Liquid Leather - short short, liquid leather
The shorts are a great fit you just have to order a size bigger than you wear cause they run small but overall they are soft and fit really great. I bought them for a trip to atlantic city with friends and they all were asking where i got them from, i told them Amazon was the only place i could find them and that they were worth it....
Thanks Amazon
Maisha C Jean Style Leather Shorts (8)
The merchant shipped the merchandise fast . Unfortunately the leather shorts is short of what I have expected. I read the reviews that it runs small...and yes it does run small and slim...I ordered 2 sizes up...My waist is 25 inches which should be US size 2...so I ordered US size 6 coz I like my shorts little loose and little longer...as it stated the shorts in the merchant description should be just above the knee but the shorts I've received stopped at mid thigh... I really wanted it folded and looser...but end up just really tight and really slim. I am not sure what to do but I end up ordering another pair of leather shorts at ebay .
leather shorts are hot right now & i've been looking everywhere for one that's made of soft leather, high-waisted, with front & back pockets and slightly longer so i can fold them or leave them long. i'm lucky to have found these as they are exactly what i was looking for. i got a size 4 (i usually wear size 26 jeans) and they fit a little tight around the hips so maybe they do run a little small. i think the price is great for real leather shorts and this was overall, a great find. Now to look for tan/camel ones...
If you love leather your gonna love these buttery soft jean style leather shorts, they are so comfortable you just dont want to take them off. The delivery was fast and arrived in excellant condition, shorts fit perfect i take a size 10. do your self a favour buy them as a gift to you self or make some excuse, but get them you wont regret it. - Liquid Leather - Short Short - Shorts - Short Shorts'

Pixar - pixar, blu-ray
I had a very unusual experience seeing this movie in theaters.
I watched it, I had a great time, I laughed, cheered, was thrilled, and the moment the credits started to roll the people in the row behind me IMMEDIATELY started spouting off how much they HATED it. I was flabbergasted. I was sorely tempted to turn around and ask them if we even just saw the same movie? How could anyone hate something that's so much FUN?!
But after thinking about it, I could see actually why they didn't get into it. Cars 2 is the first Pixar movie where you really have to 'get the joke' of the premise, or the whole thing falls apart like a house of cards. What this movie is, is the best James Bond movie of the last 15 years (not counting Casino Royale which transcends Bond movies to be just a great spy movie), with a bit of The Accidental Spy thrown in.
I LOVE Bond movies. The crazy opening sequences, the insane gadgets, the quippy lines. And Cars 2 hit pitch perfect parodies of every Bond standard. But you could never say of any Bond movie that it's got a deep emotional core, that's not how they're made. They're made to be balls to the wall fun and thrills, and that's what this movie is. Which of course makes it the polar opposite of the original Cars. It could hardly be more different.
If you get the joke, that this is a James Bond movie with cars, it's a riot. Loads of fun. It's not deep, it's not going to tug at your heart strings, it will not make your mother cry three or four times (as virtually ever Pixar movie ever made prior has done to my mother, I take her to Pixar movies with a bucket). It's just riotous fun. And I'm amazed that people are punishing Pixar for making a movie that's just pure fun. Granted Pixar is famous for it's deep emotional stories, and I suppose people expect that sort of thing every time. Even if you make a fun and entertaining movie, if you don't do what people expect, they bite your head off for it.
I went in with few expectations cause the early reviews bashed it to pieces, and I was frankly not that big a fan of the original movie. In the first Cars McQueen spends an enormous amount of the movie whining, and I found him generally unlikeable until fully halfway through the movie. It was a good movie, with a lot of heart and a message, but not one I would describe as a lot of FUN. Mater especially, a little of him went a long way in the first movie, and I was really worried about him being the star of this movie, because if a little of him annoyed me in the first movie, this one has 10 times more of him.
And yet, he actually annoyed me LESS this time around, cause he had something to do instead of just hanging around being Mater. They struck a perfect balance in his 'mater-ness' where the Accidental Spy nature of his story is charming instead of just annoying. And even more to my amazement, Mater's unique perspective DOES actually help solve the mystery. He's not just a bumbling idiot gumming up the works, he does actually help.
I was also constantly amused at the imagination that went into Cars-ifying the world. Even little touches like the swanky party in Towkyo (not a typo! ha!), the elevators are giant pistons that come out of the floor. I didn't expect it at all but once I saw it was it was so perfect.
To sum up, I have to say, I enjoyed this movie MORE than the original Cars. Yet at the same time I'll fully agree that the original is a technically superior film in writing and character, but Cars 2 is way more fun. If you go into this with the right attitude, that you're seeing a James Bond movie with Cars, that it's meant to be pure fun and embrace it on that level, there's a lot to love.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it IS shallow. I won't say it's a perfect film on every level cause it's not. But it doesn't deserve the hate it's getting, it's just a fun movie, and there's nothing wrong with that. If it doesn't quite transcend to the levels of brilliance of The Incredibles or Wall:E, that doesn't make it BAD, it suffers only in comparison to other Pixar work, compared to anything else, it rocks. :) Cars 2 (Five-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy)
My son is 2 1/2 years old and loved both Cars and Cars 2. The naysayers, while entitled to their opinions, should probably have gone to the movies with a more light-hearted attitude. While my son did get up halfway through for a potty break, he thoroughly enjoyed this movie to the point that he has seen it four times. Granted, I would not have paid for him to see it four times, as I had movie passes from Toys 'R Us, but I definitely would have paid to take him more than once.
I agree with some of the warnings -- the crushing or exploding of some "good guys" and the lack of character development (I would have liked to know a little more about the other race cars that every toy store is selling in abundance). I do not agree, however, with those individuals who said it was boring or a flop. It is a spoof of Bond movies, with a perspective that kids can enjoy. I would recommend giving it a chance, especially if you have a child that loves all Disney films like my child.
This movie has almost no relation to the first Cars movie except a few cars and Mater. The mood is entirely different and any child 6 or under will be scared out of their wits. It features race after race, shoot 'em ups and explosions over and over and over.
The tribute to Paul Newman's car was a nice touch. The moral of the story was good, but it took way too long to get to it. I thought the movie would never end. It reminded me of adult action movies, which some will love, but not young kids for sure. Parents were taking their kids out of the theatre within 1/2 hour. Our theatre has a particularly loud sound system, which added to the trauma I'm sure. - Blu-ray 3d - Pixar - Blu-ray'

Video Production - video production, wall mount
These are perfect for hiding a number of different cables. I have a power cord, S-Video, RCA, speaker wire AND an HDMI cable and there is still room to spare!! Install anywhere with light duty drywall anchors. Vanco 120624X Custom Two-Piece Dual Gang Bulk Cable Wall Plates (White)
Surprisingly, I could not find anything like this at any local stores. Turned to Amazon and found this. Wanted to run component cables, composite cables, S video cable, Coaxial cable from the receiver to the TV and this wall plate fits them all. Very satisfied with this product.
I bought 2 of these for my 46", wall mounted Dynex. I bought some $2.00 old work gangs from lowes, and used these cover plates. I decided to use these instead of a $125+ wall plate that has all of the connections. I put a power cord extension, 3 HDMI's, cat-5 cable, co-ax(for future reference)and a set of RCA cables. All of these cords fit easily, had more room for anything else I needed to put in. These plates seem a little rigid, I didnt crack on install, but I was careful b/c some wall plates have no elasticity, these have a little.
Easy way to conceal your cords for your wall-mounted TV. I have this running inside the wall into a PVC pipe down to 12" above the floor, where I have a j-box to install these plates. Cheap too!
You can easily cut a small hole and install a box and fish your wires down to a lower box to conceal your wires.
I used a couple of these with the cable cover flipped so it is inside the wall box and the opening is facing up, that gives me a nearly flush way to get my cables into and out of the wall, about 1/2 inch is all that is needed.
Sturdy and it is easy to flip them to any configuration you like if you read the instructions on doing it. - Wall Mount - Wall Plate - Video Production'

Flat Plug - power strip, surge protectors
The most interesting feature of this product is the flat plug. It is very thin and allows us to use contacts that would otherwise be obscured by furniture. Other than that, it is a power strip and it serves its purpose.
We purchased the 8ft cord version to use behind a couch and we were very satisfied, so we decided to order another one to use behind a bookcase. The cord didn't need to be that long, so we ordered the 2.5ft cord version... oh surprise!.. this one does not have the flat plug (which was the whole point of the purchase). It has a regular plug just like the powerstrip we wanted to replace. Of course, we are returning it but I wanted to warn other people ...The website description is somewhat misleading and the fact that the picture for the 2.5ft does not show the plug, does not help.
Beware.. the 8ft version has a flat plug, the 2.5ft version does not. Belkin 6-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with Rotating Plug and 8' Cord
Rotating flat plug is excellent, you can pretty much accomodate any need without blocking plugs, and it really is quite flat. This is just an inexpensive power strip and that's great. I probably have 10 power strips around my house, and who wants to pay a lot for them?
I notice a reviewer complaining about fried equipment. If I had anything expensive to plug in, I'd put it on a Cyberpower or APC UPS with AVR. I don't expect any power strip to do much to protect against big power spikes. Even a high-priced power strip is still just feeding you raw power out of the wall with some sort of switch-to-ground in case something spikey comes along. With the Automatic Voltage Regulating UPS you can get clean power and even Pure Sine Wave output but you won't get that in a cheap little power strip.
Well, it looked great, nice and compact, BUT within one week, a fishy smell developed in the corner where the outlet was. When I researched fishy smells in houses, surprisingly, electrical problems came up. So, when I pulled out the plug (where the surge protector plugs into the wall,) the plug was melting and burning, and, in fact, left its metal prongs in our outlet! So, by unplugging it, our house didn't burn down (a good thing), but now we have an unusable outlet until we get an electrician in (a bad thing.) Buyer beware! Btw, we've used Belkin surge protectors for YEARS in the same outlet with NO PROBLEM; I think it's just this model/design that's faulty.
I will let my pictures do the talking. The Belkin surge protector was plugged directly to the wall outlet. I bought it for the flat plug and was left in the same position since day 1. I do not think over-rotation is the issue. I will also contact Belkin as this is a safety concern.
We were using it in one of our kitchen outlets. We were only using 4 out of the 6 outlets and not even on very high-powered appliances, and after only 3 months of use we noticed that one of the metal prongs had melted into our wall outlet. We almost couldn't pull it out! Luckily all our appliances were ok, but it took us a while and a lot of hassle to have to re-trip our circuit breakers to get the power working again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
I love this design except that there isn't an easily accessible on/off switch. So if you use power strips to turn on/off groups of things frequently, I'd probably use a different model. The flat plug is great though. - Snug-plug - Power Strip - Surge Protector - Surge Protectors'

Corded Telephone - corded telephone, trimline
Okay, so you've got your four-line, 2.4GHz Digital Spread Spectrum cordless phone with 100-number memory and built-in answering machine. And then the power goes out. Or you loose the handset in the couch cushions. Or you forget to charge it. Or you can't even figure out how to turn the darned thing ON. That's what the Trimline is for. It's a cheap, reliable, easy backup phone. The adjustable volume makes this thing really loud, and the backlit keypad is a feature somehow missing in my expensive cordless. And I like having a phone that's tethered, so I always know where to go when it rings. The memory works, but I don't think the people who buy a phone like this will use it much (I have only one number in mine, plus the emergency numbers.) AT&T 210 Trimline Phone with Memory Dialing (Black)
The box says the AT&T 210 Trimline is the best selling phone of all time, and I can see why. It's reliable and doesn't have a bunch of complicated instructions and programming to follow. It has good clear sound, and the handset has adjustable volume, which makes it good for the hearing impaired. Cordless phones seems to be gaining in popularity, but everyone needs at least one corded phone in their house for in case of a power failure. This simple, inexpensive little phone is an excellent choice!
I recently bought this phone for my father who likes his phones simple and easy to use. This telephone by AT&T works better than other, much fancier phones, including two expensive cordless phones with extra handsets, when I had to get a new phone for my new home. The construction of this telephone reflects great engineering; and it's very, very reliable for a price that's very inexpensive these days for a phone. Yes, it is corded; but when all you really need is a basic phone this really does the job.
The phone has back lit buttons which are desirable for those of us who are elderly or in any way sight impaired. The buttons could be brighter but the back lighting does improve upon no lighting. The phone offers well known features including "last number redial," and allows you to set the phone up with your telephone company so that you can use this phone with features like call waiting and three way calling. The phone has a mute feature, adjustable ringer volume and more. These functions never disappoint me. It also has a small knob that lets you switch between touch tone and pulse (rotary) dialing. I use touch tone dialing as most people do. I am particularly impressed that a phone in this price range even has a twelve number memory feature for speed dialing. Cool!
If you want to take a nap without the phone ringing, just turn the ringer off by using the knob at the base of the phone.
I highly recommend this telephone for people who need a basic phone at a cheap price that still has a few "frills" to like including memory speed dialing and call waiting. The extra features give you all you truly need to make this a well constructed telephone at a ridiculously inexpensive price. Sure, the back lighting for the buttons on the phone could be brighter; but overall this is still quite a good phone for the price. The phone takes up little space and it can even be wall mounted to completely save counter space in a kitchen or any other room.
I have two other ATT 210 Trimline phones. I like them a lot. I like the lighted buttons in the handle and the solid construction with the heavy base.
This newer version is very poor in comparison. Only some of the buttons are actually lighted and the lighting is very dim on those that are. Its feels too lightweight, especially the base. The construction quality seems very poor.
I wish I could buy the same phone built in the same way as my older ones.
... and it feels sturdy and dependable. It has all the features I need -- quick dial, redial, lighted keys, tone-or-pulse control, volume-control for the incoming sound, ringer-on-or-off control, three different distinctive rings... and in fact I intend to buy another.
I had no trouble programming long-distance numbers, and even my calling card number, into the phone (yes, the calling card number required two of the pre-sets, one for the phone number and one for the PIN, with a manual pause in between).
When I made an error during the programming phase, I had the same experience as the person who couldn't get it to program. The key is to press (1) program/mute (2) memory (3) the preset assignment (4) the telephone number (5) program/mute.
My intuition kept trying to override and press program/mute or memory in between the preset assignment and the telephone number, which caused the phone to both dial, and then not have retained the programming.
Hopefully if the person with the programming trouble tries once more, it will work.
My ONLY complaint about the phone is that I can't turn the volume quieter than the "normal" setting, the opposite of the phone it's replacing. - Telephone - Trimline - Corded Telephone - Phone'

Measuring Tools - american weigh, kitchen scale
I bought this unit to weigh gold and silver coins and bullion. It's a very sturdy yet compact unit. It fits in a pocket or purse or any bag. It seems to be very well made and the scales are accurate.
When I first got the unit and turned it on, it didn't work. I discovered the batteries were loose. Actually, the batteries should be outside the unit when shipped.
In any case, while I've not owned them long, I'm very pleased with them. The price is exceptional and EZ Sales are just super to deal with.
I was a bit annoyed that the unit did not come with a calibration weight. Be sure and get the 500 gram weight for this model. You won't need it the first time you use the unit, but at some point, you will.
Highly recommended.
Update: After using the scales for checking coin weight for awhile now, I've noticed that it's not totally accurate. Even after calibration. A silver dollar should weigh 31.1 grams. I have them weigh from 31.1 to 31.5. But the troy ounce is always 1oz, as it should be.
There is a margin of error. So if you need extreme accuracy, you'll have to spend a lot more money. But if you want to be just quite close, this will do fine.
I ordered this scale to weigh small parts for RC cars and it has performed excellent. As others have mentioned you need to remove the batteries from the unit before using the scale because the batteries are shrink wrapped in plastic. For the price I didn't expect the build quality to be great so I wasn't shocked at the fairly cheap build quality. The plastic casing feels ok but the battery cover feels cheap and loose. The protective cover for the stainless steel weighing platform is not too bad though. The scale is small about 4" x 3" in size but the weighing platform is decently sized covering about 70% of that area.
In terms of ease of use and accuracy it's a great little scale with a nice sized backlit LCD with an auto shutoff to conserve battey power. To get accurate results you need to place it on a flat non-moving surface because this scale is VERY sensitive. I've found the scale to be very consistent by weighing the same objects many times and the results were always within +/- 0.1 grams for small items that are less than 30g. The scale comes ready to use and calibrated from the factory, however if you ever need to recalibrate this model you will need to use a 500g calibration weight, you cannot use smaller calibration weights because they will not calibrate correctly. Also keep in mind that environmental factors will affect the scale readings such as ambient temperature, strong drafts from ceiling fans and magnetic fields.
This is a precision instrument so should be adequately taken care of eg don't drop it, don't let it sit in direct sunlight, don't keep it in high humidity areas and also store the scale lying flat not vertical. All in all a great low cost and accurate pocket sized scale that is very easy to use.
The price was excellent. The scale works well, and I haven't noticed any of the inconsistencies noted by other reviewers.
The clamshell cover and stainless steel scale plate are excellent features, as is the 'indiglo-style' backlight to the display, which was an unexpected, though very welcome, surprise, and the batteries were included (also a nice surprise these days).
I, too, noticed that the batteries were crooked and the unit didn't work immediately when I opened the package, though this appears to be deliberate to keep the batteries from draining while in transit. Once they are unwrapped (mine were shrink-wrapped, and installed in the scale fully wrapped), the scale works fine.
All in all, it is very nice, quick and easy to use, and took precisely two days to get to me with standard shipping -- astoundingly fast service.
I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
The scale is constructed quite nicely, and the black casing with stainless steel weighing pad adds for a nice polished look. It comes with batteries (which I discarded because they were a nameless Chinese brand) but the thought of adding batteries free of charge is nice. In the battery compartment there is a place to store an extra set of batteries (which I do, it makes it feel weightier/higher quality). It's very slim and is easily stored. Instructions are printed on the inside of the lid which is nice. Another reviewer said not to calibrate it, but I purchased a 500 gram calibrating weight and did it just to see if it would work okay and it did. The scale said 500.6 grams before I calibrated it, so it was fairly accurate to begin with and most likely won't require calibration for a while. Good looks, accurate and repeatable results, excellent price, what more could you want in a 600 gram scale?
When it was working it was flaky. It would weigh the exact same thing out differently . (Margin for error was about .2 of a gram for every 5 grams on the scale.) After just a few uses, It said the batteries were dead. (came with some cheap generic chinese batteries) When I opened up the compartment, one of said batteries had been leaking battery acid all over the inside of the scale. Needless to say all the metal parts were rusted out and it never turned on again. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A SUB PAR PRODUCT. - American Weigh - Jewelry - Digital - Coins - Kitchen Scale - Pocket Scale'

Field Recorder - recorder, professional
Update Notes: 10/2010: Another buyer asked me to look into the power draw for battery usage reasons. After using the TWO independent battery conservation modes on the 661 (turn off the leds and minimize the big display from 5 rows to just one row of data) the jumpy current waveform settled down to 315 mA DC +/- 15 mA. For battery usage, you can use a 315mA draw for conservative recording power usage estimates. So that perspective users of the 661 can get a feel for it I've uploaded 5 most often seen sample screenshots with notes in the pictures section above. The notes cover what each screen does and how the function keys work. The instruction manual shows you how to wire pushbuttons and resistors to the 4 terminal remote plug which is VERY hard to find (most are 3 terminal - left/right/ground) - you can use the 3 terminal because the only 2 points you need are ground and the tip, but here is the 4 pin version for $0.28 on amazon 6FT 3.5 mm to 3 RCA AV Camcorder Video Cable Sony JVC 6 with this cable and the instructions in the manual you can build your own remote with LEDs and extended switches beyond the marantz remote from the PMD660 Marantz RC600 Mic Mount Remote Control which could be operated by computer or other automated systems. Basically the 4 terminal plugs are becomming more common now. The resistor values chosen for pushbutton operation are common values and easy to find.
UPDATE 8-2010:
I've put alot of hours on my PMD661, made a custom case for it, and now I must report a MINOR negative about a whole class of products (the 661, the H4n, certain flashlights, etc)
While doing flashlight testing on the Fenix TK-40, 'Menace' pointed out that it seemed to drain AA batteries without being used AT ALL while a similar light, the TK30 did not. I confirmed his findings using an inline ampmeter - a small amount of power was flowing with the light turned off. As I measured other products that used the AA NiMH cell, the problem proved to be a bigger issue than just one flashlight.
This "trickle" power is just like your car - leave it in a garage at the airport for 30 days and don't expect the battery to be full when you return. The amount is small, but placing a plastic strip between a battery and the spring then routing it out of the battery compartment will stop the power from flowing. The "off" power is higher on the PMD661 because it has a timer and can turn itself on for play or record functions with preprogrammed times which other recorders can not do.
Update 9-12-2009 - I just returned from a cruise ship using the 661. I used a Canon hs-10 avchd camera for capturing the main stage video and the 661 to plug into the ship's mixing board for audio. The ship's audio engineer was excited to see the 661 and hapily pulled out an XLR patch cord set to give me the house mix line level out, which was recorded in the same lossless format (24bit/48 khz) used by the camcorder audio making synchronization in adobe premiere pro a breeze. The final benefit was hearing the show audio as it left the mixing board to the amps instead of being picked up by the camera set on a tripod in the audience full of echo and laughter, clapping etc. The final production to blu-ray disc sounded like I was right on stage with the camera. The marantz ALC circuit performed better than expected and prevented digital clipping while maximizing dynamic range. End of edit.
[ACTUAL PRODUCT REVIEW BEGINS HERE]
When Marantz added a line level XLR input that bypassed the microphone preamps as opposed to just a mic level input in the 660 (prior model) I finally jumped at it. Since I work alot of mixing boards I have access to the final stereo mixdown at line level voltages. Whats the big deal? Recording at line level gives you 20dB more signal to noise - thats 100 times better for those who don't speak dB - compared to mic level xlr inputs. Also recorders that put an attenuator in front of microphone amplifiers tend to be noisy - marantz is not built this way (the H4n I use for MIC level recordings is - it is not well suited to line level input because it must attenuate the signal to 0.8% before recording it) If you look at your dvd player at home all the outputs are line level simply to get rid of noise. With such a fabulous recorder, why in the world would you want 100 times more noise in your recordings?
There are many other factors Marantz did that made the 661 the optimum professional recorder to get - the display is bright and easy to read under all lighting conditions, they used a 1/4" headphone jack so the little 3.5mm headphones wouldn't pull out at the worst moment (another pro move) - and they improved the case quality. There is also a digital input for people who are 100% digital already, however it stops at 44.1/48 KHz sampling.
Given these features, the PMD-661 sits head and antlers above all the other compact recorders out there offering professional connectivity at an economical price. It's also fully customizable - the bright display is dimmable through 8 steps for indoor club use at night, and it features dual rca line level outputs for analog playback. About the only thing I would like to have seen would be a worldclock input for synchronizing analog recordings to digital cameras, but the size of the bnc connector would have nixed that option in this handheld product.
Prices are starting to drop - I bought in early but you can save 50 bucks off the original price. Good job Marantz (from a former dedicated tascam fan!)
PROS:
+2 levels of power saving (dual VU meter cutoff and 5 line down to 1 line OLED display) - both are independent of each other
+runs on AC power through a 5V converter and also runs off USB power when doing file transfers
+Easy to create multiple folders and levels within them using the 4-way rocker buttons for character selection - in fact naming your settings is also easy.
+remote control is customizable with just resistors and switches if you know how to solder and need to operate it by computer or other external devices
+XLR ins are well designed and quiet compared to other products on the market.
+1/8" line level TRS input as well lets you use a 3.5mm trs male to male jumper for recording computer outputs
+digital input as well [COAX] - I purchased a Cables to Go 40019 Optical to Coaxial Digital Audio Converter (Black) when needed for $13
+2 ea built in mics as the 4th source
+tripod mount
+pre-record buffer captures 3 seconds of audio prior to entering record
+standard SD card format can be ejected and read on a pc quickly instead of doing USB transfers
+easily updates firmware when improvements are made
+12 hour runtime on 2700 mah nimh cells with full power conservation recording mp3 from XLR in (tested)
+When batteries are exhausted it closes all files and shuts down politely.
+internal stereo speakers can be used to monitor recordings or 1/4" headphones
+rugged, well built design including the battery door which has a large latch to prevent accidental opening or loss
+ALC design is well engineered and not noticable in recordings - seems like it uses fuzzy logic to prevent clipping.
+coaxial manual level adjustment allows for separate l/r level difference and ganged level adjustment of both simultaneously
Cons
-timer based recording draws more "off" power - inserting an insulator made from a plastic battery case easily prevents draining batteries until you need to start if you do not use the timer functions.
-can not entirely shut off the display - most minimal power usage is to shut off LED vu meter and just have one line of text in the OLED window with essential data on it.
-lacks a 1/8" mic in but has a 1/8" stereo TRS line in instead so all mic level voltages must go in via XLRs
-4 input sources but only 3 personalities means one input won't be used without reconfiguring (usually digital in)
-lacks digital out (other than USB and removing SD card) Marantz PMD661 Portable SD Recorder - Professional - Field Recorder - Recorder - Best'

Canon Digital Camera - sdhc, digital camera accessory
There are some things to consider before buying this particular card or any other 32gb SDHC card on the market:
1. This is NOT an ideal card for a digital SLR like a D80, D90, Rebel XT, etc... That is because it is a class 4 device. The class of a SDHC cards has to do with how fast they read and write files, not how much storage they have. For a digital SLR, you should purchase a class 6 SDHC card most of the time. Class 6 cards will allow you to take 'bursts' of photos and not be limited by the card's capacity to write them. Also class 4 cards are slower reading data, meaning they will take longer to upload files to your computer. Upload speed is convenient, especially when loading large batches of files.
2. This card has far more storage than most people will need for their digital camera. Unless you like to keep all your photos on a SDHC card and never move them to your computer, or are a high volume photographer, there is very little need for more than about 8gb of storage space for most caeras. The possible exception to this is if you have a professional SLR that shoots files in the 16-20mb range--but if you do, you'll likely want a class 6 card anyway. If all you intend to use this card for is a digital camera, save yourself a lot of money and buy a PNY 8GB SDHC Card. If you're worried about running out of space on a vacation, buy a few of them. Otherwise you run the risk of having 'all your eggs in one basket.' If one card fails, you lose all your pictures instead of only a portion of them.
This card is fantastic for use in a video camcorder capable of writing to an SDHC card. (Check with the manual first to insure that a class 4 card will be fast enough first). It is also perfect as extra storage for an ultra portable computer or net book like the Asus EEE pc. Another great application would be as added storage to a personal media player or MP3 player equipped with a SDHC slot such as the Cowon D2.
There are other good 32gb SDHC cards on the market, some at cheaper price points than the Kingston card. IMHO, brand matters very little with something like a SDHC card, since they all are made pretty much the same way. None of the brands currently offering them (Transcend, PNY, Kingston) have high fail rates with their other products, so I believe they are all pretty similar. What you decide to buy will depend on whether you trust a particular brand, or who has the lowest price. All of them will work equally well. Kingston 16 GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card SD4/16GB
PREFACE:
I bought this card for extra disk space on my Asus EeePC netbook. I needed as much space as possible to supplement the very small SSD hard drive. I needed something with large capacity and relatively fast file transfer time.
PROS:
It shares the largest SD capacity on the market today with few others (Panasonic, Sandisk, and PNY) and is a quality name that I have had a good history with in the past. Its file transfer time is similar to the SSD drive in my machine so it basically acts as a second SSD for me at less than a quarter of the price!
CONS:
Its not the cheapest 32gb SD card(PNY) nor the fastest(Panasonic) but its good quality with a decent transfer rate.
CONCLUSION:
I'm very happy with its performance and capacity. I would like to see the price come down a bit, but that's the price of getting electronics of this caliber.
That's my input, take it or leave it :)
Excellent for the price. I give it a 4/5 because it performs slower than expected from a C4 SDHC card. I also have a Sandisk EIII 2GB. Although it doesn't have the class ratings because it's not SDHC, the Sandisk outperforms the Kingston in both read/write.
My test scenario: Using a Nikon D80 taking 6 shots continuously. The Kingston took considerably longer to write contents from the Nikon D80 buffer.
If you're looking for a high speed card in a similar scenario, then look elsewhere. However, if you want a good card and no particular need for speed, then I recommend getting.
I didnt realize how fast the point and shoot cameras are getting sooo many megapixels until I started looking for a good one for my mom... This card is no good for a 12 megapixel camera! It takes way too long to save each picture slowing down how fast you're able to take consecutive pictures! Go for the Sandisk extreme cards and dont look back!
I only have SLR cameras, and use the San Disk extreme cards because speed is crucial! Dont cheap out on a card after buying a nice camera, or you'll be sorry! Thats the first thing i noticed when showing her how to use her new Canon Point and Shoot camera is how SLOWWWWWWWW it took to save each photo before I could take another.. If waiting a few seconds between each picture is a non-issue, buy all means save some money and buy this card.
Bottom line: You're wasting your money buying this card to use in a high resolution point and shoot, which they all seem to be now days. Just too slow! - Sdhc - Memory Card - Sd Card - Digital Camera Accessory'

Digital Photography - digital, camera bag
Love the large photo size (12 Meg) ...
Downside, It is very simple. Which is a possitive to many people. Simply press half-way down, wait for it to fine tune the focus, push all the way down, and you have wonderful pictures. It is not as simple as other cameras to adjust the settings to fine-tune photos, but overall a great, easy to use, camera. Kodak EasyShare C143 Digital Camera (Blue)
I purchased this camera for my 70 year old mother. She is not a professional photographer, but she is a grandmother. This is perfect for her since it is so user friendly. Each function of the camera is written out for her on the screen. We are both very happy with this camera.
After using countless point and shoot cameras over the years. This Kodak camera is by far the best yet. It's easy to use, great auto mode. And the flash is programable and doesn't wash out the picture. Nice large screen to view the pics. Kodak has a winner in this one.
This is definitely a great camera for the price. I was sort of reluctant at first, because I bought this camera online, on sale and without trying it. The pictures that you see online don't really do it any justice, either. I'm pretty impressed, though.
The only thing I could really complain about would be the battery life. 2 AAs only lasted me half a day (BUT keep in mind - I am very snap-happy), so I'm considering just buying rechargeable batteries.
Over all, a wonderful investment for me and I couldn't be much happier with it.
I got this camera for a great deal. I love the color. I had read other reviews and was skeptical, but I'm glad I bought it! The screen is a great size and very bright. There are so many different options for taking pictures, such as a firework option, self portrait option, and flower option, among others. I haven't even explored them all. If you don't want to deal with all of the options though, there is a smart capture button that just switches to what the camera thinks is best. I haven't played around with the Share button yet and actually don't really care to use it. The only problem that I would say that I have with this camera is that the zoom isn't very good. I wish that it had more digital zoom, because most of the time it doesn't have any. Another, smaller complaint that I have, is that the camera just doesn't feel well made. It's light which is nice, but it feels much more plastic-y than my old HP camera.
To address complaints that others had, the battery life really isn't bad. Use rechargeable batteries, they obviously work the best. Also, for those saying there isn't enough space on the camera to hold pictures or that they get lost, use an SD card. $13 at Best Buy and you can save thousands of pictures.
Overall, this is a great purchase for the price for anyone who just wants to snap day to day photos.
This is an excellent camera for the money. I am a little embarrassed to say the pics taken outside or in well lit indoor areas rival those of my $800 digital SLR. Flash pics also fine for subjects 6-8 feet away or closer, and surprisingly good macro shots. Has features normally associated with much higher priced point-and-shoots like in-camera editing, exposure bracketing, 3 frames/sec continuous shooting, face detection and switching between internal memory (32mb) and memory card - if card fills up, you can still get 7-8 shots by switching to internal memory. I like the fact that it takes AA batteries since they are easy to find in a fix. I can also use rechargeable AAs or lithium AAs, which seem to last forever. Nice bright screen and focuses well in moderately lit areas. Seems to be a sturdier build than previous Kodak entry level cameras (nowhere to go but up), and Easy Transfer system works well. Potential downsides for some users: 1-Can't hear sound on video playback until vids are transferred to computer (but vids are in AVI format, a plus for windows users). 2-If you're looking for high ISO low-light shots forget it...you won't get that from any camera within $100 of this price point. You can set the ISO to 1600 but you won't like the results. Forget the high ISO and use a tripod.
I really enjoy carrying this little camera around with me. Originally a gift from my bf, I thought it wouldn't be that impressive. However, I was really surprised at how responsive it is. Simple to use and best of all it doesn't confuse me with so many buttons. Want something simple? get this. I like to take a lot of different shots of everything I see and this is just the perfect companion for those of us who like to point and shoot. The only downside to this camera is the fact that it uses AA batteries, however my bf got me a pair of kodak's rechargeable batteries and kodak charger. Put them all together and it was just a perfect combination!
I purchased this camera for my autistic son to use on a trip. After an afternoon of taking funny pictures of each other he got the hang of using it. Teaching him how to put his pictures on the computer was easy. His connection to the internet was a little lacking so I was unable to set it so his pictures post directly to Facebook but that is not the reason I bought the camera. This lived up to it's review. I've owned several Kodaks over the years and purchased this camera on the name. I was not disappointed. - Camera Bag - Digital Camera - Digital - Camera Case'

Hand Held Steam Cleaner - steam cleaning, steamer
I purchased this about a month ago to sanitize places that my Haan could not... I read lots of reviews and looked at several handheld steam cleaners and decided on this one... This is so worth the money... The attachments are wonderful and the steam seems endless... I originally bought this to help clean and sanitize my daughter's toys, exersaucer, jumperoo and many more... Not only does it wipe away all the dirt in the tiny crevices, but it works everywhere in the house! I used one of the attachments to clean and sanitize my couch cushions.. not only does it leave it dry to the touch but wow did alot of dirt come off! Comes with a window sweege which works absolute wonders.. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a great steam cleaner with lots of attachments! It has lots of steam and very powerful! Dirt Devil PD20005 Hand Held Steamer
The Tiny Mighty is what it should be called. It is smaller than I thought it would be but, due to fine onstruction, it works really well. This is no "steam Jenny" I am used to using years ago, which supplied almost unlimited steam. But, the DIRT DEVIL steamer does do a really good job. The attachments are small (compared to a vacuum cleaner) but, are adequate to do the jobs I have done. You will be impressed how well it melts cooked foods off the walls of your microwave. A neighboring apartment contracted bed bugs. I bought this to be on the defensive. I steamed the threshold and the bed and vacuum the place to make sure none (if any) should walk down the hall to my place. Steam is a non chemical way to kill those pests. I'm ready. I'll be steaming every two weeks until I find out otherwise about that apartment's situation. Nice product, DIRT DEVIL.
Love this i am a clean freak, this is the best the steam is super strong! I steam my clothes instead of ironing. Steam my stove everything. The cord broke on this and the customer service from this buyer is amazing, there sending me a new wire. Very Happy would buy from them again!!!
There are a few design flaws with this Model, 1) , the steam button should be on the handle stead of the container which is heavy and you will need to be carrying it a lot of the time, 2) the steam green button will go red after 5 seconds which means you need to rest in between. But it does work well, it melts dirt , mold , EVERYTHING, it is awesome and I will be purchasing a steam cleaner for the floor also but I wish this one was designed a bit better.
I don't react well to chemical cleaning solvents and perfumes. Recently I purchased this item and when I first used it I found myself entirely satisfied with both the various uses and the sheer power such a little steamer such as this one put out. After five or so cleanings the main hose sprung a leak and I contacted the customer service department to find out what I could do about it.
Boy was I happy with the result. The person on the other end spoke very clearly, apologized for the inconvenience of the defective part, didn't even need it returned, and sent out a replacement within the week.
From the customer service support to the product itself, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Steamer to anyone out there.
Quite simply the best $45 I have spent in a while. I bought this primarily to treat a minor bedbug infestation in my bedroom. It pumps out a good amount of steam at a high temperature(I'm assuming somewhere between 170-200F). The steam is hot enough to kill any creature instantly on contact. Used this to treat my mattress and carpet in conjunction with some bug pesticide. Will be using this for the next couple weeks to ensure all the bugs have been killed. I highly recommend this to someone who is looking to treat a minor infestation in your house. Would have preferred the release button to be on the hose but that's just my preference.
So far I've cleaned walls, some wood surfaces and windows in my home. It does a pretty good job as long as what you are cleaning isn't too filthy. It seemed to do the best on walls. For the most part, everything came clean but there were a few areas where it still took some good old fashioned elbow grease.
The steamer steams well, but sputters water out a lot. I think it cleans well so the sputtering doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the design flaw --- the push button for the steam in on the handle; it's hard to hold the device, push the button and use the hose attachment at the same time.
This is the 3rd steam cleaner I purchased. I wasn't going to purchase another after my 2nd steamer broke but when I saw how much it costs, I figured I would buy it. This works as well if not better than the more expensive ones. There is almost no surface or thing I wouldn't use it to clean. Just wish the water reservoir was bigger on it as well as the others I owned. It is light enough to carry around. - Dirt Devil - Love It - Steam Cleaning - Steamer'

Xoom Tablet Accessories
It's a dock for your Xoom, it looks cool enough and has built in speakers that are an upgrade over the Xoom's built in speakers.
Setup: Very easy, just un-box it, plug it in and you're ready to go.
Pros: It feels sturdy and holds the Xoom well, you can easily type on the Xoom and the viewing angle is very natural. It has an hdmi output, power connector on the back, on the front there's a cut out so you can still speak and the Xoom's mic will pick up on your voice.
Cons: No USB out, no included HDMI cable.
It's not a bad dock if you want to put it next to a TV and use the HDMI feature, or maybe on a coffee table or in the kitchen to use the built in speakers to play out some Pandora or other music. Motorola Speaker HD Dock for MOTOROLA XOOM (Motorola Retail Packaging)
Overall, I am happy with the Motorola Speaker Dock for the Xoom. It fits the Xoom great, with or without the protective gel cover on the back.
It did take me a couple attempts to learn how to place the Xoom on the dock. I can see how it could damage the dock if you have it at the wrong angle and press down too hard. Once you learn the correct angle to use, it slides onto the dock very easily.
I was a little disappointed to see that the HDMI output on the back of the dock is not a fullsize HDMI slot. It is the same mini HDMI as on the Xoom itself, meaning you will still need to have a cable that goes from the smaller form factor the the normal. It seems to me like it would have been easy enough for the dock to include a regular size HDMI output. A USB output would have also been nice.
The speaker is decent sound quality. It's not great but it's better than the built in Xoom speakers. A headphone jack on the front of the dock would have been nice too.
What I do like about the dock, is that it holds the Xoom at a good angle, and charges the unit while you're using it. It pairs well with the bluetooth keyboard. I'm using both right now as I write this review.
I bought this not knowing how it would fit into the Xoom. Works great and keeps the Xoom positioned right where I wanted it.
I also bought the wireless keyboard. It is terrific too.
I am thrilled with entire purchase!
The dock is well made. Sturdy and gives good support to the Xoom whilst it's docked. It comes with a power supply that connects to the base and also two 'face plate' that you can use for either with or without a silcone cover.
The three biggest let down and hence the 2 stars rating is that:
a) as a sound "HD" accessory,.. the sounds component is awful! very tin-ny with the low frequency (bass) being a real let down. Even with the 'bass boost' which is just a hole cut out on the back does not help. I wasn't expecting anything like the Bose Sounddock that you can get for the ipad/pods, but come-on Motorola, this is a disgrace after doing such a wonderful job on the Xoom. For the amount of money i paid for this, i expected something that's much better sounding.
b) docking the Xoom is very difficult. There are two sockets plus sprung loaded pins that protrude making it really hard to locate and mate properly. There is the dot on the front bottom center of the Xoom and docking station, but all it does is it gets you roughly in the right place. You still have to wiggle the Xoom around a bit until it falls in. I'm very afraid that if you are too rough, you will eventually damage the fragile feeling sockets on the Xoom. Just looking closely at the Xoom sockets, I can see that it's worn away alot only after about 1 months' use.
c) the power supply buzzes... i use the Xoom as an alarm clock and so it's on my beside table docked. Once i turn the lights out and your hearing becomes more sensitive, you can hear the power supply's high pitch buzzing which can be very irritating if you are trying to fall asleep. It's got to a stage where I disconnect the power supply at night.
Other thoughts: I haven't used the mini-hdmi, but as others have said, there's plenty of real-estate, so they could have put in a full sized HDMI socket.... it's just another bit of cable you must have if you ever want to connect it to a TV, etc.
In summary, I'd steer clear of this if you want some good sounds. It's not cheap and the sound quality is worse than an average cheap computer speaker you can get at your local computer store.
The audio is great. I have no complaints with that at all. My complaint is that it is hard to actually dock the Xoom to the dock. Also, the power cable is really long and I actually dropped it on cement because the cable fell apart (two pieces). It still works are there are no scratches on it thankfully. Overall.. I'm glad I purchased it.
Outstanding value. Sound quality was very pleasant surprise. With proper insert easy to place or remove xoom. Much more than I expected. Highly recommend. Very pleased with purchase, especially thru Amazon.'

This is a great little scale! I purchased this scale to weigh the packages so I could print postage from home. For the price it can't be beat! I had originally looked at one that would sync with my Endica account but they were way out of this university students budget.
So I took a chance on this handy dandy little guy and he has yet to let me down. Packed with much care the package arrived at my door promptly and it great condition. Unpacking I found that they had even been kind enough to include a battery. (nice for back up-but mine stays plugged in) I have been quite pleased with my purchase it works great every time and since I began my side business of selling off old textbooks I no longer use it has been well used and dead accurate (nothing has been returned & no reports of postage owed). It tucks away nicely in my desk cabinet out of the way when not in use and is built sturdily enough that I can move it about with ease and not worry about anything falling part. I would (and have) recommend this easy to use and store scale. I consider it one of my smartest buys this year. Cordless Hedge Trimmer - cordless, trimmer
These batteries only last one season with full charges, after that you will only get 20 minutes on a charge. I have four batteries each with a different longevity. Also, they do not hold a charge when on a shelf, you have to plan ahead and charge the one you will use that day. A second one will not be fully charged by the time thr first one dies. They work good when brand new but will grow weaker during the season. Black & Decker FSB18 FireStorm 18-Volt NiCad Slide Style Battery
Actually, these batteries work harder and longer than the batteries that came with the unit. Don't know why. Both sets of batteries are brand new, but the batteries from Amazon's distribution hold a charge longer. Very Pleased, in fact I may buy a few more from Amazon for those extra heavy duty use jobs.
Save yourself. It is too late for me. I am addicted to these batteries. I have several tools and some garden equipment that all use the same interchangeable batteries. I have been absolutely corrupted. If these animals are supposed to ware out it has not happened yet. I have not counted but I guess I have not reached the 500 Th charge. Mean time I also have not found my self waiting on the charger to complete a single project from refurbishing furniture to building a fence.
Battery used with tree limb pruning chain saw. Provides adequate power for 30-45 minutes. Cuts through thick branches. Recommend spare battery in case the battery used is partially discharged at time of use and to avoid delay of recharging.
I'm in the process of building a deck and had tons of screws to drive to hold down the deck boards. Well, things started off great but then went downhill fast. These batteries just aren't made for constant use. After a while I found myself sitting there waiting for the batteries to recharge. I was switching off between 2 of the 18v batteries and another B&D drill with 2 12v batteries. Ended up borrowing 2 more 18v batteries from a neighbor to get me going again while mine recharged. As an FYI, one of my 18v batrteries is the silver series which are supposed to be more powerful. Save your money, they're not not any better than the regular ones.
As one reviewer indicated the interchangeability of the batteries makes the entire Black and Decker 18 volt line very addictive. I find myself looking for tools that work with the batteries.
As for the batteries themselves the big positive is the interchangeability. There are two significant negatives. The first negative is that the charger that comes with the batteries and the tools is a dumb charger that does not tell you if it is complete or not. This is annoying. The second issue is the batteries are slightly anemic. Not bad since they are interchangeable but still a little more power and longevity would be nice. Don't worry though. Black and Decker has a silver series of the batteries that purports to be 40% longer life.
Overall a great system and one I am please with.
The firestorm version of this 18v battery is much better and lasts longer than the older version. You have to make sure though that you use the recommended charger and not the older Blacker & Decker chargers because you won't get the full charge. I have a pretty big backyard with lots of trimming and shrubs and one battery can last through trimming the entire yard where previously it took two!
I brought this battery to replace the original battery which came with the Black&Decker saw kit. The original lasted about 1 year. This battery didn't last a month of regular home use. Very disappointing. - Black And Decker - Trimmer - Battery Packs - Cordless'
