not have the weight or mass to cover the ball. Or maybe it is a pain in the rear-end for everyone. I guess I just need to toughen up and take my yoga ball like a man. ;-) - Balance Ball Chair - Balance Ball - Office Chair - Ball Chair'

Ps3 Wireless Controller - ps3 160gb, garbage

This product feels sturdy, near identical to Sony's PS3 controller, resulting in the 4 stars. However, since firmware 3.5 Sony has blocked 3rd party USB accessories so this no longer works with a PS3. This isn't the companies fault, just be aware it no longer works on the PS3. PS3 SX-3 Wireless Controller

This product didn't work, so I had to ship it back - on my own dime. It felt like a solid product, only it didn't work! Perhaps its a fluke and the new one will be fine, but at this point, I feel like I should have just bit the bullet and bought another Sony controller.

Continued... The replacement came (I had to ship back at my cost) and the controller worked. It's not as responsive as the Sony, but it does work. I think if your (young) kids break the originals, this would work as a replacement. Adults probably wouldn't be satisfied with the performance, though.

Unfortunately for me, I bought this from Ross stores a while ago for $19.99 and it's a dud, something mechanical must be wrong because it neither works on the ps3 nor the PC either. How can Hyperkin come out with this junk to waste ppl's money and time? They won't even comment back on their facebook page and there's no way to email them. In this age, I think there should be more options than to call them and talk to someone who might give me the run around over the phone. I'll never buy another Hyperkin Tomee product again! Junk!!! Hope I can find some way to fix this product.

You get what you pay for... This controller is not the best I've seen out there. It works well enough where you can play your games, but some of the games can be difficult to play if you need to use the R1,2 and L1,2 buttons a lot. The R2 and L2 buttons are the hardest to use. You REALLY have to press the button, compared to the PS3 original controller. Also, the joystick isn't as smooth as the original PS3 controller. Not being picky, but I mention this because with the original controller you can move the stick slowly and the exact angle will reflect in-game, whereas with this controller even if you go slow, the in-game result is jumpy. Moving it slowly you'll notice that it only recognizes 8 points (Up, Down, Left, Right and up-left, up-right, down-left, down-right).

This controller has been great. I was a little skeptical when we received it and realized that it wasn't a rechargeable, but it gets used A LOT and we haven't had to change the batteries on it yet. It is a solid product.

[...]

THIS CONTROL IS NOT WORKING. I LOST A COUPLE OF OF HOURS TRYING AND TRYING AND i WASTED MY TIME. THERE IS NOT INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE THE BOX. IN ADITTION THE COSTUMER SERVICE OF THIS SELLER IS VERY POOR. I REGRET TO BUY THIS ITEM;BUY AN ORIGINAL CONTROL INSTEAD, THAT IS MY RECOMMENDATION. - Ps3 160gb - Ps3 Wireless Controller - Garbage - Playstation 3'

Iphone Speakers - ipod alarm clock, alarm clock

The first time I saw this item, it really caught my eye. I liked that you could turn it on its side to watch a movie! And I really just liked the look of the machine itself!! It didn't disappoint me at all when I tried it out. The sound quality is really good. I was nicely surprised. It's nice and compact so you can put it on your night stand or desk and for get it's there. I'll be starting college in a couple weeks and I'm moving into a dorm, so the smaller the better. This will be a good alarm clock for me and my room mate. With the back up battery, you can easily move it to the bathroom or where ever and not have to reset the time. There's only two cons I can come up with. 1. It really bites that there's no "Next" or "Last track" buttons on the machine though. You have to use the Ipod to change songs. 2. It's really annoying that the remote is not included. It's another $20 to get it. Other than that, the machine is definitely worth it! iHome iP41 Rotating Alarm Clock for iPod and iPhone (Black)

I ordered this after receiving the previous non iphone compatable version as a gift. I wanted a small unit for my office at work. It comes with some plastic inserts for docking different versions of ipods which I didn't use. I can connect and charge my first gen Iphone without removing the silicon rubber style case I use. There is a little battery indicator on the front that looks like the iphone charge indicator, but it's actually for the units battery backup, not an indicator of the iphones charge. It will turn sideways for watching video,(a nice feature I probably wont use) and still stay connected.

The sound is good but not great, I believe it's just a single speaker and this may be the reason for my one con; it doesn't fill a space with sound at low volume very well, which is how I use it at work, I think stereo units are better for low volume play. The remote is well designed, and controls the ipod app nicely.

I'm not sure I would use it as an alarm clock as even though the snooze & reset buttons are on the top of the speaker, I could see myself banging the Iphone when reaching for it, which might not be good as it sort of just balances on the plug, without a back-rest of any sort.

If size is your first priority this is a good choice, its not much bigger than a typical PC speaker. If stereo sound quality is your priority you might want to consider a unit with multiple speakers.

There are two different versions of this product. One only works with the iPod and one works with both the iPod and iPhone. We have the iPhone 3G and it works perfectly. It is great because you can tilt it to the side and watch your videos. I keep mine on my nightstand and I LOVE that the light can be on one of 3 different settings or turned off. I do have to laugh that the there is a remote that activates the snooze button. I won't be needing that, but I suppose somebody might. I would recommend this product if you need something on your nightstand to charge your iPhone that has an alarm and will also play your music and videos. I put a lot of TV shows on my iPhone so I really love the rotating feature of this product.

To me, this is the perfect alarm clock! I can both charge my iPod and wake up to my favorite tunes!

Pros:

-Stylish, small profile design

-3 different clock dim levels

-Energy star compliant :)

-Charges your iPod/iPhone

-Great sound for one little speaker

-Alarm starts out soft then works its way to your specified volume (love that!)

-Includes different plastic adapters to fit a variety of iPods or iPhone

-Standard alarm will sound if iPhone/iPod is not connected

-Includes a battery backup feature so if you lose power the alarm still functions

-Can be rotated horizontally or vertically (LCD display rotates automatically)

-Nice large snooze button-- perfect for sleepy mornings!

-Sleep timer settings so you can fall asleep to your favorite tunes!

Cons:

(if I have to be picky... here's some cons)

-Adapter cord could be a little bit longer

-Button tactile feedback is a little hard

-Confirmation alarm beep is a little loud

-Initial set-up (clock/alarm time) is not too intuitive

Pros:

-small size. Even compared to regular alarm clock/radio combos out there, it's smaller than most of them though it's taller.

-cool design. Especially with the iPod on, and the display on it's highest brightness setting, this is one cool looking set.

-iHome+sleep app. This free downloadable app let's you customize your nap/wakeup schedule with customizable music selection, and paired with iHome+radio, can play internet radio to wake you up. (ihome+radio app costs $2 btw)

-big sound. For it's small size, this can get loud, and it would take one really, really heavy sleeper unable to wake up to the music it plays at the loudest setting. This can double as a speaker dock, especially with the unit turned sideways so you can blast the sound while watching a movie file on the iPod. I wouldn't use it to host a party, but it works as a background noise for a small office. It even has a special expanded bass sound, which works fine.

-backup battery for the alarm clock. Though some alarm clock/radios come with this feature, some don't, so it's worth mentioning. I had a bad power outage when the power went out with a hurricane, and though the speaker/iPod didn't work (needed AC power) the alarm clock woke me up with its default sound setting.

-display. Big and bright, you can adjust the brightness so it won't bother you while you try to go to sleep, but visible enough to see the clock at the wee hours with your eyes half closed and not awake yet.

-Daylight savings adjustment. There is a switch on the back to +/- 1 hour, so if you think it's a hassle to change the hours twice a year, this is a great feature.

-aux-in port. Though I haven't tried it, with an audio-out cable, you could play other sources of audio. Can't say there's many clock radios with this feature.

-recharges your iPod. It won't sync your iPod, but it will recharge it!

Cons:

-no radio.

-small buttons/lack of some options. The snooze button is right in front of the iPod dock and it's quite small for an alarm clock. So chances are, if you are trying to get some more sleep, you might have to try pushing that button a couple of times. Also, any navigation you have to do for your music/media files are done only by the iPod, so that can be a minus. There is only play/pause button for that on the alarm clock/speaker unit itself.

-one speaker. While the sound is loud, there is only one speaker. So don't expect the audio quality of a Bose clock radio- but then again, you could probably buy three to five of these for one Bose!

Conclusion: At the price range, it's a very solid clock radio/speaker set. A radio would've been nice, and more accessibility features too, and a stereo sound, but all that would've made this unit more pricier, bigger and expensive. Most importantly, I haven't had a day where I overslept (so far) so it certainly works! - Ipod Dock - Alarm Clock - Ihome - Ipod Alarm Clock'

Miniplug To Rca Adapter - y cable, miniplug to rca adapter

This item is very good and when i compared it at the local electronic store it turned out to be very high end and of great quality. I use this item to connect my computers audio to my hd tv when i went to the store they wanted 22+ dollars for this item . This item shipped very fast and came in the mail box in a envelope bag which is super convenient for those who don't like going to the post office. Overall i can recommend this item for any one looking for a 3.5mm jack to RCA audio. I can use this item for many things like connecting my phone to the stereo or even i pod. Cables To Go 40423 Stereo Male to RCA Male Y-Cable (6 Feet, Black)

This is good quality, the only reason I am giving it 3 star is the construction could have been little more better and the end point for 3.5 connector, if little slim profile, would be better in hard to reach joints.

but overall good for the price i paid and serves my purpose very well.

I use this cable with a set of adapters that connect my Mac Book to a 46" LCD TV's HDMI input to watch downloaded movies in 1080i mode. I need it to handle the audio portion of the movie, and it works wonderfully. - Miniplug To Rca Adapter - Audio Cables - Y Cable - Rca To Miniplug Adapter'

Computer Accessories - otterbox, ipad

After my wife bought me an iPad and I cradled its sleek aluminum and glass body in my hands, I knew that finding a protective case for it was of paramount importance. But rather than jumping into the arduous task of researching the dizzying array of available iPad cases, I already had an idea where to look: OtterBox. My wife and I have both protected our iPhone 3GS's in the company's iPhone Defender cases for over a year and have been very happy with the results. Even after numerous accidental drops, our Defender-clad iPhones look like new underneath their "armor".

And fortunately, a quick check of the OtterBox web site revealed that the company did, in fact, offer a Defender series case for the iPad. Nearly ninety bucks and just over a week later, I am happy to report that OtterBox's Defender case for iPad is everything I had hoped it would be. At $89.95, this case is certainly one of the more expensive iPad case options available, but in my opinion, it is well worth the investment. I do have a minor quibble with the included instructions, but it is far outweighed by the product's overall quality, sheer durability, and style.

Contents:

The iPad Defender product includes a black high-impact polycarbonate shell, a separate black polycarbonate shield, a silicone outer skin, and a self-adhesive protective film. Other items include a microfiber cleaning cloth and a stiff scraper tool for applying the protective film to your iPad screen.

Packaging:

After opening the box, you find your Defender case nestled in a recyclable cardboard tray, along with a packet containing instructions and the other items included with the product. The utilitarian packaging does not quite provide the unboxing experience you'd have with an Apple product, but it suits its purpose well. Fortunately, the packaging is devoid of any unnecessary plastic or other packing material, so it's as environmentally friendly as possible.

Instructions:

Rather than providing written instructions in English and other languages, OtterBox included numbered illustrations printed inside the packet. One set of instructions illustrates how to apply the protective film, while another set illustrates how to remove the silicone skin, open the case, install the iPad, and close the whole thing back up again nice and snug. The packet also includes illustrated instructions for the company's other iPad case (the Commuter series), but they are clearly labeled as such and will hopefully not confuse any Defender purchasers. I really wish OtterBox had also provided written step-by-step Defender installation instructions, instead of relying solely on illustrations. Even well-executed illustrations (which these certainly are) can sometimes be difficult to understand, and I feel that even a sentence or two for each illustration could have provided better clarity. A web URL printed inside the packet gave me hope that more detailed instructions could be found on the OtterBox web site, but unfortunately the instructions for the iPad Defender case were not yet available on that web page at the time of this review. I'm certain that OtterBox will be rectifying this issue soon.

Installation:

By far, the most tedious part of installing this case is applying the self-adhesive protective film to your iPad's screen. The illustrated instructions do a fair job of expressing the necessary steps, but the film application could really be helped by accompanying written steps. As I applied the protective film along with its backing and used the scraper tool to smooth out bubbles, I started to get worried because the tool seemed to snag a few times, causing some small kinks which only got worse as I continued trying to gently scrape them to the edge. Fortunately, once I removed the backing from the protective film, I found that the kinks were not in the film itself, but rather in the disposable backing. Whew! The protective film ended up looking nearly perfect on my iPad screen. Removing the silicone skin, opening the polycarbonate case, inserting the iPad, and closing it all up again proved to be much easier.

Product Use:

First and foremost, the Defender case seems to achieve its primary purpose -- protecting your iPad -- very well. When you're not using the iPad, you should clip the polycarbonate shield over the iPad screen to provide maximum protection. The shield grips the edges of the case snugly, to help ensure that it doesn't inadvertently get knocked off. And when you're actually using your iPad, the shield has a retractable built-in stand which will set your iPad at a nice viewing angle for desktop or tabletop use. Or if you don't need the stand and want to hold the iPad while using it, you can simply clip the shield to the back of the case. Doing so will add a little more heft to an already-hefty iPad and case, so you can also just leave the shield off during handheld use as well. To help protect the various iPad ports, the case features integrated silicone plugs which are easy to open and close as necessary. The case also includes a removable access door to allow you to charge your iPad or mount it in a standard iPad dock. However, I did not test the iPad dock capability for this review.

Style:

Let's face it -- you're not going to buy this case because you're fashion-conscious. You're going to buy it because you (like me) want to provide the very best protection for your iPad, without locking it a vault. That notwithstanding, the OtterBox Defender case for iPad is still an attractive case. The iPad Defender is an imposing-but-stylish black polycarbonate and silicone suit of armor which, like its iPhone 3GS Defender little brother, provides a round protected window on the case's backside to clearly display the Apple logo. When the removable shield is used as a iPad stand, four small black silicone pads provide a secure footing on smooth surfaces. Both the silicone skin and the polycarbonate shield feature subtle checkering at the top and bottom edges to improve grip -- a nice touch.

Summary:

The Defender for iPad is likely the best protective case you can get under a hundred bucks. I already feel more comfortable lugging my iPad around, knowing that it will be able to stand up to just about anything I can throw at it (figuratively speaking, of course). With the Defender series case for iPad, OtterBox seems to have covered the bases quite well, offering a well-rounded combination of protection and stylishness. Power Adaptor Us To Uk - power plug adapter, travel

I bought 10 of these because I was moving to Europe. After using them (rather trying to use them), I've thrown them all out. They were simply too dangerous and too useless to keep around. As other reviewers note, they are not the adapters shown in the picture. As other reviewers also note, the plugs fall out easily (not from the UK side, but from the US side). To start, a non-grounded plug will not stay in under any circumstance. Because of the design of the plug (again, not shown), a non-grounded plug will fall right out. In fact, there's a spring mechanism on the contacts that actually works to push a non-grounded plug out. Grounded plugs work better, but the connection is still quite loose. I threw the first one out after a cord that was plugged into it was moved a bit and something inside of it must have shorted, causing it to throw a breaker. I threw the rest of them out when another one shorted and threw a breaker again. Stay away! Power Bright PB-12 US to UK 3-Prong Travel Outlet Plug Adapter

I ordered this product because I needed a polarized UK plug adapter. I was charged 7.25 for shipping but the plugs only cost 1.85 to ship to me, which is a total ripoff. Even worse, when I attempted to plug anything into the adapters it fell right out! Nothing will stay plugged into them, so they aren't even usable. They are not the plugs pictured here, they are much cheaper and don't work. Don't bother buying these adapters.

This review does not concern the product quality, rather the initial supplier Osprey Talon, who will charge approx 7$ in shipping per .95 cent adaptor. When selected the "buy new and used" link one will find 2 alternative suppliers with reasonable shipping charges.

Again, please be careful when ordering this product.

After reading reviews about plugs falling out of the adapter, we decided to buy just one and see for ourselves. My wife is a flight attendant who travels to London multiple times a month. She used it on her last trip with no problems. The US plug stayed in the adapter and the adapter stayed in the UK receptacle. I have no idea if she was lucky or they have improved their product recently but we just ordered five more for friends and relatives attending our son's wedding in the UK this summer.

I received this item right before I left to study abroad in the UK, and it doesn't work at all. I have tried every single outlet for it and when plugging in the US plug into the adaptor, it does not stay in. I was highly disappointed. If it wasn't for the fact I received a different one as a gift, I would be out of luck or have to buy one here. Which is really expensive.

Recently purchased this for a trip to St. Lucia. Used it for charging my cell phone and it worked really well. I was pleasantly surprised since I only paid about $3 or $4 for it and thankfully, it came in the day before my trip.

The adapter kept falling out of the wall plug. We had to prop something up against it and it still kept falling out. It works, but it is a pain. My husband literally had to hold it in the wall so that I could blow dry my hair. Please also realize that you must have a dual voltage appliance (hair dryer, etc.) because this is not a converter. Dual voltage hair dryers, straiteners, etc. are easy to find at Walmart, etc. Also, most computers and phone chargers are 120/240 so they are not a problem. Good luck!

Bought this. Went to the UK. Plugged it in. It worked for about an hour. Imagine how much it sucks to NEED a plug converter for your camera battery charger when you're 5 thousand miles from home, in a foreign country, and spent hard-earned money on this thing. EXACTLY. Buy the Targus converter/adapter instead. It just works, and that's what you'll need - something that just works -not sucks. - Power Adapter - Electrical - Travel - Power Plug Adapter'
