Cordless Screwdriver
This drill is a great value for someone who uses it twice a month or less.
I found this locally for about $20. It has great features for the price: cordless, 2-speed (325/650rpm), reversing (to drive screws) and a keyless chuck. The quality is quite good, considering the price. It's well balanced, and seems to have a good amount of power. It's stated capacity is a 1/2" in wood, and 3/8" in steel. The battery pack is built inside. It uses 4/5 sub-C ni-cd cells. The shelf life of rechargeables is about
3 months, so you will need to charge it occassionally. Black & Decker 9099KC 7.2-Volt Cordless Drill with Keyless Chuck
Good buy. Does not come with bits and drill heads. Luckily I had a set from my old drill.
I did find this one cheaper in Walmart later, but oh well.
I built all the furniture in my new apartment with this guy. Thank goodness I had it.
Powerful enough for the job w/o being too heavy to lug around. Charges just fine.
I received this BLACK & DECKER 7.2-VOLT CORDLESS DRILL for Christmas. I've been looking for a cordless drill for about nine months and had been looking at drills that were a bit larger and more powerful. However, even though this drill isn't quite what I was looking for, it's an exceptional drill. It has two speeds (325 & 650 rpm), can go in reverse, and the chuck is keyless. It's a very easy drill to use and is fairly light weight. The battery pack is built inside the drill and in order to charge it, you have to plug the charger into a socket on the drill. I've used this drill several times since receiving it and have not had any problems. In fact, the only criticism I have is that the drill doesn't include any drill bits or heads; you have to purchase a set of drill bits and heads separately. Overall, this is a great drill for someone who is a novice to beginning home repair type person. It'll also do a job for more experience handymen who are in the pinch.
Having worked in the construction trades for many years, I have a variety of professional quality corded and cordless drills, but my six year old wanted a "real" drill of his own. I found one of these on sale for under 20 bucks a couple of years ago and figured that for the price, I wouldn't be too bothered if he ruined it. It was perfect for him to use for drilling holes in scrap lumber as he learned to use tools, clamp down his work, wear appropriate safety gear, and become comfortable in the workshop.
I was impressed enough that I bought two more for my students to use for technology and engineering projects in the middle school science classroom (popsicle stick bridges, mousetrap cars), and then I bought one more to keep handy at the bench where I do electronics and hobby projects.
Frankly, it is a far better drill than I had expected for the price. In repetitive use, it comfortably drilled 20 consecutive 1/4 holes in a slab of 4/4 oak. The slower speed on the two speed trigger works nicely for driving screws or drilling up to 1/8" holes through aluminum bar stock and brass. It will effectively work for slow speed grinding and sanding with "dremel" type attachments in a pinch, although obviously the Dremel tool is much better for this.
The drills in my classroom get continuous use for a few days and then get packed away until the next project. The ones at home will get intensive use over a weekend and then will go for several weeks without being used at all. Surprisingly, I generally find that the batteries retain plenty of power for a casual hole or three even when put up without getting a full charge first.
Tip: To keep the drill handy at my workbench, I cut the top and bottom ends out of a tomato paste can and screwed it to the apron on one end of the bench. The chuck drops perfectly into the can and leaves the drill ready to hand when needed and well out of the way otherwise.
Remember that if you allow your kids to use power tools, be sure they ALWAYS wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
This drill does NOT come with a two-port charger as described in the review section, which was a major selling point while searching drills. It says right on the box BDDC180 dual charger included and probably where Amazon got the information for their review. But, you or I would not know this until it arrives at our door. From what I can gather from the pdf manual I found on the BDDC180, only the 14v and 18v models come with the two-port charger, hence the 180 in the model number.
I bought this drill when we decided to hang new window treatments, and the prospect of driving all those little screws by hand was a daunting one, indeed. This drill/driver easily removed all the screws from the old hardware and inserted the new ones without any difficulty. It has also come in handy for other projects at home and at the office. It's probably not a contractor grade tool, but for medium-duty household use it's just right. So, too, is the price! If you buy this kit (which includes two batteries and a charger), I would also recommend getting B&D's 30-piece "quick change" drill/driver bit set. It allows you to switch drill bits and drivers without having to loosen and tighten the chuck - a real time saver!
I love this B and D Drill. Not too heavy and not overpowering. My original B and D lasted more than 30 years, but it was time to go cordless.
Easy to handle, and being cordless gives you so much freedom.
The rechargable batteries seem to hold a charge for a really long time.
I should have converted to cordless a long time ago.
This is a very nice tool, especially if you are an apartment dweller like me.
This drill does as advertised. It is very light weight, yet packs enough power for most household work. I am amazed at how long it works on a single charge. I like the fact that the batteries are built-in and don't have to be removed/replaced for charging. For the price, I highly recommend it for typical household drilling.'

Rain Gear - rain poncho, rainwear
Great poncho! Withstood the rigors of traipsing around England in showers and a torrential downpour in Cornwall. I'm a big, beautiful woman, regularly wear a 3X, and it fit just fine. My only complaint is that I ordered it in one color (black), then got an email saying that color wasn't available, so had to go with another color (navy blue), but it did arrive quickly once I changed the order. Pacific Poncho, Unisex (Black)
Pacific Poncho, Unisex (Royal)
In general, I love this Poncho, which I have worn quite often at work (I work as a tourguide outdoors). It's lightweight and sturdy and I 've had many compliments on the way it looks. I use the little storage pouch for protecting my paperwork against the weather. The only drawback is the lack of a "half-brim" on the hood, which would offer better protection for my face (thus the one-star detraction), but otherwise it's a good buy.
Poncho feels great inside and out! Has great elasticity on the outside to prevent damage from brush when moving thru foliage (not stiff so reduces noise too). Inside has by far the best feel that I have experienced from a poncho over the past 30-something years (ex-military). Drawstring on hood is top quality. Snaps halfway down sides have water resistant pull tabs for easy use and to prevent tearing. Great breathability and excellent wet weather protection.
When I read some of the reviews of items I am often reminded of the line in the Mason Williams' song, "how hopeless it all becomes when you seek all the answers in one". I have 3 different ponchos I use for three different purposes. I have a large military surplus poncho that I have been using for the past four decades and it provides 100% coverage of me and my back pack or camera bag. It is too bulky for general travel and is used 100% of the time for day trips originating from my home.
I have a second excellent poncho that provides 75% as much coverage as the military issue one but is compact enough to take along for use while traveling. I used it on a recent trip to Costa Rica and it was perfect. It kept me mostly dry and provided enough air circulation that I did not get wet from my own perspiration - which is where ponchos excel.
I bought this Pacific poncho in a "forest green" and it is 1/3 the size of my other "travel" poncho. It is small enough to carry in the pocket of a jacket or in a small purse and have it ready for immediate use. No it does not provide full coverage anymore than a small collapsible umbrella provides the same coverage as a large golfing type of umbrella, but that should not come as a surprise. The forest green color is a good deal darker than anything I have seen before and looks in tungsten light like it is actually a dark navy blue. Nice color and I prefer it to the color that is shown in the picture provided by this merchant.
You cannot have it all, lightweight, compact size, and full coverage of all bodies, big and small, and inexpensive. If you are big then get a full size poncho if you cannot afford to get your shins or shirt cuffs wet. If you want 100% coverage then forget about compact size and better yet get waterproof pants and a waterproof jacket and take an umbrella.
Ponchos are perfect for photographers regardless of any other consideration. I can have my camera bag and my camera outside of the bag instantly accessible and yet protected from the rain. I can even shoot through the hood and use a tripod and keep myself mostly dry while shooting from my portable "blind". The small size and very compact nature of the Pacific poncho makes it something one can easily put in pocket of the camera bag and have it immediately ready if needed.
I like the color of this poncho - it's a true Forest Green and seems well made. Granted, it is very light but the Polyurethane is bonded to a very thin layer of stretch knit fabric. This helps prevent the poncho from ripping at the first tree snag you come in contact with.
There are very nice sewn hems along the entire edge of the poncho and it comes in it's own carrying case as well for easy out of sight storage.
I do wish however they had put one more snap at the sides as they tend to blow open if it's windy and let rain in.
The hood has a stretchy drawstring so you can really cover up your head - something the $3.99 ponchos never have. This poncho is attractive enough for sure and would be useful on most occasions.
Love this poncho. Very light yet effective. You almost feel naked wearing this. Excellent construction, snaps in the right places, sheds water well and dries quickly afterward. And did I mention it is so light? I think I will get another for guests.
I'm completely thrilled with this poncho as the material is exactly what I hoped for. I bought the Stormtech poncho too and have compared them. I like both and will keep and use both, but this one is the best because of the fabric. It will be nice to have one handy for farm chores and one I can carry in the car for emergencies. This one though is definitely my favorite. While both are about the same size and style, this one seems to be a bit better made, with better hood ties and grommets for fastening at the neck. The Stormtech poncho is a finely woven nylon fabric that I'm sure will be nicely rain resistant, but the fabric on this one is rain proof. I had a raincoat that I loved made out of this same material. It served me well for many, many years before the fabric finally gave out. The company no longer makes that sort of coat and I've been looking ever since. Most raincoats are ridiculously expensive or poor quality or too heavy or styled for work or dress wear. I wanted a raincoat with a hood that would keep the rain off when I would not normally be wearing any sort of coat--like in the summer when it's very hot here. Both the Stormtech and this poncho are very lightweight and will serve that purpose just fine, but I know from experience that this material, a light polyurethane over a thin fabric backing, is completely waterproof while also being smooth and flexible and surprisingly durable. One thing I liked about my beloved raincoat was that it was so generously cut that I could even put my purse or a bag under it for protection. Obviously I can do the same with a poncho. I wish the 'sleeves' were longer, but otherwise the coverage and length are good. On me, at 5'4", it comes below my knees but only 2/3s down my arms. A poncho is not ideal when it's windy since the open sides would flap and allow you to get wet, but until I find a coat made of this stuff, it will have to do.I highly recommend this poncho as quick and effective rain protection when it's too hot for a coat. It comes in a nice carrying bag that is not too small to get the poncho back in after use. - Rainwear - Rain Gear - Womens - Rain Poncho'

Alternative Music - various artists, alternative music
Been a fan of this band for a few years, so this is a treat to get this sampler for free!
This collection has a several new songs from their last album, Heartland Highway, which I don't have and are sweet to get.
I like the sound of this band because they remind of an Eagles, Fleetwood Mac type of genre with a country-rock sound.
They also play a lot of their songs either electric or acoustic, which I like to hear.
The first songs that I heard that made me a fan are: Change Your Mind, All For You, and Mandolin Moon, which is included here.
Happy New Year and new fans enjoy! 11411 [Amazon MP3 Exclusive]
Last year it was the 20 songs in '10 collection and now this year it's more new stuff, and so far, the new stuff sounds outstanding. Last year I was a big fan of the collection they brought out, and so far this year it's more of the same. This is music I would pay to get, but Sister Hazel brings it out for Free and I appreciate them even more.
I just started listening, but my favorite of the new stuff here (Leaving out Vacation Rain, Sail Away, and the two others that they brought out last year) include Shame and This Kind of Love. Great songs to rock out to.
I'm not a music expert, but I have to say I really like these guys. I've been a fan for a while, have a few of their CDs, and was really happy to see this collection pop up for free. This band for me is a triple threat - great sound, great vocals, and great lyrics. Hope to see more from them soon!
For me, Sister Hazel dropped off the map a long time ago because I simply hadn't heard much from them music wise. So I find this album on amazon along with the -20 in '10- collection (an incredible SH compilation which is a good companion to this if you can find it) and I must say that this was a really good surprise. If your a Sister Hazel fan you cannot go wrong here, Vacation Rain makes it worth the download and since it's currently free you owe it to yourself to grab this really good album.
My wife turned me on to Sister Hazel a couple of years back, and they have become one of my favorite bands. Tremendous harmonies, solid guitar work and always interesting and engaging lyrics and song structures, SH is one of the most reliably entertaining rock bands in my collection. Heartland Highway and Release, their most recent two albums, are both outstanding efforts. We caught a live show in Rock Hill, SC, on a spectacular summer evening in 2010 and are looking out for our next chance to see the band. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS TERRIFIC FREE SAMPLER!!!
Sister Hazel is WOW good! I cannot believe I got this album for free on Amazon. They have a definite country sound, with a little bit of a Bare Naked Ladies touch and quality. The songs on this album are all good. I had never even heard of the group before downloading the free album. Typically, the free albums on Amazon are a bit of a mixed bad. That was not the case here. Every track is excellent. Now I look for all Sister Hazel music to download to my cloud. They are that good! Highly recommended.
I was very happy to see Sister Hazel listed in the recommended albums on Amazon and even better for free!!!! I grew up listening to this band and I own their first album on a CASSETTE which I need to convert to CD format!! :o) It's very nice to have another album of theirs. I saw them perform in 2003 at a summer concert with some other bands in Westminster, Colorado. Were any other fellow "Hazelnuts" there? :) That's a cool fan name! I wish I knew more about their other albums earlier, but I never hear them on the radio. I'll just have to go out and buy some more!
I have always liked Sister Hazel. This album is so Sister Hazel and it just takes me back to a simpler time. I liked all the songs the first time I heard them. Plus, I got them for FREE! Life is Good! Thanks Amazon.
I am slightly biased because I am a fan of everything that SH creates...and this is no exception. This is a great collection, including a moving version of my favorite song of all time- This Kind of Love. Enjoy. - Alternative Music - Rising Stars - Various Artists - Sister Hazel'

Unless you are completely out-of-shape (and odds are that if you're looking for a home step kit, you aren't), don't bother buying this set. I do not take step classes, but this set is even too low for me. Its cheap price point reflects cheap, plastic construction and it is pricy trying to upgrade the set. While the board with two risers costs less than $40, the only way to make it taller is to pay $24 per set of risers. Adding one more level costs almost as much as buying an entire new kit, which is ridiculous.

Deer Camera
This little camera take great night shots for the price. I find the battery life to be better when I set the delay a little longer than the default time. You end up getting less pictures of the same deer over and over, which results in you getting more battery life, and pictures of more animals.
I've got 2 or 3 of this model, and I haven't had a problem with any of them yet.
I mentioned in another review that the external battery is a good option, so I'll do the same here. Wild Game Innovations External 6V Battery Pack
It's worth trying out if you intend to leave your camera out for longer periods of time. Wildgame Innovations 2.0 Mega Pixel Digital Trail Camera With Infrared Flash
This trail cam is great for the money I purchased two of them but make sure you get the infrared and not the flash model so you don't spook the deer. I also found it to be helpful if you reset the time delay instead to two minutes then the preset flash of one minute to extend battery life or you could just purchase the extra external 6v battery pack then you have no worries! Great cam for the price if you don't mind the pictures being black and white at night.'

Household Item - video games, rca cables
Purchased 40 of these cables...one-third tested bad (open) out of the box. Taking apart the connectors shows that the connections are not soldered and are not even crimped to the connector...they are held in-place by the plastic cover. The ends fall off with the slightest tension. Not recommended. RiteAV RCA Stereo Audio Cable (6ft)
My cables that came in the mail, were 10 times better than the ones in the picture, they have gold plated connectors, thick cable and they feel pretty strong while connectin is hard to plug and unplug but they work pretty good. I think i paid or a 3 dollar cable and got a 20 dollar one.
Happily for me i bought 3 :D
Like another reviewer stated, these cables do not look like what is in the picture. The cables are purple rather than black and have a much cheaper look to them. Also, as yet another reviewer said, they ARE cheaply made. Aren't RCA cables cheap enough to make as it is? Why do these need to be made worse?
This is the last and only time I buy cables from Amazon. I'll stick to Monoprice or eBay. Taking advantage of Amazon Prime wasn't worth it in this case.
I just receive this cables, bought 10 of them. They are PURPLE!! the picture shows a black cable. i need this for a "visible" rack and will not match all the black cables i am using it. i will keep them since i am in a hurry. but be careful... you will not get what you see!!! - Rca Cable - Cables - Video Games - Rca Cables'

Planer Stands - dw7350, planer stands
In all likelihood the first reaction of someone considering the purchase of the DW735 Planer is going to be that the stand is simply too expensive. And it is dear. I didn't buy this table at first, but used a standing table I had in the shop. The only problem was that moving the planer about in a small shop rapidly becomes a weightlifting exercise. The DW7350 is the heaviest of the portable planers. To solve this DeWalt as brought out this heavy-duty, rigid table that moves easily on its casters. Once you break down and decide to purchase it you are going to wonder why you didn't have it right from the start. Mine came with a midway shelf, which doesn't appear in the picture. Working height is excellent. Assembly is pretty straightforward as well. DEWALT DW7350 Planer Stand with Integrated Mobile Base
I received this mobile planer stand for Christmas and I am very pleased with it. The packaging was adequate and the assembly instructions were basic and easy to follow. Working alone I had this stand assembled in about 45 minutes. I was amazed that all of the pre-drilled holes were precisely where they needed to be. None were off even a little bit! Although the picture here on Amazon shows this planer stand without the (included) lower shelf installed, I went ahead and installed mine. I think this is a great feature to include with this product as it adds an extra storage spot and it also adds rigidity to the stand (although it felt very sturdy anyway). For now I have put my Delta planer on the stand and am pleased with the utility of this product. The only thing I can think of that could be improved a bit, and this is minor, is the particle-board top of the stand. I felt it was a bit undersized and also a bit too thin. If I were redesigning this tool I would have made the top twice as thick to add strength as well as weight to cut down on vibration. As I said though, this is a very minor criticism. Overall I highly recommend this mobile stand as a quality product and a good value for the money!
This is a rugged, sturdy table for benchtop type of planer. You wouldn't wnat to run 12" 8/4 board through it without using a roller stand on both sides lest you risk tipping the planer stand over. But otherwise, it's a very useful item.
If you asemble one, follow the descriptive text for assembly, noting the letters used to denote each part (washer "P" or "O", etc. IF you do that, asembly shouldn't be difficult.
I found the that the bolts for attaching the planer to the stand were bagged separately from the other nuts and bolts so there was little chance of using the wrong bolts.
I used a 1/2" wrench and a 1/2" socket without any problems. You do need a socket for tightening some of the nuts.
Assemble in a clean area; if you drop a nut or washer, you want ot be able to find it as there are just enough of each parts, including nuts, bolts and washers to put the stand together. Don't count on there being spares if you drop one into the pile of waste cuts you haven't gotten around to picking up.
I find that the top panel is more than sufficient for it's purpose. Some have said that it could be thicker, but the weight of the planer rests near the perimeter so you shouldn't expect to notice any flexing in use. Also, near the perimeter, the panel rests on front, back, and side bars, which at the top extend several inches toward the interior.
A plus, the panel is predrilled and marked for the DeWalt planers, although you can countersink and drill holes to hold other benchtop planers.
The stand is rigid and uses lockwashers on all of the nuts where lockwashers would matter. I expect to get a long useful life from this stand, and I know my back is going to appreciate it. ;-)
I would give a 5 star rating except for two problems in the assembly instructions. First I do not recommend mounting the foot pedal inside the frame. You cannot get to it with your foot. Secondly the longest bolts do NOT mount the wheels. Instead use the next shorter ones provided. The longest bolts are what work to mount the planer to the stand.
One last item, I also purchased the extention plates. It would have been nice to know in the stand assembly instructions the planer cannot be mounted to the stand BEFORE you install the extentions.
The above mis-information added about two extra frustrated hours to assembly.
This is a very substantial stand for the 735 planer. The package comes complete with all of the nuts, bolts, washers, and screws needed for proper assembly. The overall workmanship is excellent (no unfinished or rough edges or corners - a typical fine DeWalt product).
The negative aspects of this stand involve the lack of coherent directions for assembly. All of the nuts and bolts are metric (no mention of this in the assembly instructions), the assembly of the footstand for elevating the entire planer stand is left to the imagination of the assembler, the placement of the feet is vague, and the length of the shoulder and carriage bolts in the various applications is left to trial and error.
Making the assembly instructions more user-friendly would greatly enhance the rating level of this product.
A good solid stand for a planer. However, the assembly instructions suck.
1. Nuts and bolts are really 13 mm, not 1/2".
2. Very poor illustration.
3. The foot pedal is a hazard mounted 'outboard'. It is much better mounted 'inboard' and actually functions better in that position. To make the foot petal easily usable 'inboard' you must reverse the actual foot petal on the pre-assembled unit. Remove the retaining clip (split ring pliers do not work, use a screwdriver) and just reverse (180 degrees) the petal.
All parts will be used with none left over, so read the instructions carefully. - Dw735 - Planer Stands - Dw7350 - Dewalt'

White Board - white board, dryerase
A four by six foot Expo white board has been on the wall of my office for years. As easy as the white board is to use, I still miss the look of the old slate chalk boards. Of course, I do not miss the messiness of the chalk dust that used to get over everything. I had no idea that there were black dry erase boards. Now, I have one! I just received an Expo black board and neon marker combo. I love it.
The black board now sits on the wall above my desk. It attaches to the wall magnetically. I can write on it with the neon markers that came with the kit. They all show up well. It looks like the black boards that restaurants use for posting the specials-of-the-day. Post-it notes stick to it, as do magnets. These cute black boards can be obtained separately from the markers. They come in 8.5 x 11 inch and 10 x 10 inch sizes.
I tested the neon markers on the new black board as well as on my large white board. The neon markers show up well on black, but only the pink color can be read easily on the white board. The neon dayglow on black looks great. The neon markers can also be purchased separately.
Since I am a scientist after all, I also tested the white board markers on the black board. I tried blue, red, green and black. Although, they are great on the white board, they are not at all visible on the black board.
The one necessary item that did not come with the combo kit is an eraser Fortunately, I already had a standard Expo eraser. It erases the neon writing easily. A paper towel also works.
Altogether, I am very happy with my new black board, the old white board, the markers, and eraser. I cannot wait until they come out with larger black boards, so that I can satisfy my retro leanings with the new technology. Ipod Accessories - usb charger, ipod charger
I got this for my iPod touch and it works just how I thought it might.
There's no reason apple should charge thirty dollarz for this when it's just a piece of plastic and some wires and junk.
The build quality is better than I thought. Not super sturdy but I'm sure it would hold up If I threw it around a little.
Overall I'm very happy, and would just buy another one of these even if it broke after some time. USB Travel Charger for Apple iPod, iPhone, iPod Shuffle 1st Generation, iPod Photo/iPod U2, iPod Mini
There were a couple of reviews that helped me out by mentioning that they had success with this product with their 3rd Generation Ipod Touch. I just wanted to add to that conversation for others looking for that specific model. I have had no problems at all. Great design. Charges quickly. This is the only charger (especially at this price) that I know of that works with the 3rd Gen Touch. I highly recommend this one.
This product shorted out my iPod touch right away. I now have hundreds of dollars spent on a paperweight. The Apple Store can't fix it, neither can the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy.
Do not buy this product.
First of all, this product came a lot sooner than the expected delivery estimate so that's a big plus, and secondly, it works flawlessly with the Apple iPod touch (3rd Generation). I will definitely buy from this seller again.
5/5
WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!! I repeat...DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!
I bought two of these chargers not more than a month ago (Jan 2011) and they have both broke so far. The prongs on both have come out and one glitched out a brand new ipod touch...You get what you pay for and here's a perfect example...WARNING!!!!!
I inherited an ipod touch 2g and needed a wall charger, this type of charger from apple cost $30 and I refuse to pay apple's inflated prices...I had tried several other chargers and none worked with the touch 2g. This charger works perfectly, I believe it is due to the 1000mA output, the other chargers I bought were only 500mA. So if you are looking for a charger for the 2g, make sure it's power output is 1000mA. This should also charge other devices that require the higher current output.
After 6 months of faithful service, I happened to be awake when the charger shorted and became engulfed in flames. I am thankful for life and my family's life and my home as it would have been gone if I hadn't serendipitously happened to be awake.
maybe this product would be considerably better. At the moment, it appears to be charging my iPod. That fact is fine because I bought it for that reason but what I don't understand is why it makes my touch screen go haywire on my iPod touch 4th gen. I cant even enter my unlock code right without it entering a bunch of random numbers. I'm 100% positive that it isn't my iPod because I had just been charging my iPod before I received this product, and the touch screen works fine the second that it's unplugged from the wall charger. Many Journey fans say that "open Arms" was their best ballad, I think "Faithfully" beats that. I saw them in concert for the "Frontiers" album tour and their performnce was awesome. I think Steve Perry's vocals really shine in this song and show such a range I think he has to be one of the best vocalists ever. The music video was good too. This song also hits a chord with me as I'm a truck driver and can identify with being away from home and loved one's for long periods of time. Faithfully'

Subaqua Noma Iii - carbon fiber, subaqua noma iii
There are some good and some bad things about this watch. I do love the look of the watch. This is my first combat edition watch and love the way it looks. It is quite light for it's size because of the thermopolymer links. Also quite comfortable to wear. The only down side really is that if you are in a low light situation you can't see the hands very easily, and if you are in the dark, forget even trying to see what time it is. It hasn't been a huge issue for me but it might be for others. Also make sure you check for loose screws in the band. I had 2 of them fall out and get lost the first time I wore it. Luckily I was able to get it replaced and have had no further issues with it. It is an all-over good watch, but if you need to tell time in the dark, pass this version up and get a different color. Invicta Men's 5915 Sea Spider Collection Chronograph Black Polyurethane Watch
I had been looking for an all black watch for months, when I finally decided to purchase this watch. BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!
The watch band is amazingly light due to the composite material used, and as other reviewers have said... you need to go tighten all the screws to make sure none of them fall out. This took me all of an extra 3 minutes, as I needed to resize the band anyway.
The watch is massive, which is what I was looking for, and the chrono start and reset buttons are easy to press.
The only thing I have as negative feedback (to some this may be positive) is the face is lighter than the picture shows. The hands are 2 shades lighter. I know most people won't care, but I thought I would share.
The bottom line... this watch looks great, is a great price, and I get compliments on this watch EVERY time I wear it! - Venom - Sea Spider - Carbon Fiber - Subaqua Noma Iii'

Kitchen Tv - portable tv, lcd tv
I was looking for a battery power TV expressly for use in case of a a power outage. After reading reviews on several brands of portable TV's from various places, I decided to give this one a try. Battery was fully charged when received.
The first channel scan with the provided antenna didn't pick up anything ,(I live about 20 miles from the closest broadcast tower). I hooked up an old set of rabbit ears that came with a TV that I purchased many years ago, rescanned and picked up 3 channels, one weather station, the local NBC affiliate, and something else. The weather & local news is what is important to me when the power is off, so that is fine. I hooked it to the cable, rescanned and received all my regular cable channels. For emergencies this will work. I am purchasing a 12 volt power supply that runs on 8 D cell batteries as a backup to the internal battery which lasted about 2 hours.
It has a very good picture when hooked up to rabbit ears & maybe even better when hooked to the cable.
Another note: I repositioned the rabbit ears and now get 6 channels.
The power supply I purchased is not available here. [...].
The only negatives: provided antenna & the coax connection is to tight to screw the cable to it. (I solved this with a push on connector that raises the connection enough for easy attachment of cable or antenna).
The picture of this unit posted on Amazon & elsewhere is not the SC-499D. Look at the posted customer images to see the image I posted from the manufactures website.
Update: Amazon has changed the image on their website since I added the one from manufacturers website. SuperSonic SC499D 9 LCD Portable Digital TV with ATSC/NTSC Tuner and AC/DC Power (1 Each)
The TV setup procedure was simple. Great little picture and sound adequate for such a small package. The antenna that comes with the TV is useless unless you are say within 1 mile of the transmitter, standing on the roof of your house. I hooked the TV up to my rooftop antenna and scanned in 20+ channels. I tried 4 different indoor digital antennas and had to spend another $36 on the Terk model listed here on Amazon. You must use an amplified antenna. The $36 Terk was just as good as a $65 Radio Shack antenna. Short version is, be prepared to buy a different antenna to be able to use this TV and only then, you're only gonna get 'some' of the channels that a rooftop antenna will get.
I ordered this portable TV for my wife to use in the kitchen. It came with all the parts as advertised. I pluged it into the cable connection I have in the kitchen and turned it on. My wife has been using it for two weeks now and it has performed as desired. I would recomment this unit to anyone that wants a small portable TV.
If I did not review this product before its because it was a gift for my wife, as a non portable TV in the kitchen. According to her its sensational and I think so too. It took x Times Warner Cable techs y hours to connect it. I had already done that but they redid my work. Great TV. Only complaint- the manual is opaque and there is little on line support. But it works. Thank you
Great picture from connection to roof antena in my condo. Get over 25 channels in Los Angeles that are perfect. There are more channels at the high end 56-58 that come in bad. I am very happy with this both for kitchen watching when in there and for battery back up. Highly recommended.
This is a clever little device. The picture quality is outstanding. It takes quite a bit of patience to tune in stations so they are stable. I find that I get different channels depending on which part of the house I'm in. I was recently hospitalized for a week, and I found the TV to be a reliable friend - much better than the in-house cable feed. I'm glad to have a portable, battery operated TV for emergencies, when the power may be out but stations are broadcasting. It's a great value for the price.
This TV will pick up the basic local Digital Broadcast (2-4 channels).
To receive additional and outer distant TV broadcasters, buy one of the small portable, foldable, Digital TV Antenna. The TV has an adequate rechargeable, onboard, Lithium Ion, battery. I have no idea how many hours, but for emergency purposes, sometimes we only need an hour or two. Tie it together with your standard Car Battery Back-up (12volt) Supply, and use the Car-Adapter, and you could watch TV for a couple days.
We purchased this item for our son who drives a semi. He has enjoyed watching TV while stopping for the evening. He's been very satisfied with it's clarity and the number of channels that he is able to get.
Unless you are allowed to use the Empire State Building or the Eiffel Tower as your base antenna this TV won't catch more than a couple of channels. Amazon sells it with a Terk HD Antenna that needs to be hooked up to an AC outlet to work. Imagine, a portable TV hooked to a AC operated antenna! Besides only catches a religious channel. Anyway, I returned the antenna and bought an RCA flat HDTV antenna with not better results, I returned the second antenna and bought an ears rabbit antenna with the same disappointing results. I live in South Miami, channel 4, CBS, is less than eight miles away, I half-see it, some times I do, sometimes I don't. I enfatically do NOT reccomend this TV. Audio is awful. - Lcd Tv - Portable Tv - Digital Tv - Kitchen Tv'

Portable Grill - portable grill, camping
My family purchased a roadtrip grill 2 years ago to use for camping and we absolutely love it. The Stove Grate accessory made it even better, we use it for cooking, making coffee, heating up water for cocoa, washing, & etc. We are about to purchase a second grate as well. If you're thinking about purchasing an accessory griddle I recommend getting one of these instead and then use a pan. Coleman RoadTrip Accessory Stove Grate
We bought the grill for camping, and if you're out camping you're going to want coffee in the morning! The stove grate attachment is the only way to be able to get the coffee going in the morning without messing up the grill plates. It worked fine for us, we cooked all our breakfasts on the grill using this attachment. And it's easy to clean, too.
I purchased 2 of these grates to go on my new RoadTrip grill to take camping. They worked out perfectly!! I used them for "quickly" boiling a big pan of water for corn and for hot dish water and I used two at a time with my beloved Pampered Chef double griddle (I just covered the handles with aluminum foil). For anyone who wants to use the RoadTrip for more than a grill, this is a must have! They are also fairly lightweight and pack away nicely.
This is a fantastic item to have with your road trip grill. We use ours for camping and this item is wonderful. HEAVY duty too! I was amazed at the construction and quality. After replacing 4 camp stoves in 4 years I KNOW this one will last!
I got my Coleman RoadTrip Grill 9941 (the blue one) for Christmas and love it. I wanted to be able to use the grill for all of my cooking needs while camping so I purchased two of these grates for boiling water and using the coffee pot. The grates are a good fit and built very sturdy. The grill and grate have no problem holding a 12 quart stock pot to boil water for dishes or cooking large meals. This grate allows my RoadTrip Grill to replace all of my other camp stoves. I highly recommend getting at least one!
Stove grate works great. We used it on vacation shortly after we received it, and it made the grill just that much more versatile.
Very happy with the purchase.
I would recommend this item to anyone wanting to increase the value of the Road Trip Grill. - Camping - Accessories - Roadtrip Grill - Portable Grill'
