Female Nudity - thriller, colin firth

I wasn't expecting to like this very much. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that everyone involved with this film knocked himself out. Oliver Parker, the director, certainly had so much more style and flair in his version than I'd seen in the old black and white version. Ben Barnes as Dorian couldn't be better. He is superb. He has the perfect face too for the walking around Dorian whose vices don't show on his face. Firth is his mentor but he is an armchair decadent compared to Dorian, able to talk the talk but not walk the walk.

If there is anyone on the planet who doesn't know the gist of this Oscar Wilde classic novel, it is this: Dorian Gray is a handsome, wealthy young man whose picture is painted as he is launched into society. He is quickly diverted into an ever escalating cycle of vice and debauchery. However, instead of the ravages of dissolution marring his face and figure, they instead ravage the painting. How far will he take this and is there any way out as the painting gets worse and worse?

The settings, the costumes, the details--all wonderful. I think Wilde himself would have enjoyed being at the premiere of this film! Dorian Gray

DORIAN GRAY as adapted form Oscar Wilde's famous novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' and directed by Oliver Parker is about as fine a transfer of a period novel to the screen as has been made of late. The settings, costumes, and acting are all outstanding and with Parker's 'enhancing' some of the debauchery in the transformed life of this famous character updated to allow for more sensuality and brutality than prior cinematic versions, the tale really becomes dramatic.

Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes), an orphaned, abused child who happens to inherit a mansion in London upon the death of his only relative, comes to London as a young inordinately handsome yet shy man. He is immediately seizes the attention of Lord Henry Wotton (Colin Firth) who believes that the only goal in life is to respond to your desires, to your sensual needs. Dorian is introduced to a young painter Basil Hallward (Ben Chaplin) who is attracted to Dorian's beauty and as he paints his portrait he becomes enamored with his model. As the portrait is completed Lord Henry suggests that Dorian could always remain as beautiful as his portrait if he 'sold his soul' to remain ever youthful. Dorian takes up the idea and follows Lord Henry's tutelage to drink, smoke, and carouse in brothels, opium dens, and in the boudoirs of all the middle aged ladies of society. He encounters a beautiful young actress Sibyl Vane (Rachel Hurd-Wood), falls in love only to cast her aside (we later discover that her body has been thrown into the river much to the chagrin of her brother James (Johnny Harris). As Dorian's thirst for lusty and scandalous behaviors increases he causes much harm: the mutual attraction between Dorian and Basil eventually results in Dorian butchering Basil and discarding his body into the river grave. Dorian decides to leave London and travel to exotic places to try to fill his lascivious appetite: he returns twenty odd years later and every one has aged except Dorian. Lord Henry's daughter Emily (Rebecca Hall), born when Dorian departed London, is Dorian's intellectual match and the two are mutually attracted but Lord Henry violently objects, knowing what the real Dorian Gray is inside. Dorian's secret - that he remains young eternally while his portrait ages and reveals the vile aspects of his corrupt life - is finally revealed and the ending is a gruesome one.

Ben Barnes, Colin Firth, Ben Chaplin, and Rebecca Hall are all superb in their roles - as are all of the many well-known fine British actors who fill minor roles. The DVD adds comments from many of these actors in a way that focuses on Oscar Wilde's novel, making the commitment of everyone involved seem more acutely aware of the film's purpose. It is a very well photographed, costumes, and lighted piece of cinematography - a truly excellent period piece for this great novel to come alive again. Grady Harp, July 10

I finally was able to see the 2009 version of Dorian Gray, adapted from the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

I am writing this review AS an Oscar Wilde fan. I have read The Picture of Dorian Gray twice and I have read The Canterville Ghost twice.

I am going to tell you right now that these negative reviews that claim that this film is an insult to Oscar Wilde are WRONG! It's as if people who know very little about th eworks of Oscar Wilde are following a trend.

Those that say this would make Oscar Wilde roll over in his grave clearly have never seen the dreadful mid 2000s version of The Picture of Dorian Gray that re-sets it in the 1960s with a female Basil with horrendous acting. And they clearly have never seen the 1940s version of The Canterville Ghost that turned the entire story into World War 2 propaganda about a solider having to prove himself against a Nazi.

I will admit that this not a word for word faithful adaptation of the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray however it is very true to the heart of the novel, the meaning and purpose. The character portrayals are perfect and accurate. All changes are purely superficial. I know Ben Barnes as Dorian does not resemble the character of the novel however he does resemble Oscar Wilde himself and since Oscar Wilde saw himself in Dorian I felt this was a brilliant use of visual symbolism in Wilde's own relationship with Dorian Gray.

I know that some people have complained about the adding of the character Emily Wotton, whom does not exist in the novel. What people fail to remember is that nearly all film versions of The Picture of Dorian Gray have this 'redeemer' character. In the 1940s movie her name was Gladys. In the 1973 version of The Picture of Dorian Gray her name was Beatrice. In most versions she's Basil's niece or daughter but in this version she was Lord Henry's daughter.

What many don't know is that this character does exist in the novel. She's mentioned briefly near the end as a country girl named Hetty. Her part in the novel isn't as big as in the film adaptations but she does still exist and she works to add sympathy to Dorian's character.

You cannot see the inner workings of Dorian's mind in a physical medium like films or plays as you do with the novel so you you need a new way to see his moral struggle. And this is done through the presence of Emily.

Collin Firth was incredible as Lord Henry. That was the best portrayal of Lord Henry since George Sanders. When he says 'People die by common sense.' he fully became Lord Henry for me. Most people treat the role too academically and sound like they're boredly reading from a book. Collin Firth however really got it. He really understood the character. This version of The Picture of Dorian Gray has more of Oscar Wilde's witty epigrams than any other version before it. The only line missing that I wish was in here is Lord Henry gives Dorian a cigarette case. In this one it's just inscribed with Dorian's name. In the novel it reads 'The World has changed because you are made of ivory and gold. The curve of your lips re-write history.'

The only character of the film I did not like was this version of Sibyl Vane. In this version Dorian seduces her into sleeping with him before marriage (as he does in the original film with Angela Lansbury in the role).

When Sibyl starts talking about having a family Dorian argues that it is too soon, much thanks to the ideas planted in his head by Lord Henry. When this Sibyl kills herself it gets revealed that she was with child. This takes away from her sympathy. It's true having a child out of wed lock was frowned upon in the Victorian era but it did happen. And it did not mean the end of the world. Look at the character of Fantine in Les Miserables. It was selfish of this Sibyl to kill herself because she did not just kill herself, she killed herself and the unborn baby that she seemed so eager to have only a few scenes earlier. It looked almost as if the suicide was out of spite.

Sibyl does kill herself in the earlier incarnations but at least she had never done it while carrying a baby and knowing she was carrying the baby, and having wanted to raise the child. It's hard to sympathize with this version of Sibyl, especially since you know her brother Jim would have taken care of both her and the baby if not Dorian.

Basil, however, was very sympathetic. One thing I'm glad they cut was that in most versions Basil didn't just disapprove of Dorian's relationship with Sibyl out of jealousy, he also had told him not to marry beneath his class. Basil doesn't do that in this version. Basil is the most sympathetic of Dorian's Victims in this film.

Dorian himself is played exceptionally well though my favourite character portrayal in this version is Lord Henry. Dorian goes from ruthless and cruel to sympathetic and tragic in a heartbeat. The struggle is perfect. You can see his conscience, and not just with the painting. He is fighting against his own darker instincts which adds to making him sympathetic.

As a true Oscar Wilde fan I feel they captured the spirit of Oscar Wilde's intent. This was the best version of The Picture of Dorian Gray I have ever seen, the black and white version coming in close second for having the better and more innocent version of Sibyl Vane.

I am in America and we never got a theatrical release of this version of Dorian Gray. This film is truly good, truly exceptional, and, if you want to watch any film about a young looking immortal, this is far more intelligent, interesting and just plain better than the Twilight Saga. - Thriller - Ben Barnes - Suspense - Colin Firth'

Droid Incredible - iphone, iphone 3g

This armband fits perfectly my Iphone 3G. It stays tight in my arm, the mesh fabric helps a lot so that you don't sweat that much, so no risk of getting your Iphone all wet.

On a first look I thought the Iphone was at risk of falling down while running because it's not closed in the upper side (where you insert the iphone to the armband) but this compartment is made of a very elastic fabric, so the Iphone stays there, not movement at all.

I just used it for my 10K this weekend and everything worked fine.

The manufacture is not that detailed, a lot of little strings are coming out of the sides of one of the materials, but with the help of a little scissors that will be fine.

The armband fits a big range of arms, mine are not that slim (medium female arms) and still has band to fit bigger ones.

The band is 42 cms long, from the plastic clip on one end to the end of the velcro band, so I'll say you can have 32 or 33 cms of circumference in your arm and will still close with enough velcro to be thight.

Hope this helps!

Magdalena Soto Black Mesh Gym Armband Case Cover for Apple iPhone 3G 8GB 16GB / 3G S 16GB 32GB [Accessory Export Packaging]

I don't consider myself a giant (6'3" male, 214 lbs), but I find that the length of the strap around my arm to be barely adequate. I use this while running or lifting weights, and for the most part, the armband works well. Exercises such as arm curls, though, will actually cause the strap to pop off. If I were younger, I'd think it a huge ego-booster, attributing it to my massive biceps. But (sigh) I'm old and married, and this is just annoying. Another petty complaint is that the slot at the bottom is not quite long enough to allow you to insert the headphones jack for the iTouch--the hole is about an eight of an inch beyond the slot. You can get the jack in, it just takes a bit of fiddling.

I love this product. I use it on all my runs. The only thing I wish were different is that it had a key holder. That is a personal preference. Otherwise, I can easily control the screen through the plastic cover and it holds the iphone tightly in place.

If you're looking for something to hold your iPhone 3G or 3GS, you plan on using microphone or remote controls, and your arm isn't very thick around, this is the item for you. If your arm is on the thick side or if you plan to manipulate the touchscreen much, maybe there's a better solution for you out there.

The plastic lies just a bit elevated from the screen, so you kind of have to depress to register a touch. If you're trying to touch near the edges it's even more difficult. The strap is not too long - if your arm is a bit thick then you'll have issues putting it on. I had to have it pretty much just above my elbow, for runs this was almost unacceptable but bike rides were a bit easier.

This does NOT fit the iPhone 4. I do not know if it'll fit the original iPhone.

PROS:

+ Cheap

+ Works

+ Keeps your phone dry

CONS:

- Short strap

- Clumsy touchscreen operation

- Strap can sometimes be scratchy

This armband is quite good, especially given the price. It would be five star except the following:

1) It smells awful when new. Really awful. My whole apartment smelled like nasty chemicals within minutes of opening the package. However, a few hours of airing and it's fine. So, if you get this, i guess try to open it outside and leave it somewhere to breathe for a while before you bring it indoors.

2) It fits my tiny little arms, but if you're on the large side, it might not fit you. The maximum size is a modest ~13 inches.

3) My iPhone 3GS fits well, but not tightly enough that i'd trust it for any exercise with much vertical movement. You can remedy this by just slipping a rubber band over the armband once the phone's inside.

Other than that, it's great. The mesh breathes well, the velcro is strong, and it's fairly comfortable to wear.

I just need something to hold my iPhone during my jogs. This thing works fine for that purpose. The clear plastic can make it difficult to input info into the iPhone, but I normally don't do that during the run anyway.

I've been using this for about a month and it's perfect for all of my workouts. It's comfortable backing doesn't cause any problems when it's on my arm even during my run. The band is plenty big to fit around multiple size arms with plenty of band left. The only thing is the plastic screen protector is a little thick. Trying to unlock your phone makes you press on the screen a little harder than usual but over all it's perfect for every workout routine that I do. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I was concerned with the size before ordering because a few people complained about this armband being too small. However, I just got mine and it is almost too big. I'm an average guy, 6'2" and 190 and the velcro barely fits and the band is too loose for vigorous activity. I'd be more disappointed, and rate it lower, if I would have paid more for it. I think I can easily shorten it and adjust the velcro and make it useable.

Not sure if the company is compensating for the complaints and went too far or what but unless you have really big arms (16+ inches), the one I got should fit you. - Iphone - Iphone 3g - Accessories - Armband'

Hitachi Framing Nailer - hitachi framing nailer, hitachi

I have had my hitachi NR83A2 for about 3 1/2 years. I have used the NR83, which was a great gun, but who wants to keep going back to the compressor to adjust the air pressure when you can simply adjust the depth on the gun. I have not had any problems with the depth of drive, it works great. And the single fire, bump fire mechanism has never given me any trouble either, in fact, it is very handy to have if you are in a situation where you can't afford to have a double fire. Contrary to a previous review, you can mount a rafter hook on this gun. You just have to drill an extra hole where the magazine bolts to the gun. I got the hook off amazon as well, it is make by toolhangers inc., and it fits NR83A2 and a skilsaw. I have framed with a few other guns, namely the Porter Cable, I have used the Paslode powermaster plus, and I have used the Senco. But most of my experience is with this gun, and I can't see ever changing over. Once you put a rafter hook on it, this gun has it all, and lacks nothing. Only complaint, when you are nailing off with 8s, the 2nd clip will often ride up on the 1st clip, causing a jam, which is annoying when you are trying to go fast. But other than that, no complaints. If you want a true framing gun, get this one. I guarantee you if you walk onto any framing crew out here in California, you will see Hitachi's being used. Hitachi NR83A2 Round Head 2-inch to 3-1/4-inch Framing Nailer

I'm in the middle of building a 10X16 shed with this nailer. I've used it for the rough framing, nailing the sheathing, and framing trusses (lots of toe-nailing). I've had no problems with this tool - it does a fine job. I'm using the BC nails available on Amazon - 3&1/4 in framers (comes coated) and their 8d ring-shank galvanized for the sheathing.

No regrets about buying this - it's saved a world of time!

We're building a new home and during the framing stage I watched the framers use this gun all day long, day after day with no problems. When I asked them how they liked it, they said they would not use any other gun but this one. We're nearing the end of construction and I decided to tackle the rear deck myself (lots of money to be saved in doing so). I decided to take the plunge and buy my first pneumatic nail gun. I'm not a professional builder, but, I can tell you I do love this Hitachi framer. In fact, I'm so excited about it that I've ordered additional nailers and a stapler to put in my dream shop which is going up at the same time as the house. Actually, the shop is finished - something my sweet wife reminds me of each time we visit the building site. I keep telling her "We just have to maintian our priorities!"

I have been a professional carpenter for almost 15 yrs.now and I have used many guns. the NR83 IS by far the best out there. sadly its no longer made and has been replaced by the NR83A2(which is still an excellent gun by the way).ALL framers out there will agree 100%.I would NEVER trade my Hitachi For another brand. a few out there not familiar with these tools say they jam when loaded with 2 racks. of course they do because of the cheap way the nails are collated! dont blame it on the gun! I have never had a problem with this gun and will continue to use it until I retire from the trades. period.

I have owned this gun for 3 years. I am a professional remodeler and I use this gun 5 days a week. My best friend has owned an older model for 25 years without ever needing service. These guns are indestructable. I have dropped this gun off of roofs, onto concrete, off of ladders. Still works like the day I bought it. Like any nail gun, you have to learn how it works and find it sweet spot. Every gun fires differently. Once you get used to it, it will be second nature. It is best to only put one sleave of nails in at a time, otherwise they tend to get stuck together and cause a jamb. That is the only complaint on this gun, which I think has more to do with how round head nail strips are made. I did accidently shoot myself in the knee with a 16D nail while working alone. Kinda sucked, but it was a stupid mistake I will not make again ;)

Hello

I have been a framing foreman for many years and use the Hitachi NR 83 and 90 guns daily. They are by far the best product on the market. We have several guns that are so beat up, you cannot tell what brand they are, yet they still work great. We do large school expansion projects and really give these guns a workout. They do it without problems, day in and day out.

Beware, the Hitachi NR83A2 and NR83A2(S) are very similar, but the (S) does not have a depth control on the gun. I was surprised when I opened the box at home, after handeling the display model in the store which has the adjuster. Maybe that is what the 'S' stands for >surprise<

As it turns out, I don't find this to be a detriment, since the unit has worked flawlessly driving 12d nails (3.25 inch) at 100psi to 120psi, the range that my compressor cycles between. Neither gun comes with an air fitting, and they require a large one (3/8inch). I bought an (S) model today at my local Lowes hardware store. They have awsome customer service, beating their competition's sale price by 10% which made my price $222.00 plus tax. I had searched for a tool that will drive full head nails consistently, and this tool works flawlessly. I am not a professional carpenter, but I know good quality and sometimes you get lucky and can find it at a decent price. This nailer is worth every cent, and will last a long time. Oh, I almost forgot that Hitachi has a 5 year warranty! I am very pleased with this nailer.

I borrowed this gun from our contractor when building our house and loved it. And being the gun that builders prefer meant a lot to me, so when buying a framing nailer this was the obvious choice. Since then I have been helping my in-laws build a house, and we have gone through thousands of nails with this gun without a single complaint. And when the siding nailer broke, we started using galvanized nails in this gun, and it worked just as well, if not better. - Hitachi Framing Nailer - Nail Gun - Nailer - Hitachi'

Royal Purple - mobil1, full synthetic

I used Mobil 1 10W-30 in my 1994 Ford F-150 six cylinder for 14 years. At 210,000 miles I have never had to replace anything on the engine - it's entirely cherry. After the break in period I only changed the oil every 25,000 miles while changing the filter every 5,000 miles. Not only did I get gas mileage so good no one believed me (20 mpg winter, 23 mpg summer)but it didn't cost any more than conventional oils and I never had a problem with my truck. I recently sold my truck to a guy who couldn't wait to get his hands on it and I now run Mobil 1 in my 2008 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder and am getting 40 mpg (OK, 34 mpg with the engine running, 40 mpg by hypermiling). Mobil 1 94003 Synthetic 10W-30 Motor Oil - 1 Quart, Pack of 6

Since writing my last review I figure I should do an update. Since that time I now use Mobil 1 in almost everything I own. Since putting it in my John Deere tractor I now have no trouble starting it at zero degrees (F) when I need to plow snow (my chemical engineer uncle tells me this is due to Mobil 1's increased fluidity, meaning it continues to flow at all temperatures). Starting my push mower is now a breeze as well, and I've even started using it to lubricate firearms that I use in cold weather (in years past I've had semi autos jam in really cold weather with conventional oils if I put it on too thick). The fact that it doesn't goo up when cold makes it perfect for anything that you'll use below freezing temperatures, and the fact that it isn't carbon based means no carbon residue left behind in your engines. I love the stuff and doubt I'll ever buy conventional oils again for any purpose.

I bought this item on Amazon because of the convenience. I like to do my own oil changes and I don't live anywhere near a Wal-Mart.

When the box arrived, it was immediately apparent that one of the bottles was leaking. I decided not to return it and will probably never order again.

Mobil 1 synthetic oil will do the job. It is a good oil. I have used it for years and will use it again if I need to. I usually use Royal Purple which Is in my opinion, better and fantastic. The reason I give Mobil 1 three stars is because it is not exceptional. It just does it's job and does it well. No trick up it's sleeves and normally I'd give five stars for something I like and use that "Just works" however, and with engine oil, I'm a bit more reserved. - Motor Oils - Lubricants - Mobil1 - Full Synthetic'

Magnetic Field Therapy - phiten, phiten necklace

I bought this titanium necklace just to try one more alternative treatment for my joint pains and was really pleasantly surprised. It seems to be actually helping. I take tons of supplements and use magnets as well as the Q-ray ring/bracelet but this is the first item that seemed to immediately help decrease the pain in my joints. I'll have to see how it fairs as time goes by but if constantly wearing a rather ugly necklace is the price to pay, so be it. I can't say it'll help everyone who tries it but it definitely seems to be relieving my joint pains. Yehhhhh.....something that REALLY works!! Phiten Titanium Star Necklace, Black, 18-Inches

I had back pain for about a year. After seeing these necklaces being worn by a ton of Major League Baseball players I decided to give one of these a try. Next thing I knew, my back pain was gone. Coincidence? Maybe. But, when I forget to put it back on after a shower I sometimes feel pain again. These are very light weight and comfortable. Highly recommended.

I am a chronic sufferer of back and neck pain. An accident several years ago left me with a fractured vertebrae and more pain than I know how to deal with. I watch a lot of baseball on TV and saw a lot of players wearing this and decided to give it a try. This product(along with a weekly workout regimen) has helped me deal with and exceed my own standards of pain tolerance. I don't know whether it's a mind-over-matter type of experience, but at this point, I don't really care. If you deal with aches and pains similar to these, I would definitely give this a try.

I've been wearing it for 3 weeks now. I have sciatic due to a herniated disc. I was hoping this will relieve pain. I guess it's not that powerful to wear it on the neck to get rid of the pain in my low back. I also got the bracelet which really works for my wrist, elbo and shoulder. Well, it's probably the combination of the necklace and bracelet that make them feel pretty much pain free. They are painful because I am a Programmer and work on the computer all day.

I would say this product works. I may be buying the waist belt that is not sold here.

I've had gout for over 12 years and I constantly get flare ups on my right ankle. At times when my flare up was not as severe, i often would have minor ankle swells lasting all day. With a number of supplements taken such as black cherry fruit extract pills, glucosamine, NSAID's, and even acupuncture, i constanly had a slight swollen ankle that bothered me each day, especially in the evenings. Since watching the baseball players use it, I began reviewing the benefits of using this bracelet and heard from the BB players that it was helping them ease pain. I immediately thought of buying one for my dad since he always complained about his neck and how much it bothered him. Mind you that he is a welder who constantly shifts his welding hood downward with the use of his neck..figured that was the main reason why his neck hurt all the time. I bought this necklace and gave it to him and told him that the bracelet should help reduce is neck pain. Very kindly, my father acknowledged my statement as he placed it on his neck. Surprisingly, my dad called me two days later and said..."son, i couldn't wait to call you to tell you that the my neck pain is gone!!, and you are right! this thing helped my neck pain!" I was very glad to hear that...now here is my story. I got in Amazon and purchased one for me with the crazy idea of placing it on my ankle where my swelling occurs. My ankle measured 11 inches in diamater so i purchased the 22 inch phiten black bracelet. The day of arrival I opened the package and tied it on my ankle..perfect fit once double looped. Folks or readers..my swelling has gown down and my ankle pain went away!!!! Really...I can't believe that this bracelet served its purpose. Unbelievable! Now i can get up in the morning and not feel any pain in my foot. My evenings are much better than they every have been. i feel more energized throughout the day and feel great at night.

I still take my cherry fruit extract pills, B complex, and Glucosomine supplements to help eliminate my uric acid in my body. i also take a teaspoon of baking soda to help neutralize the acid in the blood(kidney specialist referral).

for those of you who have any joint pain, i suggest you try this bracelet and place it on the trouble areas. Of course it's impossible to find one long enough to fit around your waist, for those who have waist problems, but having one on your ankle, neck, and wrist will certainly help balance those energies overall.

this is my story and felt it is worth sharingto those who are thinking whether or not this product works. I would gladly here anyone's testimonials about this bracelet. It truly works !!!

I'm a drummer who does a lot of session work and driving around to gigs who deals with chronic back and neck pain. I've been through chiro treatment and use all sorts of inversion tables, back rests, and braces to help deal with the pain of muscle stress and tension in my back and neck. Sometimes this pain spreads to my ribs and other areas so my pain simply comes from tense muscles, no disc compressions or anything like that. After buying this at a local sport shop and putting it on, I got into my car and slouched down into my seat (something I don't usually do because of the pain in my lower back) and drove to where I needed to be, not even realizing that my pain had went away. After wearing this necklace for a few days, I have stopped taking muscles relaxers at night, and I noticed while waking up I don't feel any tension. Usually waking up in the morning I feel the most tension but haven't had a problem for the past week. This morning while getting ready for work I was having some pain in my left ankle, and it was popping. I never have ankle pain and it never pops (must have tweaked it). Therefore, I took my necklace off and wrapped it around my ankle. 5 minutes later the pain was gone. I'm not sure how this product works, although I'm a firm believer in the bodies natural healing process. If this IS indeed placebo effect working, then what is the big issue? People should understand that placebo effect is a natural and very important process that can occur in our body. Western medicine spends time trying to get medication to work apart from the placebo effect, which is dangerous and a waste of time. I feel this product really does work and suggest it to anyone who wants to help themselves overcome pain with their body's natural healing process. Stop listening to other people's criticism and see if this product works for you. Your mind plays a bigger role in the success of this product than you think. That is all.... - Nonsense - Phiten - Phiten Necklace - Waste'

Only reason for buying another is my roomate left it outside and it got stolen. Awesome drill, best I've ever used! Craftsman 19.2 volt 3/8-Inch Drill 315.115510 (Bare Tool, No Battery Or Charger)

Needed a drill dropped the first one from the roof putting up sheet metal (1) to many times still worked but broke the housing just needed the drill what a fantastic product can not do better thank you Amazon and Craftsman

Battery

Contrary to the review below, I've had one of these in my garage remote for over five years. It's just died after a week of -25 tempts (I live in Minnesota) but it's served pretty well prior to that. I'll probably replace it with a name-brand battery this time to see if there's a difference, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another GP if that was all I could find locally. 23AE 12 Volt Alkaline Battery

What can one say about a battery? This one is little but it sure packs a lot of punch for my ceiling fan remote. It is little but powerful and sure does the job.

Amazon sure handles a lot of products and like all others I have purchased from them their price for this battery and shipping was very fair. Amazon is first class in all it does.

This battery is used in a scant few devices , so it's very hard to find in most retail stores. It goes in my mailbox alert sensor. I knew that if anybody had it ; it would be Amazon ! Received the product in 3 days , and solved my problem !

Bought this battery for our doorbell to replace the one that had died after several years. We haven't had any problems with it; seems to work great and be the perfect replacement! We've had it in for just under a month now.

Not easy to find these little guy's so I thought I'd pick up some spares for my security system door and widow sensors. Wish the product manufacturers would find a way to use common AA or triple A batteries in their devices. Must be George Bush up to his old tricks as usual.'
