Kayak Inflatable - inflatable kayaks, kayaking
This item arrived with a broken oar. I immediately called INTEX to ask for a replacement and was told that they don't replace parts that arrive broken. It was obvious that the oar was packed broken as the box was very well packed, the kayak was nicely rolled and very tight in the box with the oars in the middle of the tightly packed items so there was no way the oar was broken during shipping. They want me to return the entire item to amazon (mind you, this item weighs nearly 40 lbs. so the cost of shipping won't be cheap) Not to mention that this was a birthday present for my son so I hate to send the item back and wait for a whole new box when all the company would have to do is send me a replacement oar. After discussing this for 15 minutes with the tech rep at INTEX, I was told he would have a manager call me the next day....I knew at the time that no manager would be returning my call and I was correct. This item is ok and my son loves it but I won't order anything else from INTEX. I'm still undecided as to what I am going to do. I don't want to have to purchase replacement oars on a brand new item that arrived defective but I was told from INTEX that this was all they would do for me. So order at your own risk. Intex Challenger K2 Kayak
My package received was exactly as described with everything included. I thought what a bargain! BUT, then we took it out to the harbor. It looks good & floats great! Unfortunately that is about it. There is very little tracking or directional control. You just kinda end up going round & round in circles or floating away with the wind. My husband later pointed out that the skegs (bottom fins) are in the middle. In the middle? Any surfer knows skegs belong towards the rear. We thought about it, maybe we can saw off the skegs & buy new ones to attach towards the rear. It has to be some kind of mistake, I have never seen skegs in the middle of any kind of flotation device before. Very unfortunate because otherwise the boat itself is well made, looks good & would work much better with proper skeg placement. This would be okay if you just wanted to float around in a pond, you don't want to take it out any further than that, you would quickly get frustrated. I guess now I'll be testing Amazon's return policy.....Refund processing was great, good job Amazon! Took one week from UPS drop-off to refund.
Well,My partner and I bought this item back in march of this year.On the plus side,it is easy to inflate, and deflate.Boston valves on it help immensely. The tote bag is great, and it has an air pump that works very well.
As to steering it,the item has little efficacy as to what you would want in a kayak. It is very difficult to steer, and was very irritating to try to keep a straight line in paddling.
I do not recommend this if you want something like a canoe to handle though shorelines, while on a camping holiday. It does not work well. You will be dissappointed.
I ordered this from Amazon, it comes with only one back seat and one back rest for the front (not amazon's fault, the product does not come with two seats as described). I am kind of short so it is very uncomfortable to paddle sitting on the floor at front. It also does not track well, especially if there is some breeze over the pond or lake or river. I would not recommend this to anybody
I've also received the wrong item from this company. After a full week of phone calls and emails they have yet to send me a refund or a shipping label. In fact they encouraged me to ignore the weight restriction. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy this, especially from Backstore.
I purchased the Intex Challenger K2 Model #68306E, but what they shipped in the 68306E Box was last years model #68306 without the Cargo Net and a lighter weight restriction. Customer service was helpful in processing the return and new order quickly and I am awaiting the replacement. But I find it disturbing that Amazon would allow a vendor to ship out an older model in a new labeled box. I saw the same feed back on another order, the person received the older model. It appears that they are trying to get rid of their old stock by decusing it in a new box with the new Model number printed on it. After one occurrence of this problem, I would think Amazon would have put a stop to it. Make sure you verify what you are receiving. I will see if the replacement has the same issues or is correct and will follow up..... - Kayak - Inflatable Kayaks - Kayaking - Kayaks'

Bluetooth Car Speaker - bluetooth car kits, bluetooth car speaker
I was looking for a bluetooth speaker unit to replace an old Motorola headset. I was tired of always charging the headset and I rarely used it outside of the car, so when I found this car kit I thought it would be perfect. It uses a standard micro USB port to charge (the same as my phone) which is handy, and the solar panel idea made a lot of sense. I charged the unit initially using USB, and then stuck it on my windshield below the tinted area at the top, sort of behind my rear view mirror. It's small enough that it is discreet; the controls are simple and easy to use.
Pairing my phone was very easy and it has had no problems connecting each time since then. Incoming sound quality is good and the speaker is plenty loud. People I talk to also report that I sound clear on their end, so I think the noise cancellation works well.
As far as the effectiveness of the solar charging, it seems to be working although it's hard to say - I've only had it for two weeks. After the initial USB charge, I haven't had to charge the unit again via USB in that time. We've only had a few sunny days lately, but it does seem like the unit must be getting some power from the solar panel; I always use Bluetooth for my daily commute and I have yet to receive a low battery warning. Of course, your mileage may vary depending on the amount of actual talking you do while in the car.
Overall, I've found this car kit to fit my needs extremely well. IOGEAR Solar Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit GBHFK231 (Black)
I purchased this to replace a Jabra bluetooth handsfree speaker that was being redeployed to another vehicle. This IOGear unit is smaller than the Jabra but the interface is very similar. One difference is that the Jabra will announce the phone # of the incoming call. This unit does not have that feature. Also the sound quality on the Jabra is a little clearer and louder. At the highest setting, the volume on this unit is adequate but you may need to turn the volume setting on your phone to it's highest setting. I have an iPhone 3G and the highest setting was required to get a reasonable volume. I don't think this would work well in a moving convertible with the top down.
This was easy to pair with two phones simultaneously which is nice if you have 2 drivers for the vehicle as I do for my SUV. This eliminates the need to pair the device with each driver's phone when they use the car. You pair it once and just turn it on when in the car and either or both phones are paired automatically. You must read the instructions closely to make sure the multi-pairing setting is selected first.
The Visor clip does not work with a thick visor (Visors with lighted Mirrors built in are usually thicker). The suction mount is OK but not legal in all states. Check your state laws for compliance. Tech support said they do not offer a solution for clipping the unit to the thicker Visors. The suction cups is holding up so far but I am worried about the unit falling off as outside weather conditions and temperature change. IOGear does provide an extra set of suction cups and the unit seems robust enough to survive a fall but it might be better to remount it periodically.
So far the Solar charging seems to be working well. Also because of the compact size, the unit is easy to travel with.
The Volume and Visor clip issues prevent me from giving this 5 stars. Also, it would be nice if it announced the # of the incoming call as the Jabra does. If you don't want to hassle with charging monthly (my Jabra lasted over a month on a charge in typical usage) then this is a nice solution. If you want the best voice quality and added features, I would recommend the Jabra for about $10 more as an alternative.
Had this about a month - the solar feature attracted me since I never knew when there was any power left in my last unit. Actually, it's the same with this - how much charge does it have left?
Charging: I did the first charge via USB, and once in between, during this four week period - and every couple days put it into the sun. Have used it more than a dozen times or more on calls, and it keeps working. A previous review said the red led is supposed to light when solar charging, but I've never seen it, and not sure it's supposed to do that... only lights when plugged into USB charging. Given that a full solar charge takes more than 10 hours - the limited time I place it in the sun just might be enough to keep it going. Bottom line: not sure if the solar charging really works, but I only did the USB charge after a couple weeks because I got nervous. And you do have to turn the unit over to charge, and then back again to use it so the speaker and mic are toward you. Seems to take a little more fussing to use it fully.
I like the size... and the capability to handle two phones. People seem to hear me fine. The speaker volume is not the best - I have a Storm 2 and need to have it at full volume, with the Iogear at full volume, to really hear it. For me, this is the weakest point. I don't have a noisy car, but I have to kill the radio, roll up the windows and really pay attention. Or, I'm just gettin' old! - Handsfree - Bluetooth Car Kits - Bluetooth Speakerphone - Bluetooth Car Speaker'

I was hesitant about ordering this because the images available online are limited so I wasn't sure if it would suit my needs. There weren't any side view images online. But based on the price range and dimensions, I decided to give it a shot. I wanted something I could mount on my wall so it needed to be pretty lightweight and preferably slim. I put it in my bedroom hoping the sound quality would carry to my outside patio. I placed it on the wall farthest from the patio and it sounds great. Very easy to mount, its about 3" once mounted. The tray that you doc your ipod on can be pushed back in with the ipod in it. It doesn't have radio or cd player, but I honestly don't use those enough to care. I'm thrilled about this purchase. If you want a streamlined wall mounting ipod dock, this is awesome. This isn't my first ipod speaker doc but it's definitely my favorite. Acoustic Research AR5100 - Speaker system with Apple dock for iPod - 30 Watt (total)
I bought this because earbuds and even upgraded earbuds still make my iPod g5 nano sound tinny. I was looking for something practical to plug it into that would allow me to hear my iTunes in all their dynamic glory. This product fits the bill! Here are its good points:
a. Design is stylish, and it either stands or can be attached to a wall.
b. Sound is surprisingly good. I'm picky, too. Decent dynamic range, and every type of music I've played sounds good so far on this item. Jazz, classical, world, pop, rock, folk, country, alternative, dance... so far, so good.
c. It can be connected to my flat screen TV, and the result is a **significant** upgrade in sound quality-- hooray! A dual use product. And though I haven't tried it, it looks like there's a video out jack (L, R, V), so that you can hypothetically view your nano videos on your TV! There is also a miniplug IN jack, which is what I'm using to import TV sound.
d. It charges my iPod!
e. It's a snap to assemble-- I didn't even need the directions.
f. It has a remote. It's a tiny remote. I love that.
Here are its not-as-good points:
a. As others have pointed out, the volume reverts to the preset factory level (louder than I like it) whenever you turn it on. It would be a far better product if it reverted to the last set volume level. However, this is not a reason not to buy it.
b. No bass or treble controls, and no equalizer-- you have to adjust the sound on the iPod itself.
c. No adjustment for differing sound levels in original music files-- some songs are too soft, others are too loud-- but that is iPod's fault, not the speaker dock's.
d. It was a bit larger than I expected... but the sound is worth it. This is not an easily portable unit, if that is what you're looking for.
e. I wish it were energy star rated. That's important for me, and for the earth. My TV and DVD player are both energy star rated.
f. You need to unplug the sound IN jack for the iPod to work properly. If you don't, the docked iPod won't produce sound, so this is an either/or situation. I'm sure there's a work-around; it would have been nice to have a switch or a solution on the remote. Plugging and unplugging could get to be a pain, over time.
That's it! The product comes with a bunch of adapters for the slide out iPod deck, but my nano fits it just fine as-is. I would buy this product again, given a do-over, and I recommend it to others.
Just got it today and so far I am blown away by the quality of sound!!! After I use it for a week I will write a more in depth review.
Update: March 2nd, 2010
It has been 3 months, and I am still very happy with the performance. Here is a tip, make sure when you watch movies to set your music EQ setting to Bass Booster". I have recommeneded this to all me friends.
I purchased this stereo under the impression it would be compatible with wireless speakers I had bought earlier this year from Acoustic Research. However this particular stereo has no headphone jack, which is required to use the transmitter for the speakers..a bit of a disappointment on Christmas, to say the least. A sharp design however with a nice high gloss finish. The fact that it is wall mountable is a huge plus, but if you want to use the supplied legs they are not obtrusive. It has a component video out and an aux in, which is nice, however the lack of a headphone/aux out was and is still a huge surprise to me. I'll have to look more carefully in the future.
This is a great ipod player...I bought it with the purpose of using it for dual purpose of ipod player and to hook up to our tv to amplify the sound...it works wonderful for both!!! We love it! The sound is great and makes such a difference when we are watching movies because we don't have surround sound. For an ipod player, it is great as well - the sound is wonderful...the only thing I would improve on is having a selection of sound, like to increase the treble or the bass. Other than that it is wonderful!
The sound quality on the AR5100 is absolutely AMAZING. I wasn't able to find anything that matched the sound quality, offered the ability to wall mount and was priced around the $110 - $150 range. I'd only wish that it included a CD player and radio.
This docking station is the first one we have owned, and is worth the wait. All over this item was sold out, but we found it here on Amazon.com for less than what other stores were asking for it. We had to wait a bit, but was well worth it!
Sound is wonderful - and so easy to use! Would recommend this item for sure!
I read the reviews and decided to try it. We mounted it on the wall, plugged it in, attached the iTouch and it started to blast music! It sounds great for the price, size and weight. Mounts on wall very easily. Quality is good.
I bought this ihome for my 14 year old son. He LOVES it. It is mounted on his bedroom wall and he listens to it everyday. The sound quality is excellent. We can hear it throughout our house when he turns it up. This is a great bang for your buck!'

Iphone Charger - ipod accessories, iphone cable
After being burnt a number of times, on Apple accessories, I've learned to read the description carefully, especially under the used/new section.
Many sellers are selling after market knock offs advertised as "Apple replacement" "Apple OEM compatible with the following models" which they list the different models it should work with.
My advice, stay away from these products, especially since changes have been made to the Ipod and Iphone connector, dropping support for the firewire & usb models to usb only. The change made causes the earlier models, when plugged in, will usually place a message on the screen telling you it's not compatible. With others, the message may not come up, which could cause damage to your unit.
I recommend always contacting the seller to make certain it is a genuine Apple made product, and it's compatible with the later models.
With that said, the unit I received was an original Apple and works as advertised and expected. The seller did a fine job getting it to me in a reasonable time frame and at a good price. I have a number of Macs & Ipod units, and like having a cord available at each location. I also lose cables, or forget to bring one with me when I go the office, or some place where I spend a lot of time. If you have an Iphone, you know what a power hog it is, so plugging it into an available USB port any where you get the opportunity, you'll take.
Just be careful when ordering so you get the real deal. Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable - iPhone / iPod charging / data cable - Hi-Speed USB - 4 pin USB Type A (M) - Apple Dock connector
How difficult should it be to create a knockoff USB cable for an Apple product?
If you're buying this to charge an iPhone with an OtterBox case, prepare to make some, ah, modifications, shall we say. The goes-in-the-phone end is too large to fit, and the plastic sides must be (don't laugh) shaved down slightly to get by the OtterBox.
Alright, you're sitting there with a charging phone and a small pile of white plastic shavings on your desk. All well and good.
If you're me, however, you only have about 4-6 weeks before the cord pulls out of the charging end.
What a piece. Of. Yonk.
By gosh, I demand a cheap, quality knockoff so I don't have to send Steve Jobs $40 for a stinking 35 cent USB cord! Now appease me, shady Taiwanese plastics company! NOW!
The item shipped was not the item pictured. The item shipped is a cheap knockoff. It has a chintzy locking tab (OEM has no tab) that would not release and I had to rip the cord out of my phone to get it out. Buyer beware.
Well, I knew what I was getting into when I bought this cable. I obviously was not expecting top notch quality for the price I paid. Let's just say, the cord worked fine for 3 days. The end piece that connects to the iPhone completely tore off, exposing the wire underneath. Needless to say, I had to throw it away.
Pros:
It charges my 2nd generation ipod touch (running 3.0)
It syncs video, music and applications.
Cons:
I question the authenticity of this.
It did not come in the official apple box.(attached picture)
It didn't come with the official apple papers.
The official cord is always suppose to says "Designed by apple in California Assembled in China" on the usb side, but on the one I got, it said that on the dock connector side.(attached picture)
The dock connector side has and awkward fit, and it didn't fit perfectly. (attached picture)
Overall, it does it's job. I'm still unsure if it's official or not.
If it's unofficial, I would have bought the 54cent one instead.
I expected cheap cables so I bought 5. In the month since I received them, 3 have broken in one way or another. I will have to open the 4th tonight. The case which houses the iphone connector falls apart at the slightest hint of wind. The cables inside detach easily.
They do work with my iphone 3g, so the function is great as a backup, but I need these to last much longer to be considered worth it. - Apple - Ipod Charger - Iphone Cable - Ipod Accessories'

Desk Supplies Organizers - charger caddy, electronic organizer
I had looked at several charging stations and most either didn't have the charging strip, were too expensive, or were cheap looking. This charger is solid and looks great. Finally one place to put everything! Simply Put Deluxe Charging Station, Black (9541-5)
Nowhere could I find the charging station in black as my daughter wanted. Every store carried it in brown and many times it was pressed wood, not "real" wood. Thankfully I started searching Amazon.com and located just the one she wanted (with a drawer). Thank you for making her day (and mine).
I bought this for my husband for Christmas, as he is always misplacing his wallet and keys. I liked the fact that it has 3 spaces for charging various items, but still has spaces for wallet, keys, sunglasses, etc.
It also came with a power strip, which is nice. So far it is working very well!
This is a nice, small charging station for people with only 2 or 3 appliances. There is room for my pill bottles and keys, and I put sunglasses and pad and pen in the drawer. My only issue was, when it arrived, the drawer nob would not screw in correctly, so I had to buy a replacement nob and screw a Home Depot. They worked.
I wanted a black charging valet for the longest, and I finally found this one here for a pretty good price. Unfortunately, when I got it, the "leather" trim where the items lay was popping out because the cheap glue wasn't holding it down anymore. It does come with a power strip, but the cable is pretty short (in my opinion), so hope that your power outlet is relatively close to where you're planning on putting the valet.
Other than that, its still just "ok."
The station looks good -- I have it on the kitchen counter--and does the job of keeping things organized. I am using it on a regular basis for 2 devices--says it can do 3 at a time but the limitation is that most devices have larger boxes where they plug in, so would be hard to do 3. Drawer is useful for extra keys, etc.
As someone who works in IT and has lots of "tools" for staying connected, it had become a nightmare in the kitchen where my things tended to gather. My Blackberry for work... my personal cell phone... my bluetooth headset... my iPod... they all tended to end up on the counter near the same outlet, where I had to constantly shuffle the charging blocks based upon what needed it most. And of course, my change, my wallet, my keys, sunglasses, etc. all ended up in the same spot. My wife hated it. Unfortunately, many of the "charging stations" we found elsewhere did not include power strips or could not accomodate one, leaving you to wonder exactly how they helped.
Then recently my wife found this "Charging station" somewhere and purchased it for me as a gift. The black color is "professional" and allows it to "disappear" nicely under the cabinets. The included power strip is very sturdy, and allowed me to plug everything in at once, with more than enough space for all the "blocks" and extra cord to be hidden away from sight. Now instead of a mess of cords, my devices are all lined up neatly and glowing away while they charge at the same time. My wallet and keys and other miscellaneous items tuck away nicely in the drawer, and the small shelf in front is perfect for my sunglasses and pocketknife. No more clutter!!
This is not necessarily something I would have thought to purchase for myself (she tended to notice the clutter more than me), but long term it sure will make things easier not having to worry about whether I charged one device or another. When I come home at night, I just unload everything, plug it in, and it's all charged up and waiting the next morning. And having a central "drop spot" for everything else is nice. For folks on the go, this is one purchase you won't regret!
very nice looking; good size and space for several items. a minus 1 star for the power strip (which is included) since it's size does not really fit the rather large plugs for most devices, but it is easy to substitute a longer one - Charger Caddy - Charging Valet - Electronic Organizer - Cell Phone Organizer'

Thumb Drive - sandisk, 32 gb
I work between a large laptop and a netbook so I needed something light & mobile to store my data and this was the perfect solution. I had no problems with my order or delivery... in fact I got this sooner than expected. Great product... reliable seller! SanDisk SanDisk Cruzer 32GB USB 32 GB Flash Drive SDCZ36-032G, Black
Works 100% - just plug it in and go! 32gigs is nice. The switch works well, just push-up to expose the usb plug. It locks in place once fully exposed, then you must push-in and down to retract it. This stops it from retracting while inserting it into the computer. Lots of storage for a good price.
I recently purchased a U3 device. I added a few core apps that I thought would be useful and decided to add some more... WRONG! Sandisk has discontinued U3, there is no support, no software, no options. Sandisk has flipped any users the bird and just killed the sites. No warnings, no archiving for current users, just dead links.
Thanks for nothing. DO NOT PAY EXTRA for U3! The only option is to uninstall U3 and install PortableApps from [...]. Rumor is it's a better product anyway.
I'm not sure why this flash drive is not available now. It's a great drive for a great price, just like all the others in the series. The retractible connector works perfectly. I've been using it about a week now with no problems.
Well, I got my "mammoth" disk on key... which is wonderful in that it's got TONS of room... but, that's not ALL I expected it to have.
First, it's totally empty. Not a single file on it (or anything like U3... which I loved and used on my 8GB SanDisk). Not even a "sync" program or backup utility? Come on, that's just plain cheap.
Secondly, it's SLOW. I don't know if the problem is the file sizes, but I haven't had problems transferring the same files to the 8GB "little brother". I transferred 11 GB and it would have taken less time to burn a DVD!!!
Third, Amazon is great. I can't complain about anything I've ever purchased from them and the time it took to arrive. They are quick to respond if there's a problem, and I'll keep on buying from Amazon!!!
Thanks!

X1
This is a great little item that allows you to use the X-1 as a point a shoot. Flip it on and you are ready to go. I was not happy with another product from this seller, but this lens cap seems to work fine - at least so far. They make this lens cap for different cameras, so be sure to order one for the X-1. Also, you have to unscrew the metal attachment under the lens cap to install this new hinged cap. It installs just like a UV filter. I highly recommend this product. RainbowImaging Auto Lens Cap for Leica X1 12.2MP APS-C CMOS Digital Camera
This lens cap replacement works like a charm. I bought the Leica X1 so I could have a great little camera that I could bring with my everywhere and be unobtrusive. The original lens cap that comes with it just detaches and won't even turn on while it is attached (unless you do the play-only mode). With RainbowImaging's Auto Lens Cap you can keep it on there and never have to worry about losing a lens cap or the camera not turning on. You can turn it on anytime and be ready to shoot in no time! Like another review said, you simply screw off the existing lens cap and then install this one.
For those with the leather Leica X1 case, with this auto lenscap installed it still fits inside the case, you just have to push down a little bit more on it than you would have before. No big deal.
This lens cap fitted by Leica X1 perfectly. I just had to remove the original lens cover which was screwed over the lens. Then screw in this new attachment. Works like a charm! Now, I don't have to worry about taking out and replacing the lens cap every time I want to take a picture! How cool is that! Also, no worries about losing the lens cap (which I did once, and drove me crazy trying to find it).
Get this - absolutely no regrets !
When the Lens cap arrived, I was excited as the ad for the product claimed it would fit my Leica X-1 camera, but it would not. I called the company and they said the instructions showed how it would fit, but obviously they have never seen the camera because if they had they too would realize the auto opening lens cap would not attach to the camera. The lens cap looked like it was made to fit over the existing lens but the size was wrong it was too small to fit on the outside of the lens. It should have been made to screw into the lens like the original cap provided with the camera. But in short there was no way of removing any part of the lens on camera and the RainboImaging Co. has never seen a Leica X-1 camera. I still have the lens cap and wish to return it.
Very disappointed in the company and product.'

Coleman Portable Grill - coleman grill, camping
We purchased this Road Trip after having a horrible experience with a grill from Cabelas. That grill had the lava rocks that moved every time you moved the grill and besides that the legs fell off. We were looking for something that would have fold under legs and no rocks. The Road Trip saved our camping days. We purchased a bag for it, keep it stored in the belly of the camper and with putting water in the tray below the burners, it is very very easy to clean up. You can place this on the picnic table to cook on or use the fold down legs. We have also discovered that this is the best way to cook grilled onions and potatoes or pork chops or chicken, etc on the griddle. Very very convenient and easy clean up. We both rate this a 5 stars. Great job, Coleman. Signed happy camper, Janet Becker Coleman 9941-768 Road Trip Grill (Blue)
This truly is the perfect grill for the RV. Before buying, I researched everything from the Weber Q (good, not perfect), to the Themos Grill2Go (not really a grill).
Before it came, I was thinking that my high expectations from all these glowing reviews would cause me to not like it as much, but it's even better than some of these reviews! It's very portable, and folds up to a small size. And cooking on it is very easy, as well as just as important, clean up. If you get one, I recommend you also order a second grill grate to replace the griddle sometimes. (It comes with 1 of each). Griddle is great for eggs, grilling onions, etc., but it's nice to have the maximum space to grill hamburgers and hotdogs for the parties.
Finally, this blue model is the best of the three Coleman Road Trip Grills, too. Even though there are some with additional letters, this one has heavier duty grates than the other two, and a better stand system (in my opinion).
This grill replaced our old gas grill at home. In four years I've went through 4 grills to rust that occurs naturally here, just by a metal object being outside. I wanted a solution to finally eliminate that problem. This fits the bill with the fold up capability, and the storage bag to keep it fresh. You're still cooking over an open flame with the grill plate. It comes with a griddle and a grill, each covering half of the cooking area, and I've obtained a 20-lb tank attachment, and an extra grill, for the big jobs. Try this feature out: the grill, griddle, and drip trays are washable in the dishwasher.... I can't say that about my old grills.
Used it first on a camping trip. Then, after we got back, cooked breakfast outdoors on a cold Wisconsin morning. This baby did what it's supposed to, and I couldn't be happier. I got an extra griddle surface and two stove grates, so keep that in mind. I don't think the grill is complete as sold, you do need the extra surfaces. At least, I did.Best performance was a full breakfast on a cold Wisconsin morning, near freezing, wind blowing. I cooked bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled a dozen eggs in a large skillet. Then I kept the pancakes coming while we started eating. Griddles were being exchanged for stove grates, and back again. Under tough, heat-stealing conditions everything cooked fast. I did up about 20 strips of bacon, 9 hash brown patties, and the dozen eggs with ease. Then the pancakes came off quickly and smoothly as an added breakfast bonus. You try scrambling a dozen eggs at once, temperature near freezing, wind blowing, huge skillet, on any other camp stove. If you can, let me know.
I cannot say enough about this product. It is absolutely great for tailgating or any other activity where you want a grill on the go. During this past football season, we on average cooked 50-75 bratwursts and hotdogs. The grill holds about 30 at one time, so in no time you can make sure to get everyone fed. The grill is reliable, easy to set-up and breakdown, and heats up immediately. The electric start is also a huge bonus, especially in windy situations.Couple of notes: The grill comes standard with a grill and a griddle, but if you are into serious grilling then I recommend you can purchase a separate grill to replace the griddle for more grilling area. Second, Coleman sells a carrying/rolling case which is a must have for tailgating/camping. The case lets you pack everything into a small compact set and keeps your car clean when transporting. Finally, if you are seriously into grilling on the go purchase a one-gallon gas tank, the grill is highly efficient and you will get a significant amount of use out of the smaller tank.
I bought the Coleman RoadTrip Grill last summer to replace my 20-year old portable CharBroil gas grill. I spent quite a bit of time researching both the Coleman grill and the CharBroil/Thermos Grill2Go. I chose the Coleman because of it's versatility. I purchased the optional carrying case, stove grate, and additional grill section to go along with the grill section and griddle section that came with the unit. It's easy to light and stays lit on windy days. Cleanup is a breeze since almost every surface is porcelain enamel or non-stick coated. I use it almost exclusively for tailgating and get lots of questions about it at the stadium. One of the best purchases I have ever made.
I had seen the road trip grill once at a campground and knew I wanted one. I like it because it has burners like your home stove instead of one large traditional BBQ grill. Plus, the little stand works is great, I don't need an extra table anymore.
We picked this one up used, but it was like new. This grill has been the best grill I've had. We used to use those portable little grills that would only cook about 6 burgers. The burner would burn out after one camping season.
It works great. Putting water in the tray can be a bit of a pain, but cleaning it is a snap that way. I purchased a stove grate so I can use frying pans or boil water. I've replaced both my BBQ grill and cook stove in my motorhome with this one grill. Really! I also recently purchased another griddle so I can cook a whole pancake and bacon breakfast for 5 people at once. (bacon one side and pancakes on the other)
I'm really impressed with this grill. Its portable, cooks well and saves my space. (I don't carry a stove or extra table anymore) If your looking for a new grill, this is the one. You can use it at home too! - Camping - Coleman Grill - Barbecue - Grill'

Bicycle Accessories - bike tool, chain
After years of manually cleaning my bicycle chains, often too infrequently, I made a worthwhile investment in a Park Tool chain cleaner. As a year round bicycle commuter in Chicago, I am often braving the elements leading to concerns over corrosion that could weaken a chain. In years past, I have snapped multiple chains, causing dangerous instability, a loss of balance, and on more than one occasion, a wipeout. Frequent oiling is one approach to mitigating the corrosion. Yet, this leads to a build-up of gunk that can increase the overall resistance. So, for me, finding an efficient routine cleaning method was extremely important, making this product a very valuable item.
When I was younger and had more free time, I would remove a bicycle chain and soak it in a coffee can full of gasoline. This was cheap, environmentally unfriendly and potentially dangerous. Now that I live in a high-rise apartment with beige carpeting, I try to keep the mess and disassembly to a minimum. The Park Tool chain cleaner is excellent for this situation as there is minimal scattering of the cleaning solution. Yet, the cleaning process isn't entirely compatible with carpeting as the cleaning fluid clings to the chain and drips off around the entire path of chain travel. So indoor chain cleaning still requires newspapers or rags to protect the carpeting.
The Park Tool chain cleaner is both fast and effective. The rotary brushes do an excellent job at removing tightly adhering grime. This somewhat surprised me because the bristles are nylon and not metal. From my unscientific observations, the results are as good or better than hand cleaning with wire brush. More importantly, it is definitely much faster. In addition to the main apparatus, Park Tool was nice enough to include a very narrow hand brush with the kit that allow for easy cleaning in between the rear cogs. With this brush and the main tool, the user can perform an end-to-end drive chain cleaning in less than 15 minutes.
One of the advantages of a chain cleaning tool like this is that it contains a reservoir that puts the cleaning solution precisely where it is needed. It is so efficient in this regard that a significant amount sediment builds up at the bottom of the relatively small sized reservoir, requiring that the fluid be changed at least twice during a single cleaning. While it only uses about four ounces per fill, the Park Tool cleaning solution is 20 times as expensive as kerosene or gasoline so there is no cost saving on the consumables front. I suspect that citrus cleaning fluids at hardware or automotive stores would work just as well for much less.
For $28, this product is definitely worth the expense from the time savings alone. While I am not a bicycle mechanic, I do own other Park Tools. In all cases, I have been rather satisfied with their quality. The prices, however, are generally out of line with conventional tools, which may be a result of high dealer markup for niche products with limited markets. In this case, the price is a bargain but I suspect that Park tries to make its profit on the cleaning solution whose expense can probably be avoided by purchasing commonly available alternatives. In total, I would highly recommend this product for both its value and effectiveness.
Pros
Very effective
Saves times
Contains mess
Inexpensive upfront cost
Cons
Expensive cleaning solution
Excessive sediment formation in small reservoir Park Tool CG-2 Chain Gang Chain Cleaning System
I have two bikes: a road bike and city bike. The city bike chain was really not that dirty, I cleaned it first - not really impressed. Then I cleaned the road bike, which was really dirty. "One" word my friends: holy-moly. The chain looked just like new, I didn't think it was going to be that clean. The chain scrub and gear brush really do help in cleaning the cog, they get the gunk in-between the gears. Also, I probably will be making my own cleaner once the 8oz bottle of CB-2 Citrus Chain Brite is finished. You can find a wide variety of cleaners for less nowadays. Anyway, I'm very glad I bought this product. 100% worth the price!
Since this cleaning system has there different products (which can be bought separately), let me comment on each product:
CM-5 Cyclone Chain Cleaner: This is great! It is very easy to set up, use, and clean. After cleaning my chain with this (two minutes), the chain looked like new.
GSC-1 GearClean® Brush: This is ok. It is a little bit thin, but it does the job.
8oz bottle of CB-2 Citrus Chain Brite: This worked very well. However, there is not much in the bottle. I calculate it has enough fro 3 to 5 applications. I have three bikes, so this will not last long. Note that the CM-5 Cyclone Chain Cleaner instructions indicate that water with dish soap is a good substitute for this.
The chain cleaner is great. You *can* use a water and dishwashing detergent solution, but bike-specific degreasers are much more effective at breaking down the gunk, and, if your not careful in throughly drying and re-lubricating the chain, lingering water will cause your chain to rust. Aside from the normal operating instructions, there are two additional steps that I've found make the cleaner work its best:
1. Before running your chain through the cleaner, get a rag and wipe the sides and top/bottom of the entire length of the chain.
2. The reservior needs to be cleaned out on occasion, obviously, but make sure that you throughly rinse out the foam insert after every few chain cleanings. It make the difference between getting your chain "clean" and getting your chain shiny again.
At the time of this review, it is a better deal to buy this: Park Tool CM-5 Cyclone Chain Cleaner and this: Bike Cleaner - Park Tool - Park CB-2 Citrus Chain-Brite Cleaner. That's twice the amount of solution (16 fl. oz. vs 8 fl. oz.), but no brush. However, I don't understand what the included brush is supposed to do. I've used it on my cassette. It didn't do anything. If you need to clean between the cogs on your cassette, get a rag, pull it taught, and drag the edge between the cogs. - Chain Cleaner - Bike Tool - Chain - Park Tool'

Sport Watch - sport watch
This watch was absolutely the best watch I have ever bought. The instructions for set-up were easy and I like the look this gives. Some have complained that it does not come with instructions and this I believed at first too. The instructions are actually within the holder it comes in. I had to dig in the trash to get the instructions out because I had not thought to look in there.
The watch is very shiny. It gives date and time. It is not THAT big as some have been saying. I like my watches tight and i wear it this way. When I do push ups or weights i just loosen it.
People have been asking if it is a G-shock. When I show them they're surprised to see that it is a better looking watch at a cheaper price. Armitron Men's 408231RDGY Silver-Tone and Black Chronograph Digital Sport Watch
Very nice display, great features, and looks very nice. I was afraid it was going to be smaller than I wanted, but it's actually perfect. I got this watch for when I'm running, or working out, or playing sports, and I don't damage my nice Fossil or Guess analog watches.
Pros: Good utility feed, clear display in low light, and good lighting when in total dark. Sharp display setup, great features
Cons: Might not be the best watch for Pushups, because it does tend to pinch the hand when wrist is bent back, but loosening it will solve that problem.
Overall, very happy with this watch, and I'm making it my official sports watch
I've searched for a watch I could wear everyday, at work, the gym, or even with a suit and tie. It has a great look and feel along with an easy to see face. I highly recommend purchasing this watch. You'll get great looks at a great price.
This watch looks great and is really not that big. The face is easy to see, the watch works for everything (gym, work, parties), and the buttons are easy to operate and learn how to control. Some other buyers say there is nothing in the right uppermost circle, but that's not true. When you go to alarm mode, press button C to activate the alarm and a bell shows there. Press C again and you get the hourly chime. Press C again 2 times to deactivate the alarms. Also, the instruction manuel is hidden inside the dock that the watch comes in, so look everywhere in the box before you throw it away. That's from experience. This watch gets a 5 star rating. I'm very impressed. If you're feeling oh-i-don't-know-if-i-should-get-it, definately get it. Without question. Great watch for a great price.
Nice big face, even bigger than a lot of the G-watches. I own 2 G shocks 7900 & 9000 and this is bigger. I'm not a big fan of the chrome though, i think its too much. But other than than, this watch is functional and you can't beat the value. Most watches under this $20 doesn't even come close to looking this good.
I've taken this backpacking twice now in the last 2 months and no problems with water, mud and other elements. This is also pretty much my everyday watch now.
Just FYI, if you look at this watch with a polarized sunglasses, you may not see time on certain angles.
Ordered the watch and it arrived earlier than promised. Works wonderfully. Not as heavy as it looks; quite light. Large size is not a problem even though I have a small wrist. Excellent functionality. And a great price. Will test water resistance in the Florida Keys next month. Recommended.
I have always held Armitron watches in high regard but I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of this watch. It looks very high tech and for the $18.75 plus shipping, I am not disappointed at all. Some have said they've experienced pinching from the band while doing push ups. I have not encountered such a problem during my workouts so this watch deserves the 5 star rating. This attractive beauty is definitely not a waste of your money whatsoever and I highly recommend its purchase.
Great work watch or for camping. The backlight is perfect for checking the time if you wake up because it is dimmer than a indi-glow which is a lot more easier on the eyes checking the time. Good stopwatch, alarms, 2 time zone settings. I like having nice watches, but this is nice enough looking chap watch that for $20 you wont worry about scratching it or breaking it, and when bought thru Amazon it comes with a lifetime warranty. I use it mostly for fishing.
This watch is pretty awesome. The watch seems to be of great quality. I was looking for digital watch that looked somewhat stylish at the same time. The only thing that I would have liked for was like a manual or instructions. I figured out all the settings by myself (isn't rocket science), but it would have been nice.
Highly recommend this watch - Sport Watch'

Digital Camera - camera bag, camcorder cases
This case is just the right size for my Camcorder. I also will carry my 10 Meg digital camera in it. Has enough room for some blank DVDs and batteries. I will store the chargers and other wires in a seperate bag. Sony LCS-X20 Soft Carrying Case for most Sony Camcorders
I bought this bag in tandem with a Sony HDR-CX100. The bag has plenty of space for the camera, plus a velcro divider to keep it snug and make room for a compact still camera (which I like to carry), filters, the instruction manual or whatever you need. In fact, there's so much room (given the size of the CX100) that I almost wish Sony had included a larger horizontal divider so that you could add a second layer of padded storage. There's also storage inside the lid (kinda tight, but will hold an extra battery or memory card) and a large pocket in front for cables, etc. In short, this bag will hold your camera and more.
Quality is excellent, particularly for the price. I have a Targus bag for my old camcorder and a Lowepro for my SLR. This bag has the Targus camcorder bag beat hands down and easily approaches the more expensive Lowepro for fit and finish. The bag is well padded and the outer nylon is tough and stands up to scuffs..it's only fault is that it will pick up fuzz from certain jackets when carried over the shoulder.
This case is larger than expected (double the size of one at Walmart that looks just like it), but probably true to specifications (which I obviously didn't think through).
More space, however, allows me to carry more...such as my regular digital cameras, small tripod, batteries, and chargers, so it will make a good storage case or case for trips requiring all of the above.
Good quality. Made nicely. Seems sturdy. Would recommend as long as one wants a larger case for their small handycam. (I have the DCR-SR45.)
I bought this carrying case for my SONY-H62 minidv camcorder. This is just what I needed. Perfect for my needs. Sufficient but not too much space to keep the media, charger etc. I can even carry my digital camera in the same case. I would definitely recommend this product
This case looks just like larger cases that you may be familiar with but it is MUCH smaller. I use this for the Sony HDR-CX150. A small zipper pocket in the front holds most SMALL cords. I divide the case with 1/3 for the power cord that has the power block, and the other 2/3 for the camera. I have the pistol grip / mini tripod attached (Highly recommend that little accessory), and it fits in well. You can also put a SDHC card in a zippered mesh on the flap but that is about it. If you want any more than that, buy the next case up. But if you are trying to take a very small camcorder and keep the package small, this is a great case. It is made well and functions well. I saw this at a brick and mortar store and it was CONSIDERABLY more expensive than what I found on Amazon. Having seen it, I knew it was small and purposely went looking for it. If the function described is what you want then you won't be disappointed. - Camcorder - Camcorder Cases - Camcorder Accessories - Camera Bag'

42 Inch - panasonic plasma, viera
Disclaimer: This is all personal opinion.
There was Beta vs VHS...
There is Mac vs Windows...
And there is Plasma vs LCD/LED...
Like Beta and Mac, Plasma is the higher quality technology. Like VHS and Windows, LCD/LED is the user-friendly norm. To each his/her own.
I prefer Plasma.
PROS:
Less pixelation, faster refresh rate, less action-blur, 30 yrs life at 8 hours a day viewing, "image burn-in" almost nonexistent in newer models (would require MAJOR user-negligence, and it's a temporary effect anyway), on the average the sound quality is better/resonance, a more durable screen surface (better for people with pets who throw toys around and children who might push at the screen---ask your local dealer to knock his knuckles against a plasma screen and an LCD one, he won't knock on the LCD screen!), and unlike Macs though..."plasmas" are also the better technology BUT at the cheaper price. Life usually isn't that kind! The better product for the better price:-) Take advantage of it!
NEUTRALS:
Some might see the "higher quality but cheaper price" is a precursor to a technology that is being phased out of service (like the Beta tapes, or even Toshiba's HD-DVDs that eventually lost to Sony's Blu-Ray). That's understandable! But keep in mind, to my knowledge there are no LCD tv's beyond 65" as the technology can't support it. Those "enormo-screens" like Jerry Jones' "Everything is Bigger in Texas" boob tubes are Plasmas! Plasmas aren't going away...
CONS:
Glare. Period. It IS an issue! The only issue. Personally, I think LCDs show their fair share of washed-out, hazy-glare at various angles anyway, but they still reign supreme in high light. Being a former glass-screen, tube-tv viewer...I don't find it any worse, but the "glare is there" so to speak. Can be "mirror-like" in the very worst cases. Blinds can solve the problem and setting the tv at a height of 4' or higher in room makes most sitting-angles, couches/tablechairs fine from window light. Still, it IS an issue.
"Plasma tvs run at a hot temperature and drain more energy." That's kind of out-dated. And the energy-draw is probably like $2 more a month. (Interesting sidenote...when choosing between the Panasonic and the Samsung, noticed the Samsung plasma screen felt rather warm whereas the Panasonic felt room temp.)
CLOSING STATEMENT: Panasonic is/has been Plasma-industry leader since day 1...they've always focused on plasmas unlike Samsung, LG etc (not saying they're bad). Despite selling HDTV's a few years ago at a major chain, I just got my first HDTV a few weeks ago! Couldn't afford one until now. Always kept my eye on the Panasonic plasmas though and the Panasonic TC-P42X3 was worth the wait. I sit (using the old walking-foot count) ~12' away from my tv in an apartment living room w/ 2 larger windows. I'll take the better picture with some "glare-issues" in the morning then the lower quality picture with "little glare" issues anyday!
ANY HDtv is better than the old CRTs (even though I loved them--"pixelation"?!? Who ever heard of "pixelation"?!!!), but I must confess this is a really good tv. I debated b/w a 1080p 32" LCD and a 42" 720p Pan plasma. Wanted great picture. Was afraid I was sitting too close to a 42" at 12'. Not so. An old worker-associate steered me back in the right direction that was my gut instinct to begin with...a 42" Panasonic Viera Plasma! Alvin at hhGregg, Dayton Ohio (sorry Amazon)! His commission was a pittance but his advice priceless.
Hope this review helped... Panasonic VIERA TC-P42X3 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV
I just got a new X3 for a great price, and here's my experience.
As a TV the X3 is excellent. I have it connected to a roof antenna, and the reception is excellent. It has a very good picture on hd broadcasts, and good also on sd broadcasts. The sound is good for a TV. The remote is a good size and easy to use. I could wish for a dedicated sleep-timer button, I suppose, but it's still a well-designed remote. Given that the current price on the 42" X3 is comparable to a non-network TV, just for these virtues this set represents a great buy.
If you want a wifi connection, you'll need a usb network adapter and there are apparently only two choices--the panasonic model DY-WL10 (~$90) or the cheaper Netgear WNDA3100 v2. There is some confusion about the Netgear, since it has to be the v2 and the serial number has to start with 2D4 or 20A (actually, it's really hard to tell the difference between these two sequences when the print is that small--maybe they're actually the same). These are sometimes identified on the package as being compatible with panasonic TVs. There is no particular reason to think the panasonic adapter is better than the netgear. I got both accidentally: the panasonic adapter can be easier to find, but I also found a used netgear on amazon without much difficulty for ~$20.
But my experience trying to get a wifi connection has been frustrating, mainly because of a problem with my dsl modem/router. The setup procedure is simple and straightforward. But I had difficulties and worked through the procedure with a cs rep on the phone with no success. I am glad to report that the cs rep was patient and helpful, even though he couldn't solve my problem.
Subsequently it became clear that my old modem/router was causing the trouble. It used the older "G" wifi protocol, but it was also prone to dropping the internet connection. So I needed to replace it in any event. Anyway, I got the latest "N" protocol modem/router compatible with my ISP. As soon as I set it up, the tv recognised the router's wifi signal with either the netgear or the panasonic wireless usb adapter. The reception of streaming videos is flawless--excellent picture and sound quality.
Another option not quite as elegant as the tiny usb adapter is to configure a second wifi router to serve as a bridge. That would give you an ethernet connection you can place next to the TV, and as a bonus extend the range of your wifi throughout your house. There are lots of guides for how to do this online.
Anyway, the result of all of this is that I've changed my rating to 5 stars for a truly excellent tv. Second, I'm returning the panasonic wireless adapter. The netgear works perfectly for less than a quarter of the price.
I couldn't be happier with this tv now. But I would recommend making sure your router uses the "N" protocol. I'm not certain that this matters, but I haven't had any problems since I switched my router.

Iphone 4g Cases - elago, iphone
I got this recently for my iphone 4, because it looked good in the web page. This is a piece of junk and not worth more than a dollar ! Do not buy this product as it scratches the phone and dirt gets accumulated because of the porous pattern. Buy the MiniSuit iPhone 4 Skin Case (chrome/gray/smoked...) instead. elago S4 BREATHE Case for AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4 (Black)
I have bought about 11 different cases, iSkin, Belkin, Apple Bumper, Incase, you name it. This is by far my favorite and the one I have been using the last couple of weeks.
While many others provide better shock protection, this one is the slimmest and sharpest.
It definitely goes well with iPhone 4 design and slickness. Its design also allows effective heat dissipation, which is key on a compact phone like this.
It looks very elegant. I would recommend to use it with a very slim back screen protector (not provided). at least, that is how I use it. I have the Power Support anti-glare for the front screen and a cheap film protector for the back that came with another case.
Once every other week, I remove the case and wipe it to remove the dust - no a big deal.
BTW: customer service at Elago is outstanding. There was an error on my order and, first they replied within 20 minutes to my email, and took care of the problem in no time. I will definitely buy the case in silver, as well.
Summary:
Pros:
-Look and feel: slim, perfect cuts, no sharp edges
-Packaging: little is more. Just one clear bag for the case, the case and... nothing else.
Cons:
-Shock protection: very little, if any. Being fair, my daughter has dropped my phone a couple of times, nothing big, and no even an scratch.
-No screen protectors (front or back) which in most cases are cheap and you end up buying a quality one somewhere else anyways.
For this price, just go ahead and get it.
Bought this case while waiting for my free case from Apple. It showed up promptly, and fits well, looks beautiful in the phone, however, it isn't well made. I managed to chip the case while on my phone in my pocket on the 3rd day I used it. Case hasn't chipped any more since, yet, and is still functional, the backing on the case is exceptional, as it is very easy to hold, without being either too sticky, or too smooth. All in all, I like the case, but it having chipped just when I placed my un-adorned hand into my pocket will prevent me from purchasing a similar product from Elago.
GOOD:
1. This is a beautiful case. My favorite design of any iPhone 4 cases I have seen.
BAD:
1. Durability. I do not care about protection as much as beautiful design and execution which is why I purchased this case. The issue however, is that this case cracks along the edge that holds the phone in. This makes for jagged edges, snagging on clothes and an inability for the case to stay on the phone. I have purchase 2 of these cases and the first one lasted 3 weeks and the second one only 2 days!
2. Customer service. I emailed Elago after the first one broke hoping they could help me out. I never heard from them. I sent another email 1 week later and nothing. I decided it wasn't worth my time since it was only a few dollars and ordered another. That one failed in 2 days. I emailed them again and nothing. I really love the design but the quality of this one is flawed. I would NOT buy unless you are looking for a disposable case.
The Breath case for the iPhone 4 is just what I was looking for...almost. The look is good, very sharp. The texture of the material is also excellent. This will not slip from your hands. The downside? It does not always want to stay on the phone. The nature of the design means that it will have slight problems staying on the body of the phone. All round good case, very good looking, but not perfect.
I've now gone through 2 of these cases, just to make sure I did not get a defective one. Both times the case chipped around the edges by the front of the phone. The phone was never dropped, just simply placed in a front pocket.
Overall it had a nice feel/grip while being lightweight and stylish. However, since it cannot stand up to daily use, I would highly recommend another product.
This case is one of the best looking cases for the iPhone 4 in my opinion. I've tried 4 or 5 other styles and they just didn't look as good as this one. Feels great in the hand as well. It leaves the side buttons wide open and is thin enough to fit in my docking station which is not supposed to work with a phone case. It also has a thin lip above the level of the front glass, so if you lay the phone face down it's protected.
I live in the desert where it can be pretty dusty, and I've only had to remove the case once every month to wipe out any dust that's collected below.
I've had no problems whatsoever with scratching. I double checked after reading the reviewer who complained of scratching and all of the edges of the phone were scratch free after having used it for 3 months. - Elago - Iphone - Iphone 4 - Breathe'
